Greece and the TAP of discorde - La Grecia e Il tap della discordia - Duration: 4:45.

Greece and the TAP of discorde

Kavala, North-Eastern Greece

Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) construction site

My name is Themis Karmanidis

I'm the president of the Kavala Farmers' Association

and member of the local Commission for the variation of the route of the gas pipeline

We, as a Farmers' Association, but also as residents of this territory

are against the crossing of the TAP gas pipeline

because this will have consequences for the future generations

The company has tried to enter the fields without the consent of owners or tenants

We have put our bodies in front of the excavators and we have stopped them

We have recovered the land and planted trees

so that they understand that we can also behave how we please

This land belongs to two land owners

To one owner until the middle there, and to another from the middle to down there

Further down there are some archaeological sites that are part of Unesco

Shall we let the company destroy everything and then stop it afterwards?

Libra, locality of Kavala

When did you learnt that the gas pipeline will pass through here?

How did you learn it?

Nobody told me

I have seen some poles that then were taken away

and they told us that they were put because of TAP

Can you show us where they passed?

Have you pressed charges?

Yes I did I await the call of the solicitor

Thirteen days have passed and no answer yet

My case is not unique, there are two more people

Over there, where you see the tractor, it is my land and I'm cultivating it

Unfortunately TAP will go through that land too

Central Macedonia – Greece

My name is Michalis Davis

We are in the area where the TAP gas compression station will be built

We collected thousands of signatures

We organised a demonstration in Serres with more than 1500 people

People are informed on the issues

on the risks, in case of explosion

on acoustic and atmospheric pollution

on the probability of increase in cancer

already present in the area

We've been under pressure recently

we were denounced on local television

It is a subtle pressure

The State, the current government, put the police watching us, like now.

We can see them. See that is the car that is watching us, they are not here to greet us

to say "Hello we are watching you!"

And for what reason do they do it?

Are we residents a danger to anyone?

In Greece the TAP gas pipeine is a divisive issue between the government of Alexis Tsipras and the people of Eastern Macedonia and Trace

Territories located far away from the capital and already sacrificed to the passage of various pipelines from Russia

Territories that decided to say "No" to this new pipeline wanted by the European Union and by the Greek government

and that will be a definitive scar for the economy of these territories

IRISH CROCHET-Mother Bag-Tutorial 2 irregular grid - Duration: 1:00:43.

I welcome my channel'm Sara

this time, I am going to teach you to make the bag irregular network

see

each cell has a size and a direction

if a line horizontally or vertically is not possible to follow, because each cell has a size and a different direction

see

step by step to begin:

to support bag, instead of extruded polystyrene foam, like this one, which is hard

This is the extruded polystyrene board

extruded polystyrene plate was longer

here is used for construction, it is used as insulation of buildings and houses

I show the plate close

it is quite thick, has three centimeters,

It is very dense, when the pins are stuck on it, do not move

here sell grilled extruded polystyrene, in building materials stores

I guess in your countries also sold in the same places

It is not expensive, it is cheaper insulation, other insulators other colors that are denser (more isolated) and are more expensive

This is the cheapest, for the Irish crochet is perfect

you you cut the iron the size you need, then the fabric forráis

for example, you cut it here, with a utility knife, then forráis fabric, and you would have the support to the network

the first support I did so with extruded polystyrene

To make the bag stand, I'm going to do with very thick foam

why? because this support will go inside the bag

instead of supporting the bag on the stand and to drive the pins, I'll get the support inside the bag

why? because if not, I will not be able to give shape to the bag well and do it in one piece

with very thick foam, we cut the size of the bag and making a killing with fabric

I have already lined the foam backing with an old shirt

see

we put inside the bag support

see

We do irregular network and we stick pins on this support

see

so it is easier to irregular network

if I put it on the support of extruded polystyrene, would have left a mold seam unstitched, because the bag is too small for this support, I want to be in one piece

pins nailed well on this support and the mold fits perfectly

for the bag I used two types of red

I put two strands of each wire to the grounds or

This is light red, is colored Madeira Classic 30 1037

This is dark red, Madeira Classic 30 Color 1181

This is the flower of my Tutorial 5 Wedding Dress

It is exactly like the tutorial 5, only that I have made clear red

to access tutorial click here, if not in the video information I leave the link

This is my Tutorial 12 Wedding Dress

I did it in dark red

It is the same as that of Tutorials 12 but dark red

to access the link 12 Tutorial My Wedding Dress, click here, if not in the video information I leave the link

This is the Romanian lace Tutorial 7 My Wedding Dress

I did it in two colors; Romanian cord and outside of the motive or element, light red and the inside of the element in dark red

it does like the Tutorial 7 my wedding dress, only in two colors

to access the Tutorial 7 My Wedding Dress, click here, if not in the video information I leave the link

I made 2 roses, 8 leaves and 12 Romanian laces,

6 rightward and leftward 6 and the two equal sides are

because if you do the 12 in the same direction, when a Romanian bear cord around it will not be like the other

6 to the left and right 6

these are the pins that I will use to make the network

They are 26 mm long and 0,54mm thick

They are very small and very thin, so do not damage the fabric

see

the needle will be used to make the network, is number 16 or 0.5 mm from the Lady brand

I will not get the needle inside the pen, because it bothers me, I will use it as it comes

the thread that will be used to make the network is the Madeira Classic 30, color 1181, with one strand

see

and I have basting the reasons above the mold and placed upside down

instead of putting the leaves and on the other side, we have put the Romanian laces, to change the subject or item from one side to another bag

see

we will start making the knot, let the thread a little longer, then hide the thread between the elements

we made the knot

let's start where we want but it is an element or motive

when we are going to end the thread must try to end the thread on an item or reason to hide the thread after

start again for an item or reason to hide the excess thread and make it safer work

I'll start with this Romanian cord

we draw the knot needle

we put the needle into the cord Romanian, trying to get two threads, so it is safer

we get

the knot I will step to the other side

we throw well, to make it safe

see

with this

this thread is left over we will hide a wool needle flat head, so that it is safe to start

let's start making chains

I will make 3 chains and vareta

it is whet chains and braces, as we want to make the larger network, or smaller

I want to make a small network, then I do one, two, or three chains

we're going to turn around and we will change the direction

we'll put pins, to see what we are doing

already they are beginning to see

we put the needle in this

I will remove the pin

with pins grabbed cells do, to make it look like work is

see

me, me the chains are slightly larger than normal, because I'm doing it through the camera

make chains and tight varetas

as you go to be needed, you have to make a double crochet, crochet triple or quadruple vareta ... it depends on the cells to make them

on other occasions, instead of closing with a vareta, we closed with a sliding point

the effect of slipped point

if you want me to stay in this line item, we make a vareta, if we want to stay here, make a sliding point.

depends on the effect you want to achieve, we close with a crochet or a sliding point

now let's unite it with this one, I'll make a chain and a vareta

we have joined the Romanian lace

here I'll close with slipped point for me to stay in the same cell site

see

see

let us join this, with the front

I escaped my thread

we will make a vareta

we join with the first thing we did before

You see, already beginning to see the cells

each has a size

we continue to network with chains, and slipped point varetas

It depends on what we go missing in every moment

let us join with this sheet, with a vareta

try chains and braces will remain the tightest possible

I have no me tight, to do it through the camera

you do chains and tight braces, to make it more beautiful

and goes looking network

each has a size, is no equal

this is not difficult, you have to get the hang

If any cell you like us how is the deshacéis

little by little we doing irregular network

here there is nothing beautiful, because it is being very separate

you do chains and tight braces, so they are nice, mine have not been doing well through the camera

this is how it is becoming irregular network

we strings

I'll make a vareta

It is about making chains, braces and slipped point, as we takes to make the irregular network

change direction, and number of chains, so they are not all the same us the cells

so we irregular network is

this is to the imagination of each

what comes out is not square, not equal figures

look

if the network would gain the edge as I am doing when we give back to the Irish crochet, the network is almost the same height as the element or motive

if you make the network from the middle of each element or motive, to flip the elements or motifs you will be more three-dimensional

that's up to each

in the pink, I have it made in the edge network, if you do the network from the middle, the rose would be raised would be more three-dimensional

making the network at the edge is more blurred

making the network at the edge, is also three dimensional effect, but less than if we did the network from the middle of the element or motive

