Apparently, the high road now involves trying to force their way into a GOP congressman's

office.

Maryland Republican Rep. Andy Harris found himself in a scary situation as he tried to

keep a group of protesters out of his office, according to Huffington Post reporter Jennifer

Bendery.

and pushing it open.

It's alarming when a group of people, even some drugged-up protesters, try to force their

way into someone's office.

And yet that's what the left seems to have devolved into during the Trump era.

The protesters were justifiably skewered by the public over this incident.

It's a good thing they keep telling me they practice or I'd never suspect it.

Look, at the end of the day, regardless of political affiliation, it's never OK to

forcibly trespass or try to assault someone.

That literally accomplishes nothing other than giving police officers more paperwork

to fill out.

This entire ordeal illustrates just how little the left has in its quest to derail Republicans

and President Donald Trump.

Slanderous accusations have gone nowhere.

Attacks on Trump's policies have yielded nothing.

Impeachment calls have fallen on utterly deaf ears.

Nope, apparently all they have left is to delay, obstruct and attack.

I was always told as a child, "Show me a man who has to resort to violence, and I'll

show you a man who's out of ideas."

That couldn't be more fitting for those on the far left.

Fortunately, Bendery reported there were no injuries.

Even creepier, there were clear warning signs of their evil potential in their earlier years.

But it was completely overlooked until it was too late.

Jeffrey Dahmer.

There were many signs that serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer was an evil child.

The "Milwaukee Monster" killed and dismembered 17 teenage boys and young men from 1978 to

1991.From a young age, Dahmer collected roadkill and dismembered the carcasses in the woodland

area behind his home.

He was fascinated by how the organs "fitted together," which became the first sign of

his obsession with cadavers.

He also impaled skulls of decapitated dogs with stakes in the woodland to frighten those

who lived in the neighborhood.

Michael Farnsworth, a forensic psychiatrist at the Minnesota Security Hospital, explained,

"In a way, I would be more worried about the person who in secret captures animals

and tortures them.

Jeffrey Dahmer did that.

As a youngster, he would capture animals and torture them.".

These were all signs of what was to come later in life as Dahmer tried to use his victims

as part of his own twisted zombie experiment.

Edmund Kemper.

Edmund Kemper became known as "The Coed Killer" after he murdered 10 people, including

his paternal grandparents and mother.

With a height of 206 centimeters (6'9″), a weight of over 113 kilograms (250 lb), and

an IQ of 145, he was considered a "natural-born killing machine" who could overpower his

victims both physically and mentally.Kemper's childhood was troubling, to say the least.

His emotionally abusive mother would lock him in the basement at night because she believed

that he would cause harm to his sisters.He took out his anger and frustration on the

family cats.

At just 10 years old, Kemper buried his pet cat alive.

Then he dug up its dead body and placed its head on a spike.

When he was 13, he used a machete to kill the replacement cat, slicing off the top of

its skull as he showered himself in the animal's blood.

In adulthood, he used the same method of decapitation against his own mother.

Jerry Brudos.

Known as "The Lust Killer" and "The Shoe Fetish Slayer," Jerry Brudos murdered

at least four women in Oregon between 1968 and 1969.

He showed signs of what was to come from a young age as his interest in women's shoes

evolved from curiosity to obsession.As a young boy, he found a pair of high-heeled shoes

and took them home to wear.

This angered his mother.

However, instead of throwing away the shoes as she demanded, he secretly kept them.

By the time he was a teenager, he took women's clothing from washing lines and stole his

teacher's high heels from under her desk.

At 17 years old, he was treated in a mental ward for nine months because he attacked a

girl in a tunnel.After his release, he settled into married life, but his urges were still

there.

Brudos lured unsuspecting women to their deaths, often keeping items of their clothing as a

sinister reminder of his twisted crimes.

Albert DeSalvo.

Albert "The Boston Strangler" DeSalvo confessed to the murders of 13 women in the

Boston area from 1962 to 1964.

His father was an alcoholic who had severely beaten DeSalvo, his siblings, and his mother.At

a young age, the future serial killer trapped small cats and dogs inside crates and then

used arrows to shoot them for archery target practice.

Despite stints in reform school and the US Army, he was unable to control his behavior.Then

DeSalvo's killing spree began.

He gained access to his victims' homes by dressing as a workman in green clothing.

His victims were tied up and held at knifepoint before he strangled them to death—often

with their own stockings.

The attacks became known as the "Green Man attacks" and were terrifying for a lot of

women.

When DeSalvo was identified as the man responsible, he was sentenced to life in prison.

Ted Bundy.

Ted Bundy is one of the most recognizable and widely discussed serial killers in history.

Charming, handsome, and evil to the core, he confessed to brutally assaulting and murdering

at least 30 women in several different states during the 1970s.

Bundy's family life was a complicated one.

He was brought up to believe that his biological mother was his sister, but he was not mistreated

or unloved.

On the documentary-style program Snapped: Notorious Ted Bundy, it was revealed that

Bundy had taken knives from the kitchen and placed them on the bed where his aunt was

sleeping when he was just a small child.

Bundy also became deeply interested in violent crime magazines that often depicted gruesome

pictures of slain women.Psychologist Al Carlisle said, "[Bundy experienced] a lot of sexual

relieving through the fictional stories."

Still, nobody could have guessed how violent the young Bundy would grow up to be.

On January 24, 1989, he was executed in the electric chair at Florida State Prison.

Albert Fish.

Albert Fish was a twisted murderer and cannibal who took the lives of three innocent children

and bragged that he had molested a total of more than 400 others "in every state."

Pain was the game for Fish.

He tortured his victims and even himself as his fetishes included hitting himself repeatedly

with a nail-studded paddle.From a young age, Fish had a destructive and disturbing sexual

appetite.

When he lived in an orphanage, he became aroused while watching his classmates receive beatings

from the teacher.

Before age 15, Fish was introduced to urolagnia (sexual excitement associated with urine)

and coprophagia (the consumption of feces) through a friend.

He also visited public bathrooms to watch the other boys undress.

Fish was caught after he sent a letter to the mother of Grace Budd, his 10-year-old

victim.

