Una sorpresa dalla radio [aggiornamento canale] (w/ subtitles) - Duration: 7:46.

So we passed unharmed through the channel festivities as well...

As always: I wanted to do a few more things

but the time is always the same, so

we should feel satisfied about a single upload

I had in mind a lot of additional things, however, we could recuperate in the future.

In specific I would like to upload a translation of a song

But, I went to the SIAE, that is the authority in Italy which deals with copyright

they told me that it is a really complex thing

so I had to give up on that and postpone it until a later date.

However, in this case too, have come some new ideas to mind,

but this time I will not anticipate anything because

as we say: "sailor's pledges"

or "pre-election promises"

that is, it seems to me to do always promises that I do not keep

or otherwise, to the next channel update, they are not yet effective

but a coincidence that I had not expected helps us:

In fact, next week falls the thirtieth anniversary of Primo Levi's death

and probably to coincide with this date, the RAI Radiotelevisione italiana

has decided to broadcast on Radio3 readings, precisely of "The Periodic Table" of Primo Levi

about which I have spoken quite a lot in a previous video

This broadcasting is called "aloud" and is a program that I always suggest to everyone.

Essentially they read, aloud indeed, some novels;

for instance, a novel which I later found out like it very much, that is, "The Paul Street Boys"

I've discovered it exactly through that broadcast and the great thing is that there is also a podcast

so, you can download from the website

(I link you to the site in the video description)

from which you can download all the readings of the past novels

in fact, I am a bit sorry because I wanted to tell you this thing in advance

in fact, the reading started already yesterday with the first chapter: today is Tuesday...

But that is not such an insurmountable problem because, as I just said,

you can listen to the previous episodes in podcast

so, if you want, you can easily follow the whole book

I have noticed that often on youtube

people try to share their methods for learning languages

so I will do the same, even though, everyone finds their own way and it is difficult that...

So I would like to share with you what one of my methods is:

when I find a language that I like:

I like its sound, like its alphabet or something else in that language,

one of the first things I do, is to download the app of the national radio

or at least I look for a radio in which they talk a lot.

In the Italian national radio usually they talk quite a lot

I know Radio2 and Radio3

at home we always listened to radio3 because in our family we loved classical music

and when I was a child there was a lot of classical music on Radio3;

now, are broadcasted instead some talks too...

Radio2, is rather a news radio instead:

there is the newscast to timetabled hours, and they follow the financial markets too...

it is rather an informational radio, you know, Radio3, let's say that is a cultural radio.

The negative side of the Italian radio is that it advertise

but I think that is not a totally negative side, because

I know an idiomatic in German which says, "to understand just and only -station-"

I think it refers to the fact that, maybe a person is on the train, he pass through different stations

and each station is announced the name of the city through the speakers

but this person does not understand what the voice say

he just understand "station" because that is the only word that is the same every time.

So also in the case of radio with advertisement,

maybe it would be, don't say a kind of Rosetta Stone,

but a way to begin to learn some words

since advertising is repeated identical over and over

so, bit by bit, you learn the first words.

Personally I never used the Radio3 App

so I cannot tell you whether it is a good app,

I mean: if it has enough buffer, or if it not get stuck too often

but I ask you to try it.

Because generally, about my experience with radios

you know, some app are better, some others worse

but it depends on the moment too: maybe there's an app that

one day works well, another day does not work so good

so I use two or three radios, I switch from one radio to another, looking for the one that currently works better.

You see me before this background...

I do not know if you see... if you can recognize well which colour it is,

however it is a blue and yellow: blue and yellow are the colours of Turin,

if you want to know the truth: I prepared this set design for another video which has nothing to do with Torino

but I wanted to add some yellow because

(Hopefully in next week)

it is a quite complicated video

however, I am preparing a video about Torino

it should be a kind of video response

about some though I read in Internet, about people of Turin

funny though, of course: not insinuations or blameworthy speeches.

This one would be a channel update video,

but, in reality, I feel like I did not tell you something special

maybe the only thing is that, for those who are interested,

I will open next week in the channel in German

however, it will be a secondary channel, on which I will upload a video just some time to time, because

naturally the channel to which I will dedicate more time will be this one about the Italian

which already takes me a lot of time

that's not a problem for me, but I wish I could do more things

Instead I see that you need to...

For instance, the video I uploaded last week

It comes from the fact that I started to learn again music

just because I would like to accompany some video with some special music

and maybe, why not? I could upload some songs

or...

Melodic Comping - Stronger than voice leading! - Jazz Guitar Lesson - Duration: 10:49.

(gentle guitar music)

- Voice leading is a great tool,

but the strongest musical principle is probably melody.

And that's also true when you're comping.

Melody will tie things together and overrule voice leading

just as it does

when you're making a chord melody arrangement.

I get asked a lot about how I think about

the different extensions and alterations

that are used when I'm comping.