I especially do not like, I prefer to make the network almost at the edge of the elements or motifs

continue

do chains, braces and slipped point, according to need

this network is very small, a maximum of four chains I

because otherwise the cells would be too big network, I want to make small

He was released

the braces are made double, triple ... as we vallan missing in every moment

with pins put new cells of the network we are doing, to see how they

I waste a piece, because I did not like was

when ye may thrust the needle into an element or motive, take at least two threads, to make it safer

we will close with slipped point

now I like more

They had previously been very rare cells and did not like

I'll make a chain

We put the pins to go see the irregular network

the thread was hooked

Here, I'll close with slipped point

We do chains, braces and slipped point, as we go to be needed

It is quite difficult to make the irregular network and taxing video

I hope I might know what I'm doing

l

here we are going to double, we close in the next with the same vareta

to bring the two elements or motifs

in this case making double is not well

see

no excess thread and is not good, I'll undo

I escaped my thread

forgiveness, to do and undo, it is quite difficult to make the irregular network and taxing both

I hope that I may know what I'm trying to explain, and to display correctly

the important thing here is that there are no cells in the same network, and there are no squares or rectangles

the fewer squares or rectangles become more beautiful is the irregular network

You do not want to hitch on the element or motive

this is a matter of thinking about what you want to do and carry it out

It is not easy at first, because it is not well

do not worry, this matter of practice, in a short time and it will out

forgive turns that I am giving to support

when the bag is finished, when the Irish crochet fact, I want the Romanian cords are joined me pink

Irish crochet when I finish I'll give a stitch with needle Romanian lace and pink to remain united

if we sew are safer, but do not finish until the Irish crochet

You see how it is becoming

see

It is becoming all closed with each other

we change the direction of the wire, so there are no cells in the same direction

because not fit

change direction of the thread and size of cells, some with more chains, other less

with each vareta, others with double or triple vareta

To the taste of each one

the important thing is that they are more than four sides in each cell, so that it is more beautiful irregular network

not to enter

I'll close with slipped point

we gradually making the network

varetas chains, chains and varetas

as we go forward liking how it will work

if the cells want bigger you make him more chains, smaller I do not think you do, but bigger sure if

I love them small

look, I for joining cells I stick it below or above, (sometimes it is necessary to do above)

there are other colleagues who put the thread through the middle of the chain

I do so because this thread is very fine and if I get involved in the chain'm afraid it is weakened

I prefer to put it below or above, but never in the middle of the chains

at the end of the video, I put some pictures, how it has been the evolution of the network

I hope you liked m you have understood, all the doubts that you may have the will try to solve

Hello

Classic Cars|***Jaguar E-type (1961 - 1975) |Colorful LIFE - Duration: 36:58.

Jaguar E-type (1961 - 1975).

Although automotive styling is subjective, the one vehicle that seems to top more opinion

polls naming the most beautiful car in the world, the Jaguar E-type. Styled mainly by

aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer, with significant input by Sir William Lyons, the coupe and

roadsters caused a sensation when unveiled in 1961.

In short, the E-type redefined the way in which we all viewed sports cars, and how little

it could actually cost to buy a 150mph car (it cost £2098, when an Aston Martin DB4

was over £5000). Except that those famous 150mph runs in pre-production models were

never replicated by owners. Despite that the E-type was still fast enough to redefine what

was expected from top-drawer manufacturers, such as Aston Martin and Ferrari. And yet,

there was nothing new about the E-type - all of its significant componentry had been seen

before: the 3.8-litre XK engine was married to a beautiful and aerodynamic body designed

by Malcolm Sayer (and inspired by the D-type and XK-SS), underpinned by all-independent

suspension.

Although the E-type coupé was the fastest and most useful of the breed, it's the Roadster

that attracts the most attention (and greater values) today. The open-top car was just as

effective to drive as the coupe, thanks to a stiff under-structure. It was popular in

the USA as well as Europe, and a high survival rate means that there are still plenty around.

But in 1964, the 3.8-litre was superceded by the newly-expanded 4235cc version of the

XK engine. Although maximum power output remained unchanged at 265bhp, torque was increased,

improving driveability. Performance remained pretty much unchanged, and many owners gave

up tying to match the 150mph claim, as it simply wasn't possible with an unmodified

car. But the 4.2 actually felt more grown-up to drive, thanks to its lower red line and

greater torque at lower revs prompting some to say the zest had gone. Another improvement

that came in with the 4.2-litre engine was the Moss gearbox (often retro-fitted to older

cars).

Despite its global success and accolades, Jaguar knew that E-type sales were being held

back by the limitations of being a two-seater. And that's

why it introduced the 2+2 in 1966. It was created by extending the wheelbase and cabin

by nine inches to make room for kids in the back. But there were some visual compromises,

such as the taller, more upright windscreen. With the arrival of the 2+2 came a useful

boost sales, with the new variant outselling the fixed-head coupé from day one. Not as

pretty, that's for sure, but today it's the easiest way into E-type ownership.

In 1967, there were further revisions to the range, creating what has become subsequently

known as the Series 1½. It was only on sale for a year, and the Series 1½'s main purpose

seems to have been to introduce new style headlamps with no covers but more chrome trim.

They didn't look as good but they certainly worked better. The 1968 S2 brought more significant

changes, like the larger grille opening, heavier front bumpers and bigger lamps.

Mechanical changes were limited to an improved cooling system and improved brakes, which

were changed from Lockheed to Girling. Power steering was also introduced an option, ushering

in the era of the 'soft' Jaguar E-type. The 2+2 in Series 2 form received the same upgrades

('changes' is perhaps a better word), as well as a more significant change. A new windscreen

was introduced - its base had been moved as far as the bulkhead

would allow to increase the rake, improving aerodynamics. It also received with stiffer

front torsion bars to counteract the additional weight.

Out of the lot, the Series 2 Coupes are the rarest of all the E-types. Fewer than 5000

were built, and they represented the end of the original shorter-wheelbase coupé body

style.

In 1971, the E-type would receive its most far-ranging changes. Walter Hassan, one of

Britain's pre-eminent postwar engineers and mastermind behind the Coventry Climax

Formula 1 engines, worked with Jaguar technical boss Harry Mundy to produce an all-new V12.

It was Jaguar's first production V12-powered car, designed for maximum smoothness. Maxumum

speed was still shy of 150mph, and fuel consumption was attrocious going into the 1973 energy

crisis.

The front-end styling with its prominent chrome grille lacks the grace of the earlier cars',

and the suspension was softer too, but as Jaguar was looking towards the American market,

these changes were inevitable. The V12 was only 36kg heavier than the straight six, and

handling balance wasn't too drastically affected. Although many E-type fans criticised

for being a cruiser and not a sports car, the E-type Series III still has massive appeal.

And all Jaguar E-types remain pretty much the most iconic classic cars money can buy.

Model Timeline.

December 1956. Work commenced on the new Jaguar sports car.

Work commenced on the E-type in December 1956. The first prototype was completed in May 1957,

and had the official title of E-type 1 Aluminium, or E1A. The E1A was smaller than the production

E-type, at 14ft 2in in length, but larger than the D-type. Its construction was largely

derived from the D-type, and featured a central monocoque tub. However, where it differed

from the D-type, was in its use of a new independent rear suspension system. The E1A was powered

by the short-block 2.4-litre XK engine, that had been developed for the Jaguar Mk1, that

had been launched in 1955.

The E1A was extensively tested by Jaguar's team of drivers, but in May 1958, Heynes decided

to lend E1A to the editor of The Motor magazine, Christopher Jennings, for an independent appraisal.

Jennings was impressed by the car's ability to cover distances rapidly, even with just

120bhp. By this time, Jaguar had built a second E-type prototype for the road, and which more

closely resembled the production car. The E-type gradually evolved during 1958, a year

when Jaguar also began work on the Zenith project, which became the big top of the range

MkX saloon. Both cars would feature independent rear suspension designed by Bob Knight (in

an amazing 27 days) as part of a bet with Jaguar boss Sir William Lyons. Knight's

suspension design would end up enduring into the 1990s…

July 1959. Landmark Jaguar E2A prototype built.

By July 1959, Jaguar had a third E-type prototype on the road. In 1960, the public had its first

view of the style of the next Jaguar sports car when the E2A sports-racer was unveiled.

E2A was not an E-type prototype as such; it was based on the D-type, but shared the future

E-type's wheelbase, and was intended to compete in the 1960 Le Mans 24 Hour, where

it was entered by American Jaguar enthusiast and distributor, Briggs Cunningham. E2A retired

from the event.

