New Report Claims Hillary Could Still Become President If Russia Probe Finds Conspiracy Evidence - Duration: 2:15.

New Report Claims Hillary Could Still Become President If Russia Probe Finds Conspiracy

Evidence.

President Hillary Clinton?

According to a new report, it could still happen.

No joke.

Check this out…

From Newsweek: Nearly a year after President Donald Trump's

inauguration, a Harvard University professor says 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton

could still become commander in chief.

Lawrence Lessig, the Roy L. Furman professor of law and leadership at Harvard Law School,

penned an essay for Medium in October outlining a series of hypothetical scenarios that could

take place should the ongoing probe find that the Trump campaign actually conspired with

Russia to influence the results of the election.

If Trump did conspire with Russia, the president "should resign, or, if he doesn't, he

should be impeached," Lessig wrote in his essay.

Vice President Mike Pence would also have to either resign or get impeached, which would

make House Speaker Paul Ryan the president of the United States, Lessig wrote at the

time.

Given that there is "no mechanism in American law for a new election," nor "a mechanism

for correcting the criminal results of the previous election," Ryan ought to nominate

"the person defeated by the treason of his own party, and then step aside, and let her

become President," Lessig went on to say.

More on Hillary, per Daily Caller: Hillary Clinton slammed President Trump on

Friday after he reportedly called Haiti a "shithole" during a meeting with lawmakers

and expressed his desire for more immigrants from countries like Norway and fewer immigrants

from countries like Haiti.

The thing is, Hillary and Haiti have a history – and it's not a good one.

From Weekly Standard: Protesters gathered outside the Clinton Foundation

in New York City to complain about "missing money" from the Haiti recovery effort from

the 2010 earthquake: The protesters claimed that the $10 billion

meant to help rebuild Haiti did little to help the country after the devastating quake.

And that much of the money went to non-Haitian companies.

What do you think about this?

Energy Update – Reminder To Remain Teachable - Duration: 5:57.

Energy Update Reminder To Remain Teachable

by Meashenu,

I have felt & encountered the energy recently around the cup being too full issue.

I was asking what I could do to help in this matter and writing this article as a reminder

is the answer that came to me.

Most of the cup too full energy has come from ones that claim they are already

in 5d and that they dont need to know anything else because they already know everything.

So they mostly go around trying to state their opinions to showcase their knowledge

with a very egoic energy.

Generally Ive noticed that their answer and suggestions to someone asking for help

& going through a hard time are Well just raise your vibration and be of love and light

and you wont have that problem. They talk about Oneness and claim to have achieved

a level of consciousness, all the while their energy is speaking something else entirely.

Although I highly agree that we should all be of love and light & raise our vibration,

I also believe that someone who is going through a (tough) situation that could use some actual

techniques and understanding doesnt need to be told that as a solution.

They are working through something and part of their process cant involve snapping

their fingers all the sudden to instantly embody 5d consciousness.

Most of the people who have the ability to be at the consciousness level of Love & Light

and be completely unaffected by negative energies dont need to be told that either since

they are already embodying it.

The first month I had my intense spiritual awakening my ego was out of control and I

was in that state of my cup was already too full.

I found out later this was due to a past life that had surfaced that needed clearing which

I did.

During that time I had reached out to a couple of spiritual people through emails, who were

shamans.

Both experiences were very hard for me because in both cases the shamans said I was throwing

negative energy at them and that my cup was too full, there was nothing they could teach

me.

At the same time my shadow self had surfaced and I had to do some extensive work there.

Hearing the shamans tell me very bluntly that they could not teach me was a huge lesson

for me.

I was broken up about it, but I did come out of that having cleared what I needed to, as

well as a great reminder to always remain teachable.

Everyone on the planet has a story we havent heard and something they can teach us.

This includes the plants and animals as well.

We can talk to a tree and learn something new.

Another part of this issue I have seen is the issue of getting TOO wrapped up into finding

out EVERYTHING on your own.

I do agree that we should find answers ourselves directly within our own hearts.

However I also recognize that We Are All One and messages and lessons can come from anyone

or anything at anytime.

Its ok to ask for help and get help from others, even the ones embodying higher consciousness

still ask for help and give gratitude for all of the help that is given to them.

So if you are too caught up in ONLY receiving messages and knowledge from yourself, you

may miss something that was right in front of you.

You may miss seeing a shadow aspect or mirroring aspect that is presenting itself.

By refusing to look in that mirror you are only doing yourself a disservice.

When I started feeling or running into this energy of Cup Too Full I did some reflecting

myself to see if this energy was mirroring something that I needed to look at within

myself.

If you are in a Facebook group, online, or anywhere interacting with other people, there

are always countless opportunities to grow if you pay attention.

Did someone say something that pissed you off or upset you?

Take note of what that was so you can ask yourself why it bothered you and see if there

is more there to look at.

You may have had a nasty experience with someone.

If that is the case try to see the lesson in that experience and view it as an opportunity

to grow from it.

I was recently in the grocery store and at the checkout line the cashier had mentioned

to me about other customers talking about cooking meals in an Instant Pot.

I thought this was weird at first, but when I got home it felt that him saying that was

a message coming from my higher self and guides through that person.

They worked with his guides & higher self to tell me that, so that I could look into

an Instant Pot for cooking more variety of Vegan meals much easier.

Although this isnt some life changing information, it is a good example of how a message can

come through from someone else and how we can be a catalyst for others to receive messages,

sometimes without us consciously recognizing it.

Could I have received this message myself directly from my guides/higher self?

Yes, but it happened this way to be a reminder to me of Oneness and how messages can come

from anyone & anywhere, at anytime.

The greatest spiritual teachers are the ones that have never relinquished their title & role

as a student.

They still view themselves as students and are learning & experiencing new things all

of the time.

They radiate love & gratitude for the wisdom and knowledge they gain.

They recognize we are all one, and that everyone and everything is them and they are everything

and everyone.

They can easily put themselves in the life and situation of another because they see

that they are them in that situation and life, as well as in their own.

Love & Light

3 Things I Learned Last Semester | College Vlog - Duration: 4:10.

Hey everyone! It's Taylor. Welcome back! Happy 2018! With the start of a fresh new

year, I decided to share with you three things that I've learned a last semester,

but before I get into it, hit that 'subscribe' button down below so you don't

miss any new videos Temple posts, so the first thing that I've learned that last

semester is that it's okay to be unsure, and what I mean by that is some people

have a specific plan of becoming a doctor or an engineer and they stick to

that plan, which is totally fine, but don't beat yourself up about not knowing

what major you want or what career path you want to choose. You are the only

person who knows you best and what will make you happy in your future. Just take

time. It all, like honestly, unfolds in front of you, and you're like, wow, I did

this because this was meant to happen. So with this past semester, I took my

first courses as a Media Studies and Production major, and I mean it when I

say things just instantly clicked in class, like, I finally was understanding

every single thing that was going on in class. It just felt like I was supposed

to be doing this, and, like, I totally got it. I didn't feel lost or unmotivated. I

definitely realized changing my major was one of the best decisions I've ever

made. Did I think I was gonna switch my major, like, to a totally different track

at the end of sophomore year? No, but I began to figure out what activities

truly made me happy. It's okay to be unsure guys. You don't have to have it

all figured out in college. Some adults don't even know what they're doing after

college, so, it's honestly all okay. So the second thing that I learned was the

importance of living in the moment. Growing up as a kid you know you always

want to be the next age. You always want to get older. Ehen you're 9, you want to

be 10, because you hit those double digits. When you're 15, you want to be 16

and get that driver's license. When you're 17, you want to be 18 and become

legal, and when you're 20, like me, you want to be 21, so you can go to the bar

with your friends. Thinking about your future is definitely okay, don't get me

wrong. I do it all the time. However, you also need to value the present

moments you're currently living in. As college students when, you know, you get

all those papers and exams. You're like, ugh, I can't wait for Thanksgiving break

and then you can't wait for winter break and then spring break, and then you

take a step back and you're like, holy cow, like how is it already finals week?

