Youtube daily report Feb 16 2017

New technologies are part of

the election campaign, but ...

do you know that The Walking Dead provided data

that helped Donald Trump win the election?

So says Jared Kuchner, Ivanka Trump's husband

and the strategist mind behind the election campaign.

Trump's team hired companies

specializing in mapping voter universes

o identify which of the president's agenda

citizens rated more.

These companies were able to relate

the most popular television programs

to specific blocks of voters and thus determine that the viewers of The Walking Dead

are people who are concerned about the issue of immigration.

This strategy allowed the Trump campaign

o come up with specific messages for each block of voters,

focusing these messages

to those who were willing to accept them.

[CALLIGRAFIA] CORSO per PRINCIPIANTI lez 1 - esercizi base e materiali - Duration: 11:17.

Hello everyone and welcome to the first lesson of modern calligraphy course for beginners.

If you've never ventured into the calligraphy Modern can also think you, as

I thought, that's a difficult thing to learn and perform well.

In fact, as you will see, it takes the right exercises and a bit 'of practice to learn

to write in this way.

In the first lesson of our course in calligraphy we will see the basics and the exercises we need

to learn the correct way the movements to do.

Let's see the necessary material but before I recommend: remember to register

to the channel!

When I learn some new technique, unless that there are no materials of which their

you can not help but, I like to try arrangiandomi a bit 'with what I have.

I also recommend to you to do the same before to spend money to buy the markers

calligraphic: for example, I at first I I used what I had at home.

But what you can also use you to get started to make the first exercises and to see if there

I like to learn modern calligraphy?

you can try to do the first exercises with these markers on double pointed needles found

easily to the supermarket and they have a fine tip and a conical tip.

I have also tried to use this type of pointed brush, that is the classic brush

to paint, this marker double pointed which it is different from the previous one by a

part has a flat tip on the other the tip is shorter

this red instead is a calligraphic marker true that is part of a package

12 colored markers.

These are calligraphic pens I purchased recently and have pointed to several

size: as you can see are big media is small

I also tried using a retractable brush lip intingendolo ink

which is used for pads also stamps if the most suitable for calligraphic projects

It is definitely the ink.

To make plans then you have to give away clearly they serve specifically suited cards

for calligraphy.

To start making the first exercises I though I used the classic striped EXERCISE

those used at school.

In any case you will find the detailed description the materials that I showed you.

Now comes the first exercises The main movements as you will see are two

I will begin by showing them using this calligraphic pen and then let you see

the yield with the other instruments that I have already shown before.

We will do the first exercises using three lines: first we have to learn to do properly

the upward movement. every time we trace an ascending line

we must touch the paper with the tip of marker.

we must try to make lines of a thickness as uniform as possible.

the second movement is downward.

The descending line must be thick and to do that we must give greater

force on the marker, then the tip of the marker.

as you will see will be much easier too for you to make a descending line that a

ascending line. perform an ascending line In fact, it is more difficult because you have to

maintain the same pressure to be able to make lines that have a uniform thickness. not

dismayed if initially there will be all the same exercise is just what

that is, try to make more uniform lines possible also trying make her more and more

thin on as they are making it. after having exercised with ascending lines

and descending lines spend their third year in which the two types must toggle of

lines. then we will make an ascending line.

So let's start: ascending, descending, ascending, descending and so on

That's a habit now to keep marker or brush in hand in the same position

because if you get used to hold it in a way to fine lines and another for the

thick lines then, then when you write letters and words, it will be difficult to operate the marker

in the right way.

It is true that you can do it slowly but becomes more difficult to achieve good results

if you continue to change the position of the brush in his hands.

Practice so initially it may seem or be more difficult, but that's it

that the exercise is more effective.

I advise you to exercise even only five minutes every day.

Now for the fourth exercise: without taking the pen from the paper we have to do consecutively

an ascending and a descending line Now you can give a better account of how

been effective the first exercises in coaching the hand to exert a different pressure

depending on what you are tracing.

In the fifth year we do the opposite starting with the descending line and then

make that ascending.

