Just Like Dad: Steve Irwin's Son Shows Off Exotic Animals

Just Like Dad: Steve Irwin's Son Shows Off Exotic Animals, Says 'It's Really Nice to Be Able to Follow in His Footsteps'

It's been over a decade since the tragic death of well-loved wildlife expert Steve Irwin, but his legacy is living on through his children.

The late Australian star's son Robert Clarence stopped by The Tonight Show Thursday to talk about his famous dad, and share his own experiences in growing up surrounded by animals.

"This is so cool — you're actually your dad," Jimmy Fallon tells him after Robert, now 13, enthusiastically gives some facts about an animal seen in a childhood photo of himself and Irwin. "You're so excited.".

"My dad was actually on The Tonight Show quite a while ago," Robert says. "So it's really nice to be able to follow in his footsteps. It's really great.".

Robert's enthusiasm for the natural world around him is something that he has inherited from his family, including mom Terri and big sister Bindi.

"It's just in my blood," he says. "I actually grew up at Australia Zoo, so I think I'm the luckiest kid on planet Earth.".

The youngest Irwin child shares that he and his family participate in a fundraiser every year in his dad's honor.

"It's called the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner, and this year it's in L.A. on May 13th," he says. "And it's all about celebrating everything that Dad loved, and it's a really big fundraiser to raise money for Wildlife Warriors.".

No Irwin appearance would be complete without a few furry (or scaly) friends in the mix — and of course, Robert delivers.

Among his companions on the show? An African dwarf crocodile, a screaming armadillo and the host's seemingly least favorite: a huge red-tailed boa constrictor named Lady.

"I think she's maybe constricting you a little bit," the laid-back Robert tells a terrified-looking Fallon. "I don't want you or me getting squeezed," he says, proceeding to yell and eliciting laughs from the audience.

8 Insane & Kinda Creepy Kids' Shows From 70's Weirdness - Duration: 14:37.

For children of the 1970s, Saturday morning television was the highlight of every week,

and for much of that time, it was ruled by Sid and Marty Krofft, also known as the Krofft Brothers.

Their experience in entertainment goes back to Vaudeville, and after helping

with character design for the Hanna-Barbera series Banana Splits in the 1960s, they decided

to put their own personal stamp on kids' TV.

And what a warped, crazy-ass stamp it was.

Completely in tune with the times, the brothers made this brand of off-kilter, psychedelic

weirdness that was all 70s, but cast a long shadow over children's entertainment.

So today, we're going over 8 Insane Kid's Shows From the Masters of 70s Weirdness

H.R. Pufnstuf

This series, debuting in 1969, was H.R. Pufnstuf.

The premise, which is explained completely in its absurdly long theme song, is as follows:

young Jimmy and his friend, a magic talking flute named Freddy, are whisked away in a

boat owned by an evil witch to Living Island, where everything is- you guessed it- living.

The witch tries to kidnap the boy, but is thwarted by the mayor of Living Island- a

friendly talking dragon-like thing named H.R. Pufnstuf.

He takes the boy in, since his cave is the only place where the witch's magic won't

work, and in each episode Jimmy is either trying to get home or avoid being kidnapped

by the witch.

Now, I know what you're thinking.

This plot sounds, and the show looks, like the result of repeated run-ins with roughly

all of the drugs, which will be a recurring theme.

Hell, even the main character's name is pronounced "Puffin' Stuff".

As you might imagine, this was noticed and pointed out rather quickly, but both brothers

have always insisted that drugs played no part in their creations, and that they are

simply weird people.

Fair enough, let's just say that they're weird people.

But looking at the surreal world they created in the late 60s, we're going

to go ahead and say that the chances that no drugs were involved is slim to none.

The Bugaloos

The following year, in 1970, the brothers put together their follow-up series, The Bugaloos.

The series featured a group of musical British teenagers, and was touted as the British version

of the popular American sitcom The Monkees.

However, since this was the Kroffts, the Bugaloos couldn't be just musical teenagers;

they had to be actual bugs, decked out in wings and antennae, who live in Tranquility Forest

and are constantly harassed by- wait for it- an evil witch by the name of Benita Bizarre,

who lives in a giant jukebox and has two anthropomorphic speakers named Woofer and Tweeter for henchmen.

The show took its musical aspects seriously and enlisted Norman Gimbel and Charles Fox,

writers of the hit song "Killing Me Softly With His Song", as well as TV Themes for Happy

Days, Laverne and Shirley and Wonder Woman.

An album was even released, which unfortunately peaked at #118 on the Billboard charts, and

the music is considered to be of high quality for a children's show

Like Pufnstuf, The Bugaloos only lasted one season, but both shows continued to be aired

throughout the 1970s, along with one other notable series which we'll get to in a little bit.

These series really constituted the warm-up act for the Krofft's virtual takeover of

Saturday mornings, which would last for two glorious years between 1976 and 1978 in the

form of The Krofft Supershow.

Electra Woman and Dyna Girl

Hosted by manufactured band Kaptain Kool and the Kongs, The Krofft Supershow was the brothers'

chance to throw all manner of crazy shit at the wall in order to see what stuck, and its

brief run gave us some of the most delightfully insane children's programming ever.

One of its first and most popular segments gave us the adventures of the most awesome

superhero team 1976 had to offer: Electra Woman and Dyna Girl.

Essentially an homage to or parody of Batman and Robin, depending on how you look at it,

Lori and Judy are two ordinary girls who moonlight as high tech, caped superheroes.

Each writes for a magazine, hiding the life she leads, which the ultra-funky theme song

helpfully informs us using those exact words, and they have an underground base beneath

their home which is permanently staffed by Frank.

Frank is just some guy who is somehow qualified to run the most powerful crime-solving computer

ever built.

How did he become qualified? I don't know.

How did Lori and Judy become superheroes? I don't know!

The show didn't explain, and we never asked.

Lots of comic mileage is gotten out of characters adding the "Electra-" or "Dyna-" prefix

to any word they possibly can.

Our heroes are summoned to Electra Base by Electra Coms they wear, which once again is

a verbatim quote from the theme song, and Dyna Girl in particular can't go thirty

seconds without declaring something "Electra-fantastic"

Electra-No Budget because this show had none of it!

That's right, this is another show from the 1970's that had low budget.

Very little special effects, and the special effects that were there made Bibleman look like it was produced by Michael Bay

Wonderbug

Debuting alongside the gender-flipped Caped Crusaders in 1976 was Wonderbug, which was

an obvious attempt to cash in on the Herbie the Love Bug series of films about a sentient VW Bug

Wonderbug was not an actual Bug, however; he looked more like a dune buggy.

Perhaps Wonderbuggy just sounded a little bit too stupid.

At any rate, the premise involves a group of teenagers- normal teenagers, not bugs-

discovering a broken down car in a junkyard.

When a magic horn is sounded, a magical and very cheap-looking transformation takes place,

and the car becomes Wonderbug- a talking vehicle that can drive itself, which actually doesn't

seem too impressive considering that it can also fly.

Every week, Wonderbug would help his teen friends catch criminals and villains and right wrongs.

The show never did capitalize on the potential creepy factor of a sentient talking car, but

its cheap special effects and silly premise were enough to keep kids entertained.

Dr. Shrinker

The final segment to debut during the first season of Krofft Supershow, and the one with

the most overtly scary elements, was Dr. Shrinker.

