Youtube daily report Jan 19 2018

- Hi welcome to UndergrowTv again... Here we are in a cultivation room again... Plants are now in an interesting

- process... Transition to bloom... Let's talk about how to optimize results.

- This garden is working with a few strains... They want to do a genetic conservation... We thought they were going

- to do it out of seeds but at the end they did it with clones. They did clones to keep genetic of these strains

- to get new brotes to refill your garden of brotes. We just teached how to make brotes so

- if you've got doubts, only tip UndergrowTv and look for our clones video. Mothers look really good...

- In this case, mothers started to bloom and those clones started a neverending growth... They're made for genetic

- conservation... With mothers from seeds, they've got really nice roots mass... And for sure they get more production.

- Well... We can see how those satives are a little bit taller... They're hybrid plants from Sensi Seeds... They're doing a

- selection to choose what they want to work with... Sensi has great seeds... Not only feminized, you can get it regular

- to select and get major quality mothers. Indica strains are not so tall, and more reduced interknots space,

- so we don't need tall plants to get nice production. It will give great production specially if we improve ph absortion,

- and if you have accurate ec measurements, you'll optimize maximum results. If we follow Advanced Nutrients table,

- take a look at it in our description section, will be easy if you've got standard values... If not you'll have to modify trying

- to adapt it to your garden. Other factors can modify it like your irrigation frequence

- that could variate bases quantity. I want to detach those seeds too... They planted it later but it adapted perfectly.

- Cheese Mass by Mr. Hide seeds... Great results for sure, pretty strong growth... They've reached the others.

- They had other idea in the beginning... But it started bloom and the others, at nice distance and well feeded,

- and reached them... Awesome Mr. Cheese Mass. I want to show you this strain to... The beginning of

- flower's creation. A Purple by Pyramid Seeds... It reached a nice height and interknot distance... Nice fruits as we can see,

- and if you see this, you can see the dark side of the bud's inside, in contrast with hairs... For sure a great bud.

- Well we talked about disposition... Let's focus on details that could improve results... Even in your garden.

- Alkalyne water is important to irrigate... Ec control will help the plant to get maximum development

- bigger fruits, getting more weight and better harvests... We also know that's positive to use draining and increase

- irrigation's frecuence, avoiding oversinking the plant. Nice draining, reflection, aeration, ventilation, light power and

- distance control are nice details to get our garden's maximum. Monocultivation is important too... Not this time, but

- it's nice to work your strain in detail. It will always be positive. If you want to enjoy a garden to get

- your 2-3 months consumption dose... Only a variety could be excessive... You could get bored so

- quantity is not always the most important so... You can get a few different flavours for different moments of the day...

- Satives, Indicas... Different levels between them. You'll get major production in mono cultivation,

- because you can care it at detail, obtaining better results easily.

- You can control Ec in every season... If you have a few differents... You'll have to use an average.

- It will be correct for almost all varieties, but in a few sative strains, it's nice to cut nitrogen in growth

- to avoid problems in bloom. Ec is an important parametter, that will determine if it absorvs

- your food or not... Tap water always includes rests...

- It will be positive to filter it with an Osmosis filter to reduce Ec and then we can get nice values

- adding our fertilizers... We recommend Advanced Nutrients... The less Heavy Metal rests brand... It's the most important.

- Ec and Ph are really united... Because being what they are,

- we'll adjust it better in relation to themselves. We must adjust Ph in function of the strain, for example,

- these plants absorv better a 5.8... The others maybe a 6.2... But we have to make an average so we won't get

- the best results. Optimum results must be in a mono garden taking maximum care of all parametters

- like Ph. Start measuring it to know how much must you adjust... To do it, there are callibration acids

- or alkalyne liquids wich with we'll adjust an optimum Ph to our concrete strain makin easier to absorv nutrient.

- There are a few ranges in wich those nutrients are better absorved... But out of those ranges,

- you can apreciate carences in your plant, like excessive ph's of 7/8 even being in ground,

- an auto level substract... Adjust it and, specially if you're working with coconut

- because these oscillations will be damaging for the plant. An interesting trick is to measure

- the plant's pee... Rest water after draining. We could measure our roots and ground's callibration.

- Then we can imporve absortion ranges... Specially if we observ any kind of deficience

- for example with iron... A normal plant's behaviour with fail alkalyne values irrigaitions,

- show carences like in this garden. Xmass hollidays... A substitute gardener came and didn't measure.

- We can see a few carences in those plants... Yellow leafs...

- that shows nutrients are not perfectly being absorved. It's due to when we prepare irrigations,

- we must callibrate alkalyne levels of water adjusting it until interesting levels.

- I recommend 5.8, 6.2.... It deppends on the variety and the moment of your garden. Let's take this plant as example

- in wich we'll see unadecuated color... Too clear green.. A few nutrients in the leafs... Trunk

- is also more purple... Sign of fail alkalynity... A few strains like Blueberry mark this kind of trunk

- even being perfectly healthy. Depending on the strain, it can be nice, or it could say something is failing in

- nutrient's absortion due to alkalynity of water. If we see this kind of signs,

- don't add more nutrient... Adjust Ph to keep it in a range in with nutrients are well absorved

- not saturating your plant with more fertilizer... It's over fertilized but,

- without absorving nutrients... A common problem for novices... So measure Ph and once it's like that, a roots

- wash in your shower to get clean roots. It's not the best and it will decrease results

- so be careful with this specially during bloom. Growth is important too because a bad growth determines bloom

- production... It will bloom the same way but not as it could be, so be careful during all processes.

- For example, if we arrive to low temperatures, production late will not be the same in bloom because stress during growth.

- Nutrients transport pipes will not develop as it should... Low temperatures are bad during growth.

- It will not be the optimum and all that damage will be shown in the results... If you arrive to

- under 7 degrees... The most part of strains could die or throw all cultivation away so be careful with temperature.

