Youtube daily report Jan 23 2018

The new Mavic Air is a marvel of engineering and design.

An ultraportable device

that stretches the boundaries of what's possible for a drone this size.

To do this,

we had to reimagine the most efficient design possible.

Each and every aspect has been refined and optimized.

From its radical,

foldable design,

down to every line and polished curve.

The result is a powerfully creative tool

in a dramatically reduced form factor.

The Mavic Air has a presence

that oozes style and geometric elegance.

Arms and propellers sit flush against its slender,

aerodynamic frame.

It is the most portable drone

to house a 3-axis mechanical gimbal.

Protected by the chassis,

the newly designed gimbal system is suspended from a set of dampeners

in a three-dimensional formation,

which dramatically reduces vibration for steadier shots.

For greater stability in flight,

we've developed a new dual-hinge design for the arms.

The foldable landing gears are positioned on the tips of the arms.

Hidden inside are omnidirectional antennas

that are purposely placed away from the body

to provide more extensive signal coverage for optimal transmission.

The Mavic Air has seven onboard cameras

that are reinforced by durable,

magnesium alloy brackets,

offering a more robust framework for better performance.

Processing data from this many sensors

allows the Mavic Air to read the environment with a greater attention to detail,

providing better obstacle avoidance

and more accurate real-time positioning.

For a drone this small and this powerful,

heat dissipation needs to be handled efficiently.

Air is drawn in from behind the gimbal

and through the heat sink, with excess heat expelled from vents on the back.

To achieve such an intricate and bold design,

we had to be meticulous about our manufacturing process.

Going to such extremes was the only way to deliver a product

that met our high-quality standards in both form and function.

As an unrivaled piece of engineering,

The Mavic Air is a new milestone in flight performance,

functionality, and design.

An ultraportable smart drone

that is bound to turn people's imaginations into reality.

Copiar y pegado especial transponer datos con varias filas en una sola columna en Excel - MACROS - Duration: 8:43.

hello how about friends welcome to this video and today we are going to solve a

inquietude of our Mr. Alberto Martin and the question is this

I have three rows from a1 to c 3

that cell has in the first row of 1 to 3 in the second row from 4 to 6 in the

last row from 6 to 9 that is in the cell A1 contains the number one and so

successively up to 9 The question is: how can you do with a

macro that the numbers in rows are place in a single column? but before

to begin do not forget to subscribe to your channel learn and teach excel

also click on the bell for that you learn excel week after week

additionally do not forget to share the topics that you would like to learn

or what concerns you want to clarify so let's start. as you can see here

I have an exercise that understands the numbers from 1 to 9 divided by

rows according to the concern of our follower and additionally I have

another exercise that is understood numbers from 1 to 200 in several rows

then our first step is that we are going to insert a button and for that we

we direct to developer, then insert then we will hit here the button

I'm going to change the name by transposing I'm going to say here record and accept

and finally I'm going to developer of having a recording

Now what I'm going to do here is that I do not I'm going to change the name

I'm going to place him transpose and now what what I'm going to do is that I'm going to locate the

button on the top now I'm going to give you right click assign

macro modify and now I'm going to direct to the notebook file which

I have this macro and I'll explain it to you what does each one of the internal

if you're getting this macro do not forget to write us in the comments you

email and so you can send the file and you can use it in the

moment you want Now what I'm going to do is direct myself

to the excel file and then paste

After this, what I'm going to do is close now what we are going to do is that

let's run the macro today to give click on the button and then tell me

select the range to process in this case we are going to select our first

exercise now we press accept and it tells me

select the cell where you are transpose the information

so I want me to stick here from the columns and row b6 goes to

press to accept and how to you can see I have already pasted or

transposed the nine numbers into a single column and now we're going to click again and

today to select the information is the second exercise that are 200

numbers I'm going to press here accept and now he tells me that where do you want to transpose

information? I want it to be part of cell N2 and pressed to accept and

as you can see here I already have transposed the 200 numbers into one

column and this way you can use this macro

to transpose the number of numbers that you wish, I will explain to you

consists the macro I will give you right click to assign macro modify

so now what I'm going to do is that I'm going to erase this information

and I'm going to show you step by step what which makes each interline pressing f8

then how can you see the Start

let's name integer variables type text and also type range

Now this first interline is for execute the box that I just appear

and here as you can see we are going to select information

Now we press to accept is very important that you see here that

this guy 8 what does this mean? for this one

activate a text box there are different types, type 8 does

reference to the information that let's introduce is a range and how

you can see in the image there are different types and according to the

need place the number. Now here what

let's say is that if rank is equal Nothing that means empty or nothing then

do not keep running the macro and now

start row is equal to two because rank.Row refers to the

first row of the range means that it's that

then limit row is equal to 4 and this would be the interline now the column limit

would be one that is A then limit column is equal to 3 which would be the C

now here we are going to make a formula in the cell to AZ1 that we're going to

use is a conversion of the column numbers by letters and

now as you can see I'm going to locate

In cell AZ 1 and this is the function that we perform and how is the

number one brings me as a result the letter A Now we are going to do the same for the

column limit letter now let's insert again our

text box and we will select already the cell where we want to paste

we press f8 and here we are going to name the variable that the row is equal to the

row 6 where are we going to start next the column is 2

let's do the same thing let's change the 2 by the letter in this case will be B

what is this that you already see here and now let's start running a cycle with

For then how can you see the start

the row is 2 to 4 which is this and that increase me to one unit now

So here what we are going to do is that I select the first row as

you can see and I stuck it to from the letter B6 and already as you

can see me hit it and now we're going to do the increase already so that when

let's stick and transpose again of nine and already he is going to repeat me the

cycle until it's finished and now it's close the macro

Well I hope you liked this video they have learned and a new

way of transposing data in Excel to through macros do not forget to

subscribe also like to the video and remember

that the best way to learn is teach and until next one

Cement Planter DIY with a Plastic Bag and Old Cloth - Duration: 3:55.

Hi guys from the Channel "Made by hand"!

Today's video is yet another cement planter

this is very different

made with plastic bag and old cloth

and if you already liked this idea LIKE this video to help us

and let's go to the tutorial

well. start sticking the pot I'm going to use inside the bag

which is what will be the inner part of the vessel

I spend this burnt oil. but it can be cooking oil to make it easy to remove later.

For the vase to get a little rounded. I had to tie a knot in the bag

and now I'm putting the dough in the bottom

made with one part of cement and two of coarse sand.

I'm putting dough in the bottom of the pot

approximately 1.5 cm to 2 cm

then I fill the sides with that same mass

Good now. I'll need a hand.

to tie a drawstring on the top of the bag

and if this bag is too thin you can use one inside the other

the next day I tore two strips of old cloth.

I wet it in a cement and water syrup

then twisted to form a kind of braid

and with the help of a brush I spread the remaining of the syrup around the entire vessel

and now just wait to dry and then waterproof it

as I taught in another video here on the channel

if you have not yet seen you can click on the lin. on card or description of that video

and now it's a sandwhich and our pot is ready for painting

write us what you think

we are very important your comment

because youtube has changed and besides your like. we really need your opinion!

so write there if you found it easy. difficult. give a suggestion

and do not forget to subscribe to the channel

just click on this ball and the button to sign up if

the "Frida Khalo" painting I'll show in our next video

I'll wait for you there

BEYOND THE FRAME | Bonhart, Vilgefortz and Nivellen - Duration: 4:02.

