Knoebels is a humble amusement park and resort located in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, USA.

Not only is the resort family-owned and operated, but is advertised as America's largest free-admission

park.

Guests can enter the Knoebels grounds, and utilise a whole host of services, free of charge.

Because of this factor, as well as the old age of the park, Knoebel's is well established

in the memories of many American families.

The exact history of the park starts many decades ago.

Knoebels officially opened to the public as an amusement park on the 4th of July 1926.

However, the area the park is situated in, a valley previously known as "Peggy's Farm",

had been regularly visited as a tourist attraction for years before.

The scenic location in which Knoebels lies was a popular picnic destination for many

in the early 1900s.

As the number of visitors to the area increased, the Knoebels' family began offering refreshments

and services to the guests.

After several years, the area became known as "Knoebels Grove".

As of now, the park is home to over 60 different attractions, ranging from thrilling roller

coasters, to family orientated flat rides.

Because the resort is free to enter, each ride has a specific pay per ride cost depending

on its size and scale.

Unlimited-access wristbands are also available to those wanting to ride most of the park's

attractions, including its roller coasters.

Knoebels' gained its first roller coaster in 1955, with the name, High Speed Thrill Coaster.

This unique small scale ride can no longer be found at the resort, but paved the way

for future larger additions.

The parks second roller coaster came in the form of Jet Star, a Schwarzkopf Jet Star roller

coaster, which can also no longer be found at the resort.

However, less than a decade after the construction of Jet Star, Knoebels debuted their first

wooden coaster, which still operates today.

The ride, Phoenix, is a relocated PTC roller coaster featuring a classic out and back layout.

Despite its modest height, the ride offers large amounts of airtime, causing it to be

highly ranked among american roller coaster enthusiasts.

Similar to many other theme parks during the late 1900s, Knoebels installed a Vekoma sit

down roller coaster, consisting of the iconic double corkscrew layout.

Named Whirlwind, the ride was also relocated from another park, and can not longer be found

at the resort today.

Besides roller coasters, Knoebels Amusement Resort is home to a whole list of classic

and historic flat rides.

Some favourites include Whipper, a nostalgic whip ride which pins guests to their seats

as they navigate a sharp turn; Flyer, widely considered the best larson Flying Scooter

in the world, and the Grand Carousel, one of only a few Brass Ring Carousels left in operation.

Many of the flat rides at Knoebels give off a carnival feel, due to their retro nature

and non-permanent looks.

The park as a whole still very much retains its old school and classic nature to this day.

To continue the development of the park into the late 90s, Knoebels began the construction

of Twister, a second wooden roller coaster.

Interestingly enough, this attraction was built entirely in-house, by the park themselves.

Naturally, the ride features a very twisted layout which heavily relies on turns and sudden drops.

Unfortunately, it was 10 years later when the park would see another addition in the

form of a roller coaster.

Knoebels introduced Kozmo's Kurves in 2009, to replace the park's former children's coaster.

Since the start of the last decade, the park has undergone a period of rapid expansion.

In 2011, Knoebels opened Black Diamond to the public, a heavily themed roller coaster experience.

The attraction is arguably more dark ride than roller coaster, but still features quick

drops throughout it's interesting storyline.

Black Diamond is themed to the haunted coal mines of Pennsylvania, as it takes guests

through a tour of the mines in the hopes of avoiding the ghosts within.

Alongside the construction of Black Diamond, and even Kozmo's Kurves, Knoebels was attempting

to open a modern version of the wooden bobsled roller coasters found during the early 1900s.

The ride, named Flying Turns, began development in 2007.

After numerous issues to the ride vehicles and systems, Flying Turns finally opened to

the public 7 years later, in October of 2013.

The roller coaster has quickly become and icon for the park, not only for it's one

of a kind nature, but for knoebels persistence in opening their inhouse built attraction.

Following the opening of Flying Turns, Knoebels saw the return of a steel thrill coaster to the park.

Named Impulse, the ride is a compact roller coaster manufactured by Zierer.

It features a vertical chain lift hill, as well as multiple inversions.

Besides large scale thrill coasters, the park is home to a multitude of transport rides

and attractions, including two train services, as well as a relaxing chairlift.

All three attractions offer picturesque views of the surrounding countryside and wildlife.

Throughout Knoebels vast existence, they have experienced their fair share of ups and downs.

Unfortunately, due to the location of the park, the resort often floods as a result

of extreme weather.

This causes the entire park to close for several days to allow for major repairs to take place

on the various affected rides.

However, several of the attractions at Knoebels amusement park and resort are loved by many.

The Haunted Mansion, for example, opened in 1973 and has been recognised as a fantastic

haunted house ever since.

The park has also been awarded the Golden Ticket Award for best food on multiple occasions,

as they offer a variety of options, at an affordable price.

Some of these food locations can be recognized by their iconic look, as many are shaped as

item being sold, such as lemons, apples, and bread.

Though Knoebels doesn't boast the world's tallest or fastest attractions, the park continues

to attract new and old visitors alike due to it's fantastic charm and consistent reputation

of family fun at an affordable price.

The entire resort is an ideal getaway location that can satisfy every member of the family.

It's time for show-off Sunday, where everyone has a chance to show off their

own car, and here's this week's winner!