March 1961. Jaguar E-type revealed to the press in Geneva.

It was planned to unveil the E-type at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show Prior to this, Jaguar

would loan the two major UK weekly motoring magazines, The Autocar and The Motor a car

to test. These road tests would go on to prove pivotal in marketing the E-type, but a press

embargo was in force until the actual unveiling of the new sports car. Jaguar already had

one car on the company's stand in Geneva, but it was decided that another E-type was

required for Sir William Lyons to show to the media.

At around 7pm on Tuesday 14 March 1961, Jaguar's PR department employee, Bob Berry, left Browns

Lane, Coventry in a fixed head E-type, registered 9600HP. Berry drove virtually flat out through

the night, arriving in Geneva, where he drove to the local Jaguar distributor for a 20-minute

wash and polish, before heading to the Parc des Eaux Vives for the public unveiling by

Sir William Lyons. Surrounded by up to 200 members of the press, 9600HP caused a sensation,

and so did the price. At £2097 for the roadster and £2196 for the FHC, it was condemnably

cheaper than similar performing cars from Ferrari, Aston Martin and Chevrolet, and was

on a par with much slower cars from Porsche and AC. In fact, the E-types was initially

sold at a cheaper price than the outgoing XK150.

So what was the technical specification of this sensational new Jaguar sports car? The

powertrain, which was carried over from the XK150S, was a 3781 cc XK engine mated to a

four-speed Moss transmission, without overdrive. Jaguar claimed the E-type engine produced

265bhp (SAE) at 5500 rpm, but this was – to say the least – an exaggeration. The cast

iron cylinder block was actually manufactured by Leyland Motors in Lancashire, a task it

had performed since 1948, predating its involvement in the management of Jaguar. The aluminium

cylinder head came from two sources, West Yorkshire Foundries of York and William Mills

of Wednesbury, Staffordshire.

The XK engine was fed by triple 2in SU HD8 SU carburettors. The body employed a central

monocoque made of steel, a year before the monocoque chassis made its appearance in Formula

One racing. The Bob Knight designed independent rear suspension, and the careful use of rubber,

helped suppress noise and vibration. Initially, the car was available in two forms, the roadster

– styled by Malcolm Sayer – and the fixed head coupe (FHC), featuring an opening rear

hatchback, which also had some input from Sir William Lyons and Bob Blake. The E-type

was the only Jaguar car produced during Lyons' active involvement in the running of the company,

not wholly styled by the boss himself.

So far the looks and price of the E-type had set pulses racing, but later in March 1961,

came the publication of the road tests.

The Motor magazine tested 77 RW, a roadster, and the second E-type to be built by the production

department. This car could reach 60mph in 7.1 seconds and attain a maximum speed of

149mph. The Motor men assigned to the task were John Anstice Brown and Charles Bulmer,

who would go on to become the magazine's editor. An indication that perhaps the results

attained by the Motor men were not typical of the standard production cars was the decision

to equip the test car, 77 RW, with Dunlop R5 racing tyres. Certainly, Charles Bulmer

later felt that 77 RW had a more powerful engine than standard cars.

The Autocar tested 9600HP, which was in fact the seventh E-type prototype, the second FHC,

and the car Bob Berry drove to Geneva. To evaluate the car's performance the magazine

used two journalists, one with an interesting past and one with an interesting future: Maurice

A Smith DFC was concurrently both editor of The Autocar and Flight. During the WW2, he

had completed a tour of operations with 619 squadron, RAF Bomber Command before becoming

one of Five Group's master bombers. It was in this role that he led the first wave of

bombers on the controversial Dresden raid of February 1945. His partner on the test

was Peter Riviere, who later quit motoring journalism to enter the world of academia,

and became a distinguished Professor of Anthropology.

The Autocar team, again using Dunlop R5 racing tyres, managed to achieve 150.4mph and a 0-60mph

time of 6.9 seconds. The all important 150mph barrier had been breached, and Jaguar Cars

marketing machine exploited it.

When 9600HP was restored by its current owner, Jaguar historian Philip Porter, the engine

was found to be a run in XK150S unit with a gas flowed cylinder head carefully matched

to the inlet and exhaust manifolds – possibly worth an extra 20-25bhp. Maurice Smith later

owned a 3.8 litre E-type roadster, and claimed he never got more than 137mph out of it. There

is strong evidence that motoring journalists were provided with either carefully blueprinted

or tweaked engines in order to attain headline grabbing results in order to create the myth

of the 150mph Jaguar E-type.

The main criticisms of the E-type were reserved for the seating, the high oil consumption,

lack of space, poor braking and the ageing Moss gearbox, which lacked synchromesh on

first gear.

The E-type was launched at a time when the UK motor industry was coming out recession

and bedeviled by unofficial strikes, with BMC particularly afflicted. The new Jaguar

was an instant hit, and the company hoped to ramp up production to 150 per week by the

Autumn of 1961. However disputes at Smiths industries and SU Carburettors, suppliers

to the Coventry company, restricted production to 2160 E-types in 1961. In fact by August

1961 only 383 cars had been built.

In October 1961, Jaguar took over Guy Motors and announced the big MkX saloon, which used

the same tune XK engine and transmission as the E-type. In early 1962, a series of internal

industrial disputes again paralysed production after Jaguar had won a large American order

for its cars, and the disruption continued on and off for the rest of the year. Jaguar

managed to ramp up production to 150 cars per week in March 1962. Despite the industrial

disputes, Jaguar produced 6266 E-types in 1962. If the E-type looked futuristic, British

car manufacturing industrial relations seemed positively archaic in comparison.

A sign that the E-type was not perfect was exposed by the new Ford Cortina, launched

in September 1962. Unlike the Coventry car, the Cortina had synchromesh on bottom gear…

In April 1963, Autocar tested the latest revised E-type FHC, and this time reached 152.7 mph

with a 0-60mph time of 7.2 seconds. After the initial rush for the car in 1961/1962,

E-type production for 1963 was down to 4065.

October 1963. 4.2-litre engine fitted to the Jaguar E-type

In October, Jaguar announced the new 4.2-litre XK engine for use in the MkX saloon and E-type.

Built in response to the large capacity V8 engines appearing in the USA, the new 4235cc

engine boosted torque from the 3.8-litre's 260lb ft at 4000rpm to 283lb ft at 4000rpm.

The quoted power output remained at 265bhp (SAE), but now at the slightly lower 5400

rpm. Along with the new engine, came a new all-synchromesh four-speed gearbox designed

by William GJ Watson, although again there was still no overdrive facility for the sports

car…

The E-type gained a revised electrical system and improved seating. So how did the revised

car perform?

Motor magazine tested ARW 732B, a 4.2-litre FHC for its issue of 31 October 1964. It managed

to attain 150mph and a 0-60 mph time of 7seconds, with more refinement, but that was not the

whole story. According to David Benson, then on the staff of Motor, the testers could not

get more than 148mph out of ARW 732B, so Jaguar insisted that the car was returned to them

for some fettling, which duly done then provided the magic 150 figure. Autocar was not able

to lay its hands on a test car until May 1965, when it tested another FHC, AWK 349B. Using

Dunlop R6 racing tyres, it managed 153mph and a 0-60mph time of 7.6seconds. Total Jaguar

E-type production for 1964 was 3960 cars.

March 1966. Jaguar E-type 2+2 launched.

At the Geneva Motor show in March 1966, the delayed 2+2 E-type was announced. Right from

the E-type's earliest days, Sir William Lyons had demanded more room inside, and after

a five-year gestation period, the finished article appeared. Using the internal codename

of XJ8, the 2+2 was only available as a FHC and had its wheelbase lengthened by 9in to

8ft 9in.

Weight was increased by 63.5kg. The 2+2 also featured a taller windscreen, longer doors

and room in the back for two children. It was also available with a three speed Borg-Warner

model 8 automatic transmission. The style was penned by Bob Blake. The 2+2 was the first

alteration to the E-type's form, and although stylistically it was less of a success, from

a business point of view it made perfect sense. 1966 was the E-type's best year yet, with

some 6880 leaving the factory, with the new 2+2 proving to be the most popular model.

