Alternative for Germany - (vpro backlight documentary - 2016) - Duration: 46:56.

We don't want our children living under Sharia law...

...or having to wear burkas. We just can't have that.

I'm against Islam being used...

...to change our German culture here in our country.

We don't want to become the party...

...that forms a small opposition in parliament, like a junior partner.

We want to have the majority.

I regard the democracy as it functions in Germany today...

...as an utterly failed form of government.

Deport! Deport!

The many resistance networks in Germany and the AfD...

...are all part of a great movement...

...to protect our identity, our wealth and our freedom.

A symbol from '89. We have a few minutes.

Do you mean you had already joined in 1989?

And that you... I don't want to be filmed.

In '89 I walked in the famous demonstration in Leipzig.

This newspaper always ended up in the wastepaper bin.

But I kept it.

It has some well-known phrases in it.

The demonstrators... I'll show you.

...are 'routed'. That's what you hear again today.

FREEDOM IS the right to say what others don't want to hear

It struck us that many people are afraid to speak.

It's the same in my family. - You're right.

I can't say where they work, but they told me clearly:

'At work we were told not to join Pegida...

...or there will be consequences.'

I'm out here for my children and grandchildren.

I have no other option.

We grew up in a dictatorship. We know what happened at the workplace.

You had to be careful.

Many of us say: We'd never have thought...

...that this would happen to us again. That we have to go again.

You asked why there are so many pensioners.

That only confirms it. Young people are scared to lose their jobs.

They must make a living.

That's why we pensioners are out here. They can't hurt us anymore.

We can't lose our jobs anymore.

We don't want our children living under Sharia law...

...or having to wear burkas.

When politicians say: 'Germany, piss off' or 'Germany, never again'...

...it makes me sad that German politicians...

...give preference to foreigners over their own people.

We just can't have that.

I tell you: AfD is our hope.

I used to be a classical social democrat, like my parents.

But I noticed that nothing got done.

I thought: That's no good.

AfD began as a hype. People were all fired up.

Today the party has a radical right-wing image.

It's said to despise people. That's bad.

I'm not sure I'd do it again, but...

When I stood for office, for the Dresden council...

...my boss rewarded me by giving me the sack.

That's how it was. I have a new job now.

Being city councillor is a job.

I'm not complaining. It's good.

You said: If I had to decide again, I wouldn't work for AfD.

No, I didn't express myself correctly.

I wouldn't become a member of AfD again.

Isn't that the same thing? - Not quite.

AfD is having its reputation blackened. We don't know what will happen next.

So you support the party objectives? - I have no problem with that.

But you don't like it being blackened.

No. Nobody likes to be called names.

Nobody. - Do they call you names?

Yes, to my face and also indirectly.

When I give a speech, or I tell the mayor I'd like to say something...

...someone from another faction says: The Nazis take the floor again.

all the power comes from the people

Hello, take a seat.

Our institutions no longer reflect what people really think.

They do what they want so much...

...that folks like me begin to vote for AfD.

They always pretend these are stupid people who are deprived.

But I make plenty of money.

I went to college. I have everything I need.

Can I help you? - I'd like the programme.

Do you have it? - Our current party programme?

I don't like that. - Sorry, we're from Dutch television.

Makes no difference. - Our election programme.

It's up to date.

Do you have a license to film here?

I'd like to see it. I'm the owner. I got no requests.

Such people... - One moment.

You're not allowed to film the building. If you have a license I'll believe you.

You didn't apply for a license. You're making a propaganda film here.

Explain it to me.

Continue?

Now she sees how we're always approached in a negative way.

Now they're tarring her with the same brush.

We're always having to deal with that.

So what happens now? - When in doubt, they call the police.

When in doubt, yes.

You can see the polarisation in this country.

You know at once what kind of person he is, the way he behaves.

People are all so aggressive to one another.

Both sides should think about what they're doing.

So it won't come to physical violence.

It's really the left against the right.

Everyone thinks their truth is the only truth.

That way you get lots of people who stop at nothing.

Germany is a country that receives refugees kindly.

And I must say I'm proud of that.

I refuse to play who can be the most unwelcoming so they won't come.

Fear of attacks. Does the threat of terrorism keep you indoors?

The unlimited and uncontrolled migration created dangers.

I'd rather not have a ghetto like Molenbeek in my town.

The first refugees arrived on August 4.

A huge removal van drew up at 11 in the morning.

Two apartments in our building were filled with furniture.

Two beds, two wardrobes, two tables...

...all the basics for a home.

And a small kitchen unit.

A few days later we were having lunch when the door suddenly opened.

Two men came in. Strangers.

They said: We'd like to see the empty apartments.

We're moving some refugees in.

We thought: How is this possible?

We had always chosen new residents ourselves for years.

And now strangers were moving in.

We're a commune, a kind of family. You can't put strangers in.

We were stupefied.

It's your answer to the Word of the Lord.

And then the sixth secret:

That Jesus Christ was received in God's glory...

We were in shock. We said:

How can we possibly have 20 young men walking around here?

I thought: My wardrobe is in the hallway. Things will go missing.

I moved all my things into my room.

It was really shocking that our landlord treated us like that.

Our contacts, through Mr Adler, had been fine for years.

And suddenly they throw this at us.

We were horrified. - I can imagine.

Brigitte and I went to look at the furniture that was brought in.

Brigitte burst into tears and said:

I raised five children and no one ever gave me a new bed for free.

That is strange. - Very odd.

You took your clothes out of the hallway? Thinking: Oh, dear...

I thought: We won't be safe here anymore...

...with strangers coming and going, taking up our kitchen and living room.

We had no idea who these people were.

I tried to get in touch with the landlord three times that day.

But I couldn't get anyone on the phone.

Then the person who's responsible for our house...

...phoned me early the next morning.

I put my complaints to her.

Then she said: Yes, Mr Adler...

...you're having refugees in your house. I don't know who.

And I don't know when.

But it will only enrich your commune.

Merkel must go. Merkel must go.

I walked in the demo twice, to see what it was like.

Once in December, when it started. There were lots of people then.

I found the atmosphere to be very serious and very...

There was a lot of anger and disappointment.

What was your conclusion?

That you should take these people seriously.

And not try to marginalise them.

Find a way to have a conversation with them...

...to see where they are right or wrong.

Don't enhance their fears by not taking them seriously.

It's important to draw the right people in...

...and to acknowledge that not everything on their minds is bad.

The AfD had a party conference.

The antifascists hacked the AfD internet site...

...and put the participants' addresses online.

Home address and mobile number.

And some idiots even added:

'Once these are out of the way, we'll have peace.'

But on Facebook...

I have a lot of Facebook friends. They're decent people.

They criticised Merkel and were then removed from Facebook.

Anything can get you removed.

But nobody cared about that antifascist action.

I hate such actions anyway.

Should it be prohibited? What's your solution?

I hope we realise that if this doesn't stop...

...there will be a serious risk of civil war here too.

My children are such angels.

I'm just afraid...

I've had it good all my life. Peace, safety and prosperity.

