Learning as an Adult | @fandommattersaf - Duration: 4:19.

Hi, my name is Amanda. Welcome back to my channel. While all I can really think

about today is YouTube's mass demonetization of small channels, I'm going

to talk about something else because I feel like I've gotten most of my

thoughts out on Twitter so if you follow me on Twitter @fandommattersaf, you

can read all of my thoughts as they basically came in my head from last

night onward so... Today's video is going to be about how to continue learning in

adulthood after you're finished with any schooling that you may have done. It's

important to continue learning throughout your life, not only to feel

good about yourself but to work out your brain essentially and to continue to

develop your skills and your careers. And that third thing is what I'm mainly

going to focus on in this video - how to keep learning new things so that you can

progress in your career and so that you can always feel like you're learning

something and working toward a goal. I personally find that very important and

before I was doing that I felt kind of lost and then from the point where I

really refocused my energy and started trying to learn things and develop

myself, I have felt a lot more confident in where I'm going in life. So my first

tip is: if you know what you want to learn, definitely just dive in go after

it. I'm going to talk about some resources a little bit later on in the

video for doing that, but if you were unsure of what you want to learn, I would

suggest looking at some job descriptions for jobs you may be interested in doing

or what you're applying for if you are in that process, and try to learn

anything that are in those lists of skills required or tasks you would do on

that job and try to learn some of those skills. So for me, after college I wanted

to work in communications and social media and something I was really lacking

at that time was video and graphic skills. After realizing that and also

wanting to create videos and being very interested in video production in

general, I kind of dove into that and made sure I learned how to edit videos

using Adobe Premiere and I also learned a bit of Photoshop but the way that I

learned Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, primarily, is by online tutorials from

lynda.com. So Lynda is one of my top tools for learning new skills and

developing in creative areas. So they have a lot of programs for video, for

graphics, for audio, marketing in general. There's a lot of

really great resources there but they also have a lot of tech things,

engineering, coding, that sort of thing. So there's a wide range of abilities you

can learn on lynda.com. I started with our Premiere Pro essential learning

course and that really helped me dive right into video editing. I immediately

started working on my first video for this channel and I used those skills to

get the job that I'm in now. If I hadn't started that channel I don't know if I

would have gotten this job without those video skills and I use them every single

day at work. I have a free subscription right now through my local city's

library so if you look at your local library or at a city close to you, on

their website maybe and see what kind of potential offers they have for that.

Otherwise it's $35 a month which is very expensive but they also have 10-day free

trials and trust me, I did like five to ten of those before I learned about the

library thing and it has been a really great resource for me using it freely.

There's also a website called Skillshare which seems kind of similar. I believe

people post up educational videos on there. I'm not sure what kind of process

that is but I've heard that people have learned skills like that on there as

well and another one is Code Academy. If you're interested in learning to code, I

learned a little bit of really basic HTML on there but they have all

different types of coding languages. If you feel stuck as an adult and you want

to learn something new, those are definitely tools I would highly

recommend. I just think it's important to dig in and always keep learning - keeps

your brain fresh, it keeps you feeling confident in yourself, and for me I

always loved being in school. I always loved learning and having new

information come into my mind and I find it really important to continue to do

that on my own. The three steps are to pick a skill you know you want to learn or look

at job descriptions to figure out what it might be important for you to learn,

and then find an online resource that will teach you those things. If you need

any tips to stay motivated or organized for that endeavor, I can talk about that

in a later video and I'm happy to talk about this further down in the comments.

Tell me about a skill that you learned recently or that you want to learn next

and I'll see you in my next video, bye!

American Traitor! RINO Paul Ryan Secretly Pushed 'Gang of 8' Illegal Amnesty Bill - Duration: 4:01.

American Traitor!

RINO Paul Ryan Secretly Pushed 'Gang of 8' Illegal Amnesty Bill [DETAILS]

Paul Ryan has been a weak Speaker of the House from day one.

He needs to go.

Ryan constantly calls out President Trump – even to this day.

Now it is being reported that Ryan was secretly pushing for the 'Gang of 8' amnesty bill

to go through.

From Breitbart: Republicans will destroy their base of political

support if they help pass a "crappy" amnesty bill, said Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) on Wednesday.

Gosar, a member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, remarks came in an interview

with Breitbart News's Senior Editors-at-Large Rebecca Mansour and Joel Pollak on SiriusXM's

Breitbart News Tonight.

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) had previously pushed amnesty via the "Gang of Eight" bill under

the guise of "comprehensive immigration reform," noted Gosar, casting doubt on Ryan's

positioning on ongoing amnesty-related negotiations.

Mansour asked him why Ryan is not pushing an opening offer on the "DACA deal" with

the GOP's "strongest position."

