Camino catalán, 4ª parte: Berbegal - Huesca - Duration: 21:19.

One last time I can enjoy the view through the kitchen window that leads to the Pyrenees

and therefore to the east.

Before me, I have a stage of 29 kilometers

and it seems to become another beautiful day. We'll see.

Another day on the way.

Having a smartphone on the camino is quite stressful.

I'm writing almost all the time I spent at the albergues.

I cannot write my diary any longer,

alas, I cannot sleep anymore...

All this reminds me slightly of the first days with Internet at home about twenty years ago,

I never would have thought that such a small device could cause such an enormous effect.

Suddenly there are several fighters in the sky that I wonder if the third world war has broken out.

I hope they do not take me as a target to eliminate since I am communicating a lot with a girl from Minsk lately.

Why is it not possible that she comes from a member country of NATO?

I'm on my way.

It's very sunny, but it's on asphalt again,

something I do not like too much as you already know.

The bar in Pertusa is closed so I have to keep walking as always.

The bridge seen in the background is not a viaduct of a motorway, but another aqueduct for a canal.

It is a quite varied stage, but unfortunately you have to tread a lot of asphalt

and it is what I like least about it.

The good thing is that there are amazing panoramic views.

This way leads to the road.

And this one does not.

The Roman way.

And according to the guide it is on the right.

But I have not seen any yellow arrows.

Here it is.

It is almost five o'clock when I arrive at Pueyo de Fananas.

There is no WiFi at the albergue.

I do not know if Anna has answered my last email,

she will think that I do not want to communicate with her anymore.

I have all evening before me and I do not know what to do.

It seems that I am already addicted to the smartphone.

At last I can write my diary.

In fact, it has not happened too much over the last few days,

but I've seen a lot of things, I'm saturated with new impressions.

Today's stage will take me to Huesca, the capital of this Aragonese province,

it will be about seventeen and a half kilometers long

and it is assumed that by arriving early one has more time to visit the city.

But first I have to go through Fananas whose church of San Juan Bautista could already be seen from a distance.

As if there lived ghosts on this abandoned farm.

Again it is a stage that I like very much,

there is little asphalt and it is rich in impressions,

and now one has to go descend to the Hoya de Huesca, a plain.

According to the guide the camino shares the Route of the trenches,

excavated during the Spanish Civil War when Huesca was still in the hands of Republicans

and Franco's coup army was approaching from Zaragoza.

You can also see very well the ruin of Montearagon Castle in front of the Pyrenees.

Let's go down!

Well, it has been a descent for mountain climber pilgrims like my friend Alberto.

And where were the trenches? I haven't seen any of them.

I did not recognize any trenches during the descent,

but I had to concentrate on my steps because it was a rather steep descent.

Fortunately there is another very special thing here, the round house

that has the shape of an igloo and was built to serve as a vineyard guard shelter and toll booth for the cattle and sheep track.

By its peculiar form one could not see from the outside whether there were guards in the house or not,

and nobody dared to approach the vines to steal grapes.

During the civil war it was occupied by militiamen of the POUM,

of the Workers' Party of Marxist Unification.

For one kilometer the camino follows the banks of the river Flumen, and is a stretch that I love.

I think I see a beaver in the water of the river, even though it is only a strong branch of a tree,

and in the sky I presume to see an eagle.

An eagle [?] directly above me,

I have only noticed it by its shadow,

but it is quite difficult to capture a raptor with the backpack and everything,

so suddenly and in a hurry...

Each stage has its charm,

but today's stage has many charms.

Huesca is a big town, and as always in big towns or even cities it is a bit complicated to find the places where you want to go.

And to find the yellow arrows above all.

Finding the pilgrim albergue in Huesca turns out to be quite difficult again.

I followed the yellow arrows, but they lead you to the centre of the city, and the albergue is situated in the eastern outskirts.

Fortunately, a man helps me by searching the street with his smartphone,

and he tells me the way very exactly afterwards.

