me I had some amazing friends and my

whole family knew and it was something I could discuss with

them if I was ever feeling scared or something

and it just scares me so much that other people

go through this and they don't know what to do

they don't have someone that they can turn to

and it just scares me so much because I know how much it happens.. and I just

can't believe that it's still happening to

people and I just...

it happens to so many girls and everyone just keeps

getting away with it and if they

don't get away with it then they have to go

through a whole year of hell

when they're in the fucking courtroom and people telling them

that they're a liar or what were they wearing and how much had they been

drinking when it doesn't matter when they said no

I don't understand why it keeps happening or

how it keeps happening because.. I don't think people understand how deeply it affects

you it can just be one night. It can just be twenty

minutes. It can be no time at all

and it ruins your life for a long time, it's been

three-and-a-half years and I'm still

deeply affected by it sometimes and I

like to think I'm over it but

I don't think you ever get over it.. I don't think you ever get that you said no in that moment and

they didn't listen.. they did something, which you couldn't fight against

and you go through hell and you think like

what did I do to put myself in that situation or..

what if I hadn't gone out that night

although all these different things just

makes me think that if it hadn't been me it would've just been

another girl.. but it goes through your head and you.. and I think everybody does

they blame themselves, they blame themselves for being in that position. They blame

themselves because they're too drunk or

they were wearing that skirt, which they

shouldn't have done... but it's not their fault

at all because it doesn't matter as you said no and that shouldn't have happened

to you, and it shouldn't happen to anyone

(AGE: 21, DATE: JULY 2010, SPORT: ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS

(LOCATION: TOKYO, JAPAN)

In 2010, Kōhei was a rising star of his sport

and many believed that the 21-year-old

could become one of the greatest gymnasts of all time.

Physical strength is very important in gymnastics.

Young gymnasts have more strength...

..so that can be an advantage.

At this stage of his career,

Kōhei was living and training in Tokyo.

He'd taken up gymnastics at the age of three.

The Sydney Olympics took place

during my fifth year at elementary school.

Naoya Tsukahara was competing at those games

and I remember wishing I could be like him.

Kōhei was coached by former gymnast, Yoshiaki Hatakeda,

at the Nippon Sport Science University in Tokyo.

He can express movement that he visualises in his head.

He has a great ability to do this

compared to other gymnasts.

His sense of aerial positioning

and his overall feel is outstanding.

Kōhei made his Olympic debut at the 2008 Games in Beijing.

He surprised many by winning two silver medals.

It was my first Olympics and I was still a teenager

who didn't really know what was going on.

I practised hard, but I don't think

people expected too much from me.

Back in the 1960s and '70s, men's Artistic Gymnastics

had undergone a golden age in Japan,

but the success and popularity of the sport

had waned in the years that followed.

Kōhei hoped to change all that.

The Japanese team are not yet performing

at a world-class level.

We aren't yet recognised as the best team in the world.

Everyone already recognises Uchimura's ability

as a world-class gymnast.

I want him to continue putting in top performances

so everyone agrees that he is great.

My best event is the floor.

It has been my favourite ever since I was small.

It is my big strength.

At the 2012 London Olympics,

Kōhei would become the first Japanese man

to claim the All-Around gold medal for 28 years.

He successfully defended that title four years later in Rio.

My biggest goal is to stand

on the top step of the podium at the London Olympics.

That's my aim.

And, once after reaching the 10,000 views, ads will start appearing, but only after reviewing

the channel for checking whether it is meeting the Youtube's advertiser policies and community

guidelines.

Youtube believes that these news changes will help to prevent spam channels without discouraging

the genuine new creators.

It's been a little more than a month since I planted my hydrangeas.

Let's see how they're doing.

Okay, listen up!

You don't want to miss this.

I planted my hydrangeas in early March after an unusual warm spell.

It was within a day or two after planting that we began hearing about a bad late freeze

coming.

I'm sorry to say the forecast was spot-on.

My poor hydrangeas got walloped with 24 degree cold within two weeks after they were planted.

They were decimated - I mean brown and crusty - and to be honest, I was afraid they had

died.

But I cut away most of the dead plant material and hoped for the best.

our bodies need the right fuel to help us learn, play, and grow.

Food gives us that fuel.

Our body uses units of heat energy, called calories, to work, even when we're asleep.

Every time we eat, our body turns that food into energy.

The amount of calories we need is calculated using maths.

The more you move and exercise, the more energy you use,

and the bigger you are the more energy you need.

The type of food we eat to get our calories is important too:

using maths, scientists worked out the proportions and percentages of different types of food—

like fruit and vegetables—that we need for a balanced diet, giving us our super fuel.

They also use mathematical modelling to work out the best way of preparing and packaging our food.

They even use maths to work out the best way of baking biscuits—

reducing the chances of them cracking when they're being made and packaged,

so when you buy them they're in perfect shape!

the cell wall of fungi and we do that

for a very understandable reason.

The cell wall of a fungus is a unique

property of the fungus, it's loaded with

molecules which are not found in the

human body so the cell wall is something fungal specific.

