Welcome back to another episode of What I eat in a day

I just took a shower that´s why my hair is a little bit wet

I feel like in this light I look very heavenly

For breakfast I´m having this huge smoothie

It´s very good

It has 2 raw carrots chopped, to help the blender out

2 bananas, a little bit of cinnamon

1 tbsp flaxseed and 1/2 cup amaranth

***THIS IS POPPED AMARANTH THAT I BOUGHT IN MY LOCAL MARKET

It tastes...

It´s so good

There´s a little bird singing here

Can you hear it? Little bird...

Today I´m gonna be working on the computer

Not all day but right now I´m gonna be doing some computer work

While I´ll be enjoying my smoothie

I had breakfast and did some things

I hope the fridge isn´t making too much noise

Today is one of those days that I didn´t buy anything to eat

So right here I have some beans from a couple of days ago

Some rice from a couple of days ago as well...

I have some broccoli here that I´ll be munching on while I clean this

I have a rotten onion here...

I´m just gonna cut this part off, I have some tomatoes

this is clean so it´s ok

And I think I have some spinach in the fridge

So I´m just gonna sauté this veggies

And eat them with rice and beans

Since I love onion I´m gonna add more onion here...

And I think I´m gonna go and buy some more veggies later

I added like 3 tomatoes and this smells so good

I´m gonna add some spinach

And I need to buy more ingredients cause I have nothing left

But you can always improvise

A little bit of salt and pepper

Done... I´m gonna add some beans

I´ll serve some rice here

I know it´s not the best but I´m gonna heat this up in the microwave

And I´m gonna serve this here

I´m gonna put some avocado over the rice cause who doesn´t love avo and rice together?

It´s one of my favorite combos

This wasn´t like the cutest avo but it was good

And I´m gonna add some Sriracha to the beans and veggies

And now the food is ready

Had a second serving of rice, beans, veggies, Sriracha and avo

I went out to do some things

And just after eating I always like to eat something sweet

And almost always I have raisins and peanuts

So I was munching on that

And I went out and got back

And today is a very hot day here in Mexico City

And this is one of those days when I just want to have smoothies

And I was craving something with chocolate and yummy

So I had this little monster

That has bananas, strawberries

Cacao powder and amaranth

And it was so delicious

So good. I thought this was gonna be computer day but no, I´ve been out doing stuff

But right now I need to do some computer work so I´ll see you later

I was gonna eat dinner without showing you guys

So this is dinner

This is just one apple chopped with some cinnamon and peanuts

I wanted to eat something light

I´m finishing with some computer stuff

But now I´m gonna eat this

And we´re on our evening thoughts time

And today I wanted to talk about this topic

At the end of last year, around November

An independent filmmaker sent me an email

His name is Eri Daniel Erlich, I hope I said it right

He´s 37 years old, was born in Ecuador but has lived most of his life in Israel

And he made this film called Life According to Ohad

It´s the story about a vegan activist from Israel

And his conflict with his family

Of not knowing how to express to his family all this things he´s seen in the slaughter houses

So Eri contacted me because maybe I´d be interested in watching his movie

At first I honestly didn´t want to watch it because I thought this was gonna be Earthlings all over again

Or like some other movie that show the reality of slaughter houses in a very raw way

And this movie was more than just that

This was more about Ohad´s personal conflict

Of not knowing how to get to his family and showing them all this things he knew

So they could make that connection with the animals

And I thought this was a very interesting way to show

How Ohad decides not to give up on his family

Ohad´s been away from his family for a couple of years now

They always tried to maintain a dialogue but just didn´t know exactly how

And then frustration comes up between both Ohad and his family

And at the beginning I was like: I don´t like this!

But in the end I got very surprised in a good way

I think that the ending was very encouraging

The way both parts ended up reacting to the situation

And as Eri was saying he decided to make this movie because

He´s also vegan, he´s been vegan for 22 years now

He went vegan after he watched The Animals Film

I´m gonna link it below

And he was saying that he wanted to open a dialogue

Of what would be the best way to expose this situation to our family and friends

Because this is such a sensitive topic and very controversial

And sometimes we just want to take it easy

And touching these topics, showing the evidence

To our family and friends

So they can understand the horrible things the industry is doing

And not showing us the truth

Can be very hard

The things that happen in the food industry worldwide

And see how we can maybe make this world a better place at least in a very small way

And he also wants to open dialogue with the people that don´t know how to approach the subject

With their non vegan family and friends

That don´t understand us but at the same time we don´t understand them

And then everything´s just a battle of dialogue, perspectives and points of view

In the end Ohad finally gets to connect with his family

And to me this represents hope

For this sad situation of everything we´re doing to our planet, to the animals and to ourselves

Through unseen activities that the industry keeps secret and locked away

I thought this was a very honest approach

And I also understand what it´s like to be an independent filmmaker

Even more talking about these topics

So for me I got to understand Eri in another level as well

So I also wanted to support another fellow artist so to speak

Some of you may not know but I´m an actress, I went to Theatre and Film School

So I can totally understand how hard it is to finish and to distribute an independent film

And even harder talking about these controversial topics that people don´t want to hear about