The albergue is very nice and offers all the imaginable comfort,

but it has neither the view nor the charm of the albergue in Berbegal.

But there is even a very strong WiFi signal.

According to the legend Saint Lawrence was born in Huesca, the ancient Osca,

about 33 years before he became a martyr in Rome where he was burned alive on a grill.

Of course, I visit the basilica of San Lorenzo, but it is baroque.

Much better I like the church of San Pedro el Viejo which is Romanesque.

The cathedral is already closed.

Trump's Tweets Set to Cost $960 Million - Duration: 3:45.

Today, Trump needs to check his math, more and more Texans are coming out against an

anti-trans bill, and a school board president is in major hot water after some anti-LGBTQ

remarks.

Hey y'all!

It's Thursday, I'm Allison Turner and this is Daily Equality!

In how many ways can we prove to Trump that his tweeted trans military ban is terrible?

The limit does not exist.

The limit does not exist!

Someone needs to get Trump a calculator because the cost of implementing his trans military

ban would cost… yeah, a hundred times more than providing health care for trans troops.

According to a report by the Palm Center, his tweeted pledge to discharge transgender

troops would cost $960 million, whereas providing healthcare for transgender troops only costs

about 8.4 million dollars.

Alright, so I went to HRC's basement, and I literally found a full bucket of calculators.

So, Trump: literally you can take your pick of which one you want.

More and more groups are coming out to oppose Texas' SB3.

Women business and community leaders rallied this week at the Texas Capitol to oppose the

anti-transgender legislation currently being considered during the state's special session.

And yesterday, the Women's Sports Foundation, TransAthlete, and HRC sent a letter to Texas

legislators calling out SB3 for its roots in discriminatory gender-based stereotypes

when it comes to transgender women and girls participating in women's sports.

But wait, there's more!

The Texas Impact Coalition, a statewide interfaith group, has created a PSA against SB3.

I'm a mom, a Christian, and a conservative Republican.

The bathroom bills being debated in the legislature run counter to the values that I hold dear.

As the mom of a transgender child, I'm urging our leaders to protect my daughter and oppose

these harmful bills.

And the Dallas Stars hockey team became the first professional sports franchise to speak

out against SB3.

Now, I don't know anything about hockey other than what I learned from Mighty Ducks,

but I do know that it is rad of them to speak out.

Ducks fly together!

Recently, the Fresno School Board President Brooke Ashjian made anti-LGBTQ remarks regarding

California's LGBTQ-inclusive comprehensive sex education laws.

Ashjian is quoted as saying, You have kids who are extremely moldable at this stage,

and if you start telling them that LGBT is okay and that it's a way of life, well,

maybe you just swayed the kid to go that way.

Mmm, I'm not so sure about that, Mr. Ashjian.

In a recent meeting that got super heated, Ashjian refused to let other members of the

school board discuss his discriminatory remarks.

(simultaneously) To those who are clearly deeply offended by

the comments that were made, I would like the community to know that this is not the

view of the board.

We are gonna have order, Member De La Cerda.

Member De La Cerda, I will, I will stop the meeting if you'd like!

I can stop the meeting if you'd like, and we can come back once you…

You're more—

While the school district issued a statement of inclusion, many are saying that the statement

is not enough.

And now it's time for Thankful Thursday!

Today, we're thankful for a community in Ontario that showed up for a family after

their home was vandalized with disturbing anti-gay messages.

Brett Alford-Jones and his husband Paul saw a homophobic threat spray-painted on their

home.

Something like this then just gets through and hits you in the core of who you are.

But thankfully, they were met with an outpouring of support from their neighbors and friends,

who have been working in shifts to watch the family's property day and night.

So thank you, people of Ontario.

Thanks, y'all!

God, are you there?

It's me, Margaret.

Beautiful Cut - Hans-Peter Krebs - Duration: 2:38.

Yes, it's my job to make it look very nice.

