Crocante de avellana y cereza - Paso a Paso con JG - Duration: 12:40.

It's a pleasure welcoming you again

to our show step by step with Javier Guillén

on today's show I will show you how to make a "Cherry and Hazelnut Crunch"

let's start

STEP 1: HAZELNUT CRUNCH

150 g butter

300 g sugar

150 g powdered hazelnut

150 g flour

the first thing we will do is the hazelnut crunch

so we have a mixer

and our ingredients

we take the hazelnut

flour

and sugar

we always mix the dry ingredients first

so we can add the butter afterwards little by little

our butter

the good thing about this dough is that it is very neutral

if we want to add some scent to it, add anise powder

ehh... cinnamon powder, vanilla powder, anything you want

in this case it's natural

we add cold butter as always

in cubs forms

little by little

we incorporate

and we wait until it has blended in thoroughly

once we have an even dough

we place it on a silicone baking mat

shape them like little balls like crumbles

and we bake them to 150 degrees

for 16-20 minutes

so check out the dough

it is starting to even out

once we have this sort of lumps

we stop the mixer

on a silicone baking mat

we pour it

and we sprinkle

the crunchy dough

we sprinkle it well

we spread it in the silicone baking mat

if there are too many lumps left it will cook too much

and inside it will remain undercooked

so make sure you spread it

remember 150 degrees for 16 to 20 minutes

let´s take it to the oven

STEP 2: PISTACCIO CUSTARD

620 g pistaccio paste

4 g gelatin

305 g liquid cream

90 g liquid cream

Now we will prepare the pistaccio custard

so

take the cream

and we bring it to the boil

we mix the gelatin with water

always mix it well

or we can also boil it

another small part

of milk

and now we wait for the boil

while we have the pistaccio custard

it is a natural paste

take a look at the texture it has

these are simply chopped pistaccio

no food coloring

no preservatives, nothing

simply the chopped pistaccio

and once it's boiling

we will pour it

on the pistaccio

this custard can be made with pistaccio, hazelnuts, almonds

or any nut

and the recipe is the same

if you see it has boiled already

and the pistaccio paste is ready

simply

notice the natural color

like I said before there's nothing artificial on it, no food coloring

when you see anything made out of pistaccio or that contains pistaccio

an ice cream for example that looks too green

be careful

as it might be food coloring

so the pistaccio has to have this color always

we mix well starting from the center

and we will always find some pieces of pistaccio

¿Why is that? Because it's natural

It's a good thing when at home or with a customer, we eat

and we chew on a piece of pistaccio

that's how we know it's natural

now we wait no more than 5 minutes

and we put it on top of our mold

where we have previously put

the gelatin or marmalade

well then we already have the pistaccio custard

and previously our gelatin

so we will pour

in on our mold

i insist if you want to use a different mold you can that's not a problem

i chose this one

to vary a little bit

but any other mold

will work

use a spoon

to spread it well

in this case this is a silicone mold

but if it was stainless steel or any other material

that wouldn't be a problem

and now we take it to the freezer

STEP 3: CHERRY MARMALADE

500 g cherry pulp

40 g sugar

8 g pectin

3.5 g gelatin

205 g minced boiled cherries

225 g cherries

Now we will prepare the cherry marmalade

the cherry pulp

we can buy it or we can make it at home, it's simply cherry pulp

mashed with some water

a little bit of sugar

and that's it

the minced cherries

the gelatin we hydrated with water

as you know you can find gelatin sheets or powder gelatin

both of them

will turn out great

finally our sugar

we take everything to the boil

don't be afraid to boil the gelatin a lot of people are afraid of boiling the gelatin

