every time you give words to what's not

working you practice that vibration that

will turn to other things

it's such an interesting spiral when you

talk about what you don't want you set

yourself up for more of that it's just

the way law of attraction works it would

be like sane and we know that this feels

like a silly analogy but it would be

like going to the cafeteria where

there's a buffet of all kinds of things

and picking the thing you've never liked

to eat and you take it over and you eat

it and you complain about the whole time

I've never like this

I have never like this I've never like

this and every time I eat it I remember

how much I don't like it and someone

sitting with you might say don't put it

on your plate and you might say well

show off

that's easy for you to do I can't resist

putting it on my plate it keeps getting

on my plate I hated every time I eat it

tomorrow i'm going to come right back

and eat the same thing again i hate this

stuff

I just hate this stuff and sometimes we

think that you think that what our

message of allowing is is that you'll

eat it and after a while you'll start to

like it and that is not what our message

is our message is only think the

thoughts that feel good to you while you

think them and don't blame somebody else

for bringing something to you because as

you pointed out you bring it all to

yourself why was Esther at that taco

bell you said why

how'd she get there if she's so good

and there was the point because she

wanted to do something and she could and

not even to plant the sea to suggest

something she just witness got the intro

away because what she wants to

understand is mind your own business

right there was so much more momentum to

that if that woman had been standing

somewhere and it needed some money to

buy something else would have handed it

to her in a heartbeat but Esther can't

unravel her alcoholism she can't unravel

her child abuse she can't unravel her

already been stopped by the placement

she can travel the plates on the car

that were not up to date if Esther to

spend the rest of her life she couldn't

write what was going on with that woman

but she wanted to and that's the thing

that we want so many of you deliberate

creators to understand

Esther does not have to be nor do you

have to be the resource through which

all good flows to others because

everyone has their own resource everyone

has it

what you do is to the clarity of your

own example live the life that maybe

someone else can benefit by realizing

are recognizing so yesterday didn't get

involved because it would have been of

no value but she got involved enough to

show herself what happens when you get

involved with something what happens

when you shift your energy what happens

when you put yourself in a vibration of

vulnerability after felt for that woman

she stayed there long enough and got

involved with enough that she was crying

for the sake of the child in other words

how can she go to those places by now

like in my case when I see something I

go cold I was like I know where its

leading a booming I go neutral I don't

take anything personal

how can she take it personal after all

these years

come on you know it seriously it doesn't

she feel it's going somewhere she

doesn't want doesn't matter what it is

well since you've asked will tell you

because that's what I'm talking about

back to the same and doing the same

mistake how can you do the same mistake

I mean after all these years

well esters like snagglepuss know what

snagglepuss you don't snap mill exit

stage left her not pulled ahead that is

she doesn't make the same mistake twice

she thinks up new ones because she is an

expanding being because every day she's

reaching new heights because every day

there's a new vibration to discover

because every day she's asking more from

the universe every day she's fine tuning

these are fine-tuning this isn't a

mistake this is the universe yielding to

her so that she can witness what did she

have to go this far to like end up

crying they're good and she stopped at

several stages as you cheat chess stop

about early subtle stages if an active

question had not been within her in

other words she just had a very emphatic

experience with someone who she is love

for a very long time someone who she

spent a lot of time with someone that

she's exchanged a lot of conversation

with someone that she has given a lot of

money to because they were employment

with her someone that she saw as in

essence her responsibilities someone

that she really really really cared

about their upliftment and when things

sort of erupted and they went on their

way sort of shouting investor they're

all of the wrongdoing that she had done

because she got me because she had not

feather their nest as much as they

needed to be feathered after had a sort

of crises explode within her wanting

understand what is my responsibility

with other people

what is it that I'm responsible to and

so she began questioning that in those

question marks the entire universe began

yielding to her needy people suddenly

everyone around her needed something she

was asking the question what am I

supposed to do in a world where I'm

capable of helping so many people have

you I know when I'm helping them what

I'm not and so she was still in the

process of examining something where she

thought every single step of the way she

had been doing something that helped

only to discover that it didn't help it

didn't help you see and so in that sort

of aftermath of all of that

things were happening to her letting her

understand that she had earlier choices

to make

she had choices to make it's not her job

to yield to the demands of everyone who

is offering them and then after became

aware that people were not making

demands of her it's not that others were

demanding it's that she was looking for

an opportunity to yield to them they

weren't even verbalizing she could just

sense she'll buy a car from a car

salesman because he wants to sell it not

because she wants the car I need the car

tell her any of the car

don't miss the point of the important

question that you have asked here

good in other words it's much easier

it's one of the reasons that this format

has been so much value for millions of

people for so many years because Esther

is a real person living in a real-world

having really experienced and every step

of the way reaching for the alignment

that you are asking for here you see so

we're happy to bring someone like you to

this conversation was willing to drill

in and ask impertinent questions that

are really none of your business

those are the best in order to distract

a little bit from the conversation about

what's going on with you but it's the

same for everyone all the time isn't it

always the same you can tell how you

feel you can tell how you feel and so

esters decided not to be such a bleeding

heart she's decided not to be someone

who's so invested in what other people

are doing because she's finally getting

it

not all the way got it but she's finally

getting it that she does not create

their reality she creates her reality

they create their reality and when she

rendezvoused with someone she takes

seriously the fact that they have Rhonda

food she understands that there's

something as you were pointing out

powerfully and importantly and

brilliantly nobody lives anything that

they are not a vibrational match to but

that's the whole point it's not wrong

doing it

witnesses everybody not wrongdoing is

how you gain your balance

that's my thing you should never get

better at anything when the truth is

you're getting better at everything

yeah you know Elsa from a sitting there

and listening

I got a new inside it's not just finding

peace with for example something did

work out the deal didn't work out and

the people are super mad at you it's not

just finding be so you know it's not my

job

it's also finding peace of the others

looking at you and you do nothing about

it you know i mean like a finding peace

with those opinions to most of you don't

recognize the ineffectiveness and lack

of value of trying to be all things to

all people when there are so few of them

that you can handle it if only when it

becomes truly impossibly unmanageable

