Cómo hacer fichas bibliográficas en Google Docs - Trabajos de Investigación - Duration: 6:51.

Youtubentes hello, how are you?

How are you?

This is Juanjo Boté and today I come to explain how you can make bibliographic records

with Google Docs.

Google Docs is a tool that we very available to us, because we have to

mail from Gmail, and from there we can create our bibliographic records.

Thus, as we have our bibliographic record we had at that

cardboard which I explained in a previous video, a document in electronic format.

So I leave you with the tutorial. [Noise sea]

In this video will you to see how you can make bibliographic records of articles

a tool that you have at your Google Docs is available.

The first thing we'll do is create a document.

This document we'll call it in this case, Bibliographical items ... graphic chips

Of articles.

Agree and what we will do is create in this case a table right?

that table will in our case 3 columns by 8 rows.

And we will see that we need.

Three columns.

The...

First 3 rows what we will do is dial the row.

Press the right button and go to the option merging cells.

We'll see why.

In this case more of the same.

The framework merge cells and the same here.

Hey!

Dale below the thumb.

To like!

Merge cells and then the last three rows because I'll do the same.

Once I have already prepared my table, what It is what we will do?

Well let's put first the first field will.

He is the author normally surname and the name.

According to the citation style you can find you and I ask the initial.

Well, you would gain the initial.

But let's do so now.

Then we have the title.

The title is the title of the article.

The next field that we create in our chips, will be the magazine, magazine or

where it has been published.

Like any scientific journal, it will a volume that we have to fill.

Numberof have a magazine.

And he will have one year of publication.

Then we will have is the pages.

All scientific journals have pages from where to where it has been published

Article.

Page this page such.

And finally the months.

There citation styles demanded by months.

Other styles do not.

Then the next section we'll see will be the source, it ie the link.

What does this link.

Remember that sometimes we provide a DOI, But it's not always like this.

For now let's put this way so that you may have reference.

Then we have the option keywords.

Keywords is how I recovered that document.

And finally we will have a summary choose where I'll put the summary article

I read.

And once I have the table already made, as the I can copy and paste into my document again and

again.

Let's look an example let's go here, the DOAJ.

If you need professional help with your appointments or your references, work

Master of work order degree, thesis ... right up here on the right of

your screen, you have a link where you can help.

And we will find for example the term libraries.

So...

Let's take for example this article itself.

The electronic book and its impact on libraries ...

Well, the title of the article would East.

And so I'm here.

I go to the article title.

I'll edit.

In this case, paste unformatted ... I will go well because it will catch us ... you will cleanse

the format.

I already have it.

Agree.

Magazine.

Magazine is Spanish magazine documentation scientific.

For exactly the same thing I'm here.

Paste unformatted.

Control also has an uppercase V but I do not usually use.

After volume.

The volume here in this case is the volume 30 No. 3 2007.

For volume 30.

Number 3.

Year 2007.

What pages have pages?

Well, pages were 343-363.

For 343-363.

Months.

Well, here fijaros months does not appear but to do what we can do is go

directly to the magazine and see months in which this magazine is published

and this does not come out July September.

Nothing copy it.

We have it here and we have here the months.

Very good.

This field is blank.

Source.

The source here is the link, which will this right here.

I copy it.

I copy it.

We put it here.

Keywords.

In this case we put the term libraries, agree?

And below the summary we would put we need to know what goes our

Article.

All right.

Let's review what we need.

We lack the authors.

Well, in this case the authors are Pérez-Arranz Fernando Moscoso and Purification.

Well, let's put them well not have problems after recovering when

Arranz Pérez.

In this case I will use.

Moscoso initial and purification and this If it will Moscoso.

And already I have my index card filled.

My Top 17 Books of 2017! (Mostly Bisexual/Queer!) - Duration: 19:18.

My name is Danika, and today I have my top 17 of 2017. So I'm a little bit

embarrassed about this being my top 17 of 2017. I actually made a video where I

ranted about how silly it is to continue to add numbers to your top 10, top 15, top

17 every year. And yet, here I am. I read about 115 books this year and I just

couldn't narrow it down to my top 10, so I ended up with 17—I could have done

more! There were more that I wanted to talk about. But I figured that was the

last acceptable stopping point. Probably no one wants to watch a top 20 of 2017

video. So here I am with my embarrassing, hypocritical top 17 of 2017. I read about

90-95% of the books this year from the library, so I don't have many of my top

ones with me. For number 17 I'm going with Difficult Women by Roxane Gay. This

is a collection of short stories. This is an extremely dark collection and should

have trigger warnings for rape, violence, as well as a scene of quite extreme fat-

shaming. It's definitely dark and difficult and has a lot to say about

misogyny and kind of the ways that women try to survive it, and being a difficult

woman: being someone who doesn't live up to what we expect women to be. It also

has moments of fabulism in it, which I wasn't expecting: it's not entirely

realism. There are also some queer stories—not

a ton of them, but there were a few, which I was very happy to see. And there are some

moments of hope in this collection. One story actually completely warmed my

heart and I just sighed happily after I finished it. No surprises that is one of

the queer stories. This is one that is not easy to get through, but I thought it

was really well done. It was very powerful. And Roxane Gay is definitely an

author I'm going to continue to follow. And number 16, I have Knit One,

Girl Two by Shira Glassman, and if you're as into the queer book internet as I am,

you will definitely be familiar with Shira Glassman. She's a fantastic author

who does the Mangoverse series, which is a queer fantasy series with lots of

lesbian and bisexual women characters. This is a little novella of hers that's

just a really cute, fun story. It has a lot of different niche interest groups

represented. So, obviously there's the queer women content, both lesbian and bi

women. The main character and the love interest are both artists: one is a yarn

dyer and one is a painter. There's also a lot about fandom, there's some fat

representation. This feels very slice of life and realistic. There's definitely a

romance here, but that's not everything that's happening. It's just as much about

the two main characters' relationships with their siblings or with fandom. This

was just a really fun, light read. You can read it in one sitting! It's only

about two dollars on Amazon, I think, so you should check it out if any of that

sounds interesting. After that is Star-Crossed by Barbara Dee. This is a

middle grade book with a bisexual girl as the main character, which is amazing,

and pretty much a first. And you can tell just from the cover,

which has the two girls dancing together, her and her crush, and that's so sweet, and

it's just incredible to have a middle grade book that has queer representation,

and that shows that on the front cover. This is also super cute and it's about

them acting out a Shakespeare production: Romeo and Juliet. It actually has a lot

of interesting conversation about Shakespeare and about the production.

There's very minimal homophobia in the book. It's cute, it's accepting, and it's

more about the dizzying experience of having a crush in middle school than it

is about coming out. For number 14 I have Meanwhile, Elsewhere which is a

collection of fantasy and sci-fi trans short stories. At least 10 of the 25

stories have sapphic women as the main characters, which is nice. This is a mix

of genres and of people are represented, but there's definitely more trans women

represented, and more sci-fi than fantasy and trans men or non-binary people. As

always with a collection like this, there is a mix: there are some stories that

really spoke to me. Some of them I felt like I could write whole essays about them:

they're just so interesting, the ideas addressed. And some stories completely

lost me, and I can see how other people would love them, but they were

just not personally appealing. Trigger warnings for this collection would

include transphobia, transmisogyny, rape, violence, gore, and suicide. In particular,

there was one story that had the main character who was raping people, and that

one I found particularly distressing. I have my full review linked down below, as

well as my reviews for any of the queer women books that I talk about in this

list. This was a huge book that covers a lot of ground.

Topside Press continues to put out really fascinating books that I will be

picking up as soon as they come out. My next one is sort of a silly pick, it's My

Lady's Choosing: An Interactive Romance Novel by Kitty Curran. This I read as a

review copy. I'm not sure if it's out yet. It's super fun. It's—as the title

suggests—a choose your own adventure romance novel. And there is one path

where you can have a lady love interest. I expected to just follow that path and

only read the queer part, but I actually ended up backtracking and following

pretty much all of the different paths you can take, because I just found them

really fascinating. They all have their own plots and mysteries, and you kind of

go into different genres depending on which love interest you go after. Also

there's an option you can take where you basically end up in a lesbian pirate

gang, so definitely try to find that one. This was just really fun, and I enjoyed

spending the whole night just following along the different choices.