It's the tale of three teenagers- you may see a theme developing here- whose plane crash

lands on an island populated only by a mad scientist and his diminutive assistant, played

by veteran little actor Billy Barty, who appeared in a lot of the Krofft's work.

The mad scientist, Dr. Shrinker, was the inventor of a ray that could shrink anything down to

a tiny size.

It is unclear whether he adopted the name "Dr. Shrinker" after developing this technology,

or if that's his real name and he figured it was his destiny to create a shrink ray;

once again, the show didn't tell, we didn't ask.

Each episode's plot was virtually identical, as the good Doctor shrinks our heroes in the

first episode and spends the rest of the series trying to catch them in order to have proof

that his shrink ray works.

Why he couldn't just shrink something else is, again, not clear.

The Doctor himself even complains about this at one point, saying, "I chase the Shrinkies.

I catch the Shrinkies.

The Shrinkies escape.

It's a vicious cycle and it's driving me mad!

Yes, I am narrating this.

That's okay.

It's not like my career is already in the toilet..

Magic Mongo

Dr. Shrinker and Electra Woman and Dyna Girl were dropped at the beginning of Krofft Supershow's

second season, and replaced with two new segments.

The slightly less batshit of these two, Magic Mongo, is the story of three teenagers- no,

not the same three, just three more freakin' teenagers- who discover a magic bottle on

a beach.

Out of the bottle pops Mongo, a goofy looking genie in a Hawaiian shirt who can literally

manipulate reality and is bound to do the bidding of these three kids,

That kind of sounds like a horror movie.

Most who remember Magic Mongo do so because of the way the genie performed his magic-

by making a weird face and doing a strange thing with his ears that children found to

be either totally comical or really disturbing, depending on the child.

There was not a lot of variation in plot here either, with Mongo constantly bailing the

teens out of some problem by tweaking his ears and magically fixing it, which is probably

Bigfoot and Wildboy

Ah, Bigfoot and Wildboy.

The Supershow's other second season replacement series was, apparently, a serious stab at

a legitimate action.

Its splendidly ridiculous premise is best summed up by the show's epic opening narration:

"Out of the mountains of the great Northwest comes the legendary Bigfoot!

Who, eight years ago, saved a young child lost in the vast wilderness, and raised that

child until he grew up to be- Wildboy!"

For the love of Mike, where to begin.

Besides the jarring fact that Bigfoot and Wildboy both speak perfect English and the

bargain basement acting and props, the way that Bigfoot is shot while in action is consistent

and hilarious.

While running or jumping he is always in slow motion, with an obtrusive, winding-up sound

effect to let you know that he's actually going really fast; his Steve Austin-like super

jumps are obviously being made by a terrified stuntman whose tennis shoes can be plainly

seen in some shots.

Its ridiculous premise wasn't wasn't necessarily out of place on The Krofft Supershow, but

in 1979 Bigfoot and Wildboy was actually picked up to series by ABC and aired twelve of its

own 30 minute episodes.

And as the 70s came to a close, so did the

Krofft brother's peculiar brand of Saturday morning craziness.

You may have noticed, however, that we still have one entry left.

(TCR spews some nonsense lol)

Lidsville

In 1973 and 74, the Kroffts produced Sigmund and the Sea Monsters and Land of the Lost,

two shows that are weird as hell in their own right but are much more well known than

those on our list.

But in between these and their earlier successes, they tweaked and refined their H.R. Pufnstuf

formula to arrive at perhaps the pinnacle of their supposedly not-drug-addled madness,

Lidsville.

Like Pufnstuf, Lidsville has a feature-length theme song that explains its premise in excruciating

detail.

After seeing a magic show, a boy named Mark falls into the magician's hat and into a

world of psychotic puppets and talking hats- hence, Lidsville.

Also like Pufnstuf, Mark spends the entire series trying to get home, though there is

a distinct final episode in which he decidedly does not, which is unsettling in itself.

The evil magician terrorizes the poor hats, zapping them with bolts of magic and demanding

that they pay hat checks, and we'd like to reiterate that Marty Krofft himself once

said, quote: "No drugs involved.

You can't do drugs when you're making shows.

Maybe after, but not during.

We're bizarre, that's all."

Maybe after, but not during.

Right.

Here's an interesting but of 1970s trivia:in the early part of that decade, an ounce of

marijuana was sometimes measured by filling a shoebox lid, in the absence of a scale.

Therefore, an ounce was often informally referred to as a "lid".

We'll let you draw your own conclusions as to what that might say about the Krofft brothers.

Yoenis Cespedes, who feels 'sense of calm' with four-year deal, saving flash for the field this M... - Duration: 3:46.

PORT ST. LUCIE — There was no three-wheeler or Lamborghini on Saturday. Yoenis Cespedes did not "arrive" at camp wearing a cowboy hat or riding a horse.

In fact, the Mets slugger has been around here most of the winter, working with the team's strength and conditioning program, quietly slipping in and out of the clubhouse for the past week as pitchers and catchers worked out.

Cespedes seems to be saving the flash for the field this year. Saturday morning, Cespedes shrugged off what had become his spring training car show in the parking lot last year and talked about embracing the calm and tranquility that came with his new four-year, $110 million deal.

"Yes, having that really gives me a sense of calm," Cespedes said through Mets translator Melissa Rodriguez. "Knowing I am no longer year-to-year and my home is here with the Mets for the next four years, I am able to prepare and focus better."

And that is what Cespedes has been doing as he slipped in and out of the complex in his — albeit oversized — white pickup truck, the last couple of months. He spent time working out at the team-approved Mike Barwis training facility, trimming down and strengthening his legs.

"This offseason we focused a lot on my legs, we did a lot of leg work, just to make sure they are as strong as they can be and stay healthy."

Even with a nagging right-quad strain last season, Cespedes showed he was a force of nature. He hit 31 home runs, drove in 86 runs, hitting .280.

"He is a special player," Asdrubal Cabrera said. "He changes a lineup. He has so much talent.

And people don't realize, but he works hard.

He works hard for his team."

22 photos view gallery

The Yoenis Cespedes Car Show

Working with hitting coach Kevin Long has made Cespedes an even more dangerous hitter.

Last season they focused on refining his strike zone, Cespedes drew a career-high 51 walks and struck out 108 times in 479 at-bats, a career-low rate.

"We work on some exercises in the cage, I wouldn't really be able to explain , but … the way we work at it, I am able to memorize the strike zone, where he is pitching a little bit better," Cespedes said. "That's what helped me."

And that helped the Mets when he was on the field.

Cespedes spent time on the disabled list with the right quad strain, but he was clearly limited while playing for a large chunk of the season with the discomfort. After playing center last season, the Mets have said Cespedes will only play in left field this season to try and minimize the wear and tear on his legs.

That is where he is comfortable playing defensively — he won a Gold Glove there for his defense with the Tigers in 2015. Cespedes also understands how crucial it is for him and the Mets to stay healthy this year. He sees the potential of this team, which has a small window to win now.

Last spring training, Yoenis Cespedes comes in with his Lamborghini.

(Howard Simmons/New York Daily News)

"I don't think it's a sense of urgency. This is however, what every ball player ultimately wants to get, is that World Series ring," Cespedes said. "I think as long as we stay healthy with this team, we have a really great chance of achieving that."

And that is seemingly what Cespedes is focused on this spring. Cespedes said that the parking lot car show never took his focus off the job at hand.

