I think a bit about the foreign born nationals getting graduate degrees

in the sciences and engineering here,

that's being going on basically since the 1980s,

there may have been a trickle of it in the 70s, but it happened in large measure in the 80s and 90s,

it is still going on

in the early days we were simply the best opportunity,

we had the best science and the best engineering, and their home countries did not,

so it was expected that when they came here they would stay

and nearly all of them did,

I don't have a problem with that,

so much of our national character and identity was enriched

because of how open our shore were

to the creativity of immigrants that come through for the past century and a half,

so that became a boom to our nation intellectually

because we were getting the smartest people in the world,

but what happens back in their home countries? they begin to develop,

the countries recognize what we have recognized for so long,

that investments in their infrastructure and their own science and technology

creates opportunity,

my great fear is that we would now educate them and then they would go back

to their home countries,

and we would lose the contributions they would've made had they stayed.

That's in fact already happening.

The third stage in this is, they become the professors, the educating class

in their home countries, and then they never have to come here at all.

By the way, that was the state back before the Manhattan Project,

most of the principal scientists of the Manhattan Project that were here in this country

were foreign nationals,

all educated in European countries,

we did not have quite the physics infrastructure to sustain that kind of intellectual capital,

to actually engage the Manhattan Project,

so we not only tapped foreign nationals, they were all foreign educated.

Once we developed that infrastructure here, and that intellectual foundation,

we became the target for people to become educated from all around the world.

I would say that when a nation,

not to sound like a broken record here,

but when a nation dreams big,

and has fully funded projects, visible to everyone,

where a frontier is getting advanced daily,

innovations attract smart clever people,

the prospect of innovation attracts them

How Old is Freemasonry?

The history of modern freemasonry is fairly understood, going back to roughly the 1700's.

Beyond that point in time, information starts to become less available.

There are some documents and notable figures prior to that point in time, such as the Regius/Halliwell

poem, and notables like Elias Ashmole, but no certifiable records exist to demonstrate

or- ganized activity as we have today.

One of the virtues of Freemasonry is that its study and prac- tice allow members to

explore this topic, and at times travel outside the bounds of connections typically explored

in main- stream history.

Some Masonic historians have attempted to draw connections to the Knights Templar, the

Rosicrucian's, Jewish Kabbalah traditions, Alchemy, Christian Mysticism, and to much

further back to the precursor Essenes at the time of Jesus.

These explorations have been considered in both the past and present Masonic scholarship

to varying degrees of acceptance, but many points of contention remain.

In present day, Freemasonry has little changed in the preced- ing 200 years since the founding

of the United Grand lodge of England, and is modeled in a system that was likely little

changed for the 150 years prior to that.

It is believed that the working aspects of Freemasonry, the form and function of the

lodge, comes from the stone working guilds of the European Renaissance and middle ages

which, over time as that trade profession became less specialized, attracted new members

of non practicing "speculative masons".

From that shift, the present day fraternity moved from an "operative" guild to a "speculative"

one in that the function of the lodge turned to the allegorical and symbolic meanings of

the stone masons and less about the physical operation.

These changes have evolved to shape the look and feel of modern lodge operation today.

This riff is one of the most distinctive ones of the album.

It has a groovy feel but still keeping the overall Metal atmosphere.

This fisrt part is from the track called Demoniocracia.

It brings an interesting blend of aggressiveness and melody, which makes it one of the most technical compositions of the album.

This is one of my favourite tracks, regarding both the guitar parts and the message in the lyrics.

It represents the actual state of things in Brazil.

This song has a peculiarity on Breakdown part

a reference to a traditional native child music genre (Cantiga de Roda).

This part is from a track called O Chamado

in which i use Ghost Notes and Tapping techniques

How to get rid of dandruff - How to Get Rid of Dandruff Very Thick Hair - Home remedies for dandruff - Duration: 2:51.

Dandruff can be caused by sensitive, dry scalp or skin diseases such as eczema, psoriasis

or seborrheic dermatitis.

Additionally, styling agents, shampoos and hair dyes can cause your scalp to become red,

dry and itchy.

