Youtube daily report w Jan 23 2018

[♪ INTRO]

Most of the time, the universe is a really confusing place.

Literally every day, there's something that happens somewhere

that scientists just can't understand.

And sometimes, things can seem so weird that it would almost make sense if they were happening

on purpose, like, if they were caused by aliens.

Of course, so far, it's never actually been aliens,

but we do get tripped up every now and again.

Here are three of the most puzzling times people thought we found aliens,

but turned out to be wrong.

Where better to start than with what was maybe the original alien signal?

Back when at least one scientist was convinced there were giant,

alien-made canals on the surface of Mars.

The whole episode started with a simple misunderstanding.

In 1877, the Italian astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli was the first

to publish a map of Mars that was, like, at all accurate.

And he noticed and charted a number of what looked like channels,

which he labeled with the Italian word canali.

Unfortunately, when his map was translated into English,

a sloppy translation turned canali into canals instead of channels.

Although, it could have also been confused with cannoli,

which would have been a lot funnier, and more delicious.

This mistranslation probably made sense to many mapmakers because the world was in the

midst of a canal-building craze, like, Egypt's Suez Canal had just been completed in 1869.

So if giant, watery ditches were good enough for us Earthlings,

why not for the Martians, too?

In the late 1800s, it also wasn't weird to think that Mars might be habitable, since

our planets seemed similar in some ways, and no one had been there yet.

Still, all this canal talk might have stopped there if it hadn't captured the attention

of American astronomer Percival Lowell.

After a few Mars observations of his own, he fell in love with the idea of alien canals

and began publishing elaborate stories about a dying civilization

trying to farm on a dried-out world.

Kinda like astronomy fan-fiction.

Most scientists disagreed, but the idea caught on enough for papers like the New York Times

to write about it seriously.

Lowell even built an observatory to study the canals, but a funny thing started to happen:

The closer astronomers looked, the fewer canals they could see.

Almost like they didn't exist.

Today, we know the Mars canals were just an optical illusion.

Our eyes tend to try to make lines out of groups of details too fine to see, and since

Mars is full of craters, mountains, and all sorts of other tiny features, it makes sense

that astronomers like Lowell would have spotted canals where there weren't any.

Still, some people didn't want to give them up, so the question wasn't settled for good

until NASA's Mariner spacecraft actually arrived at Mars in the 1960s.

And the final verdict?

Definitely no alien canals.

Giant canals might've been the biggest alien signal we've ever been fooled by, but Mars

has also given us the smallest.

In 1996, scientists studying a Martian meteorite, named ALH84001, made an incredible claim:

They argued that this 2-kilogram hunk of Mars contained microscopic fossils of alien life.

In a paper published in the journal Science, the team laid out four lines of evidence.

By looking at slices of the meteorite with a microscope, they identified blob-like structures

that looked a lot like tiny versions of some Earth bacteria.

The meteorite also contained traces of compounds called polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which

are rings of carbon sometimes created by living things.

And it contained carbonite, the substance that forms marine shells and skeletons, which,

despite having the same name, is not the same thing that trapped Han Solo.

That stuff's not real.

Finally, and most convincingly, were bits of magnetite, a magnetic mineral produced

by some lifeforms, trapped within the carbonite.

So, it seemed a lot like we found signs of life!

But, it didn't take long for scientists to do what they do best: attack those arguments.

And eventually, other researchers found explanations

for how everything could have formed without life.

Experiments conducted in 2001, for example,

demonstrated that the conditions the meteorite would have experienced on the surface of Mars

could've produced bits of magnetite wrapped in carbonite.

Now, technically, we can't say the meteorite doesn't contain fossilized aliens, because

this evidence could have been produced by tiny Martians, too.

But most scientists are pretty confident we haven't found ET.

Finally, not all of our so-called "evidence" of aliens comes from Mars.

Sometimes, those signals come from much closer to home.

Us pesky humans were to blame for one of the weirdest-ever

astronomical mysteries, called perytons.

Perytons were weird, millisecond-long radio signals picked up

starting in 1998 by Australia's Parkes Observatory.

They looked a lot like fast radio bursts, those mysterious signals that do come from

space, but unlike FRBs, perytons would appear around the same times during the day and seemed

to come from everywhere.

So… aliens?

To be fair, scientists never really thought aliens were to blame, even if other people

did, but it still took more than a decade to figure out what was to blame.

In 2014, a special radio detector was installed which was designed to listen for Earth-based

interference, and it quickly found the culprit: a perfectly ordinary microwave oven.

Really.

Microwaves heat food by using, well, microwaves, which are a kind of radio wave, to excite

the water molecules within the food.

Normally, the machine's outer casing keeps that energy inside... unless, of course, you

get too impatient and open the door too early, because you need your Hot Pocket, like, now.

Those bursts aren't dangerous to us, but one of the world's most sensitive antennas

had no trouble picking them up.

And that caused the mysterious perytons.

So, once again… we have not discovered aliens. Yet.

And if you're wondering why we haven't found aliens yet, well,

so are we, and so was Enrico Fermi.

You can learn more about his ideas in our episode on Fermi's paradox!

Child Development Administration Management - Duration: 2:40.

[ Music ]

My name is Cindy Stephens, and I teach in our early childhood department.

Well, there is a demand for early childhood workers.

I mean certainly families are always growing

and we need qualified people to take care of children.

It is a tough job.

You know, we're of service to children and families, and so we need to work in a place

that provides us with the support that we need to be really good with the children

and families that we interact with.

The first thing I would do is I would job shadow somebody.

Work side by side with somebody that you eventually would like to have their job

so that you can get a clear picture if it's for you.

The jobs that are available to them certainly could be the director of a preschool.

They could be the site supervisor of a state-funded program.

They can also choose to do other things with that certificate that may not lead

to administration, may just be working with children.

Education is so much more than just like filling a vessel with all of the information

that we think is important for someone to know.

So the skills that I think are really important in working in the field

of child development is knowing how to be a really asute listener, being able to be present

to how a child is growing without comparing it to a measurement scale of where they should be.

You have to be silly.

You have to have a reckless abandon to be able to play and to get into the world of the child.

And I also think that you need to know that we have an obligation as educators to be the voice

of children and to know that there's an advocacy piece to everything that we do in education.

Well, the wonderful thing about community college is that our mission is that we believe

in students' success, and so we're a student ready college,

which means that we meet the students where they are.

Just like in an early childhood program, you meet children where they are.

We're not preparing you for the next level.

We're meeting you where you are so that we can help you to work on the things that you need

to be successful in the career that you choose.

And our teaching methodology is much more engaging

than maybe being in a four-year institution.

2 meses tomando vitaminas Hairfinity, O CABELO CRESCEU? - Duration: 4:01.

Hello, this is Kety Ginger and welcome to my channel!

Today I'm here to give you an update on my treatment with Hairfinity vitamins,

this time about my two months of use.

There's already a video here on my channel about the first month that I was taking the vitamins,

and now that I completed 2 months I came to tell you what I'm thinking about it.

In the video about the first month, I give all the information about the vitamins and talk a little

about the other hair vitamins that they have, so if you want to know

about vitamins, what they do, how they work, watch this other

video that I'm going to leave here in the linked card.

In the second month I continued taking Vitamins the same way as the first,

which is how the usage mode says. 2 capsules a day with meals, for me it's always

at lunch and dinner.

The vitamins gave me no side effect, I don't even know what kind of effect they

could give me, but gave me absolutely nothing.

In these two months I didn't have excessive hair fall, as I was having

a while ago, a typical hair loss for a hair this size.

Because you know that the hair falls, wanting you or not, it falls, if I'm not mistaken,

100 hair strands per day.

And the fastest growth is really remarkable in my hair because my hair does not

grows that fast.

Or it grows at a normal pace or a slow bit up.

So the growth is remarkable and you will see this in the pictures that I'll show you now.

Just ignore the tips of my hair because they're really dried out because during the time

off the treatment I did not cut my hair not even the tips of the hair, so please ignore them.

Now you will see before starting taking the vitamins, and then with 1 month taking the vitamins, and then with two months completed.

