Real Housewives Cast Members Who Completely Disappeared - Duration: 7:28.
Since the debut of the Real Housewives franchise, Bravo TV has introduced viewers to stars who've
provided countless hours of drama.
But sometimes the TV gods get things wrong, and they cast a housewife whose storylines
run flat.
So what happened to these forgotten housewives of yesteryear?
Jo De La Rosa
Jo De La Rosa was the housewife who technically wasn't even a housewife on the first season
of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
She was engaged to Slade Smiley, and fans watched as their relationship combusted week
after week, before they finally ended things in the next season.
"It's never about what I want."
"No, it's always about what you want.
Every single time it's about what you want."
Smiley later moved on and began dating a slew of fellow OC housewives, including Lauri Peterson
and Gretchen Rossi.
But what about De La Rosa?
She pulled a disappearing act and poofed into thin air!
She moved to New York for a brief period of time, before moving to Los Angeles to work
as a national accounts director for Empire Digital.
Bravo also reported the fashionable and super-chic former reality star was in the process of
launching a beauty and lifestyle website back in 2016, but it has yet to appear.
Even though De La Rosa has long kissed the show goodbye and has managed to fly under
the radar, we were flooded with a huge dose of Housewives nostalgia when she joined her
former co-stars Vicki Gunvalson and Jeana Keough for a ten-year reunion celebration
in 2016.
Alex McCord
Alex McCord and her wacky and eccentric husband, Simon van Kempen, ruffled more than a few
feathers during her time as an OG cast member of the New York series.
McCord, her hubby, and their two sons, Johan and Francois, were in love with Brooklyn long
before it transitioned into a gentrified, hippy haven.
Her most infamous line on the show came during a season 3 spat with her former co-star Jill
Zarin.
"You are in high school.
You are a mean girl, and you are in high school.
And while you are in high school, I am in Brooklyn, trying to survive in this economy.
Working."
Oh, how we miss this Brooklyn gal!
The McCord-van Kempen family actually didn't remain in their fixer-upper Brooklyn abode,
choosing to move to van Kempen's native Australia instead.
In 2014 she told Bravo,
"Our children have never had the opportunity to live within walking distance of grandparents
and cousins.
[...] It's the perfect time for the extended family to enjoy each other."
During a 2018 interview with Sunrise, McCord said she was glad she was no longer a part
of the show, saying,
"All the women who stayed on the show have lost their marriages and their family.
Why would you ever give up your children and your husband for crazy women?"
Kelly Killoren Bensimon
Kelly Killoren Bensimon had a breakdown of catastrophic proportions during the New York
City cast's trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2010, during which she called Alex McCord
a "vampire" and said that fellow housewife Bethenny Frankel was going to harm her.
"Like, you're absolutely crazy."
"OK, I'm crazy."
Yikes.
Bravo TV didn't think Bensimon was built for all the stress and drama that went along with
being on a reality series, as they decided that the fourth season would mark her last
appearance on the series.
Following her epic meltdown, the writer, former model, and mother of two settled back into
her everyday life in the Big Apple.
Without cameras following her every move, she managed to crank out some books, including
I Can Make You Hot!: The Supermodel Diet, in 2012.
Aside from launching a jewelry line through the Home Shopping Network in May 2016 and
teaming up with designer Rachel Miriam for a handbag collection in 2018, Bensimon has
spent her time away from the limelight selling real estate.
The New York Post revealed that one of her first listings was her own home - a chic fourth-floor
unit that was expected to be listed for around $10 million.
Go, Kelly!
Quinn Fry
Quinn Fry first appeared on season 3 of The Real Housewives of Orange County as the fun,
vivacious, and perpetually single cast member.
After making her last appearance on the show, she dove right back into her life as a devoted
mother and grandmother of four.
She has also moved around the Golden State to test out life in other cities, including
a 2013 move to Mission Viejo with some help from her friend and former castmate Jeana
Keough - who used her real estate expertise to help Fry snag a condo.
By the time 2014 rolled around, Fry told Yahoo! that dating as a 40-something woman in the
OC was a hard task, and she blamed it all on her male counterparts, whom she described
as "serial daters."
"He drives me crazy.
I love being with him."
Perhaps her bad luck in Southern California was the reason she decided to pack up again
in 2018 and haul it up north - way north - to the city of Eureka, according to an August
2018 Instagram post.
She revealed she was in the process of buying an "adorable home" and was looking forward
to, quote, "fantastic things ahead."