So I would invite you to see his film if you want to

I think this is a very honest movie with the intention of creating a dialogue

Without imposing anything

From my personal point of view this is a very low price

And I think that supporting Eri´s cause, Ohad´s cause that it´s also my cause

Which is helping the animals, helping the planet and helping ourselves

I believe it´s worth it

So this was just an invitation in case you want to watch the movie

With these topics that tend to be quite controversial

So this was my invitation and part of our evening thoughts

There are lots of times when we want to say things that we´re afraid to say

Because we´re afraid of how people will react

Because maybe people will reject or judge us

As I was saying in another video, we have a deal you and me

The deal of being ourselves

I still stand on that deal

And this is more than just being ourselves in this Channel but being ourselves all the time

And expressing ourselves as long as we´re not harming anyone else

And let´s just say whatever we need to say and let our imagination fly

And just expressing ourselves without thinking of what people may think

Sounds so easy and old but quite complicated sometimes

It´s simple just not so easy to do

And I just wanna be in this mode of Eri and Ohad

Seeing things as the are and keeping our positions strong

And if you want to say someone how much you miss him or her just go and say it

And if you need to quit your job and do something else then do it

Life is too short indeed to be too worried about what people think

We really need to remember more often how wonderful life is

And it´s too short and in the end nothing else will happen if you make a mistake

If you make a mistake you´ll still learn so either way you´ll win

So this was our evening thoughts time

I thought this wasn´t too... this is kinda hard sometimes but allright

Everything happened when my parents started to work together

My father was single

My mum was divorced and she had a child, my sister Elisabeth

They liked eachother and they decided to go live together in Barcelona

Some time later my mum became pregnant

It was October 13th 1995, my parents where celebrating my father's birthday

And my mom told him they couldn't ask for the dessert cause she needed to go to the hospital

And October 14th, 1995 early morning I was born

The funny thing is that my mom was born on october 14th too and and if we remember my dad was born on october 13th we can say that I was...

Their birthday gift

I've always been told that when I learn how to crawl I used to use both my hands and one leg but I didn't use the other one

and that they used to dress me with my sisters pj's so I wouldn't hurt my knee

When I was a kid I was a smart, affectionate and extroverted child

I had lots of friends and I used to spend all summer at my grandparent's playing all day

But when I was around 8 years old I started to become shy and reserved

Also in that moment I started dance classes, I love those I regret I stopped them

When I was 10 I was gifted a cat for my birthday

And we decided to choose it's name by voting

And the name that won was "Twenty two"

I got mad and I decided to choose the name myself and I called him "Rosset"

When I started 6th grade I made a nice group of friends and I started to get good grades

but then problems started...

My mum was diagnosed with cancer

My grandma, who had been sick for some years, passed away

And due to doctors, hospitals and my dad going with my mom

my sister and I had to adapt to the situation

She went to live with her father and I went to my grandparents house

Where there was nothing to do so I just studied

And the November of that year, my mum passed away

After that everything became a bit chaotic

My sister went to live with her father permanently

And my father and I moved to a small town close to Tarragona

And I asked my sister to keep the cat so...

It was just my father and I

I started " la ESO" (7th grade) in a new city, a new school with new people

And even tho I made some friends

I still prefered to be at home during my free time

That time I decided to go to art classes for the first time

I also kept hanging out with the friends I had when I was a kid

We used to spend afternoons and nights together and we went to concerts of our favourite bands

My father also found his first girlfriend and they fell in love again and got in a relationship

They are still together and she is really important for me

When I finished "la ESO" (4 years long, 12-16) I started "ell Bachillerato arístico" (2 years long, 16-18yo)

I made a new group of friends but it broke appart when people started to drop out

Until we were just 3: Julia, Ana and I

But then Julia left too

So it was just Ana and I

Who I still consider almost a sister

We started "2º de bachillerato" together and we made a new group of friends

But this one fell appart too

And on the other hand I started to feel really awkward and uncomfortable around my childhood friends

That and all the pressure of the studies made me get really anxious and I ended up isolated

But I made it and I gratuated

And I went to art school to study illustration

But I didn't make it so I chose a painting grade instead

And that year was awful, I hated all about that grade and I just wished it'd finish fast

And finally, when I finished I asked to be in illustration again and this time I made it

In illustration is where I met Laura, who is one of my best friends now

And she introduced me to Jess

And now we all three have a chat group where we talk 24/7

And sometimes we decide to hang out and we stay together for 4 days long

Also, one day, my sister called me and she surprised me telling me she was pregnant

And some months ago the baby was born so now I am an aunt!

I don't know what to expect from the future but I hope it's all good things

And this is my "Draw my life"

Hello!! Welcome to La Cocina de Broumery

Today we will make some delicious and very spongy pancakes

We will not use blender

we will do it with a hand beater

and we will be super delicious and you will see how easy it is to do them !!!!!

Ingredients

320ml whole milk

250g whole wheat flour

2 eggs L

¼ tsp salt

1 ½ tsp yeast or baking powder

1½ tsp vanilla essence

5 tablespoons of sugar

30g butter

This recipe is for 10 pancakes

We mix the flour, yeast and salt

In another bowl beat the eggs and when they have a lighter color

add the sugar and continue beating until they are well integrated

then add the milk

vanilla

melted butter

and continue stiring

Finally add the flour in two parts and continue stiring until well mixed

When we have this texture will be ready to mix our mixture to start making our delicious pancakes

so we let it stand for 10 minutes

In a frying pan place it on a medium heat and add a little oil sunflower

and we pass a paper to spread it

now with the help of a spoon we add the mixture

and when we see that they are made small bubbles is that it is already done

That we turn it over and let it be done on the other side

Once it is ready on both sides we remove it and we continue doing it

And here are our delicious pancakespancakes, we can eat with whatever we want

syrups of different flavors, jam, nutella, whatever you prefer

Arancini de riz intégral et petits pois| Riches en protéines - sélénium - Duration: 5:11.

