Height - Duration: 4:29.

In this day and age it seems to be a competition

Like, if you're taller then the next person, you win? somehow?

i don't know.

Personally, i have caught myself doing this sometimes.

Comparing my height to the opposite person.

And idk why exactly, i think it has something to do when i was little.

And..when i mean little, i MEAN little

around the ages of 3-4

I was the smallest in my family, and when my siblings and other family members were my age.

They weren't as small as i was.

there were some perks to being small, don't get me wrong.

i was the champ at hide & seek

not to mention, considering i had little legs; my older siblings (usually my brother)

would have to give me piggy back rides, and rides on his shoulders.

But even though being small was awesome, i still wanted to be tall

I never understood why i couldn't be as big, as my other siblings

{Keep in mind there is a huge age difference between us}

{well... me and my sister and them}

so OF COURSE

It was normal that they would be bigger then me.

I would watch on t.v. on how to grow big and strong...and

the one thing that got stuck in my head was..

IF YOU DRINK YOUR MILK, YOU WILL HAVE STRONG BONES THAT WILL HELP YOU GROW BIG AND STRONG!

-w- yes!

I was hooked on this craz!

i would drink milk like it was almost water, and even though i thought it was enough...it wasn't

and..i was still small

one day we went to go visit my grandparents

and my grandpa had a HUGE backyard filled with fields, vegetables

and bushes ...and

just vegtables and fruits overall

so when we came to visit the older kids would help weed & harvest if need be

and considering i was too small to do any of that, i would have to do..

this is what my grandmother would call them

they were just little chores, like sweeping and doing other stuff like fill the bird feeder.

well, my grandpa would help me with the bird feeder

and when we finished i asked him..

"why can't i be as big as the other kids?"

and he looked at me "hmm, well do you eat your greens? that might have something to do with it"

and then it hit me

"this was the cause of all my problems"

so from that day forward i would eat my veggies and drink my milk and now i'm..

5ft 8 (172.72 cm)

or 5ft9 idk exactly i have to check

ok ok, i know it's not that tall to some people

but it's all about perspective

such as how i'm taller then all of my sisters

and now i can reach stuff on high shelves and lift heavy objects

..well the last one is cause i lift weights but- it feels pretty great!

ok i'm not going to lie there are some things that aren't good about being tall..like..

shoes

oh yeah, no one EVER tells you that when you grow tall your feet grow as well

and hitting your head on stuff!

not to mention your muscles and bones hurting for no reason

and other stuff like that

but i'm not one to complain

my dream was to be tall, and i made it to the point in my life were i made it to the height that i'm happy w/

true there are some people that don't like being, short or tall

but you need to look on the bright side of things

(short person)you don't have to deal with cramped areas

(tall person)and you can stand where ever you want to in a crowd and always have the best spot

height is not something you can compare, or win or lose at

it's a biological trate in our DNA that sometimes we have no control over

BUUUUUT, IF YOU WANT TO GROW TALL REMEMBER! TO EAT YOUR VEGGIES AND DRINK YOUR MILK!

(Fullmetal Alchemist)

dna...parents height?

also my dad was like 6ft hunched over

that might explain something..

yet..my mom is half a foot shorter then me..

so..in this case an equilibrium?

so ye height!

(ukulele song: hanging tree)

WAIT a second

..if foot size has to deal with height

then why are my feet bigger then my brother's..and he's 6ft3?

..unless..

i am a hobbit!

Video showing alleged attack on Kim Jong-nam posted to YouTube - Duration: 2:51.

We begin with the latest on the murder of Kim Jong-nam, North Korean leader's half brother.

A video appearing to show the moment of the attack has been posted online.

Malayisan police have also confirmed that four North Korean men linked to the case fled

Malaysia on the day of the murder, and according to local reports... all four arrived in Pyongyang

last Friday.

Here's our Oh Jung-hee.

