a million and a half bolívares. For them that is way too much if not paid for in gold. They cannot

bring food, they cannot bring personal cleaning products because everything will be taken

from them as they need to cross many roadblocks on each journey

The Constitution [of 1999] had guaranteed them with demarcation

of their indigenous territories within two years. This has not been done nor is the Venezuelan state

prepared to do so. But beyond this lies the issue of a consultation about all

that has to do with timber or mining exploitations in their territories. Undoubtedly, this

has not been respected. So, all this has affected. You need to remember that Amazonas

is the only state in the country where the majority of the population is indigenous people and there are 20

indigenous communities that are impacted by illegal mining

in the Amazonas state.

Barack Obama has said a number of questionable things throughout his life, and thanks to

the Internet, he can't ever escape them.

Just recently, he criticized President Trump over his alleged remarks calling third-world

countries "sh-t holes" (they are sh-t holes), as if stating the obvious is now somehow

one of the seven deadly sins.

However, Obama has forgotten about some of the things he's said in the past, and he

really should have kept his mouth shut (an impossible feat, we know).

According to the Daily Caller, while Obama was occupying the White House, he did an interview

with The Atlantic.

The interview covered numerous topics and was wide ranging, but one part of it in particular

is really coming back to bite him in the ass…big time.

Apparently, Obama doesn't think much differently about the countries in Africa and the Middle

East than his successor.

In fact, he once referred to Libya, a nation he helped bring total chaos to, in quite the

derogatory manner, as the interview with The Atlantic shows.

Following President Trump's Thursday comments, it's worth noting that former President

Obama called the African country of Libya a "shit show" just two years ago.

The comments were recorded in an interview with The Atlantic.

The wide-ranging interview was based on Obama's foreign policy over his eight years in office.

During one portion of the interview, Obama said described Libya as a "mess" to the

interviewer but behind closed doors called the country a "shit show."

According to the Atlantic:

"So we actually executed this plan as well as I could have expected: We got a UN mandate,

we built a coalition, it cost us $1 billion—which, when it comes to military operations, is very

cheap.

We averted large-scale civilian casualties, we prevented what almost surely would have

been a prolonged and bloody civil conflict.

And despite all that, Libya is a mess.

Mess is the president's diplomatic term; privately, he calls Libya a "shit show,"

in part because it's subsequently become an isis haven — one that he has already

targeted with air strikes.

It became a shit show, Obama believes, for reasons that had less to do with American

incompetence than with the passivity of America's allies and with the obdurate power of tribalism.

Did you catch that?

He called Libya a sh-t show, which is really no different than calling it a sh-t hole,

yet at the time the media didn't say a peep about it.

Why?

Well, if you really don't know, then you're not paying close enough attention.

But once again, we see Obama's hypocrisy.

Too bad for Bill, it looks like he may have wanted to hold off on expressing his outrage

over President Donald Trump's alleged "shithole" Haiti remarks because slick Willy's worst

nightmare just got leaked – and he's downright furious over it.

Mad World News has previously reported on Hillary Clinton and her mistake of publicly

running her mouth when it comes to President Donald Trump.

Of course, she wanted to come off looking like a hero but only made herself out to be

a complete idiot as she opened the door to having the spotlight shone on her own sordid

past with Haiti.

Things only got worse from there for crooked Hillary.

After deciding to call the president a "racist," she woke to a nasty Trump surprise the very

next morning, as Mad World News previously reported.

In fact, the Department of Justice has announced an 11-count indictment connected with the

Uranium One deal and Hillary Clinton.

But, that's not all.

It seems that's just the beginning of the mess that the Clinton family has created for

themselves.

Bill Clinton also decided to open his fat trap.

Although he wasn't focused on President Trump's remarks, he still had one thing

to say about Haiti that has left the country in shock.

Bill Clinton wasn't happy about the media firestorm over the Clinton Foundation!

Bill Clinton tweeted, "No Clinton Foundation funds—dedicated to Haiti or otherwise—were

used to pay for Chelsea's wedding.

It's not only untrue, it's a personal insult to me, to Hillary, and to Chelsea and

Marc."

Attached to Bill Clinton's tweet is a Washington Post 'fact checker' titled, "Did The

Clinton Foundation Pay For Chelsea's Wedding?"

