vívosmart 4: Pairing and Syncing Your Device - Duration: 3:11.

Your vívosmart 4 comes loaded with fitness and wellness

monitoring features to help you track your daily activity with style.

In this video, we'll walk you through the process of setting up your new activity tracker out of the box

so you can start using it.

For starters, you'll need to plug in the vívosmart 4 to set it up.

Just align the pins on the included charging cable to the ports on the back of the device

and firmly clip the charger on. Then plug it in to charge.

You'll know it's connected if you see the display turn on.

Now, if you've never installed the Garmin Connect Mobile app before,

go to the app store on your smartphone and download it.

Once the app finishes installing, open it up and set up an account.

You'll enter your email address, some basic information about you,

and you can even select a profile image.

Once that's done, the app will automatically scan for devices in your area that are ready to pair,

and will begin the process.

If your Bluetooth® is off, the app will ask you to turn it on.

Don't worry, vívosmart 4 uses Bluetooth Low Energy or BLE,

so it won't drain your phone's battery.

To make best use of the device, keep Bluetooth on full time.

If you already have Garmin Connect Mobile,

because you've used another Garmin device, you won't need to install it again.

But we recommend you make sure it is up to date by going to the app store

to see if there are any updates available.

Older versions of the app may not be compatible with the device,

so be sure to keep it updated.

Once you're sure it's up to date, open it up.

You may need to sign in if it's been a while.

Once you're signed in, iPhone users should click the "More" button

in the lower right corner of the My Day page to open up the main menu.

Android users should click the slide-out menu button

in the upper left to open the main menu.

From there, scroll down and tap "Garmin Devices",

and then tap "Add Device".

The app will begin searching for devices in the area, and should find your vívosmart 4.

To complete the pairing, enter the six-digit code that is displayed on the device.

After pairing is complete, the app will walk you through a series of customisation options

such as selecting sleep times, wake times and watch faces,

and will even walk you through some guided tutorials such as how to start a timed activity.

You can always go back to "Garmin Devices" later,

if you decide you want to change any of your custom settings.

Remember to check the app frequently.

This ensures that your data is being stored in a timely manner

and that your device stays up to date with the latest software.

Each time you open the app, it will try to perform a sync with your device.

When the device is syncing with the app,

you will see this symbol in the upper right corner of the app.

Stay within 10 feet of your phone while this process completes.

You'll also need to sync after any settings are changed in the app,

so you can apply them to your device.

When life gets stressful, your vívosmart 4 activity tracker

has a feature that can help you calm down and relax.

In this video, you'll see how to use the relaxation timer

to control your breathing, which can help reduce stress.

All-day stress tracking on your vívosmart 4 automatically measures

your heart rate variability to calculate and display your body's current stress level.

You can view this stress number on your Stress widget

anytime you're sitting or at rest.

The stress level range is from 0 to 100,

with 0 to 25 showing a resting state,

26 to 75 indicating a low-to-medium stress range,

and 76 to 100 representing a high stress state.

If you notice you're at a high level for a while,

it might be a good idea to take a short break to relax.

Just swipe up from the home screen to find the Stress widget,

then tap the screen to access the Relax Timer.

You'll see a checkmark, which you can tap to start the guided breathe timer.

For an added level of stress awareness, there's also an optional

"Relax Reminder" feature that you can turn on in the Garmin Connect mobile app.

This will enable your vívosmart 4 to provide vibration alerts

when it senses you've reached a higher than normal stress level for an extended time.

It will invite you to use the relaxation timer.

Just tap the checkmark to begin.

You'll see this icon appear on the display with a series of four open dots beneath it.

The dots will fill in solid, then open in sequence,

to show you how long you should breathe in and breathe out as you relax.

A vibration will also cue you when it's time to breathe in, hold or breathe out.

Follow the breathing prompts on the device until the timer runs out.

Your updated stress level number appears when the relaxation timer ends.

By then, hopefully, your stress level is lowered

and you can return to your day more calmly.

You can repeat the exercise whenever you still feel stressed

or want a moment of relaxation.

