Youtube daily report w Feb 21 2017

The seven selfie-shooting teens who plunged through the ice of a Central Park lake screamed, splashed and fought desperately to escape the frigid waters.

"Help!" one of the sinking youths clearly shouts in a dramatic video clip aired exclusively Tuesday by WNBC-TV.

The brief video captures the panicked teens trying frantically and unsuccessfully to free themselves from the chilly pond.

Seven teens fell through ice in Central Park on Monday. Rescuers were able to grab them from the frigid waters.

(James Keivom/New York Daily News)

At least three rescuers came to their aid Monday afternoon near Fifth Ave. and 59th St., with the good Samaritans and the teens all making it out of the water alive.

The septet, all ages 15 or 16, apparently wandered out on the ice to snap a photo — only to discover the ice wasn't thick enough to maintain that much weight.

Police and park visitors gather after the teens were rescued from the lake.

(James Keivom/New York Daily News)

Witnesses said they were talking pictures and jumping around just before the ice cracked beneath their feet, leaving the youths scrambling for their lives.

Authorities said all seven victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of hypothermia after they were rescued around 6 p.m.

One of the teens is taken away in a stretcher after the fall.

(James Keivom/New York Daily News)

A pair of male models were among the rescuers who plucked the boys from the icy lake.

Desaparecimento e luta - Duration: 8:17.

On September 4th, 1990, a clandestine mass grave was uncovered in the Dom Bosco cemetery in Perus,

in the outskirts of São Paulo. 1,049 skeletons were removed from the site.

For twenty seven years families have been searching for answers from the State

in an attempt to identify their missing loved ones,

people whose bones might be part of the skeletons uncovered in the mass grave in Perus.

As for the chances of identifying the missing persons who underwent political disappearances,

we are doing all we possibly can scientifically.

DISAPPEARANCE AND STRUGGLE

1990 - Identification work begins at Unicamp's Department of Legal Medicine

1998 - Evidence of poor bone conservation, the analysis of which had been interrupted in 1994

2002 - Skeletal remains are transferred to the Araçá cemetery in São Paulo. The work conducted by USP (University of São Paulo) ceases four years later

2013 - Diagnostic made by the Argentine Anthropology Forensics Team (EAAF) and depredation of columbariums,

which held skeletal remains leads to pressure to resume identification work.

2014 - UNIFESP's Forensic Anthropology and Archaeology Center (CAAF) obtains all 1,047 boxes containing skeletal remains. Analysis is taken over by the the Perus Task Force.

In september 2014, The Perus Task Force began its operations

on the analysis of these mortal remains.

This was made possible by the creation of the Federal University of São Paulo's Forensic Anthropology and Archaeology Center (CAAF)

This is unprecedented in Brazil,

the attempt to establish a multidisciplinary task force,

not limiting itself to forensics, to medical forensics,

and bringing with it the shared experiences of two international teams,

which were successful in conducting the identification of political missing persons.

The Argentine Forensic Anthropology team

and the Peruvian Forensic Anthropology team.

These dictatorships,

since the latter half of the 20th Century,

have led to the formation of independent teams from a number of Latin American countries.

So we've been trying to use their approach,

which involves understanding forensic anthropology less as the analysis of skeletons

and more as a work of identification for the families,

and it also involves something fundamental, which is understanding context…

So we create identity hypotheses:

who are the people who might have been in the mass grave?

The sphere of research we've established is comprised of 42 people,

with different degrees of probability.

Some people have a high probability rate of having been buried in the mass grave,

because of the Perus cemetery documentation.

So these are people who were buried in the cemetery and their exhumations have been recorded,

but there is no information as to where exactly it is they were buried.

These people were probably buried in the mass grave.

Human identification, from a forensic point of view,

is the result of a comparison between the antemortem information,

gathered when the individual was alive,

and the postmortem information, gathered after the analysis of their skeletal remains.

Antemortem Research

The antemortem team works with data research concerning political missing persons

at the time of their disappearance.

Examples are their stature, age, physical characteristics

and individual characteristics like bones broken in childhood,

as well as certain dental characteristics,

which might aid in the identification process.

And this involved interviewing relatives,

and resuming contact with them, because since the 90's,

the State hadn't contacted many of these families.

So we've resumed and updated contacts with relatives of these missing persons

and we've tried to establish a more direct dialogue

between the forensics team and these relatives, something that was previously left undone.

Postmortem Analyses

The anthropological analyses begins with the opening of a box

- the experts will then analyze its content.

Prior to this, following the opening of the box,

the experts compile an inventory comprised of the skeletal elements contained in the specific box.

All of is this is recorded and photographed.

Later, this set of bones is sent to different team of experts

for treatment and cleaning,

because these bones were found and exhumed 27 years ago,

so these skeletal remains are many times covered in dirt and other detritus,

and these must be carefully removed

for the preparation of these skeletal remains for anthropological skeletal analysis.

We place the skeletons in anatomic position

atop the analysis workstations for categorization:

detailed inventories of the skeletal remains contained in each workstation.

This analysis is extremely important

because with it, experts will be able to extract necessary information,

for example the individual's age, height, sex

and even traumas which might be associated to the cause of death,

to torture or to accidents.

The last part involves filling in a sheet with all the data retrieved from the postmortem analysis.

We then cross-reference this data with antemortem information

in order to determine what cases are compatible with the people we are looking for.

Genetic Investigation

In order to have all necessary information,

the genetics team work in two different fronts:

one is the collection of biological samples from relatives,

the other is the collection of skeletal samples from the skeletal remains.