Partial transcript below: MANSOUR: It seems as if [the Freedom Caucus]

is trying to ask Speaker Ryan to introduce the strongest position that we have on this

DACA deal.

If the president really wants it — and the president is pushing for it — okay, we gotta

have this amnesty, then at least let's hold the line and have an amnesty that's not

just a total giveaway.

Let's at least get something big out of it, which is what this Goodlatte bill [does].

And we've talked with everybody about this [bill] — at least it ends chain migration;

at least it puts in a mandatory E-Verify; at least it gives these really crucial things

that we've been fighting for.

I don't understand, you explain to me, why is Speaker Ryan not doing this?

Because it seems like a really sensible thing what you're suggesting here.

GOSAR: Once again, you have to look back at the speaker.

The speaker was one of the people behind closed doors trying to push the Gang of Eight, before.

So, there's some differences of opinion as to where the speaker actually stands.

Now, he's made promises openly, and Dave Brat — my good friend from Virginia, another

Freedom Caucus member — has reiterated over and over again the promises that [Paul Ryan]

made that a DACA fix had to have a majority of the Republican House Conference before

it could go to the floor and that it wouldn't be tied to a spending bill.

Over and over, they've reiterated it.

But as you know, trust is a series of promises kept.

Why would we have trust in our leadership when we've seen this playbook over and over

again, and seeing loss after loss after loss?

MANSOUR: The other thing I wanted to ask you, though, do you think Speaker Ryan understands

that if we do a sort of giveaway with DACA — if we let the deadline go and we have

that pressure in February when the spending bill comes back up again, and there's this

pressure to just, "Okay, we gotta throw in DACA, too" — doesn't he understand

that if you get an amnesty giveaway that is this weak, that's just a total giveaway,

that it's really going to hurt the GOP in the midterm elections?

Does he get that, do you think?

GOSAR: I don't think it just hurts us, Rebecca, I think it destroys us because there's no

trust left in the base.

Promises were made, and promises weren't kept.

Once again, trust is a series of promises kept.

Why would our base trust us?

So from that standpoint, I think there has to be.

But also look at the telltale signs, you know, the report that was floated that this might

be [Paul Ryan's] last year.

So if he gets what he wants, maybe he walks away, and no harm no foul, according to the

way he looks at it.

What a shame!

What do you think about this?

WHY I STARTED MY NANO REEF AQUARIUM - Duration: 6:39.

What's up Reefers! In today's video I'm going to be doing a little bit of storytelling

I'm going to talk about why and how I first got started in this hobby

and some of the people that were really influential to me to get to the

point that I am today

So I started my first ever aquarium, a freshwater aquarium,

about three years ago in my dorm room in undergrad.

Now starting this tank was not even my idea originally, my roommate suggested

that we get a fish and just put it in a standard traditional goldfish bowl.

However, I ended up staying up all night researching everything there is to know

about freshwater fish and the next day I ended up buying all of this fancy

equipment and decorations and I was so excited

I bought a beautiful blue betta fish

Turns out despite staying up all night trying to research everything

about freshwater fish I wasn't as thorough as I initially thought

I didn't know anything about the nitrogen cycle and I didn't know that betta's don't like

any flow in the tank, or at least limited flow, so my betta fish ended up dying

a couple of days later now this was super tragic for me I had never killed a

little being in my life I was very very upset and I vowed to never kill another

fish again so I ended up changing out a few things in my tank and changing my

fish to a school of neon tetras

I ended up making that tank very successful

I still have those neon tetras in a tank in my house

I find it really hilarious, I decorated that pink to look just like a coral reef with little plastic corals

and everything it's so cute

But after a few months of keeping this tank stable

and happy I got kind of bored.

I wanted something a little bit more challenging

fresh water it's quite simplistic in the care and information you need to know so

I decided I really want to eventually start a reef tank.

When I was little, I always dreamed of having a reef tank. I remember visiting the aquarium with my

parents and seeing the most beautiful aquarium I've ever seen and I told my mom,

"one day I'm going to have a reef tank just like this one" and she said

that oh you know, "don't even think about it they're extremely difficult to keep..

you'll never be able to keep one," so I always thought keeping a reef tank was

next to impossible and I didn't think that I would ever be able to start one

but because my freshwater tank was starting to bore me a little bit

and I wanted something new to learn about and something new to

research and start up, I started looking into learning about everything there is

to know about saltwater aquariums and reef aquariums in particular.

