Youtube daily report w Feb 9 2017

My name is Rajat

I am a citizen

of settlement number 122

of this great republic

my entire life is planned out for me

I always know what to do,

and how to do it

I don't ask

I don't question

I just do

For this is my home

and Big Brother

my leader

he loves me

And I, I love Big Brother

He watches over us

his cameras

his guards teaching us drills to protect us

always watching

always seeing

always caring

with his elite guard, the thought police

he ensures our safety

protecting us from all those evils out there

and even from ourselves

Because I, I love Big Brother

and I am privileged

to be a part of his great ideas

of this settlement

And I am proud to work for him

I remember

the stories that people tell us about the floods

back when there was no food

no water

no jobs, no money

I have a job

I'm happy here

I have my friends

I have a good life

and it's all thanks to big brother

He made this possible for us... For me

I started off as a soldier

And I rose my ranks

now I sit in the office

to spread the message

of the great nation that is Big Brother

And then that day

everything changed

All the citizens of settlement 122 are requested to move to the assembly hall

I repeat

All the citizens of settlement 122 are requested to move to the assembly hall

It has been 60 years to the day when our world was lifted from darkness.

The world that you see now, was very different

to the one we inherited after the great flood

The great flood put us on the course to extinction

God's unrelenting wrath

It was at these times of high peril

that our greatest savoiur

Big Brother

challenged the gods

He brought us together, unified as one people

He dragged us, from the cusp of extinction

to a new era of peace and harmony

We all, owe our very existence, to Big Brother

And yet

there are some heretics

these ungrateful savages who ask

why are we being watched?

Why the cameras

It's because Big Brother has a plan for us all

we are all, cogs of Big Brother's supreme mission,

a part of his great vision of the future.

So don't question, don't love, don't hate, just do.

Remember, Big Brother loves you

I can't believe I heard Big Brother speak

No it wasn't Big Brother, Was it?

Probably one of his thought police

But the speech

It inspired me. I really think

That we should work harder

Do what Big Brother..

..wait..

..oh..

what is this?

A book lying around

Mandak?

Freedom?

Interesting.

I should have a look at this

And.. those

3 seconds of my life

I will never forget

I faltered

For once, my entire life

I faltered

I allowed myself to think

I allowed myself to believe

There was something other than big brother

When I opened that book

Loads of memories, thoughts

of another person

burned through my head

filled it with ideas

Impure. But real

I could feel it

I could see it, in front of my eyes

the world changing, becoming colour ful

At first I could never believe what I

read.

How could I trust the words of an absolute stranger,

compared to big brother,

the person who loved me.

whose benevolence made us

weather many astorm.

his authority.

How could I question him?

Could I?

Could there really be a world

where people are not bound by servitude?

A world, where the only master one obeys

is their own free spirit?

Isn't this far too good a realm

One too eutopian to ever exist,

and yet it did

, as this book so wehemently claims?

Big brother warned us of such a world.

Yes, he called it the Devil's Garden.

- An unruly world,

where people are free to do whatever they wish.

He called them the 'Cursed People',

infested with grotesque of diseases,

and god's righteous judgement that is imposed upon them.

Who dares to break the chains of Servitude?

Big Brother has told us,

that war is peace, freedom is slavery, and knowledge is ignorance.

If this world is so doomed,

w.. why?

why am I fascinated by it?

Why do I feel happy..

..here?

Why does everybody..

.. feel so happy?

Maybe.

Just maybe,

big brother is wrong.

What if, it's not a devil's garden.

But an angel's refuge in disguise.

There was no flood,

we were never rescued by big brother.

It is he who's the Devil.

And our servitude, the disease.

We must rip the chains of our servitude,

and fight for our freedom.

No, Not 'we' .. I

I..I shall fight for our freedom.

I shall tell everyone

of this world

A world where we were all free.

I have to.

*door knock*

*door knock*

*punches*

I woke up to see four faces staring at me.

Mocking me.

Mocking me about freedom.

And questioning me why will I ever want such a thing.

And then, telling me

why would I leave the beautiful life that I have here.

Asking me why I'd leave the comfort of Big Brother

, and run to a value of freedom,

and some stupid ideal that I believed in.

I told them

I stood up and said

It's because I believe in a world

where everyone can run on their own free will

I believe in no servitude

I would tell them.

They couldn't care less.

They

were very clear

that everything

that we do,

is the result of Big Brother.

Our food, our Money

everything is Big Brother's doing.

Without Big Brother,

we are nothing.

