So there was this one time where

that moment my two babies met finally also the reason why I said I cry a lot

is because I cry when I watch Act II of musicals Steven universe and or Japanese

and or foreign song that has beautiful and/or bittersweet lyrics and or melody

in them and when I listen to a song and then suddenly imagine my animatic

playing in my head that's beautiful by the way that's what happened with if I

could tell her I was mopping the floor like I do every night and then while

listening to the song I imagined the frames and it would make me cry and I

did also I cry when I get mad like when I feel like I'm super angry I don't want

to express it because it'll only be bad for me and everyone

around me so if I cry in public it either means two things one I'm super

What happens in the Arctic doesn't really matter, right? - Duration: 7:23.

- What happens in the Arctic stays in the Arctic.

We don't really need glaciers and sea ice, right?

The Arctic has warmed about twice as fast

as the rest of the world.

In some places, winter temperatures

are as much as seven degrees Fahrenheit

or almost four degrees Celsius warmer

than they were just 50 years ago.

The top of the world is the canary in the climate coal mine.

It's warning us what's gonna happen to us

if we don't change our ways.

Aside from its value as an early warning system, though,

does what happens in the Arctic really matter?

Yes, it does.

There are plenty of reasons,

but let's start with this one.

Some four million people call the Arctic home.

10% of that population are indigenous people

whose cultural heritage depends on their environment,

from the Sami people in Finland

to the Chukchi in Russia

to the Inuit in Alaska.

And both the Arctic and Antarctica

are home to so many unique ecosystems and species.

Not just the polar bears and the penguins,

but the southern elephant seals,

walruses, and the Antarctic skua

that don't and can't exist anywhere else on the planet.

Preserving their home should be reason enough to care.

As Josef Motzfeldt, an Inuit

and former minister of foreign affairs for Greenland said,

we are actually people living in the Arctic.

And we have to deal with the consequences

of the effects on the Arctic environment

caused by the climate changes.

It's not just a holiday trip for us.

We are living in the Arctic our whole life.

In our Inuit language,

we have the same word for weather climate

and the human mind.

It says, sila.

So if you're not taking care of the climate,

it might mean that you are out of your mind.

I wish everyone would listen to Josef.

But, if you're still not convinced,

here are three more reasons

why what happens at the ends of the earth

matter so much to us,

whoever we are and wherever we live on this planet.

Reason number two is sea level rise.

The poles are home to the world's largest ice sheets,

Greenland and Antarctica.

They're over a mile thick in some places.

That is a lot of water.

And today, they're melting.

The Greenland ice sheet covers an area

equivalent to Texas, New Mexico,

Arizona, and California all put together.

According to NASA's Grace satellite,

it's shedding nearly 300 gigatons of meltwater

into the ocean every year at an increasing rate.

Antarctica is shrinking by about 125 gigatons per year.

That's about 70% faster than just a decade ago.

In June 2017,

a more than 2000-square mile iceberg

the size of Delaware capped off the Larsen Sea Ice Shelf.

This iceberg was already floating,

so it didn't contribute to sea level rise,

but scientists worry that the land ice

that it was holding back could now be stabilized

and break off itself.

How does this affect us?

Because of where the water goes: into the ocean.

About half of the sea level rise we've witnessed

over the past century was due to thermal expansion.

Warmer water takes up more space,

and the ocean's temperature has been rising,

just like air temperature.

But half of the rise has been due to melting ice,

and that is why sea level rise is accelerating.

Future sea level rise will depend mostly

on how fast these massive ice sheets melt.

So yes, what happens at the poles matters a lot.

Here's reason number three.

What happens in the Arctic

affects our weather patterns, too.

It's pretty complicated, though,

so we have to back up a step to understand why.

One of the main reasons the Arctic is warming faster

than the rest of the globe

is because it's covered in shiny, white sea ice

that reflects much of the sun's heat back out to space.

But as the Arctic warms,

that sea ice is melting,

leaving dark, open water in its place.

This dark water absorbs more of the sun's heat,

making the Arctic warm even faster.

So, how does this connect to our weather systems?

Through the jet stream,

a narrow band of strong winds

high up in the atmosphere

that often pushes our weather systems along.

The jet stream is powered by the temperature difference

between the Arctic

and the mid-latitudes where most of us live.

But the more the Arctic warms,

the smaller the temperature difference

between the Arctic

and the mid-latitudes.

And we scientists suspect

that this may be making the jet stream

slow down and meander,

rather than speeding around the planet as it usually does.

Why does this matter?

Because a slower jet stream

makes weather systems in the US

and northern Europe less predictable.

In recent years, we've seen weather patterns

camp out over us for weeks

instead of passing by in a matter of days.

With a wavier jet stream,

there's also concern that the polar vortexes

could be pushed further south in the winter,

bringing occasional extreme conditions

to the mid-latitudes, even while our winters

are still getting warmer on average.

Crazy, right?

And finally, reason four,

which may be the biggest reason why the Arctic matters.

It's estimated that the permafrost

or permanently frozen ground of the Arctic tundra

holds enormous amounts of trapped carbon and methane

from decayed organic material,

the equivalent of about 1,000 years' worth

of greenhouse gas emissions at today's levels.

There's even more trapped in the continental shelves

under the Arctic Ocean.

Though despite what you may have heard,

there is no solid evidence to date

that the methane leaking from those hydrates,

as they're called in the ocean,

is increasing as a result of a warming ocean, yet.

As the permafrost on land thaws, though,

large burps of methane has been cited

bubbling out of bogs and lakes in Siberia

and northern Canada.

If the warming continues,

as much as 10% of that trapped methane

could be released by the end of the century.

This is what's called a positive feedback,

or more accurately, a vicious cycle,

as it would effectively double the consequences

of human emissions over the same time period.

So, yes, the Arctic and Antarctica do matter, a lot.

Why?

Because they're the wild cards in the climate deck.

As the world warms, how will the giant ice sheets respond,

and how much of the massive amounts of carbon and methane

trapped in the Arctic will leak out into the atmosphere?