In the sixth year we combine the previous two: without removing the tip from the sheet must

draw a wavy line continues

the last two years of the first lesson of our modern calligraphy class do

these vertical lines that begin or end with a hook.

We start by making a descending line and then We do the hook by lifting the tip. for

we have to help us imagine that our hand rebounds on the paper do the same

What even the contrary, then little pressure to make the hook and then more pressure to

make the descending line Let's see the differences with others

instruments.

With a conical tip marker is more easy to do the ascending fine lines compared

the calligraphic pen because the tip It is tougher

as it regards the descendants lines instead there is a big difference

This type of marker has a short tip and soft, with which it is more difficult to

make thin ascending lines and uniform.

For descending there are no major problems but unfortunately, as you see, the ink

passes away and stain the paper below, so it is not exactly the best.

It may still be suitable for practice because the important thing for the initial years

you learn to make the right move with the hand.

we now see with the brush to the lips I dip it in the ink for tampons.

With this you can easily make lines ascendants and descendants of different thickness

exerting more or less pressure on the brush.

By the way, as you see, this ink does not pass on the other side of the sheet

Now let's try this brush

and Indian ink If you have not or do not find this Brush

type or calligraphic pens, my advice to start is to use a small brush

for the lips because compared to the brush classic painting has shorter bristles

and a little 'harder.

This, especially in the beginning, allowing you to have more control over which lines were

doing.

Practice and the appointment is for the second lesson of modern calligraphy class

for beginners.

Hello and the next!

Ewangeliarz OP - 16 lutego 2017 - (Mk 8, 27-33) - Duration: 2:24.

[music]

Do you talk about Jesus Christ with people who do not declare themselves as believers?

Are you able to ask a question: What do you know about Jesus?

What do you think about Him?

What are your impressions? How do you interpret Him?

I suppose this is not a very common practice.

I guess that we either evangelize or refuse charges.

And if we could ask such a question more offensively?

Who is He to you? In a cultural context, in general, how do you perceive Him?

What movies do you know? What theater play can you remind?

Or: what books related to the person of Jesus do you know, and what did you get from them?

Today, the Lord asks his disciples in the Gospel: "Who do people say I am?"

They are surprised. We can sense the astonishment of the Apostles.

The begin to dig the memory in search of some related answers.

But the question Jesus asks, seems to me as worth moving in our life practice.

It's worth to treat it as a task for us.

The more we realize what this name is doing to the people,

how do they think about it, the more chance we have

first: to discover the gift of faith in Christ, which we received

with a delight and gratitude that it is given to us to see in Him.... who?

Because it is the extension of the question asked by Jesus.

But also we are more prepared to the dialog with the world in the present day,

when we want to spread the truth about who Jesus Christ is.

L'Oreal Total Cover Foundation - 311 Creme Cafe & 312 Cocoa | TakiyahLouise - Duration: 19:27.

Hi, I'm Takiyah Louise.

Thanks for clicking through to view my Demo & First Impressions review of the L'Oreal

Infallible Total Cover Foundation.

And, I picked up 2 shades because neither one was an exact match to my skin tone.

I picked up 311 Creme Cafe & 312 Cocoa.

Now, I picked up 311 Creme Cafe because in the L'Oreal True Match Super Blendable powder

that's what I am; w8 Creme Cafe.

But this Creme Cafe ended up being slightly too light & a little bit ashy on me so that's

why I picked up the 312 Cocoa so I could mix them together & hopefully get a warmer shade.

Now, on my skin I currently have on the Revision Skin Care Professional Multi - Protection

Broad Spectrum SPF 50.

And, I wear this everyday, it's like a moisturizer & SPF in one that doesn't leave a white

cast on brown skin which is very important.

Now, this one is a bit pricey.

It's an 8 ounce bottle & it cost me $180 when I last bought it.

Now, they also do have a 1.7 ounce size that goes for around $40 when it's not on sale.

And I purchased it from a website called Lovely Skin & if you sign up for their emails you'll

be notified of their sales & they usually run anywhere from 20 to 30 percent off on

their beauty products so it makes the cost even less.