DeShawn Snow
The cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has changed a lot throughout the years, and
that's why many people hardly remember DeShawn Snow from the first season.
She was the wife to former professional basketball player Eric Snow and the mother of three boys.
She rarely got involved in the other cast members' catfights, preferring to spend her
time building her charitable organizations and giving back to those in need.
Naturally, sans drama, she wasn't exactly a good fit for the show.
After getting the boot after just one season, Snow slipped out of the public eye, only to
make headlines when her then-husband filed for divorce in 2010.
Closing the chapter on that devastating moment of her life wasn't easy, but she told AttaGirl
in 2012,
"I'm excited to make things happen.
I'm definitely moving forward, I'm growing through this.
Since I've been on the show, I've been doing a lot of reflecting, a lot of writing, a lot
of healing."
She went on to become a children's book author, and she lost 30 pounds while being away from
the spotlight.
Doesn't she look fabulous?
Aviva Drescher
How could we forget Aviva Drescher?
"The only thing that is artificial or fake about me is…"
She later told the Huffington Post that the infamous leg toss was her desperate attempt
to appease producers and secure her spot on the seventh season of The Real Housewives
of New York City.
Sadly, no amount of thrown appendages could have helped her earn her keep, and she was
given her pink slip.
After her time on TV came to an end, the mom of three told Town & Country she was working
on a lifestyle blog and was also in the process of penning her second book.
As if her schedule wasn't jam-packed enough, she was also dedicating her time to helping
others who had lost limbs.
She told the magazine,
"I do a lot of one-on-one visits with new amputees, mostly women and children, by visiting
them in the hospital and helping them adjust to wearing a prosthesis."
She wasn't totally opposed to making a grand return to reality TV either.
In March 2018, she told Page Six,
"If they needed somebody and I worked in the mix, I would go back."
As of this writing, RHONY hasn't found a way to work her into the show, but you never know
what the future may hold.

Dina Manzo
Dina Manzo was a fan favorite and one of the original cast members on The Real Housewives
of New Jersey.
"The girl's freakin' obsessed with me.
I swear.
I don't know if she wants to be me or skin me and wear me like last year's Versace."
The zen-loving, hairless cat owner and mother of one divorced her ex-husband, Tommy Manzo,
in 2015, and was embroiled in a bunch of family drama with her sister and former castmate,
Caroline Manzo.
Despite Caroline having famously described their family as being quote, "thick as thieves"
during the season 1 finale, Dina told SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live in August 2018 that she and
Caroline hadn't "spoken in two years".
Not only was her relationship with her big sister broken, but Dina also severed ties
with the state of New Jersey after she and her beau, David Cantin, were bound and beaten
during a home invasion robbery at their townhouse.
They headed out west and put down roots in Newport Beach, California.
During her interview with Jeff Lewis Live, Dina discussed her new relationship with Cantin,
telling Jeff,
"[We] got engaged once, early in our relationship, and then we both realized it was way too early.
And then we got engaged again last year."
Don't expect to a made-for-TV wedding special to air, though.
This is one former reality star who values her privacy and is enjoying her time far away
from the spotlight.

