Youtube daily report w Feb 19 2017

Good now we start with "the President" and with "Luciano"

This Sunday on asphalt!

Or maybe not!!!

We are on top of the "Passo del cavallo".

We have 1,5 degree

And we move ahead!

With a bit flue and stuffy nose

Let's move ahead! Let us go forward!!!

They come out at full speed!!!

Today we are going for a trip on asphalt

And today you will discover where I'll take you

We take a trip in the Brescia area

Starting from Sarezzo

At the bar centrale, great Beppe!

Now we passed the pass Passo del cavallo

We just passed it

"go go go mark his tail!"

Ritual photos of Fangosa And its 450'000 km Me – How many? How many???

President - 450'000 km

Me - 450'000 km! How many motors?

President - 2

Me - How many gearboxes?

President - 1! One motor-gearbox, but zero gear of gear!

Me – Is everything else still original?

President - Yes, yes! The tyres are the originali ones!!! Ahah

Me - Ahahaha

e - Great Fangosa keeping on!

So biscuits

I don't know I can not think of anything else

Food, food, food, hunger, great hunger

What the heck, it's only 10:30!!!

This must be the effect of the antibiotic

It makes you eat also the walls

And now we are in Toscolano Maderno

Here with the President always in front of us

Marco joined us

President – Are we going for the valley Val Vestino or do we have to deviate?

Me – In what sense?

President – I can not think of anything! But if there should be any variation?

Me – We could drive up to Costa continue until reaching Persone in off-road!

Many of you asked for it!

Today I show you the road of that video (off road Lake Garda)

Ahhh we are driving uphill!!!

And now let's see what's happening …

We have to get on the top, because we want to drive for a while on earth road!

Before lunch

Ehhh

We really are bad boys! There is nothing to do… we are irrecoverable!!!

Oouuhhuu otherwise it would have been too easy!

Nina go straight on!

Let's hope that on top the situation will look a bit better!

We have a bit of a problem

There is this great hairpin turn

And I assure you

There will be one and a half hairpin turn

And we are arrived at the refuge!

Me – I will drive first having the oldest motorcycle!!!

President – I thought it was worse!

Me – Ahaha

President – Drive slowly staying all at your right hand side!

Me – Following the order of heavyness after me it's her turn!

In my view he choosed the most difficult way!

Again!!! Me!!!

President – You have to stai all at your right hand side, because there is some dirt and it grips well!

Me – Yes I know! I was coming right towards you

Me – Wit, wait, wait, he must take a picture!

Marco – And also this year we start this way

Me – Look at that! Look at that!!!

President – Is it in first gear?

Me – Yes

Me – We try again

Me – I can't believe

President – Luciano passed it! But where is that refuge about which you have told me that we are arrived!

Marco – We need an old lady to help us out!!! Ahahah

President – Where are you going???

Me – I pull the bike this side!

President - Oohhh I'm falling, I'm falling!!!

President – But can't you stop from leaving me push!

President – Shall we pull you uphill or push you down the hill???

President – But what are we doing? We are lifting it up or what?

Me – 1, 2, 3

Marco – Wait, wait one moment

President – Turn the handlebar

Marco – Yes, but I can't stay on my feet!

Me – Ah OK! Then wait that I am going to pull it a bit this way!

President – But are we lifting it up or dragging it?

Explain me, so that I know what to do!

President – OK

Me – Go, go, go!

President – Where?

Me – In the sense, leave the bike

Me – You almost made it, only one meter was left

Marco – The same as you before! When I saw the rear wheel of your bike overtaking the front wheel, I was saying to myself " Now he falls"!!!

Marco – No, no President you have to go this way!

Me – In my opinion there is no need that he climbed to the top, my bike goes down by itself!!! Ahah

Marco – Let's pull it a bit this way!

President – Yes, it's OK, let's pull it this way!

Me – Attention, attention!!! I can't undestand, Luciano, but I am slipping here!!!

we can't go up more! it's time go back

Me – How can we lift it? OK it's done

Me – Do we go ahead this way?

Luciano – But no! If I am able to get on my bike!

Me – Don't make the mistake of resting your foot at the right, otherwise you fall!

President – Slowly! To the left! Leave the breaks! Okkk

Me – He made it!!! Oouuhhuu

Me – A little bit this way!

Me – Go straight, so

Me – Go straight, exactly so, you are doing well

President – No, it's that I have my foot blocked!!!

President – Ok, now I'm ready!

Me – Come on, there are 0,3m left! Good

Me – This thick layer of ice here, I don't remember where we passed!

Me – All the things you were taught not to do on your bike!

Me – Yet it works

Me – The other way it's easier

President – Please move

Me – But no, go easy, there is no snow!

Me – Let's go back

President – Let's make the old road! That is the normal one

Me – Ahaha

Because of snow we retrace our steps

And let's go to make the valley Val Vestino (normal road)

We wanted to ad 30 minutes of easy dirt road

But there is nothin to do

For this reason the tour lasted almost two hours more

Me – But why did you want to make that way? Explain to me

President – Because I hoped that there would be snow! But soft snow

President – I know a person whose name is Dera and who said that there was only one hairpin turn left and then there would be the refuge here! We are almost arrived!!!

President - After 4 times falling, we still were not arrived!

And nothing, we made a brief aperitif.

Now we continue, we make the valley Val Vestino

in direction ….

End of first part

In the next video

We are under the regime of yellow flag…

Fangosa is trying to escape!!!

Let's hope not to loose some camera

I would not say! But the race is still ardently!

I think that until the don't bring some food, the race will continue this way

Hey there, I´m Dan Rémi, your online

personal trainer. Today I'm going to show

you how you can make your own homemade

energy bar.

Let's go! You're gonna need 120 g

of dates, 120 grams of mixed nuts,

100 g of oats, 60 g of peanut

butter and 25 mL of water.

Start off preheating the oven to 180

degrees. Next step, cut the nuts in medium

pieces. Roast the nuts in a pan at high heat.

Blend the dates and water in a blender to

form a paste. In a bowl, mix the paste

together with the nuts, oats and peanut

butter. Shape the mixture into a giant

energy bar by pressing it firmly

together.

Bake for 12 minutes at 180 degrees in

the preheated oven. And after that, let it

cool for about 10 minutes, by leaving it

on the table.

Afterwards, place in the freezer for 20

minutes. Final step! Cut the giant bar

into smaller bars of desired size.

How Far He'll Go: Lin-Manuel Miranda could be the youngest EGOT winner if he nabs Oscar for 'Moan... - Duration: 4:16.

After the insanity surrounding his smash hit "Hamilton," you would think creator Lin Manuel-Miranda would want a break. Instead, he paved his way to the EGOT by penning a Disney hit.

The 37-year-old a New York native is nominated for Best Original Song at the 2017 Oscars, for "How Far I'll Go" from the Disney film "Moana," which he wrote and composed with Mark Mancina and Samoan singer-songwriter Opetaia Foa'i.

A win could make him the youngest EGOT winner of all time — meaning he would have achieved the coveted combination of an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony — but that accomplishment isn't one on his radar.

