#15 Do I Need A Uniform For My Cleaning Company? - Duration: 8:05.

I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask a House Cleaner.
This is a show where you get ask your house cleaning questions, and I get to help you
find any answer.
I've been a professional house cleaner for 25 years.
If I don't have the answer, I probably know somebody who does.
I'm connected to the best and the brightest minds in the house cleaning industry.
These are my peers and my colleagues, and we are determined to help you find the answers
to your house cleaning questions.
So, having said that, today's question comes from a guy who wants to know "How important
it is when running a house cleaning company for him to have a uniform?"
I love this question.
Here is why I love this question.
Yes.
Yes, you do need a uniform, but I love this question because you're thinking about your brand.
Now a uniform is part of your brand.
Now for me, part of my brand is this color I wear this color in all of my videos.
I wear this color when I clean houses.
I've worn this color for many years.
So when people see me coming, "Oh yes, it's the girl in the blue."
It's part of my brand.
The logo for my business is the same color, okay?
So whatever your uniform is it's part of your brand.
Here's why it's important; if I show up to your house one day and I'm wearing sweats,
and I have my hair in a ponytail, okay that's fine.
I'm a small mom-and-pop company it's no big deal.
The next time I come, let's say that my hair is down and I have a big clip at the top of
my hair.
And I'm wearing a green shirt that has some letters or something on the front of it.
No big deal but, okay.
Whatever.
And then the next time I come, my hair is up in a bun, and I have glasses on this time,
and I might be wearing just a big oversized t-shirt and some leggings.
Okay, whatever, "if she still cleaning it has nothing to do with her job."
Okay!
That has nothing to do with the job.
But it has everything to do with perception.
Because here's what happens. When you show up looking different every single time, you
create an inconsistency that your customers then have to work through.
And they say "Wait a second, is that the same girl?
Oh yes, that's the same girl."
"Is she doing the same job?"
Okay so this is going to scare you, and this is kind of an awful story, but I've worn
my hair the same way for 25 years.
I've worn the same earrings, the same shirt, the same everything,
What I'm doing is I'm creating consistency. When I show up I look the exact same way every
single time.
What that does is send a message to you as my customer, "I'm going to get the same
consistent job every single time."
How about that?
Does your uniform have to be fancy?
No, it does not.
I recommend wearing a collared shirt.
This is a collared shirt.
Is an inexpensive collared shirt you buy these shirts for like 15 bucks.
They're not expensive.
There are stores all over the Internet that sell these kinds of shirts.
This particular one is microfiber, and it wicks away sweat.
So if you're going to have a shirt where you're going to be doing a lot of physical and manual
labor you want something that stain resistant.
You want something that is microfiber so that can breathe, and you want something that has
wick properties so that it will wick away sweat.
Because you are going to sweat during the course of the day.
You don't want to get rashes or boils or whatever from clothes that rub the wrong way they're
not soft, the material is scratchy, or whatever.
Not important, but I've made this mistake in the past.
You want to get collars that lay flat.
That way they're not all crunched and bunched, and they don't look crappy because I did that
for years.
I had crappy collars, but now they sell shirts with lay flat collars.
The collared shirt is a step above a T-shirt and the reason I recommend a collared shirt
is because it sends a message.
All of our friends in the golf community wear collared shirts.
It's part of the golfing brand.
And what you're doing is you're stepping up to that level.
You're saying "I'm a premier cleaning agency."
Maybe you're not, but you're sending that message, which means "I can charge a little
bit more."
If I show up in leggings and a t-shirt guess what that says?
"I'm rock bottom price.
Go ahead challenge me on my price; I don't care about my clothing.
Therefore, I'm going to wear the lowest common denominator of clothing available."
They're going to expect the lowest common denominator price.
So the message that you send comes from your uniform.
Here's how uniforms work.
Let's say that you injure yourself and you have to go to the hospital.
And you walk in, and you're sitting in the waiting room.
If some dude, comes skating in on a skateboard, they're
full of tats; they're wearing leggings, and maybe some sleeveless t-shirt that's too tight.
And they come in and the check in at the front counter and grab a paper what do you call it?
A clipboard. And they turn around and they're like; "Oh hey, you're next."
You're going to look at that person and go "ugh ugh, no way; you're not my doctor.
You don't look like a doctor."
Ahhh, we expect the doctor to look a certain way.
Right?
So, when the doctor opens the door any comes in, and he's wearing scrubs and lab coat,
and he has the little stethoscope around his neck, guess what?
"Oh hey, that must be our doctor!"
And we feel totally comfortable with that person because they are wearing a uniform.
The truth of the matter is that this skateboard dude and the doctor in the lab coat can be
the exact same person.
But with the scrubs and the lab coat on, we expect they now have the credibility to deliver
the job we need.
Right?
A uniform is everything.
It speaks a thousand words.
So when you show up every single time… and I know you're going to say "my customers
aren't even home.
They're not going to know what I look like."
Guess what?
Yes, they do!
Everybody now has home security cameras.
They're watching you on a camera.
And so if you look different every single time, they're going to say "Holy Cow,
is this consistent work that I'm paying for?"
Erase those questions that nobody's asking, okay?
Show up every single time looking the exact same way.
Now, do you need a logo?
Do you need something fancy printed on your shirt?
It's up to you.
It doesn't matter.
If you do, yes that's fine.
If you don't, yes that's fine too.
It doesn't, it doesn't matter.
It matters if you have multiple people on your team and you want to connect the dots.
Because you want everybody to look the same.
Okay?
So, if you have multiple people, yeah it matters.
If you're one person cleaning a house, it doesn't matter.
But your uniform sends a very specific message.
So do you need to uniform?
Absolutely.
And so, if you don't have uniform run to the nearest store, or go online, and get yourself
a uniform.
Get a uniform that speaks your clientele.
So if you are looking for a little bit more money if you are looking to partner with a
professional landscape of people who hire house cleaners, wear the collared shirt.
Pick a bright, happy color that speaks to your skin tone.
And show up looking the same every single time.
I promise you this, will save you a lot of time on your marketing later on.