In the letter, he described how he "cut [Grace] in small pieces so I could take my

meat to my rooms, cook and eat it."

Proving that he really was a work of true evil.

Ottis Toole.

Ottis Toole was convicted of killing six victims, although he confessed to murdering more.

However, lack of evidence apparently prevented additional convictions.Toole's life had

been doomed from the start as violence and abuse was all he knew from a very young age.

He was born in Jacksonville, Florida, to a religious extremist mother who would beat

him.

His older sister molested him and dressed him as a girl, and his Satanist grandmother

robbed graves for body parts that she could use in her rituals.

His father also forced Ottis to perform sexual acts for the father's male friends.Toole

turned to setting fires for his own pleasure.

It's believed that future serial killers have a penchant for fire as it stirs up a

mixture of excitement, power, destruction, and revenge.After Toole had an argument with

his sexual partner, George Sonnenberg, in 1982, Toole barricaded Sonnenberg in a house

and set it on fire.

Toole was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the murder before it was discovered that

his victim count was much higher.

Ed Gein.

Born in La Crosse County, Wisconsin, Ed Gein only left the family farm as a boy to attend

school.

Then he returned home to carry out his chores.

Each day, his deeply religious mother would preach graphic verses from the Bible and warn

her son that women were instruments of the devil who were all prostitutes.A young Gein

made no friends and would break out into random fits of laughter in the classroom.

This caused him to become a target for bullies.

His reclusive nature continued into adulthood.

Following the death of his mother, he began digging up graves and fashioned furniture

and other items from the skin and bones of the corpses.After the murder of a local woman,

police arrived at his home to find a sickening horror show that included a lampshade made

of human skin, a belt made of human nipples, and the head of the victim kept in a paper

bag.

In 1984, he died at age 77 from heart failure and was buried in an unmarked grave.

Dennis Rader.

Between 1974 and 1991, Dennis Rader killed 10 people in Wichita, Kansas.

Mostly, he used the sinister method of "Bind, Torture, Kill" that led to his nickname

"The BTK Killer."

The former church congregation president and Boy Scout leader led a quiet family life but

also had a secret urge for torture and murder.

In 2005, he was sentenced to a minimum of 175 years in prison without a chance of parole.On

the documentary-style program Snapped: Notorious BTK Killer, Dr. Katherine Ramsland, a professor

of forensic psychology, revealed, "When he was young, his mother's ring got caught

on a couch spring, and she couldn't get her hand out.

She apparently was terrified and told him to go get help.

And he felt the first stirrings of arousal over this."Ramsland continued, "It was

exciting to him to see a woman helpless, and it was the beginning of his ideas about women

that what he wanted from them was to keep them trapped and helpless and looking to him

in terror.

That became imprinted in his mind and became the image he was always after.

Carroll Cole.

Carroll Cole strangled to death at least 15 women, including his own girlfriend, between

1971 and 1980.

In 1985, he was executed by lethal injection for some of his crimes.Although he targeted

women in his adulthood, Cole's first murder was that of a young boy when he was just a

child himself.

Cole's mother was abusive, and she would threaten to beat him if he mentioned her extramarital

affairs to his father.

His mother dressed Cole like a girl, which caused him to be bullied by his classmates.

At age eight (some sources say age 10), Cole retaliated by drowning a male classmate in

Richmond, California.The death was believed to be an accidental drowning until Cole confessed

in an autobiography that he wrote behind bars.

He said, "I was primed, I had made the mental commitment I was going to get even with my

mother, and things just built up and built up and became an obsession."

REPORT: FBI Probe Finishing Tomorrow - Duration: 2:27.

The FBI probe into Brett Kavanaugh will end tomorrow with an expected vote on the Senate

floor by the end of this week.

According to The Wall Street Journal, sources confirmed "that the FBI investigation into

the allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Kavanaugh could wrap up very soon, well

ahead of the end-of week deadline."

The probe could be done possibly late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

"Agents had interviewed at least four key people as of Tuesday in its background investigation

of Judge Kavanaugh," reports WSJ.

"The White House had given the bureau until Friday to wrap up the probe."

The debate among the senators now is whether or not the FBI's findings should be made public,

and that outcome is still up in the air.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday that only senators will be allowed

to see the report.

"We will get an FBI report soon.

It will be made available to each senator and only senators will be allowed to look

at it.

That's the way these reports are always handled.

These background checks from the FBI to the Judiciary Committee.

And we will be voting this week," McConnell said.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer challenged that assertion by saying it should be made

public, mostly because the FBI hotline has been flooded with crazy allegations with no

credibility whatsoever.

"We are getting report after report of people who call the FBI Hotline, the tips line, and

are never called back," Schumer said.

"People who claim — we don't know the veracity of these claims — but people who

claim to have new and compromising information."

Other Republicans, like Sen. John Cornyn, think the FBI probe should be made partially

public.

"There does need to be some sort of public statement, if not the reports themselves,"

he said.

"Since the accusations have been made public, it seems to me that people are not going to

be satisfied until some public statement about what the FBI supplemental background investigation

showed is made."

enate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said such an action would not be standard

protocol.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said the release should "be limited."

Recent polls indicate that if the FBI probe finds nothing, a majority of Americans want

to see Kavanaugh confirmed.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the pillar of professionalism and

grace under fire.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders grew visibly emotional during a press

briefing Thursday as she read from a 10-year-old letter recently sent to President Donald Trump

from a Tennessee man named Joseph.

The father of an Air Force master sergeant currently on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan,

Joseph wrote the letter while his son was serving in Iraq, to remind him of everything

that was at stake.

"Please don't lose sight of your purpose," Joseph had written.

"You're the only hope and glimmer of light for the good, innocent men, women and children

that you are protecting.

This may be hard for you to see or understand.

"Most people know that all of you are there because you volunteered to be there.

Your actions and dedication are seen by people throughout the world as without a doubt the

most heroic action of any person which can be made.

"You and the soldiers standing next to you from all of the other countries are the pride

of not only the nations they represent, but every individual that yearns to be free,"

the letter concluded.

"Stand tall, my son, and be steadfast.

For it is you who are the defender of freedom."

As she read it, the emotion from the podium was palpable.

