Canetas para desenhar no Papel Preto | by Aline Albino - Duration: 3:17.

Hi guys! What's up?

As you already know

This month of February, all my arts are going to be on black paper.

And if you don't follow me, this is the Instagram with all my arts.

This month I'm testing new materials to see which one looks better on black paper.

So today I'm going to show you,

all these pens and how they look on black paper.

Let's start with colored pencils.

I took only the lighter colors, pastel color,

which are the ones that will look better on black paper.

There is not such a vivid color on the paper, but it still goes well on black paper.

And here is the result with normal colored pencils.

And now metallic colored pencils.

I'm using scholar Faber-Castell.

And you can see that it appears much better on paper.

And as the light strikes it shines.

Now gel pens.

The only thing I advise about pen gel,

Is that it is very easy to find gel pen,

But these cheaper gel pens do not work very well on black paper,

I have tested some

And these 3 are the ones I really found work well.

Let's start with the cheapest, it's Gelly Roll da Sakura.

They are super simple, very handy and work super well and are soft.

This one is super easy to find around here

The only thing about these pens

Is that only the metallic actually works on black paper, the others don't look very good and don't give much coverage.

And finally this one from Uni-ball

It's more expensive than the others, but for now it's my favorite

It's super soft and has great coverage.

And here the results with Sakura's gel pen,

Gel Xteme,

and Uni-ball.

Next up is this Sharpie Metallic Collection,

They have only these 3 colors. Silver, bronze and gold

but it's fine for me cause they are my favorite colors.

I'm really enjoying working with them,

the coverage is great,

The only problem is that it ends up very fast

and as it is thick, you will need a gel pen to make small details.

This pen I discovered this weekend in the store,

It's from a brand of spray paint

And the result of it in paper is simply amazing.

Look how incredible.

And lastly, acrylic ink pens

I have here the most famous one that is the Posca,

And another one that is from Montana.

To use these pens you have to mix very well so the ink stays very opaque and covers the black paper well.

And you squeeze the paper to get the ink down and then write.

Posca fine point, thick and Montana.

And here are two arts I've done with these pens.

In this I have used Sharpie Bronze and Uni Posca white.

The quote I got from Instagram @LucasOPoeta

In this one I have used Posca white and Uni-ball gel gold.

The quote I got from Instagram @Dani_sincera

Have you tried any of these pens or do you know other good pen for black paper?

Let me know, leave a comment.

This month I'm doing lives there in my instagram

to show you how a draw on black paper.

So stay tunned.

That's all for today.

Big kiss and see you soon!

Northern Virginia Real Estate: 3 items you can't overlook when house hunting - Duration: 3:10.

- Hey everyone, it's Doug with the Elliott Team Realtors.

Thank you for joining us today on our video blog,

and today we're gonna talk about

what buyers should be looking for

when they're out searching for homes.

(air rushing)

So, today we're gonna talk a little bit

about what should you actually look for

when you're out with your buyer agent, looking at homes.

I know a lot of people, when they first walk into a home,

they're taken by the feeling.

It's staged beautiful, they have great furniture.

It feels good.

But a lot of people aren't looking at what I believe

is some of the most important factors.

I think the number one factor when you're purchasing a home

that you should be considering

is the resale value of that home.

If you buy the most expensive house in the neighborhood,

you're probably gonna have a tough time selling it

or getting the value back out of it.

So, don't go looking for the most expensive,

over-the-top house in the neighborhood.

Get a beautiful home that you love,

but not the most expensive one on the block.

The second thing that you wanna look for

is structural issues.

When you walk through a house,

and of course, you wanna have an inspection done.

We'll always make sure that everybody

has a proper home inspection,

and we have a separate video about just that topic.

But you do want to look for structural issues.

A good tell-tale sign is if you're walking through houses

and you notice that the tops of the doors,

the actual door frame is crooked.

If they're crooked, you may have some structural issues,

and may wanna hire a structural engineer

to come assess the property.

So that's the second one.

One of the third things,

and I like having my buyers look for the big-ticket items

that aren't maybe aesthetically appealing,

that's not making them feel like,

"wow, we love this house,"

but are very important,

because if they have to do those things quickly,

it's gonna be a large out-of-pocket expense.

Those three things that we look for

are the age of the roof,

how much life do you have in it?

Are you gonna need to change it while you own the home?

The second is the HVAC system.

The heater, the air conditioning,

and if it's a heat pump,

when was it last replaced?

How much time is left in that?

And the last is the windows.

Have the windows been upgraded?

Are you buying an older home

that still has single-pane windows?

And you're not gonna be as comfortable,

and it's not gonna be as energy-efficient,

and you're gonna end up spending several thousand dollars,

if not tens of thousand dollars,

based on the size of the home, on window replacement.

So let's look at those larger ticket items.

Let's look at the structural aspect,

and most importantly,

what's your plan when you go to sell the home?

Do you have a great home to sell back

when you move into your next one?

Thanks for joining us today,

and don't forget you have a friend in the business.

25 Best Horror Movies To Stream On Netflix Right Now - Duration: 14:20.

The only thing better than a good horror movie is twenty-five of 'em — one after the other,

until you can no longer remember a time when you weren't screaming and didn't have crippling

jump-scare anxiety.

(screaming)

From creature features to teen scream-a-thons and indie darlings, these movies are all available

on Netflix — and all guaranteed to scare your pants off.

Here are the 25 best horror movies to stream on Netflix right now.

The Wailing

The atmospheric, artful thrills of K-horror meet a tried-and-true tale of demonic possession

in 2016's The Wailing, which follows a police officer as he tries to uncover the truth about

the mysterious, violent sickness sweeping through his South Korean mountain village.

Although The Wailing is the slowest of slow burns, running a ridiculous two hours and

thirty-six minutes, director Hong-jin Na earns every second of his movie's runtime by ramping

up the tension to the perfect pitch and pacing out the scares like a pro.

The Babadook

This entry from Down Under was on everyone's lists of the best horror films of 2015, and

it's not hard to see why.