Without Big Brother,

no matter how much freedom

Freedom will not give us food.

Freedom will not care for us.

ever.

And I sat there

contemplating what they had said.

I still wanted freedom.

I realised something that Big Brother had managed to do.

He made me question myself

The cleansing room served

a far worse purpose than I did think it did serve.

It wasn't merely a physical torture room.

But a mental one.

Because, the moment you can control a person's mind,

you can control entire communities,

cities.

That's how big brother does it.

He was able

to rip the idea of Freedom out of my head.

It was..

It was just impractical for me.

Because I needed to survive.

And because at the end of the day,

two plus two is not necessarily four.

Thought Police: What is two plus two?

Protagonist: Five

Thought Police: So, Who's next?

Trump's conflicts are unprecedented, but not unique A short history of Republican corruption - Duration: 4:56.

Trumps conflicts are unprecedented, but not unique A short history of Republican corruption.

President Trumps conflicts of interest are so vast and ubiquitous (and transparent)

that it has almost become a platitude just to mention them at this point.

Everyone with common sense knows that Trumps separation from his multi-billion dollar business

currently being run by his children, who are in regular contact with their father is

a charade.

Yet only Democrats (and a tiny handful of principled Republicans) seem to care in Washington.

Trumps dissociation from his business is analogous to the farce of modern campaign

finance law, in which political campaigns are technically prohibited from coordinating

with corporate-funded Super PACs, yet do it with impunity because Republican commissioners

on the FEC refuse to enforce the law.

In a speech at the Brookings Institution last month, Walter M. Shaub Jr., director of the

Office of Government Ethics, asserted that Trump stepping back from running his business

is meaningless from a conflict of interest perspective, and that limiting direct

communication about the business is wholly inadequate.

Theres not supposed to be any information at all.

According to a recent New York Times report, however, it turns out that Trump isnt limiting

direct communication as much as he had suggested.

The president will receive reports on any profit, or loss, on his company as a whole,

write Times reporters Susanne Craig and Eric Lipton, and can revoke the authority of his

eldest son and his CFO, Allen H. Weisselberg, at any time. In addition, the purpose

of the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust is to hold assets for the exclusive benefit

of the president.

So Trumps separation from his business empire is even more of a farce than previously

thought.

It would be naive to expect Republican politicians to change their tune in the near future.

The GOPs attitude towards corruption was made clear last month when Shaubs uncontroversial

remarks cited above, which only stated the obvious, prompted Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah,

who chairs the House Oversight Committee and who never flinched at investigating the exaggerated

misdeeds of Hillary Clinton to threaten an investigation of Shaub himself, rather

than the president.

It should be obvious by now that opposing corruption has become a partisan issue in

Washington, and that the vast majority of Republicans simply do not care about people

in power breaking the law unless, of course, such people happen to be Democrats.

Some liberals and Independents have been shocked at how shamelessly Republicans appear to disregard

the endless conflicts of interest and open corruption of the new president.

They shouldnt be.

Republicans have long been tolerant of powerful elites breaking the law in government

and the private sector just as they have long been receptive to alternative facts.

A politician who lies as blatantly and frequently as Trump does could only succeed in a party

where falsehoods have become the rule, just as a politician as openly corrupt and hostile

to the rule of law as Trump is could only succeed in a party that has become completely

tolerant of corruption and unethical behavior by those in power.

With all this in mind, it is hardly surprising that the most corrupt and unscrupulous presidential

administrations in modern history have all been Republican.

Whenever political corruption is mentioned, of course, most Americans think of Richard

I am not a crook Nixon, likely the most corrupt and unprincipled man to ever sit in

the Oval Office (although the competition is fierce).

What most Americans dont know is that Ronald Reagans administration was just as corrupt,

if not more so, than Nixons.

As Haynes Johnson reported in his 1991 book, Sleepwalking Through History: America in

the Reagan Years:

By the end of his term, 138 Reagan administration officials had been convicted, had been indicted,

or had been the subject of official investigations for official misconduct and/or criminal violations.

In terms of numbers of officials involved, the record of his administration was the worst

ever.

Reagans customary response to instances of wrongdoing by aides was to criticize those

who brought the charges, or to blame the media that reported them.

That serves as a useful reminder that Republicans have been scapegoating the media for decades,

which has now culminated in Trumps war against press freedom and objective truth.

What is Velocity? | Physics Ep 4 - #sciencegoals - Duration: 6:36.

Galileo wanted to perform experiments.

Unlike those who came before him, he didn't want to just sit around and talk about how

objects moved.