Also, on my skin I have the Boscia White Charcoal Mattifying Makeup Setting Spray & I use this

with a cotton round because I broke the pump.

So, I can't really attest to it being like a finishing spray but I do like it on my skin

to take down a little bit of the shine that's left behind from SPF that I put on.

Now generally, I wear the Estee Lauder Perfectionist Youth Infusing Makeup in 5N2 Amber Honey but

like I said, I had to mix the 2 of these shades together.

So, if you look at this : up here is Amber Honey - I just put a dot of that in there

to try to shade match the 2.

And, this is what I came up with when I mixed the 2 of them together.

It is a thicker, mousse consistency so it was a little interesting to mix together.

Now, I'll do like, a quick swatch of each one of them on my face just so you can see

the difference.

Now, this one is 312 Cocoa.

And you can see that's a little red on me.

And then, this one - seemed to dry down a little bit.

And then, this one is Creme Cafe.

And it's a little too light, so I mixed the 2 of them together & this is what I came

up with.

You can see it kind of blends into my skin so I'm hoping that it looks better.

I'm going to wipe a little of this away.

And, I'm going to be using my damp Beauty Blender to apply the mixture that I made.

I think this is just a little too wet, let me wring it out.

Okay, let me try that again.

Now, I watched a lot of Youtube videos on this foundation while I was waiting for my

Walgreens to get it in & I learned that you need to work in sections because it will dry

on you.

Now, I'm working this side of my face first just to see what it looks like & I think;

it doesn't look too bad, the mixture that I made, it's not an exact match to my skin

tone but it does make it look a little better.

Now, obviously, this foundation has some claims.

It claims to be : 24 hour wearing - I'm not sure who's wearing foundation for 24

hours but I'd like to meet them & see what their life is like.

The finish on it is supposed to be natural, the coverage is high & the texture is air

light.

So, we'll see how it wears throughout the day.

Oh, also, I put on the - I got a sample of the Boscia Porefecting White Charcoal Mattifying

Treatment Primer from Sephora this weekend.

And I applied this to my T-zone & my nose area & cheek area right here just so I can

see if I can become less oily.

Because, my skin type is combination but it leans more towards oily, especially in the

T-zone.

And, I have very sensitive skin so the Boscia brand is just wonderful if you have sensitive

skin & you're trying to - or damaged skin & you're trying to improve it.

I really recommend it but this is not a skincare video, I might make one & get into that another

time.

So, let me continue to apply this to my face.

And, it was kinda tricky for me to mix this together because I first put in the Creme

Cafe then I put in a couple drops of the Cocoa.

Then it was looking too red.

Then, I put in more Creme Cafe & it was looking too neutral, really.

I have like, golden undertones in my skin & I find it difficult to find foundations

that match that.

And that's why I really like the Estee Lauder Perfectionist because I feel like it does

it the best.

Now, I've got it on my skin.

Let me try to blend it into my neck a little better because it is a little more chocolatey

than my skin tone.

You can see my neck & then my face it's a little more chocolatey, a little more red

- which I like.

But I don't want it to be too drastic of a change.

But this is what it looks like when it's on my skin.

So, it doesn't look too bad.

And, it feels… it feels matte & it looks matte so I'm not going to set it with a

powder like I normally would.

So, the time right now is 10:37.

I will be back to check in later on this evening to show you how it's gonna wear - or show

you how it's wearing on my skin.

Okay, that's it for now.

Okay, I'm back now & it is 6:37 & I've been wearing this foundation for about 8 hours

& as you can tell I am very oily, pretty much everywhere.

I'm oily & splotchy in the T-zone, splotchy around my eyebrows, oily all across my nose

& cheeks, splotchy in the corner of my nose here, oily & splotchy around my mouth.

I was expecting some oiliness but not this much.

And, splotchiness is new to me, I have never had a foundation be splotchy on me before.

So, that is something I don't really like.

What I'm going to do to try to combat some of this oiliness is take this Boscia blotting

linen & see what that can do for my face.

Because right now, I feel like my face is a little bit plastic-y looking & I definitely

don't like that look.

So let me go ahead & blot.