Welcome to Jurassic Park

this is my Jurassic Park Jeep, I'm going to show you around, so this is a Jeep

Wrangler 1999 TJ, which I decided to do in the style of the Jurassic Park jeeps,

it has a standard 4 litre petrol engine, hopefully one day soon I will be

swapping it out for something a bit more powerful, the standard four liter

petrol engine is not fast at all, I doubt it could even outrun a T-Rex, now I know

this Jeep is far from the movie accurate, but I still get a lot of fun out of it

nonetheless,

and inside the Jeep, I have a lot of replica props from the film, such as the

park map, the Velociraptor containment sign, a can for smuggling dinosaur

embryos and the yellow raincoat just in case it rains, which here in England

it does, a lot, and what Jurassic Park adventure would be complete without a

shirtless Jeff Goldblum, well guys, I hope you enjoyed the video, and I want to

As somebody who who gives advice to people, what is the one piece of advice

that you want everybody that you think is important for everybody listening to

this show right now to hear? Totally. A lot of people try to try at every

cost to avoid failure and when you try to do that you end up actually failing.

Because you're trying to avoid which means that you're trying to go for

perfection and in the youtube sense that's probably gonna probably just give

you, take you a lot longer to start growing a channel because every video

has to be perfect cuz you don't want that to fail and everything has to go

exactly right because you want everything to go so perfect and I'm just

gonna tell you right now that that is the slowest way to get it anything. You

know that's the stuff that I I tell my guys for dating advice is like they want

every single approach to go perfect. They're so scared to go and say hi to a

girl because you know they're afraid of rejection and failure and embarrassment.

It's like it is inevitable. You're gonna put out videos that are gonna suck.

You're going to get rejected by a girl. You're going to try to cook that perfect

steak and you're gonna burn it. It's not gonna be medium-rare so stop trying to

avoid failure and start doing, stop analyzing too much and just in the

specific YouTube sense whatever video you're gonna put out tomorrow, one year

from now you're gonna be like oh my god I can't believe I did that. And then

that's gonna keep on happening.

So you're always gonna be growing,

always gonna be getting better and so don't look at anything like oh I passed

or I failed but just look at it as you're constantly growing and trying to

get better. I am five hundred thousand subscribers so I'm probably ahead of a

lot of people here but I am still in growth mindset. I still make mistakes. I

still screw up. I still have videos that bomb and I'm still trying to do better

and better and better and trying to...I'm basically in competition with myself.

But friendly, I'm not being too hard on myself and trying to you know put myself

down for anything I did in the past but just keep moving forward and try to be

better and not think about whether something is a failure or not.

So take that word out of your vocabulary and keep trying to put out the best that you can

and keep growing. Fantastic advice yeah yeah thank you thanks again thanks for

carefully it's not just about YouTube the advice was about how to be able to

look at failure in any instance now here's the deal I'm very realistic I

watch these motivational videos myself and when I watch them I feel very

inspired but then you know what happens that inspiration that motivation fades

within about five to ten minutes and I'm already off doing something else so

that's why I wanted to continue this video and give you the practical steps

so you can know what to do with this inspiration and know how to take it from

here so here's what I want you to do the next time you hear a piece of advice

especially in dating advice whether it's from me or any other YouTube videos any

other channels what I want you to do is I want you to write it down with a pen

or pencil and write it down on paper okay so am I talking about putting notes

on your phone but really writing it down because this is gonna help you absorb

the information okay so write down the first piece of information in a device

that connects with you don't just write it down because it sounds good what is

what do you hear and it has something practical something you can do like a

technique or a way of talking to women or attracting women or flirting with

them and whatever it is that you're like oh wow I connected that I get that I

understand that I can do that I want you to write that down okay so that's step

one step two is going and implementing that now for a lot of guys they feel

very unorganized with that they're like no but I have to learn this person I

have to do this person in order to be able to do that I gotta learn you know

this steps before that in order to flirt like I don't know how to continue a

conversation you need to put this into practice and that is what this whole

motivational video is all about is about getting you off of your butt and putting

this into raucous and so that's what I want you to

do okay step three is coming back and seeing how you did most likely you're

gonna implement that advice and it's probably not gonna work that well

because you are doing this as a newbie you're trying something new for the very

first time know that that's okay that is supposed to happen and if it goes well

hey that's great move on to the next step and then the next step is trying

that piece of advice again okay so for example they give you some sort of

opener to use go and try that if it works great

rinse and repeat and find another piece of advice and then do that if it doesn't

work so well and I want you to try it again try it again until you get it

right this is the process of becoming good at something and that's what you

want to do with dating advice or pretty much anything that you ever want to

learn now some guys feel that they can't do anything because the first thing that

they need to do is learn how to get over the fear of approaching and talking to

women I'm gonna put a link in the description down below that's gonna help

you with that approach anxiety because that will be the first thing you'll have

to work on and that would be the advice you'll have to take before you move on

to other advice so don't worry I got you right there I want this motivational

video not to be this motivational but to actually help you I want you to go

outside I want you to do something about I want you to take this video and use it

as the stepping stone to being able to be successful in this area with women

Once you've been hurt, it can be tough to open yourself up to the idea of loving someone

again.

But, as terrifying as dating and the vulnerabilities that come with it may seem, it can also be

a lot of fun!

Hey ladies, Amy North here, and today I'm going to teach you how to love dating again.

This means it doesn't matter if you've been through the dating hell before, once

you put these tips to use you'll feel like a new woman, ready to meet and mingle with

all kinds of new men.