I think choose your own adventure books— they should be more common. They're so

fun. Then there's Tomboy Survival Guide by Ivan Coyote. Ivan Coyote is one of my

favorite authors. They have this incredible writing style that is

beautiful and also approachable. They just really show this conviction to

remain kind even when the world is cruel. Also this book is beautiful just as an

object. There's like a ruler for the back cover, there are all these little

diagrams throughout. So of course I love that. Tt's also interesting because

there's kind of this idea in queer culture that being queer takes place in your

20s and that's about it. You don't really hear a lot from anyone

who is either a queer kid or a queer adult, who is past their 20s or max 30s.

Ivan Coyote is in their 40s and it's really nice to see this depiction of a

queer future, of what it looks like to survive that queer adolescence and grow

up. And they also have this much more nuanced understanding of queer politics

having seen it through more time. I can't recommend Ivan Coyote's books strongly

enough, but this is a great one to start with. It has a lot about gender and

politics, but also just personal stories. They are, above all, an amazing

storyteller. Another kind of fun one was the Mockingbird series by Chelsea Cain.

I am including this as one entry because this series was cancelled far too soon.

There are only two volumes, but the second volume... only the first half is

actually Mockingbird, and then they just fill in the volume by throwing in

an Avengers comic that had like the old Mockingbird character that has nothing

to do with the series. I would highly recommend just skipping it: just get the

first and second volume, read the actual story all the way through, and then stop

and just put it down. The first volume has this puzzle box structure where the

first issue you keep seeing Mockingbird as she has brought in on these random

doctor appointments, and she is getting pulled from whatever she was doing at

that moment, so you just kind of see her in scuba gear in one part of the issue

and, then the next part she'll have just like a little army of corgis around her,

and then through the next issues, you see what she was doing when she was

pulled into the doctor's office each of those times. So you get to see it expand,

and kind of see how these stories slot together.

I loved the main character. She has a great, sarcastic sense of humor.

I laughed out loud several times. I also liked that she was a scientist. I liked

the first volume best, but the second volume has a story that includes

mer-corgies. And it has her wearing a shirt that says

"Ask me about my feminist agenda" on the cover, which apparently was hugely

controversial, and also it has just the ideal ending for a love triangle, Another

fun one was the Lumberjanes series. I read volumes 1 through 6 just in the

last month or so. You might actually remember, in my queer comics collection

video I mentioned that although I've been collecting these, and they seem

great, I hadn't actually read them. So after that I did correct my mistake: I

did read them. And I love them! They're just so fun.

The first volume is probably my least favorite? Which is not saying much

because I still really liked it. It's just these fun fantasy adventure story

is set in an all-girls camp, and there's a great diversity of characters here,

including a trans character. It isn't until, I think, a couple of volumes in

that you find out that she is trans. And there is also a romance between two of

the girls, which is just very much in the background for most of the series, but

they do get their own storyline in I think volume 3, and they do kiss on

volume 6. So it's kind of a little bit of ambiguous at first, but it gets to be

much more blatantly a romantic relationship. But sweet and fun and I loved

it and I will continue to read all of these and hopefully it just continues forever.

And then of course I have to mention The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. This is

one of those books that honestly could have been half as good and it still

would have been great. It's complex, it's nuanced, it has distinct, well-rounded

characters. I really enjoyed the dynamics that were happening between characters.

It's, of course, thought-provoking and absolutely wrenching, powerful—I'm

running out of adjectives. So you've heard the hype about The Hate U Give,

and I would have to echo it. So another one that I read the advanced reader copy

of and I don't think it's out yet is Kim Reaper: Grim Beginnings. This is a comic

about a part-time Grim Reaper and the girl who has a crush on her. This was so

ridiculously cute. I was just giggling to myself as I was reading it. Becca is

just the most adorable main character in a comic I've ever seen. She's got the

little hair buns, like kind of Sailor Moon style. And she has, like, a little tummy

and you can see her stomach outline—you can see just the little outline of her

tummy and [stutters] that... just affected me. So much. I'm like: here is this character who

is so cute. And she has a tummy! And you can see it!

And she's still, like, wearing adorable clothes and is not bothered by it, and

everyone knows she's super cute. And it's funny and goofy and it has a sweet

little romance, as well as these ridiculous adventures, including fighting

a bodybuilder and his army of cats, and you should just check it out. What more can I say?

So apparently I either only know or only

love books that are either extreme of dark and difficult and fluffy and fun,

because the next book on my list is Hunger: A Memoir of My Body by Roxane Gay,

and yes, this is the second Roxane Gay book on this list. This is a dark,

sometimes brutal book about her relationship with her body. And it deals

a lot with trauma, especially rape, disordered eating, fat hatred, but despite

the subject matter, I kept getting pulled in by her casual, conversational style.

Roxane Gay is bisexual, and even though that's not the main focus of the book,

she does talk about her coming out and some of her relationships with other

women. This was an incredibly powerful book, but I would really think about

before going into it how it would affect you to read about disordered eating,

about fat hatred, about hatred of your own body, about rape. But overall, I

would highly, highly recommend this one.

Bouncing back to something a little more

fun: River of Teeth by Sarah Gailey. This is a killer hippo Western. It's kind of

an alternate history. There was a proposal at some point to bring hippos

over to the U.S. to be used as meat, and this book explores what that would have

been like if it happened, and the U.S. was basically overrun by feral hippos. It has

this caper storyline with this diverse cast of mostly people in color, mostly

queer people. It includes a nonbinary character who uses they/them pronouns.

And the main character is a bisexual guy who's also a person of color.

This was super fun, very quick to get through, though it does go a little bit

dark in places, and there is some gore. But it was such a quick, exciting read.

This was definitely one of the books that I had the most fun reading this

year. And from fun to exploring your own mortality: my next book is Smoke Gets In

Your Eyes and Other Lessons From the Crematory by Caitlin Doughty. I would

say this is the book that changed my perspective the most this year. I've been

following her YouTube channel, Ask a Mortician, for a while, and then I listen

to the audiobook, which was fantastic. She has a great voice for both the

narration and the YouTube videos. Basically this book is about how we in

the West have a really fucked up relationship with death and with

mourning and grief. That our relationship with death is built around denial and

how much that hurts us. That we don't have healthy rituals in place to deal with

grief, and with accepting our own mortality. Basically this is about being

death positive, which if you're not familiar, sounds completely ridiculous,

until you read this book, or until you watch some of her YouTube videos and see

how it actually makes perfect sense. That we need to have a better relationship

with death. That we need to think about it more, and that will help us to live

better lives. It is a memoir and she does talk about some of her mental health issues

and how this journey with the death industry affected her and how it got to

some pretty dark places. I thought it was incredibly told and had a lot of really

important ideas that I will be considering long after I finished it.

Number four on my list is Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado.

This is a collection of short stories. It blends feminism, queerness, and fabulism.

This one I also listen to it as an audiobook, but I wish I had read it in

print, because there's a novella-length story that is all of the episodes of SVU

rewritten, and although I really liked the idea, and I did start to come around

on the story by the end of it, it was so long, and I

know what I was gonna end, and I don't watch Law & Order SVU. So if I had been

reading it in person, I would have just skimmed it. And I would have liked

to spend more time with the other stories that were very thoughtful and

that I would have liked to kind of read a little bit, and then think about, and

then move on. This book is very bisexual, which I was really happy about. I

realized that this year I actually read a lot of bisexual books, which makes

sense because it's also the year that I've really come to terms with being bisexual

and accepted that label, so I actually have fewer lesbian books on this list

than usual and more bisexual books. And that's kind of nice, to have more books

that reflect my own identity. But almost every story in this collection has the

queer woman as the main character, usually a bisexual woman. I think my

favorite story was the first one: "The Husband Stitch," which retells the urban

legend about the girl with the ribbon around her neck. If you read Scary

Stories To Tell In the Dark, you'll remember that one, but this really

fleshes it out, and also weaves in all of these other urban legends and stories,

and really exposes the misogyny at the heart of a lot of those stories. This

book is beautifully unsettling, gorgeously written, it's definitely a

book that makes me want to pick up anything she ever writes.

Number three on

my list is Everfair by Nisi Shawl, which I have difficulty talking about

because it's so ambitious, and far-reaching, and nuanced, and complex.

