This video was released alongside my review and tweaking test for the Intel Compute Stick,

so be sure to check that for more information on the hardware I was using.

Half Life 2 was a gaming milestone for many reasons and it technical advanced led to an

entire generation worth of classic games.

And given its age and extreme level of optimization you will be hard pressed to find a computer

that has a hard time running this game.

I picked up Intel Atom based Intel Compute Stick in hopes of using some weak enough to

give the game a hard time and yet with the lowest settings the game managed to pull between

40 and 60 FPS on some of the most intense sequences, and that is on 720p.

But giving the type of thing that I do on this channel I could not help but wonder…

what's the lowest Half Life 2 can possibly go?

And just how much performance would that get us on this tiny computer?

Well, get yourself a drink and some pop corn, because this might be the most in depth video

I have ever made.

Half Life 2, as the mother of source engine games, has a command line that can be assigned

to a button an open in-game and through it we can modify or remove a lot of things in

real time.

To make those changed permanent these commands can be written in a configuration file.

To do this go to the installation directory of the game, hl2 and cfg and in here create

a file called autoexec.cfg

The cfg I will be using is in the description, but I am going to tell you about some of the

most interesting commands

Let's begin:

In order for some of these commands to work to their highest level, or just to work at

all, cheats must be enabled, which is done with sv_cheats 1.

The r_lod command controls the distance on which elements are models are loaded on the

lowest level to preserve performance.

Switching it to 8 simply causes all lowest models to load at all time.

These group of decal command disable all types of decals.

So, effects like bullet holes and so on completely disappear.

mat_dxlevel 70 controls the directx version the game will use.

The 70 forces the game to run on directx 7 mode which will likely provide the best performance

possible on older computers.

mat_picmip controls texture detail, the lower the better and 4 is the lowest possible.

r_WaterDrawReflection 0, r_WaterDrawRefraction 0 disable reflections and refractions on water.

r_shadows disables all shadows in the game, glorious!

mat_filtertextures 0 disables filtering the texture to make them look uniform, so the

textures will look a bit more blocky.

mat_filterlightmaps 0 does the same for light, so light effects over surfaces will look pretty

blocky as well.

mat_showlowresimage 1 forces the game use the lowest resolution textures for everything

This is when you truly in the most desperate of positions.

You can use r_eyes 0 to disable eyes on the character, completely.

And while you are at it r_teeth 0 disables character teeth. I told you we where going in deep.

cl_ejectbrass 0 makes the brass that is ejected every time you fire a gun, disapear.

muzzleflash_light 0 disables the light the gun emits when firing.

props_break_max_pieces 0 and props_break_max_pieces_perframe 0 cause breakable objects to not leave any

remains and simply disappear.

r_3dsky 0, r_drawskybox 0 disable the sky, yes, the sky.

There will be no skybox and elements will simply ghost all over the screen.

r_dynamic 0, r_dynamiclighting 0, r_maxdlights 0 disable dynamic lighting.

Since this might make the game too dark to be playable you can then use mat_fullbright

1 to make sure everything is light up to the maximum level.

You can the use cl_detaildist 0 to disable things like grass and cl_show_splashes 0 to

disable water splashes.

And those are just the most important commands!

You will also find in the description a file with a short description of what other commands

in the configuration file do.

If the game does not load the commands by default you can simply use exec autoexec to

load them all.

By using ALL of these commands at the same time in the same intense sequences caused

the game to reach over over 140 FPS, even if the game becomes a bit of an amusing glitchfest

where you can not grasp the true form of the sky and the water is invisible.

And yes, while this makes the game unrecognizable, in fact it looks more like an indie experimental

shooter than half life, with different combinations of these commands you can likely get the game

to perform well on some really, really week computers

So, give it a try and use some of these commands if you are feeling desperate of playing this

game on anything

The Pentagon mulls troops on the ground in Syria - Duration: 1:39.

U.S. troops could be used on the ground in Syria to speed up the fight against ISIS, Pentagon officials said Wednesday.

"It's possible that you may see conventional forces hit the ground in Syria for some period of time," a defense official told CNN.

The proposal is one of many ideas that the Pentagon is considering after President Trump gave defense officials until the end of the month to present strategies to defeat the jihadists.

CNN said that sending in conventional ground forces is being floated as an idea, but officials stopped short of calling it a formal proposal.

American troops have conducted small ground incursions in the country, aiding Kurdish forces in targeting ISIS near its de facto capital of Raqqa, in recent years.

A Not so Peaceful Stroll in the Forest - Duration: 5:37.

So, I decided I wanted to go for a walk in the forest, a peaceful walk in the forest,

and film it for today's video.

But then, as I was on the trail and I was about to enter the sort of wooded area, I

ran into this person.

This person was walking towards me on this very narrow footpath, and I was walking towards

them.

They were talking to themselves, um they were having this whole conversation with themselves,

quite rapidly, and I was like, "Oh, okay," but I didn't really think too much of it,

I was like, I'm just going to, you know, get out of their way, cause they're like walking

directly towards me.

So, I started to walk around them and go like off the path a little bit, just so that we

could both get by, but then they stopped.

[laughs].

Then they stopped and they seemed to get really upset, and they said, "No, miss.

No, miss.

The - the footpath, it's right here, it's right here, you have to stay on the footpath,

miss, it's right here".

I didn't really know what they were talking about, like I didn't really know what they

wanted from me, but they were just saying like, "You can't, don't - don't you go around

me, don't you go around me, you better get back on this foot path".

[laughs].

And I just stood there, sort of stunned for a second, and they seemed really agitated

and upset, then they like backed up off the footpath.

I got back on the footpath and I like walked through and I walked by them and they started

mumbling about how, "Oh, I shouldn't even be here.

I shouldn't - like themselves, like they were referring to themselves - like, I shouldn't

even be here.

