13 Things Highly Intuitive People Don't Do

You've met them.

You know, the people who seem to know what's going to happen before it does, predict your

impending breakup or simply seem to read your mind.

Before screaming 'burn the witch!' it's important to know that these people aren't

so different from you, they're probably just more intuitive.

Those who are both cursed and blessed by being highly intuitive, they simply go about their

lives in a different way.

Let's take a look at some of the things that these people don't do.

1.

They Don't Ignore Their Inner Voice

Highly intuitive people know that their inner voice is something worth listening to.

Sometimes basing decisions purely off logic and reason isn't the best choice.

I realise that to some this will sound crazy, but to those who consider themselves intuitive,

they will understand that sometimes the best decision for ourselves are one that comes

from that little inner voice, as opposed to the external information that

the world provides us with.

2.

They Don't Let the Modern World Stop Them From Taking Time For Solitude

Between increasingly longer work days and technology keeping us constantly connected

to one another, it can be difficult to take time for ourselves.

In fact, some of us get so addicted to constant contact that taking time for solitude can

be near impossible.

Intuitive people know that it's important to get off the grid every once and while,

even if it's just for an hour.

They understand that people need time to decompress and get some much need stress relief.

Yoga, meditation and Tai Chi are great ways to incorporate this essential 'you time'

into your busy schedule.

3.

They Don't Stifle Their Own Creativity

It can be easy to ignore or push down your creativity in order to be more practical.

Quite frankly, pursuing creative interests and fields can be scary, and they're certainly

the roads less travelled.

However, intutive people know that if they have that creative calling it's important

to let it flourish.

Ignoring this urge can lead to a lifetime of unhappiness and feeling unfulfilled.

4.

They Don't Ignore Personal Observations

Part of being intuitive is simply being good at observing the world around you and then

interpreting that information to find more subtle meanings.

Intuitive people realise that being observant is imperative in order to find truth in people

and the world in general.

A small look or shift in body language, or a seemingly throw away comment, can be more

important than what you may think.

5.

They Don't Ignore the Importance of Connecting With People On a Deep Level

Highly intuitive people love with every fiber of their being.

Whether you're a friend, a family member or a lover, they realise how important it

is to connect on a deep level.

After all, this is the only way to truly know someone.

Both a positive and a negative of these connections is that they can also feel the pain of those

they're close to.

Not literally of course, but they care deeply when someone is hurting emotionally.

If an intuitive person ever says "I know how you feel", they probably truly do.

6.

They Don't Ignore Their Dreams

Highly intuitive people know that truth can be found not only in the physical world, but

also in their own dreams.

They're aware that their brains use their sleeping state in order to work out problems

and present solutions and pathways for the dreamer.

Those who are the most aware of this generally become quite good at interpreting their own

dreams and acting accordingly.

7.

They Don't Hold Onto Negative Emotions

People who are intuitive tend to be highly connected to their own emotions.

It's for that reason that they may find it hard to let go of negative emotions.

However, they recognise the necessity of it in order to to keep emotionally and spiritually

sane, as well as connect positively with others.

8.

They Don't Forget to be Mindful

Intuitive people tend to be incredibly mindful of those around them, as well as their environment.

This is somewhat different to being observant because it taps into the feelings they get

from what's happening around them.

This can be as simply as discerning how someone feels about them, to gauging whether they

are in a potentially dangerous situation, despite appearances.

9.

They Generally Don't Rush Their Decisions

Intuitive people who are acutely aware of the way they make choices may take longer

to eventually come to a decision.

This is because they tend to have more information and feelings to consider.

10.

They Don't Take Wrong Decisions Lightly

Highly intuitive people can get incredibly upset if they end up making a bad decision

or choice.

This makes sense considering that they tend to be equipped with more personal tools to

avoid poor decisions and mistakes.

However, nobody is infallible and it also makes them all the more careful when it comes

to the important choices.

11.

They Don't Mind Crying

Intuitive people tend to be in touch with their emotions, and thus don't see any harm

in a good cry.

They realise that sometimes people need a physical release in order to achieve an emotional

one.

