Youtube daily report w Feb 14 2017

WAYNE: Yeah, see, that's what I think.

I think you're a cute couple.

- Thank you, Wayne, thank you, Wayne.

WAYNE: Now I could give you each $1,000.

I can give you $1,000 each.

Or curtain number two.

You would each get it.

Thing is, curtain number two could be the same Zonk,

or it could be a candy heart.

(audience yelling suggestions)

- What if it's more?

We were risky the first time, but now maybe we should just

keep being risky.

- Listen, the money can help us go on as many dates as we can.

- Oh!

So it's $1,000 each?

WAYNE: Yes, ma'am.

- We could go on a lot of good dates.

- Yeah.

- We could start saving.

- That's right, that's right.

WAYNE: Jamar, I'm telling you, if this really does work out,

she's already picked out child clothing.

That's not even a joke.

Second date, you walk in her house, "Oh, nice house.

"Crib?

"What the...

I've just got to walk this way."

You've got to walk back out to the car.

So what do you think, cash or the curtain?

- I think we're going to take the cash.

WAYNE: What's behind curtain number two?

Here's what you didn't take.

JONATHAN: It was a trip to San Diego.

WAYNE: It's for lovers.

JONATHAN: You would have spent three nights

at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa in San Diego.

You could have relaxed with a complimentary spa massage,

gone paddleboarding on sparkling ocean waters,

and enjoyed delicious California cuisine

at the hotel's gourmet restaurant.

Luxury car service was included in this deal worth $3,302.

WAYNE: So you missed out on a deal worth over $3,000.

Now, you each have $1,000.

These are individual decisions now.

You don't have to rely on each other.

Because in a relationship, you have to be strong

separately as well.

- Uh-huh.

WAYNE: Curtain number three, or your cash?

Jamar?

- I'm going to take the cash.

WAYNE: Okay.

Rebecca?

(audience yelling suggestions)

- Ooh, three.

I'm going to do it.

I'm a risk taker.

WAYNE: Tiffany, what's behind curtain three?

JONATHAN: It's a new WaveRunner.

MSIA | John-Roger Mystery School Initiation to Awaken the Self - Duration: 2:52.

So we've had a chance to reflect quite a few days on the various temples the energy.

You start to come close to them, and the magnificence of it can overwhelm you, and it can make you

feel insignificant.

It was designed that way.

It was designed to give you the sense of humbleness, because in that, you would then open yourself

to the great cosmic Light.

And that great cosmic Light, folks, goes beyond a gasp, a cry, beyond anything and yet it

resides as you.

You can just imagine over the centuries, various aspirants from the various mystery schools,

they weren't all Egyptian mystery schools, though they were in Egypt.

Some of them were Assyrian, some were Babylonian, some were Chaldean, and some were Jewish.

And after all these centuries, as you walk through these great, tremendous statues, here

we are walking down these same corridors of time, walking a path of our own personal initiation.

This initiation has nothing to do with the sound current.

It has to do with you awakening to the self inside of you, and in those moments of sacredness,

we fly free, and we get the inspiration of the cosmic, awakening in us.

And we actually get to behold how marvelous we are.

Not only how marvelous we are, but how we're still evolving into the more marvelous thing

that we'll be.

Why Do We Eat Raw Fish But Not Raw Chicken? - Duration: 2:44.

Have you ever been snacking on some sashimi and paused to wonder: why do we eat raw fish

but not raw chicken?

Really, eating any kind of raw meat comes with some health risk to humans, depending

on how it was slaughtered, stored, and prepared.

But some are more iffy than others, because different animals have different microbes

and parasites inside them, some of which are really nasty to humans.

Fish is on the safer end of the spectrum.

It doesn't usually carry bacteria that are harmful to humans, but we do have to watch

out for parasitic worm larvae like , tapeworms, or flukes.

If you eat infected raw fish, the larvae will mature into worms that can latch onto organs

and cause some serious damage.

Sometimes fish is frozen for storage, and if it's cold enough, any parasites or bacteria

hanging around will die.

But cooking fish is the best way to make sure everything infectious is gone.

But if your sushi comes from a clean, reputable kitchen, it's probably safe to eat.

Now, what about other meats, like beef, chicken, and pork?

The bacteria that live in these animals, like strains of Salmonella and E. coli, tend to

be more dangerous to humans than any that live in fish.

Many harmful microbes live in cattle guts, not the muscle where we get cuts of steak.

But beef can be contaminated if a butcher punctures the digestive tract.

So steaks might have bacteria on the surface.

Usually a good, hot sear is enough to kill off anything infectious, and leaving the inside

red is fine, because it's sterile in there.