The answers to these questions

are what keep us scientists up at night.

The History of Pressed Pennies - Duration: 4:43.

Pressed pennies.

Elongated pennies.

Smush pennies.

They've picked up many different names over the years.

Whatever you call them, these little trinkets can be found at tourist destinations all around

the world, and they're especially prevalent in Walt Disney World.

But where did they come from?

Why did we just start flattening pennies?

As it turns out, the history of elongated pennies is actually a bit muddied.

There's a generally accepted place and time in which they were considered to come about,

yet there are also accounts of similarly flattened coins existing for decades before.

However since there are no records of those accounts, we'll go with what we can trace back.

In 1893 everyone was celebrating the Chicago's World's Fair.

It was also known at the time as the World's Columbian Exposition, in honor of the 400th

anniversary of Christopher Columbus landing in America.

They were a year off but I imagine they didn't want to wait another 400 years.

Fun fact, but one of the construction workers who helped build the complex used at the

World's Fair that year was a failed orange grower from Florida named Elias Disney.

Over the next ten years he and his wife Flora would have five kids, including

Walt Disney and Roy Disney.

The World's Fair then, as it was every time, was a year long event in which companies and

countries from around the world came together to proudly show off their latest innovations

and highlight the best of their culture.

It's where the world was introduced to the first Ferris Wheel, and where entire new audiences

were exposed to a new genre of music called ragtime.

If this all sounds similar in theme to Epcot, that's no accident.

The Epcot theme park was designed to conceptually be a persistent world's fair.

As the story goes, one of the technologies on display at the fair was a press machine.

Now presses weren't exactly brand new at the time, but the use of this one caught people's

attention.

A jeweler had modified the machine to include an engraving on the press, and in order to

show off the immense strength of the machine he would use it to do something that no person

could do on their own, like flatten a coin.

For the cost of around 5 to 10 cents, along with the coin to be flattened with thousands

of pounds of pressure, guests were able to not only see the machine at work, but at the

end of the display they'd have the flattened coin as a memento.

The engraving was simple and just said "Columbian Exposition 1893".

As for the coins, the press was adjustable, so the elongating wasn't limited to just

pennies at that point.

The whole attraction ended up being very popular both for the novelty of seeing it at work,

and for the fairly cheap souvenir guests received as a result.

The pressed coin idea would find itself popping up at fairs and exhibitions all around the

world for the next 72 years.

This was known by collectors as the "oldies" period.

In 1965 the second period began, which was known as the "Modern Elongated" period.

At this point private individuals began to design and create their own pressing machines,

which allowed the memento to expand beyond major events.

However even at that point the process required an attendant to operate the machine.

Six years later in 1971 the first coin-operated penny press machine was

invented, and it would be their growth in popularity in the 1980s when the third and

current era of elongated coins, the "Contemporary Elongated" would begin.

That's where Disney would come in.

The first every pressed penny machine that was introduced to Disneyland was introduced

in June of 1987, a little over 30 years ago.

The design was simply Mickey Mouse's face in front of a starburst, and so it was referred

to as the "Mickey Sunburst" and "Mickey Starburst" coin.

The machines didn't make their way over to Walt Disney World until 1994 but when they

did they began to grow in popularity and new machines were placed all around the parks.

Today there are over 750 pressed coin designs available on Walt Disney World property, and

far more than that available at vacation and recreation destinations all around the world.

There are websites dedicated to tracking as many of them as possible and collectors who

make a mission out of getting as many as possible.

These little flat pennies have withstood the test of time, and over 100 years later

they're as popular as ever.

[Speaking to herself] "Why, hello there Catherine! Long time no see!...I've been great, thanks. Working on that book still. Congratulations on graduating!"

Yes! I sound pretty cool. Let's do it! Let's go right over to Catherine like a big girl and do that thing

Wait, other people are now talking to Catherine. I guess, she's kinda busy. Not going in there now!

Oh well, I need to pee anyway.

She starts maneuvering her way around the club looking for Jenna so she can ask her where the restroom is, but she is nowhere to be found

To avoid standing in the middle of the room alone, Sophie casually stops next to

a group of people and finds interest in what they're saying

A couple people bump into her and she tries to smoothly walk out of the way, but realizes the bumping continues

She turns around and sees a grinning face inches from hers. He's trying to dance behind her

His moves are awful and he wasn't even smooth!

[Sophie] "Please, no! Ew, no dancing!"

She smiles back apologetically and quickly walks away pushing through the people

Restroom. Now. More than ever!

Sophie looks around looking for the restroom. "Found it!"

She quickly walks in and locks the door. And finally, takes a breath.

Ah! This is exhausting!

Conveniently there is no one else around, so she takes her time and checks the messages on her phone

Somehow she ends up in a loop of funny cat videos

After 15 minutes of cat videos, she decides it's time to find Jenna. And success!

She sees her at the bar talking to Catherine

[Sophie] "Hey, Jenna. It's getting pretty late, so I think I'm going to head home now."

[Jenna] "What? We just got here. It has literally been 30 minutes."

[Sophie] "Yea...you know...I have that thing early in the morning..."

Happy 2018.

Things start off on a fabulous note as we enter the new year.

Without looking at the cards that have been drawn for this week's reading, the sense

that I get is that things will be better, brighter and more grounded as the days and

weeks of 2018 unfold.

This doesn't mean that 2018 will be all rainbows and unicorns, but I hope that the

ongoing, chronic and repetitious challenges we experienced in 2017 will be a thing of

the past.

So how does this week stack up?

Our self-confidence is taking front and center position this week.

We have spent the last number of weeks and month evaluating who we are and our place

in the world.

We have identified what works for us and what doesn't feel right or in our best interest.

This deep inner cleansing and reorganization of our priorities have culminated in an unquestionable

sense of purpose.

I guess we are not afraid of what others may say or think any longer and have resigned

ourselves to going forward with the plan.

It's interesting because even though we may be stepping into uncharted waters, there

is an undeniable feeling of being grounded.