that's not a problem

you can boil it

without a problem

and we wait for the boil

take a look at the texture it has

it's boiling already

we stop and we pour it on our mold

well in this case for this recipe we have used this mold

but don't worry at home you can use the mold you want

but this time

i wanted to do it this way

if you notice we have a wavy shape

that we will be able to see perfectly on the marmalade

so on a rectangular mold

we place the shape

and the marmalade

goes inside

we spread it well

and we take it to the freezer

STEP 4: GLAZE

450 g dark chocolate

150 g cream

200 g condensed milk

300 g sugar

20 g gelatin

100 g water

Well then, I bring this glaze to you

as you know there are many different glazes in the market that are very complex

in this case this is a very simple glaze

there is no certain type of coat, no type of shine

it's just sugar

chocolate and condensed milk with a little bit of water

we will have shine, durability, it can be frozen

let's take a look

first

we add water

glucose syrup

notice the texture of the glucose

condensed milk

that will add shine

sugar

and a little more sugar, we incorporate that

we continuously stir so nothing sticks to the bottom

as you know the glucose can stick very easily to the pan

that's why

we need to stir well

we mix the gelatin with water

always mix it well

we wait for the boil

and we add the chocolate

once it boils we remove the heat and we add the chocolate

this glaze is better to use it not too hot

if it's too hot it will have bubbles

we will always do it

at around 30-35 degrees

that means not too hot

and not too cold

this time I use a small bar

as you know it can get air in it

but I will use it as decoration not as a whole glaze

so I can

use the small bar

notice how it's starting to get thicker

some strings are hanging

so at the moment this is on top of the cake

it will be blocked

STEP 4: ASSEMBLY

Well then we are about to finish the dessert

we have removed the mold from the rectangle

and now we have some cherries to decorate

a little bit of gelatin

a little bit of pistaccio powder

some crumble

some glaze

and our decoration

so this is like playing a little, this doesn't follow a recipe

it's random it's like we feel it, as we like it

so

we are going to play

for instance take a cherry

and

add

a second cherry

i always let the decorations

show a little of what's inside

so

there's nothing better

than natural cherries

the glaze

will add shine

and a different touch

some pistaccio powder because we used pistaccio paste

and we use the glaze to make sure it sticks

a little bit of crumble

and we finish off

by adding some sheets

of chocolate

some small chunks

and add

the chocolate garnish at last

this is a decoration, so you can do it as you like the most

we are simply trying to use the ingredients from the inside

on the outside

so the dessert speaks by itself

that's all for today I hope you like this recipe

remember to follow the youtube channel

and many more recipes

coming soon, on Step by Step with Javier Guillén

thanks

Tanki Online V-LOG: Episode 123 - Duration: 6:40.

This following is an unofficial translation Tanki Online is not responsible for the quality and accuracy of these subtitles

Hello Tankers!

In this episode of the V-LOG, we'll be giving you a progress report on the Clan system.

We'll also be telling you about the new settings menu,

and showing you the Artillery turret for the first time!

As you might have heard,

last week the Russian forum was completely wiped out due to an unfortunate event.

The forum is now back up,

but many of you are comparing this new installation to the old forum.

"Where is the Like button?"

"Why is the background white?"

"Is this what's going to happen to the English forum"?

Don't worry.

For now, we're just using the basic settings from the installation.

But you can definitely expect some changes soon.

The Like button has already been added.

At a later point, we'll add rank icons,

and eventually give players the option to choose their preferred theme:

white background with black letters,

OR the more familiar black background with white letters.

For now, let's take it step by step.

Clan licenses are finally available for purchase.

The Clan system is tested and finalized.

The maximum number of members for each clan is 12.

Eventually, once we add the special Clan currency,

it will be possible to increase the number of members.

We've already received some great feedback from some of our veteran esports players,

who had the opportunity to test the Clan system over the past week.

Keep in mind that, besides being able to join PRO-battles without using a PRO Pass,

clan members can also take part

in a new kind of battle that is only available for clan members,

and that protects players from mults and sabotage.

Check this out!

With the latest update, supply drop zones no longer disappear over distance,

and this is something that you will need to get used to,

because it is part of the optimization process

meant to decrease the number of critical errors in the game.

We are currently preparing a bunch of optimizations

meant to decrease the number of critical errors AND lags, even more.

We'll be sharing our results with you in upcoming episodes.

By the way, it is now much simpler to find a gold box drop zone.

But be careful not to confuse it with a SpeedUp drop zone!

A couple of episodes back,

we told you that the Player Rating system would be returning to the game.

Well, here it is!

You can find your toughness metric on the right hand side of your experience bar.

Unfortunately we haven't added Player Ratings to player profile pages yet.

That will come a bit later.

Another item from our latest update, is the new Settings menu.

It is now broken up in sections,

and while everything is grouped together, the different areas are not stuck to one screen.

This leaves us with more available space to add even more options.

For example, there is now a mouse sensitivity setting,

and an option to invert the Y axis, because some mouse users prefer

to have the camera look down when pushing the mouse forward.

This was already available using the game console,

but having it in the menu makes it much more convenient.

And the most interesting change is that players can now customize their controls.

You can change the controls for moving the tank,

the camera and even change the button for dropping gold boxes,

putting it somewhere far away from the other supply buttons.

And one more important thing.

Changing controls is connected to the client or browser, but not to the account.

This means that you can have different control settings on different devices.

In the last episode we launched a contest.

You had to send us a design of what you think the new Artillery turret will look like.

We received more than four hundred entries.

Now, it's time to reveal the looks of the new turret.

Please welcome Tanki's Artillery turret!

Groovy isn't it?

There were two ways for you to win a prize:

Either your design was close to the original Artillery turret

OR your design was really cool.

Additionally, we set no limit on the number of winners,

and each will receive a prize of 20 thousand crystals.

Here are the images that we thought were the best.

You can find the full list of winners in the V-LOG thread on the Forum.

The link is below the video.

Congratulations!

In the next episode,

we'll be sharing with you more details on the turret and it's unique functions.

We'll also be showing you what it looks like on different hulls,

and announcing an estimated release date.

Video of the week!

A week ago we asked you to shoot a video on the Molotov map.

Let's see the best submission.

For next time, there will be a CHALLENGE!

We want you to jump from THIS point on the Skyscrapers map, to THIS point.

How you do it is not important, BUT it must be one jump,

and you all must be wearing the Metallic paint.

Team size doesn't matter,

but of course, the bigger the team, the smaller the prize for every member.

This task is pretty challenging, so we have two nice prizes:

200 thousand crystals for the first team who manages to complete the task

and 200 thousand crystals for the best video, even if it's not the first

Go for it!

Good luck!

That's it tankers!

As you can see, our developers are moving at full speed

and working hard to put out a ton of cool stuff.

Follow the news and don't miss any of the upcoming episodes!

See you!

Last time, Wasp drove over 4 mines and was pushed forward by 4 Striker missiles.

You had to guess where it would land.

The correct answer is zone E.

Please welcome our winners.

Here's the next question.