If the skeletal sample is genetically compatible with the relative's biological sample,

we make statistical calculations for an eventual identification.

The samples are sent to a lab in Sarajevo, Bosnia, specialized in DNA analyses

for skeletal identification in cases of human rights violations.

By the end of January 2017, the Perus Task Force had collected 74 blood samples

from relatives across 16 different cities.

We are currently searching for 42 political missing persons.

But there are hundreds more in the country,

in Rio de Janeiro, in Rio Grande do Sul, in the Northeast…

And our goal is to expand the work and scientific protocols developed by the Perus Task Force

so they might be used in other cases of forced disappearance,

not only at the time of the dictatorship, but also, unfortunately, in the search for other missing people,

a continuous occurrence in Brazil.

These disappearances, as described by many relatives,

are a continuous form of torture for these families.

The State is to blame for these disappearances

and the State should help these families, dialogue with them

and try to give them answers.

So we try, from a forensic anthropology point of view,

to move against what these disappearances imply:

the vanishing not only of a body but of a memory,

the erasure of a person's existence.

The Managing Committee of the Perus Task Force is formed by UNIFESP,

São Paulo city hall and the Justice and Citizenship Ministry Secretary for Human Rights.

The committee is comprised of a multidisciplinary group of experts

and is aided by the Ministry of Justice's National Public Security Secretary (SENASP), the Federal Police,

the Brazilian Association of Forensic Anthropology

and the Institute of Legal Medicine from numerous Brazilian states

OM SRI SAI RAM

Thought For The Day As Written In Prasanthi Nilayam feb 21, 2017

For the wisdom of the ancient sages to dawn on every individual when they most need it, elders must set an example of discrimination (Viveka) and detachment (Vairagya).

If they run after sensory pleasures with feverish excitement, how can the younger generation be blamed for their selfishness and greed?

Elders must practice what they preach, show how divine life confers joy, mental poise, contentment and real happiness.

They must spend some time every day in reciting the Lord's name or in meditation, then the children too will imbibe that and acquire the means to attain peace for themselves.

People say that there is nothing as sweet as the name of the Lord, but do not repeat it at all.

The road is spoilt by neglect and wanton destruction, but they advise the children to walk along it.

They will discover the hoax.

As a matter of fact, the responsibility of any person who holds forth an ideal is great,

for the person has to attempt to reach it oneself while advising others to adopt it.

Divine Discourse, 14 Dec 1958...BABA.

Waltz of the Flowers. Daffodils. Legends of Narcissus - Duration: 3:34.

Narcissus flower

many times, was praised by poets

all countries and ages.

Mohammad himself said about him:

"Does anyone have two loaves of bread, he let the sell one,

to buy the flower narcissus

because bread is food for the body,

a narcissus-food for the soul".

The Persian King Cyrus nicknamed him

"Creation of beauty - immortal delight."

On the origin of the flower

There is an ancient Greek legend

about the beautiful Narcissus.

From the River God Kefissa

and nymphs Liriojessy

had a son named Narcissus.

One day his parents

turned to Oracle Tireseju.

Soothsayer said that Narcissus

live to old age,

If you do not see your face.

Narcissus grew up young men of great beauty,

and his love labored for many women

but he was indifferent to all.

When he fell in love with the nymph echo,

narcissistic young man rejected

rejected her passion.

The nymph from the hopeless passion attacked

and turned into an echo,

but before his death, said the curse:

"Let not answer Narcissus

reciprocate the one whom he falls in love ".

For this he was punished:

seeing his own reflection in the water,

fell in love with him.

Tormented by unquenched passion,

He died, and in his memory

stayed beautiful, fragrant flower,

Corolla which is down,

as though wanting to again

enjoy yourselves in the water.

For another, no less sad

and beautiful tradition,

Narcissus unexpectedly lost twin sister.

Veering over the Creek in inconsolable grief

He saw his own reflection

features of her beloved sister.

As he dipped a hand into the water,

to embrace the native image

but it was all in vain...

And he died of grief,

leaning over the water.

And the flower arose on the spot

symbolizing

sklonjonnyj image of a beautiful young man.

As a consequence of this narcissus

from the ancient Greeks was the flower of the dead

the flower of the dead, and this logo

It is often the

in Greek mythology.

But in Ancient Rome daffodil

It was a symbol of victory.

The Romans wreath of yellow daffodils

met soldiers - winners,

returning from the war.

In China, from ancient times and still,

daffodil plays an important role

in the New Year ceremony

and is a must

New Year's attribute of every home.

We can balance premium amminition? Look at the T-54!

Very high penetration values on it's HEAT rounds.

Balance the premium ammunition? Are you stupid?

How will the unicum players stad pad without the premium ammunition?

Next suggestion...

Maybe we can improve some maps?

Are you crazy?

Our map developers are busy making 4 new versions of the best map in the game.

Prokhorovka!

You are banned to the World of Warplanes development team!

NOOOOOOO!!!!!

I need better ideas...

perhaps we can balance the artillery class?

They make the game unplayable for many tanks. I suggest we...

No

Maybe we can balance some overpowered premium tanks?

Many players dislike for example the E25...

Perhaps we should do something about the matchmaker?

You are all incompetent!

I know what has to be done to this game!

PREMIUM TANKS!

But comrade...

BLACK PREMIUM TANKS!

But we have already made that?

And the community hated it!

Then let's make them green!

Fatbiking in the snow! - Duration: 1:14.

This is the birth of a new sport in Kouchibouguac National Park.

We are truly excited to bring this new sport to Kouchibouguac...

Fatbiking! Definitely exciting.