A five-minute-long leaked video clip that appears to show the moments leading up to

Kim Jong-nam's death has been posted to YouTube.

The video shows Kim Jong-nam entering a departure gate at Kuala Lampur International Airport,...

as two women approach him from behind.

One puts her hands around his neck... and the two disappear within seconds.

The women in the clip are the two under arrest now -- a woman holding a Vietnamese passport

identified as Doan Thi Huong,... and an Indonesian woman named Siti Aisyah.

They've claimed that they didn't know this was for a murder... and were just doing what

they were told to do.

On Sunday, the Malaysian police held their first news conference since Kim Jong-nam's

death.

They confirmed that four other North Korean suspects left Malaysia on the day of the apparent

murder, but did not reveal which countries they had gone to.

The police said that none of the four was carrying a diplomatic passport.

"I can confirm today that they have left our country on the very same day the incident

happened."

The four have been identified as North Koreans between the ages of 33 and 57 -- Ri Ji-hyon

, Hong Song-hac , O Jong-gil and Ri Jae-nam .

Malaysian media reported that all four suspects arrived in Pyongyang on Friday... via three

different countries.

The Malaysian daily Star reported on Monday... that all four left for Jakarta, Indonesia,

immediately after the incident,... while Chinese media out Zhongguobao reported that they left

for Surabaya, Indonesia, three hours later.

Each of the four then reportedly had layovers in Dubai and Vladivostok.

The reports said the suspects deliberately chose a route that's over three times the

distance to Pyongyang... to avoid being tracked down or caught by police.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian foreign ministry summoned North Korean ambassador Kang Chol

on Monday.

Kang gave an interview on Friday night, in which he accused the Malaysian government

of forcing an autopsy on Kim Jong-nam... even though he's under North Korea's consular protection.

In response, the Malaysian foreign ministry said Kang's accusation is baseless... and

that it takes the attempt "to tarnish its reputation" very seriously.

Kang had gone to the hospital in Kuala Lumpur two times earlier in the day to request that

Kim Jong-nam's body be released,... but his request was refused both times.

Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News.

How to trust someone - #GappiyaThinking (Epi-22) - Duration: 1:44.

We meet all sorts of people everyday.

How we know which ones to trust.

People who do as they say can be trusted.

Even if it's a tiny job if they keep their promise, that means that means we can trust them with big things.

Trustworthy people have self control.

Imagine your friend got no control over his/her words.

You might want to think twice before you tell this person something important.

It's hard to trust people with no self control.

Trustworthy people can usually commit for others.

Imagine you have a friend you really like...but this person never does anything for you.

It's hard to trust someone like this.

If someone is in doubt with everybody and everything...

People like these are paranoid about everything and mentally unstable.

It's hard to trust people like this.

Finally, remember trust works both ways.

If you really want someone's trust back, you should trust them in the first place.

If someone is really trusting you naturally you start trusting them.

You don't feel like you should be breaking the trust you built. The other party will feel exactly the same.

Comment your thoughts below.

Ryan Strome leads Islanders in 6-4 win over Devils - Duration: 3:44.

Ryan Strome helped the New York Islanders quickly bounce back from a disappointing loss at New Jersey the previous night to get a big home win against the Devils.

Strome had two goals and an assist to lead the Islanders to a 6-4 victory over the Devils on Sunday night in a chippy game that featured hard hits and a lot of pushing and shoving after whistles.

New Jersey won 3-2 at home on Saturday night in the opener of the home-and-home set, the teams' first two meetings of the season.

"I felt we probably played better yesterday, but so did they," New York interim coach Doug Weight said. "We had some big plays at the right times. ... It was physical, it was hard hockey.

There'll be ice bags after that weekend.

Coming out of yesterday, it was a big win."

John Tavares, Andrew Ladd, Casey Cizikas and Jason Chimera also scored to help the Islanders improve to 9-0-2 in their last 11 at home. Jean-Francois Berube stopped 26 shots as New York pulled one point out of a playoff spot — into a tie with Florida behind Toronto, which sits in the second wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.