Ah, hello!

Does wet passing fill your dreams?

Are weak, meek openings your waking reveries?

Do you pleasure yourselves at the thought of your 3-3 glorious draws?

So you must think you know all there is to know about the cards.

When to open with a "BANG!"

When to bluff and lose.

When to lead your foe on.

But you do not know what lies beyond.

So I am here to tell you.

To tell you what lies… BEYOND THE FRAME.

This time we examine folk not seen before.

By whom? – you ask.

By those wretches who have partaken little or naught of the world inhabited by witchers.

Today we discuss three powerful men.

[Aside] Tautology or oxymoron? I ask you.

They all hail from a time before the Wild Hunt's descent and thus can be read of in manuscripts most ancient.

The first – Leo Bonhart, a mercenary most vicious. Coin his king, Mammon his god.

One who took pleasure in inflicting brutality, suffering and pain.

He wore three medallions – a cat, a wolf and a griffin – all trophies, all earned, for he killed their previous owners.

He had a run-in with the famed Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon.

How this ended I will not betray in hopes of encouraging you to read the relevant tale.

The second – Vilgefortz of Roggeveen, a member of the Council of Mages, described by the sorceress Yennefer as "young," meaning just under a century old.

Common knowledge paints him as exceptionally talented, tall, handsome, well-built and possessing of a lovely voice.

[Aside] So an all-around knob.

As Bonhart, so Vilgefortz proved a fan of resolutions most cruel.

Witness this scene from the tales of The Witcher. Can you guess the victim?

[Aside] I'll tell you this much – it wasn't Regis-ide…

And lastly – Nivellen, an unfortunate, cursed soul.

He dwelled in a solitary manor, in Redania, in the woods near Murivel.

The local folk scared their children with tales of his monstrous exploits, calling him names like Fanger and Degen.

[Aside] Idiotic…

But as man-beasts go, this was a wealthy one.

So local merchants, in exchange for a portion of his wealth, would lend him their daughters for a year at a time.

Cruel – but not on Nivellen's part, who believed that one of these lasses would prove his true love and break the curse that held him in beastly form.

Pimply, scabbed, horned, with a piggish snout, and a maw worthy of a gravier, he perhaps came closest with a lass named Fenne, who thought him mad and played along.

She would disrobe and pounce upon his back, and they would rush out and scare whoever they encountered.

A tale most joyous… and tragic.

I encourage you to seek it out.

So lay down your cards and run your eyes across some words, for change.

There you have them, Gwenters one and all: three thoroughbred males – make of them what you will.

And join me next time for who knows what.

DJI - Mavic Air - Introducing the Mavic Air - Duration: 3:20.

When people say the sky's the limit,

we ask, why stop there?

This is the relentless spirit and passion of DJI.

And from that,

we have created another glimpse at the future of possible.

This is the Mavic Air,

the newest addition to the DJI family,

and another great leap forward for the industry.

The Mavic Air takes cues from all of DJI's landmark drones of the past

and yields something unique and new in the process.

From the sleek chassis

to the incredible technology inside it,

it's a work of art that produces

works of art.

It is incredibly compact so you can take it everywhere.

It's exceptionally light,

making it nimble in the air without sacrificing stability.

The Mavic Air's powerful camera is housed inside a compact,

3-axis gimbal system

and is the only drone of its size to have one.

Capture slow-motion in full HD at 120 frames per second,

and take still photos at 12 megapixels with low latency.

The new and improved Panorama mode

captures stunning 360° photos at push of a button.

The Mavic Air's optimal flight performance means more time in the air

to get all those incredible shots.

With 21 minutes of total flight time,

4 km of transmission distance,

and a max speed of 19 m/s,

you can go farther, faster.

The Mavic Air's striking industrial design is the perfect union of form and function.

And even with its compact size,

Mavic Air remains stable in unfavorably windy conditions

and at higher land elevations,

something that was once only possible with larger,

more expensive drones.

The Mavic Air is easier than ever to fly.

The new APAS system allows the Mavic Air to detect obstructions in real time

and fly around them without stopping.

Multiple environment-sensing cameras ensure the safety of Mavic Air while flying.

With front and back obstacle avoidance sensors,

the Mavic Air sees more obstructions faster.

ActiveTrack now allows multiple object detection,

which means more flexibility for object tracking.

QuickShot modes like Asteroid and Boomerang

get you professional camera moves automatically.

The controller is as sleek and compact as the Mavic Air itself.

Removable sticks stow right inside for an ultra-low profile.

Proclaim your individuality

with multiple color options and a full suite of accessories.

Mavic Air redefines powers and portability

in a way that only DJI can make possible.

and with the Mavic Air in your hands,

it will feel like anything is possible.

I know I have the best of time and space,

and was never measured and never will be measured.

I tramp a perpetual journey.

Come. Listen, all.

My signs are a rainproof coat,

good shoes,

and a staff cut from the woods,

My left hand hooking you 'round the waist,

My right hand pointing to landscapes of continents and the public road.

Perhaps you have been on it since you were born and did not know.

Perhaps it is everywhere, on water and on land.

This day before dawn I ascended a hill

and looked at the crowded heaven.

And I said to my spirit,

When we become the enfolders of those orbs,

and the pleasure and knowledge of everything in them,

shall we be filled and satisfied then?

Not I, not any one else can travel that road for you,

You must travel it for yourself.

Should I Wear Makeup in My Videos? - Duration: 1:50.

- To makeup or not to makeup,

I get asked this question all the time.

I talk about all things business cinema,

which is video with a plan, a purpose,

a system, and a strategy.

So if you wanna learn more about business cinema,

make sure you're subscribed to this channel

and click the bell, so you get notifications.

It is a completely personal choice

whether you decide you want to wear makeup

in your videos or you don't wanna wear makeup.

I know some people just aren't comfortable

with makeup, and they say,

"Do I have to put makeup on for my videos?"

No, you don't.

If you aren't someone who typically wears makeup

or you're not comfortable with makeup,

don't feel the need to glob it on.

I do, however, recommend adding a little powder,

and this goes for both men and women

to reduce the shine.

It can sometimes appear when you're using hot lights

or you're a little nervous so maybe you got a little sweaty.

And you don't wanna look shiny on camera.

So if that's the minimum, that's the basic minimum.

If you do wear makeup, and it makes you feel good,

and it's part of your brand,

and you are comfortable with it,

by all means, show up with makeup on.

I personally show up with both makeup and no makeup.

You know, all natural.

On all of my social media platforms,

I like to be spontaneous in my content creation sometimes,

and as someone who doesn't typically wear makeup

on a daily basis, I show up all natural.

And it's totally okay.

At the end of the day, it's your decision

whether you wanna wear makeup

or you don't wanna wear makeup.

And it's your business, so you get to decide.

And guess what?

You can also change your mind, boom!

So, I'm curious.

Do you wear makeup?

Do you not wear makeup?

How do you feel about this subject?

Let me know in the comments below.

I'd love to hear from you.

And if you like this video,

make sure to "like" it and subscribe to my channel.

And remember, you're someone's reason to smile.