We've developed a couple new snowshoe trails and one is just perfect for fatbiking.

So people who want to drop in and try it out, it's a very exciting trail.

Think mountain biking as you're going through the trees, through the forest.

It's loads of fun!

A fatbike is a larger mountain bike with big tires ranging from 3 to 5 inches wide.

a larger frame and you can ride in the snow. It's quite amazing when you try it!

If people have your own equipment, sure come on to Kouchibouguac and hit the trails.

If you don't, we have 15 brand new fatbikes here and they are up for rent

by the hour, half days, full days.

It's a very accessible sport. So I'm just right now dreaming about what Kouchibouguac

is going to look like in a few years with this new sport.

Best Legion Cloth Farm - 700 Shal'dorei Silk /hr (wow gold guide) - Duration: 4:38.

Hey there, guys!

What's going on?

This is Reckles with WTBGold and I had an Aethril guide all set up and ready to go for

y'all but then I ran across this, the best Legion cloth farming spot out there, and honestly

Blizzard knows what they did.

They don't put things in the game like this without the knowledge that we can abuse it

for cloth farming.

So let's go!

Let's do this guide.

Alright, so, what are we doin here?

This quest is called "The Full Might of the Elves" and this whole strategy, this whole

farming spot rests on the fact that you can accept this quest, go do the first half of

this scenario, the engagement, and then you can cancel it, and leave.

Now, I don't want to give too much away on what the quest is actually doing because it's

kind of in spoiler territory, if you haven't finished surumar yet but you cannot do this

if you've already completed the Surumar quest chain.

This quest is not repeatable.

So, it's called the full might of the elves.

We're gonna take that jerk Khadgar - I hate him.

He's a power hungry maniac - you're gonna lead him and three elven tribes into surumar.

You're gonna attack surumar and in this first room there are just a massive amount of these

duskwatch battle-maguses...or maguses...I don't know how to pronounce that.

There's a whole bunch of duskwatch, and you kill em all, and you leave, and you abandon

the quest, and then khadgar reappears and you accept the quest again and you go back

in.

Now, I am on my tank, so I can pull a lot, but then again, I'm on my tank, so I can't

do a whole bunch of damage.

I'm not a dps.

I would recommend avoiding the guys on the side.

But you know, if your class in particular can do a great job of killing the guys on

the side and the guys in the middle, then go for it.

I have a feeling that Balance druids would be amazing here, because you can just sunfire

the middle of the packs and you've got em DoTed, the entire pack would be DoTed and

tagged and you can put a DoT on the guys on the side.

Everything comes to the center and you just starfall and run out.

For me, it took me two minutes to do each lap, if I killed everything.

It only took me one minute if I just killed the guys in kind of the center isle, when

I just rounded everything up.

I got an average of 8 cloth per run regardless really.

I didn't test both methods, but about 8 cloth per run.

That's what you're lookin at.

I am not on my tailor.

My demon hunter, like every other demon hunter out there is a skinner and a leatherworker...ok,

maybe yours is half-engineer too, who knows?

But, cloth scavenging, if you have tailoring will multiply this amount by 50%.

I also got a ton of the shoulder enchant sacks here.

Because those do drop.

Normally with scenarios like this, the enemies you run up against don't drop loot.

Like, it's just a lore situation, but for whatever reason, these drop loot too.

I wouldn't be surprised if this got nerfed pretty quick.

So, if you have a tailor, and you haven't finished the Surumar quest chains, get out

there, go do this.

Take advantage of it before they make these guys stop dropping loot.

But that's it, honestly there's not a lot to talk about here.

You just go in, you go out.

You go in, you go out.

You have some fun, and you kill a bunch of dudes.

Make sure you subscribe for more guides like this.

For more cool spots that I find.

If you know of any cool spots, let me know in the comments.

We can all learn and grow together, and get rich together.

So, subscribe, like, comment, and share this video on reddit.

I know it may sound silly but reddit brings a lot of visibility to youtube videos.

So, I will talk to you later.

Have a great day, guys. :)

It's NOT That Complicated – The Journey To Your Purpose And Passion In Life - Duration: 7:14.

Its NOT That Complicated The Journey To Your Purpose And Passion In Life.

by Aurora Serrano,

The two greatest days of your life is the day you were born and when you finally find

your true purpose why you are here.

Many go through the struggle and often play the victim or walk around feeling lost in

this world.

How do you keep going and whats the purpose of all these; spiritual awakening, to believe,

wish, or dream?

Is the SPRITUAL LIFE , many of us has chosen just a fairytale and will it ever lead

us to some understanding of our life?

Many wants an infectious energy, a thirst for life, be a manifesting master, and a passion

and connection to all that they do.

Providing and being responsible isnt that purposeful enough?

The daily routine and providing comfort and security should be enough?

Its honorable and serves a purpose, but why are so many still unhappy, lost, insecure,

and pessimistic about their life?

I realize being a member in so many Lightworkers , Empath, and Ascension groups I started to

realize so many are lost, confuse, depressed, and desperate to find a purpose or make sense

of their life.

I started to slow down, ponder, and took a step back and I realize that our purpose doesnt

come from our head or our mind.

We cant get there by using logic or our mind.

The problem isnt that we dont know what our life purpose is; the problem is our approach

on the way we were going to obtain or find our purpose.

Our mind is amazing, but you will never achieve your lifes passion and purpose by thinking

you will get there by our thoughts.

The search on finding our purpose begins not with your mind, but it starts with looking

within and seeing with your heart.