Since I did that first video, many people came to me to talk to me about these

vitamins, but not people who watch me at my channel, people who are around me,

friends, family, people that always see me and see my hair in person, say "These vitamins

are doing very well to your hair because your hair does not grow so fast"

and everyone now wants to take vitamins, I was impressed with the amount

of people around me, people close to me, wanting to take vitamins because they saw what

they made to my hair.

So, honestly, I think they really worth it for you if you want to have a long

and healthy hair without making those crazy recipes that sometimes can hurt

your hair, that we find out here on the Internet.

And specially if your hair is that slow growing type,

I think the vitamins will help a lot.

I just will not keep taking them now that I completed these 2 months because my hair is already really big,

isn't it?!

It is already in the size I wanted, so since I don't need it

to grow more than this, I'll stop taking the vitamins for now.

But if I still wanted my hair to be bigger, like, in my foot, I would certainly continue

taking the vitamins.

I'm already missing them, actually.

But I do not recommend them only for those want to make the hair grow, but for those

who has the hair very damaged, that made various treatments withs masks,

cheap or expensive masks, various treatments and did not work, it's because your hair

is in need of something inside, then I recommend these vitamins if your

hair it's like that.

So the vitamins are really approved, I really recommend, and the link to purchase

them will be down here in the description box. In the other video I talked about the price of them,

so give a look at my other video.

Tell us down here in the comments which are your tricks to make hair grow

faster and healthier.

And do not forget to click in the Like button down here in this video, and subscribe to my channel

because I'm always talking about hair here, products reviews or what

I do to my hair, what I am using in my hair in general, okay?!

Follow me on social media because I always notify new videos there.

Kisses and until next time!

Oh My God, Don't Text Them - Duration: 14:40.

I have two moods these days. This mood and what you're currently

looking at. You ever just wish you could you could give your beard growing

abilities to somebody who really wants them? Because I wish it every day of my

life. I don't want this. I don't want this. If I waited a couple weeks it would be a

full red beard and I don't want that. I can name like five people in my life who

want the ability to grow a beard and here I am with the ability to grow a

beard and I don't even want it. And that's how I know that that the universe

is a cruel mistress and that nothing in life is fair. I wanted to hop on here and I

wanted to talk about a thing that is like a sad thing but I don't want to

make it a sad thing, right? Cuz we're not doing that anymore. I got a message that

really stuck with me and I left it in my inbox for a while because I wasn't

really sure how to respond to it and I'm gonna try to. I'm still not really sure

how I'm going to respond to it but that's the fun of this. It was a

seemingly simple one-line question that seemed innocuous and just sort of

innocent, but when I read it, I realized I didn't really have an answer

for it because it's something that I'm living in my life right now. How do you

stop missing someone? It's loaded. It's loaded. It's really loaded. I miss a

lot of people in my life. I miss people who I've lost. I've missed friends who

have drifted apart from. I miss my family you know back on the East Coast. But

the question was asked in this framework; I miss people that I've dated. I miss

people that I've loved. I've missed people that I've been so intimate

and so open with who are no longer in my life and there's a part of me

that is always going to miss those people, yeah. I don't know what kind of

profound wisdom I have on the subject. It's probably not much because again

living it, but I'm gonna give it a whirl. One of the primary sort of catalysts in

in my kind of last 3-4 month transformative experience of just living

my truth honestly and openly, one of the biggest factors in that was a breakup. It

was a breakup. I find it almost disgustingly ironic that often times

it takes horrible things happening to us and terrible feelings inside and

being so unbelievably sad to kind of wake up to a lot of things and to start

taking risks again. We get comfortable and sometimes we need to be shaken up

And I hate that that's the reality, but my gosh that's that's the reality. It

would be foolish of me to to project this air of sort of infallibility of

like of like raw strength and saying that like I'm over it and I'm better and

I'm happy and I don't even miss 'em anymore because it's not true. And I

don't think it's really ever gonna be true. I still miss the relationship I had

my senior year of high school almost like freakin seven years ago oh my god. I

still miss that summer from time to time. I miss you know staying up late and

dropping her off and sitting on the porch till 4:00 a.m. because we didn't

want to say goodbye. I miss that. No experience is black or white good or bad

you know. All experiences that we have, even if some part of them were

really really inherently toxic, there's always good parts to it you know. We

don't make decisions that are completely against our self-interest. We do things

for a reason. We date people for a reason because there are good parts to it. And

the part that is so difficult is reconciling the decisions that were made

that have caused you to move forward in your life away from this person and

missing the good, you know? That's a tough tough thing. Another thing I'd be lying

about if I were to say it would be that I've never thought of reigniting it or

or messaging or doing any of that stuff. I've of course

thought of that. A big piece of advice to something that you're sure

is not gonna work is to oh my god oh my god don't text them. It didn't work for a

reason you know. You move forward in life and you can't move back can't look

back. It's really really rare that you can go back to something that didn't

work and then it works again on the second time. The

definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again and

expecting a different result and it's important to remember that

People do crazy things when they're in love

Yeah that's from Hercules and gosh it's true. People also do crazy things

when they fall out of love. They do crazy things to themselves. They do crazy

things to the people around them. They they do crazy things that are sometimes

crazy good things and all of that is part of life and part of, you know, A

mourning process that I think is entirely healthy. This is where friends

are very important. This is where people who are a bit more objective are very

important because I feel very very lucky that I've had people who have channeled

me and in really healthy directions with kind of my craziness. I'm gonna freakin

dye my hair black. I'm gonna buy heels. I'm gonna start wearing makeup hell yeah

I'm gonna do that and I'm gonna just embody that and it's and it's been

wonderful. Not to say that you can really be skilled at breakups because that's

such a ridiculous thing to say.But I feel like I've done this one pretty well

I feel like I've done it pretty well. I used to be so like like so skilled at

making myself like the center of the universe victim complex

Sort of like looking out the window in a car playing sad music

in your mind like you're in a music video kind of stuff. To the point that I

just grew comfortable in that feeling you know? Feeling that I was wronged in

some way that made me superior to the situation that I was like oh I didn't

deserve this. How sad for me that this thing happened to me like oh my gosh the

drama of it all. I think feeling sad chill you know. Feeling sad is chill and

important and I think I think good but don't get addicted to that, friends. Life

doesn't stop when you're sad and I think in some ways it's so important that you

don't allow life to stop when you're sad which is so much *sung* easier said than done!

Did you guys like my song? I would encourage everyone out there who

is um who's missing someone or who is sad, going through anything really, to

just even if it's the littlest thing. It doesn't have to be you overcome

this massive life struggle and you come out

victorious in the end. Try and find little victories for yourself. Emotional

wounds are much like physical wounds in that sometimes they take a very long

time to heal. A lot of times they need a lot of constant attention. You've got to

change the bandages every so often. And even then you can still end up

with a scar that's gonna be with you for the rest of your life reminding you of

that injury and that's all totally normal. The body produces scar tissue for

a reason and I think our emotions are no different you know. It happens. It's part

of the healing process. And maybe you wish you didn't have it in the first

place. Maybe you wish that I wasn't something that you had to go through. But

that reminder that part of you now has contributed to who you are as a person

and hopefully you're able to learn from it. Oh my gosh I know so many

people and one of those people is myself who have historically like

when bad stuff happens to them like using it as an excuse to like act out

and go crazy and just like be a jerk. But again, life

doesn't stop you know, and while it was never about you overall,

nothing is ever always entirely about you, even when you're sad,

that's still the case. I was watching a lot of my old videos recently

kind of going down memory lane and something that I was actually very very

good at kind of back in the day that I was kind of envious of and that I want

to tap back into is I used to be so good at using my feelings in a productive way.

