YouTube Removes Monetization For Smaller Channels With New Rules - Duration: 2:50.

It looks like YouTube aren't done making changes to their Partner Program, and with the advertiser

boycott still in effect, this is something that shouldn't be seen as surprising.

Early today, YouTube announced that they will making several alterations to the Partner

Program, a system that allows content creators to display ads on their videos and get paid,

and one of these changes will be implemented immediately.

From now on, YouTubers with less that 10,000 channel views will not be able to monetize

their content.

Note: this is 10,000 views across their entire channel and so includes all videos' views

added together.

Once a creator hits 10,000, they'll then be able to start the application process to join

the Partner Program and, if accepted, be able to monetize all videos without any restrictions.

However, notice how I said "start the application process"?

Previously, all you had to do to start monetizing content was create an adsense account, hit

a button and away you go, but, with these new rules, all of that changes.

The new review process isn't in effect yet, but YouTube has stated that it will be implemented

within a few weeks and, from the sounds of it, YouTube will now manually review your

channel first and make sure it's following their "community guidelines" and "advertiser

policies".

To quote from the YouTube's blog post: "In a few weeks, we'll also be adding a

review process for new creators who apply to be in the YouTube Partner Program.

After a creator hits 10k lifetime views on their channel, we'll review their activity

against our policies.

If everything looks good, we'll bring this channel into YPP and begin serving ads against

their content.

Together these new thresholds will help ensure revenue only flows to creators who are playing

by the rules."

This move should be seen as YouTube attempting to ease the controversy surrounding them in

recent weeks, which has seen over 300 influential companies pull all advertising on the platform,

over concern that not enough is being done to prevent ads from appearing on videos supporting

hate speech or other content not deemed advertiser friendly.

Recently the company also made another set of changes to the monetization system, which

saw, YouTube take a tougher stance on hate speech, as well as other changes, such as

giving advertisers more control over the types of videos they want ads to appear on.

It's predicted that the boycott could cost YouTube 750 million dollars and currently

there's been no talk from any of the advertisers about returning to the platform, despite YouTube

already making many changes to try and win back advertiser trust.

Furthermore, Censored Gaming itself has been very directly affected by all of this, with

ad revenue seeing a huge 90% decrease since late March.

This is naturally a story that Censored Gaming is going to be watching very closely and I'll

be sure to keep you updated when any new developments are made.

Hello! My name is Dina. And I'm very glad to see you on my channel "Collection of Recipes".

In the North Caucasus there are many different nationalities and each has its own ancient culinary traditions.

Today we will talk about Ossetian pies - a symbol of happiness, abundance and prosperity.

On holidays in Ossetia 3 pies are served, but since I will cook them with three kinds of delicious filling, I will cook 3 times more dough.

The list of products that you see on the screen is based on 3 pies

For the test, we need:

• 500 gr. Flour • 250 ml. Kefir

• 100 ml. Water • 1 egg

• 1,5 tbsp. Vegetable oil • 1 tsp. Sahara

• 1/3 tsp. Salt • 3 tsp. Dry yeast

To prepare the dough, I will use a large bowl.

Pour into it kefir at room temperature, warm water,

Pour out salt, sugar, slightly mixed eggs,

Pour out the yeast, and mix everything thoroughly until the salt and sugar completely dissolve.

We add a little flour to the bowl, and while the dough is liquid, we knead it with a whisk,

Add more flour and continue to stir with your hands.

Pour out the remaining flour by weight and continue kneading.

Pour about 1/3 of the vegetable oil and mix it into the dough.

Continue kneading the dough for 5-7 minutes, during this time we add another 1/3 part of the butter.

The dough turned out to be soft and elastic, pour the rest of the vegetable oil on it, lubricating the surface of the dough and the walls of the dishes.

We cover the bowl with a towel and remove to go to a warm place, I use an oven with the lamp turned on or the "minimum heat" mode.