Motor tested FVC 581D, a 2+2 FHC automatic. Top speed was 136.2mph and its 0-60mph time

was 8.9seconds. Autocar, meanwhile, tested a manual version and reached a terminal velocity

of 139mph and and completed the 0-60mph dash in 7.4 seconds. The E-type was getting slower…

The 2+2 E-type seemed to point the way to the future for the Jaguar sports car. Behind

the scenes, Jaguar worked on its 60-degree modular V8 and V12 engines with commonised

parts. These were intended for a new generation of cars including the XJ21 project, which

was the planned E-type replacement. Work on XJ21 commenced around October 1966, and from

the off, it was planned as a purpose built 2+2. Jaguar was also looking at developing

a smaller sports car using the 2.5-litre Daimler V8, a 3-litre XK engine, or the in-development

3.5-litre V8. The company was certainly ambitious, but its financial resources made such goals

unobtainable. The merger with BMC put paid to plans for a smaller Jaguar sports cars

with the 3-litre MGC waiting in the wings.

October 1967. Jaguar E-type gets its first facelift.

On 5 October 1967 Jaguar announced a revised E-type, known retrospectively as the Series

1½. This was to meet impending US emissions legislation due to come into force on 1st

January 1968, and this was after it had been delayed some four months by protests from

British manufacturers. Jaguar spent £250,000 to enable the E-type to meet these new regulations.

The most obvious revision to the Series 1½ was the removal of the perspex headlamp covers

and the moving forward of the headlamps by 2.5in. This was another bastardization of

Malcolm Sayer's design, although the Perspex covers did diffuse the headlights. According

to Jaguar's press release of the time, a total of 21 changes were made to the export

cars to satisfy US regulations. In October 1967, Autocar magazine tested the latest revised

E-type roadster. The car performed best with the hood up, with a top speed of 140mph. With

the hood down, it could only manage 130mph. The 0-60mph time was 7.4seconds.

On 17 January 1968, it was announced that BMH and Leyland were merging to form the British

Leyland Motor Corporation, and by the Autumn Sir William Lyons became deputy Chairman.

But 1968 was the year when the E-type ceased to be Browns Lane's main attraction. There

was a new kid on the block, and it was unveiled on 26 September. The Jaguar XJ6 was the culmination

of all Jaguar Cars technical expertise all in one car. In terms of ride, handling, stability

and comfort it was in a different league to what had gone before. Not only that, but it

was able to carry four people in comfort and the manual version was available with overdrive,

something the E-type never had, yet was available on cheaper sports cars such as the MGB and

Triumph Spitfire. The acclaim for the saloon was instantaneous and a huge waiting list

soon built up and Jaguar began phasing out its older saloons to free up production capacity

to produce even more. It was also reported at the time that V8 and V12 engines were in

the offing.

October 1968. Jaguar E-type series 2 launched.

At that year's Earls Court motor show, the Series 2 E-type, codenamed X12, was announced.

There were numerous mechanical and styling changes, but no price increase – the biggest

styling change, in the 2+2 FHC, was a redesigned windscreen, eliminating the earlier 'high

hat' look with the angle of rake increased from 46 degrees to 53.5 degrees from the vertical

– a change which also improved aerodynamic efficiency. The new E-types had sturdier bumpers,

which wrapped around the entire nose and tail, giving better body protection. Beneath them

were new, enlarged indicators, with bigger twin stop lights at the rear. For the first

time, Jaguar offered bolt-on, pressed steel wheels as alternatives to the wire-spoke type,

at extra cost. The headlamps were as the Series 1½.

The front air intake had been re-shaped and enlarged, with a 68% aperture increase to

give reserve capacity when air conditioning equipment was fitted. Also for the first time

the E-type was offered with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering as an optional extra.

using the same system as on the new Jaguar XJ6 saloon. Air conditioning was now an option

on American market cars and the car now featured a crossflow radiator with twin electric fans.

Power on the US bound cars was now down to 245bhp SAE or 171bhp (net). The new American

regulations demanded a reduction in hydrocarbon emissions, and this was an area where the

six-cylinder XK engine did not perform well.

So how did the Series 2 E-type perform? In November 1970, John Bolster tested a two-seat

FHC for Autosport. Bolster still managed a respectable 142mph and a 0-60mph time of 7.2

seconds. Again the alterations seemed to pay off, with 9948 leaving Browns Lane in 1969,

the peak year of production – and 8643 of these were exported. And this was despite

a five-week strike at Leyland Vehicles in Lancashire, which supplied XK cylinder blocks

which forced Jaguar to lay off workers. This was also the year Williams Heynes retired

as Technical Director, to be succeeded by Walter Hassan.

In 1969, the American car magazine Road & Track carried out a survey of 100 E-type owners,

and came up with mixed results. By and large, Americans owners liked the car, but the survey

revealed it did have a penchant for unreliability. The main faults were inaccurate instruments,

overheating, oil leaks, dodgy electrics, failing clutches, water leaks and body parts falling

off. There were complaints about lack of ventilation, lack of space, poor heating and de-misting.

Such comments were not lost on senior Jaguar management as it drew up the specifications

of the E-type's eventual replacement. Several UK dealers had lobbied Jaguar to raise the

price of the E-type by £100 to enable more attention to be devoted to eliminating annoying

faults in the car – but all to no avail.

By May 1970 it was reported that E-type production had slowed down to 250 per week. Perhaps with

a huge waiting list for the more profitable XJ6 saloon led Jaguar to switch some E-type

production capacity over to the newer car? Tragically in July 1970, Jaguar aerodynamicist

Malcolm Sayer suffered a fatal heart attack. He was already working on the E-type's successor

which had mutated from the XJ21 into the larger XJ27/XJ-S.

In a sense the Series 2 E-type was a better car than its predecessor – American buyers,

in particular, demanded more comfort and air conditioning, even at the expense of performance

and looks and the sales success of 1969/70 reflected this.

Although it had originally planned to replace the E-type with the XJ21, finances dictated

that that Jaguar examined the possibility of using a shortened XJ saloon floorpan and

the forthcoming V12 engine. This made perfect sense as it enabled a degree of rationalisation

to take place and produce a roomier car with space for all the equipment consumers demanded.

Also, Sir William Lyons wanted a more refined GT car which could retail at a higher price

and generate more profit for the company. This became project XJ27 which evolved into

the XJ-S. A direct E-type replacement would have to wait until the funds became available

to develop one.

As related earlier, Jaguar was working on a modular 60 degree V8/V12 engine, although

the V8 was to prove a blind alley. Originally the V12 was intended for the XJ saloon, but

in 1968 Technical Director William Heynes pushed for the V12 engine to be used in the

E-type. The shoehorning of the V12 into the E-type became project XJ25. The first prototype

was completed in 1969 and extensive testing followed with 87 production cars being completed

by the end of 1970.

March 1971.Jaguar E-type series 3 launched.

The XJ25 was launched in March 1971 as the Series 3 Jaguar E-type and became the first

car to use the new 5343cc V12 engine. The V12 was fitted with four Zenith Stromberg

175CD carburettors and was rated at 314bhp (SAE) at 5850 rpm, but by now Jaguar was admitting

it was in reality 272bhp DIN. Transmission was the Jaguar four-speed manual or the optional

Borg-Warner 12J three-speed automatic. At launch, Jaguar stated that the XK engined

E-type would remain available in Series 3 form, but in reality only three were manufactured.

Visually the Series 3 E-type was recognisable by its enlarged air intake which was fitted

with a chrome grille, similar in style to that fitted to the XJ6 saloon. Pressed steel

wheels with chrome hubcaps were standard, and wire wheels were now an optional extra.

The wheels were now 6in wide, an inch more than before, which resulted in the car having

flared wheelarches. The Series 3 also featured a wider track, power steering as standard,

and more powerful brakes. The decision was made to standardise the 8ft 9in wheelbase

of the 2+2, which meant the 2-seater FHC was no longer available. So how did it perform

out on the road?

At the end of 1971 Denis Jenkinson, by now running a Series 2 Roadster, spent a week

test driving the new V12 E-type. 'For all normal motoring purposes, I could not see

that the V12 engine gave any particular advantage over the six-cylinder, apart from the incredible

smoothness and flexibility. Obviously it had a lot more power, and it did everything the

4.2 did, at a 20mph higher speed. Where the 4.2 would cruise at 100mph with little or

no throttle opening, the V12 cruised at 120mph with the foot eased right back, but at the

expense of 15mpg against 21mpg. The acceleration of the 4.2 at 100 mph for instant overtaking,

or getting ahead of an impending situation, was repeated by the V12 at 120mph though maximum

speed was no better than the 3.8-litre E-type…

When driven spiritedly, the Series 3 began to show up a lot of shortcomings, even though

it had been improved with a wider track. It had lower profile tyres on wider rims, better

brakes with ventilated discs, and improved dampers; but even so the new V12 engine was

such a big stride forward, that the concept of the E-type could not keep pace with it

– and it was all too easy to run out of roadholding, steering and braking ability

if you gave the 5.3-litres their freedom.'

