Hi people! Last week I didn't upload a video. Sorry, you know: the holidays,
Christmas Eve, running about shopping, eating here and there... I had no time
to prepare a video, so I'll make it up to you by uploading some speedpainting this
week or the next one, okay? Well, it was time to go back to the channel, so today I'll
show you the book I just finished reading.
It's HIJAS DE LILITH: El Legado de la Sangre by Rafael de la Rosa.
You'll say "Gah, Liber, dude, you're a stinky egocentric, why are you showing us a book whose cover
you designed." Well, NO. No... I'm showing it to you because the story inside
is the real star of this book. It's so cool, and now I'll tell you
what's it about. Here's the synopsis: "NOTHING COULD PREPARE YOU
FOR THE COVEN. Lidia just found out that she's a witch. A mediocre witch.
But her whole life falls apart when she's dragged into
a centuries-long fight. In a world with ancient gods, with no one
to trust, she'll have to try her best to survive. Hunters willing to do anything
to bring their goddess back to life. An internal war between witches. A prophecy
about to be fulfilled." I'll tell you a bit about how
the magic system works here. This I like a lot, because
I'm the blood idiot: here the witches' magical system works through
their blood. The power of magic in your blood
works by percentage, so if you have at least a 50% of blood
inherited from the Ancient One, Lilith, then you're a witch. Thus men
can only come to have a 50% tops; women
will always be more powerful because they, having two X chromosomes,
can inherit twice as much blood from Lilith or Eve, so...
The writer is a neurobiologist, I think, if I recall correctly, so he'd know
how to explain it much better. I try to explain it as I understand it, kinda...
It's actually pretty simple. I'll explain it with pictures, just give me
a moment to pick my notebook...
I'm so proud of my sketches. Look, in the beginning of times, there was
a war among primeval gods. They all battled against the First God, and then
they fled away in a massive exodus to other worlds, including ours.
Nowadays, some of these gods and their servants are the ones
ruling our world without humankind knowing.
So, after them, straggling, the goddess Aztarte was entering our world.
And see, right while she was crossing in, she encountered Eve and
Lilith. These two were human women from the old times, you know,
Adam's wives, one came first and the other after...
So Eve had a son, and Lilith had a daughter, and Eve's son
was jealous of Lilith's daughter and killed her. So after seeing Lilith's grief over
her dead daughter, Aztarte took pity and gave the blood of her heart to the
little girl, who came back to life with the goddess' powers within. However, that
costed Aztarte her life, who remained dead stiff forever, trapped between two worlds,
see, with one half of her body inside our reality and the other half in another.
Okay? Okay, then centuries pass by,
and that's how the blood magic works. Magical blood is the one
derived from Aztarte's heart, now running
through the veins of Lilith's descendants, so to be a witch, you must have
at least a 50% of blood inherited from Aztarte, so
men can only have as much as a 50%, due to the Y chromosome,
and they'll never be as powerful as, say, a witch with more
percentage of Lilith. But, if a man and a woman with magical blood do the
Gnaka Gnaka and casually conceive a girl --this is highly
unusual, but every century or so, a little girl with a 100% of Aztarte's blood is conceived.
So what happens? If by any chance
the blood of this super powerful baby finds its way back to the heart of
Aztarte's corpse, Aztarte will resurrect, and what happens when she comes back to life?
Her mind and blood will start roaring inside the veins of
every witch in the world who surpasses a certain percentage of magical blood,
and they'll die. Aztarte will kill them with terrible pain, and make them
commit mass suicide. Then Aztarte will reach the
other gods and will make a total MESS.
So a lot of people are watching out,
to slay that superpowerful witch the moment she's conceived. They'll kill her, and some want...
Depending on what they want to do with the girl, several factions have formed
from the very moment Aztarte gave her blood
to the girl. We have the neutral ones: the witches
minding their own bussiness, lalalee lalalaa, and live their lives peacefully, okay?
Then we have the ones against Aztarte's resurrection, who are watching out,
ready to kill the little witch as soon as she's born, or even before.
And burn her, burn the witch so her blood never, ever reaches
back to Aztarte's heart. They're trying to keep the Goddess from coming back
to life by any means. And then there's the Hunters, some of which
have Aztarte's blood, only in a small percentage, so
the goddess' return wouldn't affect them, and they're like a club of nasty, fanatic dudebros...
--really, they're scary as hell-- who devote themselves to
killing, hunting and torturing witches in search of information about the baby girl
from the prophecy. They intend to resuscitate the goddess with the
girl's blood, so Aztarte lives again and completes her passing into our world
to slay every powerful witch and every other gods still
roaming the hidden corners of planet Earth.