that most of you will back away and

understand that this is not the way it

works but we wish for you all of you not

to need it to get to such strenuous

effect we would like you to recognize

earlier on but words don't teach it's

only through life experience that you

come to know isn't it

no yeah so now we've had a really good

conversation you've come to another

place is there some more clarification

or is this subject at peace subject

piece but I have a very important

question that he could have listened

everything of God but it's a playful

question you say light its old areas

right today light there's only light

unless you cover it up with the

resistance with darkness I look into

space and darkness is all there is

unless there's couple stars shining well

have you found the source of the

darkness without darkness is everywhere

you look into space darkness is sold

areas but can you not acknowledge that

it's just absence of light that there's

not a source of darkness there's not a

big black something out there

beaming darkness its sure and there's

not a big source of evil being evil and

there's not a big source of trouble

beaming trouble yeah there's only a

stream of well-being and the only reason

that you know darkness is because you've

seen the light and the only reason that

you know trouble is because you've

experienced the goodness the reason that

you wish

wellbeing for others is because you have

experienced it if Esther were down and

out and hungry and drunk and in trouble

and in debt

she would not have had the experience

with that woman at taco bell that she

had to adjust that is sister haven't had

anything close to the experience that

she had this contrast is the value

that's what all of the new comes from

all of that you see so without the light

and without the absence of light you

couldn't focus at all

get a camera and try it mmm yeah very

good always well yeah very good

RAW FOOTAGE OF UFOS CAPTURED AT OBSERVATORY IN NORWAY.

There is nothing new to be discovered in physics now.

All that remains is more and more precise measurement. This statement was made by

Lord Kelvin in 1900 and shattered only five years later when Einstein published his paper

on special relativity.

The new theories proposed by Einstein challenged the current framework of understanding, forcing

the scientific community to open up to an alternate view of the true nature of our reality.

This serves as a great example of how things that are taken to be truth can suddenly change

to fiction.

Lord Kelvins statements bare with it the voice of paradigms past We knew that

the Earth was flat, we knew that we were the center of the universe, and we knew that a

man-made heavier than air piece of machinery could not take flight.

Through all stages of human history, intellectual authorities have pronounced their supremacy

by ridiculing or suppressing elements of reality that simply didnt fit within the framework

of accepted knowledge.

Are we really any different today?

Have we really changed our acceptance towards things that wont fit the frame?

Maybe there are concepts of our reality we have yet to understand, and if we open our

eyes maybe we will see that something significant has been overlooked. Terje Toftenes

Known as the Hessdalen Interactive Observatory, scientists at the University of Ostfold, Hessdalen,

Norway have captured and documented many strange anomalies that seem to plague the area.

Its the only official 24 hour UFO observatory in the world.

Radar and cameras have tracked and filmed numerous unexplainable phenomenon, the fastest

one recorded at 30,000 km per hour.

(Faster than any known air-craft today.)

The example you see in the video below is known as the Hessdalen phenomenon. In

September of 2007, a major survey was carried out by university scientists and students

with a number of observation instruments.

On the fourth night, the phenomenon decided to show up for them, up close.

The first UFO you see is not the one that showed up for the scientists and students

working in the field, it comes shortly after that.

The footage below is from a documentary called The Day Before Disclosure by Norwegian filmmaker

Terje Toftenes.

How necessary are walk-throughs in controlled growing spaces? - Duration: 1:44.

(upbeat acoustic guitar plays)

- Walk into the facility.

This is the opportunity as the operator

to get the big picture and it will be the smell.

It will be the sight.

It will be what you hear.

Most importantly, for most growers, it's smell.

So you can oftentimes walk into a facility.

If I had a heating pipe burst,

I could smell the coolant.

I could smell the glycol.

If a fish had died, I could smell the fish.

If the humidity was high, if things were buttoned up

too much, I could feel the humidity in the air.

These are the things that inform you as a grower

whether something is off or whether something is on.

If you have environmental controls

you can check these things all the time.

And that's great.

I've got nothing against environmental controls.

We recommend environmental controls.

A lot of them you can check from your phone now.

You can keep tabs on things, but none of them,

none of them replace your nose, your ears

and your eyes and your hands and your feet.

None of them.

There's nothing that even comes close.

So, don't think that you can just use

an environmental control system from a distance

and understand what's happening in your farm.

That is not the case.

So, you walk in.

You're hit with sounds with smells with all of these things

and if you do it often enough, once you've done it

for a couple of years, it is,

you know exactly what is happening.

You know exactly what is going on.

You know when something is wrong

almost immediately when you walk in.

That's all there is to it.

Kinematics Part 3: Projectile Motion - Duration: 7:06.

It's professor Dave, let's learn about

projectile motion.

We've learned how to use kinematic equations

to describe the motion of an object

moving horizontally, like a car, as well

as objects moving vertically, like

objects falling straight down to the

ground, but what about objects that move

in both of these directions? This type of

motion, if it involves an object that is

thrown or launched into the air, can be

referred to as a projectile motion.

Imagine a cannonball being fired at some

angle from the horizontal. It will travel

some distance up into the air before

eventually falling back down and hitting

the ground, some distance away from the

cannon, and we can use a parabola to

represent the path of this object.

The important thing to understand about

these kinds of examples is that the

horizontal motion and vertical motion of

the cannonball are completely

independent of one another.

This means we can use separate equations

to discuss the motion in each direction,

one equation that exclusively

corresponds to the x-coordinates of the

object and another that exclusively

corresponds to the y-coordinates of the

object. To drive this idea home consider

two marbles, one dropped from a

particular height and another that rolls

off of a surface at that same height

with some horizontal velocity. If these

begin falling at the same time they will

strike the ground at the same instant

because their vertical motion is

independent of any horizontal motion. The

one with horizontal velocity will cover

some distance in the X direction but it

will fall downward at the same rate as

the one that falls straight down and so

they will have identical airtimes. How

can we apply this to other real-world

examples?

well we have been throwing lots of rocks

off of cliffs lately so let's throw one

more. This time let's throw a rock at an

upward angle of 30 degrees off the

horizontal from the very edge of our

favorite 100-meter cliff and with an

initial velocity of

8.5 meters per second. Again we will ask

how long before the rock hits the ground?

and now additionally we want to know how

far away from the edge of the cliff it

will land. First things first let's make

sure we understand how these questions

relate to motion in both the x and y

direction. The time it spends in the air

only relates to Y direction behavior

because it will stop being in the air

when it hits the ground, no matter what

the horizontal velocity is, from 0 to

some huge number.