Motor magazine tested a Series 3 Roadster in November 1971 and achieved a maximum speed

of 146mph, 3mph down on 77 RW a decade before. If nothing else, it showed how much less aerodynamic

the E-type had become. What was more impressive was the 0-60mph time, now down to 6.4seconds.

Autocar tested the FHC and came away with 142mph and 6.8seconds.

At £3123 for the Roadster and £3,369 for the FHC, the Series 3 was still great value

for money. It was cheaper than the £3671 Porsche 911, which could only manage 125mph.

If you still wanted 150mph, you could opt for the Ferrari 365GT 2+2, but it would cost

£9141. By now there were even faster cars on the market, such as the Lamborghini Miura,

which for £10,860 could top 170mph. The 1970s would be the decade of the supercar, and although

the E-type was perhaps the progenitor of these, it was a game Jaguar could no longer afford

to indulge in.

In 1971, Jaguar built 35 XK E-types and 3746 V12s, which was down on the previous few years

– and was perhaps an indication that the car was losing its sales appeal.

The automatic transmission XJ12 with a maximum speed of 135.7mph was little slower than the

FHC Series 3 E-type, which showed how much chassis development had progressed since 1961.

In 1972 E-type production amounted to some 3705 cars, but the assembly lines had been

at a standstill for around thirteen weeks during the year due to industrial disputes.

Also during the year Jaguar Technical Director Walter Hassan retired to be replaced by Bob

Knight.

As for the E-type, time was running out. All cars exported to the USA from 1974 had to

have ungainly rubber bumper overriders which added weight and further distorted the cars

appearance. And to make matters worse there were more restrictive American safety regulations

on the way for 1976. Sadly for the E-type, its boot mounted petrol tank could not meet

the mandatory 30mph rearward barrier crash test due to come in force. Demand in the USA

had now virtually evaporated and because Jaguar had not cut back on production, there were

many unsold cars at dealerships.

September 1974. The final Jaguar E-type was built.

To be fair to Jaguar, many pundits felt that the energy crisis would not affect Jaguar

because of the pre-energy crisis waiting list for their cars, but quite clearly it had.

Only 2759 E-types were manufactured in 1974, the last emerging in the week ending 14 September

1974. Before he retired, Lofty England took the decision to axe the car, but the E-type

was ultimately doomed by American regulations, and customer expectations the car could not

deliver. In 1974 the American Road & Track magazine tested a Series 3 V12 and commented:

'What was such a magnificent engine doing in such an outdated body?'

The final E-type, registered HDU 555N was retained by Jaguar Cars, the last of 72,233

cars. As there were many unsold cars at dealers, Jaguar delayed announcing the end of E-type

production until February 1975.

Why Increasing PRP Injections Won't Stop Hair Loss, and One-Time Treatment to Thicken Hair - Duration: 10:44.

Thank you

for your question. You've submitted 2 photos and you are asking

will platelet-rich plasma (PRP) recover your hair loss in your temples and you've stated

that you've been losing hair and you've been using minoxidil for about 2 and half

years. And currently, you've completed 3 sessions of what will be a 10 weekly session

process of getting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections. So naturally, I think that it's

understandable that you want to know if this will actually work.

Well, I can certainly give you my perspective. A little bit of background, I'm a Board-certified

cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship-trained oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. I've

been in practice in Manhattan and Long Island for over 20 years. I'm also the founder

of TrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration Centers. This is as technology we developed in our

practice while doing hair transplants which uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) as well as

Acellular matrix which I will discuss further as a non-surgical treatment that has been

significant and has changed the way we practice in helping people with hair loss.

So, I'll share with you my experience with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) as it relates to

hair loss. Now to begin with, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a concentration of wound healing

growth factors that are naturally in your blood and they stimulate collagen, they stimulate

blood supply. They have a lot of different factors that when concentrated, have shown

to have a stimulatory effect for hair follicles. Now that being said and these have been actually

documented in dermatologic literature to help certainly validate the use of platelet-rich

plasma (PRP). In our practice, we use platelet-rich plasma (PRP) a lot. We use it for skin rejuvenation,

we use it for wrinkles, we use it for under eye dark circles, we use it for acne scars.

We use platelet-rich plasma (PRP) a lot. But when it comes to hair loss, the experience

that we've had is that platelet-rich plasma (PRP) will stimulate hair growth but it will

not stop the progression of hair loss and it's a very important element to your plan

because in my experience, people have come to us getting platelet-rich plasma (PRP) done

elsewhere, they've done it once a month. And by the 4th month, they were not sure whether

or not they were going anywhere. There have been others who recommend doing it every 3

months and I think that a lot of my colleagues are developing their own approach based on

their clinical experience and I think why it varies has to do a lot with the stage of

the growth cycle and whether or not the resting stage or telogen stage of hair is actually

being responsive to the injection. So from my perspective, a weekly platelet-rich plasma

(PRP) injection seems very aggressive.

Physiologically speaking, just on the wound healing concept and the actual physiology

of wound healing, it seems like you're creating new wounds by just entering the tissue space

or the skin and it might be disrupting what's going on. Now, that in no way means that your

doctor doesn't have a valid explanation of why they're recommending weekly treatments.

One thing about clinical medicine that should always be respected is that each individual

physician is making a decision to guide you on what's best for you based on their experiences.

This is the art of clinical medicine.

Now that being said, I want to introduce you to a little bit about what we developed in

our practice which is relevant because we use platelet-rich plasma (PRP). We were first

trying to help hair transplant patients heal better so we are using platelet-rich plasma

(PRP). We then were using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with something called Acellular matrix.

This is a wound healing technology that takes the regenerative medicine capacity of PRP

to a very different level. It is not like getting very highly concentrated platelet-rich

plasma (PRP) which a lot of people are trying to improve the concentration of platelets

but rather there is a certain behavior that is unique to extracellular matrix and what

it does is it heals by duplication of cells. So when placed on muscle cells, it heals with

muscle instead of scar tissue. On skin, when I use for it facelifts or any other cosmetic

surgical procedure, I find that the healing is accelerated and the appearance is remarkable.

Now what we ultimately developed was a protocol based on an observation and the observation

was that thinning hair started to look thicker in different patients when we are combining

platelet-rich plasma (PRP) with Acellular matrix for the purpose of healing the donor

area of the hair transplant patient as well as the hair grafts themselves. Long story

short, we developed protocol and that now has been successfully consistent for 99% of

men and women with genetic pattern hair loss, androgenic alopecia. With Hair Regeneration,

we are able to stop progression, reactivate hair that is not growing which is basically

in the resting phase which is prolonged when hair is thinning as well as induce the shed

of thinning hair and the growth of thicker hair. Again, with many years of data, in fact,

over 5 years of data, we've not seen any significant trend of regression.

So to contrast Hair Regeneration with what you are going through, it really is no comparison.

We do a single injection and we are able to get consistently five years of successful

improvement of hair loss. We've developed even further, so for people with moderate

to severe hair loss, we do something called a booster injection which is around 15 months

later. So it's really a very different model even though we are using platelet-rich plasma

(PRP). So, I think you need certainly ask your doctor and I'm sure your doctor probably

said to you that they're going to do their best and see if you get any growth and it

depends a lot on the salvageability of the hair follicles. Again, for me, a weekly injection

of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) doesn't seem to make sense for when you think of the physiology

of wound healing. But your doctor may have a protocol and I'm sure you looked at before

and after pictures and other things but the question really ultimately is how long can

you really keep doing this? Going for injections in the scalp once a week for 10 weeks may

be fine but how long can you do that and keep doing that again for another 10 weeks?

My observation has been that platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can stimulate hair growth but

it cannot stimulate sustained hair growth. So I think this is an opportunity for you

to learn more about the technology behind Hair Regeneration in our experience and you

can then at least compare and contrast your options and certainly discuss the feasibility

and when should you expect results. When we talk to our patients about Hair Regeneration,

we have treated so many people from around the world and we have so much data that we

collect and we follow our patients every 3 months, that we are able to give them very

specific information about the scenarios and how they can play out and then we follow up

with each patient and take very specific photos, microscope photos, etc. to be able to document

their improvement.

