Youtube daily report w Jan 7 2018

Hi I'm Mike, and today we begin the process of finishing steers for eventual sale of beef

to our customers, also we take a look at the debate between grass fed and grain finished

beef , on Our Wyoming Life.

If this is your first time here please subscribe to become member of the ranch, we post videos

about ranching, farming, gardening, farmers market, ranch style cooking and whole lot

more, so just hit that subscribe button and the bell and make sure you don't miss a

thing.

I promised the kids that I would show you guys the new boots they got me for Christmas,

a lot of of you have asked about my boots and here is the scoop.

These new boots are from Ariat's farm and ranch line of boots, the only kind of boots

I wear, and I've tried lots of boots.

Almost every year I get a new pair of boots and now I only choose Ariat, they fit me right

and they last forever, and after wearing them all day, they are the only boots that I can

take off and not leave my feet aching.

Today, we have to get these brand-new boots dirty, as we start graining the steers, the

grass-fed steers.

But wait, cows can't be grass fed and grain fed, that doesn't make sense.

Marketing lately has us believing that there is grass fed beef and grain fed beef and the

differences between the two are astronomical, but is all the hype true?

What's the difference and is one better than the other?

I'll try to shed some light on the subject as head out to move some cows around, up until

now the older steers, the younger steer calves, and the replacement heifers have all been

living together in one corral, but now its time to separate off the older steers so that

we can start finishing them.

To get beef from the pasture to your plate, cattle undergo a finishing process and since

World War I, calves have been sold and sent to feedlots to be finished to ideal slaughter

size and weight.

Here on the ranch we keep a few steers back each year to do just that on a much smaller

scale, ending up with a richer flavor beef and more tenderness associated with grain

finished beef.

You can't start talking about finishing beef without getting into the grass fed or

grain finished beef debate.

In reality, all cattle, are grazed on pasture at some point in their lives and are grass

fed.

Meat labeled as grass fed beef means that it has only eaten grass or hay from the time

it was weaned from its mom, grass fed beef is usually more expensive because it is done

on a smaller scale and there has been a lot of debate over which type of beef, grass fed

or grain fed, is more nutritious.

Grass fed beef has more omega -3 fatty acids, while grain fed beef has more oleic acid with

less saturated and trans fats.

Both types of fats are considered good fats and a study from Texas A&M found that the

impact of eating both kinds of meat on cholesterol is the same if the fat content of the meat

is similar.

Many sources have also noted that grass fed beef contains more Vitamin A&E than grain

fed beef, but in reality, neither type provides enough of this vitamin to really make a difference

in your diet, you'd be much better to eat a carrot.

The final component that has been discussed is Antioxidants and Beta carotene, which grass

fed beef has been shown to be higher in these components, again though, not enough, you'd

get more of antioxidants and beta carotene from eating carrots, greens and blueberries.

Much to Erin's delight and stimulating her sales from farmers market.

So, all beef provides a nutrient rich protein, providing your body with a critical resource.

Research suggests, that higher protein intakes may be good for your health, can help with

weight management, preventing osteoporosis and reducing your risk for cardiovascular

disease.

The big difference between grass fed and grain fed beef is based on your taste or the price,

that's it.

No matter what meat you eat, you can be confident that your food is safe, nutritious and a healthful

choice for you and your family.

I know there are going to be people that ask why we don't just grass feed our beef, its

a lot easier, you don't have to feed them grain everyday and track their intake and

you can charge more money for it.

Here on the ranch we take pride in giving our customers the best product that we can

produce and grain finishing provides the flavor and the marbling that will produce a higher

quality cut of meat.

Marbling is intramuscular fat and as meat cooks fat melts, making the cut of meat tender

and moist and infuses it with meat flavor.

As you can imagine, its difficult to get fat by eating grass, which is why you've probably

never seen a grass-fed beef that was graded prime, despite the fact that grass fed beef

is more expensive.

Feeding our steers grain produces exactly the kind of beef that we wish to sell and

the process starts right here in the corrals.

We have seven steers in this corral, each one weighs between 800-900 lbs and up until

now they have been given hay to eat daily along with a taste of grain every few days.

Beginning today, their diet will be stepped up and after they are separated they will

begin getting an increasing amount of grain per day, starting at just a few pounds apiece

and over the next 60 days that ration will be increases slowly until they are enjoying

almost 30lbs of grain each per day.