In the meantime, our dough is suitable, fill in the fillings.

For the first filling, take: • 800-900 gr. Chicken meat

• 1/2 bunch of green onions • 1/2 bunch of dill

• 1/2 bunch of cilantro • salt and pepper

Chicken meat, I pre-ground, and now cut the greens and green onions.

Cut the greenery into the mince, add salt, pepper and carefully mix the filling.

To prepare the second filling we need:

• 800-900 gr. Cottage cheese • 1 bunch of green onions

• 1 bunch of dill • 1 bunch of cilantro

• 1 bunch of chervil • Salt and pepper

Instead of cottage cheese, you can use Adyghe cheese, Osetian cheese, suluguni or brynza.

Finely cut coriander, dill, chervil and green onions, instead of chervil, you can use parsley.

Chopped herbs with salt, pepper and add cottage cheese, slightly squeezing it with his hands.

The filling is thoroughly mixed.

Our cheese with fresh herbs is ready.

To prepare the third filling we will need: • 600 gr. Any brine cheese

• 5-6 large boiled potatoes • Salt and pepper.

I pre-cooked the potatoes in salted water, drained the broth, and while the potatoes were hot - it was ground in a mashed potatoes.

For this filling I use 2 types of cheese, brynza and Adyghe.

In a separate bowl, grind the cheese.

Brynza I'll rub on a large grater, and I'll break the Adyghe cheese.

Cheese slightly salted, add the pepper and put the cooled mashed potatoes.

We knead the filling to a homogeneous state.

All the fillings are prepared, and in the meantime the dough perfectly suited.

The table is lightly sprinkled with flour and spread out our dough.

Divide the dough visually into 3 parts and divide each part into 3 parts.

Next, we begin to form the pies themselves.

I recommend doing this directly on parchment paper or a silicone rug on which pies will be baked.

We lay the mat on the baking sheet, lightly sprinkle it with flour.

We take the dough and put it on the mat with a smooth side.

Hand distribute the dough in a small flat cake and put on it 1/3 of the filling, now we are preparing pies with chicken forcemeat.

The edges of the dough need to be assembled to the center and tightened well.

Turn the prepared ball with the seam down and carefully, slowly, palms stretch the dough with the filling into a neat flat cake.

In the center of the flat cake, make a small hole to exit the steam.

The same procedure is repeated with the second and third pie.

Do not lubricate the pies, send them to a preheated oven to 200 ° C and bake them for 25-30 minutes.

While pies with meat are baked, prepare pies with cottage cheese and herbs.

Repeat the procedure in the same way, the only difference is that the pies with the finished filling enough in several places to pierce the fork.

Pies with meat are already ready, we take them out and shift to the plate a pile of 3 pieces, abundantly lubricating each melted butter.

On the loose baking sheets, we shift the pies with cottage cheese and herbs and send them to the oven.

And while they are baking, we will form pies with a third filling.

When preparing Ossetian pies, consider one feature - the proportion of the test should correspond to the proportion of the filling,

The news that the whole world is discussing today is the US missile strike against Syria.

Without a UN mandate, at four o'clock in the morning,

two warships from the Mediterranean Sea launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles

at the Shayrat Airbase in the Homs Governorate.

There are casualties among the military and among civilians.

Immediately after the strike, as if it had been expected,

the ISIS offensive began in the region.

The bonds we have with our canine companions are unlike any other friendships or relationships

we have.

Some of us love our dogs like children, and it's no wonder.

There's an unconditional friendship there that makes everything better.

And knowing what's going on inside those knobby little heads can only make us understand them

better.

Here's what you might not realize about your furball's weirdest little habits.

Let's start with the greatest mystery of our time.

Why do some dogs eat poop?

Horse poop, cat poop, unidentified poop … sometimes, their own poop.

Some dogs just love the stuff.

For some horrible reason.

Poop-eating such a common thing that it even has a scientific name: coprophagia.

