Don't Tell Me Why You Haven't Lost Weight! No Justifications @lowcarbzen of lowcarbzen.com - Duration: 2:51.

Don't give me or anybody else a list of

reasons why it's difficult for you to lose

weight

Hey this is Dix from Low Carb Zen. I have talked

to you all in the past about making

peace with where you are but I wanted to

kind of bring up something along those

lines but take it a little step

further...it's really really important that

you don't offer a lot of justification

for where you are - don't give me or

anybody else a list of reasons why it's

difficult for you to lose weight

don't give me a list of reasons why you

haven't done it yet - don't give yourself

a list of why so hard and it's impossible

or next to impossible and this is why

you haven't done it yet you would have

but because because because because

because because we do that all you're

doing is giving your subconscious mind

ok given your whole

vibe, your energy lots and lots and lots

of reasons why it's still going to be

hard and sometimes it's harder than

other times but based on what I've seen

in the last decade plus both in my

personal life and any in managing

sizable low carb communities the biggest

difference is any external circumstance

the biggest difference between people

who seem to do well and those who

struggle is attitude and if you

are sitting here giving me a list of all

the reasons why you struggle i'm going

know there's a really good

likelihood that's where your focus is

that's where your energy is laser

directed that you're going to continue

to struggle. you don't owe anybody an

explanation

you don't owe yourself an explanation you

don't owe the doctor or your spouse or

your sister or the neighbor or the lady

at the low-carb site

all you owe yourself

is the best that you got for

you but it that's it that's my thoughts

right now

motivational minute or whatever

hope it's helpful to you

peace out be happy be healthy and

be joyful

ok take care bye-bye

I think it's talking to me, what do you

think? ommmm. drink more water

ommmm. okay, hidrate.

10 Tips Para Mapansin Ni Crush - Duration: 8:06.

What's up, guys! This is Jomie Hospital, that's J-O-M-I-E.

And I know for a fact that most, if not all of us, have a crush.

That moment when you see your crush looking so damn gorgeous, hot as ever!

And then bam..

SLOW MO!

You can't breathe coz' he's getting closer..

And then,

He walked past you.

But whether your crush is a boy or a girl or somewhere in between (I don't judge),

and then he/she might not notice you, here's 10 Tips Para Mapansin Ni Crush!

No. 1, "Befriend his/ her friends."

Yeah, right?

I told you.

THAT WAS REALLY FUNNY!

Can you say that again? That was really funny.

Hey, say it again!!!

No. 2, "Follow him/her in all of his social media accounts."

Huh, I'm gonna add you on Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Youtube, Friendster,

uhm, GRINDR,

and on Facebook. Well, I have 460, 000 followers! *evil laugh*

Oi, bai.

Uhm.

Do you know this.. Jomie Hospital?

Oh, that one with 460, 000 followers on Facebook?

REALLY?

Yes. Why?

Uhm, he..

He added me.

HE ACCEPTED MY FRIEND REQUEST!!

No. 3, because adding him/her is not enough, "Like all of his/her posts."

Like, Love, HAHA, WOW, Sad, Angry.

Hmmm. THIS IS IT!

Bai.

"Jomie Hospital liked the post."

Which post?

When I joined Facebook..

Like, like, like. THIS IS REALLY IS IT!!

"Rigel Thomas joined Facebook on 2007."

Like.

EXTREME!

PARA EXTREME!!!

No. 04, "Take active interest in his/her hobbies."

So if he likes basketball, well..

Let's play basketball..

But we only use one ball in the game.

Oh, really?

Of course!

Well, I want to play with two balls.

PARA EXTREME!

No. 05, this is optional but preferable, and for girls only, or maybe some guys,

"WEAR MAKE-UP!"

Do you really need to wear make-up?

Of course. PARA EXTREME!

Or maybe that was too much.

No. 06, "Upload a good selfie.. consequently."

Well, I need to look pretty in my selfie.

BOKEH EFFECT!

Uhm, it's 3PM, it's time for a selfie.

But I have a pimple, well not to worry, FACE BEAUTY EFFECT!

Um, it's 5PM. Time for another selfie!

But it's almost dark, well not to worry, SOFT LIGHT!

No. 07 is quite effective. "Establish eye contact."

If you look back at me, then you're mine.

Gosh, he looked back!

OMG, he clearly has feelings for me too!

Wait, why is he staring at me? is there something on my face?

Gosh, he might court me now, then I'll marry him. What's gonna be the color of my gown?

How many kids should we have? A dozen PARA EXTREME!!

Or maybe, I'm not the one he's staring at.

Hmmm. That was weird. Where are we again?

No. 08, if he/she still doesn't notice you, then, CREATE A MOMENT!"

Are you in, Awra?

Roger that, Onyok!

Checking the perimeter now.

Target on sight?

Target locked!

Confirm coordinates.

22° North, 40° South. Target at 9 o'clock!

Ready for takeoff.

Oh, I am sorry.

No, it's okay.

No, no, lemme help you. Lemme help you.

No no, it's okay.

Are you sure?

SURE!

Okay.

Man down, man down!

MISSION FAILED!

No. 09. This is aggravating, if he/she still doesn't notice you, then, "Just introduce yourself".

Hi.

Can I talk to you?

You're Rigel, right?

Yes, how do you know me?

Uhm, I am..

You are..??

I am Jomie Hospital of House Targaryen. The first of his name, the rightful heir to the Iron Throne,

Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, Mother of Dragon--FLIES,

The Unburnt, Breaker of Chains but not of hearts..

And 460,000 followers on Facebook!

I am Jomie.

And last but not the least, No. 10.

"Just do nothing and be you."

Who knows, YOU might be the one that he.. y'know.

Hi, excuse me.

Can I talk to you for a minute?

Talk???

You're Jomie, right?

Oh, how do you know me?

Uhm, can I talk to you. I mean, just YOU.

So that's it! Once again, as always, thank you for watching, this is Jomie Hospital saying..

NO REGRETS, JUST LOVE!

Lemme tag my crush now.

Allies Worry as Trump Accuses Germany, Japan of Purposely Devaluing Currencies - Duration: 4:01.

Allies Worry as Trump Accuses Germany, Japan of Purposely Devaluing Currencies.

BY James Holbrooks.

Following recent comments from President Donald Trump suggesting the U.S. is being forced

to sit there like a bunch of dummies as its taken advantage of by the economic

policies of China, Japan, and Germany, leaders from those countries responded this week with

comments of their own.

On Tuesday, Donald Trump, along with one of his top economic advisors, unleashed what

Reuters described as a barrage of criticism over what the two men perceive as the three

key U.S. trading partners deliberate devaluing of their currencies to the detriment of

the American consumer.

Every other country lives on devaluation, the president said in a White House meeting

with executives from the pharmaceutical industry.

You look at what Chinas doing, you look at what Japan has done over the years.

They they play the money market, they play the devaluation market and we sit there

like a bunch of dummies. As he did with the auto industry, Trump is

pressuring pharmaceutical companies to relocate production facilities to the United States.

Complaining of red tape, Trump claimed other countries take advantage of us with their

money and their money supply and devaluation. Prior to the presidents meeting at the

White House, the head of his newly created National Trade Council, Peter Navarro, had

told the Financial Times the European Unions euro was the equivalent of an implicit

Deutshe Mark that gave Germany an edge over the United States on trade.

Defending her countrys practices while in Stockholm, Sweden, German Chancellor Angela

Merkel stated Tuesday: We dont exercise any influence over

the European Central Bank, so I cant and I dont want to change the situation as

it is now.

We strive to trade on the global market with competitive products in fair trade with all

others. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe didnt

take the jab lying down, either.

He, along with the governor of the Bank of Japan (BOJ) and Japans chief cabinet security,

all denied Trumps allegations.