morning I have gotten dressed already I'm really willing it to be
winter yeah I'm willing it to be winter because when it becomes a winter I'm
going to Disneyland actually I'm going in November I don't know if that's
technically winter or not but it is October and it's actually kind of hot
out I don't know how out there today it is
like 70 degrees today or almost 70 degrees today and first most people that
would be late cuz that are hot but last week it was over 100 so 70 is a great
improvement for around here my face looks so bad right now like I
picked my like I didn't pick my nose but I picked the skin by my nose and then
like there's the spot that I picked the other day and down here I was picking
again basically I've just been picking my skin hella bleeds all the time but
update on the handful Istres see the red spot in the middle my hand that is the
only blister knock on wood I don't know Oh up here that has popped because I was
very careful this morning when waking up and I did not rub my hands actually I
rubbed my hands together once and then I felt the pain of my skin like slipping
around and I didn't and I quit rubbing them okay so there's a little bit of a
blister on my knuckle but that's okay I don't think I have plans to do anything
last night when we went to drop off bread I was at Graham's house and we're
playing with buddy and he is chewing on my sweatshirt and everything Julie so do
you have energy to go to the movies again this weekend I was like nah
so cuz I was supposed to well she wanted to go again this week but I have PDE
tomorrow and another doctor's appointment tomorrow night and then I
have that noscope on Friday in Walnut Creek so that's like three hours away or
something anyway and I'm not looking forward to my
doctor's appointment tomorrow I guess I wear like really heavy clothes but
they're gonna catch on to me if I do that but my weight has dropped not too
much lately like maybe about a pound which is not good since I was this
beginning weight but it has happened and I already know why it's because I eat
vegetables that I had the Grandal idea why ate some vegetables and be like a
real person but for me vegetables make my innards bleed and then they make my
innards not happy and so then my innards are like and when today just all your
food so yes and then last night I don't know why I don't just walk during these
times these and I were talking about my lack of social skills because she is a
kid in her class he's kind of like me but like more and she was yelled up by
another teacher and he just started laughing about it and the other teachers
weren't really mad and I was like same man same cuz sometimes I understand why
people are yelling and then I react the way like a normal person would react
like crying or yelling back or whatever but most the time I don't understand why
people are yelling like when I was just doing gymnastics and everything like
coaches would yell and I would be like and I would just start laughing and like
everybody would get really mad about it but it's not like I was trying to make
the mad I was just laughing cuz I didn't understand and how are you sister react
laughs I don't know I still really don't know how your sister react to that
situation like are you so just stand there and
because then I was after a while when I realized laughing wasn't the right way
to react so then I would just stare at them and that would make them even more
mad because then there was no reaction so what are you activists to do if you
can't talk back that's being rude well anyways I need to like get my day
started other than the fact that I got dressed I probably should edit some
videos and like charge the GoPro and everything there's no like I'm gonna go
swimming or anything well I'll be I don't know but see you later
I'm outside now I've decided to paint my nails
it's October so I figure oh my gosh my head's not even right that this orange
looks fine for my favorite color is orange so I used to paint my nails with
this all the time my mom was always like Ellen that looks so hideous yes that's
what her voice sounds like no it's not and then this Froy toes it looks black
but it's not it is like is that called metallic whoa your Dyson I don't know
I'm painting them outside but I figured Wow and this could go horribly wrong
because I can't really grip things all all right now bye
you know you gotta do what you gotta do I haven't painted my nails for almost a
year now I know surprise but
I talk about this a lot on my Instagram and stuff but I haven't really said
anything about it in the vlog but I haven't been sleeping very well lately
like if I stop there that statement is like well die your teenager like
teenagers don't sleep but when I I can't lay flat on my back because I can't
breathe when I do that and then we're pretty sure my body's forgetting to
breathe in my sleep which is terrible because if you don't breathe you're not
gonna live for very long but yes oh my gosh this is terrible
right poor toenails look already look awful so like a few nights ago I guess
that was two nights ago now I went to bed and I I propped myself up so that I
didn't I don't fall onto my back when I'm sleeping and when I I woke up at
like 4 o'clock in the morning gasping for air because I had slipped down onto
backs I didn't prompt myself up very well that night and my body was freezing
cold like to the touch and it was just terrible so that's what's been happening
with my sleep that's why I'm well that's not all the reason why I'm so tired but
part of it so we're when we need to get in to see that doctor about the
autonomic nervous system doctor because hopefully cuz your autonomic nervous
system is what can is what like controls your breathing or whatever when you're
sleeping and well it controls your breathing when you're awake too but you
can kind of s consciously breathe when you're awake and so yes we're gonna deal
with that everybody's like you need to get a sleep study done I don't want to
get a sleep study done because you have to get all these things
hooked up to you for you to fall asleep and I don't sleep well with things
attached to me and I thought it would be nicer to paint my nails in the Sun but
I'm like I'm starting to sweat so we're gonna move yeah basically right now the