I shouldn't even be on this path - this isn't, this isn't the right path.

I shouldn't be here".

And so that interaction happened.

And I get, you know, past that, and I'm just walking and I'm like "Okay, time to like start

filming um this really beautiful, uh peaceful walk" [laughs].

But meanwhile, I'm a little bit shook up by like that very strange, kind of aggressive

interaction that just took place.

So, then the rest of the walk was nice, um, as - as you can see.

As I started to head back, um because it was a big loop, the walk, there is this person

right behind me, and it was strange because it's like a very big sort of empty area, but

this person was walking very quickly right behind me and I could hear their footsteps,

I could hear them uh approaching me.

And it always makes me really anxious when I can hear somebody footsteps right behind

me because it makes me feel like I have to go faster.

I decided to turn off that part of the trail, to enter another part of the trail off to

the side, and then this person for me [laughs].

This person followed me and they were following me really close, and so then my heart rate

started to increase and I was like, "Are they?

Are they actually following me now?

Oh my gosh, like there's not too many people around, oh no.

So, like I started like walking like really, really quickly um in order to get out of there.

On either end of what I had intended to be this really peaceful hike had been um these

very uncomfortable interactions with strangers.

My mother is a Buddhist and recently she told me that this is the Season of the Dons, which

means that this is a time when you're going to have your plans and you're going to have

your ideas about the way things should be, and um these Dons, essentially, are going

to come in interrupt those things and trouble your plans and - and sort of make you uncomfortable

and put you in sort of weird, awkward situations.

And she told me about this a few days ago, but I, you know, I listened but I didn't really

take it too seriously until I went out on this hike and I realized like that seems exactly

like what she was talking about, exactly like the Dons, about things just kind of getting

in your way, and getting uncomfortable.

Sure, I can go out and I can decide to film a beautiful, snowy day in the woods, but that

doesn't necessarily mean that that is going to be a peaceful and serene experience, like

how expect to be.

What's interesting is like what I filmed was the peaceful and serene experience.

What I have constructed, visually, is this beautiful, snowy, wooded area, and so if I

didn't add this voice over, if I can tell you what had happened on either end of that,

you would have no idea, you would just think like, "Oh, Sage, went out and had this walk

in the woods and it was beautiful and relaxing," but the reality is a bit more complicated

than that, the reality was a bit more mixed.

I guess the take away from all of this is that one, this is the season of the Dons,

it's the season of disruption and discomfort.

And two, don't necessarily always believe things that have been constructed for your

consumption because it's so easy to make something look like something it wasn't, it's so easy

to present this idea of a beautiful walk in the woods - or the perfect life, or something

like that.

Yeah, just if something is constructed, recognize that's been constructed, and that it might

not be giving you the full story.

Welcome to Free Battle Friday I'm your host DeoGenZ today a triple battle for you, got

this question in my inbox a couple times is, What do I base my teams off of?

How do I choose basically the Pokemon I decide to put on my teams?

How do I know that there is team Synergy?

especially when it comes to Triple battles well friends who have commented and messaged

me I'll tell you that I kind of like to base a team on a theme I have like a safari zone

team from Kanto this is my clearly Johto team all the Pokemon you can find in Johto and

I know what you're saying you can't really find Chansey there but it's it's just the

shinkansen bullet-train away in the Kanto region so yeah you can but yeah every other

Pokemon and it's all my teams specifically for this match is from Johto region and I

like to consider strikers and walls and those who go in between so I think you could consider

my umbreon as the sort of in-between wall type Pokemon in that it can toxify my opponents

where I see Chansey as clearly a straight wall and then you go on to the other side

of the spectrum where you're getting more of an attacking but still bulky Pokemon which

would be considered to be Slowking equipped with an assault vest and what that does is

boost special defense but limited to only using it's attacking move so only moves that

cause damage, offensive moves, those are the only ones that slowking can use but check

this out Slowking has a really cool ability called regenerator in past episodes I mention

that there is still some good switch play that you can do back and forth between your

Pokemon here to get good benefits and now that my Chansey is burned I guess this would

be a primo time to show you all how it works because the reason that Chansey and Slowking

go so great together is they've got conducive abilities with Chansey, it has a natural cure

so that status effect that's on it now all I have to do is switch and it's cured and

look at that Slowking comes back on the field with a bit more health than I had before so

that's a cool way to get around the limitations that assault vest puts on you while still

enjoying that special bulk that it gives so for Steelix here this is definitely a point

that people could criticize but as you've seen in past matches that's really come in

handy for me so I enjoy using it and it's mega-form is just so damn cool!!!

I know if you want to consider competitive meta-gameplay that Aggron mega-form pretty

much out classes Steelix in every way and I'm aware of that, but again this is a Johto

theme team and that's why it's really fun when you're making your own teams to just

come up with some random thing you know, come up with the random theme and then come up

with the power cord that will make it up just consider you'll need a couple of walls you'll

need a couple of hard hitters and you might need a cleric or two which is like Umbreon

or if you know even my Chansey has some clerical abilities although it is majorly a wall against

my opponents the reason I can do that so well you know is the set of cleric status effects

because it has such high health & ability to heal itself, can also remove status abilities

by simply switching that's why it's a spectacular Pokemon and it's a strong wall for me but

even if you're doing something like a monotype team you'll find that there are different

morphologies of Pokemon you know the biology of Pokemon if you look at a Pokemon and it

looks big and bulky like a Chansey is so fat or Steelix is just so sturdy looking well

chances are probably has some naturally high defense or special defense so if you really

don't know much about metagame we're just getting into these videos to see what some

possible team combinations could be for you and your own game well that's a good thing

to consider you know definitely go with your favorites Typhlosion although again you know

it's competitively speaking not great I think it's in the "never used" category again

it's metagame talk so there are different tiers and that have arisen based on the Pokemon

community so never fear if you have a team member that is not the strongest in metagame

you could still pull out a victory if you're determined enough and have some supporting

Recently I received this question: My friend and I both have the same vocal type, Pulled

Chest-High Larynx.

