What You Don't Know About the 2018 Super Bowl Selfie Kid - Duration: 3:48.Lady Gaga jumped off the roof.
Katy Perry danced with Left Shark.
And now, Justin Timberlake posed with the apparently uninterested Selfie Kid.
Once again, the best part of a Super Bowl halftime show was watching yet another instant
meme created right before our eyes.
But this is a stranger phenomenon: 13-year-old Ryan McKenna shot to viral fame by simply
holding his phone, and looking at it for awhile.
Is there any more to the story than that?
Sort of!
Here are few quick facts you may not know about the Selfie Kid's big moment.
"Super Bowl selfies!"
Mystery solved
The memes hilariously suggest otherwise, but did Selfie Kid actually know who he was taking
a selfie with?
Had he ever even heard "Can't Stop The Feeling"?
Yes and yes, according to a New York magazine interview:
"I'm a big fan of his and I know all his songs.
I listen to his stuff all the time.
I definitely know the words.
That's my favorite song of his."
Ryan even made sure to reiterate that point by posting a screenshot a couple days after
the game featuring the hit single with the caption, "Best song."
So why did Ryan appear so aloof?
His phone crashed before he tried to snap the Selfie of the Year.
Fortunately, it booted right back up, giving Ryan a second chance to get the shot, but
the damage was already done.
"So I had a video going, and my phone shut off.
That's why I was on my phone, and I love him, 'cuz he's like my favorite singer and I had
to get the selfie with him."
School legend
If you were wondering whether taking a selfie with Justin Timberlake is as cool to middle
schoolers today as it was in 2003, wonder no more.
Derby Academy, the private school the seventh-grader attends in Hingham, Massachusetts, gave him
a shout out on their official Instagram with the caption, "Did this just happen?
Is this real life?"
Oh, it happened.
And Ryan is reaping the rewards.
He told the Pioneer Press,
"All my friends have been texting me and stuff.
It's insane.
I've gotten so many notifications.
I've got like 36 Snapchats, like 21 DMs, and like 150 follower requests on Instagram."
Make that 57 thousand followers, and counting.
Free publicity
You might've noticed that Ryan was wearing sweatshirt with "Sunday River" on it during
his moment in the spotlight.
The company behind the name did too.
Nick Lambert, the Marketing VP for the Maine ski resort, had an understandable two-word
reaction when seeing his gear front and center at the Super Bowl — "Holy s---."
Realizing the company couldn't buy this type of publicity, Lambert tried to repay Ryan
the best he could by offering a free season pass to their unexpected brand spokesperson.
The exec tweeted 20 minutes later,
"Seriously.
Someone send #superbowlselfiekid in my direction.
Maybe after the game.
He has good seats."
Patriots fan
Although he'll never forget the halftime show, let's not forget that McKenna was at the Super
Bowl to watch a football game featuring his favorite team, the New England Patriots.
Was the Massachusetts-resident bummed after his team's 41-33 loss to the Philadelphia
Eagles?
He told New York magazine he was, "a little disappointed," but then again, he's sort of
a Super Bowl legend himself now.
He told the Pioneer Press,
"It was already crazy to be at the Super Bowl in the first place.
Then all of a sudden I'm up on the jumbotron and everyone is talking about me.
I can't believe it."
Fifteen minutes
Not too many fans who go to the Super Bowl get invited on network talk shows the next
morning.
"It's crazy.
Everyone is just like, everyone like thinks it's so cool and stuff."
Needless to say, Ryan was probably the only Patriots fan who had a great Monday.
Both Today and Good Morning America asked Ryan about his legendary selfie – and he
got to miss a day of school.
It really can't get much better than that for the seventh-grader, unless Ellen books
him as a guest and gets him a new phone, which seems like a totally plausible next step,
if not an inevitable one, in our meme-loving age.
"..."
"..."
"...yeah."

How To Go Super Saiyan with Science! (Because Science w/ Kyle Hill) - Duration: 11:25.- The foundational manga and anime Dragon Ball Z
has made a huge mark on popular culture and on me.
Cell saga is the best saga.
Its influence is everywhere, going Super Saiyan as a meme
has even made it into sports culture.
But is there a way to explain this iconic transformation
without mystical talking dragons
and hyperbolic time chambers?