Tense, atmospheric, visually striking, and with an Oscar-worthy performance by Noah Wiseman

as the creepy kid to end all creepy kids, this story of a single mother battling an

evil storybook creature called the Babadook is high-quality nightmare material.

As far as ceiling-crawling anti-gravity monsters go, this guy is chilling.

(screaming)

The Unborn

2009 was a dry period for good, original horror fare, with the exception of The Unborn, which

has plenty to make it worth a watch: a family-centric, fetal twist on the usual possession storyline,

top-quality scares and solid production values, and a surprisingly great cast.

The Unborn asks all of the important questions.

"Do you think it's possible to be haunted by someone who was never even born?"

Not only does Oscar-nominated actor Gary Oldman turn up, but senior citizen scares like this

one will probably keep you from visiting grandma for a long, long time.

(creepy moaning)

Sinister

If you've been nostalgic for Ethan Hawke since his 1990s dreamboat days ended, you'll definitely

dig him in this grown-up role as a skeptical dad who doesn't quite believe that he's discovered

a haunted box of Super 8 reels.

Until it's too late, of course, and the scares are coming fast and furious.

Released in 2012, Sinister does a nice job of mashing up the contemporary concept of

found-footage horror with the feel of a classic haunting flick, and the "home movies" that

are central to the film's plot are genuinely creepy, from the first scene on.

The Host

Before he wowed the world with Snowpiercer, director Bong Joon-ho was the director of

the best Korean creature feature of the early aughts.

The 2006 film The Host tells the story of a hapless dad searching for his daughter,

who has been kidnapped by an acrobatic, sewer-dwelling beast with murder on its mind.

The movie is as much a Godzilla satire as it is a straightforward monster flick, and

the director's trademark slapstick moments are great tension-relievers in a very, very

taut thriller.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night

As stylish as she is deadly, the veiled vampire at the center of Ana Lily Amirpour's debut

feature film is the best kind of bad girl, and remarkably sympathetic for a person who

feasts on the blood of the living.

The pacing in this horror flick is a bit slow, but made up for by the beauty of its leading

lady and its atmospheric black-and-white world.

When blood spills in Amirpour's setting of Bad City, the splatter is downright elegant.

Housebound

This Kiwi horror comedy takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to a classic trope: instead of movie

about a haunted house, it's a movie about a haunted house arrest.

Small-time criminal Kylie is sentenced to eight months on her parents' property, which

happens to have an angry ghost in residence.

Kylie's ankle bracelet also serves as a clever answer to the question that plagues most haunted

horror films — unlike the dopey characters in other movies who inexplicably stick around

to be terrorized, the heroine of Housebound can't leave her ghost-ridden residence.

"Aren't you lucky Kylie, having all that fancy technology on your foot."

Choosing between brutal ghost death and a prison sentence was never so difficult.

Bad Milo!

"What is it?"

"You've got a thing in your butt."

Thanks to the oversaturated nature of the horror genre, Bad Milo is not the only movie

you can watch in which a murderous monster emerges from someone's tushie.

It is, however, the best of the bunch.

Sorry, Dreamcatcher.

Starring longtime comedy icon and The State veteran Ken Marino, Bad Milo tells the story

of a man who discovers that his lifelong gastrointestinal issues are the result of a demonic polyp,

which escapes from his ass to kill his enemies at will.

Despite its incredibly gross premise, the movie rises above basic bathroom horror to

be reliably entertaining — and Milo, the butt gremlin who kinda looks like the baby

from Dinosaurs, is really pretty lovable.

(adorable butt-monster noises)

Hush

The ordinary home invasion thriller gets kicked up a notch by the injection of a unique twist

in Hush: the heroine is deaf.

Low on gore and high on suspense, the 2016 film succeeds despite a limited budget and

almost no dialogue, thanks to its deliberate storytelling and creative use of sound and

silence to ramp up the tension.

Add in a stellar performance by Kate Siegel, who also co-wrote the film, and Hush is more

than worth investing the short 80 minutes it takes to watch.

Dead Snow

Gory, ghastly, and campy as hell.

In other words, Dead Snow fulfills all reasonable expectations for a horror film about zombie

Nazis rising from a snow-covered hillside to ruin a perfectly good ski vacation.

You won't get nuanced performances or subtle Hitchcockian tension from this movie; you

will, however, get all the blood-spattered action you've ever wanted.

When will people realize that remote cabins are absolutely terrible vacation spots?

Dead Silence

If you're creeped out by ventriloquist dummies, and seriously, who isn't?...

(everyone's reaction to ventriloquist dummies)

...then you'll thoroughly appreciate this movie by horror virtuoso James Wan, who delved

into dummy fare in between directing his better-known projects Saw and Insidious.

Starring True Blood's Ryan Kwanten, Dead Silence occasionally veers into cheesy territory,

but it's hard not to when your characters are battling the ghost of an evil ventriloquist.

Fortunately, its premise is unique enough, and it delivers solid scares.

We Are What We Are

In this 2013 film, the Parkers are a close-knit and reclusive family bound by a mysterious

shared religious tradition.

But rather than draw out that mystery, We Are What We Are reveals it early on and then

draws its horrors from the resulting family drama.

There's plenty of blood and guts here, too, but the American gothic flavor and subtle

character development elevate it above the average gorefest.

Cabin Fever: Patient Zero

Fans of the original Cabin Fever will like this film for the same reasons as they loved

the original.

It's gruesomely, graphically disgusting, possibly even more than its predecessors.

Centering on the origin story of the series' flesh-eating virus, and the worst bachelor

party in history, Cabin Fever: Patient Zero reveals the shocking truth.

Honeymoon

If you've been missing actress Rose Leslie since her untimely exit from Game of Thrones,

this slow burn horror flick about a honeymoon gone wrong will put her back on your TV screen.

Leslie stars opposite Harry Treadaway in a story about two newlyweds whose post-nuptial

bliss at a secluded cabin is rudely interrupted by something strange lurking in the woods.

