in this video we are going to talk about how to improve your confidence in

English and I am making this video in my car for a reason because I was driving

downtown today and I was not feeling confident and so I really started

thinking about you guys and what it takes to speak English confidently okay

so here we go first of all the reason why I was not feeling confident driving

downtown is one because I don't have a lot of experience driving down town and

I'm I'm from Sacramento California and the streets downtown are different from

the streets in the suburbs and in the other areas okay so basically where I'm

used to driving in neighborhoods and freeways and stuff like that every

street is a two-way street that's point blank that's one thing and then another

thing is that the streets are pretty big so there's lots of space in each lane

and I feel confident when I'm driving on regular streets that I'm used to driving

on okay but downtown a lot of the streets are one-way streets and also

they're very narrow and I'm not used to driving in these circumstances right so

when I'm in these situations I feel less confident so I'm bringing this up

because I want to tell you if you're not confident speaking English there's a

good chance you literally just don't have enough experience okay because the

more experience you have with something the more confident you become just like

if I would drive down town every single day I would get super confident driving

downtown you know it's not that big of a deal the other thing is I've had some

bad experiences driving downtown two really bad experiences that I will tell

you about okay and these happen years ago like when I was first learning how

to drive but the reason I'm gonna tell you is

because if you've ever had a bad experience with your English like if a

teacher has ever embarrassed you or friends or strangers or if you were ever

in a dangerous situation and you didn't know what to do and you know that's kind

of traumatic stuff and that can really influence your confidence level so two

really big mistakes that I made driving downtown this happened when I was

probably like nineteen years old one day I was driving with my friend at

we had gone out to dinner maybe we went dancing I don't really remember but I

made a wrong turn and the next thing I knew I was driving on railroad tracks

it wasn't like for a train but it was for the kind of trains that go in the

streets anyhow there was a specific street designated for this tram and next

thing you know I'm driving with my truck like this and a train is coming at us

like this it's midnight the lights are shining at

us and it's like honking like like what are you doing lady get out of the road

okay that was really traumatic I don't even know what I did to escape from that

but somehow I got out of that situation I pulled over my friend and I we were

just like breathing really hard and I was like I'm so sorry like I don't know

how I made this mistake so anyhow that's one big mistake I made driving downtown

another mistake and this is super embarrassing the streets are so narrow

and I was driving a Ford f-150 which was my very first car it was a truck okay

and besides having narrow streets you always have cars parked on the sides

of the streets so I was driving in the right-hand Lane there were a bunch of

cars over there parked and as I'm driving I got too close to one of the

parked cars and my mirror slapped the mirror of another parked car and I just

kept driving like I didn't even know what to do I'm like oh shoot am I

supposed to stop pull over say sorry like you know give them my insurance

number what am I supposed to do and here's the deal with confidence if you

have bad experiences with something it will cause you to doubt your ability so

now every time I Drive downtown because it rarely happens I still sometimes

remember those traumatic experiences and I'm just like oh my gosh I'm so nervous

driving downtown and I have to like talk to myself like Stefanie you got this

you're okay you know how to drive you don't worry

you've been doing this for years but I'm telling you this because again of your

English right if you don't have a lot of experience speaking English

you may lack confidence the solution is simply to get more experience or if

you've had some traumatic experiences you may lack confidence speaking English

the solution is to just again keep practicing and talk yourself through

what's going on and reassure yourself you know you've got this it's okay if

you have a speech or something that you have to deliver if you have a phone call

that you have to make give yourself a little pep talk before you do it this is

my strategy this is what I do and it works okay it's reassuring now the final

thing I want to mention about confidence is sometimes you have had plenty of

experience you've had no traumatic experiences so there should really be no

reason why you lack confidence but yet you still lack confidence right you

don't feel that great when you speak English the reason for that you have to

dig so much deeper because it can be fear doubt embarrassment it can be a lot

of things but usually it's one of those three it's like you fear how other

people will perceive you or you fear making a mistake or you fear making

yourself look silly okay so if you want to be a confident English speaker write

what it what does it take it takes experience you have to have experience

speaking the language you have to speak with native speakers every day okay and

I'll talk to you guys about how you can do this in a second but you have to be

using the language every day in different circumstances so you get more

experience with it then if you find yourself lacking confidence you do have

to deal with your own mindset and mentality and ask yourself you know

what's really going on here is it just because I lack experience is it because I've

had bad experiences is it because of some underlying fear what is really

going on okay and then talk yourself through it you will gain confidence by

doing two things by gaining experience and by changing the way you perceive

yourself and situations around you okay so you can learn to be a super confident

English speaker in any situation now let's talk about how you can use English

every day to improve to talk with native English speakers to make friends to

you just you know because all of that stuff is gonna help you feel more

Why Are Teens Doing The Tide Pod Challenge? - Duration: 3:22.

According to the Association of poison control centers, just In the first 15 days of 2018,

there were more than 39 reports of teenagers intentionally misusing tide pods.

In 2017 there were 53.

This suggests that the issue is increasing.

And what's more is, those were just the reported cases.

There could very well be many more instances where teens intentionally put a tide pod in

their mouths but did not go to the hospital or report it.

Young children are drawn to tide pods because they look like candy and they don't know

better, but why is it that older children, teenagers have taken a meme to a whole new

level where they are intentionally ingesting toxic chemicals?

The contents of tide pods basically make them poison.

They contain Ethanol, hydrogen peroxide, and long chain polymers.

Which are, you guessed it, toxic.

These toxic components become easy to ingest when you put one of the plastic packets in

your mouth, because the plastic membrane is designed to dissolve in the washing machine.