I want that for my children too. I don't want them being forced to flee.

When you surf the net and see what people say...

...it's tempting to just ignore it completely.

As a consequence, it has become smaller and more radicalised.

This is an era of polarisation.

There are major differences of opinion among relatives and friends.

It's ruining friendships. That's new.

People who are not opinion makers shake their heads.

They give up, and everything comes together.

It often starts with criticism and irritation.

And then something happens that catalyses it, like fuel to the flames.

Things that smouldered quietly suddenly turn into a blaze.

It sounds like the genie is out of the bottle.

I'm actually shocked...

...by the opinions and discussions you hear these days.

I never thought it would come to this.

Two years ago I'd have said: The country will be calm, like it is now.

But at the moment there are radical developments...

...that I never expected.

And I'm worried about the future. Because I have children too.

I don't read newspapers because I don't trust them.

I don't believe them.

That's why I don't read any papers.

Which words to use for that...

I don't want to use any words that might hurt people's feelings.

But I don't read or trust the newspapers.

Do you think many other Germans feel that way?

The number of subscriptions is going down.

Either people are going off paper...

...or they feel the same way I do. I don't know.

I can't really judge, and I don't want to.

You hear it anyway, what the papers say.

People at the Citizens' Bureau tell each other what's written.

Then you're supposed to have an opinion on the article. I don't want to.

I spare myself that. Life's too short.

The press are lying. The press are lying.

Don't let those self-important so-called comedians...

...those green, left-wing, satirical opinion leaders...

...confuse you when they make cheap TV...

...by making a fool of you.

We haven't had a right-wing populist party in Germany so far.

AfD, now in parliament, is a party serving exactly that group.

Anything right of centre or right of conservative.

Pegida is the road to AfD.

Isn't it an insult to say the press are lying?

We were really upset at first.

We want to bring news that is true.

As one should in journalism.

But now I don't listen anymore.

It makes no difference what we do. Like I said:

If we write about criminal foreigners, we're not liars.

But if we're critical of Pegida or right-wing extremism, we're liars.

He has a criminal record going way back to 1990.

In the late 1990s he was sentenced on 16 counts of burglary.

Funnily enough he avoided punishment by fleeing.

His supporters don't care.

When Lutz Bachmann tells his supporters something...

...to them it's like he preaches the word of God.

We are the people. We are the people. We are the people.

Tatjana Festerling, one of the leaders of Pegida...

...was once an AfD member, in Hamburg.

They made her leave. She was too right-wing.

But now AfD has taken a huge step in Ms Festerling's direction.

Their points of view are more and more clearly right-wing.

Pegida is the only concrete form of resistance in Germany...

...which also makes it the only visible one.

How else are you supposed to offer resistance?

Once every four years you get a chance to fill in your ballot papers.

To feel sovereign. That lasts exactly three seconds.

That's the time you need to tick two boxes.

The rest of the time you can attend election rallies, of course.

But the individual has no opportunity for official protest.

Students are bullied when they're seen with Pegida.

All German students are expected to shout 'refugees welcome'.

Without any ifs or buts.

There's moral terror, there's opinion dictatorship.

There's a one-sidedness to what is morally correct.

It makes any open debate and any form of protest impossible.

That's what we learned through Pegida.

We are patriots. We fight for the interests of our nation.

And we combat the anti-German politics of the establishment.

Look at Neukölln in Berlin, or parts of the Ruhr Area.

Marxloh in Duisburg is always mentioned.

Hagen, where I live... I don't recognise it anymore.

We had parallel communities there for decades.

We Germans never demanded that people must assimilate.

I use that word on purpose.

Because the Turkish president, Erdogan...

...rejects precisely that.

He radically rejects that kind of integration.

And now, give him a big hand: Hans Thomas Tillschneider.

This is a great honour for me.

Pegida has done wonderful things for our country.

The days when we accepted Islam as a fixed part of Germany...

...are over once and for all, thanks to Pegida.

And the days when we just accepted...

...what one Angela Merkel told us from the top...

...that we had to allow mosques in our cities.

Those days...

Those day are over once and for all, thanks to Pegida.

So today I say: Thank you, Pegida.

There are regular stalkers out there who often tell me on Facebook...

...that I'm a Nazi slut and I should be gassed.

Even that I should be locked up in a concentration camp.

It used to upset me at first.

Because I'm not doing anything unreasonable.

I dedicate myself to freedom. I think that's our highest good.

I'm not right-wing or a Nazi or anything like that.

I'm reasonable.

I'm against the Islam being used...

...to change our German culture here in our country...

...to push it out and make it look evil.

It's the duty of all Germans to oppose that.

And...

Resistance. Resistance.

There's an increasing censorship caused by political correctness.

So you become afraid to say something...

...that is not currently in line with public opinion.

I think that's a bad sign because it actually heralds...

...the end of a democratic culture.

Opposition is part of a democracy.

That involves making room for unpleasant opinions.

You can never say: That opinion is bad, evil and wrong.

Even if you might think so from a certain perspective.

The real question is: Where did that come from?

Why does a person feel that way? Why would someone use violence?

No one is born a Nazi or a violent criminal.

It's always the result of influences during one's upbringing...

...or relationship trouble or social problems.

For politicians and the media and public figures...

...it's always a good idea...

...to ask themselves in those cases: What went wrong?

What's our mistake? What did we miss or underestimate?

What should be done...

...to stop this radicalisation from growing? That's the task.

Mobile Citizens' Bureau

What would you like to have? Please come in.

Could you take the camera away? - I only film your hands.

I'd rather you filmed nothing.

Don't film my face.

The back of your head, is that alright? - Yes, OK.

I'll just launch straight into it. My father is a refugee, from Syria.

My mother is from Bolivia. You want to kick refugees out, right?

Yes. But refugee is a word that needs to be distinguished.

Economic or war. - Yes, there are different notions.

Economic refugees are not refugees. They're immigrants.

Every country has the right, and should have the right...

...to determine who is useful. It sounds dumb, but it's true.

A business doesn't hire just anyone, only qualified people.

It's the same for a state. Why should we invite people here...

...or allow them to come in if they're going to live on welfare?

You flee from persecution or death.

Or poverty. - That's not a real refugee.

Yes, it is. Look, I don't know you, but I'm pretty sure...

...that you never experienced real poverty.

In Bolivia it's not even all that bad.

And yet you're always on the breadline. That's called poverty.

That's why we came here. We fled.

It wasn't like: Hey, let's take a look over there.

We are refugees too.

Our means are limited. - That has nothing to do with it.

It has a lot to do with it. - But a human life is more important.

Let's take a simple example. Think about your own home.

How many people could you take in?

How many people could you feed?

How many bowls do you have?

Some days there were eight people living with us.

There are limits there too.

Don't you see what the real problem is?

The real problem is that people... - Money. That's the problem.

2% of the world's population possess more than...

The problem at hand is much more fundamental.

The problem is not Islam, and it's not Pegida either, obviously.

They both highlight something else:

We must realise the economy can't go on like this...

...with its unjust and unfair trade and exploitation.