And, I already I can tell that just by blotting, it's lifting up some of the foundation as

I take it away - as it takes away the oil.

So, that's not very good.

And, I see a really big splotch on my forehead.

And, just look at this paper, it's just getting covered with foundation.

And, my hand feels really oily too.

So, that was a little bit better looking.

Again, I still see all the splotchiness there.

And, a little bit more lifting of product from my face.

What I'm going to try to do now to save it is take this L'Oreal True Match Super

Blendable powder, this is in w8 Creme Cafe.

I'm going to go ahead & just apply this to see if that can take away some of the residual

shine that's left behind from blotting.

And, see how that interacts with this powder *foundation*.

I didn't set the foundation earlier because it seemed to be quite matte.

So, let's just test & see how it looks with a little bit of powder to see if I can cover

up some of that splotchiness & see what happens.

Now as to the claims for this foundation, it says that it's 24 hours *wear*.

I don't see how that's true for anyone.

It kinda fell apart on me in 8 hours.

It also says that it has a natural finish; I'll give it that.

It says that it is high coverage; I will give it that.

I do have 3 moles on my chin & it completely covered them.

I can see them very faintly but they are dark black & they're usually very prominent even

when I wear my other foundations.

And then, the texture is air light so that's true because it is like, a light moussey texture.

So, when I put the powder on top, it does cover up some of the splotchiness but, I don't

know.

It covers up the splotchiness that I had on the forehead but then it just makes it look

splotchy & dry around my eyebrow.

And, on my lip I can still see remnants of the splotchiness from earlier.

And especially over here under my lips so I don't like that.

Now.

L'Oreal could've done a better job with this foundation especially in shade range

because this one is 311 Creme Cafe & then it jumps all the way over to 312 Creme - Cocoa.

And, the only way you can tell what the shade is, is by looking way down here at this tiny

sliver under this brown right here.

This brown here is not indicative of the color in the tube & I think that is a problem that

L'Oreal shoud've seen coming.

Because buying makeup is such a visual experience, why would you want to put color on a tube

that is not indicative of the color inside of it.

I think i's just like, a waste for people buying it & getting the wrong shade & a bad

move for them to do on their part.

Now, I'm still looking at this foundation to see what I think of it.

I did do - mix both of those colors together & I think the color that I came up with wore

pretty well on my face.

I just don't know if I can get over that oiliness & the splotchiness especially.

So, it's something that I'll have to think about & see what's next for me but, I don't

know.

Have you tried the L'Oreal Total Cover foundation?

What did you think of it?

Let me know in the comments.

Yeah, I just don't know, I feel like I had to do some recovery on it.

And, I feel like if I was working on this in the middle of the day that it would just

appear splotchy.

If it's going to be splotchy I don't really want to deal with it.

So, this one might be going back to the store for me.

I'll have to think on it.

And, that's it for now!

I hope you enjoyed this video, if you did please comment, like, share & SUBSCRIBE.

Anything you do is greatly appreciated!

And, when you subscribe please click that notification bell so you'll know each time

that I post a video.

And, also I wanted to say I'm thankful for all of my subscribers.

Just wanted to say, "Thank You" for subscribing to my channel & I really appreciate you.

And, that's it for now.

Until the next video, take care!

Okay, I just wanted to come back really quick to say that I do like the L'Oreal Infallible

Lip Paints.

This one is in 312 Nude Star.

I'm wearing it on my lips right now & I like that it gives a nice flush of pink.

It's a non-sticky, non-slippery lip color.

It doesn't claim to be long wearing so you will need to re-apply it after a few hours

& especially after eating & drinking.

It does have a doe foot applicator with a little notch in it so it really hugs your

lips when you apply it.

And it just feels really nice on the lips so I definitely like it & recommend it.

Okay, that's it for now.

Okay, so it's a few days later & I really wanted to see if I could try to make this

foundation work for me before I decided to take it back.

I applied it the exact same way as I did before & so far, right now, when I look at my skin,

I just feel a little bit dry.

I do see it clings to little dry patches on my skin that I didn't know that I had.