1.

Let Go Of the Past

If you're not a fan of dating, it's probably for a reason.

And I'm willing to bet that the reason has to do with crappy experiences in the past.

As tough as it can be to forget about those unpleasant encounters, it's important you

do.

If you forever hold onto the idea that dating sucks or worry about getting hurt, then you're

never going to be able to properly open yourself up to new experiences and meet potentially

great guys.

Obviously this is easier said than done, and it makes sense why you'd have your guard

up in this situation.

But, if you're carrying around your baggage with you it's going to be hard to make room

for any new romantic interests.

Don't let old wounds get in the way of new love.

Be Open to New Ideas

Let's say you meet a man and the two of you seem to be hitting it off.

You have quite a bit in common, and the conversation is flowing naturally.

Then he pops the question: Will you go on a date with him.

At this point, one part of you is really excited about the opportunity, but the other part

is nervous about putting yourself out there again, and feeling uncertain about what it

is that he wants to do with you.

If you're looking to love dating again, then it's important that you're open to

new ideas and experiences.

Here's the thing: every man admires and wants to be with a woman who is carefree and

goes with the flow.

This means that when the opportunity to go out with a guy you're into arises, you should

always say yes – regardless of whatever it is he's proposing.

So, whether it's a picnic lunch or or ziplining through trees, be open to trying new things.

Not only will you discover new things to love, but really, what's the worse that could

happen?

3.

Don't Take it Too Seriously

Dating is meant to be fun, so it's important that you take your guard down and let loose.

By embracing a playful mindset you'll not only enjoy dating more, but it'll also make

you much more attractive to men.

Since dating is simply a matter of two people getting together, you shouldn't feel uncomfortable

or pressured while spending time together – and if you do, well, you're doing it

all wrong.

Sure it's normal to have first date jitters, but instead of letting your nerves get the

best of you, realize there's no reason to be taking things too seriously.

Yes, you may be looking for a potential mate, but at the end of the day you want to be with

someone you can be yourself around, so why not show him your true colours from the start.

And this goes without saying, but don't be afraid to flirt!

Flirting is a great way to make you both more comfortable on your date, and it can help

to build a connection between you.

Focus on YOU!

While on a date, it's easy to focus on and pinpoint the qualities you like and don't

like in the guy you're with, but it's important that you focus on your own as well.

Make note of what conversations make you a uncomfortable, and the topics that show your

best self.

Since dating is a great way to learn more about yourself, do.

The things you discover you can use to your advantage on future dates.

For instance, if you know that you get nervous when it comes time to pay the bill, you can

prepare yourself for it in the future and pre-plan your gameplan.

Or if you're not the best at small talk or initiating conversations, then you can

come up with some topics to chat about before meeting him.

Again, knowing your strengths and weaknesses can improve your dating game huge, so be sure

to focus on you!

25 Things You Missed In Insidious: The Last Key (2018) - Duration: 10:20.

In the opening scene where Elise tries to contact the dead when she's in the bedroom

with her brother, she ends up summoning a demon who appears on the bed behind her for

a fraction of a second.

This appears to be a younger version of the lipstick faced demon, who years later becomes

the driving force behind the Lambert haunting in the original Insidious.

We also see a small horse figurine in the room, which resembles the one found in Lipstick

Face's lair in The Further.

Horses may just be a recurring element in The Further, as we see them in Parker Crane's

room as well.

Elise and Christian's room also have a toy monkey, which we also see many of in Parker's

room.

I have a theory on how Elise may have allowed the Lambert incident to begin due to her actions

in the The Last Key, which I'll get back to later on in this video.

Elise's father is often seen plopped in front of the TV.

But if you pay attention to what he's watching, it says a lot about his character.

First he's seen watching a documentary about Joseph Stalin and Marxism.

I never paid much attention in history class, but I do know that Stalin was a communist

dictator back in the USSR and Marxism was an ideology that was the basis for communism.

If you think about it, his household is a communist dictatorship, where he is the dictator.

In fact, when he punishes Elise, the mother begs him not to go hard on her, but he says,

"don't tell me how to punish her, I punish people for a living."

He also forces Elise to to ignore her psychic gift and lie about the existence of spirits

in their house because she's the only one with this ability and in communism, everything

is controlled by the state, or in this case, her father, and everyone's contribution must

be equal.

So he tries to force Elise to dumb herself down so that she can't use this power that

her brother doesn't have, which is a method used by communist leaders to keep people in

line and prevent an uprising.

Another one of the programs he watches is Duck and Cover which was a propaganda film

shown to schoolchildren in the 1950s.

It was supposed to teach them what to do if a nuclear attack hits, but really it was created

to give people a false sense of security as not to raise panic.

I mean, come on, this isn't Attack on Titan, covering your neck would not actually save

you if a bomb went off.

But in many ways Gerald Rainier uses these same tactics on his daughter by forcing Elise

to ignore the presence of the demons in her household.

This way she stays quiet and doesn't create hysteria with her brother and her mom when

these presences are haunting them.

And Gerald knows full-well that these demons exist and knows of their power, because he's

been manipulated by The Man With The Keys, who forces him to keep these women locked

in his basement.

And let's have a closer look at this basement.

It's filled with shelves of canned food, and you can spot a gas mask hanging on the wall.