He told the Daily News he never thought about obtaining that trophy when writing the song — he just wanted to please his 10-year-old self, who could only ever dream of this day.

"I'm trying to go into the Oscars with the excitement of a kid who used to tape them every year, starting with the year Little Mermaid was nominated and seeing Geoffrey Holder perform 'Kiss the Girl' and 'Under the Sea' with an insane musical number happening behind him," Miranda explained.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is nominated for Best Original Song at the 2017 Oscars for "How Far I'll Go" from the Disney film "Moana."

(Disney/AP)

"So my mom is my date, because we used to watch the Oscars together so I'm really trying to make my night about that, about that 10-year-old kid's dream come true."

The chance to work on a Disney film came while his play, "Hamilton," became a national sensation — and the chance to write something in the same realm as "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" and "Under the Sea" served as an outlet from the massive hype surrounding the Tony award-winning play.

"In a way it was the perfect opposing muscle group. In my life, while the Hamilton phenomenon was happening, I would have to block off days to write. It sort of helped me keep my sanity while everyone was freaking out about the show," he told the Daily News.

The Disney gig wouldn't be the only big news he received that week.

(Disney)

"The 'Moana' experience has been such a thrill throughout, I got that job the same week I found out I was going to be a dad for the first time, so it was one of those life changing weeks," Miranda told The News. "With the offer came a pair of plane tickets to New Zealand ... it was like, you're going to be a dad, your life is changing, get on this plane."

But Miranda's accolades have never stopped him from being fiercely passionate about the current political climate.

The star, who is proudly Puerto Rican, didn't shy away from calling President Trump's recent Muslim ban "unconstitutional" and declaring it was "not who we are as a country."

He also commented on the "Oscars So White" controversy, noting that despite several diverse nominees this year, it doesn't mean the Academy has changed directions.

"I hesitate to pinpoint a direction based on a year. I think these things are such a crapshoot based on what's released and what's going on," he said. "I think we have a long way to go in terms of diversity both in front of and behind the camera, I certainly believes it's true."

(LUCAS JACKSON/REUTERS)

"But to say, 'it's better,' 'it's worse,' every year, is counterproductive. I think it's more important to create work and create opportunities and find filmmakers and producers and people in power who are committed to a movie set looking more like our country looks, from everyone on the crew to the cast to the creative team."

EGOT winners include Richard Rodgers, Helen Hayes, Rita Moreno, John Gielgud, Audrey Hepburn, Marvin Hamlisch, Jonathan Tunick, Mel Brooks, Mike Nichols, Whoopi Goldberg, Scott Rudin and Robert Lopez — who currently holds the spot for youngest winner at 38.

The Feb. 26th Academy Awards will determine whether Miranda will join the exclusive club of four-award winners. He will also perform the song in front of the audience that evening.

But it might not be easy for Miranda to nab the fourth trophy, as "How Fair I'll Go" is up against two songs from the beloved film "La La Land." However, he's a team player and said he's excited to put on a tux and represent the theater community with pals Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who penned "La La Land" hits "City of Stars" and "Audition."

Miranda earned an Emmy for penning the song "Bigger" for the Tony awards. He's taken home two Grammys for "In the Heights" (2009) and "Hamilton" (2016), and won three Tony Awards for "Hamilton," in Original Score and Book of Musical, and "In the Heights" for Best Original Score in 2008.

Miranda also won a 2016 Pulitzer Prize in Drama for "Hamilton."

4th Generation Braised Goose in Bangkok: LEGENDARY Thai Chinese Food | ห่านพะโล้ ร้านฉั่วคิมเฮง - Duration: 13:30.

(chopping)

- [Mark] That is a beauty.

A side of a goose here in,

just, that pool of flavorful juices.

(uplifting music)

Good morning everyone, it's Mark Wiens

with Migrationology.com in Bangkok, Thailand.

Gonna pick up Dwight, my buddy Dwight,

and we are driving over to a restaurant called

Chua Kim Heng, which is very famous.

Oh hold on.

There's Dwight right now.

- Did I just interrupt?

(both laugh)

- It's very famous for serving braised goose.

So we're on our way to go eat some

braised goose today for lunch.

(uplifting music)

The drive didn't take too long,

we just arrived at the restaurant,

and this is a fourth generation

braised goose restaurant, and it's one of these restaurants

that's just sort of expanded as it's grown

throughout the years and so it's underneath the highway.

And, you actually have to drive through

the middle of the restaurant, which I think is pretty cool,

and they have a dining room on both sides of the street.

You arrive to this restaurant,

and what's really cool about it is that

there's a driveway, kind of like a little road,

right in the middle of this restaurant,

and so you'll see some cars pulling up

and people getting out and just entering

the restaurant immediately.

It reminds me of, like, an emission or like a mechanic,

or an emissions testing

mechanic place where you just drive in your car,

and then they check your car, that's what it reminds me of.

(chopping)

A couple of the dishes have just arrived,

but what's really awesome looking is the sauce.

Which, I think this is the braised goose sauce.

You can see, just full of garlic and some yellow chilies,

and probably vinegar is what I'm guessing.

I just gotta taste a little piece of that garlic.

Dwight is filming a video too, so we've got two cameras

rolling, and we're both eating.

- We're definitely the most annoying people

in the restaurant, confirmed.

- Oh!

But what's really good about that sauce

is that they're using the Thai garlic.

It's strong, but it's mild at the same time.

That's basically a vinegar-based sauce,

which is gonna go really well together with the salty goose.

We ordered a couple of different dishes,

and the most famous thing this restaurant

is known for is their braised goose,

but the braised goose is only served at lunch.

They are also open at dinner,

but they serve more stir-fried Chinese style dishes.

So we got some braised goose,

and then we also got another dish

that you absolutely have to get.

But I'm gonna start with that braised goose.

That is a beauty, just a side of a goose here.

You can see that, like, marbling of the skin,

and just that pool of flavorful juices.

And there's some cilantro on the top as well.

And they do have the sauce, but since I've already

tasted the sauce, I think I'm just gonna go ahead

and just taste the straight piece of the goose,

without anything and really,

really let it absorb those juices.

- [Dwight] It's just extra fatty, extra juicy.

Even when they're hanging in the window,

you can see them just dripping with this juice.

(laughs)

- Oh yeah!

That's insane.

It's on the salty side for flavor,

but you can taste the undertone of the star anise in there.

And then what I really love about the goose

is that it has a little bit of a muscular texture to it,

which is completely contrasted by that

gelatinous-y skin on the top.

This time I have to submerge it into that garlic-y goodness,

and I actually wanna take the chopsticks

and actually put some of that garlic on top of it.

It's awesomely good. - [Dwight] Confirmed?

- Oh man,

yeah,

confirmed delicious.

It's like at that stage just before it's too salty

to the point where it's so addictive

and so good and so salty.

Not over salty, but perfect.

The next dish we got is Pad Mee Ka Han,

and it comes in its own little baking pot here,

and there's Pad Mee, which are egg noodles on the top,

and then on the bottom are braised goose feet

plus some garlic.