10 Things I Learned About C-Sections | Genise Krystal - Duration: 12:30.

Hey guys welcome back to my channel! For those of you who are new- welcome! I hope you enjoy

I hope you subscribe and if you didn't already know

There is a little bell next to my name next to the subscribe button

You should probably click so you can be notified when more videos go up on my channel just a little hint hint nudge nudge

so this video is going to be on the

10 things that I did not know about

Having a c-section. For those of you who don't know, I have a beautiful little girl

Who is now 9 months old. Her name is Annelise

I went into

labor thinking I am going to be Wonder Woman

I Am going to give birth to this child

naturally

sans any kind of medication, epidural. I got there, I had to be induced because I was almost

I believe a week late

So I had to be induced I was sent to the hospital. They induced me. I was doing well

I had opened up to about 6 or 7 centimeters and

My water broke and everything and

The pains were kicking in and I was dealing ok and then at a certain point

I just kind of hit a wall, and I said you know what?

This is where I tap out

epidural please and you know there is no shame in taking the epidural because

Come on! come on!

What one person was feeling isn't the same thing that the next person is feeling or the person before her was feeling it's all just

Up to you and what you can handle and how much the pain is and you well you know, you know!

Nannie's heart rate

I'm just checking if I'm still recording

The heart rate kept taking little dips and nose dives

So I needed an emergency c-section. I had watched some videos on c-sections

just to kind of mentally prepare myself in the off chance that I would need a c-section and

I Don't know. I just didn't prep myself. I prepped myself for the c-section. I didn't really prep myself for post

C-section so I'm hoping this video kind of gives you guys an idea

Helps you out or at the very least makes you feel like you're not alone if you did have a c-section yourself

We are all Wonder Woman

you

Actually have more pain around the incision than you do in the incision itself. so, like, if they cut you here

All of this area around the incision

Or at least for me. It wasn't really the incision itself that bothered me it was the whole

Entire surrounding area of the incision so keep that in mind. You remain numb in that general area

for months, maybe even years

Like I said, I'm nine months postpartum, and I am still

Somewhat numb in that area. I know I'm touching it with my finger

I feel some sort of sensation

But it isn't the same thing as when I like if I scratch myself on my hand I can feel my nails

I feel exactly what it is. There, near my

I was going to say "my intersection" Near my incision, if you scratch it has a weird sensation

You can barely feel the nails you just feel like something's being dragged across your skin

And you don't even know what it is

I don't even know if that makes any sense... a lot of the reading that I did warned me that I could get cold and get shivers

because of the medication you know

Following the c-section, which did happen to me like I got terrible shivers. I needed at least

Three or four warm blankets thrown on top of me

I was prepared for that. what I wasn't prepared for is that for the weeks following

Maybe for the first two or three weeks following it even while I was at home

I still got some shivers and felt extremely extremely cold in the middle of the night

I would ask my husband be like are you really cold is it really cold in here should we cover the baby and he said

No, I'm fine, and the room was actually at a good temperature, but for me. I was still freezing

I was shivering I would wake up and just my teeth would be chattering just be prepared and don't be scared if it happens

Having a c-section can sometimes mess around with your breast milk

So I was told in the hospital that sometimes having a c-section

Can actually mess around with the milk supply because, you know, the baby didn't really come out on its own, your body's still kind of

adjusting to everything

You know there's all this trauma that just happened to your body so the breast milk is just kind of stuck up there like

"Should I go should I not should I go should I not" so

Just keep that in mind as well and don't feel bad about it. You know it happens

I didn't know how small the incision would actually be

Like I expected, and what really scared me, was like this really big

Scar that I was gonna have. I guess I saw my mother had a c-section for me and back in 1987

they all did the

you know, the straight down the

vertical

C-section going straight down and she has this massive scar that goes from like right underneath her bellybutton

leading down to you know her special area so and

That was I mean

It's very thick like this thick and very Brown so I was a little afraid of that happening

I know they do the bikini cuts now, and it's very rare that they have to cut straight down anymore

And it's not something they like to do

But I just thought I would have like a really thick cut going this way

And I think it's just like maybe this long

I don't know how they pulled a baby out of a hole that long, but they did it and

Yeah, so it's just this long and the thickness is nowhere near as thick as my mother's is so that's what kind of took me

Aback by it. I didn't know how much of a scar I should expect

I'm telling you now it isn't that great of a scar. That you've probably all read about this horrible constipation that everyone has

Because of the bottles and all this kind of stuff in the medication and you know take the stool softener.

Take the stool softener

Hospital won't release you until you've passed some gas, or you know had your first bowel movement. You made the poop poop

But did you know for some women this happened to me, and I didn't know about it

It took me a while to figure out when I had to pee

I'm sorry if that's TMI, but I didn't know when I have to pee anymore

I didn't feel like this big need to pee like I had to remind myself. Hey, it's been a couple hours

Go to the bathroom. I don't know if that had to do with

Just being pregnant in general if that had to do with the c-section and having to have the catheter put up there

But I really didn't know when I had to use the bathroom anymore. While you're having a c-section

You are numb, like, completely numb, and I just thought that you laid there on the table

And they pulled the baby out and they brought her around to you or him around to you

and you just would cry your eyes out it would be this beautiful thing however I

Did not know there was so much pressure are feeling them push things around and you

Especially when they pull the baby out

That is the most pressure you will ever feel in your life

You think that root canal or that pulling of a tooth is something crazy when it comes to pressure you have not had a child

Pull out of a hole this wide

Okay

That's pressure. You shouldn't feel pain, but you will feel a lot of pressure. They put these little weird

Contraptions on your legs now I didn't even realize this because I was already kind of Numb

But they put these like you know when they take your blood pressure and they put the cuff around your arm

And it kind of gets tight around your arm

It's like that but for your legs and a lot longer so it goes from like

the bottom of your knee down to your ankle and

it's

every like five minutes or so it gets tight and

Then it releases, and then it leaves you alone

And then another five minutes will go by and it'll get tight and it'll release because you're not feeling your legs

So you're definitely not walking around

This is to kind of they say to make sure there's still

Circulation going on in your legs and make sure there's no blood clots happening, it starts to actually feel quite nice

It's like a little leg massage

So I didn't know about it. I'm just letting you know if they put something around your legs don't be alarmed

We all get it

It's nothing going on crazy with you. The pain does not just happen in like your abdomen or anything like that

After my c-section. I think it was like the night afterwards

I had Nannie around 8 o'clock on the 3rd, so around that time on the 4th

I started having like these weird shoulder pains. like it was very achy, very sore here

I Almost I almost freaked out and thought that maybe I was having a heart attack or a stroke or something because I did not know

about this pain

Apparently it goes hand in hand with the c-section

I don't know if it goes hand in hand with child labor in general

But I definitely know it goes hand with the c-section we asked the nurse about this

I don't remember quite what she said I just know that it was

normal

So it is normal. While you are

pregnant and you give labor naturally right afterwards I guess you can you're actually able to

So I've read you're actually able to eat and drink

You know normally, not so with

C-section mothers. at the end of it I was thirsty

I was dry as hell so I asked my nurse if she could please give me some more ice chips at the very least

They don't like to give you anything because they know what's going to happen

I stuffed those ice chips in my mouth, and oh it was great. It was heaven

maybe about

15-20 minutes later I

had to pay dearly for it

Josue was sitting next to me and I handed him the baby very quickly I said "take her take your take her I am feeling

Sick" and next thing you know I am projectile- I'm sorry if this is TMI again, but hey

You're here to hear about

c-sections so

You better have a strong stomach

Projectile-vomited clear across the room I

understand

That you guys will probably be hungry or be thirsty

But try to give yourself as much time possible after your c-section before you put anything into your

Stomach or into your body because you will regret it

And you will regret it quickly

vomitting at that point was the most painful thing. don't do it. wait as much as you can before you put anything in your body

Because the last thing you want to do is throw up when you just had some kind of major surgery in your stomach

Please heed my warning and that

Is basically it those are the 10 things I wish I knew about having a c-section before I actually had my c-section

These are 10 things that I kind of scoured through the internet

And I didn't see a lot of mention about

So I thought I might mention it to you so that you would know. I'm sorry if it was TMI at some points, but

Hey, I wanted you guys to know so that is it for this video

Extreme Couponing - Can Coupon Clippers Become Wealthy? - Duration: 6:05.