Like a golf green or something, so everyone who visits are very happy with how nice it looks.

My name is Hans-Peter Krebs

I am working here as a lifeguard at the swimming pool in Pfäffikon, Zurich.

It is here on lake Pfäffikersee and we have lots of green space.

Some pools, the staff will maintain everything,

and others will use outside contractors.

The problem with contractors is they are always in a rush to move to the next job.

We have to maintain a look that is very good.

This is the first time, the four years that I am here, to work with the Walker

At other jobs I have used mid-mounts, not like the Out Front Deck of the Walker.

Yeah, this is my first time.

The good thing,

I can do it all with the Walker. Trimming around trees and special places.

I only have two or three places I need to use a trimmer.

Otherwise, I can do it all with the Walker.

When we have a busy weekend, with up to 4,000 guests

You'll see no grass.

The day after, you can see all the places where people were on their towels

The grass is yellow there.

You can see where they were walking

and all the trash is on the ground.

All this we can clean up on Monday, after the big weekend, with the Walker.

Yes, the people always comment on how nice the property looks.

They want to know how we do it.

They want me to come to their house to make it look as nice.

Everyone loves how beautiful the lawns look here.

Answer the Public with Keywords Everywhere - Duration: 3:55.

hi friends if you're ever struggling to find topics for your blog posts or ideas

let me introduce you to answer the public this is a really cute site you

see the guy there looking around for answers searching it looks like he's got

writer's block doesn't he either that or he's waiting for the bus anywho with

this site let me show you how easy it is to use you just get your topic now I'm

going to use video marketing and you're going to change the country to whatever

country that you live in or where you want to find those answers and the site

brings back a host of blog post ideas for you so let's just see what we've

come up with alright first it gives you I love this carousel look here it gives

you the what the when the how who and all that and it adds that to your topic

title so for example why is video content marketing appropriate why video

is good for marketing what is online video marketing so you'll notice there

that these little pop-ups also show the cost per click and the competition

search volume for those words now stay tuned I'm going to show you a special

add-on that I use in order to make that information appear so the next carousel

I want to show you is about prepositions so it adds a preposition to your phrase

so with two versus four let's look at verses so it's video marketing versus

advertising so now here is where those keywords come into play in order for me

to get this information I need and a special tool and it's called keywords

everywhere now this is another extension for Chrome that I have an

see monthly search volume and cause per click for every search and it adds those

to answer the public at the bottom of the page you'll see the alphabetical

listing for all the results that answer the public has returned but then you'll

see also those cost per click let me make that bigger so for example video

marketing software it's bringing in up to $13 and 86 cents cost per click

video marketing agency $8.98 video marketing companies $12.38 so you'll see

that the combination of these tools together will help you determine what

topics you want to cover on your blog post on your social media post you may

want to also include these as keywords when you're doing your YouTube videos

you want to make sure that you're using those examples that you find here you

can also combine this data with Google Trends plug these words over into the

Google trends map and see if you get even more ideas so with that thank you so

much for your patronage here on patreon if you haven't become a patron yet just

go ahead and sign up you can start off at the $5 a month membership

subscription level and with that I want you to have a wonderful day and I look

forward to reading and sharing your content bye for now

Reasons you can't lose fat or get a six pack - Duration: 5:05.

hey guys it's Kevin Kreider more than just muscle these are the main reasons

why you will never get a six-pack and let me just disclose this it doesn't

mean you won't ever get a six-pack but these are the main reasons why most

people never get a six-pack one is that you don't have strong enough reasons

your reasons don't support your actions we do things for emotional reasons the

reason why we do things is to either go towards pain I mean go away from pain or

towards pleasure and your reason is just not strong enough there half-ass your

reasons or your emotional juice it's your why why do you want to have a

six-pack if you don't know why when the times get hard your reasons and your

emotions won't actually fuel you to get that six-pack of your dreams and you

need to know why and be very specific with it people get very generalized in

this number two your nutrition is off you think that just because you worked

out five six times a week I eat really healthy eating really healthy doesn't

mean you're going to lose body fat I see plenty of people who go shop that

organic food stores and Trader Joe's and Whole Foods all the time and they're out