This is one of their signature dishes here.

I wanna see what's underneath all this.

So first, maybe take some of the noodles?

And I'm just assuming that these noodles

have just been saturated with goose juices.

Oh, and there's mushrooms down here, there's ginger.

- [Dwight] So, they've got all the spices

and everything at the bottom.

So I think the way they do it is they cook all of that,

and then they throw

the soaked noodles on top.

So, once we get down to the bottom,

everybody will be able to see a little bit better

that all the flavor from that garlic and the spices

and those giant mushrooms and everything has just been

absorbed by these goose feet.

They're not like duck feet.

They're webbed, right, and they're extra big.

So if you love feet at all, if you love chicken feet,

or duck feet, or anything, this is like the ultimate.

- [Mark] Looks like there's some pork fat down there too.

For extra flavor. - [Dwight] Yeah. Oh.

- [Mark] They know what they're doing here.

- [Dwight] I don't even think you're supposed

to eat all of that stuff, that's just there...

- [Mark] Here's a goose foot.

- [Dwight] To be absorbed.

- [Mark] There's a lot of delicious things going on

in that pot, but I gotta start with this.

This webbed foot.

Rather than a chicken foot, this has a lot more meat,

or a lot more material that you can gnaw on.

You do wanna take out all the little bones.

- (laughs)

Come again?

(laughs)

- Yeah, that is very gelatinous.

You can really taste, like, a black pepper flavor to it.

And I still got one more bone in my mouth.

Unlike chicken feet, which I wouldn't

say are my favorite because they basically just offer

a couple bites of, like, that padding material,

goose feet, on the other hand,

and these particularly, are awesome.

You do have to really like the kinda, like,

the gelatinous-y,

gooey textures.

But if you can enjoy that kind of a texture,

the flavor on them and just that fattiness

and that gnawing on the little bones,

and digging off that little bits of the web,

it's really really good.

And that, like, spice profile that they're using

in their braised juices and sauce

is just absolutely awesome.

Now I gotta taste some of those noodles.

And the noodles not only have the goose juices,

but also that pork at the bottom of the pot,

as well as ginger and garlic, and some other,

probably secret, ingredients.

Woah.

Those noodles are amazing.

- [Dwight] Mm-hmm.

- They're so soft, you can actually

feel, like, the oils and flavors

just filled into the noodles.

We also got a big soup here which is, I think,

a steamed soup with bitter melon and See Khrong Muu,

which is pork ribs, I think.

And I love bitter melon, especially when they're

like these tender piece of bitter melon.

I'm gonna put this on to my rice.

Okay, and then maybe add a pork rib in there as well.

Is this supposed to be eaten with any sauce, you think?

Okay, and I will reach in for that.

(Mark gasps)

- [Mark] Oh!

That just completely falls off the bone.

Oh, that's beautiful.

And then, take it with some of that bitter melon.

(Dwight laughs)

That bitter melon just disintegrates in your mouth.

And it's just so soft and tender,

and it's not really that bitter,

but it definitely has a very porky flavor to it.

That is very porky, and that just was a

very pleasant bitterness to it.

We've eaten all the noodles and most of the feet,

but there's some goodies down below here.

I'm gonna grab one of those mushrooms.

Oh, and I got a noodle attached to this mushroom.

Those mushrooms are ridiculous.

It almost has the same texture as the feet.

It's gelatinous, and it's just filled with the flavor.

I can really taste ginger in that mushroom.

We just finished with this meal.

That was fantastically good.

What I really liked about the goose

is that it's on a saltier side rather than the sweet side.

Actually, I don't even know if it

really has any sweetness to it.

But you can really taste the undertone of

secret herbs and spices that they've braised,

that juice that they braised the goose in.

Really, really good.

And then also the highlight of any meal here

is that goose feet,

kinda hot pot pan, all in one pan.

Even if feet don't sound that good to you,

you should definitely try it because they are amazing.

And what I didn't notice at the beginning of eating it

is that they included a lot of cilantro roots

which in Thai are called Rak Pak Chee,

and that was giving a lot of flavor to this dish.

There's a lot of black pepper corns.

There were some pork fat flavoring it,

as well as a lot of ginger.

And then this is just a classic place.

I love how the master is up there,

just slicing and dicing

that goose up just

remarkably well.

He's a true expert, and he just de-bones it!

He de-bones it all within, like,

just not, like, really fast, but just graceful.

He's very graceful at chopping up geese.

For fantastic and legendary braised goose in Bangkok,

this is a great restaurant.

And they even have some snack stalls

right outside the restaurant.

Ying is now buying

some Makam,

or some Khanoms over here.

- [Mark] Which one is this Ying?

Khanom - [Ying] Khanom Tian

Khanom Tian. - [Mark] Khanom Tian.

In a little pyramid shape,

wrapped in a banana leaf and steamed.

Oh yeah, that's gooey.

And you can feel the oils coming out of this.

You can really smell the banana leaf,

which has been embedded into this.

Mm, okay, I have had this before.

It has kind of like

a grainy, bean-y texture on the inside,

and then on the outside it is, like, very sticky.

And then also, I forgot that there is a little

bit of black pepper in here.

So you can taste a little bit of a pepper flavor as well.

That is a very interesting snack

because it's a little bit sweet,

but then that contrasts with the black pepper.

And now that I keep on eating it,

you can actually taste the black pepper sort of

numbing the tongue.

What'd you think of that goose, Dwight?

- Oh man, I loved it, as always.

This is a great place.

If you're in Bangkok, it's worth coming over

to Chua Kim Heng.

This is not the only thing to eat over here.

There's a great set of restaurants in this area,

so you can really just come over here and explore.

- Thank you all very much for watching this video.

Please remember to give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it.

Also Dwight is making a video as well.

- Maybe.

(laughs)

- I think.

I will link it below if he does,

and thank you all very much for watching,

and I will see you on the next video.

(uplifting music)

The Federalist Papers | Federalist No. 26 - Duration: 15:21.

FEDERALIST No. 26.

The Idea of Restraining the Legislative Authority in Regard to the Common Defense Considered.

For the Independent Journal.

Saturday, December 22, 1788

HAMILTON To the People of the State of New York:

IT WAS a thing hardly to be expected that in a popular revolution the minds of men should

stop at that happy mean which marks the salutary boundary between POWER and PRIVILEGE, and

combines the energy of government with the security of private rights.

A failure in this delicate and important point is the great source of the inconveniences

we experience, and if we are not cautious to avoid a repetition of the error, in our

future attempts to rectify and ameliorate our system, we may travel from one chimerical

project to another; we may try change after change; but we shall never be likely to make

any material change for the better.

The idea of restraining the legislative authority, in the means of providing for the national

defense, is one of those refinements which owe their origin to a zeal for liberty more

ardent than enlightened.

We have seen, however, that it has not had thus far an extensive prevalency; that even

in this country, where it made its first appearance, Pennsylvania and North Carolina are the only

two States by which it has been in any degree patronized; and that all the others have refused

to give it the least countenance; wisely judging that confidence must be placed somewhere;

that the necessity of doing it, is implied in the very act of delegating power; and that

it is better to hazard the abuse of that confidence than to embarrass the government and endanger

the public safety by impolitic restrictions on the legislative authority.