Super bizarre question that we have that we're going to tackle today.

You've heard those extreme couponers, right?

Well today, we're going to be addressing a question that some of you have been asking

which is, can you actually create wealth by being an extreme couponer?

Coupons vs. coupons.

How do you actually say it?

I think my whole life I've said coupons and my wife always correct me, coupons.

Today, we're talking about will clipping coupons make you wealthy?

And I got to tell you right now, my wife went through this phase a couple years ago, she's

an extreme closet prepper and for those of you who don't know what that means, my wife

thinks that we should be completely self sustained which means, should anything ever happen environmentally

or to our country or should the politicians hit the nuc button or just some crazy stuff

happen, the question is, do we understand how to plant and grow things out of the ground?

Do we know how to be prepared?

Do we know how to prepare for whatever might come?

And this video here in this question that some of you have asked is, can you get wealthy

through clipping coupons?

We never figured out how to do that but my wife went through a phase and this is what

couponing can do, it means that no matter what, we never run out of toothbrushes or

floss because do you know what my wife probably paid for these?

She probably got paid to take these things from the store.

There's this, if you watch the videos online or some of the TV shows, my wife was super

fascinated, she got into this whole season of couponing and people fill up these shopping

carts filled with stuff and then when she got to the check out line, they would actually

get paid sometimes or sometimes pay like $2.48 or $12 for shopping carts full of stuff.

Not even stuff that you necessarily need and it's like this thing and so my wife actually

tried it and right now, in this bucket, all the deodorant I could use for the next several

years, Aim toothpaste, hair elastics, and not only that, it went so far as when my wife

would travel around the country, would save all of the leftover soap, shampoo, conditioner

that the hotel had offered.

Kind of a funny deal, right?

The woman has the ability to buy all of these things but for her, it was so fun for her

to get into this couponing mix and figure out, oh my gosh, is it really true?

And so by the way, yes, there's a course that she bought from this lady for like, almost

nothing and then she registered with all this different papers and magazines and started

receiving all of these things in one end and started cutting and collecting and gathering

them all together and managing their expiration dates and putting them on an excel file and

then she would go out shopping, she'd hit the stores and she'd bring out her massive

coupon book and then we'd just take as much as she could off of the shelf, getting all

of these amazing deals on things and can you be wealthy with it?

I don't know but I know that whenever I'm out of deodorant, instead of telling my wife

to get some at the store, it's just downstairs in the purple room basement, the Armageddon

room so that no matter what, if it's the end of the world, I'm going to smell, you can't

look like but you can smell like me, right?

That dude.

Actually, for Christmas I got a pair of socks of the black guy on the horse looking at,

you know, if you've watched that commercial.

Anyway, super funny.

So couponing, it was just a phase of hers, it's nothing that we do anymore these days.

I don't know if you could really get wealthy with it but you know what?

If you're frugal, it could absolutely help you store up a bunch of stuff.

Here's what we found out, the things that we really wanted, we couldn't get.

It only applied to certain things and certain products and it applied a lot to hygienic

items instead of food items so at the end of the day, Kalenn never really figured out

how to coupon is such a manner that she could take care of all of her family needs and give

us everything that we wanted through extreme couponing so that's why we ultimately ditched

it but I do want to throw a caution out.

There is a danger to the couponing mindset.

In fact, it's not a small danger, it's a massive danger.

You have to ask yourself why you're doing it.

If you're doing it because you like how you're allocating resource, that's very different

than doing it to save money.

You see, if you're trying to save 12¢ here and 58¢ here and a dollar here and 42¢ there,

you can allow your mind to get warped around this idea of saving and saving and saving

and reality is, no amount of couponing is going to make you wealthy.

If anything, it can just cut down on your bills, right?

And there's a danger to the thinking of allowing your mind to get warped with this notion that

everything has got to be a deal, I got to get everything half off, I got to get everything

for free, I got to get everything, you apply it to really small those simple things in

life and all of a sudden, how does that impact the big decisions of life?

Well, I know a lot of people that have done a good job at saving money that are miserable.

They are absolutely unhappy because they've got the couponing mindset.

Couponing mindset, couponing mindset.

So instead, my invitation is to develop a mindset of abundance that says, hey, we're

prosperous, there's always more than enough.

If you want to coupon for the fun of it, for the heck of it, because you want to store

up some great resources through couponing, go for it.

If it's because you have to save money, live or die and you're going to bring the fear

based scarcity energy in, I'd say it might be better not to do it at all because you're

just going to reinforce programming that is going to keep you from getting where you want

to go.

Mindset, what is your mindset?

That should determine whether you should actually want to go down the road of couponing.

Can you get wealthy?

I don't know really how but my basement is now full of all sorts of goodies when it comes

to our health care needs.

My friends, that is extreme couponing.

Can you create wealth with it?

Thanks for joining today and make sure that you subscribe, ring the bell and we'll be

What Do I Need To Know Before Buying A Car? | Do It Together Financial Planning with Peter Guay - Duration: 4:09.

They say the best time to buy a car is during the fall when new models come out or at

the end of the month when sales associates and dealerships are looking to hit their targets.

I say the best time to buy a car is after you've done all your research.

I'm Peter Guay of PWL Capital, and in today's "Do It Together" segment: I'll go through

the key elements you need to know when buying a car.

For most of us, buying a car means financing the majority of the purchase

after you put down the down payment.

Buying is cheaper if you plan on owning the car for more than 5 years.

If you're like most Canadians and keep your car for an average of 11 years, then you'll

be driving debt-free for a few years before you need a new car.

Now, we all get carried away when we sit in a new car but I want you to keep something

in mind.

There is no such thing as 0% financing!

Unless it's from family, no one is lending you money for free...

The government of Canada has to pay 1.5 - 2% to borrow money for 5 years, you are going

to have to pay more than that!

All those ads on TV offering 0% financing are really appealing and do draw customers

into the showroom but they are basically false advertising.

So how can they offer 0%?

It's simple, they inflate the price of the car to offset the lower cost of financing,

which, when you think about it, might explain why the car depreciates so fast when you drive

it off the lot.

Knowing all that, there are only two primary factors to negotiate:

the price of the car and the financing rate.

Now, by price of the car, I mean the total price, with interest.

Not the monthly payments.

You don't want to spread out the loan over such a lengthy period that you end up paying

way more in interest.

Of course, you could buy the car outright with cash and drive off the lot with a discount.

Here's how: because the dealers and manufacturers inflate the price to offset the lower financing

rates, you should get a substantial cash discount if you buy the car outright.

To figure out how much, you'll have to know how to discount the proposed car payments

over the term of the loan at a reasonable discount rate, say 5%.

In other words, 5% is your opportunity cost on the money you could have invested if you

financed the car instead of buying it outright.

And before I wrap up, here are some other considerations that apply to both

leasing or buying a car.