Hello and welcome to my kitchen

today I am going to prepare Arancini

which are rice balls stuffed with peas

ingredients: brown rice (500g / 17.5oz, cooked in 1 L / 34 fl oz of water with saffron and salt)

when cooked, add a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

stuffing ingredients: green peas (300g/10.5oz), tomatoes (300g/10.5oz, diced)

sun-dried tomatoes (2 tablespoons, minced), salt and pepper

cook the stuffing ingredients in a pan for a few minutes

Tomatoes must be well cooked

Cooked rice should get very sticky

let it cool down and make rice balls with your hands

make some room for the stuffing

and fill it with a tablespoon of peas and tomatoes

cover with more rice

this small rice ball is known as Arancino (small orange) in Italy

cover the Arancino with a layer of flour-water mixture

(2 tablespoons of flour for 100ml/3.4 fl oz of water and some turmeric)

turmeric is optional but it adds color to the dish

cover with a layer of breadcrumbs

now it's time to fry the Arancini

Following my instructions you will obtain about 7 Arancini

you can make different sizes of Arancini of course

fry in hot olive oil

Our Arancini are ready

they are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside

Are Protein Supplements Necessary To Build Muscles? - Duration: 1:08.

Welcome Back.

So today we are taking another question which is from Bhavin Patel and he is asking whether

protein supplements are required to build muscles.

So, protein requirement of an adult individual is around 1g/Kg body weight.

SO if you weigh around 60Kg your protein requirement will become 60g per da.

And if you workout this requirement might go up.

That depends on what kind of workout are you doing and at what intensity are you doing.

In India, we do not take enough protein through our diet and hence, protein supplements become

very important to meet up this protein deficit.

If we are non-vegetarian, we can definitely meet up our protein requirement through diet

that is through lean meat and good quality proteins.

But, for vegetarians it becomes mandatory to take protein supplements while they are

working out (eg: whey supplements) so that they meet up their protein requirement to

build muscle.

Always consider consulting your Registered Dietician before taking any kind of supplements.

She will help you as to how and when to take those supplements.

I got asked to do a wheelie tutorial somewhere in the comments and I accidentally said "yes"

technically there are 100 other tutorials out there but whatever - lets do another one

I'll try to keep it simple lets start with bike setup

saddle position: medium

if it's too high I can't balance to the side and if it's too low it's feeling uncomfortable to ride

what gear?: I got 11 gears and I also chose the middle one

but that depends on personal preference

However it's important to have a good working rear brake for when you fall over

flat pedals make things easier and hardtails aren't bad

to answer the question "can I do a wheelie with bike "xyz" " - yes probably...

if it's not a beachcruiser or even weirder sort of bicycle it should be fine

with some bikes it's easier to learn with other harder... but once you mastered it you'll be able to do it with every bike

for practicing every flat area is good enough

a little uphill is even better but not essential

well then.. step 1

lets pretend we're pedaling somewhere.. leaning towards the front..

over the bars.. and with an explosive movement the whole thing gets started

as soon as you are near the balance point - try to keep your position by pedaling

that's it basically... I'll show you

A common mistake is that people don't build up momentum and just pull the bars and pedal..

they'll get pretty fast and have to drop down soon

well but not anymore - now you know

Well... if you got this dialed you'll notice that the balance to the side is the key task...

I think the best way to keep the balance is by using the knees

same as doing a trackstand

like a chicken

you have to teach your brain "if this happens - do that"

that's a huge cybernetic effort and takes some time... how much depends on the rider

already while starting I'm balancing with my knees

so I mostly use the knees for balancing but you can also do a little bit of steering

but there's no trick to learn that...just practive...

At Community Music, 'I Want To Be A Music Teacher' or 'I Want To Teach Music'

are statements that get brought up quite a lot.

- Although it is not unrealistic to want to become a music teacher, being mentally prepared

for this career path is the thing that will actually gear you forward to becoming one.

- So, we are here to ask you some questions that you may not have thought about, hopefully

helping you to a clearer vision, enabling you to embark on your journey towards becoming

a music teacher.

- Firstly, this may be the most obvious question but it it will probably be the hardest one

to answer.

And that is:

- Why Do You Want To Be A Music Teacher?

- 'For the money' is not a legitimate answer.

- If that was your first though, then teaching probably isn't for you.

- Think about the first time you said to yourself "I want to be a music teacher'?

- Once you have established why you want to become a music teacher, the following questions

will hone in on the specifics of music teaching.

- Next up is:

- Are You Qualified?

- Different levels of teaching require different levels of qualification in order to do so.

- Check out our video 'How Long Does It Take To Become A Music Teacher' which gives

you a breakdown of what qualifications you need for different types of teaching and how

long it takes to acquire them.

- What Difficulty Level Do You Want To Teach At?

- You may want to teach according to a curriculum in Schools where the maximum difficulty level

- Or you may thrive in the element of teaching to a large number of people on a subject you're

passionate about.

- It depends on how you feel you teach best.

- Some people are great teachers in small classes but get nervous and shy in front of

larger groups.

- What Age Range (If Any) Do You Want To Teach To?

