Why Changes in Cheek Symmetry are Usually Due to Volume Loss Due to Aging, Not Sagging - Duration: 7:34.

Thank you for your question.

You submitted a question without a photo but you describe in your question that one cheek

is droopier than the other and that when you do a mirror lift, you find that the cheek

is more symmetric with the other.

So you're asking about a procedure that would best help you.

Well, in the absence of a photo, I think that I can at least conjecture as to what your

current state of facial aging probably reflects based on that description.

A little bit of background, I'm a Board-certified cosmetic surgeon and Fellowship-trained oculofacial

plastic and reconstructive surgeon.

I have been in practice in Manhattan and Long Island for over 20 years and solutions for

facial aging and asymmetry is pretty much what we do every day in our practice.

So in the description of your question, I think that we can conclude that if both cheeks

aren't significantly drooping but your perception that one cheek is drooping a little bit more

than the other, I think it's reasonable to conclude that in terms of facial aging,

you are dealing more with the volume and anatomic change than you are dealing with sagging.

Now although there may be some degree of sagging, but just to understand that facial aging is

both volume loss, bone muscle, fat and soft tissue, significantly on bone which is underappreciated

or as well as sagging.

So when we look at a patient, we look at what is contributing to what is their main area

of concern.

So with the understanding that you're looking to create symmetry with the other side and

that when you do a little bit of a lift, you are able to improve that symmetry, my thinking

is that what you're dealing with is probably a subtle but definitive asymmetry in the relative

projection of the cheekbones which is anatomic and normal and it pretty much applies to everyone.

But you're also dealing with the difference in volume.

And so, when you do that vertical lifting, you're actually shifting the volume upward.

Well, when it comes to volume loss, I think that we live in a very fortunate time.

We have a technique that we use in our practice called structural volumizing.

And what structural volumizing entails is the placement of a long lasting filler such

as a hyaluronic acid from the Juvederm Ultra Plus or Juvederm Voluma categories, which

by their chemical design, is designed for lasting longer.

And when I say longer, I'm talking about in the 1-2 year range.

When we do structural volumizing, we're placing this material at the bone level.

So it's really addressing the most important aspect of facial aging which is bone loss.

And when it's placed at this level, the appearance actually gives the face more structure,

hence the name.

I think that it's very important to differentiate this technique from what is the typical approach

to cheek enhancement which is to place the filler just under the skin to try to essentially

re-inflate some of the deflated skin.

But rather, by placing this material at the bone level, the skin does re-inflate but at

the same time, it looks more angular.

It looks more youthful.

There's something called the golden ratio which is a very important aspect to beauty

in faces and in nature all around us.

And when you create volume at the right place, in a structural level, you restore this golden

ratio.

It's a very nice and elegant enhancement that looks very natural.

I think that when you entertain the idea of possibly lifting, yes, a procedure such as

mid facelift may have some value but I would say, in my experience and my perception of

mid face lifting or any type of procedure that tries to shift volume from the lower

part to the upper part of the face, very often it falls short in the true volume correction.

And by throwing off these natural proportions, it actually makes someone effectively look

plastic.

And that's that look where you know that somebody had something done but they don't

quite know exactly what.

You assume that it's some type of face lifting procedure.

So with structural volumizing, we're actually restoring a lot of the volume rather than

trying to lift and displace the existing volume to a place where it might contribute but with

the unfortunate downside, I think that it's not going to be as effective.

So structural volumizing in the mid face I think will probably be worth pursuing in terms

of your knowledge and appreciation.

Again, without a photo or a physical exam, I'm trying to use the basic limits of the

descriptions to give you a suggestion as to what I would do for patients like yourself

who come to our practice.

So I hope that was helpful, I wish you the best of luck and thank you for your question.

DCS: F-5E Tiger II Taxi & Takeoff (Despegue) - #2 Tutorial - English subtitles - Duration: 10:33.

Hi and welcome again to revientor reborn estamos en DCSw in a F5

this is the Mig29 of top gun!!!!!!!

that is only the skin this is an F-5 anyway

if you have a request about a video or just see your skin of you to show it on my videos, just comment below

we are ready to perform the taxi , forget about the radio protocols

let´s first of all check the cockpit, to know the current state

external light on, I like to turn on the internal light also

the IFF is not configured

I will set it up to norm mode

oxygen perfect, gen connected light fuel...the pitot is already activated

you know that we activate the pitot just before start the taxi

we don´t have the cock on the wheels, we don´t have to ask for remove them

the horizontal situation is calibrated.. or not.... let me raise the axu. gear...