It's a steampunk, alternate history of the Belgian occupation of the Congo. It

also has several queer women as the main characters. It switches between different

characters' perspectives. There's tons of point-of-view characters—I actually lost

count. But it means that you get to see these issues from multiple perspectives,

through different lenses. This spans decades, and it covers politics, war, love,

grief, betrayal. The steampunk element is actually a lot more in the background

than I was expecting. I would say that the relationship between the two women

narrators is at the heart of the book. It is not a simple, fluffy, feel-good romance:

it's complex, it's deeply flawed, but it's also passionate and genuine, and you see

how these two people try to fit together, and all the different things that play

out in their relationship around, again, race, power dynamics, and their specific

places in the world. This is a very thoughtful book. It took me a while to

get through. I think some people criticized it for not having enough

action? But that's not really what it's trying to do. It's much more of a

meditation on this idea. It almost acts more like a thought experiment. Again,

I'll link my full review down below, because I have many, many thoughts about

this book. It definitely blew my mind.

Another really fun one was Sugartown

by Hazel Newlevant. This is a queer, polyamorous, BDSM, fluffy love story. It's

fun, it's super quick: this is a tiny little book. What I loved most about this

book was that people treat each other with kindness! They check in. They are

flawed, but they communicate, and they try to do their best by each other. The art

is also super cute and warm, and I just wanted to crawl into the pages

and curl up there. I love this. This is now definitely one of my go-to happy

reads. And finally, my number one read of 2017 is Fierce Femmes and Notorious Liars:

A Trans Girl's Confabulous Memoir by Kai Cheng Thom. I had never understood what a

fictionalized memoir was until I read this book. It blends together in fairy

tale elements—beached mermaids—with this hard, unshakable truth. The narrative of

poetic, dreamlike prose describes transmisogyny,

racism, police brutality, murder, self-harm. It really reworks the idea of the trans

memoir and of memoir in general. And it ended up just being a beautiful, brutal,

unforgettable read.

So those were my top 17 of 2017. I'm sure this was an

incredibly long video ,so thank you for sticking around for the whole thing. Let

me know what some of your favorite reads from 2017 were and what you thought of

these if you've read any of them, and thank you for watching!

What I Want To Be When I Grow Up - Duration: 5:52.

Say you're a newly graduated student and your dream is to be a CFO of an accounting firm

but you have no clue as to how you're gonna get there,

or say you're already working and you wanna figure out how to get further in your career

or switch jobs altogether.

Well today we're gonna let you in on a little hidden secret that most people don't know about.

If you've never heard of SkillsFuture, it's basically an initiative that helps Singaporeans

improve their skills.

But what many people don't know is that the SkillsFuture website actually has a section

called Skills Framework.

And this is a hidden gem.

Skills Framework is like an encyclopedia for career information that you can use

to plan your next step.

And it's so much better than Googling because the information provided on the Skills Framework

website is legit and customised for Singapore.

You know I've always loved tech,

but I also always thought it'd be really cool to be a cop.

Really?!

Yah, so cool!

Except I don't really wanna go out there and run after bad guys...

cause I'm scared.

That's what I thought.

Wonder if there's a job that'll kind of let me be like a cybercop

where I can sit indoors in air conditioning and be all comfy and stuff,

but still get to fight bad guys on the Internet.

Look at my dream, look!

Ooh, I'm a hacker!

I'm gonna hack into this system and rule the world!

Password.

What's the password?

Rainbows.

Nope.

Peanut butter.

Yes, I'm in!

That's what you think!

You see your mouse moving?

You're not controlling it

I am.

No, you don't get to hack me back!

What should I do with all this new found power?

Buy a bouncy castle!

And send it to your address

which is also found on file.

And I have called the Net police.

They're on their way.

Well I'd love to be a pre-school teacher because I love kids and I actually do quite a bit

of babysitting when I'm not acting.

Check out my dream.

Good morning, children!

It's a sun-shiney day!

And how are you today?

No, when I say "How are you today?" you have to say "Fine, thank you."

How are you today?

I need to pee!

Me too!

Oh no...

You take her to the toilet, okay?

Let's continue with the lesson.

So look here on the board, it says "A, B, C."

Repeat after me.

1, 2, 3...

No, no, no, no.

It's A, B, C.

1...

Mmm...

No no no.

Blackmark for you,

it's ABC!

Except, we haven't got the faintest idea how to get there

or if we're even cut out for it.

That's where Skills Framework comes in.

So we're here at the Skills Framework website

and once you're here you scroll all the way down and you find a list of the different

sectors in Singapore.

I'm not sure if there's an exact job for what I'd like to do, but if there is, I'm sure

it's gonna be under Infocomm Technology so let's check that section out.

So you scroll down and under Sector Information, you get an overview of the industry as a whole.

Let's open that.

Whoa, it's like a whole brochure.

It tells you key statistics about the industry.

Where is the part where it says what you can be?

If you scroll down some more, you can see what the specific jobs, so it says "View the

Occupation / Job Roles"

and I think I would be a Forensic Investigator.

Sounds pretty cool, right?

Like a digital cyber cop.

The Forensic Investigator views issues from multiple perspectives and actively communicates

his thoughts and engages with other team members.

I would be perfect, you know why?

Why?

Because I have multiple perspectives as I have many aspects to my personality

and I love to talk!

So I would actively communicate everything.

So that means she's a little schizo.

This part is pretty clear, it shows all the tasks

so let's say you wanna be a Forensic Investigator it kinda shows you exactly what you would

have to do.

And then if you go down it just tells you what kind of skills you need.

So if you go to the Career Pathways section you can find out how you can work your way

up to your goal.

So it basically shows you the typical career progression within the industry.

Since I want to be a Forensic Investigator, I need to

start off as a Security Executive.

That sounds pretty cool too.

And then work my way up to Forensic Investigator.

Actually I think you'd be perfect for it.

I think so too.

Yeah, because she's actually really detailed,

she likes to do a lot of research, she reads a lot, so...

And I've watched a lot of Law & Order

so I know how it works.

I guess you would be...

Early Childhood Care & Education?

That's right.

Oh look at all the happy kids.

Yeah, so cute!

Oh my gosh, your guide is so cool!

My guide is so much cuter!

Okay, I'm not tech-savvy so you can...

Scroll?

Yes.

You start at Infant / Toddler Educarer.

Educarer is a word?

You learn new things every day.

So it basically shows you how you can climb your way up all the way to Senior Centre Leader.

I wanna see the qualities that it takes for you to be a good educarer.

Great sense of humour

No, humour means you're funny not you laugh-

I did, I am funny.

I laughed at myself.

I laughed at my joke that I had in my head.

At the same time you tick the high level of energy box.

Perseverance.

And that's how you know she's really good, because for 2 years now she's been correcting

the way I pronounce things and she has not given up.

And I'm very patient as I do it.

I agree.

So looking at the website, I thought it was gonna be a whole lot of information overload

that I didn't understand,

but actually it was pretty clear.

You look at the website and you end off going "Hey, I know what my next step is."

So actually I think Skills Framework is very new, so...

I'm looking forward to there being more and more sectors added in.

Like if you wanna be an actress like Roz, what can you do to get there, that kinda thing.

Yup, so a lot more sectors are still in the pipeline, so just keep checking back to see

what are the new things being added in.

Okay so that's all we have for you today.

If you wanna find out more about what you can do,

you can go to the Skills Future website here.

Ta-dah!

You just so wanted to do that.

Yah, it's very exciting for me you know.

Go check out the website and maybe,

just maybe you'll be able to find a job you really like!

Bye!

A CONFESSION: My Absolute Worst Study Habit (ft. Koala) - Duration: 9:34.

It's so empty...

Hey Guys, I'm Loretta and welcome to my channel KemushiChan!

Today I'm in my empty, barren room

to share a confession!

I'm Loretta, a girl from the U.S.A

and I'm a graduate student here in Japan!

At the beginning of 2017 I made a video

about the 7 study habits I was going to QUIT in 2017

and specifically you MAY remember me saying:

"I am also guilty of CRAMMING!"

Cramming do not cram! Study a little bit every day.

I was going to stop cramming and finally get some sleep!

But in reality???

Oh I just remembered I have a presentation tomorrow!

Eh.. I'll just do it in the morning!!

I have been doing exactly the one thing

that I told you guys NOT to do!

I am completely guilty of cramming

not sleeping, and not taking care of myself!

The thing is, I have a very personal story for you guys

that I HAVEN't shared becuase I've been embarassed!

Okay, here's the truth!

The JLPT, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test

There's a top-tier level called the n1 which is like the maximum level

This is what can get you jobs in Japan

and proves that you hit the top most mark.