- For teaching in schools, you will be teaching to age ranges and not by ability & in many

cases, people who may not even care about the subject.

- For certain age ranges, you will also need an enhanced DBS check.

- Saying 'I want to be a music teacher' comes with all of these other questions and

more.

- You may feel that you're ready to teach so now is the time to think about all the

rest that comes with it.

- You need to be mentally prepared for a career in teaching so it's best to get a head start

now!

- Saying 'I want to be a music teacher' is a great start to becoming one BUT as you

are probably well aware after this video, there is a lot more to think about.

start your new career path.

OK, it's time for a major glow up so let's get started!

Wow!

No, no (sneeze).

We all know how much I love glitter, but I hate how messy it is.

Whenever I use it, it just flies everywhere and even days later I end up finding it

allover the apartment. Ugh, so annoying!

Luckily I learned how to press my glitters, which makes them so easy to use and not messy at all.

First you have to chose a glitter that you want to press.

I'm going for this beautiful dark blue.

Besides glitter you will also need a bit of a rubbing alcohol, glycerin and aloe vera gel.

Take the glitter, pour it in an eyeshadow tin or pot and distribute it evenly.

Suck some alcohol into a syringe and squeeze it in the glitter pot.

You should have enough alcohol to cover the entire container.

And don't worry if you put in too much because alcohol will evaporate eventually.

Next you want to add 5 to 6 drops of glycerin.

I'm using a dropper to do that, but syringe or a simple spoon should do the trick.

Lastly we need to add a bit of aloe vera gel and mix it well to distribute evenly around the container.

Leave the alcohol to evaporate completely, which can take up to a day.

Once the product is all dry, you are left with the amazing pressed glitter, which is

so much more practical and easy to apply than the usual loose version.

You can use your pressed glitters exactly like eyeshadows, they are not messy at all,

but smooth to apply and great for travel.

I also made one in yellow, and I seriously want to press all the other glitters that I own.

They are so convenient.

Nothing is better than a cool glitter eye makeup and now I can make it way more often,

because I know I won't have to deal with all the glitter mess afterwards.

How amazing are these glitter eyes, right?!

There's so many other color combos I want to try so I better start pressing more of

my glitters right away!

Ok, maybe it's not that bad, maybe it's not that bad!

Epic fail at the hairdresser's - we've probably all been there before, right?

If you want to give your hair some funky colored transformation but aren't sure how it will

look on you, a great idea is to dye it temporarily first.

And guess what – to do that you can use your regular eyeshadows.

I know it's hard to believe that you can dye your hair with eyeshadows, but trust me, they

work like a dream! Grab an eyeshadow of your choice.

I went for blue, because you know - it's my favorite color.

Take a hair strand, press the eyeshadow against it like this and start moving down towards

the hair tips. Look at this color payoff!

Isn't it completely mind blowing?

Let's try it with purple as well.

Grab a strand and press the purple shadow towards it.

Pull the eyeshadow down and check this out!

Wash off hairsprays are super expensive and hair chalk is quite hard to find.

But we all have eyeshadows at home already and they are so affordable!

This life hack is perfect for parties, festivals, carnivals, Halloween or just every day.

When you wash your hair the colors will get right off.

It is great if you want to switch up the color of your hair, but are not sure which shade

will look the best on you.

And no worries this totally works on darker hair too – just make sure to use very pigmented

eyeshadows! Go grab some eyeshadows and let the fun begin!

Glitter lips have been a huge trend lately – I saw them on the runways, in music videos

and all over the internet.

Creating a beautiful sparkly lip by patting the glitter on can be quite time consuming

so instead let's make some gorgeous glitter lipsticks!

Make a double boiler by pouring some water into a pan.

Then place in some smaller heat proof pots.

I'm making 3 different lipsticks so 3 pots for me.

Now grab some coconut oil and put about half a teaspoon in each of the pots.

Since coconut oil is very soft we also need to add two to three pieces of beeswax in each

of the containers. This is how we make a lipstick from scratch.

However if you don't have coconut oil or beeswax feel free to simply melt a plain lip balm.

It will work just as great.

Alright it's time to add that beautiful sparkly gorgeousness aka glitter.

I'm going to make green, pink and silver glitter lipsticks.

Pour a generous amount of glitter into each of the bowls and stir the mixture so that

all ingredients incorporate evenly.

How stunning do these look already – absolutely magical.

All we got to do now is pour these glitter liquids in some lipstick containers or lip

balm pots and leave them to cool down completely.

This shouldn't take long at all - about 3 to 5 minutes.

But if you want to speed up the cooling process, pop your lipsticks in the fridge and you're

ready to use them in no time.

Check out how gorgeous they are!

I honestly love them so much.

The pink one turned out to be super wearable, while the silver lipstick makes your lips

look like an epic disco ball!

Pretty cool for a party or some special festivities.

The key to achieving those gorgeous opaque glitter lips is to use a lot of glitter in your lipsticks.

I also made some multi colored lipsticks where I alternated between all the three colors

while pouring in the mixtures.

It's very important that you are using non toxic glitter or even better edible glitter.

Al in all, these glitter lipsticks were so easy and affordable to make yet they

turned out fantastic. Love them!

You can even pour the mixtures in a lip balm pot and get a gorgeous glittery lipstick wheel.

How cool right?!

Looks familiar?

Right when you're in a desperate need of an eyeliner, you run out of it.

Well, don't stress out girl, because I got your back.