and I will set up the horizontal situation in -3 degrees as the manual say

and now I lower the aux gear

the dumpers are on and the radar is in stby mode

ok everything is ok

tacan 16 x the radio frequency is not set to tower, does not matter today

the radio is on perfect

done

the only thing that I have to tell you to perform a taxi is the detail after ramp start

first of all is test the wheel break, you have to test them in order to know if the work properly

the move the nose wheel left an tight only small movement to know that you have nosewheel steering

after that you can taxi all the way to the taxi

to control the nose wheel steering you have to use this button of the stick

there you can see how it move in and out

that button must be pressed as long as you want to control the NWS

when you release that button, the nose wheel will keep the current position, if turning... turning if streight .. streight

that is the important detail of the day

let´s perform the taxi, turning on the pitot first of all

some throttle up (chock are out be sure of that)

more throttle up

breaks, ok it´s working

and now test the nose wheel steering

everything is ok and now just go to the runway

I am keeping the NWS button pressed constantly

when I have to go straight for a while, I release the button when my nose wheel is lined up

and it can go alone

some breaks now, and turnin left with the NWS button pressed

I have to take off from the runway 31

now right

this is really simple a short video

you also can use the differential brakes to perform the taxi run, but that will shorten the life of the breaks

the F-5 have a system to move the nose wheel, for that is better use that system rather the differential brakes

ones in the runway, continue with taxi just to be sure the nose wheel is full line up with the heading and brake

ok

engine to idle

and the final check

now will have to test the engine, to 100% rpm with the breaks full pressed and see the instruments are steady

one the instruments are checked you can release the breaks pressure and set afterburner

some power up here

there is almos in the middle

I am using the keyboard because the pot of my throttle is malfunctioning

check the parameters

all is steady

ok ok ok

before all, let´s check one thing that I was forgetting

idel

one more check

is check the flaps position in full, and extent the nose gear

is kind of elevate the nose of the plane

for aerodynamic condition

the flaps must be controlled by the hotas and auto mode

the plane know we are ready to takeoff, and it automatically set the correct parameter

and we have to trim the plane according the weight of the plane

you can use the keyboard to know what number of trim you need according the load or just read the manual

I downloaded this kneeboard from dcs wold site

you can see in the kneeboard, depending what we are loading on the plane what trim we have to set up

in this config, minimal a 6 os trim

trim trim trim

this is going to make the plane almost takeoff alone at the desired speed

hud activated, trackir centered

and we have to set the correct altimeter settings according tower or awacs

just repeat again

I see the RwR turned off... remember, in the ramp start was activated

no problem

breaks full pressed, throttle 100% rpm

let´s see the steady parameters...

all steady

now we can set afterburner and takeoff

brakes out, and in this point the manual recommend you to use the NWS under 60 knots then use the stabilizator

looks like I broke something... xD but I prefer use the differential breaks here to control the plane

once you have the speed you gentile stick back and nose up

generally you only have go go straight no turnin on the runway

and now the trim you have to down it or just set it according you need to fly comfortably

this plane you have to trim constantly

keeping the same speed

and now the trim will be more comfortably

that was the takeoff

I broke something while takeoff run due to show you how to move the plane in case is needed, I recommend to you only use the differential brakes

if you see the plane is going to the right you brake with your left break

if you use the nws you can easily flat the gear

that was the today´s video

subscribe give a like and thanks for watching be happy

John F. Kennedy - Người Dân Chủ hay Cộng Hòa? - Duration: 4:50.

He was one of America's most popular presidents -- handsome, charismatic, a war hero.

He believed a strong military was the best guarantor of peace; he explained that cutting

taxes was the best way to grow the economy; he firmly opposed racial quotas, and was horrified

by the idea of unrestricted abortions.

Can you name him?

Here's one more clue: He was not a Republican.

The answer is: John F. Kennedy.

When he was elected president in 1960, Kennedy's views were considered mainstream

in the Democratic Party.

But while the Kennedy name is still revered by the Democrats today, the policies he espoused

are not.

Ronald Reagan, America's 40th president, who was a Democrat much of his life,

famously said, "I didn't leave the Democratic Party.

The party left me."

So, if Kennedy were alive now, which party would he belong to?

It's impossible to know, of course.

But we can compare his political positions to those of today's Democratic Party.

On race:

JFK disliked the idea of using racial preferences and quotas to make up for historic racism

and discrimination.

Today, affirmative action is Democratic Party orthodoxy, but Kennedy thought such policies

were counterproductive.

"I don't think we can undo the past," Kennedy said.

"We have to do the best we can now...I don't think quotas are a good idea...We are too mixed,

this society of ours, to begin to divide ourselves on the basis of race or color."

On taxes:

Kennedy was an ardent proponent of across-the-board tax cuts, believing that more cash in the

hands of all Americans, including the so-called wealthy, and a lighter footprint from the

IRS would grow the economy.

"A tax cut means higher family income and higher business profits," Kennedy said

in an address to the nation shortly before his death.