And again, it's still kinda splotchy around my eyebrow area.

And it seems to just kinda highlight any little bump or little cling of dry skin that I have

so I'm not really loving that.

But, I'm going to wear this all day.

It currently is 12:27 so I will be doing check-ins with you in the middle of the day & then I'll

come back in the evening & show you how it's worn after that.

Okay!

Okay, so the time is currently 2:46 so it's a little over 2 hours since the last time

that you saw me.

When I had lunch, a little bit of food dribbled down my chin & caused the makeup to pool in

this area.

And, my first reaction was to fix it rather than taking a picture.

So, I did blot & when I did, the makeup completely lifted off my chin & you can see that my moles

are a little more pronounced whereas before they were a little bit covered.

I am going to go ahead & blot with the Boscia blotting linens because I am starting to get

oily in the T-zone.

So, I'm just going to quickly blot these areas.

And, I just want to see if I continue to get oily or if the makeup is going to continue

to lift off of my skin.

And, I do see quite a bit of oil & makeup lifting.

And, this is the blotting linen.

So it's not as oily as last time because I did catch the oils a little bit earlier.

But, I still do see patchiness around my nose & around my eyebrow.

There's some lifting of the makeup around my nose on this side & where the food dribbled

on my chin it's patchy from the leftover makeup that didn't wear away.

So, I'm going to continue to wear this for a couple more house then I'm going to do

another check-in & then I'll give my final thoughts.

Okay, so it's 9:07 & I'm back for my final check-in for the L'Oreal Infallible Total

Cover Foundation.

I've been wearing this foundation for about 8.5 hours & I zoomed my camera in so you can

hopefully see up close, what's going on with my skin.

Now, obviously, I am oily but I'm also feeling dry & slightly itchy in my cheek area.

And, I'm hoping that doesn't mean that I'm about to get a break out because that

would be very bad for me.

And, I'm actually going to blot 1 final time while I give my final thoughts on the

product.

And, basically, I'm not a fan of the product.

Starting with the fact that I had to buy 2 to mix together to get a shade that was close

to my skin tone.

And, doing so wasn't exactly the easiest because of the soft, moussey consistency that

the product has.

I feel like they could've done it in the lab & saved me the trouble of having to buy

2 & I could've bought 1 like everyone else.

The product just kinda sits on my face & sinks into my pores & any little dots that I have

on my face.

And, like, it just magnifies everything & I'm not a fan of that.

This is just something that I'm going to have to take back to the store.

Because I can't get over how patchy that it looks.

Even with just blotting a little bit it just lifts the product straight off my face so

I'm definitely going to be taking this back to the store to get my money back.

I guess it's going to be better luck next time, in terms of finding a foundation from

L'Oreal.

Let me know if you've tried this product & what your thoughts are.

Just leave a comment below.

And, yeah, that's it for know.

Until the next video, take care.

What are the Best Poi for Performance? - Duration: 7:33.

Hey gang!

Drex here from Drexfactor.com and I wanted to talk with you a bit today about performance

and specifically the hardware that we use in performing with poi.

I see a lot of folks online asking "what are the best poi for x or y?" and I thought

I'd try and answer that for a few special cases.

I've spent a lot of time in the past few years thinking about how to get the best results

from poi onstage and I wanted to share some of what I've found with you guys.

I'm going to divvy this video up into three categories: unlit or daytime poi, LED, and

fire poi but no matter which of these categories you're working with, the best option for

you is going to depend greatly on what your performance area or stage is like.

Before we begin, I'd also like to point one thing out.

You choices for what you spin for a performance should be based around the same criteria as

every other choice you make for this performance: how do I give the audience the best experience

I possibly can?

We often think of performances as an opportunity to show off our skill and be the center of

attention, but personally I see it as a form of service.

You're there to entertain people, so make sure you're considering their enjoyment

of your work at least as much if not more than your own.

With all that said, let's get started by looking at unlit or daytime poi.

We probably have more options in this category than any other simply because there are more

ways to build a set of unlit poi than there are ways to build LED or fire poi.

You can have sock poi, flag poi, Zuni poi, contact poi, or even poi of your own construction.