We must find a new, social way of living.

We're in a critical phase globally...

...of a struggle, you might say a social world war...

...between the rich and the poor.

There's been colonialism and exploitation.

Now the tables are slowly turning. Those who were disadvantaged...

...and exploited and forced to live in poor circumstances...

...will no longer put up with it. Which makes sense.

The flow of refugees is turning towards Europe.

They finally want their piece of the pie and share in the wealth.

It's understandable.

And then it becomes clear that there are limits. This doesn't work.

So there's only one possible policy:

Not to work on integration for refugees, not to let everyone in...

...but to make sure the inequity is solved.

It's the cause of poverty that must be combatted.

Because it's poverty that creates such a flow of refugees.

You said earlier you're a little scared.

Yes, I'm worried about too much foreign influence...

...and about our generosity backfiring.

So our young women can't wear miniskirts or low tops anymore...

...and we'll all be forced to wear veils.

Pegida is against islamisation of the Occident.

I don't want us Christians to have to conceal our opinions.

I don't want us to be intimidated by mosques and minarets.

I worry about that.

Can't they go together?

You'd think so. But people aren't like that.

Ideally everyone would live together in brotherhood...

...and all religions would work together.

But I think that in many of these camps...

...there are extremists too. Fundamentalists.

I'm afraid of them.

Since not all our residents had made their peace with the idea...

...I said: Listen.

There's no avoiding this now.

Let's welcome them this Saturday with coffee and cakes.

We invited them all into our communal living room.

We had waffles, cookies, chocolates, hot chocolate, milk.

And it was a very harmonious event.

I saw someone walking towards us down the long hallway.

It was a very young woman with a tiny baby on her arm...

...in a nappy.

The front door key was dangling off her finger. It was Momena.

And Momena had a baby who was five days old.

Are you making injera again tonight?

That's delicious.

Our guests are from Eritrea and Somalia.

My family is from Iraq. - Iraq, yes.

Up here there are three men... - Not related. Kurds.

My mother speaks Arabic and a little German.

Do you understand Pegida saying it can't be done, it's dangerous?

I feel ambivalent about that.

On the one side I like our refugees.

We get along really well. It's nice to have them here.

But the big picture is all those millions of refugees...

...and us maybe having to work to the age of 70 to cover the costs.

That worries people. Where do we get the money?

Who's paying for this, at the end of the day?

I'm afraid the taxpayer will be saddled with it eventually.

Part of the Pegida movement...

...feels very strongly about nationalism.

They're afraid the German nation will dwindle.

That more and more and foreigners will be born...

...and Germany may be destroyed. As I understand it.

Our cultural heritage is what our ancestors gave us.

In New York they have many nationalities and cultures co-existing.

We see the same tendency in our big cities in the densely populated areas.

It's no longer a community, but a multi-ethnic state...

...like Yugoslavia once was. And we all know what happened there.

We're not an immigration country like the US where people come from all over.

We have a high level of civilisation.

And our high civilisation is entitled to be preserved.

They said on the radio that the numbers are going down.

16,000 in April, against 20,000 in March.

The numbers seem to indicate it.

But no one knows how many people are on the move.

If I understand the UNHCR data correctly...

...they're similar to last year.

How many of these people will end up with us...

...remains to be seen. It's up to the politicians.

Completely normal. - Unbelievable.

Have you been here before? - Only outside.

But did you see what it was like here a year ago?

What's the capacity? - This facility is for 500 people.

They reduced it, I'm happy to say.

So no more refugees arrive now that the borders are closed.

Won't that solve the problem?

Last summer we also hoped Pegida or right-wing populism would vanish.

And then that wave of refugees came.

That made Pegida grow again.

So I'm not making any predictions about Pegida.

No idea if they'll still be around next year.

Maybe it will turn into a sect of a few hundred people.

AfD realised that earlier. They focus on Islam now.

Refugees are still an issue...

...but they're looking for another one, just to be sure.

Something alien, something un-German that they feel doesn't belong here.

And that's Islam.

Hey, this is Dixie from A Fool's Journey dot com.

I am here with some weekly Tarot for you, for the week of April, what is it? 4th through

10? [no, Dixie, it's not.]

2017.

I hid my cheat sheet.

I have, this week, the Osho Zen deck.

Now I prefer to read these guys without reversals because it's a nontraditional deck and it

can get a little sloppy if you start bringing too many things into it.

But we'll take a look anyway.

Ho, ho, ho.

Okay.

The first thing that I want to say is, we start the week with a sense of being overwhelmed!

Like carrying a weight of the world on our shoulders.

It's important that you, you let go a little bit.

You wanna realize that being very upset or very worked up about things yo have no absolutely

no control over is probably not your best plan.

But what are you gonna do?

Um, moving in to it, okay, as, as the week progresses, there is a shift of the energy.

I do feel like it gets a little bit lighter.

But not fluffy.

Okay?

Absolutely not fluffy.

We've got Death!

But we also have Abundance, which is the King of Pentacles.

Okay, so.

Understand that what's going on, that all of the things that are happening right now

are a function of stuff getting rooted out or changed in the world.

That Death is associated with Scorpio, Pluto energy, so we're talking about death and rebirth!

Transformation.

What's rotting and icky and old getting rooted out.

So, is it a good thing?

Well, it's a necessary thing for life to continue.

Does it feel good?

Not usually.

But what are you gonna do?

Now the outcome of this, um, for the outcome, we have Consciousness.

Hmmmmmm.

So the point of all of this is there is a new awareness or a new ability to deal with

things that comes through the course of this.

Now since this a forecast for the collective, I'm expecting to see this, kind of on a large

scale, but also on kind of a more micro scale.

So macro, micro.

So, whatever feels like it's just being torn up and uprooted and messed around, something

fierce in your life, understand that there's a reason for it.

And you'll come with a new awareness, and ability, once it's done.

Okay?

Let's do a take-home message, or a, a advice/overview.

Okay.

For that, I've got rebirth.

Which is, I believe the ten of swords.

No, wait a minute.

Yeah, that's the ten of wands.

Eh.

Anyway, [laughing] rebirth.

So, it's a good time to reinvent yourself.

Now if you follow astrology, you know that several planets are either retrograde or going

retrograde.

We've got Mercury retrograde, starting the 9th, I believe it is?

So, there's going to be a lot of review and looking back and then adjusting and fitting

it in to current circumstance.

Understand that's kind of a part of what's going on.

Doesn't mean there's something wrong.

So this week feels a little heavy to me, but in the big picture, in the bigger, broader

view, it's, I think it's gonna be a good thing.

Although I'm an eternal optimist, so what are you gonna do?

So that's my forecast for the week.

I hope it's helpful to you.

Yay!

And if it's not, maybe next time or maybe somebody else suits you.

I don't know.

Take care, peace out from the Zen Goddess.

Ahhhhhhhh!

Bye-bye.

I love wearing fuzzy pants.

You can't see it on the good camera but you can in the cell phone!