The opponents of the proposed Constitution combat, in this respect, the general decision

of America; and instead of being taught by experience the propriety of correcting any

extremes into which we may have heretofore run, they appear disposed to conduct us into

others still more dangerous, and more extravagant.

As if the tone of government had been found too high, or too rigid, the doctrines they

teach are calculated to induce us to depress or to relax it, by expedients which, upon

other occasions, have been condemned or forborne.

It may be affirmed without the imputation of invective, that if the principles they

inculcate, on various points, could so far obtain as to become the popular creed, they

would utterly unfit the people of this country for any species of government whatever.

But a danger of this kind is not to be apprehended.

The citizens of America have too much discernment to be argued into anarchy.

And I am much mistaken, if experience has not wrought a deep and solemn conviction in

the public mind, that greater energy of government is essential to the welfare and prosperity

of the community.

It may not be amiss in this place concisely to remark the origin and progress of the idea,

which aims at the exclusion of military establishments in time of peace.

Though in speculative minds it may arise from a contemplation of the nature and tendency

of such institutions, fortified by the events that have happened in other ages and countries,

yet as a national sentiment, it must be traced to those habits of thinking which we derive

from the nation from whom the inhabitants of these States have in general sprung.

In England, for a long time after the Norman Conquest, the authority of the monarch was

almost unlimited.

Inroads were gradually made upon the prerogative, in favor of liberty, first by the barons,

and afterwards by the people, till the greatest part of its most formidable pretensions became

extinct.

But it was not till the revolution in 1688, which elevated the Prince of Orange to the

throne of Great Britain, that English liberty was completely triumphant.

As incident to the undefined power of making war, an acknowledged prerogative of the crown,

Charles II. had, by his own authority, kept on foot in time of peace a body of 5,000 regular

troops.

And this number James II. increased to 30,000; who were paid out of his civil list.

At the revolution, to abolish the exercise of so dangerous an authority, it became an

article of the Bill of Rights then framed, that "the raising or keeping a standing army

within the kingdom in time of peace, UNLESS WITH THE CONSENT OF PARLIAMENT, was against

law."

In that kingdom, when the pulse of liberty was at its highest pitch, no security against

the danger of standing armies was thought requisite, beyond a prohibition of their being

raised or kept up by the mere authority of the executive magistrate.

The patriots, who effected that memorable revolution, were too temperate, too wellinformed,

to think of any restraint on the legislative discretion.

They were aware that a certain number of troops for guards and garrisons were indispensable;

that no precise bounds could be set to the national exigencies; that a power equal to

every possible contingency must exist somewhere in the government: and that when they referred

the exercise of that power to the judgment of the legislature, they had arrived at the

ultimate point of precaution which was reconcilable with the safety of the community.

From the same source, the people of America may be said to have derived an hereditary

impression of danger to liberty, from standing armies in time of peace.

The circumstances of a revolution quickened the public sensibility on every point connected

with the security of popular rights, and in some instances raise the warmth of our zeal

beyond the degree which consisted with the due temperature of the body politic.

The attempts of two of the States to restrict the authority of the legislature in the article

of military establishments, are of the number of these instances.

The principles which had taught us to be jealous of the power of an hereditary monarch were

by an injudicious excess extended to the representatives of the people in their popular assemblies.

Even in some of the States, where this error was not adopted, we find unnecessary declarations

that standing armies ought not to be kept up, in time of peace, WITHOUT THE CONSENT

OF THE LEGISLATURE.

I call them unnecessary, because the reason which had introduced a similar provision into

the English Bill of Rights is not applicable to any of the State constitutions.

The power of raising armies at all, under those constitutions, can by no construction

be deemed to reside anywhere else, than in the legislatures themselves; and it was superfluous,

if not absurd, to declare that a matter should not be done without the consent of a body,

which alone had the power of doing it.

Accordingly, in some of these constitutions, and among others, in that of this State of

New York, which has been justly celebrated, both in Europe and America, as one of the

best of the forms of government established in this country, there is a total silence

upon the subject.

It is remarkable, that even in the two States which seem to have meditated an interdiction

of military establishments in time of peace, the mode of expression made use of is rather

cautionary than prohibitory.

It is not said, that standing armies SHALL NOT BE kept up, but that they OUGHT NOT to

be kept up, in time of peace.

This ambiguity of terms appears to have been the result of a conflict between jealousy

and conviction; between the desire of excluding such establishments at all events, and the

persuasion that an absolute exclusion would be unwise and unsafe.

Can it be doubted that such a provision, whenever the situation of public affairs was understood

to require a departure from it, would be interpreted by the legislature into a mere admonition,

and would be made to yield to the necessities or supposed necessities of the State?

Let the fact already mentioned, with respect to Pennsylvania, decide.

What then (it may be asked) is the use of such a provision, if it cease to operate the

moment there is an inclination to disregard it?

Let us examine whether there be any comparison, in point of efficacy, between the provision

alluded to and that which is contained in the new Constitution, for restraining the

appropriations of money for military purposes to the period of two years.

The former, by aiming at too much, is calculated to effect nothing; the latter, by steering

clear of an imprudent extreme, and by being perfectly compatible with a proper provision

for the exigencies of the nation, will have a salutary and powerful operation.

The legislature of the United States will be OBLIGED, by this provision, once at least

in every two years, to deliberate upon the propriety of keeping a military force on foot;

to come to a new resolution on the point; and to declare their sense of the matter,

by a formal vote in the face of their constituents.

They are not AT LIBERTY to vest in the executive department permanent funds for the support

of an army, if they were even incautious enough to be willing to repose in it so improper

a confidence.

As the spirit of party, in different degrees, must be expected to infect all political bodies,

there will be, no doubt, persons in the national legislature willing enough to arraign the

measures and criminate the views of the majority.

The provision for the support of a military force will always be a favorable topic for

declamation.

As often as the question comes forward, the public attention will be roused and attracted

to the subject, by the party in opposition; and if the majority should be really disposed

to exceed the proper limits, the community will be warned of the danger, and will have

an opportunity of taking measures to guard against it.

Independent of parties in the national legislature itself, as often as the period of discussion

arrived, the State legislatures, who will always be not only vigilant but suspicious

and jealous guardians of the rights of the citizens against encroachments from the federal

government, will constantly have their attention awake to the conduct of the national rulers,

and will be ready enough, if any thing improper appears, to sound the alarm to the people,

and not only to be the VOICE, but, if necessary, the ARM of their discontent.

Schemes to subvert the liberties of a great community REQUIRE TIME to mature them for

execution.

An army, so large as seriously to menace those liberties, could only be formed by progressive

augmentations; which would suppose, not merely a temporary combination between the legislature

and executive, but a continued conspiracy for a series of time.

Is it probable that such a combination would exist at all?

Is it probable that it would be persevered in, and transmitted along through all the

successive variations in a representative body, which biennial elections would naturally

produce in both houses?