He wanted to test how objects move and he built a ramp.

We wanted to explore motion with you so we built an even bigger one.

[Into Musics Josh Woodward]

Galileo made a ramp and rolled a metal ball down it at known intervals.

He timed the descents of the ball using a water clock.

He had a water clock with an upper vessel stream water into a lower vessel at a constant

rate.

Galileo measured the weight of the water on a scale.

He would look at the ratio between the weight of the water and how far the ball traveled.

He repeated his experiment many times and at various angles.

One version of his ramp had bells at set distances.

The sound of the bells signified the position of the ball on the ramp.

We created our own version using PVC pipe, vintage bike bells, clamps, bell holders,

and a ball bearing.

Instead of using a water clock, we used the sound sensor on the Science Journal app.

When a bell was rung, there was a spike on the graph.

Like Galileo we ran this experiment several times and at different angles.

What do you think the time difference was between each of the intervals?

What impact did the change in angle have on the recorded times?

On the bottom of the graph, we mark out our x-axis.

This is the time, which is our independent variable.

On the y-axis we marked out our dependent variable, which is the distance location for

each of the bells.

Each of the points represents a bell ringing.

The ball was in the upper segments for longer periods of time than the lower ones.

The higher the angle of the ramp, the less time the ball spent in each of the intervals.

This comparison of changes in POSITION over TIME is known as VELOCITY.

When you were thinking about how the ball's motion was changing down the ramp, you might

have described it as speeding up.

Speed is closely related to velocity.

Speed and velocity both tell you how quickly something is moving, but speed is a scalar

and velocity is a vector.

If you say you are moving 60 mph in a car, you are describing its speed.

If you say that is it moving 60 mph to the Northeast, then you talking about its velocity

because it now has a magnitude and direction.

Knowing the direction of velocity might seem useless when you are driving down the road.

Usually you are only concerned with the speed limit, which is a magnitude.

Orientation matters when you hit a patch of ice and now your car has motion in multiple

directions.

The direction velocity is pointing also matters when testing out its safety features.

If direction matters when dealing with velocity, why didn't we take the angle of the ramp

into account in our graphs?

As we stated in our position video, picking the proper location for a coordinate system

can simplify a problem.

Since the ball is only moving in one direction, we angled our coordinate system to align with

the angle of the ramp.

To find some actual velocity values we wanted the ball to be on a bigger ramp with lots

of sensors.

We constructed a 60 foot ramp.

We used 31 sets of break beam sensors.

These are the same sensors we used in our encoder videos.

They were placed every two feet along the ramp.

When the ball passed through a set of sensors, they read broken.

We wired all the sensors back to a power supply and Arduino Mega.

The mega used its onboard quartz clock to keep track of time and monitored the broken

and unbroken states of every pair of sensors.

Just like with the smaller ramp, the ball sped up as it went down.

The last two sections were kind of different kind, because the material material was different.

This slowed the ball down, which is why the curve dips down slightly after 40 feet.

We find the velocity of the ball through each section by subtracting the starting position

and time from the end position and time.

This is not a velocity of the ball at any given moment.

This is the average velocity of the ball moving through each given section.

The difference of position in the numerator is the displacement of the ball.

If your fitness tracker says you've biked 20 miles, this is the DISTANCE that you've

traveled.

Displacement is a vector, it is only concerned with where you started and stopped.

Since you started and ended at your house, your displacement is zero.

If you bike on a trail to a camp ground, distance takes into account all the twists and turns

along the way.

Displacement is just a line drawn from the start of the trail to the end of the trail.

You might have biked a distance 35 miles around on a winding trail, but your displacement

might only be 15 miles southwest.

Since it is a vector, it also needs direction.

Graphically we can find the velocity of the ball by drawing a line between each of the

data points.

The average velocity is drawn on the graph using secant line.

The instantaneous velocity is drawn on the graph by using a tangent line.

The slope of the secant is the average velocity the ball has traveled through any section.

The slope of the tangent at a point is the instantaneous velocity.

Since we need two points to define the slope of a line, we cannot use basic algebra to

find velocity at any point.

This is why the issue with finding instantaneous velocity was called the tangent problem and

it took Newton and Lebnitz discovering of calculus to solve it.

We are going to discuss this more in the next video when we talk about derivatives and instantaneous

velocity.

The only time that your average velocity and your instantaneous velocity are equal is when

you have a constant velocity.

Because this is represented with by a straight line.

t

We've used a variety of notation for velocity in the video.

Let's sort out the four main types that we've seen.