- Avoid overcoming 26 degrees and keeping contrast between night an day... 20 degrees in night will be nice.

- But not lower than 17 degrees... It's damaging. To obtain maximum results,

- room's ventilation will be really important. You'll need intraction and extraction... And equipments for reflector

- refrigeration like with this Indoor Matrix... To obtain a nice weight on the harvest... Lamp's manteinance is really important.

- You must to keep them always optimum. It degrades at every garden... Specially if you use the same lamp for growth.

- We always recommend different lamps for growth and bloom, but myxth are not a bad option.

- We're taling about 600w lamps that could give you an oscillable level of lumens.

- Lumen is unit to measure light... A 600w at 100% should give 90000 lumens.

- In this case we've got an Indoor Matrix by Garden High Pro, increased to Diswat reflection and isolant

- power. All these kind of details will grant us a great production... Keep the optimus weather.

- You can check all this kind of details on its specific videos in our web... Illumination, ventilation...

- In our last visit to bloom's grow tent, we saw how to optimize light's distance. Well i hope you enjoyed this

- visit, we've seen a few strains by Sensi Seeds... We've shown them in growth and we'll identify strains when

- we can see the differences... Cheese Mass... Awesome, and they're working a

- purple by Pyramid... I think they'll repeat. Good smokin and see you on next... A lot of gardens in 2018.

From Special Ed To History-Making Pilot - Duration: 9:37.

People see the end result which is a shiny red airplane

and they go Well that's nice.

You know that's that's cool.

But like it's more to me that,

it's the reflection of everything I had

to do to earn that.

Growing up for me was like,

I did have energy.

But I didn't have anywhere to put it.

So like at school.

I was put in Special Ed and I didn't,

like I just felt like that.

Nobody... nobody believed

like I was capable of anything.

It was just like being in timeout.

It would just sit there and.

Not really do a lot.

When you become like unconfident you

don't know how to how to recover from that.

I don't have a really good way

of being like other people.

I was just bullied enough

or teased to where I thought,

I am weird.

I was really restless at the school like the

institution just wasn't speaking to me at all.

I really needed to find something that I was

passionate about.

I found it right the right time.

Dad left in or the office that I'm picking you up

don't take the bus

And he picked me up from school that day

and there was a leak in a hangar

and we had a fix some sheet rock.

Even from the day my dad gave me

that note in school like that

was the beginning of a chain that changes your life.

And you never know when it is

until you like look back.

First time I came to the airport

and saw that airplane I saw something I want to

be involved in for the rest of my life.

And at that point I was like whatever it takes.

I met Mac McGugen probably the

most influential person in my life.

And Mac showed me a couple things that he was working on.

And I was actually kinda really interested

and I was like oh this is how it works like this.

And this is how this works.

I was placed in a box for so long

and now coming out to this airport

I felt like I was out of that box.

Mac put me on these floats that need

to be drilled apart. So there is like a couple

rivets and I just started drilling out each one.

I think having similar believe me sparked the excitement

we we're working on airplanes now.

You know I'm 14,

we're working on airplanes

and he is expecting me to do a good job.

And he knows be perfect.

All the time But I kept trying really hard

and he recognized that.

I started using my Special Ed hours reading

like ground school books.

Everything I didn't learn in algebra.

Ended up learning and metal shop.

Now I have the contrast like school

doesn't care.

And then Mac and the people the airport like care

and like they believe in me.

And I was kind of addicted

to it and I just kept coming here

and eventually they started paying me.

I knew as a freshman at least going to be a pilot,

I was gonna have an airplane.

I didn't know exactly I

was going to do it.

But this was a start.

You've heard people say like if you want something you have

to want it

More than you want to breathe.

Wanting that airplane.

There was no option to quit on it because I was identifying

with that.

When I was on the hunt for the Cessna 170

Mac had already said you should get a project.

My dad called me said that his boss

knew where one was

and Mac says "aw you just you got to buy that one.

Mac like spits his ice tea

and its dripping out of his like white beard,

and I said "OK dad you know I guess

I guess we're buying it.

When we found the plane it was green

and white. Somebody had carved

their name into it.

So this old banged

up fuselage without any wings on

it or anything.

And it was it was a wreck.

But like it had the potential.

I was excited.

I mean I was only 15

and I owned an airplane.

Yeah sure it couldn't fly,

but didn't matter it still still

said I owned an airplane

and the registry so

I owned one.

When I was younger I was definitely more impatient

and wanting to get things.

Wanted to do like the action

and like get in it

and get things done and kick ass.

People thought like oh he bought an airplane.

He'll get bored of it eventually.

I couldn't imagine not finishing it.

I would work like ten hours a day.

And I started doing this plane up

and things were things are looking pretty good

but nothing ever really goes according

to plan.

I just wish you knew what I even

did earn a hundred bucks

so that I could buy screws.

I did some construction jobs.

I dug ditches.

I worked in a refinery to pay for

the rent on the hanger.

I even spent months up in Alaska fishing for

salmon.

I had fished like six years just to earn

as much as I could.

I was out in the storms that are sometimes

12 foot waves and.

30 knot winds.

I had fish from 3 a.m. till.

11:00 a.m. and then again from 3pm

till 11:00 p.m.

You learn how to sleep outside like lean

against a warm exhaust

and sleep outside with your hood on

and

Try like channel that warm air coming out of the manifold

without like getting hypoxia

or anything.

Fishing taught me a lot.

No matter what,

when, it's time to fish it's

time to fish and you don't quit.

Building the plane itself wasn't the

hard part of it.

The hardest thing has

been you know keeping motivated

through the entire process

and like absolutely not taking

no for an answer.

And doing whatever it takes to really get that

done.

I couldn't imagine not finishing it.

I could probably go over every part

and just tell you like the experience

of building just that

or what happened to get that

part.

I was labeled with a learning disability

but by 21 I became a certified

mechanic.

I finished college seven out of eight quarters early.