of shape what a surprise focus on your nutrition guys so number three is they

workout too much there's not a positive protein turnover where you break down

muscle and rest to recover and repair muscle tissue and that builds muscle and

you get over and Austin your central nervous system gets exhausted and you

just can't recover from that and you end up eating because you want to feel

better and get that energy one the next reason is you're looking for a quick fix

guys our bodies aren't an Amazon one click wonder you don't just click

six-pack and all of a sudden it just appears but that's what we expect and

all these marketing companies they'll say hey 21 day fix 30 day 2 six-pack all

that crap it's not true it really won't happen and let's just say you are one of

those lucky people that it happens you will rebound you

mein aana body-fat back and you might even gain more and the problem of

gaining more than is once you gain more fat cells it's called hyperplasia they

don't go away they only go down inside so every time you go up and down and all

these weights and your body fat you just keep getting more body fat cells and

that's not good either you believe that all you can do is do add exercise and

you'll get a 6-pack oh my god where do you live the next one is you believe

that supplements are the reason why you don't have a 6-pack supplements are

there for a reason they're there to supplement help you up they are not the

way the next reason is that you believe your friend is your accountability

partner and trainer deep down inside you believe they're your trainer the problem

with an accountability partner is especially in fact the same level as you

is that you guys will slide you will let each other slide because you don't know

what it's like or what it takes to actually get there another reason is you

get everything for free we all know that we don't appreciate anything that we get

for free we take it for granted and we're blessed likely to actually execute

and take that into account I'm guilty of that too anything that I give Fred

barely look at it and I barely take action on it things that I pay for you

bet your ass I'm going to get my money's worth so I'm going to do it the next

thing is and this one drives me crazy you eat all day long you eat too

frequently you don't give your body a chance to actually rest and recover from

digesting your eating food I see people all the time they'll just keep snacking

all that well I don't eat that much and too much because it's just meals and I

just keep eating frequently well the problem is you're then teaching your

body to always have food and to be frequently eating and to be insolent

resistance not insulin sensitive and then you don't release growth hormone

and epinephrine norepinephrine okay I'm too so hungry under anger there's an

adjustment period you trained your body to be like that so of course it's going

to be a little bit out of whack if you start not eating for a little bit and

giving god forbid fasting a little bit to give your body a rest

another reason is you don't execute a strategy

that works you execute your own strategy and where has it gotten you so far not

very far so execute a strategy that works and follow it alright guys I hope

you could get something from that and if any of these are you you're not alone I

used to be that way too so that I know Decker where you're coming from and

another thing is too if you want to execute a strategy that's proven to work

take the free body design tool it's a survey it will guide you to a right

customized virtual training program for you it's a muscle and strength program

that I've custom designed based off of the goals if you want to lose body fat

or gain muscle at home different levels to beginners more advanced and also -

please subscribe to my youtube channel and I'll see you guys next week

YouTube Watch Time Woes for VGM Cover Musicians with subversiveasset - Duration: 14:36.

If you aren't already aware, YouTube prioritizes watch time

meaning

YouTube wants to keep people on the site for as long as possible.

So, there's a few ways that you can try to do this systematically:

one is to create videos that are certain length that people will watch a certain

percentage of. So, if you have certain video length times a certain average

view percentage watched then, that will lead to a certain amount of watch time.

Another thing would be to have -- if you can't produce videos that that are that

long, then you produce shorter videos more frequently, and so as those short

videos get watched and you're producing more of them,

that watch time accumulates that way.

A third possibility would be to have shorter videos -- or even longer

videos -- however you want that maybe you can't release them as often as you'd

like, but then you can get more people to watch them, so even though it's a shorter

video, there's more views on it so video length times average percentage watch

times views will lead to accumulated watch time.