But his voice is deep and loud and mine is light.

How can I make my voice deep and loud?

In other words he's asking, How Do I Change the Tone Quality of My Singing Voice?

Inside this video I'll explain why this might or might not be possible.

Hi, I'm Chuck Gilmore with Power To Sing.

When I was younger I wished my voice was like my best friend's.

He could sing high without any problems and I seemed locked into my chest voice.

He could be soft or powerful with his wonderful tenor voice.

I felt like my bass voice was boring and limited.

The Same Vocal Types Don't Sound the Same

First, having the same vocal type like pulled chest-high larynx doesn't mean you'll

have the same vocal classification like soprano, alto, tenor or bass.

In fact each of these classifications are often different vocal types.

For example one singer with a soprano voice may be a pulled chest- high larynx vocal type,

another soprano a light chest-no chest, another a flip-falsetto and yet another may be a mix

vocal type.

REMEMBER: A your vocal type describes what you tend to do when you sing higher through

the first bridge.

If your larynx goes high, then your vocal type is pulled chest-high larynx.

If you sing in falsetto, then your vocal type is flip-falsetto and so forth.

Your natural tone quality in your voice will begin to develop and emerge as you do the

exercises for your vocal type.

In this way the tone quality in your voice will find it's natural, God-given tone.

As your larynx begins staying where it does when you speak, as your vocal cords stay connected

with the best balance of airflow, great things happen to your voice.

Your vocal power grows (many refer to this as loudness or strength).

The tone quality is fuller with more overtones which enhances the richness of your voice.

It's likely that your voice will sound more and more like your natural God-given voice.

Both your lower and upper ranges will increase.

Your voice may sound as if it has deepened.

That's how you change the tone quality of your singing voice.

It's the result of exercises that cause a balanced voice, with a tone that's connected

and even from the bottom to the top of your range.

How You CANNOT Change the Tone Quality of Your Singing Voice!

Each of us are born with unique vocal cords.

We each have a unique throat, mouth, nose, head, chest cavity, tongue, and set of teeth,

ears and lungs.

These things give our voices a unique sound and capacity.

To some extent I'm gifted as well as limited by what I inherited genetically.

If you were perfect vocally, with a perfectly balanced voice and you sang as well as physically

and emotionally possible, you'd still face eventual limitations in your range, tone,

breathing, vocal stamina and so forth.

Like running, we may have the very best training possible and be at peak performance, but not

all run equally fast, jump equally high, or run equally far.

Some legs are long, others short.

We're all built differently.

No matter how much training you have, you cannot make your legs longer or shorter.

You can't change the size of your vocal cords or the boney structure of your head

where sound resonates.

True Stories of an Introvert - 3 Reasons I Don't Smile at the BANK - Duration: 4:48.

The people in the bank are so nice why wouldn't you want to smile.

To be an introvert you sure have a lot to say.

First off as an Introvert I try to avoid physically entering the bank at all costs by doing all

of my banking online.

So if you see me in the bank it's serious.

And at first glance I may look like I'm about to strike down upon thee WITH GREAT VENGEANCE

AND FURIOUS ANGER But that couldn't be farther from the truth.

I am simply focused on my agenda.

And the BANK is filled with smoke and mirrors to distract you and me from our agenda, so

that we focus on their agenda.

Each individual in the Bank is a salesperson, and customers who are friendly, gregarious,

weak, and indecisive are considered sheep for the slaughter.

It's like a used car lot, but the lemons have been replaced with HIDDEN FEES which are attached

to everything.

And the drama starts as soon as you walk in.

I got a ton of these, but here are 3 reasons why I don't smile at the bank.

At sometime during 2006 banks decided to unleased an army of aggressively friendly disingenuous

staffers to welcome customers as soon as they walked in the bank.

What exactly is aggressively friendly?

Greeters are just there to communicate the banks services and make sure customers feel

welcomed.

Facts The concept of Greeters at banks was birthed

by FBI Special Agent Larry Carr back in 2006 and quickly adopted by numerous banks.

Agent Carr introduced Greeters as part of a detailed robbery deterrent program, which

has been adopted by Bank of America and several other large Banks.

The Greeters PRIMARY purpose is to spot suspicious behavior by engaging all customers.

Meanwhile, introverts like you and me are interrogated with customer Service on steroids

as greeters churn through thousands of law abiding citizens in hopes of deterring some

body from setin it off or trying to stop the next inside man

Two Armed Security Guards.

Maybe your local branches employ that top flight security.

But at the banks in Atlanta the security guards are strapped.

The armed guard will deter crime.

FACTS.

Armed guards in fact do not deter bank robberies and Statistics that show that armed guards

actually increase the risk of violence during a bank robbery.

80% of Robberies are what they call Note jobs, Where the robber just slips a note to the

teller.

Waits for the cash, and then quickly walks out.

The other 20% are Take Overs, in which two or more robbers burst into the bank, often

wearing masks, showing weapons and ordering customers to get on the floor.

Note Jobs, yes, but take overs those don't happen, that's Hollywood.

And I have never heard of a take over in a large city like Atlanta.

Quick and dangerous is how Winston Douglas describes the three men that robbed this Wells

Fargo.

He told me no, you know what it is.

So I just threw my hands up walked on in and looked at the ground.

We just received these photos of the robbers from the FBI.

What was going through your mind?

I didn't want to get shot, he had a gun on me, so I didn't want to get shot.

Three PERSONAL BANKERS If you are in the bank sitting down and the

person across from you is behind a desk, you are with a personal banker.

But don't let the title fool you.

This is not your personal banker, this is a salesperson.