"Every taxpayer and his family will have more money left over after taxes for a new car,

a new home, new conveniences, education and investment.

Every businessman can keep a higher percentage of his profits in his cash register

or put it to work expanding or improving his business."

On foreign policy:

Kennedy was very firm about his red lines.

When the Soviet Union built missile sites in Cuba, leading to what is known as the Cuban

Missile Crisis, Kennedy threatened a decisive military response.

The Soviet Union backed down.

JFK believed, as Ronald Reagan did, in peace through strength, not strength through peace.

In his inaugural address, Kennedy made the case for a strong U.S. military.

He saw this as the only way to deter America's enemies.

"Only when our arms are sufficient beyond doubt," he said, "can we be certain beyond doubt

that they will never be employed."

On gun rights:

Kennedy was one of eight U.S. presidents who was a lifetime member of the NRA.

Here's what he said about the Second Amendment: "We need a nation of minutemen – citizens

who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of

freedom as a basic purpose of their daily life, and who are willing to consciously work

and sacrifice for that freedom."

On abortion:

Kennedy was assassinated a decade before the landmark Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade.

Abortion was not a major issue during his administration.

But we do know that he nominated Justice Byron White, a Democrat, to the Supreme Court.

White was one of two justices who dissented in Roe v. Wade.

We also know that Kennedy abhorred Japan's post-WWII use of abortion as a means of population

control, saying: "On the question of limiting population: As you know, the Japanese have

been doing it very vigorously, through abortion, which I think would be repugnant to all Americans."

Today, if a Democrat advocated the positions on race, taxes, foreign policy, guns and abortion

that our 35th president once did, he wouldn't be a Democrat.

He'd belong to that other party.

I'm Larry Elder for Prager University.

Goodgame Empire - The Battle for Berimond - Duration: 14:13.

Hello everyone, I'm Breor, and welcome back to Goodgame Empire.

As the title of this video suggests, this is my guide to the Battle for Berimond.

I have received more requests to make this video than any other, but sometimes receiving

so many requests makes it harder for me to get around to covering the topic.

Knowing a video is anticipated and asked for motivates me to learn everything there is

to learn about the subject in question before making the video.

Have I learned everything there is to learn about the Battle for Berimond?

I don't think so, but it can be sort of difficult to tell… the event appears very

rarely nowadays, and whenever it does, I seem to get busy in real life.

I'm going to make this video anyways, because, again, I have received hundreds of messages

asking me to, but, if you know more than I do about Berimond, help me out and leave your

knowledge in the comments.

First and foremost… pronunciation: Berrymond or Beramond?

Unless you talk to yourself aloud while you play Goodgame Empire, you've probably never

had to pronounce all these fantasy names, but try it and you might be surprised how

many alternate pronunciations exist.

For the first few months of running this channel, it was actually difficult for me to do my

intro because I couldn't pronounce Breor.

I'm going to go with Beramond, because that's what I originally imagined it to be, and so

sorry if that makes this video annoying for you.

[Get on with it!]

Very well.

Welcome to my campaign camp in Berimond, specifically constructed to be a gallantry producing machine.

My whole alliance was assigned to fight for the blue faction this time, but sometimes

we fight for the red faction as well.

Construction within the Battle for Berimond is actually quite simple, because you start

off with a prebuilt camp, and there are only a few types of buildings to consider.

Tents provide room for your traditional soldiers, which you can send to Berimond if you choose.

You cannot build a barracks here.

Instead you have these two buildings: the training grounds and the auxiliaries headquarters,

which are used to train and store auxiliaries.

Upgrading the training grounds will make it possible to add more units to the recruitment

queue, and upgrading the headquarters will make it possible to store more auxiliaries

overall in your camp.

Auxiliaries are cheap and disposable troops that can only be used in Berimond, and they

more or less make this event possible.

When feasting at full power, and imperial guardsman (one of these guys) takes two minutes

to recruit, but his auxiliary equivalent, the muscle man, takes ten seconds.

Auxiliaries will be less powerful than the traditional troops you might choose to import

to Berimond, but again, they're very easy to replace.

You're going to need a mix of troops to defeat enemy camps and watchtowers, so I would

recommend you recruit an even number of musclemen and marksmen.

Supply storehouses provide room for you to store resources.

Each storehouse built increases your camp's capacity for resources by seven thousand five

hundred units per resource.

I've built seven because that was the required amount in order to expand my camp to the maximum

possible size.

While food is very easy to acquire in Berimond, you can't start any feasts from here, and

nor can you build enough storehouses to hold more than 80,000 units, which is the amount

you'd have to spend to start an aristocratic feast.

The marketplace in Berimond is an essentially useless building.