All this grain will cause them to gain weight, and produce that marbling we talked about

earlier.

Sorting them off is easy enough, hopefully.

We just need to keep them in one corral while we move the rest of the calves into another

corral.

Slow and steady wins the race here as we practice low stress cattle handling techniques and

let the cows take the lead, moving themselves to an environment that they feel more comfortable

in.

Years ago when we first came to the ranch, it might have taken me an hour to sort these

cows, but the more you work with cattle, the more you become in sync with them, you get

used to the way they move and their body language.

And when dealing with animal that weighs 4 times more than me, I'm going to let them

make the rules.

No rush and no pressure.

Eventually, we get them sorted off and moved back into their own new corral, where they

have hay and water waiting for them, along with their first taste of extravagance in

their new life.

Corn, Oats and Barley, a combination we call COB.

Finishing our own beef allows us to know exactly what goes into each steer, we use no antibiotics

and no growth hormones.

They receive all-natural food and are raised with enough room to move around and be comfortable.

They have shelter from the weather and always have clean fresh water available to them.

We respect all of our animals, because without them, there is no ranch.

The grass-fed vs grain fed beef debate I'm sure will continue, probably long after any

of us have the teeth to chew through a steak anyway, but the truth is that some people

prefer grass fed and some prefer grain fed.

For me it all comes down to taste, I've tried both and grain fed beef provides the

tenderness and the flavor that I have grown to love.

There's also something to be said about raising your own food.

Whether it's a carrot, an orange or steak, and if you can't raise it yourself, do me

a favor and visit your local farmers market, support those that do raise your food.

Talk to a farmer or a rancher and learn exactly what goes into it, we can all look at a chicken

mcnugget and pretend we don't know what it is, because it tastes so good, but you

can know what you are eating, and get it from the growers mouth, not the food….That would

be weird, like a baby bird thing.

You know what I mean.

Come back later this week as we try to tackle the project list again on Tuesday and I'm

inviting you personally to come join Erin and me Thursday night at 7pm mountain time

for a live stream right here on YouTube, where we will be answering questions from you and

throwing in our own two cents as well.

Please subscribe and comment, find us on Facebook for content you cant find any where else and

if you have already subscribed, thank you very much for becoming part of our ranch.

Have a great week, and thanks for joining us in our Wyoming life.

What is a Heightening? (No Spoilers) - Letters From the Cosmere Part 15 - Duration: 12:59.

It's odd to walk inside a home, that is no longer yours

I have lost several homes up till now

Some were taken from me by ill luck some by force and some I fled from in terror

Thankfully today. I am walking through the home. I have sold off along with all my other holdings and trade ships

It still amazes me how much wealth one can build when he or she is for all intents and purposes

immortal

Now this is the home. I never deserved. How washed up upon these shores as a backup pod cast out from my ruination

I was lower than the beggars and I knew it that it was my nature to reach for stability and progress I

Worked hard and employed all my various skills to gain the upper hand on my fellows

It wasn't long until I had become a supervisor for a small time mill. It was there that I first tasted of living breath

On the planet in office the stewardship of endowment the manifestation of investiture is known as biokinetic breath

When I was first brought under your employ

I was so caught up in the whirlwind

Surrounding or char that have failed to dictate to you this most important of investment and sharda content

I do so now knowing that my current existence would not have been possible without breath all

Native-born people on now--this are given a single bio chromatic breath upon their birth

All living things in the cosmere hold a small amount of investiture inside them their life force or their essence on

The office they are gifted with something more alone

this breath is almost unnoticeable if you were from another world and were walk the streets it to tell you the

People would not appear to be different, but breath is like people one alone can only do so much

But with many together so amazing things can happen

By speaking the right words with the proper intent the breath can be endowed unto enough

although the value of a single breath changes slightly over time the rule of thumb

Is that the sale of a single breath usually equates to the value of a year salary for a lowly worker?