Instead of liquid eyeliners you can use liquid lipsticks!

The best part is that they come in a ton of fun shades so I decided to try out a multi-colored

eyeliner look, starting with a hot pink.

Take an eyeliner brush, load it with some product and you can draw your cat line as usual.

I applied it on the outer part of my eye.

Liquid lipsticks are long lasting, don't smudge and they are easy to apply which makes them

perfect to use as eyeliners.

If you want to make a classic black cat eye you can simply dip your brush in a mascara.

But If you want to create a funky colored line, then liquid lipsticks are absolutely amazing.

I mean look at these epic colors.

Besides hot pink I also used blue, purple and light pink.

I love how they look together.

Who would have thought, right?

Experimenting with makeup is seriously the best thing ever.

You can stick with one lipstick shade and make a solid bright colored eyeliner look,

which is very wearable but still looks very cool.

Or you can go all out making a multi colored bright liner.

This one is perfect for a night out with friends, festival, birthday celebrations or other fun events.

And of course there's no limit in make up, you can wear whatever you like and whenever you like.

Rock this cool eyeliner tidying up your house or gardening, because who says you can't?!

Boring.

Boring.

Boring.

Hmm...

I know!

Why wear a plain lipstick, when you can rock these epic polka dot lips?!

They are super simple to make and look amazing!

Grab any lipstick of your choice and apply it on the lips as usual.

I went for classic red, but literally any color will work!

To make the white dots I'm going to use a white liquid eyeliner.

Take a bobby pin and dip its tip in the liquid eyeliner.

Now you can easily make the perfect white dots all over your lips.

Bobby pin works like a stamp.

What a great trick right?!

If you don't have a white liquid eyeliner, you can use a black one, or even the usual

pencil liners.

Just have fun experimenting and see what works best!

I like the liquid eyeliners because they are very opaque and make the dots really vibrant.

These polka dot lips look so retro and pin-up inspired to me.

No lipstick could ever make your lips so extra and cool.

This simple lip art is perfect for a party, carnival or Halloween.

But you can have so much fun trying different makeup looks every day.

I mean who doesn't like playing dress up all year around, right?

Impossible!

Come on, ugh!

Same old story – Me trying to pack too many things into a suitcase.

It happens every single time.

Luckily there's a great traveling hack, that will make our life so much easier.

You can turn straws into cute little packages that will store all your skincare and beauty necessities.

To make these grab a straw – I went for a pink one and cut it in half.

Take a bobby pin and slide it on the straw, leaving a bit of space between the straw end

and the pin. Next light a candle.

Bring the straw close to the candle flame and move it slowly back and forth to melt

the straw edge.

The heat melts the plastic and seals the opening together making our straw package completely waterproof.

It's time to grab lotions, moisturizers, shampoos etc. and fill up the little containers.

Now we have to repeat the sealing technique on the other side as well.

Melt the opening using a candle and your waterproof packets are ready to travel the world with you.

A good idea is also to write what is inside on the package so you don't mess up and end

up washing your teeth with a moisturizer or something like that.

This is seriously a genius traveling hack!

Especially when you are going away for just a few days and you don't want to bring all

the bulky beauty and skincare products with you.

An old man once told me at the airport, if he could go back in time the only thing he

would change in his life is to travel more and travel lighter.

This life hack makes it possible to travel light even for us girls that need a bunch

of beauty products to survive every day.

Look, my mom got me a new lip gloss!

Wow, it's so pretty!

I know, I'm so happy!

My mom got me a lip gloss too.

Really?!

Oh yeah, it's transparent.

But don't worry, we can fix it.

Really?

That's right, you can always pimp up your transparent or poorly pigmented glosses!

I'm going to transform mine into a gorgeous sparkly lip magic.

All you need is nontoxic glitter of your choice and a clear lip gloss.

To make the mixing part easier you can DIY a little paper funnel and place it in the

gloss opening.

It's time to have fun choosing the glitter color.

This always takes ages because they are all so pretty!

In the end I decided to go for this amazing silver that changes colors depending on how

the light hits it.

You can see everything from pink, purple, green and blue reflections.

So gorgeous!

Alright, let's pour the glitter in the lip gloss container.

Put the little plastic lid in the opening and your glitter lip gloss is all done!

You may need to shake it a bit so that the glitter distributes evenly throughout the

container and this is how the finished product looks like.

You can wear it on its own or you can apply it over a lipstick of any color.

Since this gloss is transparent, it won't affect the color of the lipststick, it will

just add a beautiful shine and sparkle to the lips.

Let's make another glitter lip gloss, which besides giving sparkles to the lips,

also adds color!

Grab a transparent lip gloss, some glitter, and an old eyeshadow.

This time I decided to make a pinky glitter gloss, so I chose pink glitter.

You guys made fun of me in the comments of last video saying that I have an obsession

with glitter and galaxy and you're right.

I do have a problem, it's serious.

Just as we did before, we have to pour our glitter into the tube.

To give our gloss a nice pink pigmentation, we need an old pink eyeshadow or loose pigment.

Scrape some of the eyeshadow on a piece of paper and the more shadow you use, the more

pigmented your lip gloss will be.

That's enough for me so let's pour it into our lip gloss container.

If your shadow gets stuck in the funnel like mine, a toothpick comes in very handy.

There we go, place on the little cap, mix the ingredients together and you are ready

to use your new lip gloss.

Besides the beautiful sparkly glitter and shine, this one will also give your lips a

pretty rosy color.