It's in our human nature to take things for granted sometimes. Some people only go to

college for four years. Other people, they want to go to college for longer, but

even so, you just need to value the current moment you're living in 'cause

you're never going to get it back. And the last thing I learned this past

semester is to step outside my comfort zone more often. College definitely

allows you to grow and mature as a person, and by stepping outside of your

comfort zone, it can be super scary, however, it's in those moments that you

find more and more about yourself. So, take some risks—I can't say that word.

It's so hard. Who made up that word honestly? Take some risks. If you want to

try out for that sports club, or you want to join that organization, go for it

because you might meet some of the best people that you've ever met, and they

might become your best friends for life, so second semester freshman year, like,

after the new year, I was just like, you know what? I'm gonna finally start my

YouTube channel back up again. In college all my friends were constantly telling

me, you should start your YouTube channel, like, I totally support you which made me

feel so much better. And after putting myself out there, it led me to get

opportunities such as working with MTV U, working with different Temple

organizations—and the best part is what I'm doing right now. I get to be at

Temple's official student vlogger, and I wouldn't have gone here if I didn't take

that step outside my comfort zone and just post a YouTube video.

Who knows where one door can lead you once you open it, so hope you guys

enjoyed this video, but I want to hear from you guys—What is one thing you

learned last semester or any semesters in college?

Leave a comment down below, and don't forget to give this video a thumbs up

I'll see you guys in the next video. Have a great spring semester, and

don't forget to live your best life.

I Broke Into Somebody's House - Duration: 4:59.

Oh hi! I'm a hoodlum. A hooligan. A regular thug. I am a delinquent. I am a desperado

(not a despacito). A regular yardbird. In short I'm a criminal. I never thought I

would stoop this low, but I'm just a no-good punk! Now this takes a bit of

explaining, so stick with me. But it all starts with this book. It's called The

End of the World and it's the other book written about the Trump presidency. Noooo,

it's not. This is about aliens attacking so this is much more believable. It

really is about aliens attacking, but this is an instruction manual about how

to run a role-playing game called The End of the World.

There's a few other scenarios but I thought that a good old-fashioned alien

invasion was in need for a comeback. What's unique about this role-playing

game is that it's designed to be played in one short session instead of over

weeks, months, or years. Also you're role-playing as yourself. So

what that means is that I would be role-playing as Kyle Marshall and I would

have to explain what I would do if aliens were to attack. Probably eat an

entire bag of potato chips and finish that musical that I've been writing.

Listen, the new overlords are gonna need to be entertained, okay? And I do a mean

jazz square! I've gotten more and more obsessed with podcasts that are people

role-playing these games. I specifically like the ones that focus on building a

great story. The Adventure Zone is of course my favorite, but there's other

ones out there as well like The Glass Cannon, or Critical Role. However, I just

don't have the time to devote myself to a D&D campaign. I needed something

shorter, and I'm pretentious enough to think that I could be the Game Master.

Mostly because I've sunk a lot of money into monogrammed t-shirts let's say KMGM

It's just ... so much wasted money. [baby crying] So I finally convinced some people to be

my test subjects. My friend Leaf – spelled like the things on trees – and boy do I

wish I was joking about that. Offered up his house to where we would meet. So I

pick up Isaac at his place and I punch in Leaf's address into my GPS, and away

we go. I know Leaf's house very, very well. I've

been invited in multiple times back when I did have time to be part of a regular

D&D group. I've been to barbecues, birthdays, and even Tupperware events. We

pull up, I grab the book and the snacks that I brought, we go up the stairs, we

knock on the door, and we wait. So some of you may have

jumped ahead in the story a little bit, but I assure you you're gonna get so

very much more uncomfortable in a moment. There's no answer at the door .I peer

through the glass at the top of the door, there's nobody inside but the lights are

on. There's some knickknacks spread out on the kitchen table. We knock again. I

need to remind you that Leaf and I are very good friends. This isn't some rando

that I just met on the street the other day. He wasn't answering his door so I

tried the door handle. The door was unlocked so we went inside.

We then rolled our dice, critical failed, and died. At least I kind of wish that's

what happened. The inside looked different. Furniture was not in the same

place as it had been before, there was different pictures up on the wall, but

maybe they've remodeled. It's been a couple years since I've been there. We

looked through the window into the backyard and there, staring wide-eyed

back at us, is this young girl. We wave. She waves back. Sometimes Leaf

has over family members. But this is starting to feel weird.

I've rechecked the address on my phone, I go back to the front door and look at

the house number. Yes, we are in the right house. So I text Leaf and I say

He responds

Yes he

texts like a teenager who just got his first phone. He follows up by texting

Stomach drops. Panic sets in. "Isaac. We need to go!"

I didn't even put on my shoes properly. I just got out as fast as I could. I was in

the snow with my sock feet. Unbeknownst to me, Leaf had texted me his new address

while I'd been driving. Now I was at the house that Leaf used to live in. But I just

walked into a complete stranger's house and terrified a young teenage girl. The

"lucky" part about this is that Leaf rents that house out. Those are his tenants. So

when we arrived to his real house I made sure that he texted them to let them

know that the Wet Bandits were just clueless dorks. We eventually did arrive

at Leaf's real home, but nothing that happened that night – not the house's

blowing up, the arrow through the head, or the massive human casualties that I

concocted for this game – nothing was quite so as harrowing as me accidentally

breaking and entering into a complete stranger's house. So let me know what you

think! Have you ever done anything this embarrassing? How have you dealt with it?

Did you just move away and never come back?

Let me know down in the comments below. Thanks so much for watching! My name is

Kyle. I upload every Monday and Thursday. You might have heard some of the YouTube

drama that came out this week, so if you really want to help support me the

most – yes. Like, comment, and subscribe – but also tell other people about this

channel. Share it with them. Do all that good stuff. The most you could help out,

too, is by going over to my Patreon page and for as little as a dollar a month

you can help support and make this channel grow. Ad yes I know that it

wasn't actually breaking and entering as much as it was just entering. But the

real crime were those choice of drapes. I mean ... come on!

Because this is

All I can do

I want to remain

I want to dream more

Even so, what (I'm) saying is

That it's time to leave

Yeah it's my truth

It's my truth

I will be covered with wounds all over

But it's my fate

Or as though I have wings

Maybe I, I can't touch the sky

Still, I want to stretch my hand out

I want to run, just a bit more

I'm just walking and walking, among this darkness

My happy times asked me (this question)

You, are you really okay, it asked me

Oh no

Still, I hold the 6 flowers tightly in my hands

I, I'm just walking, I said

Youtube Partner Program - Neet Review ( After the Rain Review ) - Duration: 2:54.

So you just finished watching After the Rain

And I know whatcha thinking.

Actually NO!

Not this time

This time.

I'm gonna be telling you what I'm thinking.

And I'm pretty miffed.

Angry you can say.

Youtube just unveiled a new partnership policy.

Where they're putting down the little guy.

Taking away my sweet sweet advertisements.

In order for me to become a partner.

I need a thousand subs.

And an average of 4000 hours of watch time.

I mean it's hard enough for me to get views.

Do you think I have the face to be family friendly.

Just look at me.

I'm divorced.

I have bad hygiene.

I'm always sick.

And I have a young son.

You think I can afford to feed my son.

With a 4 dollar paycheck.

I still have to file self employment taxes.

So that 4 dollar paycheck is actually.

$1.33?

I wonder if Youtube is tax deductible.

She didn't do no wrong.

[My Ads my poor ads quit smelling my ads]

See now this is the problem.

You got these thirsty ass underage thots.

demonetizing my content.

I'm just trying to make a living making content for Youtube.

And how to do they repay me.

Wait people that got demonetized got an email.

I didn't get an email.

Wait a minute

I passed a 1000 subs baby.

But how did I manage to get 4000 hours of view time.

If I could suck Netflix's dick or lick it's motherly clit. Then I would.

Netflix has once again saved anime.

Anime is saved.

Screw you're movement I'm above all y'all

[Female Dog in plural]

In all seriousness.