Sign up for the free Anti-Media newsletter the establishment doesn't want you to receive

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Abe stated before parliament that Criticism that the BOJs

policy is trying to devalue the yen is wrong. Hours before, BOJ Governor Haruhiko Kuroda

said Japans monetary policy is designed solely for the purpose of achieving our

price target at the earliest date possible, and that Japan does not directly target

currency rates in guiding monetary policy. Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga stated

simply that Trumps allegations were completely baseless.

Such back and forth verbal sparring between the still-forming Trump administration and

an increasing number of countries including U.S. allies on the issue of international

trade has many concerned over the future of global markets.

While the fact that the brash Trump would initiate such bouts with his unpredictable

comments should, at this point, surprise no one, the fact that the president is making

these specific comments has some analysts thinking there may be real cause for concern.

Those comments, talking about somebody elses currency, talking about valuation,

almost seem like theyre criticizing the construction of the euro zone which is a whole

other issue, Greg Anderson of BMO Capital Markets in New York, told Reuters.

Im sure a lot of people have those thoughts.

In the gentlemans agreement, as an official you dont mention those thoughts.

The group of people the adults wrote off as an uninspired lot who are living life the wrong way.

The youth.

But the youth, you see, is special, they are the present and the future.

They're the people who've lived the horrid past, but also the group of marvelous beings

who'll change the future.

The youth is careless, yes, but it also is scared, scared to make mistakes, like they

will be punished for it, like someone's watching them, like they're constantly judged.

The youth falls in love a lot, maybe because their past has less of it,

Maybe because they just want to see a world that for once is run by it, a world without

hatred, a world where everyone can get along,

The youth has revolutionized the way we see things, thousands of times.

The youth has loads of ideas, to change the world in big ways, to alter the course of

It also has a passion for the same.

The youth is judged, but it takes the judgements positively.

The youth is misunderstood but they don't correct others as they don't understand

Marcel Kittel's Specialized Venge ViAS Disc - Duration: 3:51.

- Well this is a mean looking machine, isn't it?

This is Marcel Kittel's S-Works Venge ViAS disc,

which has been hitting the headlines already in 2017,

courtesy of the fact that Tom Boonen

rode it to a stage victory at the Tour de San Juan.

The first time, we think, that a disc brake road bike

has been ridden to a UCI victory.

So, a bit of a milestone in many ways.

Peter Sagan was also using something similar

in the warm up days to the Tour Down Under.

And I know that we didn't see him

racing it during the stage themselves.

But, having actually ridden

with Marcel Kittel this morning, yes I am showing off,

he is going to be racing this bike here at the Dubai Tour.

Now, the Venge has been out around for quite some time,

2015 was the launch date for this particular model.

But one of the complaints of a couple of riders when

they first used it was that the braking wasn't that great.

So, really, it's quite a smart move from Specialized

to make it into a disc brake bike, which has other

advantages apart from the better modulated braking.

So in talking to Marcel, he said the fact that the brakes

are no longer here at the back has allowed Specialized

to completely redesign the forks here,

which makes it a lot stiffer,

something that he will no doubt appreciate

when he's putting out close to 2,000 watts.

And I'm guessing the same applies there

at the rear triangle to some degree as well.

The paint job is something that we first saw

at the Tour De France in 2016, and as you can see,

it really is very striking indeed.

Specialized do do a fantastic job of giving

some custom paint jobs to their star riders,

including Kittel and the likes of Sagan as well.

Now, you probably saw on the channel very recently

the launch of the brand new Shimano 9170 Dura-Ace groupset,

the first Dura-Ace groupset to combine

electronic shifting with hydraulic braking.

But it is some previous models that Kittel is using

on this bike at the moment, I think it is still very rare.

So, he's got the 9000 groupset that spans through

the front and rear derailleurs, the cassette,

and also the chainset there as well.

And then it just says Shimano here on the hydraulic disc,

which have been around for quite some time,

2014 I think they were launched.

Up here he has the Supacaz bar tape,

which has a nice, rubbery texture.

You might already know this, but Supacaz is a fairly new

company which was set up Anthony Sinyard,

who is the son of the Specialised co-founder Mike.

And the bar end plugs, not your normal plastic affairs,

they're actually made out of aluminium,

and they've got some expander plugs inside, which you fit.

They are wrapped around these Vision Metron 5D

combined bar and stem from the Italian company.

Now, it doesn't have the measurement of the stem written

on there as far as I can see.

But I have measured it, and it's roughly

12 centimetres centre to centre,

and the bars measure 440 millimetres from edge to edge.

Up at the top there he's got a specialised Romin Evo saddle,

which is a fairly short and compact design

with the carbon rails.

Tacx provide the bottle cage, as you can see here,

and he's also run a Shimono Dura-Ace pedals.

7.95 kilogrammes, so not too too heavy,

but it's certainly a penalty over a non-disc-brake bike,

of around about one kilo,

compared to UCI's minimum weight of 6.8 kilogrammes.

So, unlikely that we're going to see these sprinters

using these disc brake Venge ViAS bikes on

the hillier mountain stages of the grand tours this year.

Nice looking bike, though, I have to say.

One thing I did forget to mention is that

they've still got the 4iiii powermeters,

left and right side here at the moment.

The only thing they've changed is that the cover

is now white instead of black,

presumably to make it stand out a little bit more.

Now if you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up.

And if you've yet to subscribe

to the Global Cycling Network,

it is free to do so and you just have to click

on the globe, which you'll find on the screen right now.

If you'd like to see Si's first ride and first look

at that brand new Shimono 9170 groupset,

you can find that in the bottom corner down there.

Or, on the other hand, if you would like to see

some sprint tips from Mark Cavendish

from Dubai Tour this time last year,

you can find that in the other corner down there.

- NARRATOR: Texas Parks & Wildlife,

a television series for all outdoors.

- ADRIANNA WEICKHARDT: It's 6 a.m. here at the

Franklin Mountains State Park and we're here

to hike with our dogs.

[barking]

So today we're doing our "Bark in the Park" hike,

introducing new hikers, both dogs and people

to beginner-friendly trails.

[dogs barking]

All the dogs that come in in the morning are all starting

to get adjusted to this new environment.

It's going to be a lot of barking, a lot of excitement.

We let the dogs get it all out of their system,

get to know each other, and it doesn't take much time at all

for the dogs to settle down and make some new friends.

[energetic swing music]

So today we're starting at 6:00 in the morning.

We wanted to be able to beat the heat since we're still

in our hot summer season.

[footsteps]

We chose the lower sunset trail.

This is going to be about two and a half miles

and it's slightly on the more advanced level

of a beginner-level trail.

So, there's going to be some incline, there's going to be

some rough spots, but for the most part this is

a beginner-friendly hike that we can take.

It circumnavigates one of the ridges here,

and it's really beautiful.

[energetic swing music]

Adoptable dogs will come out, and so today we're actually

going to have seven adoptable dogs join us.

People love dogs, for the most part, and you really see

some camaraderie happen out there on the trails.

[energetic swing music]

A good rule of thumb for hiking out with your pets

is stopping every 30 minutes or so.

[mellow music]

We'll stop and assess situations to make sure the dogs

are still behaving and enjoying themselves.

Then be thinking about your dog's nutrition and health.

So you want to make sure that you check your pet's pads.

At least offer your dog some water or treat.

[mellow music]

Because we do have wildlife out here, pets are to remain

on leashes throughout their time in the park in case they

scare up something unexpected like a rattlesnake.

We're protecting the wildlife but we're also protecting

our pets.

Usually we talk about "Leave No Trace" in regards to people,

but dogs, since they're our responsibility, we want to

make sure that they're leaving no trace as well.

Sometimes you have to carry that with you throughout the hike.

[energetic swing music]

Sometime you want a little bit more of an adventure.

Some people just like to have some of that social interaction.

It's a fun environment, it's a learning environment,

and we do this at a slow pace so that everybody

can have a good time.

[energetic swing music]

Even if people aren't looking for the tips or suggestions,

just having the opportunity to hike with some other dogs,

get some good training, or even hang out in the back

and just enjoy the scenery, you're always welcome.