The vertical motion will be independent

of that. The distance it travels from the

edge of the cliff depends on the

horizontal velocity but also the time it

spends in the air because once it hits

the ground it can't travel any further.

And the velocity at any moment can also

be split into components. The horizontal

velocity will be the same at every

moment in this trajectory as long as we

disregard wind resistance, but the

vertical velocity will be the greatest

at the moment the rock is thrown and

then decrease until it reaches zero at

the zenith and then become increasingly

negative until it hits the ground.

This is because there is a constant

acceleration in the negative direction

due to gravity. We know we can use these

equations to answer these questions but

in order to discuss the x and y

directions

separately we have to split up this

velocity vector into x and y components.

This is pretty simple to do. We can

simply draw horizontal and vertical

vectors starting from the same point as

this one and extending precisely as far

as this one does in the X or Y direction.

These can be labeled V sub X and V sub Y

and we can think of these as being the

legs of the right triangle with the

existing vector as the hypotenuse. To

find out the magnitude of these vectors

we just do a little trig. We know that

the cosine of 30 will be equal to the

adjacent leg over the hypotenuse which

means 8.5 cosine 30 or 7.36 will be the

initial

velocity in the X direction.

We also know that the sine of 30 will be

equal to the opposite leg over the

hypotenuse so 8.5 sign 30 or 4.25

will be the initial velocity in

the y-direction. These velocities are

independent of one another, meaning that

a rock that was thrown straight up with

an initial velocity 4.25 m/s will land

on the ground at precisely the same time

as the one thrown at 8.5 meters per

second but at this 30 degree angle. That

means that if we want to figure out how

long it is in the air

this is no different than a problem with

one-dimensional vertical motion provided

that we understand that we are only

looking at the y component of this

velocity vector. So we can plug the

numbers in, -100 for the

displacement, 4.25 for initial velocity

and our usual acceleration. Putting it

into standard form and plugging into the

quadratic equation we will take the

positive result for t and say that the

rock will be in the air for 4.97 seconds.

This also makes it easy to calculate how

far the rock will travel, because we know

the horizontal velocity will be 7.36 m/s

times the 4.97 seconds that it is in the

air which leaves us about 36.6 meters

away from the edge of the cliff

So projectile motion is a little more

complicated than one-dimensional motion

but if we know how to divide any vector

into x and y components we can easily

analyze projectile motion as the

combination of two types of

one-dimensional motion. Let's check comprehension.

ELA 4: How to Give Good Feedback - Duration: 1:49.

Good feedback can be a great way to improve people's writing, but not all feedback is

created equal.

For instance, if someone gives you an essay and you glance at it, then hand it back and

say, "Looks fine"?

That's not exactly the most helpful feedback in the world.

Luckily we've got some pointers to help you improve your feedback.

Pointer number one?

Remember to think about the whole.

If someone's asking you for feedback about an assignment, that assignment probably has

a purpose.

So, think about how well the writer's work lines up with that purpose.

For example, if the assignment was to write a funny story,

and they gave you a picture that makes you wanna cry, then something probably went wrong.

Pointer two!

As you're reading, try to stay focused on the thoughts that come to you naturally, and

be sure to write them down.

For instance, maybe you stumbled at a certain part.

Note where, and try to figure out what caused the confusion.

This kind of feedback can be a great opportunity for the writer to get a good look at what

goes on inside the reader's head…

…without resorting to brain surgery.

Pointer three: it's a good idea to try to add something.

As you're reading, it might occur to you that the text could benefit from something more:

maybe another idea…

…a different example

…a nice turn of phrase

…or even a quotation from an expert.

Whatever it is, be sure to pass it along to the writer, because writing's a lot easier

when good ideas just fall into your lap.

And last but not least, pointer four!

Ask questions.

Sure, you're the one who's supposed to be giving the feedback,

sometimes asking a question as simple as: "What were you thinking here?" can really

get the gears turning…

…and the writer can come up with a solution to a problem they didn't even know existed.

And that's it!

So…how's about it?

Have any feedback for us?

…Don't hold back.

We're…brave….ish…

Social Studies 4: How Experience Shapes Opinions - Duration: 1:59.

We all know that major issues can stir up very different opinions in people.

Seriously, just check any social media platform during an election year….<shudder> Scaaaarrrry.

But where do people get these opinions?

For example, why do some parents, teachers and lawmakers believe public schools are the

best option for students…

… while others believe it's best to send kids to private school?

Well, even if they're dealing with the same facts, people can have very different opinions,

aka perspectives, on the same topic.

These differing perspectives are usually based on personal experience.

For example, two people can have different perspectives on the same restaurant.

Say Frankie and Johnny both hit up Fredo's for some Friday night Fettucine Alfredo.

Frankie waits more than thirty minutes for her food to come out...

…and when it finally arrives, she sees that the chef didn't put the sauce on the side,

as she requested.

Meanwhile, Johnny just had the best fettucine alfredo of his life.

He sends his compliments to the chef who in turn gives Johnny a free desert.

How nice!

We're usually just handed the bill…

At the end of the evening, Frankie swears she'll never visit Fredo's again, while

Johnny starts following the restaurant on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and tells

all his friends about his new favorite place.

So even though the two of them visited the same place at the same time, their two very

different experiences resulted in two very different perspectives on Fredo's.

So when you read an article, look for revealing moments when the author shares how personal

experience shaped his or her perspective.

And keep it in mind as you consider their ideas.

It might change your perspective of what you're reading…

Now if you'd excuse us, we're gonna go send our compliments to a chef…

...we want free dessert, too.

I'm a vegetarian now.

Woman:

Sir, can I help you?

You said rare, right?

Right, yeah, but it was just -- it was still sizzling, I think.

-Oh. -Yeah, that's it.

Oh, my God. That scared the [bleep] out of me.

Yeah, I'm getting vegan pancakes.

-Did you see that, like -- -I -- I did.

-Oh, my gosh. -I don't know.

That's the craziest [bleep] I've ever seen.

I'm just going to use the bathroom, maybe wash my hands.