Maybe this basement is not just a basement, but also a fallout shelter, somewhere you

might go to protect yourself from these communist attacks.

Something that probably works better than Duck and Cover.

This shelter is where Elise is put when she defies her father's orders.

The gas mask could also be a reference to how Elise first learned to communicate with

the beings from The Further, as we see here in the first Insidious.

When she goes back to the basement as an adult, the calendar still reads September 1953, meaning

her father never went back down there after losing his wife.

So the fallout shelter comes to represent a resistance against communism.

In fact, if you look back on major historical events in September 1953, one of the biggest

stories was communist China being rejected from joining United Nations at the request

of another communist nation, the Soviet Union.

Plus, Gerald's prison warden jacket is very reminiscent of something you might see on

a Soviet general in World War II.

There's a scene early on where we see the silhouette of this jacket moving around behind

Elise as she explores the basement, which is an early clue that her father was involved

with the supernatural entities that resided there.

The house is located at 414 Appletree Road in Five Keys, New Mexico.

As mentioned when I talked about the trailer, it's a fictional location, so choices such

as making this welcome sign look like a tombstone are deliberate.

It's kind of hinted that the whole town is filled with malicious ghosts because of the

executions that take place at the large prison facility, which seems to be the main feature

of Five Keys.

One character tells Elise she is lucky to have gotten out of the town; and her niece,

Imogen claims to have also seen these spirits, despite the fact that she never actually visited

the house Elise grew up in.

It seems like the whole town is plagued by these occurrences and Elise's childhood home

has the worst of it due to the close proximity with the prison.

The street address, 414 Appletree Road, could be a reference to this being the fourth movie

in the franchise and leading directly into the first movie.

Early on in The Last Key, Elise mentions that she refuses to go back into The Further, after

a close call while helping out Quinn Brenner, which is a reference to her stand-off with

The Black Bride in Insidious: Chapter 3.

This explains why she will no longer astral project, because she knows the Black Bride

will be there waiting for her if she does.

This is why she's unable to go into The Further and guide Josh when he goes to retrieve Dalton

in Insidious.

In The Last Key, her mother is the one who saves her from The Man With The Keys.

The experience gives her a newfound respect for her mother, so much so that she refuses

to take ownership of her last name from that point forward.

"Please, call me Elise.

Mrs. Rainier was my mother."

It's also where she discovered that The Further doesn't adhere to a linear flow of time.

Elise meets and gives advice to a younger version of herself in this movie, which would

seem to be the first experience she has with The Further bringing together timelines in

the real world.

There's evidence that she knows about this in Insidious, "The Further is a world far

beyond our own, yet it's all around us.

A place without time as we know it," and it plays a much bigger part in Chapter 2 when

Josh does the same thing.

He meets a younger version of himself to help track down the location of The Black Bride.

At the end of Insidious: Chapter 3, Elise joins up with Specs and Tucker, but mentions

that if they're going to go into business together, they'll need to dress nicer.

In this movie, Elise gives them the new clothes, which they subsequently wear in Insidious

and whenever they are on the job in Insidious Chapter 2.

Elise mentions that the clothes are some of Jack's old outfits.

Jack is her deceased husband whose image can be seen in Chapter 3, when The Man Who Can't

Breathe tries to trick her into taking her life by pretending to be Jack.

Sure enough, the outfit he's wearing in this scene matches up with the outfits that Elise

provides Specs and Tucker with, which become part of their signature look in the series

going forward.

It's not entirely clear how much of Elise's father's behaviour is just him being evil,

and how much of it is due to him being controlled by The Man With The Keys.

But we do see evidence that the Key Man's victims may have had some control at some

point.

When Elise returns to the house in 2010 after Ted Garza has moved in, most of the interior

decorations are the same, but Garza has added some religious symbols: a cross on the wall

and many copies of his Holy Bible, which he expresses a belief that it will help Elise

ward off the bad spirits, which seems more like something out of The Exorcist than Insidious,

which is why it doesn't really work.

There's also a nod to another Exorcism movie though.

Elise's dog appears in both this film and the previous film, and his name is Warren.

Ed and Lorraine Warren are Elise's ghost-hunting counterparts in The Conjuring franchise, the

other big 4-film horror series started by James Wan under the Blumhouse banner.

Anna is the woman being kept prisoner in the basement.

When they find her, you may notice that she has a considerable amount of leg hair, suggesting

that she's been trapped down there for a very long time.

When Elise goes to investigate further, she finds the suitcases of at least 4 other women

who were taken prisoner down there.

They each contain information about the person and their skull.

The one thing each victim has in common is that they are all female nurses.

It's never fully explained why this key demon is only interested in nurses, but it does

make me wonder if this is somehow connected to Lorraine Lambert, Josh's mother.

In Chapter 2, the Black Bride first encounters Josh as a child when he is waiting for his

mom to get off work at the hospital, as a nurse.

Parker Crane, who ends up being The Black Bride, attacks Josh, and it's discovered that

one day later, he jumped off the roof of the hospital, killing himself.

Lorraine finds this out after a creepy elevator ride with Parker's ghost...

"Parker?

What are you?

You should be resting, you shouldn't be out of bed.

Listen, I want to apologize for my son the other day.

He was being a nosy kid."

Let me know your thoughts about the whole nurse thing in the comments.

Earlier I mentioned how I think Elise is responsible for the Red Faced Demon getting to Dalton

Lambert in the first movie.