Without spoiling anything, let's just say that the honeymoon gets real weird, real fast,

before it's officially over.

It Follows

With every classic horror trope having been done and re-done to death, it's rare to find

a movie that looks and feels like something you've never seen before.

"Wherever you are, it's somewhere, walking straight for you.

All you can do is pass it along to someone else."

But with its unique premise, slow pacing, and inventive soundtrack, It Follows is one

of the creepiest and most original horror releases in years — a particularly impressive

feat considering its small budget and use of old-school practical effects to bring the

scares.

A million-dollar CGI monster has nothing on a half-naked, toothless intruder peeing on

your kitchen floor.

Take our word for it.

The Awakening

For spooky atmospheric tension and a unique historic premise, look no further than The

Awakening.

Set in the aftermath of the First World War, this movie follows its heroine to a boarding

school with a ghost problem…or is it?

With its characters as haunted by the horrors of war as they are by any spirits on campus,

The Awakening is big on suspense, and the mystery of what kind of evil they're dealing

with persists almost all the way to the end.

V/H/S

For those with short attention spans, there's nothing better than a feature-length anthology

of mini-horror-movies—and V/H/S is among the best.

Using every available found-footage conceit, from recorded Skype calls to vacation videos,

it tells a series of scary stories that run the gamut from alien abduction to wilderness

monsters, twenty minutes at a time.

If you dig the V/H/S anthology, a pair of sequels in the same format, V/H/S/2 and V/H/S:

Viral, are also available to stream on Netflix.

Troll Hunter

Not to be confused with the original animated Netflix series Trollhunters, or even the amazing

Troll 2…

"Oh my goooooodddddddd!"

...Troll Hunter is director André Øvredal's first horror movie, so catch it while it's

still on Netflix.

Set in the remote, forested northern fjords of Norway, this found-footage mockumentary

follows a group of students as they try to catch an elusive species of giant troll on

camera, without being eaten or trampled alive in the process.

Needless to say, some of the characters are more successful in that endeavor than others.

Ravenous

In this 1999 film, a group of mid-19th-century military frontiersmen save the life of a stranger

who stumbles into their camp… who then thanks the frontiersmen by having them all for dinner.

"Man eats the flesh of another, he absorbs the other man's strength…"

(epic, cannibalistic yelling)

Cannibal hillbilly stories are a dime a dozen, but Ravenous breathes fresh life into the

trope with an awesome cast, a nifty historical angle, and some unexpectedly hilarious jokes

about the etiquette of eating your fellow man.

Tucker and Dale vs. Evil

"Come on!"

"What is going on?"

"How is he even walking right now, Tucker?"

"He looks like he's going to walk it off.

He's going to be fine."

If you're looking to scream with laughter rather than terror, it doesn't get better

than this pitch-perfect sendup of the camp slasher genre.

Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk star as a pair of backwoods BFFs who are just trying to enjoy

a relaxing vacation at their fixer-upper cabin in the mountains.

But when a group of preppy, judgmental college kids sets up camp nearby, a series of absurd

misunderstandings unleash an unstoppable tide of rage, violence, and accidental deaths-by-woodchipper.

An American Werewolf in London

The best practical special effects you'll ever see in a creature feature belong to this

classic werewolf movie from 1981.

An American Werewolf in London is as darkly funny as it is terrifying, in a dry, British

sort of way, like when the mangled spirits of the various victims of David's lunar activities

turn up to scold him for not only killing innocent Londoners, but being such an unrefined

boor about it.

"What shall I do?"

"Suicide."

They just don't make horror like this anymore… although they tried, bless their little hearts.

Don't confuse this one with the 1997 film, An American Werewolf in Paris, which was a

pile of hot garbage.

Odd Thomas

In this film based on a book by Dean Koontz, Anton Yelchin plays a small-town fry cook

and part-time vigilante psychic who uses his gifts to hunt down killers.

He runs into trouble when his town is invaded by an evil beyond anything he's seen before.

As horror flicks go, Odd Thomas is more whimsical, and occasionally sentimental, but Yelchin

is so charming in the title role that you won't miss the jump scares a bit.

Hellraiser

On its surface, Hellraiser is a cautionary tale about buying and solving puzzle boxes

from sketchy Moroccan street vendors.

But really, it's all about master of horror Clive Barker, and his first foray into the

grotesque fantasy world that would spawn close to a dozen films.

The acting won't win any awards, and the gore is over the top even for a horror film, but

Hellraiser's unique combination of demonic lore and lingering cringe shots of slimy,

torn-off people parts makes it a must-watch for anyone who claims to be serious about

horror.

The Fly

Everyone loves David Cronenberg's 1986 version of sci-fi horror story The Fly, but this version

from 1958 came first.

It's a classic science fiction film, with a cast that includes everybody's favorite

cadaverous leading man, Vincent Price.

As far as the plotline, you know the drill: mad scientist gets overambitious, has careless

lab accident, transfigures self into gruesome half-human, half-fly monstrosity.

But back in the mid-20th century, this movie was groundbreaking—and even by modern-day

standards, it goes to some shockingly dark places.

The Shining

We know you've seen The Shining, or at least the thousands of pop culture references to

it.

"No TV and no beer make Homer something something…"

"Go crazy?"

"Don't mind if I do!"

But no matter how many times you've seen it, you haven't seen it enough.

Stanley Kubrick's 1980 adaptation of Stephen King's terrifying haunted-hotel novel was

notoriously loathed by the author, but it's still a brilliant piece of filmmaking from

a master.

The Shining packs in plenty of gut-punching terror, focusing on a horrific performance

by Jack Nicholson as a man coming undone in the worst way.

In Kubrick's hands, a slow and lingering visual crawl down an empty hallway at the Overlook

Hotel is more terrifying than any jump scare.

But really, see it for the hundreds of pop culture references that will suddenly make

sense.

"Redrum Redrum!"

"Danny stop it!

Danny?"

"Trab pu kcip!"

"What have we told you about writing on the walls?

Go to your room!"