This provides a free infusion of wealth that the poor can rely on during troubled times

The rich and mighty will often spend great fortunes to collect this breath because of the metaphysical benefits. It comes along with

these abilities are described in tears of power called heightening x'

If one attains about fifty breaths you will enter the first heightening besides extending your life about 10 years this gives the user or a

Recognition in other words they can discern a general amount of breath others carry and gain some insight about the health of that breath

most residents on the office who desire breath stop of the first tightening

At around 200 breaths the holder gains the ability to manifest perfect pitch

Spontaneously this is also known as the second heightening

The third heightening gratz perfect color recognition and manifests is about 600 breaths

This is the curious sensation that feels almost like perfect pitch for your eyes

Some may feel that this ability grants the breath hold of the ability to see more color than others, but this is not true

Instead this allows for stark distinction of color to be observed

I must submit color recognition and the understanding of hues and textures is intoxicating at

An approximate requirement of a thousand breaths the fourth heightening is beginning of the rare heightening achieved by everyday people

when one attains the fourth heightening the wielder gains perfect life sense and

One acquires more breath, they instinctually become more aware of the investiture held by the people

This life sense not only lets you feel the people around you

But heightens your awareness of others who are observing you even if they are hidden or mixed in with a crowd

This is proven invaluable

with this ability I find myself in control of both situations before they begin the exception to this ability comes up from drabs a

Drive is someone who has given up all their breath

And they are functionally undetectable via license as a run a more accustomed to this power

I find the undetectable nature of drab to be disconcerting it

Is here at the fifth heightening that one such as I have found the cosmic shaking ability of longevity?

When you hold about two thousand breath the body becomes functionally perfect

It becomes immune to most toxins including alcohol and most physical ailments so this disease headaches and organ failure

In fact after I attained the fifth heightening I no longer aged

Now this is incredible, but by no means does this mean I am free of danger

Well natural causes of death are now eluded. I can still fall to the sword like any other man

With this lifestyle comes risks and I must be on guard considering how much information brokering. I participate in

Thankfully I have been blessed by other talents. They granted far more advantages than just the fifth heightening I

Feel I must pause here and relate to you briefly, what inspired me to attain such lofty heights of breath I

am ashamed to say that my holding of bio chromatic breath was not fueled by a desire to live and experience the Kazmir I

feel so now

But when I began my business on the office it was out of a sense of desperation and addiction

My world had been shattered and had been left me adrift and broken when I discovered this place. I feverishly worked

Attempting to drown my past in the frantic world of business and politics

many government officials are expected to reach the first tightening in order to access the nation's civil functions regularly I

Remember taking on those first breaths and the euphoria that came with it each breath filled me up making me feel alive in ways

I'd never felt before I found myself driven to capture more breath

Feverishly I would claim more and more wealth using my power to gain information

I never should have known and to take things I had no right to claim

I was worse than a back-alley thief but before into my heists on a grand scale and

Every bit of profit I made I poured feverishly into getting more breath

For almost 20 years, I gathered my riches and invested Souls while building a financial Peyer and before. I knew it

I was turning 40 didn't look a day over 25

slowly my work had filled the gaps in my life think giving me purpose I

settled down and began to focus on the diagonals and weapon forges that I had built in my fortune and

There I remained until your messenger arrived and pulled me from my holdings

But I digress

Just because this is where I stopped collecting breath doesn't mean there are not more heightening to learn about at

An amassed fortune of 3500 breaths the wielder gains instinctive awakening breath is not just about hoarding and collecting personal

Enhancements but about giving a form of life to normally inanimate objects

By infusing breath into something usually something that has once been alive like cloth or corpses. You can give them a measure of automation

This infusion of investiture along with a clear command phrase spoken in your native language

Can give an object temporary life shaped by the desires of the holder?

This investing art is called awakening

And it is complex and virtually boundless the difficulty faced by a wheel their breath boils down to two things

Amount of breath available and the commands that you know the more complex the order and the larger the object in question

The more breath it will take to animate the material

when an awakener achieves the sixth heightening they begin to have a natural mastery of awakening allowing them to

instinctively understand and wield basic awakening commands without training or practice

this also opens up the pathway for greater command research as a

instinct provided along with this breath can light the path of discovery as

I write you today. I find myself temporarily experiencing the seventh heightening

Although this will not last long I have allowed myself this

Temporary treat of seeing just how much color there is to observe at this level I can confirm that by holding 5,000 breaths

I have gained the ability of awakening sense at this level the nature of endowment investiture becomes incredibly fine-tuned