12.

They Don't Ignore the Needs of Their Body

Highly intuitive people tend to be in tune with their bodies more and are aware if something

is wrong.

It's for this reason that many will turn to spiritual exercises because these pursuits

teach them how to be even more sensitive to their body's needs.

13.

They're Not Afraid to be Spiritual

Highly intuitive people tend to be quite spiritual, but this doesn't necessarily mean that they're

religious.

They tend to be spiritual in terms of their relationship with themselves, those around

them and the world.

All in all, that's the 13 Things Highly Intuitive People Don't Do.

Tour Down Under 2018 | Stage 4 Report - Duration: 3:57.

Anticipated as the wildcard stage of this year's Tour Down Under, Stage 4 featured

the brand new finish town of Uraidla and before that, (the climb of) Norton Summit.

An earlier start for the riders due to another incredibly hot day in South Australia. Two

riders went off the front early, they were Zak Dempster of Israel Cycling Academy and

Alex Porter of Bennelong Swiss Wellness, of course both riding this race in UNI-SA team

colours. They were let off the leash and had a lead

of 10 minutes by the time they rolled through the first intermediate sprint at Birdwood,

with Dempster crossing first. The peloton had been keeping things very steady a handful

of riders did contest third place Elia Viviani grabbed a couple more sprint points.

Shortly after, the 2nd intermediate sprint at Charleston was taken by Porter from his

breakaway buddy Dempster, Viviani again nabbed third place, albeit without too much of a

contest this time. Porter gave up soon after, while Dempster

stayed away until about 20km to go when he was absorbed and the peloton braced themselves

for Norton Summit. Miles Scotson of BMC was tasked with setting

a hard pace at the foot of the climb to dissuade attacks from other teams He peeled off to

allow new recruit Simon Gerrans to continue the tempo. This tactic was shedding riders

off the back at a steady rate - Caleb Ewan would not retain the ochre jersey for another

day, but even riders like Nathan Haas were finding the pace hard to deal with, with speeds

well over 30km/h uphill. The top of the climb arrived in a flash, with

Gerrans leading the reduced bunch of about 30 riders over the top, with Porte inching

his way up to grab a handful of King of the Mountains points.

A flurry of attacks ensued on the rolling roads towards the finish. Michael Valgren,

Lars Bak, Peter Sagan and Richie Porte all had a go in the run in to the finish line,

but couldn't find the separation. A short downhill saw riders surging to the

front to maintain as much momentum as possible. You don't often see too many seated bunch

sprints, but riders were spinning out in a desperate bid for more speed - Sagan had taken

the outside line with Daryl Impey, and it proved to work wonders - he spun it up that

little bit faster to take victory. INTERVIEW

Sagan becomes the first rider in Tour Down Under history to win a stage in the rainbow

bands, and he also takes the leader's ochre jersey to boot, albeit by a slender margin

of 2 seconds from Daryl Impey. As you can see from this extended list of

results, there are still plenty of riders in contention for the overall - a total of

33 riders within 14 seconds of the race lead. Nathan Haas isn't one of them - he was struggling

on Norton Summit and lost time amid those frenetic final kilometres.

So that means it's all to play for tomorrow - Stage 5, an integral part of the Tour Down

Under's history. Norton Summit might not have been hard enough to split the favourites

today, but 2 ascents of Willunga Hill certainly will - plus we're expecting temperatures

of a slightly more manageable 35ΒΊ. We can't wait.

The Very First Gaming Console (Magnavox Odyssey) - Duration: 3:15.

Right Now, the Playstation 4 and Xbox One are two of the most powerful and popular gaming

consoles ever made, but why don't we take a step back.

Let's talk a bit about the very first gaming console ever made.

Lets talk about the Magnavox Odyssey.

All the way back in 1972 Magnavox had released the Magnavox Odyssey, a home video game system

based on the "Brown Box," a prototype invented by Ralph Baer.

In 1966 Ralph Baer, Chief Engineer for Equipment Design at the defense contractor Sanders Associates,

began work creating a technology where a simple game could be played on a television monitor.