All of my feelings. I used to preach it all the time as well and I still do. I

still believe it but it's something that I that it's like I'm trying to implement

again. Like yes I'm sad about this thing that happened in my life and I could use

it in a way that's very unhealthy. I could just act out. I could

lash out at people that I care about. I could just be reckless. I

could do all of those things, but how does that serve me? That's such

an important question to ask like all the time and I'm still learning how

to put it into place. But asking yourself the question how does this serve me

before acting on something. And if the way that it serves you is a

temporary high or it is sort of like something to fix it for now and make you

feel better to slap a bandaid on it if it doesn't like actually do anything for

your life it's so not worth doing. Say it's been a few months that you haven't been with a person and

you're missing them and you really wanna text

them. If you're being unhealthy something you could do is like "oh my gosh I'm like

so sad. I'm gonna call you. I'm gonna get drunk and use that as an excuse to

like call or text them and be like I miss you so much." And like again how

does that serve you? It doesn't. It also completely erases the other person from

the experience because that then puts them in a situation they probably

don't want to be in. I find that whenever you're dealing with kind of like a

long-term hurt is to try and chip away at it by looking internally but

sharing that sort of introspection externally. Because the danger with

looking at yourself is wallowing and sitting in there and then

all sudden it's like building up and you get more sad than you actually were and

then all of a sudden you're just like like "oh my god like where am I?" And it's

not a fun feeling to have. Something I really struggle with is letting

other people in. And letting them in beyond just sort of letting them know

how I'm feeling you know. Like letting them in in a way

that actually involves me listening and involves me even making a concerted

effort to to adapt my behavior to be more healthy, to be more content,

and to be productive as well. I'm a big fan of like checkpoints. I love

the arbitrary whatever of New Year's and all this kind of stuff. Any

opportunity that I have to kind of take stock of what I'm doing, take stock of

what I want to be doing, and make plans to kind of achieve those things, oh my

gosh I'm like so attracted to them. Look if I

could find a person in that form, oh I'd date the heck out of them. Oh

man I love that. I think change is the nature of life. I think if you

don't adapt you won't survive and I think doing the same thing over and over

again isn't always gonna work, you know? Even if you were wronged or you were the

one who is like the victim of a situation I think even then it's still

an important time to say okay how can I get stronger as a result of this and how

can I move forward in the best way possible? I'm very proud of of who I'm

becoming right now and I in a way am grateful for the experience of

this breakup that I went through, which is silly to say on the surface, but I

truly am. Finding ways to take the sad and to take the things that are

upsetting you or the people that you miss and those opportunities as a chance

to better yourself I think is really the only way forward. Because I'm alive man

you know. I'm here. I'm breathing. My heart's beating. I'm here. I'm living and

I'm part of the world and this human species. I might as well make the most of

it, you know? Do anything just for the reason that you might as well. It's

like art. Like what is art? Why do people do art? It's like because they

might as well do it you know. We're here. We were in the caves 10,000/20,000

years ago and we're like, "might as well freakin paint a freaking horse on there." Why? Cuz it looks

dope and I think it makes this place better and I think it gives me a chance

to do something that wasn't there before. Do it because why not, you know, because

the alternative is not doing anything and not doing anything is friggin

boring. I hope for myself and I also hope for anyone out there in the world

that we don't allow the things that happen to us to control us or to

paralyze us or to stop us. That's my hope, man. I'm constantly in awe and empowered

by my friends on YouTube, my friends on the Internet, my friends in real life who

I just see doing it every single day. Opening myself up to that

inspiration and being able to receive that from the outside world is just it's

always so great. It's so great allowing myself to be proud of the

people in my life. So how do you stop missing a person? I don't think you do. I

don't think you stop missing a person. I think what you can can do is you can

miss the good, is to heal from the bad, and to just keep moving forward. That's

gonna look different for every single person and I'm okay with that

I'm very chill with that. I want to turn this query onto you lovely people out

there in the world in the comments. If you have gone through something where

you've missed someone whether it's somebody you've dated somebody in your

family somebody just in general that you've missed, what's helped you? What has

inspired you to keep going on and and to move past this sad feeling thatt's

in your heart at the moment? Like, let me know in the comments. I

really want to read. I was looking through the comments of the last video

and there was so much good stuff in there like oh my gosh. I was

reading through. I'm so grateful for a lot of the responses to the last video

about dating oh my gosh. Like thank you guys. Thank you for that. I love having

paragraph comments to read. Oh my god. I love it so much. It's like one of my

favorite things that I've consistently had on YouTube over the years, oh my gosh.

I love it so much. As always, thank you guys so much for supporting me in

whatever way you do, whether it's just watching, whether it's commenting, whether

you're subscribed on patreon, anything like that. I love you I love you I love

you I love you. On the screen at some point there's going to be a playlist of

all my recent uploads. Please feel free to check that out if you haven't seen

any of my new uploads, cuz I'm back. If you

haven't seen me yet I'm back. That's about it. I'm gonna get off of here.

Thanks for chatting with me. Love you a lot and see you later.

Kellyanne Conway Loses Her Mind During Insane CNN Interview About Immigration - Duration: 6:57.

CNN's Chris Cuomo seems to be a glutton for punishment.

A couple weeks ago he had an interview with Kellyanne Conway that went off the rails pretty

quickly and so he decided this week to once again have Kellyanne Conway on for a very,

very long interview that went off the rails even faster than their last interview.

See, Chris Cuomo invited Kellyanne on to talk about the government shutdown ending and what

is in store for the future of DACA and immigration here in the United States.

It basically took less than a minute and a half for this interview to just go completely

insane.

Here's a clip of some of things that transpired in that interview.

It's a long clip.

The full 13 plus minute interview is linked to in the description of this video but take

a look at this clip and just see how crazy Kellyanne Conway became during this interview.

Said they don't need more manpower.

You just said that they don't need, everything's fine.

Everything's fine.

When did I say that?

Everything's not fine.

Does this work?

Does this work?

Everything's not fine at the border.

When did I say that?

I said that none of them say a wall is a panacea.

That's not true.

I've been with them.

That is not true that none of them say it.

I've been with them.

Okay, Christopher, so you took a trip to a border.

I think that's lovely.

You wore khaki's that day and took a trip to the border and the rest ...

I didn't wear khaki's.

And the rest of your life you spend in Manhattan.

Stop it.

These are honorable people at the border fighting everyday for your freedom and your safety.

Cut it out.

I don't want the poison coming over the border and into my community.

Kellyanne.

Do you?

Kellyanne, if you think that ...

Do you think it's right?

You're going to distract ...

Do you think a sovereign nation ...

If you think you're going to distract by telling me that I'm some type of urbane guy who doesn't

care about border patrol agents, that's silly.

We both know.

I figured if I made it about you you'd at least stop talking for a second and you did.

We both know, I'll tell you what.

I'll send you a transcript of this.

I want to tell you something.

When we're done with the interview and I guarantee you three to one words over me.

Three to one.

I want to tell you something.

You know how I know that?

The idea that ...

'Cause I've looked at all the transcripts and you're always at least three to one over

me.

That's good, I'm the guest, I'm supposed to talk.

But then you can't have it both ways.

See, that's the problem, you want it both ways.

He cares about the Dreamers.

I'm just reading.

He cares about the Dreamers but he's going to attach things and not give them a clean

bill and he's going to put out an ad saying that they're all monsters who are terrorists.

And then the White House says, "It's not us."

Is that true Kellyanne?

Christopher, where is the bill?

I just want a specific.

He signed it.

It's no longer a bill.

No, no, no, no, no.

I know that.

I'm very excited, he signed it minutes before I walked out here, we just all got the text

messages from the OMB that we're able to, our colleagues are able to go back to work

tomorrow.

I think that's wonderful for people who have been white knuckled all weekend wondering

when the Democrats were going to grow up, reopen the government so we can reopen negotiations

on what they say they care about DACA.

But hold on, I am not going to let it lie that a sovereign nation like ours doesn't

deserve to have a physical border.

We have spent billions over decades protecting other nations.

We do have a physical border.

We need to, no don't.

It is porous and the idea that we have a catch and release law where we catch someone who's

coming over illegally and they get released into the interior of the United States, we

can't do anything with them.

What are you talking about?

Do you understand that we are trying ...

What circumstances does somebody catch someone crossing the border illegally and then let

them go?

Many.

They can't detain them after a while.

There are many circumstances.

What do you mean after a while?

What are you talking about?

How many of Donald Trump's 70 points in his immigration plan have you read or do you know?

Zero, you never sent it to me.

Not many because Democrats, oh it's posted for all to see.

The President announced it about two months ago.

He has a 70 point plan, why did Mitch McConnell say he doesn't know where he is on immigration?

It's merit based.

It's merit based.

Why did Mitch McConnell say he doesn't know where he is?

Christopher, I think Mitch McConnell did a great job today holding his conference together.

Good then answer my question.

Then why does he say he doesn't know where the President is?

And patiently working with the President all weekend.