I did this for many many many months and I just felt like I wasn't comfortable enough to

start my own aquarium. I felt that I had enough knowledge to start a aquarium

but at the same time I thought I knew absolutely nothing

There are so many things to learn about I found it so overwhelming I just never thought I

could ever really start one but then one day I randomly decided to visit this new

fish store that specialized in saltwater aquariums that I never been to that was

really close to where I lived so I visited the store and it really changed

my perspective on things the staff was so friendly and I think I hung out there

for like something like 2 or 3 hours which is crazy because the store is so

tiny but the staff was so friendly and they walked me through everything and

they finally just made me feel comfortable with taking the leap and

getting a saltwater aquarium so for the next month or so I researched all of the

products that I would like to have for my tank and I settled on the Biocube

29 gallons because it kind of made all the equipment and all the processes that

you need for saltwater tanks very simple there weren't many selections or options

that I could add and then I ended up buying it and it arrived a week later

once it arrived and I said everything up and started to get the tank cycling with

my rock I was very patient which I think led to my success that I had early on

nothing really went wrong for months and it was all going according to plan so I

just kept getting more confident with the hobby and just growing to love it

more and more every day the biggest help I had was that local reef store they

walked me through everything and to this day they walk me through everything

they're probably the greatest help I owe everything to this store and I was

documenting the progress of my tank on my Facebook page because that was really

the only social media I've used at the time but I felt like I was really

bugging my friends because I don't think many people all my friends lists really

enjoy the hobby as much as I started to so I decided one day to make an

Instagram to post pictures and videos of my tank for my friends that actually

cared to see it instead of bothering everybody on the newsfeed and after

starting this Instagram I think my love for the hobby really kicked off because

I didn't anticipate that people would enjoy looking at pictures of my tank I

mean I was such a newbie and to this day I consider myself a newbie and and I

just get a lot of feedback from people saying that they really enjoy the

pictures I post and they are asking me for advice and all sorts of things and

that means so much when I really am new to this hobby just like everybody else

that's asking me these things so I really enjoy that, it's allowed me to

talk to a lot of people who also share this hobby like I do and it even just

gave me a hobby in general I never had a hobby before this people are always

saying "oh, go get a hobby" I just had nothing that really interested me so

finding reef aquariums really changed my life and allowed me to combine my love

for photography - which I'm not really good at - but I enjoy taking pictures with

reefing and this has led to a whole different set of hobbies like my

Instagram and now my youtube which are really fun for me and I'm just really

happy that I started and had the courage to begin because a

lot of people make it out to seem like starting a saltwater tank particularly

a reef tank is just next to impossible to do and this is so far from

the truth if you do your research ahead of time and have the help of somebody to

guide you through it like I did with my local fish store it's really not as

difficult as it seems if you want to make it happen and if you really are

dedicated to doing it they only started this hobby three years ago and I've only

had my first saltwater tank for one year but I thoroughly enjoy it and

although the story behind how I start my saltwater tank is not that interesting

I just wanted to share it and give a little back story about how I personally

started if you guys enjoyed this video of my story of how I started my reef aquarium

and what got me into this hobby make sure to like the video below if you

have any questions for me or any suggestions for any future videos you

would like to see post those ideas in the comments below also don't forget to

Kirby: The DEADLIEST Nintendo Character? - Duration: 7:53.

We've seen the buffest of them all…

But sometimes technique can go farther than brawn.

So let's talk about martial arts.

In games and media we've seen hundreds of takes on these defensive techniques.

From the antics of Jackie Chan to the out of control planet-busting power levels of

Dragon Ball Z, the art has taken on many forms.

In fact, the power possessed by some of these individuals is truly frightening.

None, perhaps, as imposing as the pink, pudgy, child-like monster that is Kirby.

What, you were expecting Majin Buu?

Kirby has shown time and time again his great resourcefulness and strength while defending

the denizens of Dreamland.

With his token copy ability to take on the skills and magic properties of his foes, he

is truly one formidable puff.

When I was younger I was simply obsessed with the Kirby universe.

I would replay the games over and over again with my brothers as it was certainly a treat

to do so.

It felt so magical, and I sorta felt like Kirby was the underdog of the Nintendo character

roster.

A lot of people simply judged the series for its child-like appeal, which I always found

pretty disheartening.

He's just a circular pink blob!

He's weak!

He has to steal in order to do anything!

The thing is, Kirby is way stronger than he lets on to be.

Throughout the games he can be seen breaking through rocks, punching metal clad knights,

and a whole lot of other noteworthy acts.

His powers are truly out of this world, but if there is one moment that I was truly blown

away by Kirby's power, it was in Kirby Super Star.

One of his many adventures in this game pits him in a contest of strength.

His foe?

A stack of innocent bricks.

Now you'd be forgiven, considering his bouncy nature, for thinking Kirby was a lightweight.

I mean, surely this tiny pink marshmallow can't pack THAT much of a punch, right?

You'd be quickly proven wrong in 'Megaton Punch' when, upon a perfect execution, Kirby not

only splits the bricks beneath his feet but the very planet of Popstar itself…

Which is absolutely incredible.