Even putting a tide pod in your mouth for a few seconds could release the chemicals.

From there the chemicals can make their way into your bloodstream, lungs and other organs,

cause vomiting, diarrhoea and difficulty breathing.

For these reasons, putting a tide pod in your mouth, even as a joke, could be fatal.

So why would young people want to risk their life over it?

Well, it seems people, especially young millennials, will do anything for social media stardom.

When you do the tide pod challenge, you film yourself doing it.

The video gets shared to social media sites like youtube, twitter and instagram along

with the hashtag, tidepod challenge.

People browse the hashtag, and watch compilation videos.

Once the mainstream media gets wind of a challenge, people start looking up the challenge submissions

in large numbers.

Videos garner hundreds of thousands of views just in a single day.

For this reason, youtube has actually tried to limit the popularity of the tide pod challenge,

by demonetizing videos and taking many of them down altogether.

Take away the inscentive, and people are far less likely to do the challenge.

That being said, there have been plenty of dangerous challenges over the last few years

among young people.

The Cinnamon challenge resulted in several reported deaths.

The ice bucket challenge resulted in some teenagers getting knocked out and going into

shock.

The tide pod challenge is not the first, and definitely wont be the last deadly internet

challenge.

Next, another reason why this challenge has taken hold is simply peer pressure.

19 year old Marc Pagan said he was dared to do the tide pod challenge.

And lastly, people seem to just think the whole idea of eating a tide pod is funny so

doing it literally was the only natural way for the meme to progress.

The whole thing started as a way to troll the idea that kids were eating tide pods by

accident.

Tide pods look very much like a candy.

They are brightly coloured and scented, and wrapped in plastic.

The satirical news website the onion also added to the comical nature of the idea, when

they published a story about a child who wanted to eat a laundry packet.

Two years after that and college humor also made a video about a man who ate a bowl of

tide pods and was subsequently carried off into an ambulance.

Memes about eating tide pods If you do ingest the contents of laundry packets,

do not force yourself to vomit.

drink a full glass of water or milk.

If you need to report exposure to laundry detergent pods, call the national poison hotline.

People got tired of driving from New York to LA somebody said, I wish we could fly we got airplanes

Your real life the one God really got for you is in your imagination

It is not in your current situation or your current paycheck

And if you've been living like that you have been restricted yourself to a commonality that is really not yours

Because what really God got for you is really in your imagination. There is a scripture that

Everything comes from the Bible you really don't need self-help books. You don't need the magic of thinking big the power of positive thinking

Proverbs all of it, but let me give you this scripture you've all heard this right

Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen

So when I told you a minute ago

You've got to have a tremendous work ethic, but you got to have a lot of faith

I talked to so many people who get older like some of us are and they've lost their faith. Well faith is really simple

It's that faith is the substance of things hoped for all that mean is in the beginning. You just hope something pop off

You know you just kind of hope something happen for you. I was hoping I would get on TV

I wrote it on a piece of paper when I was 10. I want to be on TV the problem

I had when I wrote it at 10 was I suffered from a severe stuttering problem

I could not talk outside of my house so can you imagine when I wrote on a piece of paper

I want to be on TV and turned that in

But when I wrote it on the paper it wasn't factual

It was just hoping

You just got to start with the hope

Faith is the substance of things that you hoped for, you just hope something jump. What happened in through Grace and favor

He give you a couple of them things you hope for and then you're supposed to start believing then

Because not turns into faith

But if you take the scripture faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen

What is the evidence of things not seen? I just told it to you

Albert Einstein said imagination

Is everything it's the preview to life's coming attraction

But guess what?

your imagination really is

It's the evidence

of things not seen

Because your imagination you know why it's the evidence of things not seen because you the only one who can see it

Your imagination is actually God showing you a preview of a coming attraction

That he has for you the moment you don't believe in your imagination you negate what he got for you

Because nobody can see it but you, your problem is you keep telling your imagination to the wrong people

See if you want to kill a big dream tell it to a small-minded person

It's dead how many times man have you had a tremendous idea?

Something you thought was the one and you went and told it

To your loved ones and your so-called friends, and they shot it down

I mean you was convinced that it was just oh man

I just came to you and you told it to them and they shot it down

And you thought since there was your loved ones and their friends

And they got your best interests at heart you believe them you was wrong

They taught you let them talk you out of what God got for you some of y'all still sitting here

With the ambition of opening a business one day

But you scared to go start the business cuz you got a job and you got bills rich people got bills

Everybody got bills hell I got bills

You who, you everybody owes somebody something. I got something with the bank right now

You're gonna

let the fact that you got some bills stop you from opening the business the thing to God then put in your

Imagination so you're gonna squash that cuz you got bills

Everybody got bills

Your real life is in your imagination

What I'm sharing with you is stuff that everybody can apply today

If you are sitting in here thinking that you're too old to listen. to what Steve, hell I'm 60. I'm 60 years old I know

You can't believe it I know

He's so fly I know

But I'm sixty, but I still rely on my imagination

See if you think you're too old to make it. Let me give you a prime example

Colonel Sanders

Colonel Sanders has been frying chicken his whole life

He was telling everybody he had the best chicken in the world ain't nobody believe him they turned him down

everywhere Colonel Sanders

Didn't get a franchise until he was in his 60's

Kentucky Fried Chicken sell more chicken than anybody in the world today

So if you sitting there thinking cause you've got a little gray on you

You too late

As long as God waking you up in the morning that's the sign that he ain't through with you

