MASSPIRG RELEASED A REPORT ON
WEDNESDAY, THAT SAYS OUR LAWS
AREN'T DOING ENOUGH TO PREVENT
LEAD EXPOSURE IN THE WATER AT
PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
PUBLIC HEALTH ADVOCATES GATHERED
AT THE STATEHOUSE, TO CALL ON
OUR
LAWMAKERS - TO PASS A BILL THAT
WOULD HELP CHANGE THAT.
SO FAR, AT LEAST 80 STATE
LAWMAKERS HAVE SIGNED ONTO A
BILL, THAT WOULD
REQUIRE ALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO
TEST THEIR WATER FOR LEAD.
THEY WOULD ALSO HAVE TO INSTALL
LEAD FILTERS, IN THEIR WATER
TAPS.
THIS COMES ABOUT A MONTH AFTER
THE DEP RELEASED THE RESULTS
FROM A
PROGRAM THAT TESTED THE WATER AT
SCHOOLS IN MASSACHUSETTS, FOR
ELEVATED LEVELS OF LEAD.
OUT OF THE RESULTS THEY'VE
GOTTEN BACK SO FAR, HIGH LEVELS
OF LEAD HAVE BEEN
FOUND IN NEARLY HALF OF THE
WATER SAMPLES, AND THAT INCLUDES
NEARLY A
HUNDRED SCHOOLS IN WESTERN
MASSACHUSETTS.

and he selected a work that I love so much, which was the first commercial we did at
F/Nazca for Leica, the 'Alma' ad, which tells the story of a Leica III that during it's life accompanied
the famous Fotographer Robert Capa. The film was made in Cuba, directed by Vellas, shoot by Faccioli,
those two guys are the major managers of the film, 'cause they teared up our eyes the first time
we saw it, they made the client leave the room to take a breath, because of the emotion...
I have to thank also the creative who worked with me
Thiago Carvalho, João Linneu, the guy who knows Leica the most, Edu Lima, Fabio, all the team
of the agency which embraced this project...
Thiago and me, we felt something special because the Fabio's whistle legend
really exists.
I started working five years before and the Fabio's whistle legend already existed
if he liked something so much, he took the whistle and made it sound, but in those 5 years I never
listened it, and I thought: the whistle doesn't exists, there's a lot of people making great things, and nothing
But one day, we heard the ad's music coming from Fabio's desk...
He got up, took the whistle and vuuummmmmmmmmm
So this work has Fabio's whistle approval, which is great.
And I have to mention a work, a the one I'll select has been made in 2009,
I feel a good envy for this work, because it's simple and has a tireless humor
I watch it anytime, it's a commercial created by The Community Buenos Aires for MTV, called 'Bird'
That ad takes place in a kitchen, with a teenager making it's snack
but suddenly we hear a bird talking with the teenager.

The Moment I Woke Up - Duration: 2:14.
I would say my hard moment was the moment when I was laying in bed in treatment,
feeling sorry for myself, and wondering why is this happening to me.
And then where I lived at the time, there was a path, and people would walk their
children on the path and walk their dogs. And so, I was laying in bed, you know,
with diarrhea, throwing up, so shitting, sweating, and depressed,
and thinking, "What the heck is going on?" And I wasn't laughing like this.
I was just kind of like laughing as in like a
what-in-the-heck-is-happening-right-now, and I heard a baby. A mother was walking
her child and I heard the baby laughing. And, you know, even today,
that makes me tear up, because as I'm laying in bed thinking that I'm maybe
dying, and I worry about myself and my life, this baby's just been probably born.
This little baby has no idea about life or about the world or about cancer or illness
or disease. And if I were to fall into an abyss of depression or self-pity or even
an abyss of the myth of that I have time to live whether or not I was sick or the
myth that I would get better and go back to my job or the myth of, you know,
"This is not my problem," I'm going to be in some aspect negating this child of
something that it could have that could better his or her life.
So my inability to act on the world and impress upon the world my experiences,
my story, my energy could, in some way, obstruct or empower this child's life.
And so, that little baby's laughter really woke me up to the fact that we are the
change we want to see in the world, and we owe it to each other to wake up out of our
fears, to wake up out of our insecurities, to wake up out of our own negative
self-talk, and to utilize our experiences to make the world better for ourselves and
for our children and for those who are even not yet born.