It starts with these red doors, which we learn more about here in The Last Key.

Elise mentions that previously she used a red door to go deeper into The Further.

She's talking about Quinn Brenner's apartment, which is an interesting case, because the

first time she passes through it, she's brought to The Lambert's second house, which she hasn't

even been to yet.

The second time, under the guide of one of the ghosts of the apartment, the same door

takes her to the abandoned 5th floor of the apartment complex, which is the home of The

Man Who Can't Breathe.

In Insidious, Josh passes through a red door to get to The Lipstick Faced Demon's lair.

And in Chapter 2, Josh, Elise and Carl pass through a red door to get to Parker Crane's

childhood room.

In The Last Key, there is another red door, and it leads to the penitentiary where The

Man With The Keys lives, and this is where the final showdown takes place.

So based on the examples we have so far, it looks like red doors typically lead to the

lair of the demon who is haunting that area.

However, it would appear that there are certain cases where a red door will take someone to

another time period, and we see it happen one more time when Elise is on her way back

to the real world in Chapter 4.

She stumbles upon the first Lambert house, and sees Dalton fall off the ladder.

When she goes back through the door, she leaves it open, and the darth maul looking demon

who has been following her all these years sees the chance to go after Dalton and try

to take over his body to get back to the real world, which was his objective all along.

So in many ways, the key-fingered demon, despite being defeated, still accomplished his goal.

He has been trying to get Elise to open all of these doors ever since she was a child

and she opens the one that leads The Lipstick Face demon to Dalton.

The Man With The Keys leaves all these keys around for Elise to open the doors, but at

the end of day, the last key is Elise.

So then the question becomes, why do these doors keep leading Elise back to the Lambert

family?

It could be The Further, or someone in The Further, such as Elise's mother, trying to

show her that this is where she meets her fate, and it is hinted at many times throughout

the four films.

But it doesn't do any good because The Black Bride still ends up getting the better of

Elise at the end of Insidious and the lipstick faced demon is still on the loose at the end

of the continuity that we've seen so far.

So Leigh Whannell, if you're watching this, it's been two movies since that cliffhanger,

I think it's time in Chapter 5 to tie this one up and give us a sequel to Chapter 2.

Are You Depressed or Just Lazy? - Duration: 2:45.

People often confuse laziness with depression.

Here are some key differences between the two:

Some of the tell-tale signs of depression include:

Having a bleak and negative outlook on life and finding that there is this overarching

belief that nothing is going to turn for the better.

Restlessness and irritability are also common.

People who are depressed are also more likely to lose interest in activities that were once

appealing and pleasurable.

They also tend to experience excessive sleeping as the mind tries to check out from life.

You may also engage in various escapist behaviors like compulsive gambling, dangerous sports,

substance abuse, or reckless driving.

A depressed person's appetite can either increase or decrease abruptly, causing them

to either put on or lose weight.

From what I've seen, increased appetite is the most common of the two.

Depressed people often find it hard to do basic everyday things since they feel fatigued,

sluggish or physically drained and also tend to have trouble concentrating and making decisions.

Since the mind and body are interconnected, it's no surprise that a person suffering

from depression can find themselves experiencing unexplained aches or pains, like headaches

or backaches.

Depressed people are likely to develop strong feelings of worthlessness or guilt which can

cause a cycle of negative unhealthy behaviors, such as overeating, that only propagate more

negative feelings of ones self.

Lastly, in more extreme cases, a depressed person can become violent or aggressive at

times.

If you are experiencing a few of the aforementioned symptoms for more than 15 days, it is likely

you are depressed and you should see a therapist or psychiatrist.

In contrast, laziness is not a pathological medical condition with symptoms like depression.

Lazy people know they can do a task, but avoid it because it involves too much effort.

So, rather than doing the task, they prefer doing nothing or do a task that is less strenuous

even if it's not the important one that they should be doing.

If you feel lazy most of the time, it doesn't even mean you are depressed or even unmotivated.

You may be surprised to know that there are "happy" procrastinators or slackers.

There are a lot of individuals who are inactive, lack willpower and can be extremely lazy and

yet do not have depression.

If you're somebody who has been wondering whether you are depressed or just being lazy

and have been thinking, "yeah, I don't have that….

Nope! " while I've been going through the list of symptoms of a depressed person,

then you are probably in the "lazy" category.

Number 1

So tip number 1 is that you need a goal!

Whatever you see in the papers or on Youtube

It is impossible to learn a language overnight

There are so many words, expressions and other things that you need to learn

You quite simply need time to learn them...

So I find it strange when people expect to perfect a language in the space of a month

It is basically like expecting that after a month in the gym

to be able to run as quickly as Usain Bolt

So anyway... rather than moaning, what you do you need ?

You need to set yourself mini goals!

For example, you could say

after 1 month I want to be able to order something in Italian in a restaurant

After 3 months I want to be able to speak with my colleagues all day in Italian

and after 1 year, I want my accent to be so good that people ask me

where I am from or ask if I am Italian

There mini goals are extremely important

as they will ensure that you don't become disappointed

Tip number 2 is that it needs to be FUN

because if you work or study, you are not going to have lots of free time

so in this free time, you are not going to want to...

read a dictionary or do grammar exercises

So my question is...

If every morning you have to catch the metro to go to work

and you love listening to podcasts...

instead of listening to a Spanish podcast, why not change and listen to one in English ?