There is a firm conviction to move forward in the decisions we made as 2017 concluded.

We have come to recognize that "this" is the only path we can follow and aren't

concerned with failure anymore.

Said in another way, we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, where just

a few short weeks ago there was none.

One message that is coming through loud and clear is that this is not the time to sit

around on the sidelines.

Hoping and praying will not bring in the blessings that this time holds.

For some, fighting our inner demons may be required as well as taking a deep breath as

you step into the unknown.

The impression that I get is that there will be rewards for those that do and a continuation

of the worry, stress, and anguish for those that don't.

We are in a powerful cycle this week.

All of our inner parts, the many aspects of our personality are in direct communication

with each other.

We are one with ourselves.

We can flow with the universe and get to that perfect place effortlessly.

This is when magic occurs!

This makes it an incredibly important time to listen to yourself.

You can do this by paying attention to your thoughts and feelings.

They are what will indicate your course ahead and will help you to navigate the waters.

Go with what feels right within the depths of your soul and take action if action is

being called for.

This time is not for the faint of heart, so be brave and boldly go….

Abedin actually forwarded sensitive State Department emails.

Some of which included passwords to government systems via her personal Yahoo email account

right before every single Yahoo account was hacked and sold on the Dark Web.

Abedin regularly forwarded work emails to her personal accounts.

The three email accounts Abedin used were abedinh@state.gov, huma@clintonemail.com,

and humamabedin@yahoo.com.

Anyone who has worked for any kind of corporation should know very well this isn't a great

idea, although it makes you wonder why she wanted a copy of some emails in her own accounts.

Maybe life insurance?

If you can recall, this is the same hack where the United States government later had to

charge a Russian intelligence agent named, Igor Sushchin, with hacking 500 million Yahoo

email accounts.

The initial hack happened in 2014 and allowed his associates to access accounts well into

2015 and 2016 by using forged cookies.

Sushchin also worked for the Russian investment bank Renaissance Capital, which interestingly

enough paid the former President and rapist Bill Clinton half a million dollars to give

a June 2010 speech in Moscow.

Trump is actually considering pardoning the sailor, Kristian Saucier, who was jailed for

taking pictures of classified sections of a nuclear submarine.

Trump was asked a week after taking office in 2017 whether or not he would consider pardoning

Saucier, who admitted snapping photos of the USS Alexandria so he could show his children

someday where he had served his country.

'I'm actually looking at it right now,' Trump told Fox News at the time.

'I think it's very unfair in light of what's happened with other people.'

The photos showed the nuclear reactor compartment, the auxiliary steam propulsion panel and the

maneuvering compartment, prosecutors said.

Saucier denied sharing his pictures with anyone who was unauthorized to see them, and his

lawyers raised the case of Hillary Clinton's classified email scandal as a more damning

parallel.

The Democratic then-presidential candidate had been 'engaging in acts similar to Mr.

Saucier' with information of much higher classification, they said, claiming it would

be 'unjust and unfair for Mr. Saucier to receive any sentence other than probation

for a crime those more powerful than him will likely avoid.'

This January, a law went into effect that makes all of California a sanctuary state.

The move is a pathetic attempt to undermine President Donald Trump's plans to protect

America, and it puts California's citizens at risk.

However, ICE Director Thomas Homan had some strong words for the super-liberal state,

and he didn't hold anything back.Sanctuary policy prevents local law enforcement from

cooperating with federal agents.

Specifically, it prevents them from holding onto criminals who are illegal aliens.

Police are forced to let them go before ICE or other federal officers can apprehend them.

It is a shocking violation of federal law.

More than that, it jeopardizes the safety of every law-abiding citizen.

Liberal bastions throughout the United States have some form of sanctuary policy.

Democrats love them because it protects illegal aliens.

They are under the delusion that if they pander to illegals, they'll vote for them.

I'll let that sink in.

Yes, Democrats are that stupid and desperate.

These policies protect criminals.

They put the interests of murderers, drug dealers, and rapists above citizens.

Liberals don't seem to mind.

Acting ICE Director Homan spoke about California's new sanctuary status.

He very plainly said it's not going to stop the federal government.

California "better hold on tight."

Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan said California "better

hold on tight" after its liberal Democratic governor allowed a sanctuary state law to

take effect this week…

"I think it's terrible," Homan said, adding that Brown's action put politics

in front of public safety…

He said that rank-and-file police officers are opposed to the new measure and that Brown's

administration didn't consult them before approving the law.

"If [Brown] thinks he is protecting the community, he's doing quite the opposite,"

Homan said.

"[Brown] is knowingly putting law enforcement at risk."

"There's no sanctuary from law enforcement," he said.

"California better hold on tight – they're about to see a lot more deportation officers.

If politicians don't protect their communities then ICE will."

Because of California's new sanctuary law, more ICE officers will be in the state.

Sanctuary laws only work if federal agents can't get to the arrested criminals in time.

ICE can conveniently circumvent the policy by having plenty of agents on the ground in

CA.This might seem like a petty response by Homan, but he, in fact, has no choice.

Because of this terrible new law, California will become a magnet for criminal aliens,

more so than ever before.

Drug cartels, human traffickers, and other criminals will prioritize entering the U.S.

through California simply because they know they are safer there.

Doesn't that make you want to move to California right now?

No one in their right mind would say yes to that.

ICE Director Thomas Homan has to send more agents to California because of the increase

in danger.

Legions of criminal aliens will flood the state because of Jerry Brown's terrible

new law.

Homan said illegal alien smuggling organizations will use the California law as a "selling

point" and that Brown "bit off a lot more than he can chew."

Homan said that Brown and other sanctuary-jurisdiction leaders may have violated 8 U.S. Code § 1324

– relating to "harboring certain aliens."

He said he hopes the Justice Department will look into whether officials can be criminally

charged under the statute.

They actually had the audacity to release a tv commercial which portrays America as

a racist society in order to sell more products.

The ad which is titled "The Talk," shows scenes of black mothers throughout history

as they warn their children about the dangers of being black in America.