Like Trump, Sanders has a deep respect for the men and women who serve our country.

It was personal to her to make this announcement and obviously important.

"We owe it to the servicemen and women like the master sergeant who have fought in our

name in Afghanistan for 17 years and to the families who have watched them go to secure

an honorable and lasting outcome to this conflict," Sanders saids during the press briefing, after

reading the letter aloud.

Western Journalism added: Though many on both the right and left have

complained over the president's just-announced decision to escalate the United States'

wa*r in Afghanistan, it's clear by Joseph's poignant words why we can't give up now

when we've already come this far.

Closing up the briefing, Sanders noted that Joseph told Trump he had been a police officer

for 30 years and that he sent the letter to the president in the hopes he'd read it.

"I'm glad to say that he did earlier today," she said.

Each citizen is so important and special to the president, that he read this letter and

kept it within reach, despite receiving an overwhelming amount of mail daily, most likely.

He promised to work for the "average" American and our military and is doing just

that.

Part of Joseph's words to his son also apply to Sanders and Trump as well: "Please don't

lose sight of your purpose."

America needs them both to remain steadfast to their purpose through the challenges heaped

on them by detractors.

This particular story was popular at the time it originally made the news and is circulating

Albert "The Boston Strangler" DeSalvo confessed to the murders of 13 women in the

Boston area from 1962 to 1964.

His father was an alcoholic who had severely beaten DeSalvo, his siblings, and his mother.At

a young age, the future serial killer trapped small cats and dogs inside crates and then

used arrows to shoot them for archery target practice.

Despite stints in reform school and the US Army, he was unable to control his behavior.Then

DeSalvo's killing spree began.

He gained access to his victims' homes by dressing as a workman in green clothing.

His victims were tied up and held at knifepoint before he strangled them to death—often

with their own stockings.

When DeSalvo was identified as the man responsible, he was sentenced to life in prison.

Ted Bundy is one of the most recognizable and widely discussed serial killers in history.

at least 30 women in several different states during the 1970s.

Bundy's family life was a complicated one.

He was brought up to believe that his biological mother was his sister, but he was not mistreated

or unloved.

On the documentary-style program Snapped: Notorious Ted Bundy, it was revealed that

Bundy had taken knives from the kitchen and placed them on the bed where his aunt was

sleeping when he was just a small child.

Bundy also became deeply interested in violent crime magazines that often depicted gruesome

pictures of slain women.Psychologist Al Carlisle said, "[Bundy experienced] a lot of sexual

relieving through the fictional stories."

Still, nobody could have guessed how violent the young Bundy would grow up to be.

On January 24, 1989, he was executed in the electric chair at Florida State Prison.

his sexual partner, George Sonnenberg, in 1982, Toole barricaded Sonnenberg in a house

and set it on fire.

Toole was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the murder before it was discovered that

his victim count was much higher.

Ed Gein.

Born in La Crosse County, Wisconsin, Ed Gein only left the family farm as a boy to attend

school.

Then he returned home to carry out his chores.

Each day, his deeply religious mother would preach graphic verses from the Bible and warn

her son that women were instruments of the devil who were all prostitutes.A young Gein

made no friends and would break out into random fits of laughter in the classroom.

This caused him to become a target for bullies.

His reclusive nature continued into adulthood.

Following the death of his mother, he began digging up graves and fashioned furniture

and other items from the skin and bones of the corpses.After the murder of a local woman,

police arrived at his home to find a sickening horror show that included a lampshade made

of human skin, a belt made of human nipples, and the head of the victim kept in a paper

bag.

In 1984, he died at age 77 from heart failure and was buried in an unmarked grave.

Dennis Rader.

Between 1974 and 1991, Dennis Rader killed 10 people in Wichita, Kansas.

Mostly, he used the sinister method of "Bind, Torture, Kill" that led to his nickname

"The BTK Killer."

The former church congregation president and Boy Scout leader led a quiet family life but

also had a secret urge for torture and murder.

In 2005, he was sentenced to a minimum of 175 years in prison without a chance of parole.On

the documentary-style program Snapped: Notorious BTK Killer, Dr. Katherine Ramsland, a professor

of forensic psychology, revealed, "When he was young, his mother's ring got caught

on a couch spring, and she couldn't get her hand out.

She apparently was terrified and told him to go get help.

And he felt the first stirrings of arousal over this."Ramsland continued, "It was

exciting to him to see a woman helpless, and it was the beginning of his ideas about women

that what he wanted from them was to keep them trapped and helpless and looking to him

in terror.

That became imprinted in his mind and became the image he was always after.

Carroll Cole.

Carroll Cole strangled to death at least 15 women, including his own girlfriend, between

1971 and 1980.

In 1985, he was executed by lethal injection for some of his crimes.Although he targeted

women in his adulthood, Cole's first murder was that of a young boy when he was just a

child himself.

Cole's mother was abusive, and she would threaten to beat him if he mentioned her extramarital

affairs to his father.

His mother dressed Cole like a girl, which caused him to be bullied by his classmates.

At age eight (some sources say age 10), Cole retaliated by drowning a male classmate in

Richmond, California.The death was believed to be an accidental drowning until Cole confessed

in an autobiography that he wrote behind bars.

He said, "I was primed, I had made the mental commitment I was going to get even with my

mother, and things just built up and built up and became an obsession."

REPORT: FBI Probe Finishing Tomorrow - Duration: 2:27.

The FBI probe into Brett Kavanaugh will end tomorrow with an expected vote on the Senate

floor by the end of this week.

According to The Wall Street Journal, sources confirmed "that the FBI investigation into

the allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Kavanaugh could wrap up very soon, well

ahead of the end-of week deadline."

The probe could be done possibly late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

"Agents had interviewed at least four key people as of Tuesday in its background investigation

of Judge Kavanaugh," reports WSJ.

"The White House had given the bureau until Friday to wrap up the probe."

The debate among the senators now is whether or not the FBI's findings should be made public,

and that outcome is still up in the air.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday that only senators will be allowed

to see the report.

"We will get an FBI report soon.

It will be made available to each senator and only senators will be allowed to look

at it.

That's the way these reports are always handled.