"I don't think my focus was ever not on baseball. Last year with the cars, that was just something off the field. I think the second I was on that field, my focus was on baseball and it will continue to be," Cespedes said.

"Last year that just sort of happened, because it happened.

I didn't really plan that."

When asked if there would be any farm animals would be making an appearance the complex this spring, Cespedes laughed.

"I do have more horses than last year," he said, his smile growing, "but not here. At my ranch."

After checking in with teammates and talking to reporters, Cespedes left the complex in his relatively regular pickup truck to the disappointment of camera-phone wielding fans and some reporters.

Reviews

The cost of these headphones is $2.71.

From the seller 8 colors available.

Depending on the option, not only changes the color of the cord and ear cushions,

plug, headset, and case.

We stayed on pure white.

Headphones are not the simple appearance and look quite stylish.

It is evident the Chinese have decided not to be creative, and just stole the design.

Plug is standard 3.5 mm.

To connect to the cord in a straight line, covered with rubber, perforated at the top.

The cord is flat, not too thin so should not quickly tear or break.

Headset with button and microphone.

At the same time serves as a transition from the two headphone cords to one whole.

Depending on the smartphone model or type of device - the button can perform various functions.

One of the advantages of headphones Langsdom is the presence of removable "crocodile" that rotates 360 degrees.

Themselves wireless headphones with a plastic housing.

Sitting comfortably in the ears and do not fall out during active movements.

Ear pads, they are the same nozzles, rubber.

5 Ways to Stay Healthy After Breast Cancer - Duration: 2:30.

A cancer diagnosis represents a teachable moment," says Julia Rowland, PhD, director

of the National Cancer Institute's Office of Cancer Survivorship.

"It gives you a chance to make lifestyle changes that can benefit your general health and cancer

status.

You don't need a gym membership to benefit from exercise.

The American Cancer Society recommends that survivors get at least 30 minutes of moderate

activity five or more days a week.

What you do is up to you (and your doctor), but the main point is to get your heart rate

up.

Exercise can also improve mood and sleep, reduce stress, control weight gain, boost

self-esteem, and protect against other killers, especially heart disease and diabetes.

You can still get this disease if you don't smoke or drink and you eat a low-fat diet.

But some studies draw a link between breast cancer and the same poor lifestyle habits

that encourage heart disease and diabetes.

Research has shown that being overweight or obese (especially if you're past menopause)

increases your risk of breast cancer, especially if you put

on the weight as an adult.

Set up a schedule of regular visits to your doctor.

Each year without a recurrence marks an important drop in your risk, and five years out is a

big milestone.

Still, recurrences can occur 20 or even 25 years after a first bout with breast cancer,

so experts say you'll need to continue screenings.

Though the scientific verdict is still out on whether attitude affects outcomes, seeking

out people and activities that you enjoy can give you a sense of purpose and meaning.

Making a list of pros and cons in your life can help if the blues are clouding your perspective.

Trump I'm Not Being Tough On Russia Because I Want to Make A Deal - Duration: 4:05.

Trump Im Not Being Tough On Russia Because I Want to Make A Deal.

BY KEVIN BARON.

The president, who joked about sinking Moscows spy ship off the Atlantic coast, didnt

say what kind of deal he wants.

President Donald Trump joked that he might order the U.S. military to sink the Russian

spy ship traveling south off the Atlantic coast, then later said he wouldnt, and

then said he hoped he would not have to retaliate in any form.

Whatever option he chooses, he said, he wont announce it ahead of time.

The greatest thing I could do is shoot that ship thats 30 miles offshore right

out of the water, Trump told reporters in a Thursday press conference.

He was responding to questions about his administrations relations with Russia and to allegations that

he had so far responded weakly to evidence of Moscows interference in American politics.

Everyone in this countrys going to say, Oh, its so great. Thats not great.

Thats not great.

I would love to be able to get along with Russia.

Trump was referring to the Russian intelligence ship Viktor Leonov, spotted by the U.S. Navy

some 30 miles off the coast of Connecticut, as Fox News first reported Wednesday.

Its likely interest was the U.S. submarine base at Groton.

On Thursday morning, Pentagon officials said the ship was traveling south past Atlantic

Fleet headquarters in Norfolk, Va.

The Russian ships presence is the latest in a series of military provocations by President

Vladimir Putin since the new year.

Trump said he did not think Putin was testing him.

No, I dont think so.

I think Putin probably assumes that he cant make a deal with me anymore because politically

it would be unpopular for a politician to make a deal, Trump said.

Because, look, it would be much easier for me to be tough on Russia, but then were

not going to make a deal.

Trump did not specify what such a deal might be about.

His administration reportedly is interested in renegotiating U.S. sanctions on Russia.

The president declined to say what, if anything, he planned to do about the spy ship, echoing

a declaration on the 2016 campaign trail that he would not have announced in advance the

U.S.-led coalitions invasion of Mosul.

Im not going to tell you anything about what response I do.

I dont talk about military response, Trump said.

I dont say Im going into Mosul in four months.

We are going to attack Mosul in four months. Then three months later, We are going to

attack Mosul in one month. Next week, we are going to attack Mosul.

In the meantime, Mosul is very, very difficult.

Do you know why?

Because I dont talk about military, and I dont talk about certain other things.

Youre going to be surprised to hear that.

And by the way, my whole campaign, Id say that.

So I dont have to tell you.

I dont want to be one of these guys that say, Yes, heres what were going to

do. I dont have to do that.

I dont have to tell you what Im going to do in North Korea.

Wait a minute, Trump continued, as a reporter tried to ask a follow-up question.

I dont have to tell you what Im going to do in North Korea.

And I dont have to tell you what Im going to do with Iran.

You know why?

Because they shouldnt know.

And eventually, you guys are going to get tired of asking that question.

So when you ask me what am I going to do with a ship, the Russian ship as an example, Im

not going to tell you.

But hopefully, I wont have to do anything, but Im not going to tell you.

Supernatural In 5 Minutes | (Season 1) - Duration: 4:47.

*pop*

woot

*video game starting sound*

Ok so I wrote this in such a way that fans & non fans could enjoy it, even though there

are some SPOILERS.

But despite that fact, I provided little to no context as to what is going on so even

noobs can go back, watch season 1, and thoroughly enjoy themselves.

Now that, that is out of the way, let's go.

Season one starts with a happy family but then a dark figure is like IM TAKIN YO BABY

and the mom is like NO but then she's on fire on the ceiling and everybody is sad.

Then flash forward 22 years and the baby in the beginning is a cute college boy with a

hot girlfriend but then the older kid from the beginning is there too and he's like

"Hey buddy, it's been awhile.

Also I love the smurfs." and then Sam is like stfu Dean.

but Dean is like "hey girlfriend you should leave" and Sam is like "uh, you can say

it in front of her thanks" Deans like well, ok fine.

Dad has been on a hunting trip and Sam is like…"girlfriend, you should leave."

Dean is like "dad, who hunts supernatural things, has gone missing while hunting a supernatural

thing.

So like help" and Sam is like, "fine but I have college on monday" and dean is like "ugh

whatevs."

So then they go and there's a ghost woman who's like sexy time? and then her victims

are like yeah but then she's like "BOOM!"

TRICKED YOU BITCH!

YOU'RE EATEN"

And sam and dean stop her but still no dad.

So sam like, I have college on monday I need to go back.

But Dean is like but "Saving people hunting things the family business!"