The truth is.. I failed!!

I did NOT pass the N1

and to this day it kind of haunts me because

I missed the mark by 3 itsy bitsy points

over STUPID mistakes!

The secions I NORMALLY do well on (reading and listening sections)

I was so slow and sluggish

that I ran out of time and didn't answer all the questions

as for the listening section,

it started playing, and I don''t know what happened,

but I just completely... spaced out!

Nothing! I did not hear a single thing!

Then suddenly it's like: "Select your answer: A, B C or D"

meanwhile I'm like - wait WHAT was the question?!

Meanwhile the next question already started

and that kept happening over and over again!

I just completely FAILED

I don't want to talk about it.. how embarassing!

So I have to redo that!

There are so many times

Where I missed the mark or didn't do my best

or even if I got a good grade at the end of the semester

With thins that were really important to me

I just failed because I simply hadn't slept

or a mental mess and hadn't taken care of myself!

I'm gonna get sharper and quicker

And I'm gonna get back to level of performance that

I know I'm capable of if I just had normal regular sleep

So that's why I'm just so excited to make this video

because well, today's video is actually sponsored

by a company that saw that I'm studying

and asked if I wanted to get some better sleep!

and test out a bed and see if that helped out at all!

There's an Australian company called Koala.

They make these like innovative

You jump on it, and your wine glass doesn't tip over, don't disturb your neighbors, sleep miracle beds,

OBVIOUSLY I'm not going to pass that up!

The other day I was doing some Christmas shopping

But when I came back there was a truck outside

and it was Koala!!!

Sound like a truck is outside...

It's here???

Or not???

I have been staring at it all day

and I'm so excited to finally get in there!

Let's do it!

It even comes with a Koala!

It's alive!!!

It's soooo cozzzyyy!

I don't think I'll be getting up for a while!

It feels like cool to the back, not like not cold

but nice and like... refreshing almost!

Hear that??

You're supposed to be able to jump on one end without disturbing the other end

but I want to see if that's really true

I can't believe that that would actually happen...

Let's give it a test!

Alright, so here's the wineglass.

I'll put it right there where you can see it

It's moving a little bit, but like

Honestly, it seems pretty like sturdy!

This might actually work!

PLEASE DON'T SPILL!!!

Alright, this is the last time you ever saw it!

A dry bed!!

I'm going to jump!

THREE

TWO

One!!!!

Wait... seriously?!

Okay, keep a close eye on it!

Are you kidding me with this?!

Oh my gosh!!

It's real water and it didn't spill!

Dude, this is the real deal!

They weren't joking, it does not move at all!

*chokes*

I was jumping all OVER that bed!

Yeah, so just like right off the bat.

The bed is just---- I love it!!

I didn't expect it to be this comfortable,

and I didn't expect it to actually beat the wine test!

That's ridiculous!!

It's comfortable, it's firm

But it has this like squishiness top to it

that grabs and pulls you in and never lets you go!

I'll never be on time to anything after this

I'll just be in bed all day!

For me, personally, being here in Japan

I never bought something as big as a bed before

because like....what if it doesn't work?

Can you even like throw it away or return it?

But when Koala asked me if I wanted to test out this bed

they pointed out that anyone who buys this bed

you have a 120-day...or NIGHT trial, I should say

to make sure that you actually do like it

The fact that it comes in this box

I thought it wouldn't fit the door or break something

but it's not that difficult to carry

and you can get it around sharp corners if you have a staircase

And Japan is notoriously MOIST and mold prone

which is another reason I never bought a big bed

I'm just glad that they pointed out it's mold resistant

being mold resistant is a huge plus for me

When I was first hearing about Koala

They sent this list of perks and really good points

The beds are 100% recyclable

with the trash situation in Japan that's a huge plus

it's also vegan and 100% animal cruelty free

So much so that, for every bed that is purchased

A portion of it in Japan goes to the WWF and

Also to their koala sanctuary

where they're taking care of Koala's

Not this guy, though! He's mine!

I've never seen a bed that acts like this before

and it's JUST in time too because

I have a new semester coming up

and I have to start my graduate thesis in 2 weeks!!

So thank you so much to koala for sending me

the best present ever

I can finally start getting some sleep!

And ...yuugen jikkou!

I can finally start practicing what I preach

and finally get some good sleep and life balance!

Hopefully.. I'll start improving all across the board!!

So I'm going to leave a link to koala below

if you want to check out the beds for yourself

I highly recommend it - seriously!

If you have any questions or want me to test it again

I'll just jump again in my next school vlog!

I'll just jump some more if you want it!

Thank you so much for watching today!

I'll see you guys well rested in my next videos!

Okay, bye!!

Lorde Called A Bigot - Duration: 9:43.

>> MUSICAL ARTIST LORDE IS BEING CALLED A BIGOT IN A FULL-PAGE

AD THAT WAS PUBLISHED IN THE WASHINGTON POST.

WHO TOOK OUT THE AD?

RABBI SCHOOLEY, A HUGE PUBLIC FIGURE,

AND ORTHODOX JEWISH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS VERY PRO-ISRAEL AND

AGAINST ANYONE SUPPOSEDLY WHO WOULD EVER DARE TO BOYCOTT

ISRAEL'S RIGHT-WING GOVERNMENT.

>> I JUST WANT TO SAY MY POINT OF VIEW.

ONE, THE RABBI IS NOT PRO-ISRAEL, I AM NOT SAYING HE

IS ANTI-ISRAEL, HE IS JUST

PRO-ISRAELI RIGHT-WING.

IT IS LIKE SAYING BEING FAVOR OF DICK CHENEY IS BEING

PRO-AMERICAN.

THERE IS A RIGHT WING AND A LEFT WING IN AMERICA, SAME IN ISRAEL.

>> HE IS PRO-RIGHT-WING.

EVEN IF IT GOES AGAINST ISRAEL.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.

>>AND SECONDLY, THE RABBI HAS BEEN A LONG AROUND A LONG TIME.

I KNOW HIM A LITTLE BIT.

>>YOU KNOW HE GAVE LOVE ADVICE ON OPRAH'S SHOW?

>>HE IS A CHARACTER.

>>SHALOM IN THE HOME.

>> I GOT IT.

BUT WITHOUT THE BACKING OF BILLIONAIRE BENEFACTORS HE

WOULD BE NOTHING.

HE DOESN'T HAVE A LARGE AUDIENCE AT ALL.

YOU THINK HE HAS THE MONEY TO BUY A FULL-PAGE WASHINGTON

POST AD?

NO.

IT IS OTHER PEOPLE BEHIND-THE-SCENES.

>> LORDE, YOUNG POPSTAR.

SHE WAS SET TO PERFORM IN TEL AVIV IN JUNE BUT THERE WAS A BIT

OF CONTROVERSY BECAUSE THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN BOYCOTTING ISRAEL

OVER ITS TREATMENT OF PALESTINIANS URGED HER TO NOT

PERFORM THERE.

AND SHE EVENTUALLY DECIDED TO FOLLOW SUIT AND SHE CANCELED

HER APPEARANCE IN TEL AVIV.

SHE SAID THE FOLLOWING IN REGARDS

TO HER DECISION.

NOTHING PARTICULARLY RUDE OR MEAN, NOT EVEN CLOSE TO

ANTI-SEMITIC IN THAT STATEMENT WHATSOEVER.

BUT RABBI SCHOOLEY DECIDED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS

OPPORTUNITY TO PUT OUT THE SIDE AND ALLEGE THAT SHE IS

ANTI-SEMITIC FOR CANCELING HER SHOW AND THAT NEW ZEALAND AS A

WHOLE IS ANTI-SOMATIC.

NEW ZEALAND IS WHERE SHE IS FROM.

THE HEADLINE OF THIS AD SAID THIS.

>>WHO SAID THEY WERE IGNORING SYRIA?

SHE MOVED HER CONCERT FROM TEL AVIV TO DAMASCUS?

NO.

ISSUE DOING A CONCERT IN SYRIA?

NO.

DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT HER OPINION ON SYRIA IS?

NO.

IT IS A FORM OF DISTRACTION TO SAY ISRAEL MIGHT BE OCCUPYING

PEOPLE, BUT SQUIRREL OR IN THIS CASE SYRIA.

>>I WAS CURIOUS ABOUT THIS ALLEGATION THAT NEW ZEALAND IS

ANTI-SOMATIC.