I'm a private pilot

and I built my own airplane.

I didn't let what anybody else thought of me

dictate what I do.

I doubt myself and it's not uncommon for me

to doubt myself.

But then I see how far the plane

has come in and how much progress I have

made.

And there's no way I can go back on that.

If you want something bad enough we truly want

something bad enough.

Then you have to make the sacrifices.

I could buy steak

but I buy.

Airplane parts said.

This is the end of this.

What's next for me is

to have the experience of flying this airplane

every state.

And that's really important to me because I know

that there's a lot more in this

country to see.

And the plane is the perfect way

to do that.

HYDRAULIC PRESS - Duration: 15:15.

Hello friends, welcome to my channel, I want to share with you how we can make a press.

To bend metal or to remove or install bearings

Come with me and I'll show you step by step how we are going to make it.

These are the pieces that we are going to use, this is a 4-inch C channel.

I'm going to use four pieces of 24 inches

Here I have two 8-inch springs.

I have some screws with an eye.

I need two.

A big nut here and I have it cut in half.

I will explain how I'm going to put it together, it's a big nut.

Two pieces of flat metal.

These already had them there already have holes already ready

Two angles of 2 inches are 10 inches long.

And of course the inverted jack.

There, in the description of the video, I am going to leave you like investing a hydraulic jack.

I'm going to use this is a screw with plastic head

The first thing we have to do, is Start accommodating our C channel.

To arm.

Here I already have

The armed picture.

I'm just going to tap it and I'm going to weld it well.

Do not forget to subscribe to my channel.

Here we finished welding the frame.

As you can see, this is how look the welding.

The next step was to make some holes to the angles.

Two holes for each angle on one side

Same to this.

Once with the angles perforated

I'm going to put it here.

Has to be at the center.

One on each side.

Here I already have the angle installed and is also welded

Same on that other side.

We have reached the point where I am going to explain how we are going to install this nut.

This is a nut, it has a thread.

I just made sure that the inside diameter was the one that works here

For this thread to rise and fall

Let's put this nut.

And these other two pieces.

That I already have cut.

I'm going to install one on each side.

One on this side, just where the cut nut is.

And I'm going to use the other one for another side too.

but before you start welding we have to make sure

that not a spark will fall to this because it would damage our piston.

And neither here in the thread, I'm going to cover it with paper tape.

Here where we are going to place the nut let's go around

So that also of the space that we require, so that it does not get stuck when it goes up and down.

The screw.

Ready.

This is how our nut will look.

Let me Weld it.

And a long time back.

Here I already have the welded nut goes up and down easily.

The next step will be to find the center.

And install our jack.

To install our jack we have to center the piston not the base.

To the center of our c channel and to the center of the distance that we have here inside.

Here is the jack in the center

Also mark the points.

Where will the screw be with the eye for your fastening our spring on each side.

I'm going to put some oil, so that.

Be easier

these holes were center on our C chanel.

Our 4 inch channels.

We gave it two inches towards the center.

And on this side I gave 3 inches

For what our spring that a little bit the angle.

But.

Our bar has three holes

We have the option to move our spring.

I will place the spring in the hole medium.

Here I already have the springs installed but they are the only ones that I found and I

They were a little long I'm going to have to pick it up with another one.

C channel another bit of C channel and there I will place the jack

Here I put the plate and welded it too, the jack will center.

Again I had to center on both sides.

To hold it, I'm just going to use a screw.

Of these.

I'm going to put one here on this side and another on this other side.

It will be enough so that it is not moving.

Now i need drill a hole.

I'm going to present, and I'll tie it back, to make the test.

already install the jack, screw it and I put his springs back.

Now what follows is this screw for not having to be using the tube all the time.

I'm going to weld him be here.

To open and close it.

Here we have our screw with our handle.

Ready.

And the next thing is going to be paint it

and I'm going to show it already painted and we're going to do a test more

With another kind of metal, as you can see this if you fold it.

Here I already have the press after of having painted it.

Here I have these metal blocks also painted that will serve me.

Here is the jack installed, here I have also the tube is the one that I will use with the jack.

As you can see I put a nut on each side with a piece of plastic

For when we need to lift it, do not miss us.

That's the way I came up with keep it safe and together with the press.

To remove it we loosen the nut and we make the plastic one side.

The same on this other side.

We already have our tube.

To use it on the jack.

I left it 18 inches.

This is how the product was already finished.

I'm going to do some tests to show you if is working.

From Special Ed To History-Making Pilot - Duration: 9:37.

People see the end result which is a shiny red airplane

and they go Well that's nice.

You know that's that's cool.

But like it's more to me that,

it's the reflection of everything I had

to do to earn that.

Growing up for me was like,

I did have energy.

But I didn't have anywhere to put it.

So like at school.

I was put in Special Ed and I didn't,

like I just felt like that.

Nobody... nobody believed

like I was capable of anything.

It was just like being in timeout.

It would just sit there and.

Not really do a lot.

When you become like unconfident you

don't know how to how to recover from that.

I don't have a really good way

of being like other people.

I was just bullied enough

or teased to where I thought,

I am weird.

I was really restless at the school like the

institution just wasn't speaking to me at all.

I really needed to find something that I was

passionate about.

I found it right the right time.

Dad left in or the office that I'm picking you up

don't take the bus

And he picked me up from school that day

and there was a leak in a hangar

and we had a fix some sheet rock.

Even from the day my dad gave me

that note in school like that

was the beginning of a chain that changes your life.

And you never know when it is

until you like look back.

First time I came to the airport

and saw that airplane I saw something I want to

be involved in for the rest of my life.

And at that point I was like whatever it takes.

I met Mac McGugen probably the

most influential person in my life.

And Mac showed me a couple things that he was working on.

And I was actually kinda really interested

and I was like oh this is how it works like this.

And this is how this works.

I was placed in a box for so long

and now coming out to this airport

I felt like I was out of that box.