And sam is like, "Aint nobody got time for that"

So then he goes home to go to college but then his girlfriend is DEAD ON THE CEILING

LIKE HIS MOM!! and he's like nvm Dean, we're totes hunting things.

So they do.

like ghosts and forest monsters.

but then there's a DEMON airplane flight and they're like we don't really do demons

though... but then, so they do it anyway.

The demon is like teehee your girlfriend sam and sam is like oh yeah?

Well...how did you know that?

But then theres a lot of bugs and ew.

Then Sam is like (singing) thats so raven (singing) I HAD A VISION.

We need to go to our old house where mom died because visions and Dean is like but I don't

wanna because feels and Sam is like WE MUST.

So then they go and they see their moms ghost & dean cries like a disney princess and they

leave but then

DAD HAS BEEN ALIVE AND HE'S BEEN WATCHING THIS WHOLE TIME?!

Then dad calls them like Im ok, I'm just a really bad father.

Let me do me and you do the saving people and hunt things because family business and

Sam is like NO WE MUST FIND DAD and Dean is like we should listen because I need dad to

love me.

But sam is like bye looser and meets a girl named meg.

So dean goes to town where a scarecrow really loves apples and dean is like I hope the apple

pie was freaking worth it and almost dies but then SAM IS THERE and its ok because Sam

had some self reflection and was like i miss you and dean was like oh my god, I missed

you too.

but you guys remember meg?

*gasp* she does bad things.

Then Sam is like you need jesus and dean was like No.

And the have Jesus time but it wasn't jesus it was a reaper but then it was maybe jesus

but either way dean didn't like it.

Then a white supremacist ghost who only kills black people, like deans ex gf's dad and

dean is like I'm sorry for your loss but bow chicka wow wow!!

Then Sam has more visions and finds another psychic buddy except for this psychic buddy

kills people but his mom also died in a fire on the ceiling.

WHAT A COINSIDENCE.

Sam like did we just become best friends? but then the kid is like no and he dies.

But then you guys remember Meg?

She tricks them because she's evil and works for the yellow eyed demon who killed their

mom and they're like CAUGHT YOU and she gets thrown out the window.

Then John is there after like I was gonna save you! but then, wait, she isn't dead,

megan suprise!

Dean is like, we can't hunt together its dangerous so john is like, bye bitches.

And then some old guy has a magic gun and vampires happen then they get the magic gun.

And they run into *ba ba ba baaa* John. Because he knew the old guy.

And John is like, the car is gross dean.

I wouldn't have given it to you if you were going to ruin it. and Dean gets sad bc no

one loves that car as much as he does and ALL HE WANTS IS HIS DADS APPROVAL.

They kill the vamps and get the magic gun then their like YAY FAMILY HUNT TIMES.

Meg keeps killing people and john is like STHAP she's like, give me the magic gun

and he's like no.

And she's like oops your other friend is dead. and john is like fine. and Sam and dean

are like NO! but john is like its fine, ill give her a fake.

Go save some babies.

So the do and try to catch the yellow eyed demon but it's a slippery fish and sam is

sad because he finds out that his mom and his girlfriend died all because the yellow

eyed demon needed to make sam psychic for demon reasons.

And sam is like ANGST and dean is like YOU'RE NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH ANGST SAM, DAD DOESN'T

LOVE ME.

but then John's plan fails and he's taken and Sam and Dean are like AHHH

So they go to an old family friends house and they're like BOBBY HELP.

And he's like devils traps are a thing, idjits.

So they capture meg in a devils trap and she's like your dad is dead and then they exorcise

meg and then the human she was wearing is like your dad is ok bleh and dies and it's

sad.

Then the boys find john and save him but then john is actually possessed by the yellow eyed

demon and and john is like like I'm proud of you son and dean is like MY FATHER DOESN'T

SAY NICE THINGS YOU IMPOSTER and the demon is like, wow thats really sad for you.

And the sam is like I HAVE THE MAGIC GUN IM GONNA KILL THE DEMON, BUT IT IS ALSO GONNA

KILL DAD.

Then he chickens out and only shoots him in the leg and john takes back over and is like,

its ok, kill me.

Dont worry about it.

And dean is like NO and sam is like AH and then the demon escapes and they go for a drive

but SEMI TRUCK

and that's the end of season one.

Trump's Wall Will Have Unintended Consequnce - Duration: 5:13.

THE ATLANTIC HAD AN INTERESTING HYPOTHESIS IN REGARD TO DONALD

TRUMP'S WALL ALONG THE MEXICAN BORDER, AND HOW THERE COULD BE

SOME UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES THAT MAY BE THE TRUMP

ADMINISTRATION HASN'T THOUGHT ABOUT.

NO!

THEY COULD ACTUALLY LEAD TO LESS PEOPLE ACTUALLY LEAVING THE

UNITED STATES.

IT STARTS OUT WITH THIS PREMISE THAT SAYS, IT TURNS OUT THAT

DATA INDICATES THAT MORE IMMIGRANTS ARE LEAVING THE

COUNTRY THEN COMING IN, SO NET IMMIGRATION FROM MEXICO IS

ACTUALLY AT AN ALL-TIME LOW.

BUT, IF YOU BUILD THIS WALL, PEOPLE WHO MIGHT HAVE OTHERWISE

LEFT WON'T LEAVE BECAUSE IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO COME BACK TO THE

U.S.

THIS IS AN INTERESTING THEORY AND I WANT TO HASH IT OUT A BIT.

PRIOR TO 1986,

IT WAS ACTUALLY A FAIRLY POROUS BORDER, EASY TO COME IN AND

OUT, SO A LOT OF UNDER ñ A LOT OF UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS,

MEANT TO BE SPECIFIC, WOULD COME TO THE UNITED STATES, WORK

FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, AND THEN GO BACK TO THEIR FAMILIES.

AND THEN THINGS CHANGED UNDER THE REAGAN ADMINISTRATION.

THE INCREASING ñ THE INCREASED FOURTH EDITION OF THE

BORDER AFTER 1986 ALSO ALTERED THE DEMOGRAPHICS OF MIGRATION.

ONCE MEN REALIZED THEY WOULD SETTLE IN THE UNITED STATES

BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT GO BACK AND FORTH, ENCOURAGE THEIR WIVES

AND CHILDREN TO HEAD NORTH WITH THEM.

SO, INCREDIBLY, REAGAN'S TOUGH STANCE ON IMMIGRATION LED

TO MORE UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS IN THE COUNTRY.

YES, AND WE HAVE THIS VIEW OF REAGAN AS A TOTAL

RIGHT-WINGER, AND HE WAS IN MANY RESPECTS.

BUT REMEMBER, HIS STANCE ON INNOVATION WAS NOT THAT

TOUGH, HE'S THE GUY THAT DID AMNESTY.

NOT PRETEND AMNESTY, ACTUAL AMNESTY FOR EVERY

UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANT IN THE COUNTRY AT THE TIME.

BY TODAY'S STANDARDS, THEY WOULD CONSIDER THAT SO LIBERAL.

FAST-FORWARD ñ FAST-FORWARD TO 2008, AFTER THE RECESSION

HITS, ONE MEXICAN STARTED RETURNING TO FROM THE

UNITED STATES THEN THOSE WHO WERE CROSSING THE BORDER NORTH.

THE SLOW RECOVERY OF THE ECONOMY AFTER 2008 AND THE DISC ñ

AND THE DECREASING NUMBER OF JOBS AVAILABLE TO

IMMIGRANTS MADE UNITED STATES LESS ATTRACTIVE.