only way that we're dealing with my sleeping problems or my breathing
problems in my sleep is just with my positioning when I'm asleep but that's
not really a good way to go about it because obviously it's not foolproof and
I flipped onto my back a couple days ago this is another people were saying how I
should let's see like I should I should be on oxygen and I'm sleeping well
that's not gonna help because well it would help if I'm not oxygenating well
when I'm asleep but it's not gonna help because I'm not
oxygenating because I'm just not breathing at least that's what we think
is happening I really don't wanna I die I normally never talk about the fact
that I get like cold and don't breathe in my sleep sometimes because I really
just don't want to have to deal with yet another thing so like the doors are
opening ghosts but my
while back because it's but I hadn't really noticed it for about a six months
or something but my mom had come in to wake me up and I was cold and not
breathing and not responding to her and so she would like shake me and stuff and
then I would start better I would like and wake up but she's like Ellen don't
die on me and you're sleeping I'm like I'm sorry but yeah so we need to deal
with my not breathing in my sleep thing I really just don't want to so I just
want to talk about that at my appointment tomorrow and I weighed
myself - whoa bug really big bug I weighed myself today I think I already
said that miss lug I don't know I just repeat myself a lot and I ramble on and
on but I pretty much like nobody's really home during the day and most the
time I'm too tired to drive anywhere and I so I just talk to y'all instead of
like talking to people my nails are done but they look pretty
hideous like this is I can't really grip things if they just look terrible but
that's okay my toenails look fabulous though because I can do two hands to do
them and it allows us to show you them but tada my teeny tiny feet I don't know
what time it is it's like twelve something so I'm gonna go inside and I
ever I just want to take a nap I'm just really tired all the time so bye not
much happened but I did remember that last night we were talking about my IVIG
situation again and I'm watching TV in my bed but so for the IVIG situation it
is not happening any faster than it was before so my mom is going to call my
doctor because she has his phone number because that's the one good
thing about her working at her school is that pretty much all of our local
doctors she has been the key oh I made my chin late again oops she has had
their children as her students and so she gets their phone numbers and they're
like call if you need anything she's like okay so she's gonna call him today
and see like where we are in this process but if things don't get moving
any faster where we might just decide to just make the drive to San Francisco if
it in the next few weeks like if things don't get moving but um and then my dad
was like y'all realize how often you'd have to drive over there so would be
every two weeks for now and then once a month for the rest of my life for the
rest of eternity and that we wouldn't necessarily have to drive over there for
the rest of eternity because they do have a UCSF Lake satellite thing in or
affiliation hospital in downtown and Fresno but um yeah and it doesn't
necessarily mean that it is going to we would have to stay in these system
system because we could eventually get transferred probably I don't know but
like we couldn't get the started sooner rather than later because I'm not doing
anything right now like I'm me and y'all we just hang out all day but if we get
this going we'd like to do it before I start online school or something because
then I actually have things that I need to get done in the day and
my head is killing me right now I kind of just slip there's something stabbing
me in the back of the head I don't know why I massage in the front of my head
cuz I somebody more hurts that's just causing more pain in the front of my
head like I'm gonna cause a bruise but yes and my dad is like really irritated
with those people at the local place because the girl who deals with
insurance like never calls him back and
my chin is continuously playing snail there's blood all over my sleeves lovely
um I don't think I have anything else like I'm just tired okay
just oh gosh probably look like um that snapchat filter when I go like this oh
you wanna see something okay so I we didn't know realize this but I did I
wasn't able to like move my eyebrows up before cuz I was like this I feel like
what are you doing the snapchat filters where it says to raise your eyebrows but
ready she's a lot of focus I didn't do it and that's like we never realized
that I didn't know how to do that but nope oh I didn't activate it in the I'm
so in the past like I guess it was two years ago and my headache started that's
all I realized that I couldn't do that and so then now that I pretty much just
me myself and I and y'all hang out all the time I took it upon myself to learn
how to do that oh yeah so anyway it is like two o'clock and I want candy but I
shouldn't eat candy cuz candy is bad for your innards and my innards aren't very
happy right now anyway so we probably shouldn't do that
and I'm sweating so I'm gonna put on a t-shirt and turn on the fan probably
have a fever again but you know life is unfair and all that stuff so me
it's nighttime again I always forget like I found my
everything in the morning before pretty much before like 1 o'clock or 2 o'clock
or something and then I fell them another clip like 8 exactly it's 8
o'clock right now let's see yeah it's exactly 8 I have a good mental clock but
there's afternoon I got like a real confused and I couldn't remember my name
where I was and I was sitting right there and through today but that has
nothing to deal with right now but it's supposed to be an ear but it's a foot
all right looks like a foot but it supposed to be in here but today was
it's mental World Mental Health Day or something like that and I think that's
what it was called and um I keep losing my train of thought today it's like if I
don't just word splatter it all out there I'll forget and well I can't
remember why I came in here either but she's watching me right well anyways

A Brief Overview of Personal Insurance - Duration: 7:25.