-Okay. -Shouldn't have touched that.

True Scary Childhood Stories | The Neighbor Kids/Kidnapped - Duration: 16:55.

I'm a young female living in the Midwest. Before I get into this I think a little back

story is needed. We have always lived not really in the middle of nowhere, but in a

rural little cluster of houses directly off a less traveled highway. Roughly about 10

minutes from town and surrounded by cornfields on 3 sides and a set of VERY steep train tracks

directly behind my house with another cornfield directly behind that.

most days being the bored kids we were in the early 2000's we had nothing else to

do other than play outside. No one's parents wanted 8 other kids plus their own running

in and around their house all day so most days we climbed over the tracks and would

play in the small clearing on the other side right next to where the corn field would start.

This mainly consisted of running around with no parental supervision and swearing any time

the situation allowed, pretending to be Pokemon trainers and throwing rocks like most asshole

kids, pretending they were poke balls. Anyway, on to the story.

This was somewhere around 2003 or early 2004 so I would've been about 7-8. I don't

remember exactly what time of year it was but there was snow on the ground and it was

cold as fuck, like mom bundled you up in everything but the rug kind of cold. I had gone over

the tracks with a couple other neighborhood kids, which by the way was ridiculously hard

considering I was in 2 coats and a couple of pairs of pants and could barely bend my

limbs, and when I say these tracks were steep, I mean like you could jump off the top and

almost hit the direct bottom. I remember arguing with my mom before I left because how in the

hell was I supposed to run and play like everyone else when I looked like a marshmallow child.

Looking back I'm happy she made me dress for the weather otherwise what happened could've

been a lot worse.

We were there for about an hour throwing snowballs (and a few rocks) at each other when one of

the kids (let's call him Dillon) decides it would be so fucking fun if we took the

sled I had decided to bring and slide down the steep incline of the railroad tracks.

This, to me, was the stupidest idea, but I was already one of the least liked kids in

our group and the only reason they let me hangout with them was because my parents would

always buy me the best video game consoles and I was the first person on the block with

a Gameboy advance, so I decided against saying anything because I didn't want to be made

fun of for being a wimp.

The sides of the tracks were covered in pointy ass rocks and led directly into a small group

of trees. Bad idea. But I went along with it. I told them I couldn't go down because

I wouldn't be able to climb back up with what I was wearing, but I would push them.

They agreed and soon all of the dumbass kids, excluding myself, were flying down the side

of these tracks and narrowly missing the trees at the bottom. You know that feeling you get

as a kid when you did something your parents never actually told you not to do, but you

still knew they'd be mad if they found out? Yeah, I had a knot in the pit of my stomach

just waiting for my mom to appear and start screaming at all of us.

After a while of doing this with no one getting hurt, my nervousness started to go away and

soon I was enjoying pushing everyone else as hard as I could down the incline. I know

kids are weird. Finally after the last kid came back up we all decided to go home since

we were getting cold and it was starting to get dark. The kid I mentioned earlier, Dillon,

being the little prick he was decided that I couldn't have my sled back unless I went

down the hill at least once. Since I didn't have to climb back up after I went down I

agreed, although I really wasn't comfortable with it. In fact I was terrified, but the

need to seem cool to other kids when you're young is ridiculous and soon I was sitting

on the sled waiting for my push.

I held on to the sides of the sled until my knuckles turned white and was ready to go.

Dillon comes up behind me, put one foot on the back of the sled, and pushes me HARD by

my shoulders. Instead of shooting off down the incline like the other kids, my sled stayed

in place but I did not. No, I flew off the front and started rolling head over feet getting

jabbed and poked by the rocks coating the side of the tracks. I remember smacking the

side of my forehead near my temple on a larger rock wedged beneath a fallen tree branch and

that's the last thing I remember.

I woke up in the hospital early the next morning with a bandage wrapped over one eye and circling

to the back of my head like you would see in a war movie. My left eye socket was broken

along with multiple lacerations on my face from being cut by rocks while falling. I also

had the beginning stages of frost bite on my nose and ears.

My mom was sitting in the recliner next to me talking to my dad quietly on the phone

about pressing charges. I was later informed that after Dillon had purposely pushed me

down the side of the tracks, he told the other kids, several of whom were his brothers and

sisters, that if they told anyone he would beat them up. So, they all went home as it

got dark and left me knocked out at the bottom of the incline with a bleeding forehead and

contorted with my bare face halfway submerged in snow.

When my dad came looking for me he went to the other kids houses and eventually, after

threatening to call the police when they kept telling him different stories they admitted

Dillon had pushed me down the side of the tracks and that's where I still was. My

mom told me several years later that when my dad found me he originally thought I was

dead because my face was cold and blue and covered in blood. He ran home carrying me,

threw me in the back seat of the car, and sped the whole way to the hospital not stopping

for a single red light. When we got to the hospital they literally had to cut me out

of my multiple layers of clothing and the doctor told my mom that if I hadn't been

so well bundled I could've easily frozen to death.

I made a full recovery with only a few minor scars on the upper left side of my face. Nothing

happened to Dillon because he was only around 8 or 9 at the time and before spring came

him and his whole family moved out of the neighborhood. My parents did end up suing

his parents but we barely got enough to cover the hospital bills. So yeah, that's the

story of how I almost died for trusting some asshole kid. And if anyone was wondering I

was no longer allowed to have anything to do with ANY of the other kids in the neighborhood

again aside from the ones who weren't there. I was also never allowed to go near the train

tracks again.