I Want To Leave A Mark On The World - Duration: 2:28.
I want to give people breadcrumbs in my life. For me, I always think about
breadcrumbs. I want to be able to drop breadcrumbs along. So even if you don't
know me, if I'm gone in 20 years, or 30 or 10 years, you're going to be able to go to
my site, read my book, see a blog. I want to put a breadcrumb into you,
into you, into her and that breadcrumb, it's like a fire, like a light.
It's going to multiply. So I feel like, people get mad at me sometimes,
but for me it was a blessing going through this experience. I can say it because I
have survived war, three wars. I've been hit by lightning. Those things were also
blessings for me. Because as human beings, we don't grow, for some reason,
until we're challenged with something. We have to get hit before we wake up.
I don't want people to have to get challenged to wake up or to get scared.
But for me, I was living my life very much in a plateau, kind of [just] existing.
I had all this person inside of me, but I didn't know she was in there.
Not until I was faced with the fact that I could die in a matter of months.
Then, I thought, "Holy f-... I don't have time to wait." So I began Tigerlily in
treatment, left my job a couple months later, and I've built this thing and I've
met all these people. My breadcrumbs are everywhere. So I think it's important to
not wait to have things happen, but using your story, telling your story to help
others to see what you've been through and to be inspired to use their life for
something bigger, or to not be afraid, or to speak up, or to walk into their fear,
or to be honest about what they're facing. Like I've had friends who I've met who've
committed suicide. Sometimes the thing that is such a heartbreak after they're
gone is the why. It's just one situation that happened that could just flip them
over the edge, and they were afraid of talking to somebody about it.
Or one of my friends who committed suicide, I never knew he was facing living
with depression. The other friend committed suicide, because he had an idea
that people would judge him if they knew he was living with depression.
So I find that conversations are so important. Sharing is so important.
Being vulnerable is important, because people need to... We're all hiding things
at some level. The more you talk about what you're dealing with or what you're
feeling, the more authentic you can be in relationships, and then you can also help
other people.

Malaysian official confirms murdered victim is Kim Jong-nam, N. Korean leader's half brother - Duration: 1:58.
We start in Malaysia,... where reports are surfacing of a third arrest being made in
the murder of Kim Jong-nam, the half brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
To bring you more details on that, we have Kwon Jang-ho on the line from Seoul's unification
ministry.
Tell us Jang-ho, what can you tell us about this third suspect?
Not much I'm afraid Daniel.
News reports have emerged of a male suspect in custody, but no official statement has
been made by the police yet.
They are saying he is Malaysian and the boyfriend of the female suspect who was arrested early
this morning.
Now information on HER arrest has been released by the police.
She is said to be 25 years old and was carrying an Indonesian passport.
That's in contrast to the first suspect arrested yesterday, who was carrying a Vietnamese passport.
These two women are thought to be the ones who approached Kim at the Kuala Lumpur airport
on Monday morning, and poisoned him with some sort of needle or spray.
The authorities are working with both Indonesian and Vietnamese embassies to confirm their
identities.
The police have added they still looking for more people related to the case.
So more arrests possibly on the way.
I understand the autopsy was completed yesterday, but has there been any news on the results?
Not yet, we are still waiting for an official statement on the cause of death.
In the meantime, the authorities have confirmed that the victim is Kim Jong-nam.
The police up till this point had officially referred to him as "Kim Chol," which was the
name found on the passport he was carrying.
But Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid gave a press conference, confirming his identity.
He has also promised that the body will be returned to the next of kin or the North Korean
embassy in Kuala Lumpur, once all medical investigations have been completed.
Mister Zahid also expressed a desire to maintain Malaysia's close ties with North Korea, saying
that the Malaysia-North Korea relationship would not be affected by this incident.