Mac put me on these floats that need

to be drilled apart. So there is like a couple

rivets and I just started drilling out each one.

I think having similar believe me sparked the excitement

we we're working on airplanes now.

You know I'm 14,

we're working on airplanes

and he is expecting me to do a good job.

And he knows be perfect.

All the time But I kept trying really hard

and he recognized that.

I started using my Special Ed hours reading

like ground school books.

Everything I didn't learn in algebra.

Ended up learning and metal shop.

Now I have the contrast like school

doesn't care.

And then Mac and the people the airport like care

and like they believe in me.

And I was kind of addicted

to it and I just kept coming here

and eventually they started paying me.

I knew as a freshman at least going to be a pilot,

I was gonna have an airplane.

I didn't know exactly I

was going to do it.

But this was a start.

You've heard people say like if you want something you have

to want it

More than you want to breathe.

Wanting that airplane.

There was no option to quit on it because I was identifying

with that.

When I was on the hunt for the Cessna 170

Mac had already said you should get a project.

My dad called me said that his boss

knew where one was

and Mac says "aw you just you got to buy that one.

Mac like spits his ice tea

and its dripping out of his like white beard,

and I said "OK dad you know I guess

I guess we're buying it.

When we found the plane it was green

and white. Somebody had carved

their name into it.

So this old banged

up fuselage without any wings on

it or anything.

And it was it was a wreck.

But like it had the potential.

I was excited.

I mean I was only 15

and I owned an airplane.

Yeah sure it couldn't fly,

but didn't matter it still still

said I owned an airplane

and the registry so

I owned one.

When I was younger I was definitely more impatient

and wanting to get things.

Wanted to do like the action

and like get in it

and get things done and kick ass.

People thought like oh he bought an airplane.

He'll get bored of it eventually.

I couldn't imagine not finishing it.

I would work like ten hours a day.

And I started doing this plane up

and things were things are looking pretty good

but nothing ever really goes according

to plan.

I just wish you knew what I even

did earn a hundred bucks

so that I could buy screws.

I did some construction jobs.

I dug ditches.

I worked in a refinery to pay for

the rent on the hanger.

I even spent months up in Alaska fishing for

salmon.

I had fished like six years just to earn

as much as I could.

I was out in the storms that are sometimes

12 foot waves and.

30 knot winds.

I had fish from 3 a.m. till.

11:00 a.m. and then again from 3pm

till 11:00 p.m.

You learn how to sleep outside like lean

against a warm exhaust

and sleep outside with your hood on

and

Try like channel that warm air coming out of the manifold

without like getting hypoxia

or anything.

Fishing taught me a lot.

No matter what,

when, it's time to fish it's

time to fish and you don't quit.

Building the plane itself wasn't the

hard part of it.

The hardest thing has

been you know keeping motivated

through the entire process

and like absolutely not taking

no for an answer.

And doing whatever it takes to really get that

done.

I couldn't imagine not finishing it.

I could probably go over every part

and just tell you like the experience

of building just that

or what happened to get that

part.

I was labeled with a learning disability

but by 21 I became a certified

mechanic.

I finished college seven out of eight quarters early.

I'm a private pilot

and I built my own airplane.

I didn't let what anybody else thought of me

dictate what I do.

I doubt myself and it's not uncommon for me

to doubt myself.

But then I see how far the plane

has come in and how much progress I have

made.

And there's no way I can go back on that.

If you want something bad enough we truly want

something bad enough.

Then you have to make the sacrifices.

I could buy steak

but I buy.

Airplane parts said.

This is the end of this.

What's next for me is

to have the experience of flying this airplane

every state.

And that's really important to me because I know

that there's a lot more in this

country to see.

And the plane is the perfect way

to do that.

Should You Invest In Bitcoin or Cryptocurrency? - Duration: 6:35.

Kris Krohn here and today, we're going to be talking about bitcoin, we're going to

talk about cryptocurrency. You guys keep asking, Kris, what do you think? What do

you think? What do you think? And I don't know if you're going to like what I really

have to say but I'm going to it share with you.

You know, I love it when these things come out, these fads, these ideas that are

powerful, right. They're financial investments, they take root and then they

have this explosive period where they grow. Bitcoin and this cryptocurrency is

one of the things that has really popped up, it's new, I'm not going to call it a fad

and I'm also not here to judge it today as necessarily a good or bad thing but

so many of you keep asking me, Kris, what do you think about Bitcoin? Kris, what do

you think about the crypto? And today, I want to share with you some of my

thoughts and feelings on it because in the end, you might end up watching this

video saying, great, I'm going to go invest in it. You might also watch the video and

say, well, I think I'm going to put my money into something different. So first of all,

I want to be really upfront and clear, I have personally not invested in Bitcoin

and frankly, I'm fairly uneducated on what Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is and

there's a reason for that. You know, it's following a pattern that

I've seen come and go over the years whether these hot flashes that build up

momentum. I mean, today what would happen if I bought Apple stock? It had its

period where it shot up. Can things afford to just do that on a non-stop

basis? By the time people really find out about these fads, the fad is often over

or it's close to being over so just for that reason alone, I haven't invested in

it and maybe in the future I will once it stabilizes and I learn more about it

but I want to get down and talk about principles of cryptocurrency,

I want to compare it to real estate and ultimately, the things that I do and the

things that I don't do, come down to personal principles in life so first of

all, I invest in real estate because it's hard, it's real, it's physical, it's

tangible and it pays me every single month. I got a friend right now who's a

multi-millionaire that has been making leaps and bounds tons of money in her

Bitcoin in just the last six months, it has been amazing for her. The reality is,

is it going to keep doing that? Is it going to fall? It's such an unknown. I tend to

choose a fast and steady approach to financial security which means it

sometimes doesn't have all of the glare and lights and excitement of some of

these things but it also doesn't have the downfall or the low moments or the

things that don't end up turning out. My real estate in the end, after I've tried,

listen, I've invested in gold refineries, I've invested in oil truckin businesses,

I've been across the board in so many different industries and I keep coming

back to real estate. I'm no longer excited by like, the

the exciting investments, there's a reason why inexperienced dictates. I look

young, maybe it's some of you I look old but I've been around the block so many

times that I'm looking for what some might call slow and steady, I like to

crank into fast and steady. Real estate is my fast and steady way to build millions

of dollars when I need to build millions of dollars, it's a way to create residual

income, it's a way to create financial freedom and I absolutely love it.