Then why does he say he doesn't know where the President is?

I know this is very disappointing to many people who thought they could talk about a

shutdown, have the shutdown day.

Why does Mitch McConnell say he doesn't know where the President is?

But look what we didn't do.

We didn't weaponize the shutdown because we weren't in charge of it.

The Democrats did it and they weaponized the shutdown.

It didn't work so well for you last time in 2013.

This time it's the first shutdown we've ever had with one party in control of both houses

of Congress and the White House 'cause you weren't able to work with the other side.

The problem with shut, Christopher, they started the shutdown.

They had to end it.

What, were we supposed to work with them and help them shut down the government?

They're a minority in the Senate.

You should have worked with them.

You should have figured it out.

Wait, hold on.

The leadership wasn't doing that.

Work with them to do what?

They didn't reach out.

Chris, work with them to do what?

All right, I gotta take a break.

We need nine other votes.

We needed nine other votes.

You know what they should've done on Friday night?

They should've given us nine and not five Friday or Saturday night.

They should've given us nine votes.

You should've offered.

And said you need to get 51.

You should've offered them something.

Now they showed why they're in the minority.

We saw once and for all tonight that they killed, they're going to kill themselves in

the midterms.

What's really scary about watching Kellyanne Conway speak is the fact that she lies with

such impunity.

That it is easy to see why people get sucked into her.

She believes what she's saying.

She doesn't think that these are lies.

This is the reality in which she lives.

Anyone trying to contradict her or present her with facts and figures and statistics

is a liar.

There is something mentally wrong with Kellyanne Conway and I do firmly believe that she is

the most dangerous member of the Trump administration because she has no problem lying.

I mean, yes they all lie.

They all lie constantly.

But the passion with which Kellyanne Conway pulls it off is what is so terrifying about

her.

That is why these media outlets love her.

CNN loves it because they can make a fool of her which they clearly did in that interview.

Fox News loves her because her lies confirm everything that that network lies about all

day long.

She is their darling.

She is great for their ratings and they know that she's going to give them gold every time

whether by confirming what they believe, like on Fox News or by making a complete ass of

herself as she does on CNN.

Personally I think Chris Cuomo should move on.

It's funny to watch her sit there and flail and get loud and yell and accuse him of wearing

khakis as if that was relevant to anything at all but I don't think he should have her

back on and I don't think any nonpartisan, bipartisan or even partisan media outlet should

extend her another invitation.

She is a cancer on this country.

And what do you do with cancer?

You have it removed.

And these networks need to have their Kellyanne Conway cancer removed from the air immediately.

Which Are The Real Photos of Spacecraft? They're Out There and They're Amazing - Duration: 12:44.

The internet.

It gives us an instant connection to the some of human knowledge, but it also lets misinformation

travel at the speed of light.

Everyday I get comments about how people will believe we've been to space after I show

them evidence of actual spacecraft taken in space and not CGI mock-ups.

Challenge accepted.

Here come a whole bunch of photos of spacecraft taken in space.

Actually, I don't really care if you believe it or not.

I was just so excited about some of the fantastic pictures of spacecraft - taken by spacecraft

- that I decided to dedicate a whole episode to it.

For starters, I've got to address the elephant in the room.

Why are there so many illustrations and computer graphic images of spacecraft and not real

photos of spacecraft?

Here's the answer.

Spacecraft aren't equipped with selfie sticks.

I mean, it would be cool to have the spacecraft take a picture of itself while Saturn photobombs

the background, but that weight is better used with additional fuel or scientific payload.

Scientists are completely unconcerned about having to prove anything to anyone, and they'd

prefer to maximize the science coming back from their spacecraft.

So, whenever you see an image of a spacecraft that's out there in space, all alone, then

it's going to be an artist's illustration.

Here's the Voyager spacecraft flying through space, except it's a computer graphic, obviously.

Here's the Pioneer passing Jupiter.

I mean, here's a painting of Pioneer and Jupiter, because there's no way to actually

take a photograph of this moment.

NASA and the other space agencies will also create CGI renderings of spacecraft that don't

exist yet, to give us an idea of what it might look like when it gets created.

Like the James Webb Space Telescope that hasn't even been launched yet.

Here's what it really looks like, getting worked on in the lab here on the ground before

its launch.

I provide you with plenty more examples.

But in general, if you see a "photograph" or video of a spacecraft, and you're not

sure if it's real or not, just ask yourself, who could have taken the picture.

Also, if the image looks too good and clean, then it's probably computer graphics.

But the reason this is actually an episode is that the question got me thinking of some

really amazing pictures and videos I've come across in my years of space reporting.

Photographs of spacecraft taken by humans, or other spacecraft which are absolutely amazing

and worthy of wonder.

This gives me an incredible opportunity to show you some of the coolest pictures ever

taken, and I'm going to take it.

So here's the deal.

For the rest of this episode, I'm only going to show you actual pictures of spacecraft,

taken from the ground or in space.

No artist renderings, paintings or computer graphics.

First up, let's do some pictures from the Apollo missions.

One of the classic videos used over and over again is the Saturn V rocket tossing its 3rd

stage back as it continues its mission towards the Moon.

I like this, and it's iconic, but check out this one.

This was during the launch of Apollo 3 on a Saturn 1B rocket.

You're seeing the command module and upper stage detach from the second stage, captured

by a camera inside the stage.

The spacecraft flies out and then the stage tumbles towards Earth.

In the last moment, the camera is ejected out so that it can return to Earth and the

film to be recovered.

There it is, right… there.

Imagine the engineering required to get this automated shot and retrieve the film.

All before digital cameras could beam their images back to Earth.

By 1975, the race to get humans to the Moon was over, but the Americans and Soviets were

still launching people into space.

To begin a new partnership, the two nations agreed to have their spacecraft dock with

one another in orbit.

Three astronauts and two cosmonauts piloted their spacecraft together, and docked in space

for 44 hours.

Both the Apollo capsule and Soyuz were equipped with cameras that captured the docking procedure.

Then they detached and returned to Earth.

Actually, there was a pretty scary mishap for the Americans during their re-entry where

a valve was accidentally left open and toxic fumes came into the cabin.

There are plenty more examples during the Gemini and Apollo missions.

Docking spacecraft together was one of the great accomplishments of this era, and there

are many amazing examples.

But I think I like this, during the first US spacewalk, where astronaut Ed White is

floating at the end of an 8-metre tether above the Earth.

It must have been terrifying and exhilarating.

The photo was captured by his crewmate, James McDivitt.

Astronaut Bruce McCandless passed away last week.

He was a mission specialist of two flights of the space shuttle.

But he was the first person to fly untethered out in space using NASA's Manned Maneuvering

Unit.

It's an iconic photograph and an incredible accomplishment.

Back when the space shuttle was flying, I always loved to see the high resolution images

captured as it was approaching the International Space Station.

There was a very practical reason for these photographs, the Columbia Disaster.

In 2003, the space shuttle Columbia was destroyed as it was re-entering the Earth's atmosphere.

A chunk of foam from its external fuel tank dislodged during the launch, impacted the

shuttle's wing and tore out a chunk of its protective heat tiles.

During re-entry, hot gases made their way into the shuttle and the spacecraft was lost,

including all 7 astronauts on board.

NASA vowed to never let that happen again, so they did an incredibly detailed scan of

the shuttle after launch to make sure there weren't any damaged tiles.

The shuttles would extend their Canadarm with a specially built camera system and scan the

tiles with incredible detail.

The astronauts on board the ISS would also visually observe the shuttle as it was approaching

the station.

As the shuttle departed, they would take some final pictures of the International Space

Station floating high above the Earth.

Here's an image that you might not have seen, though.

Here's the space shuttle Atlantis after it had undocked from the station, and it was

re-entering the Earth's atmosphere.

In fact, when the shuttles were landing in Florida, people in Texas would see the shuttle

pass overhead and hear the twin sonic booms.

I'm sure you've seen plenty of launch videos, from the Apollo era to the space shuttle

as well as commercial and military launches.

We now see high quality images and videos of launching and landing rockets, thanks to

SpaceX.

In fact, during all SpaceX launches now, they provide continuous coverage of the launch,

from liftoff.

The footage splits so you can watch the first stage return to Earth and land on the ground

or a floating barge in the ocean.