33 TRIMMED Work and Energy for Rigid Body Planar Motion - Duration: 14:22.

For rigid body planar kinetics, the same principle of work and energy

and conservation of energy that we learned from particle kinetics apply.

As we learned in particle kinetics, the principle of work and energy states that

the total external work done to the system equals to the change in the kinetic energy of the system.

When there are only conservative forces doing work, then we can derive the conservation of energy

which states that the total energy which includes kinetic energy and potential energy of the system stays constant.

The potential energy commonly includes the gravitational potential energy as well as the elastic potential energy.

These two equations also apply to a system of bodies as well.

Now we need to revisit some key concepts defined for rigid body kinetics.

If the rigid body is subjected to a force, and during motion the point of application follows a path,

then during this procedure the work done by this force is defined as the integration of

the dot product of the force vector and the differential position vector.

Keep in mind that this force

is a variable that could change in both magnitude and direction. And since we know that the dot product of two vectors is a scalar,

therefore we can write the scalar form, which is the integration

of the magnitude of the force times cosine theta d_s -- theta is the angle made by the line of action of the force,

and the tangent line along the path,

integrated from the initial point s_1 to the final point s_2.

And as you can probably tell this is the same as what we've learned in particle kinetics.

If the rigid body is subjected to a couple moment, and it rotates within the plane by angle theta, then the work done by this

couple moment is defined as the integration of the dot product of the moment vector and d_theta, the differential angular position vector.

But for planar motion don't forget the moment vector and the angular position vector are both perpendicular to the plane,

therefore they are either of the same direction or opposite direction. Therefore this vector equation can be simplified to this scalar equation:

the work done by this moment is positive when the two vectors are of the same direction, and

the work done by this moment is negative when they are of opposite direction.

A special case will be when the moment has a constant magnitude, then its work is simply M times the difference between

the initial angular position and the final angular position of this rigid body.

Now let's look at the kinetic energy of a rigid body.

For a rigid body undergoing planar motion, from what we've learned in rigid body kinematics that it'll have an angular velocity

and every point on this rigid body will have different linear velocity.

But we can always find the linear velocity of its gravitational center, point G.

Therefore,

the kinetic energy of this rigid body is defined as one half m v_G squared plus one half I_G omega squared.

m, again is the mass of this rigid body,

v_G is the linear velocity of its gravitational center, I_G is the mass moment of inertia of this rigid body with respect to an axis that

passes through point G and is perpendicular to the plane, and omega is the angular velocity.

As you can see this equation clearly captures contributions from both translation as well as rotation.

This is the general equation that applies to all three cases of planar motion.

But if we have translation,

that means that the angular velocity omega is zero, therefore

the kinetic energy of the rigid body simply equals to ½ m v_G squared. As you can see

this is the same as the kinetic energy for a particle.

For rotation about a fixed axis,

the general equation also applies, but we can also rewrite the equation into T equals to ½ I_O omega squared.

I_O is the mass moment of inertia with respect to point O, which is the

center of rotation.

I_O can be determined through parallel axis theorem

from I_G, the mass moment of inertia about the gravitational center.

And lastly for general plane motion, once again the general equation still applies, but

if we can locate the instantaneous center of zero velocity, then

the kinetic energy can be also determined through ½ I_IC omega squared.

Once again, I_IC is the mass moment of inertia about the instantaneous center of zero velocity.

For rigid body kinetics, the gravitational potential energy is defined the same way as in particle kinetics.

Here since the gravitational force always applies at the gravitational center, point G, therefore the displacement of this weight force

is always measured from the gravitational center of this rigid body.

And the elastic potential energy is also defined the same way as in particle kinetics. Once again, for the elastic potential energy

the displacement s of this spring is always measured with respect to its own unstretched neutral position.

And the elastic potential energy is always non- negative.

Let's look at this system. We have two identical rods and two identical disks connected together by pins,

as well as a spring that is initially unstretched when theta equals to 60°.

If the system is released from rest when theta equals to 60°, from our general knowledge we

know that under the weight of the two rods, the two rods are going to fall and

the two disks will be pushed to roll apart. And the disks roll without slipping,

and we need to determine the angular velocities of the rods and the disks when theta becomes 30°.

Since the disks roll without slipping, that indicates that the static frictional force

between the disks and the ground is doing no work during this process,

and since we also know that the normal force exerted by the ground does no work, therefore during motion for our system we only have

conservative forces doing work, which include the gravitational forces as well as the spring force.

Therefore we can apply the conservation of energy to this entire system.

Now let's look at each of these four terms individually.

First we have the total kinetic energy of the system at the initial state. But since the system was released from rest, therefore

the total kinetic energy at the initial state is zero.

Then let's look at the total potential energy

at the initial state.

If we draw a line passing through the centers of the two disks as our datum,

and since the two disks have centers of gravity along the datum, their gravitational potential energy is zero.

And for the gravitational forces of the two rods,

their gravitational center is located at 0.5 times sine 60° above the datum,

and also initially the spring is unstretched, therefore the elastic potential energy of the spring is zero as well.

Therefore from here we can determine

the total potential energy of the system at state one to be 340 joule.

And then we can sketch the final state of this system and determine the final potential energy of the system, which includes the gravitational

potential energy of only the two rods as well as the elastic potential energy,

since the spring now has been stretched.

Therefore that is 203 joule, so we are only left with the last term, which is the final kinetic energy of the system

that includes the kinetic energy of the two rods as well as the two disks.

Don't forget we only have one equation which is the conservation of energy, therefore we can only

solve for one unknown from that equation. So our goal is to rewrite this equation here

into an expression with only one unknown.

Because of the symmetry we only need to focus on the left half of this system which includes one rod and one disk, both of which

are undergoing general plane motion at the final state when theta equals to 30°.

For the rod it has the angular velocity omega_rod, and we can sketch the linear velocity of its gravitational center at point B.

Right now we don't know the direction of this velocity.

For the disk it also has an angular velocity omega_disk, but from the rigid body kinematics that we learned before

we know that the direction of the linear velocity of its gravitational center is horizontal pointing to the left.

As you can see we have two linear velocities here and two angular velocities,

all of which are needed to determine the final kinetic energy of the system.

Therefore we need to explore the relations between these parameters

Let's look at the disk first.

Again because the disks roll without slipping, from the rigid body kinematics that we learned before we know that the point of contact

is the instantaneous center of zero velocity for this disk.

And this is the radius from point C to its IC.

And we learned already that the linear velocity of any point on this rigid body can be determined by omega,

its angular velocity times the radius with respect to IC. Therefore,

v_C can be determined as omega_disk times 0.2 m.

But notice that point C also belongs to the rigid body ABC the rod,

therefore if we can find the instantaneous center of zero velocity for the rod ABC,

then we can relate the linear velocity v_C to the angular velocity omega_rod. How do we do that?

From the symmetry, from observation, we know that the linear velocity of point A is vertical down. Therefore

we draw the two perpendicular lines,

then we can determine the instantaneous center of zero velocity

for the rod.

This distance, the radius of point B with respect to the IC of the rod, from the geometry can be determined to be 0.5 m.

This distance is also 0.5 m.