Not only am I aware of the people around me

but I can feel the life of objects that have been awakened and

This level is like seeing a ripple of heat encasing all things the hold breath

Very few have ever held those power so even with the wealth

I've gathered over hundreds of years the secrets of the last three known heightening czar base off historical accounts and basic rhythmic theory I

Doubt I'll ever experience them myself

At the 8th heightening which reportedly requires at least 10,000 breaths comes the ability to break commands well

I do not think it's possible to steal breath from awakened airs or the objects they infuse

It is possible to tear down their intent and potentially change the commands

They are given while this is possible without the 8th heightening

It is so difficult Israeli attempted that the a tightening awakened us can achieve this by instinct although. I hear there's still an exhausting process

Once a command has been broken the object and the breath it contains can be restructured

According to the wills of desires of those who are broken it. I've never experienced this for myself however

I have confirmed that it has happened

Once we step beyond the six heightening we are stepping into a level of awakening a bio chromatic breath that has hardly been observed

The few in history who have attained such levels rarely show others what they can do so some of this is guesswork for

Instance at the ninth heightening which is achievable at a staggering

20,000 breaths

Comes the ability to perform greater awakening tales of this type of awakening mostly come from the myths and legends of the past

Tales of stone warriors destroying armies and of living metal that cuts through Armour as if it didn't exist

Regardless the awakening a matter that never was alive takes an incredible

Amount of breath and is impossible to attempt until the awakener cheese the night tightening as far as I know

The tenth heightening is the highest rank of bio chromatic breath that we know of there may be other heightening levels beyond

But if that's the case no one has ever discovered it

Once the threshold of 50,000 breaths have been attained all scientific and historical

information becomes as useless as blind guesswork at

This point the color surrounding of the awakener cannot be contained it begins to bend the light via a light distortion

Color seemed to bend inward almost glowing of their own accord and anything that appears white will give off a fractured rainbow of light

Similar to the effects of a prism well someone uses breath to awaken

Color is drained from nearby objects acting as a fuel for that investment at

the 10th heightening the straining abilities enhanced to a perfect invocation

Which draws all color out of an object turning it white instead of the usual gray.

Most impressively this heightening comes with the ability to awaken without having to give verbal command

This mental command almost defies the rules of awakening although. It is apparently difficult to learn and master

There could be even more powers and instinctual abilities that come with the 10th heightening, but I'm not aware of them

Well, this is a decent summary of the heightening bear in mind the art of awakening is difficult to define

For instance it is entirely possible to reach a heightening more or less than the lists of the melt

The strength of each breath is different from person to person and the small differences of each breath can influence

Exactly how much is needed to attain a different heightening. I feel there's still much untapped potential to be discovered in this art

For now I am contented holding the scent of heightening for a few more hours

This additional breath has cost me everything I own

I will no longer hold a position here on Nalthis although that may change in the future

It was obvious to me that once we made our way back here that there was something far more precious to me than my holdings

I can't wait to finally explain all of this to Kassar

After all I did this for her sake

After she's been trained in the arts of awakening. We'll be moving forward it seems

There's some kind of stir about my whole homeland

I wish this was only a mission of scholarship

Yet the actions of odium have sealed fear to my very being I cannot be content unless I see what is going on

until the next letter

Elsric

Grain Finishing Steers - Duration: 9:40.

Most BIZARRE Things Seen Under A Microscope! - Duration: 10:02.

From colors in your orange juice to dried out shark skin, here are 13 of the coolest

things seen under a microscope!!

13.)

Seawater Looking under a microscope, seawater could

probably remind you of sand.

While the bits that make up seawater look a little like sand, it doesn't sound as

nice.

In fact, the little pieces of sea water you see under a microscope is diatoms, a catchall

term for the various dead algae bits floating around the ocean.

The bits of diatoms take different shapes, ranging from round items that could remind

you of a donut to industrial waste.

Furthermore, if you look closely, you might be able to see tiny creatures, such as crab

larva, cyanobacteria, copepods, chaetognaths, fish eggs, and marine worms.

After learning this, you probably realize there are a lot of reasons why you shouldn't

swallow seawater!

12.)

Shark Skin The skin of a shark is quite unusual when

you view it under a microscope.

While it looks gray and similar to any other skin of a sea creature, it is actually made

up of very unique scales that people often compare to teeth.

In fact, a shark's skin is covered in millions of microscopic denticles: rigid tooth-like

scales that jut out from the soft skin beneath.

