Youtube daily report w Apr 24 2017

The change of sports before and after 2008 -

in my opinion

sports were competitive before 2008,

and sports have become part of daily life after 2008.

And that is the significant difference.

After the Beijing Olympic Games,

the overall sports atmosphere in Beijing

has undergone huge changes.

In the Olympic Forest Park

in the evening, when having a walk

one can see many local people doing exercises there,

kicking shuttlecock, skipping and jogging -

all kinds of exercise activities.

We will transform those Olympic stadiums built in 2008

and use them in 2022.

For example, the Water Cube

will be turned into an ice rink for curling competitions.

The National Stadium and Wukesong Stadium

will be the venues for the male and female ice hockey games.

We only need to install some refrigeration equipment.

Therefore the cost won't be too high.

Furthermore, for snow sports

large amounts of private capital

are flowing into snow sports.

Because snow sports is a popular sport industry

that is closely connected with tourism, local hotels

and the service industry.

Therefore, a number of social or private capital

have joined the planning of ski resorts.

So the input of the government will be much less than before.

(COMING OF AGE CHINA AFTER BEIJING 2008)

(GENTING RESORT ZHANGJIAKOU)

(POTENTIAL SITE FOR THE 2022 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES)

(JUST SEVEN YEARS AFTER HOSTING BEIJING 2008)

(CHINA SUCCEEDED IN ITS BID)

(TO HOST THE 2022 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES)

(PREPARATIONS ARE NOW UNDERWAY ACROSS CHINA)

(FOR THE NATION'S THIRD OLYMPIC GAMES IN 14 YEARS)

(BEIJING AND THE NEIGHBOURING CITY OF ZHANGJIAKOU)

(ARE BUILDING WINTER SPORTS FACILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE)

(TO HOST WHAT THE GOVERNMENT DESCRIBES

(AS A HIGHLY EFFICIENT WINTER GAMES)

(BEIJING 2008 to 2022:)

(THE LEGACY CONTINUES IN WINTER SPORTS)

(LOS ANGELES 1984 OLYMPIC GAMES)

To recall Chinese Olympic history,

people generally think that it begins in 1984

when Xu Haifeng won the first gold medal.

But in fact, the Olympic Committee of China

returned to the Olympic family in 1979.

The first Olympic Games we joined were

the 1980 Winter Olympic Games in Lake Placid.

The best place the China delegation got

was 16th place in speed skating.

It was said that for sports like cross-country skiing,

our athletes had not completed the course

by the time the winners had finished their meals.

Back then, our performance at the Winter Olympics

was far from international standards.

From that time on, our ambition was to win

a gold medal at a Winter Olympic Games.

22 years later, I had the opportunity to be the one

who did that at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games.

I think I'm very lucky to be the first Chinese person

to win a gold medal at the Winter Olympic Games.

By the time I retired in 2006, I had a new goal.

I wanted to open my own ice skating school.

After ice skating for 23 years, I hoped to have a place

where I can pass my skills on to younger generations.

This facility here in Shanghai is my school.

We started to recruit students in 2013.

Now we have our own short-track speed-skating team.

We also have a figure-skating team and an ice hockey team.

They are all very lovely children.

I spend every day with them.

I think they are the future of winter sports of our country.

In 2013, we officially opened to the public.

And my school started recruiting as well.

We have an ice hockey team, a figure-skating team

and a short-track speed-skating team.

We are the first and only professional ice rink in China

that is independent and market-driven.

We also have a small professional team.

The members have migrated here from Heilongjiang province.

They have come here because I hired their coach

to be our short-track speed-skating team coach.

So they came here together.

As for the dreams of these children,

they are from 12 to 14 which is the right age.

And their hope is that they can have the chance

to participate in the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

When we were bidding for 2022, one of our initiatives

that really touched the committee members

was a programme we called 300 Million People on Ice and Snow.

Many people in China felt this idea is not

something we normally associate with winter sports.

Because we all know winter sports have always been

concentrated in the three provinces of northeast China

or just Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces.

However, in the bidding for the Winter Olympic Games this time

we proposed this plan.

The popularity of winter sports

must be extended beyond northeast China,

and reach even further south than just Beijing.

So we have a strategy called

"North winter sports spreading to the South and West".

It means we should develop winter sports in South China.

Even in West China we will develop winter sports.

With such a strategy,

local governments throughout China as well as

some private enterprises

will understand how the country is focusing its efforts

on winter sports.

(QINGDAO, CHINA)

(GUOXIN ICE RINK)

(SITUATED ON THE EAST COAST OF CHINA)

(QINGDAO WAS NEVER CONSIDERED A HUB FOR WINTER SPORTS)

(THINGS HAVE STARTED SHIFTING

(SINCE BEIJING WON THE BID TO HOST)

(THE 2022 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES)

Qingdao is part of the national strategy

that is spreading winter sports from the north

to the south and west.

In the past, we only had winter sports in Northeast China -

Jilin, Heilongjiang and Liaoning.

Only they had professional teams.

And most of the team members were from those provinces.

Then the government wanted to promote mass sports

throughout the entire nation.

Children and parents in the south also wanted to

participate in winter sports.

I think there is lots of fun in winter sports.

It is attractive to children and their parents.

I come from Northeast China.

I had been practising for several years

in north-east China.

And I heard that there is a team here, a new team.

The coach and leader here are very kind.

The city is also very attractive.

I think Qingdao will surely become the biggest competitor

of the three provinces in Northeast China.

I was watching TV at home.

It was showing the Winter Olympic Games.

Then I saw Victor An competing.

And after seeing him, he has become my idol ever since.

I felt so excited seeing him.

So I wanted to become a short-track speed skater.

The snow sports association in Qingdao is also preparing

to further develop winter sports in this city,

including building more ski slopes and ice rinks.

I think children from the south will be encouraged.

Because now they also have the opportunity to participate

in the Olympic Games.

Now it's possible for them to represent China to compete.

That is the dream of every child.

(CHINA HAS CONTINUED TO STRIKE GOLD)

(AT EVERY OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES SINCE SALT LAKE CITY 2002)

(VANCOUVER 2010 WAS HAILED A BREAKTHROUGH FOR CHINA)

(WITH FIVE GOLD MEDALS)

(AND FINISHING SEVENTH IN THE MEDAL TABLE)

(FIGURE SKATING CHAMPION PAIR ZHAO HONGBO AND SHEN XUE)

(IN PARTICULAR BECAME BIG STARS IN CHINA)

(AFTER THEIR HISTORIC WIN AT VANCOUVER 2010)

My most unforgettable memory was the moment

while waiting for the word "Beijing" to be announced.