Just a month ago, the Islanders were mired in last place in the conference.

"We still had confidence that we had a pretty good team in here that could do some damage," said Ladd, has four goals over the last three games. "It took a lot of hard work to get back to where we're at, but we're still fighting for our lives. It keeps going on and we've got to keep finding ways to win."

The Islanders, tied with Carolina and Dallas for the fewest road wins at 7-13-4, now play nine straight road games over a 19-day stretch due to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and Atlantic Coast Conference men's college basketball tournament at Barclays Center.

"Hopefully we can get on the road and get together as a team and start to be that good road team that we can be," Weight said.

Taylor Hall had a goal and two assists, Kyle Palmieri added a goal and an assist, and Miles Wood and Joseph Blandisi also scored for the Devils, and Keith Kinkaid finished with 26 saves. New Jersey had won six straight on the road and were 8-0-1 in their last nine away from Prudential Center.

"We did a good job coming back," Devils coach John Hynes said. "I thought tonight we played very well at times — the way we played, the way we competed."

After the Devils scored twice 4 1/2 minutes apart in the second period to trim a 4-1 deficit to one, Tavares and Chimera scored twice 34 seconds apart in the opening minute of the third to help the Islanders pull away again.

Tavares converted a feed from Strome from the right circle on a power play for his 21st at 26 seconds to push New York's lead to 5-3. Chimera then scored on a breakaway for his 15th at the 1-minute mark.

"It was a gritty effort," Strome said. "A lot guys stepped up and did good things."

Hall scored from the left circle on a power play for his 14th at 8:37 to pull the Devils to 6-4.

Cizikas put the Islanders ahead 2-1 at 2:44 of the second as he brought the puck around the back of the net with the Devils' Jon Merrill defending him, and backhanded the puck from the left side between Kinkaid's skates for his seventh.

Strome scored at 9:32 for his 11th of the season and his second career two-goal game. Ladd made it 4-1 with a short-handed goal as he beat Kinkaid low to his blocker side for his 16th with 8:01 left.

Palmieri took a pass from Travis Zajac in the left circle, spun and fired the puck past Berube for his 16th with 6:39 to go in the middle period.

Steven Santini's slap shot from the right circle deflected up off Blandisi and over Berube, who tried to dive back to stop it, with 2:05 left to make it 4-3.

Wood gave the Devils a 1-0 lead at 9:15 of the first period. Strome tied it with about 5 1/2 minutes left on a rebound with Dennis Seidenberg getting his 199th career assist on the play.

President Trump screens candidates for national security adviser during weekend stop at his Flori... - Duration: 1:20.

President Trump brought more contenders for national security adviser to his Palm Beach club for in-person interviews Sunday, hoping to fill the job in the coming days as he seeks to refocus his young administration.

Trump also drilled down on policy during his working weekend at Mar-a-Lago, attending a strategy session on how to repeal and replace Obamacare, with top aides, including Health Secretary Tom Price and Mick Mulvaney, director of the White House budget office.

After weeks of tumult in Washington, Trump returned to Florida and his private club and golfed for a third straight weekend.

High on Trump's to-do list is finding a replacement for ousted Michael Flynn as national security adviser.

While at the Mar-a-Lago resort, Trump also met with top aides to discuss how to repeal and replace Obamacare.

(Lynne Sladky/AP)

Scheduled to discuss the job with the president at Mar-a-Lago were his acting adviser, retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg; John Bolton, a former ambassador to the United Nations; Army Lt. Gen. H.R.

McMaster, and the superintendent of the U.S.

Military Academy at West Point, Lt. Gen. Robert Caslen.

Trump pushed out Flynn last Monday after revelations that Flynn misled Vice President Pence about discussing sanctions with a Russian diplomat during the presidential transition.