Is it presumable, that every man, the instant he took his seat in the national Senate or

House of Representatives, would commence a traitor to his constituents and to his country?

Can it be supposed that there would not be found one man, discerning enough to detect

so atrocious a conspiracy, or bold or honest enough to apprise his constituents of their

danger?

If such presumptions can fairly be made, there ought at once to be an end of all delegated

authority.

The people should resolve to recall all the powers they have heretofore parted with out

of their own hands, and to divide themselves into as many States as there are counties,

in order that they may be able to manage their own concerns in person.

If such suppositions could even be reasonably made, still the concealment of the design,

for any duration, would be impracticable.

It would be announced, by the very circumstance of augmenting the army to so great an extent

in time of profound peace.

What colorable reason could be assigned, in a country so situated, for such vast augmentations

of the military force?

It is impossible that the people could be long deceived; and the destruction of the

project, and of the projectors, would quickly follow the discovery.

It has been said that the provision which limits the appropriation of money for the

support of an army to the period of two years would be unavailing, because the Executive,

when once possessed of a force large enough to awe the people into submission, would find

resources in that very force sufficient to enable him to dispense with supplies from

the acts of the legislature.

But the question again recurs, upon what pretense could he be put in possession of a force of

that magnitude in time of peace?

If we suppose it to have been created in consequence of some domestic insurrection or foreign war,

then it becomes a case not within the principles of the objection; for this is levelled against

the power of keeping up troops in time of peace.

Few persons will be so visionary as seriously to contend that military forces ought not

to be raised to quell a rebellion or resist an invasion; and if the defense of the community

under such circumstances should make it necessary to have an army so numerous as to hazard its

liberty, this is one of those calamities for which there is neither preventative nor cure.

It cannot be provided against by any possible form of government; it might even result from

a simple league offensive and defensive, if it should ever be necessary for the confederates

or allies to form an army for common defense.

But it is an evil infinitely less likely to attend us in a united than in a disunited

state; nay, it may be safely asserted that it is an evil altogether unlikely to attend

us in the latter situation.

It is not easy to conceive a possibility that dangers so formidable can assail the whole

Union, as to demand a force considerable enough to place our liberties in the least jeopardy,

especially if we take into our view the aid to be derived from the militia, which ought

always to be counted upon as a valuable and powerful auxiliary.

But in a state of disunion (as has been fully shown in another place), the contrary of this

supposition would become not only probable, but almost unavoidable.

Bizarre Things That Happened On The Set of Game Of Thrones - Duration: 6:16.

By all accounts, the sets of Game of Thrones seem like mighty fun and interesting places

to be, mainly because dragons and White Walkers aren't real, and swords and armor are pretty

cool.

Still, some of the shenanigans and troubles on set are almost equal to the trials and

tribulations of Westeros.

Here's a look at some of the bizarre things that happened on the set of Game of Thrones.

They destroyed a natural wonder

Malta was chosen for one of the shooting locations during the first season.

But during the filming of the Dothraki wedding scene, at the Dwejra Heritage Park, relations

soured between the showrunners and Malta's government.

When the production crew poured sand on protected fossil-rich rock beds without any protective

membrane, the sand seeped into the land and cemented, burying local flora and fauna, and

causing what an independent inquiry called "damage to irreplaceable fossil and ichnofossil features".

A local production company was fined €36,500 for the damage, and the series left Malta

soon thereafter.

According to some sources, the Maltese government banned the show from continuing to film in

the country.

However, some Maltese blame the debacle on the lack of oversight from the Malta Environmental

and Planning Authority, and have even called for the authority's bureaucrats to be beheaded

and have their heads displayed on pikes, to entice HBO to return.

Way to get into character, Malta!

Skinning real stags

In case you haven't noticed, Game of Thrones is big into symbolism, so considering the

fate of the Baratheon family, whose house symbol is a stag, it's no wonder the show

wound up using a lot of dead deer.

For instance, the dead stag the Starks find in the pilot episode?

That was a real stag that had been shot and butchered a couple days before the scene was

filmed.

By the time they were ready to film, the corpse was quite ripe, and the actors struggled to

keep from vomiting throughout the takes.

Later in the series, Tywin Lannister was introduced in a scene where he was skinning a stag.

Actor Charles Dance had one day to learn how to skin it.

He told The Daily Beast, "This butcher arrived with a dead animal and they gave me a little

room to work in, gave me a sharp knife, and showed me how to skin it and spill the guts

into a bucket.

The next day, they gave me another dead animal, and we shot it.

It was a bloody good time, but it took me two days to get the smell off my hands."

Ad-libbing in Dothraki

When creating the made up language Dothraki for the series, the showrunners turn to creative

linguist David J. Peterson.

That's great for making your language as realistic as possible, but sometimes he's just not around

— so the actors may make up stuff off the top of their heads.

And then Peterson has to retroactively make it fit.

In one of the early scenes portraying the Dothraki, Jason Momoa's Khal Drogo watched

two horny Dothraki braves fight to the death.

Producers told him to ad-lib a line, so Momoa used a refrain from the Maori haka war dance.

"I te waka."

Peterson liked the sound of the line so much, he ended up adding it into the Dothraki language

as "Test your mettle!"

Not bad, but the improvisational dictionary didn't stop there.

Iain Glen got into the action as well, when the producers forced him to ad-lib a Dothraki

line at the last minute.

The producers realized they needed his character, Jorah Mormont, to holler "Take all the gold

and jewels!" in Dothraki so they could put that up on-screen as a subtitle.

Glen just made up some nonsense sounds that went a little something like this...

Fortunately, Peterson — being the pro linguist that he is — later managed to translate

that buncha gobbledygook into "The loose valuables are for loading."

That's some awkward phrasing, but it almost makes sense considering Jorah speaks Dothraki

as a second language.

Hurricane Katia vs. the Knights of Summer

Scenes of Renly's camp in Season 2 were meant to be sunny and upbeat, a reflection of the

ethos of the "knights of summer" who see war as a game.

Problem was, Hurricane Katia struck in the middle of filming, leading to some unscripted

— and scary — moments.

According to Finn Jones, who played Loras Tyrell, "Literally the whole extras tent,

which was about 1,000 extras and all their costumes, took off into the air!

It was actually terrifying with things swinging down and people getting knocked out.

It was absolute chaos.

So that was a real disaster but luckily everyone was OK in the end."

Well, not quite everyone — five extras were taken to the hospital for treatment.

And that's not even counting the smoke baby.

Perverted executives

Game of Thrones has often been criticized for "sexposition," where dry, dialogue-heavy

scenes get livened up with casual nudity.

Saturday Night Live even did a sketch contending the footage must have been added by a 13 year old boy.

But according to director Neil Marshall, that joke wasn't so far from the truth.

In an interview with the Empire podcast, Marshall described one of the executive producers pushing

him to go full frontal as often as possible just for kicks.

"This particular exec like took me to one side and said, 'Look, I represent the pervert

side of the audience, okay?

And I'm saying I want full-frontal nudity in this scene.'"

Adam Friedberg approves.