It only provides ten barrows and is un-upgradeable, but you can pay rubies in the King's Market

to increase your barrow capacity if you need to.

The stables in Berimond is different from the regular stables in that it has five levels

and the prices are changed, but it can still only be upgraded using rubies.

The Battle for Berimond lasts for less than a week, and any ruby investments you make

in your camp will be permanently lost, so I would really recommend against upgrading

this structure.

Travel times in Berimond are short already.

The military hospital can be built and upgraded in Berimond but isn't very useful because

you cannot use it to heal auxiliaries.

For reasons I'll explain in a moment, I use wolfhounds in Berimond, but these units

require rubies to be healed, and that would be pretty wasteful.

In terms of fortifications, you can upgrade your walls and towers in Berimond, and you

can also dig yourself a moat.

The only purpose for doing so would be to satisfy quest objectives, since PVP isn't

really conducted here.

However, you should apply a castellan to your Berimond camp just in case someone decides

to attack you.

From the construction menu, we see that we can also build a construction crane, a hunter's

camp, a watchtower, and a ruby moat, but these are all ruby purchases and, again, you'd

be foolish to buy ruby buildings in Berimond.

There's one last thing I haven't mentioned: the decorative items here in Berimond do not

offer public order… instead they offer morale.

Having many decorative items will provide high morale and thus increase the combat strength

of your troops and auxiliaries.

Building more and more decorative items will start to have less and less of an effect,

so I would recommend stopping when you reach a morale of about 190%.

These arsenals and field kitchens were included as part of the pre-built camp, and I filled

up the rest of the space with more tents.

If you forgot what you saw at the military hospital, what I did next might surprise you;

instead of sending just regular attackers to Berimond, I also included about three hundred

wolfhounds.

I'm using these wolfhounds to satisfy the objectives of a particular quest within the

questbook: "NO MERCY."

The quest objectives are to defeat three enemy camps and loot at least three thousand resources

from them.

If you do this, you will be given a small sum of coins and (more importantly) fifteen

gallanatry-increasing tools.

These are like glory flags for gallantry, and because you can complete this quest as

many times as you'd like, you can actually earn tons of these tools if you remain dedicated

enough to keep attacking.

Wolfhounds are great because they will move quickly to their targets, but they aren't

so great for two reasons.

They aren't powerful, so you won't be able to attack camps that are defended, and

They can't carry any resources, and thus cannot satisfy the "loot three thousand

resources" requirement.

For these reasons it might be a great idea to use other fast-moving troops that are more

powerful and can carry resources… like samurai attackers or assassins.

If you find a player who doesn't have any defenders at her castle, it might be tempting

to repeatedly attack her whenever the cooldown expires.

I suppose this might be a practical option, but it's on the borderline of bullying.

Clearly the player logged in recently to join the Battle for Berimond, and attacking their

camp repeatedly won't allow them to get going and participate in the event.

As you guys know, I don't encourage multi-accounting, but a better option might be this… if you

have an inactive "friend"

[Know what I mean?]

in the game who would allow you to attack them in Berimond without defending, that would

be pretty ideal for the purposes of completing this quest.

Attacking enemy camps is a great way to complete that quest and earn tools, but it's not

the best way to earn gallantry; to do that, you're going to have to attack enemy watchtowers.

This button here on your screen will automatically take you to the nearest watchtower, but that

target might not be the best one to attack.

If you trace the white line all the way back, it will lead you to the enemy's capital,

which you can then click on to find the paths to the other watchtowers.

Only the watchtower at the end of each path will be available to attack, and defeating

enemy watchtowers is how your team will advance to the capital.

Should your team unlock the capital and defeat it, new players will be prevented from entering

Berimond on the side of the opposing faction.

You will then be able to attack and defeat enemy player camps to knock those players

out of the event.

Unfortunately, the run-time for the event is too short to allow that to ever happen,

so there's never really a winner of Berimond.

Maybe one day Goodgame Empire will run the event for twenty days and a victor will be

decided… though I doubt it.

The purpose of checking out and spying the other watchtowers is to make the decision

about which one would be easiest to attack.

To defeat the watchtowers, use ranged troops with mantlets on the first wave, just as you

would do to defeat samurai and nomad camps.

You may have to use more event and ruby tools against the Berimond watchtowers, but the

watchtowers are great targets for looting rubies and participating in the event will

likely pay off.

I have so many ruby mantlets lying around throughout all of my castles I can definitely

afford to dispose of these ones.

There's been an ongoing debate as to whether or not the watchtowers change their setups.

According both to my observations and the team at Goodgame Studios, they do change their

setups randomly.

I believe there are a limited number of setups they can take, however, and this might be

what's causing the confusion.

The watchtower might have the option between set-ups A, B, and C. You spy, see set-up A,

attack and defeat it, and then the watchtower randomly chooses set-up A again, thus not

actually changing after that particular attack.