I am a female and i live in a decent area, not too bad not too

good, safe but not safe if that makes sense. People could walk outside at night and early

in the morning and almost nothing would happen, almost.

quick backstory, my mom and i never had much money, she couldnt really drive me to school

because it was hard for her to wake up in the morning. so to make things easier for

her i would walk to school, i live about 1 - 1 1/2 hours away from my school so i would

wake up around 5 and leave around 530 in the morning and get to school in time to dry off

from sweat and to do early studying just in case.

judge me all you want but unless you grown up with nothing you wouldnt understand me

and my family's struggle

so now to the main story I was 16 years old, I walked to and from school for a good 2 years

since i started high school. the way i would walk to school i is kind of complicated, I

start at my house, walk through a back alley short cut, walk through a park, cross the

street, pass a doughnut shop, pass residential houses, cross the street, pass a church, walk

down a hill, walk by a liquor store, cross the street, keep walking straight pass a mortuary,

starbucks, houses, and a police station and bam there's my school.

this journey would take a good chunk of my morning but i loved the morning fresh air,

I kind of live near the ocean so i could smell a nice breeze when i got to school, see the

stars, and enjoy me time before having to socialize.

well this morning unfortunately didnt go as smooth,

so i woke up, did my normal getting ready routine putting on a black polo collar shirt,

school uniform, black knee shorts, the kind you see boys usually wearing, and knee high

thunder socks, they were my favorite a yellow, pink, and blue stripe combo with black thunder

sewn in on the sides. I also had a hello kitty messenger bag with my cell phone, psp, and

normal school work.

so I started making my way to school and passed my apartments and made my way to the alley,

all of a sudden a black car with tinted windows pulled up next to me and some guy with a panty

hose pointed a gun in my direction, i was able to see though the panty hose and i saw

how mean his eyes were, I dont remember the man that much anymore except his eyes.

so he pointed a gun in my direction and said: you, give me all the money you have.

I didnt know how to respond so i just put my hands up, looked at him and said, " i just

have a dollar on my if you want that go ahead''

he got out of the car and started to frisk me, still pointing the gun in my direction,

he then opened the back seat of his car and told me to get on my stomach, because i didnt

know what to do i just did as he asked. He then told me to interlock my fingers behind

my back so i did as he said, he then suddenly bounded my hands together and then got something

to cover my eyes.

Im not sure what exactly was over my eyes but i feel like he used the panty hose on

his face to tie my hands, its stretched out fibers dug into my arms as i laid in his back

seat.

Him: if you move or do anything, i wont hesitate to kill you

He drove for a really long time, im not sure of how long but he did stop frequently at

what i believe were stop lights. in one stop he braked so hard that i fell in between where

your feet go int he back seat. He just laughed it off and started talking to me while driving.

him: so what's your name me: ( imma just use an aliase) K F

him: so what's your age me: 16

him: what grade me: 10th

afterwards he just went quiet and an akward air just went around us, I was really confused

on why he kept asking questions, but i thought that maybe if I got to him on a human level

he would let me live. after a long time of driving i heard my phone

go off, my friends usually call me if they notice that im not around at a certain time.

they called a good 2-3 times before i didnt hear my phone go off anymore.

him: your friends? me: yeah they always call when they dont see

me at school him: why

me: why? ( i kind of laughed a bit at this) because friends care about each other, it's

human nature.

another moment of silience before he stops the car.

I heard him get out of the car and i heard alot of typical background noise, buses, cars,

people doing typical chattering. I was hoping at this point that i was in the free zone.

i heard the back door open and i suddenly felt a cold line on the back of my leg, i

heard the tearing and cutting of clothes as my butt felt the cold morning breeze. I felt

like i had tunnel hearing, I heard just scissors cutting and clothes tearing.

after he stopped tearing my clothes off he propped me up in the back seat and started

to sexually assault me. I dont know how long it was but i did blank out while it happend.

I felt him hit my head and tell me to ' get the fuck up '

I got out of the car, still naked mind you, and followed him, he said to get on my knee's

and dont look back or he will shoot. I heard the trunk open and he threw clothes at me.

him: here take these

he cut whatever he tied my hands with and started making his way back to his car.

I heard the car door close and the engine start, the heat of the car backed off and

suddenly i felt cold air.

I sat there maybe for a good 10 mins before i took off the blindfold, the morning light

hurt my eyes that it took another minute for me to comprehend that i was in a open apartment

parking garage. i looked at my hands and it was slightly cut with, you guessed it, the

fucking stocking this asshat fucking wore, next to me were clothes, i think it was a

really big sweater and small pants.

I put them on in a hurry and noped the fuck out of that garage. I ran up to the first

apartment and started knocking, no one answered, i saw across the street that there was a mail

man entering an apartment so i ran across a busy street and tried to find the mail man,

i couldnt see him so i started knocking on a random door and cried for help.

fortunatly, a man opened the door and looked at me in shock, i just told him a very hurried

story of me being kidnapped and that i need to use his phone, he told me to stay right

there and grabbed his phone. the first thing i did was to call my mom, i know it sounds

stupid but shes the only one i could think of in the moment, she heard me crying and

i told her what happened, she was mortified to hear that her daughter was abducted and

raped.

she talked to the guy for a second and he told her that he was gonna call 911, he let

me in and sat me on his couch, he offered me water and walked around his apartment.

I felt kind of bad for him becuase you dont expect to wake up to a random girl at your

door asking for help. I looked at the time and noticed that it was about 730-8 ish, this

was 8 years ago sorry im not that specific.

a couple of minutes in and funny thing, my mom got to this guy's house before the police,

seeing her, i broke down, i cried like a little bitch after the realization came in. she stayed

with me and the guy until the police came in. the typical , what did he look like, what

car did he drive, all that fun stuff, but all in all the police were really nice. they

needed to take me to a hospital to get samples to test for dna from the ass hat dude, but

before i left i whole heartily thanked the guy and followed the officers to the hospital.

the after wards of the day doesnt really matter cause police inquiries are really boring,

but i was able to stay home for the day, my mom wanted to know if i wanted to take a week

off but instead i went to school because i really wanted to be around my friends. when

i went to school everyone knew, it was a small school so rumors go around fast, the teachers

felt so bad for my mom but they tried their best to console her.

afterwards my mom started dropping me off at school, she didnt want me to walk to school

ever again after what happened, the police never found out who did it, they caught his

car on a surveillance camera but no leads unfortunately

when this happened it felt bad at first because i thought that it was my fault, but now thinking

back on it, i didnt do anything wrong this asshat thought that he could take power from

me by being a kidnapping rapist asshole, but i became stronger from this i know that may

sound weird, but friends and family do help you in your time of need.

Celebrities Offer Their Take on President Donald Trump | Splash News TV - Duration: 2:36.

[SOT: Hey Hilary, what do you think of Trump's executive order ban on Muslim countries where

he has no business relations in.

Too early on a Sunday?

Yes.]