They earn commission and keep their job based on making add ons to your profile.

I am an introvert, and consider myself to be quite friendly.

So just to be clear, I'm not mean mugging at the bank walking up to the teller like.

However, it does take a level of conviction to repeatedly redirect a pushy sales person

trying to enroll me in everything under the sun.

And if we decline, some will sign us up anyway.

The feds say employees at Wells Fargo took money out of customers accounts without their

permission they opened new bank and credit card accounts without the customers knowing

then charged those same customers fees for the accounts the customers didn't even know

they had the feds say two million accounts are involved.

That's right Wells Fargo employees created fake email addresses to enroll customers in

hidden accounts creating pin numbers the customers didn't even know existed and hidden fees are

bad enough without being hidden inside hidden accounts with hidden pin numbers made with

hidden email addresses because that's like a Russian nesting doll where the last doll

is giving you the middle finger.

Playing games on an Intel Atom Stick PC - Duration: 6:36.

I got a new computer to play games on, and it is right here, in my hands

This is the intel computer stick v1.

This is a low end computer in something that looks like a tumbdrive running an intel atom

CPU.

Right, let me rewind you a bit and give you.

The intel atom was a line of CPUs that intel design with the idea of creating a cheap,

low power consumption CPU for small and cheap computers for simple tasks, otherwise known

as netbook.

I remember owning one of these in college.

But the idea of cheap computers for simple task was completely killed by the ARM based

smartphone revolution, which basically did the same tasks and more and was more portable

and power efficient.

Some time later intel, who had lost a lost of footing in the computing world to smarthphones,

revives the intel atom brand, this time for tony System on a Chips the combined the POWER

and flexibility of the x86 computer architecture with the portability and some of the power

efficiency of mobile and soon there was Android (and windows) tablets running intel atoms,

laptops and even something like the GPD Win, which is quickly becoming one my favorite

gadgets ever.

Yeah, the intel atom is the reason you can do a full windows PC this size.

Right, why am I talking to this?

The intel compute stick came out in a time where intel was trying to showcase just how

small they could make a computer using this technology, and maybe glimpe into a glorious

future where we can all carry our full windows work computers in a back pocket.

But this is the first version of that proposal and there are kinks…

It has an HDMI output, a micro usb for charging, and normal USB for peripherals and a wifi/bluetooth

chip for connectivity.

It is powered by a Z3735F which is older than atom on the GPD win and significantly weaker

in the graphical department, specially when you consider just how quickly is the atom

line progressing in power.

Ok, two bad things.

First, the CPU is 64 bit, but the UEFI bios (the thing that runs the "motherboard")

is 32 bit, meaning it can only use 32 bit windows and run 32 bit games even tough the

CPU is perfectly capable to do so.

Second, the wifi/bluetooth chip is weird and if you try using wifi and an bluetooth keyboard

at the same time both functions suffer and input lag very noticeable.

But this is the LowSpecGamer youtube channel, so the real question is what kinda of performance

does this computer get on games?

(With some help from tweaking of course)

Since this is now the lowest powered computer I have used so far in this channel I decided

to start with the PC Gaming Classic Half Life 2.

The game managed to pull between 40 and 60 fps with the lowest settings on some of the

biggest areas of the game and I wondered what was the fastest I could get the game to perform.

For this I have created a separate video that should go out with these one, a more in depth

look at console commands that can reduce the graphics of this game to their absolutely

lowest, and using that configuration the game climbed all the way to 140 FPS on the same

sequence, even tough the combination of commands I used turned the game into a bit of a graphical

glitchfest, check the separate video for the details of what each command does.

Next, I wanted to try a newer Source Engine game, this time Portal 2.

This test fared worse than I expected, with all the settings to the lowest and a resolution

of 720 the game was initially managing around 18 FPS in some biggest areas, which is a bit

too low even for me.

Some of the commands I used in Half Life 2 remain usable on this game, and I have in that past

talked quite a bit of the extreme graphical reduction possible on this game.

Applying this commands and saying goodbye to all semblance of good looking graphics

climbs the game to a more stable 30 FPS.

This is of course a bit on an extreme case, and just reducing the resolution and removing

shadows and dynamic lightning already helped a lot in trying to play this game on this

computer.

Ok, next I decided to try with Dirt 3, a 2011 racing game that uses Codemaster's Ego 2.0

engine.

It comes with a very nifty Benchmark functionality that allows me to easily test the game.

With the lowest settings and 800x600 I saw the game pulling an average of 26 FPS and

a minimum of 18.5

Thankfully this game is very flexible and you can change a lot of things in the configuration

files to pretty much put object draw distance to almost 0 and remove tress, shadows and

other details.

The full guide for that is on the card in the corner.

With those changes the game climbed to an average of 33 and minimum of 25 which some

argue is quite playable.

Right, let's try a popular "low end friendly" game here.

Minecraft.

The indie, if we can still call it indie, super hit is notorious for being built in

Java, which can sometimes lead to some counter-intuitive performance.

There is a separate version of this game called "Minecraft Windows 10 edition" which is

based on the Pocket edition but has significantly different performance but I will be using

the original Java based modable full release.

With all the settings to the lowest the game initially pulled around 30 fps, but the game

had some significant trouble keeping up with loading chunks of the world.

What you are seeing is not youtube buffering that is actually how the game was doing.

For this I tried optifine, a mod/tool that gives you better performance and opens up

a ton of new graphical options to tweak and lower.

After disabling everything I could and leaving smooth world loading on, the game climbed

to 40 with no stuttering issues when the game loads, even if the view distance is very near.

The game felt much better.

Finally I wanted to try something unexpected and wondered if I could get at least 20 FPS

in Chivlary, an Unreal Engine 3 game.

Now, this game allows for some really dramatic reductions in graphical quality using some

Unreal Engine tweaks, which I have talked about in the past on its dedicated video.

