Colorful Mardi Gras Parade Necklace - Duration: 3:31.

Hi, I'm Sandy Sandler, and today we're going to make this really cute Mardi Gras necklace.

It's a bit over the top, but we'll have fun with it.

And so, the first thing that I'm going to do is take my Bowdabra, fold my wire in half

and lay it down the long way in the Bowdabra, and tuck the ends underneath just to keep

them out of my way.

Then what I'm going to do is I have these awesome, colorful Mardi Gras necklaces that

I actually bought at the dollar store, and I got like about 10 of them together.

It was really cool.

Then I have this really cool Mardi Gras boa, and I also bought this at the dollar store.

So, this is a really inexpensive project.

And I'm just going to layer all that in, and I think that's probably enough.

So, I'm just going to find a little place in my boa and cut the string right here, and

I'm probably going to get feathers all over.

Now what I'm going to do is take my tubular mesh, and I've got two pieces of tubular mesh.

Oh, and one trick with tubular mesh is the ends kind of fray a little bit, so what I

do is I tuck the ends inside, so I make a little tuck into the tubular mesh so it won't

fray.

Then I just lay that down in there.

Then I'm going to take some of my -- I just had this extra piece, and you know what?

I'm just going to cut some pieces of this and just lay these little pieces of my garland.

So, I think I'm going to cut -- let's see, another one, and just kind of fold that in

there.

And cut another piece.

Fold it in there.

And I think I'll just use it all.

So, I'll cut it in half here and lay this in and lay that in, and I think I have 1,

2, 3, 4, I have 5 pieces of the garland.

And I think I will use my Bowdabra wand just to scrunch everything in there.

Bring my wire, and as always, I have a loop.

Pull the two ends through my slipknot.

Pull it tight while it's still in the Bowdabra so that when I pull it out I can just separate

my ends and bring it around to the back.

And I'm going to just double knot it.

And we have our beautiful necklace for Mardi Gras.

Dive Conditions Report For Caloundra 15 February 2017 Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia #ScubaDive - Duration: 3:03.

Hey people of the interwebs it is Q bringing

you your dive conditions midweek

report and here at the Caloundra coast

guard jetty the Pumicestone Passage is

looking quite clean and diveable. We are on

an incoming tide at the moment, so that's

a good sign that it might stay this way

for the weekend.

Unfortunately the tide times on Saturday

and Sunday are not going to be in your

favor. As we overlook Kings Beach the

effect of the current moderate Southeaster

can be seen on the surface with one

or two whitecaps here and there. There is

some visibility, but I estimate that if

you went in today visibility would be

around about 1 or 2 meters. By the time

the weekend rolls around there will be a

wind change. Saturday we're expecting it

to be moderate from the north northeast

and Sunday fresh from the

north-northeast. Here on Kings Beach

boat ramp, confirmation of that reduced

visibility, approximately 1 to 2 metres

if you went in today. There is a

chance it could clear up a little bit

more for the weekend, as long as the

weather stays fine. We are expecting

Saturday to be sunny and possible rain

on Sunday. As we move further around

the Caloundra coastline, conditions are

looking a lot worse and here at Shelly

Beach at the moment there's absolutely

zero visibility and of course the

surface conditions not conducive to a

safe and easy entry and exit. And I'm not

holding out any hope that this might settle

down and clear up somewhat by the

weekend. As we take a bird's-eye view

down onto The Keyhole dive site, the

surface conditions here are as we'd

expect them to be with the current wind

direction coming from the southeast.

When the surface conditions are encouraging

a lot of surfers to be out on the waves,

you know it's not good conditions to go

scuba-diving. Here at Moffat Beach the

visibility again, I'd estimate if you

went in today, around about the 1 to 2

metre mark and of course when the wind

change comes through from the north

northeast on the weekend then the

surface conditions here are only going

to get worse. Your tide times for this weekend,

And we're expecting the swell

to be somewhere between 1 and 1.5 meters.

So in summary, I'm not holding out a lot

of hope for a shore dive in the Caloundra

area this weekend, with the wind change

coming through and the current water

conditions, I think your best bet might

be Kings Beach boat ramp for both surface

conditions and visibility, but even then

it's not going to be spectacular.

Well Good Morning, my friends!

Welcome to another Live Inspired with John O'Leary!