How many Gold Boxes will Kasim manage to collect in 30 seconds?

Developing Strategies for Your Resistance - Duration: 2:40.

[Heroic Age begins playing]

Sage: Ahhh!

[Heroic Age stops playing]

I want to help, but sometimes I feel really powerless and overwhelmed.

I often think that helping looks like donating, volunteering, or marching - and these things

are great, but I don't always have the resources in order to do them.

But these aren't the only options or the only ways to get involved.

When you're resisting, when you want to get involved with activism-based work, you should

draw upon your strengths.

I'm a wrier, so, letter writing makes sense for me.

I've been working on writing and sending out physical letters to my Prime Minister, as

well as my local representatives.

I've heard that e-mails are pretty easy for them to ignore, which is why I've been trying

to send them like actual physical letters because I feel like that is probably about

as effective as a phone call.

Also, phone calls.

That's another thing.

And so I'm also a list-maker, and I've been making lists around my little actions and

resistance-based stuff um for a little while.

I read this article where somebody suggested that in order to not feel really overwhelmed

and really helpless in the face of everything that's happening, what you need to do is kind

of break things down into a series of small, daily actions.

I've been trying to set aside a little bit of time every day to focus on a daily action,

and so I've been making lists around what those actions are going to be each day as

well as I have a list of like the things that I've done so that I can kind of keep track

of that.

This practice adds a certain concreteness to the activism, so that it doesn't just feel

like nothing, it doesn't just feel too small, um it feels like a bunch of really small things

building up into something more.

And I'm also a YouTuber, which means that I can make videos like this as a form of activism.

I can voice my opinions, I can try to help spread information, I can try to connect with

other people.

This is a platform, and it might be a small platform, but it still counts.

I mean, I participated in the Project for Awesome this year with Liz, and that was just

incredible.

It felt so uplifting and empowering.

These things aren't nothing, they add up, they help to take the powerless, helpless

feelings away.

So what are your strengths?

What is your list?

Tell me about three things that you are doing or can do in order to resist.

The small things add up into a resistance.

And wherever you are in life, I hope that you're learning as much as you can.

Thanks for watching.

Kylie Jenner Calls Fans 'IDIOTS' | SHOCKING - Duration: 1:17.

Kylie Jenner faced criticism over her new wax figure.

Recently she announced that she is getting her own wax figure which will soon be displayed

in one of Madame Tussauds wax museums.

After posting the behind-the-scenes video on her Snapchat, many fans accused Kylie of

darkening her skin tone after she shared photos of the various shades of brown paint that

would be used to color her statue.

Fans accused her of darkening her skin, but Kylie didn't keep quite and replied to them

in a sarcastic way.

For Honor - Raider Hero Class - Feats, Moveset, Combat Guide and Tips - Duration: 6:24.

Hello and welcome to another for honor breakdown video, today we're gonna be looking at the

Raider hero Class.

The raider belongs to the Vikings, so naturally looks like a hulking badass of destruction.

Being a Vanguard hero, it's available without having to use steel to unlock.

Classified as being an adaptable and straightforward style of play with an easy difficulty, it's

a solid choice for a hero.

Time to check out the Raiders feats.

Every hero has four tiers of feats available to them, each tier has 3 abilities that can

either be passive or activated by the directional pad.

You will have to forgive if some of the icons display incorrectly, beta is beta after all.

Remember that feats unlock in tiers, once a tier is fully unlocked you move on to the

next.

The first tier of feats has 1 active ability and 2 passives.

The first feat is Rush, when activated it provides your hero increased movement speed

for a short time.

The 2nd feat is Tireless, a passive that causes your character to lose stamina at a lower

rate.

The 3rd and final feat in tier 1 is Body Count, a passive that allows you to gain health and

stamina when your hero kills AI soldiers.

The second tier of feats has 3 active abilities.

The 1st feat is marked of death, this allows you to target an enemy hero and mark them,

giving away their position on the map causing their attack and defence to be lowered.

The 2nd feat is Inspire, when activated this causes nearby allies to deal more damage and

soldiers to attack faster.

The 3rd and final feat in tier 2 is Bear trap, this allows you to place a trap on the ground

that when triggered, causes damage and roots the enemy in place for a short time.

The third tier of feats has 3 active abilities.

The 1st feat is second wind, when activated this allows your hero to recover a portion

of their health.

The 2nd feat is fury, this increase your sprint speed slight and greatly increases your attack

and defence whilst active.

The 3rd and final feat in tier 3 is battlecry, increasing nearby allies damage and causing

enemy soldiers to flee.

The 4th and final tier of feats has 3 active abilities.

The 1st feat is Fire flask, this allows you to select an area to throw a fire flask at,

igniting the area and causing fire damage to those in it, or that pass through the area.

The 2nd feat is the stalwart banner, this causes your hero to place a banner that allows

nearby allies to continuously regenerate health.

The 3rd and final feat is slippery, whilst active this blocks all grab attempts on your

hero.

Time to check out the Raiders hero specific traits.

Renown and revenge mode appear to be available to all classes.

Stampede charge allows the raider to charge into an enemy and push them for a distance

from sprinting, use X to control how far the push lasts.

This will either cause the opponent to be knocked down or stunned if thrown into a wall.

Controlled throw allows you greater control over your throws.

Holding and releasing x will determine the distance.

This also causes your enemy to lose stamina each time they knock into another character.