I've been uploading videos since 2013

I never thought I'd actually get a 1000 subs.

Yet here we are.

Even 900 of them are probably legacy subs.

And don't reflect the people that watch my new stuff.

But really I don't make these videos for money.

Otherwise I'd be shilling for that Patreon.

I make Youtube videos for fun.

Well more to sharpen my skills as I wait for my next paying job.

If you're actually trying to make a living off Youtube.

Then you better rethink your priorities.

Like I have been doing this since 2013

And I have quit many times.

I've always had phases.

But for the people that actually watch.

Like, Comment, call me gay, message me.

I do appreciate it.

I'm not a big channel.

So I notice.

I read every comment.

And I don't care if you make fun of me.

I want you to make fun of me.

Because you coming back to type that comment gives me a view.

And I need them views.

I guess I should end it there.

I'll keep making videos for as long as I can sustain a Neet Life.

Hopefully this channel grows.

But if not.

Thanks for watching my videos :3

All 20 of you.

You really think I have a 1000 subs don't be silly they're obviously all bots.

Um

Please like, comment, and subscribe.

I need those views to get that adsense money.

[Turn on that notification bell thing too]

How am I supposed to feed my talented kid.

And fantasize about dating a highschooler.

If you don't give me views.

Thank you.

New dog! New Camera! - Duration: 8:45.

Hey YouTube! I know it's been a little while since I've posted a video to my sick-dope channel...

But ummm... Today we've got a special one coming up for ya, uhm, we are going to Weatherford, Texas today

To pick up my sister's brand new, itty-bitty puppy!! Uhmm...

She's actually behind the camera right now, you can flip it around and give a shoutout if you would like

She's also that first subscriber so maybe, y'all should go follow like she did and y'all can get some perks or some privileges like she is.

Um, but anyway, so we're going to get some videos of that, videos of us driving out there, stuff like that

Videos of playing with the puppyyy and stuff like that! Go check out my Instagram @MikeyBPotts21

So that way you can vote on what name you think it should be: Calvin, Tate, or Becker! It's probably going to be too late to do that

actually... so - don't worry about that!

Umm, I'm probably going to have to do a map...

*Garbled* (I'm sorry guys I'm letting y'all down)

Umm, I told them I was actually going to be

*static*

Mary: "Okay. Let's take bets on who the final two dogs are, that are gunna be there. When we get there. ... Mom?"

"Who do you think the final two are?"

Mom: "I think the final two arrrreeee Camo, and Blue."

Mary: "Okay, I think - I think Camo and Green

Me: "I'm also going with mom and I'm gunna say Camo and Blue are gunna be the last two dogs that are there."

Alright, so we had to make a quick stop, uhm, but we are on the way to go get the puppy

A couple things: uhm, we're shooting this on my new camera, the Akaso EK7000 shooting in 1080p instead of 4k

Umm, I don't know why the camera won't let me pick it, but I also get a lot more recording time in 1080p and it looks GR8!

Uhm, another thing - tomorrow, I am flying out back to Costa Rica, uhm so I can get settled into my new apartment

aaaand ... begin my new job!

Uhm... so... it works out perfectly that we're going to pick up the puppy today so I can meet him, and pway wif him,

and put him on the YouTube and then I go on off to Costa Rica.

Sissy had to pee and she doesn't want to be early to the appointment, so where are we going?

Torget. We're going to Torget.

Headin' into Torget right now.

*Quietly* So, Christian Guzmann (@Christianguzmannfitness) you don't have your Up Energy drinks here in North Texas

and I had to stick with Monster zero calorie... so, you need to get your Up Energy in North Texas.

Mary: "Awww hi guys!"

Mom: "Awww so cute!"

Mary: "Oh my goodNESS!!"

Mom: "Hi bay-bee!"

Mary: "Hi bay-beeee!"

Mary: "You're so excited! You're so excited!"

Mary: "Oh my goodness! So are - okay..."

Mary: "You guys are so sweeeet!"

Mom: "Come here, you!!"

Josh, the Breeder: "I know the lightest one is the camo"

Mary: "Yes! Yes!"

Mom: "I think you can tell by the eyes!"

Josh, the Breeder: "Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the orange"

"So we took their collars off..."

Mary: "OH!"

Mom: "Is that the one?"

Mary: "Yes!"

"Come here buddy!!"

"You were my favorite! How are you still here?!"

"Oh my gaw-!"

Josh, the Breeder: "Yeah I don't know what it is about reaching over, I mean you can like see... and yeah they've known me forever"

Mary: "Oh my gawwwwsh! Hi buddy! Hi!"

"He is so so honestly so precious"

Mary: "Oh you are PRECious!"

"Oh my goodness!"

Mary: "Oh I think you like him!"

"Oh my gosh he's so calm!"

"I can't believe he's here!!"

"You're my favorite!"

"How do I... I can't believe it!"

"Oh mom is in loooove!"

"I know he's actually... Oh Camo... you're stealing my heart - you're stealing my heart too!!"

So, when it comes to which puppies were left there when we arrived, all of us were correct when we guessed that Camo would still be there

But, none of us expected Orange - now formerly kn- or now known as Tate to be there.

So this is, the puppy formerly known as Orange, who is now Tate. There he is!

Hi Tate!

the mint stamp is good I'm jacked right now this is awesome this might be I

think there's only about 28 million of these minted so this might be my lowest

minted wheat cent I have found in a box of pennies and it's a good shape

normally when I find a low mint we eat but they're usually worn pretty well

anyway I won't waste your time on this anymore I'm just super excited I'm so

happy that I found 34d in a bank box and only the fourth

roll in the other ironic thing is you guys know when I hunt I usually cut like

this so had I done that I would have found it in my 40th role but something

told me why don't I go ahead and do a different method this way just to mix it

up and I would have found that in my 40th roll and I man so finding it the fourth

were all super cool to me I'll stop rambling on let me get back to the hunt

and after 55 years apart the 1963d penny which had traveled the world and

touched many lives was finally reunited with his brother 1963d Lincoln penny

who had spent his life trapped within a glass jar staring out into the world

touching no lives okay guys 17th roll in we've got another wheatie

finally we had one in the fourth roll and nothing since looks like we got

ourselves a 1947 Philadelphia and it's not in bad shape at all we'll put that

next to the 34 d I pulled earlier that makes two of them let's get back to the

hunt alright guys same exact roll just literally five points later we've got

another wheatie in the roll so that's 2 wheaties in one roll this one looks like it's

got some damage it's got a indentation in the back and of course it's an old

one let's take a look at this looks like it's a 1920 can't tell if that's in 1920

d or if that's just some damage let me look at it under the loop and I'll be

right back ok guys I looked at it under the loop

and of course the damage runs across thev and kind of obliterates it a little

bit and then runs across the 0 and the 20 but you can pretty much make out that

it's definitely a 1920 D too bad it's got some damage not only to

the front but also some warping and damage to the back

it's a shame less than 50 million of these minted I only actually have one

1920 D so it was good to get a second one will take it not in the greatest

shape but you know what it's 1920 we T will go ahead and put this guy with the

other two Wheaties right there which now makes three in the box

so pretty nice coppers in that role as well not a bad-looking 62 63 and 64 so

that's kind of cool roll number 28 and we've got another wheatie

guys looks like a 1946 it's not in that bad of shape it's got some

scratches and somewhere of course but we'll take it

especially since out of the 4 Wheaties we've got we've got one in the 20s one

in the 30s and two in the 40s so that's really cool let's get back to the hunt

rolled over 30 got ourselves another wheatie

good Toning not in terrible condition we got our first 50s coin 1951 D I'll take

it we got every decade except for the teens and the O nine so that being said

I'd love one from every decade hole number 41 got our first Canadian it's a

newer one 2008 but first four to the box had a spot reserved for it we'll take it

we are now in the 45th roll and I was going through a bunch of new ones and look at