Ground beef is more treacherous, because any germs living on the surface of the meat get

mixed inside.

Plus, it tends to contain meat from multiple animals, so one contaminated cow means bad

news for an entire batch of ground beef.

That's why you should probably not order totally rare hamburgers -- they should be

cooked all the way through.

The meats firmly on the dangerous-when-raw list are chicken and pork, which might be

carrying even more harmful microbes than beef.

Infectious, diarrhea-causing Campylobacter

strains can live in chicken guts.

And the crowded, dirty conditions at many chicken farms mean that lots of raw chicken

may be contaminated.

Pigs, on the other hand, have historically

harbored the parasitic worm Trichinella spiralis, although modern farming practices mostly prevent

it from spreading.

The larvae form cysts inside the muscle tissue of pigs, so if you eat infected, undercooked

pork, some worms will make a home in your guts.

So sushi and rare steaks can be delicious when they're prepared safely, but you should

always pass on the pork tartare.

Thanks for asking, and thank you especially to all of our patrons on Patreon who keep these

answers coming.

Too Big To Fail? - Don't Feed Business - Duration: 0:57.

In state and national parks all across

the United States you'll

often find signs like this that say,

"Please do not feed the animals."

Because if you feed the wild

animals they lose their ability to

gather food in the wilderness and,

as a result,

they tend to be less resilient and

their survival is at risk.

Luigi Zingales is professor of

entrepreneurship and finance at the

Booth School of Business at the

University of Chicago.

I think that a similar sign should

be put in Washington to say,

"Please don't feed business."

Precisely because I love business,

I don't want business to become fat,

and unable to compete in the

global marketplace.

Smith was very suspicious of partnerships

between government and business.

That's effectively what we call

cronyism today.

'Hey Bill Nye, Is Time Real?' #TuesdaysWithBill - Duration: 4:47.

Alicia: Do you think time is real?

For example, sometimes an hour can feel very short and sometimes it can feel very long

depending on your perception.

So then is time subjective?

If it's a measurement of something what is it a measurement of?

I'd really like to know your thoughts about time.

Thank you.

Bill Nye: Alicia, that is fantastic.

Notice that in English we don't have any other word for time except time.

It's unique.

It's this wild fourth dimension in nature.

This is one dimension, this is one detention, this is one dimension and time is the fourth

dimension.

And we call it the fourth dimension not just in theoretical physics but in engineering.

I worked on four dimensional auto pilots so you tell where you want to go and what altitude

it is above sea level and then when you want to get there.

Like you can't get there at any time.

We have a whole bunch of other words.

We have appointments.

We have morning, afternoon, evening, noon time.

We have a whole bunch of words describing periods of time, but when it comes to actual

time we just have this one word it's a strange and surprising thing.

So along this line, in my opinion, which as you know is correct, I'm kidding, in my opinion

time is both subjective and objective.

What we do in science and engineering and in life, astronomy, is measure time as carefully

as we can because it's so important to our every day world.

You go to plant crops you want to know when to plant of them.

You want to know when to harvest them.

If you want to have a global positioning system that enables you to determine which side of

the street you're on from your phone you need to take into account both the traditional

passage of time that you might be familiar with watching a clock here on the earth's

surface and the passage of time as it's affected by the speed of the spacecraft and the passage

of time as it's affected by the gravity of the earth itself, both special and general

relativity.

It's astonishing.

So, we work very hard to measure time with all sorts of extraordinary clocks, but there

is no question with our brains, which are wet chemical computers, we lose track of time.

Sometimes it feels short, sometimes it feels long and it's just the nature I think of being

constrained by measuring time with our brains.

This is why we build instruments to measure time outside of ourselves externally.

But it is a great question.

And then the whole idea of science really started with this thing people used to call

natural philosophy.

And when you throw in the word philosophy for me you start asking this question like

can you know anything, let alone what time it is or how long it's been since something

happened or when something will happen in the future or whether or not it will happen

at all, these are philosophical questions.

I feel that you can get yourself pretty spun up in saying to yourself there's no way to

know anything.

Philosophically you can't know anything.

On the other hand, it seems to me we can know a great deal objectively about nature and

that includes time and it's passage.

One last thought Alicia, when I think about my grandfather he had no idea, no understanding

of relativity.

Not because he was a bad person, because no one had discovered it yet.

And so I just wonder what else it is about the nature of time or the nature of what physicists,

astrophysicists like to call space time where you talk about these four dimensions at once

X, Y, Z, and T. I cannot help but wonder there is something else undiscovered about time

and perhaps you and I will be alive, not much more time will have passed before this discovery

is made.