So what you trippin for you sittin up in here like like God can't do nothin for you cuz you 60

Man, you know what I'm asking God for right now

And I'm 60 if you could see my vision board you would be you would be blown away

Cuz I got enough right now. I really know, but I ain't in the need business. I'm in the want business

Ain't nothing wrong with wanting something. Quite going down to these churches y'all sittin up in here going down to keeping you in these

Little boxes God got a big life for you

The only person ain't get done the look, and I love Church don't get me wrong. I'm not knocking Church

Don't you don't don't tweet that

No stay don't care for the church no more. I didn't say that

But don't go down there memorize all these scriptures, and then don't apply none of them to your life

That's what I'm talking about quit going down there

Just to go and just get a couple of scriptures and apply them to you. Let me get you one

That's real simple these principles of success

They've taken all of these scriptures

And they putting them in books and they call them you know thinking Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill the magic of thinking big by

David Schwartz

But everything in there is the scripture they just reworded it because people don't know how to read the Bible

Like I can't really read the King James

version I can't

Four verses of that I go to sleep

Cause hence

Furthermore

Whatsoever

Whosoever who who is you talking about?

I need a name dog not not whomsoever

Cuz I'm thrown off. I didn't do good with reading and comprehension in school

The smallest scripture I ever read changed my life

The scripture real simple

You have not

Because you ask not

Do you know

The difference that that could make in your life

I'm just giving you real talk now

I'm just trying to tell you how I got here see I have no education

I applaud all of you

With your education I was sitting here talking so many men who have and can corporate America

I'm in all of that cuz I don't have it

But you sit here, and you take what you have and it could be so much more if you would ask

See you have not cause you ask not

When the last time you really asked him for something, or do you keep making requests

That's inside the confines of your paycheck

When you gonna get outside of that didn't I just tell you God ain't in your paycheck

Didn't I just tell you he in your job title

THe life God got for you is in your imagination while you still imagine this stuff

Why you keep dreaming of a summer home why you keep dreaming of

Retirement leaving your grandkids money something that day is now where I think about my grandkids. I got sevenTV shows

I only need one

One show paid me enough money. I need four for my wife

Four of them is for Marjorie

The other three is for the grandkids. I just need one

I do not live my life in the confines of what anybody says to me

I let my imagination go and now imagination is a preview to life's coming attraction

But what that really means is is God

Showing you a preview of what he has for you

So now if you have not cause you ask not. Do you understand if you up your ask He has to up his give

Just period this is simple stuff that anybody can apply you ain't even got a had no degree to do this

You don't even have to have no money to do this you can start this today

And change your whole game because you're gonna need grace and favor anyway

You need to dream the faith, and then he put his grace in favor on talking. Your gone

But you gotta ask for something if you up your ask

he got to up his give period

You have not caused your ask not. Quit asking God for a little bitty stuff. Lord Jesus, help me make my rent don't he always

All y'all got somewhere to stay

How about this why you keep asking for rent? Why don't you ask for mortgage?

If he gonna give you the money for a place to stay

What difference do it make to God?

But if you keep saying rent

Ain't he fair, he keep giving you rent

If you ask for a mortgage

He'll give you a mortgage, but you have not cause your ask not

Lord Jesus help me fix my car so I can make it to work

Why do you keep praying over that raggedy car?

Why don't you ask God for a car that don't need fixing?

You know they roll them off the assembly line every day. How you can't get a new car how you serve God?

How you go to church, and you can't get a car just a new car

How you can't get that from God?

No why cause you ain't asking you keep asking him for stuff that fit in your paycheck your paycheck said

2015 Lexus so you go down and ask him for that then guess what you get a 2015 Lexus

You up your ask he up his give you have not cause you ask not

This ain't a magic trick man

I have asked God for some tremendous stuff

Everything he hasn't given to me. It's on the way

I have no doubt about it

Why would he not?

See I tell you what really prompted just thinking in me when I was homeless I lived in a car for three years

I've made some decisions in my life man and threw myself off a cliff my decision in

October 8

1985 I walked into a comedy club for the first time on a dare from a girl

Walked into a comedy club for the first time had never heard of a comedy club

All my life, I wanted to be on TV

Had never heard of a comedy club

October the 8th I walked into hilarities comedy club in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, that's right outside after

I signed up for the following week because I just wanted to see what the comedians did man

I saw live stand-up for the first time

They had 10 acts supposed to go up 9 of them went up the 10th guy got scared and went ran out the door

So I had signed up for the following week the guy says listen

We lost our 10th act we're going to go to the phones. We're going to go to the week from next week

If Steve Harvey's here come on up now and the crowd starts clapping

I was eating a chicken wing and

Drinking some grapefruit juice and I turned to the girl and I said, it's a dude in here got the same name I got

She say you the stupidest bastard I know

So I ran up on stage

I'm doing I don't even know what to do, but I just started

Talking about boxing and stuff that happened to me audience was hollering laughing

They bought all ten of us back up on stage. They had a clap off. I won the clap off. I won $50

I cry

From Cuyahoga Falls to Cleveland the girl kept saying why are you crying it ain't but $50 I said no you don't understand

This way more than 50

This what I do, she said what you mean that's what you do? That's just your first time

You don't understand something happened to me. I won amateur night. I went to work the next day

October 9th

1985 and quit my job

You've all seen this book I got out and this video called jump. Oh, I jumped. Now I don't recommend

That you do it that way

Because two years later, I was homeless

Yeah, because the first year comedy I made

$3,400 the next year I made

$4800 and the third year I made $5300, I got a wife a set of twins

I'm sending every dollar I got to them

So I tried to live on 50 75 dollars a week gas was 38 cents a gallon back then I just stayed in my car