Raiders fury is an unblockable attack, used by pressing both light and heavy attack buttons

at the same time.

This can be used with any chain of attacks.

Finally, the stunning tap variation allows you to cancel any heavy attack at the start

by using a light attack that also stuns your opponent.

Time for more about the raiders combat style with examples.

The raider controls the battle by disabling foes and striking hard.

The raider has 3 attack chains Chop and poke, performed by using three light

attacks in a row.

Wild swinging, performed by using three heavy attacks in a row.

Note that the last heavy attack effects the area around you.

And winding slashes, performed by using a heavy attack, a light attack and then another

heavy attack.

When surrounded, use the light and heavy attacks to perform the zone attack raiders fury, this

is an unblockable attack.

Whilst sprinting, press the heavy attack button to perform a reaping charge.

Whilst sprinting, holding x will start the stampede charge mentioned earlier.

Remember that holding x controls the push distance.

The raiders fury attack can also be used whilst locked on by pressing both light and heavy

attack buttons.

This can be used during your standard chain attacks.

Whilst locked, press A and light attack to perform a stunning tap, don't underestimate

this move, its one of my favourites and really helps control the fight.

A lot of the raiders advanced strategies revolve around throws and stunning attacks.

Throw enemies whilst charging and immediately follow it up with a stunning tape, again another

one of my favourites.

Remember to take advantage of the environment, knocking enemies into walls stuns them, allowing

for a breather from battle or the time required to land a chain attack.

Enemies that you thrown into other enemies lose stamina, and fall to the ground, allowing

for enough time to hit them with a heavy attack.

You can dodge into a guardbreak from a decent range, allowing you to catch them off guard

and perform a throw.

It cannot be stressed enough how useful stunning tap is.

It has a fair range too so get comfortable with its distance.

An important note is that a stunned enemy is unable to parry.

,Another favourite of mine, is to use the raiders fury to cancel the end of a standard

attack chain, this give a damage increase to the attack and can catch enemies completely

by surprise.

If your opponent starts to learn to expect your raiders fury, you can feint the attack

by pressing B at its start up.

The Woodpecker Ep 128 - I'm making a dust filtering system - Duration: 17:24.

Hi, on The Woodpecker today, I'm taking care of the dust in the shop.

My workshop is covered with dust. It's everywhere.

Even on my nice shelves.

I'd like to do something about it....

I have had a patreon page for a little bit more than a year now and one of my goals is, if I have enough patronage, to buy a dust filtering system.

But with only ten patrons, by the way thank you very much to all of them, I won't be able to afford one before I get sick...

This is the reason why I looked for used, force air blower fans.

I want to put two dust filters; one on each side of the air intake, just like this.

First thing's first, I need to take some measurements and draw something.

First thing's first, I need to take some measurements and draw something.

Since I want to join the box with finger joints, I need to start by making a jig for that.

The first thing I do, is cut a square hole. Now that I have a hole, I need a key to fill it.

So I rip a piece of maple.

When I try it, it's obvious that it's too wide; I need to fix this.

Now it's perfect. I need to glue it in place.

I leave that aside to dry, taking care to make sure it's square.

While the glue dries, I cut all the sides for both boxes.

I have a lot of cuts to make, but it's not that bad after all.

Now I'm ready to finish the jig.

This is really simple; I just have to put a setup block, the same size as the router bit, beside the key and from behind, I mark where the holding screws will be.

So after drilling some pilot holes, I can screw the jig in place.

And cut two test pieces.

Humm, when I try this, I can see it's not working...

The jig moved while I screwed it the first time.

I fix this and cut another test piece.

Now it's perfect; I can cut all the sides.

It's quite simple; the first cut is done by pushing the pieces up to the key and by cutting the first finger.

Next, I lay the hole I just made on top of the key and cut another finger.

I do that until all the fingers are cut.

When I'm done, I try a dry fit.

I use this opportunity to try one blower inside.

And one filter. This will be perfect.

I use the actual filter to trace the part I need to cut.

Then I measure the right width and mark what I need to cut.

Then I can cut all the pieces.

When I'm done, I'm ready to glue it all, but I want to draw my logo on the filters, so I need to paint those piece beforehand.

But the paint is too thick to be sprayed, so I dilute it with varnish.

After a good stir, I can use the spray gun.

I spray two coats like that.

When the paint is dry, I draw my logo on the first one.

This does a very nice job; I just need to make a couple of touch ups here and there.

But this also destroys my felt pen...

I'll try to do better for the rest. I'm going to make a device to apply some pressure but also follow the unevenness of the wood

I begin by using my biggest hole saw and drilling a hole in a piece of scrap.

The hole should be the same size as the router motor; so I need to enlarge it.

Step one. Now I need to remove a small part.

That way, I'm able to clamp the piece onto the motor.

Now I need to find the size of my pen; but it's not straight.

I drill a hole anyway.

I rub the pen with wax, and put the pen in place; then I can fill the gap with epoxy.

The next day, I remove the pen.

I drill two pilot holes and, to apply some pressure on the pen, I add an elastic band.

And this is how everything will work.

Now I can draw the rest.

While it's drawing on one side, I do some touch up elsewhere.

After a while, I'm ready to begin to glue the boxes.

This is quite simple; a little bit of glue and then everything goes together.

Last thing to do, is to put clamp pressure.