I WANTED TO KNOW WHY AND IT TURNS OUT NEW ZEALAND HAPPEN TO

BE ONE OF THE COUNTRIES THAT

VOTED ALONG OTHER COUNTRIES AGAINST OR IN FAVOR OF A UN

RESOLUTION CALLING FOR THE US TO WITHDRAW ITS DECISION TO

RECOGNIZE JERUSALEM AS THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL.

ALSO IN 2016 NEW ZEALAND VOTED ALONG WITH OTHER UN COUNTRIES TO

CALLOUT ISRAEL FOR BUILDING ILLEGAL SETTLEMENTS.

THAT IS THE REASON WHY NEW ZEALAND IS CONSIDERED

ANTI-SEMITIC IN THE RABBI'S EYES.

>> ONE POINT, CAN A WHOLE COUNTRY BE ANTI-SEMITIC?

THAT SOUNDS A LITTLE PREPOSTEROUS.

LET ALONE NEW ZEALAND.

SECOND OF ALL, 127 COUNTRIES VOTED FOR THAT

RESOLUTION.

BUT FOR THE RABBI AND HIS BACKERS THAT IS WHAT THEY WANT

TO DO, SMEAR THE WHOLE WORLD.

THE WORLD HAS A HISTORY OF ANTI-SEMITISM THAT RUNS SUPER

DEEP.

BUT TO THEN USE THAT AS AN EXCUSE AND A SHIELD WHEN ALL

THESE COUNTRIES ARE LEGITIMATELY WORRIED THAT YOU ARE BREAKING

INTERNATIONAL LAW AND ARE PRESSING OTHER PEOPLE, YOU ARE

ACTUALLY DOING THE CAUSE OF ALLEVIATING ANTI-SEMITISM DAMAGE

BECAUSE YOU ARE CRYING WOLF AND ARE SAYING THE WHOLE WORLD IS

ANTI-SEMETIC.

>> LORDE IS NOT RANDOM, SHE IS AWESOME.

BUT IT REALLY DOES MINIMIZE REAL ANTI-SEMITISM WHICH IS ALIVE

AND WELL TODAY.

BUT IF YOU DECIDE YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE YOUR SHOW IN TEL AVIV

BECAUSE YOU DON'T LIKE THE WAY THE ISRAELI GOVERNMENT IS

HANDLING THINGS WITH THE PALESTINIANS, THAT IS YOUR

RIGHT.

YOU SHOULD NOT BE FORCED TO GO PERFORM SOMEWHERE OR YOU WILL BE

DEEMED AN ANTI-SEMITE IN A

FULL-PAGE AD.

THAT IS LUDICROUS.

SO WHO ARE HIS BACKERS?

IT TURNS OUT THE RABBI'S ORGANIZATIONS ARE FUNDED BY

SHELDON ADELSTEIN.

WHO DO WE KNOW IS CONSIDERABLY QUESTIONABLE TOWARD THE JEWISH

COMMUNITY HERE IN THE UNITED

STATES?

THE ALT RIGHT.

STEVE BANNON HAS BEEN ON THE RECORD SAYING THAT BREITBART IS

THE PLACE WHERE THE ALT RIGHT HAVE A VOICE.

THE RABBI SHOULD DISLIKE STEVE BANNON, BUT HE DOESN'T.

HE DEFENDED BANNON WHEN HE WAS CALLED UP BY THE

ANTI-DEFAMATION LEAGUE.

WHEN IT COMES TO ACTUAL

ANTI-SOMATIC BEHAVIOR HE IS ALL

FOR IT BECAUSE HIS FUNDERS ARE ALL FOR IT.

WHEN IT COMES TO SOMEONE LIKE LORDE, SHE IS ANTI-SEMITE.

>> BANNON IN HIS DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS, HIS WIFE SAID HE

DIDN'T WANT THE KIDS TO ATTEND A JEWISH SCHOOL BECAUSE HE

DIDN'T WANT THEM BEING AROUND JEWS.

A DIVORCE PROCEEDING, THOSE THINGS GET UGLY, TAKE IT WITH

A GRAIN OF SALT.

BUT MILO ñ BUZZY DID A TERRIFIC ANALYSIS OF THIS ñ MILO WHEN HE

WAS DOING THE COMPILATION OF

WHAT THE ALT RIGHT STANDS FOR FOR BREITBART CONFERRED WITH

NEO-NAZIS TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE ALT RIGHT POSITIONS WERE AND

THEN PUT THEM INTO THAT TREATISE FOR WHAT THE ALT RIGHT STANDS

FOR.

THE TREATISE THAT STEVE BANNON'S WEBSITE PROMOTED WAS WRITTEN

PARTLY BY NEO-NAZIS.

BUT WHAT DOES ADELSON WANT?

HE WANTS THE RIGHT-WING POSITION IN

ISRAEL, HE WANTS THE UNIONS

CRUSHED, HE WANTS DEREGULATION, LOWER TAXES.

IF TRUMP AND BANNON ARE MONSTERS AND POTENTIALLY ANTI-SEMITES,

TRUMP WENT TO A GATHERING OF REPUBLICAN JEWISH LEADERS AND

SAID IF ANYONE IN THE ROOM KNOWS HOW TO RENEGOTIATE IT IS THIS

ONE.

IF ANYONE IN NEW ZEALAND WOULD'VE SAID THAT THE RABBI

WOULD'VE TAKEN OUT SEVEN-PAGE ADS IN THE WASHINGTON POST.

BUT THEY BACK ALL THOSE GUYS ANYWAY BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT

INTERESTED IN MAKING SURE THE JEWS ARE PROTECTED.

THEY ARE INTERESTED IN USING ANTI-SEMITISM AS A CLUB TO BE

OVER THE HEADS OF PEOPLE WITH IT.

AND THEY WANT TO INTIMIDATE ANYONE ELSE WHO MIGHT SAY YOU

SHOULD JOIN THE BOYCOTT MOVEMENT.

OR YOU SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT DOING ECONOMIC ACTIVITY IN

ISRAEL AS LONG AS THEY CONTINUE THE ILLEGAL OCCUPATION OF THE

PALESTINIANS.

THESE PEOPLE DON'T HAVE AN ISSUE WITH ISRAEL.

THEY JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THE PALESTINIANS ALSO HAVE RIGHTS.

From Homeless to Hopeful: How One Weekend On Fire Island Changed Gay Teen's Life. - Duration: 7:02.

Hi, I'm Scott Riedel.

I'm from Ironton, Ohio.

It's a small town in southern Ohio.

I moved to New York about twenty-five years ago and met my partner Gil. Gil was born and

raised in New York City.

I thought, how can I get to know Gil better and how can he get to know me better?

The only way I could figure it out was I told him to take two weeks off work.

He said, "Why?"

I said, "Just take two weeks off work."

I drive up in my little convertible and say, "Get in.

We're going for a road trip."

So it started in West Virginia, where I went to college, took him all through the hills

of West Virginia.

We went to see - we went whitewater rafting in the New River Gorge, then drove down to

my bible college in Tennessee - I went to bible college in Tennessee.

Then I thought, how can I really top this off?

He could really get to know my roots.

So we, of course, went to - Dollywood!

So we're in the little cart driving into Dollywood, from the parking lot, driving into

Dollywood.

I hear this guy talking in front of me to this woman.

I said, you know, "Excuse me.

How much does it cost to get in here?"

He goes, "You're not from around here, are you?"

I said, "No.

I went to college not very far from here."

He goes, "C'mon.

I'm gonna [unintelligible].

We work here."

So Earl took us in.

We were at Dollywood for probably, maybe, a couple, three hours, two hours, going to

the shows.

Earl's taking us around, showing us off, showing everything to us.

And there's a guy playing the fiddle on the stage.

He snuck over to me and he said, "Scott?"

I said, "What?"

"That's my hunny."

I said, "Oh!

Your hunny!"

Nothing had come up to that point.

"That's my hunny."

I said, "You know, Gil's kinda my hunny."

He goes, "I figured."

We had the most fabulous day ever.

Gil said to me, you know, we'll go, buy a few gifts and we'll leave.

Well, we left after the fireworks because it was such an incredible day.

Just off the cuff, I said to Earl, "If you're ever in New York City, you've got to let

us return this favor."

Cut to about three months later, I get a phone call.

"Scott?

It's Earl.

I'm coming to New York!"

I said, "Oh my gosh, that's fantastic."