So I lived in my car for three years

Three years I lived in my car

And what happened was

I just said man

So I used to fish all the time to eat because I'm a fisherman I'm a bass fisherman

So I used to stop at lakes and ponds and just fish and every night every month I get runoff from somebody's left

Hey get away from here. Hey move along. That's not yours. Hey

Stop fishing here. I just get run off

And he didn't understand at one time I had fish on the line. They said you got fish on that line

I said yeah throw him back

I had to throw him back because I used to stop at rest areas with little cast iron grills

I kept charcoal in my car. I start a fire and I eat fish. Some days I wouldn't eat

So that they thought I was just fishing, but I was eating so I said one day I said man

You know what one day, man

I'm gonna get myself some land. I'm buy myself a piece of dirt

So fast-forward God bless me I get on TV when I'm 38. I'm on Showtime at the Apollo

Lord have mercy. They gave me my money. I saved my money up I saved

$250,000 I said, I'm going to get me some land. I went to Texas

and I'm about to buy some land, but before I went to buy the land I was curious

I just had the thought I said man how much land is on earth?

How many acres is on earth because you know it's not gonna change

You know God lets you fly God let you dive on the water God don't let you make dirt

Can't make dirt, so I looked it up

It's roughly over just a little bit over 36 billion acres of land

36 billion acres of land

So I just got a little bit more curious, and I said well, how many people on earth?

I looked it up

And it was about 6 billion people on earth

So I did some Steve Harvey thinking I said okay if it's 36 billion acres of land

And it's about 6 billion people on earth everybody ought to have 6 acres of land. I just mean you know I just

just thinking

So I asked God could I have 6 acres?

That's all I wanted because you know the one thing I wanted I didn't care if I put a house on it or nothing

I just wanted to be a staying somewhere and couldn't nobody run me off. I just wanted

You know man

I was in world of hurt

So sick of just getting run off man every time I stop some

Got this money, man. I saved my money I saved

$250,000

I'm going and I'm looking for some land

The first day I get there. I see a piece of land in Texas so beautiful

I couldn't believe it had rolling hills had a pond on it. Where I could fish of the dude took me over there

I look at the land, and I'm looking I said man. This is great right here. I said sir, how much is this right here?

He said well

It's about

$600,000

I said man, I ain't

I ain't got that kind of money

He said well, how much do you have? I said I got $250,000

Said well

Let me think about it, man. He said let me think about it and I was standing there

And then I stopped I said sir can I ask you a question man? How many acres of land is that?

He said this is six acres

Six

Six years ago

I just asked God

Just give me six

I didn't want a whole lot of acres. I just wanted my cut

Just give me my six

And so I said ain't this crazy, so I thought about it

I said man, what can we work out right before I got ready to say it the guy that took me over said Steve

Let me show you something right quick. He took me over this hillbillies house. Took me over this hillbilly house named Jerry Campbell

Now I don't really care for hillbillies. Cuz you know we don't

Just you know when you know I believe in

I don't believe in all that when I hear that me and you probably ain't gonna work out. I'm from Cleveland. I do things

I don't want no trouble. I met this hillbilly

I was a little nervous about meeting him man

Cuz I ain't like the way he talk but mess around turned out to be one of the finest men I've ever met in my life

Became a father figure to me old white man. He took me to his house. He said let me show you something

He took me over and showed me this land

And it was massive it had three lakes on it it had rolling hills that had trees it was

Unbelievable, man I said man

This is incredible. I said how much is this he said this 16 acres. I say hey, man

I ain't got that kind of money

Let me go on back over here to this dude where I can maybe cut a deal

He said let me ask you something. What was you gonna give that man over there? I said well

I hadn't worked it out yet cuz all I got is

$250,000 he said we'll listen. I'm in a little bit of a tight right now

Said if you can bring me $250,000 cash by tomorrow

I give you this 16 acres

I showed up the next day

$250,000

16 acres see that's grace and favor right there

That's what that is so my first piece of land was 250 acres so I said man

This is the land that I'm gonna save for my family. I'm gonna fish on the rest of my life

I'm gonna be an old man

Now let me tell you something

I'm so busy now. I don't even get to go to that ranch

I never can go and I thought I was gonna be fishing

And save it for my kids rest of life, but God had another plan for me

That's the ranch

that I had my mentoring camp on I bring a thousand black boys out there with a thousand single mothers

And that was the purpose of that ranch. I never go there to fish at all, but see that's what I wanted

I thought that's what it was for but God got another plan his way is way bigger than yours

You can't even see his way

But you gotta start the hustle you got to give God something to work with look if you start hustling and grinding

He'll fill it up for you, but if you ain't got no hustle and no grind

He can't fill it up so guess what I don't ever go there to use that land for fishing or not

But I'm changing boys lives over there. It's been important for me

to empower my children, but not only my children, but thousands of young people across the country

And education is the key for a lot of people

But when I speak at the colleges and stuff. I tell people number one thing in your world is not your education

It's your dream

So what you dreaming about y'all?

What you still dreaming about? What is God still showing you in your imagination?

What are you so afraid of?

Why would you not take that leap and go for it before you mess around and die?