And to add insult to injury it states that the system is stacked against them and why

they should fear the police.

How are colored people doing in Africa and the Middle East these days?

This ad is a kind of continuation of the company's decade-old "My Black is Beautiful" campaign.

The commercial begins with a young black girl from what appears to be the mid-1940's as

she is holding a white doll telling her mother that a woman at the store told her she was

pretty for a black girl.

The mother Responds "That is not a compliment, You are beautiful, period.

OK?"

The next scene goes on to show a young black boy running away from a group of white boys,

which transitions into a mother explaining to her son why there is nothing he can do

to stop whites from calling him the "N" word.

And lastly, there is one last mother explaining to her son "There are some people who think

you don't deserve the same privileges just because of what you look like," another

mother tells her son.

"It's not fair.

It's not."

And the final one is another mother asking her daughter if she has her driver's license

with her alluding to the idea that she might be killed by a police officer just for driving

a car.

Black-on-Black Crime: Blame It On The System And Ignore The Evidence

Supporters of criminal justice and sentencing reform tell us that prisons are overloaded

with minority inmates, proving that the criminal justice system is racist.

President Obama talks about it repeatedly, as do the sponsors of legislation pending

in Congress which would retroactively reduce mandatory minimum sentences for drug traffickers

and other violent felons.

Because minorities – blacks and Hispanics – make up a disproportionate part of the

prison population, their reasoning goes, it must be the police, prosecutors, judges, and

juries whose innate racism prohibits minorities from fair treatment, resulting in their incarceration.

Liberal politicians, pandering to minority voters, echo these sentiments, as do the mainstream

media in story after story about the awful racist criminal justice system.

Black Lives Matter, based on the lie that the police are a bunch of bigots who shoot

black men indiscriminately, has earned an honored spot among leftist politicians – including

Obama and both contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination.

To skew their reasoning even further, the same crowd claims that even though crime rates

have dropped precipitously over the past twenty years, the fact that more people are in prison

has little to do with the decline, but further demonstrates nothing more than the racism

inherent in the system.

Facts – surprise! – don't matter, and are simply ignored by those whose ideology

they don't support.

In his book The Rise and Fall of Violent Crime in America, Barry Latzer, emeritus professor

of criminal justice at the eminent John Jay College at the City University of New York,

concludes that high black incarceration rates "are best explained not by race bias, but

by exceptionally high African American crime commission rates and the imposition of prison

sentences for conduct previously punished by jail or probation."

The book is meticulously researched and accessibly written by an author with the highest credentials

and credibility, and is one of a few, if not the only book to synthesize questions of criminology

with social history.

You would think that such a study would be warmly welcomed, written about and reviewed

widely.

But you would be wrong.

Professor Latzer's book has all but been ignored.

I spoke with Professor Latzer at length last week, who told me that many people simply

do not want to deal with black crime – such answers as there are simply defy the liberal

worldview, and critics find it easier to blame the problem on racism and bigotry on the part

of criminal justice officials than on the perpetrators.

Trying to ignore the problem is not a new phenomenon.

In his book, concerning the growth of violent crime in the 1960s, Latzer writes:

[S]ome elites – public figures, experts and academics, even the news media –were

reluctant to discuss the racial dimension of the crime problem.

To acknowledge the high rate of black crime, they thought, would give aid and comfort to

bigotry… some of the analysts were scared of being branded racists…

Whatever the explanation, the result was the same – a denial of reality.

Latzer's book should put an end to this denial of reality.

It discusses all aspects of the tremendous increase in crime rates in the 1960s through

the 1990s and the subsequent decline in those rates, and documents, with a thorough review

of academic and government studies, FBI statistics, and much else, including the question of black-on-black

crime and its consequences.

Refusal to come to grips with the racial aspects of crime, and instead to accuse the criminal

justice system of being racist is to sentence a great many black victims to the consequences

of violence.

Although African Americans have an inordinately high crime rate as compared to other ethnic

groups, they are much more likely to be victims than criminals.

Most African Americans do not commit serious crimes; study after study has shown that in

all demographic groups, a relatively small percentage – usually lower than 10 percent

– commit over 80 percent of all crime.

And that relatively small group of offenders often commits hundreds of crimes, many of

which go unsolved.

Latzer points out that 3.3 out of 100,000 white males were murder victims in 2010, but

among black males the rate was ten times as high (although that murder rate is nearly

50 percent lower than it was in the 1950s and 60s).

The murder rate started to decline in the early 1990s and reached an all-time low by

2013, largely because of stricter and longer sentences, particularly for multiple offenders,

an end of the crack cocaine epidemic, and better policing practices, such as New York's

broken windows and stop-and-frisk campaigns.

In the last two years, however, the crime rate has started to increase, particularly

for murder.

In the 56 largest American cities, the murder rate was up 17 percent from 2014 through 2015,

and up another nine percent so far in 2016.

In the ten largest U.S. cities, all with large black populations, it was up 33 percent in

2015 and is up 60 percent so far in 2016.

The increase is certainly at least partially a result of the so-called "Ferguson Effect"

or a reluctance of police officers to put themselves in jeopardy for making arrests

as a result of the Michael Brown incident in Ferguson, Missouri last year.

But the Obama White House is still in denial.

In response to a recent news conference where FBI Director James Comey commented on the

increase, attributing it to the "Ferguson Effect," White House press spokesman Josh

Earnest accused Comey of being" irresponsible and counterproductive," saying he was "drawing

conclusions based on anecdotal evidence."

Much of the increase in the murder rate, Latzer told me, is attributable to black gang members

killing each other.

Although the high crime rates in the 80s and 90s were driven by the crack cocaine epidemic,

Latzer says that the high rate of heroin addiction is not nearly as violent and probably causes

relatively few murders, although it is responsible for plenty of other crimes.

As for the solution, Latzer believes there is no silver bullet, and whatever the solution

may be is a very long term proposition.

In the meantime, he believes the only remedy is to lock up the perpetrators for as long

as we can.