this another wheatie

1935 not too bad a shape I will definitely take that one that's another

from the 30s like this box has been really good for the Wheaties I'm getting

as far as condition and year you don't get to any of those

I won't take you good mix of dates let's get back to the hunt

all right everyone another box of pennies has been searched

having candid me up but we've got a really lettuce cup of copper here I

would guess about 400 plus wanted to pull these out for you guys these are

all 1969 Lincoln cents we've got two S's and we've got nine DS Andrews what I

pull them out is it's weird everyone knows to check your 69 s is of course

but any time you see a 1969 with the mint mark you instantly hope its nest

that way you could have a chance at that air variety the double D offers long

story short I used to only get a handful of these in our box maybe three to five

but in the last month I've been getting a lot and every time I get down to about

half within the box I always wish I would have pulled them all out well I've

decided this time to pull them out and that it held true I mean we had 11 of

these that's a lot for me so my question to you guys is are you've seen a lot of

69 s more than you used to or as much as you always have and if so is it a lot or

little I just was curious it just seems like maybe people are getting informed

about the 69 air and they're checking their coins and now they're finally

dumping all the 69 s they held on do for all those years I don't know we had

quite a bit of 2009's there's a few dirty ones in here but we had 14 we had

one foreign we had a couple of 1959 coins here I'll tell you I was a little

disappointed only getting six we tease that seems to be par for the course

lately but I'm not disappointed in the variety and the years that I got check

these out first of all I've got a 1920 D a 1934 D a 35 philadelphia in 1946

philadelphia in 1947 philadelphia and a 1951 d and on top of all that the toning

and the look of some of these are just beautiful especially this 34 d i don't

know if the camera is gonna do it any justice here but it's

a slight rent into it I'll tell you those three Wheaties right there made

this box enjoyable well I really hope you enjoy this home with me guys if you

did please give the video a thumbs up if you're not a subscriber think about

subscribing if you're enjoying the content I do post pretty much daily

happy hunting everyone and as always thanks for watching

Book Review - Artemis by Andy Weir - Duration: 12:16.

Hello! Today here we're going to talk about Artemis by Andy Weir.

Artemis by Andy Weir is the latest offering from the author of the highly acclaimed book,

The Martian. You may have read this or watched them as they saved Matt Damon.

So, this is a different premise but it is also set in outer space.

Jazz Bashara is our protagonist of this book. She's a smuggler . She lives in a

city on the moon called Artemis. Jazz points out that to get to the moon and

live on the moon is highly highly expensive, but every city needs its

working class. She is one of them. This book has a lot of publicity about it,

so I'm not going to spend too long talking about the plot. What I am going to do is

tell you what I like and don't like about it. Here's what I like about

Artemis, what I don't like, and I will try to stop swinging this book around like a

prop because I'm not good at holding props. Okay number one, what I liked about

it especially was the diversity. Not just diversity for diversity's sake, but I

really liked that there was a whole gamut of people in this book. So, Jazz

Bashara is female. She's non-white. There are a lot of people from different

countries, different ethnicities, different religions. All of them are

respected. All of them are treated as equals. I mean, even the administrator of

the of Artemis, which is kind of like the president of the city on the moon, is a

70 year old Kenyan woman. It's kind of fun in science fiction to get to see

women being really smart, really technical, saving the day. It just ... I like

that we get to be part of the fun, too. Not that men don't deserve part of the

fun as well. Don't worry. I'm not gonna get into that discussion ... this time.

The next thing I liked about it was the fun. Andy Weir has a lot of fun with his

dialogue. He has a lot of fun with his characters.

This is evident in The Martian as well. Mark Watney is not some straight-laced,

button-down astronaut. He is very much someone with personality and humor and

likability. And so, I don't know that I would necessarily call Jazz in the in

Artemis likable, but she has loads of personality. A lot of the things that

happen are fun. I think at one point Jazz even is like, "Whee!" as she zooming through

the stuff that she's doing. There's a lot of personality there. It's not all morose,

as science fiction could be. It's kind of like Andy Weir has brought levity back

to science fiction. Not that it was ever sorely missing, but it's definitely a

trademark of his that he injects into his writing.

So those are the things I like

about it. Now I'm gonna get into the two things that I like not so much about

Artemis. I keep trying not to call it The Martian. So the first con of the book is

the dialogue. Ohhhh, the dialogue. It's ... some of it is just so teeth-gratingly cheesy.

Let me read you a sample passage:

"She waved her hand as if shooing a bug. 'Every city needs an underbelly. It's best

to let the petty criminals do their thing and focus on bigger issues.'

I grinned. 'You heard the lady, and I'm the pettiest of all. So lemme go.' "

That's typical dialogue. It's, oh boy, it's something. So part of what makes the book

so fun also makes it a little bit much. A little bit much. A liiiiiiittle bit much. Yeah.

So I'm going to introduce something that I call the Tom Cruise persona. So when

you're watching movies, sometimes you'll see an actor who seems to play the same

role over and over and over. They don't necessarily all have to be

the Tom Cruise character, but he's the person that I think of most prominently

that does this. It's kind of like they create this one stock character

that's an amalgam of all his greatest best traits and then amp up the charisma,

the personality, the charisma to make him the most idealized version that he

sees of himself. This sounds really down on Tom Cruise. I still like to watch his

movies, so take that however you want to take it. But this would be kind of a

sample dialogue that I would have with someone.

"Hey, I'm gonna go watch Jerry

Maguire or a Knight-and-Day or Jack Reacher or Mission Impossible."

"Oh, yeah?"

"Who's the character?"

"Tom Cruise." THAT'S the character. That's the

character he plays in all of those movies, is Tom Cruise. He always has that

maniacal laugh and the glint in his eye.

The reason I bring up the Tom Cruise

persona is because I'm finding that that's kind of what Andy Weir does with

his characters. They're not Tom Cruise, but he kind of creates this core

character who has all of the best traits that I am personally kind of imagining

Andy Weir might be, because it just ... I just get a feeling that he's injecting

so much personality of his own into these characters. I could be wrong.

I don't know the guy. He seems like he would be awfully fun to hang out with,

but when you think about it, the characters of Jazz Bashara, Mark Watney,

Svoboda ... you know, a lot of these central characters could really be

interchangeable. They could easily say each other's dialogue without you really

noticing whose mouth it's coming from. It could come from any of their

mouths and sound completely organic to whoever that character is supposed to be.

And that character is the Tom Cruise persona.

Another con is the relationships.

They seem overly chummy really, really fast. So Swoboda is one in particular

that he's kind of this, oh, not very, not very animated person. And then,

all of a sudden, when this big to-do is happening, Svoboda all of a sudden becomes

this crazy animated character. He is just completely familiar with

everyone right off the bat. For example, when he's meeting Jazz's father for this

first time, it's like, "Hello. Nice to meet..."

"Hey, bro! How's it going?! My name is Svobo! High-five!"

That's not the exact dialogue, but it

could be. And you kind of see the same thing with Jazz and her dealings with all

the people in the book. So for example, in one scene she's meeting the

administrator for the first time and she's tongue-tied and kind of

starstruck. And then the next time she meets her, the woman's calling her "dear"

and she's like giving this person kind of a hard time because that's how Jazz

interacts with everyone, is with the slightly antagonistic cocky attitude.

So, just the overfamiliarity that people have with each other is a little bit,

not quite as believable. Everyone seems to be best friends right

off the bat. So I'm going to bring in another movie analogy here.

Don't worry, it's not going to be Tom Cruise again!

But it's the movie The Holiday,

the Nancy Meyers movie, and again this is a movie that I've watched probably like four or

five times because I actually enjoy it, but the thing that gets me in that movie

is the instant familiarity people have with each other.

So for example, in one

scene, the old man is walking down the street

dazed and confused, and Kate Winslet stops and is like, "Hi. I'll give you a

ride home." And so she does, and then all of a sudden they're taking daily walks

together and she has convinced him to be inducted into this Hollywood award

ceremony which she gets to walk him down the aisle for. All of this happens within

just the two weeks that she's there. And, oh yeah, she falls in love. It's just, ohhh.