The second stage continues to space, carrying its cargo into orbit.

It's hypnotic, and I try to watch every one.

The most powerful telescope ever sent to another world is on board NASA's Mars Reconnaissance

Orbiter.

In general, it's used to take incredibly detailed images of the surface of Mars, down

to a resolution of a meter across.

But occasionally it's been called in to take images of other spacecraft.

Here's a photo it took of NASA's Curiosity Rover as it was landing back in 2012.

You can actually see the parachute deployed and the landing system suspended down below.

Amazing.

It's also photographed Curiosity hard at work on the Martian surface, as well as the

Spirit and Opportunity Rovers, the Viking landers.

Perhaps its greatest detective work was to find the missing Beagle 2 lander, lost in

since it crashed in 2003.

When the European Space Agency's Rosetta spacecraft began its mission at Comet 67P,

it detached the smaller Philae spacecraft to try and land safely on the surface of the

comet.

Unfortunately, the extremely low gravity messed up its landing, causing it to bounce unpredictably.

For the longest time, nobody knew where the lander went.

Finally, some detective work turned up Philae, turned over on its side on the surface of

the comet, seen by the orbiting Rosetta spacecraft.

Oh, I said that spacecraft aren't equipped with selfie sticks, but Rosetta did catch

this cool image of itself approaching the comet.

Here's a picture of NASA's Curiosity Rover on the surface of Mars, but how did it take

the picture?

It actually does have a selfie stick, kind of.

Curiosity is equipped with a robotic arm and an instrument called the Mars Hand Lens Imager.

The rover can move the arm around its entire chassis, taking dozens of pictures which are

then assembled together on computer to create this composite.

This arm allows Curiosity to take close up pictures of interesting rocks and terrain,

and operators back on Earth to keep track of the damage to the rover's wheels.

All of the spacecraft on the surface of the Moon have been photographed from space too.

NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter is at the Moon, helping scientists study the lunar

surface.

They're mostly interested in craters, lava tubes, and fields of rock, dust and ancient

lava flows, but they took a few images of some Apollo hardware as well.

They've got pictures of all the Apollo landing sites, where you can make out the landers

and other hardware, and even the footstep paths taken by the astronauts as they wandered

across the lunar surface.

But probably the best one is Apollo 15, when they had the Lunar Roving Vehicle, and drove

around the surface of the Moon.

You can see the tire tracks from their exploration.

In a previous episode, we talked about how spacecraft die.

Most of the time this happens at a random spot on Earth, but if you get the calculations

right, you can take pictures of the moment it's happening.

The European Space Agency's Jules Verne automated transfer vehicle re-entered the

Earth's atmosphere in 2008.

ESA operators knew exactly where it was going to crash back through the Earth's atmosphere,

and they were able to take this stunning video of the spacecraft burning up.

We've talked about spacecraft and astronauts taking pictures of other stuff in space.

But now I wanted to tell you how you can take pictures of spacecraft all on your own, from

down here on Earth.

And we'll get to that in a second, but first I'd like to thank:

Val Parks David Gines

Jeff Wilkie

And the rest of our 785 patrons for their generous support.

If you love what we're doing and want to get in on the action, head over to patreon.com/universetoday.

You, yes you can see spacecraft with your own eyeballs.

You can see the International Space Station, the Hubble Space Telescope and and various

objects in low Earth orbit.

The best way to do this is to go to a website like Heavens Above.

It'll show you the current location of all the satellites orbiting Earth and calculate

when a specific one is going to be flying over your location.

For example, the International Space Station.

At the appointed time, head outside and watch the space station pass overhead.

If you use a pair of binoculars, you can see the station's solar panels making it look

at bit like a Tie Fighter.

And if you want to get really fancy, you can use a website called Transit Finder, that'll

let you calculate when ISS is going to pass directly in front of the Moon from a location

near you.

It's hard to track the space station with a telescope, but if you know where it's

going to be, you can take pictures of the Moon instead, and get ISS passing in front.

One of my favorite photographers is Thierry Legault, who's based in France and takes

this technique to the logical extreme, capturing images of ISS during eclipses, or seeing spacecraft

dock.

And here's another amazing photographer, Szabolcs Nagy based in London who takes his

own amazing images of spacecraft.

So, if you're looking for a new hobby and you want to take your astronomy to the next

level, try this.

What an amazing time to be alive.

To have so many spacecraft buzzing around the Solar System, with more on the way.

What are rare pictures now will be commonplace in the future, and I can't wait to share

them with you.

Did I forget any awesome images of spacecraft taken in space?

Let me know in the comments and maybe I can do a part 2.

Do you want to know when we release a new episode.

Are you worried that YouTube is going to accidentally unsubscribe you?

I've created an email mailing list to announce new videos when we post them.

I'll put a link to the mailing list in the shownotes below.

In our next episode we'll talk about biosignatures.

What kinds of chemicals would we need to detect in the atmosphere of an extrasolar planet

to know that there's life there.

It's a surprisingly tricky problem.

That's next time.

And finally, here's a playlist

So What If I Look Different? - Duration: 2:42.

I was born with a rare syndrome called tilted disc syndrome. It affects 1 to 2

percent of the population and I was one of the unfortunate ones to get it.

This caused my eye to be in this awkward location.

My parents didn't notice it until I was 3 and when I finally went to the doctor

for the first time to see about the problem, they said they couldn't do

anything about it. So for most of my childhood I had to live with this

appearance. This caused a lot of bullying and a lot of kids to call me ugly and a

lot of kids thought I was blind. I didn't trust anyone except a few friends who I

had who didn't care about how I looked. Around this time there was a new book

that came out called "Wonder". So I finally decided to read it and this gave me a

lot of inspiration to stand up because even though I was born with this weird

syndrome, I knew I was still beautiful. it's just the other kids were too blind

to see it. I got through my elementary school years,

and I finally got the treatment I needed so then I could have a normal appearance.

Though there were a lot of side effects. I did get sick and I got a lot of

headaches but that was only for a few months and then finally I was good. But

they had to plant these metal implants so then my eye could be adjusted and

that caused some weird facial expressions. So whenever I grinned it

would look really weird and whenever I was looking over at someone my eyes

would be really wide open. A lot of kids started to call me "The Devil" and it was

really really sad. It's caused a lot of depression and me though I thought of

what the Wonder kid Auggie would do and I realized that who cares...You be you.

You're amazing. I just went with that throughout my middle school years.

I'm a freshman in high school now and I don't care how I look I don't care if I have a

weird facial expression. I don't care if I once was a freak. I just be myself and

that is what gets you through life. So now all those people who are being

bullied out there for their looks. just remember you

are beautiful on the inside and that's all that matters.

Plot Twists That Basically Ruined the Movie - Duration: 6:40.

A well-crafted plot twist can take a movie from good to great—in fact, some movies

are regarded as classics specifically because of twists that completely recontextualize

the story.

But sending the narrative in an unexpected direction sometimes just ends up making a

film worse.

As great as it feels to be surprised by an excellent plot twist, these movies would have

been better off without them.

As always, beware the spoilers ahead.

Remember Me

There's nothing wrong with a simple romance movie, and as far as that element goes, Remember

Me isn't too bad.

Its leads, Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin, are solid enough

in their roles and boast some nice chemistry.

And while it may veer into cliché, the film still certainly has its charms.

But all of that goes completely and inexplicably down the drain in the movie's final moments.

The film has become infamous for its final act, which reveals that the entire story has

been leading up to Robert Pattinson's character being in the World Trade Center on September

11th.

It's a subject matter that Remember Me bungles badly, taking a horrific tragedy and using

it as cheap emotional manipulation.

"I mean, why aren't you RIVETED?"

Aside from being deeply insensitive, it's also a case of blown potential, as the romantic

drama is just fine without resorting to the careless and contrived finale.

The Village

The biggest problem with The Village is that its twist turns it into a much worse movie.

Writer-director M. Night Shyamalan's last-act plot twists helped launch his career, but

they ended up becoming notorious to the point of parody after this one.

The horror film appears to center on a small 19th century village, which has been surrounded

by mysterious monsters, but it's actually revealed that the creatures don't exist.

They're just the town elders in costume, trying to scare people into staying put in their

safe community.