I decided to combine that with the internal resolution scaler from my recent Rocket League

video and a resolution of 800x600

As you can see the result is around 25 FPS on a quick test which is more than I expected

from this game on this device.

All in all this is a very interesting piece of technology, even with its problems this

is the kind of ultra portable computing I would like to see more in the future.

Furthermore, this now being the lowest end computer I own, this opens up a series of

possibilities for future videos on games that already ran too well in my test hardware.

Also at some point intel made an updated version of this hardware which promised an important

boost in performance.

Super low Half-Life 2 on an Intel Atom - Duration: 4:32.

This video was released alongside my review and tweaking test for the Intel Compute Stick,

so be sure to check that for more information on the hardware I was using.

Half Life 2 was a gaming milestone for many reasons and it technical advanced led to an

entire generation worth of classic games.

And given its age and extreme level of optimization you will be hard pressed to find a computer

that has a hard time running this game.

I picked up Intel Atom based Intel Compute Stick in hopes of using some weak enough to

give the game a hard time and yet with the lowest settings the game managed to pull between

40 and 60 FPS on some of the most intense sequences, and that is on 720p.

But giving the type of thing that I do on this channel I could not help but wonder…

what's the lowest Half Life 2 can possibly go?

And just how much performance would that get us on this tiny computer?

Well, get yourself a drink and some pop corn, because this might be the most in depth video

I have ever made.

Half Life 2, as the mother of source engine games, has a command line that can be assigned

to a button an open in-game and through it we can modify or remove a lot of things in

real time.

To make those changed permanent these commands can be written in a configuration file.

To do this go to the installation directory of the game, hl2 and cfg and in here create

a file called autoexec.cfg

The cfg I will be using is in the description, but I am going to tell you about some of the

most interesting commands

Let's begin:

In order for some of these commands to work to their highest level, or just to work at

all, cheats must be enabled, which is done with sv_cheats 1.

The r_lod command controls the distance on which elements are models are loaded on the

lowest level to preserve performance.

Switching it to 8 simply causes all lowest models to load at all time.

These group of decal command disable all types of decals.

So, effects like bullet holes and so on completely disappear.

mat_dxlevel 70 controls the directx version the game will use.

The 70 forces the game to run on directx 7 mode which will likely provide the best performance

possible on older computers.

mat_picmip controls texture detail, the lower the better and 4 is the lowest possible.

r_WaterDrawReflection 0, r_WaterDrawRefraction 0 disable reflections and refractions on water.

r_shadows disables all shadows in the game, glorious!

mat_filtertextures 0 disables filtering the texture to make them look uniform, so the

textures will look a bit more blocky.

mat_filterlightmaps 0 does the same for light, so light effects over surfaces will look pretty

blocky as well.

mat_showlowresimage 1 forces the game use the lowest resolution textures for everything

This is when you truly in the most desperate of positions.

You can use r_eyes 0 to disable eyes on the character, completely.

And while you are at it r_teeth 0 disables character teeth. I told you we where going in deep.

cl_ejectbrass 0 makes the brass that is ejected every time you fire a gun, disapear.

muzzleflash_light 0 disables the light the gun emits when firing.

props_break_max_pieces 0 and props_break_max_pieces_perframe 0 cause breakable objects to not leave any

remains and simply disappear.

r_3dsky 0, r_drawskybox 0 disable the sky, yes, the sky.

There will be no skybox and elements will simply ghost all over the screen.

r_dynamic 0, r_dynamiclighting 0, r_maxdlights 0 disable dynamic lighting.

Since this might make the game too dark to be playable you can then use mat_fullbright

1 to make sure everything is light up to the maximum level.

You can the use cl_detaildist 0 to disable things like grass and cl_show_splashes 0 to

disable water splashes.

And those are just the most important commands!

You will also find in the description a file with a short description of what other commands

in the configuration file do.

If the game does not load the commands by default you can simply use exec autoexec to

load them all.

By using ALL of these commands at the same time in the same intense sequences caused

the game to reach over over 140 FPS, even if the game becomes a bit of an amusing glitchfest

where you can not grasp the true form of the sky and the water is invisible.

And yes, while this makes the game unrecognizable, in fact it looks more like an indie experimental

shooter than half life, with different combinations of these commands you can likely get the game

to perform well on some really, really week computers

So, give it a try and use some of these commands if you are feeling desperate of playing this

game on anything

I want to remind you of a few powerful, yet easily forgotten truths that will help you

choose wisely and grow stronger even through the hardest times�

The wisest, most loving, and well rounded people you have ever met are likely those

who have known misery, known defeat, known the heartbreak of losing something or someone

they loved, and have found their way out of the depths of their own despair. These people

have experienced many ups and downs, and have gained an appreciation, a sensitivity, and

an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, understanding and a deep loving

wisdom. People like this aren�t born; they develop slowly over the course of time.

Angel and I have worked with thousands of these incredible people over the past decade,

both online and offline, through various forms of coaching. In many cases they came to us

feeling stuck and lost, unaware of their own brilliance, blind to the fact that their struggles

have strengthened them and given them an upper hand in this crazy world.

Truth be told, when hard times hit, and the challenges you face are great, you can either

let your situation define you, let it destroy you or let it strengthen you. The choice is

yours to make.

1. Pain is part of life and love, and it helps you grow.

So many of us are afraid of ourselves, of our own truth, and our feelings most of all.

We talk about how great the concepts of life and love are, but then we hide from both every

day. We hide from our truest feelings. Because the truth is life and love hurt sometimes,

and the feelings this brings disturbs us.

We are taught at an early age that all pain is evil and harmful. Yet, how can we ever

deal with real life and true love if we�re afraid to feel what we really feel? We need

to feel pain, just as we need to feel alive and loved. Pain is meant to wake us up. Yet

we try to hide our pain. Realize this. Pain is something to carry willingly, just like

good sense. Because you can only learn how strong you are when being strong is the only

choice you have.