Media art exhibition presents high-tech versions of iconic Klimt artworks - Duration: 2:20.
A museum in Seoul is putting on a special exhibition that combines art with technology
to show the fourth industrial revolution isn't just limited to the fields of science and
technology.
Kim Hyesung shows how Klimt's finest works are relit at Seongsu S-Factory
Glamorous, colorful, bold,…with his signature gold leaves.
What you're seeing is a reinterpretation of the work of Gustav Klimt, using projectors
and LED lights.
Over 260 artworks by the Austrian painter, who was famous for breaking with the confines
of the classic academic tradition of the 19th century and creating work reminiscent of Byzantine
mosaics, are projected onto the walls of this gallery in Seoul.
- "We wanted to present a new form of art -- storytelling
through visual art and sound.
We recreated the structures of the paintings, highlighting areas like the facial expressions,
to better convey the painter's message."
In one hall containing three long LED panels, the women, angels and knights of Klimt's "Beethoven
Frieze" move for seven minutes, as Beethoven's Symphony Number Nine plays in the background,...
dramatically conveying the human desire for love and happiness in a world full of suffering.
"I thought it was very interesting.
I thought it was very cool how they used the gallery space to show some old paintings in
a new modern way with the projectors and all that."
Technology also lends a modern twist to Klimt's iconic masterpiece "The Kiss," showing the
two lovers embracing one another in their elaborate gold robes, transcending time and
space.
The mysterious moment behind the kiss is also recreated in this piece, titled "Shelter."
As visitors walk through the cube, motion sensors trigger the LED lights, conveying
Klimt's message that love, existing separate from reality, is the ideal shelter.
"The Vienna Secession, a group of artists who, along with Klimt, explored and created
new styles of art once said 'To every age its art To every art its freedom.'
And this seems to ring all the more true today at this Klimt exhibition, which tries to give
viewers a whole new experience of art.

Some call it the �Door to Hell�. At 12,262 meters the Kola Superdeep Borehole is the
deepest artificial point on our planet. No one expected these discoveries.
There are some who firmly believe the human race knows more about distant galaxies and
alien planets located light years away from Earth than what lies beneath the surface of
our planet.
Curiously, it took the Voyager 1 spacecraft nearly 26 years to exit our solar system,
which is about the same amount of time scientists on Earth needed to penetrate 12 kilometers
into our planet�s surface.
After more than two decades, scientists created the Kola Superdeep Borehole and a drill depth
of more than 7.5 miles (12 kilometers).
The borehole itself (welded shut), August 2012. Please don�t try to open it for the
love of God.
The Kola Superdeep Borehole reached 12,262 meters (40,230 ft) in 1989 becoming the deepest
artificial point on our planet.
To put that into perspective, the Kola Superdeep Borehole descends further than the deepest
point of the ocean, which lies at nearly 6.8 miles (11 kilometers).

Well, after 26 years of intensive drilling efforts, experts found that there�s a LOT
of water down there. Scientists discovered hot mineralized water almost everywhere down
the drilling path.
But not only is there water down there, scientists discovered the Earth has Gas. Not that type
of gas. Scientists found, helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, and even carbon dioxide (from microbes)
all along the borehole.
One of the greatest surprises was that experts found there is no basalt under the continent�s
granite. Scientists believed that at 9,000 meters the granite would give way to basalt.
However, to their surprise, it doesn�t.
Furthermore, scientists discovered there are FOSSILS in granite located around 6,700 meters
below the surface.
In addition to the above, scientists found that the temperature at the bottom of the
hole reached a staggering 180 degrees celsius, officially too hot to continue, and rightfully
earning the nickname �Door to Hell�.
But perhaps what�s even more impressive is the fact that scientists estimate that
the distance to the center of our planet is nearly 4,000 miles (6,400 kilometers). Turns
out, 6,500 kilometers isn�t anywhere close and what scientists managed to drill trough
barely scratches the surface.
�By far the most riveting discovery from the project, however, was the detection of
microscopic plankton fossils in rocks over 2 billion years old, found four miles beneath
the surface,� reports Bryan Nelson from Mother Nature Network.
�These �microfossils� represented about 24 ancient species, and were encased in organic
compounds which somehow survived the extreme pressures and temperatures that exist so far
beneath the Earth.�
The project was officially terminated in 2005, leaving only a rusted metal cap as a marker
of its existence.

We find that there's a variation in the indoor but because the indoor temperature and humidity
is more likely to be more stable than it is outdoor, we don't see that much of a variation
but we do see a difference between the mold growth in the wintertime from what you would
see in the summertime.
So if we see something near our guidelines in the wintertime, we know that's the best
that's gonna get.
And we know that as time goes on in the summertime, it's gonna get a lot worse.
So if it looks like it's on the border of a problem in the wintertime, we say, "Hey,
it's really a problem."
In the summertime, if it's very close to our guidelines and there's no other factors to
influence it, we know that that's the worse it's gonna get.
And probably it's gonna get better in the wintertime as the nature's portion of what
can affect it will affect it.
Now, that won't make a difference in terms if you have water damage, if you have a leak
from a dripping something, a plumbing leak in the wall or if a washer overflows or your
toilet overflows or something like that.
It's not going to affect that because that's strictly an indoor event and whether it's
got humidity outside or not, it's not going to make a big difference.