Any downside to the prisoners' freedoms will be far offset by the benefits to the

potential victims.

This is one of the most racist and anti-black commercials I have ever seen.

AND THE ALCOHOL AWAY FROM ME. IT WAS POWERFUL.

HOW ABOUT YOUR DRUG AND ALCOHOL PROBLEM?

MONICA: WELL, WHEN HE WENT THROUGH THIS PERIOD

I SUPPORTED HIM AND I DIDN'T THINK THAT I HAD A PROBLEM

WITH ALCOHOL OR DRUGS, BECAUSE WHEN YOU

WENT INTO THE REHAB IT GOT RID OF EVERYTHING,

AND SUPPORTED HIM WITH THE AA PROGRAM.

I NEVER LOCKED INTO IT LIKE HE DID AS FAR AS,

LIKE, GOING TO THE MEETINGS EVERY DAY,

SOMETIMES TWICE A DAY, BUT WE - OUR FRIENDS CHANGED

SO WE HAD TO LET GO OF THE PAST PRETTY MUCH.

IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT BECAUSE PEOPLE KEPT

CALLING AND ASKING FOR DRUGS AND THERE WAS

NONE TO BE FOUND AND WE DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE TO

EXPLAIN A LOT OF THINGS TO THEM.

BUT I KNEW THAT IT WAS THE RIGHT THING.

I MEAN, WE FELT LIKE...

MONICA: YEAH, LATER ON. YEAH, MUCH LATER.

WE HAD REALLY NOT NECESSARILY

SOOTHSAYERS IN THEM, AND THE HOTEL WAS RIGHT IN THE

CENTER OF IT NEAR, LIKE, NEXT TO A LAKE.

SO I WAS IN THE ROOM SITTING THERE.

THE SUN IS POURING IN AND I STARTED TO HEAR

THIS MUSIC DOWNSTAIRS.

THERE WAS A GROUP OF PEOPLE,

A LITTLE CHURCH OR CHAPEL, WHATEVER,

NEARBY, AND THIS GROUP OF PEOPLE WAS BY THE LAKE

IT WAS SO POWERFUL. I HAD NEVER HEARD

WHAT DID YOU THINK?

STEVE: WELL, I WAS PRESIDENT OF THE

SYNAGOGUE AT THE TIME AND I SAID, YOU KNOW,

OF COURSE WE WERE GETTING DIVORCED,

SO I ALMOST DIDN'T CARE IN A WAY,

BUT I DID BECAUSE OF OUR SITUATION,

AND I SAID, "LISTEN, I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY,

JUST DON'T TELL THEM YOUR LAST NAME BECAUSE

I DON'T WANT IT TO GET BACK TO THE SYNAGOGUE

THAT MY WIFE IS GOING TO A CHURCH."

SID: WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?

YOU'RE DIVORCING THIS WOMAN!

STEVE: WELL, SOMETHING IN ME SAID TO TELL HER THAT,

YOU KNOW? AND SO, I DID.

BUT EVERY SUNDAY MORNING SHE'D GET UP AND SHE WOULD

GET DRESSED IN THIS WHITE DRESS, OR, YOU KNOW,

WITH A BIBLE UNDER HER ARM AND SCOOT OFF

TO THIS CHURCH AND I'M - FINALLY ONE DAY I SAID,

"YOU KNOW, I'D BETTER GO WITH YOU, BECAUSE

I JUST WANT TO SEE - I DON'T WANT TO SEE ANYTHING

STRANGE HAPPEN TO YOU." I MEAN,

WE STILL HAVE OUR CHILDREN AND ALL THAT,

AND SO I WENT AND I WALKED IN THERE

AND IT WAS SO FOREIGN TO ME. I'M TELLING YOU,

IT WAS SO FOREIGN TO ME - THIS CHURCH, THIS SERVICE,

THE TALKING ABOUT JESUS, THE PREACHING;

IT WAS ALL FOREIGN TO ME. I REMEMBER

THEY ASKED FOR PEOPLE TO COME UP FOR PRAYER.

MONICA SAYS, "WELL, GO UP THERE,"

AND I WENT UP THERE BUT NOTHING REALLY HAPPENED.

SID: BUT THEN YOU GOT A PHONE CALL FROM A FRIEND.

YOU'RE TALKING TO THIS PERSON AND HE TELLS YOU

ABOUT A RABBI, BARRY FEINMAN.

TELL ME ABOUT HIM. STEVE: RIGHT.

I WAS SITTING IN MY OFFICE ONE DAY AND THIS GUY

WHO WE DO BUSINESS WITH, A JEWISH FELLOW WHO,

HE AND HIS WIFE HAD BEEN WITNESSING TO MONICA AND I

FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS ABOUT YESHUA,

THE JEWISH MESSIAH. HE CALLED AND ASKED FOR

MY BROTHER ABOUT SOME BUSINESS THING AND I SAID,

"I'LL TAKE THAT CALL." AND I SAID,

"SAM, I'VE GOT A PROBLEM. I'M PRESIDENT

OF THE SYNAGOGUE, AS YOU KNOW.

MONICA, MY WIFE, HAS BEEN GOING,

RUNNING AROUND TO CHURCHES ON SUNDAY MORNINGS.

WHAT DO I DO, SAM?" HE SAID, "WAIT, HOLD ON.

I'M GOING TO HAVE THIS MESSIANIC RABBI -

THIS RABBI CALL YOU FROM ALBANY." SO THAT NIGHT,

OR THE NEXT NIGHT, I GET A CALL AT HOME FROM A RABBI,

BARRY FEINMAN FROM ALBANY, AND I WASN'T THERE.

MONICA AND I HAPPENED TO BE OUT SOMEWHERE TOGETHER,

AND WHEN I GOT HOME I CALLED HIM BACK.

IT WAS 10 O'CLOCK AT NIGHT.

IT WAS A FRIDAY NIGHT, AND I CALLED HIM,

AND THE CONVERSATION WENT ON FOR TWO HOURS.

SID: TWO HOURS? STEVE: YES.