It�s all in how you carry the things that don�t go your way. That�s what matters

in the end. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you � your own reality. If

you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you�re letting the lies of insecurity destroy your

reality. You should stand up for your right to feel pain � to endure it � to own your

scars � to deal with the realities of life and love, as you grow into the strongest,

wisest, truest version of yourself.

2. Mindset is half the battle.

It�s okay to have down days and tough times. Expecting life to be wonderful all the time

is wanting to swim in an ocean in which waves only rise up and never come crashing down.

However, when you recognize that the rising and crashing waves are part of the exact same

ocean, you are able to let go and be at peace with the reality of these ups and downs. It

becomes clear that life�s ups require life�s downs.

In other words, life isn�t perfect, but it sure is good. Our goal shouldn�t be to

create a perfect life, but to live an imperfect life in radical amazement. To get up every

morning and take a good look around in a way that takes nothing for granted. Everything

is extraordinary. Every day is a gift. Never treat life casually. To be spiritual in any

way is to be amazed in every way.

Do not let the pain of a situation make you hopeless. Do not let negativity wear off on

you. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Even though others may disagree

with you, take pride in the fact that you still know the world to be a beautiful place.

Change your thoughts and you change your reality.

And mindset is especially powerful when it comes to accepting that�

3. Your biggest fears don�t really exist.

When times are hard it can be difficult to follow your heart and take another step, but

it�s a tragedy to let the lies of fear stop you. Although fear can feel overwhelming,

and defeats more people than any other force in the world, it�s not as powerful as it

seems. Fear is only as deep as your mind allows. You are still in control. So take control!

The key is to acknowledge your fear and directly address it. Fight hard to shine the light

of your words upon it. Because if you don�t, if your fear becomes a wordless, obscure darkness

that you avoid, and perhaps even manage to briefly forget, you open yourself to future

attacks from fear when you least expect it. Because you never truly faced the opponent

who defeated you.

You CAN beat fear if you face it. Be courageous! And remember that courage doesn�t mean you

don�t get afraid; courage means you don�t let fear stop you from moving forward with

your life. (Angel and I discuss this in more detail in the �Adversity� chapter of 1,000

Little Things Happy, Successful People Do Differently.)

4. You are growing through experience.

Over time you will find that life isn�t necessarily any easier or harder than you

thought it was going to be; it�s just that the easy and the hard aren�t exactly the

way you had anticipated, and don�t always occur when you expect them to. This isn�t

a bad thing; it makes life interesting. With a positive attitude you will always be pleasantly

surprised.

When you stop expecting things to be a certain way, you can appreciate them for what they

are. Ultimately you will realize that life�s greatest gifts are rarely wrapped the way

you expected.

Experience is what you get when your plans don�t go as planned, and experience is the

most valuable commodity you own � it builds your strength.

You have the power to turn your wounds and worries into wisdom; you just have to do something

about them. You have to accept what has happened and use what you�ve learned to step forward.

Everything you�ve experienced has given you the upper hand for dealing with everything

you have yet to experience. Realize this and set yourself free.

5. You can�t change situations you don�t take responsibility for.

Sigmund Freud once said, �Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves

responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility.� Don�t let this be

you. When you blame others for what you�re going through, you deny responsibility � you

surrender power over that part of your life.

Make no mistake, in the end, the price of happiness IS responsibility. As soon as you

stop making everyone and everything else responsible for your happiness, the happier you�ll be.

If you�re unhappy now, it�s not someone else�s fault.

Ultimately, your happiness depends on your self-reliance � your unshakable willingness

to take responsibility for your life from this moment forward, regardless of who had

a hand in making it the way it is now. It�s about taking control of your present circumstances,

thinking for yourself, and making a firm choice to choose differently. It�s about being

the hero of your life, not the victim.

6. The present is all you really have to deal with.

Life is not lived in some distant, imagined land of someday where everything is perfect.

It is lived here and now, with the reality of the way things are. Yes, by all means you

can work toward an idealized tomorrow. Yet to do so, you must successfully deal with

the world as it is today.

Sometimes we avoid experiencing exactly where we are because we have developed a belief,

based on past experiences, that it is not where we should be or want to be. But the

truth is, where you are now is exactly where you need to be to get to where you want to

go tomorrow. So appreciate where you are.

Your friends and family are too beautiful to ignore. Take a moment to remember how fortunate

you are to be breathing. Take a look around, with your eyes earnestly open to the possibilities

before you. Much of what you fear does not exist. Much of what you love is closer than

you realize. You are just one brief thought away from understanding the blessing that

is your life.

Happiness is a mindset that can only be designed into the present. It�s not a point in the

future or a moment from the past; yet sadly, this misconception hurts the masses. So many

young people seem to think all their happiness awaits them in the years ahead, while so many

older people believe their best moments are behind them. Don�t be either of them. Don�t

let the past and the future steal your present.

7. There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.

Life is better when you�re smiling. Being positive in a negative situation is not naive;

it�s a sign of leadership and strength. You�re doing it right when you have so much

to cry and complain about, but you prefer to smile and appreciate your life instead.

What if you woke up tomorrow with only the things you were thankful for today?

Think of all the beauty that remains around you, see it and smile. Be thankful for all

the small things in your life, because when you put them all together you will see just

how significant they are. At the end of the day, it�s not happiness that makes us thankful,

but thankfulness that makes us happy.

8. Great things take time.

Instant results are rarely the best results. With patience, you can greatly expand your

potential. If your desires were always fulfilled immediately, you would have nothing to look

forward to. You would miss out on the joys of anticipation and progress.