I'll say up front that it's an under-appreciated option, but flag or Zuni poi fill up a lot

of space and are visible from quite far away.

They also severely restrict the vocabulary of tricks that you're able to perform and

can be a nightmare to use in the wind.

If your performance space isn't windy and your choreography consists mainly of pretty

basic tricks, these are not a bad option.

Sock poi are an interesting option for performance because they more or less turn the entire

surface of the poi itself into a visible part of the performance.

That said, they can also look amateurish if they're made out of actual socks and generally

aren't terribly visible from far away.

There are some exceptions, however: wider sock poi with stripes show up really well

to an audience and are a popular option in Europe.

Some examples of this kind of poi are the Fairywings poi used by Loooop and Lara Lyo

as well as the striped sock poi sold by Home of Poi.

In general, though, I'm not a fan of sock poi for performance purposes.

As for contact poi, bigger and brighter is better, especially if you're going to be

on a stage.

In general, the bigger the poi head the more visible it is.

Lots of people like use 100mm heads for this reason.

When it comes to your tethers, you'll always want to select a lighter color with white

being the ideal.

I know they're easy to get dirty, but black tethers have a tendency to disappear, especially

onstage!

My preferred stage contact poi are 90 mm orange heads with 8 mm white ropes.

This is thicker than I normally use, but it also shows up much better.

Just to give you an example of this, here is video of a performance that Mel did for

PoiCon this past year with a set of darker contact poi.

The lighting is good enough that you can still make out the heads but even in a well-lit

environment like this his tethers are practically invisible.

Now here's a performance I did with my contact poi a couple years ago.

See how much more the entire poi pop?

And I've got much less lighting on me than Mel did.

One other quick note on color selections, especially if you're going to have stage

lighting.

Colors work differently depending on whether you're dealing with colored light or colored

objects.

Colored light consists solely of light of a given color, while colored objects appear

colored because they're reflecting that color back at our eyes.

But--they do this by absorbing every other color of light.

Why is this important?

It means that you have to be careful about matching your lighting to the color of your

costuming and poi.

For example, let's say that my lighting is primarily red.

This means I'm not shining any blue light on the stage and it means that if I've selected

blue poi to spin with that they will not reflect any light back at the audience and they'll

appear to be more or less black.

Here's a great example of this in action--this is a photo that was taken a couple years ago

at a stage performance in Los Angeles.

My duet partner's dress seems to be covered with black flowers.

When we did this same performance with different lighting the following year, however, you

can see that those flowers were actually bright blue.

Just like with tethers, white poi heads reflect all colors, so you're guaranteed they'll

show up onstage.

You can also get around this problem by being smart in your color selection and choosing

colors for your poi that are not primary colors.

One of the reasons I chose orange heads is that they show up in pretty much any lighting

other than totally blue light and that's a really rare lighting choice for most performances

I've been in.

Now to LED poi!

I'm going to open this section by asking how far away your audience is going to be

because now it's going to start making a huge difference.

In general, LED poi can be found in both lower as well as higher brightness options.

In general, lower brightness is appropriate for smaller audiences that are closer to you

whereas brighter and larger poi are more appropriate for audiences that are farther away or larger.

Isn't brighter always better?

No, not necessarily.

I honestly get a headache from being near super bright LEDs for too long, If your audience

is within 20 feet of you, they can have the same problem.

Especially if you're in a small space like a club, super bright LEDs can be not just

overwhelming but kind of obnoxious.

You should also consider the effect your LEDs are going to have on what your audience can

see.

I'm going to do a whole video on this at some point because I think most performers

haven't spent much time thinking about it, but LEDs almost always create situations where

your body and your tethers are unlit and the bulk of what can be perceived in your performance

is simply the ends of the poi themselves.

Some LEDs are bright enough to illuminate your body, but in most cases you should assume

that most of your body is going to be invisible or at least very difficult to see.

With some very bright LED poi, the body of the performer is illuminated somewhat but

that doesn't mean that the tether is.

If your choreography consists of a lot of body tracers, inversions, or even negative

space, go super bright because otherwise these tricks won't look like anything to the audience.