Oh wait, let's start the episode correctly.
(off-key singing)
In Dragon Ball Z, going Super Saiyan is a way for a fighter
to unlock potential and radically increase
their power level.
But tapping into this reservoir of energy
is explicitly about life forces and ki and the afterlife
in the show and the manga, but I think that science
can make sense of the transformation too.
Let's be scientific about this.
When someone goes Super Saiyan, what do we observe?
Well, when Goku makes the transformation,
his hair stands up and changes color,
and then an aura of energy stuff forms around him,
and electricity crackles randomly throughout the air.
Also when he's in this state,
he can fly and fling energy orbs around.
Is there some theory that we can come up with
that explains all this data?
I think so, and we can start with
what starts in the clouds: lightning.
Now, we don't know how lightning starts,
it could be random cosmic rays,
but we know how lightning gets going.
During a thunderstorm, air in a cloud
is moving around enough that the particles
inside of that cloud are gaining charge and then separating.
They are moving negative charges to the bottom of the cloud,
which is inducing a large positive charge on the surface
of the earth.
Now when this imbalance of charge gets large enough
between these two systems, it is suddenly balanced
by a massive surge of electricity that thunders
to the ground at up to 50% the speed of light,
almost instantaneous.
Oops too far, too far!
So if Saiyans could build up massive electric potential
on the outside of their bodies, like storm clouds do,
then it might explain the random electrical arcs and sparks
that form when they transform.
It's like tiny lightning.
But this could also explain why their hair stands up on end.
Now you probably have heard of static electricity,
but do you know why it's called that and why it
makes you hair go all funny?
I didn't.
If I rub a balloon on the surface of my head,
some of my head's electrons,
which are negatively charged, are gonna wanna jump
onto the balloon, which leaves behind a relatively positive
charge on the surface of my head
just sitting there, statically, static electricity.
My hair is now attracted to the balloon because the charges
are dissimilar but because my hair
has a relatively positive charge,
which is all similar, they want to repel each other,
and the only way to get as far apart as possible
from each other, geometrically speaking, is to separate,
like this.
Kind of Super Saiyan-y.
I mean, it's not quite Goku, but he probably uses product.
Giant electric potentials do a decent job of explaining
electric arcs and spiky hair,
but what about the flashier stuff?
If we think--
- [Narrator] Will Kyle ever finish his episode?
- What?
- [Narrator] Find out next time on BecauseScience!
- I guess we can't do the--
- [Narrator] Last time on BecauseScience,
Kyle started his explanation but will he ever finish?
- Okay, like I was saying,
if we think about going Super Saiyan
like manipulating large electric potentials around the body,
can this explain the auras that we observe
around these characters when they transform?
Now imagine that this Dragon Ball here is covered
in a large amount of charge, say negative charge
like the bottom of a storm cloud.
This creates an electric field around it.
Now, any atoms around the air that have a charge
that come near this electric field
are going to be accelerated by it.
Now if just one of those accelerated particles
has enough energy to hit a neutral atom,
and rip its electrons off to ionize it,
then it will start a chain reaction,
where all the nearby atoms are ionized
going forward.
What's called an electron avalanche,
and it turns air instantaneously from an insulator
to a conductor, allowing current to flow.
This is how lightning propagates and this is what we see
because as these ions recombine with their electrons,
they release energy in the form of photons of light.
But, at smaller scales, before arcs, before sparks form,
these kinds of avalanches can look more like glowing auras.
This glow is called a corona discharge, casual Kamehameha,
and these discharges look pretty close to the auras
that we want.
And they form even better on edges and spikes
because charge tends to gather there,
which Goku and his hair have a lot...
Have a lot of.
And speaking of his hair, coronas can also change color.
Because corona discharges break down air like neon signs do,
if the gases change, then the colors change.
So for example, if Goku with all of his electric potential,
was on a planet with a sodium vapor-rich atmosphere,
his aura through corona discharge would look yellowish.
If it was a mercury vapor-rich atmosphere,
it would look blueish,
and if the atmosphere was full of neon gas,
then it would appear red.
So different atmospheric conditions
combined with the corona discharge
could change the color of Super Saiyan auras,
and by extension their hair
as you looked through those auras.
I know that the auras are more linked to power level
and has nothing to do with the gases that they're in,
but come on, I'm trying my best here.