Different than cryptocurrency is number one, it's physical, you can touch it, it's

real. Number two, real estate produces a cash flow. When you're crypto, you've got to

pull money out of it and actually take from the principal to actually gain

anything from it and then number three, real estate has a cyclical dependable

growth. It's not going to be here, you know, for 20 years and then gone or here

for one year and gone or it's not going to have an explosive moment and then be

boring after that, it's not going to be market dependent, it's not going to

depend on how many people are buying it, that's not going to drive the value of

it. Real estate is going to follow a cycle that follows populations, supply and

demand and it's predictable and by cracking the code on it, I know what I

can make it do for me so those are three of the biggest reasons why I love what

real estate does, not just in comparison to cryptocurrency

but really just about every other investment that's out there. The second

thing that I love to invest in outside a real estate is business because it can

produce these meteoric rises in short bursts of time, even bigger than what

real estate can do and yet, it's where I feel comfortable diversifying and being

so in the future maybe I will own some some cryptocurrency but what I'm looking

for is, I'm looking for patterns, I'm looking for stabilization and I want to

game the system because I know how to make money in real estate when the

markets tanking, I know how to make money in real estate when it is crank, I know

what to do in real estate when it's just doing its boring no growth

boring boring self and I can crush it in real estate all across the board. I'm

waiting to see if crypto has patterns like that, I'm waiting to see what a full

cycle of it looks like. So in the end, cryptocurrency and Bitcoin, is it a yes

or is it a no? For me currently, I may be missing out on a fantastic investment

opportunity but only because I have a known investment opportunity that is

doing exactly what I want it to so it's a no for me right now.

I won't certainly shut the door on it, I will allow myself to stay open-minded

but I'm going to watch it and maybe it'll end before I have a chance to get in on

it which is exactly the kind of things that I don't want to get in on but if

it actually does turn cyclical and dependable, if there's a way to hack the

code on how to make money in it, rather than the speculation model of up by it

and they'll chase it and it'll go up in value and I'll make money, that I will

not do. Those models have been proven time and time and time again to have

very exciting periods followed by other periods that are not exciting to say the

least. So friends, those are my opinions simply based on principle. You know, it's

interesting at the end of the day, we're trying to get somewhere, right? And one of

the things that I got to ask myself is, how do I want to arrive at where I'm

going? Does it have to be as fast as possible? What's my risk tolerance?

I think that how I get somewhere is probably more important than whether or

not I actually even get there because it really comes back to the journey and for

me enjoying the journey. I used to do some day trading and did that for two

years and I had incredible explosive moments of great growth but in

the end, I ended up losing a lot more than I ended up winning and after being

down five figures, I decided that it was time for me to get out of the game.

I can't really compare that to crypto, I'm just really comfortable knowing what I'm

knowing and knowing what I'm knowing and doing is actually working and I think

those are some of the things that are really really important to me personally.

So you know what? I'm excited to see what what cryptocurrency does, I tracked my

friend's progress really closely and if it weren't just a speculative buy and

just hope that the rest of the market loves it and that keeps growing, I'd

probably be a lot more interested in it but let's see what the cycles do on it.

And that's cryptocurrency compared to real estate. Now listen, if you got money

set aside, you want to start investing seriously in real estate then click the

link and get with me my team and let's show you why we believe so much in real estate.

DIY Dream Desk Setup 2.0 - Minimal Ergonomic Clean - Duration: 3:40.

Refreshing my desk space is one of my favorite ways to reset for the new year.

Like all my other designs I love the clean, modern setup, while still considering ergonomics

for a long work day.

I ended up staining the desk, creating some art work on the wall, and combined some of

my favorite pieces of tech and accessories to help bring the whole space to life.

Hi I'm David and here's my updated DIY Dream Desk setup for 2018

While I really loved my old setup I put together in 2017.

This year I wanted to brighten up the space a bit with lighter colors and art to make

it look lively and fresh.

The biggest new change to the setup is the desk.

The desk is combination of a stained IKEA Gerton table top installed on the Fully Jarvis

standing desk legs.

The Jarvis desk legs have a really nice range of height support that goes as low as 24 inches,

which makes it perfect for me to use without a foot rest.

But I can also easily raise it with a touch of a button to as high as 48 inches to use

while standing.

For the table top, the IKEA Gerton, is a solid wood solution that is nice and deep so I can

rest my arms on the table and still keep a good distance away from my display.

Out of the box though the Gerton needs to be oiled regularly, and there's always the

worry of stains and water damage with bare wood.

So I added a layer of stain to darken the color, and put a layer of acrylic on top to

protect it.

So now I don't really have to worry about water or stains and cleaning is super simple.

To add a splash of color to the setup.

I had a friend help pick out a couple succulents and a cactus for some added decoration, and

for the clay pots we spray painted them white to help match with the rest of the space.

As for decorating the wall, Artwork or photography is my usually go to for adding additional

style but for cheaper DIY route I grabbed some Washi tape and just made my own.

Washi tape is pretty much like masking tape, it's easy to apply and completely removable

so you can basically just freestyle your work.

Or if you happen to have a projector laying around like I did, you can cast a silhouette

on the wall to trace against for more complex designs.

For the computer setup, I'm pretty much fully on board for using a single large monitor.

And there's nothing better looking in my opinion than a nice large ultrawide installed

on a monitor arm to keep the setup clean and uncluttered.