By disrupting the flow of water over the fish's skin, it is believed that the denticles reduce

drag, making for a more efficient swimmer.

It also helps them to eat anything as easily as possible.

It is also said that once shark skin is dried out, it can be used to file softer materials

such as wood!

Let me know if this is true or not because I have never heard this before.

11.)

Chalk While chalk is not as popular or as common

as it used to be, it is an interesting item to see under a microscope!

It probably looks different from what you would image.

When you use chalk, it pretty much turns into a powder, which would make you think under

a microscope it would look like sand or a mountain of powdered sugar!

However it looks much different.

Up close and personal, chalk actually looks like a million little soccer balls made out

of little pieces of bones.

These little balls are actually the shells of dead microscopic organisms like foraminifera

mixed with the corpses of sea algae.

Kind of darker than you expected, huh?

10.)

Sand If you have not had the chance to look at

sand under a microscope, what are you waiting for?

While sand might just look brown underneath your feet as you are walking on a beach, under

a microscope it is a completely different story.

Sand actually looks like several little tiny pieces of unique rocks and shells.

In fact, one little bit of sand can show a different variety of tiny treasures, with

each item having its own shape and color.

You might see a mix of what looks like sea shells, crystals, and different colored rocks.

Sand can be so fascinating under a microscope that a man by the name of Dr. Gary Greenberg

has spent decades collecting sand from various parts of the world, studying it under a microscope,

and writing a book about his findings.

He states that sand composition can vary drastically depending on where it is located.

Dr. Greenberg states that, through his studies, he has found out that conditions such as temperature,

marine environment, and surf conditions contribute to what type of rocks are found in the sand.

9.)

Alcoholic Drinks Alcoholic beverages under a microscope could

be compared to works of splattered paint!

You have to kind of stop and stare to figure out what it is and also to admire the beauty

of the color combinations!

That is if you like modern art, otherwise you can just skip this.

Several pictures of alcoholic drinks have been studied by Florida State University's

chemistry department.

Bevshots founder Lester Hutt explains the pictures by stating, what you can see in the

magnified pictures are the crystalized carbohydrates that have become sugars and glucose.

He further explains that looking at any alcoholic drink under a microscope takes weeks as they

need to dry out the droplets of these drinks before they can go under a microscope for

their photoshoot.

Hutt explains that they easily take about 200 pictures before the right picture is taken

of the droplet!

And now for number 8 but first be sure to subscribe before you leave!

We are almost at 1 million!!

8.)

Butterfly Wings When you look at a butterfly out in the world,

you notice the different colors they have on their wings.

Well, when you look at a butterfly wing under a microscope, you won't be disappointed

because they also show various colors and shapes.

Photographer Linden Geldhill has taken several pictures of butterfly wings under a microscope,

catching all the beauty for the world to see.

Some of these pictures look like images of clouds speeding through the sky or painting

waves in the ocean like Bob Ross.

Or like dozens of duck footprints painted blue and brown.

Through his work, Geldhill has learned that every time you look at a butterfly wing under

a microscope, it is a surprise because you cannot predict what the pattern will look

like from looking at the butterfly with your naked eye.

Butterfly wings are made of very thin layers of a hardened protein called chitin, which

is also what your fingernails and toenails are made of.

On top of the layers of chitin are microscopic scales, which are the source of the stunning

colors in the photographs.

7.)

Dust You might be surprised that dust might look

a bit more interesting (and less frustrating) under a microscope.

Although maybe a little terrifying if you are a clean freak!

Through studies, it can be shown that dust takes a bit of a different appearance under

a microscope, depending on where it came from.

For example, dust that collects from textile fibers actually has a stringy and colorful

look to it.

However, the most common type of dust, household dust, has a combination of little bits of

items.

This dust can hold things like starch grains, which looks like little circles with crosses,

white fibers which are known as paper fibers, and flat colorless particles are primarily

known as human skin flakes.

If you are unlucky, you might see some microscopic critters you would rather not see close up!

In a nutshell, dust is made out of a lot of different items, animals, and people from

around your household.

6.)

Soy Sauce While you are pouring it over your rice at

your favorite Chinese restaurant, you probably aren't thinking about what it looks like

under a microscope.

Or probably most things, you just eat it and enjoy it.