Wednesday I put out a new video and my channel's purpose is this is to help

want to talk to you today about passionately pursuing God my family and

I we went to New York this summer and we had the best time just making memories

and doing all kinds of fun stuff and one night we were going to dinner and this

we were walking along we're having this conversation and it was our last night

in New York and as we were walking to the restaurant I noticed there was a man

and he was standing outside of this restaurant and he had a bouquet of

flowers and you could tell he was like excited anticipation waiting for this

girl to come out and so the kids and I had been watching him and he was

nervously shuffling his feet and watching as the cars went by and every

time somebody would come out of the restaurant his shoulders would roll back

and he was standing with anticipation so the kids and I were like oh my goodness

like where is this girl gonna come from like who is he waiting for him what is

her reaction gonna be so we walked a little ways and then we decided to stand

and look down the street to watch him because we wanted to see what would

happen when the girl came up cuz it was so sweet it was just in a nice suit you

could tell like he had been planning this moment and so there he was standing

with the flowers and out comes the girl and I had pictured it being like a scene

out of a love story she dives into his arms and like he sweeps her up and

they're so happy in the kiss right no she walks out and she kind of just

does her arms up and gives him like a friendship hug and shrugs at the flowers

and kind of dips him to her side as they walk along and the kids and I looked at

each other and we're like oh man we really thought that that was gonna be

like more exciting than what it really was and when it the other day I was

thinking about that exchange and I just felt in my heart I never want my

relationship with God to be like that and if we're not careful and because if

we'll just be honest like life gets busy things get crazy and it's really easy to

be the girl that's just kind of coming out and just barely greeting God instead

of the one who's waiting for him with this incited anticipation that dives

into his arms that's passionately pursuing him and I think if all of us

are real honest we can get so busy with everything that's going on in our life

that we could very easily become that girl and the truth is is that God is

excitedly waiting for us every single day

he's passionately pursuing us he's planning these moments to surprise us to

overwhelm us to show us his love and his goodness and if we're not careful then

we'll just be real passive about it and dismiss him off just like that girl did

in Luke chapter one it tells us about Jesus and the birth of Jesus and I love

this in Luke chapter one verse 42 it says and she cried out with a loud cry

she just found out she's pregnant with the Messiah right and then exclaimed

blessed above all other women are you and blessed favorite is the fruit of

your womb for how have I deserved that this honor should be granted to me that

the mother of my lord shall come to me for behold this is Elizabeth telling her

this right for behold the instant the sound of your salutation reach my ears

the baby in my womb leaped for joy and blessed happy to be envy is she who

believed that there would be a fulfillment of the things that were

spoken to her from the Lord you know I love that because Elizabeth is

responding to Mary and she's so excited and I love what she's saying there Matt

how blessed are you that you're here and how blessed are we that God has

fulfilled all these great things and so a few things I want to talk to you about

as we focus on and passionately pursuing God and that's number one is don't let

fear have the last word you know here Mary was and she was in a really scary

time she found out she was pregnant she's not married and in that day

time she could have been like oh my goodness like overwhelmed with fear

overwhelmed with worry anxiety but instead she chose to not let fear have

the last word she decided that she was going to be filled with excited

anticipation and she rushes over to her cousin Elizabeth's house and shares with

her the good news she didn't passively just dismiss it she

didn't just kind of act like oh my goodness this is terrible and let her

mind start to wonder with all the worry as if we're not if we're not careful

what will happen in our lives is we get so preoccupied with the anxieties of

today the worries of today that we miss the blessing that we have and here Mary

is in her passionate pursuit of God she decided to not let fear have the final

word the second thing I want you to tell you is that every day and in every way

you are in the middle of a miracle every day in every way you're in the middle of

a miracle and here she is she was told that she was gonna get pregnant I want

you to think about this and and she hasn't even started showing yet she

hasn't even had to buy maternity clothes yet she doesn't even have proof that

she's actually in the midst of a miracle right but she decides every day in every

way she's in the middle of a miracle and I want to declare over your life that

every day in every way you're in the middle of a miracle it doesn't matter

what things look like it doesn't matter what circumstances say it doesn't matter

if anything showing in the natural if God said it then it's done our job is

just to press passionately pursue him while we're waiting in the process and

when we begin to just be faithful right where we are then all of a sudden we're

going to be so aware of that miracle in the making every day in every way

there's a miracle in the making the third thing that I want to tell you as

we passionately pursue God is this prioritize your calling above all else

prioritize your calling above all else see here Mary is a young girl no doubt

she had lots of things to do she had lots of chores lots of social events

lots of things that she could have been doing but she prioritized her calling

above all she knew that God had just put a big

dream and a big purpose in her heart and in her life and she knew that if fear

wasn't gonna have the final say and then if every day and every way a miracle was