So I hope that was helpful, I wish you the best of luck and thank you for your question.

The BIGGEST Tricks People Try to Pull! - Duration: 11:44.

Have you ever been fooled by any of these tricks?!

9.

Pink Nipple Cream Have you ever been impressed by the pinkness

of a certain someone's nipples?

Well apparently, the pinker the better for some.

While some people are trying to get their skin to look darker and tanner, others are

concerned with getting their nipples to look lighter and pinker.

Now, before you get too concerned about the color of nipples in whether they are pink

enough, please remember that nipples naturally suit the color of a person's skin.

It's only during pregnancy that the area around female nipples, known as your areolas,

may get darker because of a change in hormones.

This is nothing to be concerned about.

Temporary darkening of the nipples is absolutely no indication of declining health.

For some, however, not having pink enough nipples proves too much to handle.

There're multiple products out there aimed at getting that rosy complexion back on track.

The internet is full of ads for creams and gels that help you to chemically blast that

youthful pinkness back into your nips.

The thing is, you're actually damaging them.

Pinkness is not restored as much as it's induced.

The creams don't get your hormones back to normal, nor do they superficially alter

the surface color — they bleach and bruise your nipples to a nice raw injury-pink!

8.

Contouring So, for those who don't know what contouring

is — it is basically advanced makeup techniques that can be used to create the impression

of an almost entirely different facial structure.

Contouring is usually produced by placing a warm or cool toned color that's one or

two shades darker than the skin color in areas such as in the hollows of the cheeks, on the

side of the nose, and on the temples to give a shadow and slimming effect.

It can be complemented with a highlighter that is one or two shades lighter than the

skin color on areas of the face that is more prominent such as on the apples on the cheeks

and the tip of the nose Check out some online videos of this stuff.

Some transformations are quite extreme!

Oh, yeah.

It's not just the ladies that do this out there.

There are plenty of men too who also use this technique to accentuate their abs and pecs.

Come onnnnnnnnn!

7.

Synthol Injections You know those intrusive pictures that sometimes

pop up on the side of your Facebook feed?

Those absurd pics of some dude with biceps that look like he has two frying pans shoved

underneath his skin?

Those ones that look like they're clearly photoshopped?

Well, it turns out that a lot of those pictures are real after all.

The pictures are real, but the muscles are fake.

That sort of disproportionate swelling of specific muscle areas is caused by something

called synthol.

Synthol injections more specifically.

Now, Synthol is NOT a steroid.

It actually doesn't make you stronger or improve your short term endurance in the slightest.

It's purely aesthetic…If you could even call it that.

Synthol is perfectly legal and has been used for years by bodybuilders that want to enhance

the appearance of lagging muscles by injecting it straight into specific areas.

It's an injectable concoction made up of more or less, 85% oil, 7.5% lidocaine, and

7.5% alcohol.

This is definitely NOT advanced chemistry so those percentages will often vary.

When you spike it into your muscle, Synthol takes effect almost immediately, making it

literally the fastest way to get jacked.

Or to look like you are jacked.

In recent years, the substance has become increasingly popular among bodybuilders in

Latin America.

Some of the results have been shocking.

The truth is that synthol is very dangerous.

Apart from the fact that it makes people look like some sort of fake cartoon character,

it can have pretty serious consequences.

It frequently leads to site infections where you need to have large amounts of puss drained

from your infected muscles.

In more severe cases it leads to amputation and even death.

Come on.

That way too high a price to pay just to look like some grotesque real-life Johnny Bravo

parody!

6.

Water bras A bra, as we all know, is designed to support,

and sometimes also to enhance the appearance of breasts.

Water bras take the enhancing part a step further.

Apart from supporting, padding and shaping the breasts, it also dramatically alters the

size of the breasts.

Or at least it appears that way.

They usually contain a liquid gel, not actual H2O.

The modern bra became popular just as corsets began to go out of style.

This was also when the emphasis shifted away from shape towards comfort and support.

It seems like the water bra is trying to bring back the shape element of undergarments in

a big way.

The gel-filled cups are meant to look more natural than typically padded bras.

Old-fashioned padded bras, particularly the torpedo or bullet bras that were popular in

the 1940s and 1950s, made breasts look like pointy ice cream cones.

For many decades since, the padded bra was the way forward.

But bra manufacturers eventually began to produce bras that moved along naturally with

breasts as women go about their daily lives.

That was the beginning of the water bra, and they have only become more and more popular

as well as becoming better and better at making breasts look bigger, but still natural.

Typically, these bras contain a half teardrop-shaped sachet attached to the bottom part of the

cup.

It simultaneously pushes up the real flesh while filling up the bottom part with a natural-looking

gel. 5.Melanotan tanning injections

Melanotan is like a chemical spray tan.

But instead of being externally applied with a skin dye, it's applied with a syringe

straight into the bloodstream until it eventually shows up on the skin surface.

Melanotan was first synthesized at the University of Arizona.

Researchers there knew that one of the best defenses against skin cancer was melanin activated

in the skin.

In other words: A TAN!

The researchers hypothesized that an effective way to reduce the risks of skin cancer in

people would be to induce the body's natural pigmentary system to produce a protective

tan prior to any actual UV exposure.

General public users of Melanotan have been reported to number into the thousands.

Despite the substance not being approved by any official regulatory body, there's a

thriving internet-based market of people using this stuff on the daily.

There's a website, melanotan.org, where members can discuss their experiences using

the unlicensed and unregulated drug.

The site was reported to have more than 5,000 members as of February 2009 and the numbers

have only grown since then.

A January 2009 report in Wired Science described the site's forum as having more than 50,000

posts primarily covering "Usage and Experimentation".

The members who have extensive experience with detailed regimens explain how to attain

skin darkening and/or sexual function improvements.

Oh, sexual function improvements?

Apparently that's……..one of the side effects of Melanotan injections.

It treats erectile dysfunction.

So if you happen to be unhappy, pale and chronically flaccid, Melanotan might be just what you

need.

4.

Platform Shoes Height increasing "elevator shoes" for

men are shoes with some serious padding on the inside as well as the outside.

Good elevator shoes don't actually look bulky at all, but if you take a closer look,

you'll see that they can add a good couple of inches to anyone who steps into them.

Like most formal shoes, these elevator shoes have a padded heel, that already gives you

an inch or two.

But then, these shoes also have extra padding on the inside of the shoe, by the heel for

further, and much more inconspicuous lift.

So next time you see your friend that suddenly had a growth spurt at the age of 25, check

out his shoes!

3.

Male Muscle Implants Male plastic surgery in general, and muscle

implants specifically, are way more prevalent than most of us would imagine.

Men have been getting fake titties for just about as long as women have.

And that's not to even mention all the other muscles that some men like to get surgically

inserted into their bodies.

Whether a dude is too lazy to go to the gym, has trouble evening out a misshapen chest,

or has the genetics preventing him from getting as swole as he wants to be, male implants

have been around for quite some time now.

Pecs seem to be the top request, but calves and abs are also something dudes have been

getting sliced open for, for quite some time.

Has anyone actually seen a muscle implant that actually looks natural?!

2.

The Butt Bra and other shapewear I'd like to call this the biggest hoax in

fashion history.

Some might even call shapewear controversial—from its potential health implications to dudes

like me being misled by "toned" bodies that are really squeezed into figure-flattering

undergarments.

Despite all that, the shapewear industry keeps getting bigger and shapewear products become

more and more innovative by the day.

Now, how does this stuff actually work?

Shapewear brand Va Bien's co-founder Marianne Gimble says it makes people appear skinny

by using a combination of elastic and rigid fabrics that are cut into a pattern that nips

and tucks the body.

Seriously how comfortable can this stuff be?!

One of the most popular shapewear products is the butt-bra.

It squeezes all of the flesh around the hips and top of the legs towards the buttocks,

which are totally uncovered.

The result is a butt that's slim on the top and sides, but with a prominently protruding

bubble butt.

Come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!

1.

Double Chin Tape This is a tape to literally pull back your

double chin, or saggy neck before a photo shoot or a night out.

With the new selfie culture that tends to inspire some people to take photos from up

close and from peculiar and unflattering angles, something had to be done to protect those

people from being photo bombed by the most uninvited of guests: the double chin.