So one of those three things

is probably what every person is going to want to do to have a successful channel.

A lot of you guys watching and listening to this channel are fellow

video game musicians, but whether you are a musician or you just enjoy

listening to music, something you might realize is that out of all those

scenarios that I've described, each of those scenarios is kind of stacked

against us.

Making a cover song is kind of difficult so it's not like

someone can just make a cover song longer -- that takes time to arrange

and because it's difficult, it's not like people can just make more of them

I think that there are

some people who kind of do it as a once-a-week thing but even there there's

a lot of people are saying they used to be able to do it once a week and now

they're moving to once every other week that sort of thing

and a lot of people are more sporadic than that.

But...

then there's that third thing where

maybe we can't release that many videos and the videos can't be a

certain length but we can try to achieve a certain view count on each of those videos.

The problem is that even with cover music there has to be some kind of

way to get people to watch, and that is actually surprisingly difficult.

This is something that I have been trying to figure out my entire YouTube career:

how to drive demand for cover songs...and I haven't been able to figure it out it

seems to me that even though a lot of us would like to think that there's a wide

group of people who have this nostalgia for old video game music that we can

cover these great SNES era or earlier or you know even later pieces and that the

the audiences will just come to them, but I just don't know if that actually bears

out in a lot of ways, so one way of driving traffic to youtube videos is by

targeting youtube search but then you have to think about what are the terms

that people are searching for and I'm just not sure if people are searching for

specific songs from older games, and if they are, I'm not sure if anyone's

explicitly looking for a cover song instead of say like getting the original

soundtrack version, so by covering older games or more obscure game that's kind

of a limitation on search

And even though there are nominally communities

to discuss these games that there's the same issue of where there are just fewer

people on any given fan site discussing an older game than a newer game

So, for example, Chrono Trigger probably one of the best soundtracks of video

game history...I mean I don't think it's hyperbolic to say that...its reddit

community is pretty small overall so even if one wanted to get traffic from a

dedicated Chrono Trigger-loving fanbase I mean it's not really going to happen

there's not a lot of traffic there.

But then that leads to the other thing where

even if you find a perfect fan community, fan communities are kind of smart in

that they can tell when people are self promoting and they don't like it so for

the most part they ignore it or they will down vote it, and so there's this

kind of tension where we put this effort into each cover -- it's not just something

that we can do, and it's not...it's not low quality -- it's something that we've put

time into, it's our craft. And yet we can't even get people to

click because they don't want to click on any videos.

You post a photo...you

post a picture that you may or may not have done...you may or may not have

attributed to the actual artist and that will get up votes and comments and whatnot

but as soon as it's a video, it's just not going to happen so even targeting

these reddit communities doesn't seem to be a sure way of getting that traffic so

I've been trying to think and I and I understand that my strategy isn't really

I guess sound so to speak -- my last two covers have been from FEZ, which

apparently I should have realized is just completely suboptimal in terms of

all the factors that I've just discussed. So...it's an

older game; there's not a lot of people currently discussing it; it's not really

getting a whole lot of search traffic; it's probably not something that a whole

lot of people have as, you know, a critical part of

their I guess gaming history so it's not something that they're going to go back

and say hey I want to listen to a song from here.

but then I'm thinking about

other ways of choosing songs and it just those other ways haven't necessarily

made a whole lot of sense so for example I can say absolutely that my most

popular covers are from Undertale so that would lead to a hypothesis that you

want to cover a game that is a new and exciting and popular when it comes out

and that's kind of what I did but then I tried doing similar things with other

games like Final Fantasy 15 I have a couple of covers and even though that

did get a decent amount of traffic it wasn't a whole lot of traffic.

So...

it doesn't seem like just chasing after the most popular new game titles is

necessarily the way to build up that traffic base.