Velocity can be shown as a full vector quantity.

These notations have arrows, angles, are bold, or show all the components.

Velocity is sometimes only shown as a component.

Often you'll see it written as v sub x, v subscript y, or v subscript z. these are showing

you velocity in one particular direction.

In this video we used V sub x.

Average velocity is usually denoted with a bar over top, an AV subscript, or AVG subscript.

Instantaneous velocity can be shown as an initial velocity, as a final velocity, or

as a velocity at any given point.

The notation tell you what type of velocity we are working with.

Thank you to Google's making and Science team.

Without them we never would have been able to build a 60 foot ramp.

Sleeping with an onion feet brings many benefits, look!

Onions are rich in vitamins A and C, great for relief of bronchitis, colds

and colds.

It has an important flavonoid, which favors blood circulation. Its high content

silicon also prevents aging arteries and veins, and prevent thrombosis.

Sleeping with onion on the environment when flu, helps to get a better night's sleep.

Simply cut an onion and put on a plate next to the bed.

See why sleep with an onion feet

According to Asian medicine, the feet have big importance. Connecting them are

with all organs of the body. And stimulate some of these points, can cure pain.

It is believed that Indians have discovered The use of onion for treating rheumatism.

Therefore, it is recommended the use of onion as natural alternative to treat rheumatic pains,

arthritis and other related diseases.

Simply cut the red onion into slices. Place the sole of the foot and wearing a half by

above.

The ideal is to do on both feet, and during 5 nights. This phosphoric acid in

onion will stimulate, strengthen and detoxify the body through the nerve connections

we have the feet.

Furthermore onion has antibacterial properties and antivirals, this will make that germs and

bacteria are eliminated.

I could see it, in front of my eyes

the world changing, becoming colour ful

At first I could never believe what I

read.

How could I trust the words of an absolute stranger,

compared to big brother,

the person who loved me.

whose benevolence made us

weather many astorm.

his authority.

How could I question him?

Could I?

Could there really be a world

where people are not bound by servitude?

A world, where the only master one obeys

is their own free spirit?

Isn't this far too good a realm

One too eutopian to ever exist,

and yet it did

, as this book so wehemently claims?

Big brother warned us of such a world.

Yes, he called it the Devil's Garden.

- An unruly world,

where people are free to do whatever they wish.

He called them the 'Cursed People',

infested with grotesque of diseases,

and god's righteous judgement that is imposed upon them.

Who dares to break the chains of Servitude?

Big Brother has told us,

that war is peace, freedom is slavery, and knowledge is ignorance.

If this world is so doomed,

w.. why?

why am I fascinated by it?

Why do I feel happy..

..here?

Why does everybody..

.. feel so happy?

Maybe.

Just maybe,

big brother is wrong.

What if, it's not a devil's garden.

But an angel's refuge in disguise.

There was no flood,

we were never rescued by big brother.

It is he who's the Devil.

And our servitude, the disease.

We must rip the chains of our servitude,

and fight for our freedom.

No, Not 'we' .. I

I..I shall fight for our freedom.

I shall tell everyone

of this world

A world where we were all free.

I have to.

*door knock*

*door knock*

*punches*

I woke up to see four faces staring at me.

Mocking me.

Mocking me about freedom.

And questioning me why will I ever want such a thing.

And then, telling me

why would I leave the beautiful life that I have here.

Asking me why I'd leave the comfort of Big Brother

, and run to a value of freedom,

and some stupid ideal that I believed in.

I told them

I stood up and said

It's because I believe in a world

where everyone can run on their own free will

I believe in no servitude

I would tell them.

They couldn't care less.

They

were very clear

that everything

that we do,

is the result of Big Brother.

Our food, our Money

everything is Big Brother's doing.

Without Big Brother,

we are nothing.

Without Big Brother,

no matter how much freedom

Freedom will not give us food.

Freedom will not care for us.

ever.

And I sat there

contemplating what they had said.

I still wanted freedom.

I realised something that Big Brother had managed to do.

He made me question myself

The cleansing room served

a far worse purpose than I did think it did serve.

It wasn't merely a physical torture room.

But a mental one.

Because, the moment you can control a person's mind,

you can control entire communities,

cities.

That's how big brother does it.

He was able

to rip the idea of Freedom out of my head.

It was..

It was just impractical for me.

Because I needed to survive.

And because at the end of the day,

two plus two is not necessarily four.

Thought Police: What is two plus two?

Pope Francis Again Hammers Trump For His Hateful Policies - Duration: 4:46.