- NARRATOR: But chances are, these students don't get their

news from TV, which is why Dale is diving into today's way

of sharing stories.

To see if a generation tied to technology can convince their

peers to look up from their screens.

[upbeat pop music]

For many of Dale's students, this is their first time

in a state park.

- DALE: This mobile storytelling class is one that I pitched

because it marries my two loves which are technology

and being outdoors.

- NARRATOR: Dale is the guy who visited all 95 Texas state parks

in one year, many with his dog Lucy.

Now he wants to help students find their own stories outdoors.

- DALE: A lot of the modules we've talked about are composing

a shot and how to interview people and how to tell a story.

Those skills are still really important.

I mean that is what storytelling is all about but now we're

learning to do it with much simpler and more compact

and more mobile tools.

- Next!

- NARRATOR: Well, simple may be a relative term.

The university is providing extra equipment to turn phones

into storytelling devices.

- Do y'all know how to work this thing?

- DALE: They're going to be working primarily with

their phone, shooting on their phone and then editing

on their phone as well.

These skills are just how it's done now.

- Feed it down your shirt and out.

- Texas Parks and Wildlife has said it needs help getting

college-aged students into the parks.

So, that's what a lot of our video projects

are going to focus on.

Okay, ready?

- NARRATOR: The first story of the day goes out on Snapchat,

a social media application popular for its

temporary nature.

- Hi, I'm Katy!

- And I'm Dy from the School of Journalism and Mass Comm.

And we're taking over the Texas State Snapchat!

Snapchat is a little difficult to explain but it's a

social media platform where you can share instant

photos and videos.

I'm here with a group of 17 students to do video projects

at Garner State Park.

What I really like about mobile storytelling is that it's a lot

easier to stay connected to where you are and what you're

doing and also to be able to take a little piece of that back

with you back to the cities.

So, we're going to be interviewing people

and learning about their experiences with the outdoors.

With Snapchat I don't have to think too much and just kind of

share what's going on right now.

- NARRATOR: Students are let loose to find some more stories.

[upbeat pop music]

- I'm really hoping for some creativity.

I'm hoping they're not timid and scared to go up

and talk to people.

- STUDENT: What's been your favorite part so far?

- Oh, well actually we just did a hike...

- DALE: ...try some stuff and know that, hey it might fail

but at least we tried it and work around it

and problem-solve.

- The wind was kind of harsh, though.

- NARRATOR: Ashleigh and Tori are looking for stories

that will inspire people to visit parks.

- We're using social media as a way to get people

my age getting active, going outside.

- I am 21-22 years old and I'm from Houston, Texas.

- TORI: Awesome, me too!

Our generation kind of likes to sit on their phone

and watch Netflix.

- MALE CAMPER: This is my first time going camping.

- TORI: So they just need to, you know, have a little push.

Go outside!

It's going to fun, I promise.

You're not going to die or anything crazy like that.

Is it okay if we interview you, just like a couple of questions

really quick?

It's really hard approaching complete strangers.

- NARRATOR: Meanwhile, another team is focusing on fun things

couples can do in state parks.

- I haven't explored state parks

and I know a lot of my friends haven't either.

So we're trying to catch the ones that do come out

and see what attracts them to it.

Would y'all be interested in doing a five-minute interview

about state parks and why y'all like to come?

No?

It's okay.

It is hard but I think you just have to do it.

If I thought about it and got nervous every time I did it,

I don't think I would have any interviews and I probably

wouldn't be in this field.

- NARRATOR: As the day goes on, Tori and Ashleigh run into

a bit of a snag.

- We didn't have our mics on!

- Yeah, our mic wasn't turned on and we lost

all of our video.

So, we're kind of bummed but we're going to move forward.

- NARRATOR: For some students, the best way to get a story

is to do a little first-hand research.

- DALE: I want to help foster that next generation of people

who enjoy our lands here in Texas, to connect with them

on a really personal level because they consider that,

that is their base.

- Ready?

1, 2, 3.

[laughter]

- NARRATOR: A trip to Garner wouldn't be complete without

a hike up Old Baldy.

- This was a brand new experience for me and I was

on hands and knees for a lot of it getting up and down.

- STUDENT: You okay?

- NARRATOR: And hers wasn't the only struggle...

[laughter]

- I'm gonna die!

- Getting to the summit of the trail is not the end of it.

It's the whole journey up and down that is what is important

and what is good to reflect on.

- NARRATOR: The view from the top doesn't disappoint.

- It's really beautiful.

My accounts will definitely start being filled with more

videos and photos like this.

- TORI: Just taking it all in....

- NARRATOR: After a long day, the storytellers kick back

and enjoy some time around the very first storytelling device.

- MALE STUDENT: Alright, we are roasting marshmallows!

We got one flamin'!!

- STUDENTS: Woo-hoo!

[laughter]

- NARRATOR: Back on campus, it's time to settle up.

- DALE: They had to answer the question of why should

young people visit our state parks or get outside.

The cool thing with that is for a lot of students this was their

first time in a state park so who better to tell young people

to get out to the parks than somebody who's experiencing it

for the first time and kind of witnessing that magic.

[acoustic guitar music]

- Hey, what's up you guys?

My name is Malcom Gibbs and I am a senior advertising student

at Texas State University.

- It's such a beautiful day outside.

Would you not rather be outside doing something?

You can go fishing.

You can go on a hike.

- You can't really understand how important it is

and how beautiful it is out here and all of the experiences

that you can have.

- And it's also really cheap!

- Being out here is just a good break from life.

- DALE: I think college-aged students are a lot more

introspective than people give them credit for and they're

looking for ways to connect.

So I am more than willing to do anything and everything I can to

get people out into the parks and spread that message.

- DY: I'm really excited for my friends to see all the stories

I told this weekend.

If I could re-live this weekend over and over again,

I would, definitely.

This won't be my last visit to a state park for sure.

[wind blowing]

- NARRATOR: On a cold morning in Northeast Texas,

these biologists are assembling a radio tower on land

to help restore a rare fish to the water.

- Today we're putting up a radio telemetry tower

at one of our cooperating landowners' ranch.

- NARRATOR: Helping the fish has required no small amount of

effort from a number of players.

- We have two point six miles of river frontage.

We are in the cattle business, and we're changing our

management scheme to help the fish here in the bayou.

[clanking]

- This is one of the three towers that we're putting up.

Each tower has antennas pointed both upstream and downstream,

so we're able to tell which direction the fish

are coming from.

[power tool whirs]

That way, high enough, or you can roll it....

[wrench clicking]

- NARRATOR: So why would ranchers, non-profits,

and government agencies go to all this trouble for a fish?

- I've never seen a paddlefish.

- NARRATOR: Especially a fish most folks have never seen?

Well, the paddlefish is one of a kind.

- Paddlefish are very unique.

They're kind of the hodgepodge of the fish world.

They have no scales like a catfish, they have a skeleton

made completely out of cartilage like a shark, but yet they're a

filter feeder like a whale.

[adding machine]

[boink]

[bell dings]

- NARRATOR: They may look like mythical creatures.

But Wayne Heaton sees paddlefish every day,

at the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center,

just down the road in Athens.

- WAYNE: I love these fish - they're my favorite

fish here, and most people when they walk up to this exhibit

have no idea what these fish are.

[music]

When they open their mouth and it looks like a giant net,

that's exactly really what it is, is those gill-rakers form a

net to catch all the plankton, which are basically small bugs

in the water.

Now they're still on the threatened species list here in

Texas, but in rivers like the Mississippi River, they still

have seasons for them and actually still fish for them.

They can actually get over seven feet long

and 200 pounds.

Paddlefish are the oldest living species of fish that we have

in North America.

They're over 300 million years old.

They can date these guys back to the time of the dinosaurs.

And when we dammed up all of our rivers, unfortunately these guys

lost a lot of their spawning habitat.