There are a whole bunch of reasons a dog might be doing it, and sometimes it's a problem.

Most pups sample some poop at some point just for the heck of it.

Nursing mothers will often eat the poop of their puppies to clean up after them, and

some puppies will see Mom doing it and think it's what they should be doing, too.

Puppy see, puppy do, right?

"Who taught you how to do this stuff?"

"You, alright?

I learned it by watching you!"

In some cases, though, it might be a sign that there's some sort of behavioral issue

brewing.

Do they spend too much time alone?

Are they doing it just to get your attention?

If they get a rise out of their two-legged friends by nomming on droppings, that might

be what's happening.

But if your adult dog suddenly starts wolfing down poopsicles, they also might not be getting

enough nutrients — and decided to add turds to the menu to supplement their diets.

That can happen if they're on food that's not the best quality, or if they're developing

some underlying condition like diabetes.

So, you know, you might want to get that checked out before your furball turns into a toilet

… or a fire hydrant.

"Ha.

Good one."

On the other hand, it's perfectly normal for even the healthiest and sanest dog to stop,

drop and roll in crap on any given day.

So don't fret if they come inside smelling like a butt when you least expect it.

Now, while we're on the subject of butt smells...

What's with the butt-sniffing?

As a mere human, you're probably baffled by what could possibly be so interesting about

the smell of a dog's butt.

But for canines, that rear stink is where it's at.

Well, sort of.

As it turns out, dogs aren't exactly smelling other butts … at least, not in the way you

think.

They're actually getting a whiff of what's coming from something appropriately called

the "anal sac."

This is the source of some chemical secretions that contain a huge amount of information

about the dog.

Sort of like a dog's fingerprint, or driver's license, or Facebook account — but, like...in

its butt.

One dog can tell a ton from what's coming out of these glands, right down to their new

friend's diet and current emotional state.

Researchers have found that the chemical compounds are only half of the communication network,

and that dogs have a super-sensitive receptor in their noses called the Jacobson's organ.

This particular receptor is tuned to the particular acids secreted by the anal glands.

It allows them to completely filter out any other scents that might get in the way of

receiving this chemical communication, and it's also the same organ they use when they're

sniffing around the popular pee tree at the dog park.

What's even weirder about all of this is that humans have the same sort of glands that dogs

do — they're just located in a different region of our bodies.

That explains why your dog introduces himself to your friends pals by getting a few good

whiffs of their crotches.

"Anybody comes to visit you, the first thing that dog does is take his nose and put it

*click* right in their crotch.

Ooooh!"

It may seem a little...overly friendly.

But it's just their way of scoping out the situation with whoever you're bringing home.

"He smells my dog!"

How many words do they understand?

The short answer to this question is, "More than you think."

The long answer is a bit complicated.

Researchers have found that it depends on a lot of things, from training and a dog's

intelligence, to the dog's breed and how they're spoken to.

Right now, the record-holder for the most known words is Chaser, a border collie from

South Carolina, who knows over a thousand words.

Chaser's owner spent a huge amount of time teaching her not only the different names

for things, but different actions.

Chaser has shown the ability to join verbs and nouns together to perform particular tasks,

and she can even use the process of elimination to select toys that she hadn't been taught

the name of.

But, y'know, don't start filling out college applications for Professor Bones-a-lot.

Your dog's still pretty stupid by human standards.

Most dogs have a vocabulary roughy equalling that of a two-year-old.

An "average" dog understands about 165 words and phrases.

On the other hand, that's actually kind of impressive, considering only a few people

can even tell the difference been an arf and a woof.

"What?

Four clowns?

The car's broken down?

They're in trouble?!"

"Man that dog is not talking to you."

Right-pawed or left-pawed?

Just like humans, dogs can be either right-handed or left-handed.

Unlike humans, there's an equal chance of your dog being either right- or left-paw dominant,

or ambidextrous.