Why would you not go and see what God really got for you before you leave this world

Why would you hang on to a job

Here's what happens with the job

If you live paycheck-to-paycheck

right now

When you retire

They gonna give you 1/3 of what you can't live on now

They're gonna give you gold watch and a turkey

And they're gonna set you on out to pasture if I was you before I leave this world

I'd go see what God really got for me. Just take a chance

Now here's why you should take the chance

Name me one time God has not pulled you through

Just name it. Name the one thing God has never pulled you through if he ain't pulled you through it

He's currently pulling you through it right now and the reason

I know I'm telling the truth because you're sitting in here. If God was through with you

He wouldn't wake you up no more when he wakes you up is because he ain't through with you yet

He got something else for you, so why don't you go see what that is?

about how you can eradicate that from your mind to get a more realistic

perspective of what's going on around you socially so you don't have to fear

Oh dick tan and coming up on you from behind when there's no chance it's

really gonna happen in the back of most men's minds there's a nagging fear that

Biff Tannen or some giant bully is gonna come flying out of the corner of a bar

or restaurant or in public when they act up when they talk too loud when they

give them the sly eye when they talk to their girl for some reason were wired

this way and there's been a lot of speculation as to why one of the answers

is that we're living one of the safest societies we ever have the chance of you

getting killed by physical violence especially as a man is so so so low but

two thousand five thousand years ago this chance is pretty high and even if

you didn't die if you got a broken arm and it didn't heal right now you're

crippled for the rest of your life there was a lot of fear there was a lot of

risk it being exposed to physical violence so we needed to be kind of on

edge and be aware and prevent that from happening

the problem is nowadays we're living in a safer time so our brains were actually

programmed for 5 10 20 50 thousand years ago that programming is good it kept us

alive but now it's not only not accurate but it does us a disservice because it

can make us feel shy and uncomfortable in public and in public situations we

want to feel nice and loose and have a good

time and enjoy the fact that society in public is a very safe place right now

another thing we're fighting another headwind that we're flying against is

the fact that our culture if you live in the United States Canada a lot of

Scandinavian countries especially they teach a very conservative type of

mentality right in school never talk loud never speak out of place you know

kind of stand in line right a little uniformity is encouraged don't

talk too loud so now you've got your genetics and that old ancient

programming that's fighting you you've got current culture that's fighting you

all telling you this we need to very carefully systematically

desensitize and change this programming so we can act comfortable and more

importantly feel comfortable when we're out in public so how can we do this well

I would encourage you to just dip the old toe in the water just to get

comfortable being a little bit louder than what you normally would be the

beauty of all this is that your subconscious it wants you to be as high

value and high status and successful as you can be but remember your

subconscious is built on this old programming so all we need to do is pull

our subconscious kicking and screaming to the point with some logical thought

with the new brain our logic that's grown over the old brain I'm sure that's

not scientifically accurate but we need to pull it to the point with our logic

that now the emotion and all that other stuff is gonna fight the good fight

because we do all the different parts of our brain want the same thing but

unfortunately they're conflicting when it comes to being in public and being in

front of people because we're fighting these two forces so what you need to do

do something that is a little bit more standout than you normally would okay

you know the old adage the tall poppy gets cut down right be a little more

tall poppy you're in line at the good old Pete's coffee right and you go to

the barista you talk just a little bit louder than you normally would so people

around you can actually hear okay not rude trust me I hate it when people are

rude and disrespectful and loud like that I'll call people after that all the

time believe how rude that is but a little

bit louder like when you're talking to BRE stuff the people around you are

going to hear you no matter if you talk like a baby or if you talk like a normal

human being talk like a normal human being she says hey hello how are you

right match that hey I'm good how are you so many people some reason of the

time the barista the Brezza talks at a normal volume into normal cadence and

all of a sudden they slow it down and really fat so hey I'm good how are you

like what you're ordering your coffee or in a place where you're supposed to

order coffee speak like a human but your subconscious is saying what dude don't

be too loud Biff Tannen it's got a haymaker that he's winding up he's gonna

come across your head keep your voice down man

you looking at Butthead so you got to understand it's gonna feel uncomfortable

you got to step through that pull the subconscious through that and then

realize how it feels you don't have to do much other than that your

subconscious is gonna fight the good fight after that's gonna realize you're

safe and it's gonna encourage you that next time so next time maybe feeling a

really fine bravado you decide to strike up a conversation with the dude behind

you right and you say something about the goodies in the rack one of them

looks especially good right you're gonna stay with that same confidence now when

you go up to the barista and make your place your order how she gonna treat you

much more high-value why you wouldn't say you didn't say anything to her

before you ordered but just you talking to this guy in a strong voice do you

know you're saying to her hey pretty high status I feel comfortable in this

environment my voice is not wavering probably a pretty cool high status guy

you've been saying that to her almost verbatim through subconscious their

subconscious that sounds like so woo woo stuff through brain waves you've been

saying that exact thing to or through your sub communication your interaction

with this person so now you go up and all the sudden

you're treated a bit cooler than you were before but we're high status here

before who's noticing that well everyone around you but who else your

subconscious your subconscious wants what's best for you just need to give

that subconscious a little kick bring it out of the Stone Age so we can see wow

this old program is no longer relevant it's ingrained it's ingrained over

millions of years millions of years probably a lot of

years and a lot of generations but it still wants the best for you so once you

can show it clearly the reality of the new environment and you can see that by

not not trying to get you to do some things actually makes you more

successful now it's on your side very important to do

It's strange but not ironic that one week before a key person was about to provide his

crucial testimony in court, he was found dead with a bullet in the back of the head.

Despite it being impossible to commit suicide this way, that's what his cause of death

has been ruled as after being found dead in his Miami, Florida home.

He's certainly not the first to be found this way with a certain connection, but he's

the only one with the keys to the most damning information yet that was only a week from

coming out.