[hammer clinking on metal]

- NARRATOR: So, in part to keep paddlefish from going the way of

the dinosaur, groups are working together to restore the

fish to Caddo Lake and Big Cypress Bayou.

- Paddlefish were in this system at one time,

and they're not here anymore because of the

river fragmentation.

- NARRATOR: Paddlefish evolved with seasonal flooding,

so restoring more natural flows to the bayou was a first step.

- In the springtime, during their spawning season,

they need a high-flow pulse to find their spawning grounds

and to lay eggs in the fast current in the river.

[rushing water]

- The average Corps of Engineers dam is more than a

half century old and the guiding plans for operating those dams

have not been updated since they were originally built.

- TIM: Really for about 10 years many groups have been

working on mimicking these natural flows.

- Lake O' the Pines has done great as a flood

control structure, it's kept Jefferson from flooding,

provided lots of water supply for many of the cities.

So now we're just asking to add a third feature,

which is releases for fish and wildlife.

- NARRATOR: To gauge how the fish respond to these releases,

a transmitter is implanted in each fish at the hatchery.

- PETE DIAZ: The tag is in, and we will sew up the fish.

- Fish and Wildlife service, working with other groups

like Caddo Lake Institute, The Nature Conservancy,

Corps of Engineers, USGS, Parks and Wildlife,

they've actually implanted radio transmitters in 47 paddlefish

and they're going to release them

and track them for about six months.

- PETE: Mid-channel?

- MIKE: Right in the middle of the river.

- NARRATOR: So, the flow restoration, tower installation,

and surgical procedures have all been leading up to this

particular moment, as the transmitter-implanted paddlefish

arrive at Caddo Lake State Park.

- TIM: I think if we just came and put paddlefish back in the

river with nothing else happening, chances of their

success would be low.

[pump starts]

There are a lot of pieces to this project,

and a lot of different groups working on it.

- RICK: Today we're going to release about 50 of them.

[splashing]

- ROBERT SPEIGHT: You do not forget them when you see one.

- Amazing!

- TIM: All the incisions look good.

- PETE: Everything's going great -

the fish look really good.

- TIM: They're going to find things to eat and they're

going to grow.

And hopefully thrive.

[splashing]

- NARRATOR: One by one, paddlefish are reintroduced

to the bayou, at the state park and several miles upstream

in Jefferson.

No one can know if the fish will be lost downstream,

if they will thrive or even survive, but hopes are high.

- Oh, that is so exciting!

- It's really gratifying to see this day come.

We've all been working at it for many years, and to see this

release happen today, it's just a good day for the fish

and a good day for East Texas and for Caddo.

[applause]

[engine starts, motor revs]

- MIKE: It's been about four months now.

Since the release, we've contacted 46 of the 47 fish.

The towers that we put up, they've been doing the majority

of the work for us.

But the idea when we go out in the boats is we're trying to

find where those fish are between towers.

- This is where we've seen fish before.

- MIKE: You never know!

- NARRATOR: With months to spread out over 60 miles of

waterway, the fish can be tough to locate.

- MIKE: Yeah, we've gone several miles.

We haven't heard anything yet.

That's kind of how tracking goes.

- NARRATOR: Hours of searching may not yield a single signal.

- MIKE: But you know, not finding fish there

is actually data also.

For whatever reason that is, none of the fish

are choosing that habitat at the moment.

- NARRATOR: Where paddlefish are being found

is a bit of a surprise.

[beeping]

Many have traveled as far as possible in the

opposite direction.

- TIM: The one interesting thing that we've seen is a lot

of fish, attracted by the flow coming out of Lake O' the Pines,

have been identified as being present there at the spillway.

- MIKE: The unanticipated result was that half the fish went up

to Lake O' the Pines.

We see little glimpses of things we think might be important

but in another two months we might say well this is why

that happened and now they're doing something else.

So we've got a little snapshot of what the paddlefish needs,

and we really need the bigger picture of what

the paddlefish needs.

We're about halfway done.

- NARRATOR: But as the tracking and data collection continue,

it is already clear this cooperative effort

will benefit more than just one fish.

- ROBERT: I think the paddlefish is a means to an end.

I mean we like to see the paddlefish in here obviously,

but that in turn helps a lot of other species, a lot of other

things in the environment, so it's a win-win.

- NARRATOR: It is also a win-win if one threatened fish can

teach us how to better manage such a complex

and beautiful ecosystem.

- TIM: Caddo Lake has the most diverse freshwater fish species

of any system in the state of Texas.

[music]

All the other species that rely on natural river flows

and good river habitat are going to benefit

from this project.

- MIKE: It's just one part of a much much bigger picture.

[music]

- NARRATOR: To learn more about paddlefish research or to track

fish online, visit caddolakeinstitute.us.

[boat engine revs]

- Hi I'm Mike, and this is Carl, and today we're going to be

doing a creel survey.

[boat engine and soft music]

- We're looking for anybody out fishing in a boat.

Once we encounter them then we'll stop and interview them.

How you doing today?

We're with Parks and Wildlife, we're just conducting

an angler survey.

- CARL: We're with Parks and Wildlife, we're doing

some angler surveys.

Do you mind answering some questions?

- Our creels on this lake are four hours each.

The sections of the lake and the times that the creels are done

are generated at random.

We either go clockwise or counter-clockwise that day.

We'll do a flip of a coin to see which way we're going to go

and that's the way we go for the rest of the day.

- How long have you been fishing today?

- How long have you been fishing today?

How long have you been fishing today?

- And how much longer before you finish, you think?

- Yes, sir.

- Okay.

- It helps us keep in touch with what's going on on the lake.

[technical banter]

- This is Claire, she's our summer intern.

- Hi.

- So, we're teaching her how to do all this stuff.

- CARL: You want to try it?

- CLAIRE: No...

You go for it.

[chuckles]

- MIKE: And what are you fishing for today?

- MIKE: And fishing for what today?

- MIKE: Catfish?

Okay.

- CARL: What are we going after?

- MIKE: So just put crappie down.

With all that data that we compile, we can come up with

a management plan on what to do for the lake:

harvest regulations, size limits,

getting funding for boat ramps.

We get to see a lot of this lake.

Everything's different every time you come out.

- You never know what to expect.

- Nothing's ever the same.

I love my job.

It beats sitting behind a desk and looking at a computer screen

all day.

How we repair a huge tear in 18' inflatable slide - Duration: 1:08.

Hi, I'm Samantha with Repair My Moonwalk and behind me is an 18' tall slide that we're

about to repair.

I'm going to go in and show you the seam tear that we're going to go in and rebuild.

This is the seam that we're going to repair.

It ripped right at the seam.

So we're going to go up inside it and replace it with some new material and reinforce it.

This is the seam that we're going to go in and reinforce but we noticed one seam over

right here is going to have the same problem that we have right here where the material

is eventually going to rip.

So we're going to go in, since it's near the repair we're already doing, and tighten the

seam.

Ok, as you can see we repaired both of these seams.

Right here, this was where the 12 inch tear was.

We went on the inside, and it doesn't even look like it was ever torn in the first place.

And we also went down here, retacted this area, so we also reinforced that so there

won't be any tearing in the issues on that side.

PAINTED TOWER

FOLK POETRY OF POLISH PEASANTS

TRANSLATION AND SUBTITLES: ©2009 Derek Sypniewski

Listen, oh Listeners ...

... what Storytellers have to say.

– I have served God faithfuly

but when I planted an apple tree ...

– Year has passed for this apple tree

My little apple starts blooming!

– Now 2 years have passed for my apple tree

And my little apple tree has flowers now.

– 3 years passed for my little apple tree

and fruits appear on my little apple tree!

Unhappy is fish out of water

Unhappy is girl who just talk to the boys

Green apples, nuts,

There's no comfort in such love.

Green apples, nuts,

No happiness in such love.

Mother oh my mother don't add to my unhappiness

because my heart is taken by another man

She sat on a horse and whistle:

My Dear Love is leaving me.