In this video I'll show you some examples of how I comp,

thinking of the melody and harmonizing at the same time.

I think this approach is really similar to

how you also play chord solos,

but it's a very a nice way to sort of

tie everything together

and make your comping a complete musical statement

rather than just a bunch of chords next to each other.

In this video I'm gonna take a turn around

in the key of G Major, so A minor 7,

D7, G Major, E7.

And then I'm gonna get you some exercises so that you can

play melodies with all those chords.

And I'm gonna give you some examples of some simple melodies

that I wrote on that progression.

So the first thing we need to do

is just to have some exercises

to be able to play melodies with these chords.

And the first chord is A minor.

In this exercise, I'm actually just playing

the G Major scale on the high E string.

So.

And then harmonizing that with A minor chords.

And I'm only using the drop2 chords in this lesson.

And that's because if you know where you drop2 inversions

then you already have most of the notes covered.

And if you wanna change a melody note on a drop two voicing,

then they are quite flexible for that.

So they are easy to use for this.

The only chord voicing that really needs explanation

in the A minor set is probably this one,

which is an A minor 13th.

The F sharp is a melody note

that you probably won't be using that much

when you're trying to comp a II Valt I in the key of G,

because the whole point of the A minor

is actually to delay the F# for the D7.

But just to have it in there,

I just put it in like this,

which is an okay voicing to use.

But chances are you won't be using it that much.

Let's go to the D7 voicings.

The D7 voicings don't really ask for much of an explanation.

What I'm using for the D7

is these F sharp half diminished voicings.

Because that gives us a D7 with a 9.

If you wanna check more out

on how to add extensions in drop2 voicings

and how that works, then you can check out

some of my drop2 lessons.

I have three of them and they cover this quite thoroughly.

So the only thing

that probably needs a little bit of explanation

is that I have the 2nd chord is this,

which is actually an A minor chord.

The reason why I'm using this

is because when we have the G in the melody,

then it's better to change the chord to a sus chord.

So essentially this is just a D7 sus with a 9.

And that's a better option than having this interval

in your chord.

The G Major 7 voicings sound like this.

So there are two places

that I need to explain a little bit here.

And the first one is when we have the root in the melody.

When you have the root in the melody,

you don't necessarily wanna have the Major 7 under it,

because then again you get this sound.

And since we're probably gonna be playing

sort of really slow melodies with sustained chords,

then it's probably better to do something about that.

And what I did was I changed the 7th here into a 6.

So this is actually a G6 voicing.

That's a very common thing to do

when you come across a Major 7 chord

with the root in the melody, that you change the

Major 7 into a 6.

And then for the rest, when we come up to the melody note C,

this is a similar thing because the C melody note

doesn't actually sound nice on a G Major 7.

If I play it, a G Major 7 with a C in the melody,

it sounds like this.

So it's better to just change the chord again,

like the D7.

And what I changed to here is actually an A minor 7,

because that's just sort of a diatonic passing chord

that we can put in there.

You will probably not have to sort of comp

a G Major 7 with a C in the melody

for any sort of longer period of time.

So it's always gonna be a passing chord, a passing note.

And therefore you can always just use a passing chord,

which is here why I'm using the A minor 7.

The last chord is an E7.

And of course there is no real E7 in G Major.

But the point of the E7 is to take us back to A minor

so the scale we would use on it

is an A harmonic minor scale.

And that will be this.

So all the G7 voicings are sort of based on this

diminished type voicing, which gives us an E7

with a flat 9.

And I think the only one that really needs any mention

is when we have A in the melody.

So again, when we have A in the melody,

it's gonna clash with the 3rd, so I change the chording

to a sus chord.

And in this case that actually turns into an E7 sus4 flat 9,

which you can also think of as being B half diminished

with an E in the bass.

So now we have the chord voicings

so that we can play some melodies through the duration.

The first example of that, it sounds like this.

The kind of melody you wanna use for something like this

is probably gonna be mostly step wise

or maybe using the occasional 3rd.

And there's not gonna be a lot of movement

because the point of this

is that it has to sit behind somebody playing a solo

or somebody playing the theme.

And it shouldn't take all the attention.

So when you practice this, you wanna make it

make some small melodies that have one or two notes per bar

or one note per chord.

And we're gonna let that, that's gonna make the most sense.

And that's also gonna help you develop something

that you can actually use when you're comping.

And that's what I'm doing here.

So I'm using two notes per chord.

The first one is just using this melody, so.

And that's then harmonized with A minor,

F sharp half diminished, which is D7.

And then G Major.

And then the E7, which is just two voicings.

The next example sounds like this.

So here's a good example of how you can use a motif

when you're doing this.

So the motif is essentially just moving stepwise

up the scale, so.

And the same thing up here.

And then a variation where we're moving down.

And on the A minor 7, that's fairly obvious

that it's just.

And the D7's otherwise simple.