Seriously — naked people everywhere

So, yeah, there's a lot of nudity on the show.

But there's even more on the set, where actors often end up lounging around in the buff between scenes.

Actor Pedro Pascal, who played Oberyn Martell, revealed that one actress stayed naked between

takes of an orgy sequence and passed the time playing Words with Friends with show creator

David Benioff — while Charles Dance struggled to stay focused on his newspaper.

"And Charles has the paper, and she's trying to talk with him and he's like…"

"Hahaha."

"And he looks up at me and he's like…"

That seems to be just par for the course according to Jaime Lannister actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau,

who told GQ, "I've seen Sean Bean naked.

I've seen Mark Addy.

And Lena … We do that at the read-through.

We just strip naked and read the script."

Adam Friedberg approves.

Horse heart

Ever wonder what a horse heart tastes like?

Well, one thing it apparently does not taste like is Gummi Bears.

Emilia Clarke discovered this the hard way when she had to eat a fake horse heart, which

she was assured would taste like the colorful candy.

It didn't.

Instead, she told Vulture it was "...sort of a congealed jam kind of thing.

On the outtakes, there will be me heaving into a bucket.

It's such a reflex, when you taste something that's just so revolting, you kind of instantly

just want to get rid of it.

It's safe to say that I didn't eat lunch that day."

To make things worse, she ended up getting covered from head to toe in sticky fake blood,

and disappeared from the set for a while because she accidentally got stuck to her toilet seat.

Adam Friedberg approves.

Ew.

Why Disney Gave Up On Tron - Duration: 4:29.

It took decades, but fans of the 1982 cult hit Tron finally got a sequel with Tron: Legacy

in 2010.

Not long after, Disney announced a third movie, code named Tron: Ascension, was in the works.

Then… nothing, and the studio reportedly pulled the plug in 2015.

At this point, it seems Disney might be waiting another three decades before considering its

next Tron movie.

Here's a look at why there won't be another light cycle trip around the Grid anytime soon.

Box office dud

Tron: Legacy earned $400 million dollars worldwide on a $170 million dollar budget.

And while that's a lot of money for the sequel to a 30-year-old cult hit, it still wasn't

quite enough to launch a franchise.

For the sake of perspective, Disney's live action Alice in Wonderland was released in

the same year as Tron: Legacy and it brought in more than $1 billion dollars at the box

office.

$400 million dollars might sound like a lot, but Disney is used to making a lot more.

Not Disney enough

When the Tron sequel was axed in 2015, Disney's release calendar was already booked pretty

solid with tentpole releases like Cinderella, The Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, and,

yes, another Alice in Wonderland.

What's the common theme here?

Outside of the Marvel movies, Disney's live action slate is almost exclusively remakes

of its animated hits.

Disney knows what works, and going with a proven story that fans already love is far

less risky that rolling the dice on another Tron.

Unless, of course, they can find a way to shoehorn Iron Man into there...

"Nope!"

Tomorrowland bombed

Disney pulled the plug on a third Tron movie in May 2015, almost immediately after Tomorrowland

tanked at the box office.

Like Tron, Tomorrowland was an ambitious sci-fi film with a family-friendly angle.

And like Tron, it didn't do all that well.

Despite having George Clooney star and Brad Bird in the director's chair, Tomorrowland

couldn't clear $100 million dollars at the U.S. box office — falling well below its

reported $200 million budget.

Fresh off Tron: Legacy's lackluster performance, Tomorrowland was confirmation that audiences

just aren't interested enough in this type of movie.

Took too long

The plot of the third Tron was reportedly going to follow Olivia Wilde's Quorra as

she ventures out into the real world.

Wilde, co-star Garrett Hedlund, and director Joseph Kosinski were all set to return.

But, when filming was about to start in late 2015, Disney shelved the project.

At that point, original star Bruce Boxleitner said he was no longer interested in making

another Tron, after seeing how Disney was treating the franchise.

"I'm done with it.

I've moved on.

I hate to say that but it's been too up and down for me."

And if they did move forward now, it'd be pretty hard to make a Tron movie without Tron.

Tron: Uprising crashed

In 2012, Disney XD launched the animated series Tron: Uprising to tie into the world of Tron:

Legacy and potentially set up a new live action sequel.

The show was actually pretty good, but after launching with nearly 2 million viewers, the

ratings took a nose dive to around 300,000 by the time the first season wrapped.

If Disney was looking to the series as a proving ground that fans wanted more Tron, it pretty

much proved the opposite.

"Difficult proposition.

Difficult proposition at best."

Toy troubles

Disney makes a lot of movies, and it also sells a whole lot of toys.

A lot of tie-in merchandise was launched alongside Tron: Legacy in 2010, but the toys and games

were never really big sellers, which closed off a potentially huge financial avenue for

Disney and its partners.

The Tron: Evolution video game, which served as a prequel to Tron: Legacy, sold a mere

190,000 copies — which is pretty terrible for a hyped game built around what should've

been a hot property.

Waiting game

The time might not be right for a new Tron sequel now.

But what's old will be new again eventually, right?

Franchises like these tend to come back around after a while in Hollywood, and it stands

to reason Tron will be no exception.

If it ever does, it sounds like they at least have a great script ready to go.

"Yeah, between us, they were like, 'This one's going to blow Legacy out of the water.'"

So, if it took 30 years for Tron: Legacy to get made, we can go ahead and pencil in a

date around 2040 for the next one, right?

- Maybe.

(laughs)

Modeling stories | Liza | Taugh modeling jobs | Jumping for 8 hours for Chinese Catalog | ENG subs - Duration: 2:12.

- We've talked about it earlier on the shoot. - Yes.

When I came on the set and saw those 200 pairs of shoes like on usual catalog shooting I was totally shocked

Because that job's description was something like... "Sporty High Fashion"... lol At least they've said so

I don't know the exact definition but smth like that

They said that it's a really good job. And I thought that I'll pose in each pair of shoes for some small collection...

But there were like 10 colors for each design of shoes

So, the client obviously didn't want to change the shoes' color in Photoshop. They wanted me to pose in each pair of shoes

So, I had to jump wearing those shoes. I had to jump on the trampoline, on the ground, I had to pose in the air, jumping to different sides etc....

I was shocked... And then in the end of the shoot I've been asked to pose like if I was swimming in some kind water in the sea

I was paired with a male-model who had to hold me. The whole idea was us swimming in the sea... They wanted to Photoshop it and make the waves and smth like that

After 8 hours of jumping they wanted me to bend my back like a ballerina

Wel... I've said all of the bad words I knew in Russian language...

If I can recall the guy who's been modeling with me was from Lithuania... And he was swearing on his native language too... - I guess he'd understood you lol

Yes, we've perfectly understood each other lol

The clients were laughing seeing us like that...

But I think they didn't realize how hard it was and it's not OK to ask models to do that lol

How was the result of this shoot?

- Was there that photo with the sea and romantic waves? lol - Unfortunately no.

There were typical catalog pictures

Oh, and they've cut the pictures of us and have put it on the New York background

Background with Japanese sakura...