Don't buy at the first dealership you find.

Comparison shopping is key when getting a new car.

There are always several dealers in every region for each car brand.

They are supposed to be competing against each other for your business, so make them!

Dealerships work on volume, so if they're getting close to the end of the month

they really want to meet their targets.

And so they can be highly incentivized to move cars off their lot

to meet their manufacturer's quota.

Use that to your advantage!

Trade in values: Always shop them around.

Different dealerships will give you different prices for your car.

So find the best one, and leverage that with the dealership you finally choose to work with.

Don't keep the numbers in your head, write everything down and take good notes.

It will help you make sure that your negotiating is as strong as possible.

And finally, try not to get tempted by all the extras because like the name suggests

those extras will cost you a lot.

They're cool to have but they're also a lot of money out of pocket and you won't use

them as much as you think.

Is that sunroof really worth it?

Probably not.

And one final thing: car dealerships expect negotiation, so take notes, prepare, go in there and

get a new car at a great price whether you buy or lease.

Don't forget to subscribe, follow, share, and like so you get notified when I post new episodes.

Thanks for watching.

The Scariest *Yet Best $2,000 I Ever Spent - Duration: 14:39.

it's Sheryl here I'm in the hotel as you can see so if we have people coming up

by the stairwell here you'll know what's going on it's Sheryl here and I wanted

to jump on Facebook live real quick to tell you something it actually the

reason why I'm bringing this up is because of just a webinar training that

I actually just watched so just sort of inspired me and I thought you know what

I really want to come on and share with you the the scariest it really was the

scariest yet the best decision I ever made 2,000 dollars that I ever spent and

Tony while you're watching can you let me know in the chat if you're seeing

this in landscape mode right now is I'm doing a Facebook live and I'm not sure

if if we're not seeing it in the landscape mode then I'll have to switch

it hi Michael nice to see you too are you seeing my feed here and Kevin's here

too seeing this in the landscape mode if you just give me a thumbs up that you're

seeing that in this mode that would be great so because I don't want to

continue if it's like sideways if it's sideways then we have problems so just

let me know if you're seeing that I'm going to share with you the the very the

best yet scariest okay I'm seeing a thumbs so I

think that means that we're good for landscape mode okay cool

the scariest yet best $2000.00 I ever spent was way back in this would have

been about 2013 and in 2013 was kind of a momentous year for me and the reason

why it was momentous was because... Richards here - where am I? I am in a hotel

I'm in a hotel and the boys are actually going out to play their championship

hockey game in just a little while so I don't have a lot of time but I'm just

like I feel fired up right now and inspired to share this with you guys

because investing in yourself is one of the most difficult decisions we can

make especially when we're unsure of the future path that we're following and

that's why that $2,000 spend back in 2013 was so scary for me and... hi Stacey

nice to see you so back in 2013 let me preface this by

telling you what happened. I had previous to that from 2010 to 2013 had been

working in a management position. I had 17 a team of 17 journalists

reporters videographers digital writers who worked with me on my team as the

news manager of the big media brand I used to work for and and so I had them

all spread across the country was a great job loved it it was very taxing

24/7 all of that but it was you know again editorial so like the news never

stops and so I was kind of chained in my phone, but aside from that what I

discovered in that three-year period was that I enjoyed certain parts of it there

are some parts that I didn't love but in any case 2013 I'm in my office and my

boss comes to the door and says hey how are you doing okay come on in come on in

and have a seat and he goes oh actually maybe we can go talk down here I'm like

oh yeah sure like whatever right so I follow him and we go down to this other room and we

sit down he proceeds to tell me that my job is being eliminated

well the look of my face must have been priceless because I was like what like

who my immediate thought was who's going to do all this work like I'm working

24/7 like who so anyway suffice to say hi Rodina nice

to see you so suffice to say it was a bit of a shock to me that they were

going to eliminate this job anyway that job well it really it was kind of a

momentous kind of watershed moment for me because it made me realize that I'm

dispensable and so are so many of us in the corporate world when we're employees

we really we're a number on a spreadsheet and so I you know I

understood what was going on happy new year

I know you can relate I like think a lot of people reading that can relate to

this this kind of idea and so I realized that I wasn't invincible

I was dispensable I was a number on a spreadsheet somewhere and so they had to

make some hard decisions and what-have-you but what it did was it had

it forced me it forced me to start looking at the world in a different way

hi Glenn you look at the world in a different way when something like that

shatters you and I was I was shattered for a long time

bitter angry upset I felt marginalized I felt minimized all

these different emotional things were going on I think I really wasn't a form

of a depression frankly so in that process I started to seek out

alternatives I wanted to know is there a possibility that there's more to it than

this is this it am I stuck and so this leads me to telling you what the best

decision is that I ever made in this $2,000 investment that I made way back

in 2013 and hi mighty and and listen if this is resonating with you or you know

someone who this may resonate with please share this link with them or

share this post with them and you could even share it on your social networks to

get my message out to more people I really appreciate that

because it's something so many of us relate to as employees and working in

the corporate landscape and all of that it's changing radically so I was

introduced to Marie Forleo back in 2013 and she if you look her up

marieforleo.com she's amazing right she's like now in the circles with Oprah

and all of that she has a program called b-school and it's something that she'd

been doing for years at that point has continued to do for years and aw thanks

Rodina for sharing I appreciate that and this program was $2,000 it was like

one thousand nine hundred and ninety nine dollars and I think it was a US if

memory serves me I didn't have $2,000 US to invest in a marketing program and

that's what it was it was like an online marketing fundamentals program b-school

is amazing for anyone who is I highly recommend it and it really was difficult

for me to make a decision to spend money I didn't have at a time when I was

feeling emotional and it just wasn't enough I didn't feel like I was in a

really good headspace which is exactly the reason why I did it

isn't that interesting the reason why I did it

and spent money I didn't have on a program that I didn't even really fully

know I needed because I followed my instincts and I knew that nothing was

gonna change otherwise nothing was gonna change unless I started to see value in

myself and that I was worth it I found the money I think I put it on a credit

card and that program changed the course of my life $2,000 when you think about

$2,000 in the grand scheme of your life it's a drop in the bucket compared to

the grand scheme of your life it can feel like a lot when you have no money

it can feel like a lot when you're vulnerable and emotional and depressed

but making that decision was the very best yet scariest $2,000 I ever spent

and Here I am now you fast forward five years I've done many more trainings I've

done masterminds I've invested into myself at a much higher level than that

without any hesitation when you find the right person and you know that that

person has what you want and you follow that path as long as it's in a reputable

and all of that you will reap ten times that investment

over and over again and that's where I'm at now I've made way more than ever than

than I've invested in myself okay but you have to learn from the people who

you admire you have to learn from the people who've been there and done what

you want to do and what you want to achieve and it will be investment we

don't value that which is free we have a lot of free stuff online right and yes

I think that as an as a digital marketer as an online marketer we do have to

produce some content that we're gonna be putting out for free without asking for

anything in return it's content market it makes sense but from this person from

this perspective of training development coaching mentoring we don't if it's free