To sunder a world, just how much power does our pint sized hero possess?

Is it even possible to split a planet in two like that?

We're gonna need to put our hardcore thinking caps on for this one, so buckle up folks.

First and foremost, let's look at what we see in game.

A perfect execution of the Megaton Punch mini game splits the planet in two and gives us

a number of 201 MT.

Now MT is a unit of measurement which stands for Megatons.

Megatons are essentially a measurement of energy that is comparable to one thousand

kilograms of TNT.

If for some reason you're unfamiliar with TNT, it's a chemical compound that is typically

used in construction, mining, and the military.

According to wikipedia and conversion calculators, the amount of energy released from 1000 kilograms

of TNT is 4.184 gigajoules - with a gigajoule being 10 to the 9th power in Joules.

Going down the rabbit hole even further, a Watt is one joule of energy per second.

To help visualize this, the lightbulbs in your house may have a range of watts written

on them.

A 65 watt light bulb means it consumes 65 watts in a time span of an hour: So 3600 seconds

in an hour, at 65 watts per hour, would mean you'd have 234,000 joules of energy being

consumed from that light in an hour of time.

So if we divide a Megaton by this amount of joules, that means you'd need 17,880.32

light bulbs running for an hour straight to equal this amount of energy.

But a bomb's impact energy is released in a timespan that's less than a second…

So think about condensing all that down into a single moment.

A single moment where Kirby strikes the ground.

But even then, we're only talking about one megaton still.

Kirby's punch clocked in 201 MT's total - or two hundred and one times what we just

calculated.

To put things into perspective, the biggest bomb mankind has ever made was the Tsar Bomba

- and that was only comparable to 50 megatons of TNT.

I use the word "only" very loosely here, because that bomb was hella big, with the

initial burst being 8 kilometers in diameter.

The mushroom cloud reached heights of 95 km and its base expanded to 40 km wide according

to an online publication by Russian Today International.

That fire ball would have looked like Frieza destroying the planet, but in the grand scale

of the size of our world, it was still quite small.

With a force of four times that amount focused in one area, we essentially have what Kirby

and friends were capable of punching.

But even with an impact of 201 MT, the planet would surely not crack in two.

According to recent discoveries showcased by BBC, it is claimed that Asteroids have

delivered forces upon earth equal to several billion nuclear bombs going off at once.

This of course wiped out the atmosphere, and changed the entire world…

But it didn't split our planet.

Some people may argue that Popstar is smaller than Earth, and that this is why this force

may have done this…

But I disagree.

While most people unfamiliar with the series probably think Super Smash Bros' sizes are

accurate, they are extremely off.

Kirby, and majority of the characters associated with him, are less than a foot tall.

Kirby is only eight inches to be precise.

In Kirby 64 we can see a glimpse of what may be a post-apocalyptic Earth in the form of

Shiver Star.

Shiver Star literally looks like a frozen earth…

I mean, those are the same continents and everything.

If we cycle back to Popstar, they appear to be comparable in size.

So that means if Popstar was split in two… the reading of 201 megatons isn't correct

at all.

Even if Popstar was flat, it simply wouldn't be enough force.

But all of this is an issue in itself.

The thing about Kirby's punch is that it behaves incorrectly.

A focused punch of that magnitude on the ground, assuming one's fist wouldn't get obliterated

or incinerated by the output, wouldn't just travel directly in a straight line until it

reached the other side of the planet.

It wouldn't stick to one direction like that.

The impact would reach out in all directions, and this entire arena we are standing in would

be completely destroyed.

Everyone nearby would be dead, this stadium would seemingly vanish, and the planet wouldn't

be split in two.

We would be left with a hefty crater though!

And if you squint really hard you can probably see Yamcha at the bottom.

Now this is me just being super nitpicky, but since we're already overthinking game

stuff I'm just gonna toss it out there.

This hairline crack we see on Popstar should technically be tens of miles wide if it is

visible from space.

So even if for some reason this planet was capable of cracking like a poreceline vase,

that would still mean that everything in this arena district would have collapsed into this

fault line or was launched miles away.

Kirby and his friends wouldn't be able to split the planet in two even if they had the

power to do so, because the strike itself wouldn't split the ground, but rather pulverize

it.

The impact, if scaled accordingly to the crack, would kick up so much debris into the atmosphere

that Popstar would probably end up looking like Shiverstar pretty soon.

And speaking of Shiverstar…

Actually, we're going to have to wait for another video for that one.

All in all - Kirby's punch doesn't add up, and if it did, there would be no more

Dreamland to save.

Plus gravity would probably pull the planet back together again if the force wasn't

enough to scatter the two halves.

One Punch Man better watch out though, because he's got some competition.

