Tityus, Ixion, Sisyphus and Tantalus endure the onslaught of a ferocious and unceasing storm.

The punishment of the gods is for ever and is irreversible, there is a message of

"un-redemption" in that series of paintings which I believe

is toned down in the religious paintings because with Catholic belief, which is what Ribera

primarily devoted himself to, there exists the possibility of penitence and pardon.

So from there we've created "The Pardon and the Fury", a police thriller

with a backdrop of Ribera.

I trained as an illustrator primarily by reading a lot of comics, seeing a lot of films

and if there is one painter I looked at a lot, it's Goya.

I have to admit that I only had a fairly vague idea of Ribera so I had

to rediscover him and the fact is I was really amazed, precisely for that

treatment of light which has always interested me in my illustration work.

That very harsh black and white, a very harsh light that brings the figures out from a black background

and presents them in a very Expressionist manner, as a reflection of suffering,

the faces, but the light…very, very important.

In the beginning was the word, so before the illustrator begins messing about

with his pencil and starts the first preliminary sketches there has to be

a relatively developed project. After doing the research, submerging myself rather in the world of Ribera,

of Naples in the first half of the 17th century where he lived, I presented a summary

of five or six pages in which the plot line was already clearly developed.

I always use the same example as I believe that it explains things very well, which is that

if I was a pianist playing a piece, I have to bring the emotions, the force,

whatever, but I would still be interpreting a piece of music.

For me, the illustration is always at the service of the story, not the other way round.

For the illustrator the story must always be the only reference point and the only thing

he should really look at and make use of.

They said that Ribera was a painter who conveyed the emotions of the characters

he painted so well that they were contagious, what I mean is, if you spend time

close to or looking at Ribera's paintings you will not only be able to empathise with the figure

but also share many of these feelings.

This was precisely about allowing oneself to be infected. In the creation of this graphic project

"The Pardon and the Fury", everything has been dominated by that presence of Ribera's two Furies.

By those faces, those gazes, even those bodies. We have a character who

goes through the book almost naked, so I made the effort to ensure that the bodies

had a Ribera-like quality to them, even that they gradually moved from being a flatter thing

to increasingly tortured, even with dirtier shadows, again in order to reflect the fact

that the character is in some way becoming Ribera'd, which also had to be represented graphically.

I've also found myself trapped in that suffocating tower. A prisoner

like the main character. He starts becoming Ribera and so do I to some extent,

turning him into him and also turning me into myself.

It's been a very intense experience in all senses.

"Be careful, these images are catching",

and what we hope is that we have conveyed our evident admiration

for the work of Ribera and that the reader also ends up infected,

contaminated by the spirit of Ribera.

Building a Polar Bear Vending Machine with LEGO - BOOWHOWOO How to LEGO - Duration: 8:49.

Hello everyone, I'm BOOWHOWOO.

Today I will show you LEGO polar bear-shaped vending machine.

I'll tell you how to play.

Put marbles

over here

then

close the lid.

A marble comes out

when you pull the polar bear's nose

When you pull there again,

you can get the second marble.

This is tongue.

I imagined the marbles

come out from the polar bear's mouth.

Let me explain how the inside is.

The nose can be taken out and withdrawn.

A marble

in the hole drops

when the nose is pulled

Can you see how it moves?

the marbles drops down

and comes out from the mouth.

How comes when there are two marbles?

Put the two marbles in the hole.

When I pull the nose

the purple marble drops first

not the yellow one I put first.

The purple one comes forward

and then

the yellow one also follows

and comes out.

Here I put a inclined parts

to make marbles coming out easier.

I made a polar bear with white LEGO.

I would be a rabbit if you make the ears longer.

And you can make your own favorite animals

by changing the color of LEGO.

I explained how to make it

in the end of the video.

You can just build as square up to the middle.

You can use any parts

that is thin.

to fit into the hole on the top

if we build this higher.