Carry on.

Excellent question.

Thank you.

GeekyCon and, as you do, we're playing Pokemon

Go and I'm really excited to get to

Orlando!

It is Day 1 of GeekyCon! we are all set

up in the marketplace and I am just

now wandering around - Oh, it's Claudia!

"Hi! I got a Snitchwich!" "Yay!!"

i'm actually going to take video during

this conference! That is my goal.

See you around!

Katie is cosplaying as a Fairweather

Friends snowy owl. This is really amazing!

I'm about to play a show in a bathroom with all of these fine people. Somehow, I've never done

that before! I don't know how that's possible. When you

go to a concert in a bathroom, you have to

buy a sandwich. That's the rule.

We are at Day 2 of GeekyCon! Last night

was the wizard rock concert and it was

super super fun and today I don't have a

ton of programming to do but i'm going

to be hanging out in the marketplace and

then later tonight we have the ball and

the cursed child release party which I'm

so excited for. So it's gonna be a good day!

So I am backstage at Geekystars which is the talent

competition at Geekycon and i am actually

going to emcee this event! I am hosting

and introducing everybody and I think

it's going to be really super fun! I just

met all of the contestants and they are

brilliantly talented and super sweet.

You guys are going to be so good! I'm really excited! "Thanks Mom!" [laughter]

"In just a second, we're going to have Mugglecast and Pottercast up here,

we've got a whole night of wrock and games and lots of stuff happening"

We are at the midnight release party for the script book! I am really excited,

I just performed and it was really fun

I'm wearing a very sparkly dress and Potter

puppet pals are about to be up and I just

I feel like I'm in 2007. I'm very very

happy right now.

all my friends are here. This is the best.

it is our last day at GeekyCon! we're just

basically spending today hanging out in the

marketplace and it's been such a

wonderful con. I've had an amazing time

I'm really tired. It's always really hard

to say goodbye to our friends, I want it

to last forever.

it's a wonderful wonderful place.

I accidentally stepped on this little guy

and I feel really horrible. he's not

happy with me

Aww, I'm sorry bb-8 I didn't mean to - I

didn't mean to!

PeopleSoft Page Composer - Duration: 4:00.

PeopleSoft Page Composer enables your administrators to design the content and layout of Fluid pages based on your business needs,

using a desktop, laptop or SmartPhone. You don't need to code or customize PeopleSoft application pages and the system applies your

changes in real time.

In this demonstration, we'll modify a page on a desktop system and then show you how these changes appear on a mobile device.

Before we make any changes, let's take a look at the page using a mobile device.

The page we want to change is in Approvals, so we'll tap the Approvals tile to start.

We're going to make a change to the Expense Approvals page, so we want to expand the left pane to see more details.

We're going to make a change to the Expense Approvals page, so we want to expand the left pane to see more details.

This shows you all of your pending approvals grouped by approval type. We want to take a look at the Expense Report type.

Then, to see the page we want to change, access the Expense Report that's waiting for our approval.

We want to make three changes to this page. First, we'll add a new field, labeled 'Creation Date', to the summary section.

Then we'll change the name of the 'Description' field to 'Expense Report'. And finally, we want to

highlight the name of the person submitting the report in red.

Now, let's modify the page, from a desktop, using Page Composer. Start by opening Page Composer.

Use the Search field in the left pane to find the component to edit. In this case, it's 'Approvals'.

From the search result, select the approval type you want to edit. For this demonstration, we'll select the Expense Report approval type.

Now, go to the page that needs changes. To do this, open the Header Detail page.

Now we're able to edit the page.

By default, the page is optimized for desktop displays, but, it supports different layouts for different devices.

In our case, we want to use a mobile device to view the page, so we'll expand the Toolbox section and select 'Small' form factor.

The right pane refreshes and you can see a one column layout which is appropriate for a smartphone.

Now let's add a new field, called 'Creation Date'.

After you open the list of available fields, just drag and drop the new field into the right pane.

Then enter a label for the new field. Click the Edit icon and search the Peopletools data dictionary for the label.

Here we select the label 'Created On'.

The second change to make is to change the label for the Report Description field.

In this case, the new label is too long for mobile screens. So we'll select the 'short' label type.

Our third change is to highlight the name of the person submitting the expense report in red.

Once you've finished, be sure to save your changes.

Now, let's go back to our mobile device and see what we've done.

Here, we've opened the same expense report we saw earlier.

Notice that there is a now a new field for the creation date of the expense report, the Description field appears as the Expense

Report field, and the name of the person submitting the report is highlighted in red.