I am in love with both of these lip glosses and not going to lie – I literally want

to make one using every single glitter that I own.

Here you can see the swatches – our pink glitter gloss gives sparkle and rosy color,

while the silver one gives us just the sparkle.

This makes it perfect for layering on top of any kind of lipsticks.

With this lip gloss you will in a way double your lipstick collection, because for every

lipstick color that you own, you will now have a sparkly stardust version as well.

How brilliant is that!

Um... I got something to tell you, I know you may not agree but I'm old enough and I wanted

this for years, so...

Well, I got a tattoo!

If you want to get a tattoo, but your mom doesn't let you or you're afraid to commit

to it for the rest of your life, a great idea is to try a temporary tattoo first.

I'll show you how you can DIY your own metallic flash tattoo.

Take a pencil eyeliner.

You can a black one, colored or metallic one like I did.

First you need to draw your design on the skin.

I decided to make a henna inspired tattoo on my hand.

I started making some silver dots along my middle finger and up my hand.

Then I took a golden bronze eyeliner and draw a V shape and so on.

You can be really creative and make so many different designs.

And the best part is that if you mess it up, simply erase your errors with a makeup remover.

I also drew some triangles, dots and lines to finish up my tattoo.

When you're happy with the design, take a hairspray and spray it allover your tattoo.

The hairspray will make it way more long lasting and will prevent smudging.

How cool is that!

Such metallic tattoos have been so popular lately and I think they look stunning.

Especially in the summer with a bit of a tan.

If you're attending any music festivals this year they are definitely a must have accessory.

You can also make your own tattoos using liquid eyeliners, which will make them even more

vibrant and long lasting.

All in all I think this DIY is a bomb and I'm obsessed with it!

You're not allowed to wear it!

And what is this?!

A transparent mascara! Is this a joke?!

You're too young for makeup! I told you many times!

Your mom doesn't let you wear makeup either?

Guess what, I'll show you three different ways to turn a plain and boring transparent

lip balm into a beautiful tinted one!

The 3 easiest ways to give color to a lip balm is by using lipstick shavings, food coloring

or eyeshadow pigment.

Make a double boiler by pouring water into a pan and placing in some smaller heat proof bowls.

Grab a plain lip balm, and pull it out of its container.

Pop the lip balm into a double boiler.

I have three containers as I'll show you three different versions.

Here I'm taking a piece of my mom's lipstick, hoping that she will never notice, and popping

it into one of the melting pots.

In the next container I'm adding a bit of eyeshadow pigment.

In the last bowl I'm pouring some food coloring in a dust form, because it mixes with oils

better than liquid or gel food coloring.

Leave the tinted lip balm mixtures to melt completely.

You'll notice how the lipstick, pigment and food coloring will start giving a beautiful

tint to our lip balm.

Give all the three a quick little stir to distribute the color evenly and now you can

take them off the heat.

Pour the mixtures into a lipstick tube or lip balm pot and leave them to cool down completely.

I love how they turned out!

Think about how many different colored tinted lip balms you can make.

There's a huge variety of food colorings and you can get eyeshadow pigments in pretty much

any possible color too.

So you can really have a ton of fun creating different tinted lip balms.

They will make your lips soft and pretty, because they contain all the nourishing benefits

of a lip balm.

And since a bit of color never hurt nobody, they will also give your lips a bit of that

pretty rosy, red or violet sheen.

I always need to have a lip balm with me wherever I go and if it also makes my lips pretty and

colored, even better!

Honey, do you know what happened to my lipstick?!

Our tinted lip balms are looking amazing but it's time to fix the clear mascara as well.

To do that I'm going to be using – you guessed it – glitter!

Open up your transparent mascara and remove the little plastic cap.

Grab a paper funnel and place it in the opening.

Chose your favorite glitter – you can go for one solid color, or you can totally experiment

and mix different glitter shades for a fun sparkly colorful explosion.

In the end I decided to keep it classic and went for silver glitter.

You guys know the drill – simply pour the glitter in the tube.

The more glitter you use, more sparkly your lashes will be.

Remove the funnel and place the plastic cap back on.

Grab your mascara wand and you are ready to use this gorgeous sparkly mascara!

I was quite skeptical when making this DIY because I didn't really know how the mascara

will turn out and how the product will apply on the lashes.

But OMG this DIY is one of my favorites because the mascara applies so lovely on the lashes

and it gives the most beautiful sparkle to the eyes.

I was actually surprised how wearable this turned out.

For me this is perfect for any party, a festival and honestly also every day.

It really does not look over the top at all and the glitters aren't super visible

they just give those pretty reflective sparkles when they catch the light.

I love clear mascaras as you can literally make anything out of them.

They are like a blank canvas and allow you to have so much fun creating something new

and epic.

If you want to make a black mascara simply mix in a bit of black eyeshadow.

For colored mascaras use colorful eyeshadows or pigments.

Sky is the limit!

I love my silver glitter mascara and I will wear it loads for sure

There are no rules in makeup.

Mix it, match it and most of all, have a lot of fun with it!

Liquid lipsticks as eyeliners, glitter mascaras, eyeshadows as hair dye.

Who says you can't do it!?

Break out of established patterns and look at things in a different way.

There's a whole new world waiting for you on the other side of the ordinary.