SO, NOW THERE MIGHT BE PEOPLE WHO FELT LIKE MAYBE IT'S A GOOD

IDEA TO LEAVE, BUT THEY REALIZE, MAYBE I SHOULD SIT IT OUT,

BECAUSE IF IT'S GOING TO BE REALLY DIFFICULT TO COME BACK

INTO THE COUNTRY, I'M JUST WANT TO RISK IT BY STAYING HERE AND

NOT LEAVING, AND WE'LL SEE WHAT HAPPENS AS THE ECONOMY IMPROVES.

AND IT HAS BEEN IMPROVING.

I THINK IT'S AN INTERESTING THEORY, BUT WHAT I TAKE AWAY

FROM THIS STORY, THERE CURRENTLY NO ONE ELSE TAKES AWAY IN

THE MEDIA, IS THAT MORE MEXICANS ARE LEAVING THIS COUNTRY.

WHY WOULD WE SPEND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS ON A BORDER WALL

THAT IS A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY?

ALSO, TUNNELS.

I WANTED TO GIVE YOU CREDIT HERE, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO HAS

BEEN POUNDING THE DRUM ON THIS ISSUE, SAYING THAT THEY ARE

LEAVING!

IF YOU BUILD A WALL THEY WON'T BE ABLE TO LEAVE! AND ANA SAID

THIS A LONG TIME AGO, NOT ONLY ON THIS SHOW, BUT ON CNN AS

WELL, AND EVERY TIME SHE SAYS IT THEY GO, I DID NOT KNOW THAT.

THERE'S MULTIPLE LAYERS TO THIS.

ONE IS THAT IF THE WALL GETS BUILT, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO

LEAVE, SO MAYBE THEY SHOULD STAY.

THE SECOND PART IS IF THE WALL ACTUALLY GETS BUILT.

THEY DOUBLED WON'T GET THERE, BECAUSE TRUMP IS INCOMPETENT,

BUT IF THEY DID, THEN THEY WOULD LITERALLY BE TRAPPED.

I READ A STORY JUST IN PASSING, HAVE THE DETAILS, THAT

THERE WAS AN IMMIGRANT CENTER IN CANADA THAT HAD TO

TEMPORARILY STOP BECAUSE THERE WAS TOO MANY IMMIGRANTS

COMING IN FROM AMERICA.

WOW.

OKAY?

SO, PEOPLE ARE FLEEING IN ALL DIRECTIONS.

AND SO, IF YOU BUILD A WALL, THE MEXICANS CAN'T GET OUT.

WRITE, NOW SOME MIGHT ARGUE, NO, THEY'RE NOT GOING TO GIVE

THEM A TOUGH TIME IF THEY ARE TRYING TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY.

BUT REMEMBER, TRUMP BELIEVES IN DETAINING THESE INDIVIDUALS

IN DETENTION CENTERS, GIVING THEM ESSENTIALLY A PRISON

SENTENCE BEFORE DEPORTING THEM.

AND IF YOU ARE THINKING, HE WANTS TO GET THEM OUT OF

THE COUNTRY, WHY WOULD HE KEEP THEM HERE?

BECAUSE THEY ARE PRIVATE PRISONS, AND THEY MAKE A BUCK

OFF OF IT COMES ABOUT THE SITUATION GOING ON HERE.

SO, THIS WILL PLAY OUT IN MULTIPLE DIFFERENT

DIRECTIONS, BUT RIGHT NOW, BEFORE THE WALL IS BEING BUILT,

A LOT OF THEM OF COURSE WANT TO STAY, AND THEY ARE STAYING PUT

BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO LEAVE AND NOT BE ABLE TO COME BACK.

SO, YES, COUNTERINTUITIVE AND THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT TRUMP

SUPPORTERS WANTED, WHERE NOW UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS ARE

BEING SURE THAT THEY STAY.

I AM THAT GIRL: New Guests (UCR Edition) - Duration: 9:27.

You guys are such good sports I love it!

Hi friends it's DC and welcome to Cadella!

So as you can see something is weird

on set, my pillows are floating but that's

because I have two guests on set. But before

you reveal yourselves, if at any point you

like this video then what are you doing

with yourself like it! And if at any point you love

this video then please please subscribe

because you're awesome and I'm awesome

and these ladies are awesome! So without

further ado, two guests.

its Esther and Scarlett!

So these two ladies are the President and the Vice

President and also cofounders of the UC

Riverside chapter of I am that girl

before we get to what that is and all of

the information that they have for us

we're going to do the 15-second bio as

usual and ready Esther go!

Esther: Hi my name is Esther. I am the founder of I AM THAT GIRL.

I like to go hiking.

I don't know why Scarlett does CrossFit.

I have an app that's called Sweat and

like to workout. DC: Cool and why are you

a bad ass. Esther: I'm a bad ass because I love pizza and I

can eat pizza all by myself. DC: Ready Scarlett go!

Scarlett: OK, my name is Scarlett I'm 21 years old and

go to UCR, like she said

I am a business major, I have, I love lions

they're my favorite um I can wiggle my

ears. DC: Oh my go wait, pause. Do it!

Scarlett: Wait now I have to like focus. Esther: Can you really wiggle your ears?

Scarlett: Yeah, I can wiggle my ears why would I say that

if I couldn't wiggle my ears.

ohhhhhh amazing! Oh my god!

DC: Alright Scarlett why are you a bad ass? Scarlett: Ok, I am a badass

because I started crossfit this week.

DC: and I'm a badass because I have these

awesome ladies on my channel and we're

gonna talk about I AM THAT GIRL, so yay

Esther: yay. Scarlett: yay.

DC: So do you guys want to

tell our audience what I AM THAT GIRL is

and what it's all about?

Esther: Ok so I'm that girl is a nonprofit

organization and it's basically aimed at

making sure that women build each other

up and start believing in themselves so

we're really trying to target a younger

women and also women in college just so

that they know that they are special and that

there are women that can't that have

gone through the same experiences and can to relate

to what they're currently going through

and have gone through. And then also just

talk about you know, world topics

related to women in society.

Scarlett: Yeah just in general I AM THAT GIRL is

about embracing self-love and shifting

girl culture. That's like the best version

summarized version. yeah

DC: So why did you guys start UCR's chapter

of I AM THAT GIRL?

Scarlett: So basically, how we started is um, one

of the Founders of I AM THAT GIRL came to speak

to one of our other organizations on

campus and she just came and she was like the

one of the greatest spirits that I've

ever seen in my life. Esther: So spunky.

Scarlett: Yeah so spunky need she came to speak to us

uh just uh it was very easy to

understand everything that she was

discussing. Understanding like how

sometimes girls like her head on with

each other when that's not really what

we need to do to help raise each other up.

DC: just being catty? Scarlett: Yeah just like

catty and like when it's just kind of

like why like because if we're all in

this together it makes it a lot easier.

Um, but yeah, so that was kind of just

where like the spark ignited. Esther: So Emily

came into our meeting and she was really

great

She really did inspire me to you know go

out and like figure out how to establish

I AM THAT GIRL on campus and luckily like

Scarlett was on board with me. So,

we had a retreat for our other organization

and we kind of had an activity that

I AM THAT GIRL normally has during this

retreat and it basically just solidified

my decision to start on I AM THAT GIRL on

campus because it really was the first

place

I swear i realized that i could be

myself and let these women know who I

really was and just found myself within

just that activity and I want to help

other women find themselves and feel

like they can you know connect with

others as well. And that's why I started

I AM THAT GIRL with Scarlett.