That's all well and good enough until the second twist arrives to reveal the film actually

takes place in the modern day, and the village elders created these monsters to keep their

people protected from the woes of the outside world.

With just the first twist in place, the movie might work as solid social commentary, but

the second rug pull makes the movie needlessly convoluted.

Spectre

Given the film's title, it's not surprising that Spectre centers on the villainous organization

headed up by Ernst Blofeld, one of 007's greatest villains, or that Christoph Waltz was brought

in to portray the criminal mastermind, despite some slack attempts at secrecy.

"So, thank you, cuckoo."

But instead of simply rebooting the iconic villain, Waltz's character is also eventually

revealed to be Bond's adoptive brother, making a surprise return after faking his own death.

The twist is completely superfluous: the original Blofeld is a force of pure evil, and he doesn't

need to be tied to Bond in any way to be effective.

The revelation that Bond has a secret brother who ended up orchestrating the events in the

previous Daniel Craig-led Bond films strains all credibility for his run in the franchise.

"It was me, James.

The author of all your pain."

Put simply, it's a twist that twists too hard.

Savages

Oliver Stone's film adaptation of Savages initially seems to end like the book— with

the demise of basically every character providing a sort of closure.

It also fits in well with the way the storytellers want viewers to see the three main characters—they're

too wild for this world, and it only makes sense for them to go out in a blaze of glory.

Unfortunately, Stone tacks on a twist wherein the ending is revealed to be an elaborate

fantasy playing out in the head of one character.

Instead, the bad guys get arrested and the good guys get out clean, riding off into the

sunset.

This disjointed happy ending isn't just a cheat—it feels like a painfully safe move.

High Tension

When crafting a good plot twist, it's incredibly important to consider whether it upends the

plausibility of the story.

Unfortunately for Alexandre Aja's High Tension, its Hail Mary of a twist ending—in which

the killer is revealed to be a dissociative identity of the protagonist—sends plausibility

down the drain.

The film, up until that point, is a pretty straightforward slasher that stands out for

its artful gore.

So why the needless twist?

Shots filmed from the villain's point of view make little sense after the twist, and the

film's opening is even more confusing when it's watched while knowing who the killer

turns out to be.

Secret Window

Speaking of misuse of dissociative identity disorder, Secret Window also stumbles in its

presentation of the illness.

It should be a slam dunk of a movie.

Based on a Stephen King short story, it's about a writer who retreats to a cabin in

the woods to craft his next book, only to be confronted by a deranged stranger named

Shooter who claims he has plagiarized one of his works.

"You stole my story."

Tensions between the two escalate and eventually turn to violence.

The twist is that Shooter doesn't exist and is instead a result of our lead's mental unwellness,

which—conveniently—has never manifested in the movie until this moment.

Sometimes this twist works, like with Fight Club and Primal Fear.

But in Secret Window, it comes off as uninspired, which is ironic considering how much we hear

about stories needing to stick the landing throughout.

"The only thing that matters is the ending."

Scream 3

The first film in the Scream franchise features a twist that is revelatory for the horror

genre: there are two culprits behind the film's slaughter spree, not just one.

"Surprise Sidney."

The twist is so good that it's repeated in the sequel, Scream 2, and still mostly works.

For the third film, though, the filmmakers go with a new twist, it ends up being just

plain dumb.

Part of the reason the first two films in the franchise enjoy such reverence is that

they function as critiques of the genre—they're self-aware, and skewer the typical tropes

that had started to bore audiences.

The problem with Scream 3's needlessly complicated reveal is that it resembles something from

the films the franchise itself satirizes.

The revelation that the baddie in this film is Scream protagonist Sidney's secret half-brother—and

that he has effectively orchestrated the events of the entire series—is completely unbelievable.

It's a jump-the-shark moment in a franchise that scoffs at cliche and closes out the original

series with a whimper instead of, well, a scream.

But, hey, credit to Stu for trying to tie everything together and save the story…

again.

"If you find yourself dealing with a backstory and a preponderance of exposition, then the

sequel rules do not apply."

Second Day Hair Routine! | Hashtag Zoe - Duration: 6:35.

hey guys it's Zoe welcome back to my channel so for today's video I have my

second day hair routine so when I see second day hair routine sometimes it

could be like third or fourth day but obviously I still take a shower I just

don't wash my hair when I'm in the shower every single day like it's fun

look I have super long thick hair and there's a lot of it here okay and I

don't have time to freaking wash it every single night

that's like a lot of time cuz I have to get in the shower and then wash my body

like normal because I got a shower you know what I mean because I hope you do

too please and then I also have to like shampoo it and I have to condition and

then sometimes I have to condition it again and then I brush it in the shower

so it takes a long time and then I have to freaking dry and I have to do my hair

it's just second day hair routine it is so just a quick like not disclaimer but

just letting you guys know this is not my natural curly state I do have curly

hair but recently I curled my hair like two days ago or yesterday honestly can't

remember but I took a shower don't worry this is just uh this is just not what my

normal curls look like so usually my second day hair is in a ponytail because

I cannot have my hair down the entire day so I end up putting it up in a bun

wearing a ponytail like so and then the next morning I just take it out and it's

gonna look something like this

obviously this is not a cute look my hair is like so what I really like to do

and I usually don't do this too often but for the sake of this video I decide

to show you guys my scalp massage routine it's in my second - hair routine

so I just really like to massage my scalp you know healthy so the next step

in my second day hair routine I use dry shampoo it's supposed to make your oily

hair not oily because it's dry shampoo so it cleans your hair without obviously

getting it wet I don't know oily hair but like I use it because I don't know

first of all it smells really good so that's that's kind of the reason why

I use it cuz I don't want my hair to smell bad you know second day hair

anyway you're supposed to spray it in on your scalp and then like kind of massage

it in so you guys get to scalp massages in one routine okay so after the dry

shampoo I don't need that anymore we're gonna move on to figuring out a

hairstyle because now that my hair is technically clean because obviously we

shampooed it uhm shampooed I don't word after clean to my hair

we're gonna have to figure out a hairstyle so let's do that I just kind

of part it right here this is where I normally apartment here I bring it all

to one side and I try to part my hair into threes but because I hear is very

tangled and knotted right now that's might take a while so now that I

have my three sections all kind of I'm just gonna start braiding my hair and

hopefully it works

I call this the frozen look um Elsa really I just she's my inspiration and

yeah subscribe so I just like to pull up actually this looks terrible I'm just

gonna move on to the next hairstyle so that's also part of my hair care routine

not knowing what hairstyle to do and like going to like a billion hairstyle

so let's move on to the next one shall we

but next I usually go for a high ponytail just to keep it out of my face

and off of my neck that's uncomfortable especially the second day hair no thank

you so we're just gonna go for a high

ponytail all your hair back put it up high on your head Felicia whoo first of

all I look like I'm 5 years old like have like the sprout hair I used to have

that was it what it was a look then but I don't think it should be a look now

and just I don't click in 5 you know what when all else fails just throw your

hair in a messy bun because technically 2nd or 3rd or 4th day hair is messy

anyway right guys comment down below the color of your hair

mine's brunette but I'm just wondering what color your hair is

ok so this is a really good look up

okay not this kind of messy fun I'm talking about like an actual messy bun

so let's do that so it's not that messy but it's still like a messy bun cause

your hair's messy it's like dirty you know okay so a trick that I learned

actually when I was in Jamaica they were braiding my hair and to like put the

flyaways down because I have a lot of those like baby hairs are where it's at

I guess they used that saline to slick my hair down and it honestly it sounds

crazy because Vaseline like I used for chopstick or like I don't really know

what else it's used for but now I use it to sleep back my hair so I just take a

little bit deal with this and literally just slick my hair back and it's like a

hair gel and this one smells good too this smells like cocoa butter and it's

super good anyway guys thanks so much for watching if you enjoyed this video

please give it a big thumbs up and subscribe if you're not already if you

need my channel what's up I hope you enjoyed the video and if you're not new

with our channel I also hope you enjoyed the video I will see you guys in my next

video okay I'm definitely gonna need to

go wash my hair right now see ya

So Much Glue - Upcycling Boxes - Duration: 7:55.