in the making she had to begin to prioritize the calling and in her doing

that she surrounded herself with people who were gonna be faith-building and

encouraging to her right where she was see Elizabeth was experiencing a miracle

of her own here she was at her old age she was pregnant with John the Baptist

and so she knew that going to Elizabeth was going to be a safe place for her to

prioritize the calling she knew that they would be able to build each other

up and I love the next verses in the Bible it has a long thing of what Mary

goes on to say in fact it's one of the longest prayers ever recorded in the

Bible from a woman and she's exalting God talking about how good he is and I

think about how different this story probably would have played out if she

would have kept herself isolated if she would have let fear have the final say

if she didn't realize that every day and every way there's a miracle in the

making and she didn't prioritize her calling friend let me tell you I can see

the things that you value most by where you're spending your time and who you're

surrounding yourself with if you want your faith to start to grow and you want

to start passionately pursuing God it's where are you spending your time with

well are you prioritizing the things that are the most important are you

letting the urgent things of your day run you over I posted recently on my

Instagram account and I really do believe that this is true that seeking

the kingdom first wasn't a suggestion it was a command and the reason why it was

a command is because all these things will follow right and when we seek the

kingdom first when we prioritize the calling when we're passionately pursuing

God then all of a sudden all the things that we could be fearful about all the

things that we're needing a miracle but they all start to fall into line so hey

Understanding Rhythmic Acquisition of Customers - Duration: 4:03.

-: Here on NBTV, got a shipwrecked, bite-sized bit

to help your business grow,

'cause it's part of my little weekend in London,

I've been out on the Thames on the Blue Thunder,

a jet vessel, and it caught fire, all very dramatic

and the engine blew up

and we were jettisoned off on the pier

and we're now limping back to base,

we've been picked up by a little cruiser boat,

so it's all very, it's just got me thinking

about obviously we know that ships and boats

on the river and on the sea, they all manage to stay afloat,

'cause kind of the laws of physics basically,

it's all about density, isn't it,

and air and things that keep 'em afloat

and of course, in business, there's no law of physics,

but there is something

that keeps every single business afloat

and indeed the businesses that sink and go under

go under because they haven't got this particular thing

and I'm talking of course,

that the most important thing in business,

the rhythmic acquisition of customers,

the truth is, if you have enough customers

coming into your business, then one way or the other,

everything else gets sorted out,

the problems only occur, kind of the vessel starts to sink,

when the flow of customers coming in isn't sufficient

and whilst everybody kind of recognises

the truth of that statement,

the reality is that very few us owners do anything about it,

in terms of thinking in particular about how to get

that acquisition of customers rhythmic, consistent,

so the flow that's coming in is the flow that you need

on a weekly, or a monthly, or even a daily basis

and it is a lot easier than people realise

to get in place the rhythmic acquisition,

once you think about it properly at a very high level,

it starts off by understanding well, what is the rhythm

that you need in your business, your desired rhythm,

is it three or four a year,

if you're refurbishing smart, swanky yachts

or is it 160 a day,

if you've got a large restaurant in the city centre

or more likely, it's somewhere between the two,

you need more than four a year and less than 160 a day,

once we know what the desired rhythm is,

it's all about understanding

well, who are the ideal customers, where will I find them,

who do I actually want to bring in

and once we understand that second part,

we can then look at the third element of the equation,

which is what can I afford to spend to get them?

Now once I know how much I can afford to spend

to get a customer and I know how many I need

and I know who those people are,

well, at that point, the marketers can start to take over,

because getting your message to the right people

to deliver the right flow of customers

coming in is surprisingly easy,

when you get the right expertise working on it,

it's what we spend a lot of time focusing on in Mastermind,

in Inner Circle and indeed in the programme

and most people in business don't give it

anything like the quality or indeed quantity

of time to think about it properly,

yet it's what keeps all of us afloat.

It wasn't particularly scary, our little incident today,

the crew handled it all very well,

it has been a bit of a disappointment,

'cause our hair-raising trip

along the Thames at rapid speeds

is now nothing but a little pleasure jaunt

at kind of four or five knots,

but at least we're still afloat in business

and the truth is you can stay afloat

in business for as long as you like,

once you've cracked the rhythmic acquisition of customers.

And you're wondering what gear should you buy or what gear the first thing you should buy before your course during or after?