Scarlett: Yeah and then just kind of piggybacking

off of that of that same event that

she's talking about. One of the things

that like blew my mind like more than

anything was that other girls were

saying things that I thought in my head

every single day

but I was like "Scarlett you're so crazy for

like thinking this," and then like another

girl says it and it completely like

shiftss you're in like your view of

yourself and your view of others. And so

that was another thing that I AM THAT GIRL

really opens up because it creates such

a safe space, where like you're willing to

say those things out loud and like you

don't even know what comfort that you're

giving others because they're thinking

and feeling the same things that you are.

DC: Yeah, so what they've done is they've

brought this community to campus and we've

had, what three meetings so far? Both: yes

DC: Pretty much every meeting you come in

and just be like I want to be vulnerable

with you guys and it really creates this

awesome community because like Scarlett

was saying you know you can go through

your life thinking like oh like I'm

alone. I'm alone yeah. I'm the only one

who thinks this way but you know one of

the great things about the human

experience is that we all think the same

types of things or in the same kind of

ways and being able to find those people

and connect to those people makes you like

"whoo,

ok. I'm fine. Everything's fine"

Esther: Everything's okay. But like at that moment you

really don't feel like anyone else is

going through what you're going through

and you really do feel alone and like

that's what I love about I AM THAT GIRL.

DC: I AM THAT GIRL brings some really cool stuff into

the meeting such as like heart claps but they

also set you guys up was some kind of

curriculum right? So you guys dont just come in

and your like. You know what you are talking about right?

Esther: Yeah so I AM THAT GIRL like they sent us

and a curriculum basically with like

questions that list of topics of what we

could possibly talk about during our

meetings. And it's like auh, the past three

meetings and one of them was

independence, the other one was body image.

Scarlett: Being the yousest you.

DC: oh yeah! Esther: So basically you loving yourself and

I what it means to be happy. And

Independence, you know making sure you're

not completely relying on someone else

being okay with being on your own and

body image which you know being

comfortable with yourself and how

society really kind of manipulates the

way you see yourself and the way that

you try to change yourself. So like

they're really great topics. Scarlett: what's

really cool about the curriculum is that

it's very much like a flow like if we're

talking about independence and then that

ends up leading into like some other

side topic like like independently

eating a whole pizza by yourself.

It's not like we're like "okay that

wasn't the question." Like it's open for

us to kind of discuss whatever comes up,

whatever resonates then it leads us to

having a lot of really great takeaways

to help us live our lives better from that day on.

DC: And it's cool because of the environment

that were in. And you know the curriculum

lets the members who are like "what is

happening?" you know ya be like okay well

I have this question wher I can talk about

something and if I choose or I can go on

to something else but, and mannequin

challenge. I AM THAT GIRL is a real crowd pleaser.

So that is pretty much the fastest

version that we could explain of I AM

THAT GIRL. So if you want to get involved...

Esther: If you're interested we have meetings every

Wednesday in Sproul 1358 from 7:30 to 8:30pm.

We would love to see you visit. Scarlett: and if

you don't go to UCR or if you are not in

the area then you can go onto the I AM

THAT GIRL website and find chapters

closer to you.

They have like this map, they're all over

the country. You can click it find out

where you can find one because they have

my colleges and high schools and just

local chapters everywhere. DC: you're like a

rapper now. Esther: Join I AM THAT GIRL.

DC: I will put all the stuff in the

description below so leave a comment and

let us know what you thought about this

video. And if you liked it then what should i

they do ladies? Both: like it! DC: and if they loved it

they should? Both: subscribe. All: and as always

my beautiful friends STAY

WILD MOON CHILD! DC: That excitement in that outro, I loved it!

Grilled Chicken Taco Recipe with Avocado Cilantro Dressing - Duration: 5:21.

These grilled chicken tacos with creamy avocado cilantro dressing are the perfect light meal,

packed with flavour and freshness but easy to make.

To make these tacos start with marinating the chicken.

Of course you can change it up if you would like and use a different type of meat, fish

and beef work really well here.

I'm using 2 skinless and boneless chicken breast which will be enough to feed 4 people

or make about 8 tacos.

Start by placing the chicken in between a sheet of non-stick cooking paper and using

a heavy object like a rolling pin to pound out the chicken.

Focus on the thicker side, you want to thin it out so the chicken will cook as evenly

as possible.

If you would like the full recipe for these Grilled chicken tacos with cilantro avocado

dressing a printable version will be on my website, as well as the full measurements

listed below.

Use a knife to slice the chicken into strips around the same size and place into a medium

sized bowl.

To the chicken add a drizzle of oil, and a teaspoon of each paprika, chilli powder, cumin

and garlic powder, followed by the juice of half a lime.

If you're not a fan of spicy food try only using half the amount of chilli powder.

I don't find the chicken too hot, the creaminess of the dressing really calms it down.

Use tongs to toss the chicken in the marinade until it is well coated and set to the side.

You can leave the chicken to marinate anywhere from 10 minutes to overnight depending on

how much time you have.

You do get a better flavour the longer you leave it but it's still really good if you

cook it straight away.

While the chicken is marinating get started on the dressing.

This dressing is light but also extremely creamy and flavourful.

The secret is basically a whole avocado.

Cut it in half, remove the pip and scoop it out into a mini food processor.

If you don't have a food processor a blender will work or if you really want to you can

make this in a bowl, just mash and finely chop the ingredients.

Avocado is one of my favourite ingredients to use in dressings or sauces, they're extremely

creamy but much better for you than cream.

To the avocado add a handful of cilantro or coriander, same thing just different names.

You want to add the leaves as well as the stalks, you'll find most of the flavour

is actually in the stalks but it's the part that most people throw away.

Add the juice of a lime for some tang, about half a cup of yoghurt or sour cream and a

pinch of salt.

Place the lid on the processor and process the dressing until everything is combined.

Take a look at the consistency of your dressing, add a small amount more yoghurt if you would

like it thinner.

To cook the chicken you can do this on an outside grill or bbq, in the oven or on a

griddle pan.

A griddle pan is my favourite as you get the char lines on the meat.

Don't worry about oiling the grill as the marinade already has oil in it.

Once the grill is hot add the chicken and leave to cook for about 3-4 minutes each side.

While the chicken is cooking shred up some green and purple cabbage to go in the tacos.

I like them incredibly simple so that is all I'm adding but you could add anything else

you would like, fresh tomato works well.

Check the chicken, if you can see the dark grill marks, turn and cook on the other side

for about 4 minutes.

Prepare your tortillas according to packet directions, you can use corn or flour.

I like to do it over a naked flame but the oven works just as well.

Fill the tacos with the cabbage, add a few pieces of chicken and drizzle over the avocado

and cilantro dressing.

Lasts add a few coriander leaves and a squeeze of lime.

These tacos are incredibly light, fresh and flavourful.

Let me know if you try the recipe, I would love to see a picture.

Thank you for watching, I'll see you in my next video.

Bye.

Now It Is The Elite That Are Feverishly 'Prepping' For The Collapse Of Society - Duration: 12:57.

Now It Is The Elite That Are Feverishly Prepping For The Collapse Of Society

by MICHAEL SNYDER

The Elite That Are Feverishly Prepping For The Collapse

Once upon a time, prepping was something that was considered to be on the lunatic

fringe of society.