Today I'm gonna cover off something we hear quite a lot and that is "but I'm young, I
don't need insurance" and I get it, you know, we're young we feel invincible we think that
nothing is ever going to happen to us but I'm going to share a story to you, with you
today that's pretty close to my heart and it's the reason that I got into advising.
So I'll cover that off what I'll also talk to you about is the type of insurance that's
available out there, the different ownership and payment structures that is available and
why it's important that you you take out insurance to keep you in line with your goals and to
be sure that you can achieve those goals even if something does happen to you.
So the reason I got into advising is that in 2011 I was overseas with my now wife and
we were cycling around France and one, one afternoon I was descending a mountain and
I was hit by a car and that, that's a big thing to to go through.
So I was 24, I won't go into the gory details but I was in a coma for about three weeks.
I was in a hospital in France for about six weeks before I could come back to Australia.
It was a tough time for all involved, you know, it took me out of the workforce for
basically a year, it was six months of full-on rehab and without the support of my wife and
my family, life wouldn't be as, as peachy as it is today.
At the time I had no idea what income protection was, could could it have helped?
Absolutely.
But this is the thing that you learn through life.
I learn by doing and looking back now some income protection would have been great but
but so be it.
So that, the reason I got into advising was I want everybody to live the best life that
they can and insurance is, is part of that.
So some people might have a bit of life and TPD insurance as part of their, their superannuation
account, is it enough?
Generally speaking if you've got a mortgage, no it's probably not.
Everybody has different insurance needs based on you know do they have a wife?
Do they have kids?
Do they have you know, school fees that are going to come up?
Does they have a large mortgage to pay?
So, so everybody's needs are different.
Let me quickly talk to you about the different types of insurance that there is out there.
The know, well they are life, total and permanent disability, trauma insurance and income protection.
So life is in the event that you pass away and there will be a payout to your remaining
spouse or your estate so that can cover things like paying off your mortgage, if you were
to pass away would you like your husband or your wife to live in your home and not have
to worry about paying for the mortgage?
They can you know, dealing with with the unfortunate event it'd be great to not leave
them with a financial burden as to having to pay the mortgage.
Things that also need to be considered is, do you
have kids, what sort of school do you want to send them to?
You know private school is getting quite expensive these days so you can factor in an amount
for that.
Total and permanent disability, disability or TPD is basically if you can never work
again.
So that could cover things such as you know if you were made a quadriplegic.
So it's a lump sum payout that can can be used towards things like home modifications,
movement aids such as a wheelchair, medical expenses, things like that.
Trauma is if you suffer a major illness so cancer, stroke, heart attack, those sort of
things.
Again it's a lump sum payout that can be used for medical expenses and that sort of thing.
The final one is income protection and and this is something that I firmly believe that
every Australian should have.
Insurers will cover up to 75 percent of your income in the event that you can't work.
There is different waiting periods and different benefit periods but essentially if you can't
go to work, they'll, they'll pay you some money.
Seventy-five percent.
So once you get into the nitty-gritty of, of the different types of insurance, there's
things like agreed value income protection or indemnity income protection.
There's own occupation TPD, any occupation TPD and different payment structures and different
ownership structures.
So you can own some things through your superannuation fund and your superannuation fund can fund
with the premiums and some things you would pay for personally and I guess this is where
we can add value is that we can look at your situation and determine what is the best structure,
what is competitively priced, what's going to suit your needs best?
Initially insurance is a little bit of upfront work.
You'll probably have to go through some underwriting maybe some medical tests and blood tests and
that sort of thing but at the end of the day once it is in place, it's locked in and you
don't have to worry again so if in the event that you need to make a claim, it's already
been underwritten and there should be no problems with a payout so we can help you through that
process.
Now when we think back to what we do here at Wealth Enhancers we're out there trying
to help you guys achieve your goals and if something happens, you can't go to work, the
cash flow stops, that is what's going to inhibit you from trying to achieve those goals.
Insurance is the piece of the puzzle that keeps you tracking towards achieving your

I don't speak Spanish. I have never learnt Spanish
Only German at School and College for 7 years approximately
For me, Spanish is extremely fast, very fast, especially in Colombia and Cuba
But in Mexico, I understand Spanish better
I have been in Mexico City for 4 months approximately
Oh my god, But my Spanish is getting better
yes, 4 months, fantastic
My favourite places in Mexico are Mexico City, obviously, also Puebla, Atlixco &Tlaquepaque
I really like magic towns, understand?
because they are very colorful, they are very beautiful, lots of architecture, lots of history
fantastic, lots of beautiful
my final point is food in mexico, oh my god
food in mexico is very delicious, fantastic, amazing
I can not live without Mexican Food!