Now, one of the major gripes I had about the Martian was that while it's so

heavy on the technical aspect and Andy Weir makes the technical part of it

really enjoyable and somehow actually understandable, it was completely lacking

in any sort of character development. So really, Mark Watney ends

The Martian the same way he began it. He's still this isolated person and

there really should have been a story there. I mean, he doesn't have anyone else

waiting for him back on earth except for his parents and even that connection

doesn't seem as strong as it could be. And so there could have been a lot of

reflection, development that he could have done that it just didn't happen.

So, really fun technical knowledge. No character development. Artemis takes

a little bit of a step forward in it. Jazz, she's still the same person but

when we contrast who she is as an adult compared to who she was as a child, there

is some development there. While I wouldn't necessarily say that she's

completely redeemed or even necessarily likable, she has made some progress from

the beginning of the book to the end. So that ... that's definitely a step forward

for this book compared to The Martian. So what I'm curious about is if

Andy Weir did not have his armor of intense technical knowledge about space

and this Tom Cruise persona that he's created, what would the book

look like? What would he write from there? And so I'm curious. I don't know

that he has to do that. I mean, he's found a niche that works really, really well

for him. He is probably laughing all the way to the bank and not really

paying any of these reviews any heed, which, kudos to him. You go for it! Do not

give my cons to this book a second thought. But I'm kind of curious to know,

if he were to take off that armor, what would be left underneath as as an author

for him. Kind of curious. Whether he decides to go in a different direction

and try something without space and his Tom Cruise persona, or whether he decides

to stick without outer space for the entirety of his career, I'll still be

there. I'll be there to read whatever he puts out. I may not like everything. I'll

probably still have pros and cons. Maybe three to five books in, I'll be screaming

about this persona he's created and how it's got to go.

It's got to be booted, "The Cold Equations" style from the spaceship. But for now,

I am happy to just keep reading whatever he has, whether the exploration is in

space or elsewhere. So, Artemis by Andy Weir. I give it three stars. It's not

perfect. It's not horrible. It's worth it. It's fun. It's a good read. It's a good

time. Let me know what you think. The reviews on this book were kind of mixed,

so I'm curious to see what other people have to say about it. Let me know

in the comments and be sure while you're here to like the video, subscribe to the

channel, all of that booktube love.

I appreciate you watching and I will catch

you the next time. Thank you very much. See ya. Bye!

My Disaster Volunteer Experience in Haiti - Duration: 18:33.

I was living in Puerto Rico at the time when I heard of the earthquake in

Haiti in 2010. It was pretty apparent pretty

quickly that it was a devastating overwhelming scale earthquake and I

began to gear up see if I could go. A few days later I flew into Santo Domingo

in the Dominican Republic the closest place that I could fly in to. The night I

arrived at the airport the UN was there to greet us and turn us away if they

could all those that were unaffiliated volunteers. I explained to them that I

had been to a previous disaster in 1999 when I was living in Paris, France and

the earthquake happened. I went to Izmit, Turkey for a week (eight days) and I

explained that I had some experience with that and construction background, etc

demolition and I gave them my background as it related. I explained that I

was an unaffiliated volunteer on that trip as well. When they got a look at my

backpack and saw that I had nothing else with me in my possession for this trip

they got even more excited about the idea of turning me away and sending me

back to where I came from saying that I didn't even bring enough food and water

supplies for myself not to be able to not be a burden on society let alone

being able to help them. I explained to them that the quantity of water

purification tablets that I had in my backpack and the water filtration system

and the water filtration UV light system with extra filters and extra batteries

and the total volume of water that I could filter that I brought with me in

that little backpack as well as I explain to them that I

have in the past fasted for as much as a couple of weeks and that I anticipated

to fast for this week during the trip and that the power bars that I had in my

backpack would be largely to be given away, which turned out to be true.

They told us that people had been dragging bodies out onto the roads in

order to block the roads and stop traffic and to rob people. And so they

were recommending that no one, even affiliated volunteer groups, that no one

travel without a UN convoy across the border over in to Haiti.

I went outside, they were adamant about me, not being an affiliated, not going in to Haiti,

as an unaffiliated. And so I went outside, I saw a couple of

impressive looking guys partially in camos gearing up apparently.

I struck up conversation, asked if they were going to Haiti by any chance. They

said they were. They were going to get a hotel tonight, that night because it was

already evening and take the first bus out of the morning, the only bus in the

morning. And I asked, they asked if I could, if I wanted to join and I

immediately said yes. And so my two new friends Peter, nicknamed Toto and Lucson

made our way to the hotel and met up with another person, Ralph. Another person,

these were all three Haitian-Americans or Haitians living in the United States

going back to check on their loved ones as well as to volunteer for others.

And so the four of us shared that hotel room, a pretty interesting environment already.

And first thing in the morning is when things really started to pick up.

I went out to the valet and there was a group of people that were getting into a van and gearing up.

I struck up conversation, as I, as you do... and asked if they

were making their way to Haiti by chance and they said yes. And I asked if

there was any way that they might have any room for more and they said yes, but

only if you get in the van in the next two minutes because we're leaving,

heading right to the airport. And I said fantastic, count me in! I've got a couple

more friends inside, how much room have you got? They said bring them, but they've

got to be here in two minutes. So I quickly ran inside and I got Lucson

and Toto and Ralph caught up we had,... They had one other friend Fabiola,

Fabi, that caught up with us as well and we all jumped in the van and

headed to the airport. So one moment we think we're going to be taking a bus, and

a long, difficult, slow, hot journey with potential bodies dragged into the road

and having to have a UN convoy to protect us, to the next minute this group

of what turned out to be Mormons, largely doctors and I had a privately jet

waiting for us. And so a nice turn of events as far as efficiency in

getting us to Haiti.

When we got to Port-au-Prince we were in a holding pattern above the airport and

above the bay. It was a pretty interesting sight with everything going on. With the

aircraft carrier down in the bay that we were actually flying above, and all the

different types of aircraft in the air, and all the action on the airport tarmac.

Just a pretty chaotic, pretty interesting scene. When we finally get clearance and

got down and landed, immediately, they already had, this group of doctors

already had a couple of people from I believe one of their missions that were

injured, had some, a broken femur and a suspected broken hip as well. A couple of

really serious injuries with a couple of different people that were, that we

helped to load into the Learjet which was a difficult, extraordinarily

difficult actually, task, getting in through that Learjet door. But things

hit the road from that point. We started, we split off with the Mormon group

and maintained contact so that we could get involved and help each other in the

coming days. And we went off to Fabiola's house where we spent the week. They let

us stay at their home. The devastation was obvious and extraordinary of course.

There were even bodies on the side of the road in some places where people

just hadn't had the time or the place to take them. The UN had a strong presence

there in Haiti before the earthquake and of course with all of the issues,

shortages and struggles of course their role got heightened after the quake as well.

As we were scouting damages and checking on some of the loved ones of

Lucson, Toto and Fabiola, it became obvious that the area that was within

the radius of the UN security zone of the Port-au-Prince airport, all affiliated

volunteer groups were instructed to stay within those zones. And so there was

virtually no help getting out beyond that radius beyond that zone. And so that

was the one thing that became immediately apparent to us is that that

was where we would be spending our time was only outside that zone. And it turned

out to be true that many people told us that we were the only ones that they had

seen. There hadn't been a single, other than military helicopters and other aircraft

flying over, there hadn't been any firefighter, police, first responder,

outsider or local, any type of response in any way shape or form. We were the

first volunteers or outsiders or quote, unquote type of aid that they had seen. We spent

our first night sleeping outdoors in the back patio of Fabiola's parent's home.

The home was in good condition with just a few cracks in the structure but pretty

much everyone at that stage was sleeping outdoors for lack of confidence that

there might be another quake. I'm an early riser so I tend to wake up first

and watch the sunrise from the rooftop. This was an interesting viewpoint,

interesting place, and time to be. I felt a bit like I was watching over my flock,

my people, mi gente. Of course, in actuality it was a little bit more

the other way around. They were really accommodating and like family already.