An employee of Goodgame Studios said that the watchtowers commonly retain the same setup

up to four attacks in a row… however, as I said, they do sometimes change, and that

necessitates that you both spy after every attack and send your attacks one-at-a-time.

You cannot run convoys against watchtowers like you can against samurai and nomad camps,

and if you don't know what convoys are in Goodgame Empire, you should check out my remastered

Samurai Invasion video.

Each watchtower protects the three resource villages next to it; when they are destroyed,

the resource villages can be attacked and destroyed as well.

Destroying them will make it so that players on the opposing faction will receive fewer

resources.

Likewise, the resources you receive in Berimond are coming from your team's resource villages.

There are only two more things to explain about this event, but (before I get to them)

let me first give you a Battle for Berimond bonus tip.

Sending tools and troops to this event is free, and when the event concludes, all of

your regular troops and tools will return to your main castle.

Thus, if you have thousands of tools in the outer kingdoms that you'd like to transport

to your main castle, send them through Berimond for free.

This is a great deal for me because I produce tons of wooden mantlets in my outer castles,

and yet only use them to defeat the samurai and nomads in the great kingdom.

If you want to do this, remember that you'll need to send at least one soldier to carry

your tools, and there will need to be room for him in your campaign camp.

You can delete soldiers from the troop management window if you need to make space (or, if you

are a nicer ruler who doesn't want to get rid of more troops, you can always just build

more tents).

Onwards, then, to explaining this whole event panel.

The first tab gives you an introduction to the event which you probably don't need,

seeing as you're watching this video…

The second tab provides buttons for going to nearby enemy camps and watchtowers, and

also for travelling between the event and your regular castles.

You can also send troops to your campaign camp by clicking this button.

The third tab provides the rankings for the event.

I'll be able to complete the point rewards for the event before it concludes, but I don't

understand how people are coming up with numbers like five-hundred-thousand.

My guess is that some rubies were purchased to make that happen.

In the level 70 bracket, the top 50 players will be awarded a piece of equipment.

What you get will depend upon your faction, although the two sets are approximately equal

in strength.

I actually own them both on my super-secret closed beta test account and so I can show

you their appearances and stats.

The Bear's Strength, which is the commander set for the blue faction, provides:

+90% melee combat strength, +90% ranged combat strength,

An 80% enemy wall protection reduction, A 40% enemy gate protection reduction,

A 60% enemy moat protection reduction, +55% travel speed,

65% later detection, And 40% additional glory points.

The Lion's Pride, the cleverly-named commander set for the red faction, provides:

+90% melee combat strength, +90% ranged combat strength,

A 90% enemy wall protection reduction, A 35% enemy gate protection reduction,

A 50% enemy moat protection reduction, +60% travel speed,

60% later detection, And 45% additional glory points.

By the way, my closed-beta account has 110 million rubies and all of the unique equipment

in the game, so, yeah, it was pretty cool of Goodgame Studios to give it to me.

Last but not least, it's time to explain the gallantry titles in the game.

They work exactly like glory titles but offer different bonuses.

The rewards for the Top 1, Top 20, and Top 50 are excellent for PVP, and the reward for

the title of Weapon Master is very impressive as well.

Because there's such as large jump between Guardian of the Sword and Weapon Master, often

Weapon Masters will be among the Top 50 players as well.

You do need at least ninety-five thousand gallantry points to be considered for the

rank-based rewards, so, when Berimond hasn't been run for a while, nobody will have access

to these titles.

The ranks of Oppressor through Guardian of the Sword will allow you to recruit very strong

attackers for coins.

The rank of Widowmaker is very important for food production in the outer kingdoms, the

ranks of Stormpike through Ravager will allow you to recruit less powerful but still solid

Berimond units, and the ranks below that offer an array of smaller rewards.

As you can see, these are all very important rewards, and you should try your best to earn

them whenever either of the Berimond events are run.

In a future video I'll talk about the Berimond Invasion, which is a separate event entirely,

but you can also earn gallantry points from it (we haven't seen it in a while in the

game).

Here's another Battle for Berimond bonus tip… you can send your soldiers in this

kingdom to the capital if you want to protect them while you're not online.

This will keep them from being killed.

Players on the opposing team won't be able to attack the capital until they destroy all

of the watchtowers, which, as we discussed, is unlikely to happen due to the time limitations

imposed upon the event.

This is the point of the video where I say thanks.

Thanks for watching it, thanks for requesting it, and thanks for your continued support

of the channel.

If you liked this video please do me a favor and share it with your alliance-mates… it

might encourage them to participate and succeed in the event.

I've been Breor, and I'll see you next time.

