Let's begin with the union tool, solids union, this icon here.
Or we can use the rapid key.
Just press the "U" key on the drawing grid, and we get.

To join objects we always have to take two solid objects, we only can join solid objects.
To join meshes is different, we can't join meshes with solid objects, always have to be two solids.
We can use the tool in the panel or with the rapid key.
let's do it with rapid key union, and it ask us to select the objects we are going to join.
It can be joined if they are separated or joined or one above the other, whatever.
We select the first object and the second object, and they are now joined.
they are selected like one object, if we want to separate them we use this.
this command, "separate" we chose the one we want to separate.
and separate.
We can join them in any point.
let's chance the view to wireframe, and let's
move to this point here.
we change back to realistic, let's move down a little.
And we use again union.

The second command we are going to use is subtract
This is use to subtract a solid of other solid.
in this case we have here.
we use the command subtract
and asks us to chose the object.
we want to subtract the solid, let's chose the cube.
we press enter and we select the object that we want to subtract.
We select it and press enter. This subtract only the part of the figure.
That we were subtracting. If we doing this the other way.
we use again subtract and we select this first, press enter.
then select this and subtracts the second.
Always is going to subtracts the second leaving the form of the figure that we are subtracting.
Just that easy is this, and finally.
We have the command intersect.
This command is use.
to eliminate two solid leaving only the part that are intersecting.
select intersect and we choose the two solids and press enter.
and only leaves the form of the two.
of the intersection of the two solids. let's do one that we can appreciate better.

We use intersect and select them and only leaves the part.

and create the solid wanted.
We can do a lot of thing with this tool.