So, I don't know why they've tortured us, there weren't any photos of the sea at all

- That's sad. - Yes

I've tried to show them that perfect beautiful pose for 30 minutes lol

Transformers Masterpiece MP-33 Inferno (Takara Tomy) - Duration: 28:48.

Hello boys and girls, young and old. Welcome to yet another action figure video review.

Today we'll take a look at Transformers Masterpiece MP-33 Inferno from Takara Tomy!

And as you can see, he comes with a medium box. You see him here in both of his modes.

On the top side of the box you see the typical letters, "Transformers Masterpiece".

On the bottom side of the box you see some warnings.

On the side of the box you see Inferno in his fire-truck mode.

On the other side of the box you see him in his robot mode.

And on the back side of the box you see some product images.

Enough with the box, let's see the accessories of the figure now.

Inferno comes with lots of accessories. First of all, he comes with a second face for the "helmet" he has.

He comes with a second "helmet".

He comes with two faces for this "helmet". A happy face and a normal one.

He comes with an extra barrel.

He comes with a fire hose.

He comes with an extra bumper which is more cartoon accurate.

With this water effect.

With this accessory, we will see its use later.

With these stickers.

With this leaflet.

With his card. A very nice artwork of Inferno here on the card.

Tech specs on the other side of the card.

And of course he comes with the instructions, here they are.

Detailed information of all his accessories.

And of course, his transformation.

And here we have, ladies and gentlemen, Masterpiece Inferno in his awesome vehicle mode!

I am very impressed with his vehicle mode. Very nice!

He has six wheels, they're made of plastic, not rubber material. He has a nice Autobot symbol over here.

This is the storage place of his gun.

You can also place his gun over here, by opening this panel here. Place it in here.

Yea, ok.

You can extend these kickstands. You can also pull these bits out from here. Very nice feature!

You can move the ladder up and down. You can also extend it.

Like this.

There's a panel here. You can bring this accessory out or you can put it through this hole here.

And you can take the water effect, place it on this accessory and now it looks like this.

Excellent feature! Very nice! We have an extra bumper.

This one is cartoon accurate while this one is G1 toy accurate.

If you want to change the bumper just pull it out from its two sides.

You need to have nails to do it.

Here you go.

Place the other bumper.

I will keep Inferno with the cartoon accurate bumper. So let's see a size comparison now.

And here is Masterpiece Inferno next to G2 Masterpiece Sideswipe.

As you can see he is Masterpiece scaled, of course(!), they're both Masterpiece figures! :P

I can say that the scale here is almost correct.

Something that I forgot to mention is that you cannot rotate the ladder, it can only move up and down and you can extend it.

So let's transform Inferno into his robot mode. I will ask my buddy Stefanos to do it, Stefanos?

- Hello from me as well. First, compress the ladder inwards.

Bring it up. "Break" it in half and bring it down.

As you can see here, when you bring the ladder down this panel comes backwards.

Bring the wheels one click backwards and pull them out.

Once you've done it, open these panels.

Bring the arms up, like this.

Bring these panels inwards, I don't know if you can see them from the camera.

They will give us space so the cabin will come up.

Disconnect the legs so the ladder will be released. The ladder tabs from these pegs here.

Once you've done it, bring the legs down.

Bring these pieces backwards.

Lift this piece a little bit up. Rotate the foot. Close this panel. Close this bit as well.

Bring this piece down, push this bit inwards and push this piece to the left.

Do the same thing to the other side as well.

His legs are ready.

I am bringing the camera up so you can see better. Open these panels.

Open this panel as well.

Bring the head out. Bring these "wings" up. Rotate the head 180 degrees.

Now the arms. Rotate them.

Disconnect them from here. They tab in here.

Rotate this piece from here. It has a natural stop so you cannot rotate it further down.

And bring the arm up and connect it in here. Do the same thing to the other side as well.

Bring the arms down so they won't bother us. Bring the torso back from this joint here.

The ladder will get in here.

Connect this piece in here.

The wheels have a small slot here, they will tab with this peg here, I don't know if you can see it from the camera.

The head has a small slot here, bring it down to secure it.

Bring these bits backwards.

Bring the arms down. Open these "wings".

Lift this cannon up, open the "wing" and bring the cannon back down.

And Inferno is ready in his robot mode. I will give you a 360 to see him better.

Excellent figure. Very nice. I liked what Takara did with the engineering with the ladder that goes into the chest.

As appearance, my complain is on his legs, they are too plain, they don't have details etc...of course in the cartoon he was like this

but I don't go with cartoon accuracy. So let's see his articulation now.

His head is on a ball-joint so it can rotate inside this "box" if I can call it like this.

Also, the "box" can be rotated left and right so you can give him nice dynamic poses.

The "wings" can be rotated, you can also move them back and forth, depends what you want to do.

You can move this cannon up and down. You cannot hide it nor you can store it anywhere else.

If you want to move this "wing" here you need to lift up the cannon first.

As you can see it moves with the cannon. His arm can rotate 360 degrees. It can move up until here.

It can rotate at this point, we have more than 90 degrees bend at the elbow.

There is fist rotation, the hand can open-close.

There is also waist rotation. The legs can move back and forth, up and down.

They rotate at the thighs, bend at the knee and the feet can move left and right, up and down because of the transformation.

Very nice articulation!

Also, his barrel, you can replace it with the chromed one.

But because we're going with cartoon accuracy we will keep the white one.

Also, if you don't like the barrel, you can open this panel.

Put the barrel inside here and bring the hand out.

And close it. Also, something smart with the engineering, it doesn't affect the transformation.

The barrel comes out a little bit from here but when you straighten the arm, the barrel hides in here.

And this doesn't affect the articulation of the arm. That's very good!

You can also place the water effect on the barrel. Or you can place the water effect on this cannon.

You can also place the gun in his hand.

He holds it perfectly fine.

Also, Inferno stores two communicators inside his arm. You can take them out, they're being stored in here.

And you can place them in these slots here.

And he will look like he's talking with someone. Nice feature as well. Let's see how we can change his face now.

First we will put this face which is for this "helmet".

To change it, just pull the "helmet" out. And remove the face.

Place the new one.

And place his "helmet" back in.

And now he has an angry look. Now the rest. Remove the "helmet" again.

Place the face of this "helmet" now.

And place the "helmet" back in.

And he looks like this now.

Let me put the other one as well.

Where is it? Excuse me. This one. The happy face.

And he looks like this now.

Personally, I prefer this head more so I will put it back to the original form.

Inferno comes with this fire hose as we saw before.

One of its features is that you can open it from here and you can use it as a claw.

It doesn't have a specific way to hold it...

...just place it in his hand. And you can also place the water effect as well.

This bit here is hanging like this.

Also, as we said before, he comes with this accessory here. Which is used for one purpose. I will show it in a bit.

They put it just for this guy, Red Alert! There was a scene in the cartoon where he held him.

I know that Takara does such crazy things.

So, to place Red Alert, bring this arm backwards, place his lightbar inside this hole here.

One of his legs sits up here. Balance him a bit.