One year later this became a reality when Baer and his team created a simple game consisting

of two dots chasing each other around the screen.

The Government initially planned to fund this project to use a military training tool, but

that did not go according to plan.

Six years later the top secret status was dropped and Sanders Associates licensed the

tech to electronics company Magnavox.

The Brown Box was renamed, slightly redesigned and released as the very first gaming console

system for the home market - the Magnavox Odyssey – and this started the revolution

of console gaming.

The console came with the following parts upon release.

A Master Control Unit, 2 Player Control Units, the Game Cord, an Antenna-Game Switch with

mounting hooks, 2 sized sets of 11 Overlays for medium and large television screens, 6

Game Cards and Multiple game and score cards.

The Magnavox Odyssey featured an unconventional design that resembled a model spaceship, and

its controllers were equally oddball, clunky paddles with twisty dials on either side.

The system was incapable of sound output and it was barely able to produce graphics.

The games playable on the device consisted of two bars of light that players moved around

the screen using the controller's dials.

Games came on removable printed circuit boards and relied on TV overlays to add visual detail

and colour.

Depending on which overlay was plastered over the screen, the Odyssey could transform a

television display into a tennis court, American football field, a haunted house, shooting

gallery, a casino and more.

Due to the design of the console, this meant gamers had a more active role when actually

playing video games.

They had to interact with the physical console a bit more than how things work today.

Very soon after the console's release the world's first light gun peripheral was made

public alongside the console.

The Odyssey's light gun was called Shooting Gallery and it had a design that would probably

leave manufacturers open get attacked by the public, since it had more in common with an

actual rifle than the kid-friendly accessories that followed it to market in the ensuing

years.

The console itself was more of a success, shifting 100,000 games within its first year

and moving around 350,000 units by the time its successor, the cartridge-based Magnavox

Odyssey 2, arrived in 1974.

The launch price was $99 US, which is just over $500 in today's currency.

Looking back at this console, it can clearly be seen that things have moved very far since

the initial release.

We now have extremely powerful gaming consoles and I think we should be thankful for the

power that we can get from what we have.

Easy CORN CHOWDER | Make it with your Slow Cooker, Crock Pot or Instant Pot - Duration: 3:02.

Slow-cooking, coming right up on Weekend at the Cottage.

I'm just getting ready to sit down to eat this bowl of Sweet Corn Chowder

but I figure I better show you what it's all about.

Because you're going to want to make this real soon.

Principle ingredients for the recipe are corn and potato.

I have six ears of corn. You can now buy corn on the cob throughout the year.

Place it on a bundt pan. Take a sharp knife, remove all of those kernels.

If you're wondering why I'm using that bundt pan head to the story at weekendatthecottage.com.

I have a little one-minute video about the origins of this really easy technique.

The next thing we need to do is take our little new potatoes and cut them in half

and then into six. Corn and potatoes are to the side.

Additional ingredients, we're going to need one cup of chopped sweet onion,

1 cup chopped carrot.

A cup of chopped celery.

2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.

Transfer all of those ingredients into a bowl -

corn potatoes all of the rest and ingredients and then

we're taking 3 tablespoons of flour.

Sprinkle the flour on top and stir everything together.

All the vegetables are ready.

We're transferring them to the vessel of a slow cooker.

I'm adding 6 cups of chicken stock.

Feel free to substitute with vegetable if you want a vegetarian meal.

We then add 3 sprigs of thyme.

The lid goes on and you can set your slow cooker for 3 hours on high setting

or 6 hours on low setting.

So if you like doing these meals where you leave in the morning to go to work

set it for 6 hours.

If you want this kind of an afternoon thing or ready for lunch

start it in the morning for 3 hours on high and you'll have great results.

Once you've reached your cook time, you take the lid off.

2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, 1 cup 18% cream and then

1 tablespoon of chopped dill. Stir everything in.

We've got salt at the ready. Little bit of black pepper.

Have a spoon handy do a taste test.

adjust your seasoning and you're ready to serve.

Oh one last thing. Take those little sprigs of thyme out and throw them out.