These background checks from the FBI to the Judiciary Committee.

And we will be voting this week," McConnell said.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer challenged that assertion by saying it should be made

public, mostly because the FBI hotline has been flooded with crazy allegations with no

credibility whatsoever.

"We are getting report after report of people who call the FBI Hotline, the tips line, and

are never called back," Schumer said.

"People who claim — we don't know the veracity of these claims — but people who

claim to have new and compromising information."

Other Republicans, like Sen. John Cornyn, think the FBI probe should be made partially

public.

"There does need to be some sort of public statement, if not the reports themselves,"

he said.

"Since the accusations have been made public, it seems to me that people are not going to

be satisfied until some public statement about what the FBI supplemental background investigation

showed is made."

enate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said such an action would not be standard

protocol.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said the release should "be limited."

Recent polls indicate that if the FBI probe finds nothing, a majority of Americans want

to see Kavanaugh confirmed.

Sarah Sanders Breaks Down In Tears In Front Of Everyone After Making Brave Personal Announcement - Duration: 3:58.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the pillar of professionalism and

grace under fire.

Since being hired for the role and having to conduct frequent press briefings to the

mainstream media wolves, she's been a perpetual target of the most ruthless attacks.

The media she briefs aren't the only ones who come at her.

Late night talk show hosts and celebrities in Hollywood have also enjoyed making fun

of her to no end.

After awhile, it would take its toll on anyone regardless of your strength and solid sense

of self-worth.

Sarah has still has to do her job daily in the face of all of that torment and does so

flawlessly.

From how she holds herself, there's no telling what she really feels inside.

However, she recently lost her composure, and rightfully so, when she broke down in

tears in front of reporters as she began to make a very personal announcement.

President Trump knew what he was doing when he put this incredible woman in this position.

She's the very best for the job and more importantly, has Trump's back.

There's no question how much she genuinely respects him and the job he's doing as our

nation's leader.

Proving that, was when she began to cry while revealing what she found on his desk.

Western Journalism reports:

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders grew visibly emotional during a press

briefing Thursday as she read from a 10-year-old letter recently sent to President Donald Trump

from a Tennessee man named Joseph.

The father of an Air Force master sergeant currently on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan,

Joseph wrote the letter while his son was serving in Iraq, to remind him of everything

that was at stake.

"Please don't lose sight of your purpose," Joseph had written.

"You're the only hope and glimmer of light for the good, innocent men, women and children

that you are protecting.

This may be hard for you to see or understand.

"Most people know that all of you are there because you volunteered to be there.

Your actions and dedication are seen by people throughout the world as without a doubt the

most heroic action of any person which can be made.

"You and the soldiers standing next to you from all of the other countries are the pride

of not only the nations they represent, but every individual that yearns to be free,"

the letter concluded.

"Stand tall, my son, and be steadfast.

For it is you who are the defender of freedom."

As she read it, the emotion from the podium was palpable.

Like Trump, Sanders has a deep respect for the men and women who serve our country.

It was personal to her to make this announcement and obviously important.

"We owe it to the servicemen and women like the master sergeant who have fought in our

name in Afghanistan for 17 years and to the families who have watched them go to secure

an honorable and lasting outcome to this conflict," Sanders saids during the press briefing, after

reading the letter aloud.

Western Journalism added: Though many on both the right and left have

complained over the president's just-announced decision to escalate the United States'

wa*r in Afghanistan, it's clear by Joseph's poignant words why we can't give up now

when we've already come this far.

Closing up the briefing, Sanders noted that Joseph told Trump he had been a police officer

for 30 years and that he sent the letter to the president in the hopes he'd read it.

"I'm glad to say that he did earlier today," she said.

Each citizen is so important and special to the president, that he read this letter and

kept it within reach, despite receiving an overwhelming amount of mail daily, most likely.

He promised to work for the "average" American and our military and is doing just

that.

Part of Joseph's words to his son also apply to Sanders and Trump as well: "Please don't

lose sight of your purpose."

America needs them both to remain steadfast to their purpose through the challenges heaped

on them by detractors.

This particular story was popular at the time it originally made the news and is circulating

again a second time for the important and applicable message that's relevant today.re's

Hip Implants Causing SEVERE Metal Poisoning In Patients - Duration: 7:32.

More lawsuits are being filed against the makers of metal-on-metal hip implants after

complaints emerged of metal poisoning from the devices.

Now, full disclosure, as you know, we handled the first set of DePuy cases that came out.

We were actually involved in the leadership to discovery in that case.

We settled that first round of cases.

But what we learned was startling, actually.

What we learned was that there's cobalt ... When you rub metal on metal in the human body,

synergistically, you create chemicals.

There's already cobalt in the metal, but synergistically, those chemicals are very toxic and they move

through your ... They move systemically through every organ system.

It's no difference than a heavy metal poisoning.

To some degree, this is even worse.

We found neurological diseases because as you might imagine, it affects the neurological

system.

You found issues with heart.

If you just go look at the classic symptoms of heavy metal poisoning, you'd find all of

them here.

In the documents, the first go around on the documents, it was very evident they knew about

it, they talked about it, they had doctors saying, "Hey, I have these people that are

presenting with classic symptoms of metal poisoning."

When they would open the patient up, the area around the implants sometimes was necrotic.

The damage was set, so it actually damaged the tissue all around the joint, the hip joint.

That's a massive joint.

The necrosis was a huge problem obviously for the tissue around.

Then the biggest problem was you really couldn't fix it.

In other words, there was so much damage in the area where the hip joint was connecting

up to where the implant was, you just couldn't fix it because so much damage had occurred

around the connective tissue.

What's your take on this story?

Well, you know, these hip implants, these DePuy ASRs, they'd actually been voluntarily

recalled many years ago.

A lot of patients obviously the thought of having to undergo another major hip surgery,

you know, you're out of commission for months, really, especially consider.

Some of them were not able to do it.

They understood the risks and they weren't able.

But now they're also developing the problems.

[crosstalk 00:02:28].

In other words, you're saying it was too early for them to do it back then.

Right.

Right.

So, they didn't.

They had just come off it.

It's really hard for them to do this.