It's very uncomfortable in weighted clothes.
They are heavy as...
All that's left to explain is Super Saiyan flight
and energy orbs, which is the next topic
that I am going to explain, right now,
if I am not interrupted.
Alright we're good--
- [Narrator] How will Kyle's explanation end?
- Dang it! - Find out next time!
- Why can't it just be one--
- [Narrator] Last time on BecauseScience.
Kyle continued his explanation, but can he science
the last aspects of going Super Saiyan?
(groans)
- I think electrically powered Super Saiyans
has worked as a decent theory so far,
and it works as a way for them to fly too.
If I had a large electric charge over the surface
of my body, it would spread out,
but gather at the points and edges,
and then it would break down the air
along these points and edges in corona discharges
like we talked about.
But because that air is breaking down and ionizing,
some of it is going to have the same charge,
meaning that it's going to be repelled in this process,
which drags surrounding air along with it,
creating an ionic wind.
Boop, if you perfectly direct ionic wind,
you can generate thrust, and you can spin tiny
paper airplanes around.
Or life ionocraft.
Sure the thrust on display here is minuscule,
but that's only because we haven't created
powerful batteries that are very very light.
So, if Super Saiyans could generate millions of volts
of electric potential on the surface of their bodies
and perfectly direct the ionic wind perfectly,
then they could in theory fly.
And this actually fits with what we observe in the show.
When you go Super Saiyan, you create a giant blast of wind
that can even lift other characters up off of the ground.
(yells)
Senzu bean please!
Thank you.
Ugh what, did a cat with a walking stick make this
that lives in the sky and talks?
(groans)
Dragon Ball Z is weird.
The final part of going Super Saiyan,
having access to giant channels or orbs of energy,
might be the easiest to explain.
In between large electric potentials,
the air breaks down in an electron avalanche,
and when that happens, the air goes from
insulator to conductor and current can flow
as long as voltage is being supplied.
Like we talked about, this is how arcs and sparks
and corona discharges form, but what they form
when it's hot and glowy and dangerous
is the fourth state of matter: plasma.
Basically a superheated gas with its electrons
ripped from the nuclei of its atoms.
This could be our blob of energy.
It would still have to be shaped by Super Saiyan powers,
magnetic fields question mark?
But we could in theory use this as a source
of potentially destructive thermal and kinetic energy.
So, how could you go Super Saiyan with science?
Well what I am proposing is that mastering life energy
or ki is really just mastering electric potential,
being able to muster and martial oceans of electric charge
to generate lift from ionic wind,
to create auras and their color from corona discharges,
to get spiky hair and electrical arcs off your body
that make you look all cool from static electricity,
and globs of plasma from the superheated gases
that result from all that other stuff.
All you need to do is throw the switch, because--
- [Narrator] Will Kyle ever finish his episode?
- I just did.
- [Narrator] Can he science going Super Saiyan?
- I think I did okay.
- [Narrator] BecauseScience.
- Exactly.
(upbeat electrosynth music)
Air is a very good insulator, the figure that you can use
is about 10,000 volts to break down one centimeter of air.
So if you've ever seen a spark jump a gap,
like if you rub your feet
and touch a metal object,
if it is an inch long, or 2.54 centimeters,
it's like 30,000 volts that is jumping from your body
into another body.
But because the current isn't that high,
you don't have heart attack, which is good.

Don't have sex out of politeness - Duration: 2:39.Hi everyone, it's Rina.
Content warning: I am going to be discussing sex in this video.
If you are not comfortable with that topic, it's probably not a good idea to watch this video.
The title of this video is literally, "Don't have sex out of politeness."
It's a basic idea.
I have found, in the past, with so many of my female friends or feminine friends,
that this is something that is a problem.
I myself have had sex out of politeness or out of fear of disappointing the other person.
And they were not good experiences.
If you're just hooking up with someone so they won't be disappointed or anything, you're
gonna have more of an approach of "let's just get this over with."
And that's not really a healthy approach to sex, in my opinion.
It starts to feel more like a chore than it feels like fun.
Additionally, it's overall disappointing.
If you're trying not to disappoint the other person, but you're kinda disappointing yourself
through doing that, right?
If you're going into it not really feeling it,
it's probably gonna be disappointing for everyone involved.