Fun Fact How Crickets hear and Giraffes don't sleep - Duration: 5:11.

Interesting animal fun facts

Do giraffes sleep?

Doesn't every animal sleep?

And Using your knees to hear?

Say what?

Stay Tuned

------ introduction-----

Hello, my name is Cassidy and with me today is Zackery.

Welcome to the Fred Wild News we are so glad to have you.

Hey!

Want to hear something strange?

What could be stranger than yesterdays episode about exploding ants?

Man do I have a surprise for you.

Ok, go head - surprise me.

I cannot wait.

Did you know that crickets can hear sounds?

And - big deal.

Don't lots of animals hear sounds?

Yes, but the cricket hears sounds through its knees.

Say what!

Are you telling me that crickets have ears on their knees?

No, not ears.

Then how do they hear sounds.

Crickets use a type of eardrum on the front of their legs -

"knees" - to feel the vibration from sounds.

The way we have an ear drum right.

They cannot hear true sounds but can feel the vibration

from the sounds that are made.

Hmmm If we had ears on our knees?

I wonder.

Now that would be interesting and weird.

Let us now go to Oasa and Ray.

Hello everyone!

Please remember to like us on Facebook,

Subscribe to us on YouTube,

and share this with friends and family.

Here is another animal fun fact.

In the wild, giraffes almost never lie down because of

vulnerability to predators.

They usually sleep standing up, sometimes sitting, and

they even give birth standing up.

When giraffes sleep, they curl their necks and sleep for

about five minutes at a time,

In fact, giraffes sleep no more than 30 minutes a day.

Wow, no wonder they move so slow.

Why do you say that?

Because they are so tired - with so little sleep and all.

So true, but I doubt that is why.

Here is another interesting animal fun fact.

The Atlantic oval squid use rainbow displays of color to

communicate with each other,

and they can achieve very intense, shimmering hues.

Though found at depths up to 60 feet, they are also seen

close to the surface at night.

It seems to be attracted to light.

They capture food with their tentacles,

and can move backwards quickly by squirting water through

a spout below their head.

You know what I would do if I saw this squid.

What would you do?

I would swim in the other direction.

Now back to Cassidy and Zackery.

We hope you enjoyed the show.

Hey cassidy, lets finish the show with a pun.

What?

What is a pun?

A pun is a joke exploiting the different possible meanings

of a word or the fact that there are words that sound alike

but have different meanings.

Ok lets try it.

How are we going to do this?

Just read the script - ok.

Here goes - Did you hear about the guy whose whole

left side was cut off?

He is all right now.

Get it!

His left side was cut off and now he is all right...

Just let it go

I just want to make sure they got it.

Just wave good-bye (wave)

What Video Games Teach Us About U.S. Anti-Establishmentarianism | Nato Thompson - Duration: 2:01.

I don't know if you've ever played video games but I play a lot of them.

And there's a certain kind of ethos that's in a lot of video games, particularly those

games like Call of Duty and the first person shooter games that it's important to pay attention

to because I feel like they really hit the spirit of the age.

Or even games like Grand Theft Auto, these are the biggest selling video games by the

way.

They're like Beyoncé of video games.

But in those games basically you're this fighter who everyone has betrayed.

Like the U.S. military betrays you, your family betrays you, everyone is out to get you, and

even your close military buddy or whoever.

The storylines are always that ultimately everyone is screwing you.

And certainly it is a safe position for a video game because it's safe across the entire

ideological spectrum.

But I also think it pinpoints a certain kind of mood of the era that antiestablishment

runs deep across so many currents and everyone's got their idea of who the man is.

You look at even like a Coca-Cola ad and they'll encourage you to go in your cubicle and throw

out your papers and get out there and just be free.

And so even like corporate America is encouraging us to fight the man.

Like you even look at like the Mac ads and they've got like it's like do you remember

those old ads and it was like the dweebish PC computer guy and then the Mac guy was like

this kind of Red Hot Chili Peppers hipster kid and he's like hey.

He's the individual; it's freedom.

But I think even then even the spirit of anti-establishment gets into the establishment.

And so just to say because these big video games like Call of Duty they're mega industries,

they're not like some scrappy antiestablishment thing.

They've got people that work on it the size of major films like Jurassic Park, big money.

But everyone's anti-establishment and certainly the mood in this country is deeply antiestablishment.

I think while true, it makes it very difficult to build things in that particular psychological

climate.

How not to name your child in Germany - Duration: 4:35.

From time to time I like to examine those amazing facts everybody knows about Germany

and ask: "But is this true?"

And for this video, I have chosen the subject of babies' names:

is it true that in Germany, there are laws about what you can and can't call your children?

The answer is no... but yes.

Which I realize is confusing, so let me explain.

In general, given names are not regulated by any actual law.

There are some relevant laws.

For example, there is a law regulating name changes on adoption,

and a law giving transsexuals the right

to change their name to something matching their preferred gender.

Apart from that, it's basically an administrative matter.

Essentially, the registrar can advise parents on names,

and has some guidelines to help.

If the registrar and the parents can't agree, it's up to a judge to decide.

The most important thing for the authorities is that the child is, in later life,

not exposed to ridicule.

For example, in 1996, a judge in Kassel told one couple

that they couldn't call their daughter "Borussia".

That's the name of a sports team.

According to the guidelines, a given name should be immediately recognisable as a given name,

and cannot normally be a surname —

although there are some surnames that are derived from given names.

But basically, the idea is that you can't call your child something like "Schmidt".

You can't give your child a name that might be religiously offensive,

and you can't give your child a name that is traditionally associated with somebody evil.

So names like "Judas" or "Darth Vader" are definitely out.

Well-known place names and brand names are taboo,

as are titles, like "Lord".

In 1963, for example, one couple was prevented from calling their daughter "Princess Anne".

It used to be that a given name had to be obviously either male or female,

but a court ruling in 2008 said that at least neutral names were perfectly acceptable.

And this is the advantage of doing it this way, rather than laying down fixed laws:

names are, after all, subject to fashion,

so you need a bit of flexibility.