Therefore

v_C equals to omega_rod time 0.5, but v_C was determined to be 0.2 times omega_disk,

therefore from here we can determine that omega_rod is 0.4 omega_disk.

Therefore,

v_B equals to omega_rod times its radius with respect to IC_rod, which is 0.5 omega_rod again, which is also 0.2 omega_disk.

So now v_B, v_C and omega_rod are all given in expressions of omega_disk, therefore,

the kinetic energy of a rod can be determined

as 1.07 omega_disk squared.

Kinetic energy of the disk can be determined as well. Therefore this is the total kinetic energy,

which is an expression with only one unknown, omega_disk.

Now we have analyzed every term in this equation,

the initial total kinetic energy is zero, initial total potential energy,

final total kinetic energy as an expression of omega_disk, and final total potential energy.

Therefore we have one equation, only one unknown, we can solve it.

And if we know the angular velocity of the disk, because the angular velocity of the rod is 0.4 omega_disk, therefore we can determine

the angular velocity of the rod as well.

'Today, India has world-class missile systems' - Duration: 2:41.

Welcome to WARN, Todays News is. Today, India has world-class missile systems

The journey through her life is intertwined with that of India's missile programmes - Tessy

Thomas, director of Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL) of Defence Research and Development

Organization (DRDO), started her career at DRDO the day the first Prithvi missile was

test-fired. From that day on, in past two and a half decades, India has joined the club

of a handful of countries having missile systems capable of striking in the range of 500 to

5,000 km even with nuclear warhead and has experimented with different propulsion systems.

Thomas was in Ahmedabad on Saturday at Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) to deliver 10th

Dr Lalita Iyer Memorial Lecture on the topic 'Women in Scientific Achievements.' She talked

at length about her formative years, her initiation in defence science and the road ahead.

"It was my mother's dream to see us all educated and working in jobs. In those days, there

was nobody to provide career guidance, but I was very much interested in mathematics

and dreamt to be an engineer even before I could understand its meaning," said Thomas.

"However, I got into electronic engineering at Thrissur and after completion of BTech

got an opportunity to do MTech in guided missiles," she said.

Among the few women scientists at the defence technology at that time, she got an opportunity

to work at DRDO with Dr A P J Abdul Kalam.

"Right from the word 'go', he was a constant inspiration. I started with the work on gyro-less

intertial navigation system," said Thomas. "After Prithvi, Agni programme was envisioned

as the technology demonstrator, and we made a lot of improvisations, overcoming all odds,

like making navigation more effective, missile casings heat-resistant and

the body lighter," she added.

🎨 Speed painting: Primary Color Challenge ❤️💛💙 - Duration: 6:16.

Hello everybody and welcome back to my channel!

In today's video I'm doing the Primary Color challenge.

This was suggested by my subscriber "Blue Magician 12", thank you for the idea!

The goal of the challenge is to create an artwork only using the primary colors ; blue, red and yellow.

They are no rules about which kind of medium one should use, so I picked watercolours.

They are easier to blend and are quite buildable.

I already prepared my sketch, using a blue pencil, and I also made a little colour chart

to help me visualize what the watercolours looked like on paper, mixed with each other.

Since I can't use black or brown pens for my lineart, you'll see me using my inks later.

I mixed my blue, magenta and yellow ink to get a brown.

The rest of this video is sped up, it's basically me going back and forth with colours and mixing them to look like I want.

So, I will see you at the end, Enjoy!

And I'm done! This is the finished artwork, I'm pretty happy with it!

Building the watercolours took quite a while because I forced myself to really wait between each coats,

so I wouldn't mess up anything.

The biggest part of the challenge was the inking process though.

I tried to add as much details as I could, to make the drawing less dull.

But anyway, thank you so much for watching this video!

If you liked it, please give me a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel.

I will see you next week, BYE!

JOB INTERVIEW EXPERIENCES || WHAT IT IS LIKE BEING DEAF? - Duration: 12:24.

Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel

Sorry about the mess in the background. We're renovating around the house

So we can put it up for sale then move by the end of the year or next year. We'll see

It takes time to renovate, you know how it works

Okay so I just got back home from a job interview

That's why I look extra nice, a little bit of makeup

I just want to explain everything from my experiences of how many interviews I had to go through

And what it is like to be deaf and go through an interview

Educate some of you guys if you aren't aware

Let's get started!

Ok so I remember I started looking for a job when I was in high school because I wanted to earn extra money

But it was super tough

Most of the time, people would rather hire people when they're above 18 years old

I wasn't 18 years old at that time so I understood why

So I waited when I got older, I remember I got my first job when I was 18, I believe

It was right after I graduated from high school

It was a summer program for high school kids

It was environmental, worked on/cleaned up the trails, everything related

It was called Student Conservation Association (SCA) and I absolutely loved that job

It was a six weeks program

It really helped me a lot about how to communicate with people, team leadership, skills, etc

It was really fun! I enjoyed the program

Right straight after I was finished with the program, I had a really severe foot injury

So I had to take a year off from everything

Because I couldn't walk for a couple of months, then I could but again, I couldn't

I went through a lot of physical therapy, surgery and all of that stuff

After that, I finally got a job a year later

I remember before getting the job

I was constantly looking for a job, I applied to many places such like fast food, retail, any jobs that doesn't require much experience

Easy jobs I can get for younger teens

I constantly applied to many jobs and I didn't really hear anything back

Till finally at last, Target. Finally!

So I went in for an interview, I remember being nervous for it.

They did provide an interpreter. I was lucky and grateful. Because not every place won't provide one for you

It went very well

About a week later, they called me to say that they wanted to hire me officially

I was really happy about it

I was excited about it. It went on for 3 months (seasonal)

But unfortunately, what I did was stocking so I had to get up really early in the mornings

3-4 times a week. It was from 6AM to 10-11AM, I believe

At first, I did enjoy the job but then I had school that would clash up with my work schedule

I became very overwhelmed so I decided I had to quit since it wasn't working out for me

So about a month later, I needed to get another job obviously because I needed money

I mean how would I pay for school, books, gas since I was driving to school and everywhere else

My parents preferred me to rely on myself, not 100 percent dependent on them

I was okay with it so I looked for a job

At that time, I admit it was easier because it was during the holidays

I noticed once I got a little bit of experience from working at Target for 3 months

After that, it was easy. I got bunch of interviews. They wanted me to come in for an interview

I was taken aback. I was surprised

Back of my head, I was like of course it's all about experience

I got one interview that made an impact on me. It was at Banana Republic

One of the managers, he was really interactive with me even though he didn't know sign language

I informed him that I was deaf

From other interviews I went to, they were very doubtful and didn't want to do anything with me

Because they tend to say that we have a communication barrier

"We don't want to take too much time training you"

"I would much rather have for you to just come in and get right into the job"

They didn't want to waste their time with a deaf person and having to take a lot of time to train. I was disappointed (offended)

But at Banana Republic, they were interactive and very willing to train me. I felt very touched

He was a really sweet man and I was very thankful

He wanted to hire me right on the spot. I was surprised

Besides that, I want to explain about what did I see, what I had to deal with, what kind of experiences

So I remember when I went to interviews such like Target and QFC

They called me to see if we could set up for an interview and I told them, "Of course I would like to!"