We get the dates, we get everything all right.

I heard a knock, knock, knock on the door.

I open the door.

There's Earl.

"Earl!"

And there's this kid standing with him.

I said, "Who's this?"

He said, "It's my boyfriend."

I said, "Earl, may I speak to you for a minute in the back room?"

I took him in the back room.

I said, "Earl, who is that and how old is he?"

"His name is Nathan.

He's 20 years old."

I said, "Earl, how old is he?"

He said, "He's 18 years old."

I said, "Earl, how old is he?"

He said, "17 years old."

I said, "Stop right there.

I don't need to know any more.

I don't want the law showing up here."

He said, "You don't understand, Scott.

I found him sleeping in the bathroom at Dollywood."

I said, "Why was he sleeping in the bathroom at Dollywood?"

He said, "His parents kicked him out."

His mom and dad separated.

His dad married a very religious woman.

His mom married a preacher.

And they disapproved of his lifestyle so he was living in the bathroom at Dollywood.

I said, "Earl, that's terrible.

Who could throw their child out for being gay?"

So Earl says to me.

"What're we going to do this weekend?"

I said, "Well, we're going to Fire Island."

Fire Island is a, basically a fancy sandbar about sixty miles from New York City.

It's full of big, expensive houses.

It's notorious for its outlandish lifestyles.

To be on Fire Island, you have to have a certain amount of money or a certain amount of good

looks or a certain amount of something.

So we get in the car.

The kid, Nathan, probably said ten words driving out to Fire Island.

That's about an hour drive, hour and a half drive.

We get off the ferry at Fire Island and I say to Nathan, "Do you see this shoulder

right here?"

He said, "Yes, sir?"

I said, "You don't leave this shoulder this whole weekend.

This is your shoulder this weekend."

He went, "Okay, sir.

Okay."

So I take him to our house.

At that time, our house, we had probably, I don't know, eight or nine housemates.

It's a big house that was on Fire Island.

We were renting a share out there.

I layed down the law to the housemates.

Best behavior.

Told them the history of what we were doing, what the boy was doing out there with me.

Then I proceeded on Saturday to take him to every rich, successful artist, lawyer, doctor.

They were all so welcoming and accommodating.

It was like watching a flower unfold that weekend with that kid.

He started talking more.

He started asking more questions.

He started laughing.

We come back to New York.

The drive back was completely different than the drive out.

The flower had unfolded, let's just say it had unfolded.

We get back to New York.

They leave, I think it was a Tuesday after that weekend.

Then about, maybe a month later, I call Earl in Tennessee.

I said, "How's Nathan doing?"

He said, "What did you do to him?"

I said, "What do you mean?"

He goes, "Oh.

He came back to Tennessee, bought a car, got an apartment, and got another job, and is

doing really well."

Fire Island did that to him.

Not me, not Earl, not Gil.

But the community.

It was important for Nathan to see not just these rich, successful actors, lawyers, doctors.

It was also important for him to see people that have it together.

And in that sense of them being role models, he could reflect on them and the struggles

that they have gone through.

To see these people happy, successful, not letting anything hold them back, that's

why it's important to me.

I was very proud of my community.

Very, very proud.

I hope it is already becoming an amazing year for you guys.

I hope that if 2017 wasn't the best, I hope 2018 is that much better.

So basically in today's video, I'm talking about habits to become a healthier and better version of yourself.

And I am in no way, shape, or form saying that you need to make your body look better,

or make yourself better in any way, shape, or form...

I am just talking about different ways that you could make yourself feel better about yourself,

If that is something that you choose to do.

Because I know that that is something I want to do,

and something that a lot of my followers have been asking for me to do.

So I decided to put a video together of 10 different ways I've used in the past, and things I think you guys might benefit from.

And that's just about it.

So just before we start off, if I sound stuffed up at all, I'm just getting over a really really bad head cold,

but that is finally getting better, and I can actually talk now.

So that is why I sound a little bit stuffed up if you do hear that.

So with all that being said, and no further ado; let's get started.

So the first habit to get into is something that I've actually gotten into a lot recently,

And it is to drink three litres of water a day.

Now, I'm not exactly sure why the number is 3,

Cause I'm not a dietician or anything of the sort.

This is not like professional advice.

But the personal trainer I have did suggest the number.

And I've also heard it a lot on pinterest and stuff.

So I've been drinking three litres of water every single day.

I usually have like a one litre mason jar of water with breakfast, and a little bit after breakfast.

I have another litre with lunch and after lunch.

And then a third litre with supper and after supper.

With drinking that much water, I've seen clear, clear benefits.

My skin is the clearest it's ever been,

my hair is growing like crazy,

I've actually lost a lot of weight with drinking that much water.

So it's just had a lot of benefits for me, and I plan to continue that in 2018.

The next one is gonna be something that I really have to focus on this year,

because whenever I'm like emotional or upset, the first thing I turn to is comfort food.

Like if I come home with a bad test grade, I go straight for the Kraft Dinner that's sitting in my cupboard.

And that is so, so bad. So one thing that I'm going to be doing this year, that I think is a really cool habit to pick up on,

is to find alternatives for when you're emotional or upset,

so like, working out instead, because working out pents up your adrenaline, and gives you an amazing feeling when you're done.

So I think that is something that I'm going to work towards,

and something that you guys might wanna work towards as well.

One thing that I discovered totally last year,

is that to do lists and checklists are your best friend.

So in my life at any given time,

I am balancing school, now YouTube, and my personal life, my social life, and things I wanna get done...

and it's just way too much to remember when you have a bunch of assignment due dates to remember,

and you have like dinner with this person to remember, and it's just way too much to remember.

So I have sort of like trained myself and turned it into a habit to as soon as I have something due or something to do,

I write it down in my agenda, or on my phone, or on my calendar, just somewhere that is going to remind me so that I don't forget,

and it just keeps me a lot more organized, and keeps my mental health steady.

Because I'm not trying to remember ten million things and driving myself crazy.

One thing that I found on Pinterest actually,

that I did not come up with myself, and that I think is actually genius...

is to take showers not only because it cleans you, which it does, you should be taking a shower every day or every other day,

but to take showers because they feel good.

So most people take showers because obviously you wash your hair, wash your body, because of hygiene purposes.

But I looked it up online, and there are actually a lot benefits to taking a shower, that are not just being clean.

Like it relaxes your body, and I know we make jokes about it, like the shower is where we all sing, and contemplate our lives,

but it is so true. Like we stand in the shower, and we just let everything flow out of our minds, and the water just relaxes you...

so I think that one great habit is to just take showers not just for cleaning yourself;

but also to take showers because it's really good for your mind and soul.

another habit that is going to be a goal of mine for 2018,

is to drink the foods I don't like to eat.

so the reason that I am such a picky eater, is because I am picky when it comes to texture.

So like, I don't mind the taste of green foods, I just don't like the textures.

So one thing I've found that's helped me with that a lot, is to turn them into smoothies,

rather than eating them.

So when I make smoothies with like bananas, or apples, or whatever,

I'll throw in a couple of basil leaves, or a little bit of this, or a little bit of that,

so that even though I don't wanna eat them; I can disguise them in my smoothies, and still get the same nutrients that you get when you eat them.

One thing that I think is super, super important especially in our society today,

is to train yourself to have the habit to not take the lazy route.

So like at school,

when I am going up and down my building,

on different floors,

I always have like the stairs, beside the esclator.

Which one do you think I'm gonna take at six am?

But, one habit I wanna train myself to have, is to not take the lazy route,

and take the one that's a little more challenging,

or the one that's gonna make me work my body a little harder.

So when I'm faced with an escalator or a staircase; I'm gonna take the staircase, or whichever is not the obvious or lazy choice.

One habit that I think is super, super beneficial that I haven't tried yet, but I'm definitely going to,

is meal planning.

So basically if you do not know,

meal planning is basically where like on the first or second day of the week,

you plan a bunch of meals for like three days,

and you make them and stick them in your freezer or fridge,

so that when you are running for like breakfast,

or you don't know what to do for lunch or dinner.

instead of sitting in front of your fridge trying to decide what to make; everything is ready to go, it's packed up,

you just gotta grab it, you make it, and you're done.

It's super easy for lunch, and helps a lot for lunch when I'm planning for school.

Because I don't have time to make my lunch in the morning,

and I don't wanna do it when I'm trying to relax from my long day at school,

so it helps to like on Monday or Sunday, make all my meals so it's ready for the week,

and I don't have to worry about it. It's a huge, huge stress reliever,

and just makes me feel a lot more relaxed.