I was checking out this rebar, inspecting it to get an idea of what I might come

to encounter related to demolition and the structural integrity of some of the

projects we might get involved in and any technical extrication work as well.

Fabiola's family were wonderfully welcoming to us. Ralph had gone to check

on his family and so it was Lucson, Toto and Fabiola and I and the rest of

her family and a couple of neighbors all sleeping in her back patio. Later in the

morning in our travels we met a gentleman named the Ives and I believe

it was his sister that was trapped, had been killed in their initial quake.

Trapped on the second floor of a three-story house with her body trapped

and pinned and placed by the staircase. By the end of the day we we're getting

pretty close to having the body freed. It was getting to be sunset and the crew came

back to pick me up as they had been off with their own projects and agenda.

I suggested that it might be a good idea to stay back and since I'm an early

riser get right back to this and and get back to work first thing in the morning at

first light. They suggested and even Ives agreed that it was probably not a

good idea. Ives suggested that he couldn't guarantee my safety. The guys standing

next to me with the machete agreed,... or at least I think he agreed. But I went with

the flow and and we came back the next morning and finally got her body

exhumed from home. Before heading out there, the crew had dropped me off

at the airport so that I could hit the Red Cross and anybody else that I could

to see if I could obtain a body bag for a respectful burial and for a respectful

process of where to take the body. I want to get too graphic but if you can

imagine with those types of temperatures and this was probably about the seventh

day or so after the quake with the body that had been killed by being smashed to

death... It's a... I can't, you know, I can't hardly tell you how serious it is or

how valuable is to have a simple body bag

especially people often end up hand carrying the bodies down the street or

down to wherever it is they're going to go, a cemetery a graveyard I presume.

We all slept a bit lightly with aftershocks and occasional gunshots in the distance.

It was almost comical that the almonds from the almond tree above us over the

patio, as they would fall during the night sometimes I would wake up thinking

it to be a gunshot. As we were still in contact with the

group of Mormons with the Learjet, they had acquired a baseball field in the

Dominican Republic and we were on our way there to make a food run as well.

And so we reconnected with them, helped each other out a bit in her efforts, and

purchased truckload (small) of food and water and made our way back for distribution.

Fabiola was amazing in this, as were everybody. Toto is just amazing! And

Lucson... It was just a great team. Everything came together wonderfully as

things always seem to do in these types of situations. The rest of the week

was filled with extraordinary moments and people. With people coming to grips

with the idea of sleeping in the streets getting used to working their way back

to normal life. It was wonderful to be able to witness some of the rare smiles

in these moments. One of the beautiful things about disaster volunteerism is

how it inevitably teaches us to appreciate every single thing on a whole

different level living and working with people that have lost often every single thing.

We met a guy named Marcel who needed help pulling out his aunt from

her home. It's really amazing how much easier it is for an outsider to be able

to deal with such a technical extrication

than an actual family member. It's just a, it puts you in the whole different position.

We came across a medical tent that had been set up outside of the front of

the home of the doctor. It had been the only one that its kind that we had seen.

We came across this girl who was in really rough shape just a couple two or three

hundred meters away from this medical tent but without the ability or means to

get to it. And so we carried her down to the tent and tried to give whatever aid

we could to the doctor and his setup itself. There were shortages of

everything. Gasoline itself was a hustle. Water and

food were difficult for everyone. In some cases water was available but it was

being charged at a higher rate and people simply didn't have the money to

be able to buy water. And so we would at least have something that we could fulfill

as well as the outsiders with cash ability to make those purchases for

people. We met a woman who was pregnant who was water had broken, who was in the

back of a pickup truck but they had run out of gas trying to get to the hospital.

And so we loaded under our vehicle and started to take her to the hospital

before a police officer and I took over that role force finally and thankfully.

We traveled through the city's capital and saw the destruction there on our way

out to make another food and water distribution out in Carrefour.

Another area of the considerable poverty with not much aid at that point that had

reached them. It's an amazing escape from reality to be working for a living one

moment during the normal daily grind of daily life, to the next minute being able to

be in a position of helping people, deliver simple things as water and food

after a massive disaster. Like I said, it really makes people appreciate every little

thing in life. I think everyone should put themselves in such a position.

A man named Tom Gerdy once said ''I have never been able to give as much as I have received''

as it relates to disaster volunteerism. And I agree.

On our seventh day there in Haiti it was about time for each of us to be

making our way back to the States, getting back to normal life and jobs.

These pictures of the tarmac at the airport show some of the tents that many

of the international disaster aid groups had sent in, equipment and materials.

And so it was a little bit of a, international tent scenario. When I was

looking for the body bag and the Red Cross wasn't able to provide one, I

ended up going from country to country basically, visiting each tent with a flag

on it of each international country. And the Germans for example had two full

pallets of body bags and they said no because they didn't want to share one

with just an average person nor did they want to open their pallets for just one

body bag. My last task before flying out was running up and down the tarmac

trying to source a 55-gallon drum of jet fuel B for the Mormon group. They had a,

an orphanage that they were trying to evacuate that had a bus that needed

diesel fuel and jet fuel B was what they said was going to be their

alternative, if I (we) could find a source for it. My ride back in the

direction of reality was on a C-17. I feel extraordinarily privileged to have

been able to go and to give whatever help I was able to give, but it's always

extraordinarily hard to leave. There are so many faces and

so many needs, it's hard to describe.

HUGE BREAKING NEWS!!! MASSIVE RAID Just NOW!!! They IGNORED Him!! - Duration: 6:35.

HUGE BREAKING NEWS!!!

MASSIVE RAID Just NOW!!!

They IGNORED Him!!

Time is up!

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency is finalizing plans to raid California

and detain at least 1,500 illegal immigrants who broke into the country.

The idea is to begin the raid in San Francisco and travel to numerous other cities, which

I will not mention.

The expected number of arrests reached upwards of 1,500.

President Donald Trump warned mayors and governors about being a sanctuary city or state, and

now Trump is allowing ICE to do their job.

ICE has not announced the date of the raid, nor should it be published, as that would

provide illegal immigrants to flock to other states in hopes to seek refuge from the consequences

of breaking into a country.

President Trump has warned local leaders numerous times about being host to illegal immigrants,

especially criminals.

Those who oppose will criticize Trump for allowing ICE to do their job, but those in

disagreement should remember that former President Obama had deported more than 2.5 million illegal

immigrants.

Obama's nickname was "deporter in chief."

President Trump is not close to attaining a nickname until he meets or beats Obama's

deportation numbers, and Trump has a very long way to go until that's a possibility.

The sweeping raid starting in California will target the illegal aliens.

However, it's the criminals who are most likely the most sought after.

In particular, the ICE agents will be delighted to arrest violent illegal immigrants.

The violent offenders who are illegal aliens may pose a threat to ICE agents, and there

could be a battle to detain the suspects.

There could be an all-out war, shootout, or gang fight as ICE runs through the ruined

land of California.

Detaining and deporting the proven illegal immigrants who are violent is essential because

it returns California to a safer haven for legal residents.

Unfortunately, some residents in California believe in the sanctuary city/state concept,

but they won't be supporters for long if their child was a rape or murder victim at

the hands of an illegal immigrant with a violent tendency.

The Federalist Papers Project shared more on the raid:

"Trump and the Justice Department have bristled at the fact that state and local sanctuary

laws around the country are not only unconstitutional but they interfere with the goal of cracking

down on illegal immigration.

The operation, sources say, will target people who have been previously identified for deportation

– including those who have been served with final deportation orders and those who are

criminal illegal aliens.

That 1,500 is a low target and this number could rise as they come across other immigrants

– called "collateral arrests."

This would be the first large-scale targeting of illegal immigrants in California since

Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation enacting a statewide "sanctuary state" law.

Acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Thomas Hogan said that California

"Better hold on tight."

He said the federal government will not permit California to be "a sanctuary state for

illegal aliens," and would have no choice but to "conduct at-large arrests in local

neighborhoods and at worksites, which will inevitably result in additional collateral

arrests, instead of focusing on arrests at jails and prisons where transfers are safer

for ICE officers and the community."