Everything happened when my parents started to work together

My father was single

My mum was divorced and she had a child, my sister Elisabeth

They liked eachother and they decided to go live together in Barcelona

Some time later my mum became pregnant

It was October 13th 1995, my parents where celebrating my father's birthday

And my mom told him they couldn't ask for the dessert cause she needed to go to the hospital

And October 14th, 1995 early morning I was born

The funny thing is that my mom was born on october 14th too and and if we remember my dad was born on october 13th we can say that I was...

Their birthday gift

I've always been told that when I learn how to crawl I used to use both my hands and one leg but I didn't use the other one

and that they used to dress me with my sisters pj's so I wouldn't hurt my knee

When I was a kid I was a smart, affectionate and extroverted child

I had lots of friends and I used to spend all summer at my grandparent's playing all day

But when I was around 8 years old I started to become shy and reserved

Also in that moment I started dance classes, I love those I regret I stopped them

When I was 10 I was gifted a cat for my birthday

And we decided to choose it's name by voting

And the name that won was "Twenty two"

I got mad and I decided to choose the name myself and I called him "Rosset"

When I started 6th grade I made a nice group of friends and I started to get good grades

but then problems started...

My mum was diagnosed with cancer

My grandma, who had been sick for some years, passed away

And due to doctors, hospitals and my dad going with my mom

my sister and I had to adapt to the situation

She went to live with her father and I went to my grandparents house

Where there was nothing to do so I just studied

And the November of that year, my mum passed away

After that everything became a bit chaotic

My sister went to live with her father permanently

And my father and I moved to a small town close to Tarragona

And I asked my sister to keep the cat so...

It was just my father and I

I started " la ESO" (7th grade) in a new city, a new school with new people

And even tho I made some friends

I still prefered to be at home during my free time

That time I decided to go to art classes for the first time

I also kept hanging out with the friends I had when I was a kid

We used to spend afternoons and nights together and we went to concerts of our favourite bands

My father also found his first girlfriend and they fell in love again and got in a relationship

They are still together and she is really important for me

When I finished "la ESO" (4 years long, 12-16) I started "ell Bachillerato arístico" (2 years long, 16-18yo)

I made a new group of friends but it broke appart when people started to drop out

Until we were just 3: Julia, Ana and I

But then Julia left too

So it was just Ana and I

Who I still consider almost a sister

We started "2º de bachillerato" together and we made a new group of friends

But this one fell appart too

And on the other hand I started to feel really awkward and uncomfortable around my childhood friends

That and all the pressure of the studies made me get really anxious and I ended up isolated

But I made it and I gratuated

And I went to art school to study illustration

But I didn't make it so I chose a painting grade instead

And that year was awful, I hated all about that grade and I just wished it'd finish fast

And finally, when I finished I asked to be in illustration again and this time I made it

In illustration is where I met Laura, who is one of my best friends now

And she introduced me to Jess

And now we all three have a chat group where we talk 24/7

And sometimes we decide to hang out and we stay together for 4 days long

Also, one day, my sister called me and she surprised me telling me she was pregnant

And some months ago the baby was born so now I am an aunt!

I don't know what to expect from the future but I hope it's all good things

And this is my "Draw my life"

I just took a shower that´s why my hair is a little bit wet

I feel like in this light I look very heavenly

For breakfast I´m having this huge smoothie

I have some broccoli here that I´ll be munching on while I clean this

I´m just gonna cut this part off, I have some tomatoes

this is clean so it´s ok

And I think I have some spinach in the fridge

So I´m just gonna sauté this veggies

And eat them with rice and beans

Since I love onion I´m gonna add more onion here...

And I think I´m gonna go and buy some more veggies later

I added like 3 tomatoes and this smells so good

I´m gonna add some spinach

And I need to buy more ingredients cause I have nothing left

But you can always improvise

A little bit of salt and pepper

Done... I´m gonna add some beans

I´ll serve some rice here

I know it´s not the best but I´m gonna heat this up in the microwave

And I´m gonna serve this here

I´m gonna put some avocado over the rice cause who doesn´t love avo and rice together?

It´s one of my favorite combos

This wasn´t like the cutest avo but it was good

And just after eating I always like to eat something sweet

And today is a very hot day here in Mexico City

And this is one of those days when I just want to have smoothies

And I was craving something with chocolate and yummy

So I had this little monster

That has bananas, strawberries

Cacao powder and amaranth

And it was so delicious

So good. I thought this was gonna be computer day but no, I´ve been out doing stuff

But right now I need to do some computer work so I´ll see you later

I was gonna eat dinner without showing you guys

So this is dinner

This is just one apple chopped with some cinnamon and peanuts

I wanted to eat something light

I´m finishing with some computer stuff

But now I´m gonna eat this

And we´re on our evening thoughts time

And today I wanted to talk about this topic

At the end of last year, around November

An independent filmmaker sent me an email

His name is Eri Daniel Erlich, I hope I said it right

He´s 37 years old, was born in Ecuador but has lived most of his life in Israel

And he made this film called Life According to Ohad

It´s the story about a vegan activist from Israel

And his conflict with his family

Of not knowing how to express to his family all this things he´s seen in the slaughter houses

So Eri contacted me because maybe I´d be interested in watching his movie

At first I honestly didn´t want to watch it because I thought this was gonna be Earthlings all over again

Or like some other movie that show the reality of slaughter houses in a very raw way

And this movie was more than just that

This was more about Ohad´s personal conflict

Of not knowing how to get to his family and showing them all this things he knew

So they could make that connection with the animals

And I thought this was a very interesting way to show

How Ohad decides not to give up on his family

Ohad´s been away from his family for a couple of years now

They always tried to maintain a dialogue but just didn´t know exactly how

And then frustration comes up between both Ohad and his family

And at the beginning I was like: I don´t like this!