All the hullabaloo about Haiti has brought up feelings about the Clinton family that

they thought were far behind them.

As a result, social media lit the Clintons up by kindly reminding the family that they

were no friends of Haiti, and the backlash hasn't stopped.

Apparently, Bill doesn't like that one bit.

Although they deny it, the Clintons left the Haitians high and dry after the devastating

earthquake 8 years ago.

The suffering citizens never received relief from the Clinton Foundation, despite the organization

raking in millions in donations for Haitian relief efforts.

Too bad for Bill, no one really cares how he feels, and they seem to be sticking it

to him even harder now that he's tried to deny the accusations.

As it turns out, it looks like his worst nightmare already leaked – and this is something that's

impossible to explain away.

Chelsea Clinton used the Clinton Foundation's resources "for her wedding," an aide to

former US President Bill Clinton wrote in 2012, according to emails released by WikiLeaks.

They appear to show that Doug Band emailed John Podesta, chairman of Hillary Clinton's

2016 presidential campaign, urging him to "speak to her and end this."

One of Bill Clinton's aides admitted to Clinton Foundation funds being used for Chelsea's

wedding in an email that was leaked to the public.

In the communication, the aide apparently wasn't too happy with the abuse of funds

and demanded John Podesta speak to the family so she would quit ripping off Haiti and the

American people who gave money to the Clinton Foundation.

In the meantime, Bill is still furious over the so-called accusation, but it's not going

away anytime soon because no one really believes him.

After all, we remember what it's like when you ask Bill to tell you the truth about his

misdeeds, and he's adamant the allegations are false.

This guy is a known liar.

Not only is he just as self-serving as his wife, but the two would do whatever was necessary

to remain rich and in power.

Lying to the American people, as well as the Haitians, is the easiest of tactics for these

two, and anyone who takes Bill Clinton at his word is an idiot not worth debating.

CNN Asks MLK's Nephew If Donald Trump Is Racist, STUNNED By His Response - Duration: 3:36.

On Friday, President Donald Trump signed a proclamation honoring Martin Luther King Jr.

In attendance for the historic occasion was MLK's nephew, Isaac Newton Farris Jr., who

gave short remarks about his uncle's legacy and thanked President Trump for the proclamation.

Afterwards, CNN asked Farris if he believes Donald Trump is a "racist," and they were

stunned by his response.

President Trump on Friday signed a historic proclamation in honor of civil rights leader

Martin Luther King Jr. at the White House.

He was joined by Dr. Ben Carson and MLK's nephew, Isaac Newton Farris Jr.

The president praised Martin Luther King Jr. for standing up for the rights of African-Americans,

and emphasized the importance of equality.

"Today we celebrate Dr. King for standing up for the self-evident truth Americans hold

so dear, that no matter what the color of our skin or the place of our birth, we are

all created equal by God," Mr. Trump said.

The mere fact that President Donald Trump honored an African-American icon at the White

House on Friday should have put to bed any lingering impressions that he is a racist.

However, instead of employing any common sense, CNN decided to raise that question when they

spoke to the nephew of Martin Luther King Jr.

In an interview after Trump signed the proclamation honoring MLK, CNN asked his nephew, Isaac

Newton Farris Jr., what the president said to him in private.

Farris said that Trump told him, "I'm not the guy being described in the media."

Apparently seeing an opening to accuse Trump of racism, CNN then asked Farris if he thinks

Trump is racist.

Farris replied, "I don't think that President Trump is a racist in the traditional sense

as we know in this country.

I think President Trump is racially ignorant or racially uninformed.

But I don't think that he's a racist in the traditional sense."

Stunned that Farris would not call the president a racist, CNN asked their guest what he meant.

"It means that we have him until 2020 or until something else happens," said MLK's

nephew.

CNN was obviously hoping that this black man would be willing to label Trump a racist on

national television, but that's not the way the interview unfolded at all.

To the contrary, Farris very plainly stated that Trump is not a racist.

Alveda King expressed the same sentiment when she appeared on Fox News:

Despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary, the media continues to dwell on the narrative

that President Donald Trump is a racist.

They do this, of course, because they cannot attack him for any legitimate reason.