She sat on a horse and whistle:

My Dear Love is leaving me.

The cuckoo made a noise and keep going and going on

"Tell me, cuckoo birdie, where is my Johnny sleeping tonight?"

"In the fields? In deep forest? Or in the mountains?"

"Tell me, cuckoo birdie, where is my dear Johnny?"

– Deep dark is the night

I'm coming to you

If you've felt asleep I'll wake you up.

If your red cheeks are asleep

My gentle word will wake you up.

If only you'd want me, my dear

I'll thresh 4 heaps of hay for you,

and make an oak stool

for you to use when you'll milk cows.

And I'd have it painted

to make it easy to wipe clean.

– Lilies have bloom in my garden, Boys love me, but too young ones.

Gotta chop and trash them lilies

so bigger boys would like me too.

– Hoary horse, hoary, gray tail,

Tell me, girl, do you like me?

Tell me, girl... Do you like me?

– I was in the garden standing when 7 boys came to me at once

Each one I've greeted nicely and

I gave a gift to all of them

First one got breathtaking caugh,

Second one got hankering disease,

Third one got whipped so he knows: "I don't love you, rascal!"

Fourth one got hare stare

so he won't visit girls at night

To fifth one I gave deer horns

so he'd remember me for years

Sixth one got salt in the eyes

so he won't chase girls during the day

Seventh one got my little hand

Because it was my Johnny, my dear Johnny it was.

Bird flew onto stem and shakes a flower.

– Why, oh why, my Dear, have you tighten up the world for me?

She was sowing little groats

green and immature,

Don't hit me father, mother, don't hit me father, mother,

I'm so lonely without anyone.

Don't hit me father, mother, don't hit me father, mother,

without anyone I'm so lonely.

I'm so lonely, so lonely,

without my Johnny.

If only I knew the way, if I knew the way,

I'd go to him myself.

If only I knew the way, if I knew the way,

I'd go to him myself.

But I don't know the way

and I'm ashamed to ask.

It's been three years, been three years,

since I've seen my Johnny.

It's been three years, been three years,

since I've seen my Johnny.

– Good times, bad times, where should I go this time?

I'm Johnny, I can go anywhere, I'll go to a girl, she'll take me.

I'll meet a girl in the orchard

Take me in, dear Mary, my flower!

– Don't step on the rose, don't pick all flowers.

Don't chase the girls, stop fooling the world.

Don't sit beside me, don't talk to me, don't betroth me

I'm poor and have no monies, you won't like me.

– I don't ask for your riches

I'm asking you

to marry me.

First one was dark as night,

I didn't like that.

Second one was brighter,

but I didn't like her either.

Third one was bright as noon sun,

and I knew she was the one!

People said the day is dark

but it was that she closed her eyes.

People said the day is sunny

but t'was her glowing cheeks shine.

People said the day is serene

but it was just reflection from my girl's forehead.

Little groats, oh little groats, grow for me quick

because I'm getting married and have no time

Little groats, oh little groats

I won't weave a wreath from you anymore.

Oh little groats

it's the last time

my hand is pleating you with rosemary flower.

– Bring the horses to the carriage quickly!

Horses already harnessed but they still dress up Mary.

Wear the Turkish skirt, Mary, and the silver belt.

Hurry up for wedding dear Miss Mary,

for your wedding.

Harness those dark horses to the carriage

Hurry up, comely Miss Mary, harry up.

We will go, with you in a groat wreath,

to another land.

Harness all the horses! We'll bring their birth certificates!

Love... love me, my Love, my Love do love, love me do!

We'll go to Powidz city, we'll get married there.

Tell me, girl, tell me what you should have said.

If only my heart knew you'd steal it away

Tell me, girl, tell me

should I announce our engagement now?

Or is there someone else...?

– We love each other like pair of a love birds

Those who would separate us

God will punish.

Hazel is humming Girl is crying

She was crying so loud finally the boy she got.

She was crying so loud coz, finally, the boy she got.

Hazel was humming

when they rub it

Girl was crying

during the wedding.

Girl was crying

during the wedding.

The hazel was humming

and it'll hum even more,

the girl was crying

and she'll cry even more.

The girl was crying

and she will cry more.

There was a forge in the village

and in this forge

the blacksmith's hammer forges gold rings

for young Johnny's wedding

slowly... slowly...

THE BALLAD OF A YOUNG GIRL FROM PODOLE

There is a white rock in Podole

There is a white rock in Podole... young girl sits on it.

Sitting she weaves wreath

from groat stems and lilies.

Young boy from Podole came to her:

"Girl from Podole, give me your wreath!"

She said "I would give you even two, but I'm affraid of what my brother do"

"Poison your brother" he said "and you'll have me instead!".

"If knew how to poison him I'd do it, God forgive me".

"In a cherry orchard there find yourself a green snake".

"Slice it very thin, very tender cook it"

"Dip it in a honey well, serve it to your brother"

Brother comes back from Sunday Mass "What's for dinner, sister?" asks.

Once he ate it he got thirsty "Sister, sister, t'was too spicy!"

She went to cellar, brought him wine "Drink it, you'll feel fine"

He drink glass after glass until he dropped "Sister, sister, I can't feel my gut!"

"My sister, you've poisoned me!" he groans, "You're just drunk" she says in angry tone.

Wrote a letter girl from Podole to her lover: "My brother is in heavens. Come over!"

However it was for her a big surprise what Boy from Podole wrote her in reply:

"If you could poison your own brother nothing would stop you from poisoning a lover"

To the brother's salvation church bell tolls while they carry his sister to the gallows pole.

Carpenters are sitting in their workshops,

carpenters are sitting in their workshops

they are singing about this brother

they are singing story of her brother.

"Kill me now, I rather be dead than listen to this song!" she said.

How NFL rule changes made linemen gigantic - Duration: 2:41.

Today's football players are huge.

It's easy to see the difference when you look at modern players versus the old-school

players side by side.

This is William Heffelfinger.

In 1892, he became the first person to be paid to play football.

And he's a decently big guy: 6' 4", 178 pounds.

But compare that to players today, and he looks tiny.

Take the New England Patriots' Alan Branch — 6' 6'', 350 pounds.

Or the Atlanta Falcons' Jake Matthews — 6' 5'', 309 pounds.

Back in 1970, only one NFL player weighed over 300 pounds.

By 1980, there were three.

By 1990, 94.

By 2000, 301.

And in training camps in 2010, 532 players weighed over 300.

These charts by Alex Bresler show the change in NFL players' height and weight

from 1936 until 2013.

Over time, players got taller and heavier on average.

Notice that while most positions had a slow increase in weight, these two skyrocketed.

Those are the offensive and defensive linemen, the guys that ram into each other at the start

of each play.

You can think of it as a kind of weight class specialization happening over time based on

player positions.

Receivers and the guys who guard them need to be fast down the field, while the linemen

are basically sumo wrestlers trying to either block or buy time

for the players moving the ball.

That size specialization probably had to do with the ways the rules have changed over

time.

Before the 1950s, substitutions were limited, so players played multiple positions, offense

AND defense.

That discouraged specialization.

And then in the 1970s, blocking below the waist became illegal, which basically moved

offensive line action above the waist.

Before that, if linemen were too top-heavy, they would be more vulnerable to "old-school"

blocking techniques that would knock out their knees.

On top of that, new training and dieting practices have helped players get bigger and stronger

more efficiently.

These heavy players are still really athletic.

But the rapid increase in weight comes with some serious health concerns.

A government study in 1994 found that NFL linemen face a substantially higher risk of

dying of heart disease — 52 percent higher than the general population and three times

the risk compared to other NFL players.

And a 2008 study found that retired linemen were almost twice as likely to have metabolic

syndrome, which includes a bunch of risk factors like obesity and high blood pressure.

That makes them a lot more likely to suffer from heart disease and diabetes down the road

than non-linemen.

So yes, many players have gotten bigger as the game of football has evolved.