And then the thing that

really gets me is that different channels can perform covers from the

same game and get different levels of traffic and different levels of in terms

of how many subscribers they get or things like that and I know that part of

it is quality...like, I'd like to think that maybe it's just the people are

getting the most traffic are the best quality and the people who aren't are

not but I've seen some...not as good...quality YouTube videos that have somehow

you know, gotten up there so I don't know if there's necessarily one-to-one ratio

of quality to views, quality to watch time, that sort of thing

and it seems as well that some of the difference can be explained by well some people already

already have established fan bases and that makes sense: if you already have your

subscribers and they're going to watch or listen to anything that you do then

that that will help in the algorithm to you know keep things going

There's big talk these days about view velocity which is the idea that the quicker and

the more watch time a video can get in the first 24...72 hours...to a week that

will kind of determine how it performs over the rest of its life

no pressure, guys!

But it seems to me that even if I compare between youtubers of similar

channel sizes, similar subscriber bases, that there are still a difference in the

growth rate and I can't I can't quite figure out why that is. I don't want to

name names because the people who I have in my comparison group they're really

great musicians and I wish them the best of success but I know some people who

they release very infrequently maybe once a month or less and they may have

had...they certainly have fewer videos than I do

they started out with fewer subscribers and yet they are now ahead of me and I I

just I wish them the best success but kind of makes you want to

give up on it all and I know that's not the right answer the right answer is I

should be focusing on myself; I should be focusing on just kind of working at it

and kind of figuring out where the trends are and figuring out how I can combine

my own personal taste in completely obscure music that no one has ever heard

of with more conventional taste of games and music that people have actually

heard of to kind of come up with more things that people actually are

searching for or actually willing to listen to.

But...

I don't I don't know if

that's going to happen anytime soon, and as I mentioned I'm not going to be

producing videos, like music videos, any faster than I have been so it seems to

me that I happen to expand my channel by producing content of a different type

I've experimented with this on this channel before and I've actually found

some very interesting data from it. So every once in a while I'll do a longer

video that's not necessarily a music video but it's either something about

YouTube, something about reddit, something about the music creation process

something like that, and what I found is even though those videos don't get a lot

of views, they still blow my music videos out of the water in terms of watch time

because hey if you have a...if you have a 10 minute video and people are only

watching say 30% of that that's 3 minutes watch time whereas if you have a

2 or 3 minutes song and people are watching 50% of that

that's one to one and a half minutes like you can't beat that and even if...you

would need to get a lot more views on the music videos to match the extra

watch time on the long videos. But what I'm thinking is of doing more videos

about this process that has been going through, so all the things that I've learned

about YouTube analytics and how to use that to kind of assess your channel, all

the things I've learned about watch time and trying to promote on other platforms

because I'm a huge big fat nerd in particular for musicians I want to do a

series -- this is going to happen -- I just need to write it out and get everything

lined up with all my collaborators: a series on copyright and YouTube,

There's a lot of confusion regarding copyright and YouTube in the music space,

a lot of confusion regarding Content ID, a lot of confusion regarding what's fair use

what's transformative -- that sort of thing -- and I feel that for a musician

specifically this is something that we really need to know so I want to team up

with a lot of people I know that Carlos at insaneintherainmusic is very

interested in doing something; Sebastian Wolff of Materia Collective is really

interested in it; I'm pretty sure that Soundrop even tweeted that they would

do something with it...What I want to know primarily is does any of that seem

interesting? if you've actually paid attention throughout this entire video

thank you so much, and for any fellow musicians let's just try to talk through

what's working for you, what's not working for you, what are things that

you've learned, what are things that you struggle with because I know that I'm

not the only person that's in this boat because I know that I am actually pretty

fortunate and I actually have a pretty good number of subscribers and that

there are musicians who are way better than me who do not yet have the traction

that I have and so there's some...there's there's definitely this discoverability

problem that we all need to be working through together

So I just wanted to

kind of put those thoughts out there and I hope to hear from you soon

Arsenal Transfer News: Vasquez bid made claim, Ox keen on Chelsea, Giroud to Marseille off - Duration: 2:31.