What for? Yeah, that would give the planet back to its
rightful heirs: the common humans.
And we have our protagonist, Lidia, an ordinary young woman who
lives with her boyfriend in an apartment and is looking for a job... and suddenly one day
she goes to get a blood test and finds out she's a witch. A rather mediocre witch with a
thin percentage of Aztarte's blood, so she can't do half of what the other witches can.
But something strange happens to her:
her blood's power fluctuates. One moment she has
a 50% of witch's blood, and the next she goes up to 70-80%.
Intrigued, these neutral witches take her in and start teaching her
the secrets of blood magic, while Lidia tries to discover
what the hell is up with her, and tries to survive and stay out of the radar of these murdering witches
and the hunters, lest it all ends up in a Greek tragedy.
Oh, I forgot: amidst all this party hard,
we also have Erzebeth Báthory, the countess. You remember that one
said to be a vampiress? Yeah, she's actually a witch ultrapowerful
with blood, and she's also in the plot and she's so cool. And this is the great premise
of HIJAS DE LILITH. Of course, as you keep reading the book, you'll realize
that the story of Aztarte and Eve and Lilith and everyone else was a little incomplete,
since it happened a loooong time ago, and the truth
may have been warped after centuries. But oh, I won't tell you
the rest of the book because that'd be spoilers, and my intention is for you

then TX after the dot like after the K so if it doesn't have TX it's not a taxi don't
get into it another thing every car is identifiable and you can tell where
everyone's from because like with the K for Köln other cities like M for
Munich is the first letter of the car registration plate which I think is so
interesting is if you move city if you move from Munich to Cologne you have to
swap in your registration plate and get a K registration plate
how cool is that?

hi guys welcome back to my channel today I thought I would do a back to school
makeup for you guys
basically when you go back to school you want your makeup
look to be as natural as possible
preferably people can't tell that you're
wearing makeup
okay so I guess you can call this like a affordable , drugstore
no makeup makeup look
ironic as it sounds we all want to look like we were just
Born naturally with such nice skin nice features and so on and so forth
right?
so without further ado let's get started!
I'm sorry for the lighting I'm
using like natural light today so
the sun keeps hiding behind the clouds and
stuff. Starting with face I'm using the Maybelline x Gig Hadid BB Cushion
I'm in the shade 44 natural
I actually really like this as much as how
everyone online thinks it's like overpriced
I think yes it's a bit pricey
but um the quality is pretty good and I really like the packaging
it's like
blush colored I would recommend using a BB cream for school because it has less
coverage
also it's more like natural finish it's not as matte it's not as flat
as well
& remember we are going for the no makeup makeup kind of look
so
just a very thin layer will do
I don't know about you guys but when I went to
school last time like
everyone would be so you know looking forward to seeing
like how everyone looks on the first day of school
it'll be like wow that girl cut her hair or like
oh my gosh why is she wearing so
much makeup today or something so
I think it's very important especially if
you are going to a new class or something to make a good impression and
you wanna look presentable but you don't want to
look like you're trying too hard
foundation done!
you can see it's quite dewy so it's a pretty like natural
finish
concealer I'm using this bourjois correcting concealer stick
it looks
like a lipstick it's kind of cool
simply highlight like under your eyes
on your nose
likewise I would suggest you not to go
too crazy with this because it can make your makeup look cakey
so I quite like this concealer because it has a pretty waxy base so it's very easy
to blend and it's pretty pigmented as well
so this is the base
then you want
to set your face because you don't want to look like you're an oil slick at the
end of the day
I'm using this loose setting powder from this brand called
Mina it looks like this I know you cant really find them in the drugstore but
they are very very affordable and that's why I'm using them in this tutorial
The powder is a very very fine like white color powder so what I like to do is
like to pour some on the cover
very lightly dust
if you want a no makeup makeup look
I would suggest going for translucent loose powder like this instead of a
powder foundation because this kind of powders are usually very fine and they
have no color and no coverage
then we want to move on to contour
I'm using this,
this is the L'Oreal infallible Pro contour palette which I personally
didn't really like it's not very pigmented
I'm using this for this tutorial because I feel that a lot of you guys who are
very new to makeup would benefit from how
natural-looking this is and since we're kind of going for a natural makeup look
so I thought why not try not
Try not to bring the product too much inward so just kind
of focus at the outer part face and that's all don't forget to
contour your nose as well very very lightly and very gently just run it
across your nose bridge so because I'm using this contour palette that is so
natural right you can't really tell that I've contour my nose also okay now it's
time for brows I'm using this this is from Miniso it is a so it's the minso
brow pencil
we don't want to go too crazy w this step as well just follow the
natural shape of your brows and fill them in where you have sparse areas so