After all, his presidency thus far has been a resounding success.

He has all but defeated ISIS, he has brought hundreds of thousands of jobs back to America,

and he has turned the economy around, with the stock market reaching record numbers on

a weekly basis.

All of this has occurred in just eleven months.

And so, the media cannot say that Trump has not delivered on the promises he made to Americans

on the campaign trail.

They cannot say he is sitting idly by and doing nothing.

They cannot say he has failed.

Thus, they resort to calling him a racist in a last-ditch effort to drum up opposition

to the man who will very easily win re-election in 2020 if his track record so far is any

indication of what the next three years have in store.

This two-bit strategy will not work.

It didn't the first time around, and it will not prevail this time either.

Crooked Hillary Bashes 'Shithole' Remark, Wakes To Brutal Trump Surprise The Next Morning - Duration: 4:45.

For reasons unknown, Hillary Clinton thinks that she's still relevant and that the American

people care what she has to say.

She proved just that by bashing the President Donald Trump's alleged "shithole" remark

the only way she knows how – in a cocky and self-righteous tone, forgetting her own

history with Haiti.

Too bad for her, things blew up in her face as she woke to a brutal surprise the next

morning courtesy of Trump himself.

Although she's yet to figure it out, no one wants to hear from Hillary at this point.

Even Democrats have expressed their hopes that she would just "shut the f*ck up"

and "go away."

Despite this reality, the woman still has a need to publicly insert her opinion into

political matters.

Too bad for Hillary, all she keeps doing is making things worse for herself, and that's

exactly what happened most recently.

In fact, if her goal is to become the most hated woman in America, she's now well on

her way.

The left went absolutely berserk after a report broke alleging that President Donald Trump

referred to a few places around the globe as "shitholes."

Just like that, the liberal media reignited attacks against Trump, even going so far as

to call him a racist simply because the countries he criticized were home to people of color.

Trump has since denied the accusations against him, and as we've since learned, Republican

Senators Tom Cotton and David Perdue, who were both attending the meeting where the

remarks were reportedly made, said that they "don't recall" him "specifically"

using the term "shithole," BizPac Review reported.

Still, doing as she always does, Hillary Clinton decided that it was the perfect time to jump

on the hate bandwagon, without knowing all the facts or considering her own sordid past,

in order to attempt to give herself a little boost in popularity.

"The anniversary of the devastating earthquake 8 years ago is a day to remember the tragedy,

honor the resilient people of Haiti, & affirm America's commitment to helping our neighbors,"

she tweeted.

"Instead, we're subjected to Trump's ignorant, racist views of anyone who doesn't

look like him."

Mad World News previously reported how Hillary took to Twitter in order to bash Trump's

"shithole" remarks, only to be slammed by angered Americans who were quick to point

out how she stole money from the Haitian people following the earthquake that she spoke of

in her tweet.

Unfortunately for her, having her crooked affairs exposed to her Twitter followers was

the least of her worries.

What she didn't realize is the fact that her criticisms of Trump were about to come

at the worst possible time.

Proving just that, Hillary woke to a brutal surprise courtesy of President Donald Trump

himself just one day after her comments – and ironically enough, it centers around Haiti

as well.

According to IJ Review, "the Department of Justice announced an 11-count indictment

connected with the Uranium One deal and Hillary Clinton."

In short, an American executive has been charged with attempting to bribe Russian officials

in the uranium deal, New York Post reports.

"Mark Lambert, who is the co-president of a nuclear materials transportation company,

has been charged with one count of conspiracy to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act

(FCPA) and to commit wire fraud, seven counts of violating the FCPA, two counts of wire

fraud and one count of international promotion money laundering," the report continues.

The charges stem from an alleged scheme to bribe Vadim Mikerin, a Russian official at

JSC Techsnabexport (TENEX), a subsidiary of Russia's State Atomic Energy Corporation

and the sole supplier and exporter of Russian Federation uranium and uranium enrichment

services to nuclear power companies worldwide, in order to secure contracts with TENEX.