But in 2017, wealthy elitists are actually the most hardcore preppers of all.

This is particularly true in places such as Silicon Valley, where a whole host of young

tech moguls are putting a tremendous amount of time, effort and money into preparing for

apocalyptic scenarios.

So while interest in prepping among the general population has fallen extremely low right

now, the election of Donald Trump has given liberal wealthy elitists even more urgency

to prepare for what they believe is a very uncertain future.

In the January 30th, 2017 edition of the New Yorker, reporter Evan Osnos has done an extraordinary

job of profiling these wealthy elitists that are getting ready for the crackup of civilization.

One of the people that he interviewed was Steve Huffman, the young co-founder and CEO

of Reddit

Huffman, who lives in San Francisco, has large blue eyes, thick, sandy hair, and an air of

restless curiosity; at the University of Virginia, he was a competitive ballroom dancer, who

hacked his roommates Web site as a prank.

He is less focussed on a specific threata quake on the San Andreas, a pandemic, a dirty

bombthan he is on the aftermath, the temporary collapse of our government and structures,

as he puts it.

I own a couple of motorcycles.

I have a bunch of guns and ammo.

Food.

I figure that, with that, I can hole up in my house for some amount of time.

According to the article, Huffman estimates that fifty-plus percent of his elite

friends in Silicon Valley have some form of apocalypse insurance.

Needless to say, that number would be far higher than for the general population as

a whole.

Another tech mogul that was interviewed by Osnos for the story was former Facebook product

manager Antonio Garca Martnez

Last spring, as the Presidential campaign exposed increasingly toxic divisions in America,

Antonio Garca Martnez, a forty-year-old former Facebook product manager living in

San Francisco, bought five wooded acres on an island in the Pacific Northwest and brought

in generators, solar panels, and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

When society loses a healthy founding myth, it descends into chaos, he told me.

The author of Chaos Monkeys, an acerbic Silicon Valley memoir, Garca Martnez

wanted a refuge that would be far from cities but not entirely isolated.

All these dudes think that one guy alone could somehow withstand the roving mob,

he said.

No, youre going to need to form a local militia.

You just need so many things to actually ride out the apocalypse. Once he started telling

peers in the Bay Area about his little island project, they came out of the

woodwork to describe their own preparations, he said.

I think people who are particularly attuned to the levers by which society actually works

understand that we are skating on really thin cultural ice right now.

As you can see, a lot of these liberal elitists are actually secretly stashing away lots of

guns and ammunition.

So dont believe everything that you read about them being anti-gun.

Other big names in Silicon Valley have decided that having a property on the other side of

the planet is the best form of apocalypse insurance.

The following comes from a story about Paypal founder Peter Thiel in the New York Times

Mr. Thiels admiration for New Zealand is longstanding.

Utopia, he once called it.

He has an investment firm in the country that has put millions into local start-ups.

He also owns lavish properties there, which his Silicon Valley friends hope to fly to

in the event of a worldwide pandemic.

And of course Thiel is far from alone.

So many wealthy individuals are buying up property in New Zealand these days that it

is actually becoming a significant political issue over there.

In fact, it is being reported that foreigners purchased an astounding 3500 square kilometers

during the first ten months of 2016

Statistics showed foreigners had bought over 3500 square kilometers of New Zealand in the

first ten months of 2016, which is over four times as much as they did in the same period

in 2010.

LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman told The New Yorker that New Zealand had become the

hot topic among Silicon Valley leaders lately.

Saying youre buying a house in New Zealand is kind of a wink, wink, say no

more.

Once youve done the Masonic handshake, theyll be, like, Oh, you know, I have

a broker who sells old ICBM silos, and theyre nuclear-hardened, and they kind of look like

they would be interesting to live in.

Hoffman estimated that over half of the Silicon Valley insiders were into preparedness especially

since anti-elite sentiment has risen around the globe in recent years.

It was intensified by events like Brexit and the election of Donald Trump, he added.

So are these wealthy elitists ahead of the curve, or are they just being paranoid?

Only time will tell, but they didnt become exceedingly wealthy in the first place by

being stupid.

As I discussed yesterday on The Most Important News, there are certainly reasons to be optimistic

now that Donald Trump has become president, but there are also lots of reasons to be prepping

harder than ever.

We should be hopeful for the future and working for a better tomorrow, but we also need to

understand that we live in a world that is becoming increasingly unstable.

And most of us think that it is just common sense to purchase insurance for our homes,

our cars, our health, our lives and so many other things, and yet most of the population

is completely unprepared for a major catastrophic event.

It is a good thing to have balance in life.

My wife and I are very proud preppers, and there wont ever be a time when we arent

prepping.

But we also live our lives without any fear.

We know that the world is going to get crazier and crazier, but we do not believe that it

is a time to dig a hole and try to hide from the world.

Rather, now is a time to rise up and become the people that we were created to be.

This year my wife and I are going to be taking on some new adventures, and these new adventures

are going to give us a bigger voice than ever before.

Someone once told me that life is like a coin.

You can spend it any way that you want, but you can only spend it once.

We dont want to spend our lives paying bills and killing time.

Instead, we want to do all that we can to make a difference and to change the world.

So unlike these wealthy elitists, let us not be in fear of what is coming.

There is no other time in history that I would have rather lived than right here and right

now, and I cant wait to see what comes next.

more at: The Lost Ways

The Lost Ways is a far-reaching book with chapters ranging from simple things like making

tasty bark-bread-like people did when there was no food-to building a traditional backyard

smokehouse and many, many, many more!

Heres just a glimpse of what youll find in The Lost Ways:

From Ruff Simons, an old west history expert and former deputy, youll learn the techniques

and methods used by the wise sheriffs from the frontiers to defend an entire village

despite being outnumbered and outgunned by gangs of robbers and bandits, and how you

can use their wisdom to defend your home against looters when youll be surrounded.

Native American ERIK BAINBRIDGE who took part in the reconstruction of the native village

of Kule Loklo in California, will show you how Native Americans build the subterranean

roundhouse, an underground house that today will serve you as a storm shelter, a perfectly

camouflaged hideout, or a bunker.

It can easily shelter three to four families, so how will you feel if, when all hell breaks

loose, youll be able to call all your loved ones and offer them guidance and shelter?

Besides that, the subterranean roundhouse makes an awesome root cellar where you can

keep all your food and water reserves year-round.

From Shannon Azares youll learn how sailors from the XVII century preserved water in their

ships for months on end, even years and how you can use this method to preserve clean

water for your family cost-free.

Mike Searson who is a Firearm and Old West history expert will show you what

to do when there is no more ammo to be had, how people who wandered the West managed to

hunt eight deer with six bullets, and why their supply of ammo never ran out.

Remember the panic buying in the first half of 2013?

That was nothing compared to whats going to precede the collapse.

From Susan Morrow, an ex-science teacher and chemist, youll master The Art of Poultice.

She says, If you really explore the ingredients from which our forefathers made poultices,

youll be totally surprised by the similarities with modern medicines. Wellhow would

you feel in a crisis to be the only one from the group knowledgeable about this lost skill?

When there are no more antibiotics, people will turn to you to save their ill childrens

lives.

If you liked our video tutorial on how to make Pemmican, then youll love this: I

will show you how to make another superfood that our troops were using in the Independence

war, and even George Washington ate on several occasions.