Maybe it's because we used to be figure-skating athletes.

We were accustomed to sitting at the side

and waiting for the scores.

In the moment Beijing was announced,

it was like we were waiting for our own scores.

When it happened, many people noticed that

I was the first to jump out of my seat.

That was because I had this habit

while waiting for scores as a figure-skating athlete,

and in our minds we were thinking of "Beijing, Beijing".

The International Olympic Committee

has the honour to announce

the host city of the Olympic Winter Games 2022.

Beijing.

We have succeeded in our bid to host

the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

First, it will result in a new understanding

and more participation in winter sports

by Chinese people. Beyond that, we are intending to host

an environmentally friendly Olympic Games.

And we will re-use 2008 Olympic Games stadiums and venues.

For Beijing to host

both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games,

it has great significance for our country.

Winter sports are now being promoted everywhere in China.

I believe in 2022 when we host the Winter Olympic Games,

the number of winter sports participants

will reach 300 million.

Now, in addition to our top athletes training intensively,

there are also great numbers of students

joining winter sports clubs.

After we won the championship

in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games,

figure-skating clubs all over China filled with students.

And the number of clubs is increasing exponentially.

(AFTER RETIRING IN 2010 ZHAO HONGBO AND SHEN XUE)

(HAVE CONTINUED TO PROMOTE FIGURE SKATING

(THROUGHOUT CHINA)

(ZHAO HONGBO NOW COACHES)

(CHINA'S NATIONAL FIGURE SKATING TEAM IN BEIJING)

(SHUN XUE IS INVOLVED IN HELPING TO ORGANISE)

(THE BEIJING 2022 WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES)

After China's successful bid for the 2022 Winter Olympics,

figure skating will get more support

financially and technically.

And there is a growing emphasis on

both the artistic and technical aspects of training.

Of course there's pressure

in hosting our first Winter Olympic Games.

I certainly hope my athletes

can stand on the highest podium.

Now I'm trying to build a team.

From the couples amongst my team members

I hope to make them the world's best figure skating team.

We are trying our best to be the best,

in order to win medals at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

Zhao Hongbo, our coach, inspired us in many ways,

from our performance

to the communication between the two of us.

As well as how to magnify your feelings on the ice,

and influence both the judges and the audience.

The most important thing he has taught us is

how to be professional athletes.

And he's done this

by relating many of his own personal experiences.

It has actually saved us a lot of career detours.

So we can reach our goal faster, with less setbacks.

For athletes, training methods, training systems and equipment

have all greatly improved since 2008.

We have gradually realised the importance of

reasonable and systematic training.

(THEY ARE CURRENTLY CHINA'S TOP FIGURE SKATING PAIR)

We have studied choreography overseas.

And we have seen how foreign athletes train every day.

How they balance their food nutrition every day,

how many hours they train each day

and what equipment they use to help them train.

I think this is the biggest improvement for us since 2008.

I think we do our best every day,

and improve every day.

Then we can realise our dreams

at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

For us, I think we care more about enjoying

the process of the competition.

People's attitude towards sports has changed,

because our country is changing.

We hope that both Chinese people and foreigners

understand that this isn't just about pursuing gold medals.

It's about enjoying the extraordinary

and exhilarating moments of our lives.

And I think this is the beauty of sports.

If an athlete has good scores at the Olympic Games

or wins an Olympic gold medal,

it's very helpful for promoting this sport.

Because winning Olympic gold medal...

For example, because Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo

won figure-skating gold medal at 2010 Vancouver Olympics,

more people became interested in figure skating.

It becomes a focus for people.

We worked together with them producing

Amazing on Ice,

which is a figure-skating roadshow.

We invited their friends, who are also Olympic

figure-skating gold medallists,

to be art directors,

showing their own interpretations

of figure skating

and touring in China.

I believe in the next six years

and by 2022,

there will be more people more familiar with winter sports,

with their histories,

and be more interested in winter sports.

Because in China, many people have never skied or skated once

for their entire lives,

and many people have never watched skiing

or ice skating before.

And thanks to Beijing 2022

I believe winter sports will have gained

tens of millions of fans and participants.

I think by having Beijing to be the host city for

the 2022 Winter Olympic Games,

the International Olympic Committee

has made a good decision.

Because by having this Olympic Games,

it will really affect hundreds of millions of people,

and have this many people start to like winter sports.

If we describe Beijing 2008 as a Summer Olympic Games baptism,

I believe that the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Games will be

a winter sports baptism with even greater effects.

Saudi Arabia Is Finished | Everybody's Lying About Islam 1 - Duration: 6:20.

Ladies and Gentlemen Saudi Arabia as we know it is Finished.

They're toast.

Western Government and Media are currently in denial over this.

The Western relationship with Saudi Arabia has been a great money spinner, with a few

downsides.

Folks don't want to admit it's over.

But the basics are clear.

Standard Oil of California struck oil in Saudi Arabia in 1938.

Since then the country's history has been pretty straightforwardly tied to the price

of oil.

Since the 1970s that price has steadily spiraled upward.

As that price reached stratospheric new heights, the Saudis found new ways to spend it.

That's over now.

I've talked about this at greater length elsewhere, but the old upward pressures on

the price are gone, and there's an ever growing set of downward pressures.

It'll be at least a decade before we see 100 Dollar a barrel oil again.

It's possible that the price will hit 60 dollars over the next couple years...

But even that's unlikely.

As the price got ever higher, the welfare responsibilities and budget of the Saudi government

got higher as well.

Petro-States like Saudi Arabia tend to have a break-even price in their budget forecasts.

This is the price point they need to run the country without borrowing money.

Since 2014, and probably before, that budgeted price point has been dramatically higher than

the actual price.

In 2016 the Saudi's crammed the budgeted price down massively, and it's still 15

bucks over the actual price of oil.

Basically Saudi Arabia is screwed.

Last year's hot new thing was Prince Muhammad bin Sultan, who has jumped the line in the

Saudi succession.

He's kind of a Saudi Jared Kushner, granted great powers on the strength of his family

ties alone.

Apparently he has a plan.

He wants to turn Saudi Arabia into a hub for innovation and international business.

You know.

Like Dubai…

Bwhah hah hah hah ahah

I'm sorry.

This is simply not going to work.

The difference between Saudi Arabia and Gulf Countries like Dubai is very stark.

None of these countries are real countries.

They live on petroleum, not taxes, and they are welfare distributors more than they are

welfare states.

Without the protection of the United States they wouldn't last a year.

The majority of the population of these countries is made up of immigrant labor, who serve a

small pampered class of rich citizens.