But now that I've dumped that on all of you, I'd of course love to hear your thoughts.

How powerful do you think Kirby really is?

Buff enough to crush your scouter?

Buff enough to handle this?

Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

And with that…

Thanks for tuning in for this sucker punch of a video!

If you aren't subscribed, go ahead a do so if you enjoyed this video.

I appreciate the support, and I have lots of cool stuff coming your way.

Anyways, thanks for watching guys and gals, and until my next video - cheers!

Panasonic HC-X1 4K Unboxing | Professional Camcorder Video Camera - Duration: 3:17.

Whats up guys, its Chris with Fire Toga and I just got this huge box in the mail today

from Amazon.

Let's take a look inside and check out my new video camera.

Its the Panasonic HC-X1 video camera that shoots in 4K.

I did a lot of research on cameras for about a month, I watched 100 YouTube videos and

this is the one I settled upon.

Let's take a look at what comes in the box.

Whats in the box?

Whats in the box?

Inside the box is another box.

So inside the box we've got our battery, we've got a double battery charger for our

1 battery, and it comes with an AC Adapter that can be plugged into the battery charger

to charge, or into the camera I believe, not 100% sure.

It also comes with your rubber eye hole, or whatever this thing is, which I heard is not

very good.

A little clip with which you can hook the microphone to the top of the handle, and 2

screws which are for something.

There's also a manual.

Pretty pretty pretty thick.

It probably comes in different languages, I heard its not very good either.

ohhhhh yeah.

Hahaha!

Wooo!

Wow.

This bad boy is freaking sweet.

It is a professional looking camera and if you go in somewhere with this they are going

to think you are freaking nightcrawler.

So check it out right here.

It fits right in your hand like this, its got a great handle on it.

You can do some runs and zooms like that.

But mainly I think I'll be shooting like this, right on your thumb is the record button

as well as the zoom in, but you can also use the 3 rings up here.

Its really easy to handle but its a little bit heavy.

There is an LCD screen, ooh, and now you've got LCD.

We're not gonna talk about the features too much because people do that in unboxings

when they haven't used the camera.

I've never used the camera.

So thats what you get in the box when you buy the HC-X1 from Panasonic.

It's right here in my hand.

First impressions its a little heavy but it looks really professional, it looks like it

is really well built.

But only time will tell as I'll test this out.

But for this video, thats all.

If you liked the video subscribe.

If you have one of these cameras let me know in the comments what you think about it what

your favorite features are.

I'm sure I'll be doing more videos on this coming up soon.

Thank you for watching.

Thank you for subscribing.

And see you later!

Offset Apologizes For Using 'Queer' Lyric On New Track - Duration: 1:30.

For Complex News, I'm Pierce Simpson // There is no denying the Migos' star status at this

point.. the trio from Atlanta has dominated the music scene in 2017, but while Quavo would

be the de-facto star to many -- Offset's brand has begun to bubble more and more; thanks

in part to his features and notable relationship with Cardi B.

However, Offset is catching a lot of backlash for his offensive lyrics on YFN Lucci's song,

Boss Life. In the song, Offset raps the line: "cannot vibe with queers." The backlash

was swift and immediate, with a firestorm of tweets being sent his way. Many people

pointed towards the fact that Offset wears a lot of designer clothes, that are created

by openly gay designers.

This isn't the first time that members of Migos have been accused of homophobic rhetoric.

In February of last year, during an interview with Rolling Stone, Quavo alluded to the world

being "f*cked up" in regards to fans supporting Makonnen after the singer opened up about

his sexuality. Migos would later clarify their statements...

Offset took to Instagram about his line on YFN Lucci's "Boss Life" record and issued

an apology...

"I didn't write the line about gay people. I have said before since these issues before

that I got love for all people. My passion for fashion has lead me to a lot of gay people

around me who I have mad respect for and we are very cool so I'm not in a place where

I'm hating like that....

"To me that 'queer' I don't mean someone who's gay. I mean lame people who film you,

post it and stalk you. Lingo that means strange or odd. I M S O R R Y I A P O L O G I Z E.

I'm offended I offended anybody"

For now, we'll see what comes of this entire situation... let us know your thoughts in

the comments section below and keep it locked to Complex News on YouTube.

History of Mosin-Nagant Rifle | Heroes and Generals - Duration: 5:38.

The 3-line rifle M1891 colloquially known as Mosin–Nagant is a five-shot, bolt-action,

internal magazine–fed, military rifle

In 1891, after testing was done on several bolt-action, repeating rifles, the Mosin-Nagant

rifle was adopted by Russia.

It is a collaboration of the designs by Sergei Ivanovich Mosin, Captain of the Russian Imperial

Army and a Belgian designer, Leon Nagant.

The production of the 1891 model occurred at the Russian arsenals located at Izhevsk,

Sestroryetsk, and Tula.