This food never goes bad.

And Im not talking about honey or vinegar.

Im talking about real food!

The awesome part is that you can make this food in just 10 minutes and Im pretty sure

that you already have the ingredients in your house right now.

Really, this is all just a peek.

Rebecca Johnston Stuns YouTuber Brandon White with Her Hockey Workout | Hitting the Wall - Duration: 9:10.

I don't know about this.

Got to learn the brakes.

(HITTING THE WALL)

Hey, my name's Brandon White.

I just came into Calgary, and as you can tell,

a nice warm welcome.

I'm here to meet Rebecca Johnston,

Olympic gold medallist hockey player,

which is kind of intimidating, really.

Gold medallist, hockey player, she's probably pretty tough.

And I'm sure she has a tough workout in store for me.

But I'm about to find out. So I've got to try and find her.

(OVERHEAD LUNGE)

Oh, yeah!

- I figured I'd hop right in. - Yeah, come join me.

I'm Rebecca Johnston. I'm a two-time Olympic gold medallist

with the Canadian Women's National Hockey Team.

So I train about six days a week.

I'm in the gym at least a couple hours a day.

And then, depending on

whatever day that is, I'm on the ice as well.

Ankle grabbers.

Is that what you call them in LA?

Yeah.

I started playing hockey when I was four.

(QUAD STRETCH LATERAL LUNGE)

I grew up in Sudbury, Ontario, a smaller city.

And hockey was the main sport there, so...

Yeah, go figure, you know? Canada and hockey?

I just fell in love with it. To be able to represent

my country, put that maple leaf on,

was a pretty amazing experience.

But it was a goal I had ever since I started playing.

(SINGLE LEG BALANCE WITH MULTIPLANAR REACH)

As easy as these might look, in this half squat position,

this leg, the supporting leg, is having to have

an isometric hold where the muscle's constantly

contracted to hold this position, so you get

a real good burn in the quad.

But not only that, you also have to balance

on this one foot. It's really hard.

(BOX JUMPS)

We are at the Canadian Olympic Park.

And many of the Olympic athletes train here.

It's pretty motivating.

Wow. You are spoiled, in the gym aspect of it, at least.

Oh, my God, this is amazing. I'm in, like, heaven right now.

- Yeah? - Yeah.

I'm going to take you through a workout that I normally will do

throughout the week in the summertime.

Kind of more your off-season workout you do.

This will be an off-season workout.

- Lead the way. - OK!

First we're going to do single leg jumps.

Let's try it out.

Oh, yeah, there we go.

That'll wake you up.

Eight reps on each leg. About five sets.

On the ice, you're never on two feet, you know?

So to get that power, that push-off, you're on one leg.

It's all relation to hockey,

and you usually take about a 30 to 45-second shift.

Oh, OK.

And then you have about 60/90 seconds rest

before you're on again.

OK.

Oh, did you need help with that?

- I was... oh, no. - It's OK, I got it.

- You've got the prowler here. - Prowler, prowler pushes.

Feel like I need to add a drumbeat.

You want to make sure that you're using

the right muscles when you're doing this,

because you can get away with bad form.

- So, bad form would be like... - Hunched over, yeah.

- Hunched over. - Yeah, perfect.

We have the form down pat. Now it's more of a run.

- To get the full extension. - Full extension.

We have 15 kilos on the sled right now.

Oh, yeah, that's going to be heavy enough, for sure.

We'll see how it goes.

Right, no ego lifting around here, all right?

Oh, man.

Here we go.

OK, next exercise we're going to do med ball side toss.

We're going to be throwing the ball against the wall

as hard as we can.

So, shuffle back.

This will directly translate to...

Shooting.

A lot of it is that transition through your core, yeah,

and that mobility.

You want to make sure you use more...

- A little bit more twist? - More twist, not as much arms.

OK.

This feels good, you know?

If you've had a bad day, like a hard day,

you just let out your anger up against the wall.

Ah, the noise of the gym soothes my heart.

All right, we loaded up the hex bar.

Again, same theme, working on explosiveness.

There's a theme here.

Yeah, there is a theme!

- Just like that. - Thanks, good job!

That's one hell of an exercise.

I feel like I've got to do some kind of work right now.

Now, what? This looks like a torture device.

- It does look pretty cool. - Yeah, it is actually cool.

- We're doing high pull chops. - OK.

Basically, you just turn this machine on.

It's high pressure, and you can release...

- Oh, the air creates weight. - Yeah, it creates resistance.

Is it hot air? I feel like me

and this machine will get along if it's full of hot air.

Let's go with that, hot air.

You just want to pull down quickly,

keeping your arms straight. Don't bend them or anything.

- We'll go ten reps each side.

- Quick manner here. - Yeah.

And then you want to slow it up.

And then slowly bring it up, and back down.

Do you feel following your chin

with your upper body helps rotation?

Yeah, I like to basically follow my hand.

That was a great workout.

Sorry, I was adjusting my resistance here.

Putting it down, right, because you're a little too tired?

Absolutely. It's really cool getting to experience

- what you do on a daily basis. - Ready for the ice?

But I feel like there's still a workout ahead of me.

Maybe not for you. It's a walk in the park for you.

It'll be a challenge for you, I think.

Oh, yeah. As long as I just don't break anything,

I think I'll be happy.

(WINSPORT - CALGARY, CANADA)

Ready?

Let's see where you're at.

That scared me.

We're going to do a competition.

OK.

Shoot all these four pucks in the net the quickest.

We're going to start at the goal line,

and skate all the way, get the puck,

go down and shoot, and then have to touch

the goal line again before you come and get the next puck.

- How do you think you'll do? - Uh...

- You might get a couple. - Since I don't know

how to stop, I feel like this is going to be interesting.

I can't stop!

Got to learn the brakes.

Humiliation is probably the first word that comes to mind.

Which is totally expected, actually, you know?

For an LA guy, I think you did pretty good on the ice.

Yeah, all right. I'll take the compliment.

What an amazing experience, I mean, really, going through

your training and just seeing how intense you go through it,

and just seeing some of the exercises you do

and how they translate here right onto the ice is

really impressive. I've got to say, much respect to you,

- and hopefully a third gold. - Hopefully.

Yeah. I'll be tuning in and cheering for you.

- Cheering for the Canadians? - Yes, absolutely.

- Hey, don't say that too loud. - Secretly, secretly.

- Absolutely. - Awesome. OK.

Aaron Carter reportedly hospitalized after attack over perceived racial slur - Duration: 1:30.

It wasn't a party for Aaron on Friday night.

Aaron Carter was involved in a fight at a bar called the Loony Bin in Bradley, Ill. on Friday night and allegedly hospitalized after a fellow musician thought he made a racial comment.

Carter was attacked by the opening act ILL State, after a member of the band was messing around and stealing people's cellphones to take video of the "Aaron's Party" singer, TMZ reported.

The 29-year-old reportedly got agitated and said "Bye Felipe" to the musician — a play on the phrase "Bye Felicia." The man, who is Hispanic, found the comment to be a racial slur and attacked Carter and damaged his computer and speaker.

"No racial slur was used by Aaron," his rep told the Daily News. "His response to his attacker was a pop culture slang phase equivalent to the phrase 'bye Felica,' also found in the urban dictionary."

Carter was punched twice in the head and left bloody, according to his rep. He was taken to the hospital for observation.

Police are investigating the incident, the gossip site repots.