Most of the immigrants are laborers from Asia, who live in conditions that have been compared

to slavery.

But a couple percentage points are made up of Western bankers and assorted shady business

types.

These are the people Saudi Arabia would need to attract to become a center of business

and innovation.

Have you ever been to Dubai?

I haven't, but I understand it's quite a party city.

The UAE keeps its shady western business people happy.

Most of the gulf countries officially support hardcore religion.

But it doesn't really matter.

The few citizens these countries have are too rich to care what their paychecks get

up to.

Saudi Arabia is different though.

It has the population of a real country.

And the hardcore religion the royal family pushes is the only thing keeping that population

in line.

It's something I like to call the Saudi balancing act.

Live like a king, and keep your people in line with crazy fundamentalist Islam.

There are large populations of impoverished Saudi Arabians, and they only support the

Saudi royal family because of hardcore religion.

Men and women are not allowed to mix publicly in Saudi Arabia.

Can you imagine turning Riyadh or Jeddah into a party city like Dubai?

The Sauds would fall in a week if they tried it…

This Vision 2030 stuff is a fantasy.

They can build all the theme parks they want.

Nobody's coming.

Saudi Arabia is toast.

This presents a problem for the United States, because we've been in bed with the Saudis

for over 70 years.

Whoever comes after the Saudi Royal family, is very likely to hate the US of A. It's

a problem, but it's also an opportunity.

Because that crazy of version of Islam the Saudis have been pushing for half a century

is at the root of a lot of the world's problems.

Everything from ISIS, to the disaster that is US foreign policy, to world-wide radical

Islamic terrorism has Saudi religion at its root.

We're in the middle of a historic opportunity.

Right now.

If we in the US reevaluate our relationship with Saudi Arabia, we can move on from this

ridiculous and tragic phase of history in the Middle East.

I'll be talking about this a lot more on this channel, but if you want to get the full

story, I suggest you pick up my essay Everybody's Lying About Islam, available now on the Amazon

Kindle.

Thanks for watching.

Dragon Ball Review Resolution of Soldiers Gohan vol.4 - Duration: 3:36.

Very good day saiyans the world Welcome to a new video and

Monday to a new review. In which

let's talk of revolution figures of soldiers

the revolution of the soldiers who are seeing here behind.

Voucher? Behoove Son Gohan is the volume number 4

The volume would already Future Trunks with hair Larguita

that we have out there. And volume 6

who still has not reached me, it is

Son Gohan try to future eye. A

I figure quite eager to have already at home

because it is a character that still

I have not gotten figure. Well, transporting us

a bit like we're talking about now, it would be a figure

because as you know, it is based on the

in the saga of cell, in which good, or Cell

for Latin American friends

because it is then that Son Gohan is

teeny okay?

in fact it is the smallest figure but because the character requires it,

the character is small, but still

being tiny, it has a quality

pretty, pretty good and then

It is the best you will see it, so let's do this.

Well guys because ye see the box in question.

Soldiers are seeing Resolution of Volume 4

right here right?

It is a collection of Banpresto

which is here, it is your logo, and well,

Toei sticker that is an official product.

On the back, as we have the usual okay?

what of these collections. We have

figure Gohan and the prototype color

gray. I...

I mean, I always recommend that if you WANT to collection

or to incorporate

I recommend your figures with the color version always

It is prettier okay? Well, let's what

the figure in question.

Are seeing is just this.

It would separate head on one side

and the body on the other right? and the base

which it is right here

then we can put the character as well. All right,

we have Gohan in the Cell saga, in which

Well, it has, let's bring it a little more for

that you see the face expression is very very

worked.

This figure is the smallest so far, the

collection. The smallest and lightest okay? weighs absolutely

almost nothing.

Well, as we have here

hair

and color shades suit okay? It is there as

petándose knuckles

and figure as well, is very very elaborate.

To find him a snag, maybe, my

perception, perhaps through the camera is not shown if

I found it too yellow

intense okay? A tonito a little more

low, would have been much better.

Agree? because it looks like an orange yellow

especially areas back here, but hey,

for the rest, the truth is that is very well

worked

and the expression of the character, the captures

well

making it perfectly.

Pricewise it does not change right? They are figures

having a standard price, 20, 25

euros, depending on where the buy some

but because it is smaller or larger does not change the price.

agree? or a character or another.

Well, as this would be it, I hope you liked the video

and see you in the next. See you soon.

Future Focus: What are Labs? - Duration: 1:31.

So, the thing that I love about the

Future Focus events is being able to get

some time out of the business and all

the crazy day-to-day activity to spend

some time thinking about a bigger

picture of our business where we want to

go, listening to some new ideas and

just having the space to really think

about how I'm going to put that to work

in the business when I get back to the office.

It's really difficult sometimes get the

time to go and see someone really

inspirational and we just don't do it.

So actually having an event put on locally

for us, in a great environment with a

great speaker, gave me that

opportunity to go along and with no

excuses gets some real valuable input.

The thing i love about the labs here is that

you get to hear lots of different perspectives on

the problems you have or the issues

that you're thinking about from people

who are in all different stages of a

business so from complete start-ups to

been around 30 years and have offices all

around the UK. And I think it's just it's

really interesting to hear about what

they would suggest from their very

different perspectives and also to hear

about the problems that they have and

kind of just take inspiration from the

way they're dealing with them as well.

It enabled me to have some clarity about

my thoughts, challenge myself in a really

safe, comfortable working environment.

Jaipur City Guide | Rajasthan India Travel Video - Duration: 10:33.

Well good morning.

Today we are in Jaipur (जयपुर).

We're visiting the Pink City.

Neither of us is wearing pink.

No we were color coordinated for Jodhpur the Blue City but yeah I don't think we have anything

pink in our wardrobe.

Nothing pink.

Maybe we'll pick something up today as a souvenir.

Um but yeah today we have signed up for a full day tour from 9am to 6pm.

And it is basically a bus tour that is going to be taking us to the main highlights in

Jaipur (जयपुर).

So busy day.

And we don't have a lot of time in Jaipur (जयपुर) and this is a city I visited

several years ago and I did this tour and attractions are really spread out here so

I think this is going to be a good way for us to see everything along with my parents.

And yeah, we don't we only have one really full day to do this.

So yeah we are trying to cram in a lot today.

So yeah let's get started.

Alright the bus is here.

Let's go.

So we are finally off the bus.

We drove around for about an hour picking up people.

A little longer than I was expecting and we have arrived at our first stop.

It is Laxmi Narayan Temple.

A bit of a complicated name.