I, I, I need a pap- I NEED A PAPER TOWEL!

hi everybody, I'm Amanda the G

let's drink and make crafts

I really don't care about my old intro to this right now

that's my new drunk crafting intro, at least for this video

at this point, I've determined that the only things that I need

are whiskey

and a wine glass

it looks like truffula trees to me

which is awesome

and everybody needs a THNEED!

what craft are we doing today?

well I'm kinda makin' somethin' up

so let's make a goddamn box look pretty

if you wanna make this too, you wanna make a goddamn box look pretty, you need number one

a goddamn box

this is one of the singles swag boxes, it's got a hole in it

doesn't matter

cause this part's gettin' cut off anyway

you need scissors probably

I'm guessing

you need bitch face

and a shit ton of glue, probably

so we got a bunch of these

you need some fabric

this was a pillow at one point

and my dog destroyed it

and you need some rope

I don't need this

(crash)

ok that took entirely too long

but thanks to the magic of editing

you dodn't have to see it

um, probably should've done that before the video started, but it's too fucking late now

I don't know if this is big enough

but I'm fucking goin' with it

I don't know if I have enough rope, but I'm fucking going wwwhhhlll it

goooi- going with it

yup, this is goin' well

happy 2018 people!

HOW ARE YOU LEAKING?!

so this actually like isn't enough fabric, but I'm going with it anyway

I'm just gonna shove it on the inside, fucking glue it down, fuckin'-

fuckin' go with it

does any of this shit ever work out when I do it?

no

that's probably why you're fucking watchin' it

(sing-song) it doesn't work out when I try and do shit

now you're supposed to actually, like, cut out the corners and give a flying fuck

but I don't

I don't want to

glue a shit ton of crap

other side! glue it!

the only good thing about hot glue is that it dries fast

because when it gets cold

it just- it's just DRY

SCIENCE!

shit NO

(gasp)

(gutteral) NOOOOOOOOOOOOO

something that everyone should realize about crafts

is literally everyone can do them

they look like they're fancy, they look like they're hard

I'm drunk as hell doing crafts

you can fuckin' do it

if you wanna do it

do it

it's just fucking tedious

that's all crafts are, crafts are just fucking tedious

a couple of them require some sort of skill and learning

but a lot of this shit is just

spend time on it

why did you click?

OW

WHY ARE YOU SUCH A BITCH?

this is what we have so far, it looks like fuckin' hell

I may or may not destroy this

so then here's my thought, I'm just gonna put it

like around the top

so it looks-

prettier than it does right now

now I've glued this lovely thing around-

around the top

I'm gonna glue it onto the inside

so it- it's not stupid

warning, if you do this project

(slurring) this is where we're at right now

where we are right now

words are hard

um, fucking glued around the top

um

you need a shit ton of hot glue

this is rope

this is leftover from a previous drunk crafting

where I made a fucking trivet

trivet, trivet-

trivet's a really fucking hard word to say when you're drunk, by the way

there is an entire drunk crafting playlist actually-

look at me! drunk and still promoting myself

there's a full drunk crafting playlist

and you should watch

the drunk crafting playlist if you enjoy this

because

I've gotten drunk a lot and made a lot of crafts

(laughing) I don't know if that's something I should be proud of or not

now all you do is go around the top

congratulations, you probably already fucking figured that out

congratulations, you're brilliant

you're brilliant

and you know what?

even if you didn't figure it out

you're brilliant

cause everybody is brilliant in their own way about their own thing

ok?

you only have to give a shit about the front of any project

if anything is gonna go against a wall

or against something else

the only thing you have to give a shit about is the front!

fuck up the back as much as you want!

it doesn't fuckin' matter

nobody goes and snoops at the back of shit

people who go and snoop in your house

snoop at like

what medications you have

and maybe they read your diary if they're a REAL CREEPER

none of them pick up anything you've ever made ever and look at the back of it

SO MUCH STRING!

drooly bitch

this is a lot of glue

this is a lot of time and a lot of glue

I think I might actually have enough frikin' rope!

that's gonna be a first that I have enough of something, that I've actually like-

OH SHIT there's glue everywhere!

well I was just so proud of myself for not planning and still having enough materials

and then I fucking got glue all over my table!

bitch face droolin' all over the fucking place

so I'm not gonna go all the way up to the tippity top

because I have the fabric there and I don't really

want to, I kind of like the look of having a little bit of fabric hanging over

I'm gonna go around one more time I think

just one more time

that way I can make it look

pretty on the tippity top

and then you can say 'holy shit that's fucking gorgeous

and your bathroom is gonna be wonderfully organized

and shiz and all that crap'

and you're just like

'shit, Amanda the G, you made amazing crafts

and you're fucking drunk as a goddamn skunk

and you're whatever sheets to the wind' I don't remember how many

is it 5?

is it 4?

is it 3 sheets to the wind?

and that's what I would love to see in the comments

'Amanda, this is beautiful and you did a good job

and you entertained me, and it was funny, and I laughed

and I didn't remember all the shitty crap about life

for like

5 minutes or 10 minutes' or however long this video was

'and it was great, and you made a beautiful thing

and

you were drunk too

but it doesn't matter'

I lost my train of thought near the end of that

but you get it!

but if you don't feel it, don't write that comment!

there's your homework for today

write whatever comment you feel about this video

and about this project, even though it's not fucking done yet

in the comments

DOWN BELOW

and yes I'm POINTING at it, for no fucking reason

ok, here is what we made

look

it is a beautiful box

that's fully lined

with fabric-

over the top and the sides and all of that

and some rope on the outside

look at that box

this box is going in my bathroom, probably

I am too drunk to understand what it actually looks like

so I will deal with that later

let me know what you thought about this project

in the comments down below, and whatever comment you want to write

if you liked this video, click the like button

and subscribe to my channel

I make a new video every Tuesday and Friday

thank you guys so much for watching

MWAH!

(crash)

I have hot glue all over my finger and I legitimately did not feel a second of that

BREAKING!!! HILLARY Losing Her Mind After HACKERS Discover Millions in FRAUD & BRIBES! - Duration: 4:37.

BREAKING!!!

HILLARY Losing Her Mind After HACKERS Discover Millions in FRAUD & BRIBES!

TRUMP IS DRAINING THE SWAMP!!!

Former First Lady Hillary Clinton might be scrambling after she learned what just happened.

Anyone else would be considered a flight risk if they were in the same situation that she

is.

A hacker broke into some Clinton Foundation databases and uncovered some disturbing evidence

that leads to a possible revelation of the alleged Clinton crime syndicate.

The information attained could have her face prosecution, but since the evidence was hacked,

then it may not be admissible in court.

That's for a judge to decide.

No matter how they found it, the facts remain, and that should be how it works.

The information was gathered by a hacker known as Guccifer 2.0.

The hacker found their way into a Clinton Foundation database and what they've uncovered

could be the key to the battle against supposed Clinton corruption.

If the information is useful, then Guccifer 2.0 may have unraveled a way for us to travel

further down the rabbit hole than ever before.

No matter what you see next, keep an open mind as you peruse the hacked information.

It may be deleted one day, so view at your own risk and come to your conclusion on what

you see.

LibertyOneNews reported more on the hack and leaked documentation:

"We've been awaiting the highly anticipated Wikileaks announcement for about a week now,

but we know that Julian Assange delayed the release of the supposed bombshell files on

Hillary Clinton.

Apparently, that's too long for another hacker to wait.

Infamous hacker, named Guccifer 2.0 hacked his way into the Clinton Foundation databases

and uncovered some of the most damning evidence to date of the Clinton corruption.

Here's his message below and he got impatient and did some digging himself.

"Many of you have been waiting for this, some even asked me to do it.

So, this is the moment.

I hacked the Clinton Foundation server and downloaded hundreds of thousands of docs and

donors' databases."

When Barack Obama demanded that Congress approves more bailouts in 2009-11, it seems the big

banks through the Clinton Foundation offered kickbacks to Democratic politicians, including

crooked Hillary, to make sure the bailout was approved.

Somehow crooked Hillary also aided the big banks to bribe Democrat politicians.

Guccifer wrote, "DEMOCRATS FUNNELED TARP FUNDS BACK TO THEIR PACS!

That's taxpayer bailout money that went right to the pockets of Democrat PACs!"

Our money went right to the Democrats and their shady, back handed, back alley deals

with the big banks.