You talked about that case.

We've got this one here that's a continuation of that.

DePuy has kind of been one of the repeat offenders here.

That's a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.

We've seen it with a lot of their products.

Not all of them, but a lot.

You almost kind of get the sense-

When you see Johnson & Johnson product, it sounds like a real overstatement but it's

not, these cases, I've handled 35 years, just nothing but pharmaceutical cases, medical

device cases, but there's kind of a joke in the industry.

When you see J&J involved with a lawsuit and somebody's saying there's a problem, most

of the time there is.

Of course, now, it's just not pharmaceuticals.

It's devices, it's talc, and [inaudible 00:03:25] it goes on forever the problems that this

company's having.

I don't know how they're going to weather all of this, to be honest with you.

But this is a real case and people now, because there's a latency, the implant's put in, you

want to hope for the best.

A lot of these people said, "Well, I want to hope for the best."

To go in and say, "I want this removed and replaced," I mean, that is a major, major

surgery.

The older people become ... I mean, one of the classic kind of ways that people at the

end of their lives, it's typically centered around a broken hip.

It's a major kind of surgery.

It's not like, "I want to just go in and remove this DePuy."

It's not that easy, is it?

No.

Because a lot of these people, and this is why they did not do it at the time, either

it was too soon after they had just had it put in or their bodies are no longer in the

condition to where they could survive any kind of surgery at all, so they're stuck with

it.

They didn't necessarily make the choice for this.

The doctor told them this is what's best for you.

I trust my doctor.

I will go through with what you say.

But now, I've had it five years.

We find out it's bad, but I have late stage cancer now.

I can't go through this.

I have chronic pneumonia.

I couldn't survive going under for this surgery.

Yeah.

This is an ugly story in a lot of ways, too, because this is another deal where Johnson

& Johnson, DePuy, went out and found these opinion leaders, these doctors, that would

stand ... You know, well respected [orthopods 00:05:05] that would write, "I'm a believer

in this product," and they actually traveled around, making, giving speeches about what

a great revolutionary product this was.

All the time that was happening, all the time that Johnson & Johnson had them out doing

that, the full time, in DePuy, in Johnson & Johnson's own file cabinets, there was discussion

about how dangerous this could be because of metallosis.

Yeah.

CBS is facing shareholder lawsuits after the network tried to cover up many, many sexual

They're making a gazillion dollars a year.

this up.

And because you covered it up, now it's going to cost me, as a shareholder, a lot of money.

It's kind of like musical chairs.

When this was going on, I didn't own your stock.

Now I do own your stock and everybody's ... You know, it's come full circle.

I'm going to have to pay for all your ignorance, your predatory stupidity.

I got to pay for that."

This is a lawsuit CBS better worry about.

Right.

Absolutely.

This affects people who bought stock in the company I think from 2014 to 2018.

We're talking about four years worth of people buying into this stock while this company

was covering up for Moonves, for Charlie Rose, for Fager, so many people.

We talk a lot about the stuff that happened at Fox News with all those folks.

CBS doing the same thing, not getting near as much coverage.

Some astronomers, including ones at nasa, believe that there's a mysterious planet

that lurks at the edge of our solar system whos gravity is throwing off the orbit of

other objects.

They have dubbed this planet, planet 9, or planet X.

The planet x that is theorized by scientists is different from the conspiracy theory planet

x or nibiru that is apparently supposed to crash into our earth and cause the apocalypse.

Not that planet x.

Some scientists are so dead set on the idea that planet x actually exists, that they are

searching for it using some of the most powerful telescopes on earth.

While hunting for planet X using the Japanese Subaru Telescope in hawaii, researchers with

Northern Arizona University, The Carnegie Institution of Science, and the University

of Hawaii have found a small dwarf planet that takes 40 thousand earth years to orbit

the sun.

Because of how slow it's orbit is, it took a long time for researchers to observe it

understand it.

Also because Its really really far out, like way out in the boonies.

Like you know when you go to your friends new house but the only reason why they bought

a new house is because they bought it in the boonies and its cheaper?

Yeah its even further than that.

This planet is more than 2000 times the distance between the earth and the sun, and its 2 and

a half times farther from the sun than pluto.

According to scott sheppard, an astronomer with the cargenie instution of science, this

discovery has made them 90 percent sure that planet x actually exists.

How does this planet make them so sure?

Well this dawf planet.

Its itty bitty, and its been nicknamed the goblin because scientists actually discovered

it around Halloween of 2015, but they have just formally announced it.

I actually love that its called the goblin and that it lurks at the edge of our solar

systems because goblins totally lurk.

Do goblins do anything other than lurk?

I don't know but they are usually lurking like under bridges and shit and apparently

also at the edge of the solar system.

So The goblin is in the oort cloud, which is a bubble of objects filled with icy bodies.

The oort cloud is said to be the birth place of many comets.

According to Scott Sheppard, the goblin has the largest orbit out of all the extremely

distant objects that stay well beyond pluto.

Given its orbit, the goblin never comes close enough to the giant planets in our solar system

to be affected by their gravitational influence.

Sheppard and his team have found several objects like the goblin in our solar system over the

last 6 years.

The first one was found in 2012.

Because these planets are isolated, he said they can be used as probes to find out what's

happening at the edge of our solar system.

The goblin has a very strange orbit, it travels very slowly along an elongated orbit.

So if the goblin is so far away that its unaffected by gas giants in our solar system, what is

contributing to its strange orbit?

Why, planet x my friends, planet x.

The goblin as well as other planets discovered by scott sheppards team are being pushed into

a similar orbit by a force, a force that we have not discovered yet.

The researchers say that based on simulations using the basic parameters they have for planet

x, the goblin acts like it is shepherded by planet x but it never gets close to it.

this is similar to why pluto never gets too close to Neptune even though their orbits

cross.

Its important to know that these outer objects have not proved that planet x exists, but

they are evidence that there could be something big at the edge of our solar system that we

haven't discovered yet.

With the Kavanaugh hearing dominating the media cycle, few are paying attention to Mueller's

But with Brett Kavanaugh facing the battle of his life, nothing new regarding the Russian

In fact, a constitutional law attorney may have just found a way to take Mueller down

for good.