Let your heart guide you and lead you to the steps towards what you desire and trust it

to help remove those things in your life that does not serve you or lift you to your highest

good.

Many makes life more complicated than what it truly is by worrying too much, stressing

too often, focusing on the negative and doubting our abilities.

Three simple steps are all you need to align you to your purpose in life.

The formula to finding our purpose is very simple: Passion + Daily Action = Purposeful

Life = Happiness & Success

The vison starts in the heart and not your mind

Your heart is the window to your soul and the light to your path.

It is the best tool to access your true purpose and passion.

Ask yourself what do you love?

What is one thing you would be excited to do every day?

Whats fun, natural, and exciting to you?

Start taking steps to do what you love and what comes natural and freely.

When you feel inspired you lift your energy vibration and you connect to your sources

and happiness, which creates an overflowing wave of inspiration connected to your heart

and soul.

When you see with your heart you create a natural vibe of energy full of joy and motivation.

By doing what you love, you will be inspired and gain insights into what brings the most

joy and guidance.

You are theCo-creator of your life so start moving and let that energy vibe

You cant think your way into finding your life purpose!

You have to lift that energy and create an energy cycle to bring your life purpose to

you.

The action we take creates the clarity and our vision in our life.

So instead of worrying, stressing, or overthinking surrender and believe it will work out.

Do not entertain thoughts the brings your vibe down or create stagnation.

Release the lower vibrational thoughts; should da and could da or the What if..?

Start taking steps toward your goals, fail if you must, so you can be enlightened.

If you worry too much and stop believing all youre doing is creating a deeper lack of

clarity and dragging yourself to the dark.

Stop listening to your ego (pride space) and start seeing with your heart.

This will get you motivated to push that energy to what youre passionate about.

Clarity comes through the process of exploring, action is the result, and the experience is

the reward.

Let go of any expectations

Many of us our lost because we try to live a life created by others or societies normal.

Trying to find you base on others expectation is the reason why so many are feeling like

they are missing something or have any empty void.

Let go of the expectation that there is only one view, one right, one path, one belief,

one way; these limits from fulfilling our greatness and cause stagnation.

Many people I have met in my spiritual journey seem to be the happiest and less stress.

Many have a lot on their plate and some have several different job titles and roles in

their life: life coach, writer, author, speaker, teacher, mentor, healer, and more.

So what were the differences and why are they so happy and fulfilled?

The differences was each thing they did brought them happiness and passion, which created

a purpose to get up and live life every day.

The things that they do in their life created a passionate life and a purpose.

See with your heart and not your mind; embrace the idea that our purpose in life is just

to love fully.

. Surrender and just trust self, believe you got your own back, and just take a leap of

faith and just jump.

Try new things, embrace fear, forgive everything, release all doubts, dont resist the unknown,

and fully engage in what is happening in the here and now.

Lead a purposeful life by following your passions and reap happiness and success.

When we have and live with a passion our life becomes fulfilling and that again creates

a purpose in our life.

That feeling of doubt, confusion, insecurities, and any lower vibrational thoughts goes away.

The doubts, insecurities, and depression in our life comes from living a life without

purpose.

Remember, Life is not that complicated, we choose to make it more complicated,

than what it is.

Find your purpose, by simply putting passion in everything you choose to do in your life

and be present for the journey and fully embrace it.

Just enjoy the journey and trust the universe is abundant and will guide

you to an enriching and fulfilling life.

Family remembers Alabama father and son killed in head-on collision with each other as 'very clos... - Duration: 2:17.

An Alabama father was on his way to work when his truck collided head-on with a car driven by his son, who had been driving home from a party early Saturday morning.

Jeffrey Morris Brasher, a 50-year-old independent bread distributor died instantly, police said. His 22-year-old son, Austin Blaine Brasher, was rushed to the hospital where he died about five hours later.

"You really just cannot imagine it," Pamela Brasher Dennis, Jeffrey's sister, told People Magazine. "There are no words that can be said. Everybody's life changed on Saturday morning.

No one's life will be the same after this."

The tragedy is one on a long list of struggles for the Brasher family. Relatives told People Austin's mother has been battling lung cancer and that his sister only just recovered from a recent car accident of her own.

Father and son, Jeffrey Morris Brasher and Austin Brasher, both died after a colliding with each other in a fatal head-on collision between their two vehicles on Feb. 18 Bankston, Alabama.

(Facebook)

Police said alcohol was a factor in the tragic accident that occurred around 4:10 a.m. Saturday on Fayette County 49, near the town of Winfield. Neither father nor son were wearing seatbelts when the elder Brasher's 2006 Ford pickup crashed into his son's 2004 Chevrolet pickup, AL.com reported.

"Austin did drink and was coming home from a party when they crashed," cousin Monica Marie Aker told the magazine, noting Jeffrey wasn't much of a drinker. "To know that they collided head-on is one of the hardest things to comprehend. Our whole community is just devastated.

Dennis described Jeffrey and Austin as "very close," adding they were often spotted together on the local golf course.

"My worst fear was that Austin would make it through and kill himself because he wouldn't have been able to deal with killing his father," Dennis told People. "It would have destroyed him."

Jeffrey was well-known for his volunteer work and serving as the middle school's football announcer. Austin was quiet, but popular, Dennis said.

She described him as "the life of the party," adding that "he was the little guy driving the big truck."

Dennis remembered her brother as a dedicated father who always made his family the top priority.

"He loved being a husband and father," she said. "We need to hold on tight to our faith. We love Austin and Jeff and our family will never be the same."