But in the end I got very surprised in a good way

I think that the ending was very encouraging

The way both parts ended up reacting to the situation

And as Eri was saying he decided to make this movie because

He´s also vegan, he´s been vegan for 22 years now

He went vegan after he watched The Animals Film

I´m gonna link it below

And he was saying that he wanted to open a dialogue

Of what would be the best way to expose this situation to our family and friends

Because this is such a sensitive topic and very controversial

And sometimes we just want to take it easy

And touching these topics, showing the evidence

To our family and friends

So they can understand the horrible things the industry is doing

And not showing us the truth

Can be very hard

The things that happen in the food industry worldwide

And see how we can maybe make this world a better place at least in a very small way

And he also wants to open dialogue with the people that don´t know how to approach the subject

With their non vegan family and friends

That don´t understand us but at the same time we don´t understand them

And then everything´s just a battle of dialogue, perspectives and points of view

In the end Ohad finally gets to connect with his family

And to me this represents hope

For this sad situation of everything we´re doing to our planet, to the animals and to ourselves

Through unseen activities that the industry keeps secret and locked away

I thought this was a very honest approach

And I also understand what it´s like to be an independent filmmaker

Even more talking about these topics

So for me I got to understand Eri in another level as well

So I also wanted to support another fellow artist so to speak

Some of you may not know but I´m an actress, I went to Theatre and Film School

So I can totally understand how hard it is to finish and to distribute an independent film

And even harder talking about these controversial topics that people don´t want to hear about

So I would invite you to see his film if you want to

I think this is a very honest movie with the intention of creating a dialogue

Without imposing anything

There are lots of times when we want to say things that we´re afraid to say

The deal of being ourselves

I still stand on that deal

And this is more than just being ourselves in this Channel but being ourselves all the time

And expressing ourselves as long as we´re not harming anyone else

And let´s just say whatever we need to say and let our imagination fly

And just expressing ourselves without thinking of what people may think

Sounds so easy and old but quite complicated sometimes

It´s simple just not so easy to do

And I just wanna be in this mode of Eri and Ohad

Seeing things as the are and keeping our positions strong

And if you want to say someone how much you miss him or her just go and say it

And if you need to quit your job and do something else then do it

Life is too short indeed to be too worried about what people think

We really need to remember more often how wonderful life is

And it´s too short and in the end nothing else will happen if you make a mistake

If you make a mistake you´ll still learn so either way you´ll win

So this was our evening thoughts time

I THINK HOPE HICKS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST INFLUENCES ON

DONALD TRUMP IN THIS ADMINISTRATION.

LEARNED ABDIN WAS

SENTENCED TO 5 YEARS IN JUVENILE

DETENTION ON A WEAPONS

CHARGE... BUT WAS RELEASED EARLY

ON PAROLE.

Tom Kanka - Hall of Fame - Duration: 3:01.

Playing at Hillsdale was probably the best four years of my life.

It was team, family.

The atmosphere was just family.

Coach Dick Lowry came in, and that was his first year.

That was his first recruiting class.

We won the GLIAC Championship in 1980, my freshman year.

It got Hillsdale back on the map for football.

Coach preached family, and discipline, and character.

The friends I have are like brothers.

The most impactful person besides my father and my mom but from the college was Coach

McAvoy who was like a second father.

Two weeks into my freshman year, I came in.

I was out of shape.

I wanted to go home.

Coach Mac saw me walking back to Simpson Dorm and said, "What are you doing?"

I said, "I'm going home.

I, I'm embarrassed.

I can't get my equipment."

I'll never forget it.

He said, "Just remember that the decision you make today will impact you and your family

for the rest of your life."

He said, "You know, the coaches brought you here because they had a belief in you.

You've got to find that inside yourself.

Believe that you can do it, and, and prove them, prove them right."

One conversation from Coach Mac changed my life.

Started three years, was elected to captain.

Being elected captain by your teammates was a very humbling moment.

Made All-Conference, All-District, All-American.

To sign an NFL contract was a dream.

I wasn't fortunate enough to make the final roster for Detroit or Pittsburgh, but I had

two years in camps and preseason.

I can always look back and say, "I tried and I gave it all I had."

To me, that was good enough.

The other person that made a difference in my life was Keith Otterbein, our current head

football coach.

Otter reached out to me and asked me what my plans were.

I didn't really have any plans.

I was reeling from the loss of my brother, Bob, and coached reached out to me and gave

me an opportunity to come up to Ferris and become a coach.

I coached for four years as defensive line coach.

I was a strength coordinator.

Otter reached out to me at the lowest times of my life and saved me.

The thing I miss most about coaching is how you can influence somebody's life.

I had an opportunity to coach at the youth level, high school, college.

Probably the greatest thing I still get is when I run into former players and I hear,

"Coach."

I love it.

Being elected into the Hillsdale College Athletic Hall of Fame is unfathomable.

When I made All-American, I thought that was it.

It doesn't get much better than that.

I've been out of school since 1984.

You see the people up ... I've been back to a couple Hall of Fame inductions.

To be considered the best of the best that have ever played at Hillsdale, it's an honor.

It's hard to put into words.
