Bluetooth designers took this symbol from Norse mythology.

It is a combined rune, and it made up of two separate runes.

Former interim leader of Democratic Party announces presidential bid - Duration: 2:16.

Campaigning for Korea's May 9th presidential election will officially get underway in about

a fortnight.

All the major parties have chosen their candidates, and now a former leader of the Democratic

Party has declared his own bid as an independent.

Our Oh Jung-hee tells us what we can expect over the next few weeks.

Kim Chong-in, the former interim leader of the Democratic Party of Korea announced a

bid for the Korean presidency... as an independent candidate.

At a press conference on Wednesday, he said, though he doesn't have the backing of any

political party, he hopes to win the support of the people.

He pledged to work as a mediator to embrace various people of various factions and to

stabilize the nation.

And he added... that what Korea needs now is an 'integrated government' that brings

together the capabilities of all political parties... to overcome the national crisis

and reinvigorate the country.

A presidential bid by Kim has been widely expected... since he left the Democratic Party

in early March.

Contenders in the May 9th election now number at least eight,... including the candidates

from Korea's five major parties plus two other independents.

The People's Party is going with its former leader Ahn Cheol-soo and the Democratic Party

of Korea with its former leader Moon Jae-in.

The Liberty Korea Party, which was in power under former President Park Geun-hye, has

chosen Gyeongsangnam-do Province Governor Hong Joon-pyo to lead its ticket,... while

the splinter Bareun Party nominated lawmaker Yoo Seong-min.

The minor left-wing Justice Party chose its leader Shim Sang-jung back in February.

The polls show Moon with a comfortable lead over his rivals -- he's in the 30-percent

range, while Ahn, his closest rival, hasn't broken through 20 percent.

In the last presidential election in 2012, Moon and Ahn merged their campaigns... but

the chances of that happening this time are slim... with Ahn vowing to fight to the end

and opposing any sort of alignment based on political calculations.

For right-leaning voters,... both Hong and Yoo are claiming the mantle of "true conservative."

There's a better chance of those two seeking a coalition,... but they haven't been able

to agree on one yet.

U.S. blames Syrian gov't for suspected gas attack in Idlib - Duration: 2:11.

The United States has blamed the Assad regime for an apparent chemical attack that killed

at least 58 people in north-west Syria.

A host of other countries have joined Washington in condemning the attack and the UN Security

Council is set to hold an emergency meeting in the coming hours.

Ro Aram has more.

The attack occurred in the early hours of Tuesday in the town of Khan Sheikhoun, just

south of the rebel-held city of Idlib.

British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights put the death toll at 58, but a coalition

of international aid agencies said more than 100 people were killed.

Witnesses said they spotted strikes by Syrian or Russian jets unleashing what was thought

to be nerve gas.

Images showed haunting scenes of lifeless children laying on the ground and people choking

and foaming at the mouth.

They also showed medics hosing down victims' bodies to wash away the chemicals.

Another wave of air strikes are said to have targeted medical facilities where victims

were being treated.

The U.S. says it's confident the Assad regime was to blame.

President Donald Trump denounced the assault as a heinous act that cannot be ignored by

the civilized world.

The U.K., France, Turkey and the UN joined Washington in condemning the attack.

However, Damascus denied responsibility, saying it does not possess chemical weapons, has

not used them in the past and will not use them in the future.

Russia, which is backing Assad in the fight against IS in Syria, also denied involvement.

If confirmed, it would be the deadliest chemical assault in the country since 2013 when hundreds

were killed after the use of the banned toxin sarin.

At the time, Assad promised to destroy his country's chemical arsenal, but the Organization

for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has documented dozens of chlorine gas attacks

since then, a gas not covered in the 2013 attack.

Damascus blames rebel fighters for the latest attack, saying they are trying to frame the

government.

The UN Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday morning, local time,

to discuss the incident.

Fleece Puff Cat Toy Wand - Duration: 4:04.

Hi.

Today we're going to make a really cute little cat toy.

So, I'm going to get started and take my Bowdabra Bow Wire,

fold it in half and lay that downinto my Bowdabra.

Then I'm going to take pre-cut strips that I have, of fleece, and I'm just going to lay

them down into the middle.

And I've got them laid out here so that they're all different widths,

which I think is kind of more fun.

So, we've got a colorful little toy for your cat to play with.

And I'm just sort of moving these in the Bowdabra as I see, to kind of make them even.

And then just sort of lay this in, lay the blue, a little of that, put this thicker white,

put a little of this lighter blue, find the right piece.

And I'm just going to start over here, just throw this in, and actually, I'm going to

grab my blue and white.

Really, how you do this is just kind of laying them all in so you have all different shapes

and colors mixed into the toy.

Another one here, and my last piece of white.

Take my wand and I'm just going to scrunch everything down into my Bowdabra.

Bring this back up here.

Pull my two ends through my loop.

Pull it really, really, really tight, separate the ends.

And again, I'm even tying it tighter here, bringing it around to the back and make sure

that back piece doesn't get tied in.

Then what I'm going to do is tie a knot, and absolutely make sure that I tie a double knot,

because your little, furry baby's going to be playing with it.

But this time, I'm just going to clip one end, because we're going to use the other

end to tie it onto my dowel.

So, this is really cute, because your cat will be playing with it.

The way that I tied these two, so I just sort of want to measure this third one so it's

kind of in between the two.

So, I'll just fold my wire over here because now I know my measurement.

And the next thing that I'm going to do is take my glue gun and pretty evenly spaced.

I'm just going to do a little strip there.

And I'm going to take where my fold was and I'm going to just wrap the wire around the

glue.

And then just for extra security, I'm going to just add another layer of glue over.

And then you have this really cute little toy for your cat to play with, or you to play

with your cat actually.