How are these people still running this country?

"Hillary Clinton and her staff don't even bother about the information security.

It was just a matter of time to gain access to the Clinton Foundation server.

It looks like big banks and corporations agreed to donate to the Democrats a certain percentage

of the allocated TARP funds."

It looks like Guccifer 2.0 uncovered one of the most corrupt money funneling scams in

political history.

If these documents are valid and someone speaks out, then it could be over for the Clinton

family.

A professional will likely browse the content and decide if justice will be held at the

highest court of the law, or if the information is not usable because of the way it was attained.

If there's one thing I know, it's that Americans want answers.

They want the truth.

They want to know if all of the accusations are true and to what extent.

Americans deserve to have the truth.

If taxpayer funds were being funneled into Clinton PACS, then do taxpayers get a return

on that?

Will people get their illegally funneled money back in their wallet somehow?

What can be done to give the taxpayers hope that their money won't be funneled into

PACS?

Americans want a transparent government that works for them and puts their tax money to

the most productive use possible.

It's OUR money.

We work for it.

We pay it.

We demand that our elected government does a better job spending our money.

What do you think it's like to be Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea right now?

Are they nervous?

Do you think they have an escape plan?

Are their lawyers working overtime to create a defense that will protect them in court?

Will a member of the Clinton family wear handcuffs?

How much swamp is left to drain?

what do you think about this?

- It's probably good, right?

- Looks all fresh

- Yea that's perfect.

- Perfect.

- How's it going?

- Just starting.

- Is it working out better that way?

- Yeah, I think the other way was just too tight.

- Really tight the other way.

- Yeah, if you divide and stuff. Yeah.

- Surprisingly so.

- Are you going to tack it to the middle part?

- He said don't worry about it.

- No. Oh, you mean tack it to the underlying tissue? No.

- We'll just going to go here.

- Yeah.

- and it' s the best way to go.

- Let's see how this goes.

- Like this.

- You're a chicken surgeon, Mcclenahan.

- I am now! - Look at that

- I'll refer all my chicken surgeries to you. - Yup.

- Oh, Dr. Mcclenahan's here. He can do it.

- He does chicken surgery.

- He does now.

- Did Dr. Pitts put him on some antibiotics?

- We haven't asked.

- I have to call him about it.

- Okay.

- Because I'm not sure if they eat her eggs.

- I like your technique there, though.

- I'll try this and see what happens, right?

- Yeah.

- Look at that. It matches now.

- Are we done?

- Or do I need one more?

- Yeah.

- Yup, what?

- To my question am I done or do I need one more?

- I thought so, because of here.

- Alright, I'll put one in there.

- Then we'll be done.

- One more.

- Oh, that helps a lot actually. - Isn't it amazing?

- I'm cool with this.

- Oh, there goes the mouth.

- There's the eyes.

- Alright, chicken.

- We'll have the doctor clean you up. Hi.

- Just make sure the other side looks okay.

- Yup.

- You okay with all that? - I'm good with that.

- Hi! Look at you!

- She's like, "What the fuhh."

- Yea!

- Dr. Mike

- Chicken surgeon!

- Oh, dear god.

- This chicken came in

- because it got attacked over night by something.

- And it's whole neck

- was torn up.

- But I fixed it.

- Chicken lives!

- Moana?

- Moana, anyone?

- Am I a certifiable chicken surgeon now?

- Eh, we'll see how it survives.

- If it lives?

- If not.

- If it lives to tell the tale, maybe.

- We'll see.

- Surgery went good, though.

- It's the next day.

- Chicken is alive.

- So we're going to check it out.

- It looks pretty good.

- Looks really good.

- Yea, we did it.

- Were you afraid to do it?

- No.

- You know why?

- I'm no chicken!

- Oh good god!

- No!

Woman Whose Angry Ex Dumps Her Dog 1000 Miles Away Gets A Stunning Call From A Stranger - Duration: 5:59.

whether it's with a late-night emergency trip to the veterinarian or springing

for premium wet food a lot of pet owners would do just about anything for their

animals but when I akia Mosley's ex-boyfriend abandoned her pitbull mix

Simba over 1,000 miles away her hands were tied with a full-time job in kids

to take care of she didn't have the time or resources to make the four-day road

trip necessary to retrieve her beloved pooch luckily someone far far away

understood just how much I Kias dog meant to her and decided to do something

incredible to help out in Wichita Kansas IKEA Mosely lived with her kids and an

eight-year-old a pitbull mix named Simba she had a boyfriend too and when he took

a trip to Maryland he asked if I Kia's dog couldn't company him on the long

lonely drive art but love is a fickle thing or so they say as the relationship

took a nosedive from stable to tumultuous IKEA and her boyfriend broke

up making an lardy emotional moment worse her ex-boyfriend was in the middle

of his road trip when the split happened the spurned lover abandoned Simba 1,000

miles out from Wichita IKEA called her ex to try to locate her dog again and

again the man ignored her calls months passed and it seemed IKEA would never

find her poor couch again meanwhile in Ridgely Maryland someone spotted Simba

wandering the streets he was alone and he seemed lost the

person alerted Animal Control in an agent named Caitlyn Ngoc singer scooped

him up and took him to a nearby Humane Society finally there was some good new

in this whole mess thanks to some smart planning IKEA had microchipped her pooch

years before so the Humane Society had all the information needed to contact

her but there was still one major problem Simba was still 1,000 miles away

it might have seemed like an easy trip for a dog lover but with a full-time job

and a couple of kids to care for Simba might as well have been on another

planet ultimately IKEA didn't have the time or resources to reach her beloved

dog still the folks of the Caroline County

Humane Society weren't about to twiddle their thumbs first they contacted

airlines that might gives him but a ride but none would do so then they called

the Humane Society in Wichita they too had no answers all proposed solutions

fell through and eventually the Humane Society was back to square one

meanwhile animal control officer Kaitlin nob singer the woman who had first

picked up Simba was keeping her boyfriend Zach Holt up to date on all

the ongoing drama as a dog lover and former Animal Control employee Zach was

particularly affected by Ikea and cymbals story in his eyes life without

his own dog and cat would have been unbearable so he could only imagine

Nikias plight as Zach told the local CBS affiliate wjz-tv referring to his own

dog I can't imagine my right-hand man being gone that long indeed the man

loved his pets and that sentiment got him thinking what could he do to help

his fellow pet owner Zach quickly hit his answer I'm a bartender he told

wjz-tv and Diane free on my week off where I can participate in such rescue

travel animals what exact charge for such a trip nothing zero dollars out of

an understanding of Ikea is love for her dog Zach simply said he would make the

four-day 1,300 mile drive for free nonetheless the Humane Society made a

contribution Zach is doing this strictly as a volunteer asking for nothing

a Humane Society employee wrote however we are incredibly grateful and need to

try to raise money to cover his gas tolls in other expenses incurred after

all driving ain't free so on December 5th 2017

Zach loaded symbol into his car and the two were off for most of the trip zimba

simply slept maybe he's act an attempt the pups favorite songs on his road trip

playlist for a total of 20 hours Zach along with this dog he'd never met

before the trip cruised down the highway and rude to Wichita meanwhile back

Kansas IKEA anxiously awaited the return of her dog it was a wet night when Zach

finally pulled up outside I Kia's house the long-lost dog made happy beeline

across the yard toward his owner who dropped to her knees to greet him just

like that they were reunited in Zach well he and some amazing thoughts about

it all if people just try Zach explained to kW CH news that'll make a difference

I guess that's one of the messages just try all I had to do was sacrifice a

little bit of time to get him back here it's more than worth it

Zach continued it's very fulfilling still it took something extraordinary to

inspire someone to drive 1,300 miles and back for a complete stranger that is

something understanding the love for animals with Zach still on her front

lawn IKEA held back tears as she gave simple much-needed affection I'm very

very thankful she told kW CH news I'm like speechless cause I really can't

believe he drove all the way here if you think about your own pets and how much

you love them you wouldn't second guess why Zach did what he did it's easy to

see why he felt compelled to reunite a family with their dog and thank goodness

that he did for some people it might be tough to drive even 15 minutes to return

his stranger's dog let alone 20 hours over several days no doubt Zach's

efforts were an incredibly generous feat I hope you liked this video then please