And conveniently enough, the Kavanaugh fight plays into it.

Paul Kamenar is representing Andrew Miller who is being subpoenaed by Mueller to testify

against Roger Stone.

Stone is one of Mueller's top targets.

He is a longtime ally of President Trump, and one of the main people who encouraged

him to run in the first place.

But Kamenar is working to protect his client and has a trick up his sleeve.

Shutting Down Mueller's Entire Investigation Kamenar is challenging the legitimacy of Mueller's

special counsel.

And if his challenge holds, it will rule Mueller's entire investigation unconstitutional.

Kamenar predicts his challenge will make it all the way to the Supreme Court.

And that's where Kavanaugh comes into play.

One of the Democrat's initial concerns with Kavanaugh was his dislike for special counsel

investigations.

So if they are right in their concerns, his confirmation is even more dangerous.

Mueller may lose everything he has worked towards.

Which is something President Trump will be very happy with.

Mueller's Shady Investigation At the start of his investigation, people

stood with Robert Mueller.

Even President Trump was initially welcoming of the investigation to clear his name.

A fairly conducted investigation would prove he's innocent.

But Mueller's investigation has been far from fair.

Virtually everybody on his team is a Democrat.

It is Hillary Clinton and the Democrats who funded the Christopher Steele dossier that

began the investigation in the first place.

The FBI used the dossier to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on Carter Page.

Rod Rosenstein also used that warrant application to form Mueller's special counsel.

It is these facts that are turning America away from Mueller.

Only the most dedicated anti-Trump supporters still believe in his investigation.

Democrats Protecting Mueller Challenging the investigation at the Supreme

Court level may be the best move.

If Trump removes Mueller on his own, it will bring a host of new problems.

Democrats have a bill to protect Mueller if he is fired.

But if his investigation is ruled unconstitutional, it won't matter what bill the Democrats

have.

George A Romero, Night of The Living Dead & The Modern Zombie | History of Fright - Duration: 4:49.

- Greetings and welcome to the History of Fright.

I'm your host Michael Virardi,

and I'm gonna be taking you on a tour of terror

through some of the genre's most beloved entities.

This week, we're gonna be raising the dead.

One look at the cultural landscape

and there's little denying we're just rabid for zombies.

Shows and comics like The Walking Dead and its spinoffs,

as well as movies like 28 Days Later and Shaun of the Dead,

speak to our unending, insatiable desire for content

featuring endless hordes of the living dead.

- You've red on you.

- But did you know that most of the trademark tropes

of the zombie genre that we know and love today

can most directly be attributed to one man?

Who not only had a love of fright,

but an interest in using it as a means

for challenging the establishment.

George A. Romero is a name that has become

synonymous with the horror genre.

His work on such classic films as Creep Show,

The Crazies, Monkey Shines,

and the TV show Tales from the Darkside,

has forever cemented his place in the hearts of fright fans.

But, it is unquestionably his work in the world of zombies

that has made him an undisputed pop culture legend.

Born in the Bronx, but most closely identified

with the city of Pittsburgh,

Romero began his career in the steel town after college

shooting commercials and segments

for children's TV icon Mr. Rogers.

In fact, Romero shot a segment where Mr. Rogers

went to have a tonsillectomy.

And, if that's not graphic horror, I don't know what is.

Around this time, George and several of his friends

formed a production company, and their first film,

a little project Romero co-wrote with horror writer

John Russo, called Night of the Living Dead.

Originally titled Night of Anubis, the soon to be classic

wasn't even initially intended to be a zombie film.

In fact, the word zombie is never actually used

in Night of the Living Dead, instead referring

to the newly reanimated as ghouls.

- They're coming to get you Barbara.

- [Michael] A bit of trivia Edgar Wright paid homage to

when making Shaun of the Dead decades later.

- We're coming to get you Barbara.

- Of course, there's good reason Romero and his crew

maybe didn't initially have zombies in mind

when making the movie.

Their brand of zombies didn't really exist yet.

Though zombies had been portrayed in film prior to Romero,

it was often with regard to the voodoo based origins

of the zombie myth, such as in

1932's White Zombie starring Bela Lugosi.

In fact, the closest anyone ever got to Romero's

brand of mischief was Hammer Films Plague of the Zombies,

which came a mere year before Night of the Living Dead.

(screaming)

With one film, Romero and company introduced the world

to all of the tropes that have become defining factors

of the modern zombie story.

The dead rise with a taste for people,

and only a bullet to the brain

will stop them in their tracks.

Throw in a group of scrappy survivors

just hoping to make it until morning,

and you've got the recipe

for almost every flesh-eater tale that followed.

But, Night of the Living Dead did so much more

than introduce a new definitive take on a monster,

the true impact of the movie lies

within what that monster represents.

In an era where the film industry's diversity representation

was practically non-existent, Romero cast Duane Jones,

an African-American man, to play the film's lead.

Considering the climate of the era,

critics and film goers alike couldn't help

but drop parallels to the world outside

in this tale of an individual fighting to survive

against faceless masses that were trying

to take his humanity away.

The subtext was clear,

this was more than a mere horror film, it was a statement.

Romero would continue to use zombies as a catalyst

for social and political commentary

as his dead movies moved forward, spooling into a franchise

that became a cornerstone of the genre.

In Dawn of the Dead, Romero trapped his protagonists

in the shopping mall, and the faceless horde unquestionably

became a critique of consumer culture.

As I'm sure anyone who shopped on Black Friday can agree.

- You never know.

- And, in Day of the Dead, the story's

Army bunker setting made way to an indictment

of the military industrial complex.

And that, even beyond the well known tropes

that he introduced to the zombie genre,

is George Romero's greatest impact.

If you look at the landscape of zombie movies,

TV, and stories as they exist today,

the strongest among them always focus

on the human element of the tale.

Often serving as a critique, or revealing kernel of truth

about the moment of time from which they came.

The focus in the 80's of zombie movies

spreading like a virus runs parallel to the AIDS crisis.

And, is even reflected in modern pandemic films today,

like 28 Days Later.

Also, The Walking Dead's focus on government collapse

and corrupt leadership seems strangely pressing

in today's political climate.