But soy sauce under a microscope is quite stunning.

In fact, soy sauce might remind you of golden crystals.

So many people think that soy sauce is so beautiful under a microscope that an image

by Yanping Wang from the Beijing Planetarium won 10th place out of over 2,000 images.

A vivid description of soy sauce is that it looks like an overhead view of a futuristic

city amidst a crimson desert, with howling demon and skull spirits floating around scaring

up salty flavor.

Think of that next time you have it!

5.)

Toilet Paper When you first view toilet paper under a microscope

you might wonder why it feels so soft- at least the good kind!- because the pictures

will not portray a soft fabric.

Instead, the pictures show what looks like torn up strings or fabric or shredded paper

when you dump out the remains of your paper shredder.

Looking at the image you might also wonder how toilet paper stays together when it looks

like a shredded mess.

However, it can also make you realize why toilet paper decomposes the way it does when

it gets wet.

4.)

Snowflakes For those of you who live where there is a

lot of snow you are probably tired of hearing about this!

While snow falling often looks like white, fluffy little cotton balls, it actually looks

similar to how we draw snowflakes.

They look like little crystal cutouts and each snowflake you can view under a microscope

has its own shape and size.

In fact, snowflakes are beautiful to so many people under a microscope, they have several

professional fans, such as a physicist named Ken Libbrech, who has learned when you can

find the prettiest crystal snowflakes.

Ken has stated that the most beautiful crystals usually fall when the temperature is between

5 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

He also states you need to capture them as they are falling, because once they hit the

ground they actually lose a bit of their shape.

It is a very precise science, looking at snowflakes!

I don't know how to keep it from melting before you can see it!

3.)

Vinyl Record If you want a better look at how vinyl records

are played, looking at the groove of a vinyl record under a microscope will make it all

seem clearer.

The images show the groove where the needle sits, which is between two waves of channel.

One channel is simply known as the right channel and the other the left channel.

More scientifically, the stylus, or needle, is vibrated by the grooves in the LP, which

moves magnets placed near a coil.

The coil in turn generates electricity, which gets amplified into an audio signal.

In fact, vinyl enthusiast, Ben Krasnow has taken this all a step further by creating

a stop-motion video of the needle moving through a record's grooves, explaining how he used

his electron microscope to image the record.

2.)

Salt In some pictures, you can see how salt looks

like a Mayan Pyramid under a microscope.

Salt tends to have a wonderful distinctive crystal form.

Salt crystals clearly look cubic, even though some of the grains seem to be made up of overlapping

cubes.

According to science, this happens because of salts composition.

When a number of salt's molecules get together to form a crystal, they tend to arrange themselves

in a cubic pattern.

In fact, if you break a salt crystal, it will tend to break along the planes that are at

the surfaces of the planes of the atomic lattice to create a nice, shiny crystal face.

Sugar also looks like a crystal but more of like a broken pillar than a cube.

1.)

Orange Juice When you look at orange juice under a microscope

you probably would not know what it is unless you were told.

Orange juice, like alcoholic drinks, can have the colorful art-type look to it.

However, orange juice looks more like colored broken glass, which makes you wonder if you

could actually drink it.

In fact, through a microscope, orange juice only contains the slightest hint of orange,

with other colors ranging from purple to blue to green to pink.

The popular picture is courtesy of Bevshots, who magnify dried droplets of various drinks

and then photograph the results.

So now, the next time you take a drink from your morning orange juice, you might see all

kinds of other colors!

you were there

the fire got the best of us

but you took my name and wiped the dust off

you said

I wanna love you baby until my wrinkles start to show

and

you'd know

we're in love and

I wanna hold you closer until our days are over

and we'll grow

that's just how it goes

I wanna set the letters until you're a piece of my home, and you're warm

I wanna pour you coffee just like I'm pouring you my soul

and I'm whole

that's just how it goes

and in the piles of paper full of words about me

I was there

and you talked about your favorite pet

and how he left

and how you felt

and then, you looked at me to say

"you won't do the same"

and when the sun went down and the thunder struck

you were there to pick up my calls

you'd say

I wanna love you baby until my wrinkles start to show

that's just how it goes

and now we're wishing, praying, hoping

to find a door that they can't open

you'd say

I wanna love you baby until we both become old

and I will keep pouring coffee

until my coffee runs cold

I won't break my promise even if my heart broke

How to apply Lipstick for Long Lasting | Youtube | 2018 - Duration: 4:41.