And they've helped their teams by bulking up, but it does come at a price.

Отношения в Южной Корее: Любовь и Предкрассудки | ❤ 사랑스러운 사이 - 연애? - Duration: 12:19.

Hi Guys)

Today we will talk about Love Relationships)

What is true? and about what they not talk?)

Lets start

Of coz they all already growing up on TVDorama.

And the most part of their education is based on Dorama and what parents told.

And here we can divide them into 2 categories

The Conservative education. And more Americanized kind of education.

there so there is more free relationships

and more closed!

There is all that HERE.

but let's start by the list

First relationship, of coz, start in the school.

Like at time of the middle and slowly go the the Hight school.

and if everything goes well, then they go getter to University and so on and so on.

But, the biggest amount of experience they get at the time of school.

Because can not get three 1 week or 2 together (of coz they not just study in the school)

They oftenly change there their passion and loved ones.

with all that boy and even not one, will fight for his love

He will write love letter, poems

and will be a knight for her

and all that coz of dissertation to hold her hand,

Kiss her to the check or KISS her.

But flowing to the hight school relationship lilbit get grow.

and a lot of them slowly start to date more the week or two

Uhuu~

And if happens that kind of thing

between СС or ССС

and first is a couple inside on one school

Second is a couple inside of one school and class.

yap

if they date more then 2 weeks

The first gift that boy give,

is 2000 won.

it is cost of the much in school (kind of).

if they held for a month and still not breakup.

Or they grow over the 3 month of relationship after a lot of trails.

Here we will have and oder an a COUPLE RINGS.

And of coz in the hight school who not tryout an a Video.DV Room?

They not talk about that))))

In institute everyone get blowed heads outs))).

They start to hangout and party life.

Becoz they can, becoz they want and be coz WHY NOT.

It is not about Conservative educate ppl!

Here we start to met that kind of means like Hotel, Motel, One time, Was Drunk and Why not.

But girls we never in her life will not admit it.

Im wait and flashy. No no no

and as you can uderstand, girls here almost have biggest match with girls from dorama.

It is a rare occasion when a girl, really, just good~

She was have had different education from others kind of European or eals.

What we can't say about boys.

Don't wait from them a dorama character.

Just don't. They will be like that in case the want you or impress you.

But not more then that (well kind of).

It can be, but it si sooooo slam present of real Guys like that

which is really just a well-educated.

Or it's just a good guy, but sooner or later he will be tired

And while his character in real.

Like any other guy, thought.

In general, the first date for any couple is 100 days.

For many bad guys it is «we finally go to the motel»

and for other it is «finally we have moved to a new lvl»

and we buy an a couple ring

which, i think strange, they put on this hand (right)

and marriage is put on this (left)

Now you know on what hand to look to check out and not get in trouble.

But let's get back to relationships.

They move to a new lvl, a new feeling))

Cohabitation here isn't good no no.

They not do it here (well not all but some)

The only thing they can afford in that case of moral is Hotel, motel and vacations.

And yes, they followers of long time relationships.

There so that kind of app like Between or Couplet in big use here.

It is kid of app when between couple build an a share acount

whee hey can share calendar, schedule things,

girls make there there period

Gether ideas for a date or elas

photo album

privet chatroom

and Im not talk about other small things

Cam Use COULET app.

Im comfy with them

We can mark there out period days - and HE CAN SEE TAHT))))

It helps by the way.

You also can mark an a days of «LOVE»)

a lot of ppl use old fashion style thing)

like cute diary, journal and so on.

Most of them comply with such things as 100 days, 300 days,

600 days, 1,000 days, the first day we met,

Anniversary, 14th number - if someone does not know I leave here a link)

And much more

Mostly they do all of that, but with time, of coz, lilbit change their relations.

That MEGA super romanticism side lil by lil go for the simple life (like everyone in the world)!

The only one thing that not change in the GIRL is her EGYEO

by which she get all

This psychological pressure and thrilled for guys.

Those. is this is

*preperation*

Old brother

buy it)

TO MUCH

It is Really bust with that, but guys love it

They are carried out by - lovely, white and fluffy girl

Even if she not lovely, white and fluffy. Watever.

They will buy it

The main thing is not hits the bar, be coz sooner or later it will get bored (and someone do not like)

Especially here in Busan.

I noticed that, depending on the city, attitudes are also changing!

In Seoul, more dorama hysterical ppl - I'm SORRY dear!

For a week in Seoul I have had see 3 breakups.

here (in Busan) for 3 years - I saw the 1 or 2.

And it was not like *Seoul tantrums Drama* SORRY

*You dump me*

NO.

It was something like *Busan style* - You dump ME!??!!!!!!

Character everywhere completely different!

Education of coz too.

People are also different.

there so attitude and behavior will be different.

There is some kind of BASE

But in each city it will still change

And unfortunately the BGEST MINUS to all Asian's (sorry guy's)!!!

Including Koreans!

They «love» …. with out… protaction.

My Dear friends!

No matter how cute and teddy idol you have right now on you knees (if it is not real one IDOL ^^)

and nicely whispering to you lovely ears wonderful romantic dramat postulates

don't give them with out protection!

no no no

believe me (no offense - please)

you don't want to have some «bacteria» (sorry, but health is first).

Most of korean becomes a trend now on « I want an a Foreign GF»

and, unfortunately, in most cases they think «Foreinger girl easily to get»

there so I want that girls

This not only in the 80s of the last century started.

It continued last year when was the influx of tourists

and Girls have those collections

and make not really nice picture(

and after we show why is it so

unfortunately the way we do thing and show ourselves

make for them that kind of base of thoughts

because they, like any other man has a concept of the kind of girl: easy,

not easy, proud, not proud

and whether it makes sense to spend your precious time on her.

Here it also is. She gave herself to touch

Let into their personal space? aha

I can kiss her.

She gave herself a kiss within 3 days?

That's it!

I'm in for a week (or even less) will «achieve» her.

Need to put more drama.

take a place of OPPA

and everything will be COOL!

Then do not be surprised why, after the first night,

He then disappears (fast or slowly).

It does not matter really where you met him.

In Bar and Club you can found and met absolutely NICE and GOOD PERSON!

Yes, of course, the Koreans will never be recognized if they met somewhere in the plasma arc spot.

They will build a beautiful story

But you really can met a good ppl there.

All went to have some fun!

Everyone need to stress out!

it is OK.

So How should I put ourself?

do not let her in private "life" and the space right away!

do not just show your body so easily!

We have a good body from the nature!

white skin and BIG Eyes!

Even Asians)))

We can dress so nicely to show our nature body curves))

Not need to show it from the start.

Why? it is interesting!!

What is there? (Sexy point is the best)

Give them that kind of coded sexy riddle!

fashionably dressup

You going to the club - OK

Put a beautiful blouse, which will vest covering your beauty "soul"

But it will be like a clear!)))

And they are to be "ooh, what is there mmm"

The more you cover (and build sexy riddle's) the more they want to see

the more they want to discover!

The less you talk about you self, then more they want to know)))

To have you heart)

Well to keep yourself sexy and beautiful with less body and mind revile is a talent.

I understand when you get here it is start to drooling - OMG I want them ALL!

I want ALL!

Control yourself together (difficult but possible)

You exclusive here!

Beautiful picture about «Russian» still not built.

Yes they read Tolstoy, Pushkin, Lermantove

Where wonderful girls of noble institutions appear before them

And wha hey see in Real? «Russian» cramping on the dance floor. (yes we can)

easy meat!

Hold ON! Don't get Discourage or get you face «dirty»

we do not require as much compared with Koreans (and our EGYEO is different - sexy)

Yes we can start to be a like, after a lot of dorama, and start to act a like

but not more then korean - noo))) (sorry)

there's even a small spot on the blouse, the whole hysteria begins

and we are like - ow, dean, have to laundry.

She already tell to him all to the face and get out!!

and you sit and look like he try to get that dirt from your close with fear in eyes -

like - she will kill me and start to hysteric!!