Here you can also tell that I can easily,

because I'm using this sort of melodic idea,

I can easily skip up to the G Major 7 up here

without having to worry about the voice leading.

And then this variation with the E7

kind of fits with the voicing as well

so that doesn't really matter.

And then of course also this A minor 7 with a 9.

But of course you can also use great passing notes

in your melodies.

And most of the time they're gonna end up as passing chords

or as alterations.

And that's what's happening in the last example.

So in this example, the melody that I'm playing

is this, so.

And that's then harmonized with A minor voicings,

fairly straight forward.

D7 voicing and then we get the passing note,

which is this E flat.

And this is harmonized with a D7 altered voicing.

Then up to G6.

And then we get this E7 altered,

that's then resolved to this A minor with a 9.

That was three examples of how I might apply this

to a turnaround in the key of G.

I think that if you wanna work on this,

then you probably want to try it

just on the turnaround first,

and then quickly move it to an entire standard

and maybe do it so that it play first

one note per chord.

So whole notes first and then move it to half notes.

And once you've done that a few times,

then find apply it to a real playing situation

where you can change the rhythm as well.

I think that's gonna help get that kinda thinking

into your playing.

Trump Defends Scumbag Bill O'Reilly: He Didn't Do Anything Wrong! - Duration: 4:25.

While most people in the United States have begun to realize that Bill O'Reilly is quite

the scumbag, he at least has one person willing to come to his defense, and that person, not

ironically, is President Donald Trump.

According to an interview that Donald Trump did, he said that, "Look, I know Bill.

I know Bill O'Reilly.

He is a good guy.

I do not believe that he did anything wrong.

He probably didn't do anything wrong."

This is obviously in response to the numerous sexual harassment accusations against Bill

O'Reilly that had been filed by several different women.

So far, the network has, I believe, settled a couple of different cases, about three of

them, for about $5 million.

They're paying millions of dollars to women who've been sexually harassed by Bill O'Reilly,

and that's just in recent years.

The network is also facing sexual harassment allegations against other people at the network.

They're now facing racial discrimination accusations from people, facing lawsuits for that.

Let's not forget the big one here.

We have been talking about Bill O'Reilly and his sexual harassment, I guess tendencies

would be the word, since at least the year 2005.

For 12 years now, we have known that Bill O'Reilly cannot control himself around women.

We have known that Bill O'Reilly puts women into a hostile environment where it is unsafe

for them.

Furthermore, we have learned that Fox News knows about this, and still does nothing to

protect these women.

Yeah, it makes perfect sense for a guy like Donald Trump, who is literally the same kind

of person as Bill O'Reilly, to come out there to his defense.

I mean we all heard the audio of Donald Trump from the campaign talking about what he likes

to do to women.

Yeah, of course he's going to defend Bill O'Reilly.

No, in Trump's mind, he didn't do anything wrong because, to Donald Trump, sexual harassment,

sexual assault is perfectly fine.

There's nothing wrong with that.

Fox News needs to understand that right now they have lost several dozen advertisers from

the Bill O'Reilly program.

The advertisers are the clients.

Not the people, the clients.

Not the viewers, the clients.

What Fox has to understand now is that they can continue to run this jackass on television

with no advertisers, losing money on his multimillion-dollar a year contract, and face the possibility

of women coming forward and actually suing the network for putting them into this hostile

environment, knowing about Bill O'Reilly's sexual harassment history, and still putting

women in that kind of position, or they can finally pull the trigger and get rid of Bill

O'Reilly from that network for good.

It's time for him to retire.

It's time for him to go away.

The only people that currently have that power are the executives at Fox News.

They could end this today, if they chose to, but just like it happened in 2005, they assumed

that the public's going to forget, that the story's eventually going to go blow over,

advertisers are going to come back, Bill O'Reilly is going to be back on top.

Unfortunately, they're probably right in this instance because, again, we've been talking

about these allegations, these cases against Bill for 12 years, and, so far, Fox has failed

to protect the women working at their network from this sexual predator.

There's no reason to believe that anything has changed at that network, and that they're

willing to get rid of Bill O'Reilly in order to protect these women.

It kind of reminds me of the oval brushes. You know how they're really dense? This is quite similar to that

but obviously much bigger

On the website you can purchase this for $15USD

which I think is pretty affordable if this works

I feel like it would blend the foundation out really well

I'm not sure about powder though. I guess powder you can just press it on to your skin

So that's one of the brushes I'll be trying out today.

The other brush is the "Angled Painter Brush"

This one is definitely in a very odd shape

Again, there is lots of bristles on this and it's quite dense but not as dense as the hanging brush.

This brush can used for foundation, contour, blush and highlighting

so it's got more uses than the other brush

It's also cheaper. You can purchase it for about $13USD

and it comes with a sanitary cap which you can pop on when you're not using the brush.