SID: HOLD THAT THOUGHT. HE DIDN'T KNOW IT,

A MESSIANIC JEWISH RABBI, A RABBI THAT BELIEVES

BUT, THEY'RE HEADED TOWARD DIVORCE AND HE'S

ON THE TELEPHONE AT 10 P.M. AT NIGHT WITH A

MESSIANIC JEWISH RABBI ASKING QUESTIONS,

AND AFTER TWO HOURS OF CONVERSATION WITH

RABBI BARRY FEINMAN, YOU DECIDED TO GO TO HIS

CONGREGATION; AND WHAT WAS IT LIKE?

STEVE: WELL, HE INVITED US TO THE ROSH HASHANAH

SERVICE, OF ALL SERVICES, WHICH WAS COMING UP

WITHIN A WEEK OR TWO, AND I SAID,

"WELL, WE'LL TRY TO COME", AND HE REALLY DIDN'T

THINK I WAS COMING BECAUSE HE SAID,

"WELL, PRESIDENT OF A SYNAGOGUE, HE'S JUST -

REALLY KIND OF HUMORING ME".

BUT, REALLY WHAT HAPPENED WAS,

SOMETHING WAS STIRRING INSIDE ME,

AND HE TOLD ME TO READ ISAIAH 53.

THAT NIGHT I READ ISAIAH 53 AND

THE WORDS WERE LEAPING UP OFF THE PAGE.

I SAID "THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT THIS".

SO IT REALLY STIRRED SOMETHING INSIDE ME,

BUT FOR A PRESIDENT OF A CONSERVATIVE SYNAGOGUE

NOT TO BE AT HIS SYNAGOGUE ON ROSH HASHANAH,

YOU KNOW, WAS - SID: THAT'S UNUSUAL.

STEVE: THAT'S VERY UNUSUAL,

BUT I TOLD THE RABBI AND THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

THAT WE WERE GOING TO ALBANY.

WE WERE INVITED TO BE WITH FRIENDS AND SO WE WENT,

AND WHEN I WALKED INTO THAT MESSIANIC SYNAGOGUE,

AND BELIEVE ME, SID, IT WAS LIKE A STOREFRONT.

THE CONSERVATIVE SYNAGOGUE WAS, LIKE, PALATIAL, SO I

WALKED IN AND I WAS LIKE, "HMM, WHAT IS THIS PLACE?"

BUT WHEN I STEPPED INSIDE THIS BUILDING

I JUST FELT I WAS HOME.

THE SERVICE STARTED, YOU KNOW...

SID: WHAT MADE YOU FEEL THAT YOU WERE HOME?

STEVEN: I DON'T KNOW.

IT WAS A FEELING INSIDE ME.

IT WAS JUST A FEELING. AND WE WENT INTO

THE SANCTUARY AND THE SERVICE STARTED IN ABOUT

10 OR 15 MINUTES, AND I JUST STARTED WEEPING.

I HADN'T CRIED IN YEARS!

TEARS WERE ROLLING DOWN MY CHEEK, AND EVENTUALLY,

AND I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER THE SERIES OF EVENTS,

BUT AT SOME POINT IN THE SERVICE THE RABBI ASKED

IF ANYBODY WOULD LIKE TO, YOU KNOW,

ACCEPT YESHUA, THE JEWISH MESSIAH,

INTO THEIR HEART. MY HAND WENT UP.

I MEAN, IT WAS JUST - IT WENT UP. IT SURPRISED ME.

SID: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR HAND WENT -

STEVE: I SAID "I'LL DO IT!"

THE NEXT DAY FOR THE SECOND DAY

OF ROSH HASHANAH. WE WALKED IN.

MONICA AND I, ON THE WAY HOME THAT NIGHT BEFORE

WE WERE SAYING, SHE SAID, "WE CAN'T GO BACK THERE!

HOW COULD WE GO BACK TO THAT SYNAGOGUE WHEN WE'VE

EXPERIENCED THIS INCREDIBLE FEELING OF GOD

IN THIS MESSIANIC SYNAGOGUE?" I SAID,

"WELL, WE HAVE TO GO BACK. I'M THE PRESIDENT."

SO WE WALKED IN THERE THAT DAY.

EVERYBODY KNEW WE WERE GOING TO BE DIVORCED.

I HADN'T BEEN TO SYNAGOGUE FOR THE PREVIOUS DAY,

WHICH WAS AN IMPORTANT DAY OF ROSH HASHANAH.

WE WALKED IN TOGETHER, SMILING,

AND EVERYBODY TURNED AROUND TO LOOK, YOU KNOW,

AND I CAN IMAGINE WHAT THEY WERE THINKING.

BUT WHEN WE SAT DOWN IN OUR SEATS QUIETLY,

I SAID TO MONICA,

"I FEEL THE PRESENCE OF GOD IN THIS PLACE."

SID: IN THE TRADITIONAL SYNAGOGUE.

STEVE: IN THE TRADITIONAL SYNAGOGUE,

AND I OPENED UP THE PRAYER BOOK AND I'M READING

THE PRAYERS AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I SEE IN HEBREW

THE NAME OF YESHUA.

SID: WHICH IS HEBREW FOR JESUS.

STEVE: WHICH IS HEBREW FOR "JESUS", OR "SALVATION".

AND I LOOK AND I SAID, "MONICA,

HE'S IN THIS PRAYER BOOK!

YESHUA'S IN THIS PRAYER BOOK!"

AND THEY HAD THE TORAH SERVICE.

THEY OPENED THE ARK, AND AS SOON AS THEY

OPENED THE ARK, SID, IT WAS AMAZING.

IT WAS LIKE A WAVE CAME FLYING OUT OF THAT THING

AND HIT ME, AND I JUST -

TEARS STARTED COMING TO MY EYES.

I JUST KNEW THAT GOD WAS THERE IN THAT PLACE

AND THAT HE WAS SHOWING ME

THAT HE COULD BE THERE IN THAT PLACE.

IT WAS JUST SO POWERFUL.