In summary, George Romero didn't just make zombies

what they are today by helping define their characteristics

as fictional monsters, he also gave them real bite

by showcasing their ability to serve as a mechanism

of commentary on a world of true monsters, people.

Ultimately, this is why zombies continue to engage

and entrance audiences, because though we may not

want to admit it, we see a little bit of ourselves in them.

After all, behind each and every zombie

was a person just like you.

To judge by his tweets, tantrums and apparent belief that Rudy Giuliani is an appropriate

advocate, Donald Trump teeters at the precipice of incoherence and self-destruction, needing

only a shove.

Who best to administer it but a spouse with her own, separate bedroom in the White House

and her own, separate hotel suite when they travel?

She inches ever closer to open contempt for him.

She finds increasingly clever ways to show it.

And it's a perfect wedding of patriotism and payback for all the humiliations that

he has heaped on her.

This first-lady thing clearly flummoxed her at first.

It's a ludicrous job.

You're supposed to make a difference without making waves, find a passion while veiling

your convictions and smile blithely through a ceaseless forensic examination of your every

accessory.

It's infantilizing.

It's objectifying.

If a presidential administration were a sedan, the first lady would be its hood ornament.

If it were a manse, she'd be the topiary bracketing the front stoop.

Usually Melania Trump was absent topiary.

America had a denuded front stoop.

And we made hasty assumptions.

When she initially announced her anti-cyberbullying campaign in a speech in November 2016, we

thought that she was out to lunch.

Did she not see the contradiction?

For the president's first State of the Union address, she wore a white pantsuit that served

as a sartorial reminder of suffragists and of Hillary Clinton.

This month, after he questioned LeBron James's intelligence in a tweet, her spokeswoman released

a statement that asserted the first lady's admiration for James's work with at-risk

children in his hometown, Akron, Ohio.

Melania was possibly interested in visiting the school there that James had helped to

start, the statement said.

And my colleagues Katie Rogers and Maggie Haberman recently reported that during a trip

overseas last month, the president had a fit because the first lady's television on Air

Force One was tuned to CNN, not his beloved Fox News.

Was CNN an accident or a provocation?

Well, in a public response to the incident, Melania's spokeswoman made clear that the

first lady watches "any channel she wants."

I'm not sure what to make of that "I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?"

jacket that she wore on her way to a detention center for migrant children in Texas.

It's the "rosebud" of our time.

But what if the message was that she didn't mind if we interpreted her behavior as a rebuke

of her husband's?

Marriage as psyops — it's not virgin territory, but the stage and stakes here are epic.

On Monday, as The Washington Post's James Hohmann noted, she used the phrase "global

society" in both her spoken remarks about cyberbullying and her written remarks about

the trip to Africa, which she praised for its "rich culture."

Her husband, of course, treats "globalists" and "globalism" as dirty words, and some

of his "shithole countries" are on that richly cultured continent.

She'll be going there without him.

Other first ladies beautified highways, promoted reading, planted squash.

This one could abbreviate a nightmare.

She's in a situation that her predecessors weren't, on the arm of an overlord who needs

undermining, and it's her invitation to greatness, or at least her prompt for an itinerary

tailored to taunt.

I urge that visit to James's school.

Bring Don Lemon along.

I suggest lunch dates with Maxine Waters, Aperol spritzes with Angela Merkel and pajama

parties with Nancy Pelosi.

And pussy bows and pantsuits for days on end.

They're the threads of a revolution."

Don't be fooled, if you took the time the time to stomach reading the whole article

above you will see it's not an actual praise of anything.

It's just one more mere try to take down our President.

The man the majority of us voted for in the 2016 election.

But what perhaps makes this article special is that he comes at him by forwarding a conspiracy

theory which actually claims First Lady Melania Trump is trying to get under her husband's

skin.

That she has contempt for him and if only she would turn it up a notch "she might

finally undo him and set us free."

Free us from what?

A world without ISIS?

Peace in the Korean Peninsula?

An unemployment rate not seen in decades?

An economy which the CEO of Target calls "the best I've seen in my career?"

A GDP which former President Barack Hussein Obama said was unattainable in today's world?

A consumer confidence not seen since the 90's?

Is this the evil they want to rid us from?

I think we can all rest assured that if Hillary Clinton didn't have contempt for Bill, and

Jackie Kennedy didn't have contempt for John, President Trump has nothing to worry

about since he has done nothing compared to what those two characters put their wives

through.

The author of this piece, Frank Bruni has been with The Times since 1995 and has actually

held a variety of jobs in the field of journalism, which in today's world seems to have open

contempt for people like you and I.

He was White House reporter, Rome bureau chief, and chief restaurant critic before becoming

a columnist in 2011 for the NYT.

Maybe he should just stick to being a restaurant critic, which I am sure he didn't excel

at either outside of his own elitist circles.

Horror Roles That Really Messed With Actors' Heads - Duration: 4:51.

Ever watched a horror movie and wondered just how those actors manage to get through playing

such terrifying and disturbing roles?

Well, the truth is: some of them barely do.

These actors have experienced everything from abusive directors to creepy on-set experiences

to full-blown psychological breakdowns.

Here are a few of the brave souls who took on roles that ended up messing with their

heads.

Screaming in space

The chest-bursting scene in Alien ranks among the most iconic moments in sci-fi history.

Part of what made that moment so impactful might be that the cast involved had no idea

what was about to happen to them.

Director Ridley Scott made sure that the creature's reveal would happen in real-time during shooting,

hoping for more authentic reactions from his actors.

It worked.

Actress Veronica Cartwright later remembered: "You see this thing start to come out, so

we all get sucked in, we lean forward to check it out […] all of a sudden it comes out.

I tell you, none of us expected it."

It was Cartwright herself who suffered the most intense reaction of all to the scene

- when the blood hit her during the take, she passed out.

Hotel trauma

Stanley Kubrick pretty much obliterated the the psyche of actress Shelley Duvall during

shooting on his adaptation of Stephen King's The Shining.

His mistreatment of Duvall included ordering cast and crew not to help her when upset and

actively hindering her efforts to deliver her performance.