What's really interesting about this brush is if you look at it from the top

it's cut out in these wave formations

I'm not too sure how that's going to help with applying the makeup

but I'm interested to see if it does make a difference or not

Apparently the ultra fine tip helps enhance the blending

giving you a streak free finish

so I'm interested to see how this performs

I'll be testing out these brushes with this foundation

The L'Oreal Infallible in "radiant beige"

Now the instructions don't really specify whether or not I should pump the foundation

directly onto the brush or on my skin first

but I feel like it's quite dense so maybe it won't absorb a lot of the foundation

So I'm just going to pump it onto my brush

I'm going to do half my face using this brush and the other side using the wavy brush

I'm just going to apply it on.

Oh my god, this covers my whole face already

Wow....

I feel like I applied way too much

I'm just going to wipe some off because that is way too much product

At least I could finish my makeup in no time

cause this brush is huge

It's so big!

Oh no, I ruined my lip....

No.....

Okay, I'll fix my lip up later

but lets just go in

It actually feels really nice on my skin

with the smaller areas like around my nose and under my eye

I think I need to tilt the brush

to use the edge of it on the smaller areas

and then I have to be really careful around my eyebrows

because I already filled them in

this totally works

Okay, so that's half my face done

It literally took no time at all because of how big this brush is

I actually like it.I feel like I could definitely do my whole face in 20 seconds

and it gives me a really nice finish

can you see the difference?

The side that I have foundation on

and the side that I don't

This side obviously looks more flawless

it looks airbrushes and there's definitely no streaks

The only thing is that this might be a little bit too big

I just feel like I'm used to using something a little bit smaller

especially around me eyes

but if you just angle the brush if does get into those areas

and you can definitely work it in to the smaller areas

You just need to be careful around your eyebrows

If you like to fill them in before foundation

So yeah... I quite like this one

Let's try the next one

What to Wear on a Royal Caribbean Cruise - Duration: 12:07.

Hey Cruisers, today we're going to answer a very popular question.

Yes, you know what it is because you saw the video's title, but first we have something

even more important to share.

We want to tell you where you can find you can find reviews, photos, and tips from real,

VERIFIED, everyday cruisers.

It's our sponsor, cruiseline.com.

It's a very cool site, and if you love cruising you'll want to get familiar with it as a

pre AND post cruise resource.

Check them out directly by clicking the link the notes below.

Alrighty, "what should I wear on my Royal Caribbean cruise" is a question we get quite

often, and while we've briefly addressed the question in the past, we realized it is

still source of concern and even controversy, particularly when it comes to formal night.

Maybe you don't like to dress up, and wonder what is acceptable for admittance to the dining

room.

Or, perhaps you love to dress up, but don't want to be the only one in an evening gown

or tuxedo on formal night.

Well, we are going to try and clear that all up for you, AND we have pictures!

Royal Caribbean lists it's suggested dinner attire on it's website, but come on, that's

just boring, and maybe even a little confusing.

Still, if you'd rather head over to their site you can find a lot of this information

there… but you won't see our photos.

So let's get a couple of standard questions out of the way for those of you that just

want me to cut to the chase.

Do I have to wear an evening gown, or tuxedo on formal night – No.

Can I wear an evening gown or tuxedo on formal night – Yes.

Okay, now let's get into some of the finer details of dress code.

First off, Royal Caribbean doesn't go into a lot of detail when it comes to their dress

code.

They simply say "When you're onboard, the right look will vary by venue", And they

go on to offer a few types of suggested attire, which we'll cover shortly.

Since they don't specify what items are not permissible, the guidelines they do provide

are subject to interpretation.

The dress code for the main dining room has been trending toward a more relaxed style

lately, but Royal Caribbean does maintain a tiny bit of traditional cruise formality

and breaks the suggested attire into three separate categories.

Casual, Smart Casual, And Formal.

Let's take a look at these categories starting with "casual".

Casual clothes are what you'll wear around the ship in public areas during the day and

evening for anything from meals in the dining rooms, to activities.

For casual attire, Royal Caribbean says, and this is a quote from the website, "You're

on vacation – relax!

Jeans, shorts, tees, tank tops, polos, sundresses and blouses are all the right amount of laid

back.

Please keep swimwear to the Pool Deck."

During the day on most warm weather cruises, casual clothes, swimsuits, swimsuit cover

ups and even active wear can be seen all over the ship.

Now, Royal Caribbean doesn't want you to try to show up for lunch in the buffet or

main dining room in a dripping wet swimsuit, but the vibe is really casual, so pack those

flip flops, hats, and your favorite casual wear, and focus on comfort.

If you're cruising with kids, don't forget to pack sun protective clothing if you can-

rash guards and cool hats are everywhere these days, and you'll be less concerned with

re-applying SPF if your kids are more covered up.

Here's a look at a couple of outfits we would typically pack for casual dinners and

even for sea days around the ship.