I got no time I got no time to live

I got no time to live, and I can't say good bye

And I'm regretting having memories Of my friends who they used to be

Beside me before they left me to die

And I know this is I know this is the truth

Cause I've been staring at my death so many times

These scary monsters roaming in the halls I wish I could just block the doors

And stay in bed until the clock will chime

So my flashlight's on, and stay up 'till dawn I got this headache and my life's on the line

I felt like I won, but I wasn't done The nightmare repeats itself every time

Got to keep my calm, and carry on Stay awake until the sun will shine

But I'm not so strong, and they're not gone They're still out there to take what's left

of mine

I have this urge I have this urge to kill

I have this urge to kill and show that I'm alive

I'm getting sick from these apologies From people with priorities

That their life matters so much more than mine

But I'm stuttering I'm stuttering again

No one will listen and no one will understand Because I'm crying as much as I speak

Cause no one likes me when I shriek Want to go back to when it all began

So my flashlight's on, and stay up 'till dawn I got this headache and my life's on the line

I felt like I won, but I wasn't done The nightmare repeats itself every time

Got to keep my calm, and carry on Stay awake until the sun will shine

But I'm not so strong, and they're not gone They're still out there to take what's left

How to Create Snow in Photoshop with Custom Brushes [Photoshopdesire.com] - Duration: 11:29.

how to create realistic falling snow effect in photoshop

welcome back to photoshopdesire.com youtube channel

In this Photoshop effects tutorial, we'll learn how to create the "snowflake brush" and how to use it.

Using Photoshop, making a custom brush that will randomize snowflakes in different manners such as

such as shape, size, opacity, angle and placement can take a winter themed image to the next level.

Before starting, it is extremely important to pick a photo that will seamlessly and most obviously fit with a winter theme.

I am using Photoshop cc 2017. However, this should work in most versions of Photoshop.

lets start creating custom brush for snow

add a new blank layer

select brush tool and choose a brush from the panel.

click on the Brushes panel toggle icon in the Options Bar at the top of the screen

By default, the Brushes panel opens to the Brush Presets options.

select BRUSH TIP SHAPE

Size slider is the general actual size of the brush.

starting of at 100px, but depending on the resolution of the image, the size of the brush will have to be adjusted.

The lower the resolution, the smaller the brush and a larger brush should be used for larger images.

The roundness setting will affect the shape of the snowflakes.

For it to look most natural, the flake should be more oval than circular.

I find that setting the roundness to somewhere between 50%-70% works.

In general, setting the hardness to 15% when placing snow around the subject works great.

However, when placing flakes on the subject, such as on the hair, the hardness should be harsher, around 75%.

spacing setting will control how close & how packed the snowflakes will be in relation to each other.

Spacing the flakes at 400% gives it a natural look.

now go to "Shape Dynamics" option

Snowflakes in reality are unique, and an image should reflect that. SIZE JITTER setting when set to 100% will randomize the size of the flakes.

keep minimum Diameter 25%

Snow doesn't fall from the sky in a straight line, each flake flutters and makes its way down taking a unique path.

The angle jitter setting will randomize the angle of your brush mirroring the path snowflakes take on their way down.

keep roundness jitter 100%

and minimum roundness at 25%

move on to "SCATTERING" option

Make sure to check BOTH AXES box.

The scatter setting will scatter the cluster of flakes so they don't appear to be falling in a straight line.

Usually, 1000% does the job, however if you find that the clusters are too scattered bringing down this setting can prove to be helpful.

According to the number set on count control, the amount of flakes that appear per click and drag will vary.

Leaving it a lower number will give you better control of snowflake placement

On average, setting the count anywhere from 1-8 is great.

keep count jitter 100%

goto Transfer option.

The opacity of each flake must be unique so that the image will look more realistic.

These settings will randomize the opacity.

Both opacity and flow jitter should be set to 100%

Make sure that all controls are set to "off."

Smoothing helps reduce sharp angles as you drag your mouse or stylus.

now start painting with custom brush on the image

To save you the time, save the custom brush and name it

if it were really snowing, the person would have some collection of snowflakes in hair.

lets add another blank layer to add snow on her hair and dress

When considering the placement of snow in a person's hair, turn down all settings a few notches so the flakes aren't as random.

The actual placement needs to be extremely controlled because the flakes must be positioned in spots where snowflakes would actually rest.

add another blank layer but this time we add medium size snow flakes

The upside of creating a custom brush is that the brush lends itself to fine-tuning according to your exact needs.

Each setting will affect the brush in different ways.

simply paint on gaps to fill with extra snow flakes with different sizes and shapes.

if you want lighter snow then hide the snow on background layer which contains snow flakes that gives effect which are nearer to camera

finally add crisp winter color lookup to photo

change blending to color

And we are done! here is before and after results

To save you the time, I uploaded this 3 custom snow brushes from this tutorial to my official website. You can download it for free

I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial

Gifting and Asset Protection | Surprenant & Beneski, P C | New Bedford MA - Duration: 1:35.

I was told by my CPA that I could give away $10,000 or $14,000 each year to my kids.

Is this true?

How does it work?

That is true.

It's a gift in estate tax rule.

Many people don't realize that the federal government has what's known as an estate tax

when you die.

It's a tax on the value of what you own.

They don't want you to give everything away while you're alive so they can't tax it at

your death, so they impose a gift tax if you give things away.

We are all entitled to a $5,450,000 exemption, so for most people giving away everything

they own will not cause a gift tax, but what the government says is if you give away more

than $14,000 in one year to a particular person, then you must file a gift tax return and the

amount of the gift is deducted off of your $5,450,000 exemption so when you die, you

have less exemption available.