Arsenal Transfer News: Vasquez bid made claim, Ox keen on Chelsea, Giroud to Marseille off

Arsenal have reportedly made a bid for Real Madrid forward Lucas Vasquez. Vasquez is happy with his life in Spain but the 26-year-old is concerned about his role in Zinedine Zidane's plans this season.

And Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim that has made him a man in demand. It is said Arsenal, Liverpool and Roma have all launched offers for the Spain international.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is attracted by the idea of moving to Chelsea this summer. Starsport revealed today that the Blues have launched a £35m move for the versatile Arsenal ace.

The England midfielder is in the final year of his current Gunners contract and is after a bumper pay rise to take his weekly wage over the £120,000-a-week mark.

Chelsea would be willing to offer Oxlade-Chamberlain terms close to that amount unlike Arsenal and he would also be playing Champions League football with Antonio Conte's side.

These two main factors have led the 23-year-old to seriously consider a stunning move to Stamford Bridge before the end of the transfer window.

Marseille boss Rudi Garcia has admitted defeat in his pursuit of Arsenal star Olivier Giroud. The Gunners striker has been linked with a move back to his homeland for several months.

But Garcia told LEquipe: I think [Giroud] does not want to come to Marseille.

The problem is that. Giroud scored the decisive penalty in Arsenal's Community Shield win over Chelsea last weekend but will likely be on the bench for tomorrow's Premier League opener against Leicester.

Puppy biting and nipping + solutions - Duration: 5:57.

in this video I'm going to talk about puppy biting and how to solve your

puppy's biting and nipping issues hello dog lovers my name is Saro I'm a dog

trainer and also coach dog owners if this is your first time here and you

want to become an educated dog lover make sure to subscribe to my channel and

hit the bell icon button so you won't miss anything

puppy biting is one of the issues that is very frequent and it's very common in

puppies and most dog owners are complaining and have a lot of questions

around puppy biting and nipping issues it is very natural and normal by the way

do you have a puppy who is nipping and biting your hands and arms and you have

all kinds of bruises on your arms and legs let me know leave your comment in

the comments area below I'd love to read them and if you have any questions leave

them in the comments area as well so I can address them in my future videos

there are two reasons two main reasons why puppies bite or nip one reason is

because there's teething so when they are teething

Their gums are kind of itchy and feels funny

and they need to kind of scratch it so the way they deal with it is by chewing

and biting things and that kind of soothes it and helps them to relax and

get over that sensation so to solve this issue of teething what you want to do I

suggest you to invest in about twenty different kinds and sizes and taste and

colors and shapes of chew toys hard chew toys and you get them and you just

place them all over the house and let them have it anytime accessible to the

puppy so as soon as they feel the sensation they can pick one up and work

on it now if your puppy is obsessed to work you

and arms or legs then you need to have those chew toys around so as soon as they

focus on working on your arms or legs or or you or any human being in the house

then you just stop them and give them the chew toy one of the chew toys that

you have all over the house the other reason the second reason why puppies bite or nip

is what we call bite inhibition they do this among their own kinds among

dogs and this is kind of a play form that testing each other than learning

from each other so most puppies they do this play format of chewing each other

biting each other this is normal among themselves but it becomes a problem when

the puppy plays and practices with humans it's a good time to teach them

the difference between a human and a dog so what you want to do is you want to

kind of stop the game as soon as they start playing with you and offer them a

chew toy the other solution that you can help your puppy to deal with this

problem is offer them the opportunity to play with other puppies or other dogs

let them practice and experiences this with other puppies or other dogs but not

humans if your puppy is focused on you being obsessed with work on you that's the

sign that you need to focus on providing your puppy mental and physical

stimulation if you provide enough mental and physical stimulation for your puppy

your puppy is going to have a less energy to practice and focus on you and

something that is not wanted the other mistake that most puppy owners make is

they play with the puppy in a way that the puppy can't distinguish the difference