Excessive dieting and exercising may reduce the signs of this unwelcome feature, but like

most parts of our bodies, it could be down to genetics and body composition.

The chin tape was created to rectify this in a matter of seconds.

Much like scotch tape, it's very easy to use, sticky, odorless and gets the job done.

However unlike scotch tape, it's well camouflaged and used directly on your skin.

The tape straps on from the corner of your neck, around the back, to the other corner,

leaving the front smooth and flatly stretched out.

The manufacturers assume that their target market will have long hair, since it relies

on your head hair to cover the tape on the back while giving off the impression of a

skinny youthful neck in the front.

So if you have short hair, and a wrinkly, or chubby chin, you unfortunately will need

to make an alternative plan because Double chin tape is not for you.

Unless you don't mind walking around with clearly visible tape on your back of course!

Here's what's next!

Lightwarriors, Fear Not What Is Happening To You — Everything Is Perfect! - Duration: 6:57.

Lightwarriors, Fear Not What Is Happening To You Everything Is Perfect!

By Dreamcatcher.

I have to admit, sometimes I look at the enormity of the task we lightwarriors have taken on

and it makes me balk a little, I have to step back for a little breather.

I look at the way our society is still rampantly destroying our natural environment, I notice

the disharmony and discord between people and I notice the apparent injustice of the

rich getting materially richer whilst the poor get increasingly poorer (made even more

extreme by the new political leadership of late).

Yet as I look deeper, I see the perfect conditions gathering.

We know that society doesnt really serve us dont we?

We know that the controlled, conditioned and compartmentalised lifestyles only dehumanise

and strip people of their divine sensitivity.

But still theres the allurement, still theres the apparent dependency the

carrot and the stick which makes people keep plugging away, nose to the grindstone.

So if the situation more strongly reveals its shadow side, to me thats definitely

a good thing.

Life is changing, we are changing.

The Opposing Consciousness, that sustains the old reality, can feel it, and is thrashing

around desperately clinging on, tooth and claw, to the old ways.

Remember it always looks strong at the end but its mostly bravado and bluff (just

look at the current debacle with the US travel ban: Cometh the Hour, Cometh the Judge).

Strongly now the old reality is revealing its shocking shadow side and the new one coming

increasingly into view.

But you cant necessarily see the New Paradigm with 3D eyes (except in metaphor).

We have to look beyond the unfolding physical drama and intuit the story within the story,

both in our own lives and on the worldwide stage.

For each a reason

Every single moment has a reason, a purpose, no matter how challenging or difficult that

moment might be.

We lose a job for example, relationships get difficult or break up, physical possessions

challenge us like the car, the computer or the TV.

Inconvenience seemingly messes with our lives.

But theres always truth within the inconvenience.

When people come on our Advanced Spiritual Courses, which are all about aligning with

and following the path of the soul, they pretty much always complete them with a deep inner

yearning to truly follow their destined pathway in life.

So sometime after the course has completed, something unexpected will frequently happen

to derail the old pathway some kind of spanner in the works

Meditation and inner exploration will most definitely reveal the higher self energies

were looking to integrate.

But its their direct practical application into daily life where we attain true mastery

of self.

What are the challenges of interpersonal relationships or of your career?

Above all, what happens to you when things go wrong?

Do you lose it, do you flap?

Or do you see it as an opportunity to soften and go deeper still.

Expand into the moment

So when (supposedly) negative things happen to me these days, I resist the temptation

to get tight, I drop deeper into the feeling of the moment within my body and expand into

it.

Often a wry smile arises spontaneously from within Okay, so what spanner in the works

has the universe sent me this time? What am I supposed to get, what can I learn?

I let go of any perceived need for an outcome and instead look for the deeper meaning.

I dont resist the flow, the natural organising energy of the moment.

Instead I work with exactly what is happening, using ever increasing awareness to intuit

the new lessons, the new possibilities: I just lost a really expensive pair of headphones

I immediately know Im supposed to tune into my higher dimensional team more (I have

to say I was a bit pissed though!).

Always but always it works an answer follows.

It may challenge us yes, but then we wouldnt develop without the challenge if these

situations didnt feel very real (like being financially challenged for example), then

we wouldnt have the motivation to change.

And Ive learned to trust at the very deepest levels.

I have an idea of what Im here to do.

Even if whats currently happening doesnt at first appear to be taking me in that direction,

I realise that the thousand mile journey would not be completed without each step, without

every twist and turn.

Ever deeper into presence

Ive realised that the one true thing that can solve all our problems, unwind all our

knots and balance all our equations is increasing presence.

The moment purposefully reveals your blind-spots where you identify, where you might get

owned by the illusion.

So I look for those places and drop deeper into them:

Dear friends our discomfort is a priceless gift!

Society so often wants to take it away, pop the pill, desensitise ourselves,

but the pain is our passage to freedom and evolutionary growth.

Whenever you hit the blind spot and tighten down

its exactly this situation which provides a priceless

opportunity to evolve and grow.

So dont fear it and push it away, instead embrace it, see it as part of the

path, then reclaim the priceless empowering gift

that it is concealed within the step.

When I do this, the flood gates burst wide open, unity consciousness flows like a torrent

through the previous constriction.

The path flows again.

In fact I realise I wouldnt have known this expansiveness and awesome freedom of

the flow if I hadnt first known the constriction blocking it.

Do feel free to share your own challenges and approach to overcoming them below.

Youll be amazed just how much it can bring things into light.

A FORMER GOLDMAN SACHS PARTNER & GEORGE SOROS EMPLOYEE IS NOW OFFICIALLY THE U S TREASURY SECRETARY - Duration: 8:14.

A

FORMER GOLDMAN SACHS PARTNER & GEORGE SOROS EMPLOYEE IS NOW OFFICIALLY THE U.S. TREASURY

SECRETARY

by KALEE BROWN

We're creating a positive news network.

We need your help.

Donate President Donald Trumps cabinet picks have

stirred up some controversy in the U.S., and his latest selection is no exception.

The Senate just confirmed Steven Mnuchin as U.S. Treasury Secretary after voting 53-47,

suggesting that Trump may not be as anti-establishment as he would like us to believe.

A highly experienced business associate, and chairman and CEO of the hedge fund Dune Capital,

Mnuchin may seem like a suitable fit to those who dont see the bigger picture.

Mnuchin spent 17 years working at Goldman Sachs, where he eventually made partner and

created a fortune of $46 million.

Mnuchin also worked at Soros Fund Management, whose founder, George Soros, is a key member

of the shadow government disguised as a philanthropic billionaire.

What makes Trumps decision even more bizarre is that, according to electoral commission

records, Mnuchin has donated multiple times to the Democratic party, including to Trumps

former opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Why would Trump select someone who clearly has ties to the elite, hedge funds, and Goldman

Sachs, all of which he claims to oppose?

Why Steven Mnuchin Is a Strange Choice for Trump

After graduating from Yale University, Steven Mnuchin began his business career at Salomon

Brothers in the early 1980s and then started working for Goldman Sachs in 1985.

Prior to the election, Trump had criticized his Republican competitor Ted Cruz for his

connections to Wall Street and because his wife had worked for Goldman Sachs.

Trump went so far as to call out both Cruz and Hillary Clinton for their connections

to Wall Street in one debate, stating that the guys at Goldman Sachs have total control

over them.

And he wasnt lying; Hillary was scrutinized for her paid speeches to Goldman Sachs, which

you can read about here.

Interestingly enough, Hillary considered a high-ranking Goldman Sachs banker, Gary Gensler,

for the position of Treasury Secretary, the same position Trump selected Mnuchin for.

This leads one to wonder if there is a link between Goldman Sachs and this White House

position.

It would certainly make sense, especially because Mnuchin is only one of at least six

of Trumps top advisers and Cabinet nominees tied to Goldman Sachs.

Plus, the firm has had ties to the White House in the past.

However, Mnuchin no longer works for Goldman Sachs; he eventually left to work for SFM

Capital Management, a firm backed by billionaire George Soros.

Mnuchin then went on to work directly for George Soros at Soros Fund Management (source).

Soros is well-known for making strategic political donations to essentially fund revolutions

and then profit on the chaos.

He also made a killing off European forced migration and other colour revolutions around

the world.

Given that Trump is a self-proclaimed advocate for anti-establishment, its surprising

that he would appoint someone with close relations to the elite and the DNC.