my eyebrows are already pretty full so I'm just going to really go very very
gently with it this actually this spooly over here
if you have light colored hair
like me you can use a brow mascara this is from etude house keep them in place
time for eye shadow I chose this Etude house my universe galaxy multi palette
pink galaxy is brand new I've never actually tried it before so first I
think I'm gonna be putting this color all across my eyelids so I like this
color because it's matte which means it's pretty natural on the color it's also
very very subtle and close to my normal skin color I love it then I'm gonna be
taking this shade over here it's kind of like a glittery shade
just first slightly put
it in the middle of your eyelids
it's so Korean looking
and also applying it right here
it's very very subtle which is what I
like
I'm gonna be using this Etude house super slim proof pencil liner this
is in the brown shade I chose Brown this is a lot more natural that way and I'm
just gonna be lining my eyes so I'm going to do is I'm gonna tilt my head
back like this and just tight line my eyes in between my lashes and just try
to keep it as close to the lash line as possible then you wanna curl your lashes
and apply some mascara I love this mascara it's my all-time favorite
Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara
just a few coats of it
we'll move on to blush this is the K palette lasting cheek tint
it's actually
a cream blush
bring it right at the center of my cheeks
then we will use a
highlighter this is the Maybelline master chrome metallic highlighter so
this is pretty shimmery so I'm just gonna take a little bit just a tiny
little bit and pop it at high points of my face
last but not least this is the lipstick that I'm using
Etude house... I cant remember the
name of the lipstick but basically it's a shade PK 003 I love this shade super
pretty
and use your fingers to smudge out the side and this makeup look is
complete to end off the entire look you can style it with a cap then yeah this
look is complete

Let's talk about goal-setting shall we
Hey howdy a train wreck. How are you today? I am the glorious train wreck mom and we're gonna talk about
Setting goals in fact. I'm gonna give you seven steps to make smarter goals for the new year
I don't know what you're saying okay
Train wreck mom if that's even your real name
Uh yeah, you told me don't sit like resolutions or anything you told me to make goals, so how do you do that?
well
I just look like a train wreck because I'm here to give you seven steps on how to make your goals
These are great goals, but if you're just like sporadically randomly going about say oh, I want to lose weight
Oh, I'm gonna get my finances in order. Oh, I want my house to be
Yeah together and organized
But you don't have a plan
Those goals are gonna be like your resolutions
You're gonna be
One of the five million people who go to gym can't find a treadmill can't find a bike in the first week and you're gonna
Be one of those that then the third week. You don't even know what the gym looks like anymore, okay?
We're gonna stop you from doing that I'm gonna help you with my handy dandy
trips and tips right here
We want to do is remember. This is called
Smarter we're gonna start with the letter S. You want your goals to be specific. Don't just sit and say
You know you want to lose weight. That's great you want to lose weight
How much do you want to lose? Do you actually want to lose weight, or do you want to tone up?
Do you want to eat healthier do you want a healthier lifestyle? Are you looking to stave off diabeetus?
Are you looking at like better heart health you know be?
Specific don't just sit and run that lose weight thing that we all see on Facebook everyone doing the weight loss challenge
Weight you know fitness challenges out the ears be specific how much weight do you want to lose?
Do you want to tone up? How many days a week are you willing to work at it?
Minutes a day are you willing to work at it?
Are you willing to do like a meal plan or stuff like that that stuff you need to nail down
So you know what you're in for okay the second one is measurable
You say you want to save money. That's awesome
How much money do you want to save and then break it down? Do you want to do it by paycheck?
Do you want to but do it by week by day by month how much money?
Do you want to say is there a reason you're saving the money? You know give you a goal to save your money?
Even you know I know that I would like to save up eight thousand dollars to take my family to Disney World
In order to do that I would have to save half my paycheck every week
Hi, god. I'm depressed now
Anyway, but yeah, yeah, just sit down if you want to lose the weight. You know make it a measurable thing
Yeah a pound a week is a measurable thing you can see that if you want to do your steps
You know a lot of people are into the 10,000 sets. There's a measurable thing go get your step counter
Okay, that will help you so much your next thing
Attainable a lot of people
this is you know this is the hard one because yeah you get told you can do anything and you can do anything but
You got to be reasonable you're not gonna lose a hundred pounds in
a month
You're not going to be able to save ten thousand dollars if you're making ten bucks a week an hour
Yep, flipping burgers. We're babysitting or daycare or whatever you're doing. Yeah, it's not gonna happen
You got to make sure that your goals are attainable and the biggest reason you want obtainable goals
And so that when you get that you feel that sense of accomplishment
Think about how you feel when you fail at something? It sucks. It does okay?