In his weekly Vatican address, Pope Francis once again took a shot at Donald Trump's xenophobic

and racist policies.

In this statement, Pope Francis said, and I quote, "A person who thinks only about building

walls wherever they may be and not building bridges is not Christian."

Those were the words used by Pope Francis.

"A person who thinks only about building walls and not about bridges is not a Christian."

That is about as forthright and angry, I guess, as a pope can be.

Pope Francis is trying to tell not just Americans but the entire world that Donald Trump does

not represent Christian values, and I know a lot of people obviously don't subscribe

to Christian values.

But what he's really trying to say here is just basic humanity.

Donald Trump is not a good person.

That's what Pope Francis is trying to tell us.

Anyone who invokes these exclusionary policies, has an exclusionary way of life where they

believe that one group of people is better than another group of people, they are not

good people.

They're not good human beings and they're certainly not good Christians if you happen

to subscribe to that particular religion.

But more importantly, Pope Francis has been coming out more and more in the last year

speaking directly against Donald Trump and there's no question that this quote, this

statement that he made about building walls, was directed at Donald Trump, the man who

literally campaigned on his desire to build a wall.

But that's something that people in the United States need to understand.

I think the rest of the world right now, I think they get it.

They're all laughing at us because we have President Donald Trump, but the people who

voted for Donald Trump, especially the ones who claim to believe in God, who claim to

follow Jesus, who claim to be Christians, you put in possibly the most unchristian human

being from the United States.

Christianity is not about building walls or persecuting other people for their religious

beliefs, or bullying people.

Christianity, at least New Testament Christianity, is about taking care of the less fortunate,

maybe providing people with healthcare who don't have healthcare, and hell, we all know

that Jesus went around healing the sick according to the New Testament.

Do you think he charged them?

Do you think they had to pay a co-pay?

Do you think he said, "Oh, I'm sorry, you have a preexisting condition.

I can't go heal you?"

That's what Pope Francis is trying to say.

Now, he's obviously a little bit more reserved, a little bit more professional, a little bit

more empathetic so he won't say this but I will.

Republicans in the United States do not have a heart.

Republicans in the United States do not care about anyone other than themselves.

Maybe they care about their kids if they have kids, doesn't seem like it, though.

That is at the root of what is making Pope Francis so angry.

I don't think it's going to change.

I think that the Republican party is what it is.

I think they've grown into this heartless, disgusting, soulless monster that just hates.

They just hate.

They hate people who are less fortunate, they hate people who have to live off of food stamps,

they hate people who work minimum wage jobs, they hate people who can't afford health insurance,

and there really is no clear reason why, other than the fact that if you're on food stamps

or if you can't afford health insurance, or if you can't afford to pay your bills for

a month or you can't afford pharmaceuticals, then obviously you can't afford to give any

money to a Republican campaign.

That's about the only explanation I can come up with as to why the Republican party is

just so full of hate today.

When You Speak Of Others, You Say More About Yourself Are You Ready To Get You Dirty Laundry Out - Duration: 2:42.

When You Speak Of Others, You Say More About Yourself Are You Ready To Get You Dirty Laundry

Out

By consciousreminder.

One day, at dusk, an old farmer sat down on the porch of his humble home, to enjoy the

cool breeze and the shade.

Right next to his house there was a path that led to the next village.

As he was enjoying the sunset, another man passed by his house, and when he saw the farmer,

he thought What a lazy man he doesnt work everything he does is sitting on

his doorstep and enjoying life.

A little later there was another passerby, who thought: This man looks like a Don

Juan to me.

He must be sitting there just to look at girls and try to seduce them.

Finally, there was a ranger traveling to the village who thought: This man is a hard

worker.

He worked hard all day and now he is enjoying his well deserved break.

This story has a powerful message to deliver, all we need to do is read between the lines.

In reality, we cant know much about the farmer who is sitting on his porch.

On the contrary, we can say a lot about the three people who were going to the village:

the first one is lazy, the second one is a womanizer, and the third person is a hard

worker.

The moral of this story is the following:

Everything we say we say about ourselves; especially when we talk about other people.

Projection is a defense mechanism through which people ascribe to the outside world

something that exists in their own inner world.

Next time be more careful when you talk about someone else; those words will probably say

a lot more about you than about the people you are talking about.

Are you ready to get your dirty laundry out?

4 Valentine's Day Tips From the Animal World! - Duration: 4:43.

Human behaviour is fascinating, and it's around this time of year – February 14 to

be precise – that homo sapiens in many countries engage in a curious ritual: the Valentine's

Day gift exchange.