I'm delighted, as I am every Wednesday morning, to be with you on these vlogs.

Stephen Covey wrote that most people listen with the intent to reply, not with the intent

to understand.

That's true for many individuals, but it was not true for my physician growing up as a

kid.

Most of you, by this point, realize that I was burned as a little boy, spent five months

in the hospital, had a phenomenal team that took care of me, spearheaded by a phenomenal

leader, Dr. Vatche Ayvazian.

And I remember in the morning, occasionally he would turn around to the young residents

marching around, "rounding" with him.

He would look at them and say these words.

Listen to them:

"Ladies and Gentleman, you have two eyes, two ears, and one mouth.

Use them in proportion."

You have two eyes (to see, to evaluate), two ears (to hear, to really perceive what's going

on within your patient's rooms, within their lives, within their family dynamics, within

that room), and one mouth (to speak).

Use them in proportion.

As we race through our days and our patient visits, and onto the factory floors, and into

the offices where we work, and through the carpool lines of our lives, I would encourage

you to remember those words, my friends.

You have two eyes (see the beauty around you),

two ears (listen to what's happening around you, but also within you)

and then one mouth.

Listen today instead of with the intent to respond, listen today to truly understand.

It's going to transform what you hear and how you step into your day.

Honda Prelude Voltage Regulator Replacement - Duration: 2:04.

First things first we need to remove the air filter thing.

Don't forget to unplug the battery...

Now we can see the alternator. There are 3 bolts to be removed

Drop the nuts and you'll have a fun time getting them out.

After that there is a plate that comes off pretty easily.

Then there are 3 coupling nuts with threading that come off pretty easily too.

And don't forget the plug pointing towards the front of the car. It's got a rubber thing hiding a nut.

Once you get that off, there's one more nut underneath it.

Now the alternator cover comes off (with some fighting)

Off at last.

Now there are 5 tiny screws mounted on the regulator

The ones in the back are rather hard to get to.

You can look at your replacement regulator for screw locations

One of these days I'm gonna get myself a mirror so I can actually see the screws instead of look all over for them.

We've removed the regulator!

Now we just reverse the process. I put in the long bolts first.

Once the regulator is back on, we put back on the cover

Just the reverse of taking it all off.

And then on goes the metal bracket thing.

Plug everything back in...

And put the car back together.

In this post you can find the answers to the following questions: what's involved in

the process of getting your code running in the first place.

What slows it down, how can you measure it, and what can you do to lower parse times?

You may have noticed, I'm usually falling in love with funny tutorials.

Because according to a well established fact of science, the information, provoking the

emotions, helps better memorizing.

That's why let me grab your attention to the article namely "A TOAST TO ES2015 DESTRUCTURING".

Phil Nash explains this new JavaScript feature using a couple of examples.

One more informative article about ES2015 is "The Promise of a Burger Party" by Mariko

Kosaka.

She uses physical metaphor in order to explain Promises, Fetch and all that stuff.

Now these concepts are interconnected in my brain.

"5 Brilliant Ways to Lazy Load Images For Faster Page Loads" on Dynamic Drive blog is

attributes' usage to a comprehensive plugin tracking scrollbar' events.

I believe we should use Lazy Load Images for each web-site in production.

Rob Dodson has released another episode of A11y cast.

In this episode he shows how elements actually get their accessible names, and some techniques

you can use to provide proper labeling.

I consider Graaf Grid tool interesting.

This is pure CSS grid overlays for designing your project.

You can use a predefined grid overlay from the collection or create your custom grid

overlays using the new Graaf API.

If you're interested in SVG, you might like a collection of repeatable SVG background

patterns for you to use on your digital projects.

In case you're still using Icon Fonts (even GitHub stopped doing that) Elliot Dahl wrote

an article "Align SVG Icons to Text and Say Goodbye to Font Icons " just for you.

This is a scalable solution for solving the alignment issues of SVGs.

If you find Flex boxes responsive layouts sexy, but all these tutorials are dull for

you, then you might like "How Flexbox works — explained with big, colorful, animated

gifs" by Scott Domes.

His article contains a bunch of animated pictures that probably reveal the Flex box mystery.

In his turn Nick Babich posted the article "Best Practices for Long Scrolling" on Babich

dot biz.

He derives the general rules and identifies the best practice.

There are a lot of examples of using animation and user actions.