California Senator Dianne Feinstein was not happy when she learned about the ICE raid.

She believes immigrants may be targeted in the raids only because they live in California

and Trump may be attempting to make a point about his sanctuary city warnings.

Feinstein also noted that "the administration is carrying out its enforcement actions to

make a political point and not based on the security of the country."

Feinstein is incorrect.

The point of a massive scale ICE raid is to gather criminals and deport them if necessary.

Some of the offenders might have a violent history and removing them instantly makes

any city a little bit safer than it was the day before.

Due to America's weak prison system that doesn't do much to reform criminals into

productive citizens, the offenders who were violent before may often repeat their previous

actions.

How many times do people get out of prison and go right back in?

If the criminal is an illegal immigrant, then they should be deported to their homeland.

The Federalist Papers Project mentioned that immigration officers would be called in from

other parts of the country.

The extra manpower will be useful if a gunfight or violence breaks out during a round-up of

illegals.

Critics will have very harsh words for President Trump and him allowing ICE to do their job,

but critics can be silenced by reminding them that Obama deported over 2.5 million from

America.

That number is more prominent than many major American cities.

Imagine waking up, and your entire city is empty.

It's like Will Smith in "I Am Legend," and you're the only person left.

I suppose the violent creatures hiding in run-down buildings could be the remaining

violent illegal immigrants who hid from ICE.

That's how many people Obama deported, and Trump is nowhere close to that number.

The concept of a sanctuary city would be acceptable if it refused to protect violent criminals.

If an illegal alien was caught doing a victimless crime, like jaywalking or something silly,

then their punishment could be discussed.

Someone like that could be placed on probation and in the path to citizenship.

Their probation would include a stipulation where one violation is instant deportation.

The violent illegal immigrants would be immediately deported.

Then again, would it be worth taxpayer money to keep them in jail, THEN deport them?

Some violent criminals who get deported may not ever face punishment in their homeland.

They might return to America, illegally, sooner than we know.

The sanctuary city concept needs to be eliminated.

If it's not removed, then it needs should be reworked so that violent offenders are

not protected.

We cannot protect drug dealers, murders, and rapists any longer.

Sanctuary cities protect the wrong people and leave the American citizens at risk.

Talib Kweli Talks 'Radio Silence,' H&M's Controversial 'Monkey' - Duration: 15:10.

Talib Kweli Talks 'Radio Silence,' H&M's Controversial 'Monkey' Ad & Why He Thinks Trump Is a 'Classic

Racist'

Talib Kweli has been one of hip-hop's most outspoken and lyrically gifted MCs.

For the past 20 years, his music has provided both social and political commentary through

solo albums and collaborative projects with Yasiin Bey, 9th Wonder, Hi-Tek and more.

His work outside music is just as prolific.

Talib's awareness toward social justice issues, his activism, and his very busy Twitter

account gives light to the strong influence of the Brooklyn-born lyricist.

His newest release, Radio Silence, is a soulful reminder of the MC's adept lyrical ability.

He experiments with different artists and musicians such as Waka Flocka Flame, Anderson

.Paak, Robert Glasper, Maurice Brown and more.

The topics range from racial inequality to love to the controversial story of Bresha

Meadows killing her father in response to his domestic abuse.

It's an artful, sonically pleasing LP that shows Talib returning to form in a more mature

yet nostalgic feel.

Billboard got the chance to talk to Kweli about Radio Silence, the craziest Twitter

feud he's been a part of, and the reason why President Donald Trump is a "classic racist."

Check it out below.

This is your eighth solo album.

These days, by their second, third or even fourth album, some artists are changing their

sound.

Radio Silence is business as usual for you.

Why did you choose to stick to the formula with this release?

I've experimented through my career in many ways.

There's some things I experimented with where I was very happy with what I did and

some things I've done that the fans were not as happy even though I was happy.

So for Radio Silence, for the same reason why I used the same artist as Reflection Eternal,

I wanted to go into my wheelhouse and focus on my skill set.

But I wanted to add to the mix, my musical knowledge and the fact that I have relationships

with a lot of musicians.

So I was trying to create that same feel that fans wanted from back in the days but make

it feel more dope, more mature, more live with the instrumentation.

How did you and Waka Flocka Flame get to working together in the studio?

If you listen to his verse on the album, he says "I'm enlightened now, they frightened

now."

He's like a lot of artists that are very multidimensional.

Just because they're talented in one style of music doesn't mean they always move in

that space.

I was partying with Waka in Vegas, and he was like, "Let's do a song."

I took him up on the offer and he knocked it out very quickly.

He lives a life as a man where he's not always in the strip club turning up.

Same with Rick Ross and other artists that I've worked with, like Gucci Mane.

A lot of times, these artists come to me.

Every once in a while I go to an artist and ask to be on a song.

But I think it's interesting with me that it seems people that use my music and do a

song with me have a chance to sort of purge and show a different side of themselves.

I've done that with other artists myself, so I understand that instinct.

What made you want to use the story of Bresha Meadows on "She's My Hero"?

Bresha Meadows was a story that I was thinking about and I felt connected to because I have

a young daughter.

Bresha physically reminded me, when I saw her, of what my daughter looked like when

she was 15.

My first connection to the story was very visceral like, "Wow.

What if that was my daughter?"

Then, the idea that a child can go through so much trauma and pain that they feel the

only escape is not just to murder, but to murder someone who they're related to.

What could've drove her to that?

It's all in the court records what they said happened.

But whether it happened exactly how she said it or not, something happened to make her

feel like she had no choice.

That was interesting to me just as a human being.

I didn't set out to write a song about her, but the beat made me want to write about her.

When I heard the track produced by Oh No, it sounded innocent, but also was punctuated

with phrases from these violent rap songs that reminded me of Bresha.

What does that song have in relation to the lack of equality for women and girls in the

court system and society in general?

Her situation is interesting because it's an intersection of domestic abuse, child rearing

and race.

Her mother is white and the father is black.

There are a lot of black men who get railroaded or the system doesn't treat right.

But Bresha's situation shows the conflict in privileges because black men do not get

any fairness from the justice system.

But when it comes to domestic abuse, regardless of race, women don't get any fairness.

What is Really Important in Life? - Duration: 6:58.

Your response to 3 simple questions will determine the outcome of your life.

1.

The First question is, What is really important in life?

Have you ever asked yourself what's really important in life?

The pace of modern life compels us to go full speed, all day, every day, but have you ever

considered whether you're going in the right direction or not?

What do you think is really important?

Most people will include such things as a happy family, an abundance of money, or a

long life with good health.

While nobody likes to think about it, we all know we're going to die.

The fact is, we'll all be gone and forgotten when our grandchildren die.

What then?

It's painful and depressing when you realize that our life on earth is temporary; and then

we're gone, along with everyone we know.

Apart from God, we all share this same fate—a relatively short life, and then we're forgotten.

This is the hopeless fate of all those who only consider the things of the physical world

and don't know the Living God.

But, I don't believe such vanity is our only option…God has a purpose and plan for

each one of us.

Since even the earth itself is temporary, what's really important is that we restore

a right relationship with God now and receive eternal life from the eternal One, the Living

God.

Then, having obtained eternal life from Him, we won't die…we'll live on, and on,

and on, endlessly.

According to the Bible, the only way to do this is by faith in the sacrifice of Jesus.

He carried our sins to the cross, died for us, and was resurrected.

The resurrection of His body proves that all sinners who believe in Him have already been

forgiven.

However, for those who reject God's sacrifice for their sins, a long time in hell awaits

them when they die.

Then, in a future eon of God's plan, I believe the Bible teaches that eventually, everyone

in hell will bow their knee and receive Jesus as their Savior.

Romans 14:11, Colossians 1:20 So, the most important thing in this life

is to obtain eternal life by being reconciled to God.

We do this by repenting of our sins and believing in Jesus' sacrifice.

For everyone who does this, God's Spirit gives that person eternal life and a changed

heart that wants to follow God.