Using Peoplesoft Page Composer, you can easily modify the content, layout and format of Fluid Pages based on your business

requirements, without making expensive customizations.

After Refusing Trumps Order, Starbucks Just Got TERRIBLE News Thatll Ruin Them

By Paris Swade.

Democrats shed huge crocodile tears after 109 of the 32,000 foreign passengers were

detained at U.S. airports this weekend.

The fake news media isnt covering the fact that Obama banned Iraqi refugees for six months

in 2011 and Democrats didnt say a damn thing.

Starbucks Corp CEO Howard Schultz said that the company plans to hire 10,000 refugees

over the next five years.

According to Bloomberg, Starbucks CEO Howard Schulz said that the company will hire 10,000

refugees over the next five years in response to Trump ordering a suspension of refugees

into the U.S.

Starbucks is in direct conflict with the immigration ban and will do everything possible to

support and help them to navigate through this confusing period, said Schultz.

If Starbucks decides to hire employees based on nationality that is against the law.

That violates U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission rules, according to The Gateway

Singer Songwriter Joy Villa just made everyone in America drop their jaws.

She wore a Make America Great Again dress.

She just kicked off the Grammys in a way that nobody expected.

Instead of coming out and bashing Trump, Villa came out and wore a Make America Great

Again dress.

It even says Trump on the back.

She is already getting tons of media attention, obviously.

It has only been a matter of time and liberals are already attacking Joy Angela Villa.

They are even calling for her to be killed for simply wearing something associated with

Trump

According to her website, Joy Villa is a singer songwriter whos never slowing

down.

Having lived in Hollywood, Seattle, Las Vegas, and now residing in NYC, touring extensively

since 2012 to Asia, Australia the US and Europe.

Get Unready With Me: 10 Step Korean Skincare Routine | Nighttime🌙 - Duration: 5:33.

Hi everyone! My name is Joan; Today, I'll be sharing my Updated Nightime Skincare Routine.

Before getting started, I just want to let you know that I have dry and acne prone skin.

I always start off by removing my eye makeup. I've been using the Leaders Green Tea Lip & Eye Point remover.

These are convenient wipes that gently remove all your point makeup.

Next, I use the oil cut cleansing from Troiareuke.

This is a great cleanser for anyone who doesn't want to double cleanse because this water based cleanser removes it ALL.

I pour a quarter size amount and massage it onto my face.

After that, I wet my hands and massage my face once again and THEN I wash it off.

To exfoliate, I like to use the Negoen gauze peel twice a week. This is one of my favorite ways to exfoliate because it's gentle and smells wonderful.

You can also check if your cleanser is doing its job because sometimes, foundation gets onto these pads

but as you can see, the oil cut cleansing did a great job.

Then I wash it off with lukewarm water

Afterwards, I pat my face dry instead of using a towel.

The current new trend in Korea is layering essence toners to maximise skin hydration.

At night, I start with the ACSEN TOC Toner.

ACSEN stands for ACne SENsitive and this is SUCH a gentle product that treats acne and helps with the TOC (which stands for Turn over cycle).

After this, I move on to the Troiareuke Skin Complex formula.

The blue is good for acne, green is good for sensitive skin, and yellow for brightening. Depending on the day, I choose the color OR sometimes, I like to mix and match.

I spray the product onto my hands and pat it onto my skin 5 times. I love how this step reduces redness and makes my skin feel super hydrated.

Moving on to eye cream. The innisfree orchid one is my favorite because it's moisturizing and helps prevent future wrinkles.

I like to gently apply this under my eyes and my smile lines

ACSEN Recovery Cream is probably my favorite spot treatment. It may be pricey, but I saw GREAT results with this.

Not only does this help out with acne scars, but it also heals the pitted scars as well.

I follow up with another ACSEN product

The Selemix Serum helps calm my skin and minimizes the scars. The special ingredients are all plant based which helps restore, recover, and moisturize the skin!

1 pack a day is another Korean trend I like to incorporate in my skincare routine.

I always use different sheet masks, but here I used the cosrx holy moly snail mask.

Great for acne scars and moisture

I leave it on for about 15-20 minutes and apply the leftover essence on my neck

To lock in all the goodness, I use a moisturizer. The troiareuke cell energy cream is one of my favorites.

It's very light yet an excellent cream that provides moisture and nutrients because of the rich natural ingredients.

On my lips, I use the Lineage lip sleeping mask. This keeps my lips supple and preps it for tomorrow's lipstick.

And finally, we can't forget the cosrx acne patches.

These stickers actually help calm down acne.