You DO NOT need an expensive 3x3! | Weekly Cubing Topicals - Duration: 3:08.

Have you guys heard the saying cheap blanks are getting good and good blanks are getting

cheap?

Obviously you have to fill the blanks in with an item, whether that be some sort of tech

product or maybe even, hey you guessed it, cubes!

Actually, for cubes the saying is slightly flawed 'cause while I do think that cheap

things are getting better and better the top 3x3's are kinda getting more expensive.

But that's a discussion for another time, what I really wanted to talk about is budget

puzzles and their place on the market.

Hey YouTube it's me Spotty!

Welcome to another Weekly Cubing Topicals!

First off, let me tell you what I'm not here today to talk about.

I'm not gonna to tell you that budget puzzles are just as good as a more expensive 3x3's,

because for the most part, they're really not.

In just about every aspect of a cube, other than price of course, a cube like the GTS

V2 will beat a Kung Fu LongYuan for sure, which btw is what I'm solving with in the

background.

Some of you may disagree but look at every world class speedcuber.

You don't see them using MF3RS' or LongYuans to try and break world records do you?

So, to make it extremely clear, I do not think that really any budget puzzle is better than

a more top of the line one for speedcubing.

However, I do think that there is a huge place on the market for them and I'm here today

to try and inform you, that you don't need drop $30 on a 3x3 if that just isn't something

you can do.

And that's completely fine.

When I was starting out, I think this would have been really helpful for me to hear because

while I didn't get really expensive 3x3's to begin with, I always felt like I was missing

out on something not having one.

I was always able to find flaws in the puzzles I was using whether that be a Sulong, Yulong

or Guanlong.

And especially now, as budget puzzles are really getting quite good, you shouldn't

need to worry about the little inadequacies of any puzzle you're using.

No Feliks or Max Park aren't using these but most of us aren't Feliks or Max Park

ey?

A lot of budget puzzles should still work fine for the most of us.

And yes, that's easy for me to say right?

I've got heaps of awesome 3x3's and I'm very very lucky to have this.

But I want to try and back my words at least slightly with some sort of action.

So as I said before the puzzle I am using in the background is the KungFu LongYuan.

This is a budget 3x3 coming in at around $4 USD and is one of the most affordable 3x3's

that you can get your hands on.

But taking it just one step further, this isn't the best solves that I've pulled

out of an average that I've done which is what I normally do with the solves that you

see on other cubing topicals.

Instead, I sat down, did two solves and turned on the camera.

The average you're seeing is that average.

And there were quite a few lucky scrambles but all these solves are legitimate and if

you really don't believe me then the scrambles are at the top of that page.

I'm kinda going off on a tangent but I really wanna emphasise, and if a can prove, that

budget puzzles aren't bad and for a lot of us, will be the best choice when looking

for a cube all things considered.

So, yeah.

That's really about it.

The cube I have been using throughout this video will be linked below if you're interested.

I'd really appreciate it if you shared this with somebody who needs to hear it and yeah.

Thank you guys for watching and I will catch you all in the next one!

Digital Agency Speaking Event - VLOG 05 (New York City) 🎥 - Duration: 4:47.

- Super early in the morning.

We're going to New York for an event, stay tuned.

One other thing I'm working on today

is trying to hire a sales manager.

I think getting an hourly sales manager

is gonna really help with our internal sales,

so I've posted on Upwork

and hopefully should have a candidate soon.

Uber's here.

(car engine rumbling)

I've finally settled in, got to a table

and I got a little bit of work to do, couple of meetings.

Got a one-on-one with one of our sales guys,

I'll give him a call.

(phone ringing)

- [Billy] Alex, how you doing?

- Hey Billy, what's up?

- [Billy] Hey, not much.

Trying to put out a fire here, man.

The proposal I sent out to Joe yesterday

apparently wasn't...

didn't like entail the details,

that him and Robert spoke about.

I wasn't given a lot of like visibility

into the details of that,

so I'm trying to put that fire out now,

but I'd appreciate like your feedback

on the contract and proposal like I've just updated

to his requirements, I'm assuming,

and I just wanna make sure that it's alright,

before I send that out again.

- Sure, what do you think went wrong?

- [Billy] Just like the details of the proposal and contract

wasn't what his expectations were.

- Yeah, so what do you think you could have done differently

to make sure that you had those expectations?

- [Billy] I discussed it thoroughly with Robert.

I also thought that I set the expectation,

that I would send him a proposal after the meeting,

before the end of the day

and Robert was of the mindset,

that we should have sent it on Monday,

when he wanted to start or onboard the service.

- So it sounds like a couple of things happened.

You set that expectation at the end of the day,

- [Billy] Right.

- and then also, yeah, you sent it out

before Robert gave feedback on it.

- [Billy] Right.

- OK, how do you stop that from happening in the future?