To check if it's square, I use the actual filter.

I don't have enough clamps to clamp two boxes at once, so while I wait for the glue to dry, I make a base for the blower that doesn't have one.

I begin with the sides.

After drilling the mounting holes, I can measure the bottom and cut it.

Now I just need to assemble all the pieces together.

Finally both blowers have a base now, this means I can remove my clamps.

And glue the second box.

The next day, the glue is dry, but some of my fingers are less than perfect...

To fill this, I make a mix of glue and dust and push this paste into the small gaps.

While this dries, I work on the inside of the boxes.

I begin by putting a blower inside.

With it inside, I can figure where to put the wood strips under the base.

After cutting them, I mark where they should go and glue the strips in place.

I can also straighten the sides of the boxes.

I also need to mark the hole which will throw out the filtered air.

To do so, I put the blower in place and trace around the output port.

Next, I drill small holes on each corner.

Now, I can use those holes to trace the shape of the hole from the outside.

So after drilling some holes to let the jigsaw blade through, I cut those holes.

Now, I need to work on the bottom of the filter.

I begin by measuring what I need and cut thin pieces of plywood.

For the horizontal part, I glue together some finger joints I made, to help me clamp the boxes.

I don't want to waste this nice plywood; it's too expensive.

While the glue dries, I can glue some small pieces of wood to hold the bottom strips in place.

Now that my wood paste is dry, I can sand the excess.

Humm, I still have some gaps here and there.

This time I use regular wood paste; this will dry quicker.

The glue of the finger joints glue-up is now dry, I need to sand this nice.

This will look just like that; the only thing I need to do is to glue all the pieces in a L shape.

But nothing is preventing the filters from being pushed down the box; I fix that right away.

I begin by tracing where I want the filter to stop.

And glue wood strips.

Now I'm ready to finish painting the boxes.

But before that, I need to cover my nice drawings.

And like last time, I dilute the paint and spray two coats on the rest of the boxes.

When the paint is dry, I remove the masking tape and spray one coat of varnish on top of everything, even on the inside.

Now that the finish is dry, I can prepare myself for the final assembly.

I begin by marking the placement of the blowers' fixing screws and drill some pilot holes; but I don't screw them in place yet.

Then the holes for the bottom of the filters.

I also staple some screen in front of the blowers' output.

If you're asking yourself why I install some screen there, well, I sometime have birds inside the shop;

this might be cute, but it's also messy.

This one is one of the lucky ones, I opened the window to let it out.

The previous one was not that lucky; here's what's left of it...

It's not a pretty site. I know, sorry...

But it's because of Renée's killer.

Now mini pinschers will be the next breed that Montreal's mayor will ban on his territory.

But if you're asking yourself how a bird can make it inside the shop, well it's quite simple.

During the summer, there's a big gap under the front door; enough for a bird to walk inside.

But during the winter, I add this sill under the doors.

But the installation is not complete yet.

I still need some hardwood washers to screw the boxes in place.

Now I can put the filter boxes in place.

I lay the empty boxes directly on the tie beams.

Then I screw them in place.

Next, come the blowers.

And it's their turn to get screwed in place.

Next step; the electricity. I make a special extension cord for the blowers.

One plug is always hot and the other can be turned off or on with a switch; just in case I need to change my setup in the future.

Then I screw a plug at the end of the motor wires.

But I have one small problem; I have no place for a wire to go...

This is an easy fix.

Done.

But to screw the electrical boxes at the bottom of the filter, I need to add a piece of wood.

To keep the blocks in place, I spread some epoxy and nail them in place.

Then I can screw the boxes.

And try it for the first time.

Ok this is working just fine; I can install the filters now.

I begin with the back ones.

Because of the rafters, I have to put the filter before the wood bottom.

Next I can install the controller and the other bottoms.

And with this last filter, my installation is complete.

I think I can change my patreon goal now, but with such a small amount of patrons, I have a lot of time to think about my next goal.

I'm really happy with my two new filters.

They work great and because of them, you'll be able to see me, probably even for several more years, on The Woodpecker

I don't eat sweets, why do I get decay? - Duration: 0:35.

We would obviously have to consider your

diet, sweets obviously containing sugar

that will have an impact. Fizzy drinks - anything

basically that fizzes is

acidic and the presence of acid in the

mouth will weaken teeth, maybe leading

to decay.

We would also have to consider oral

hygiene, and again, if we're not removing

plaque competently then there will be a

decay risk as a result of that.

How often should I brush my teeth? - Duration: 0:22.

It's recommended that we brush our teeth

twice a day, and ideally after breakfast

in the morning and last thing at night.

Last thing at night is probably the most

important time, because during the night,

our mouths dry out, so if we remove the

plaque very well before we sleep, then

that sets us up well.

-------------------------------------------

Why should I floss? - Duration: 0:33.

Oral hygiene and prevention of tooth

decay and gum disease, is all about the

debridement or removal of plaque from

around your teeth. Whilst tooth brushing

will clean the so-called smooth surfaces

of your teeth, only flossing typically

will clean between the teeth -

although recently the use of TePe brushes, the

little bottle brushes, does very much

the same thing.

What should I do if I grind my teeth? - Duration: 0:21.

It's a good idea to visit your dentist

if you grind your teeth, and your dentist

may discuss the findings with you, and

consider constructing a night guard

or a splint - something that protects your

teeth against further damage done by

clenching.