President Donald Trump has been reamed by the left over the past several days by referring

to so-called the third world country of Haiti as a "shithole."

His comment was accurate of the area that's been struck by natural disaster and suffered

under years of socialism.

It's considered a "third world country" for a reason and the president just rightfully

referred to it by a more blunt statement, without a care for who it would offend since

it's the same as calling it "3rd world,"…which is pretty much a third rate place nobody wants

to be.

However, a heaping dose of irony just surfaced from this "shithole" that's connected

to the supposed suicide death in Miami.

Haiti didn't have to be a "shithole" today, in fact, there's only one reason

they are after having received a heaping dose of funds.

Money donated to this country through relief efforts was filtered through the Clinton's

fraudulent foundation.

Hillary and "Slick Willy" Bill made themselves look like philanthropists more than Trump

and was something she spun to her advantage during her presidential campaign.

It didn't help her to win and now she's even a bigger loser after it's being discovered

that not only did she lie about her relief effort, she stole from the victims as well

who are suffering in their "shithole" squalor.

What's even worse, is that more people seemed to be concerned with Trump calling Haiti a

"shithole" rather than Hillary stealing donation money that was to go to making it

not a "shithole."

Now, one innocent man with all the details has been shot dead – and it's not suicide

as authorities are calling it for reasons we can only believe they were paid to say.

It's no secret that the Clinton Foundation has been facing credible reports of robbing

impoverished Haitians who were devastated by Hurricane Hanna in 2008, through their

"foundation."

Haitians have been protesting for years outside of the Clinton Foundation offices over the

theft of money that was donated by individuals and businesses to the Clinton Foundation that

never made it to the poorest of the poor.

One man was set to testify against the Clinton Foundation next week.

That man was 50 year old former Haitian government official Klaus Eberwein.

He was found dead in his Miami home with a "gunshot to the head" that's been ruled

a "suicide" by the Miami-Dade's medical examiner records supervisor.

Klaus Eberwein, a former Haitian government official who was expected to expose the extent

of Clinton Foundation corruption and malpractice next week, has been found dead in Miami.

He was 50.

Eberwein was due to appear next Tuesday before the Haitian Senate Ethics and Anti-Corruption

Commission where he was widely expected to testify that the Clinton Foundation misappropriated

Haiti earthquake donations from international donors.

Klaus Eberwein

Eberwein, who had acknowledged his life was in danger, was a fierce critic of the Clinton

Foundation's activities in the Caribbean island, where he served as director general

of the government's economic development agency, Fonds d'assistance économique et

social, for three years.

According to Eberwein, a paltry 0.6% of donations granted by international donors to the Clinton

Foundation with the express purpose of directly assisting Haitians actually ended up in the

hands of Haitian organizations.

A further 9.6% ended up with the Haitian government.

The remaining 89.8% – or $5.4 billion – was funneled to non-Haitian organizations.

The Clintons leave such a trail of misconduct that's only bound to catch up with them

and has recently it has…repeatedly since Trump isn't willing to let all these "sudden

deaths" go.

The body count that continues to accumulate around Clintons has reached unprecedented

levels.

They operate under the mentality that "dead men don't talk," which may be the case,

but the evidence proves the truth.

It's just sickening and ironic that the outrage in the country right now is over a

word used to describe Haiti and not the blatant theft from the Clintons who could have fixed

it with the funds they raised but chose to keep it for themselves.

Making it much worse is that the man with the specific answers and details on this is

dead, and it's not ironic.

It's criminal and someone needs to pay for it.

Nintendo Labo: A Theory about Nintendos Plans with Nintendo Labo. - Duration: 6:50.

Yesterday Nintendo announced that they have an announcement to make.

They promised it would be a new interactive experience for kids and kids at heart.

And so the internet came together and started to speculate what nintendo has in store for

us.

Could it be Animal Crossing, a Mario Maker, news about pokemon, a new IP or some sort

of Nintendo VR?

My bet actually was that they would present some news about their upcoming theme park,

but well nope.

We all were wrong.

It's cardboard.

Basically Nintendo Labo is about cardboard toys that have to be built and then act as

self made cardboard controller gadgets for minigames.

There is going to be a fully functional cardboard piano, a fishing rod, and a freakin robot

cardboard mech suit kinda thing.Basically nintendo is going back to its roots.

Like really far back to its roots.

When I first saw this I was excited, I love to build stuff, I spent half of my childhood

playing lego and video games, and this gadget kinda combines both things in a really interesting

way.

It got me excited but I wasn't blown away by it.

But since then I had a little bit of time to think about the concept and to be honest,

I believe nintendo is trying to do more with this concept than it might appear at first

glance.

I think they try to completely revolutionize how separate gadgets for video games are sold,

and what gadgets can be for video games.

In this video I want to talk about my theory what nintendo is planning, and I want to point

out some things shown in the trailer that got a little bit lost in the early reception

of the Nintendo Labo.

So are you ready?

Let's do this!

So in case you missed yesterday's trailer, nintendo announced two products.

The variety kit which features five different things to built.

A small moving robot, a house, a fishing rod, a motorbike and the piano.

These gadgets have to be built before they can be used and then there are a couple of

minigames that can be played using them.

They all make heavy use of the joycons tech, the piano for example works by using the IR

camera of the joycon, which is able to see which keys were pressed, and then the switch

outputs the correlating sound.

That one is sold for about 70$.

The other product is the robot kit which features a really weird motion tracking AR suit, cardboard

glasses for the switch and a robot game, where as far as I can tell the robot is controlled

by real movement.