we don't value it so what happens is if you don't invest in yourself at a decent

level like at a higher level we it's dispensable to us it's like well you

know I bought that course for five hundred dollars it doesn't matter to me

if I do it or don't do it and it and that's why so many times online courses

go undone because it's like it's just sensible right it's like listen we're in

this hotel this weekend spending 500 bucks for just to be here for this

hockey tournament right like it's something that isn't gonna it's not

going to change the course of your life you're not gonna for most people I don't

want to down downplay the fact that $500 just a lot of money to some people but

in the grand scheme of most people's lives

you can survive but when you start to spent two thousand six thousand ten

thousand plus in yourself better darn believe you're gonna do the work right

who agrees or disagree let me know with a thumbs up if you agree if you spent

let's just say five thousand dollars on something are you gonna do the work

thumbs up let me know if you if you agree that's that if you do made a five

thousand dollar investment in yourself are you just gonna kind of be

like hey I'd rather watch TV okay of course you're gonna go on you're gonna

be like digging deep you're gonna do the work and that's why you get results when

you invest in yourself so the best decision I ever made in 2013 was

spending two thousand dollars of money I did not have on marie forleo's b-school

so that I could be where I am today which is now allowing me to have high

paying clients many of which are going to be watching this video and thank you

for your investment in me but but that's how that's how it works is that you

start to learn what you need to learn but more importantly you you actually do

the work and if that's what it takes it isn't easy

from everyone who tells you it's easy they're lying to you Mac says light bulb

moment five hundred dollars for a hotel versus five hundred dollars your

knowledge of your industry brilliant thank you thanks max ladies Rodina says

I received a five thousand dollar grant from my town for my business or I

remember that Rodina but I also had to write a hundred plus page business plan

so we think about that Rodina you know five thousand dollars you had to write a

hundred page plus business plan it didn't come easy right we said five

thousand dollars it's an investment Absolutely but if you knew that you could spend five thousand to make twenty

wouldn't you do that all day long wouldn't you do that all day long but

when you spend five thousand I'm just using that as a figure but let's say you

spend five thousand you're going to do the work and it's the work it's putting

in the time and the effort and dedication and work and commitment that

gets results coaches can't they can't hi Camden coaches can't do the work for

you you have to do the work yourself right this is what in Camden was as part

of the master mind I've been fortunate to be part of for the last two years and

so when you when you invest at a high level you do the work and you commit

yourself and there's taking it to a whole new level to a whole new level and

had I not done that I would hi Camden and had I not done that I wouldn't be

able to do what I'm doing now because they didn't know what I didn't know and

so when you know then you start to learn from people like Camden where Marie from

Salt you know you start to see and realize this is totally possible so who

wouldn't do that all day long who wouldn't spend five to make 20 or

spend two to make eight hi Judy nice to see you so I hope this

is helpful for you to know that even you know for me it was a scary time you know

back in 2013 very very first online program at a higher level like was two

thousand dollars at the time that I invested in and it was scary I really

debated it but so glad I did Camden says you're so right on this was

just talking about this with someone yesterday yes yes yes Thank You Camden

so I just wanted to jump on I actually just watched a really great webinar and

I don't know I just inspired I don't have a lot of time but let's be honest

because the boys are getting ready they're being they're giving their last

minute coaching we're in the championship game and my son is the

goalie in the championship game so as the goalie mom and dad who's back in the

room we're trying to like get ourselves together sometimes it can be stressful

but in any case I wanted to just come down here find a quiet place down the

hall there's some lights natural light here

so that I could share this message with you while I'm inspired and I think it's

an important message for you all to know that you do need to to look at these

program when you're with it whether it's mine or someone else's these programs

that are at a higher price level are that way for a reason because they get

results that's why Camden thank you I will have

a blast at the game I'm gonna try to keep calm deep breaths

and it'll be fine love you to Camden thanks so much so listen if you want to

if you have questions at all about this if listen, it didn't stop just at that

two thousand dollar investment I've invested quite a bit in myself over the

last many years and if you're curious to know what that's all about please just

message me private message me it would be happy to jump on the phone with you

and explain further what this type of thing can do for you if you're at the

place right now where you know you need transformation hi Kristin you know

you're in that place where you need change that nothing's gonna change

unless you take that action I'm here too I'm living proof that it works and it

can totally happen for you and I'd be happy to jump on the phone or

what-have-you either just do a bit of text messaging with you or whatever it

takes to help you see that this is a possibility for you as well so have a

fantastic day you guys I wish L the best and bye for now give that some serious

thought have a great day and please share this post again if you know

someone who you think could benefit from this message helps me to get my message

out to more people and I love you for it and I thank you so much for your

attention so bye for now and please like my page so that you can be notified when

I go live next time bye for now Cheers

start it off this song is so good I heard this the other day and I just knew

that I had to go on this episode immediately right

it's called want it it's so good I can't wait to play it alright let's just go

for it

see ya can I stick you wake up in the lights

give you something that you go I know it's you go light I'm gonna get

you in the zone you disagree just don't wanna leave me I can give you let me set

your mind at ease go

from saying it saying it from me

so I hope you guys enjoy that as much as I did

the next song is both daddy by Jay Haas you guys know how much I love Jay Haas

because you know one of my old lip synching videos some of you guys I know

are stolen my channel from that era was Jay Haas and it was lean and pop which

is potentially my favorite song still to this day like out of every song it's on

my top ten so we had two featured a house on here

we've both daddy forgive me I don't know the lyrics to this song that well but

I'm going cracking again and the man I'm going crack it again the man I'm going

to crack it again and the manticore you crack it again I know one thing for

certain you better be nice to lurking because I

thought a disease that is energy and it's cancer not a semi incentive 10

people study and develop or design concepts for Freddy

I wonder what it's like funny for me to watch my facial expressions when I watch

every beat drops great song okay so the next one this is a recent song and it

doesn't have lyrics oh I'm sorry I can't like live scene but I can dance well

like Bob around in the stationary position um so this is my second city

called who knows what the title is called : gah this is a tune this is more

of a house song um this is just a great song like all the songs cuz why would

they be on here let's go okay sorry I really need to say something before I

play this song and sometimes when I listen to music like a lot of the time I

imagine scenarios okay I don't know if anyone else does this but so I'll listen

to a song and like picture it in my head and like with a certain scenario

occurring so with this song I just have to like say this cuz I think that you

guys will understand so imagine I want you to imagine when the song is playing

okay you're on a deserted island okay you're having a rave like thousands of

people on a deserted island like it's in this beautiful island the Sun is just

beaming down right and like you're all you have a speaker system set up but

like it's not that good and so people are trying to like find extra speakers

because it's just not really loud enough so imagine the music's like really quiet

in the beginning and you're all just like partying and having a good time on

this island and then like wait for the beat to drop and when the beat drops I

want you guys to imagine that like people have just found like huge stereos

in the woods and plug them in right when the drop happens and then like the

entire island just raves out sorry if that was like kind of weird but no I

honestly really want you to like picture that in your head because that just

makes me so happy when I listen to this all night thinking about okay

that was so long you guys um the draw up like took forever I totally forgot how

long that took I hope you guys enjoyed like the

visualization exercise that came with that okay so the last song that he

started two more songs big song by Jay Haas pretty sure this is like from yeah

it is from his new album common sense um we gotta play it really just cuz it's

Jay Haas okay let's go

okay that's more like a tune to just jam out - and the last song epic song it's

called dangerous again been on my gem playlist for time leggo

every time I think it's contagious guitar

dangerous every time

yes contain

okay again it's like 14 minutes and I reduce the songs but you know what what

can you do when I said good song you just gotta jam out so I hope you guys

like this video if you did give it a thumbs up because it lets me know that

you guys like this series and subscribe to my channel and I'll see you at the

How to Build a Chainsaw Mill from Scratch - Duration: 11:04.

hi I'm Cressel Anderson this is Makercise. In this episode I'll show you how I

build this chainsaw mill from scratch. Before I get into the details of how I

made this mill from scratch, I'll take a moment to describe what a chainsaw mill

is and why they're a great accessory for your chainsaw. A chainsaw mill is

basically a system that's designed to bolt or clamp on to your chainsaw to

constrain its movement. Chainsaw mills are a good middle ground between buying

milled lumber and investing in your own full-scale mill. The best part is: this

tool is an accessory to a tool you should already own. By helping guide your

saw the chainsaw mill can make flat cuts repeatably. Such repeatable flat cuts are

useful for cutting logs into slices down their length. These slabs are great for

tabletops or to further process into milled lumber for your woodworking

projects. Now that you have the context let's get started building this thing.

