Trump's World Will Be Like The Middle East | World War 3 III - Duration: 3:58.
Hello All.
Donald Trump wants the world to look like the Middle East.
Let me explain…
He has a vision of what the world should look like.
It's built off of some sensible observations.
Trump is right to point out that we've sacrificed a lot to build the American World System over
the past 70 years.
We pay to keep trade safe and open.
The rest of the world gets a free ride from the over 400 billion dollars we spend on our
Navy each year.
We definitely pay too much of the bill to keep Europe safe.
We sacrificed elements of the US working class to build new middle classes across the world.
These are all costs that we've paid, and yes, foreign countries should probably contribute
more for these services.
Trump is also right to think that the US is powerful enough to extort a better deal from
our allies.
For the next couple decades anyway.
But what Donald Trump doesn't realize is that the price we've paid for the American
World System has been worth it.
From the early 1990s to 2017, the world has largely been based on cooperation.
The world is run by institutions that we put together.
Trump wants to change all that.
The world used to look like Trump's vision.
It was based on competition rather than cooperation.
For all of human history up until 1945, War was the way that issues got settled.
If Trump manages to scrap the American World System, it won't actually hurt the US in
the short term.
Great power competition doesn't hurt great powers, it hurts everybody else.
We won't see a US war with China or Russia during a Trump administration, because those
countries know they would lose.
But if Trump succeeds in his fight against the international order we will see more proxy
wars.
We will have ten Syrias instead of just one.
Africa, South Eastern Europe, and parts of Southeast Asia will become areas for great
power competition again.
South America might be safe for a decade or two, but that wouldn't last.
These continents would start to look a lot more like the Middle East.
And 20 to 50 years from now, one of these small wars will start a bigger one that would
likely end life as we know it.
Under a Trump foreign policy, World War III is even more inevitable than it already is.
For the past couple decades we've grown comfortable looking at the Middle East as
a unique problem.
We tell ourselves it's about "centuries old hatreds" or the "oil curse" as if
history and natural resources don't exist anywhere else.
The MIddle East is not an exception, it's the norm historically speaking.
Wide swathes of Africa, South America and Asia looked very similar as recently as the
1970s and 1980s.
The rest of the world got better in the 1990s with the end of the Cold War.
But the Middle East Region saw the continuation of competition between the US and regional
powers.
Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and now Turkey have kept the Middle East unstable for decades.
The people of the powerful countries don't suffer too much, but the people of their chosen
battlefields in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan, suffer terribly.
Dictators in more peaceful countries in the region also profit from this chaos, blocking
economic and political development across the region.
That's what competition between great powers looks like.
That's the world that Donald Trump wants to give us.
He wants the rest of the world to look like the Middle East.

know the history about Valentine's Day
we're going to share a little bit about it.
- One upon a time, in the ancient Rome. - There was
an Emperor and that Emperor prohibited
his soldiers to get married. - Oh what a shame!
He did that because he didn't want his soldiers to
be a weak because of love. - But there was
a priest called Valentine and he didin't
like this kind of prohibition and he
thought that people there were in love should
get marriage and he started marrying people
secretly. - One day the Emperor discovered about that and got
furious. - And the priest Valentine was arrested and
sentenced to death. - While in prison
he fell in love for a young lady. - That
was lady was blind and he cured her
- Yeah it was a big miracle. - And before his death, he wrote a
letter to his beloved and he signed it
"From your Valentine" and he died in February 14th.
- After some years he was considered a saint by
the church.
-And after some centuries people
started sending letters to their beloveds
signing "From your Valentine". - And that's why
today we celebrate Valentine's Day.

Growing up in the US I had the impression that Polish people were everywhere.
And now that I live in Poland I wonder how much my fellow Americans
know about the great country.
So on today's episode of Kult America I'm interviewing everyday americans
to see just what they know about Poland.
What do you know about the country of Poland?
Not very much.

Not much, unfortunately.
We're making a street survey, I just want to ask like three questions
about the country of Poland.
Oh I don't know anything about the country of Poland.
I've never been to Poland, so...
I can't really say.
Not much.
No, have you ever heard of Poland before?
What did you hear?
World War II stuff.