Soros also uses his company Open Society Foundations to funnel money into Media Matters, which

directly contributes to mainstream media outlets such as NBC and the New York Times (source).

Trump has called out mainstream news outlets numerous times for spreading fake news,

making his appointment of Mnuchin even more perplexing.

Soros is heavily tied to the Black Lives Matter movement and is even linked to the Womens

March, both of which are heavy anti-Trump political movements.

Although these events may seem well-intended, they are tricking people into thinking theyre

fighting for equality.

Many of these movements are created by members of the elite like Soros so they can make a

profit by distracting us and creating conflict.

To read more about the elites involvement in these events, specifically Soros, you

can read our article here.

Soros heavily funded Hillary Clintons campaign, and even Mnuchin donated to her campaign.

Mnuchin himself has supported the Democrats for a long time, as he donated to Obamas

campaign years prior.

Even though Mnuchin may have never been close with Soros, it seems strange that Trump would

select him for this position knowing their shared past.

Mnuchin has since stopped working for Soros and now runs the hedge fund Dune Capital.

Although their current relationship is unknown, Dune Capital has apparently received hundreds

of millions of dollars from Soros.

This represents another interesting piece of the puzzle, as Trump has publicly criticized

hedge fund managers, like Mnuchin, on many occassions.

Trump has said that hedge fund managers were getting away with murder, which is why

he wanted to put an end to the carried interest loophole giving private equity and hedge fund

managers preferential tax treatment.

The hedge fund guys didnt build this country, Trump said at the time on CBS

Face the Nation.

These are guys that shift paper around and they get lucky, he said.

They are energetic.

They are very smart.

But a lot of them they are paper-pushers.

They make a fortune.

They pay no tax.

Its ridiculous.

To many Republican businessmen, this may not seem like a strange move given Mnuchins

extensive background in finance; however, he has faced a lot of public scrutiny lately.

Mnuchin became well-known for purchasing his bank, OneWest, because of the public criticism

he faced.

OneWest was considered a foreclosure machine under Mnuchins leadership, as the bank

foreclosed on 36,000 families and trapped numerous elderly residents in reverse mortgages.

The bank was also scrutinized for racially discriminatory lending practices.

How Does This Reflect Trumps Agenda?

Weve seen Trump call out mainstream news and even the White House, so there is still

a potential that he cannot be boughten, as hed say.

However, the fact of the matter is, we have no idea if he has ties to the elite.

He also thrives off spreading the illusion of separatism, gaining public support by encouraging

racism and sexism, but the most interesting part of all of this is societys reactions.

Theres been significant societal uproar regarding his actions and words as President,

and rightly so; however, none of this behaviour is necessarily new from the U.S. government.

Trump may be one of the few Presidents to outright discuss his views and beliefs, but

the White House has always had them deeply engrained within its value system.

The U.S. government has murdered innocent civilians all over the world through war and

terror, and even murdered their own using false-flag terrorism.

The U.S. government and the elite have thrived off separatism for a very long time; they

have simply done a better job at concealing it than Trump has.

I genuinely believe that Trumps presidency has the potential to inspire more people to

wake up than ever before.

His actions seem to be more transparent than many of the former U.S. presidents, and theyre

radical enough to shock people into truly wanting to make a difference.

I think the bigger concern here is whether or not Trump is challenging the establishment

and the elite or if hes actually working with them.

This begs the question: Will the public see past the illusory authority of the President

to see whos truly in power, or will they keep fighting one man, further perpetuating

this flawed political system?

Ukraine Will Suffer From Rolling Blackouts Because of Stupidity of Authorities - Duration: 1:13.

Meanwhile, starting this week, Ukraine is living in the conditions of

an officially declared state of emergency in the energy sector.

President Poroshenko has signed a decree "On Measures to Combat the Energy Crisis".

There is no coal.

If the country doesn't find any, important industrial plants will stop in the coming weeks.

Prime Minister Groisman warned of oncoming rolling blackouts.

The situation is stupid because it is a man-made crisis.

Recently, Nazis posing as phrenic patriots, dismantled and blew up the railroad tracks

leading to the west of the country from the Donbass mines.

They called it a blockade.

Everywhere in the world, dismantling of a railway would be equated to a terrorist attack.

In Ukraine, people who did it are known, but thou shalt not touch them.

They put themselves above the law and above the needs of the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians.

The US, EU, G7, and Russia

officially asked Poroshenko to unblock trade with Donbass

and start direct negotiations, but he is adamant.

People in Ukraine are simply tired of all this.

Defense Secretary Mattis pivots from Trump's remarks to seize Iraqi oil during unannounced visit... - Duration: 4:16.

BAGHDAD — U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Monday the United States does not intend to seize Iraqi oil, shifting away from an idea proposed by President Donald Trump that has rattled Iraq's leaders.

Mattis' arrived on an unannounced visit in Iraq as the battle to oust Islamic State militants from western Mosul moved into its second day, and as the Pentagon considers ways to accelerate the campaign against IS in Iraq and Syria.

Those efforts could be complicated by Trump's oil threat and his inclusion of Iraq in the administration's travel ban — twin blows that have roiled the nation and spurred local lawmakers to pressure Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to reduce cooperation with Washington.

"I think all of us here in this room, all of us in America have generally paid for our gas and oil all along, and I'm sure that we will continue to do that in the future," Mattis told reporters traveling with him. "We're not in Iraq to seize anybody's oil."

His comments may provide some reassurance to the Iraqis. But the tensions come at a critical point in the war against IS, with two key battles in the works: the fight to take control of west Mosul, and the start of a campaign in Syria to oust IS from Raqqa, the capital of its self-declared caliphate.

Al-Abadi has taken a measured approach, but the issues can roil already difficult internal politics.

Under the president's deadline, Mattis has just a week to send Trump a strategy to accelerate the fight and defeat the Islamic State group. And any plan is likely to depend on U.S. and coalition troops working with and through the local forces in both countries.

"We're going to make certain that we've got good situational awareness of what we face as we work together and fight alongside each other," Mattis said.

A member of the Iraqi federal police carries an Iraqi flag during a battle against the Islamic State.

(Bram Janssen/AP)

His key goal during the visit is to speak about the military operations with political leaders and commanders on the ground, including his top commander in Iraq, Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend.

Asked about the tensions, Mattis said he has been assured that the travel ban — it has been stalled by a legal challenge — would not affect Iraqis who have fought alongside U.S. forces.

The oil issue, however, may be more difficult. Trump brought it up during the campaign, and he mentioned it again late last month during a visit to the CIA.

"To the victor belong the spoils," Trump told members of the intelligence community. He said he first argued this case for "economic reasons," but added it made sense as a counterterrorism approach to defeating IS "because that's where they made their money in the first place."

"So we should have kept the oil," he said. "But, OK, maybe you'll have another chance."

Trump, however, has also been clear that defeating IS is a top priority. In his inauguration address, he pledged to eradicate radical Islamic terrorism "completely from the face of the Earth." And he talked during the campaign about greatly increasing the number of U.S. troops in order to "knock out" IS.

He signed an order Jan. 28 that gives Mattis and senior military leaders 30 days to come up with a new plan to beef up the fight.

Mattis would not discuss specifics, saying he wants to gather information first. But he has been talking with military leaders about the possible options, and has largely supported the U.S. strategy of fighting IS with and through local forces.

The military options range from putting more troops in Iraq and Syria to boosting military aid to Kurdish fighters backed by the U.S.-led coalition.

More specifically, officials have talked about expanding efforts to train, advise and enable local Iraqi and Syrian forces, increasing intelligence and surveillance, and allowing U.S. troops to move forward more frequently with Iraqi soldiers nearer the front lines.

The Pentagon also would like more freedom to make daily decisions about how it fights the enemy. Former and current U.S. officials discussed the likely options on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to talk publicly.

In Syria, a possible option would be sending more U.S. forces, including combat troops, there as the Raqqa fight heats up.

Another move would be to provide heavy weapons and vehicles to the U.S.-backed Syrian Kurds, known as the YPG, and boost training. They have been the most effective force against IS in northern and eastern Syria, but the proposal is sensitive. Turkey, a key U.S.

and NATO ally, considers the group a terrorist organization.

There are more than 5,100 U.S. forces in Iraq, and up to about 500 in Syria.

Also on Monday, a U.S. service member was reportedly killed in a non-combat related incident in Ramadi, about 60 miles west of Baghdad.