Whether it be cards, chocolate, roses, plush toys, a love fern or diamonds (if you're

fancy or serious); they appear to be tokens aimed at acknowledging you, wooing you, keeping

you or just consumerist obligation.

But Homo sapiens aren't alone in giving gifts to their partners – we've observed

many animals act in the same way and bestow tokens of their affection to their bae.

Love gifts that are, arguably, better than roses.

#betterthanroses.

To the Adelie Penguin, pebbles are one of their most prized possessions.

Stones are in demand – the penguins use them to build nests and they're hard to

find on the Antarctic Coast.

The penguins often fight over them, and steal stones from each other's nests.

During courtship, a male penguin presents female with a pebble as a gift.

If she accepts his gift, they couple up and mate for life.

From an evolutionary biology perspective, we can look at these nuptial gifts through

the lens of Parental Investment Theory – effort parents go to that will benefit their offspring.

The male is providing a gift to a female that increases her "reproductive output" – the

gifts attract females and facilitate… some action.

And gifts are given elsewhere in the animal kingdom.

In Northern Australia and Papua New Guinea, male Bowerbirds build complex nests (or "bowers")

to try and woo females.

The nest is made mainly of sticks and decorated with whatever bling the male can find – shells,

flower petals and even bits of rubbish.

They're the ultimate hoarders who arrange their trinkets in a specific pattern to woo

the female into the bower – so they can see their swag before they reach the male

bird.

Research suggests the geometry of the bower is directly related to the mating success

of the builder – if built to give the correct perspective, the nest makes the male bird

appear bigger.

And well, that leads to more reproductive success.

Outside of the bird world, a species of South American spider gives love presents too.

Males offer female spiders an item of prey that's wrapped in silk.

And the larger the gift, the better their chance of mating.

Aside from the size of the dead insect, chemical signals found within the layer of silk influenced

whether the female would accept the gift.

Kind of romantic?

Even after you've found a partner and are no longer dating, the gifts don't have to

stop.

Take seahorses for example.

When courting, the male seahorses will fight for female attention, but once they've found

a mate is when the gift-giving really begins.

The females give their eggs to the males, who then fertilize them and carry the young

to term.

This means that the males, instead of the females like in most species, eventually give

birth to anywhere from 5 to 2500 baby seahorses, depending on the subspecies.

So you don't necessarily have to get your partner something expensive.

Sometimes the best gift is just doing something nice for them.

Back in the realm of Homo sapiens, economic research suggests that the materialistic tone

of Valentine's Day make it a holiday loved and a holiday loathed.

And psychology studies tracking couples throughout the year have found that relationships are

more likely to break up in the weeks following the holiday.

When all hope seems lost, thankfully, we have nature to turn to.

The giving and receiving of gifts is a ritual that takes place in all societies and even

the animal kingdom – just in different forms.

This year, consider the unique gifts of nice pebbles, a dead insect, carefully curated

rubbish or some shells; for a token of your appreciation truly inspired by nature.

It really is the thought that counts.

How Far I'll Go-Disney's Moana (Male Cover) | Daniel Coz - Duration: 3:42.

I've been staring at the edge of the water 'Long as I can remember, never really knowing why

I wish I could be the perfect brother

But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I try

Every turn I take, every trail I track Every path I make, every road leads back

To the place I know, where I cannot go Where I long to be

See the line where the sky meets the sea?

It calls me And no one knows, how far it goes

If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me

One day I'll know, if I go there's just no telling how far I'll go

I know, everybody on this island seems so happy on this island

Everything is by design I know, everybody on this island has a role

on this island So maybe I can roll with mine

I can lead with pride, I can make us strong I'll be satisfied if I play along

But the voice inside sings a different song What is wrong with me?

See the light as it shines on the sea?

It's blinding But no one knows, how deep it goes

And it seems like it's calling out to me, so come find me

And let me know, what's beyond that line, will I cross that line?

See the line where the sky meets the sea?

It calls me And no one knows, how far it goes

If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me

One day I'll know, how far I'll go

Lockheed says Donald Trump Govt. may take "fresh look" at its India F-16 plan - Duration: 6:12.

US defence firm Lockheed Martin wants to push ahead with plans to move production of its F-16 combat jets to India, but understands President Donald Trump's administration may want to take a "fresh look" at the proposal.

With no more orders for the F-16 from the Pentagon, Lockheed plans to use its Fort Worth, Texas plant instead to produce the fifth generation F-35 Joint Strike Fighter that the United States Air Force is transitioning to.