And now Inferno holds Red Alert. Let me remove this accessory and put his bumper back.

So let's see a size comparison now.

- Here is Masterpiece Inferno next to Masterpiece Red Alert, next to Masterpiece Bumblebee and next to Masterpiece Wheeljack.

And here is Inferno next to Masterpiece Ironhide, next to Generation Toy Jazz and next to Masterpiece Optimus Prime.

As you can see the scale is very good. Excellent figures, all of them!

So let's transform Inferno back into his vehicle mode, Stefanos?

- First, bring the arms to the front...

...so we can see what we're doing.

Bring these bits to the front. Open the wheels from here and bring them down.

Lift the head up. Open this piece and bring the ladder down.

Bring the cabin down. Lift the cannon up to bring the "wings" to the front.

Rotate the head. Now the arms. Disconnect them. Rotate them backwards.

This bit here will tab in here.

Rotate them like this. Do the same thing to the other side as well.

Bring the "wings" down as much as you can and put the head inside here.

Close this panel. Close these bits as well.

Bring the ladder up. And now we will work on the legs. Push these bits inwards.

Open this piece. Bring this bit up. Open these two panels and rotate the foot.

Close this bit and do the same thing to the other side as well.

Open these bits and bring them to the sides, like this.

And bring his legs backwards.

Bring the ladder down and these slots will sit on these pegs here.

And then connect the ladder with the legs, like this.

Bring the arms and the cabin down. Push slightly everything so they will tab fine.

Close these panels, this peg will tab into this hole here.

Open these panels outwards. Finally, bring the wheels inwards and up, like this.

Lift the ladder up. Extend it now. Take his gun and store it in here.

And Masterpiece Inferno is back into his vehicle mode.

- Final thoughts... very smart engineering. I liked what Takara did with the ladder that fits into Inferno's chest.

Nice transformation, good plastic quality, many accessories,

very cartoon accurate figure, one of the best Masterpiece figures so far.

I liked him very much, that's all from me, Stefanos?

- Very nice figure, indeed the engineering with the ladder is outstanding.

Lots of accessories, I would prefer if he had more details in both of his modes.

But this depends on what you like. For what they give us, it's very good!

How The Ancient Silk Road Pioneered Globalization - Duration: 3:26.

"Globalization" is a term that has been thrown around a lot lately, especially in

light of President Donald Trump's opposition to trade deals and the UK's decision to

leave the European Union.

In the simplest terms, a globalized economy is the circulation of goods across many different

countries.

At your local grocery store, you can purchase tea from India, mangoes from Brazil, figs

from Turkey or coffee from Ethiopia all in the same place.

Manufactured goods, like a t-shirt, have likely already charted multiple oceans before making

it to retail shelves.

That's all thanks to globalization.

And it's great system for the consumer.

It means low prices, greater variety, and an all-around higher standard of living.

To understand how globalization works, many economists still point to one of humanity's

first endeavors in international trade: the silk road.

The Silk Road wasn't the beginning of trade, but it did expand it exponentially.

In the centuries leading up to the formation of the Silk Road, civilizations remained largely

isolated, due to geographical boundaries and fear of the unknown.

However around the second century BC, China and central Asia began to share goods and

ideas through nomadic tribes.

This eventually expanded into a complex network of land and sea trade routes, stretching from

the Mediterranean, to India, and even to southeast Asia.

A slew of different goods were transported along the Silk Road, but the most common was,

unsurprisingly, silk.

This material had a huge effect on any society that came in contact with it.

The Chinese had a complete monopoly on silk, as they were the only people who knew how

to make it.

So when the material was introduced to Roman elite, who loved it for its lightness and

air of promiscuity, demand skyrocketed.

As the market grew, more and more working class Chinese moved into silk production.

Like modern globalization, the Silk Road also ushered in a merging of languages, religions

and cultures.

Along with goods like spices and textiles, merchants from India brought Buddhism to China

and Japan, where it remains a dominant religion today.

Nomads from Arabia brought Islam to South Asia, paving the way for the religion's

influence in Malaysia, Indonesia and other modern states.

In fact, many historians argue that the greatest impact of the Silk Road was not the spread

of products but the spread of ideas.

The Silk Road was hugely beneficial for early civilizations.

It meant greater overall wealth, rapid advancements in art and technology and increasing diplomacy

among early world powers.

However today, some argue that globalization has gone too far.

An interconnected economy often means a loss of cultural distinctiveness, along with traditions

and even entire languages.

A great example of this is currency.

For ease of trade and commerce, much of Europe has abandoned their national denominations

in favor of the Euro.

Many countries have done the same to adopt the US dollar.

Globalization has already led to the death of thousands of languages, leading some experts

to predict that by the year 2100, only half of modern dialects will still exist.

The Silk Road left an immutable impact, affecting civilizations that weren't even directly connected

to it.

Merchants who charted the route stopped for goods in villages, which eventually became

huge cities, like Venice, Istanbul and Aleppo.

Faiths like Christianity, Islam and Buddhism saw a much greater reach, eventually becoming

three of the world's largest religions.

Whether or not you agree that globalization is good, its influence in the daily lives

of every human cannot be understated.

Today, China is looking to connect Asia and Europe through a "new silk road".

To find out more about the initiative, check out this video.

Demons Caught On CCTV - Duration: 3:19.

Demons. They're a fairly common topic in horror movies you see on the big screen,

but what most people don't realize is that demons are a cross cultural

phenomenon that date back centuries in human civilization.

3. Possessed Girl Found in Subway

This video was taken a few years back while two young gentlemen were exploring San Francisco as they first enter the underground tunnel,

only to be caught off guard by strange noises emanating from behind a large trunk. One of the guys sees something on the ground and picks it up,

only to discover that it is a tooth.

As they inch toward the trunk they see a young woman crouched behind it with blood ebbing from her mouth.

Suddenly the young woman starts to flail around and point upward, screaming. She begins to stab herself with what appears to be a pencil, and then charges

toward the two men who run away, scared for their very lives.

2. Possessed Woman in Store

This video is from a closed circuit surveillance camera inside a Chinese supermarket. A woman is seen casually walking down the aisle when something falls off the

shelf behind her. She turns and when she puts it back on the shelf, it seems she is suddenly overcome by an unseen, supernatural force.

She begins to pant and shift her body back and forth as though she were trying to shake something off.

As she collapses to her knees, a concerned shopper slowly approaches her. The video cuts to the woman again,

still on the ground but surrounded by a couple of shoppers who attempt to help her.

Suddenly the woman lashes out and lunges towards one of the shoppers.

The man leans back, but an unseen force flies out of the woman and shakes the nearby shelves

it even temporarily disrupts the camera feed.

1. Man Possessed in a Market

This video is of a man who is looking at produce and products at a small market store.

As the man opens the door to a refrigerated unit, he suddenly begins to shake and seize in place.

He immediately drops what he grabbed and starts rolling his head around as he spreads his fingers out by his waist.

The man begins to shriek and turn his head

as though something frightening is enveloping him and he's trying to remove it from his body.

The man clutches at his chest and continues to shake all over.