This square is a covered square with rounded floor and tree floors of households and a railing that goes all over it

''La plaza nueva'' or ''Del Cid'' was built by Salvador Escrig in 1840

On top of an urban space to dedicate it to the commerce, in particular to the sale of fish and meet

Nowadays it's nown as ''the Plaza Redonda'' (the rounded square)

Since Muslim time the commercial zone of the city of Valencia was placed in the neighbourhood that currently is occupied by ''the Plaza Redonda''

Before the building of ''the Plaza Redonda'' the butchery, fishmonger and slaughterhouse were located in this place

Finally it was decided to install this last one at the beginning of the XIX century

After the demolition of the old slaughterhouse, the architect Salvador Escrig presented the new ''plaza redonda'' plane that would occupy these lands

In 1850 the famous central fountain of eight faucets was built

and in 2012 it was rehabilitated at the same time that the cover was remodelled and the market stalls.

since the origin the low houses have collected shops that are dedicated to food and domestic objects selling

but nowadays the shops are dedicated to clothes selling

on Sundays this square becomes a colorful market in which domestic objects, animals, food, plants and everything you can think of is soold

''La Plaza Redonda'' is usually known as ''el clot'' or ''the hole'' in Valencian

This name is attributed because of it's circular shape

The square is conected with the rest of adjacent streets throuh four arcs

which three of them where located towards the slaughterhouse and the fishmonger before square construction

Dolly Smokey Eye Makeup with Cool Tone Eyeshadow Colours/Grey Blue and Black Smokey Eye Makeup - Duration: 5:06.

Hey guys welcome back,

I'm going to use really affordable palettes

to show you a dolly smoky eye make up

with mature shimmery cool tone eyeshadow colors,

so it's a good mixture .

i will skip the foundation routine.

First apply this neutral color eyeshadow to contour the top eyelid under my brow bone,

i'm using a fluffy brush to create a basic depth for my top eyelid.

I will use shimmery grey and black colour later which I've never tried before.

just make sure to soften all the harsh lines

Then apply this shimmery light grey colour under the socket line,

I bought this eyeshadow palette from Japanese daiso store, really affordable and works well.

Then apply this bluish dark gray color to the outer corner of the eye,

and blend to connect with the other two colors.

I tried to avoid cool tone colors but i decided to jump out of my comfort zone

soften the harsh lines,

Then blend on the lower lash line,

from the Outer corner to the middle,

connect with top lid eyeshadow,

Then apply this white shimmery color to highlight the eye,

The middle area of the light gray and lower lash line,

from inner corner to the middle,

light and shade are best friends.

highlight just make the shade work well

I will finish the rest of eyeshadow after eye liner

Then I'll apply Maybelline gel liner in black

I think gel eyeliner is quite easy for beginners

because the brush is soft and easy to control,

just fill all the colour gaps

for lower lash line I'll start from the inner corner then blend to the middle,

apply these shimmery black color to emphasize the Outer corner of lower lash line,

blend to connect with the eyeliner.

just soften all the harsh lines

Then curl my lashes,

my false lashes give me sort of dolly look,

just use mascara for my lower lashes,

,then i will do a soft arched eyebrow,

the combination of my contact lenses, false lashes and white highlight under lower lash line

gave me sort of dolly look,

but the greyish black smokey eye and my eyebrow shape gave me a mature statement,

i like this mixture

I'll use this color for my cheek blusher and my lip moisturizer.

pat loose power to set the colour.

mix these two shades for contouring

on my jawline and my nose,

that's simple finished look,

I will add some red color for my lips,

with the previous lip moisturiser , it turned out to be orange red,

which is a warm color tone to balance the cool tone eyeshadow.

I'm going to imagine you already know how to greet someone with the simple greetings

of, "Hi" and "Hello"

But there are four greetings I want to go over with you that you would use when someone

you know well returns from a trip.

So let's imagine a good friend of yours has just gotten back from a one month vacation.

The first time you run into them, you could say:

"Hey Dave, long time no see."

"Long time no see."

This is a North American phrase or greeting that basically means, "Hey it's been a long

time, and during that time I did not see you."

The second thing that you could say to them is, "It has been a while."

"Hey Dave.

It has been a while."

And the faster version of that would be:

"It's been a while."

"Hey Dave.

It's been a while."

"Hey Dave.

It's been a while."