This kit is sold for about 80$.

So far so good.

So the idea is that they sell toys which we have to build ourselves and then we are able

to play games using these toys.

As far as we currently know the games seem to be super small mini games, except for the

robot suit game.

The robot suit game is probably what happened to project giant robot a game that was only

shown once at the E3 2014 by miyamoto and since then disappeard.

Since at least the games featured in the variety set do not look like they have all too much

depth to them I think the main concept/idea is to build these things together.

The question is how much fun it is to built these toy-cons as nintendo calls them, and

as far as I know nintendo they probably completely nailed this and it is probably a ton of fun

to put the different pieces together.

The piano allegedly takes two hours to built.

So if it takes let's say 5 hours to built the five toy-cons featured in the variety

set and each of the games is fun for two hours to play then the set actually already has

a pretty decent value for its price.

For the robot kit it really depends on how developed the game is, and there is no way

to know right now, but if they charge 80$ for it then the game needs to be a full fledged

title, with the toycon sold on top of it, in order to make it worth it's money.

Which kinda brings me to my point.

So far these toycons look like the main product to me and the games are more or less a bonus

to give them a reason to exist in the first place.

Which is totally fine for me, but I believe that's not what nintendo is going for here.

I think they still plan to keep the focus on the games in the long run but to sell toy-cons

together with the games.

Like the next mario kart may come in two versions.

A 60$ standard version and a 80$ toycon version that features the game, and a toycon racing

wheel which can be used to play the game, and takes about 3 hours to built together.

I don't think it's nintendo's plan to build toys that are supported by games, but

games that are supported by toys in the long run, and this is really really interesting

because if we assume that's their plan then they basically plan to revolutionize the way

gadgets work for games.

If we take the mario kart example once again, there were these plastic racing wheels which

were sold together with mario kart wii.

Those were a little bit silly but it was fun to play mario kart this way.

These gadgets didn't even do much on their own.

Now imagine instead of these plastic racing wheels the game was sold together with a responsive

racing wheel contraption featuring haptic feedback and an accelerator.

That would not only be the way cooler gadget by itself, but it would probably be a blast

to built it together for three hours, while not being much more expensive to produce than

the plastic wheel.

Maybe even cheaper.

It would be environmentally friendly, and it would even provide a fun learning experience

on how basic mechanics work for kids.

Plus by building together the racing wheel players are way more emotionally invested

in this gadget than they are into their 9.99$ plastic wheel.

It's turning gadgets into a game itself.

Just imagine metroid being sold with a blaster that you can build and then wear on your arm

while playing the game, or a skyward sword remake where you actually have a sword in

your hand, or a pokemon snap game where you are actually running through your living room

with a camera that can be sharpened by turning it's lense.

Or a mario party that comes with a big contraption that has tons of different ways to interact

with and is used to play mario party games together with friends, on a board-game like

contraption in front of you that is designed to feature tons and tons of different ways

to interact with.

Or a toy set where you are able to program small cardboard contraptions you build yourself.

That sounds really interesting to me.

So here's the thing, nintendo actually showcased way more products in yesterdays trailer than

they announced to sell so far.

Here is the racing wheel that could potentially be used for a f-zero or mario kart game, here

is a pew-pew contraption that could be used in shooter or in metroid, here is a contraption

which I have no idea what it is for, but I could imagine that something like this could

work to support a party game, here is a screenshot of a really simple programming interface for

self built contraptions,and here is a really strange bird.

I have no idea what the bird could do.

There was also a camera shown, a huge joystick and something that looks like a bass drum.

I don't think all these gadgets are meant to be gadgets which feature a small mini game

along with them.

I actually believe that a lot of these gadgets have triple A games going along with them

and if I'm right about this, this would mean that nintendo labo is basically nintendo's

way of handling accessories for their games on the switch.

They are turning the gaming gadgets into games itself.

Maybe this concept is even open for third party developers and we are soon able to play

skyrim with a real bow, not even to mention what indie developers may are able to do with

this concept.

I'm honestly really hyped, and can't wait to find out what nintendo exactly has in store

for us, but I think that they have far far bigger plans with this concept, than just

building a couple of cardboard toys for minigames!

Me time

Some people would love nothing more than a night to themselves.

But it turns out that's Ina's worst nightmare.

When asked what misery looks like to her, she told Vanity Fair,

"An evening home alone with nothing to do."

Nuclear day job

Watching Ina cook, it's as if she's done this her whole life.

But there was a time when she was as far from the food industry as you can get.

She told PBS,

"I was working at OMB, office management and budget."

"For the federal government?"

"Yeah, for Ford and Carter.

And, uh, I worked on nuclear energy policy."

But Ina always knew deep down that she was meant to work with food.

She said,

"I hit 30, and I thought, I want to do what I want to do.

And I thought, I want to be in the food business."

Starting out

Ina essentially fell into the food business when she saw an ad for a specialty food store,

for sale, in the Hamptons.

She made a very low offer on the place, and drove back home to Washington, expecting to

negotiate.

Her offer was accepted the next day.

She said,

"And I just remember going, 'oh s---.'

...Two months later, I was behind the counter of a specialty foods store, trying to figure

it out."

Flip or flambé

Before she broke into cooking, Ina made extra cash flipping houses in Washington D.C.

While her side hustle was lucrative, it also had its challenges.

She revealed to People,

"I went to the bank to take out a loan and they said 'Well we can't count your salary.

We can only count Jeffrey's'...

They said, 'Well you're just going to get pregnant and quit.'"