The Classic Bushcraft Knife - Duration: 5:09.

How's it going guys? It's Cody from

Adventure Sworn, and I want to talk to

you real quick about our model

the Classic.

Once again this is our Classic bushcraft knife.

It's based off the Woodlore style bushcraft knife.

It has an overall length of approximately 9 inches (225 mm).

With a cutting edge length of around 4 inches (103 mm).

We have a variety of handle materials to choose from;

this here is ivory paper micarta with a cinnamon red liner.

I don't have an example for this video

but a couple other popular options are

green canvas micarta and arizona desert ironwood.

This sheath here is chestnut, it's my personal sheath so it's seen better days.

This one has a removable dangler and a firesteel loop.

It has a matching firesteel as well.

A good fitting sheath should hold the knife securely,

yet when you need to get it out its not difficult.

The coke-bottle shape has a nice flare on the bottom

which is good for the leuku grip for wrist-flick chopping.

A nice sharp 90 degree spine excels at scraping.

How to Find a Good Doctor - Duration: 14:58.

Hello everyone,

How does one go about finding a primary care physician, also known as a PCP, or a specialist

such as an endocrinologist or a cardiologist?

You could go with recommendations from your primary care physician, friends, or family.

For me, I've learned that my former PCPs would refer me to their friends, who were

NOT positively reviewed by their patients, And friends and family would recommend doctors

who just weren't a fit for me.

In the end, finding doctors who work well with me is a process that requires due diligence,

research, and trial and error.

The first step in the search process is consulting the online Insurance Participating Provider

Directory Some insurance provides this in a physical

book form, however, the online directory may be updated more quickly and has search features

where you can filter by location, languages, and other factors.

Online directories are also updated more quickly and will show newly added doctors and will

remove doctors who have opted not to accept the insurance anymore.

From there I created a list covering doctors

who are In my area or easily accessible through public

transportation If I am very sick, I do not want to travel

far to see my doctor.

Make sure the doctor is affiliated with respectable hospitals

Sadly, even if a doctor looks promising, I steer clear if he or she is associated with

bad hospitals.

This is an extra for my mom, is the doctor or is the doctor's office able to communicate

in other languages?

When searching for a PCP for my mother I needed to find one who could speak with her in her

native tongue.

I cannot always accompany my mother to doctor's appointments. Furthermore, if information

can be given in one's native tongue, there is better understanding between doctor and

patient.

To further filter the list I may go by certification or schooling, however, those are not major

tellers of a good doctor.

I will usually start with doctors closest to my location for convenience.

Then call and confirm with the insurance company that the doctors are still participating providers.

Sometimes the provider directory is outdated.

Next, conduct research.

Read reviews from sites such as: Yelp

Zocdoc WebMD

Healthgrades Vitals

This can further narrow down your list, however, please take these with a grain of salt as

they are not comprehensive.

That is why I listed so many because I have had to jump to different sites to get a better

picture of a doctor, (if he or she was reviewed at all).

And sometimes it is hard for a patient to judge a doctor's competence.

But if there are a lot of bad reviews, it is a good indicator to cross the doctor off

your list.

I have these links in the description.

Through these review sites you can also determine

how long a doctor has been practicing medicine or conducting surgery.

There are pros and cons to this.

A doctor may have many years of experience, but he or she may be set in their ways.

A young doctor may be very new, but he or she may be open to new information.

This is why finding a doctor that is the right fit for you is so important.

I have had very experienced doctors who were good for other patients, but they would brush

off what I have had to say about my experiences with my own health.

Now it's time to contact each doctor's

office to see how receptive they are.

Ask the following questions: Are they accepting new patients?

If they say, 'No,' you can mark them off the list.

Even if the provider directory says that they are, the directory may not have the most up

to date info.

If they are accepting new patients, confirm that they accept your insurance.

I have had instances where the insurance company said that a doctor was a participating provider,

but the doctor's staff denied it.

Or when my PCP would write me a referral to a doctor only to find out that they stopped

being a provider months ago.

Ask for the office hours and location.

Insurance provider directories do not provide office hours.

Doctors may have multiple offices where they work at on different days and times so you

do want this information handy.

Ask how many staff members work in the doctor's office.

If a doctor has limited hours and very few staff members, these could be bad signs.

My last PCP had these issues.

The staff gets overwhelmed with dealing with multiple insurance rules and regulations and

too many patients and the associated work.

They were always tired and angry, and they would take their frustrations out on the patients.

Are walk-ins allowed?

If you are very sick you need to be able to come in without making an appointment.

But it's good to call the office anyway so they can give you an approximate time to

come in to minimize the wait or they can try to squeeze you in between appointments.

The responses and how they are given may be

a good sign of the customer service

Are they curt but professional?

Do they have an attitude and are they practically yelling at you?

Are they friendly and welcoming?

Some people may say, "If the doctor is wonderful, what does the staff matter?"

The receptionist and the other staff members are the traffic controllers of the office.

They are in charge of setting appointments, running in office procedures like EKGs, receiving

and recording your results from testing facilities, informing the doctor of your test results,

getting pre approvals for procedures, and a slew of other tasks.

Poor front desk operators do not run the office smoothly or they hate their jobs.

They can decide to inconvenience you as much as they can and if you complain they can make

things worse.

It becomes more than just a case of bad customer service, they can end up affecting your health

by delaying or preventing medical care that you might need.

For example, this happened to me with my previous PCP.

I needed the results of a blood test so that the doctor could issue me a prescription.

The doctor told me to call back the next week to find out the results.