There are sometimes practical considerations as well.

In theory, you can give your child as many names as you want.

But in practice, you'll probably be restricted to about five:

after all, at some point your child is going to grow up

and is going to have to start filling in official forms, like visa applications.

It's not true that you're restricted to a name that appears on an official list.

Yes, registrars do have lists of names,

but they're just recommendations.

Part of the job of the registrar is to research names,

and to warn of possible pitfalls.

For example, one couple was dissuaded from calling their daughter "Perdita".

It sounds beautiful, but the registrar pointed out that

it is, in fact, Latin for "depraved".

Of course, that was at a time when Latin was much more commonly taught in schools.

These days, who knows? It could be allowed.

Sometimes, there are really tough calls.

In 2009, a Berlin court had to consider the name "Djehad".

What made it worse was that the father, an Egyptian,

was under investigation for possible connections to terrorism.

But the court found that "Djehad" was a very common Arabic name for boys,

and you can't ban a name just because some violent fanatics have misused a religious concept

in order to justify terrorism and mass murder.

So, yes: the authorities in Germany do have ways

of regulating the names that you can give to your children.

But it's not a law.

And it's done to protect the rights of the new-born child,

who, of course, has no say in the matter,

and is stuck with whatever name is given to them.

Thanks for watching. If you enjoyed the video, why not send me a postcard? Here's the address.

Northern Hemisphere Potentially In Great Danger As Fukushima Radiation Spikes To 'Unimaginable' Leve - Duration: 10:49.

Northern Hemisphere Potentially In Great Danger As Fukushima Radiation Spikes To Unimaginable

Levels.

By Michael Snyder.

Radiation inside one of the damaged reactors at the Fukushima nuclear power facility has

reached an unimaginable level according to experts.

Because so much nuclear material from Fukushima escaped into the Pacific Ocean, there are

many scientists that believe that it was the worst environmental disaster in human history,

but most people in the general population seem to think that since the mainstream media

really doesnt talk about it anymore that everything must be under control.

Unfortunately, that is not true at all.

In fact, PBS reported just last year that it is incorrect to say that Fukushima is

under control when levels of radioactivity in the ocean indicate ongoing leaks.

And now we have just learned that the radiation level inside reactor 2 is so high that no

human could possibly survive being exposed to it.

According to the Japan Times, the level of radiation inside the containment vessel of

reactor 2 is now estimated to be 530 sieverts per hour

The radiation level in the containment vessel of reactor 2 at the crippled Fukushima No.

1 power plant has reached a maximum of 530 sieverts per hour, the highest since the triple

core meltdown in March 2011, Tokyo Electric Power Co. Holdings Inc. said.

Tepco said on Thursday that the blazing radiation reading was taken near the entrance to the

space just below the pressure vessel, which contains the reactor core.

The high figure indicates that some of the melted fuel that escaped the pressure vessel

is nearby.

It is hard to find the words to convey how serious this is.

If you were exposed to a radiation level of just 10 sieverts per hour, that would mean

almost certain death.

So 530 sieverts per hour is simply off the charts.

According to the Guardian, this recent measurement is being described by scientists as unimaginable

The recent reading, described by some experts as unimaginable, is far higher than

the previous record of 73 sieverts an hour in that part of the reactor.

A single dose of one sievert is enough to cause radiation sickness and nausea; 5 sieverts

would kill half those exposed to it within a month, and a single dose of 10 sieverts

would prove fatal within weeks.

And the really bad news is that there appears to be a 2 meter hole that was created by melted

nuclear fuel in the metal grating under the pressure vessel in the reactors primary

containment vessel.

The following comes from Bloomberg

New photographs show what may be melted nuclear fuel sitting under one of Japans wrecked

Fukushima reactors, a potential milestone in the search and retrieval of the fuel almost

six years after it was lost in one of the worst atomic disasters in history.

Tokyo Electric Power Co. Holdings Inc., Japans biggest utility, released images on Monday

showing a grate under the Fukushima Dai-Ichi No. 2 reactor covered in black residue.

The company, better known as Tepco, may send in a scorpion-like robot as soon as February

to determine the temperature and radioactivity of the residue.

If that isnt frightening enough, one Japanese news source is reporting that this melted

nuclear fuel has since come in contact with underground water flowing from the mountain

side

The melted fuel has since come in contact with underground water flowing from the mountain

side, generating radioactively contaminated water every day.

In order to dismantle the reactor, it is necessary to take out the melted fuel, but high radiation

levels inside the reactor had hampered work to locate the melted debris.

If this disaster was just limited to Japan, the entire northern hemisphere would not be

at risk.

But that is not the case.

Most of the nuclear contamination from Fukushima ended up in the Pacific Ocean, and from there

it was literally taken around the rest of the planet.

The following was reported by PBS

More than 80 percent of the radioactivity from the damaged reactors ended up in the

Pacific far more than reached the ocean from Chernobyl or Three Mile Island.

Of this, a small fraction is currently on the seafloor the rest was swept up by

the Kuroshio current, a western Pacific version of the Gulf Stream, and carried out to sea

where it mixed with (and was diluted by) the vast volume of the North Pacific.

We dont know if there is a connection, but it is extremely interesting to note that

fisheries up and down the west coast of the United States are failing because of a dramatic

decrease in fish populations.

Just check out the following excerpt from a story that was posted on January 18th

U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker today determined there are commercial fishery

failures for nine salmon and crab fisheries in Alaska, California and Washington.

In recent years, each of these fisheries experienced sudden and unexpected large decreases in fish

stock biomass or loss of access due to unusual ocean and climate conditions.

This decision enables fishing communities to seek disaster relief assistance from Congress.

Things are particularly bad up in Alaska, and biologists are stumped as to why

this could be happening

In 2016, the pink salmon harvests in Kodiak, Prince William Sounds, Chignik and lower Cook

Inlet came in woefully under forecast and stumped biologists as to why.