This causes your scalp to shed flaky dandruff.

If your hair is very thick, you might find it difficult to eliminate dandruff because

your scalp is difficult to access.

However, there are methods you can use to get rid of dandruff in thick hair.

Step 1:

Comb long and thick hair patiently, section by section, while shaking your hair vigorously

to remove dandruff.

Use a wide-tooth comb instead of a hairbrush.

Step 2:

Use a good anti-dandruff shampoo daily.

There are numerous over-the-counter anti-dandruff shampoos you can choose.

Look for a shampoo that includes zinc pyrithione or selenium sulfide.

These ingredients lessen dandruff production by reducing the growth of skin cells on your

scalp.

You should see an improvement in your dandruff in three or four weeks.

Use enough shampoo to get a good lather -- thick hair usually requires more shampoo than is

indicated on the product label.

Step 3:

Apply a conditioner after shampooing to help stop dandruff from occurring.

A conditioner moisturizes your hair and scalp, preventing them from becoming dry.

Look for hair conditioners with sunscreen, minerals and vitamin E. Avoid conditioners

that contain petroleum derivatives or sodium laureth sulfate, as these compounds can dry

and irritate your scalp.

Step 4:

Apply 2 tablespoons of vitamin E oil or aloe vera gel and massage into your dry scalp and

hair.

Leave the vitamin E oil or aloe vera gel on your scalp overnight and rinse and shampoo

in the morning.

Applying vitamin E oil or aloe vera gel can soften and loosen dandruff so it washes out.

They can also keep your scalp moisturized to prevent future dandruff outbreaks.

How much does it cost to create an App like Periscope?

Probably, many of us have thought about Mark Zuckerberg's investment into Facebook development.

We've conducted our own investigation in order to find out the development cost of another

popular social network.

It's called Periscope.

Periscope is a video streaming app.

The main idea of this application is observing events which are happening around the world

with the help of another user.

Let's try to calculate the amount of money needed for similar app development.

For further estimation, we should deepen into the functionality of this app.

So, how does Periscope work?

Actually, we can divide Periscope's functionality into few parts.

The main feature of Periscope is live video streaming.

In other words, you can see someone's live broadcast which is being recorded with the

help of smartphone's camera.

I am here to show you some songs from our album, Viva Forte Até Seu Leito de Morte.

This riff is one of the most distinctive ones of the album.

It has a groovy feel but still keeping the overall Metal atmosphere.

This fisrt part is from the track called Demoniocracia.

It brings an interesting blend of aggressiveness and melody, which makes it one of the most technical compositions of the album.

This is one of my favourite tracks, regarding both the guitar parts and the message in the lyrics.

It represents the actual state of things in Brazil.

This song has a peculiarity on Breakdown part

a reference to a traditional native child music genre (Cantiga de Roda).

This part is from a track called O Chamado

in which i use Ghost Notes and Tapping techniques

In the Breakdown part i used only down pickings to let it heavier and more aggressive.

Mayors O'Leary and Ortis Discuss the Importance of Partner America Program - Duration: 1:32.

The Partner America Program, sponsored through the United States Conference of Mayors, for

our City, was absolutely phenomenal.

It brought businesses together, with the leadership of the City, and the community.

In fact, I put together a small business meeting in our senior center, it's call the Southwest

Focal Center, and talked to Lou and you about coming down, and meeting with the small businesses.

We had to get more chairs!

The meeting was so well attended, we had to get more chairs.

And to this day it's working in a direction, particularly in the area of education, and

listening to our business community, and what they need from our students as they leave

high school, and enter college.

It's been a wonderful experience, and I thank the US Conference of Mayors for that opportunity.

It was well taken in by our small businesses, again, the Chamber of Commerce participated.

We liked it, our small businesses liked it, we see a lot of good things happening from

it.

Small business is everything in our community.

We're a city of 110 thousand people, but the business community, and our partnership with

the the business community really benefits the students in the city most, as it directs

them towards their goals, for their future successes.

Would you recommend other Mayors to do the Partner America Program?

Without a doubt.