One thing for sure, when you serve this up

you'll be as impressed with the presentation as you are with flavour.

Take that first bite mmm very flavourful.

Corn and potatoes cooked perfectly.

This chowder is fantastic. I know you're going to want to make it pretty soon.

Looking for other fantastic things why not head to weekendatthecottage.com.

2018 YouTube Monetization Rules: How To Monetize Your Channel Without Adsense | TeefahXOXO - Duration: 7:12.

This video is basically for any small youtuber whose affected by these recent monetization changes

I'm also going to be talking about other ways you can make money off YouTube, it's not just Google Adsense

My name is Lateefah and welcome to my YouTube channel

Today's video is going to be a lot different from any type of video I've done.

Today's video is going to be talking about YouTube's latest Partner Program update

aka YouTube monetization - the latest 2018 update...

...which is making a lot of small YouTubers go [SCREAMS]

I'm going to be talking about why YouTube has made these changes.

I'm also going to be talking about alternative ways you can make money off YouTube.

What do these changes mean for small YouTubers like myself and possibly you watching?

Please keep watching. And if you like this video please give it a thumbs up.

If you're new here, why don't you consider subscribing?

Help a girl out with her subscriber count.

Let's get into this video.

So yesterday, January 16, YouTube announced a change to their Partner Program

The YouTube Partner Program allows you to monetize your channel...essentially

Prior to yesterday to be eligible for monetization on your channel you had to have 10,000 lifetime views on your channel.

Now...in the last couple of months or so...I could be wrong

A lot of smaller YouTubers that I talk to had been complaining about how it was taking such a long time...

... for YouTube to approve them even after they had reached and surpassed that 10,000 views threshold.

And now we know why!

YouTube announced a HUMONGOUS change to their eligibility to apply for monetization.

And it's crazy!

Now you have to have at least 1,000 subscribers

Let that sink in...At least a thousand subscribers

And not only that you also have to have 4,000 watch time hours...

In the last 12 months...it's not even a lifetime thing anymore...In The Last 12 months [SIGHS]

YouTube just got harder!

Should I say fortunately for me...this channel has about 1200 subscribers, give or take.

So these changes don't affect me.

The key takeaways are: You have to have at least 1,000 subscribers

And 4,000 watch time hours in the last 12 months.

Roughly if there's an average of 3 minutes retention time on an average YouTube video...

...That is equal to about 80,000 minutes watch time.

If you've already been monetized and you don't meet these requirements, you've probably received an email...

..from YouTube saying your channel has been disabled for monetization.

Even though they've announced this update it doesn't kick in till the 20th of February.

So if you can get those numbers up before the 20th of Feb, you're fine.

If you can't, whatever revenue you've made from your channel will still be paid to you. It's just going forward you're not going to have monetization enabled.

People are...smaller YouTubers are losing their minds...

One name comes to mind...Logan Paul.

If you go on the blog post where YouTube made this announcement.

They said they are making these changes...

...to address the issues that affected our community in 2017

...so we can prevent bad actors from harming the inspiring and original creators around the world who make their living on YouTube.

I feel like YouTube is doing this because of people like Logan Paul & PewdiePie

There's been a lot of f***ery on YouTube from creators.

The Logan Paul thing was an epic f***ery, the Pewdiepie N word bomb was another f***ery.

Basically the YouTube platform is meant to be advertiser friendly. Advertisers don't want to advertise on videos...

...inciting violence or showing a dead body in the suicide forest of Japan.

So what YouTube is trying to do is win back advertisers trust...

...because the more advertisers come to the YouTube platform, the more YouTube makes money...

...the more creators make money. Pretty much this is a business decision for YouTube.

And these are the things they feel they need to do to gain this trust.

Is this the end for us? Does this mean we stop creating videos?

Does this mean Adsense isn't going to work for us anymore?

I feel like this means we have to work harder. We have to be a lot more creative with our content.

We need to learn how to make our videos more discoverable...

...Using SEO. Learning how to tag our videos. Learning how to describe our videos properly.

There's so many people here that give out free valuable advise on how to grow your YouTube channel.