The estimated value of Kodiaks 2016 haul was $2.21 million, compared to a five-year

average of $14.64 million, and in Prince William Sound the ex-vessel value was $6.6 million,

far less that the $44 million five-year average.

The total state harvest was the smallest since the late 1970s.

Although state biologists werent ready to declare a cause for the poor pink salmon

performance, the Commerce Department press release attributed the disasters to unusual

ocean and climate conditions.

Further south, it was being reported last month that millions of dead sardines are washing

up on the shores of Chile.

I could go on and on with a lot more examples like this, but hopefully you get the point.

Something really strange is happening in the Pacific, and a lot of people believe that

there is a link to Fukushima.

Not too long ago, I wrote about how the elite of Silicon Valley are feverishly prepping,

but the truth is that all of us should be.

If you need some tips on how to get started, you can find my prepping book right here.

Our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and the Fukushima nuclear disaster is just

one piece of the puzzle.

But it is definitely a very important piece.

The nuclear material from Fukushima is continuously entering the food chain, and once that nuclear

material gets into our bodies it will slowly irradiate our organs for years to come.

The following is an excerpt from an absolutely outstanding opinion piece by Helen Caldicott

that was published in the Guardian

Internal radiation, on the other hand, emanates from radioactive elements which enter the

body by inhalation, ingestion, or skin absorption.

Hazardous radionuclides such as iodine-131, caesium 137, and other isotopes currently

being released in the sea and air around Fukushima bio-concentrate at each step of various food

chains (for example into algae, crustaceans, small fish, bigger fish, then humans; or soil,

grass, cows meat and milk, then humans).

After they enter the body, these elements called internal emitters migrate to

specific organs such as the thyroid, liver, bone, and brain, where they continuously irradiate

small volumes of cells with high doses of alpha, beta and/or gamma radiation, and over

many years, can induce uncontrolled cell replication that is, cancer.

Further, many of the nuclides remain radioactive in the environment for generations, and ultimately

will cause increased incidences of cancer and genetic diseases over time.

Are you starting to understand the gravity of the situation?

Sadly, this crisis is going to be with us for a very, very long time.

According to Bloomberg, they are not even going to start removing melted nuclear fuel

from these reactors until 2021, and it is being projected that the overall cleanup may

take as long as 40 years

Decommissioning the reactors will cost 8 trillion yen ($70.4 billion), according to an estimate

in December from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

Removing the fuel is one of the most important steps in a cleanup that may take as long as

40 years.

The unprecedented nature of the Fukushima disaster means that Tepco is pinning its efforts

on technology not yet invented to get the melted fuel out of the reactors.

The company aims to decide on a fuel removal procedure for the first reactor during the

fiscal year ending March 2019, and to begin removing fuel in 2021.

A lot of people that end up dying as a result of this crisis may never even know that it

was Fukushima that caused their deaths.

Personally, I am convinced that this is the greatest environmental crisis that humanity

has ever experienced, and if the latest reading from reactor 2 is any indication, things just

took a very serious turn for the worse.

HB 277: Direct-to-Consumer Food Sales - Duration: 2:09.

- Hi this is Nichelle Aiden at the Capitol

with Representative Marc Roberts to talk about

House Bill 277 about food.

Can you just explain your bill to us?

- Yeah, the bill is called Direct to Consumer Food

Modification Amendments, I think that's it.

Basically, it allows producers

to sell food and food products direct to the consumer

without regulation and inspections and licensing.

As long as that consumer is informed,

an informed end consumer,

and it's sold within the state.

- Perfect.

Are you getting any kind of opposition on this

and who doesn't like your bill?

- We are getting some opposition

similar to what we experienced last year.

The Department of Agriculture and Food, the Farm Bureau,

I'm sure some retailers, and Dairy Association,

working with some of those groups to see what we can,

where we can come out, find some middle ground.

But there's definitely some opposition there on that bill.

- Great.

Why is this issue so important to you personally?

- From a personal perspective,

I have a hard time with government

telling us what we can buy,

what types of foods we can eat,

who we can buy it from.

You know, some people say

"I think it's good that consumers have protection."

At the same time, I think there's a lot of people

that don't want the government to always be protecting us.

There's some frustration, I think,

with the industrial food system that has been developed,

and a lack of nutrient-dense foods.

People wanna buy local, they wanna buy fresh,

they wanna know who their farmer is,

where the food came from, what's in it,

how it's prepared.

They want humane treatment of animals

and different types of things.

- Great.

If you would like more information

or to contact your legislator,

just click on the link in the description below.

- Thank you!

- Thank you so much!

Trump is stronger than national polls suggest - Duration: 3:08.

Trump is stronger than national polls suggest.

By DAVID M. DRUCKER.

President Trump is still popular in core Republican strongholds, even though he has suffered a

dip in the national public opinion polls.

Trump's approval rating is 45 percent, an underwater mark previously unseen for a president

this early in his first term.

But Trump's image and his policies are holding up just fine among voters in Republican districts

and states key to the president's ability to drive his agenda through Congress, and

his party's success in 2018.

"The bad news for you and your colleagues is that writing about the national numbers

in this environment is a useless exercise," said David Carney, a veteran Republican operative

in New Hampshire who has advised presidential candidates.

"People are arguing over Super Bowl ads, the country is divided."

While his national numbers aren't good, Trump is much stronger in the states that could

decide the outcome of the midterm elections, according to Republican operatives who have

reviewed polling produced since New Year's Day.

For now, that suggests Democrats are less likely to benefit from the president's struggles

nationally than has been the case in past election cycles.

Like Trump's loss of the national popular vote, Republican operatives say the president's

high disapproval numbers are being driven by dissatisfaction with his leadership in

progressive, high-population metro centers, like Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York.

The midterm elections, however, are going to be fought on Senate battlegrounds that

include red states like Missouri and West Virginia and swing states like Ohio, Pennsylvania

and Wisconsin all won by Trump.

Missouri is a perfect example.

Trump won the state handily in November and lifted Republicans down ticket.