What should I do if I have sensitive teeth? - Duration: 0:27.

It's a good idea if you have sensitive

teeth to visit your dentist, and so your

dentist can do a full checkup, and possibly

x-rays to check if there are any causes

of sensitivity, such as exposed root

surfaces or cavities. And also there are

a lot of desensitising toothpastes on the

market, that can dampen the perception

of sensitivity - that can help.

Why do my gums bleed when I brush? - Duration: 0:43.

Gums that bleed when you brush your teeth -

normally it's actually caused by the

fact that the gums are inflamed, and that

plaque is not being sufficiently removed,

on a daily basis. And when you do go

to then brush them thoroughly, the gums bleed.

So it's a good idea to visit your

dentist, and for your dentist to look

at your gum health, and to help you

change your brushing technique. Only

very occasionally, gums bleed because

of overzealous brushing. It's normally

actually insufficient brushing and

stagnant plaque causing the

inflammation that causes the bleeding.

How should I manage any pain after treatment? - Duration: 0:39.

The dentist will have explained the

possible complications that may follow

the procedure. Typically you would take a

painkiller, the same as for headache.

We like ibuprofen, which is

anti-inflammatory, which helps, but

equally paracetamol would work. If the

post-operative pain is more severe, more

acute - a combination of ibuprofen and

paracetemol taken at the same time gives a

very powerful analgesic.

Should I use an electric or manual toothbrush? - Duration: 0:48.

Modern-day electric toothbrushes have

been very well tested. There's a lot of

science behind them, and most of the

well-known brands are excellent.

There are two basic types - the

rotating head one, and there's the sort

of oscillating one. However their

role is to remove plaque - you can remove

plaque with a manual toothbrush. And

when you remove plaque, the aim is to

clean your teeth and not to overdo it

or under do it. So you can -

there is nothing to say you have to use

a manual or an electric toothbrush,

but electric toothbrushes make life

a little bit easier and they are

designed in a way that will make it

easier for you to achieve your goal.

What happens at the Oscars? | I Have a Question - Duration: 1:40.

I have a question

What are the Oscars?

The Oscars, also known as The Academy Awards were first held at Hollywood's Hotel Roosevelt in 1929.

The ceremony is to merit the best achievements of filmmaking in the past year.

It is uncertain why The Academy Awards is called The Oscars.

However a popular story was that Margaret Herrick, the Academy librarian and executive director thought the trophy figurine resembled her uncle Oscar.

The nominations are split into several categories including: BEST ACTOR, BEST ACTRESS, BEST PICTURE, BEST DIRECTOR, BEST MUSIC, BEST SCREENPLAY, BEST COSTUME, BEST VFX.

Past films to win 'Best Picture':

VLOG# 3: Soccer training in your living room? - Duration: 3:22.

Good morning everyone...

sexy

I knew I was gonna regret recording this so early in the morning

Okay, hang on, can we stop for a minute?

I'll be right back

Welcome to episode 3 of 'On the Road to the World Cup.'

I've received quite some questions from players that said they also wanted to play at a higher level

And they wanted to know how they could go about doing that

Often they say:

'I play at a small club, I don't own any fancy training materials

How can I become better?'

Well, this is a problem that I have faced as well

So today I thought I'd show you how I solved it.

So... I'm gonna get changed

And I'll show you how you can train

In and around your own living room!

Episode 3: 'Training in your living room'

Pure strength

Jumping power

(sort of)

Great gymnast guy who hangs in rings and has biceps as big as my thighs:

Core stability:

(better dance moves than the ones I have at da club)

Flexibility:

Even if you need some extra material to train, it doesn't need to be very fancy or spectacular

Me and my dad built this training ladder ourselves.

And the cones?

Hmm, I can't seem to remember where I got those..

Ball control:

(needs some more work)

Agility:

(close enough)

Added advantage of training in your own front yard

Is that you can easily practice against the best attackers in the world!

Okay, I know some of these are a little bit silly, but you get the idea.

If you don't own expensive training gear or the latest expensive cleats

That doesn't have to prevent you from becoming a better player

This was all for today, I'm gonna end with some dilEmmas

If you have a good dilEmma, don't forget to let me know on my social media

Aaaand I'll see you guys next time!

HOUDOE

As far as I'm concerned the most amazing city in the entire world

And the place where I fell in love with soccer

But, pretty soon I'm gonna travel to Malmö to watch a Champions League match

And that's incredible as well, of course

I think she's a true badass on the pitch

She really is the type of player I hope to become one day

And I think her tattoos are super cool

#fangirllife

Because I'm still waiting for the day that I can't use a single Friends-quote in my daily life

But that's mainly because I've visited their stadium

And I'm secretly dreaming of playing there one day

Coffee or tea?

BEING IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA IS HARD OKAY

Why is Dutch such a (lovely) language?

*struggling with basic verbs*

*and once more*

*i think this took about 15 takes*

*that single sentence*

What is periodontitis? - Duration: 1:03.

The main difference between gingivitis

and periodontitis, is that gingivitis

only affects the gums and it is

completely reversible. It affects all

people - if you don't clean your teeth

properly, and you have plaque and tartar on your teeth,

you will get inflammation of your gums.

Periodontitis is a more serious disease.