Think of something you'd wear to an every-day restaurant back home.

For men, casual pants, even jeans, and more casual collared shirts are great.

For women, it's the same idea.

I like to think of my dinner outfits as "Resort wear" type outfits, including casual dresses,

or maybe even nicer jeans, especially on the first night of the cruise, when everyone tends

to be more casual after a long day of travel.

For kids, there's tons of options and flexibility.

We just keep our little guy in clean clothes that aren't considered swimwear, and we're

good to go.

Here are a few photos we snapped at the mall of common casual wear.

Let's move on to the smart casual category.

What the heck is "smart casual" and when would you dress that way.

We hear this one a lot on cruises, so let's see how RCL defines it.

Royal Caribbean says "Think of this as a step up from your typical dinner wear.

Dress to impress with jackets, sports coats, blazers, collared shirts, dresses, skirts

and blouses, or pantsuits."

This is probably the category you'll see the widest range of interpretation and the

most confusing to people.

We kind of think of this as being similar what you might wear in a more formal office

environment or perhaps as wedding guest.

Think back to the last wedding you attended.

The majority of men were likely in slacks, a collared shirt with tie and perhaps a suit

coat, but there were probably a handful in polos or Hawaiian shirts as well.

Women were in a variety of outfits from full-fledged cocktail dresses, to sundresses and pantsuits.

You'll probably see same when it comes to the Smart casual category on a cruise.

"smart casual" usually applies when you go to one of the upscale specialty restaurants

onboard, if that helps.

Here are some examples for what could pass as smart casual onboard.

For the formal category, we'll quote Royal Caribbean's website again- it says' "Make

it a night out in your best black-tie look – suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses

or evening gowns."

Formal night is usually the biggest area of concern for most new cruisers.

We think the idea with formal night is pretty obvious.

It's a chance breakout your finest clothes and experience the traditional grandeur and

elegance of a traditional cruise dinner, whatever that means to YOU.

Personally we love this tradition.

I used to shop months in advance for the perfect formal night dresses, and my husband would

pack or rent a tuxedo onboard.

There are a lot less tuxedos on formal nights these days, and my husband was getting tired

of people asking him where the bathroom was (ya know, cus he looked like a crew member),

so now we are a bit less formal.

I usually wear cocktail dresses, or a longer evening gown type s style.

Here's a look at a couple of examples.

When it comes to formal nights, we say common sense should be your guide.

If you want to go all out and dress up, by all means, please do so.

That's the whole idea.

On the other hand, if you just don't like dressing up, there are options for you too

on formal night.

You could skip the main dining room and head to the buffet, order room service, or you

can dress the way you want and take your chances in the main dining room.

Royal Caribbean says they will enforce the dress code, but the reality is it's tough

for the staff to manage.

Of course there is another option, and that is the specialty restaurants, but those have

their own dress code, (not to mention additional fees).

Royal Caribbean recommends Smart Casual for Specialty Restaurants & Mystery Dinner Theater.

So, yeah, expect to dress up a little if you explore those options.

Formal wear onboard might look something like this...

And speaking of dressing up a little, what about the kidlets?

Well, the same rules apply to the little ones as well.

But, if you have kids you probably already know how to handle this one, and how there

might be just a little bit more flexibility when it comes to children.

On formal nights we typically deck our little man out with a nice slacks, shirt, tie, vest

ensemble, and he looks sharps … for about ten minutes.

Oh here's a secret, instead of trying to force him into painful dress shoes we usually

put him in some nice clean all black sneakers, and works pretty well for us.

Nobody's ever kicked us out of the dining room because he wasn't wearing dress shoes.

Catch my drift?

To wrap this all up, you'll notice that Royal Caribbean calls this suggested attire,

and they don't list everything you can't wear.

So, of course we don't want you to feel like we are saying "you have to wear this

or you can't wear that".

We are only trying to provide a little guidance for people who are truly looking for help

with an often confusing topic.

That's it for this episode, thank you for watching.

Episode 8 - Prince & Vice Prime Minister - Duration: 5:01.

Hi!

And Welcome to Uniti Update Episode 8.

In the last few weeks we've had a lot of attention from all over the world.

People supporting us after they heard about the deal we had with Siemens.

And now we're growing as a company and there are people coming in every day to join us.

We're building this first prototype that's gonna be done this summer and we're also

planning out the production of the vehicle.

And this means that we are already growing out of this place.

And I know that it feel like we just moved in here and we think so to.

But we will need the place where we would put our production facility in the near future.

And we've been looking for places in Malmö and Landskrona and the key thing with this

new facility is that it needs to be a good logistics hub.

So you can acctually transport goods into the factory, you can produce it and then distribute

easily by seaways or by train.

And that's why we've been looking at Landskrona where there's a harbour and there's big

machinery and facilities where we could build a factory from the ground up.