- [Billy] Yeah, I mean it's just gotta be

like transparent conversation beforehand.

- We're at 133 signups now, 133 tickets sold for this event.

Pretty excited about it and I'm also excited about it

on this video I'm editing.

So I ran pay per click ads,

we got seven dollars per signup from those.

Here are the ads, that we used

and the targeting, that we used.

By the way, here's the email that we were talking about

with Billy on his one-on-one.

He sent this contract, the client came back

and he said, you know,

"These aren't the terms we agreed to,"

and Billy sent what we said,

"Miscommunication on our behalf,

"we'll send something on Monday,"

and the client just got back, "No problem, thanks Billy."

So, sometimes problems are easier to solve,

than they seem like.

It's not really worth stressing out about stuff too much.

Calling one of the sales managers.

(phone ringing)

Gonna do a quick interview.

- [Patrick] Hello, Patrick speaking.

- Hey Patrick, it's Alex Berman.

- [Patrick] Hey Alex, how are you?

- Doing great, how are you doing?

- [Patrick] Good, good, I was just writing you an email,

so I got through (laughs) just trying to connect.

Got the bagel, still gotta go edit this Friday video

and then prep for the event.

I have a bunch more client calls.

White fish is one of the signature foods of my people,

so it's always good to partake in a noble tradition.

Headed over to the event, got my backpack, laptop,

box from Base to send us some shirts.

Should be a pretty good time.

At the WeWork in Fulton,

getting chairs ready for the event,

they're all setting it up.

That's Josh, he's the camera guy for tonight.

(laughing)

Wanna shoutout your Instagram?

- Oh yeah.

- [Alex] Where do people go for camera stuff?

- My Instagram is HighlyCreativeDigital

and you come to Highlycreativedigital.com.

- I'm a marketer, my name's Daniel Wallock.

Me and Alex go way back at this point,

we've been emailing forever.

Yeah, I'm excited for the event tonight.

I've always wanted to meet Alex and here we are,

so it's a great night.

- Ready to learn about Four Strategies for Agency Growth?

- [Audience Members] Yeah.

- Cool, yeah, thanks for coming out.

That's the follow-up sequence.

Sometimes though, when you're sending cold emails,

people just won't respond at all.

That last follow-up sequence is usually

when people are going a little cold on you,

after you've talked to them.

Alright, we're done, thanks guys.

(audience applauding)

- Liam

- Hi, nice to meet you.

- OK, cool, absolutely and--

- Alex,

- Hey.

- A real tight presentation, thank you.

- So, we're walking now to Blarney Stone,

here's Mike.

- Hey.

- How was the event?

- What was that?

- How was the event?

- Oh, it was crazy good, it was crazy good,

always crazy good.

- Awesome.

So, let's end the vlog there.

Thanks for watching the videos.

Jumper EZBook 3S Internals - Duration: 2:21.

Hey guys for just a quick one here this is the jumper easy book 3s that I

recently unboxed and took a look at so it's the revised newer version of the

jumper EZBook 3 now you can see that they've got a full sized

m2 SATA 3 it is in here so that's the 22 by 80 millimeter ones so that's

why it's faster because this is the smaller version you can see the

difference that's the 22 by 42 1 now the thermals on this laptop are really quite

good it doesn't seem to go over around 77 to 78 degrees and this is the reason

why you can see the fuse a nice large copper heat sink which is something that

all manufacturers should be doing I believe with these 6 watt Apollo Lake

chipsets so two battery cells in here and 7.6 volts

48 hours but that's two times 48 million hours in there giving us a total of

almost 37 watt hours so very similar to the Chuwi

Lapbook 14.1 or the twelve point three models so same kind

of capacity that we're getting on all of these the laptops so the wireless

antenna goes along here and it's on the the palm rest so to the right of the

palm rest. Sorry, the left of the palm rest is where you get reception from and it's

only single band Wireless in on this through typical common RealTek chipset

which is a bit of a shame there and overall plastic frame in here but there

is this metal behind the keyboard which is probably why the keyboard there maybe

they made some revisions to this why it feels a lot better than the trampoline

that used to be on the easy book three the one that I first reviewed these are

our two loudspeakers either side and overall not bad they've got a bit of

space around here you can see but that's because you've got this ribbon cable

going along to another PCB here that has our micro SD card reader and the USB 2

port on there so this has only got one USB 3 port which is located on the main

motherboard there so overall layout is decent not too bad the internal to build

quality the worst I've seen as the Voyo Vbook

the Vbook version 3 which was really bad the internals this here looks really

good to me thanks a lot for watching

The Legendary Starfy [Part 11]: Drippin' Droplets - Duration: 17:29.

Time to... Chase Papes, I guess.

Oh, hey, it's time for the new gimmick.