It's just the worst feeling because like I tried and I fail
Guess what that's my whole life? That's why we're train wrecks. Okay. We track we fail
We tried we fail here. It's okay to fail. That's why we're not Pinterest perfect
We might try
But we're just not and that's okay the thing is you want your goals to be attainable?
Is it possible for you to save $100 a month probably? I guarantee it's probably attainable for me to put aside 100 bucks a month
That would not be that big of a deal. Okay. Is it possible for me to lose five pounds in a month
Absolutely and when I hit that five count or I hit that $100. I'd be like okay. I did this now
Let's step it up a notch. Let's do more
Let's go a little bit bigger and make that next goal the next step entertaining that the next goal, okay
You do want them to be relevant
you white your goals to be relevant to your life if you're not a
Pinterest perfect mom then stop making
Goals that every week you are going to make that cute little craft that you saw
If you are not a fitness person and stop making goals that you're gonna go out and run a marathon
In the next three months
That's not you, babe. That's not you. That's not your bag, Donnie
Don't worry about that you do you if what's relevant to you isn't relevant someone else
That's okay. You do you baby you do you okay?
Make your goals relevant to you. Don't try to keep up with the Joneses definitely don't try to keep up with Facebook
Keep out of Pinterest
Okay, make them relevant to you. If your goal is just to eat the dishes done every day there
You go baby. There you go
That is one step, and that is relevant to you and your life, and that is what you should go for
next time down
Having a time limit
Or a deadline is a huge deal because if you're just sitting there going oh my god time. I got till December. It's okay

Don't don't sit far off goals
Get it one month plan a three month plan six months nine months 12 months

So definitely put some time limits on yourself make a deadline that way you got to put some hustle into your bustle

I think it's gonna be my penny words for the day and valuator you want to be able to look and go
Just like I said, okay. Here's January. I walked 5,000 steps in all of January
I kind of wanted to do 10,000 steps a day
Hmm, what can I do to fix this you want?
Data you want numbers you want something that
Quantifiable data that you can sit there and go okay, this didn't work this worked now
I can get this all fixed up and that goes into revival Arthur revisable
sometimes life happens
Sometimes we set our goals a little higher than we can achieve
Sometimes we don't set them high enough and that's when you can go back and go what worked. What didn't I'm gonna fix this
Completely, so you go back and you say hey this really worked
I think I could have done a little bit more here
Then do a little bit more get it and going you got this. I know it that is my seven steps to
smarter goal-setting
It's that simple guys all you have to do stop with the resolutions nobody keeps to their resolutions, okay?
Stick to goals, but make them to where you can get them, so you get that sense of accomplishment
Don't make the stick with the carrot dangling in front of you so long that you will never get that carrot okay?
I know you can do this. I have faith in you. I love you. I believe in you if nobody said it today
I am proud of you, and you should be proud of you, too

Hi people! Last week I didn't upload a video. Sorry, you know: the holidays,
Christmas Eve, running about shopping, eating here and there... I had no time
to prepare a video, so I'll make it up to you by uploading some speedpainting this
week or the next one, okay? Well, it was time to go back to the channel, so today I'll
show you the book I just finished reading.
It's HIJAS DE LILITH: El Legado de la Sangre by Rafael de la Rosa.
You'll say "Gah, Liber, dude, you're a stinky egocentric, why are you showing us a book whose cover
you designed." Well, NO. No... I'm showing it to you because the story inside
is the real star of this book. It's so cool, and now I'll tell you
what's it about. Here's the synopsis: "NOTHING COULD PREPARE YOU
FOR THE COVEN. Lidia just found out that she's a witch. A mediocre witch.
But her whole life falls apart when she's dragged into
a centuries-long fight. In a world with ancient gods, with no one
to trust, she'll have to try her best to survive. Hunters willing to do anything
to bring their goddess back to life. An internal war between witches. A prophecy
about to be fulfilled." I'll tell you a bit about how
the magic system works here. This I like a lot, because
I'm the blood idiot: here the witches' magical system works through
their blood. The power of magic in your blood
works by percentage, so if you have at least a 50% of blood
inherited from the Ancient One, Lilith, then you're a witch. Thus men
can only come to have a 50% tops; women
will always be more powerful because they, having two X chromosomes,
can inherit twice as much blood from Lilith or Eve, so...