And we only have 15 minutes here.

So we've got to run around and visit this quickly.

Also known as Birla Mandir, this is a Hindu temple, dedicated to Vishnu and Lakshmi.

While Hindu deities are depicted inside the temple, the outside walls showcase figures

from different faiths.

Oh this 1st stop was quite rushed.

We had 15 minutes but they force you to leave your shoes outside and pay for them.

So it is like 5 minutes to drop them off because there is a really long line.

Then maybe 5 minutes to actually visit the temple and then another 5 minutes to collect

your shoes and rush back to the bus.

So yeah, I hope the whole day isn't like this.

But yeah I'm not too impressed so far.

So Sam paid to go in to the temple.

Actually well I just had to pay for the shoes yeah.

1 Rupee.

Didn't exactly break the bank.

What did you think of it?

Yeah, it was an interesting temple.

It is really large obviously marble and white.

And inside you can't take photos or videos so unfortunately I can't show you what it

is like inside.

Womp womp.

We then hopped back on the bus, drove past the Albert Hall Museum, and continued to the

next stop on our itinerary: Jantar Mantar (जंतर मंतर).

The name Jantar Mantar (जंतर मंतर) translates to 'calculating instrument',

and it is a collection of 19 structures that date back to the 18th century.

These instruments were used to predict eclipses, track stars, and measure time.

So we are currently visiting Jantar Mantar (जंतर मंतर) and we're having

a bit of hard time keeping up with our guide.

But from what we gather this is basically like an observatory and it was used to track

the movements of stars and planets and the sun and to study everything related to astronomy.

So there is a lot of like really cool instruments.

There is like these weird constructions so we're going to show you some of that.

Is our guide around?

From there it was just a short walk to the City Palace.

Like most of the city, the palace is also painted pink, which is the colour of hospitality.

This was done in 1876, to welcome the Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria when they did

their India tour.

Inside the palace complex, you can visit a museum and the armoury, or just walk around

snapping photos.

So Sam ditched the tour group to go shopping.

I did because I've been like in the past I collected hats and I still do but these days

I'm collecting polo shirts.

And India has the coolest polo-shirts.

This is like the um Jaipur different colors.

I saw a very similar shirt of like an old polo shirt in one of the museums and it looks

so much like this.

So I'm really happy to get this colorful one.

And then of course Jaipur (जयपुर).

Jaipur is the pink city.

Oh la lah.

I can't to wear those.

So I've already got Jodhpur and yeah I'm going to keep collecting them.

Hopefully I can get one in Kolkata as well.

That is going to be coming up soon.

So we have ditched the guide for now but he knows we're going to meet him at the exit

and this is so much better.

We're just walking around freely, enjoying the city palace and check out these colors.

Everything is pink and outlined with white designs.

It is really really cool.

So yeah, I'm having a good time even if I'm not enjoying the tour necessarily.

We have ended up at a place called Shopping Paradise.

I'm pretty sure we're only here because the guide gets commission.

So he's trying to force everyone to come in.

Even though some people have already been shopping.

So yeah.

Not impressed.

So we are now at the Jaigarh Fort (जयगढ़ क़िला).

This is again a very quick visit.

So we basically have 20 minutes to see as much as we can.

Uh, you get some pretty cool views of the area.

But the landscape is quite barron.

Uh, so yeah we're just going to have a quick walk around.

From the Jaigarh Fort (जयगढ़ क़िला) it was a short drive to Nahargarh Fort and

Palace.

I wish I could tell you we got to see a bit of the palace, but as you've probably already

noticed, the theme of the day was rush, rush, rush, so we grabbed a quick bite of food and

carried on.

Hungry.

I am.

So we got pav bhaji (पाव भाजी).

I think that is what it is called.

I'm guessing the pao comes from the Portuguese influence.

Pao is bread in Portuguese.

And the bhaji came with cheese.

I don't even know what this is but it has got melted cheese on top.

Should I add some red onions?

Sure.

I'm going to have some onion breath all day.

And Sam is sitting next to me.

So lucky me.

How is that?

Mmmm.

Tasty.

It is like a sloppy Joe.

Indian sloppy Joe.

That is a good way of putting it.

So we just finished lunch and now we're visiting Nahargarh Fort and Palace.

We're just wandering around aimlessly because the guide has disappeared again.

We didn't want to eat at the restaurant he was taking us to.

Um because it was really expensive so we had a fast food instead.

Um, yeah right now we're visiting one of the old step wells and it is pretty cool.

People would have liked to climbed down the stairs to go fetch water.

You can see that behind me.

And yeah we only have a few more minutes left here so we're going to try and see as much

as we can before we move on.

But the tour is almost over.

I think we only have like 2 or 3 more stops for today.

And then that is it.

We then hopped back on the bus to go visit our third fort of the day: the Amer Fort (आमेर

क़िला).

On the way down, we got a quick glimpse at Jal Mahal, the Lake Palace, which sits in

the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

We noticed there were men with row boats, so if you visit with a bit more time, that's

an activity to consider.

Next stop of the day is the Amber Fort (आमेर क़िला).

It is a little backlit at the moment.

But there you have it in the background and there is Sam taking some photos.

What do you think?

This is your second time here.

Well we've been to quite a few forts today so we decided not to take the jeep all the

way up.

Instead we noticed there was some nice light coming down from the ground level and from

the lake.

So here we are.

We're exploring it this way instead.

By foot.

Making friends Audrey.

Yes.

Who is this.

My new friend.

My pup.

Hello fur buddy.

Hello pup.

Hello fur friend.

The little fur friend.

Fur friend is feeling shy.

Hello fur friend.

Hello.

Hello fur friend.

The rest of the day went downhill quickly when our guide started making commissioned

based shopping stops that weren't on the itinerary, so we just stopped filming, but

we got back into Jaipur (जयपुर) well after dark.

Well it is now time to wrap up our time in Jaipur (जयपुर).

Yeah, so confession time.

We're actually in Agra right now.

Whoops.

Got on a train yesterday.

Got on a train yesterday.

Uh the day after our tour we just chilled out.

We didn't film at all because the tour was kind of exhausting.

It was.

It really was.

It really was.

It just ended up going on for an hour and a half longer than it was supposed to and

it was already a long tour.

And it was mostly shopping stops at the end.

Yeah, so like in terms of because there is all of the different forts so spread out it

is not a bad way to see them but at the same time you are very rushed and you go to so

many different places I almost think doing it independently would be a little bit better.

That would be our tip.

But anyways yeah the adventures here in Agra are about to begin so do follow us for that.

Bye.

Bye.