Because Uniti isn't just a car of traditional production methods, it's a whole new way

of thinking of production and how to do it and how you can actually optimize the whole

process.

While we go around Skåne and Sweden to look at different places people are also coming

to our building.

We've had the honour to receive Isabella Lövin, the Vice Prime Minister of Sweden.

And she was here talking to us about the future of Sweden and the future of green energy and

we also discussed the possibility of using Lund as a testbed for autonomous vehicles.

And that's because we as a company can't just change the way the world works, thats

that's why they visit us.

So that we can get some support and help to change policy to make the future more sustainable

and the world we live in more green.

From a policy level, obviously autonomous driving is going to be interesting.

We can have them on the road within three years.

What do you say?

It sound fantastic!

At Sony you could use them resources to do something good in the world.

Basically the freakin' opportunity that you guys have laying at your feet right now.

I think it's a super exiting time on the planet right now.

I like the idea of, you know, seeing what's feasible and being bold and going for something

exciting!

I need to have such a complex company because I'm switching all the time between different

things and that's a state where I thrive.

I don't work very good if I just have one thing.

I think everyone should find what their strengths are and then accelerate those strengths.

And all these contacts haven't just come out of the blue.

It's our team that has built this.

Our team is the one most important thing in our company.

And team Uniti also need to grow.

By hiring more real, competent people, but we also see the need to grow our team externally

by creating more partnerships with different companies all around the world.

And we're not in it alone, we have these collaborations so that we can grow quicker

and faster and get this car on the road as soon as possible!

And in order to become pioneers we really need to stand on the shoulders of giants and

use all the different innovations that different people have come up with.

Combine all the existing technologies into the one perfect product that we strive for.

Because we can't just as a company work alone to bring a more sustainable world and

a more sustainable form of transportation to market.

And we haven't only been meeting companies and policy makers, we've also met the

Prince of Sweden, Prins Daniel.

So we were at his Entrepreneurship day and got to speak with members of the Royal Family

as well as high industry officials.

And this gives us great confindece because we get so much support from so many different

people and institutions that see us as a future in Swedish industry.

And this video goes out to all the supporters that we have globally, our own team members,

all our investors and all the people that have been believing in us since day one.

Together we can make this happen if continue with this great momentum that we've created.

And all we wanna say its: Thank you!

Thwarting the Twins Tips! Artifact Challenge Guide - Shadow Priest PoV - Duration: 5:28.

Hi!

I'm Hazel, and this is a look at the Thwarting the Twins Artifact challenge.

This one is for Shadow Priests, Affliction Locks, Marks Hunters, Balance Druids and Frost

Mages.

I'm showing it from a Shadow Priest Point of View but you might still pick up something

useful as another class.

First thing is to choose your legendaries.

If you have Prydaz, I'd wear it.

It's a get-out-0f-jail free card on a 30 second cooldown, and this fight is full of jail.

Next, Sephuz is absolutely godly for this.

This fight is a massive kite-fest and Sephuz trivializes a good portion of it.

How important having Sephuz is will vary between the classes.

For Shadow Priest, I have yet to see a single one under 920 item level beat this without

it.

For consumables, bring flasks, combat potions and I really liked the Bear Tartare food.

This will give you an almost constant sprint during the second and third phases, which

comes in super handy.

Last, bring a big stack of Drums of the Mountain so you can lust yourself.

Don't use them on your first few pulls while you're learning the fight, but once you're

feeling confident in the mechanics you want to pull out all the stops.

Finally, you just want a lot of gear.

If you're under 910 you may or may not be mathematically able to complete this, especially

if you don't have the right legendaries.

100 nethershards a try isn't much so definitely give it a go but don't feel bad if you can't

do it.

You can always get more gear, more legendaries and more weapon traits then come back later.

Your first attempt is free, and all future attempts are a flat fee of 100 Nethershards

each.

This will ABSOLUTELY take you mulitple tries.

It's only available to pull while the Mage Tower has been built on your region, and the

Mage tower will fall after roughly three days of uptime.

So enter the instance and walk in to start the RP.

You can pre-pot with a Prolonged Power right when Karam starts his 'I...obey' line.

The idea for this first phase is to not let him hit you, and DPS him down to 33%.

He walks slowly at first, then gains speed as time goes on.

Try to mostly kite him around the main platform- there's lots of room around the edges but

I found going really far out causes hands to spawn out there later, which is really

bad news.

As a shadow priest, spam Mind Flay whenever possible to try and proc Call of the Void

tentacles to slow him for 10 seconds.

Use Mind Bomb on cooldown to gain distance and get damage in, and to proc your sprint

if you have Sephuz.

If you have Prydaz, you can let him hit you to get knocked back for some extra distance

once or twice early in the fight.

If you're not wearing Prydaz, that hit might kill you so I wouldn't recommend it.

Once you get him down to 33%, his brother heals him, becomes attackable and phase 2

starts.