So I can keep you updated every Wednesday. Alright, so we're in the mood today

I got my scuba diving shirt on from the Bahamas, which was an absolutely incredible experience

How do you recommend for anyone to go shark diving if they can although they get fed there, which is a whole thing

I'll talk about some other time

Anyway, let's get started in terms of the scuba gear

The number one thing you really want to buy it when you start diving is a mask

Whether you're snorkeling or scuba diving or doing your open water course or a discover scuba dive

Investing in a mask is going to make the biggest difference in your underwater experience now

As you can see I have two

These these are my two lovely masks

I tend to use this one for free diving and I tend to use this one for scuba diving. I think it was

Representing so let's get into it. How do you pick a mask in general? There are

Two different types mask there's single celled masks which are both of these and then there's double celled masks

Which means there's a division between your two eyes for scuba diving

I highly recommend getting a single-cell mask because it allows you a wider field of vision

However, if you do need prescription lenses put in that does not work with a single-cell mask

Second difference is is you have clear or then you have dark

silicone around the outside of the mask

The benefits of clear is you do not feel claustrophobic as I feel underwater

Sometimes lets more lighting however due to letting more light in it also causes

Refraction and reflection on the land which sometimes gives you this like shimmery effect underwater darker skirts

Eliminate that so you have a much more focused vision underwater plus a lot of people pick them because they look cooler and sleeker

But it is your personal preference now

While these masks may look cool or whatever

They might not work for your face shape

to know if a mask works for your face shape you want to put it up to your mouth and mouth and

Inhale if it sticks on your face as you're inhaling then it is a good mask now ladies

Please do not wear makeup when you go to

Your scuba diving shop to try on masks because it leaves a residue on the mask and then the dive

Assistants have to clean it up. So please just be fresh-faced when you go

Putting on masks. So yeah

So those are the masks also tip for the ladies if you have long hair and would like to keep it that way. I

Highly recommend getting a mask tamer as you can see. These are there's two types of masks tamers one

You can put over the silicone strap, which is what I used to have all the time

however

now I've actually transitioned to having a full like velcro and then this part because it really decreases the amount of

My hair that gets torn out before I started scuba diving my hair looked like this

Yeah, and after now it's just a year of teaching diving it looked like this. So yeah

Get those silicone straps. So yeah, the first thing you want to get is your masks

All right, the reason for this if you're comfortable, I mean if you have a well-fitting mask, it's not going to be leaking

It's not going to be fogging up because you would have cleaned it properly. I can make another video about that another time and

You can just have a much better experience

95% of my students which panic tends to be something to do with their masks whether when they're clearing it out

They can get all the water out or it starts leaking and that's mostly rental masks

So if you're doing course just invest so this one cost I believe

$80 and this one cost one hundred and ten

Yes, that may seem like a lot scuba dive gear is expensive scuba diving is expensive

However, if you're getting into it, this will change your entire diving experience

Kateri and Jay Schwandt are the stars of the television series 13 Sons & Pregant, but the title of the show isn't quite accurate.

Why? Because the couple is actually parents to fourteen sons.

That's right; in April, the couple welcomed their fourteenth child, Finley Sheboygan Schwandt.

He weighed in at 8 pounds, 4 ounces.

The family hails from Rockford, just north of Grand Rapids, and didn't know the baby's sex ahead of time.

For those who don't know, Kateri is one of 14 herself, so she's quite used to being part of a big family.

Jay's bio on his Facebook page reads, "Still married to my beautiful wife of 23 years, Kateri.

We live in the Grand Rapids area with our 13 boys: Tyler, Zach, Drew, Brandon, Tommy, Vinny, Calvin, Gabe, Wesley, Charlie, Luke, Tucker and Francisco.".

He continues, "Try to spend every second I can with my boys.

They come to work with me, come hunting with me, go out of town for hockey with me, make dinner with me, and mow the lawn with me.

Absolutely livin for today, cause you never know what tomorrow will bring!".

Some people have made negative comments towards the couple for the number of children they have, but they choose to live above that.

In an interview with Fox, Jay shares, "There are some really mean people in the world.

And it doesn't matter… We happen to be this great big family with 14 boys that has so much fun every second that we're together.

And we still get horrible comments.".

How do they describe their busy lives? Organized chaos, according to Kateri.

"Crazy. Chaotic. Noisy. Messy.

But, we enjoy it.

If we didn't, we wouldn't have continued to have this many children.".

Jay and Kateri were high school sweethearts and had their oldest, Tyler, and next two children at Ferris State University.

Will they have any more children after Finley?.

Jay tells Fox, "I have said, steadfastly, that we are done having children… But I have been reminded that I said the exact same thing after Tucker (who's now 4).

And after Francisco.

It just feels like we're done.".