And yet, it's there that vulnerable senators like Claire McCaskill, a Democrat running

in a red state, need to find a way to win if Democrats are to have a shot at putting

a check on the president in the midterm.

It won't be easy for McCaskill.

A survey of 863 likely Missouri voters conducted Thursday and Friday pegged Trump's job performance

at 47 percent approve/43 percent disapprove better than the national average.

His controversial executive order "related to immigration" polled higher, at 50 percent

approve/41 percent disapprove.

The poll, by the GOP firm Remington Research, headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., had a margin

of error of 3.85 percentage points.

When the survey is broken down by major media markets, it's even more revealing, and offers

an example of what is happening nationally.

Juanita's story: An annual checkup could save your life - Duration: 2:28.

My name is Juanita Trimuel, and I'm a home healthcare worker

taking care of the sick, the elderly and the disabled.

In 2014 I had got laid off,

so I had lost my insurance coverage.

So I had to figure out how I was going to get some health insurance.

That's when I got Shaquita Patterson's phone number.

She contacted me because she knew that I had wrote her daughter for insurance

and so she signed up through me.

She said that it would be a good fit for me,

that the deductible was good.

And she got me signed up.

I told her about her premium and then I explained also about My Health Pays™ and the healthy rewards.

I said, "Hey, why don't you go get your checkup, you know?

Ambetter will pay you for getting checkups."

I said well, since I've got insurance, I'll go get my annual physical.

But when I went to have the mammogram done, they found the breast cancer in my right breast.

When somebody tells you have cancer,

the first thing that comes to your mind is a death sentence.

You know, like, well, I'm going to die.

I ain't going to be able to see my kids and grandkids and stuff grow up.

It was a scary feeling.

But the surgery went real well.

They said well, we think we got all of it.

We did the biopsy and everything looked cancer-free.

So, that was good news.

They caught it in time. And, I feel like Ambetter offering those healthy rewards was a lifesaver.

It saved my life because I didn't know I had the cancer.

It was caught early and could afford the surgery and the health insurance.

That's why I'm sitting here looking like I hadn't been through anything,

because of Ambetter Health.

we are trying to make about half of the content we produce video-based.

Now, that seems like a lofty goal, and we've got a few things we're going to put

in place to help us with that, but first, I want to share a few stats with you about

video. So, according to the Fire Brand Group, 85% of marketers have seen positive

ROI from video. So if you're looking at video, there's great evidence here that

it's got a good return on investment. A couple of other stats for you,

YouTube reports mobile video consumption increases 100% every year.

Ninety two percent of mobile video consumers share video

with others, so video is a great way to get shares and engagement

organically. And one third of all online activity is spent watching video.

So, those stats probably give you an idea of why we're so excited about video and

have committed to it for 2017. But video can be daunting. A lot of times it's the

idea of where do I start? How do I come up with an idea for a video?

And then also understanding I don't want my video to just be static or noise.

I know I've got to create something dynamic to have it stand out.

Well, one of the ways we do that is with user stories. Now, user stories are a part

of agile marketing. There's lots of great information on agile marketing.

There's books, all kinds of resources where you can read about that, but the

specific part that will help you with video is a user story.

Now, a user story is this, "As a blank, I want blank, so that blank." So, when

you're filling in the blanks for a user story, you try to solve one issue or help

someone get a better understanding of one thing. You don't go too deep and try to

do too much with your video, you're just trying to help them with that one thing.

So, let's take a couple of examples, look at a couple of examples of a good user

story. So, let's say you're a business that provides a product or a service to a

healthcare organization, you might look at it this way, "As a patient experienced

professional, I want telephone processes that will help me make a good first

impression." Or perhaps you are a health care provider, and you want to come up

with a user story for a patient, you might look at this way,

"As a first time expecting mother, I want to know what to expect in

the first few weeks after birth so that I can give my baby the best start."

And those are a couple of user stories that will really get you in the mindset of

producing that quality video. Video is generally going to fall into a couple of

categories, so let's take a look at some types of video, and then you could figure

out how to apply your user story to one of these types of video.

First would be like a brand or a hero video. This is very promotional in nature.

It's highlighting your product. It's highlighting your company.

You've seen those kinds of videos, and they can work very well.

Another one of our favorites is a testimonial. Testimonials are a great,

great way to have someone else tell your company story. Always very effective and

generally come across well and are received very well. You might also look at

some type of event, so if you're doing a fundraiser or something in the community,

that's a great way to highlight your organization and solve one of those user

stories. And speaking of user stories, you might look at a specific feature of your

product or service. That's a great way to find that one issue that a user might be

dealing with and work to solve it. Perhaps your company's got some news coverage,

or there's news in your industry, and you can offer up an opinion on it.

That could be a great way to produce a video and solve a user story,

and the last would be maybe an aftercare video. So something where you address

something and help someone after they've already purchased your product or service.

So, there's a couple of types of videos you can produce. One of the keys to that,

and you're going to want to think about this when you're developing a user story,

is your buyer persona. And if you haven't researched personas yet or got into that,

you can download a really handy tool kit from our website on developing buyer

personas for healthcare. I tell you what, if you would, share some of these videos

you're creating with us. We'd love to take a look at them and let others know about

them as well. So, happy shooting in 2017.

Jeep Wrangler Off Camber Fabrications by MBRP Spare Tire Bracket Kit (1997-2006 TJ) Review & Install - Duration: 5:06.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Off Camber

Fabrications by MBRP Spare Tire Bracket Kit, fitting all 1997 to 2006 TJs.

Today we're gonna talk through the installation of this kit which is a very simple one out

of three wrenches.

This is designed to bolt directly on to your TJ in under an hour.

But we'll talk more about the install in just a second.

We're also gonna talk through the construction and a few of the features of this bracket.

This is for those of you who wanna be able to run a 35-inch tire in the factory spare

tire mount location.

You may know that if you try to mount a 35 on your factory location on the tailgate,

you will have a clearance issue between your bumper and your tire which won't allow you

to properly close the tailgate.