Now, because of that

that's very useful in a number of

settings if we can block cell wall

synthesis we can have an agent, a drug,

which can kill a fungus so studying the

cell wall leads us to potentially new

drugs to treat fungal disease.

If we can recognise the cell wall we can use that

information potentially to design

diagnostics and having a good diagnostic

against a fungal infection is really very important.

So we use our skills in

studying cell walls to make mutants,

mutants with changes in the cell surface

and we use this to understand fundamental

processes about how the cell wall's

assembled and in doing so we can

generate tools and approaches to deal

with the important aspects of medical mycology,

diseases caused by fungal pathogens.

Today I'm going to discuss an another cause of weight gain through this video.

Before knowing this reason, if we look around at our society. Then the hard working persons

Like Rickshaw Pullers, Maids most likely they are underweight.

Whereas the white collar workers who works in offices they are overweight.

Its because our lifestyle and eating habits doesn't get match with each other.

Let me explain you with a simple example

When a young boy joins the office, he has certain changes in his life style.

The biggest change is, addition of tea and snacks in the evening.

Samosa, Patty or Biscuits as usually taken as snacks.

On an average he start taking 200 calorie daily a day.

If we calculate it for a complete month

He takes 6000 calories more than his requirement.

Due to this he gains 1-1.5 kg weight in a month.

And if it continues then he gains 8 ks weight in a year.

And that through with a cup of tea and snacks only.

But if he starts enjoying on evening parties, eyeing dinner, outside outing, office parties

Weekends outing then within a year he gain 15-20 kg weight in a year.

Now a days maximum white collar peoples are facing this problem.

People who were earlier active but when they join sedentary job, they gain weight.

So when we have such changes in our life, we have two methods

We should consult to a medical practitioner/dietitian to know about our calorie requirement.

And accordingly we should have a diet chart & we should keep visit them regularly if & when we require.

The second and the easier method which I would suggest to my viewers

We should check our weight on regular basis on every month or 2-3 months.

In case we are gaining 1-2 kg weight, we should correct it there and then only.

For this we can get a diet chart from a dietitian.

Or we should take some help to understand the causes of changes in our life style.

Or what are the changes in eating habits in result we gain weight.

So it would be easier for us to control and correct that weight.

Rather than reducing the 15-20 kg weight which we gain in 1 year

The specific weight gain area is tummy ares of officer workers and white collars.

Its called belly fat and this is very harmful

It brings diabetes, heart attack and problems like hypertension.

Which are very commonly seen in youth now a days.

If we have such changes in our life style then i would suggest you

Then accordingly we should do changes in our eating habits & we should check our weight regularly.

GULAB JAMUN RECIPE - MILK POWDER GULAB JAMUN II स्वादिष्ट गुलाब जामुन II BY VIJAYALAKSHMI II - Duration: 7:33.

Hi friends myself Vijaya. Welcome to my kitchen

Whenever we have any festival, function or party

There is one sweet or dessert recipe is obvious to make and i.e Gulab Jamun.

Generally Gulab Jamun is made with Mawa(Khoya)

But today we'll make Gulab Jamun with milk powder

So let's make Gulab Jamun.

To make Gulab Jamun we have taken 2 Cup Milk Powder

2 Cup Sugar

100 gm Unsalted Butter

Water, Clarified butter to fry the Gulab Jamun.

1 Cup fresh cream, 1 cup Milk

1 tsp Cardamom Powder

1 tsp Rose Water

Here we have 10-15 finely chopped Pistachios & Cashew nuts.

1 Cup All Purpose flour

Let's make Gulab Jamun

We've measured all the ingredients from this measuring cup.

We have turn on the flame

Putting butter in the pan.

Butter is melted now we'll add Milk in it

And fresh cream.

Now we'll add Milk Powder in it.

Mix it & cook it on the low flame while stirring continuously.

We've cooked it for about 15 mins by continuously stirring it.

It has turned into the lump form which means our Mawa is ready.

Take it out in a plate

Now we'll make sugar syrup & to make it we'll pour 2 cup water in a vessel.

Adding sugar in it

Let's check the sugar syrup.

If the sugar syrup becomes sticky like honey

That means our sugar syrup is ready, turn the flame off.

Adding rose water in the sugar syrup.

1/2 of Cardamom powder

Mix it well

For stuffing put chopped cashew nuts in a bowl.

Pistachios

1/2 of Cardamom powder

1 tsp Mawa

Mix it well

Adding 1 tsp Milk in it

In the Mawa we'll add 5 tsp All Purpose flour

And mix it well

We'll take some portion of batter to check whether is getting fried or not.

Here we have our Gulab Jamun is fried.

Now we'll put it into sugary syrup.

With the same method we'll prepare all the renaming Gulab Jamun

In the second Gulab Jamun we'll fill the stuffing of dry fruits.

So here we have our stuffed Gulab Jamun ready.

So this we'll prepare all the Gulab Jamun.

Put it also in the sugar syrup.

With the same method we'll prepare all the Gulab Jamun.

Here we have put in all the Gulab Jamun in sugar syrup and they are ready.