Due to the fact that domestic production got off to a slow start, a production contract

was issued to Chatellerault, a French arms company.

They built approximately 500,000 M91 rifles.

During World War I, contracts were issued to New England Westinghouse for 1.8 million

and Remington for 1.5 million M91 rifles.

Both of these companies were located in the United States.

At this time, both Remington and Winchester were supplying ammunition.

Because of the Russian revolution, contracts were not fulfilled and the rifles ended up

being sold to on the civilian market in the US and also to the US government for training.

Mosin-Nagant M91 models were used widely in WWI.

They can be found with various markings according to the country in Europe that either captured

or purchased them.

There are also several unusual variations that can be found.

Some of the variations are an 8mm conversion in Poland and various sling and bayonet mounting

systems.

Early in its life, there were two Cavalry rifles adapted from the Mosin-Nagant M91.

These were known as Cossack and Dragoon rifles.

They are 2.5 inches shorter than the M91, which is 51.25".

The main difference is the fact that the Cossack rifles were not issued with bayonets and the

Dragoon rifles were sighted with the bayonet attached.

Today, the Cossack rifles are very scarce and are very easy to recognize due to the

mark "Ka3" on the chamber.

A carbine model was adopted in 1907- the M1907- but it is very rare and is hardly ever seen

in the United States.

The production of the M91 model ended in the mid-1920s, when all the production was shifted

to the Dragoon rifles.

Updates were made to the Dragoon rifle in 1930, thereby creating a "new" rifle,

called the M91/30.

The changes included both the rear and front sights, split barrel bands held by springs,

and the hexagonal receiver was replaced with a round one.

The changes didn't all take place right away, but were slowly put into place.

Until the new machinery took effect, the existing parts were used up.

The hexagonal receivers were used until 1935 in Izhevsk and 1936 in Tula, the two arsenals

that produced the 91/30.

Many of the rifles that are dated before 1930 are found in the M91/30 design.

This is a result of programs that were put in place to update the older rifles by the

Soviet Union.

In the US, these are known as "ex-Dragoons."

The primary production of these rifles ended in 1944 with a few samples, mostly sniper

rifles, with later dates.

The M91/30s were used as the foundation for the sniper rifles from the mid-1930's with

various types of scopes and mounts.

Today, the most commonly seen rifle is the PU, which uses a side rail mount, was adopted

in 1942.

A 40 inch carbine was adopted in 1938 as the M38, but wasn't produced until 1939.

Basically, it is a shorter version of the M91/30 and was built until 1945 at Izhevsk.

Additionally, there was a limited production run at Tula in 1940 and 1944.

Both of the arsenals built some M38 models on both recycled hexagonal and round receivers.

The M38 was not designed with a bayonet, since it was intended for use by the rear troops.

In order to speed up the production of the Mosin-Nagant rifles, some minor changes were

made.

The most noticeable of the changes is the lack of the dished out area on the left side

of the ejection port.

In 1943, approximately 50,000 carbines were built and then tested in the battles.

These are basically an M38 with a side folding bayonet attached.

These were adopted in 1944 as the M44- production of these continued until 1948.

After the conclusion of World War II, the Soviet Union shared a lot of its technology

regarding weapons, including the Mosin-Nagant rifles and carbines with satellite countries,

which resulted in many different variations of the rifle.

CONHECIMENTO SECRETO DE JESUS ESCONDIDO DO MUNDO - Duration: 6:50.

Hi guys, how are you guys? Judas betrayed Jesus Christ with a kiss?

I believe you will say yes.

But if I said so. Judas betrayed him because Jesus asked.

You will probably be troubled or he will tell me. Ready, Wagner started inventing

things.

But no, it's not me who says, there is a document that deals with this.

But along the video we will have some answers.

Jesus was an incredible character, a model of conduct and its history goes from

in generation, however there are some facts that were not taken into account.

It's a very interesting but amazing subject. and so we should treat with maximum respect

and in a fair and impartial manner.

Prepares very well, because today we will play the trumpets of controversy.

The whole thing starts in the 1978 in the desert from Egypt when they discovered a manuscript

which they called the Tchacos Codex. The document was written in the Coptic language and contained

some texts, among them one that was called of the Gospel of Judas.

When it was discovered it caused great confusion, because it had a very different narrative

of everything we've learned about Judas Scariotes and Jesus Christ.

Now it will get interesting ..

Well, the Catholic Church presents Judas as an evil Jew who betrayed Jesus for 30 coins

of gold.

However, in this gospel, Judas is not the traitor, but Jesus' best friend.

..

On one occasion an occasion, the disciples they said to Jesus:

Master, because you laugh at our Prayers of Thanksgiving?