Using a single ultrawide monitor optimally for multitasking with multiple windows can

take some extra coordination but after discovering DisplayFusion, it really has changed the overall

experience for me.

Keeping everything else clutter free is also important.

So underneath the table I'm just using an IKEA Siggum rack to easily keep my wires tucked

away.

I'm also using a laptop stand that helps save more space on the desk.

And a wireless keyboards and mice to avoid any unnecessary wires.

For those mechanical keyboard enthusiasts, I've tried switching between to a couple

different mechanical keyboards like the Anne pro or the Drevo Calibur but honestly I keep

go back to my basic clicklet Logitech keyboard with the nice low profile design and close

to perfect keyboard layout what for I need.

Also with this setup I'll sometimes switch displays between the laptop and desktop system,

and thanks to the built in kvm on the Dell monitor I don't need to worry about replugging

in my USB devices.

I haven't found a new pair of speakers to go with this setup yet, so I'm just using

the built speakers on the display, and for music I'll just use the google home mini

grouped together with the rest of the devices around my home.

So that's a quick look at my DIY Dream Desk Setup for 2018.

Combining a nice new stained table top, with the ability to sit or stand at the desk, with

some simple wall art and plants for a new and warmer setup.

But hope you guys enjoyed this one.

You know what to do.

And I'll see you in the next video.

December Wrap-Up || 2017 - Duration: 12:50.

Bibliophiles of the internet, my name's Adriana and today I'm here to finally bring you my December Wrap-Up.

Fair warning, this might be a long video, because I did read quite a few things in December,

but also because I have *very* strong feelings.

The first book I read in December was a re-read for me, and that was "The Coldest Girl in Coldtown"

by Holly Black.

This is a YA paranormal story set in a world where vampirism is classified as an epidemic worldwide.

Everybody knows about it, and it's considered a contagious disease,

which has resulted in the advent of Cold Towns.

Cold Towns are basically quarantine zones to hold people who have been turned

as well as people who have been bitten but haven't completed the transformation yet.

The story begins with our main character, Tana, waking up the morning after a rager

to find out that everyone else who attended this party is now dead, and the only other survivor she can find

is her ex-boyfriend, Aiden, who has been bitten and left tied up as bait. But bait for who...or what?

They end up falling in with a vampire named Gavriel,

and they decide among themselves that the best plan is to drive to the nearest Cold Town,

turn themselves in, and fast.

Reading this again really just validated the torch I've been carrying for this book all these years,

how strongly I felt about it, and the fact that I always considered it good enough to stay on my shelves.

When all is said and done, it's just such a compelling, engaging narrative that blends vampire lore,

mythology, history, modern day obsession with vampirism,

and uses all these things to deliver a dark, exciting story.

Tana is a character I feel VERY strongly about.

She knows exactly what she wants, what she needs to do, what it takes to survive,

and she will not allow ANYONE to sway her from her course.

But I wouldn't call it stubbornness, but rather a marrow-deep understanding of who she is,

fundamentally, and she's able to realize that it's not something to compromise.

And I've always been appreciative of her love interest, Gavriel, who is a monster, who is monstrous,

but makes no allusions to being otherwise.

Not only does Tana refuse to romanticize vampirism, but Gavriel refuses to romanticize himself,

and he makes it clear that any attraction he feels towards her won't fundamentally alter his true nature.

Loving him won't make him become a "good guy."

And when you juxtapose his character with Aiden's—who is a really compelling bisexual bad boy type character

within his own right—

it becomes that much more interesting, because you realize that, when they were dating,

Aiden was more monstrous to Tana than Gavriel, a real life "monster," ever is.

And even though Gavriel puts his own agenda first, he still treats Tana with respect.

It's a really great story. I haven't even done it justice. I didn't even get to talk about the writing, the imagery,

the atmosphere. But it's a story I feel very strongly about and it gives you a lot to consider as a reader.

And for those reasons, I gave this book, once again, five stars.

After that, I listened to books 5, 6, and 7 in the "How to Train Your Dragon" series by Cressida Cowell,

read by David Tennant.

This is a middle grade fantasy adventure series that chronicles the early years

of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, heir the Hairy Hooligan Viking tribe and future Viking legend.

However, as a youngster, Hiccup is basically one of the most disgraced and ridiculed Vikings in his tribe.

He's tiny, skinny, clumsy, non-violent, bookish, uncharasmatic, which doesn't bode well

in a culture that values brute strength and physical power over thoughtfulness and cleverness.

With every installment, I love this series more and more, and I just don't know what else to say.

It's a such a wonderful, empowering story which celebrates the unlikeliest heroes

coming together and accomplishing incredible things.

I think it's a story that keeps bringing me back because the characters thrive where they're expected to fail.

It would be so easy to lose faith and give up when everybody writes you off

and believes that you're never gonna be good enough.

At that point, you could just walk off and give the people what they want.

These characters don't let other people dictate *their* limits,

which is a really admirable trait.

And, of course, David Tennant's narration is worthy of every award in existence.

That man casts his voice here, there, and everywhere. If the story calls for singing, he sings.

If the story calls for poetry, the man doth recite.

His dynamics, his vocal range—no one else even compares.

I gave these books, respectively, 4-and-a-half, 4-and-a-half, and 5 stars.

After that, I read volumes 8, 9 , and 10 of "Boku no Hero Academia"

or "My Hero Academia" by Horikoshi Kohei.

I've been talking about this manga series for a while. It's a shonen series about a young boy, Midoriya,

who lives in a world where almost everyone displays super powers, or "quirks," but he is actually quirkless.

One day he runs into his idol, All Might, who sees Midoriya's passion for humanity

and the strength of his heart, and decides to pass on his legendary quirk, "One for All" to Midoriya,

which earns him a chance to attend UA, an elite school for the next generation of heroes.

With these volumes, I have officially surpassed where season two left off,

and the stakes just keep getting higher and higher.