This next one is definitely a discipline, considering what age I live in.

and it is to cut off screens right before bed, like two hours before bed.

So I am trying to turn it into a habit where,

two hours before bed, instead of reaching for my laptop to watch netflix,

or my phone to stay on social media for too long...

I grab a good old book, and I read.

or I spend like an hour with my family, and just talking.

or I write for a while in my Q&A journal.

Or something that will not keep me in front of a screen, so that I can actually get a good night's sleep,

and not be stimulated all night.

So this next one is definitely something I'm going to be trying to do this year, that my friend actually turned me onto,

and it is meditation.

So when I used to think about meditation,

i used to think about like having to close my eyes, and put myself in a happy place, and think about things

which is never something that I've been good at.

But one of my friends introduced me to an app called 'Headspace.'

So basically, what you do is

just go onto your phone, stick in your headphones, and put in your headphones,

and you pick whatever you want to focus on that day.

So they have it split up into categories, for like happiness,

or do you want to listen to a meditation about like perserverance,

or whatever's going on in your life,

they have a headspace for it.

So you just pick it, stick in your headphones, and they tell you exactly what to do, and exactly what to focus on,

and the few times I've tried it, it's made me feel so super good.

So one of the habits I am hoping to grow into more, is more meditation of that sort.

And the final one number ten, is the one that I actually mentioned in my new years' resolution video,

and it is to try more things that make me happy, and actually do them.

so, one thing that's always been proven to improve your health is to do the things that make you happy,

because when you're happy, your whole body is happy.

so one of my goals and habits I hope to grow, is to do things that make me happy, so that my body feels happy and good all of the time.

so that you guys is it for today's video.

I hope you guys enjoyed.

WowGo 2 Review Part 3: Range Test #2 in the City with 5.2Ah Battery - Duration: 5:07.

Range test number 2.

Today I weight about 74 kg

with the stuff that I'm wearing.

The weather is about 9 ºC.

Keep the weather in mind.

In colder weather the battery performance

is slightly decreased.

It's a good thing that I was able to brake.

I forgot that uhm

there's a braking issue if your

battery's at full charge.

Man I hate those assholes who don't watch

where they're going when they're

pulling out of the driveway.

So the acceleration's pretty good.

I'm feeling some voltage sag.

I got 2 out of 3 lights on the remote.

So even with the voltage sag

I can still go pretty fast.

I mean you don't need to go too fast

when you're in the city

as long as you can accelerate

fast enough

to keep up with traffic.

1 light left

on the battery indicator.

Almost out of power.

I think I'm out of power now.

Oh yeah. I can't accelerate.

I don't hear it beeping though.

Yup. Out of power now.

All right.

Oh actually it is beeping.

I just couldn't hear it.

OK.

18.47 kilometers.

Pretty good.

And it just feel——

OK I swear it sped up by itself.

Like if I push up and let go.

Woah it just did it again!

Aaahh!

Bamboo bike!

ADVERX - ADVERX COIN ICO - DONT MISS THIS REVIEW !! - Duration: 11:09.

What's going on and get people this is Mike again with another video today

I want to bring to you adverts adverts is another lending platform. I came across this platform by sheer luck

I contacted the developers I set up an interview they agreed to it

We're gonna. Talk to them, but let me tell you all about this program. This is very very exciting

Stick with me stay tuned don't go nowhere and let me show you why this could be the next big thing to start with

Adverts is a landing platform

That is based on advertising and we're gonna explain that in just a moment

But it goes by AVX, and I tell you from the e-mails back and forth with the developers

They had 11 years of experience in advertising. Okay. We're gonna ask them all these questions

when we do the interview

But they are already involved with big companies

they're doing the advertising they can open an RT b platform RT b stands for

Real-time bidding and let me explain what RT b platform is RT b is a means by which

Advertising inventory is bought and sold by per impression basis via

instantaneous auction so you get the idea

But their plan is to open their own RT b and

Use AV X as a currency to pay for the products and its advertising and what I'm gonna

Show you next is gonna be very impressive, so let me tell you what adverts is ad versus an ER C 20 token

So it's built on the ethereum blockchain

It is developed by professionals and like I told you I already asked the questions

their team consists of media buyers economists marketing

experts

professionals expertise for 11 plus years they claim

They're gonna do a sustainable lending platform pay attention with this guys for investors our lending platform gives a volatile

interest base on the lending plants described below listen to this our

Lending reserve once the lending reserve is depleted on a normal case

Once the lending reserve is depleted lending platform crashes

They break they burn they exert they lead

Listen this once the lending reserve is depleted

50% from the our TV platform will be paid as interest to all the participants in our lending platform

It's a real business

That's going to sustain itself

And it's going to distribute 50 percent of the profit to everybody that holds their token and is lending in their platform

That's pretty good plan, okay

Let's look at Derek's specification, and this is gonna be so exciting for you guys

Okay, first of all the token name is ad works the symbols AVX

This right here is incredible ladies and gentlemen this right here is

incredible

7.5. Million tokens guys, it's not 25. It's not 35. It's not 50. It's 7.5 million

It's an e rc 20 token and the next big thing is they already have their token

They already have it ready. You don't have to guess and know and see when they're gonna come up with it

They've had it ready for 8 days and 12 hours their smart contract is already listed on the ethereum blockchain

Ladies and gentlemen. This is how the tokens are going to be distributed

They're gonna sell 3.5 million in

IC o---- and the rest is going to be

Lending reserve two million zero point seven million for referrals zero point five million for air drop

Zero point three million for the developers so they're gonna sell 3.5 million tokens during the IC o---- look at this price

Ninety cents you're buying on a max supply of seven point five million at ninety cents round one

they're gonna sell a hundred thousand round one A two hundred thousand to two hundred thousand twelve three and then five hundred thousand all the

Way until it gets to a dollar seventy and there are nine different rounds the IC o---- starts January 10th

2018 at 5 p.m.

UTC though it says here Ric or consists of nine different rounds each round will continue until all

Tokens are sold out after each round ends the next round will start after 20 for hours

This is what we need to get in boys and girls right here this range 90 cents a dollar

This is a gold mine right here, okay?

So let's talk about the road map real quick so obviously they launched the adverts project in December January right now

We are in the ico phase

They're gonna open their landing platform in February 2018 right after the completion of the IC o----

Landing platform will be launched and it's right after they told me that acquiring RTV

Partnerships like I told you before they already partnered with big companies. I asked them which companies

They didn't say we're gonna ask them when we interview

May 2018 they're gonna launch their RTB platform their real-time bidding

Platform in June 2018 they're gonna go on an external change

They're gonna list to multiple external changes right after a GRT be launched

So here's what their plan is if you look at it. They're gonna go on an internal change

They're gonna start. There are TV partnerships, then they're gonna launch their project which is the real-time bidding platform?

They're gonna grow their coin then they're gonna go on exchange when I asked them

What are you gonna? Do when you go in exchange and everybody dumps?

He's like whoever dumps is gonna lose. Especially with our limited supply

They're gonna want to hold on to it because we're gonna open our platform our main money generator

Before we even go on an external change look at this July 2018

They're gonna do a promotional airdrop in August. They're gonna go with the payment gateway a payment gateway

Service to use AVX tokens as a mean of payment now listen they have screenshots

It's showing you what profits showing you what advertisement has been spent now

We all know TVs make a lot of money because of advertising

Radios make a lot of money because of advertising in fact YouTube makes a lot of money because of advertising

So we know the power of advertising and the money that can generate you don't need the bot at this point

Look at this the income is a thousand for example the outcome is 1295

It's showing you some screenshots and you can go on a website and take look at it

But these are all the impressions. These are all the revenues. They've been getting these are their lending plans, okay?