Thankfully, Ina never quit.

Family matters

Ina confesses that having kids was never her calling.

She revealed on Katie Couric's podcast,

"We decided not to have children…

But I really felt, I feel, that I would never have been able to have the life I've had…

and so it's a choice."

Nervous wreck

Ina Garten may be a cooking pro, but she still gets nervous when it comes to preparing for

a party.

She told People,

"I'm the most anxious cook…

I'm nervous when I invite people to my house because I think they expect something spectacular.

And, you know, sometimes it is, and sometimes it's good but not great."

Even Ina struggles with some dishes — and she has yet to nail a Boston cream pie.

warning us that Donald Trump's rhetoric and his actions are inspiring acts of violence

around the United States.

This is a sentiment that's been shared by organizations like the Southern Poverty Law

Center, that actually tracks these kinds of crimes, as well as other experts and activists.

They've been telling us the exact same thing.

Well, this week, Democratic Representative Jamie Raskin was supposed to meet with two

of these psychiatrists, one of them being Doctor Brandy Lee who is the editor of the

recent book The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump.

Instead, this meeting had to be canceled, because they were receiving violent threats

from Donald Trump supporters, because they wanted to sit and talk about the mental health

of Donald Trump, which as Doctor Brandy Lee pointed out, literally confirms everything

that they have been warning us about with regards to Donald Trump.

They say that his words inspire acts of violence, so they're gonna go talk about it, but the

meeting has to be canceled because of the violent threats they were receiving.

This is the other side of the Donald Trump mental illness coin that we haven't really

discussed too much.

That is not just that this man has a problem, but that his problems are creating other problems

out here in the United States, specifically with the incitation of violence among American

citizens perpetrated by his supporters.

We have seen this happening in this country since he was just a candidate in the primaries.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has done a phenomenal job of tracking all of these hate

crimes that have been committed by Donald Trump supporters against minorities, against

Muslims, against immigrants, against anyone that Donald Trump has told them is an enemy

of the United States.

Donald Trump's words do have real world consequences and they're not consequences that anyone should

be proud of, or that anyone should welcome, and it all goes back to this potential mental

illness that Donald Trump may have.

He thinks he is above the law.

He thinks he is better than everybody else, and he knows that in order to stay in office

he has to get the support of the alt-right so he's gonna go out there at every opportunity

and say that those Neo-Nazis who killed a woman, there were still some very fine people

in there, but if you're an NFL player and you're black, and you kneel during the National

Anthem you're a son of a bitch.

That's the world of Donald Trump.

It is racism, it is sexism, it is disgusting rot all the way through his brain.

Those people who still support him, and are willing to threaten violence against others

because they love Trump so much, I'm willing to bet, and I'm willing to say, that they

suffer from the exact same kinds of mental illnesses that the President does.

There is no rational thinking, normally functioning human being that can look at Donald Trump

and say, "That's what a President should look like."

If you believe that that is was a President should look like, I strongly suggest you go

get a mental health evaluation, because there's something not right.

There's something not right about this administration.

There is something not right about this country today, and to be honest, most of it begins

with Donald Trump.

Donald Trump won't take criticism about his family from anyone, especially haggard

old suck face Madonna and some halfwit slam-pig SNL writer Katie Rich.

Trump met with Hannity for an interview and threw some hard hitting blows back at the

two treacherous turds.

The president sat down with Fox's Sean Hannity on Thursday to appear on his namesake show,

his second interview since taking office last Friday.

He blasted NBC's Saturday Night Live and a 'terrible' attack by one of its writers

who said his 10-year-old son Barron would become the 'country's first homeschool

shooter'.

Urged for his view by Hannity who commended Barron as a 'wonderful, smart, charming

kid', President Trump said it was 'terrible' he'd been subject to attack.

'Saturday Night Live, a person from Saturday Night Live was terrible.

'I don't mind some humor but it's terrible.

For them to attack, for NBC to attack my 10-year-old son…it's a disgrace.

He's a great boy.

And it's not an easy thing for him.

Believe me.'

He also addressed Madonna and a spate of celebrities who took part in protests against him held

across the country last weekend.

At a Washington DC march, Madonna told crowds she'd considered 'blowing up the White

House'.

'Honestly, she's disgusting.

I think she hurt herself very badly.

I think she hurt that whole cause,' President Trump said of the singer's unhinged outburst.

'I thought her and a couple of others.

But I thought she was in particular, I thought what she said was disgraceful to our country.'

For Katie Rich, this is the first time anyone's really heard of her, so maybe she was just

trying to get her ten minutes of fame.

She got it.

Then she got bullied off Twitter.

Then she got fired.

All for bullying a ten-year-old.

Jeez, what's the world come to these days when you can't even pick on a kid, right?

Was it worth it to get her name known?

Probably not in that way.

Who would hire her now?

She will be unemployed for quite some time.

Might see her at an AA meeting one day because she drinks her mistakes away.

Madonna hasn't been relevant since her album "Like a Virgin" released in 1984.

Now she's more like a whore turned into an old liberal suck-face with booty implants.

She's trying so hard to be liked, but she's fallen into the bear trap known as liberalism

and she's not getting out anytime soon.

Had Madonna simply enjoyed her life without being an over-spoken liberally diseased pig

who oinks nonsense everywhere she goes, then people might actually like her.

Now?

Not so much.

Madonna is a vile disgusting pig and the worst woman you can show to your daughter.

Madonna is everything you want your children to NOT become, which is an embarrassment to

the country.

I hope more people chose to not be like her or Katie Rich.