My favourte foods are Mole Poblano in Puebla, Cemitas in Atlixco, Salbutes & Panuchos in Merida, Yucatan

talk English this will be a lot easier for me and a lot simpler I
apologize for any to any Spanish speakers out there because I know that
was awful but it was an attempt I'm trying my best okay so I hope you
appreciate that and the main reason I've done this video I'd have a bit of fun
but also to highlight just how important learning a language is when you come to
another country it doesn't have to be you know fluent Spanish as long as you
can learn the basics that will really help you and there is a fantastic way in

effort with the language learning a language in another country when you
travel is so important because it makes you feel welcomed it makes you feel
comfortable it makes you feel like a local especially as you know I'm living
in an area of Mexico City that is you know it's not particularly a tourist
area so every day I'm speaking Spanish some days I don't speak English until
maybe four o'clock in the afternoon when I do an English lesson perhaps so I just
wanted to wanted you to keep that in mind from this video that it makes your
life so much easier it makes your travel experience so much easier and you know
what I actually enjoy speaking Spanish with people even though I my Spanish is
diabolical but you know it improves my experience when I'm in another country
particularly when I'm here for a long time so just keep that in mind I don't
know what happened to my voice there but never mind so thanks for watching

hi friends welcome back to my channel in today's video I'm going to be reviewing
the new NARS hot tryst cheek palette and oh my god you guys look how
beautiful this packaging is let's just take a moment let's take a moment to
appreciate the packaging so that being said we're going to try it on today I'm
going to let you know my thoughts is it worth it is it not worth it but before
we get started in this video please don't forget to subscribe down below I
post new videos every single week and let's go so this is what the box looks
like it is very editorial very very NARS nurse has always had that
fashion streak to their whole makeup line it is definitely very elevated high
fashion s and when you open it it is editorial it is fashion it is not this
palette looks just like a diamonds a very rare exotic diamonds I am living
for this packaging if I were anybody else I would buy this solely on the
packaging and this palette is something I would want on my vanity simply because
it is amazing and beautiful and it looks just like a very rare Rock and also the
packaging feels very sturdy like it does not feel cheap whatsoever it's actually
it gives me the opposite effect I feel like this looks and feels very
luxurious the packaging of this palette was extremely well thought out so I
personally want to raise a glass to the NARS creative director because not just
anybody can come up with such a stunning absolutely stunning packaging oh I got
it so when you open it you get these beautiful blushes and as you can see
here we still have that same theme on the blushes as we did on the outside of
the palette so to me this looks like a very very complete blush highlight
palette you have your peachy you have your blush for the very fair skin tone
person you have a reddish pink you have a really pretty Shemp
illuminizer and you have this bronzy blush on here as well so you pretty much
have just about every single lush color you can think of in this palette I think
the color that automatically screams my name I think it's going to be this one
right up here what is this called it is called untamed and it gives me orgasm
blush and vibes so that felt really really creamy and when we swatch it it
is also creamy this formula is so awesome blushes are very infamous for
being chalky and when you find a formula that is super super creamy like that's
when you know it's a good palette when it feels really nice and creamy just
like this so first impressions immediately I love this formula it's
watched super super easily on my hands the color assortment is a 1 definitely a
double plus on the colors I feel like people with different skin tones would
totally be able to pick up this palette and use all these colors on their face
whether they make it into an eyeshadow or a bronzer or anything like that you
can get very creative with this palette and this is a close up of the palette as
you can see all of these colors have some iridescent to them so these are not
matte blushes but they're going to be radiant blushes which are always super
super beautiful and I also want to say that the mirror in this is fairly large
and it feels like like it's a really good mirror like it's not one of those
cheap plastic mirrors it comes with a good size high quality mirror in the
palette as well alright so let's try some of these colors on I'm going to use
my Sigma f10 blush brush and I am going to use that to pick up some of this
color right here which is called adrenaline alright so that did not work
real hair brushes are not the most ideal to pick up this formula here I feel like
because it's a little bit more creamy it's going to go on a lot better with a
synthetic brush so that being said I'm going to use my
techniques contour brush and I'm going to dip it into that same color pick up
some of that oh yeah that's already working so much better than it was on
the other brush this guy is real hair so this first didn't pick up as much
product while the synthetic brush here is already picking up so much more