A bunch of little adds will spawn and start oozing your way.

They do massive damage if they get to you so you want to kite those too.

As a priest, I dot them all up then as they die they proc the Bear Tartare sprint.

After about 40 seconds, Raest will go immune, Karam will start chasing you again and you'll

need to kite him too.

During Phase 2 these big hands will spawn and start casting Grasp from Beyond.

That will nearly kill you if you have Prydaz or one-shot you without it.

You can silence the hand, stun them if you're not using it on Karam, or Dispersion to survive

a blast.

I recommend silencing the first hand, Dispersing the second one and silencing the third.

They'll start casting again after they get kicked so those are your top damage priority

when they're up.

You need to kill them before they get another cast off.

Don't forget that Karam is still chasing you.

I found using mouseover macros for my Silence and Mind Bomb made this phase of the fight

much easier- instead of scrambling to find the hand and switch targets, I just mouse

over the boss frame to silence or Mind Bomb it.

Mages, Hunters and Locks can set up those macros for their kicks by replacing Silence

with the name of the spell.

Damage Karam to 33% a second time, and the final phase will begin.

Phase 3- You're almost done but it's about to get a lot worse.

Not only does all of the above keep happening, now you get these purple runes on the ground.

If you stand in it, it'll shrink and disappear.

If you don't, it'll spawn another massive murder add for you to kite.

Of course, you're still kiting Karam and the spookies so standing still is a bit rough.

I recommend saving Mind Bomb for when the rune is up so you can manage that.

At this point, Raest is attackable and you need to kill him to finish the fight.

You ONLY need to kill Raest standing over there in the middle so don't worry about damaging

Karam in this last phase.

Use the drums, your second combat pot and any cooldowns you have left to finish the

fight.

For Shadow Priests, it's a good bet to take Surrender to Madness and use it here.

Remember to keep interrupting the hands or killing them, don't let anything get to you

and do as much damage as you can.

If you kill Raest, you did it, you're done and you officially have a super cool weapon

skin.

At item level 903 with 41 traits and no Sephuz, I was NOT able to complete this encounter

as a shadow priest.

If you don't have both Prydaz and Sephuz and you're not item level 915+, it may be worth

waiting until you pick those up.

For mythic raid geared shadow priests who do top end damage, you might be able to cheese

the fight by using Surrender to Madness, Mania, drums and bursting down Raest during the 40

seconds you get to hit him in at the start of Phase 2.

For me, I'm going to keep improving my gear and give it some more tries whenever the Mage

Tower comes back up.

Thanks for watching!

Let me know what you think, good luck trying for your challenge appearance and have a wonderful,

wonderful day.

Bye!

Shoulderpod Professional iPhone Grip for a Cruise - Duration: 3:51.

Hey Cruisers, we are back with a look at yet another iPhone gadget.

This time we are gonna take a look at the Shoulderpod S1 Professional iPhone grip.

This little guy here.

If you follow our channel you probably know I use my iPhone a lot.

And the past few cruises I have been using it to film vlogs.

The iPhone takes great video, but it's not the most ergonomic camera around, and holding

it can get a bit awkward at times.

That's where this guy comes in.

We got this primarily as a grip for making filming more comfortable, but it's really

kind of a three in one device.

First and foremost it's a camera grip, but it also works as a tripod mount, and traveler

stand.

For us photos and video are a huge part of cruising, including the stuff we share with

you, but also our priceless family memories.

Having something like this on a cruise can really help us get more steady shots, and

perhaps be a little more creative.

Let's take a look at how this thing works.

It's really pretty simple and the good news is it fits just about any phone including

our enormous 6 plus.

Here's the tripod mount.

This is a standard quarter-20 threaded base that my husband says fits most tripods.

Now let's go ahead and see if I can get my phone in here to show you how it works.

You just unscrew this part here, and then you can pop your phone in like this, and just

tighten it back down.

Good and secure.

And speaking of security, it comes with this extension that has a nice strong wrist strap.

Having this strap might make me a little more confident taking a shot say over the balcony

or something.

Seems like a good thing to have.

Now let's take a look at how the stand works.

You just kind of slide it to the right position and then prop it up.

Simple stuff.

This might work well for those of you that like to use your phone as a nightstand clock,

or maybe just watching videos or something.

It's just a cool bonus feature for us.

You may not be able to tell from just looking, but it feels pretty solidly built.

I don't think you'll have any issues with it breaking or wearing out.

It's a good quality product, I mean it does have professional right in the name, and joking

aside we think it earns that label.

But quality comes with a cost, and this one is a little pricier than some.

We paid right around $30 for this.

Alright, to wrap this one up, here's what we like.

It works just like we wanted.

It makes it more comfortable to hold the phone when filming, and allows us to get some better

shots.

It has a nice secure feel about it, and like I said, it feels well built.

The tripod mount and stand features are nice bonuses.