How Cyclops Became The Most Hated Marvel Character - Duration: 8:11.

As one of the original Uncanny X-Men back in 1963, Cyclops had a ton of potential.

He's always been a key member of the mutant squad, and his eyes can basically punch things,

so you'd think that would warrant a little more respect around the Marvel Universe.

But comic book writers have done a pretty great job of making Scott Summers Marvel's

most hated hero.

Let's take a look at the many ways this mutant leader went from being kind of cool to kind

of a creep.

A lousy lover

Cyclops has a pretty awful history when it comes to how he treats women, whether it's

his girlfriend, cloned wife, or just some random swamp floozy he's trying to move on

with.

When he believes his longtime girlfriend, Jean Grey, is dead from a volcanic explosion

in Uncanny X-Men #113, what does Scott do?

He gets over his grief pretty quick and starts dating Marvel mainstay Colleen Wing.

Then, Cyclops straight-up dumps Wing once he finds out that Jean is still alive, and

proposes in Uncanny X-Men #136… but Jean dies again as the Dark Phoenix an issue later.

By issue #144, he's back at it with some lady in Florida named Lee Forrester.

We'll chalk all that up to bad dating habits...but it gets worse.

Cyclops marries his dead fiancee's clone, Madelyne Pryor, in Uncanny X-Men #175.

And then he doesn't even treat his clone-wife well.

It's eventually revealed that Pryor was a tool in Mister Sinister's nefarious plans,

but well before that revelation, Cyclops had already started hanging out with Jean Grey,

back from the dead for the hundredth time after hatching from a weird ocean cocoon,

leaving his wife at home with a young Cable in some cyborg Huggies.

Madelyne does get her sort-of revenge, hooking up with Cyclops' brothers, becoming the Goblin

Queen, and raising some hell.

But when Madelyn dies later, Jean Grey actually mourns harder than Scott does for his own

former wife and baby-mamma.

And we can't even get into which of these Jean Greys were actually Jean Grey… and

which were actually the Phoenix in Jean Grey form.

It gets complicated.

Anyway, even after ditching his family for a back-from-the-dead-for-real Jean Grey, he

decides his new relationship is getting a little tired.

Since, like, constant death and resurrection isn't spicy enough.

Ever the loyal lover, Scott tries to liven things up with some telepathic "therapy" from

Emma Frost... who's dressed up as Phoenix.

Since he's married to another immensely powerful psychic, Jean quickly discovers his telepathic

tryst.

So what does Cyclops do?

He tries to weasel his way out of it, claiming their liaisons didn't count because they weren't

physical.

And did we mention this?

Somehow he also found time to hook up with Storm.

And who the heck is this?!

Maybe his eyes aren't the only part of his body that he can't control.

Maybe he should invest in some ruby quartz underwear.

And that is why you fail as husband material, Mr. Summers.

Work over family

Being the unpaid leader of Charles Xavier's mutant squad is not an easy job, especially

when humans mostly just hate you constantly.

Sometimes, an X-Man just wants to get married, settle down, and spawn an omega-level mutant

or two.

Not Scott Summers, though.

Despite getting married to the aforementioned Madelyne Pryor, Cyclops never left his super-villain

battling life behind, continually putting the needs of the team before the needs of

his growing family.

If Cyclops was the sole mutant out there capable of paying it forward, that'd be one thing.

But the X-Men and the Xavier Institute are both overflowing with butt-kicking mutants.

Like Dummy.

And Beak.

And…

Glob Herman?

Anyway, even Storm confronted Scott at one point over his dereliction of family duties.

His response?

Well, he challenged her to a duel, of course… and he lost, even though Storm didn't use

her powers.

He built a murder squad

The mutant team known as X-Force was always a bit rough around the edges, and often found

themselves at odds with both the X-Men and the government, as well as the anti-mutant

groups they battled.

None of these problems were helped by Cyclops being an extremely divisive leader.

In Uncanny X-Men #493, Scott Summers shows some early signs of being a total fascist

by reorganizing the team to kill his own son, Cable.

As if tracking and murdering your own kid wasn't bad enough, he took the traumatized

teenage killing machine, X-23, on board.

He encouraged her murdery tendencies rather than helping her reform, which went against

Wolverine's wishes.

And that, of course, earned him a good ol' Logan punch to the face.

"Prove it."

"You're a d---."

And naturally, Cyclops disavows any knowledge of X-Force's actions — until he's caught

red-handed by the rest of the X-Men.

And it's far from the last time Cyclops would be a dangerous extremist.

He brought Phoenix back

Over the years, the X-Men have dealt with more than their fair share of ridiculously

powerful beings.

But few of their foes matched the devastating Phoenix Force.

Cyclops didn't just deal with this cosmic firestorm on numerous occasions…he basically

married the woman who was possessed by it.

But despite enjoying far too much face time with a creature that once destroyed an entire

populated world out of spite, Scott Summers decided to welcome it back to Earth during

the Avengers vs. X-Men event.

The Phoenix Force breaks apart and chooses to join with him and four fellow mutants.

But it turns out that just one part of the Phoenix Force isn't enough, so he steals some

from his on-again, off-again girlfriend Emma Frost, making himself nearly omnipotent.

Insane with power, Cyclops goes full-Dark Phoenix and tries to kill pretty much everyone.

In the penultimate issue, the altruistic Professor X tried to help Cyclops escape his cosmic

power trip.

But Scott declined, forcing Xavier to lay the psychic smack-down on him.

Unfortunately, even an omega-level mutant like Professor X is no match for the intergalactic

might of the Phoenix, and he's absolutely, totally murdered by Cyclops.

All of this even before he's taken over by the Phoenix Force, so he can't even really

blame the alien entity for being a jerkbag.

In the end, he's stripped of his powers, and Scott winds up in prison, moaning about his

public image.

Because it's all about him, right?

From hero to radical

Merging himself with the corrupting Phoenix Force, and having it literally punched out

of him, would probably be enough to make most superheroes go cold turkey for a while.

But Cyclops never seems to learn his lesson.

Many readers agree that the downward spiral began with 2000's X-Men #97, when he merged

with Apocalypse, but things only got worse after the Phoenix thing.

In Avengers vs. X-Men: Consequences, Magneto and his crew bust Cyclops out of super jail.

The X-Man then goes on to declare a mutant revolution, threatening anyone and everyone

with the wrong end of an optic blast.

In the months following his "death" in Death of X, Summers even inspires a crew of brutal

mutant thugs to carry on his genocidal uprising, a not-so-merry band that calls themselves

"The Ghosts of Cyclops."

You guys, Cyclops isn't just a jerk.