The first step is reducing raw materials down to appropriate lengths. Then I clean

them up with the grinder. With the parts pretty much ready to go, I turn my

attention to fabricating a jig for constructing the clamps. These clamps go

on either end of the chainsaw bar, and they're what allow you to adjust the

deck height relative to the bar. The jig just serves the purpose of fixturing the

clamp and the clamp upright for welding. This way I can get both the inboard

and outboard clamps pretty close to identical. I remove a little bit off of

the thickness with my planer because this jig serves double duty. It also

helps align the upright guide to the rib. I line up the clamp bolt pads and then

just tack them into place I'll go back and finish weld these later, but

initially I'm just trying to get them tacked into place. It's important that

the bar clamp pads are parallel to each other. Therefore it's important that they

don't move around when you're welding them that's why I'm using locking pliers

to secure it to the clamp.

The next really important bit is that the holes that you drill in the

clamps line up with each other. And I did this before I welded them to the clamp

uprights and that way I could be sure that when I had a fastener and the one

end the hole that I drilled through the other end was perfectly aligned between

the two halves of the clamp--upper and lower half.

Since the inboard and

outboard clamps may or may not be identical it's important to distinguish

between them I just used an awl and kind of dimpled in the letter A on one side

and the letter B on the other side that way I can keep them straight. With the

clamp bolt pads in place, I had to do a little bit of modifications to the

template. I did that with my router and that will accommodate a little bit of

extra protrusion from the clamp bolt pads.

Then I went on to start welding it up.

You probably remember my chain saw milling video from late 2015

and you may remember that I had some issues salvaging the logs from my dad's

red oak tree this mill is the answer to my old chainsaw Mills lack of capacity I

designed this mill to accommodate a variable length bar but I settled on the

monstrous Oregon power match 34 inch bar well okay maybe it's just monstrous

relative to my old 20 inch bar at any rate I'm pretty happy with that bar

selection it's handled everything I've thrown at it so far and at the time it

represented a pretty good trade-off between the incremental cost for a

longer bar and capacity.

I used an angle grinder to dial in the notch in the rib

to accept the upright guide. After I had that notch pretty well where I wanted it

I again used my jig to help me line it up for welding. Then I cleaned it all up

with an angle grinder. I cut the upright support out of a piece

of angle iron. This piece mounts in the interior of the rib assembly and

provides support for the upright guide as well as a place to mount the upright

lock bolt.

I cut a notch on the interior of the upright guide this window is where the

upright lock bolt will enter the upright guide to effectively lock the upright

into a fixed height relative to the deck. After I had the upright support welded

into place, I cleaned it up with an angle grinder and turned my attention to

fabricating the upright wedge this little piece along with its handle is

inserted into the upright guide and it provides a bearing surface for the

upright lock bolt so that that way it doesn't mar up the surface of the

upright. It can effectively transfer the clamping pressure from the bolt to the

upright. One thing that I didn't do initially that I think is a good idea is

to add a nut to the upright guide support and that way the upright locked

bolt has a little bit more meat to bite into. I'm just not sure that 1/8" angle

iron with threads cut into it is quite enough to have good durability

over the long term. I mounted both ribs on to the upright of a single clamp and

this fixtures both the ribs so that I can match drill them it's not super

critical but doing this allows me to match drill the holes and then when I

install the rails they will be parallel.

I cut the rails to length from a long

piece of extrusion. And then I squared up the ends using my table saw sled.

The 80/20 hardware that I bought is a little bit long for the rails so I had

to cut off the end and I just did that using a little piece of scrap and my

bandsaw.

Once my hardware was shortened up a

little bit I assembled the ribs to the rails for the first time to kind of get

a feel for what this thing was gonna look like. I used some L-shaped

connectors for 80/20 hardware. And that's how I connected all the rails together.

I assembled the chainsaw mill and test the fit with my chainsaw. After doing that I

moved on to fabricating the crank mechanism.

I welded on braces to both the

fore and aft crank support brackets.

The crank rod is mounted through the top of

the crank support brackets, and its job is to be a spool essentially for the

rope that I'll use to pull this chainsaw mill through the logs that I'm milling.

I matched drill a hole in both the crank support brackets to fit this crank rod

and then I just trimmed it up to make it a little lighter and look a little nicer.

I installed the crank support brackets onto the rails of the chainsaw mill

again just using that modified 80/20 hardware.

I installed the crank rod into

the crank support brackets and that way I could get a feel for how long I wanted

that crank rod to be. I marked it with a sharpie and took it over to the chop saw

and cut it to length. I threaded both ends and one end gets a thread quite a

ways back onto the crank rod. That extra length is to accommodate securing the

crank rod between the support brackets and it also serves as a mounting point

for the crank arm and handle. The crank arm assembly consists of a

piece of flat stock a piece of rod stock and a nut. I use a bolt to hold the nut

into place while I tack it on to the flat stock. The handle is made from a

piece of pine dowel, cut to length, and then drilled down it's center

So that it can slide on to the crank arm assembly.

I added some texture to the handle using

a utility knife and then I charred a handle using my propane torch. I sanded

the handle and then I gave it a couple coats of lacquer. I cleaned up the crank

arm assembly with an angle grinder, and I paid special attention to that joint

between the rod stock and the flat stock where the handle will be bearing. I took

a little bit of material off of the ribs to lighten them and improve their

appearance. I used some acetone to clean up the parts. Then I hung them from a

rack, and gave him a coat of black spray paint. I drilled out the holes on my

pulley to accommodate the 80/20 hardware. I trimmed the clamp bolts to length once

the chainsaw mill was assembled. There are a lot of off-the-shelf chainsaw mill

options, and I'll put links to some of the most popular ones down in the

description. But if you really enjoy exercising your inner maker, you'll want

to build your own chainsaw mill. If you're interested in plans for this

chainsaw mill, I'll have a link down in the description. It has the full parts

list and dimensions that I use to make this mill, in addition to specific

recommendations based on my actual experience using this mill. In a future

episode, I'll demonstrate the use of this mill in the meantime check out one of my

previous chain saw milling episodes. I'll leave links down in the description.

2C-C: What We Know - Duration: 10:11.

2C-C is a psychedelic phenethylamine that's been used since at least the 1990s.

Although it's been available from research chemical companies, it's never become especially

popular.

It's not as popular as 2C-B, but the majority of users find it has desirable effects.

One of the primary complaints levied against the drug is that it can be underwhelming,

primarily with its mental activity.

With any drug, especially hallucinogens, the most I can do is provide an outline of the

typical effects.