I let them know that I'm deaf and I would like to request for an interpreter if you could provide

Those two places, they were able to provide one for me. I was very lucky. I was grateful

It really helped me with communication

I would much rather have an interpreter because having one could help me communicate much better that way

Because I can speak pretty well but I'm not fluent

That's why it's important for me to have one so I can be interactive so the hiring manager could understand me

It gives me a better chance of being hired

Most of the time, they typically don't provide an interpreter

Or they would have one of their employees that might know a little bit of ASL. I'm like better than nothing but yeah

I remember going to some interviews, sometimes I would just bomb the interview like really bad

Usually before we could begin the interview, I warn them that I'm deaf

And sometimes they would get annoyed when they find out that I'm deaf

Then they would try to cut the interview fast as possible as they can

I get very frustrated. I'm like, "Wow you wouldn't even give me a chance. Like you never know"

Even though if it doesn't really matter if I'm qualified or have the experience

Once they find out that you're deaf or kind of a disability or whatever that would hold you back from the job you have to do

But I warn that even though I'm deaf. I can lip read, I have a hearing device, I can do anything.

It doesn't affect me from doing my work. I just need a little bit of support and help, that's all I need

I'm not asking for much but they get scared away when they find out I'm deaf

I get a little frustrated

So that's why I try to tell you guys (deaf) is to EDUCATE

Because a lot of people out in the world are not educated. They don't know much about the deaf culture

It's getting better though! But you know..

I remember there was one job interview, it was at a food place

I was excited because I really needed a job

So there was one person, she was a sweet woman. She was interactive with me

She told me, "You're a great person! You have great experience, you're perfect. But you're deaf, I'm concerned

about how long we have to communicate since this is a fast paced place. So I don't know about your deafness and communication"

I was like, come on. So that is one of the cons. Sometimes it can hold us back

It sucks sometimes because I'm like it doesn't matter if I'm deaf or whatever

If I had the same kind of qualifications/experiences all of that.. If I was hearing instead, they would hire me easily

But if I'm deaf, they would doubt about my communication or don't know how long it will take

They would feel like you will take too much time so they try to stay away

Let's compare that and see the difference

That's why it's up to me. It's up to you guys to show and prove that you can do it!

Like for example, yes I'm deaf, obviously of course

But I tell them directly that I understand I'm deaf but I can lip read, I can speak a little bit, I have a hearing device

All I need is a little bit of support. I actually have an app. You should download the app!

It's called Ava

Let me show you guys

My best friend, Cheyenna, she showed me the app and it really helps me a lot

Turn on the microphone and have the person speak into the speaker

Cool right? It said hello automatically

???

Even though I didn't say YouTube

But you get the idea

I'm hooking it up for you deaf people or whoever else. You're welcome

My point saying is that you have to be assertive. I mean you have to. Show them. Educate them!

Show them that it doesn't affect how you will work

That's how I have to be like because how really my personality is like

I'm very timid, shy, and introvert (more of ambivert lol)

I mean I'm not that kind of person who would be direct and be open about yourself

I mean it sucks because I have to be out of my comfort zone

But it really helps because at some interviews, they would be taken aback

Like "Oh you can do that, I didn't know"

It would really change their perspective

So think about it!

Another thing that I hate when I go in interviews is that I tell them they would need to look at me

It's because that's how I can lip read and understand you

Sometimes they're like oh okay you're deaf... Then they look away and start talking while not looking at me

I'm like, how am I supposed to understand you like that way

Sometimes I would have to remind them again to look at me and sometimes some people won't do that

I get very frustrated and that's when I know it's not the right place for me to work at

Because for me, my top priority is to find a work place where I can be accepted

I can't work in a place where people would push me away because I'm deaf

It's very important for me to have people understand that I'm deaf and put in effort to communicate with me

I would feel much more happy (touched). I mean honestly!

But then if you don't, like what do you expect?

I mean no one likes going to interviews! It's very nerve wrecking honestly

Be more assertive even though some of you guys may be introverted

You have to be more assertive to show them. Educate them

They would be taken aback and realize what you're really capable of!

That could give you a better chance of being hired

It sucks because I know for some people, they're trying to get a job or whatever

Like we're adults. We have bills to pay. We have responsibilities

Please don't try to push us away

But in the real world, it's very hard for us since we have to really show or put a lot of effort that we're capable

So it would be really nice at least if you could meet us halfway

We don't ask for much, honestly. We just don't

All we ask for you to look at us and for some people who can't speak, please try to write down and be interactive with us

We will be happy to meet you halfway and put in the same effort as much as you do

This isn't really a planned video whatever. It's more of a rant video and off topics

Sorry if it's not in order

I just wanted to vent out and explain about my experiences. Also what I've been seeing lately

I hope some of things I said will help you benefit somehow

If you have any comments/opinions/thoughts, comment below! I want to hear what you have to say

Don't forget to like this video and subscribe!

See you guys later! Bye guys

Product Red Black Screen + Dbrand iPhone 7 Plus Skin Install = Giveaway! How to Apply Dbrand Skin? - Duration: 4:31.

I really like the look of the Product Red iPhone, more so the back and not the front

so after watching Jonathan Morrison and Unbox Therapy, I decided that I would go ahead and

purchase a red iPhone skin from Dbrand.

I tend to follow instructions very well; however, I had problems installing this skin.

The main part of the skin looks very good, but I could not get the corners to align for

a seamless look.

This will bother me every single time I look at my phone so I'm going to try to camouflage

the corners with a case.

Putting a case on defeats the purpose as I just wanted to showcase the red backing on

the phone, but those corners are definitely irritating me.

With the case you really need to be paying attention to see the corners, but it still

bothers me because I know that the corners are messed up.

I ordered more than one skin because I knew that I would probably mess the first application

up, but I see now that I'm not about that skin life if I'm the one installing it.

Stay tuned because at the end of the video I will give details about how

you can win one of these skins.

Once again, I

have failed at the corner installation.

I don't know how the hell you all are able to install these skins with flawless precision.

Down below in the comments give me some tips.

But I kind of like how the purple backing looks in this case.

So here's what you have a chance to win, and please note that these skins fit the iPhone

7 Plus, not the iPhone 7, but the iPhone 7 Plus.

If you're interested in entering this giveaway, check the rules in the description box below

and make sure to leave a comment using #WinSkin answering this question "what two colors

should Apple permanently add to its iPhone lineup?"

Hallelujah for the Cross - piano instrumental cover with lyrics - Duration: 3:38.

Up to the hill of Calvary my Savior went courageously

And there He bled and died for me, hallelujah for the cross

And on that day the world was changed, a final, perfect Lamb was slain

Let earth and heaven now proclaim, "Hallelujah for the cross!"

Hallelujah for the war He fought, love has won, death has lost

Hallelujah for the souls He bought, hallelujah for the cross!