The writer is a neurobiologist, I think, if I recall correctly, so he'd know
how to explain it much better. I try to explain it as I understand it, kinda...
It's actually pretty simple. I'll explain it with pictures, just give me
a moment to pick my notebook...
I'm so proud of my sketches. Look, in the beginning of times, there was
a war among primeval gods. They all battled against the First God, and then
they fled away in a massive exodus to other worlds, including ours.
Nowadays, some of these gods and their servants are the ones
ruling our world without humankind knowing.
So, after them, straggling, the goddess Aztarte was entering our world.
And see, right while she was crossing in, she encountered Eve and
Lilith. These two were human women from the old times, you know,
Adam's wives, one came first and the other after...
So Eve had a son, and Lilith had a daughter, and Eve's son
was jealous of Lilith's daughter and killed her. So after seeing Lilith's grief over
her dead daughter, Aztarte took pity and gave the blood of her heart to the
little girl, who came back to life with the goddess' powers within. However, that
costed Aztarte her life, who remained dead stiff forever, trapped between two worlds,
see, with one half of her body inside our reality and the other half in another.
Okay? Okay, then centuries pass by,
and that's how the blood magic works. Magical blood is the one
derived from Aztarte's heart, now running
through the veins of Lilith's descendants, so to be a witch, you must have
at least a 50% of blood inherited from Aztarte, so
men can only have as much as a 50%, due to the Y chromosome,
and they'll never be as powerful as, say, a witch with more
percentage of Lilith. But, if a man and a woman with magical blood do the
Gnaka Gnaka and casually conceive a girl --this is highly
unusual, but every century or so, a little girl with a 100% of Aztarte's blood is conceived.
So what happens? If by any chance
the blood of this super powerful baby finds its way back to the heart of
Aztarte's corpse, Aztarte will resurrect, and what happens when she comes back to life?
Her mind and blood will start roaring inside the veins of
every witch in the world who surpasses a certain percentage of magical blood,
and they'll die. Aztarte will kill them with terrible pain, and make them
commit mass suicide. Then Aztarte will reach the
other gods and will make a total MESS.
So a lot of people are watching out,
to slay that superpowerful witch the moment she's conceived. They'll kill her, and some want...
Depending on what they want to do with the girl, several factions have formed
from the very moment Aztarte gave her blood
to the girl. We have the neutral ones: the witches
minding their own bussiness, lalalee lalalaa, and live their lives peacefully, okay?
Then we have the ones against Aztarte's resurrection, who are watching out,
ready to kill the little witch as soon as she's born, or even before.
And burn her, burn the witch so her blood never, ever reaches
back to Aztarte's heart. They're trying to keep the Goddess from coming back
to life by any means. And then there's the Hunters, some of which
have Aztarte's blood, only in a small percentage, so
the goddess' return wouldn't affect them, and they're like a club of nasty, fanatic dudebros...
--really, they're scary as hell-- who devote themselves to
killing, hunting and torturing witches in search of information about the baby girl
from the prophecy. They intend to resuscitate the goddess with the
girl's blood, so Aztarte lives again and completes her passing into our world
to slay every powerful witch and every other gods still
roaming the hidden corners of planet Earth.
What for? Yeah, that would give the planet back to its
rightful heirs: the common humans.
And we have our protagonist, Lidia, an ordinary young woman who
lives with her boyfriend in an apartment and is looking for a job... and suddenly one day
she goes to get a blood test and finds out she's a witch. A rather mediocre witch with a
thin percentage of Aztarte's blood, so she can't do half of what the other witches can.
But something strange happens to her:
her blood's power fluctuates. One moment she has
a 50% of witch's blood, and the next she goes up to 70-80%.
Intrigued, these neutral witches take her in and start teaching her
the secrets of blood magic, while Lidia tries to discover
what the hell is up with her, and tries to survive and stay out of the radar of these murdering witches
and the hunters, lest it all ends up in a Greek tragedy.
Oh, I forgot: amidst all this party hard,
we also have Erzebeth Báthory, the countess. You remember that one
said to be a vampiress? Yeah, she's actually a witch ultrapowerful
with blood, and she's also in the plot and she's so cool. And this is the great premise
of HIJAS DE LILITH. Of course, as you keep reading the book, you'll realize
that the story of Aztarte and Eve and Lilith and everyone else was a little incomplete,
since it happened a loooong time ago, and the truth
may have been warped after centuries. But oh, I won't tell you
the rest of the book because that'd be spoilers, and my intention is for you