Another example... if every day after work

you watch a film with your girlfriend

rather than watching in Spanish, why not look for English or American films?

Last example

you love going out drinking and meeting new people...

why not look for a meetup or couchsurf event

to meet foreigners and practice your English with them...

and if you do this, instead of reading a dictionary or something boring

and you are able to integrate learning a language into your daily life...

You will no longer see it as a chore

It will become a pleasure

So for me, tip number 3 is the most important

It is to be proactive and not passive

Let me explain...

You can set yourself goals,

You can move abroad to immerse yourself in the language,

You can even watch films, series etc etc etc.

However, if you aren't proactive

and you don't look up the words and expressions that you hear

you are actually letting opportunities pass by

and for me it is almost like

being signed up to the gym, but never actually going...

So the most important things is...

that whenever there is a word you don't know

you write it down

you look it up

and you never ever forget it!

Cyberpunk 2077 - HUGE NEW INFO! [news January 2018] - Duration: 20:40.

On today's menu we have some new info on Cyberpunk 2077 as CD Projekt RED updated the

pictures of the virtual tour that Google Maps offers for their main office, and they updated

them on past December, which I believe is no coincidence, it would be really weird if

it's a coincidence, that this update is so close to the beep tweet

Yesterday I did a video with the Triple S League with a complete tour for their offices

and I'm going to put a link in the description to their video with the complete tour and

also a link to the Google Maps tour, in here we're going to discuss only the highlights

but in detail, something that I didn't do before

so, go to the video if you want to see the complete tour because we can extract TONS

of info from here

And this is going to be long, you're warned

The thing about the new pics of their office is that they give us a lot of clues on Cyberpunk

2077, but a lot

And we're going to see the key points here

So the first thing that I wanted to talk about is this part of the office, unfortunately

we can't go inside these rooms, but the outside gives us a lot of clues

In one hand we have that the doors have a sign that reads Night City Police Department

Psycho Squad that looks a lot to a parody to the film Suicide Squad, in fact the font

used is, if not the same, really close, and if you remember, and if you don't I won't

hold it against you, totally understandable, the marketing campaign of the Suicide Squad

had these skull things that you could customize, and Cyberpunk is a very parodic game so it

kind of fits, not sure if we will see this logo in the game but we can be sure that the

Psycho Squad is going to be relevant

watch to know what this is if you don't

So, on the other wall, as I showed before we can see this: a poster with the key points

of Cyberpunk 2077, and you will say oh what a pity, we can't see a damn thing, don't

worry, there's another picture of this poster, that was leaked by someone visiting the studio

This poster where we can see Alt Cunningham, a very important personality in the lore of

Cyberpunk, she's the Netrunner that programed the first version of the Soul Killer, was

kidnaped by Arasaka and liberated at the end of the 4th Corporate War, we can also see

her in the teaser in the background, she's somehow immortal as her soul was uploaded

to the net to explain it in short, so I think is safe to assume that she's going to be

an NPC in the game

So now let's talk about the key points of the game as shown on the poster:

RPG NON-LINEAR GAMEPLAY

This is something that we already knew, we're

talking about an open-world RPG, so this point is pretty clear

TACTICAL MODE

This is something that we also somehow knew

and could be deduced from the job postings that CDPR had in their official website, and

this is one of the key points that is going to make the game roleplaying-orientated

But, remember, that in here, we're talking about an action roleplaying game, so remove

from your head any idea you could have that this could be something similar to an MMO,

this is something that CDPR already stressed in the past

Is not

TWO SANDBOX ENVIRONMENTS

This is something that answers a lot of questions

that I had regarding the environments and the size of the map

So, in one hand we have Night City, which is an Urban environment, and some of you asked

if there were going to be other environments

so: yes, we just saw it

Now we know

And most probably this second environment is going to be the wasteland because is not

like there are a lot of other things around Night City apart from the wasteland, this

is going to give us two completely different environments and it's lovely

And when I talk about environment I don't mean zones, because if they're using the

third edition map, which is clear that they are using it, and I will explain later why is

clear, we have the Ocean Zone, the Urban Zone, the Road Zone, CorpZone, Combat Zones and

Waste Zones, and in exception of the Ocean Zone and the wasteland, the rest of the zones

are the same environment, which is Urban, and it all looks like the Ocean Zone is either

going to be urban or wasteland zone, which gives us two environments

One is going to be blue and the other is going to be orange

Just kidding, that's from the new Blade Runner

Which, by the way, they said they adored

STREETS OF NIGHT CITY

I've been told somewhere and I won't quote

who told me, that the streets of Night City are the most beautiful thing seen on a video

game, and that got me so hyped to see them, and we can see why in here, this is one of

the key points of Cyberpunk 2077, and seeing the huge amount of artists that they have

working on this I think you can believe me when I say "it's going to be awesome"

INTERACTIVE NON-LINEAR SCENES

This was also expected, a non-linear story

that would give us a branching storyline that will depend on the decisions that we take

during the game, this way of telling the story would fit a lot in the grey areas of morality

that are described in the Cyberpunk universe, and it was also something that the Witcher

offered, so, as I said, totally expected

LOW-LEVEL, QUEST BASED STORY

So I'm a little confused with the true meaning

of this point, in one hand it makes me think in low-level quests being important in the

storytelling and on the other hand makes me think in the motto "High-tech, low life",

where you can have survival quests, I said the second in the video with the Triple S