According to the indictment, beginning at least as early as 2009 and continuing until

October 2014, Lambert conspired with others at "Transportation Corporation A" to make

corrupt and fraudulent bribery and kickback payments to offshore bank accounts associated

with shell companies, at the direction of, and for the benefit of, a Russian official,

Vadim Mikerin, in order to secure improper business advantages and obtain and retain

business with TENEX.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions ordered the DOJ to look into the Uranium One deal back

in December, and we're already getting results.

The walls are closing in on Hillary Clinton – and she's got to be sweating at this

point.

After all, if this was all found out in a single month, imagine what we'll learn as

In the end, we may officially get to "lock her up" like she so desperately deserves.

I get a lot of questions about cross stitching on fabrics other than Aida fabric

We briefly talked about this in a previous video when we did cross stitch on a t-shirt

You can go back and check that video, I'll leave the link in the description below

In this video I'll show the steps quickly

Of Course what works on denim will work on other fabrics that you can't do cross stitching on directly

so let's begin this video

So first let's talk about the fabric, which fabric we can do cross stitching directly

and which fabrics we need a little help to be able to cross stitch on it.

First, the fabric we can cross stitch on it. These are open weave fabric that looks like a grid and the distances between the rows and columns are the same

which creates tiny squares with a hole on each of it's corners

we can easily cross stitch on these fabrics for two main reasons

the first is every cross stitch will look exactly like the other (speaking width and height wise)

and Secondly, I can easily know the rows and columns and easily move to any of them

I know exactly where to start and where to end

without worrying about what is the exact space that I should leave and where should I go next with the needle

That's why it's easy to cross stitch on these fabrics, the first example for such a fabric is Aida fabric

which we use in Palestinian embroidery for household items, like pillows, coasters, wall hanging, etc

so this is aida fabric and you can easily see that it looks like a grid with holes to guide the needle and the distance are the same for all the rows and columns

So I can do cross stitching directly on this fabric

another example is linen fabric like this one, and same idea here, although the openings here are much smaller

I'll show you this fabric too, which I got while I was in Palestine. We use this fabric to make shawl or scarfs , and again same Idea

You can cross stitch on it directly but some people will find it difficult to work with it and will prefer to use waste canvas over it.

So these are few examples of fabrics we can cross stitch on it directly

Of course the fabrics we need to use the waste canvas with are the ones that doesn't fit the previous description

so let's look at denim for example, it doesn't have any opening, I can't see the grid and so it will make it difficult to make a cross stitch

even if I made the first stitch, how can I guarantee that the other stitches will be the same

also if I'm in a certain row and want to move to another how can I know for sure what are the exact space between these rows

and denim is certainly not the only fabric in this category, we have velvet, leather, cotton, etc

So to work on these fabrics we need a little help from the waste canvas.

as you can see the waste canvas looks like Aida fabric but it's much easier to pull its threads in the end to remove it completely

We can easily know where to begin and where to end, which row or column I'm in and how to form a cross stitch

You can get it like these in a specific or pre-cut pieces or you can get it in bigger sizes

You might a waste canvas that doesn't have the blue lines, don't worry it's the same as the one I'm showing here, these blue lines just make it easier to count

and lastly, just like Aida fabric, each waste canvas has a count and the ones I'm showing you here are counts 8.5 , 10 and 14

that's what we will be using today, so Let me show you how.

First, Find the pattern, and your measurements for the denim and waste canvas

As you can see this is the piece of denim I will be using in this video and the pattern I have will cover about half of it, so I'll cut my waste canvas to cover that half

Step 2 attach waste canvas to your denim , the most important thing here is to make sure it's in the right place and it's leaning in any direction unless that's what you want

I'll be using a needle and all purpose thread to make a running stitch all around the edges, we will be getting rid of it in the end so don't worry about perfecting it.

The idea is that we just want to hold it in place while we do the cross stitching

Step 3 Cross stitch, get your pattern, threads and start cross stitching according to your pattern

So here's the pattern I did and now we are ready to move to the next step

Step 4 Remove the waste canvas

to do so, we need to pull it's threads one by one. It's a time consuming process but it gets easier over time.

But first we start with removing the running stitch we did earlier, then you can work on the waste canvas

When we finish removing the waste canvas, we will have our cross stitching over the denim

and this is the result!

now you can move to the next stage, maybe you want to frame it, make it a pencil case or a pillow whatever you want!