SID: WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR MARRIAGE?

I MEAN, YOU WERE HEADED TOWARD DIVORCE!

AND YOU MIGHT HAVE BEEN SMILING WALKING IN THERE,

YOU MIGHT HAVE FELT ALL THE PRESENCE OF GOD,

BUT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE TWO OF YOU?

STEVE: WELL, THE DAY BEFORE WHEN WE WENT OUT

TO LUNCH WITH THE RABBI AND HIS WIFE FROM

THE MESSIANIC SYNAGOGUE, THEY SAID,

"WELL, WHAT DO YOU THINK?" AND I SAID,

"WELL, YOU KNOW, IT'S WONDERFUL,

BUT WE'RE STILL BEING DIVORCED."

THE RABBI'S WIFE LOOKED AT US IN THE EYE AND SAID,

"GOD HATES DIVORCE. GOD HATES DIVORCE

AND YOUR MARRIAGE IS GOING TO BE HEALED.

YOU ARE NOT GETTING DIVORCED.

GOD'S GOT A PLAN FOR THE TWO OF YOU AND THAT'S IT."

AND, YOU KNOW, FROM THAT POINT ON,

GOD STARTED WORKING IN OUR LIVES AND EVENTUALLY

THE MARRIAGE - OF COURSE, WE'RE HERE!

FIVE YEARS LATER.

SID: YOU'RE HERE, BUT MONICA,

DO YOU LOVE THIS MAN THAT PUNCHED THROUGH THE WALL?

MONICA: YEAH, I LOVE HIM.

THEY ASKED ME TO - ACTUALLY, I TOLD THEM.

I ENDED UP TELLING THEM AND WE HAD A MEETING.

WE HAD VARIOUS MEETINGS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

AND I GAVE MY TESTIMONY TO THEM AND I TOLD THEM HOW

GOD HAS HEALED OUR MARRIAGE AND THE DRUG

ADDICTION - EVERYTHING. AND SO, THEY DECIDED TO

KEEP ME ON AT THE FIRST MEETING, BUT ALL THE MEN

WENT HOME TO THEIR WIVES AND ONE THING

LED TO ANOTHER AND THE RABBI CALLED ME

THE NEXT DAY AND SAID,

"WE CAN'T HAVE YOU AS PRESIDENT."

SID: SO ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS RENOUNCE YOUR BELIEF

IN JESUS AND YOU CAN BE PRESIDENT."

STEVE: RIGHT. SID: WHY DIDN'T YOU?

STEVE: THEY ASKED ME. THEY SAID...

SID: FOUR GENERATIONS OF JEWS IN THIS SYNAGOGUE!

HOW COULD YOU DO THAT, STEVE?

STEVE: I SAID, "LISTEN, I BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT

THIS IS THE RIGHT THING BELIEVING IN YESHUA,

THAT YESHUA IS THE JEWISH MESSIAH.

I CAN'T PUT THIS ON THE SHELF!

Dwight's windshield tours famous windshield tours today we're out at

trailmark this is a new video I've done one about a year ago but to all the new

builders are in here and a lot of new homes and we've were able to do some

videos of the new model homes so let's go take a look at it so again this is

trailmark here in st. Johns County and we're proud and pleased to be bringing

you guys great information all right so let's take a look around this is

approximately 1,300 acres of oak hammock beautiful beautiful community about

1,800 home sites when it's done so they got a long way to go a lot of great

builders you see a beautiful entrance look at this you don't see this kind of

entrance in st. Johns County this is all natural this was not planted by man this

is awesome so we're gonna come up here we're gonna see some really beautiful

homes and beautiful community so here we go this is awesomely crossover cuz I

went to I went in on the wrong side alright here we go

kayak launch Lakes hiking trails biking trails it's all here at trail mark okay

first place we're gonna come up with or come to excuse me it's gonna be the camp

house so stand by a moment all right we're coming up into the community nice

nice entrance one of the best entrances in st. Johns County for a community

that's for sure here at trail mark on the left up here we're gonna see the

Welcome Center slash camp house the camp house is a huge amenity center with

swimming pool fitness center everything look at this natural when I say

landscaping its landscaped with natural attributes all those trees and all this

is an awesome awesome place a golf cart path through that beautiful lake okay so

a lot of great builders go in here we'll go over those in just a minute like

David Weekley DR Horton Providence beautiful here's our Welcome Center

that's the camp house over here on the left if you click on my other video you

can see that I've got a complete video of the camp house here at trail mark

beautiful right look at this natural oak setting this is amazing

beautiful all right here we go we're gonna go see some of the homes and some

of the interior part of the community again that's gonna have a kayak launch

walking trails biking trails here a trail are amazing as we come around to

where the some of the homes being built this is a land in model this is the st.

John so used to be their model home it's for sale now they've built a new model

in here and these are all Landon homes okay

beautiful nice carriage style homes rear entry garages very nice now over here on

our left as we come around here trail mark again they have done their best

work here everything is natural everything is remained natural the water

features blend seamlessly into the environment this is awesome this is an

amazing amazing community okay as you can see plenty of home sites to produce

from still from all the builders okay so we're gonna go check out a few more the

where the builders have their models David Weekley and Providence as we come

up over the little bridge over the over the lake

going to be David Weekley and Providence homes in this area and home sites in

trail mark are gonna range up to 85 feet wide so there's gonna be some really

waterfront lots so lots and lots of and of lots to choose from here in st. in a

trail mark okay so now what we're gonna do is we're gonna go ahead and take you

around to the back area we're Mastercraft and dr Horton

rebuilding again all the builders in here are gonna this is gonna be a

spectacular community with a lot of variety okay this is a New Providence

home going up not sure what model it is but again lots

going on in here and plenty plenty of lots to choose from okay so I'll be

right back now we're heading back to our DR Horton is building in Mastercraft builders and

along the nice lake they have the golf cart path again all those all those

trees all those natural trees summer plants and of course landscaping but the

majority of what you're seeing is

natural this was here and will always be here so we're gonna take a ride on split