Lockheed would switch F-16 production to India, as long as the Indian government agrees to order hundreds of the planes that its air force desperately needs.

Trump has criticised U.S. companies that have moved manufacturing overseas and which then sell their products back to the U.S. In his first few weeks in office, he has pushed companies, from automakers to pharmaceutical firms, to produce more in the United States.

In Lockheed's case, however, the plan is to build the F-16 to equip the Indian Air Force, and not sell them back into the United States. Lockheed said it has been talking to Trump's transition and governance teams as well as the U.S. Congress for several months on its plans, including the proposed sale of F-16 planes to India, a spokesman told Reuters in Washington.

"We've briefed the Administration on the current proposal, which was supported by the Obama Administration as part of a broader cooperative dialogue with the Government of India," the spokesman said.

"We understand that the Trump Administration will want to take a fresh look at some of these programs, and we stand prepared to support that effort to ensure that any deal of this importance is properly aligned with U.S. policy priorities."

India is expected to spend $250 billion on defence modernisation over the next decade, analysts say, and there is concern that a veto on making the F-16 in India would not only hit Lockheed, but also threaten other military contracts to come up in India for Boeing, Northrop and Raytheon .

The White House did not respond to requests for comment on the plan to build the plane in India. A person close to Lockheed said company officials did not know what the Trump administration planned to do about the proposal to shift F-16 production to India. "They're following it closely and talking with the White House. But if they don't move production to India, there's no way they'll get the India contract," the person said.

One argument to be made was that moving to India would preserve some component production in the United States. "Twenty-five percent of something is better than zero percent of nothing," the person said.

NO THREAT TO US JOBS :

Lockheed has said that moving F-16 assembly to India would create 200 engineering jobs in the United States to help support the production line in India. It has also said that about 800 workers in the United States making the non-Lockheed parts for the F-16 would keep their jobs if construction shifts to India.

"We are offering to make the F-16 Block-70 aircraft with a local partner in India. This is an offer exclusive to India," Randall L. Howard, head of F-16 business development, told Reuters ahead of India's biggest air show beginning in Bengaluru next week.

In India, the F-16 is up against SAAB's Gripen combat aircraft, which the Swedish firm has also offered to make locally, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi drives a Make-in-India campaign to build a domestic aerospace industry and reduce costly imports.

The Indian government is expected to decide this year on which company will build a single-engine fighter plane, in collaboration with a local partner. A defence official said the process was at a very early stage. The Indian air force alone needs 200-250 fighters over the next 10 years, its former chief Arup Raha said before he left office in December.

Negotiating arms contracts with India can take years, and industry officials said there was no guarantee Lockheed would win the contract even if it moves production to India. Defence ties between India and the United States have grown rapidly, with U.S. arms sales of more than $4 billion in 2012-15, mostly under government-to-government foreign military sales, upstaging long-term supplier Russia and even Israel.

Lockheed's executive director for international business development, Abhay Paranjape, said his team has met with representatives from 40 defence and aviation firms in India to help build the ancillary network for the aircraft assembly programme. "We want to be prepared, that's why we started the ground work," he said, adding Lockheed has also scouted possible factory sites in India.

Lockheed has a joint venture with India's Tata Advanced Systems Ltd to make airframe components for the C-130J Super Hercules transport plane and the S-92 helicopter. "The capability for building components exists here, it's been proven with the C-130s. The challenge now is to pick the right partners," Paranjape said.

10 Popular Actors Who Found Love On A Movie Set - Duration: 6:50.

Tons of couples meet at work.

It's a safe place to get to know someone before deciding wether or not to shave your

legs and meet them for a drink in the real world.

Plus, job talk is guaranteed conversation fodder, and fills those long silences nicely.

Us mortals aren't the only ones who find our partners this way— the stars do it too.

Here are 10 Popular Actors Who Found Love On A Movie Set.

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, The Place Beyond the Pines

In 2012's The Place Beyond The Pines, the chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes

is so intense, it'll steam up the inside of your screen.

Director Derek Cianfrance tells the gritty story of a man dead set on providing for his

family.

After learning about the birth of his son, Gosling's character quits the carnival and

gets himself a real profession: bank robber.

It was on this movie that Mendes and Gosling met, and they've been an item ever since.

They're married, and even have a couple of kids.

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, The Amazing Spider-Man

When Andrew Garfield described meeting Emma Stone for the first time in 2011, he said

it was "like diving into whitewater rapids and having no desire to hang on to the side".