There are some exceptions: the light-up sock poi made by Ultrapoi, Spinoptics by LanternSmith,

and of course the many varieties of LED strip poi display greater portions of the poi for

your audience.

I think it's safe to say at this point that the LED strip poi are kind of considered the

gold standard for performance nowadays in high-profile or corporate gigs.

They're almost always a huge investment, but it's tough to beat wowing your audience

both with your moves as well as the pictures they produce.

One quick word on these: like the flag poi, most LED strip poi severely limit the vocabulary

of moves that you can perform with them both because most of their length is not flexible

as well as their weight distribution being significantly different than most practice

poi.

That said, the graphics that they generate frequently tip the scales back the other way

for the audience.

Use at your own discretion.

Finally, let's talk about fire poi.

Let's just say up-front that spinning fire for an audience is nearly always impressive

in and of itself, but there are a lot of ways that it can be made even more exciting.

For most sets of fire poi, unless your audience is pretty close you're going to want to

make sure that your heads are at least 3 inches or longer along one of their dimensions.

There's a lot of variety in fire poi head form factor, but I'm going to risk oversimplifying

things with this rule.

A couple years ago, I did some testing with Dark Monk on different styles of fire poi

heads and we got some pretty detailed data on the size of the flame each style creates

as well as how much fuel they absorb and how long they stay lit.

I'll link to it in the description so you can get more detail on these things if you

want.

Just like with unlit and LED poi, you can also create a more exciting show for your

audience with snake style poi.

Like the LED strip poi, however, these come at the cost of severely restricting your vocabulary

of moves.

It's up to you whether it's worth it or not.

Of course, just as LED strip poi are considered the go-to for corporate gigs now, the go-to

for massive fire performance nowadays are cage poi.

You can fill these with either steel wool or wood chips to create massive trails of

sparks that create an overwhelming experience for your audience.

Clearly, these are also the most dangerous type of poi we've talked about so far because

there is a fairly good chance that they can ignite other flammable objects or liquids

in the area so make sure that your safety game is at the top of the heap.

I think it's also safe to say that these restrict the type of tricks you can use more

than any other set of poi we've looked at thus far.

They also don't last very long at all--so the applications for these are very, very

limited.

So, I hope that helps you guys out some!

I tried really hard to include as many options for as many types of performance as I possibly

could here.

What are your favorite poi to perform with?

Let me know down in the comments!

Thanks so much for watching and enjoy the flow.

Peace.

Just give me a reason To keep my heart beating

Don't worry it's safe right here in my arms

As the world falls apart around us All we can do is hold on, hold on

Take my hand

And bring me back, yeah

I risk everything if it's for you I whisper into the night

Telling me it's not my time and don't give up I've never stood up before this time

Down is not the way we go I feel a chance so I know that I can't give in

So stand up, stand up (Just gotta keep on running) Wake up, wake up (Just tell me how I can)

Never give up These moments of beauty drive me insane

Just tell me why baby They might call me crazy

For saying I'll fight until there is no more Forget how we felt about each other

It's time to get over Blinded I can't see the end

So where do I begin?

Say another word, I can't hear you The silence between us

Is starting to be louder than the word we scream I take this chance that I make you mine

Taking in the fears I know, and knowing what I can barely say

So stand up, stand up (Just gotta keep on running) Wake up, wake up (Just tell me how I can)

Never give up These moments of beauty makes me somber

Just give me a reason To keep my heart beating

Don't worry it's safe right here in my arms Crying it's time to save the weaker

Reaching for something So blinded I can't see the end

Look how far we've made it The pain I can't escape it

Remember a time when I was on the outs and had nowhere to go I know now that, no matter how I start I have to play my part

All the way through So where do I begin?

This hand I've held tightly To keep it close to me

I can't let it slip through these fingers I'll hold on It's away with those old days back when I had nothing or no one to lose

I do now

Just tell me why baby They might call me crazy (crazy)

For saying I'll fight until there is no more (no more) Forget how we felt about each other

It's time to get over Blinded I can't see the end