It also causes you to have inflammation

of your gums, but it also causes you to

lose the bone from around your teeth, and

bone loss due to gum disease is

irreversible. Once it is gone you will

never ever get it back again. So if it

continues, you can lose your teeth. It is

partially down to your genetic

susceptibility. So some people are much

more susceptible to the disease than

others. It is exacerbated by smoking,

people who have diabetes, other medical

conditions - so it is a much more general

problem, and and it is much more

difficult to treat.

Como fazer Sabonete Caseiro Com 3 Óleos - How To Make Homemade Soap With 3 Oils E65 ENG/ESP SUB - Duration: 5:11.

Today I will show you how to do this

3 oil soap

We will use coconut oil, canola oil

and olive oil. It's delicious

It is a super cool soap

And in the end, it got the perfect combination

so let's start?

We will need 240 grams (8.4 oz) of water I weighed water

113 grams (3.9 oz)of soda 99%

purity

340 grams (12 oz) of canola oil

226 grams (8 oz)of Coconut oil and 226 grams (8 oz) olive oil

All three are together in this bowl

put water inside this bowl

and I will put the soda

Always do in this order and taking care

following the safety procedures

Mix with wood or plastic spoon

to dissolve it easily

It will be transparent. I'll leave it cooling and meanwhile

I'll warm up the oils in the microwave

I'll leave in a

medium temperature of approximately

40 degrees celsius (104 F)

I've warmed the oils

I will measure temperature

the ideal would be about 40- 45 degrees celsius (104F - 113 F)

both mixtures

while they are cooling down I'll show you what

I will use today I'll use these silicone moulds

I bought a very cheap store

They are silicone

to make cakes, cookies etc.

but I bought with other intentions

I waited quite to lower the temperature

Now they are about 45 degrees Celsius (113 F)

Now I'll add the oil in

the soda mixture slowly but I

I will begin mixing with a wooden spoon

and then later I'll use the

hand mixer

Mix with mixer like a

spoon and beat with mixer again until you get the trace

I will add a few drops of

lavender essential oil ... now got to the point

always put a paper close to support

the mixer or spoon

and now we put it into molds

so for me to put in the mold

I found it easier to put in a jar

so I can fill the molds easily

It is yielding approximately 1 liter soap (1 quart of soap)

so it's been about

6 hours I did the soap

It is very hard

I will release them from the moulds

how easy is to unmold from it!

How beautiful it is!!!

I'll put here

you use this mould several times, then it is

worth it investing in them!

this is a big soap!

that looks cool looks like a cheese!

Now the mold back to normal and gives

use as many times as you want

I will cut it in half not to be too large!

It is very soft

I did it yesterday ... It is cool

look back, side, top

It is nice!

now you will have to let it cure

for about 4 to 6 weeks...

Is sparkling water bad for you? - Duration: 1:06.

Any acid in the mouth has the potential

to cause erosion, so wear on your teeth.

And erosion is an accumulative thing - so

even if you only have small amounts, if

you add that up in to days, weeks,

months, then years - then the amount of

wear on your teeth can be significant.

However we need to be careful, because it

is a mild acid, and when people talk

about carbonated drinks, when we talk

about say like colas and fruits, and

even flavoured waters, that have had

citric acid added to it, those

have PHs of about two to three - so

those are strongly acidic. Therefore

in the scheme of things, it's best if you

don't have carbonated water all the

time, maybe retain it to meals. Definitely

if you use a straw, because the less time that

any of these things are in the mouth, the

better it is for you. But I wouldn't

say you can never have carbonated

water.

What is a dental veneer? - Duration: 0:56.

A dental veneer is - it's the equivalent of

a false nail actually - that is put on

the outside surface of the tooth. And it

is made of very, very fine porcelain, and

it is bonded to the tooth, and it is

a much less destructive way, of putting a

new facing on a tooth. Traditionally we use

crowns which involves drilling the tooth

on all sides. But a veneer is just on

the outside face, and so it often doesn't

require any preparation at all, or only

minimal preparation, and then as I said

it's like a very thin false nail, it's

bonded onto the tooth, and it can

completely change the appearance of the

tooth, and bring it back to that sort of

shiny white tooth that you're looking for.

What causes bad breath? - Duration: 0:56.

The most common causes are to do with oral

bacteria. So whether it's inflammation of

your gums, with a lot of really sort of

nasty bacteria in and around. It can often

come from your tongue - some people have

quite rough surfaces to their tongue and

they retain a lot of bacteria. It can

be things like infections in your mouth,

which is rarer/ It can be like open decay -

which is also rarer. It can sometimes

be - very rarely - due to gastric reflux and

problems from the stomach. But, as I said,

it's more common orally. People who smoke

tend to have bad breath, people who drink a

lot of coffee tend to have

bad breath. So there are habits that

you can do, that can also make the

situation worse. But the fundamental

thing is your teeth need to be clean, and

that is where one would start.

What is gingivitis? - Duration: 0:42.

Gingivitis literally means 'inflammation

of the gums'. It is caused by the

bacteria in plaque, or tartar - which is just

calcified plaque - and they act as an

irritant to the gums. So the gums become

red, they bleed and become inflamed.

Gingivitis however is something that is

reversible. If you get rid of the plaque

and tartar around the teeth - be it either

through your help or through the hygienist -

and you start cleaning

properly, it can resolve as though it has

never happened before. So the good news

about gingivitis is that it is

reversible, especially in its earlier

stages.