The two began dating while working on The Amazing Spider-Man, and stayed together for

four years afterward.

It's a good thing the two liked each other, since the movie had a pretty intense promotional

schedule that saw them spending every single day in close proximity for months.

And even though they broke up in 2015, the pair are still great friends.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, Green Lantern Opening to largely negative reviews, 2011's

Green Lantern was panned by audiences for its overuse and reliance on CGI.

Especially when it came to the main character's suit.

And although it's viewed as an all-around disappointment, one good thing did come from

the movie: the real life romance of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

Yes, there was some time in between those two events, but it's the end result we care

about.

Both on screen and off, the two make a fantastic team, and celebrated the arrival of their

first child in 2014.

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, Days of Thunder Tom Cruise may be known for his couch-jumping,

Oprah stunt where the actor proclaimed his love for actress Katie Holmes.

But back before Dawson's Creek was invented, the actor set his sights on another willowy lady

— Nicole Kidman.

The two met while filming the stock car racing flick Days of Thunder.

The two fell head over heels and got married that same year.

And remained a couple until 2001, even starring in a few movies together during their relationship.

Since the two went their separate ways, Cruise has been on a series of high profile love-quests,

but nothing as enduring as his connection to Kidman.

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, Step Up Before he was workin' the pole as Magic

Mike, Channing Tatum was hot stepping all over one lady's heart on the set of 2006's

Step Up.

His character Tyler ends up at a performing arts school after a series of poor decisions.

Spoiler alert: Tyler's checkered past countered by his passion for dance turns out to be a

catalyst for change.

And he falls in love with a fellow student named Nora.

Life imitates art, and the two young students fell head over heels for each other in real

life too.

The couple has been together ever since, and no discussion about relationship goals is

complete without at least a few nods in their direction.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005, and began the

process of falling in love.

The only thing is that Brad wasn't technically single at the time, and Jennifer Aniston fans

were PISSED.

Rumors of his infidelity swirled like tumbleweeds in a tornado, and everyone and their dog was

picking a side.

But once Pitt and Jolie were "official", Brangelina became a grade-A Hollywood power

couple with a humanitarian focus.

They have six children and got married in 2014.

And their recent split made the 6 o'clock news everywhere.

Gwyneth Paltrow/Brad Pitt, Se7en Brad, Brad, Brad.

We meet again.

In addition to Angelina and Jen, the actor also had a high-profile relationship with

actress Gwyneth Paltrow in the mid-nineties.

And at one point they even had matching haircuts.

The two actors met on the set of Se7en, and if you've seen the movie, you'll know

its story is a morbid one.

So the fact that these two somehow found the energy to flirt after long days of dealing

with a deranged murderer is amazing.

They were engaged to be married, but the blonde babes ultimately split after three years together.

Helena Bonham Carter/Tim Burton, Planet of the Apes

Ever notice how many of Tim Burton's movies feature Helena Bonham Carter?

Since 2001, the actress has been a fixture in the director's work.

After meeting on Burton's Planet of the Apes, the two creative types began a relationship

onscreen and off.

Their chemistry is undeniable, and the actress is the perfect fit for Burtons cinematic sensibilities.

If it's in the best interest of the character, she's not afraid to get weird.

But after eight movies, two kids, and thirteen years, the couple went their separate ways.

Milla Jovovich/Paul W.S. Anderson, Resident Evil

Love 'em or hate 'em, there are six installments in the Resident Evil movie franchise.

And Paul W.S. Anderson was involved with every single one of them.

He owes a lot to the series, including his marriage to wife Milla Jovovich.

They met on the set of the first chapter and have been together ever since.

It's probably really awesome to see your wife play one of the most badass female characters

to ever hit the big screen.

The actress has a habit of playing strong ladies, and Alice is one of the best.

Margot Robbie/Tom Ackerley, Suite Française Sorry to shatter the illusion everyone, but

Margot Robbie is one very taken lady.

We know, it hurts.

But they are the cutest couple on the planet, so turn that frown upside down.

While filming Suite Francaise, one of the assistant directors caught the actress'

eye.

Apparently Robbie and husband Tom Ackerley hit it off instantly and the rest, as they

say, is history.

The two initially kept their relationship on the DL, but the cat's out of the bag

now and there's no going back.

The couple got married on the beach back in 2016.

Those are our picks for actors who fell in love on their movie sets, but if you can think

of any others, let us know about them in the comments.

And head over to our YouTube channel to see more of our stuff.

Thanks for watching.