Miniature Cup Noodle DIY ENG SUB - Dalchi - Duration: 8:53.
Hello, this is dalchi!
We will gonna make cup noodle today!
This is dalramen which is S ramen dupe~
There are some meats on here... but hardly can't see. ^^;

Then, let's see how the cup noodle are made today~
I made cup noodle cup with white polymer clay.
It seems natural when you make the bottom thinner but thicker for the upper part.
Please take out of some clay for ramen and trim with round tool.
If you don't take it out and trim, there will be curve on the side.
After trimming meticulously, bake it on the oven for 3 minutes at 110 degrees.
And then, we will gonna make cup noodle lid.
We will use A4 paper and acrylic paint.
If you just paint yellow color, it lacks clearness and does not look vivid.
So, please paint white color first and then yellow on it to make clear and vivid color.
We will attach double-sided adhesive tape on the back to attach foil.
Foil has shining area and relatively less shining area.
I will attach this foil so that you can see the less shining area.
And I cut some transparent tape and attach it on the front side.
Then, let's make a cover for cup.
And after painting it all, I attached transparent tape and cut it out.
And I will make ramen noodle by mixing white polymer clay with yellow and red clay a bit.
I paid attention to make noodle to be curly.
And I overlapped thin and long clay layers to make them stand.
It'll easily fall down if it was one layer but it'll not if you make several layers stand together.
And I made space for chopsticks.
And I made green onion and meats by using green, brown polymer clay and put them on the oven to bake.
Now, I will attach chopsticks with adhesive.
I cut thin wood stick that I bought from atelier to make chopsticks.
And I glued the cover on cup already.
And then, I mixed red, yellow, red brown paints with resin to make ramen soup.
When you use paints, it gets powdery.
This time, I used paints on purpose to look like red pepper powder.
I painted chopsticks and left it until it set
And I impressed a mark of resin inside of lid to look like vapor.
After the resin became hard, I glued the lid on cup. Done~!