Let's be real.
Even if this is someone that you've been intimate with in some way in the past?
You don't have to keep doing that.
You can say no.
You are allowed to say no.
If you're basically coerced into it, if you're pushed into it,
if you feel like you don't have another option?
That's not what I'm talking about at all.
I'm talking about when you feel like you do have a choice, but you choose to because you
don't wanna disappoint somebody.
No, nonono.
Everyone deserves better than that.
Are you kiddin' me?
Mm-mm.
So if you are interested in having sex with somebody, and you change your mind, that's totally fine.
If you decide to go for it because it's a new experience
and you wanna see what it's like, yeah, go for it.
But just remember that if you're doing it just because you don't want the other person
to be disappointed?
Or because you feel like it'd be impolite to say no?
You don't have to do it.
You don't.
That's basically my take on that.

How to Fall Asleep FAST - 5 Tips To Quickly Fall Asleep (animated) - Duration: 7:19.Don't you just hate those pesky nights when you can't fall asleep?
When you just toss and turn all night?
You're in luck, as I have some solutions for this problem, which I'll share with you in
today's video.
There are five things you should do every single night.
But before we begin, tell me, how long does it take you, to fall asleep?
Let me know in the comments below.
After I started using these methods, I now fall asleep in under 5 minutes, instead of
tossing and turning for 1 hour.
So let's jump right in to it.
1. Use your bed for sleep only
Lots of people like to browse their phones, play games or do work on their laptop while
in bed.
But it's important to only use your bed for sleep.
This is because your brain can form a strong link between being in bed and being asleep.
Doing anything else in your bed but sleeping teaches your brain that your bed is for other
things as well.
If you use your bed to watch TV, your brain will start to associate your bed with that activity.
If you eat food in bed, your brain will connect it with hunger.
Guess what happens if you use your bed only for sleep.
That's right!
Your brain will start associating your bed with ONLY sleep and it will become a subconscious
habit to prepare you for the dreamworld.
This is why it's so important to stay away from your bed, if you're not planning on sleeping,
and only get in when you're ready for slumber.
With this tip alone I improved the rate at which I fall asleep by 30 minutes.
However it does take some time for your brain to make this shift, so it won't work overnight.
But if you stick with it, the payoff is huge.
2. Limit caffeine
Caffeine has its benefits, but it also has a downside.
For example, I love coffee.
It tastes great and I enjoy a cup every morning.
It gets me going and it's perfectly fine to have it once or twice a day.
The problem is when you drink this caffeinated drink 6 times a day and the last cup is with
dinner at night.
Caffeine doesn't give you energy in a way most people believe.
What it actually does is, it blocks a neurotransmitter in your brain called "Adenosine".
This neurotransmitter is what signals your body that it's time to relax or go to sleep.
When you drink coffee and get that caffeine hit, it blocks the Adenosine receptors and
you don't feel as tired.
This means that even if your brain and body are tired, caffeine will still keep you wide awake.
Caffeine has a half-life of around 5 to 8 hours depending on your biochemical makeup.
Half-life essentially means that after a specific amount of time (in this case, 8 hours), half
of the substance is still active in your system.
So if you consumed 200 milligrams of caffeine (which is around one or two cups of coffee),
after eight hours you'd have 100 milligrams.
And after another 8 hours, 50 milligrams and so on..
This is why having caffeine even 6 hours before bedtime causes disturbances in your sleep.
What you should do is set a specific time in your day when you stop consuming caffeine
altogether.
This way you make sure your body has time to remove the majority of it from your system
before bedtime.
For most people, that's generally going to be before 2pm.
3. Go to sleep at the same time every night
You should head to bed around the same time every single day.
According to several studies, going to sleep on a regular schedule will cut down on the
amount of time you spend tossing and turning by a huge amount.
This is because you will naturally start feeling tired at the same time every night.
A sleep routine helps your body release hormones at the right time to make you feel sleepy
- specifically the sleep hormone called Melatonin, which regulates sleep and wakefulness.
If your schedule is inconsistent your Melatonin production gets all messed up and you won't
feel sleepy until late hours.
So I highly recommend you sit down and plan out a sleep schedule that you can maintain daily.
I for example always go to sleep around 10pm and rarely stay awake past that time.