League, that's what happens when you say the first thing that comes to your head without

thinking a lot

But that we needed to complete quests to advance in the story is something that was also totally expected

Again, as CDPR stressed in the past, we're going to see a lot of things in common with The Witcher

HIGH-TECH AND CYBERWEAR

The Cyberpunk worlds have the motto of "High-tech,

low life" as I said before, and this is a universe where humanity is completely merged with technology

The thing is that, as Mike Pondsmith pointed out in the past, Cyberpunk 2020 was written

way before major technologies were implemented in our everyday life, like smartphones, and

in a lot of ways the futuristic technology that was described there is way behind us

at this point, so technology and cyberwear is something that they need to revise for the video game

Because fax machines are so outdated, so what will they do with technology here is something

that I'm really looking forward to seeing it

It's going to be awesome. I'm so excited.

I'm so hyped. I know

BRAINDANCE

Seeing Braindance as a key point of Cyberpunk

makes me so glad because this was one of my predictions, that Braindance was going to

have so much relevance in this video game

I still owe you a lore video about that, and don't worry, you will see it before the

game releases, as I said before the lore is massive and I want to cover as much as I can

before the game comes out, but one of the reasons I need to make this video is because

some confuse Braindance with Soul Killer, which is not the same thing

Braindance is an entertainment media where you play digital recordings of someone's

experience, but what you play is the brain process registered, including emotions, and

you plug it directly to your brain via neural implants

Or using a SegAtari machine

But we'll talk about that some other time

So these are the key points of Cyberpunk 2077 according to CD Projekt RED, and let's go

to a different part of the office that gives us more information

So in this hallway here we can see two rooms, one is called Kabuki and the other one is

called Arasaka, let's go for the Arasaka room first

Arasaka is one of the main megacorporations in the world of Cyberpunk, it's a Japanese

conglomerate directed by Kei Arasaka, son of the founder of the company Saburo Arsaka,

and they are specialized in security, that's the main service they offer

So, Arasaka were the ones that kidnapped Alt Cunningham, the girl in lingerie in the previous

poster, killed her physical body with a program called Soul Killer that she designed, trapped

her soul and killed her boyfriend, the rockerboy Johnny Silverhand

And, also, they were one of the sides responsible of the 4th Corporate War, along with

the American arms manufacturer Militech

Every moment you spend living is a moment you spend learning

reality redefined by Microcybernetics

So it's not a surprise that Arasaka is one of the key megacorporations of Cyberpunk 2077,

as Mike Pondsmith said a long ago they were not going to use the third edition lore exactly

as it was, and I'm glad because if I recall it correctly in the third edition Arasaka

was nationalized by the government of Japan and this would make them a much boring company

So, I've been struggling to find out what would be the most important megacorps in 2077,

the only big one that appears in the teaser in Network News 54, there's also a mention

to the implants manufacturer Kiroshi, but Kiroshi is not one of the big ones, and I'm

90% positive that another company that is going to be key in the game is Raven Microcybernetics,

because it's the shirt that all the crew, including Mike Pondsmith, wore in the 2012

CDPR summer conference

Raven Microcybernetics is a megacorporation with headquarters in Night City that is known

for being the leaders in full-body cybernetic conversion

I believe that mixing these two companies together gives us a lot of clues about the storyline

And, well, as you can imagine I only explain publicly around 20% of my theories about this

game, mostly because some are very crazy, so mostly I only explain the ones that I'm

more sure about, maybe one day I should make a video about crazy theories and why I have them

So, Arasaka & Raven Microcybernetics

And now the other room : Kabuki

This Kabuki room seems like a brainstorming room, all the creative companies I've worked

in had the whiteboard in the brainstorming room

Why Kabuki?

Kabuki is a traditional Japanese dance-drama, that is known for the elaborate makeup of its performers

It's especially significant that they name Kabuki a brainstorming room, if it really

is a brainstorming room, because it's believed that the word Kabuki comes from the verb

kabuku, that means "learning", but also means "out of the ordinary" or "out

of the box"

And apart from traditional Japanese theater, Kabuki is a Cyberpunk comic book series created by

the writer and artist David Mack and published on the early 90s, and this is an out of the

box comic, it mixes several techniques, it reminds me a little the style of Dave Mckean

and the name sounds even close

Apart from the many similarities that the Kabuki comic and the Cyberpunk 2077 universe

share, that I won't explain here to avoid spoiling you the comic, in this comic there

is a, let's call it, faction, with the name of the Kai Syndicate, named after the character

of this comic Kai Ryuichi, name that caught my attention because it sounds really close

to Kei Arasaka

So, I think that the comic Kabuki is going to give us some hints about the story of Cyberpunk

2077 because it looks like it was a source of inspiration

and I'm going to give you some time to read it before we discuss it, this way

the number of people spoiled with be reduced

Next important room, in this case, rooms, we have Heywood, Cavern, and Pacifica, next

to the Player and Weapons room that we will discuss later, though we already saw images

of the guns room in CDPR, that's not new info

So, we have three rooms: Heywood, Cavern, and Pacifica

Well, one of the reasons why I never went in deep about the map in the lore videos or

in the questions you made about it, is because I wasn't 100% sure about the map they were

going to use, there were lots of options, and I like to be sure about what I say, I

can be wrong but I'm convinced, that's important for me

The only zone of Night City I covered in the Lore videos is the Night City University and