That's basically it.
Do you know who invaded Poland in the WWII?
Was that France?
I know Hitler invaded Poland, under false pretense, they say.
During WWII it was taken over by Russia, and..
I won't say his name right but Wałęsa kinda was the one who,
I would say, helped to break the barrier of that oppression,
and kinda make it the free state again, I guess it's own country again.

That's right!

You know I'm not positive, they're maybe the pierogi people,
and I'm not sure whether they would be also kielbasy
and things like that but good stuff.

And what language do people speak in Poland?
I don't know, English?
Have you had any interactions with Polish people?
No.
What continent is Poland on?
That's easy.
Oh that's in Europe.
West of Russia, East of Germany.
I know that it has a long history of both having been..
It's gotta strong catholic background, gotta lot of strong cultural elements.
It's been subject of military invasions
because it's so flat so it's easy for people to come from either side,
but nonetheless culturally people in Poland have a very strong sense if their self-value.
I actually don't know a lot about Poland.
I'd like to know more about it.
So to the best of my knowledge it seems that Poland is kind of irrelevant place
for the majority of Americans.
Some people were a little bit nervous and I think reserved to talk about obvious things
they knew about the country, but generally speaking the conclusion I can come to is that
Poland simply does not matter for everyday people here in America.
Anyways, I asked people to give a message to the people of Poland in this video.
And now I would like to ask the people in Poland to give a message to America

I love doing the Snapchat videos and uploading them to

You'll hold the circle and pull it up. The items in the
camera roll that were added within the last 24 hours
will come up. Select the one of your videos or pictures
and add it to your story!
Then you're DONE!
Now for your BONUS TIP. If you record a snap, the filters
will change up and you wanted a specific filter. If you
record something the way Instagram Stories works is
it only pulls up things that were done in the last 24
hours. What you can do to get around that is
you can record your snap and then before you want to
upload it to Instagram Stories, move the snap over into
your camera folder on your phone. Then Instagram will
automatically see it was just added there and think it
was done within the last 24 hours.
That is how you can pre-record for further than 24 hours
before for an Instagram Story.

The ingredients needed are the following
2cups of flour
2table spoons of baking powder
1cups of sugar
1cup of milk
1cup of water
1 egg
and half cup of butter :)
First, preheat the oven at 90C
(sorry guys this part is repeating i lost the original file :( )
Fill half of your baking tray with water
Mix and blend ALL the ingredients together
that was alot
easy isn't it? hehe
Grease the muffin tray with butter
Fill it up with the batter :)
Place the muffin tray filled up with the batter on top of the baking tray filled up with water
Steam bake it until cooked in 90C
And were DONE!! :D

Where time is passing so fast
as beer and stronger beverages :D
Today I'll present you cocktail, which is...
the oldest known stirred drink!
Of course it's an Old Fashioned!
It's strong, dry and clear-cut cocktail.
Which is one of my favourites. Why so?
Because it's strong, dry and clear-cut :D
To tell the story about this cocktail,
we need to travel back in time
to the year of 1806, May 13th.
On that day in the Columbian Balance of Repository
appeared first definition of word "cocktail".
Explaining that it's a combination of...
any strong alcohol,
a bit of sugar mixed with water
and bitters,
alcoholic essences based on herbs and spices.
The name "Old Fashioned" for the first time appeared in 1888.
In the Pendenis Club, not Penis - by the way.
Allegeldy, the creator of this drink...
was colonel James E. Pepper.
The owner of bourbon distillery
and based on this alcohol he created his Old Fashioned.
During the U.S. Prohibition,
mentioned cocktail was forgotten.
But fortunately as time passed,
people reminded of this recipe.
And today it's one of the most popular...
based on bourbon or rye whisky.
And rye whisky we will use today.
And how to make this old fahioned Legend?
Take your mixing glass
and pour:
60 ml of whisky.
Add 2 dashes of angostura bitters,
herbal essences.
Then 2 dashes of orange bitters,
herbal but also fruity essences
to bring out more fruity notes from whisky.
And for sweetness we add 5 ml of sugar syrup.
Now add ice cubes and stir until chilled.
Let's try.
Delicious.
Then strain our mixture
into short glass filled with ice cubes.
And for more fruity notes
aromatize cocktail and glass with an orange peel.
And drop it as a garnish.
There you go, an Old Fashioned!
Special for you and lovers of aged spirits.
But not only for them!
It's worth of trying just I do now :D