What this bracket does is move the mounting location up and out a little bit which will

allow you to mount a wheel and tire that is wider with less backspacing and is also larger.

This kit also comes with a couple of brackets to move your third brake light up over that

new larger spare tire.

Now, mounting a large, heavy spare in the factory location does have a couple of different

issues.

This one will fix your physical space issue.

You won't have the clearance issue with your bumper anymore and you will be able to mount,

again, a wide spare that has a low backspacing wheel.

However, this is not addressing the weight issue of that larger spare.

You still have a lot of weight on your factory tailgate hinges and you still have a lot of

weight on your factory spare tire mount which isn't designed to carry more than your factory

spare.

So those weight issues are still present.

In fact, by using a bracket like this which pushes everything away from the mounting point

of that factory spare, you're actually causing some additional leverage which can make the

issues caused by the additional weight even worse.

So I would recommend this if you need a fairly inexpensive short-term fix to be able to still

have a full-size spare on your TJ.

However, for a long-term solution, I would recommend either going with a bumper-mounted

tire carrier or a tub-mounted tire carrier that changes the factory tailgate hinges and

gives you a much beefier mount.

Overall, this is a really well-built bracket.

This is going to be a heavy gauge steel that is laser cut and MIG welded.

It comes with all of the hardware that you need to get it bolted up, as we mentioned

before, not just the bracket but also these brackets which allow you to reposition your

third brake light so it's still visible.

This does come with the heavy gauge studs already pressed into it making install very

easy.

And, it will bolt directly on to your Jeep.

So it is a very well-built piece.

However, no matter how well-built this is, it still is going to cause the same issues

that I mentioned before by creating additional leverage and not taking care of the additional

weight of a big, heavy spare.

To get this installed on your Jeep is a very simple one out of three wrench installation

in under an hour.

All you need to do is remove your factory spare tire, then you can unbolt your factory

third brake light and install these two brackets which will raise that third brake light so

it can be visible over a 35-inch tire.

Finally, you'll install your spare tire bracket on your factory spare tire bracket using the

factory lugs and lug nuts, and then install your new larger spare tire on your new bracket

using the included hardware.

Again, under an hour, just some traditional hand tools, very easy bolt-on installation.

I would only recommend this bracket for short-term use, so I think that the $40 price tag is

a fair one.

If you do need to run a full-size spare, if you really feel like you have to have a full-size

spare but you don't have the budget for a tub-mounted or a bumper-mounted tire carrier

just yet, this is going to be a fairly inexpensive and well-built solution in the meantime.

Again, I would not recommend running this for an extended period of time and this is

not going to be a $40 solution that takes place of a $200, $300, $400, or $500 bumper

tire carrier combination or a tub-mounted tire carrier.

If you're looking for an inexpensive, well-built, and easy to install short-term solution to

allow you to run a larger, heavier 35-inch spare tire in the factory spare tire mounting

location on your TJ, this is going to be an excellent option for you.

However, it's important to remember that this is not a permanent fix.

This is a short-term solution.

That's my review of the Off Camber Fabrications by MBRP Spare Tire Bracket Kit, fitting all

1997 to 2006 TJs that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone - [PV] "Leia" (Romaji/English Subs) - Duration: 3:15.

Let me hear your voice

Getting rid of this sunken heart

I'm hiding away

The canvas of falseness

Again today

It feels like I have touched

The endless illusion

"What should I call it"

The unchanging temperature

Before the smile

Chews up my insides

I locked up today

My racing future is ash colored

If I wish for it, it's just my imagination

Rust-covered lies

If it comes true

Tell me about it

Adorning the loveliness

Overflowed from my heart

I piled it with your voice

Bliss is far away

If it's something with shape

If it's something breaking down

These eyes are useless

Hold me

When the ticking stops

This world will end

Words that can only wish

Couldn't have meaning

Smile a little

Pray a little

If it isn't heard

Just kill me

Let me hear your voice

Please get rid of this sunken heart

I'm going to hide

The canvas of falseness with you

If I can't leave the evidence

For your and my existence

Engrave me with warmth

And kill me

St. Silouan - Why are there no longer spiritual fathers? - Duration: 4:04.

His Grace was recalling this question: "why are there no longer spiritual fathers?"

Saint Silouan answered such a question saying:

"because there are no longer good obedients..."

In Russian, "obedient" is also the word for disciple or novice...

So... because there are no longer good novices...

For many years I failed to understand this word...

but eventually, through the words of Father Sophrony,

putting two and two together, I understood...

The good apprentice, the good obedient, is the man whose mind leans toward God

and who seeks a response from God, not from people

and who may turn to man because we can't even reach God as Cain did...

and so we turn to man... but when you turn to man,

you must go with your attention towards God,

with Whom you must have talked before then,

praying that the man - your spiritual father - would give you the word.

Take care of your inner self

and, as Father Sophrony says, take hold of - seize, I'd say - the first word.

Father Sophrony says:

"If you can capture the heart's first movement, that's the word for you."

It's a mystery, not a discipline.

Discipline will also play a part, but it is the mystery that needs to work.

And then I dared to say to you:

Learn how to receive the first word from spiritual fathers, from those over you, from priests and bishops.

But before that, you are the ground on which this word is sown.

Prepare the ground!

And, if you believe in God, as we say in the Creed,

and if you pray and ask God

the one to whom you turn may be a spiritual father

such as those about whom His Holiness said with regret that there are not many left today...

or he could be a toddler

- please forgive me for calling anyone a toddler; it is of myself that I am speaking -

but, if you do this, for you that man will be a prophet.

But now take care

that you are aware that it is God who gives you the word through him,

honor him, of course, but do not make him an idol

by asking of him without prayer, without contact with God,

rather remain in contact with God.

I have sometimes said that a spiritual father is like a telephone;

you don't talk to the telephone but to someone on the other end.

In the same way we must be talking with God through the spiritual father

We honor the spiritual father,

But if we make of him an idol, we are no longer honoring him correctly;

we are actually dishonoring him...