I'm going to leave some links in the description box. Please check them out.

One thing we need to know as smaller YouTubers is that...

...There's other ways we can earn an income from this, even if our channels are not monetized.

You can make money from affiliate programs like...Ebates, Amazon, RStyle for fashion.

I know Sephora does something for beauty.

You can make money off of selling products. You can make money off of selling services.

There's people on here who sell EBooks.

So it depends on what your channel is about.

You can attract brand deals i.e. Sponsorships.

Nigerian YouTubers. Smaller YouTubers. Who ever is watching this...

...That is discouraged by the latest YouTube monetization update. Don't be discouraged.

If there's any changes...or if there's any updates or if there's any hacks...

...Around YouTube's latest monetization change for 2018...

...I'm going to be updating it on my Insta Stories. So follow me on there just so you're in the loop.

I'm TeefahXOXO on Instagram.

It's a sad day for smaller YouTubers, but it's not the end guys. This should not be the end!

I've heard quite a few people, smaller YouTubers on Twitter, say that's it, they're done. Please don't quit!

Especially in Nigeria. We need more Nigerian YouTubers on this platform.

We have so many different stories to tell.

If you watched to the end, thank you so much for watching.

What do you think about YouTube's latest monetization update for 2018?

How does it affect you?

Does it make you want to quit?

Do you have any suggestions for smaller YouTubers on how to grow their channels?

Please, please, please...if you have any comments on this? Please leave your comments down below.

Please do not forget to subscribe, we need it now more than ever.

Thank you so much for watching.

Pilatus Bank targets the mass affluent with private bank in your pocket | World Finance - Duration: 3:39.

World Finance: The mass affluent are the holy grail for private bankers.

In Europe there are 134 million people with wealth valued between $100,000 and $1m.

And although they would benefit from the service and attention of a personalised wealth manager,

the challenge of scaling up that offering is significant.

Hamidreza Ghanbari thinks he has the solution, and he joins me now.

First: who are the mass affluent, and how significant are they as a customer base?

Hamidreza Ghanbari: Thank you Paul. To start with, they are smart, wealthy,

very diverse, and severely underserved.

And they represent the largest portion of global wealth: even bigger than high net worth individuals.

They have all the characteristics of early adopters, and they've been taken for granted by the big banks.

So we see big potential in this market segment, which seems to be lost between the retail

and private banking space.

World Finance: Now this segment has been underserved until now; what's changed?

Hamidreza Ghanbari: Well historically, the high fees and minimum balance requirements were significant.

The challenge for private banks is how to make the model accessible and affordable.

And to overcome that, you have to make sure your business model is scalable, because in

the past, we've seen that the banks, they tried to bring down the minimum requirements,

or tried to be competitive in terms of fees.

But they failed to scale up. And this is what we set out to do.

So while conventional banks are struggling to find a way how to engage their new clients.

We at Pilatus are leading the way of a new private banking model, which is scalable and accessible.

World Finance: One of the other challenges with dealing with this segment of the population is that,

as you said, they span all demographics.

So how can you segment that population and actually understand what it is that they need?

Hamidreza Ghanbari: Let me answer your question this way.

Look at human behaviour. We all look for convenience and efficiency.

Pilatus Bank offers its exclusive and personalised services through our proprietary technology platform,

which we call ARX.

ARX is that very platform that provides you with efficiency and convenience,

wherever you are in the world.

So: having your branch in your pocket.

Having your private banker on the go.

Scaling up human interactions.

World Finance: So in the future, as a member of the mass affluent;

what do my banking interactions look like?

We believe that the future of banking belongs to private banking and its core values,

which are dedicated relationship managers, and customers who want to know

and to be known to their bank.

We believe that the market is ripe now, and if we can get it right, it would definitely lead us to the

next generation of banking, which lately become known as the Uber moment of banking.

World Finance: Well we'll look forward to that.

Hamidreza, thank you very much.

Hamidreza Ghanbari: Thank you very much.

Thanks for watching.

Branding and design are tricky enough as they are, only to be made worse by the many existing