The series continues to outdo itself.

I love how this series celebrates both the individual and the collective.

There's an acknowledgement that the growth these characters have achieved is because of their families,

their teachers, their peers, but to take it to the next level is a responsibility that is theirs alone.

It's something they can only push for themselves.

And in these volumes especially, the series examines how, in this world where so many people have access

to so many different kinds of quirks, sometimes the difference between "good" and "evil" is a perspective,

or merely a choice.

It's so fascinating to see why these characters choose to be heroes,

and to see if that's a choice they're going to continue to make.

All of these volumes are exemplary, and I gave each and every one of them five stars.

Then I listened to one of my new favorite books, "Elmet" by Fiona Mozely,

read by Joe Jameson.

This was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2017. It's a quiet, subtle story about a small Irish family.

There's a father with violent tendencies who used to be a fighter in his hay day,

and now he's raising his two children in a small house he built with his own two hands.

Their copse is very remote, very removed from town, people, and society, purposefully so,

because this father wants his kids to grow up organically, outside of the limitations, rules,

and expectations dictated by society, so that they can have the chance to grow up free

and to fully discover themselves on their own terms.

And the story is very much about how people are threatening to challenge and snuff out this lifestyle,

no matter the consequences.

Like I said in my last book haul, it's a quiet tour de force of a story that just builds, and builds, and builds on itself

It's an incredibly powerful book that succeeds in ways I don't even think I can explain.

I love the choice of narrator, because I'm always drawn to stories where the main character is almost peripheral.

They're not always directly involved with the action of the story,

but things that effect people in their life effect *them* viscerally.

So the dynamicism is slightly removed, but everything feels very close.

The main character and narrator, Daniel, is able to hold the story together because he's so innocent.

Every page is almost like life is happening to him for the first time,

and he's having to reconcile his sheltered lifestyle with all the ways the world encroaches on his family

and the life they've made for themselves.

He's also in really unique position, because all his life no one's ever told him what he should or should not do

or what should or should not be.

He wears tight pants and short shirts that expose his skin, he lets his hair and nails grow long

in a way that would be called feminine, he allows himself to be attracted to men.

In a way, he really is free of the shame and guilt that so many of us are taught.

To him the concept doesn't even exist.

But through the actions of his father and his sister, he's still coming to understand his place.

Kathy, his sister, is also a really compelling character. I connected with her right away,

because she always talks about what it's like to live in a world dominated by men, where men have the power

to decide and enforce arbitrary rules as they see fit,

a world where she feel feels restricted and hunted every day of her life.

In a way, she's the reason why their father took them to the middle of nowhere

and started a life where they depended on no one but themselves,

because he wanted to create a place where she didn't have to feel that way.

But even their copse is not safe from the prying eyes and hands of men,

who are not content to leave that personal space undisturbed.

The father is also a complex character, because he's described as violent, as a fighter.

And even now, he occasionally goes out and beats people half to hell

just to "keep order" and protect those he cares about.

He always feels like a ticking time bomb, like he could go off at any second.

But that's undercut by the softness he shows towards his family and friends.

Once someone worms their way into his heart, he'll do anything for them,

and he cares deeply in his own way.

And I think that's the tipping point.

The story explores all these different forms of violence that people can inflict on each other,

but sometimes it's forcing yourself into someone's life where you're not wanted

that can be the most common act of violence.

I could go on for hours and hours, but needless to say this was a tremendous story.

I highly recommend the audiobook as well. I gave this one five stars.

After that, I finally read "Quests for Glory" by Soman Chainani.

All I can say about this is that it's a continuation of "The School for Good and Evil" series.

It follows all the main characters during their fourth year, which is the year where each student

is assigned a quest, and the only way to formally complete their education is to see this quest through.

I really enjoyed getting to come back to this world

and see all my favorite characters continuing to come into their own and grow.

Over the course of this series, Soman Chainani has deconstructed quote-unquote "binary" relationships

in each book: Good and Evil, Boys and Girls, Old and New, and now Truth and Lies.

And of course he does that very well.

He takes these binary concepts that seem like opposites and shows his audience how they overlap,

how they're more similar than you would think, and he always strives to blur the lines between the two.

So that was this book's strong point, I think, that it shows how in this time where these characters

don't know who to trust or what to believe, they can only overcome their obstacles together.

They are stronger when they unite.

While I think this installment had some pacing issues and was maybe a little too binary at times,

despite its attempts to de-couple binary thinking, overall I enjoyed it,

and I'm curious to see how the story continues.

I gave this one 4 stars.

Then I read volumes 1 and 2 of "Giant Days," illustrated by Lissa Treiman and written by John Allison.

This is a slice of life graphic novel series about three girls in University who meet before school starts,

and the series wonderfully chronicles all their hilarious shenanigans.

This is such a delightful, refreshing series.

The dynamic between these friends is so magnetic and full of positive energy.

They couldn't be more different, but there's still room enough for all their personalities to shine.

I like that they don't try to change each other; they just accept each person for who they are.

And I also love that no problem is too big or too small for the series to explore.

Whether it's getting sick in the middle of school, dreading hometown visits, cramming right before finals,

dating, everything is of interest.

When you think about it, what these characters are going through is what everybody goes through,

but they handle it with such levity, in a way that makes sense for them

and disregards what anybody else thinks.

I really cannot emphasize enough how FUNNY this series is.

It has fantastic one-liners, the dialogue is clever as hell,

and that close-knit dynamic is what really keeps you coming back.

Also, so far, one of the main characters is queer! Which is a really great bonus.

These volumes were both exceptional, and I have now prioritized catching up with this series

more than any other. I gave both of these trades 5 stars.

And then my 12th poetry collection for 2017 was "Black Book of Poems" by Vincent K. Hunanyan.

This collection is difficult to sum up. It doesn't follow any one theme

and it doesn't really have any one idea or concept that holds it all together.