Remember, patience is not about waiting; it�s the ability to keep a good attitude while

working hard for what you believe in. It�s the willingness to stay focused, confidently

staking one small step at a time, knowing that the way you move a mountain is by moving

one stone at a time. Every stone you move, no matter how small, is progress.

Bottom line: You deserve more than mere instant gratification. Value that arrives in an instant

is often gone in an instant. Value that takes time and commitment to create often outlives

its creator � YOU.

9. Other people cannot validate you.

When we�re struggling to achieve something important, sometimes we look to others to

validate our progress. But the truth is, they can�t�

You are not in this world to live up to the expectations of others, nor should you feel

that others are here to live up to yours. Pave your own unique path. What success means

to each of us is totally different. Success is ultimately about spending your life happily

in your own way.

You don�t have to be flashy to be impressive. You don�t have to be famous to be significant.

You don�t have to be a celebrity to be successful. You don�t need to be validated by anyone

else. You are already valuable. You just need to believe in yourself and what you wish to

achieve.

You can be quietly humble and still be amazingly effective. Just because people don�t fall

at your feet and worship you, doesn�t mean you are a failure. Quiet success is just as

sweet as loud, flamboyant success, and usually far more real. Success is how you define it,

not what everyone else says it must be for you.

10. You are not alone.

In the midst of hard times, it�s easy to look around and see a bunch of people who

seem to be doing just fine. But they�re not. We�re all struggling in our own way.

And if we could just be brave enough to open up about it, and talk to each other, we�d

realize that we are not alone in feeling lost and alone.

So many of us are fighting the same exact battle alongside you. We are all in this together.

So no matter how embarrassed or pathetic you feel about your own situation, know that there

are others out there experiencing the same emotions. When you hear yourself say, �I

am all alone,� it�s just your worried mind trying to sell you a lie. There�s always

someone who can relate to you. Perhaps you can�t immediately talk to them, but they

are out there.

If you�re feeling desperate right now, hear me: I often feel and think and struggle much

like you do. I care about many of the things you care about, just in my own way. And although

some people do not understand us, we understand each other. YOU are not alone!

Afterthoughts

One of life�s greatest gifts is the fact that life is difficult. Because in dealing

with life�s difficulties, we build invaluable strength. This strength enables us to successfully

fulfill our deepest, most meaningful purposes. It is precisely because life is difficult

that we are able to make it great. It is because life is difficult that we are able to rise

above the difficulties. We are able to make a difference and we are able to truly matter.

So remember this�

When times are tough, you must be tougher. Don�t pray for an easy life; pray for the

strength to endure a tough one that leads to greatness.

Hello there and welcome back to my channel! It is Saturday night,

6:30 pm romanian time, 5:30 pm hungarian time.

Later we will be going out and I thought I'd film a little video for you.

It is an exciting one, because I got a lot of new makeup last week (uh a little something in the air).

from Essence, Catrice and Max Factor. Here I have them all.

I got them in these little plastic bags and I got 2 of these.

I thought I'd do a first impressions makeup video for you today,

and I've never done something like this before.

This is a risky thing for me becaue as I said, we will be going out, people will see me obviously

so I hope this will turn out good, without a chaos on my face.

I have all kinds of stuff here...what I couldn't find is concealer so we will be using this one by Catrice.

This I got a while ago, so the majority of the products I'll be using are new,

but there will be 1-2 products that I did not have in the package but I need to put on my face.

So I had to find some products that I already have but have not used before...uh, that sounded so complicated.

The main thing is: chatty first impression makeup tutorial,

hope you enjoy. I hope it will turn out good, so let's begin!

I did not receive a primer and also I do not have one that I never used before so

I have to cheat just a little here at the beginning.

I will use the Born to Glow primer by NYX,

and also the Pore Filler by NYX as well.

That is for erasing some of the pores.

The Born To Glow is white and has some shimmers in it as well.

It gives a dewy finish to the skin.

I like it!

I need just a little of the Pore Filler.

It has a very weird texture by the way.

I do not know if you can tell but it's weird.

I am pushing this into the skin

where my pores are more visible.

You wanna do this motion just to push the product into the pores and then make them disappear.

Next is foundation. Here I have this 24 h Catrice foundation

which I have not tried yet. I did a swatch and I think it is too light for me

but let's see it on the skin as well.

I think this is a little light for me so because this is a first impressions video

let's try this Catrice makeup transformer drops.

This is the darker shade obviously so I'll pump a little foundation on the back of my hand

and then a little bit of this goes in the mix...

Something like that, let's say.

I'm mixing that with my foundation brush, which is this one by NYX.

Looks better but I think I need more of the darker shade.

The coverage by the way looks pretty good.

It's not looking like a mask.

Ok, foundation is done. The shade I am using is 010 nude beige.

It's not bad!

The coverage is good but what I do not really like about it is that it sits on the skin a little.

It has a weird texture on top of my skin, you know what I mean.

But I think it looks good overall.

Ok, next step is concealer.

I'm using this one by Catrice.

Hmmm...my first impression is that it is a little too liquidy.

It's not like creamy...it's too runy on the skin.

Not what I need,

not that good for me.

Whatever I say about products, please keep in mind, that's only my personal opinion.

If I do not like something, it does not mean it' bad or it won't work for you as well.

So the concealer is not good for me, too liquidy and the coverage is not that great as well.

I think I'm gonna bring here my Zoeva concealer palette to help the situation.

See? A lott better, a lot creamier, stays on the skin...so yes, a lot better. A lot.

I did not get a powder and there is not one I have never used before so I'm gonna use my actual favorite

which is by NYX, the no filter powder in Albatros.

I will use this triangle sponge to apply it.

I like this to be very bright...and also I need powder on top of my concealer

otherwise it creases.

This is not optional for me.

It looks weird, I know, but it will get better. I promise!

I have an awesome palette here. I already swatched it on my hands.

But obviously I do not know how it's on the eyes.