Jesus replied:

Because you do not do this on your own will, but because they believe they will please

goodbye. At this time the apostles were offended by the rebuke given by Jesus and began

to blaspheme against him in their hearts. The only one who would have understood the words of

Jesus would have been Judas Scariotes.

According to the manuscript Jesus called him in private and told him:

Keep away from others and I will tell you the mysteries of the Kingdom. You can understand them, that is,

(the disciples), but will suffer for it.

But after all ... What were these secrets and / or mysteries? Now it will get more interesting.

According to the manuscript Jesus speaks about a world superior, inhabited by the true God. a

good spirit that was never called any name and which gave rise to a lineage of angels

from where the creator of the earth came out.

He would be worshiped by the Jews and Old Testament, but would be an inferior God

which imprisons the spirit of man.

He also said that to save himself and find Good God would have to find the portion

Divine within to break free from this world.

Now things get serious:

In the end Jesus reveals that Judas will be superior to all men, because he will sacrifice man

who dresses me, that is, he will sacrifice Jesus.

Well, let's make it even more controversial.

According to the Manuscript, Judas's mission was Jesus to die, so the

master would be free of his body, that is, he would be free of the place that imprisoned his

divine spirit.

As Judas was the best and obedient, immediately sought the priests to denounce the leader

and as we know you identified with a kiss.

But there is something even more curious.

The Manuscript says that for the service, Judas earned some money, that is, does not speak

the amount, different from the speaking bible which Judas won in 30 gold coins.

But you see: There were 3 groups of supporters Of Jesus.

The listeners who were farther away and they followed Jesus, but they were sympathetic to his

preaching.

The 2nd, who were the disciples, who followed the master, listened to the speeches, did some

preached on his behalf but had no commitment with Jesus.

From this group he chose 12 men to whom called apostles which in Greek means

messenger, becoming the third group.

According to Dr. João de Araújo, Jesus and the apostles had a relationship

of deep respect and friendship, therefore, each of which had its definite role.

Well, according to the bible who administered it the money collected during preaching

it was Judas. That is, managing money suggests clearly, that he was someone of extreme trust

Of Jesus. However, this idea may not have existed and was added only for

reinforce Judas's love of money.

According to Gabriele Cornelli, a doctor in Sciences of Methodist University

official guidance provided by the was clear: Judas was the villain. And that's it.

According to him little is known about Judas because the Gospels had no commitment to

the story, were just texts to guide and pass on the teachings of Jesus.

And the funds raised were to cover the costs of travel, because Jesus was a

the itinerant leader, that is, he did not stopped.

Well, but let's raise the controversy further more:

According to the Gospel of Judas then the Secret knowledge of Jesus given to the supposed

better and not betrayal was that we should detach from the physical body and take care of the part

spiritual to get close to the Good God and not of the evil God of the Old Testament.

As are several versions and we know the controversy of the emergence of the bible as we know it,

more complex than this are the Manuscripts Nag Hammadi. This manuscript was found

in 1945 and are even more controversial, because for example the relationship between Jesus and the

Maria Madalena. Well, that's another thing.

In my opinion it is more than clear because some apocryphal gospels or some

texts did not enter the bible as We know it today.

Just imagine, life today, our life. If something like this was read inside a church?

What do you think would happen?

Thanks for watching this video, let your opinion in the comments, do not forget

o like Strong hug, see you later.

The Invention of Thanksgiving - Duration: 4:39.

[Interviewer:] Alright.

So, what is Thanksgiving?

[Paul Chaat Smith:] Thanksgiving is insane.

It's this huge, incredible disaster of highways and airports

and it's crowded, and the weather's awful.

A meal that takes days, sometimes weeks of preparation.

Emotional turmoil.

Fights.

But, the fact that it's a national holiday

that really envelops everyone,

it's this sense of the entire country in motion

in a way that isn't really like any other day in American life.

And the way it's corny,

it's cartoonish, and kitsch

is kind of a protective layer

to sort of not get too direct about it.

So underneath all those things

Thanksgiving is about trying to come to terms

with this very difficult truth about the United States.

That the country is a national project

that came about at great expense to Native people.

And, it's not enough that we're a good country.

We kind of have to be the best country, you know.

But Native people and African slavery,

those two things together

are huge challenges to how you process this.

So, eventually the country ended up deciding

you know what, we like the story

about that meal at Plymouth, a long, long time ago

in which these newly arrived people from England

in this new country

had their brunch in the forest, with Indians.

And what was that saying? That was saying, you know, we're neighborly.

We want this to work out.

And we know it didn't all work out.

But that's what we aspire to be.

That's sort of our best selves.

[Interviewer:] Did that meal actually happen?

[Paul Chaat Smith:] It happened, but nobody really cared.

It wasn't like oh, remember that time last November?