Your experience isn't going to perfectly match what I say.

If I mention something usually doesn't cause anxiety, for example, that doesn't mean panic

or anxiety responses are impossible.

What the drug provides is always going to depend on a variety of factors, including

your psychology, dose, and setting.

The positive effects can include open and closed eye visuals, relaxation, insightful

thinking, increased care for others, stimulation, euphoria, music enhancement, and auditory

hallucinations.

The negative effects include confusion, anxiety, nausea, increased heart rate and blood pressure,

impaired coordination, and tension.

2C-C is typically viewed as a recreational, relaxing, and easier psychedelic.

Neither its physical or mental effects are difficult at common doses.

People come away viewing the drug as one of two things:

One view is that it's a pleasant recreational and sometimes introspective or entactogenic

psychedelic.

The other is that it's boring and not worth it.

It's rare for someone to have a really negative or harsh view of the drug, since it's uncommon

for the drug to deliver a negative or harsh experience.

It's one of, if not the most relaxing member of the 2C-X series.

The relaxing component can include sedation and users have reported feeling like they

could sleep.

Others find it's neutral or stimulating in terms of energy, but still relaxing with its

bodily and mental effects.

Words like "tranquil" and "comfortable" have been applied to the experience.

And titles like "psychedelic valium" and "psychedelic opium" sometimes appear.

The point of these descriptions is that you can feel comfortable lying down or sitting.

It doesn't feel like a stimulant, separating it from most members of the 2C-X series, DOx

series, and LSD.

But if you want to get up and move around, that's usually possible.

The onset and come up are the main periods that may differ from this description.

People start to notice a "buzz" and a sense of alteredness that's accompanied by a slight

change in perception and bodily sensations.

This is sometimes compared to MDMA's come up or to the buzz offered by alcohol.

Users can also experience nausea and rarely vomiting.

Both are less common than with 2C-B and a fair portion of psychedelics.

When nausea does appear, it's usually gone in 30 to 60 minutes.

Jitteriness and restlessness are other potential responses during the initial part of the experience.

Once you enter the full effects, the visual changes vary based on dose and user.

Common doses provide noticeable and significant hallucinations, like patterns, breathing,

movement, and colors.

There can also be patterns and other effects when you close your eyes.

And the closed-eye experience can let people enter an "internal world" where they feel

physically comfortable, relaxed, and dissociated from their setting.

However, there are some people who mainly receive a mood or bodily effect at those doses,

not a visual response.

When you reach stronger doses, it can be a pretty intense drug in terms of visual hallucinations.

The substance isn't very confusing or forceful.

This can be a nice quality, but the flipside is that it may be less likely to offer insightful

and creative thinking.

For some users, a significantly altered mental state is a key part of the psychedelic experience.

When that's not present, the experience might be boring, even if it's actually preferable

for other users.

At common doses you normally won't lose your ability to communicate.

The chance of entering a psychotic or really confused mental state is also pretty low.

It can therefore be viewed as a clearheaded psychedelic.

But that's not to say paranoia, delusional thinking, or panic attacks can't happen.

Some people dislike its short duration, but an upside of the duration is that bad experiences

should subside within a few hours.

The fact that it's not very forceful could mean it's less interesting.

But it's a positive if you don't want the drug to take over your thinking such that

it's difficult for you to bring yourself out of a negative place.

Even though people don't consider it as intense, it has the capacity to yield insightful mental

states and strong visual effects, which are dose-dependent.

It can be easier to explore personal or spiritual topics with minimal anxiety and confusion.

It also has the potential to facilitate open communication, whether that's with friends,

a partner, or someone else.

There are some pro-social and caring effects that contribute to an appreciative mental

state.

In this sense, especially when it's combined with mental and physical euphoria, 2C-C could

be called entactogenic.

Erotic thinking is sometimes encountered and it can even be paired with an enhancement

of sex.

This stems from a combination of its mental effects and tactile enhancement, which can

make everything from sex to a shower more enticing.

Yet it's still more common for people to simply feel closer to their friends or partner in

a non-sexual way.

Another effect that's been noted by some users is an increase in laughter or an enhancement

of humor.

The body high of 2C-C is normally pleasant, with common elements being warmth, buzzing,

and fuzziness.

But negatives like tension or an unpleasant sensation of energy in the body can occur.

Coordination is often impaired in a sedative-like way.

Your limbs can feel heavy, though lightness or floatiness are also common when moving.

A minority of users have uncomfortable periods of hot flashes or cold sensations, as if their

temperature is fluctuating.

And some portion also get a headache during or after the experience.

Orally it lasts 4 to 6 hours and has an onset of 30 to 90 minutes.

It lasts 3 to 5 hours intranasally, with a 10 to 20 minute onset.

A lot of users report some changes within 30 to 45 minutes when it's administered orally.

But it can take up to an hour and a half, occasionally longer, for the psychedelic effects

to really begin.

After the drug wears off it doesn't keep people awake very long.

Sleep is possible within a few hours and people feel sober pretty fast.

By the next day you're usually normal, with the exception of potential changes in mood,

both positive and negative.

2C-C is a substituted phenethylamine and a member of the 2C-X series, meaning it has

a methoxy group at both the 2 and 5 positions, and another substitution at the 4 position.

In the case of 2C-C, the substituent at the 4 position is a chlorine atom.

The amphetamine counterpart of 2C-C is DOC.

Research has confirmed it functions as an agonist at serotonin receptors and binds to

5-HT1A, 2A, and 2C.

Its affinity for non-serotonin receptors and for monoamine transporters is generally a

lot lower, so it appears to primarily be a serotonin receptor agonist.

5-HT2A activity is probably a key source of its psychedelic effects.

Orally, a light dose is 20 to 30 mg, a common dose is 30 to 50 mg, and a strong dose is

50 to 70 mg.

Intranasally, a light dose is 5 to 15 mg, a common dose is 15 to 25 mg, and a strong

dose is over 25 mg.

Most people find 30 to 50 mg orally delivers an adequate experience.

There are minorities who either get a lot of activity from just 20 to 30 mg, or who

require strong doses for worthwhile psychedelic effects.

Some of those who need high oral doses are able to use common intranasal or rectal doses.

And even for the same user, there can be a variation in dose sensitivity between experiences,

which might be reduced with intranasal and rectal use.

I think it's wise to start with a light dose so that you have an idea of your sensitivity.

Then you can move to progressively higher doses.

Its synthesis was first reported in 1983, but it wasn't thoroughly studied.

Alexander Shulgin then reported its synthesis and described its effects in 1991.

Users have posted experience reports online since at least the early 2000s and they've

increased over time.

In July 2012 it was added to Schedule 1 in the United States, alongside some other 2C-X

drugs.

It remains available as a research chemical that's almost exclusively purchased online

and is pretty uncommon.

2C-C is Schedule 1 in the US.

In Australia, it's illegal due to a blanket ban covering all 2C-X drugs and other methoxyphenethylamines.

It's Schedule 3 in Canada and Class A in the UK.

Since it's a research chemical with an unknown safety profile, you should use the drug infrequently,

at common doses, and without combinations.

Some of the psychological risks include confusion, anxiety, panic attacks, and psychosis.

While the physical risks include increased cardiovascular stress and a lower seizure

threshold.

It's not a good idea to use the drug if you have a cardiovascular disorder, epilepsy,

or a mental health condition.

Some of the risky combinations include other psychedelics, stimulants, and tramadol.