Turning to the massive corruption scandal in Korea...
The independent counsel requested a 30-day-extension for its investigation, saying it needs more
time to untangle the threads of the case.
Meanwhile, the fate of Samsung Group heir apparent Lee Jae-yong is hanging in the balance
as a court hears arguments on whether he should be arrested.
Hwang Hojun has the latest.
The independent counsel spokesperson said Thursday that the team has filed for a 30-day
extension of its original 90-day investigative mandate.
By law, the request for an extension must be made at least three days prior to the deadline
but can also be made earlier.
It will now be up to Hwang Kyo-ahn, the prime minister and the acting president, to decide
whether to grant the one-time extension.
"Unlike previous investigations, this one has so many more people and branches.
it won't be possible to complete the investigation by the 28th, and the acting president will
need time to review the request before making any decisions."
Shortly after the spokesperson had finished the briefing, the team came up against another
obstacle, after the Seoul Administrative Court rejected its request to override the presidential
office and let it search the premises.
The decision makes it impossible to force a search on the presidential office.
Meanwhile, the Seoul Central District Court is hearing the team's request for a second
warrant to arrest Lee Jae-yong, the heir apparent of Samsung Group.
"Regarding the request for a second arrest warrant, I'm just going to say the independent
counsel has made sufficient preparations in advance."
In filing for the warrant on Tuesday, the counsel expanded the charges against Lee to
include diverting assets overseas and concealing the gains from a criminal act.
That's on top of the original charges of bribery, embezzlement and perjury the team filed against
Lee with its first arrest warrant request that was rejected last month.
"The fate of the Samsung chief -- whether he will return home as a free man or be forced
to remain in detention -- is expected to be decided on Thursday night or early Friday
morning.

Uh.. Since Winston's particularly effective again squishies,
Winston can't solo kill heroes like Hog or Rein,
because of the tank meta,
instead of Winston, I played this season with heroes like
D.Va, Roadhog, and Reinhardt.
Q. Counters to Winston?
Winston's counters? First of all, Roadhog scares me the most.

Regarding Reaper, you can solo kill him if you have barrier,

You can't kill Hog.

use it and block the damage.
Or, when you're cutting off Tracer,
and you predict Ana's gonna heal her, then you block the heals like this.
Blocking the heals is also important.
Q. Other tips?
You can block Reinhardt's ult with this.
Fire at Rein for a bit,
and if you think he's gonna ult, E and it will block his ult.
And if Lúcio's in the Barrier Projector,
the enemies are going to be outside it.

If you stick to their tanks, you'll barely do anything.
For example, if we have a Genji,
say in voice chat, "Genji, let's go cut Ana, she's on 2nd floor"
and Genji's going to follow your order.
You can cut her off easily.
Q. Which support heroes have the highest priority?
If Lúcio's alone, you can go for him,
but I just think it's Ana. When going for Ana,
it's key to block her dart with your barrier.

Most Winstons just jump off to the distance blindly.

For this tutorial I used 1 yard or meter of sequin fabric.
Double or triple that if you're plus size.
Use half a dress or a skirt to determine the length of the bottom
Then I cut a piece on the small end of my fabric for the bottom of my dress
Later on I will wrap this up and sew it
For the front place your fabric with the wrong side up
Place a top and fold it on one side and cut it
Use this piece and cut it again
These are the front pieces of the Disco Dress
For the back I used the fabric that was left Since it wasn't enough I cut it twice and
sewed it together
Place half your top or dress on top and cut it
I used the front piece to determine the length Then do it again
Place the pieces on top with the right sides facing.
Pin it together in the middle and sew it
I used an universal needle and regular stitch for this and it worked fine for the sequin
fabric
Now place the front pieces on top and pin the sides
Pin the top and fold it if necessary
Sew the sides and top
Open your top and place the bottom on top with right sides facing
pin the top and then sew it
Your dress is composed of 3 parts Fold it 1/3 and sew this bit
You can do sew by machine or sew a sewing snap by hand there
Then do the same on the other side If you sew it make sure it's wide enough
otherwise it will be to tight to put it on