When I called, the front desk got very angry and told me that they would call me when the

results came in.

I finally received a call a month later.

I asked to speak with the doctor about issuing me my prescription. The staff refused to transfer

my call.

They told me I had to schedule another appointment, but the doctor was completely booked for the

next few weeks.

When it comes to abuse situations, you can

definitely report them.

But I've learned to spot the red flags and I just switch doctors instead of dealing with

a lot problems that could happen down the road.

If you would like to share some doctor office horror stories, feel free to comment below

or message me.

If you all would like I can do a video on those in the future.

Please let me know in the comments below.

After getting all this information you have now narrowed down your list.

If you want to go even further you can also check out if a doctor has had a history of

misconduct and even the 'benefits' they have received from pharmaceutical companies

to hawk their products.

Use the Professional Misconduct & Physician Discipline site to check out a doctor's

background.

I put the link in the description.

I usually do not judge a doctor by one or two lawsuits that could have been filed for

very frivolous reasons.

However, if there is a long list of lawsuits, I would probably stay clear.

I often see drug representatives visiting doctors' offices.

My former PCP also pushed a drug on me for a condition I thought was non-existent.

'Last Week Tonight with John Oliver' did a great segment on this called, "Marketing

to Doctors," which got it all to make sense.

Pharmaceutical companies will give anywhere from a free lunch to money for 'speaking

engagements' for a doctor to promote certain drug products to their patients.

I put the link to this clip in the description, along with the links to ProPublica's Dollars

for Docs site and the government's Open Payments Data site where you can check out

if and how much a doctor has accepted from pharmaceutical companies.

If a doctor is really raking in the bucks from big pharma, I would really consider crossing

him or her off your list.

The final step is trial and error.

When you choose a new PCP, inform your insurance company and ask when the change will be effective.

Double check on that date if the insurance company really did push the change through

before making your first appointment with your new physician.

For a specialist, check with your PCP or with your insurance plan, if you need a referral

before making your first appointment.

After your first visit you can start to make an accurate assessment of whether or not the

physician is a good fit for you.

You also get to see what the front desk is really like.

Also, talk with other patients in the waiting room.

They are usually pretty frank about their experiences.

It is good to have a list of doctors handy because if you find that you and the new physician

don't mesh, you can change and try someone else.

Summary

Years of experience, being board certified, or graduating from a great school could guarantee

a good doctor, but it doesn't necessarily guarantee that the doctor is a fit for you.

In the end, look for a physician that is: Within your insurance plan

Accessible Knowledgeable and caring.

Does he or she: Spend time with you

Provide good communication Show conscientiousness

Have a good front desk Have extended hours

In summary, looking for a good doctor is a very involved process.

We wouldn't buy a car or a house, or apply to colleges without really evaluating all

our options.

Selecting a good physician also takes effort, but the possible benefit would be finding

a great doctor that you trust.

Thanks for watching everyone.

Pooping in Public Bathrooms - Duration: 3:53.

Hello my friends! Kaitlyn here! And have you ever had to poop in a public bathroom?

(INTRO MUSIC)

So I've been in a weird mood lately

Which means you guys are getting some really weird content.

Like most of the time, I'm all mature and professional and giving you advice on mental health.

And sometimes I just wanna talk about poop.

Eh?

So pooping in public is one of my all time least favorite things to do.

We all have to do it.

But there's something IMMENSELY embarrassing to have to do it in a public setting.

For a long time I would allow so much shame to be associated with it and to go to EXTREME

lengths to make sure that NO ONE EVER KNEW THAT I EVER POOPED.

But this is exhausting.

And usually causes constipation and no one wants that either!

So now here I am talking about it on the internet.

Essentially once I started working a 9-5 job, 5 days a week and most of my bowel movements

were inevitably going to happen in my work bathroom, I had to get over myself.

Now don't get me wrong, it can still feel pretty embarrassing, but if someone happens to walk

in and they hear some plops, I've found that it's much better if you just own it.

Like, "Yeah, women!

I poop!

And so do you!

Plopping happens.

So do unexpected farts happen!

It's natural!"

I remember watching an episode of Girl Code on MTV years ago and it was the first time

I ever heard anyone talk about pooping in public and how embarrassing it was.

It opened up my world.

Like "Wait!

Other women are embarrassed by having to poop in public too!

But then why are we embarrassed if we all have to do it?"

It also gave the greatest public pooping advice that I have ever heard which is to put down toilet

paper in the bowl which prevents the plopping sounds and backsplash. Who knew?

Oh and to flush if things are going to get SUPER NOISY for a bit.

But it also addressed the bathroom stalemate.

It's where you're waiting in the bathroom for the other person to leave so you can finish in peace.

But then that other person is waiting for you to leave so then you're both just kind of sitting there like clenching

your cheeks and it's getting more awkward by the minute.

So anyway, I ended up taking that advice and nonchalance about public pooping into my real life.

I remembered it when I was sitting on the toilet at work waiting out another woman or

when I was kicking myself for accidentally letting a fart escape when someone was around.

And I started to think, "Maybe I don't need to be as ashamed by this as I am right now."

"Maybe this is just a part of life.

And the worst that might happen is that someone has a funny story to tell their friend about some

girl in the bathroom who had some INTENSE FARTS that day."

I know I've told stories like that to my parents or boyfriend.

I don't think badly about that person.

It's funny.

I laugh about it.

But not at the person.

It's just a part of life.

So what use is it for me to be ashamed if I happen to be the girl in the story that day?

Nothing! Nobody! It doesn't do any good.

So stop being ashamed about your poops and your toots.