I did so because I wanted to make a point about what it was learning like in a

future society where information could be absorbed from neural chips

But these three rooms are key to know what map are they using and they reference three

zones of that map

Heywood, that's a zone that gives lots of clues, because it's an industrial zone in

the east where you can find and Arasaka arms factory, several Biotechnica research stations,

and EBM storage units

Arasaka, Biotechnica, and EBM, three key megacorporations in the Cyberpunk universe

And then Pacifica

Pacifica is an upper-class suburb, that is very safe mostly because the police force

is corporate police, Militech security force to be more precise, and it's divided into

different zones: Coastview, that is for celebrities and executives, Westwind, that is a suburb

mostly for Militech employees, Playland, that is an amusement park known for their Braindance

games, and this is, oh my god, a perfect zone for minigames, and the Pacifica Arcology,

that is a self-sufficient Mallplex for a hundred thousand people and if you want to know what

a Mallplex is, go see my People of Night City video in the Lore playlist

So much information, only with two rooms

Then, the third: Cavern

I must confess that this room confused me a little at first, because I couldn't think

of any place called Cavern in the lore but then, puff, it just came to me

See, the map they are using is the Night City Megacity, where you can find Heywood and Pacifica,

this map is fucking huge

this map is fucking huge, so apart of the

zones that I explained when I talked about the two sandbox environments, is also divided

into levels, so you have zones in horizontal and levels in vertical

And the levels are High City, that is the realm of starscrappers, and posh and expensive

living, rooftop gardens and so on.

Then the middle level is called MidCity, that is like the street level, and then you have

Under City, that is a level that is mostly in ruins because this part of the map is the

old cities that collapsed and where absorbed by the expansion of Night City and built over

them, so Cavern, they're going to make a part of the part underground on the map

This is fucking amazing

And, by the way, for your information

when you play the game in this part of the map is where you going to find most of the shops

to buy illegal cyberwear

Remember that

These three names of locations give us the three types of levels of Night City Megacity:

The upper class Pacifica, Heywood in the middle and the Caverns in the Under City

I wasn't sure that they were going to use this map, I had suspicions, but I wasn't

totally sure, and my apologies to everyone who asked about the map and had vague answers

from me because I wasn't sure, but, here, at the offices of CD Projekt RED, I had the

proof I needed

Holy shit the map is going to be huge

how big the map was because, seriously

Audi A3 8P oil reminder and service inspection reset - Duration: 2:42.

Hi, today we are in Audi A3 8P

and we're going to try to reset the service reminder in this car.

So let's turn on the ignition

and as you can see

we have the spanner symbol flashing over here.

We have two buttons. The left one is responsible for the clock

and the right one is for you trip odometer and the service messages.

So what you need to do is grab the right one and pull it once.

And we can see that the service is overdue.

Also the oil service is overdue.

OK, let's pull it again.

And now let's pull and hold it.

OK.

Let's pull it again.

Spanner is not reset, but the oil is reset.

OK, I looked around and it seams like you can not reset the service inspection yourself,

only the oil inspection. So we're going to try use the Carista OBD2 adapter

and check if this will reset the service reminder in this car.

And let's give it a second.

As you can see the spanner is over here and now let's press "RESET".

Spanner is not here. So let's turn off the ignition, turn it back on.

No message. Let's pull it.

And that's it. As you can see there's a tool required to reset the service inspection.

And only the oil reminder can be reset with button combination.

Hi All! I wanted to make a vlog about metapolitics, but I can't pass on what the bloody Romanian PM said last week.

Who is just joined to this scandal, here's a short brief: the Transylvanian (Hungarian) parties with Katalin Szili,

have been worked together on a common plan about the autonomy of Szeklerland.

Because in 2018, Romania celebrates the day when Transylvania became it's part.

And they want them - from Hungarians living in Transylvania - to celebrate together, however the treaty of Trianon is still a painful part in their heart.

With this, there aren't any problems: why they shouldn't celebrate their day of unity together?

Ah yes, I got it! Hungarians still can not practice their identity and they don't have equal rights. Just like in the last 100 years...

Long story short, when the PM has been asked about this, he said that no autonomy is on the horizon and if someone hangs a Szekler flag, the person will hang as well.

If already our history went on that bad way, Tudose should open a discussion - even during this "important" day - and not to deepen the conflict.

Trianon is still a painful episode of Transylvanian Hungarians, and as I think Tudose is not an unschooled person,

he should rather start a discussion about this.

The Hungarian GI aimed for this year, to work on a discourse which can help to process this Trianon-trauma.

As noone tried it in the last 100, or the last 60-70 years (during socialist era).

Mr. Tudose! I think the best gesture from you would have been that if you would have signed this document as a gesture for your centennial year.

This would help Romania to show some European values... And of course - just to spend your time usefully:

prepare your country for the waves of migrants arriving through the Black Sea.

I hope, the reason why Tudose says these unbelievably stupid stuff, because he has no support,

and this is just "burning the bridges" while he's escaping from political life.

Which is good, farewell! But I hope the new PM will be a person who has interest in preserving Hungarian culture and identity,

because the leaders in Bucharest should already know that noone was able to eliminate the Szeklers and Hungarians from Transylvania,

The stronger the oppression, the harder their insistence will be to their identity and autonomy.