These are the steps we use to do Palestinian embroidery on these fabrics, it's a also the way we use to make thob (Palestinian traditional dress)

Now, she tells the truth, and it's a major bombshell.

CNN reported, "FEINSTEIN says she's sorry to Grassley for not giving him a heads-up

about the release of the Fusion GPS transcript.

'I meant to tell him, and I didn't have a chance to tell him, and that concerns me,'

she told us.

'I just got pressured, and I didn't do it.'"

One day later, Daily Caller reports, "Feinstein, 84, expressed regret on Wednesday for keeping

Sen. Grassley in the dark, and suggested it was because of a 'bad cold.'"

"The one regret I have is that I should have spoke (sic) with Senator Grassley before,"

she told NBC News.

"And, I don't make an excuse, but I've had a bad cold and maybe that slowed down

my mental facilities (sic) a little bit."

What?

Obviously, "Sneaky Dianne" is hiding something.

Why did she release it, and why is she lying about her reasons for releasing it?

President Donald Trump weighed in, tweeting, "The fact that Sneaky Dianne Feinstein,

who has on numerous occasions stated that collusion between Trump/Russia has not been

found, would release testimony in such an underhanded and possibly illegal way, totally

without authorization, is a disgrace.

We know the president is well aware that it is a bit more than her upcoming primary that

is vexing "Sneaky Dianne."

Finally, the Senator's attorneys must have warned her that, if she is caught lying about

communications regarding releasing the Simpson testimony, she'd be in big trouble.

Her only problem is that the truth proves she is colluding with traitors.

Feinstein told Daily Caller that she released the Fusion GPS testimony because the Fusion

GPS lawyers told her to do so.

What?

Yes, we can't make this stuff up.

Daily Caller's report said, "California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein told The

Daily Caller that Fusion GPS lawyers asked her to release company co-founder Glenn Simpson's

testimony transcript."

The report goes on, "She released the testimony Tuesday before consulting with Senate Judiciary

Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, which she told TheDC she regrets.

Feinstein is the top Democrat on the committee."

Feinstein said, "We were written to by the lawyers of the company asking that it be released,

and the reason, of course, is because it has been used by rumor and innuendo and falsity

so much that the time came for people to see exactly what was said."

Ok, so, Dianne Feinstein, one of the top Democrats sitting on the Intel Committee, buckles to

the demands of this shady firm, Fusion GPS.

Why in the world would she even consider anything a private, outside, shady firm wants her to

do?

She knows all the facts about who these lowlifes are, and she knows they colluded with the

deep state rats at the FBI and DOJ to produce the totally discredited "Russian dossier."

Glenn Simpson is part of the cabal who spied on Donald Trump and his campaign illegally,

and "Sneaky Dianne" is taking marching orders from him and his attorneys.

Of course, we can only speculate why Feinstein would open herself up to such scrutiny, marking

herself as part of that cabal.

Why did she release Glenn Simpson's testimony and not anyone else's?

to make sure future witnesses align their testimony with Simpson's, so all the rats

Hawaii's citizens were putting their kids into storm drains after an "incoming ballistic

missile" emergency message went out to cell phones and across television screens late

Friday afternoon.

Hawaii's Democratic Congresswoman, Tulsi Gabbard, blamed President Donald Trump for

the false alarm.

Gabbard, along with leftist journalists, claimed Trump is responsible for all the panic of

an impending nuclear attack, and that's when Sarah Sanders gave the Congresswoman

a brutal surprise.

President Trump is so demonized by the Democrats and the mainstream media that no matter what

the issue, Trump is to blame.

The widespread "Trump-blaming hate-fest" gets a little old, and this situation in Hawaii

is a perfect example.

Apparently, on Friday afternoon Hawaii time, an alert went out to all cell phones, and

the dreaded emergency services announcement even came across TV.

On cell phones, the alert read, "BALLISTIC MISSILE INBOUND TO HAWAII.

SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL."

Ok, so this is scary stuff – there's no argument there – but to blame this on Trump?

Wow, it seems the president's powers are quite extensive if he can reach buttons in

Hawaii even when he is physically in Washington, D.C.

"Hawaii's nutty Rep. Tulsi Gabbard blamed Trump for the false missile alert in Hawaii

that made millions panic.