hi this video is about how to apply lipstick for long lasting my name is

Melissa van Dijk and I'm a professional makeup artist and if you haven't seen it

already I'm doing live makeup tutorials on my facebook page which are every

Sunday so go and check it out everything is in the description box down below and

without further ado let's get right into this video when it comes to applying

your lipstick for long lasting just make sure that you have the same lip liner as

your lipstick color or at least similar and now I'm going to move on to the

first step so I'm going to demonstrate you how you can get your lipstick

long-lasting this is now the lip color which I'm going to choose and I'm also

having a similar lip liner color so these are matching perfectly together

and if you have dry lips before you apply your lip liner just make sure that

you're using a lip balm before you're applying a lipstick so that the

application is smoother first up number one applying lip liner on the entire lip

as a base color will help you that the lipstick will stick to your lip liner so

that it's locked in and you can also do that creepy smile so that your lips are

quite stretchy and that the application is smoother and easier for you

for step number two apply your lipstick either from the tube or from a

lip brush or you can also start with a tube and then at the lip brush for more

precision and I also use the lip brush to get it closer to the lip line so that

I have a clean and sharp lip line

so for the next step you will need to take a fluffy brush so that you can pick

up some translucent powder and you also will need to get some translucent powder

and then you will also need to take a tissue it can be a random tissue and

then just rap it in half and take one layer of the whole tissue so that you

can get a very thin layer of it and this you will now press against your lips

now as you have applied translucent powder on the tissue and on to your lips

you can just take it off and this just with sett the color and now you can reapply

a lipstick as before with a lip brush or from the tube it doesn't matter I like

to use both to get a cleaner lip

and lastly take another tissue to press your lips to it and this will

remove any excess so that you can have a beautiful lip this is now what the full

result looks like and you just need a few steps and then you can handle it for

a long lasting lipstick and this won't go anywhere because you have applied

your lip liner then you set it with some powder and then you reapply to lipstick

and just take the excess off and with all these layers it won't move and you

can just eat and enjoy your food and drink something and have some really

nice times with your friends and this is all about how to apply lipstick followng