What good I've done could never save, my debt too great for deeds to pay

But God, my Savior, made a way, hallelujah for the cross

A slave to sin, my life was bound but all my chains fell to the ground

When Jesus' blood came flowing down, hallelujah for the cross!

Hallelujah for the war He fought, love has won, death has lost

Hallelujah for the souls He bought, hallelujah for the cross!

Instrumental

And when I breathe my final breath I'll have no need to fear that rest

This hope will guide me into death, hallelujah for the cross!

Hallelujah for the war He fought, love has won, death has lost

Hallelujah for the souls He bought, hallelujah for the cross!

Video Studio Pro is used to slow down the speed of Wolverine Movie Maker files part 1 of 3 - Duration: 10:08.

This is Ron from Super8tovideo.

This is a three-part series and this is part one of three of how to slow a Wolverine MovieMaker

film down using Corel VideoStudio Pro.

I am going to double-click Corel's icon right here, start it up, and this actually takes

a minute so I am going to skip to the end.

Now were at the end, so what I do is I come up here and do what I call unmaximize this

film by clicking on this little box right here, just left click it once, that brings

it down to this state here, because that's the last state that I left it in, and what

I mean is I can come over here with this mouse, and just go right here to the edge and just

hover over it until those double lines appear, see how they appear, disappear, appear, disappear,

so I come over here, then I'm going to left click and hold it, and now I can shrink it

down, if I want, or expanded out if I want so I'm going to shrink it all the way down

till we'll say right there, and let go, now I'm going to close it down to show you VideoStudio

Pro will remember, this state the next time I started up, even though I haven't hit save

or any of that, so I am going to close it down, and now I'm going to restart it, and

it's going to start up in the state that I just left it in.

So I am double-clicking it again, again, this takes a minute so I am going to skip to the

end, now were at the end.

Okay, now, I am going to come over, hover over it again, grab it, drag it out to here,

And I'm going to bring in an 8 mm film, shot at 16 frames a second, and all you do is bring

it down here to what they call the timeline, and then let go of the left click I just held

the left click, and this box, comes up, only the very first time you bring a film in and

it says do you want to change the project settings to match the videos properties, I

always say yes to this, okay, and now we want to change this speed of this film because

it actually plays too fast.

What I mean is if you watch my dog, running around the yard, watch how fast he moves,

see how it's playing to quick, so will pause this, I come over here to this green area,

and I double-click it, that brings up this area right in here, the color correction and

one of the selections, is speed time-lapse, so single click this speed time-lapse, and

this here comes up, and right here where it says, speed, I know at 16 frames a second

what we want to set it at, is, is 53%, technically it's 53.3 but VideoStudio Pro won't allow

us to do that.

It will allow us to do 53% or 54% but not 53.3 so I just click and this box, backspace

the 100, hit 53 and now if you look right here at this end, see how we can see the end

of the film right now, as soon as I hit this okay box, this is going to disappear because

the film has become longer, so I go okay, notice how now we can't see the end of the

film.

What I do is I come to this little ball here, and I left single click and I hold it, and

now I can move this ball, and I move it to the left, and the more left I go, the more

unmagnified it becomes, and you can see the film gets more and more to where you can see

more and more of the film, if we had a really long film over here, you'd have to keep moving

it further to the left, to be able to see it.

So, will kinda re-maximize it, up to about there, and now what I'm going to do is, I

am going to bring up a WordPerfect document and it's going to show us the different speeds

we need for different types of film.

Super eight film was done in two different speeds it was done in either 18 frames per

second or 24 frames per second, the vast majority of them were done at 18 frames a second.

So, when it's done at 18 frames per second, you put it at 60%, when it's done at 24 frames

per second you do it it 80%.

When it's done at 24 frames per second and you accidentally put it that 60%, what it

will do is it will appear to play, in slow motion, so therefore, and it's very obvious,

you can see it right away, when that happens just set it up to 80%, you'll see it'll play

at the correct speed.

Now, 8 mm is a little more tricky, because there were a few cameras that filmed at 18

frames per second, but the vast majority did it at 16 frames a second.

So you said that 53% with VideoStudio Pro because it won't allow you to do that 53 point

3 percent.

I guarantee you you will never see the difference between that .3% or not.

These three right here 60% 80% and 53% those were the vast vast majority of the films that

were done.

But in the 20s 30s and 40s a few films, were done at 12 frames a second and 15 frames a

second so just in case you were to run into one of those oddball films.

All you do is to find the speed is, divide the frame rate by 30.

So 24÷30 is 80%.

18÷30 is 60%.

16÷30 is 53.3% but like I say just set it at 53%

15 frames a second is 50% and 12 frames a second is 40% 8mm was almost always shot at

16 frames per second, but in very rare cases, was shot at 18 frames per second.

If it seems a little to slow try 60% but it is very subtle and not obvious like the 24

frames verses 18 frames.

Dave Oldaker, one of my subscribers asked a good question.

Could we figure out what film rate a film was shot at by counting frames per foot.

I thought about it, and my answer would be no.

A fifty foot roll shot at 18 frames a second, would definitely be shorter in time than one

shot at 16 frames per second, but still how would you be able to tell how many still frames

per second are supposed to be there, without a strobe or some clock reference.

I am closing down WordPerfect.

I am now coming over here and starting the dog up again with the 53% change I set earlier.

Notice how now the dog is running at normal speed.

This is Ron of super8tovideo signing off on part one of three.

If you want to go to the other videos in this series, all you do is, is go right up to here.

Click on it, click on this, this takes you to my web page.

Scroll down a little bit, this this this and this, you can pretty well ignore, but these

blue ones that's part 1, part 2, part 3 this coming soon is a video on X8, X9,an X10

of VideoStudio Pro X10 being the latest one which is April 1st 2017.

This right here if you click on it it will take you Corel's site at VideoStudio Pro.

You can download the latest version X10 for free and try it for thirty days.

This here is if you want an older version it will take you to Amazon and it'll take

you to one of the older versions, you can buy one of the older versions of Corel VideoStudio

Pro.

Basically that's it from this point I am just going to let it go to the blue screen

and let you make your decision.

[Elsword] Battle Strategies - PvE Freyja! - Duration: 8:02.

Battle Strategies, PvE Freyja!

At the begining, the PvE with Freyja can be very boring and monotonous for those who are starting to play, but after you reach the transcendence, you can see a huge difference in your damage and gameplay. With the transcendence, you can deal better on PvE and that's what we're gonna talk about today. I've already spoke about ECP, Sets and El Resonance, so there is no need to repeat them.

Passives

Freyja is character who has so many passives with great content. Many players play with her and don't even explore the benefits of hers passives. Before we explore them, let's check out what they do to Freyja ( in the max level )

Battlefield Angell Musket Firing Speed Increase 20% Musket MP Consumption Reduction 50% Nitro Motor Charge Increase 4

Arsenal Reinforcement Retention Time Increase 10 seconds Burn, Ice Effect Duration Increase 12,5% MP Gain Increase ( elemental bullets ) 12% Reload Amount (Grenade) (When used in the air) -1 MP Usage Decrease (Grenade) 20%

The MP reduction on grenades happens in this way: If you don't have loaded any grenade, the next grenade will receive a 20% mp reduction to use/load, but this doesn't happen if you already have loaded one grenade. To have the reduction again, you have to throw all your loaded grenades.