She says it's his fault because he hasn't done what a handful of presidents before him

had not been able to do either – solve North Korea," reports The Right Scoop.

The report goes on, "In any case, given that some idiot in Hawaii just 'pressed

the wrong button' and panicked millions, maybe Tulsi should look after her own in the

state before casting aspersions on the [president]."

That's exactly what we think too.

This is a Democrat-run state, so look no further than to the leftist elected officials if we

People don't go online to be sold.

They're either searching for a solution

Think about the last time you search Google

Being sold to is a turnoff

for most people.

Even if your intentions are good,

best selling

and highest ROI products

to boost SEO ranking online

and increase the closing ratios

of his e-commerce site.

The problem was,

this guy loves to sell

and feels that he has to talk about

himself and his company more

than the product.

Otherwise he's losing out on a great

opportunity to let people know

why they should buy from him.

Here's an example of what Tim might

say in his video.

"I just want to help you find the right part

because we have the largest selection

No one else can touch the sheer number

of parts we carry

and all the parts come

I've been in the business for 25 years

and I know just about every make

and model of car out there." Now,

I've known Tim for years

and his intentions are good.

He really does want to help people

and he knows more about car parts

than I think anyone should.

He's the best person to call because he truly

wants to help you

and will find the right part for your car.

The problem is you don't know

him like I do.

You don't know how honest

and sincere he is.

All you want to do is find the right part

for your car,

watch a quick install video so

you can decide if you want to buy the car

or take the car to a shop.

All the extra rhetoric that Tim includes

is a turnoff

and the prospects bounce to another

side and Tim loses a sale.

So, what can Tim do

to improve his videos?

Number one,

focus on the prospects need.

Keep it simple

and to the point so the person

doesn't lose interest.

Focus on what's the problem?

How do you fix it?

And, are there any special circumstances

that the users should know

or be aware of?

After this,

what Tim needs to do is tell

the viewer what to do next.

This is the "sale part".

Place the link directly to the products

and let the user know.

yearly percent change again this is from today you know just simmer for whatever

it is the 14th it's a fifteen thousand two hundred and seventy eight percent

change which is just absolutely crazy again some of these coins are just doing

absolutely insane again like I said some of these numbers are gonna be a little

this is looking at that in real time you know a couple weeks into January so if

"All I see of these Democrats, like Adam Schiff — it's all he does, he'll have

a meeting, and then he'll leave, and he'll call up the meeting, and then I'll have

a meeting and then he'll leave," said Trump.

"He left meetings where people are being interviewed, and then all of a sudden they

say a story about what's going on inside the meetings," added the president, leaving

no doubt that he believes Schiff is the leaker.

President Trump and White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders both accused California

Rep. Adam Schiff of selectively leaking details of the House Intelligence Committee's Russia

investigation.

Trump put Schiff on blast during an interview with The Wall Street Journal in the Oval Office

on Thursday morning.

Schiff demanded an apology from the White House in an apparent attempt to defend himself.

However, he did not expressly come out and deny that he was responsible for the leaks,

which is very telling.

"They owe me an apology, but frankly it would be a wasted errand to ask for one,"

Schiff said on CNN.

"And if Sarah Huckabee Sanders is going to have to give out apologies to everyone

that he has criticized unfairly, she would be doing nothing else all day."

Frankly, President Donald Trump and Sarah Sanders handled this brilliantly.

If lawmakers like Adam Schiff want to play dirty by betraying the president's trust

and leaking information to the press, then they're only getting a taste of their own

medicine when the president himself calls them out in front of the entire nation.

If Adam Schiff was trying to make a name for himself, he has certainly accomplished as

much.

Unfortunately for him, that name is now synonymous with the word "traitor."

K-Food Sensation - Duration: 5:46.

If there was one item from Korea causing a global sensation with its unforgettable flavors

and charms, what would you say it is?

It's hansik, Korean cuisine.

As if proving its global popularity, many YouTubers are sharing their experiences of

K-Food with others around the globe.

Let's kick off a delicious journey into Korean culture with special company.

This is an award ceremony held in Seoul.

The unique thing is, all the prizewinners are non-Korean YouTubers.