What Americans Know About POLAND? [Kult America] - Duration: 4:41.Growing up in the US I had the impression that Polish people were everywhere.
And now that I live in Poland I wonder how much my fellow Americans
know about the great country.
So on today's episode of Kult America I'm interviewing everyday americans
to see just what they know about Poland.
What do you know about the country of Poland?
Not very much.
Not much.
Not much, unfortunately.
We're making a street survey, I just want to ask like three questions
about the country of Poland.
Oh I don't know anything about the country of Poland.
I've never been to Poland, so...
I can't really say.
Not much.
No, have you ever heard of Poland before?
What did you hear?
World War II stuff.
Okay.
That's basically it.
Do you know who invaded Poland in the WWII?
Was that France?
I know Hitler invaded Poland, under false pretense, they say.
During WWII it was taken over by Russia, and..
I won't say his name right but Wałęsa kinda was the one who,
I would say, helped to break the barrier of that oppression,
and kinda make it the free state again, I guess it's own country again.
Saint John-Paul II is from Poland, Kraków.
We've got Thaddeus Kościuszko's House.
That's over..
Is that Third and Pine?

And then we have Polish-American museum.
That's right!
On Third one, yeah.
He helped to win in the battles of Saratoga, and handled West point.
Could you say that he's an american hero, a Polish-American hero?
Oh yeah, absolutely, of course.
Do you know what kind of food people eat in Poland?
Polish food.
You know I'm not positive, they're maybe the pierogi people,
and I'm not sure whether they would be also kielbasy
and things like that but good stuff.
Oh, wow, they... Man.
I can tell you Czech and Slovakia.
And what language do people speak in Poland?
I don't know, English?
Have you had any interactions with Polish people?
No.
What continent is Poland on?
That's easy.
Oh that's in Europe.
West of Russia, East of Germany.
I know that it has a long history of both having been..
It's gotta strong catholic background, gotta lot of strong cultural elements.
It's been subject of military invasions
because it's so flat so it's easy for people to come from either side,
but nonetheless culturally people in Poland have a very strong sense if their self-value.
I actually don't know a lot about Poland.
I'd like to know more about it.
So to the best of my knowledge it seems that Poland is kind of irrelevant place
for the majority of Americans.
Some people were a little bit nervous and I think reserved to talk about obvious things
they knew about the country, but generally speaking the conclusion I can come to is that
Poland simply does not matter for everyday people here in America.
Anyways, I asked people to give a message to the people of Poland in this video.
And now I would like to ask the people in Poland to give a message to America

- So it's our first. - It's our first. Yeahhh!!! So for those that don't
know the history about Valentine's Day
we're going to share a little bit about it.
- One upon a time, in the ancient Rome. - There was
an Emperor and that Emperor prohibited
his soldiers to get married. - Oh what a shame!
He did that because he didn't want his soldiers to
be a weak because of love. - But there was
a priest called Valentine and he didin't
like this kind of prohibition and he
thought that people there were in love should
get marriage and he started marrying people
secretly. - One day the Emperor discovered about that and got
furious. - And the priest Valentine was arrested and
sentenced to death. - While in prison
he fell in love for a young lady. - That
was lady was blind and he cured her
- Yeah it was a big miracle. - And before his death, he wrote a
letter to his beloved and he signed it
"From your Valentine" and he died in February 14th.
- After some years he was considered a saint by
the church.
-And after some centuries people
started sending letters to their beloveds
signing "From your Valentine". - And that's why
today we celebrate Valentine's Day.