And if you're asking yourself, ECP receives the 20% reduction too.

Key of Proof Damage Increase ( using on air ) 40% MP reduction ( using on air ) 25%

Different from Servo Nitro, the damage increase still happens if you use on air and stand on the floor.

Quarter Master Cooldown reduction ( grenade skills ) 25% Load number increase ( grenade skills ) 4

Awakened Will: Freyja All speed increase 5% Servo Nitro receives 20% reduced damage by staying on air Natural MP recovery increase by 3 (pve)/1 (pvp) per type of loaded grenade ( max 3 ) Fisical and Magical Attack increase by 5% per type of loaded grenade ( max 3 )

If you wanna know more about this, i made a video explaing it

Enhance Equipment EMP Storm can be used in air. C4 Remote Control will ignore defense if detonated after stacking all 5 ( 3 after true level ). Attributed Bullets: Silver/Freezing/Blazing Bullet will ignore guard. Elemental Bullets duration increase 5 seconds Lightweight Mine cooldown instalation decreased 50% Pressure Grenade Critical Rate increase 50% Freezing Grenade "freeze" effect increase 200% Flash Grenade can be load.

If you wanna know more about this, i made a video explaing it

Besides not being a passive, we still have to pay attention to Servo Nitro

Servo Nitro Enhances the nitro motor for 30 (45 trait ) seconds, increasing speed and providing an attack advantage while in the air Critical rate and Additional Damage increased 15% MP gain increased 15% Aerial Movement Charge Increase 2 ( pve )/ 1 ( pvp ) Aerial Movement Speed Increase 10% Reduced Damage increase 20%

Okay, but what's the great point in those passives?

If you understand they, you can increase your gameplay, if it's in PvE or PvP The video focus on PvE, so later i'll do a video about these passives on PvP. So let's focus in some treasure of they.

MP reduction

One of the greatest treasures of Freyja is to make a skill with a high cost become a skill with 100 or 200 cost ( max ). If you wanna enjoy better this, i recommend you to use 100 points of El Resonance in MP reduction ( the next calculations will use this effect )

You can have 25% reduction by staying on air, 25% by El Resonance. With these two you already have 50% reduction on your skill by just using on air. If the skill has MP reduction trait, it'll be more! But the trait reduction happens before the others, it affects the skill naturally and after happens the other effects.

So if you use the MP reduction trait on EMP Storm (20%), it'll cost 240 mp, with 50% reduction, 120 mp, if you don't use the trait, it'll cost only 150 mp to do it.

But you don't have just that. You have the Arsenal Reinforcement, who can reduce the cost of your grenade by 20%, if you don't have loaded any grenade. The passive happens situationally, so i think it don't affect the skil naturally, so you can acumulate it ( correct me if i'm wrong )

To have an ideia, Pressure Grenade cost 200 mp, you can decrease that to 160 mp with trait, 80 mp with El Resonance and using on air, 48 mp if you don't have loaded any grenades yet. So a skill who cost 200 mp can be used easily by 48 mp. If you don't use the trait, it'll cost 60 mp, if you don't have loaded any grenade.

I have 73 points on MP Reduction.

If you choose the other trait, you can combine the 130% increase with the giant buff that the Velder Set gives, becoming a huge explosive area to your skill. And we don't even are talking about other itens who can reduce the cost much more, like Hero itens, for an example.

Damage Increase

Easily you can increase the damage on Freyja with your passives. Using buffs like, using on air, Servo Nitro, Trans, Overstrike you'll have: 40+20+30 = 70% Damage increase

If you use that on Pressure Grenade, for an example, you have 15% critical and additional damage increase, 50% critical rate, a low cost of 48 mp. A 200 mp skill, costing 48 mp with a 70% damage increase and other buffs. And i don't even added El Resonance and Set Hero effects.

So much MP

Because Freyja has so many reduction, you'll have so much mp to your skills. Musket if a weapon who can get a lot of mp, even if you don't use an elemental bullet, and like how have the Transcendence passive who turns your natural recovery by 10, you'll have enough mp to PvE.

That's why it's recommended to you to have 1 of these 3 different itens: Dark El; A set who gives mp buff; Magic Necklace So remember, don't have more than 1 of these 3 different itens. Freyja has so many mp buffs and reductions and if you do that, you're gonna have so much mp to your skills. Use this thing to increase other status that you want.

And what i have to use?

There is some skills who are "must-have" on your build, and they are: Servo Nitro, Pressure G, Flash G, Freeze G, some elemental bullet and Hyper. The others you can choose whatever you want. But it's recommended to you to focus on damage skills, because beside the skills of Freyja doesn't have a high damage like the others, she has so many skills who you can use and do other things while they still happen, or skill who has a quickly animation. The skills who has a low animation has invencibility, a thing that can help you in so many situations.

But if you wanna a build, i use this

And how i'm gonna deal in PvE?

It's simple, keep your buffs activaded, active the max you can you Overstrike buffs, use your quick skills to clean the maps ( i recommend to not waste your loaded grenades while you're not on the boss ) and use a lot of your x with elemental bullets ( Blazing recommended )

Match without solo buff

When you reach the boss, use your skills and while they still happen, like EMP Storm, for an exampe, get quickly mp and use the skill who aren't in cooldown yet. After doing all of your damage skills, use your grenades. After that, reload your grenades and repeat the process. It can helps you a lot on bossing.

Match without solo buff

But remember, don't be a fool on boss, learn how to defeat him, enjoy the dangerous moments to use skills like Barbecue or Vyper Shower because they have invencibility. Freyja can fly, so use that to run or attack from afar and avoid dying.

What does it mean to dance with All Bodies Dance Project? - Duration: 2:32.

So, what do you like about dancing with us?

I love All Bodies Dance Project because it allows me to be free.

It's a space where everybody is welcome, and you can just do whatever works for you.

It's really tremendously rewarding.

It's a joy getting to know my partner, and getting to know each other as friends.

I found a place where it's just... everybody's included.

And it wasn't about the ideal body, it was just about loving movement and dance,

and wanting to feel connected.

And it certainly felt that way.

It just brought me back to enjoying what I love,

which is movement and dance.

I enjoy the smiles, the energy,

the fact that everyone's there for the same and different reasons.

The feeling of community.

It's also removing barriers.

And I think we need that in all aspects of life at this point.

We need some barriers to be removed.

It's just an amazing opportunity for me to experiment

and find new ways of moving my body,

new ways of perceiving space and time and dance.

And just... I'm learning every day so much being in the studio

with all the people and all the dancers from the All Bodies Dance Project.

For me it means a career, it means professionalism, it means to develop myself as a dancer,

it means opportunity to access training that I wouldn't normally get to access,

and also share this type of dance with audiences around the community

as well as around the world hopefully one day.