My body is so accustomed to my sleep schedule, that I always feel sleepy around that hour
no matter what.
4. Calm your inner voices
When we're stressed or overly worried, our minds race with thoughts instead of shutting
down at night, which leaves our brain hyperactive and we stay wide awake.
So you may want to look at what's going on in your life, that's giving you stress and
see if you can do something about that.
Nevertheless, this is where a relaxation technique comes in handy.
Whether it's a few yoga poses or meditation, engaging in a calming activity before bed
can help quiet your mind, so you can drift off to dreamland.
Personally if I'm super excited or stressed about something, I meditate for 15 minutes
and it always helps my mind to calm down.
If you don't know how to meditate I made a video explaining it, which you should check out.
If specific exercises aren't your thing, try breathing deeply and slowly through your nose.
This is one of the ways athletes calm down before their performance.
5. Avoid the light
As I mentioned before, our sleep is highly tied with hormone Melatonin.
One of the ways this hormone is affected, is by the light that hits your skin and eyes.
Back in the days, sun was pretty much our only source of light.
Now the problem is that our body mistakes any kind of artificial light for sunlight.
This is why too much artificial light in the evening will negatively impact your Melatonin
production, making it much harder to fall asleep, since your body will think it's still
daytime.
We can combat this issue by avoiding any screen time and use weaker indoor lightning, at least
1 hour before bed.
That means no TV, no smart phones and no computer screens prior to sleep.
Now you might be thinking what the hell are you supposed to do for 1 hour before bed?
Personally I always read for at least half an hour, as it's one activity that always
relaxes me.
Some other good options are: solving puzzles or crosswords, journaling, sitting and listening
to music or just thinking.
None of these activities are as stimulating as browsing through your phone or watching
TV, so you'll find yourself feeling sleepy in no time.
Thank you so much for watching.
As I said, let me know in the comments below how long does it take you to fall asleep.
Then come back to this video a few weeks later and let me know if you can now fall asleep faster.
I hope you became better than yesterday.

The Black List: The incredible innovation that led to 48 Oscar wins - Duration: 5:04.Franklin Leonard is this relatively young man as we pick him up in the story, and relatively
powerless in Hollywood standards.
And he keeps imagining that Hollywood could find more original scripts, scripts that reflected
this range of humanity instead of these trite scripts that were coming across his desk.
And so he thought: one day I'm just going to see if I can do this better.
He was embarrassed, however, to actually ask that question because he thought, if I was
good at my job shouldn't I already be seeing those scripts?
But he went through his Rolodex, found the 89 people he had met during the course of
his first year in Hollywood—mind you, his job was like schlepping coffee as one of his
roles—but he thought, I'll just ask these people to help me.
And he created an alias because he was worried his boss might find out that he was doing
this, and he sent out a note saying: "Send me the scripts you've seen in the last year
that you've loved but haven't been put into production."
And people did that and he said, "In return I will roll up,"—he turned out to be a
McKinsey analyst in his prior life—"I will roll up all that data and send it back
to you as the sort of give-get mix."
It turns out that this thing that he created, which is called The Black List, ended up finding
really novel and new ideas that didn't fit the prototype of what Hollywood kept creating
over and over again.
They found really fresh and unusual ideas.
'Juno', the story of a young, pregnant teenager actually wanting to keep the baby.
I'm trying to think of some of the other scripts.
'Moonlight', which was a really original idea.
'Lars and the Real Girl', which was about a boyfriend relationship with a sex doll.
It was just some really unusual ideas.
And I asked Franklin, "What did he do, and what did he do right?"
He said, "Well, I just shone a bigger light onto a problem or opportunity."
And as I was listening to him I was thinking, no, actually that's not what you did.
And I don't mean to offend you, Franklin, but I think you actually did something much
fresher than that: you asked a brand-new question and then you gave people the permission to
join in your purpose, which is to find original fresh ideas.
And that tilt was drastically different than how Hollywood was sorting it already.
Hollywood was sorting by this question, which is: How do we make money?
And Franklin, by asking the question he did—which is: "What do you love?
And in the anonymity of this email process I will basically shield you from the repercussions
of not picking what your boss might want,"—actually got people to surface their own original interests,
their own passions, and then gather it together in that nice distributed network way to actually
be able to do something with it.