I will say that it's very straightforward. It lacks pretense and pretension,

which makes it feel more real and more accessible. So that's something I appreciate.

I also enjoyed the contrast between the subjects of the poems, which are very personal and modern,

and the form itself, which uses alternating rhyme, couplets, enclosed rhyme,

and a bunch of other traditional rhyme schemes which kind of give the impression of being antiquated.

So that contrast creates a rich dynamic.

My only hang-up is that while I enjoyed reading through this collection,

I don't think there was anything particularly memorable about it.

I don't think I'll be able to recall the poems even two months, three months from now,

and for that reason I gave this collection 3 stars.

And the last book I read in 2017 was "Little Fires Everywhere" by Celeste Ng.

I don't want to talk about this book too much here, besides to say that I read it,

because I kind of already wrote out an entire book review script.

I wrote it before I wrote by Best Books of 2017 video or before my thoughts for *this* video,

so that will definitely be the next video I film and upload to this channel. So watch out for that.

But this was a *brilliant* follow-up to "Everything I Never Told You." I had been waiting for this book since 2014,

and I can definitively say it was worth every second of that wait.

Stay tuned for my full, in-depth review, but I will say there was nothing about this I didn't like,

and I gave it 5 stars.

So those are all the books I read in the month of December.

I will say I'm on my way to having a very successful January as well!

If you have read and enjoyed any of the books I mentioned in this video,

please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.

But that is everything I had for this wrap-up today. Thank you so much for watching this video.

I really hope that you enjoyed it, and I will catch YOU on the flip-side of the page.

Bye!

🍓 I Did Not Masturbate in Front of That Woman!📡Michael Douglas - Duration: 3:36.

Michael Douglas would like to make something very clear.

In an interview with Deadline, the veteran actor has responded to accusations of sexual

harassment with a definitive statement that can best be summed up with these words:

No. Not me too.

The 73-year old The Oscar winner decided to come forward preemptively after being contacted

by The Hollywood Reporter and Variety regarding allegations of misconduct made by an employee

who worked for him more 32 years ago.

This employee claims Douglas once dropped his pants and masturbated in front of her.

The woman worked for Douglas' production company in New York, the actor says, adding:

"I don't know where to begin. This is a complete lie, fabrication, no truth to it

whatsoever."

Having been in the entertainment industry for over 50 years, both as an actor and producer,

the two-time Academy Award winner went into further detail about why he's speaking out.

"I felt the need to get ahead of this," Douglas explains , adding:

"It pertains to me but I'm also getting a sense of how it reflects in our culture,

and what is going on today. I see it as a cautionary tale."

Douglas says he remembers the woman in question and says he fired her based on her work.

He also denies her claims that he proceeded to blackball her from Hollywood.

"I support the #metoo movement with all my heart," Douglas continued.

"I have always supported women, along the way. This is the kind of step that can set

that movement back....

"I'm just happy to be able to present my story. I'm grateful to have the support

of my wife and my kids who've had to share this with me.

"It has been a complete nightmare."

The actor is married to Catherine Zeta-Jones.

As readers are likely well aware, Hollywood continues to reel from accusations against

a variety of men of sexual harassment and misconduct.

The issue took on a new life of its own last year after producer Harvey Weinstein was accused

of some horrible acts against the opposite sex.

Since then, victims have been empowered to go public, with accusations taking down the

careers of such major stars as Kevin Spacey, Matt Lauer and Louis C.K.

The latter was also accused of jerking off in front of women, but he actually confessed

to these misdeeds .

The Hollywood Reporter, meanwhile, has not yet commented on Douglas' statement and/or

the article he says the publication called him about in December.

As of late Tuesday, there were no stories containing allegations against Douglas on

its website.

To conclude his chat with Deadline, Douglas said the following:

I'm upset... I'm having a hard time understanding it. I'm very grateful to my family and business

associates around me.

I'm fearful, I have jobs going with studios who all seem to be supportive at this time.

I'm hurt, really hurt and offended and I wonder if people realize when you do something

like this, it hurts a lot more than just one person.

Kim Kardashian Surrogate Speaks Out: I'm Happy, Healthy and RICH! - Duration: 3:40.

Kim Kardashian Surrogate Speaks Out: I'm Happy, Healthy and RICH!

As youve likely heard by now, Kim Kardashian welcomed her third child this week.

The baby was born via surrogate at Cedars Sinai Hospital in LA early Monday morning.

Kim made the announcement via her subscription-based app, but at this point, details are still relatively scarce.

We know the baby is a girl, and the delivery went smoothly--but thats about it.

It might be weeks before Kim and Kanye go public with additional information, but one person who was directly involved in bringing their child into the world is speaking out.

kind of.

Not much is known about the surrogate hired by Kim and Kanye, and it seems that according to her contract, shes not allowed to speak to the press.

But that doesnt mean her parents cant speak to the press.

Yes, the anonymous surrogate has contacted her mother and father, and in turn, they gave an interview to Radar Online.

It might be the closest well ever come to hearing from the surrogate directly.

Fortunately, the parents have remained anonymous, which means the surrogate is not in violation of her agreement with Kim and Kanye.

"She is doing well," her mother tells Radar.

"[Tuesday] she told me she felt fine.

Asked if there were any complications with the delivery, the surrogates father replied, "No, everything went well.

As a matter of fact, she's at home resting.".

"She's safe at home with her husband," the mother added.

Unfortunately, there are two matters on which the proud parents played it coy.

For starters, they refused to reveal if their daughter was a fan of Kims before carrying the reality stars baby.

"She may have been!" her mother remarked vaguely, adding:.

"According to what my daughter told me, yes, they got along.

And per their daughters contract, the parents offered no information on how much Kim and Kanye paid for the use of her uterus.

We suppose thats okay.

Its not like we need an exact figure to tell us that the anonymous woman who had the honor of delivering the newest member of the Kardashian-West clan is now very, very wealthy.