The third thing you could say to them, especially if you are greeting someone you know extremely

well like a family member is, "It is good to see you."

"Hey Dave.

It is good see you."

As well you could say, "Hey Dave.

It's good to see you."

And the last thing that you could say of the four is, "Hey Dave, How have you been?"

"Hey Dave.

How was your trip, and how have you been?"

Now those are four ways that you can greet someone that you know quite well after not

having seen them for a while.

You can also combine them, so you could say:

"Hey Dave.

Long time no see.

It is good to see you."

"Hey Dave.

It has been a while.

How have you been?"

You can use them almost interchangeably.

I wouldn't put all four together though.

Because that would get a little bit long.

today I am attending to Kielh's new launch party because

mrs Tanaka Ai invited me so I decided to vlog today!

i just woke so that's why I'm still in my pjs but

it's been a while so I decided to vlog!

it's actually my first time vlogging in Japanese so

it feels weird to me but

i am vlogging !

that starts at 7 and i don't really have anything before that so

i have to wear makeup

yea i just have to edit my videos

i am going to show you guys my outfit

apparently the theme of this party is a festival so there would be like a lawn so

the dress code is a festival look so

my outfit is kinda like that

when i first heard that i was going to wear the non sleeve cardigan that I got from WEGO

i've talked about that a lot on this channel but

that's too cold so

i didn't wear that

when i was a trainee, there were like recitals and

we had to pick our own outfits

and i wore these tights that has holes in them often

i will show you properly when i actualy wear them

so i decided to think of my outfit around those tights

with that i'm just wearing shorts

and this

this is from Kesha's concert that i went to ages ago, it was in Australia so

this is so old

it says kesha here

it's like a beanie

i think it was like 200 dollars so it was pretty expensive

but i bought it cuz it was cute

but you need a lot of confidence to wear this so

i only wear on events so

i decided to wear this~

i am going to put some make up on

make up is done

i haven't done some lips because it's going to come off and

i also haven't decided yet

for my eyeliners today, this is probably really bad for the eyes

so i really don't recommend it but

apparently expiration period for eyeliners and mascara is like only 3 months

but i can't use up all the product taht fast even if i use it everyday

so i don't want to throw it away

i just use it until my eyes are itchy

so i used this really old Eco Lasting eyeliner from innisfree

i think i bought it in 2014

i had two and i threw away one just then but

it was really dry so

it's on my eyelashes and

it's in my eyes so it hurts so bad

this is how my make is doing today

the tights that i was talking about it like this

i hope you can see them

it's like this when i wear them all

this is so extra

i think i am ging to do this when i am heading there

well.. i hope it fits in my bag

i am home!

it was really hard to come home because it was so windy but

i got some goodies in this bag so

i am going to show them to you

i always drop something

this is a face mask

i tried it on one palm and

the palm that i applied the face mask feels a lot more soft

i am also looking for a nice face mask

i can never find the right one

this is going to be released on the 28th of April

it's sort of like a gel

i always received this toner by uploading an instagram photo with certain hashtags

the flowers inside it

is all picked by hand

i've never used this kind of toner

i also made this wax

i chose yellow

but i put too much of the flowers in

and i also put too much essential oil

because i'm so clumsy

but i don't think i can make anything that is better than this

i also received seeds of Calendula from one of the performances

i can also use the bag itself

i can use it for everyday wear

so yea i attended the new product launch party

the atmosphere was literally like a festival so it was super fun!

but i didn't have enough confidence to wear the cat beanie

hand picked Calendulas! released on the 28 th of April!

It's fasha. Its been a while. Oh no I pulled her sometime. I've seen her daily. Ok now

we finally in 4 no 5 days we have finally got a ssr. A super saiyan blue super saiyan

vegeta. It can be dokkan awoken from the previous vegeta raid. Got him from a re roll. The first

video I posted I pulled vegeta. It is a memorable character tho. Finally an ssr has came. For

those who were like me with no ssrs did you get one? It's not impossible to get a ssr.

Ok now the 3rd of February of the log in tickets will be an end. Everyone please tell me what

you got in today's pull. I got a a ssr so it's cool. I will be ending is video now.