And the numbers are unbelievable in terms of how many awards those movies have received
and recognition.
But I think the best part about it is it showed the power of an individual connected in meaning
with others having that ripple effect to actually change an industry.
And that's what I think the profound impact of any of us are, however young or powerless
we are by society standards, we can raise our hand and say, "I have a different question
I want to ask," and how do I actually mobilize other people around those questions that I
think matter?
So in the course of my career what I just kept noticing is actually novel ideas can
come from—actually, in fact, they do: innovation is almost always from the edges, not from
the core and the people who have been trained the same.
And so why is it that every company who wants innovation keeps choosing models of business
that keeps them doing the same thing?
And so if I could be the one to either come up with that idea and raise my hand, or be
the one to find those ideas on those adjacencies then maybe we could actually find a way to
drive growth.
And that's how my career just kind of going from Apple to Autodesk to different places,
a combination of me raising my hand and saying, "I might have a completely alternative point
of view, let me at least offer that," to me saying, "You know, let's at least ask
more open-ended questions to figure out what kind of divergent thinking we might be able
to bring in the room."
"Onlyness"—it's not a word in the English dictionary, but I think it should
be, because at its simplest it says that each of us, standing in that spot in the world
only you stand in, get to count.
It means that quite possibly every one of our ideas matter and need to weigh in.
And sometimes people ask me how I came to the term or why I came to the term, it's
because I think so many people's ideas are dis-counted, not because their ideas are bad
but because of the power of the person that's bringing that idea.
And I was just simply trying to say, actually we need those ideas in our economy, in our
growth, for our prosperity, for dignity—and so why not move to a place where each of us
get to count, and then in this new hyperconnected age those ideas actually have a way to connect
and scale?
So that's the "-ness" part of the "only" part, to actually say: each of us standing
in a spot in the world only you stand in, now in a connectedness world, can actually
scale those ideas and have an impact in the world.

Why Is Caviar So Expensive? - Duration: 5:13.- [Narrator] Caviar is one of the most expensive foods
in the world, selling for up to $35,000 per kilo,
it's revered and relished by aristocrats around the globe.
But it's an acquired taste.
(coughing)
- [Male] Gesundheit.
- [Narrator] Turns out caviar wasn't always so valuable.
In the 19th century, sturgeon species in the U.S.
were so common, that there were accounts of caviar
being offered in saloons for free, like bar nuts.
In Europe, fishermen were feeding the eggs to their pigs,
or just leaving them on the beach to spoil.
So what changed?
(elegant music)
Similar to true Champagne,
caviar doesn't come from just anywhere.
This for example, is not caviar.
(buzzer)
To get the real thing, it has to be eggs from a sturgeon.
There are 27 species around the world,
in North America, Europe, and Asia,
but probably not for long.
- [Arne] In this case, sturgeon will die out
because humans are over-harvesting the populations
and destroying their habitats.
- [Narrator] In 2010,
the International Union for Conservation of Nature
placed 18 species of sturgeon
on its Red List for threatened species, making the sturgeon
the most endangered group of species on earth.
But lists like this are bittersweet.
On one hand they can help protect the sturgeon
from further population decline,
for instance, in many places in the U.S.
it's illegal to fish endangered sturgeon species
or import their eggs.
On the other hand, the more rare caviar becomes,
the more we can't get enough of it.
There's actually an economic idea that explains this,
it's called the rarity value thesis
and it describes how rarity increases the value of the item,
even though the item itself has never changed.
Sturgeon can weigh up to several thousand pounds
and produce hundreds of pounds of roe at a time.
The world record belongs to a beluga sturgeon
that weighed 2,520 pounds and yielded 900 pounds of roe.
Today she'd be worth about a half a million dollars.
It wasn't until around the 20th century
when these freshwater fish and their eggs
became a rare commodity.
Pollution poisoned their waters
and dams blocked their spawning grounds upstream.
They had nowhere to reproduce
and continued to be overfished for their meat and roe.
On top of that, it takes eight to twenty years
for a female to sexually mature depending on the species.
She can produce millions of eggs at a time
but the odds are that only one,
one will survive to adulthood.
In the end, the sturgeon population
just couldn't keep up with that demand.
And their coveted eggs became the jewels
of the luxury food scene.