The only things we don't really like is it's kind of a hassle getting the phone

in and out.

They need some kinds of quick release.

Just sayin'.

And the other thing is it's a bit bulky for my purse, or pocket.

But really that's unavoidable.

You can't have it both ways with something like this.

We'll put some Amazon links to this product on our website CruiseTipsTV.com.

If this is something that interests you, head over there and check it out now.

As always, thank you so much for watching, and until next time get in gear and get cruising.

Does Color Really Affect How You Act? - Duration: 4:01.

Have you ever heard that social media sites have blue backgrounds because blue makes you feel calm?

Or have you read on some pop-psychology site that wearing red to a job interview

will make you more confident?

The Internet is full of sketchy facts and rumors about color psychology—the idea that

certain colors can change our mood or influence our decisions.

But what does the science have to say?

Like a lot of things in psychology, the answer isn't crystal clear.

Colors might affect our perception, and maybe even our behavior, but not always in a predictable way.

And when it comes to why, the jury is still out.

One of the most famous examples of color psychology gone wrong is Baker-Miller pink.

In the late 1960s, a researcher named Alexander Schauss began investigating whether certain

colors could actually cause your body to have a biological response.

After doing some experiments, including a few on himself, he began to believe that

exposure to the color pink had a calming effect, causing the lowering of heart rate and blood pressure

and even weakening muscle strength.

Schauss worked to find a shade of pink that was most effective,

and believed the color could do wonders in prisons.

He convinced a Naval correctional facility—run by Gene Baker and Ron Miller—

to paint a holding cell that color, which came to be known as Baker-Miller pink.

At this prison, incoming inmates were thought to be especially unruly.

But after five months of using the pink holding cell, there had been zero violent or disruptive incidents.

The officers were convinced that the pink paint worked, and were even more impressed

because all it seemed to take was 15 minutes of exposure.

Schauss and others later tried to show that Baker-Miller pink had a physiological effect

on people, and that the color could be a calming force in other prisons.

But those studies don't really hold up when you look at how they were done.

For one thing, the scientists didn't split up the prisoners randomly and put half in

pink rooms and the other half in, say, white rooms.

Instead, they simply compared the amount of violence in the first year,

when there were white walls, to the following year when things were painted pink.

Carefully controlled experiments have failed to find that Baker-Miller pink is, as Schauss claimed, tranquilizing.

But that doesn't mean that color doesn't matter at all!

Consider experiments done in 2012 in the Netherlands, with people using poker chips.

When poker players were given red chips, they bet more and and were more competitive.

When asked how they were feeling during the game, they reported feeling stronger.

Players using white or blue chips, on the other hand, tended to fold more.

So color does seem capable of changing feelings and behavior.

But that raises the question of … why?

Is that because red has some sort of biological effect on people when they're playing poker?

Or is it that people learn to associate certain meanings with certain colors, because of their culture?

Red might have an emboldening effect on a select group of Dutch people—as seemed to

be the case in the poker study—but not on people in Japan or Kenya, for example.

And even then, the associations that we make with a color at a poker table

won't necessarily apply to your wardrobe.

You probably have your own, personal associations with red, too.

So, something about color matters.

The challenge for psychologists today is to figure out how and why colors affect us, while

avoiding the mistakes of their Baker-Miller pink past.

That means improving research methods—including by being more careful about what we mean by "color."

When we talk about color, we usually think about hue, or the wavelength of a red, say, versus a blue.

But there's also how bright it is, and how intense and vivid it is.

In the past, most researchers have varied all these elements at the same time,

making it really hard to interpret results.

So, even though we can't say that a certain color will make you happier or less violent,

colors can influence our feelings and alter our behavior—we're just not sure exactly how or why.

Winter = Fun in Northwestern Ontario - Duration: 1:19.

You know, I think a lot of us take it for granted really.

We live in God's country.

People travel hundreds and hundreds of miles just to have a taste of what we have at our

back door.

We're here at the 2017 Kenora Kids Can Fish Event.

We have a beautiful day and we're full again.

When we have a beautiful day like this, it's always important to get out and stay active

and take part in something to bring the community together.

Anybody can come from their house in Kenora, come down here, they get a free rod, free

reel, jig, minnow, doughnut, set up and go catch some fish and experience what we love.

It's a lot of work to put all this stuff together and we have incredible sponsors.

The Dingwall Group, they sponsor all these events.

Hockey Day in Canada, the Kids Can Fish Event, because they value community spirit and understand

the importance of keeping families active during the winter.

Any support we can give to any events like this, we're always on board.

I like catching fish and my Dad likes catching fish.

Yeah, it's a good life with the kids, it's the way to bring 'em up.

To see young kids getting into the same sport that we're passionate about, that kind of

drives us too because they are the future of fishing.

What'd you catch?

Fresh air, sunshine and catch a fish or two.

I got a question for you.

Who catches more fish?

Me.