He's kind of a full-fledged war criminal.

And that includes an earlier incident from Secret Invasion, where he intentionally infects

an invading force of Skrulls with the Legacy virus, which is incredibly bad news, and had

the potential to spread just about everywhere, very quickly.

Aren't there, like, laws about this kind of thing?

He incited war from beyond the grave

When Cyclops discovers that a weird fog has killed the mutants on Muir island during the

Death of X storyline, including Multiple Man Jamie Madrox, fingers are immediately pointed

at The Inhumans, and their transformative "Terrigen mists."

In an effort to destroy the mutant-blighting mists, Cyclops recruits a small army, including

a chemical whiz kid named Alchemy who pretty much wants nothing to do with a mutant war,

and ends up getting killed while neutralizing just one of a few of the toxic fart clouds.

At the end of the battle, Cyclops is killed by Black Bolt's ridiculous singing voice,

becoming a martyr for everything wrong with the pro-mutant cause.

Except Cyclops wasn't even alive at the time.

He was killed by the mutant plague before the first issue even ended, and from then

on, he was only a deranged psychic projection created by Emma Frost.

Sadly, dead men have no PR departments, so it's easy to understand why so many people

ended up hating Cyclops.

But his worst crime of all?

He's named Cyclops….

And he has two eyes.

What a freakin' liar.

The Real Reason Why Cats Purr - Duration: 5:56.

Cats: the Egyptians worshipped them, the Internet loves them, and almost no one understands them.

Why do they purr?

What's all the meowing about?

"Hey!

Hey!"

Let's explore the feline brain and get to the bottom of it.

Wild at heart

"Meow."

No one's sure when cats first moved into our homes and our hearts, but it's probably between

5,000 and 10,000 years ago.

By comparison, dogs have been domesticated for around 40,000 years, and over those years

we've selectively bred hundreds of types to fill certain roles, from hunting and herding

to nestling into purses.

Cats, on the other paw?

Experts say the 40 or so breeds of housecat are semi-domesticated or self-domesticated

at best, meaning they're choosing to tolerate being tamed.

Slightly.

In exchange for creature comforts … but would totally still stalk and kill a sparrow

if given the chance.

Genetically, the domestic housecat still has most of its DNA in common with its wild cousins,

and unlike many dog breeds, cats could survive quite well if they were released into the wild.

Cat code

Cats have developed a super-top-secret language that they use only to communicate with humans:

meowing.

"Meow."

Yep: that's just for us!

Cats that live together don't usually meow to each other, and studies of feral cat colonies

have found that cats in feline-only company are actually pretty quiet.

It's people they won't shut up around …

"You should take a walk in the woods."

"What's going on here?"

"And then have a talk in the woods."

Okay, so not like that.

But researchers in 2013 showed that cat owners, after listening to a recording of a dozen

different cats meowing, were able to understand the context of only one meow: the one coming

from their own cat.

In other words, your cat learns to make specific meows in order to get what it wants out of

you — it's not some universal cat language.

Op-PAW-sites attract

Animal psychologists wanted to see which paw certain cats favored, so they gave 42 different

cats a small jar with a bit of tuna in it.

The only way they could get it out was to reach in and, well, fish it out — like how

this cat is retrieving some milk — which would reveal their dominant paw.

Surprisingly, the results were split almost perfectly based on the sex of the cat.

There were 21 males and 21 females in the test, and after dozens of trials, 20 of the

males were left-pawed, with one ambidextrous over-achiever, while twenty of the females

were right-pawed, with one favoring the left.

The experts say this probably has something to do with hormone levels, and it's only true

when performing particularly challenging feats.

"Meow."

Two-way street

Everybody knows somebody who's allergic to cats, so they miss out on the joys of living

with a plastic pee and poop-filled box in their house at all times.

But it's estimated that about 1 in every 200 cats suffers from a cat version of asthma,

which looks and sounds like this:

The biggest cause?

People.

The monsters.

That's right: plenty of cats are allergic to people, with human dandruff cited as a

major cause.

The asthma can also be triggered by other irritants that humans bring into their homes,

such as cigarette smoke.

Some cats can have such a powerful allergic reaction to humans and their habits they could

suffer collapsed lungs or even broken ribs.

Asthmatic cats can usually have their conditions managed, but vets consider it incurable.

So when Fred Flintstone smoked his Winstons, not only was he killing himself, he was taking

down that pet saber-toothed tiger, too.

No wonder it kept locking Fred out …

"Wilma!"

"BANG BANG"

Walking heat maps

Here's a less-depressing feline fact: Some cats are heat-sensitive, and can change the

color of their fur based on their environment.

How cool is that?

There are eight different sets of genes in each cat that governs what color they're going

to be.

Siamese cats and their close cousins have a gene modifier called a Siamese allele.

That modifier blocks color from getting to the cat's fur, which should, in theory, make

them albinos.

But it doesn't, because it's only activated by heat.

Once the temperature gets up to around 100 degrees, the color stops.

That's why the cooler parts of a Siamese cat's body, such as the nose, ears, and paws, are

usually dark, while the rest of their fur stays light.

It doesn't just happen once — Siamese cats can change color any time when the temperature

of their environment changes.

So this means their paws actually lighten if covered for long enough with a bandage,

or if you made them wear socks or mittens...

"Finally, there's an elegant, comfortable mitten for cats!"

"Meow."

"I couldn't hear anything!"

Why cats purr

While it's true that cats purr when they're happy, that's not what the purring means — or

the only time cats do it.

Experts say that the most accurate translation of a purr is something like "Don't go anywhere,

please."

They're asking to be cared for, not telling you how happy your care is making them.

But cats also purr when they're injured or scared, and researchers think that it has

something to do with the healing power of the purr.

Cats purr at a frequency of 26 hertz, the same frequency that's been found to promote

healing in bone and other body tissues.

Sounds crazy, right?

But it's the same idea behind exercise for rehabilitation in humans: bones respond to

pressure by making themselves stronger.

It also might be why healthy cats will often curl up with an injured cat and purr.

They're trying to help regrow its bones.

How cool is that?

Nice job, cats.

The Kennedy Grandchildren Have Grown Up To Be Gorgeous - Duration: 11:26.

The Kennedys are the closest thing America has to resident royalty, and it looks like

the famous family will stay in the public eye through its next generation. Now, the

grandchildren of John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy are starting to go out on their own

and make a difference in the world in their own way. Here are some some things you didn't

know about the Kennedy grandchildren.