What's the difference between a Hygienist and a Periodontist? - Duration: 0:45.

A periodontist is a dentist who has

gone on to specialise in the treatment

of gum disease, in the same way as an

orthodontist or an endodontist is a

further specialisation of a general

dental degree. As a periodontist,

you are fully trained to be able to

diagnose all forms of periodontal

disease, and to manage cases accordingly.

A hygienist is also highly skilled to

treat people with gum disease, but they

are not a dentist and often work under

the supervision of a dentist or a

periodontist.

Should I use an electric or manual toothbrush? - Duration: 0:48.

Modern-day electric toothbrushes have

been very well tested. There's a lot of

science behind them, and most of the

well-known brands are excellent.

There are two basic types - the

rotating head one, and there's the sort

of oscillating one. However their

role is to remove plaque - you can remove

plaque with a manual toothbrush. And

when you remove plaque, the aim is to

clean your teeth and not to overdo it

or under do it. So you can -

there is nothing to say you have to use

a manual or an electric toothbrush,

but electric toothbrushes make life

a little bit easier and they are

designed in a way that will make it

easier for you to achieve your goal.

Clash-A-Rama! The Series: Wiz Con! (Season Finale) - Duration: 10:44.

Oh, I love the quiet between battles.

Roy, your sculpture garden has given this barbaric village

a frisson of good taste.

Oh, well. Thanks.

There's one more,

but I'm worried the town hates it because it's big.

Young man, go make your art!

And to help speed you along, I'm going to throw you a Rage Spell!

That was a Freeze Spell. Sorry!

Let's just discuss this, when, uh... You've had a chance to thaw.

Oh, thanks for coming, everybody. I really hope you like my work.

It symbolizes the emptiness of power.

You hate it. I understand and...

You like it?

We're under attack! Take defensive positions!

Whatever happens, don't let them flame the statue!

I think we're going to be three-starred.

And that means they'll destroy everything... including your statue.

We'll have to fight harder!

We have only one hope. It's a crazy idea,

but if your art has taught me anything, it's that crazy is who we are.

Then, let's do crazy.

What... what are you doing?

We're surrendering!

Sur-ren-dering?

All that we have is now yours.

Take all our gold and elixir, but please leave our beloved statue.

Deal. Except for the last part. We're taking everything! Score!

It was a great win today!

Now, my friends, we sleep the sleep of victors!

Victor, you sleep your normal sleep.

Victory sleep!

The plan worked brilliantly!

It was art that crushed IronMaidenForever125!

Art filled with greedy Goblins.

It certainly was brilliant.

We want you to have this back. It would remind us of our foolishness.

It's an honorable gesture.

And don't be ashamed. Could have happened to anyone.

I can't believe it happened to us.

Well, let's load it up and send it back.

- Five-letter word for Archer's weapon? - Arrow!

I'm not sure. Does 'spear' work?

My dad told me a bomb never lands in the same spot twice.

No offense, but your dad was a liar.

- Pete, what happened to your eye? - Nothing, I was resting it.

Let's find a way out of here.

- Visitors! Hi! - Want to play tag?

Too bad if you don't cause you're it!

I'm waiting!

Aw, darn. We gotta go.

I think we found our way out.

It's, uh, kinda empty. Where is everyone?

Uh, this is so sad.

These two fine souls may have passed,

but memories of them shall always be alive in our hearts...

Oh, my God! It's our funeral!

You're right! Pretty good turnout.

These two Barbarians were...

pretty much like every other Barbarian...

- So true. - I thought they were me.

This funeral is totally generic!

Can you believe that?

No respect at all. We've had wonderful, monumental lives.

Just like all of these guys... who I'm not sure who they are.

Why do I even try?

Maybe we should go somewhere we're appreciated.

I'm fine! What's gonna happen to me? I'm already dead!

Hey, us too!

Ah, I wish I enjoyed my work like that.

"Just two other Barbarians..."

Hiyah! Heppa! Hissyfit!

Stay focused. Pace yourself.

When you enter the Arena, you own the Arena!

This year, I, Jaakko, will claim my spot...

as first, foremost, premier, pre-eminent, top-notch, best of show... Wizard!

Hickum-chezwadda!

Oh, damn it!

I don't approve of it either.

This is fun! Don't you think?

I'll take that as a 'yes'.

I watched you clash last month. You were awesome!

That's nice.

Thanks for stopping by.

You're pretty!

It's the nerdy ones who really scare me.

We are back to determine who's the Clash world's next top Wizard.

Will anyone dethrone last year's champion, the Ice Wizard?

Don't fight it ladies. Frost is boss!

His greatest challenger looks to be... Ernesto!

He's as handsome as he's skilled at juggling fireballs.

Or Mathius who's always perfect from the flame throw line.

Or even Drago who's never afraid to 'snow off'.

Oh, I'll never beat those guys.

There's no need to be frightened... Look at this distraction!

Oh, so good!

- He's amazing! - So much better than those others!

Good King, you should clean your ears.

My word! Why I never... What wonderful Wizardship!

I think we've found our next champion.

The Kings and the people have spoken!

Wiz-Con has crowned its Next Top Wizard!

Well, it was a very good day.

Hi-yah! Mix-tah! Will-o-wah!

Freeze Spell!

I've really got to figure that one out.

Hey, this isn't a library! You want to read, you buy!