Hilary Duff didn't have much to saw when we asked her about President Donald Trump,

but there were plenty of Hollywood celebs that didn't hold back.

[SOT: Hey Common, you think we'll be able to over this Republican administration that

seems to be bad on human rights?

I think the people showing that we really matter and we really care and that's why

you see people standing up in the airports, all over the women's march is powerful,

man we gonna keep standing up and its gonna create the change.

We see people wanna stay local level ain't with that un-American mentality.

That's why they putting a halt to that and we gonna continue to do that and we gonna

galvanize together – all of us – and make sure we got the right thing going so everybody

can get love in America.

Right?

We all deserve it, right?

Kristin Davis [SOT: I just think that right now we're

in a moment of change and chaos and I think everybody standing up is inspiring and I don't

think that we know yet and I don't want to say anything too negative because we're

all out here fighting for change.

And it makes you emotional because…?

Because I love America.

And I don't want people to think that we're not kind people.

Summer Sanders [SOT: How long until Donald Trump says you're

fired?

In a speech or something like that?

Well I think he just did, didn't he?

Did he say it?

I think he's fired somebody.

Oh, but says the quote you're fired.

I hope…

What's the over/under?

How many days do you give him until he says you're fired?

I think he already did.

I think he already did.]

But Lou Ferrigno offered an alternative point of view.

[SOT: Well you gotta remember, you know, being myself I love all people, I think I'm a

big supporter of Donald Trump and it's about protecting our country and I don't think

it's anything personal in any ways because you never know who come in the country, especially

it could be weapons of mass destruction or terrorists, so at least as they do an investigation

about it, but I still think that they should kind of be careful about immigration because

I do, I have an over flow and we need to take care of our country.]

o there you have it…

Hollywood continues to speak out.

NEW Samsung Galaxy S3 Tablets, Google's Self Driving Cars, Twitter MESSES Up l Tech News #8 - Duration: 9:16.

Hey there welcome to Brainy and welcome to a brand new episode of tech news.

The series on this channel in which I give a breakdown of some of the top tech news of

the day or week.

Keeping you informed whenever something new pops up.

So let's get into the news.

First up we have a very interesting story coming from gadgetsnow.com and it seems that

twitter has accidentally been forcing people to follow Donald trump.

Hundreds of thousands of people were forced to follow US President Donald Trump on Twitter

after a technical glitch, prompting the social networking site to apologize to users.

The new President was handed control of the @POTUS account when he took the oath of office

at Friday's inauguration.

Some users parted ways with @POTUS on the social network once it changed hands from

former president Barack Obama to Trump.

However, for reasons unexplained, they automatically re-followed the presidential account without

their permission.

Users who noticed the glitch were quick to bring it to the attention of Twitter CEO Jack

Dorsey who acknowledged "mistakes" in the process that caused users who unfollowed the

POTUS account to follow it without opting to do so.

He explained in a series of tweets that users who followed President Obama's new handle

-- @POTUS44 -- after noon on Friday were automatically set to follow the Trump-run @POTUS handle.

In addition, "some people who unfollowed @POTUS in the past were mistakenly marked to now

follow @POTUS," Dorsey said via Twitter.

"This also affected other official Administration accounts like @VP, @WhiteHouse, and @PressSec."

"We believe this affected about 560,000 people.

This was a mistake, it wasn't right, we own it, and we apologize.

No excuses," he tweeted.

Dorsey said the issue has been corrected.

So this story is actually pretty interesting and I do find it kind of strange that this

problem happened to people who unfollowed the account of the US president.

Coincidence or not it's still pretty weird that this accident happened directly in relation

to the @potus handle.

What passes through my mind is the possibility of the problem actually happening to other

users who unfollowed other accounts on twitter and may not have known this glitch happened

to them, or even the chance of twitter glitching out in the future and this same problem occurring

again.

Either way I hope twitter holds everything together to prevent this from happening again.

Moving on Samsung teases tablet for Mobile World Congress reveal.

Now the interesting thing about this story is the fact that I said in a previous video

that Samsung would not be appearing at the mobile world congress with the Samsung galaxy

s8 but it seems they have another device in mind.

Samsung just sent out invitations for its MWC press event complete with a shadowy image

of what seems to be a new slate.

The invite doesn't give away any details, but a supposed Galaxy Tab S3 did pass through

the FCC earlier today, and Korean outlet ET News claims the device will have a 9.6-inch

2048 x 1536 display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, and 4GB of RAM.

The 2015 Galaxy Tab S2 was a solid tablet with an exceptionally slim design.

It wasn't particularly cutting-edge even upon release, though, so Samsung's mainstream

tablet line is due a refresh.

The event is on February 26th at 1PM ET.

So quite interesting.

Our next story comes from theverge.com.

Mozilla is shutting down the group behind Firefox OS.

Mozilla is shutting down its "connected devices" group, which was responsible for

the failed smartphone operating system Firefox OS and, more recently, attempts to build the

OS into devices like routers, streaming boxes, and even basic computers.

CNET first reported the news, saying that "about 50 people" are being laid off from

the company.

Ari Jaaksi, who's been in charge of Mozilla's connected devices unit for a little over two

years, is also said to be leaving.

Mozilla confirmed that it was cutting positions in a statement to The Verge.

The company said it would shift its focus to researching new technologies for connected

devices and "step back from a focus on launching and scaling commercial products."

To some extent, this dissolution of Mozilla's connected devices group feels like it's

been a long time coming.

Mozilla has had no luck when it comes to mobile, and it hasn't been clear what benefits Firefox

could bring to routers and other connected devices that existing platforms couldn't

offer.

With Mozilla being controlled by a nonprofit, its ability to offer a strong alternate platform

could have had a meaningful impact on how major players in the connected devices space

decide to deal with privacy.

But Mozilla's initiative to get Firefox inside of connected devices never really got

off the ground.

It gave up on putting Firefox OS into phones back in late 2015, and began shifting over

to "exploring the IoT market" last year — making some layoffs in the process.

Whatever came of that effort never made it to the public.

For its part, Mozilla still believes it could find a role in the growing ecosystem of connected

devices.

"IoT is clearly an emerging technology space," the company says, "but it's still early."