And you like - wood, he try to help with that wow! (cute)

So where you can find koreans?

on FACEBOOK

no need to go to the deep korean internet to find them

they already a long time on Facebook.

and in Instagram.

there is a huge number of people have already.

You want have a Seogeting and you Korean friends don't help with that?

It is setup by the friends or blind date.

There is APPs for that

They are bolted to the Korean phone.

MINUS - if you pair there 80% ppl who will write to you

want you for ONE NIGHT - because you exclusive. Wow I want to try.

And a lot of you then will ask then why their relationship is so long time goes?

and why they arrange a tantrum when I hear that a year or two can leave.

Well, as you know they are followers of a long relationship.

Firstly they did not cohabit (and it is take a time to know each other with out that part)

Second, long-term relationship for them are the norm.

before they get married.

nd marriage age they start somewhere in the region of 30ti

so the relationship in the 3, 4 or 7 years, it is absolutely normal before they get married

it is rare case if they get married with in one Year!

But do not forget that the influence of parents, here is the place to be.

If you are still not in a relationship and you have a friendly meeting with the couple,

and God forbid you give passion to eat something

or you show some kind of care to him or in that direction!

no no, it is kind of betrayal!

If I, for instance, she made overtures to a man (even friendly),

uuuuuu, fiery glance is less than that can you get from her.

plus you spoil their relationship at least.

the girls here are very strict monitoring the boys (and other way too)

up to monitoring phone.

But there is a bad girl and bad boys!

DAMP, CHET, And have more the one GF or BF.

And much more - in the drama, or worst - probably.....

Well, now you are aware of what is the relationship.

what it represents, in principle, all of it.

where to find the Koreans that are for application - I left them in the description below the video.

Well, now you are armed.

You now know)

Do not forget to put this video Thumbs up.

Subscribe to my channel) Until next time - bye bye!

Hmm, God forbid, he will talk to someone on the phone and there will be a female voice

nya

yah~!

23 Things You Didn't Know About CALL OF DUTY!!! - Duration: 10:21.

Hello how are you guys doing today my name is black tarzan and today we are going to

be talking about the top 23 facts about call of duty!

Coming Up!

Guys before I start off the video I would just like to everyone watching this video

right now to subscribe to my youtube channel!

Join the black tarzan army today!

Anway, let's get right into the video!

We rack off ten incredible facts that even the most diehard Call of Duty fans may not

know.

Millions of gamers have come to love the Call of Duty franchise, which shouldn't come

as much of a surprise.

The Call of Duty titles have revolutionized the way we play FPS shooters, and have delivered

some of the most incredible story campaigns, and shocking moments.

Whether you're a diehard fan or even a casual player, here are ten amazing Call of Duty

facts that we bet you didn't know!

1.

Cancelled Call of Duty titles.

We previously covered the top five cancelled Call of Duty titles, which included Call of

Duty: Tactics, Call of Duty: Devil's Brigade, Call of Duty: Vietnam, Call of Duty: Combined

Forces and Call of Duty: Roman Wars.

One of the most surprising things about all of these cancelled Call of Duty titles is

the fact that none of them are set in the future.

It's possible that over the next several years, the Call of Duty franchise may continue development

on one or more of these cancelled titles, which would be great news for the Call of

Duty community.

2.

Call of Duty Makes More More Money Than Hollywood.

Despite the community's concerns that the Call of Duty series is in decline, the franchise

is still hitting record numbers that even Hollywood can't accumulate.

In fact, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 grossed a staggering $755 million in the first five

days of its release, which is three times the amount that Star Wars: The Force Awakens

generated in the same amount of time.

The Call of Duty series may be starting to lose sales, but it's no secret that the franchise

can make more money than even the biggest Hollywood blockbusters.

3.

100 Million Call of Duty Players.

In 2014, Call of Duty released a fact sheet of information about the Call of Duty franchise

and it stated that over 100 million people have played Call of Duty at least once in

their lifetime.

To put those numbers into perspective, 100 million people is more than the population

of several countries (even combined).

For example, the United Kingdom has a population of only 70 million.

4.

Call of Duty Propaganda Video.

Believe it or not, North Korea used footage from Modern Warfare in an anti-USA propaganda

video.

To be more specific, North Korea used Modern Warfare 3 footage from its reveal trailer

to demonstrate the U.S under attack.

The video titled "We Are The World" seems to show a nuclear rocket circling the world

before eventually blowing up New York City.

5.

Call of Duty Boosts Music Sales.

The Rolling Stones are one of the UK's most successful bands, but when the launch trailer

of the first Call of Duty: Black Ops released, The Rolling Stones noticed a massive increase

in their sale numbers due to the game's usage of their song.

Although a predicted number of increased sales cannot be determined, The Rolling Stones nevertheless

saw their record sales skyrocket after the first Black Ops trailer, which is pretty impressive!

6.

Infinity Ward Worked on Medal of Honor.

Before Infinity Ward began development on the Call of Duty franchise, the team previously

worked on Medal of Honor Allied Assault.

After EA's frustration with Infinity Ward not meeting deadlines, EA decided that they

would prefer Medal of Honor to be developed by them, instead of a difference development

team.

This left Infinity Ward out of a job, so they decided to approach Activision to develop

a new first person shooter, thus creating the phenomenon of Call of Duty.

In fact, Infinity Ward hated EA so much that the developing game (Call of Duty) had the

working title "Medal of Honor Killer".

7.

Call of Duty Developer Spark Unlimited.

At one point in time, Spark Unlimited was going to be Call of Duty's third gaming developer.

The chance to become a developer for the Call of Duty franchise was given to Spark Unlimited

with Call of Duty: Finest Hour.

Call of Duty: Finest Hour was a success, but unfortunately Activision decided not to continue

working with the development team as they went over budget by $2.7 million.

Finest Hour was to be followed by Call of Duty: Combined Forces but when Spark Unlimited

was fired, the title was cancelled.

8.Call of Duty Red Carpet Premiere.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was one of the first gaming titles to ever received a

red carpet premiere.

The Modern Warfare 2 premiere took place in London's Leicester Square and was a massive

success.

Fans of the Call of Duty series even had the opportunity to meet some of the voice actors

from the game including Bill Murray and Kevin McKidd.

9.

Call of Duty Reference To The Rock.

Modern Warfare 3 featured an exact replica of the bathroom from The Rock.

It's not entirely clear why the developers thought of adding this into their game, but

it's a nice touch and a very cool fact.

10.

Call of Duty's Most Controversial Scene In Gaming History.

Modern Warfare 3 features one of the most controversial missions in gaming history...

"No Russian".

The mission allows players to take part in an act of terror by shooting hundreds of civilians,

although shooting civilians is optional in the game, media and game critics were outraged.

This mission was so controversial that in some countries including Germany and Japan,

the mission was removed from the game.

11.

Modern Warfare 3 made $775 million in its first five days.

That's far more than 'Avatar,' the current highest grossing movie, did.

12.

Gamers play almost 2000 years of Call of Duty a day.

13.

North Korea used Morden Warfare 3 footage in an anti-USA propaganda video.

14.

The German and Japanese versions Of Modern Warfare 2 won't let you harm civilians.

15.

Over five billion cars have been destroyed in the Call Of Duty games.

16.

There are less stars in the Milky Way than there are shots being fired in Call of Duty

games.

17.

Call of Duty's daily players could fill 80 of the world largest sport stadiums.

18.

Throughout the different Call of Duty games, players see teddy bears randomly placed in

the scenes.

19.

When you put all the time spent by Call of Duty players around the world together, it

equals up to around 2.85 million years playing.

20.

There was almost a trading card game.

Even though this never saw the light of day, it's definitely something interesting to think

about.

Upper Deck Entertainment was set to introduce the world to a two-player game that would

see players deploy soldiers from your deck and applying action cards to determine how

the soldiers would interact with the battlefield.