And because the whole film was shot chronologically, the viewer is treated to an entirely realistic

portrayal of the unravelling of someone's mental well-being.

According to Duvall: "Stanley pushed me and prodded me further than I've ever been

pushed before.

It's the most difficult role I've ever had to play."

She had to keep bottles of water nearby on-set to keep her hydrated after her bouts of hysterics

and even confronted Kubrick with clumps of her own hair to demonstrate just how unwell

she was during the shoot.

Perhaps worst of all, Kubrick forced her to perform her iconic, traumatic baseball bat

scene over and over again across a stunning 127 takes.

"And are you concerned about me?"

"Of course I am!"

"Of course you are!"

The Omen's curse

Richard Donner's 1976 creepfest The Omen has a rich history of freaky incidents that solidified

the antichrist-centric flick's reputation as one of the most cursed sets of all time

- and it was Gregory Peck who bore the brunt of the tragedy.

His son Jonathan shot himself just two months prior to production on the movie, and then

his plane was struck by lightning - something that would also go on to happen to The Omen's

executive producer Mace Neufeld.

Elsewhere during production, an animal handler would be mauled by a tiger, a special effects

assistant would be beheaded in a car crash - near a car sign which read "Ommen, 66.6km"

- and a plane originally chartered for use on aerial shots during shooting would go down

in Israel, killing everyone on board.

These eerie happenings had everyone so spooked that producer Harvey Bernhard actually carried

a cross with him on set.

It was Bernhard who said of The Omen: "the devil was at work - and he didn't want that

film made."

Man in the mask

During shooting on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Tobe Hooper withheld the appearance of Leatherface

from his actors until the cameras actually started rolling.

Gunnar Hansen, who played Leatherface, has spoken of the difficulties endured by his

fellow cast members during filming on the movie's iconic dinner table scene.

He said: "The whole dinner scene is burned in my memory.

I think just because of the misery of it.

At that point we were really just on the verge of mental collapse."

Burns herself later told Hansen that: "I thought you were really going to hurt me.

You couldn't see through your stupid mask."

Lost in the woods

The Blair Witch Project was filmed over the course of an eight-day camping trip - if you

can call it that.

There was practically no interaction between the cast and crew, save for a daily meeting

meant to provide the actors with supplies and instructions on where to go next.

The crew would then go on to stalk the actors during the daytime, rattle their tents at

night when they were sleeping and, as the shoot progressed, give them less and less

food so they'd become steadily more frustrated and exhausted by each other.

"No Mike, it's not the same log.

It's not the same log, Mike!"

"Same log!"

"Look, it's not."

"It is, open your eyes!"

The devil's work

As a child star of one of the most iconic horror movies of all time, Linda Blair experienced

no small number of side-effects from shooting The Exorcist.

Despite not really understanding much about the depravity of the movie during filming

- to her, it was simply acting - she was faced with a litany of questions after its release

about possession, Catholicism and the nature of faith.

To say she was unprepared for this is something of an understatement.

She later said: "To me The Exorcist was a work of fiction.

I didn't realize then that it dealt with anything in reality, and so when the press kept asking

me about all the devil stuff, it just kept adding to the pressure I was under, and it

was just an awful thing to go through as a teenager."

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the pillar of professionalism and

grace under fire.

Since being hired for the role and having to conduct frequent press briefings to the

mainstream media wolves, she's been a perpetual target of the most ruthless attacks.

The media she briefs aren't the only ones who come at her.

Late night talk show hosts and celebrities in Hollywood have also enjoyed making fun

of her to no end.

After awhile, it would take its toll on anyone regardless of your strength and solid sense

of self-worth.

Sarah has still has to do her job daily in the face of all of that torment and does so

flawlessly.

From how she holds herself, there's no telling what she really feels inside.

However, she recently lost her composure, and rightfully so, when she broke down in

tears in front of reporters as she began to make a very personal announcement.

President Trump knew what he was doing when he put this incredible woman in this position.

She's the very best for the job and more importantly, has Trump's back.

There's no question how much she genuinely respects him and the job he's doing as our

nation's leader.

Proving that, was when she began to cry while revealing what she found on his desk.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders grew visibly emotional during a press

briefing Thursday as she read from a 10-year-old letter recently sent to President Donald Trump

from a Tennessee man named Joseph.

The father of an Air Force master sergeant currently on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan,

Joseph wrote the letter while his son was serving in Iraq, to remind him of everything

that was at stake.

"Please don't lose sight of your purpose," Joseph had written.

"You're the only hope and glimmer of light for the good, innocent men, women and children

that you are protecting.

This may be hard for you to see or understand.

"Most people know that all of you are there because you volunteered to be there.

Your actions and dedication are seen by people throughout the world as without a doubt the

most heroic action of any person which can be made.

"You and the soldiers standing next to you from all of the other countries are the pride

of not only the nations they represent, but every individual that yearns to be free,"

the letter concluded.

"Stand tall, my son, and be steadfast.

For it is you who are the defender of freedom."

As she read it, the emotion from the podium was palpable.

Like Trump, Sanders has a deep respect for the men and women who serve our country.

It was personal to her to make this announcement and obviously important.

"We owe it to the servicemen and women like the master sergeant who have fought in our

name in Afghanistan for 17 years and to the families who have watched them go to secure

an honorable and lasting outcome to this conflict," Sanders saids during the press briefing, after

reading the letter aloud.

Western Journalism added: Though many on both the right and left have

complained over the president's just-announced decision to escalate the United States'

wa*r in Afghanistan, it's clear by Joseph's poignant words why we can't give up now

when we've already come this far.

Closing up the briefing, Sanders noted that Joseph told Trump he had been a police officer

for 30 years and that he sent the letter to the president in the hopes he'd read it.

"I'm glad to say that he did earlier today," she said.

Each citizen is so important and special to the president, that he read this letter and

kept it within reach, despite receiving an overwhelming amount of mail daily, most likely.

He promised to work for the "average" American and our military and is doing just

that.

Part of Joseph's words to his son also apply to Sanders and Trump as well: "Please don't

lose sight of your purpose."

America needs them both to remain steadfast to their purpose through the challenges heaped

on them by detractors.