There are a few different ways you can test to see which paws your pup prefers, and that

just involves paying attention to which paw it uses to do things like give high-fives

and steady toys.

Or which side of the batter's box he plays in:

"Batter up!"

Humans have always had a sort of bias against the left-handed — and weirdly, researchers

have found that the bias might be alive and well in dogs too.

They found that left-pawed dogs tend to be more wary, or even aggressive, toward strangers.

Interestingly, most guide and service dogs are right-pawed or ambidextrous, as many left-pawed

dogs are weeded out because of temperament.

"Hey.

Talk to the paw."

There also seems to be a connection between how dominant your dog's paw preference is

and how brave they are.

Ambidextrous doggos tended to be more anxious, while dogs with a strong preference to a dominant

paw were quicker to adjust to new situations and less easily rattled.

"Hey, that is the bird.

I have never seen one up close, but this is the bird.

May I take your bird back to camp, as my prisoner?"

Why do dogs tilt their heads?

Make a funny noise from across the room, and keep your eye on your dog's reaction:

"You go.

And he goes..."

So...why do they do that?

Well, dogs' emotional intelligence is pretty high.

So, they could be tilting their heads to look for that positive response they usually get

from you when they do it.

But there's probably even more to it than that.

Depending on the shape of your dog's head, they may also be able to improve their ability

to pinpoint the location of a noise if they adjust the position of their ears, clearing

their line of sight at the same time.

Studies have shown that dogs with longer muzzles tend to do this more often, so it's likely

there's some kind of physical, sensory benefit they're getting from it.

Yet another theory suggests that they're just concentrating particularly hard, trying to

read what you're communicating to them and seeing what words they recognize.

They're looking and listening for social cues to figure how they're going to react, and

waiting to see if you're going to say something they like, like "let's go for a walk" or "how

about a treat?"

In other words, if you see your doggie tilting her head, hop to.

It's probably waiting for some love and attention.

Just, y'know...don't go overboard:

"And now!

This could be it!

"Buddy!"

Why Are We Here? Introduction to Episode 2 - Duration: 3:57.

We are in fact capable of having these huge realisations,

ones that actually overwhelm us,

and make us feel that we are understanding something

that we perhaps shouldn't.

That we shouldn't go there.

This idea of, you know, where angels fear to tread.

In a material world, true knowledge can come from the things we can see, hear and touch,

because these are what scientists can measure and sometimes turn into beautiful truths.

The more I thought about how it comes to be that our perception of the

world at a deep level matches our perception of beauty.

It's a puzzle, it poses a deep mystery.

But are there other truths we can discover which come from pure thought or imagination?

Discovering mathematics is messy, you know, like making love, it's messy,

as new mathematics always is.

And then moments like that you say, well, it wasn't me, I didn't discover this.

This idea exists out there independently of me,

and maybe it wanted to use me to express itself.

Would these ideas also be real and true,

or would they be just figments of our imagination?

We have no instrument by which to record the absolute nature of reality because

whatever instrument that is will at some point be filtered through the lens of consciousness, of us.

Professor Ard Louis is an Oxford physicist who believes that reality is rational

and mechanical and whose rules are ultimately scientific and mathematical.

But he also believes that there are truths that are not part of the material world.

Truths placed there by God.

A god who wants us to know those truths.

Like Professor Louis, film-maker David Malone also feels that some truths are more than just human inventions

But as a non-believer, the idea of a god who somehow put those truths in the world so we

would know them just makes no sense to him.

Together they are on a journey to reconcile their intuitions about truth and meaning

and perhaps even God... to life in a material world.

More than any other animal, human beings shape the objects and the world we live in.

Not just the physical, the things made by our hands, but those made by our minds as well.

And these objects and ideas then shape us in return.

But are the only truths those which science can prove?

For Professor Louis the answer is absolutely not.

Not because of his belief in God but because of his study of mathematics.