DIY ハワイアンなお部屋デコと思い出ボックス Beachy Memory Box - Duration: 4:58.
Hey guys it's Saki
today I am doing a DIY project on how to make this memory box with a Hawaiian and beachy theme
start off with choosing a memory box
there are many different sizes available at craft stores so choose what fits in your room
I got these middle size boxes for $5
next choose what you like to decorate around the memory boxes
since I wanna go for a beachy Hawaiian style this time
here I am choosing anything that associates with ocean
big and small, choose what you like in your room because there are so many varieties
once you got everything let's start!
you will need a box
newspaper or anything to lay on the floor
a brush
paint or spray paint
and a tape
first remove any labels on the box
do this process carefully so that when you paint later
you will have a clean surface
and next is optional
if you don't want the paint on the metal parts
cover it up with some tapes
it is better if you can unscrew and remove all the metal parts and put them back together once you are done
and it will look nicer
but I am a lazy person as you may know so this works out for me
do the same on front and back
and once you're done we're gonna go ahead and start painting!
spraying might be the easiest way but
I personally wanted to make my own desired color
and I got this water colors from my friend and it was kept unused for too long
and that's why I am using this paint in this video
once you get the desired color go ahead and paint
I don't have any great tricks on this but maybe paint along the grain? that's all I can say
and now I totally went against the grain (*laugh)
I told you, no tricks
don't forget the sides too
and when you're done let it dry
here's the most fun part!
choose what you want inside the memory boxes
for example, movie tickets,
the foreign coins from your trip,
the seashells or stones you picked up on your trip
birthday or wedding cards,
and many more!
anything that reminds you of a special event can go inside the box
because you are not gonna do anything with them in the future anyways
this is also optional
but I wanna be able to change the inside of the box
so I cut out some cardboard and layout the tickets on them
because each ticket has its own size and thickness, it is kind of hard to get the right layout
but try until you get the good layout and then you can tape them now
put a tape like this and press gently on the cardboard
once you are done til here we are almost there
here I am using a postcard and the ropeway ticket
both are from my Taiwan trip
once the box is dry remove the tape
be careful on this process because sometimes you accidentally remove the paint too
depending on what kind of paint you use
and insert the inside and you are done!
go ahead and hang them on the wall
to hang this starfish I used a push pin
and the hole on the back
do the same with all other decorations you got
and TADAAAA
here's the complete look
whether you live in Hawaii or not you can feel the ocean breathe from the windows now
or maybe not
you can definitely adjust this to fit into your style

Takuya Yoneda's Decidueye Box Deck Review - Duration: 3:55.
Wassup guys! Today I will be doing a deck analysis of my favourite decklist from the Oceania Internationals.
Its from a player I respect alot. Mr Takuya Yoneda's Decidueye box.
Here is the decklist Its a strangely odd list but the combination was extraordinary.
The concept of the deck from my point of view is that it quickily sets up It's Decidueye GX.
decidueye and starts sniping as soon as possible while it disrupts the opponent using
support pokemon such as Hoothoot, TrevenantEX based on what the opponent is playing.
Now I will go in depth into the decklist and the importance of the key cards of the deck.
Decidueye GX The main damage output of the deck. Feather arrow deals 20 damage for each Decidueye set up..
You may think 20 damage is really low but if its is strategically placed, it will get out all the main threats in no time.
It is also to deal 90 damage with razor leaf so it can potentially hit 170 damage per turn
and it also comes with a great GX move hollow hunt that allows you to get 3 cards from your discard pile.
Beedrill EX This card is what I believe to counter Garbodor. As a single garbodor can shut down the whole deck single handedly.
you can also lysandre your opponents vileplume and its floatstone to let u get free snipes as it will be stuck on the active spot.
Trevenant EX using a single grass energy, it can stuck your opponent Pokemon in the active with Dark Forest for free snipes.
Espeon EX This card is here to win your mirror match.. I think its a genius idea to tech in this
card as I think back then no one ever thought of this card can actually be teched in for the mirror match ups.
With GX-es in the current format.. This card is awesome as the HP difference between the GX pokemon and its previous evolution is huge.
With a single energy it can send all of your opponents highest evolution back to their hand taking easy Knock outs
Hoothoot Another card no one had ever thought of to be in the standard format. The only card now that can single sidedly
lock your opponent out of item cards.. although fragile but it can deal massive disruptions if played well.
Mewtwo A card essential for Mega Mewtwo match ups as their strategy against yours or anyone else is just stack
a big fat M Mewtwo and start sweeping.. This card lets your opponent think twice.
Apart from the Pokemon cards I would like to special mention and a tech that I think its good in the deck
Team Flare Grunt I think it adds to the distruption of the deck as you can, for example lysandre a volcanionEX and stuck him on the active spot
with say Hoothoot and start sniping the bench pokemons with feather arrow for prizes.
The only way it can ever retreat into the bench is either attaching 3 energies to pay for its retreat cost,
get the single olympia that is in the deck or the single Pokemon Ranger and a floatstone.
in a team flare grunt.. you are cutting down your opponents options.

so the entire room is waterproof and easy to clean
i'm so happy white the results
thanks to my mom and dad, the have did so much work over here
on the ceiling we have the old carpet so it doesn't sound empty anymore
because this room is a real square
MULAN you can walk it's still open
as you can see she cant breakout if it's closed
and you can change the direction, that's making it really easy to use

we still have the cage over here, so she can't make damage