Today caviar imports and exports
are closely regulated in the U.S.,
which is partly why it's so expensive.
- Every single egg, every one of these eggs
is taken off by hand.
Now remember we're dealing with
a raw seafood endangered species,
so it's basically like eating and dealing with,
you know edible elephant tusk,
it is that heavily regulated.
- [Narrator] And that's why today the majority of caviar
comes from sturgeon farms.
- Little did I know that by 2011,
all wild caviar would become illegal on the planet.
When I started there were six farms
in the world raising sturgeon,
and only two producing caviar, in the world.
And that was in 2004,
now there's 2,000 farms around the world.
- [Narrator] One farm in particular in China
called Kaluga Queen produces 35% of all the world's caviar.
Caviar there is harvested
with the classic Russian and Iranian technique,
which involves killing the fish
and then extracting the eggs.
Other farms are exploring a different technique
which doesn't involve killing the fish,
it's called stripping.
The fish are injected with a hormone
that triggers their urge to release eggs.
Farmers have been doing this for many years
but not to get caviar, just to produce more fish.
It wasn't until recently
that people started canning this stuff
and selling it as caviar.
- [Dmitrijs] The biggest thing for now
is that yes, fish stays alive,
you have really small impacts on the fish
because we do it really really fast.
You take the fish out of the water,
you put it on the special holding facility,
the fish has already started to spawn
and then all it requires is basically
for you to press on the belly, massage the belly,
and the caviar will just flow out of the fish.
- [Narrator] The idea behind no-kill caviar
is a commendable one, but it has yet to really catch on.
Either way, with caviar farms in place,
this gives the wild sturgeon population a chance to recover,
but whether or not that happens, is largely up to us.

Your Phone Is Dying - Duration: 3:31.(upbeat music)
- Mr. Trapp,
I wanna let you know, we've done everything we can,
but your phone is dying.
- What? No.
No, he had a full charge three hours ago.
- I'm afraid he's at 20%.
A condition known in the medical community as,
like basically dead already.
- Can I see him?
Oh no!
Oh my god, I knew I shouldn't have left my charger at home.
Oh, you're weirdly hot!
Oh this is all my fault.
- Oh no, don't say that.
- What is, it is.
I had Twitter open,
I was taking all those pictures
of cute dogs I saw on the street.
I'm not even gonna look at the pictures.
I don't know why I was taking 'em!
- I'm your phone.
I'm always gonna be here for that kinda dumb stuff.
(coughs loudly)
- I hate to see him like this.
Can we plug him in please?
Can we get a charger in here please?
Can someone get a charger in here? (yelling)
- Mr. Trapp, your phone is very old.
The only charger we have that would even work
belongs to Todd, in accounting.
- Okay, let's get it!
- I'm afraid Todd was super weird about loaning it out.
- I understand.
How much time does he have?
- It's hard to say.
With a phone that's at 20%, they can have a happy,
healthy life for another two, three, five hours,
but sometimes it'll do this thing
where it just jumps from 20% to one.
Instantly, for no reason.
- Why?
Why would they do that?
- We don't know.
It's what doctors call, Very Annoying.
- Is there something we can do?
Can we do that thing where we,
close out apps by swiping 'em away?
- That doesn't actually help the battery.
- Really?
- I'll check.
- No phone, c'mon.
- No phone. Save your strength.
- I'm a phone.
This is what I do! (yells)
(coughing)
- There are a few things we can do to prolong his life.
- Yes, anything. Yes.
- We can put him on airplane mode.
- That sounds great.
We're gonna put you on airplane mode okay, phone?
Everything's gonna be okay.
- Airplane mode, no!
- It's the only way that we can keep you living.
- No, I said!
I'm a phone.
What kinda life is that?
I won't be able to use any of my apps, not even blutooth.
What's the point of even being on?
(coughs)
- There's gotta be something we can do.
Can we put him in rice?
Let's put him in rice! (yells)
C'mon, let's get a big bag of rice in here! (yelling)
Just throw him in! (yelling)
- That's for water damage and even then,
does that really work?
- I'll check.
- No, Mr. Phone, save your strength.
I know what I'm talking about, it's rice.
Not magic.
- Oh my god.
(sad music)
I just thought we had more time, you know?