Let's have those folks over again.

Fire up the grill. Nobody thought that,

because it was just a thing that happened.

But the Pilgrim folks there, they were writing letters,

they were writing journals,

they were like really meticulously

detailing what was happening.

But, even that written account gets lost

for basically two hundred years,

and doesn't even emerge until the 1840s,

when this document is discovered again.

And even then it's not a big deal.

It's actually in a footnote.

And we remember that,

we rescue it from being a footnote

because that has meaning now.

And so by the early 20th century

Indians are an indivisible part

of what creates the United States.

It's not a chapter that happened and was bad

and we got over it.

We're in your head.

We're in your pantry.

We're in your garage.

This imagery, representations, advertising,

Thanksgiving says,

however imperfectly we remember Indians

we're remembering Indians.

And, with all the problems with it

it's still a powerful idea, and it's still powerful to not

Photoshop Indians out of the national narrative.

To say, "We're owning this."

And there's a way that can open up

ways to start thinking about it differently,

opens up for people to become activists,

and try to change things,

invent some new kind of Thanksgiving.

Let's have the discussion, let's see where that goes.

But before you get to the lessons

and is it right to use that?

Is it whatever?

I don't know.

I guess if I were to put myself in terms of, you know this,

a cartoon Indian and all this at Thanksgiving,

I'd probably be saying "I'm glad to be here."

Better than the alternative.

The Beauty Trend 'Glass Skin' and How to Get It - Duration: 3:38.

- Everyone out there, put away the contour sticks,

because the latest beauty trend is all about natural skin.

A beauty blogger's photo of her perfect skin is taking

over the internet, and set a new standard in beauty

as commenters are calling it glass skin.

One of the most important steps in achieving glass skin

is washing your face before bed, but the days of soap

and water, some say are long gone.

So today, we're going to tell you which cleansing trends

are worth the buzz, and which ones are a complete bust.

- So first up is powder cleanser.

So powders have been around.

They've been in makeup regimens for a very long time.

But this is kind of new twist, where sometimes, like taken

from some Japanese skincare regimens.

They have rice enzymes to brighten your skin.

But the idea is you take the powder, and you actually

will very gradually mix drops of water into it,

and you use it as an exfoliant.

And you can kind of tailor it to how foaming

or how thick you want to the degree of exfoliation,

and they're also getting a lot more pickup and interest

because they don't often have preservatives, or alcohol,

or other ingredients that people don't want.

- So this would be on my face theoretically, and you use

a little spritzer.

- Exactly.

So you can make it as diluted or as course as you want.

So it's just a natural cleanser and exfoliant.

So this one is definitely getting much more buzz.

(audience clapping)

- Buzz!

Bruski, what d'ya got going on?

- Micellar water.

Do you know what micellar water is, young man?

- Well, I know what micelles are, but I do not know

what micellar water is.

- Okay, micelles, that's right.

It's micelles.

It's balls of oil molecules that are suspended

in soft water.

How did this concept start?

Well, back in the day when plumbing wasn't quite

as good as it is now, the water came out very harsh.

It was not good on your face.

They discovered this in France, then they came up

with this idea, micellar water.

It's popular here now, but we don't really have the issue

of harsh water like we did years ago,

so is this really necessary?

- I'm not gonna drink that water.

I'll tell you that.

- It is the bust!

(audience groaning)

- Make sense.

You can save some money if you're gonna spend more money.

- [Dr. Stork] It sounds really fancy, though.

- It sounds fancy.

Like, oil suspended in water.

That's kind of an interesting idea.

- It is going to moisturize your skin at the same time,

and I guess they get the pH right, and it is soft water.

- So it's not gonna hurt ya.

- No, no.

It just may not be worth the cost.

- [Dr. Ordon] If she's taking that home,

I'm taking this home.

- So last, but not least, is something called face polish.

And so one thing, especially if you're going

for this poreless, really clear look is exfoliation

and dermatologists are sort of obsessed with this idea

that you're trying to slough those dry, dead skins.

You're trying to clean out the pores.

The only difference between a polish is that it's just

much finer grains than the old scrubs that tend

to be a little bit harsher.

- Some of them can feel almost abrasive when you're

putting them on. - [Dr. Batra] Exactly.

- So that would eliminate that.

- So this would be a much more gentle way.

Maybe two or three times a week, just to really

kind of help turn over the skin.

Another route if you don't want something physical like this

would be a chemical exfoliant.

Those are things like alpha hydroxy acids, like glycolic,

lactic.

Beta hydroxies or salicylic acid.

Those are all the chemical exfoliants that help

turn over your skin.

But we're finding that if you do that a couple times a week,

that really help expedite your cell turnover,

gives you a little bit more glow.

This one is definitely a buzz as well.