And finally the last story also comes from theverge.com . Google's self-driving cars

just got way better at driving themselves California's Department of Motor Vehicles

released its annual autonomous vehicle disengagement report today, in which all the companies that

are actively testing self-driving cars on public roads in the Golden State disclose

the number of times that human drivers were forced to take control of their driverless

vehicles.

The biggest news to come out of this report is from Waymo, Google's new self-driving

car company, which reported a huge drop in disengagements in 2016 despite an almost equally

huge increase in the number of miles driven.

In other words, Waymo's self-driving cars are failing at a much lower rate, even as

they are driving a whole lot more miles.

The company says that since 2015, its rate of safety-related disengages has fallen from

0.8 per thousand miles to 0.2 per thousand miles in 2016.

So while Waymo increased its driving by 50 percent in the state — racking up a total

of 635,868 miles — the company's total number of reportable disengages fell from

341 in 2015 to 124.

"This four-fold improvement reflects the significant work we've been doing to make

our software and hardware more capable and mature," Dmitri Dolgov, head of self-driving

technology for Waymo, wrote in a blog post.

"And because we're creating a self-driving car that can take you from door to door, almost

all our time has been spent on complex urban or suburban streets.

This has given us valuable experience sharing the road safely with pedestrians and cyclists,

and practicing advanced maneuvers such as making unprotected left turns and traversing

multi-lane intersections."

The majority of Waymo's disengagements were the result of "software glitches," the

company says.

"Unwanted maneuvers," "perception discrepancies," and "recklessly behaving road user" also

accounted for dozens of disengagements.

There were no reports of crashes or accidents.

California requires companies that want to test autonomous vehicles on the roads to register

for an autonomous driving permit.

As part of this program, companies are also required to report their disengagement rates

to the DMV, which then makes those numbers public.

This requirement was likely a factor in Uber's refusal to obtain an autonomous permit, resulting

in the DMV revoking the ride-hail company's vehicle registration for its self-driving

cars.

Waymo is miles ahead of its competitors in public testing.

While a host of car and tech companies have been testing for many years privately, Waymo

still has the edge on real-world experience.

Also, the news of the improvements in Waymo's self-driving technology comes just as the

company plans to deploy its fleet of autonomous Chrysler Pacifica minivans, which it first

debuted at the Detroit auto show last month.

The vans will hit the road in Mountain View, CA, and Phoenix, AZ, sometime in the next

few days.

And that's just about it

for this video.

Planet Earth makes its own water from scratch deep in the mantle - Duration: 5:51.

Planet Earth makes its own water from scratch deep in the mantle

By Andy Coghlan

Our planet may be blue from the inside out.

Earths huge store of water might have originated via chemical reactions in the mantle, rather

than arriving from space through collisions with ice-rich comets.

This new water may be under such pressure that it can trigger earthquakes hundreds of

kilometres below Earths surface tremors whose origins have so far remained unexplained.

Thats the upshot of a computer simulation of reactions in Earths upper mantle between

liquid hydrogen and quartz, the most common and stable form of silica in this part of

the planet.

This is one way water can form on Earth, says team member John Tse at the University

of Saskatchewan in Canada.

We show its possible to have water forming in Earths natural environment, rather than

being of extraterrestrial origin.

The simple reaction takes place at about 1400 C and pressures 20,000 times higher than

atmospheric pressure as silica, or silicon dioxide, reacts with liquid hydrogen to form

liquid water and silicon hydride.

Deep down The latest work simulates this reaction under

various temperatures and pressures typical of the upper mantle between 40 and 400 kilometres

down.

It backs up previous work by Japanese researchers who performed and reported the reaction itself

in 2014.

We set up a computer simulation very close to their experimental conditions and simulated

the trajectory of the reaction, says Tse.

But in a surprise twist, the simulation showed that the water forms within quartz but then

cant escape and so the pressure builds up.

The hydrogen fluid diffuses through the quartz layer, but ends up forming water not

at the surface, but in the bulk of the mineral, says Tse.

We analysed the density and structure of the trapped water, and found that it is highly

pressurised.

According to the simulation, the pressure could reach as much as 200,000 atmospheres.

We observed the water to be at high pressure, which might lead to the possibility of induced

earthquakes, says Tse.

Quake trigger The quakes could be triggered as the water

finally escapes from the crystals.

However, further research is needed to quantify the amount of released water needed

for triggering deep earthquakes, says Tse.

Other researchers said it was plausible that this water caused deep quakes.

These results provide important insights into the reactions between quartz and hydrogen

at high pressures, says John Ludden, executive director of the British Geological Survey.

The formation and release of overpressured water may be a significant trigger in the

deep lithosphere for ultra-deep earthquakes, sometimes located well below the crust and

in the more rigid parts of deep continental plates.

The findings may also inform how our planet got its water to start with.

Studies over the past few years have found evidence of several oceans worth of water

locked up in rock, as far down as 1000 kilometres, questioning the assumption that water arrived

from space after Earths formation.

A study published this week, for example, based on isotopes from meteorites and Earths

mantle, also found that water is unlikely to have arrived on icy comets after Earth

formed, as has long been assumed.

Instead, all this research seems to suggest that much of our planets water may have

come from within although no one yet knows exactly how much.

Origin story As long as the supply of hydrogen can be

sustained, one can speculate that water formed from this process could be a contributor to

the origin of water during Earths early accretion, says Tse.

Water formed in the mantle can reach the surface via multiple ways, for example, carried

by magma in the form of volcanic activities.

It is possible that water is still being made this way deep inside Earth today, and the

same could be true of other planets.

The new simulation results are quite surprising because rather than hydrogen bonding into

the quartz crystal structure, it disrupts the structure completely by bonding with oxygen

and forming water-rich regions below the surface, says Lydia Hallis at the University of Glasgow,

UK.

The study highlights how the minerals that make up Earths mantle can incorporate large

amounts of water, and how Earth is probably wet in some sense all the way down to

its core.

But despite the potential for the process to have created much of Earths water, Ludden

thinks it may be small-scale and localised in comparison with the input of water from

water-rich comets, meteorites and asteroids.

I think its reasonable to assume that much of the water came in

this way, he says.

Cuba Trip: Pack the Perfect Photo Equipment - Duration: 7:06.