God, there's so much I wanted to do,
so much I wanted to ask you.
- You know, you can ask me anything.
- How old is Goofy's son supposed to be in the Goofy Movie?
I've been arguing with Katie,
I just have to know.
(beeping)
(gasping)
- 40.
(gasping)
He's 14,
years old.
(coughs)
- Phone?
Phone?
(beeping)
- He was a good phone.
- Nah, he was a piece of shit.
(phone rings)
- I'm so sorry, I have to take this.

Federal Cybersecurity Chief Admits That Yes, Russia Hacked Into US Voting System In 2016 - Duration: 3:57.Jeanette Manfra, the Chief of Cybersecurity at the Department of Homeland Security within
the federal government, confirmed to NBC news this week that yes, the Russians did hack
into voting systems here in the United States, and in several instances, they were able to
successfully penetrate that info.
Now, unfortunately, Miss Manfra's admission there does not go much further than that.
We do not know what information these Russians gathered on American citizens.
We do not have confirmation that they did or did not change vote totals.
All we know is that they absolutely had the ability to do it, and that they attempted
to do it.
Here is where we stand right now as a country.
In 2016, Homeland Security confirms that Russians, and again, we still don't even know what that
means ... was it just people who happened to be Russian citizens, or was this directed
by the Russian government?
Nonetheless, Russians successfully penetrated the voting systems in several states during
the 2016 presidential election.
This information is corroborated by several other intelligence agencies in the United
States, so yes, this happened.
Where we stand right now: Donald Trump recently decided that he wasn't going to impose new
sanctions on Russia, even though only five members of the House and Senate combined voted
against these sanctions that were approved by the House and Senate.
Basically, you have broad bipartisan support for new sanctions against Russia, and Donald
Trump says, "Nah.
We don't need those.
Why would we need those?"
Because they're attempting to hack into our elections, and basically install a fraudulent
president, possibly.
We've already been warned, including by Rex Tillerson, Donald Trump's Secretary of State,
that they are likely going to target the 2018 mid-term elections, and Donald Trump is sitting
on his hands, doing absolutely nothing about this.
What's almost as bad as that is the fact that we still have people in this country that
want to deny that there was any kind of Russian influence.
Well, guess what, folks?
It happened.
The evidence is there.
Move on, and do something about it.
Stop saying that it didn't happen.
That's not true.
We know now that it did.
Look, I'll be totally honest.
When this first started coming out, a little over a year ago, I was very skeptical about
it.
I expressed that skepticism, and I said, "Let's wait and see what other information comes
out."
As more and more information has come out, my views on it have evolved, as one does.
Now there is no denying it anymore.
They did hack into our voting systems.
Homeland Security confirms it.
Other intelligence agencies confirm it.
They're warning us now that they want to do it again in 2018, and the administration will
do absolutely nothing about it, because he knows that if it were not for their interference,
he wouldn't be President today.

2 Ways Parasitic Entities Attack Your High Vibration And Divine - Duration: 2:36.2 Ways Parasitic Entities Attack Your High Vibration And Divine Sovereignty
by Nicole Frolick
One of the biggest blind sides to raising your vibrations is how quickly you become
a target for negative attacks.
When I first began to consciously raise my frequency through various methods like meditation,
eating vegetarian, reducing EMF in my house and so forth, I was riding the high frequency
vibes into pure bliss and nothing was going to stop meor so I thought.
Understanding how energy works, I assumed that like attracts like and so naturally I
would only be attracting high vibe people and circumstances into my life.
This was true however it only paints half of the picture.
When I started, I didnt really pay much attention to the potential of darker energies.
I figured if I didnt focus on them, they wouldnt be part of my reality.
Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that educating yourself of only one side of the
coin turns you into a sitting duck ripe for hunting.
And I was most certainly a sitting target.
Some say ignorance is bliss but its also the open door that parasitic entities look
for to feed off your energy.
When we are not aware of something, we cant say no to it.
We blindly give away our sovereignty to these negative energy feeders and then cant understand
why we feel so low after feeling so high.
The ascension process is no joke.
When you wake up to your higher senses and begin to perceive the energies that werent
perceivable before, you realize you are playing ball with a whole new league of players.
And they dont play nice.
Why?
Because as you raise your vibes you are stealing from them the one thing they need to survive.