oak Road and in here we have this is a where deer horn the area where deer

Horton is building and this is their model home this is a Destin - okay

it's a Destin before Lance a 5 bedroom 4 bath home it's got a bonus room on top

that makes it that size okay again plenty of lots to choose from and this

is on this street they're fairly well built out but they're building in other

areas of course in the community so there's still plenty of the choose from

ok as you can see a lot of different styles a lot of different elevations

sizes so that's what's kind of cool about trail mark and all the builders is

that there's plenty to choose from whatever fits your taste your budget you

know your the floor plan that you may like that works for you so there is a

ton to choose from out here

we've worked with the majority of the builders out here we have worked with

and built homes with four clients and they are all just spectacular what they

do and green a lot of green space check out the green space here Wow look at

this over to our left is that enough is that not amazing clean that and that's a

nice Pete a nice leak right there you can sit and check it out and I'm sure

Trailmark and For Buyers Only Realty

there's tons of wildlife out here and this area has probably tons of wildlife

out here okay so let's go check out the mastercraft

before we go check out the mastercraft area let me just show you a couple homes

that are available by dr horton their inventory homes here in trail mark look

at that look at that tree and that's amazing look at these homes these are

all available for sale and when these are sold they'll be money more like

these Destin's talbert's corals three-car garages crazy cool crazy crazy

cool and like I said plenty of different sizes and shapes and anything to fit fit

also building back here so let's go take a look at what they've got going on here

harmony with nature this is gonna be very very nice

take a little ride around Mastercraft doesn't have a modeling here yet but

here mastercraft and land is gonna be building back here as well got some

folks that are checking out the area check out some home sites maybe look at

that beautiful home by mastercraft nice all backing up the green space these are

right there that's what trail marks all about it's about that kind of lifestyle

Celebrities Who Had Violent Public Meltdowns - Duration: 4:25.

From attacks on paparazzi to unfortunate pub brawls, we've seen our fair share of celebrity

freakouts over the years.

Here are some of the most memorable and infamous incidents ever to occur in public…incidents

that made headlines and, in some cases, landed a celeb in court.

Bjork

In 1996, Icelandic singer Björk pummeled a female reporter to the ground at a Bangkok

airport after she welcomed her and her 10-year-old son to the city with a camera and bright lights.

The singer reacted so violently to the journalist that she ultimately had to be pulled away

by security, though she still tried to strike out one more time.

Even though she ultimately apologized for the incident, Bjork attacked a second journalist

at the Auckland International Airport in 2008 after a he refused to acknowledge her request

for no photographs.

So, if you happen to see Bjork at an airport, resist the urge to grab your camera.

Shia LaBeouf

Troubled actor Shia LaBeouf has been in more violent public altercations than there have

been sequels in the seemingly unending Transformers franchise that made him famous.

In 2011, he was involved in not one, but two physical dust-ups in bars.

In 2014, he was at it again, this time caught on video head-butting a patron at a London

pub.

After yet another public drunkenness arrest for interrupting a Broadway performance of

Cabaret, LaBeouf appeared on Ellen and apologized for his drunken antics:

"I went through an existential crisis which turned into some kind of exploration, really."

But by 2017, he generated more violent headlines when he allegedly got rough with folks at

several anti-Trump protests, then had two back-to-back drunken tirades: flipping out

on a bartender at a Los Angeles bowling alley, and another in Savannah where he was caught

on tape making racially charged comments and threatening to kill the police officers who

arrested him.

It's a lot, and LaBeouf knows it.

Once again, he apologized for his behavior, this time on Twitter where he wrote that he

was "deeply ashamed" of his behavior and apologized to the police.

He also admitted that he was struggling with sobriety and "actively taking steps" to "secure"

it.

Russell Crowe

Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe was arrested in New York City in 2005 after throwing a

phone at a Mercer Hotel employee during a heated argument that left the employee with

injuries.

"His response was 'whatever,' and then he hung up on me.

So, I went downstairs and had a word with him."

Months after the alleged phone-throwing, Crowe pleaded guilty to third-degree assault charges

and was sentenced to a conditional charge that required him to avoid getting cuffed

again for a full year.

Kanye West

It would almost be easier to report on all of the times rapper Kanye West hasn't had

an outburst while in public, but for now, we'll focus on times when he actually put

his hands on people.

First, Yeezy went ballistic on a TMZ photographer in July 2013, after the overzealous pap failed

to heed his request to never talk to him or anyone he knows.

Just one week later, the "Famous" rapper geeked out at LAX again on another photographer for

breaking the same rule.

In both instances, West lunged at the paps and attempted to confiscate their cameras.

A little less than a year later, West was sentenced to two years' probation after pleading

no contest to a charge of misdemeanor battery.

He was also ordered to attend 24 anger management sessions, perform 250 hours of community service,

and pay restitution fees to the photographer he hit.

Sean Penn

Noted angry actor Sean Penn has also found himself at odds with the pesky paparazzi on

more than one occasion.

But in 2009, the Oscar-winner was videotaped in broad daylight kicking and attacking a

photographer outside his home in Brentwood, California, which led to assault and vandalism

charges.

The Mystic River star was able to plea down to just the vandalism charge for which he

was ultimately sentenced to three years probation and 36 hours of anger management.

But Penn must have snoozed through those anger management sessions because in November 2013

— just months after his probation ended — he was again caught on video, flipping

out on a guy who allegedly tried to take his photo at a hotel in San Francisco.

"I'll make you eat the phone.

Get out of here."

Katt Williams

Comedian Katt Williams has had so many meltdowns, he's almost become more well known for them

than he is for his stand-up comedy.

But there was one particularly disturbing example that came along in 2016 when he was

busted sucker-punching a seventh grader.

Williams was in Georgia "handing out cash," when for some reason he got surrounded by

children, one of whom he punched in the face.

The kid he hit was strong enough to fight back, though, and put Williams in a chokehold.

Even though the kid walked away with the win, it was still pretty disturbing to see how

far the funnyman had fallen.