I know it's weird. But ya gotta start somewhere.

Gosh, you know, do guys have the same kind of shame associated with public pooping?

I'm definitely talking from a girl's perspective here because everything my dad and Parker

has ever told me about men's bathrooms is that it's just nothing's held back.

It's just poops and toots galore!

So what do you guys think?

What do you think about public pooping?

Are you embarrassed by it? Or are you like totally cool with it?

Tell me your I'm sure interesting perspective down in the comments.

Plus remember to like, favorite, share, and subscribe if this video made you smile!

This was weird and you're definitely smiling right now.

I'll see you guys on Thursday!

'Star Wars' Han Solo movie releases first cast photo, announces production has begun - Duration: 1:34.

Who's scruffy looking?

Disney released the first cast photo from the upcoming Han Solo "Star Wars" movie Tuesday and announced that production has officially begun.

The initial image from the untitled film's set shows Alden Ehrenreich — who will play Solo — and co-stars including Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson and Emilia Clarke aboard the Millennium Falcon spacecraft.

Also pictured is Solo's loyal Wookie sidekick, Chewbacca, who will be portrayed by Joonas Suotamo. Aside from Chewy, the entire cast is in street clothes, though Ehrenreich is wearing a leather jacket reminiscent of the character's Ford-era duds.

'Star Wars' movie posters through the years

Production for the highly anticipated sci-fi standalone commenced on Feb. 20 at the Pinewood Studios in London, Disney revealed on Tuesday.

The Han Solo movie will serve as the second "Star Wars" movie that isn't part of a trilogy, following up December's smash hit "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story."

"Watching such inspired people from all over the world, with such unique voices, come together for the sole purpose of making art, is nothing short of miraculous," co-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller said in a statement. "We can't think of anything funny to say, because we just feel really moved, and really lucky."

Aiden Ehrenreich (r.) will portray Han Solo, the character made famous by Harrison Ford (left).

The film is currently operating under the working title "Red Cup," which appears to be a cheeky reference to the popular line of plastic products, Solo. As in, Red Solo Cup.

The Han Solo movie blasts into theaters on May 25, 2018.

Comedian Mike Epps arrested after allegedly attacking man at New Orleans casino - Duration: 1:27.

"Next Friday" star Mike Epps was allegedly arrested for a fighting a man at a New Orleans casino.

The 46-year-old actor was involved in a physical altercation at Harrah's Casino in New Orleans early Saturday, according to local police.

A Virginia man - who was in New Orleans for the NBA All-Star game - accused Epps and 52-year-old Brooklyn man Thomas Cobb of striking him and repeatedly hitting him in the face "unprovoked."

The arrest affidavit for the incident gave little detail about the altercation, the New Orleans Advocate reported.

"I had a handful of chips, so I just basically bent down to protect myself, and then my friends ran over and got in front of me, and then security got there," the unidentified man told The Advocate.

"My face is still swollen right now and it was blackened shut," the man said Tuesday.

Epps and Cobbs were released on $1,000 bail and failed to appear in court for an arraignment on Tuesday, according to the Advocate.

A rep for Epps did not immediately respond to a Daily News request for comment.

The Def Comedy Jam alum is best known for his role as Day-Day Jones in "Next Friday" and "Friday After Next," but he's also starred in "The Hangover" and recently on TV as Buck Russell in "Uncle Buck."

Sorry, bleeding hearts, but this cow should be killed and eaten - Duration: 2:17.

Sure, he captured the attention of all New Yorkers. But our columnist said the cow with a beef who went on the lam should retain his status as protein, not hero.

The cow who escaped and fled a slaughterhouse was re-captured. His brief time on the lam doesn't change one fact of life: He's meat.

(Debbie Egan-Chin/New York Daily News)

No disrespect to vegetarians, but let's kill that cow right now, cook it up and eat it, preferably medium rare with a nice pepper sauce.

Of course, I'm talking about the brazen bovine who went on the lam Thursday from Archer Halal Live Poultry, a Queens slaughterhouse.

COW WHO FLED QUEENS SLAUGHTERHOUSE IS SAVED BY ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVIST

I certainly respect this animal's beef with his captors, but his brief escape doesn't change one fact of (his) life: He's meat, he's no sacred cow.

Predictably, the animal rights activists opened up their hearts to this four-stomached beast. One of them even convinced the owner of the slaughterhouse to free the creature so it could live out its days on the Skylands Animal Sanctuary in Jersey.

Mmmm. Not eating this steak won't end animal suffering.

(Rita Maas/Getty Images)

He even gave the cow a name: Freddie. Awww. That's so sweet. Mission accomplished.

COW CAUGHT IN QUEENS AFTER IT'S SPOTTED RUNNING DOWN THE STREET

Now the rest of the nation can get back to what it does best: murdering 35 million cows per year (on top of the 115 million pigs, 9 billion chickens and 270 million turkeys and tens of millions of other animals) for consumption on America's smorgasbord.

Sure, let's save one cow because he was lucky enough to slip out of his cage. But you're deluding yourself if you think this rescue is going to change our national slogan from "Beef: It's what's for dinner" to "Mom, can you pass the kale salad?"

EDITORIAL: DON'T HAVE A COW, OR DO

So until we have the much-needed full-on debate about the environmental, nutritional and agricultural disaster caused by our overconsumption of animal protein, the animal rights activists should do the only short-term good they can: they should buy the cow, have the good people of Archer Halal do their dirty work, and donate the meat to the poor, who deserve a break far more than this one animal.

The larger debate about animal abuse is a lot bigger than this one little cow.