Rose Schlossberg

Caroline Kennedy was the only child of JFK to have children — she had three after marrying

Edwin Schlossberg in 1986. The eldest of the JFK grandchildren, Rose Schlossberg graduated

from Harvard with a degree in English and got her Masters in the Interactive Telecommunications

Program at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

Outside of being known as Jackie Onassis' modern day doppelganger, Rose is also something

of a comedian and runs a web series called End Times Girls Club, a satirical look at

beauty and makeup tutorials… which happen to be set during the apocalypse.

Tatiana Schlossberg

Rose's little sister Tatiana Schlossberg has wasted no time in cementing her career. After

graduating from Yale, Tatiana got an internship with the New York Times, which quickly led

to a job. Now, she's an environmental reporter for the science section of the legendary city

paper. Though Tatiana may not be pursuing an overtly political career, there's still

a political slant in her work. Her job as a reporter keeps her from injecting her opinion,

but it's clear that she won't let the political climate get in the way of scientific, environmental

facts.

Jack Schlossberg

JFK and Jackie O's one and only grandson, Jack Schlossberg has been making his mark

from a very young age. By eighth grade he co-founded a group called ReLight New York,

which aimed to provide lighting in low income housing. He's since enrolled at Yale and continues

to make a good impression. Jack hosted the Profile in Courage Award in 2014, and presented

an award to President George H. W. Bush, praising the Republican, despite Schlossberg's own

Democratic leanings. Kennedy Library Foundation chair Ken Feinberg had many kind words to

say about the motivated Kennedy grandson. He said, "Like his grandfather, he is no shrinking

violet and let all of us know — including the chair — exactly what he thought about

generational gaps and things, and gender and diversity – very, very helpful."

Joe Kennedy III

Robert F. Kennedy, JFK's younger brother, had 11 children, so he has a ton of grandkids

to carry on his legacy. The most political of all is Joe Kennedy III. Clearly, Joe is

following in the family footsteps, as he was elected to Massachusetts' fourth Congressional

district in 2012. In Congress, he's not simply riding the coattails of his family name. His

colleagues consider him a very hard worker and he goes out of his way to hear the points

of view of Democrats and Republicans alike.

When asked by Boston magazine about the pressures of politics with such a famous name, Representative

Kennedy replied, "People think my family pushed me into running for office. The person who

pushed me most not to run for office was my father. He said, 'If you don't want to do

this, it is going to be an absolutely brutal experience for you. So make sure that this

is something that you yourself want to do and not some sort of invented idea of obligation.'

And that's some of the best advice I've ever gotten."

Matthew Rauch Kennedy

Joe's fraternal twin, Matthew Rauch Kennedy, stays a little more behind the scenes in the

political world. After studying business at Stanford and Harvard, Matthew advised his

brother's campaign. Though Matthew is just as hardworking as his brother, he's known

to have a little more fun and ultimately ended up leaving politics behind altogether to become

a partner at InfraLinx Capital.

Michaela Cuomo

Having a Kennedy connection is auspicious enough, but Michaela Cuomo is part of two

big political families. Not only is she the granddaughter of Robert F. Kennedy, but she's

also the daughter of New York State governor Andrew Cuomo, and the granddaughter of former

New York governor Mario Cuomo. Though only 19, Michaela has already delved into activism,

raising money for sexual assault awareness with her risque tee-shirt design, for example.

Mariah and Cara Kennedy Cuomo

Twins and elder sisters of Michaela, Mariah and Cara Cuomo have grown up before our eyes

and have enrolled at Ivy League schools, like most good Kennedys do. Mariah's at Brown University

where she's had internships at CNN and Apple and worked as a young ambassador for UNICEF.

Meanwhile, Cara has a strong athletic record from her days at Deerfield Academy where she

lettered in field hockey, water polo, and skiing, where she served as a Captain. Both

of the girls have resumes listed on Linkedin, proving that they're ready to work hard and

get jobs the old fashioned way, rather than relying on their family name.

Robert Kennedy III

Oldest child of RFK Jr. and his first wife Emily Black, Robert Kennedy III has taken

to the artistic side of life rather than the political. He's a writer/director/producer,

and made the documentary ELEW: Live from Infinity about the musician Eric Lewis. He got a grant

in December 2016 to make a film called Freak Power, about Hunter S.Thompson's run for sheriff

in Pitkin County, Colorado in 1970. It's worth noting that even as an auteur, he's still

hovering around the life of a politico. He said of his film pitch, "I think it's going

to get people really pumped up about local politics — especially people from my generation,

who are kind of cut out from that right now. I just really want to motivate a lot of young

twenty- and thirty-year-olds to get back to voting and running for office. That's sort

of the goal of this film."

Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy

Robert isn't the only artist of the fam. Kathleen "Kick" Kennedy, daughter of RFK Jr. and his

first wife Emily Black, is an actress and philanthropist who's appeared on Gossip Girl

and Newsroom. She may pursue a ballot spot later on in life, though — there's a thin

line between political theater and stage theatrics. So who knows what kind of future Kick will

have down the line?

Kyra LeMoyne Kennedy

The daughter of Mary Kennedy and RFK Jr., Kyra LeMoyne Kennedy has had a lot of drama

in her life. Sadly, she's made headlines for poor behavior more often than her aspirational

cousins. After being refused entry to a club because she was underage, the then 19-year-old

reportedly said "I am a Kennedy, Google me. If you don't let me in, the governor will

be calling."

By 20, Kennedy got into hot water again in a cyber bullying scandal. After Allie Jones,

a New York Magazine blogger, wrote some less than stellar remarks about Kennedy and her

friends' rich-life Instagram accounts, Kennedy posted "I can play games too," as a comment

on a photo of Jones on Instagram, along with a few other vaguely threatening comments.

Kennedy's father banned Kyra from social media as punishment for her bullying behavior.

Though Kyra Kennedy may seem to be acting out, she's had a traumatic life. Her mother,

Mary, committed suicide when Kyra was only 16. Kyra's a prime reminder of why it's not

always fame and fun to be a Kennedy — even if you try to use it to get into clubs on

cue.

Conor Kennedy

Son of RFK Jr. and Mary Kennedy, Conor Kennedy has been seen at White House protests and

is an environmental activist. He's worked with Ocean Alliance, a group dedicated to

saving the whales. Conor's name has also come up in the tabloids a few times for his brief

relationship with Taylor Swift in 2012.

Even though the relationship didn't last, Conor was back in the headlines for an unfortunate

reason in 2016. He reportedly got into a bar fight in Aspen, Colorado. He apologized for

the fight, though he claimed he was only standing up for a friend who was called a derogatory

name.