product like try to contour with it a little bit that's so pretty
it's very effortless you can just bring it up into my temple and I am using the
same color here untamed and the reason why I like to bring it up until my
temple is because I like my blush to look like a natural flushed effect as
opposed to just it being like a line so we're going to go with an editorial vibe
so I'm going to bring the blush all the way up to my forehead here so it's like
an even transition going all the way around but would you look at that that
is so pretty that is even pigmentation right there with very minimal efforts I
pretty much just let the brush do the work other side I would to focus on
placing my product first and then I can just kind of blend it upwards what do
you guys think I think this looks phenomenal
I like how easy this blush went on the formula as you saw was very very easy to
blend into my foundation and another really cool thing is that I felt like I
didn't have to use a lot of product really I went in with the minimal amount
of product and this was our finished result I mean would you look at that
alright so next up I am going to pick up this color right here which is this
really pretty soft pink right here it is called swindle I'm going to use that at
the very high points of my cheeks so it'll be more of an accent
next up I'm going to pick up some of friction using my Real Techniques fan
brush and friction is this really pretty champagne colored highlight and my plan
is to use friction and then I'm going to use the lighter highlighter on top of
friction and I feel like the fan brush is not doing the best job at picking up
this highlighting powder but let's go ahead and give it another try
no yeah it definitely did pick it up so let's go ahead oh damn girl Wow check
that out I am so impressed like I didn't feel like I had a lot of a product in my
brush but it's it surprised me let's just say that definitely surprised me so
far I like that the highlight it's not super duper like brown or very gold
champagne II as you see here on the palette it looks like oh that might be a
little bit too dark for me but in reality I feel like I could even apply
this color on somebody who was a little bit more fair skin tone even a fair skin
tone person would be able to use friction as a highlight I fully believe
that in my heart maybe not for like the super super fair
of people but friction would be a great highlight for tan people
fair skin tone people for women of color everybody oh my god I'm just so pleased
and excited with this palette thus far I mean we did have to make it work with
DES instead of brushes like if you're somebody that only owns real hair
brushes then you might have to invest in some synthetic brushes like these are
real technique brushes and they're working phenomenally with the formula of
these blushes and highlights so this is what the complexion looks like so far I
have a lot of blush on I looked very blush and highlighted I especially adore
the highlight considering that I was really anticipating for the highlight to
be a little bit darker than what it was but it really wasn't it was
a pleasant surprise out of all three powders that I've tried so far friction
really really impressed me next up to finish my highlight I'm going
to use Kings Road which is the lighter highlight in the palette and I'm going
to pick it up using my fan brush here one more time and I'm going to focus
that mostly on the very high points of my cheeks right here same thing the
other side at the very center of the chin and then under no is because we
want to look like ten men you know what I want to highlight the inner corners of
my eyes so I'm going to take my 11s Inglot brush and I am going to spray it
or maybe I don't want this for you I'm going to go in with just a brush no
spray and I'm going to dip into friction right here so this is what the inner
corners look like I think I want to make them a little bit more vibrant so I'm
going to go into kingsroad pick some of that up right here oh yeah that's really
giving me the pigmentation and intensity that I like I love this I feel like the
inner corners really brought the whole eye look together I mean I already did
really like the eye look that I ended up with but I feel like the inner corners
brought the whole thing all the way around you know what I mean it was kind
of like the cherry on the top you could say alright
so in conclusion is it worth it to get the new NARS
hot tryst cheek palette my answer to that is absolutely and this is a cheek
palette that deserves to be on all of your best friends
and Families Christmas list because let me tell you the formula is amazing it is
popping and by that I mean that the pigmentation is there the creaminess is
there that intensity the boldness it's everything you could ever want from a
cheek palette and I love that these formulas are super vibrant and bold and
what's crazy to me is that I really didn't have to put a lot of effort into
the whole blending I feel like the formula did the work for me all I had to
do is get the placement with my brush right and the formula pretty much did
the rest of the work and that's when you know you have a good formula it's when
you don't have to work so hard to get it right the first time but nonetheless
this cheap palette is so beautiful and I'm so very happy that I was able to get
my hands on it before it's sold out because I know for a fact this cheap
palette is going to sell out everybody deserves this this holiday season and I
mean everybody deserves this palette this holiday season and that does it for