Although there was a decent amount of attention and interest, sadly Upper Deck cancelled the

project before it's expected 2008 release.

21.

Create-a-class was inspired by a board game.

David Vonderhaar admitted in an interview with Polygon, that the create-a-class element

introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was inspired by the tile-based game, Carcassonne.

Vonderhaar had the development team attempt to create loadouts of guns and skills out

of a card based system before evolving into the pre-match menu system we know now.

This inspiration would lead to the massive multiplayer overhaul that has become such

a prevalent aspect of the online match-making.

22.

We've all probably had all-nighters while playing Call of Duty, but one player from

Australia set a Guiness World Record for his gaming session.

Okan Kaya, in November 2012, set the new world record for gaming marathon at 135 hours and

50 minutes.

Okan was allowed to take a 10 minute break for every hour of gameplay, and accumulated

those breaks for a nearly seven hour nap.

During this session, Okan was able to rise to 37th place in the global Black Ops 2 leaderboard.

23.

There was a research study published in Current Biology, that claimed there was a connection

in decision making skills and playing action-shooters like Call of Duty.

In the study the researchers noted that the reaction speed in gamers between 18 to 25

years old was much faster if they played Call of Duty rather than strategic games like The

Sims.

Call of Duty utilizes frantic action and high-pressure scenarios which wound up resulting in noticeably

faster decision making through the study.

How to Create an Effective Budget using Google Sheets - Duration: 9:26.

Hello, in this video we'll be creating an

effective budget using Google Sheets

Google Sheets is a web-based spreadsheet

application similar to Microsoft Excel

we're using Sheets because it's free and

doesn't require you to download and

install any software. Please feel free to

use Excel or your spreadsheet

application of choice as the exercises

we'll be performing should work in them as well

In order to follow along with this

tutorial you'll need the following things;

a gmail or google email account, a list of

your weekly, monthly and yearly expenses,

a track record of your spending for, at

least, the last week and it'll help if

you got some spreadsheet experience as well

For this tutorial, I'll be using an

example household with two income

earners, each with a salary of $36k

after tax, this will give them a

combined total household income of $72k

In order to get started, let's firstly go

through to google.com, you'll want to sign

into your Google account, then Google or

look up "spreadsheet", go to Google's link for

their spreadsheet application and finally

create a new spreadsheet

Let's do that now

[Go to google.com]

[Sign into your Google account]

[Google or look up "spreadsheet"]

[Click on Google's link for their spreadsheet app]

[Create a new spreadsheet]

Before we begin, here's a quick preview

of what will be making. The Blue section

is a list of all of our expenses ordered

from the top down by yearly, monthly and

weekly amounts. They've been calculated into

fortnightly amounts for my 52-week savings

program. The colored sections indicate

the amount entered as is whereas the

grey boxes have been adjusted. The Red

section is a list of all the bank

accounts we'll be distributing our funds into

There's two expense accounts; one for weekly,

fortnightly and monthly payments and the

other is for yearly payments. Below

the experiences you'll see there's four

savings accounts. The percentage for how

much each account gets adds up to a

hundred percent. The total percentage of

the savings accounts get is based on the

remainder of any funds after all

expenses have been accounted for

Finally, the Green section is a list of

all income sources. For our example, it is

our two income earners. You can see how much

they both get as weekly or fortnightly

amounts. Now that you've seen what we'll

be making let's get started. We'll begin

by adding our headers starting with

Budget for the whole page, then the Blue

section, Green section and Red section

Under the Green section for Income

Sources you'll want to put "Earner #1"

and "Earner #2"

Both of our income earners get $45,000

before tax. The value that you enter into this field can

be turned into a currency value just by

clicking the dollar sign in the menu

likewise the Tax Rate can be adjusted

into a percentage value by clicking the percentage sign

in the menu as well

The Tax Amount is a formula based on

the value in the Before Tax times [multiplied] by the

Tax Rate Amount. To do this you type in

equals then select the first value Before

Tax, the symbol for times [*] and then the

second value for the Tax Rate

Press enter

The After Tax value is a similar

formula. In this case you'll type in equals,

then select the value for Before Tax and

minus it by the Tax Amount. Repeat the

process for Earner #2. For our

example we only have two sources of

income but you could add additional

sources of income depending on your

circumstances

Let's leave a few blank spaces and

we're going to add up the total of our

sources of income. The best way to do

that is to do a SUM formula. What we'll

do is we'll type in equals, then we'll type in

SUM and then within brackets you'll want

to select the rows that you'll want the

total of. Do that now. We're going to call

this value Total Income After Tax

Next we're going to work out our Weekly Income

which is a formula based on our Total

Income After Tax value divided by 52

or 52-weeks. The Fortnightly Income value is

based on the Weekly Income value times

by two. This completes our exercise for

the Green section. Now we're going to

move back to the Blue section and

enter in our expenses

Once you've got all your expenses listed

then you'll want to reorder them starting

with the yearly expenses grouped at the

top, followed by the monthly expenses

grouped in the middle and the weekly

expenses group at the bottom. For my example

I've listed two savings funds in within the

expenses. You may have a similar

situation. For the fields that don't

already have values in them you can

calculate them like so;

where there is a Monthly value then

Yearly value can be entered in as the

Monthly value times by 12, where there's a

Yearly value but no monthly value then

the Monthly value can be calculated by the

Yearly value divided 12, where there's a

Monthly value but no Weekly value then

Weekly value can be calculated by the

Monthly value times by 12 divided by 52

and when there's a Weekly value but no Fortnightly

value it is the Weekly value times by 2

We can calculate the total of all expenses

by Yearly, Monthly, Weekly and Fortnightly by

using the SUM formula

and we can calculate how much we've got

left over for our savings by minusing [subtracting]

the Weekly or Fortnightly Expense

Amounts from the Weekly or Fortnightly

Income Amount. And that completes

this exercise for the Blue section

And finally, the Red section and that's

where you'll manage your funds transferring

either between a Check/Cheque or Savings account

For my budget, I have two Expense

accounts; one which handles my Weekly,

Fortnightly and Monthly expenses and a

separate one which handles my Annual

payments. To calculate what your total

should be between the two types of

Expense accounts, you'll just do a SUM of

the Yearly fields and then a separate

SUM for the non-Yearly fields. The total

of these two fields should be the same

as the one above, giving you the total of

your expenses. Next we'll want to work out

what we want to save towards. For my

example, I've got four savings accounts this

makes it easier to calculate a

percentage by. For example, for our four Savings

accounts you could divide it by

twenty-five percent each. You can of

course have more or less just as long as

the total equals a hundred percent

You'll notice that I've added some

percentage values starting with 50%, 20%, 20%

and 10% all of which add up to a

hundred percent. These are the percentage

values I want to use based on the

remainder for the Savings Amounts so to

do the calculation we'll enter equals

then the Remainder for the Savings Amount

times by the percentage value. The sum

of these should equal the Remainder of

the Savings Amount. And finally, we'll

want to add the Expenses Total plus the

Savings Total and then you should have

the same amount as the Income Total

If these values don't match then you may

have an error in one of your formulas

please review them again

To summarize, this is what each of the

sections do; the Green section shows

money going into your household while

the Blue section [generally] shows money going out of

the household and then finally the Red

section is how you manage your funds by

transferring from one account and into the other

This should give you a good picture of

your overall situation and if you find a

discrepancy with your numbers you may

have an expense you're not accounting for or some

of your numbers may be lower than what

they actually are so you'll want to review

those again. Once you've got an accurate picture

of your experiences and how you're

handling your funds then you can make

adjustments as needed. And that completes

this tutorial for Creating an Effective

Budget using Google Sheets. I hope you

enjoyed it, I'd appreciate your feedback

in the comments section below. My name is

Clifton please Like, Follow and Subscribe

to my YouTube channel which is 52WeekHSC

I also have a Facebook, Twitter and Instagram account

and I'll see you in the next video. Bye