And that was my updated night time skincare routine!

It may be excessive, but after a long day, I love treating myself.

I'll be linking all the products in the description box if you are interested.

And I'll see you all in my next video. Bye!

Summer House: Everett Feels Trapped (Season 1, Episode 6) | Bravo - Duration: 2:23.

Our fighting has like hit new level.

I feel trapped right now.

Our fighting has like hit new level.

I feel trapped right now.

>> Okay.

>> When we first started dating,

it was fun and light hearted.

And I just think that lately we've been incapable

of having fun together.

Lindsay and I have the highest highs and

lowest lows.

I've never connected with somebody like

I have with her.

But it can't be just throwing the shield up

like every time we go out and drink.

Last weekend was ridiculous.

>> Why do you think it is that I haven't been

able to have as much fun as we did

when we first started dating?

>> You tell me.

>> Because I'm stressed out I just started a company.

I can't even plan my thirtieth birthday which

means a lot to me this year.

I have to fight for everything.

Relationships with my family I have to fight for.

>> Your family issues are never gonna go away.

Now you're starting your own job,

and that's gonna be stressful probably in perpetuity.

We're always gonna be fighting then.

You got to just like own this.

Like it's not gonna change.

>> Anytime that I ever like say something

or I'm trying to like express how I'm

feeling or what's going on inside.

Like I feel like you're dismissing me.

>> Can you give me an example?

>> For instance, you slept out last Saturday night.

It makes me extremely uncomfortable.

And I say something about it and you're like

"Well, I needed to get away from you."

First of all, let's be clear.

It was Nate that I was sleeping next to.

Woke up and I didn't even know where I was.

That's what happens in these summer houses.

>> That's what happens when you're maybe single

and you're in a summer house.

But not when you're in a relationship that you respect.

>> I'm trying to do the best I can.

If the best I can is not good enough then-

Then I don't know what to tell you.

Lately this has been a drain on me.

This can't continue like it's going.

>> You're only looking on the surface!

You're not looking deeper!

There is added stress in my life.

Setting up finances, invoicing clients,

not making a salary, putting all my savings into-

>> That's work, that's life.

>> It is life!

>> Deal with it!

>> You know what, fine.

If you want to break up, go f--- yourself!

1.14. Why We Need to Be Open-Minded and Humble - Duration: 4:39.

If we want to be in the right frame of mind to create real, lasting social change,

we have to be open-minded and humble.

Those are traits that a lot of people aspire to have, and claim to have—

but very few actually have in practice.

It isn't actually that hard to admit that we don't even know half of what

we think we know.

We're extremely feeble, finite, fallible creatures.

We adopt and cling to these crude mental shortcuts to make sense of all the dizzying complexity

of existing in this enormous universe, and this little rock with

seven and a half billion people living on it.

This is how many complicated, unique human beings are alive right now.

This is how many mental operations our brains make every single second.

This is how many atoms exist in the known universe.

Do you really think there's any combination of a few paltry words and ideas

that can do justice to all that?

The reason that open-mindedness and humility are so rare isn't because

they're hard to achieve.

Even some of the smartest people who've ever lived have had those traits.

The reason they're rare is because we live in an era when all the forces are pushing

us in the other direction, away from those traits.

Truth, knowledge, and beliefs have become a battlefield.

And we've been trained, like good soldiers, to spout the party line, to exaggerate the

benefits of our beliefs and the flaws of other beliefs, to pretend that we have all the answers.

But we don't.

Those are just battlefield tactics.

We do them because everybody does them—not because they're actually true.

Scientific research, for example, has some flaws.

Most scientists will admit that, in private.

But in a world where millions of people can't even accept the basic, overwhelming evidence

of evolution or global warming, it's easier to just pretend publicly that those flaws

don't exist.

Religions—all religions—have flaws.

Most believers, even if they agree with most of what their religion preaches,

will still have their disagreements.

But in a secularizing world, in competition with a bunch of other religions and philosophies,

most believers will pretend publicly that their religion is always right—because they

fear that if they don't, what they value about their religion will be stamped out.

I'm not saying you need to give up your beliefs.

I'm saying there's a ton of pressure on all of us to turn our beliefs into

something they're not.

We've never had seven and a half billion people alive on this planet before.

We've never had such a global, interconnected society before.

We've never had this rapid pace of social change before.

I think we can figure out how to manage it.

I really do.

But not if we stay stuck imagining we've already got it all figured out.

Not if we keep pretending our limited, fallible beliefs are infallible.

Not if we don't have the open-mindedness and humility to allow for the possibility

that the way forward may be completely different than we ever imagined.