The second question that will change your life is: How can you live a meaningful life?

In view of the vanity and temporary nature of this world, how would you define a meaningful

life?

The definition of meaningful depends on who you're asking.

Your mother, your spouse, or a friend will each tell you your life is meaningful according

to their perspective and worldview, and probably how your life affects them.

But, to me, the primary perspective that matters is God's.

Does He think I'm spending my life in a meaningful way?

You can know what God thinks by reading the Bible.

The Bible will tell you how to please God, and how to live a meaningful life - from His

perspective.

He loves us and wants us all to succeed.

So, my opinion is that my life will be meaningful if, when I enter heaven, Jesus pats me on

the back and says, "Well done, My good and faithful friend."

The third question that will change your life is: How can you fulfill your destiny in God's

kingdom?

God has a plan for the creation, the nations, and every person, but we must cooperate with

Him to achieve our full potential and fulfill our destiny.

He won't violate our free will.

To achieve our full potential, we must freely choose to follow Him, and then we must adapt

our lifestyle accord to His will.

As we cooperate with Him, we learn to know God and His ways.

How can you do this?

• You can walk in communion with God's Spirit

• You can walk according to the Bible, not man's tradition

a.

Let me warn you…as you walk according to the Bible, God will lead you to separate yourself

from this world's un-Biblical religious traditions, just as Jesus did.

Although He was a Jew, and He is the only man who ever kept the Hebrew law perfectly,

the religious leaders of His day persecuted Jesus for not following their man-made traditions.

• You can be a disciple, walking the narrow path that leads to life Mt 7:13-14

The goal of this video is to make you think about the most important questions of life,

and to prompt you to make a lifelong commitment to change your life accordingly.

How will you answer the 3 questions that will change your life?

1.

What is the most important thing in your life?

I believe the most important thing in this life is to obtain eternal life by being reconciled

to God.

2.

How can you live a meaningful life?

I believe God's definition of meaningful is what matters most.

3.

Finally, how can you fulfill your destiny in God's kingdom?

We must choose to follow Him and then cooperate with Him to live our life according to His

will.

OUR CRINGIEST SCHOOL MEMORIES | Dolan True Stories - Duration: 7:54.

• From forming a schoolyard gang to being a little too into Sonic, the Planet Dolan

crew re-enact some of the best true stories from our subreddit about our cringiest school

memories. I'm Pringle and today I'll be your narrator.

Number 10 was submitted by dangermouse_dolan SpinalPalm

In high school SpinalPalm was in a class that was full of girls. One day they had to give

a speech but the only other guy in the class was away. SpinalPalm was nervous, but he got

up in front of his class full of girls and began his presentation.

About three minutes in one of the girls decided it was appropriate time to interrupt the nervous

SpinalPalm and call out, "Hey, your zipper is down!" SpinalPalm looked down and zipped

it up as quick as he could. But it was too late: the whole class was already giggling

at him. He had to suck it up and finish his presentation but by that point he was so shaken

up that his voice and body were trembling… Looking back on that memory, he wishes he

could punch his former self!

Number 9 was submitted by Dave_the_Skeleton09 Cidius

Cidius's cringiest school memory happened on the last day of the school year. The whole

school was in the auditorium listening to boring speeches when suddenly the entire fifth

grade came on stage to give a surprise hip hop performance.

Cidius's jaw dropped as a tidal wave of cringe swept over him. The fifth-graders were

performing the Flo Rida song 'My House', except they'd rewritten the lyrics to be

about school life. They called it… 'My School'. There was bad rapping and cheesy

choreographed dancing. It was like an awkward, beautiful car crash. Cidius had never face-palmed

so hard in his whole life.

Number 8 was submitted by SmolToxin Melissa When Melissa was in middle school her school

made a very embarrassing attempt to appeal to its students. It was like one day the teachers

said: 'Hey! I hear kids today are really into Emojis! We should throw lots of Emoji

crap at them!' What followed was the most embarrassing fundraiser

Melissa has ever seen… The school went Emoji crazy, displaying Emojie artwork, giving Emoji

charms and pillows for good behaviour and changing fries in the school cafeteria into

Emoji fries. The aim of the fundraiser was to get kids to follow the school's Snapchat

account but the whole thing was so cringey it almost turned the students off social media

forever…

Number 7 was submitted by TurtleMode004 Hellbent Hellbent's cringiest school memory was that

time he and four of his friends formed a gang. They called themselves the Tactical Toasters™

and would patrol the school grounds wearing bandanas over their faces. They made some

cringey homemade badges and would hang around the playground giving other kids a hard time.

Looking back, Hellbent realises he was just a cringey asshole…

Number 6 was submitted by taverdoo Nixxiom Nixxiom's cringiest school memory happened

when he was in grade six. He had this huge crush on a girl in his class, but had no game

whatsoever. Every time she looked in his direction, Nixxiom would turn his head away really obviously

and refuse to make eye contact. It was so bad that sometimes he'd stare at a wall

while walking down a corridor just to avoid looking at her!

Obviously Nixxiom's crush noticed his and one day she straight out asked him: "Why

do you never look at me?" Nixxiom was trying so hard to be cool that he shrugged his shoulders

and said, "Uh… I dunno, babe. Because I'm bored." The girl took this as a sign

he didn't like her and basically never talked to him again. Luckily Nixxiom has gotten a

lot better with the ladies since then…

Number 5 was submitted by Pink-Hearts Spincess When Spincess was in third grade she was too

afraid to go into the girl's bathroom by herself because she thought it was haunted.

One day in the middle of class she really needed to go so she asked the teacher if she

could be excused to use the bathroom. Of course, everyone was in class at that time so the

bathrooms were completely empty. Spincess was terrified of going in alone so she just

walked around the hallway trying to find the courage. In the end she couldn't do it,

so she just walked back to her classroom still busting to pee.

She couldn't ask to go to the bathroom again so she just sat in her chair trying desperately

to hold it in. In the end she peed in her chair and was sent to the principle's office

for a change of pants. Spincess was so embarrassed and cried when the other kids made fun of

her. Looking back, she can't believe she was ever scared of a stupid toilet…

Number 4 was submitted by Bitey_Bat Danger Dolan

In the fifth grade Dolan had a cringey friend who was way into Sonic games. This friend

was OBSESSED with everything Sonic and was always talking about the games and the characters.

It got so bad that when Dolan's class held a talent show, the kid went on stage in a

terrible homemade Sonic costume. His entire 'act' involved running back and forth

across the stage, shouting: "GATTA GO FAST!" At the end he tried to do a flip but ended

up leaping off the stage into the auditorium. He fell straight on his ass and the whole

school laughed at him. After this performance Dolan had to seriously reevaluate this friendship.

It's why he now prefers Mario to Sonic…

Number 3 was submitted by boyfightcookout Grgak

Grgak has never been the most socially graceful person. But looking back one particular memory

from high school makes him cringe. He was on this way to the cafeteria when he passed

a girl from one of his classes. Grgak was in a good mood that day so he decided to pay

her a compliment. He opened his mouth and the words: "You're really pretty for someone

fat!" came spilling out. The poor girl was shocked, and the other students

around them stared at Grgak like he had something wrong with his brain. Grgak immediately put

his hands to his mouth and rushed straight out of the cafeteria. It was not his finest

moment…

Number 2 was submitted by irwin98 Zaraganba In middle school Zaraganba was one of the

first kids in his class to get himself a girlfriend. One day she invited him over after school

to have a bounce on her trampoline. It was going great when she decided to go inside

and get them some drinks. Zaraganba decided to stay outside and keep jumping. He realised

he really needed to fart so he said to himself, "Hey! Why not let one out now while she's

still inside…" Unfortunately when he went to let one rip

the force of his bouncing caused Zaraganba to shit his pants. He could smell it instantly:

it was the unmistakable stench of shit. Zaraganba knew he couldn't face his girlfriend so

he bounced his poo-stained ass off that trampoline and sprinted home. When he thinks back on

that memory his butthole clenches up from sheer force of the cringe…