It looks like this. It is from Catrice as well.

Look at those colors. So pretty. So so pretty.

Let's do something boring bronzy, rose golden...

what do you think? But this is what we have and we will make it work.

I have here 2 mascaras but one looks better for me than the other.

Catrice Glam and Doll sculpt and volume mascara.

Mascara is so important for me, it makes the eyes pop so I hope this will be good.

I like this mascara a lot so I recommend it.

Let's do some bronzer and blush now because my face looks very pale at the moment.

So that is necessary.

I did not get bronzer or blush, but I have here a little palette by Catrice

that I got and have not tried yet.

In one of my previous videos I was talking about wanting to watch The 50 shades of grey...

And we saw it.

Somebody wrote in the comments that is a very typical love story with a very predictable ending...

I was prepared for that. The film was good...I mean it has 120 minutes, so like the first 110-105 minutes

were so beautiful, the locations, the love story, the music, the pictures...

And I was thinking about our dinner, because we were about to go have dinner after the film.

We were having my fave fish dish at one of my favorite places, anyways.

So I was like wondering about our dinner...so I was dreaming about my food while watching the film, actually.

And then...the ending, the last 10-15 minutes...shocking! Shocking!

What's this?

The blush is not bad...orangey, so it goes well with the eye look that we have going on.

Highlight. We have here this liquid illuminizer strobing pen.

This is Catrice as well...as the majority of the products I used today.

Look, there it is. I do not know if I should put this cream on top pf my powder,

because it will just creae on top, you know. So that is super risky.

But we have something else by Catrice, these highlighting pearls.

Like that. And these are little pearls, again...so maybe I should try this.

Hm, a little too white, too light...

not really the best combo with my orange/peach eyeshadow look. So let's see...

So I'll apply this creamy stuff on my face...here we have it...gently.

Ok, lips. It's time...my lips are super dry at the moment.

There's something I wanna try out for sure and this is the instant lipstick mattifier by Catrice.

It looks like this. It looked super exciting when I first saw it in the package.

So this is for making your not matte lipstick matte.

So I have a little NYX palette here full of lipsticks that I have never tried before.

Look at this gourgeosness.

These are the cream products and I will choose a nude shade for today's look.

Oh how pretty you all are.

So the most exciting part where we try the lipstick mattifier.

I do not really know how to apply this...maybe with the same little brush as we applied the lipstivk.

So what do you see? Is it matte?

I think yes, there is a difference. I can see a difference.

I think I can go out tonight like this without a problem.

I like how this makeuo turned ut, hope you like it too.

I enjoyed filming this for you because it was interesting to see all the products in action.

Of course there are some products that I could not try out today

because we can't put everything on our faces at once.

What I wanna mention is the brow pencil I used today.

This is Catrice as well and you have to have this. So good.

This is the Catrice Slim'matic Ultra Precise brow pencil,

in light.

And I really like it, so so good.

And also what I already tried out and what I enjoyed a lot...

is this Catrice liquid metal long lasting cream shadow.

It looks like this and this is a beautiful metalic grey/rose gold shade.

This product is also amazing. I just wanted ti give 'em a quick mention because we have not used them yet in this video.

Maine Coon Kitten Watery Eye - Duration: 8:00.

Hey! What's up everybody

Today I'm taking my kitten to the veterinary

Because she've got watery eye

on her right eye

only one side

and I noticed that she also has a lot of sneezing per day

I'm guessing she might has a cold

and that's why I need to take her there to make sure everything is gonna be fine

She is only 2 and half months old

And she is Maine Coon cat

I'm worried about her

I'm going out now because its already afternoon

She has water in this eye and the other side not

See! She is also sneeze

Ok let's go

And now we're already in the car

My kitten is laying here with me

How are you?

Half the way now

She is nearly fall sleep

Traffic is pretty bad today so I think its gonna need a while to get over there

I think I'm not gonna film inside the clinic

Because not sure if I can film

But definitely I'll film again see you guys again after I already sent her in

Because I wanna tell you guys what she is definitely had

And how to treat her

and what's the result

I just got back from the pet clinic

and I've got some stuff for her

Just a few bags over here that I've got

So I've got her food which is veterinary care nutrition for 400 g

It's the Weaning type

Just the small pack

And I've got the big one as well

This one is 2 kg

And I've got her toy

Also I've got sand, big size

And another type of food which is wet food

I've got her Gravy and Jelly

She likes it a lot

I gave her to eat one pack per day

And for this one I gave her as the measurement from here

So for example

You can see behind the package it said 24 hours plus water

You can give her dry or with the water its ok

You can see here by the age

My kitten she is 2 and half months

So you can give her 50 to 65 g

and if you wanna mix with water you can do 4/8 to 5/8

And that will be good for her to eat

More than that I've got her medicine

It's a lot of medicines

We also got this

We went to this clinic its in Thai I'll show you in English

It called Sukhumvit veterinarians at Sukhumvit 51 in Bangkok

In my opinion I think this pet clinic is very good

because they're helpful, kind, good service and also they taking care of your pets very good

They can answer everything what you wanna know

When I asked them something and just answer me a lot

and give me knowledge and information that I've never know

And they give me a lot of suggestions

You just have to tell what's going on with your pets

and after that they will tell you what you should do

what medicines they will give you

how to give medicine to your pets

and how to taking care of your pets

after that you should take your pets back there again to check if your pet is ok

Yeah, everything is goes well for me

If any of you guys you have a pet and you've been there

You can share an experience with me or what you're thinking and how is your pet

if your pet is cat we can even talk more

And also I actually had a story of my kitten

Where I bought her from

But I will not put her story in this video

because I wanna talk more a lot about her

and you will see and could feel my experience and then you could be more careful

Because I bought her from somewhere and she has got some sickness

And you will have to spend a lot of money for her in this case