250 minimum lending all the way to five thousand up to 1% daily capital back in 90 days

Zero percent bonus five thousand to ten thousand one point one percent daily capital back in seventy five days

zero point one percent bonus

And then ten thousand dollar plus up to one point two percent daily capital back in two months 60 days

0.15 percent bonus, this is their affiliate program, it's not huge which I like

Level one 5% and goes all the way to level four and obviously they have

their

Support right here, and they have their telegram group. All right. This is their github right here

They already have their source code for the RTB

They started on it, but it's not completed yet the source code of our RTB platform will be partially released in this repository

After the launch of it, but they already have their source code for AVX

And if you click on a VIX you can scroll down

They can look at the source code if you are technical

And if you know how to code you'll be able to understand all this, but this is a great step

We're not investing in a dud we're not investing into a platform that gives us promises without showing us

It's already there. There's nothing to guess the project is ready to go, so let's look at there. Who is real quick

So they acquired the domain on

1203

2017 and expires on 12 and three twenty twenty second let's look at their server

They are not on a dedicated server however. I did ask him this question

I'm gonna tell you this

They assured me that their server has load balancer bigger than being on a dedicated server

The load balancers are very elastic

They're gonna actually expand and absorb every single person that comes onto their website

They guaranteed me that they are over killing the server power

Let me also tell you that the minimum to buy this token is 30 and the maximum is a thousand

But they're gonna adjust them as they go along

During the stages of the ico, so the max could change it's gonna go lower

But the minimum is thirty if you want to invest in this one. I also asked them

Can you withdraw your money during the ico. They said yes, they can do it manually?

Every 24 hours that you can withdraw your money, but they're gonna have to check it manually every

24 hours and it's not gonna be instant, but you can you're allowed to they're not gonna hold your token another thing

I want to tell you their dashboard is not even ready yet

It's complete, but they're testing it so I can't even see it

I also did ask them if we can have a private sale they denied and let me tell you why?

It's because they have such a small limited amount to sell 3.5 million with a total max

supply of 7.5 million

That's why they denied they apologize. They can't do it, but I did work out a deal where they're gonna

Give me some token so I can give them away to you guys, so if you sign up under my link right now

It's in the description you will qualify for that giveaway

and by the way

I am the only person on YouTube that has a sling so make sure you click on my link and you sign up so you

Can qualify for that giveaway remember guys it's 7.5 million?

Maximum supply so one token could be worth a lot of money the less the supply

The higher the value look at the board. It's at $80, but their max

Supply is 40 million that speaks volume

7.5 million max supply

3.5 million sold during the high C. Oh that's less than 50% and the rest they're gonna control it they're gonna control the price

They're gonna do it

But I'm gonna tell you from my conversation with the developers these people know what they're doing but remember guys

I am NOT a financial adviser you got to do your own research

See if you want to sign up see if you want to participate

With this platform, I'm actually gonna go in on this one. I'm gonna be having invested in this one

Thank you so much for watching

I appreciate you hit that subscribe button if you're not a subscriber hit that Bell

Right next to that subscribe button so I can keep these hot fresh

LIGHTHOUSE BEACH | PORT MACQUARIE AUSTRALIA - Duration: 7:07.

I'm @gdaymatejohn and this is Port Macquarie, nice!

it's so windy guys i hope you can hear me

I'm currently in Port Macquarie today is my last day so I'm getting all the

touristy sightseeing stuff out of the way today before i head two hours north up the

coast to Coffs Harbour so I'm looking forward to checking that out tomorrow at

the moment though we're at Lighthouse Beach and the reasons it's called Lighthouse Beach

is because the Tacking Point Lighthouse is located here and i wanna go check it out

so lets go!

This is Tacking Point Lighthouse this little stretch of the shore here is quite well known

or it's famous for back in the early settlement days of Australia when they were first navigating

and working out the maps this area of the coastline here was quite notorious for boat

accidents and what they actually did was light up the shore with streetlamps so the ships

at night could actually be guided along the shore here you can see down here the rocks

are sticking out of the water and it's quite shallow so when it's low tide or high tide

or however that stuff works the rocks would be showing quite often and would damage the

boats so it was always called the shoreline with street lamps? we'll find a sign or something

that explains it the area's also quite well known for whale watching right so the clouds

are starting to roll in a little bit but i don't think there is rain on its way i hope

not what i wanna do now is go in and check out the town centre and the main street so

I've just pulled up alongside i think it's a biggish shopping centre and I'm just off

the main street so now it's coffee time well guys that's it for today for Port Macquarie

it's two o'clock in the afternoon and now i'm going to head up the coast for a few hours

to the next town i really didn't have enough time to explore everything obviously the historical

museum looked cool as did the courthouse it's definitely a cute little town like i think

i would spend a few days here but yeah that's all i've got time for today sorry guys if

you like this video please dont forget to give it a like and subscribe for more adventures

and dont forget you guys can check me out on Facebook as well here's the link here there's

a link down below as well and thats all i'll catch you for another adventure soon bye!

BREAKING Trump Just Stuck It To Every Welfare Leech In America With HISTORIC Move - Duration: 30:44.

BREAKING Trump Just Stuck It To Every Welfare Leech In America With HISTORIC Move

Every day millions of hardworking Americans do their best to provide for their families

and ensure that there is a roof over their heads and food on the table.

However, while these honest hard workers are doing what they can to make sure that their

families do not go without there are plenty of others sitting around waiting for a government

handout.

Over the last eight years, under the previous administration, Barack Obama expanded the

welfare program to unprecedented levels.

Instead of rewarding those that work hard, Obama penalized us and rewarded those who

only milk the system.

Now, President Trump is in office, and he is not messing around anymore, and he is ready

to tackle the corrupt welfare system in a way we have not seen before.

Barack Obama did his best during his presidency to destroy America by creating a welfare state

dependent on the government.

Obama and his socialist buddies know that the way to bring America to its knees is to

foster a welfare mentality within our society.

If an entire generation can be brainwashed into believing that the government is responsible

for taking care of them, they will readily give up more of their rights for false security.

Now, because of that mentality, there are millions of families living off welfare instead

of looking for work, and President Trump has had enough of that made a BIG change to the

welfare program that has liberals screaming foul.

When the welfare program started its, intentions were to help families who fall on hard times

get back on their feet.

Sadly, though that has changed and numerous individuals and families are on welfare despite

the fact they are capable of working to take care of themselves.

These welfare families apply for food stamps, housing aid, cash assistance, and medical

insurance which is all paid by U.S. taxpayers who are often themselves strapped for cash.

In recent reports, many of these welfare recipients have come forward and claimed that it is more

financially lucrative for them to be on welfare than to work.

"The current welfare system provides such a high level of benefits that it acts as a

disincentive for work.

Welfare currently pays more than a minimum-wage job in 35 states, even after accounting for

the Earned Income Tax Credit," which offers extra subsidies to low-income workers who

take work.

In 13 states [welfare] pays more than $15 per hour."

So, with all that in mind, President Trump has asked Congress to tackle welfare reform

and that is not all.

Earlier last year, Trump brought back the Bill Clinton era initiative that required

able-bodied individuals to work in exchange for food stamps.

And, now more states are getting onboard with welfare reform.

Alabama has reported that they saw a significant drop in new welfare cases, an 85 percent drop

and other states have reported similar findings.

Here is more from Louder with Crowder:

Similar changes were implemented in select counties in Georgia and by the end of the

first three months, the number of adults receiving benefits in three participating counties dropped

58 percent, according to the Georgia Public Policy Foundation.

In October 2014, LePage announced that able-bodied adults would have to find work, spend 20 hours

per week in a work program, or perform community service for six hours a week.

Food stamp participation declined 14.5 percent from 235,771 in January 2014 to 201,557 in

January 2015, according to the state.

20 hours per week in a work program is light work.

Six hours of community service per week is less than an hour a day.

Hardly taxing.

Incidentally, taxes are the revenue source of these handouts.

Asking people to work for money which was taken from people who work for money seems

the fairest route to go.

If we're going to continue stealing from people who work to give to others who prefer

to perfect their yoga corpse pose.

Namaste here, thanks.

Yes, we're talking about "able-bodied" adults.

Back off with your "BUT THEY'RE VICTIMS!" awareness ribbon campaign.

Most of these people are victims of rampant laziness.

Or severe cases of I'd Rather Not-itis.

Kansas saw a 75 percent decline after implementing work requirements in 2013.

In addition, nearly 60 percent of former beneficiaries found employment within 12 months and their

incomes rose by an average of 127 percent per year, according to the Foundation for

Government Accountability.

There is no reason that anyone in this country should be living on welfare when they can

work.

The welfare program was constructed to act as a cushion for families who fall on hard

times and need a little help to get back on their feet.

In no way was welfare intended to be a career choice, and when you take it away, people

will do what they have to make sure they eat.

After all, there is no shame in a hard work and doing your best to ensure your family

is taken care of properly.

Share if you think welfare programs should be cut across

the board!