between playing with you and puppies so you don't want to play the way a

poppy would play with a puppy you want to play with maybe tug toys or chew

toys rather than getting involved physically and you know offering your hand or arm

or leg to your puppy unfortunately for that time that your puppy is teething

it's not a good idea to play with your dog I highly suggest to focus on your

puppies five essential needs and what are those five essential needs I'll link

the videos that I explain about your dogs five essential needs right here go

ahead and watch it the last thing is don't punish your puppy when they do

something like that try to manage if your puppy is getting involved with

chewing or biting you it's time to manage your puppy just make sure that

you have the chew toys around you have provided mental and physical stimulation

for your puppy you have done all your parts that you have to do in order to

raise a puppy so there is no excuse for your puppy to

focus on you and chewing and biting you if your puppy is chewing and biting you

in a way it's kind of a signal that you haven't done your part you have any

questions about dogs dog training dog psychology anything to do with dogs

leave those questions in the comment area and I'll address them in my future

videos if you liked this video give it a thumbs up share and comment and if you

want to become an educated dog lover make sure to subscribe and I'll see you

next time until next time have fun with your dog.

INGLÊS NO RESTAURANTE E AS MAIORES ÁRVORES DO MUNDO | English Vlog #2 - Duration: 10:10.

So I'm at this diner... a diner is a kind of restaurant, but they serve breakfast all day long, you know...

So, this is a type of breakfast. It's potatoes with chicken and tomatoes, and cheese...

But actually I'm having lunch here, because it's too much for me for breakfast, you know...

I think most Brazilians don't eat real food in the morning, so I'm having lunch here.

And here's something... a kind of vocabulary that I wanna teach you.

It says here "thirst quenchers", and it means "coisas que te matam a sede".

So I didn't finish my food because actually everything is very big here,

so very soon the waiter is going to come here to my table and he's gonna ask me:

Would you like a box?

So you can pack your food and take it home. You don't need to be shy, it's very common here.

So, that's what I'm gonna do!

Can I have a stack of three pancakes?

hum... buttermilk pancakes... yes, with blueberry compote on top.

Ok, of course.

We're going to split the pancake, so...

Ok, of course.

So I ordered this one with blueberries on top, and this is maple syrup.

Homework for you, you have to google what maple means in Portuguese.

So let's put a little bit on top...

So if you also wanna visit this place, it's called Hobee's, and it's in Sunnyvale (CA)

And here's something interesting about ordering things in a restaurant.

You don't say I WANT something, you say CAN I HAVE A BOTTLE OF WATER, for example.

You don't say I WANT a bottle of water, because it's very rude, ok?

Another thing about restaurants in the United States is that the waiter usually brings the check...

before you ask him to do this.

But it doesn't mean that he wants you to leave the place, I think they just wanna be quick,

and they wanna be efficient, right? So you don't need to be angry with this.

Did you see that? It's NASA, baby!

Can you imagine the brains that you have in that place, hum?

Now I'm at Facebook headquarters.

Guys, today is Sunday and I'm in a real forest!

So, ladies and gentlemen...

See hum... pinto tree behind me is a coastal redwood.

A couple of things that make a coastal redwood rare.

First and foremost, there is one and only one place in the world...

where you will see a coastal redwood in his natural habitat.

And that's here on the west coast of the United States.

What are those things right there?

It's tentacles!

They have four tentacles and the top two are for sensing light and dark

So they can't only see color like we can, they can only see like different shades of brightness...

and then the bottom two are for tasting and smelling.

These trees are called "redwoods", but the scientific name is sequoia.

So, as you could see unfortunately I didn't have the best view of the bridge yesterday,

so I don't have the best picture, or the best video by the bridge... but it's all in my mind.

California is an amazing place, I would definitely live here, because the weather is fine,

people are great and everything was fine.

The only problem is that I lost my glasses, my prescription glasses.

So, actually I can't see a lot here, I'm at the airport and I can't even read what I have to read, but...