This award ceremony is part of a video contest that took place under the theme of "My Favorite

K-Food."

Ranging from traditional food to processed foods, the participants cook or taste their

favorite Korean food in the videos.

These videos definitely speak to their love and affection for Korean food.

(English) "I love to watch Korean drama and I have already

seen Korean food there, and they looked yummy."

The prizewinners are given the chance to travel

different cities in Korea over five days.

Talking about Korean food, we can't forget about kimchi, a staple fermented vegetable

side dish.

This is a Korean culture experience center in Hanok Village in Jeonju.

Here, visitors can learn how to make kimchi and taste their own kimchi.

Types and tastes of kimchi differ from region to region.

In Jeonju , the locals use onions, daikon radishes, garlic and fermented yellow croakers

for the kimchi marinade.

They seem genuinely excited about this new experience.

Through the process, they also feel the warm sentiments of Koreans.

It tastes like proper kimchi.

Above all, these guys had the most fun learning about Korean traditional alcohol ranging from

takju , raw rice liquor, and yakju , medicinal liquor, to hard liquor.

They also learned how to make traditional alcohol themselves.

The first step to making makgeolli is cooking hard-boiled rice.

That's the main ingredient of the beverage as well.

Then the rice should be mixed with water and nuruk , a Korean fermentation starter.

After three days to a week, the ingredients slowly ferment before finally turning into

a milky, off-white beverage.

(Japanese) "I'm currently making makgeolli.

I've just added yeast.

This is how it's made.

It's so fun."

Makgeolli is highly versatile.

With a few gentle bubbles, it can be used as a base spirit for countless fruit cocktails,

making it popular among youngsters and foreigners.

(English) "I like it, it's different from what I expected

it to be.

Back home, we used grapes.

It has strong liquor taste to it, so it's different, but I enjoyed it."

Now the YouTubers are on a strawberry farm to harvest winter strawberries.

Strawberries are a spring fruit in Korea, but winter strawberries are more popular for

their firm texture and refreshing sweetness.

These guys are finally harvesting strawberries.

Of course, they never miss their chance of sharing this unique experience with their

viewers.

The strawberries have been grown using eco-friendly means and are absolutely delicious.

They can be enjoyed the way they are, but these guys are making strawberry cupcakes

in time for Christmas.

Time flew by and the 5-day trip is about to come to an end.

They must feel closer to Korea after experiencing the quintessence of Korean culture and cuisine.

(English) "This trip touches upon agriculture and local

culture, so it's something different as it's quite difficult for tourists to experience

in Seoul.

It's very interesting and amazing."

Five days in Korea in winter must have left a very special impression on the prizewinners.

Let's clear it up.

Hi, let's talk today about a type conversion and concatenation in JavaScript.

I'm Anatol and you're watching the Good Parts of the FrontEnd development.

According to ECMAScript Specification the addition operator can perform either string

concatenation or numeric addition.

The compiler evaluates both left and right part of an expression and makes a decision

what to do further: If: at least one those was a "String", then

both are evaluated as "Strings".

Otherwise: the compiler performs a numeric addition.

In our example: neither of two values is of "String" type, the compiler performs a numeric

addition, so both values have to be treated as "Numbers".

5 is already a "Number", but "true" (Boolean type) is not really.

JavaScript coerces a true boolean into the value of 1, and a false boolean into the value

of 0.

In this case, both operands are treated as "Numbers", not "Strings", so the expression

is equivalent to "5+1" , and I can logically assume that their sum is equal to "6".

All these rules are covered by the Type conversion section of ECMAScript Specification.

Consequently, you can see that the following expression 1+'1' will be evaluated as "11",

regardless the left part of expression is a "Number", the right expression is a

"String".

Therefore, the concatenation instead the addition operator is performed.

However, the next example 1-'1' is evaluated as "0", since the right side is coerced to

a type Number, because the mathematical subtraction can't be applied to a String.

Thereby you can easily calculate the following expression: 2/''.

The division operator is applied to Numbers only.

The left side is a Number at a time when the right side is coerced to a Number, whereby

it's 0.

Accordingly, 2 divided by 0 is Infinity, it's true only in JavaScript, that follows the

international standard, but not in the real world.

That's it.

So easy.