Aidan and William "Finn" Kennedy

The youngest children of RFK Jr. and Mary Kennedy, Aidan and Finn are a bit too young

to make names for themselves just yet. Though, Aidan is a big sports fan and accidentally

got actress Cheryl Hines into trouble once. Hines was dating Robert Kennedy Jr. after

his split from Mary, and, according to the New York Post, she tweeted "Rabid, unhinged

New England zealotry by 10-yr.-old Aidan Kennedy has nearly turned me into Pats fan."

Though it all seemed innocuous, in hindsight, it read as a bit insensitive considering Mary

committed suicide a few weeks after Hines' happy family tweets. Hines and Kennedy married

in 2014 and the family seems to be trying to leave the tragedy in the past.

Kyle Francis, Rory, and Michael LeMoyne Kennedy Jr.

The children of Michael LeMoyne Kennedy are all impressive graduates. Kyle graduated from

Harvard and Georgetown, while Michael Kennedy Jr. also went to Georgetown and got his MBA

from Stanford. Thirdly, Rory Kennedy graduated from Georgetown and is a freelance writer

and photographer. While successful, these Kennedys are also victims of personal tragedy,

too. They all witnessed their father die in a skiing accident after playing a game of

"ski football," a Kennedy tradition. While Rory was reportedly recording the fun, their

dad crashed into a tree and died from a head injury.

Maeve, Kerry, Katherine, and Meaghan Anne Townsend

These four daughters of Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, former Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, have

all led interesting lives. Maeve, the eldest of the group, moved to Mozambique with the

Peace Corps right after college and had her first child in 2011.

During a conversation with Glamour, Maeve and sister Katherine talked about their loving,

but ambitious family life. Katherine commented, "We four Townsend girls competed about everything.

Grades. Sports. Who could be loudest at the dinner table." While those two might've enjoyed

that competitive upbringing, at least one sister has shied away from it.

Meaghan told Glamour that she went to Harvard thinking she'd study law or medicine. But

her life changed when she started taking yoga. She realized that she was much happier doing

yoga. Now, she's a yoga instructor in LA who's very content with the relaxed life, which

now includes a pair of twin babies!

Meanwhile, the youngest of the quartet, Kerry, was always a motivated girl. At 16, Kerry

told Glamour, "I think [my being so mature is] because Mom was lieutenant governor when

I was little, so she wasn't around like she was for my sisters. I became responsible early;

I started making my own lunch in kindergarten." Now, she's apparently studying medicine at

George Washington University and interned at the White House Office of Health Reform.

Clearly, she's just as focused now as she was in high school — and has eyes on the

kind of future her family name affords her.

Anthony Boru Kennedy

The children of Douglas Harriman Kennedy and Molly Stark are all a little too young to

be taking on the world stage, except for Anthony, who got into the papers at two days old. Douglas

Kennedy was charged with child endangerment and physical harassment when he tried to take

his newborn son, Anthony for a walk outside the hospital room. The nurses claim he physically

harmed them and fell during his attempt to leave the room. Though Kennedy's fall didn't

harm the baby, the nurses counted it as child endangerment in court. Kennedy was ultimately

acquitted of all charges.

Summer, Noah, and Max Kennedy, Jr.

Another young branch of the Kennedy family tree includes Caroline Summer Rose, Noah Isabella

Rose, and Matthew Maxwell "Max" Kennedy Jr. They have all, so far, stayed out of the public

eye, although their father, Matthew Maxwell Taylor Kennedy, is the acclaimed author of

Make Gentle the Life of This World, a collection of journal entries from his father Robert

F. Kennedy. He followed that up with Danger's Hour, a nonfiction book about the unexpected

dangers of kamikaze pilots in World War II. Whether his children will write a book about

him someday will be left for time to tell.

Saoirse Kennedy Hill

The only child of Courtney Kennedy Hill, Saoirse Kennedy hill has written about her struggle

with depression and mental health. She talks about a sexual assault from a friend that

led to a suicide attempt. When Hill returned for her senior year of high school after treatment,

she felt the lack of communication about her mental illness to be very strange and unsettling.

So, Hill used her difficulties with depression to reach out to others and create a more open

environment to discuss mental illness.

The Kennedy name will live on

We've taken a look at quite a few branches on the Kennedy family tree — and there are

even more Kennedy grandchildren than this. Clearly, despite the tragedies that have stricken

the family over the years, there are a lot of bright stars amongst them. And no matter

what new hardships may beset this iconic family, it looks like we'll all have Kennedys within

our arts and politics for years to come.

Shanghai상하이여행上海旅行〔China Trip Vlog#1〕 - Duration: 5:38.

Hello everyone, it's Dana.

I went on a trip to Shanghai China.

It has been while since I went abroad other than Korea.

I was a little worried about my trip to China because I cannot speak Chinese at all.

But I can read Chinese characters like station or name of place. It's much easier than Korean language.

Even if I don't know how to pronounce, I can memorize the Chinese characters familiar to me.

So I didn't get lost.

I've been to China many times.

Actually my first trip abroad was Shanghai China.

I was an engineer and our supplier had a factory in Shanghai China.

So I visited the factory in Shanghai on business.

I couldn't go sightseeing at that time because I had no free time.

I am happy to go sightseeing in Shanghai this time.

Shanghai has changed since my last visit.

I am surprised at skyscrapers that were under construction then.

Especially Shanghai Tower was amazing.

The Shanghai Tower is a 632-meter (2,073 ft), 128-story mega tall skyscraper in Shanghai

and the world's second-tallest building.

I stayed there on Saturday and Sunday.

So I only went to typical Chinese attractions for foreign visitors.

My itinerary on first day is as follows.

My flight left Nagoya Japan at 9:15

and arrived at Shanghai at 11:00.

I had Suzhou noodles(local specialty) for lunch.

I visited Shanghai Museum.

I took a walk around Tianzifang.

I dropped by YuYuan

I enjoyed the night view of Bund on a cruise Huangpu River.

Shanghai Museum

Bund

YuYuan

Huangpu River

I went shopping on 2nd day. I bought souvenir and silk products in East Nanjing Road area.

I bought this scarf at Tianzifang on my 1st day.

I headed to Pudong international airport in the evening

and came back to Centrair airport at night.

I got to Nagoya at 11pm.

East Nanjing Road

It was a whirlwind tour.

It takes two and a half hours by air from Nagoya to Shanghai

we can go on a weekend trip to Shanghai

To be honest, the museum was boring.

Tianzifang and Bund were amazing.

If you go to Shanghai, you must visit there!

Alright then, see you in the next video.

Thank you for watching I will see you guys soon.

Bye!

Bye.

Bye.