Hi, this is Jay P. Morgan, today on The Slanted Lens I'm gonna talk about how we pack to come

here to Cuba.

We pack very light, much lighter than I've ever packed before, so let's take a look at

what we've got.

Our business coaching class is going on every single day.

People are using those materials to change the direction of their businesses and to grow

their businesses.

So get theslantedlens.com and sign up for a business coaching class.

Once a month you get to speak with me, we'll talk about the problems that you're facing,

we have the opportunity to mentor together to help you grow your business.

So go to theslantedlens.com and sign up for it today.

So I'm here at the casa, or the house that we stayed at.

Wonderful house, wonderful host here, just had a great time, a great place to stay.

Right off the market, you hear the market going right outside of our window, which is

really fun, the market is right down the street here, it kinda packs up each evening and then

in the morning it comes back.

But anyway, I'm gonna talk about how I packed.

I brought this medium-sized bag by Vanguard.

I love this bag for a couple reasons, it's not too large, it's not too small.

I love the entry point on the side, this is a must for me when I travel.

I absolutely have to have this.

This makes it so I can flip off one shoulder, on a strap, I can put things in and it's easy

to work with.

But let's look exactly what I have in the bag and what I brought with me today.

First off, in the top pouch, I brought the most important thing that you need on a trip

like that and that is toilet paper, because one never knows a situation that one might

be in, toilet paper.

And snacks and more snacks, and even some more snacks.

And a headlamp.

I always carry a headlamp in here just in case I get in a dark situation at night and

I wanna be able to see something.

So that's what I have kind of in the top.

Now if we open this up, I brought Sony cameras on this trip, Sony only.

So in the top here I've got all my batteries and chargers, Sony batteries and chargers.

One knows when you're shooting with Sony, you need a ton of batteries and chargers.

And so in this main pouch here I have my a7R II and I brought a 24-70 Sony Lens and the

reason I brought that was only one reason and that is because Julene has a really hard

time shooting BTS and keeping it in focus.

So with that Sony lens, it's turnkey, it just focuses for her, you put the face smile recognition

on, and it just follows me around, so it makes it very easy to use.

And so that's the reason we brought that lens, and it's small and easy for her to use so

that's what we brought.

But the lens I love to shoot with most on my mount is 35 millimeter lens.

I just...I love it because it sees enough of the world and yet I can still use it as

a portrait type lens.

I absolutely love this lens.

So I brought a 35 and then I brought an 85 because I wanna be able to get in a little

tighter and more of a portrait kinda situation and it's just a little closer and I love that

lens for that reason.

I brought my Syrp Mini, with the cables in here.

I'm gonna do some portraits while we're here, some panoramic portraits and that'll be fun.

So I brought my Syrp Mini.

I brought an a7S for us to do BTS on.

Right now we're doing the BTS on the a7R II because of the 4K gives us the ability to

punch in.

But a7S with an adapter for my lenses.

I brought a CSLR strap.

I still love this strap, I've had it forever.

Reason I love it is because I throw it over my shoulder, I can leave this attached to

the camera, I can leave this around my shoulder underneath the backpack, so I'm not trying

to wrestle all this stuff apart and I can just pull the camera out, slide this out of

my pack, and then I can put it back on, put my camera back on.

I brought two of these which are PocketWizard Pluses because I wanna be able to run the

one strobe I bring, I want it off the camera and so it's just way off this camera.

I've gotta come up with a better solution for these, something smaller than this when

I'm traveling.

This is too big for what it needs to do.

And I know there's things out there, throw 'em in the comments if you have things that

you think would be a great alternate to that PocketWizard.

Although I love PocketWizards, they are so reliable.

But it'd just be nice to have something a little bit smaller.

This is the scariest thing I brought on this trip, and that is I did not bring a laptop,

I did not bring a way to download, I just brought a container here.

Everything I'm shooting is in one place, this is the one kind of flaw in my system here

that makes me really nervous, and that is I really should've brought a laptop and a

place to download these.

So there's what I've got in my camera bag that I carry on my back.

That's about 16 pounds, maybe a little less, but it's pretty heavy.

I try to unload some of that stuff when I get to the hotel where we're staying at, well,

not hotel, the Airbnbs, so just to get a little lighter if I'm gonna carry it around with

me during the day.

But now in my suitcase, I've got several things.

The 265 Carbon Fiber VEO tripod, which is lightweight, collapses, it's very small, and

it's just a great tripod.

Now I know that Vanguard is reworking this tripod, another version of that coming out.

It'll be interesting to see where that goes, but I've used this tripod a lot and I've liked

it a lot.

I carry my bracket for my Syrp Mini, so I can do the vertical panoramic views.

I carry the 600 Canon strobe, that's the only strobe or the only power I'm gonna have on

this trip.

Then I have a small stand with a bracket so I can put that 600 strobe on there, so I can

put the hot shoe on this and just a way to set it up, not have to have someone to hold

it.

Although I had my daughter the other night with me and she was just holding it, which

made it really easy.

And then last of all, I've got a sound kit for doing what we're doing right now, which

is really just a lav set from Sennheiser.

And I've got the Sony sound system now, that attaches on top of the camera, it gives me

inputs that go right in the camera and puts the sound right on the clip, and that way

I don't have to carry a zoom recorder or something extra, another piece of device.

I mean, this thing's fairly large in and of itself, but it does give me a mic option to

bring a mic sound into the camera and it also brings the lav into the camera, so I can have

two XLR inputs on it, which makes it very, very nice.

So that's what I have in there, that's basically my little sound kit.

And this all goes in my suitcase.

And that's what I carry.

Oh, the one thing I forgot, I did bring a reflector, a small 32-inch reflector that's

hiding in my suitcase too.

Doesn't seem like too much to me, but, you know, when you're hauling it around, day after

day and place to place, Julene's going, "That's too much equipment."

Every time we go out, Julene goes, "Less equipment, less equipment."

And pretty soon I'm just gonna have a camera with a lens.

So there's all the equipment that we brought with us to Cuba, between Jolene and I.

It's really set up so that Julene and I can work together, Julene doing BTS and me shooting.

So in our next segment, we're gonna talk about how we did our street photography, how we

did our formal portraits, and take a look at how we did that here in Cuba.

So keep those cameras rolling, keep on clicking.