lasting and if you want to know how to apply lipstick with a lip liner then go

and check it out this is right here and then I'm going to show you step by step

what you should do and don't forget to hit the subscribe button right in the

corner thank you so much for watching and I will see you soon bye

give a second thought to the eyes forget going to the gym or swimming pool your

eyes also need a time and place for exercise top 7 simple eye exercises 1

the eye roll most simple to do this I exercise needs you to be comfortably

seated it needs just 2 minutes to do keep your eyes open and roll your eyes

first clockwise and then anti-clockwise do it slowly trying to stretch the eyes

as far as they can go this exercise when done for about 2 to 3 minutes will make

your eyes feel relaxed and able to focus much better to the rubdown this is a

personal favorite for overstrained eyes you can do this even while wearing

contact lenses that means this exercise can be done at any time and place

whenever you feel eye strain and need a quick refreshing exercise to do it

sitters stand comfortably and briskly rub your palms together until they feel

warm now place the balls of the Potters over your closed eyelids and imagine the

warmth seeping into your eyes remember not to press down with the palms on your

eyeballs repeat 3 to 5 times and get back to work 3 the moving finger this

exercise is great for working out the eye muscles and is even prescribed by

doctors for people suffering from poor eye muscles to do this I muscle

exercises you need to be seated and relaxed

now place your upward pointing index finger or thumb or a pencil in front of

your nose and focus both eyes on its tip without taking your eyes off the finger

move it to head slowly until it reaches an arm's length away from the face next

bring the finger close to the nose again without once moving your eyes away from

it repeat three to four times for shifting focus another easy one to do in

case of eye strain and poor eye muscle strength this one is also prescribed by

eye doctors you can do this after working at a PC screen for more than 30

minutes to do it first focus for about 5 seconds on an object very close to you

for example your pen stand next shift your focus to a distant object for about

5 seconds for example the traffic light visible

outside your office window this intermittent shifting gives strength to

the eye muscles and refreshes them too initially you might find shifting your

focus pretty hard as your eye muscles may have become lazy and lacks as you

continue doing this day after day you will find it much easier to do 5 hot and

cold compresses this can be a great end to a hard day at work to prepare for it

take a bowl of hot water and another of cold water dip and lightly squeeze one

hand towel or washcloth in each bowl first place the hot compress onto your

eyes and eyebrows feel the warmth and savor it for about 5 seconds and switch

to the cold compress for another 5 seconds repeat at least 5 times 6 i

massaged this exercise for eyes is beneficial to reduce eye strain and

dryness of the eyes at any time of the day tilt your head back with your

fingers gently rub the eyelids in a circular motion for about 30 seconds

keep the eyes closed for another 30 seconds after this instant massage and

you are ready to get back to work remember to keep your touch very gentle

as hard rubbing can cause eye injuries especially if you wear contact lenses

seven the I press having a bad stressful day at work here's one exercise for eye

strain that will soothe your eyes and your stress to all this in a jiffy sit

comfortably close your eyes and take a deep breath now place three fingers on

both eyelids and press very lightly for about 10 seconds release the pressure

for about two seconds and press slightly again repeat five times when you are

done your eyes will gain a new spurt and freshness how you improve your eyesight

2017년 후기 My 2017 Review - Duration: 5:03.

Hello everyone!

It's Hsing

Happy New Year

2017 is over

All of you did a lot of things in this one year, right?

Now, shall we look back on

my 2017?

Then... let's go!

2017 was a year of change

I changed my hair color many times

I did brown... grey...

ugly blue ;; (and blonde!)

Violet... lavender... purple...

I tried to dye all those colors (myself)

And the piercings that I wanted to do

I did them all

9! 9 piercings!

But as they say,

It's not what's on the outside

it's what's inside (your heart) that counts!

In 2017

I made up my mind

in order to improve my Korean ability,

I made my 2017 new year's resolution

to take the TOPIK

and receive a Level 3.

Agh ;;

I studied so much...

Especially during the fall

while preparing for the exam

every day after getting off work, I went to Chonnam University

to take a Korean class

And after class I would study more at a cafe

There were many of those days

In November I took the TOPIK

And the result... I received

not a Level 3

but a Level 4!

When I saw the results

"Now,

"All my hard work has paid off"

I thought,

and I really cried ;;

(sept - nov. Hsing) I didn't just study hard

In May, I went to Japan

to meet my beloved Kanami from 303 Weeb Dance

I always wanted to go to Japan

but because I was able to go with my best friend

and enjoy nice spring days together

it became the best trip of my life.

(best ramen of my life)

Kanami, I love you so much!

I didn't just visit Japan

but also many places in Korea

Through activities in the TaLK Program I'm in,

I went to sightsee at beautiful Wando

and Jeju Island

We went to the gorgeous Jeju beach

and picked Jeju tangerines

And during Chuseok

with my friends who came from the USA

in Seoul

we wore Hanbok

and went to sightsee at Gyeongbokgung Palace

We also went to play at Lotte World

I went with those friends to Busan too

to the Gamcheon Culture Village

It was really pretty!

Truly, to do a fun trip

and because I could meet my friends

I was so happy

I should talk about my school, too!

Though it was very difficult,

This year I learned a lot

I love my kids

and I became close to the teachers at my school

So when I return to the USA

I'll miss them so much

There's a ton of people I'll miss

In this video I'm unable to fit everyone but

to all the friends I've met in Korea

I want to send a message

For making enjoyable memories together with me

thank you so much!

Here comes the most fun part of the video ^^

My 2017 Kpop Experiences

In February, I finally

went to a BTS concert

It was so much fun. I don't even have words!

Though I failed ticketing for the 12 concert...

there are many concerts I went to.

Ailee

Monsta X

SEVENTEEN

my sons UP10TION

were all concerts I went to

Though I failed to get into a Monsta X fansign,

I still got to meet them

There were even more opportunities to fangirl...

I participated in UP10TION's Inkigayo pre-recording,

mini fan-meeting,

hi-touch

and I went to fansigns

3 times!

Because I was able to meet them

and express in Korean how much I love them

I was really happy

Oh my~ am I

a successful fan?

no JKJK

How was everyone's 2017?

Please leave a comment!

In 2017,

thank you so much for supporting me

In 2018, I'll do my best to improve

Let's do our best together!

This has been Hsing! Bye!!