This mechanic is actually pretty cool.

Never seen anything quite like it before.

Well, that's all for that, then. Back to the seal.

Hey, I think I found the "stop squeaking" button.

This isn't awkward at all...

There we go.

Aah, murderous trees!

Aah, cannon trees!

I'm pretty sure that's not how people write letters.

Also, yes, that was the thing I made for those "What"-worthy moments.

Not pretty, but hey, I don't pride myself in my art skills anyway.

It's more to reflect what we're all probably thinking.

Oh, great, more seal.

All of these strong currents are suspicious.

Also, I got interrupted.

No? Nothing? Okay, then.

Oh, dang. I'm...almost dead.

Never thought that would happen outside of a boss battle.

That's...good advice, I guess.

Cool.

Oh, these junctions are really confusing...

Can't really tell which one's going where...

Hey, there it is.

Oh, you don't get warped back. That...sucks.

That...was stupid.

Thought I could tank the damage, but invincibility lasts shorter than I thought.

Oh, it defaults on "No"...

Aah, analogue sticks.

Okay, I'm gonna skip the treasure-getting...

...and get right to the treasure retrieval.

Hello? Anyone out there?

There we go.

Oh, wrong one...

Tank it!

Well, that worked out better than last time.

All right, then.

Actually, I need health. Forgot about that.

Oh, more droplet climbing.

You can always tell because this song always plays during these areas.

And...you know... the giant water droplets falling from the sky.

What.

You're flashing back now?

This seems familiar...

Oh, I guess they weren't perpetually draped in the shadows after all.

Why...?

This is a thing, apparently.

You're in a spacesuit, aren't you?

Um...

Right, then. Let's move on.

That was a pretty long stage.

In fact, this video'll just have to be these two levels.

Oh well, it was the debut of "What"-person, I guess. So, not a total loss.

Hey, treasure.

Actually, forget the pearls. I've got enough for the moment.

Hey! Nice.

More health is always a good thing.

Oh, that's it. Well, that was fun little romp.

And that'll do it for this episode.

Next time: We finish up everything in Sogwood Forest.

...And go back for everything that was missed before.

Thanks for watching.

Long Island Has NY's Freshest Oysters || Food/Groups Shuckin' Around - Duration: 6:40.

The state of New York has about 130 miles of coastline,

and damn near all of it is located here, on Long Island.

Which stretches from Brooklyn & Queens to the west,

all the way out Montauk -- the "end of the world" in the east.

It's divided by parkways, and by heated debates over just about everything,

from best beaches to go to, to the best high school lacrosse teams,

to the best back-catalogue Billy Joel songs.

But there are two things that pretty much every Long Islander can agree on:

hating the Rangers, and loving local oysters.

So we headed "out east" to meet up with some born-and-raised Long Islanders

who have deep, deep connections with this slippery shellfish.

First up: Chris Quartuccio.

He's a South Shore native who offered to show us

how Long Islanders have been harvesting oysters for decades:

diving for them by hand in the Long Island Sound.

Which means, we've got a boat to catch.

-You really don't see oyster diving taking place in other states, you know?

A lot of states on the East Coast just don't have wild oysters.

But, you know, we have some natural reefs off the North Shore of Long Island,

that consistently have wild oysters on them.

But they're very difficult to find.

The guys who do dive on these oysters,

they spend a lot of time looking for those spots.

Most of the divers I know, they've been working on the water since they were a kid.

Anyone new getting into this business,

it's very challenging for them, because they just don't know where the oysters are.

Sometimes, the oysters are thick, and there's a lot on one spot.

Other times, you gotta swim really far, you know,

to fill a bag up with 50, 60 oysters.

Because they're constantly swimming around.

These oysters we have here, they're called "Naked Cowboy" oysters.

We came up with the name "Naked Cowboy" oysters because we figured

a badass, wild diver-harvested oyster needs a badass name.

This is a wild oyster, it's got a pretty thick shell, so it's pretty easy to shuck.

What's great about nature is, with these oysters,

they gave us a nice little, uh, hinge there, to put the knife into.

When I go to open this oyster,

it's doing everything it possibly can to keep me from opening it up.

-Look at that seawater popping right outta there!

-So what we like to do is something called the "Philadelphia flip."

We take the oyster and we flip it over like that.

Now the underbelly, you can see it, where it's nice, fatter & plumper.

When we consume this, it's still alive.

This is about as close to hunting, and gathering, and killing your food as there is.

-Wow, that was a plump one.

-The divers will come in at the end of the day,

they'll bring 'em back to Blue Island.

They're going to sort them, wash them, grade them.

They're gonna get them restaurant-ready

so we can ship these Naked Cowboy oysters all around the country.

-So how many of these coolers do you have?

-We have three coolers.

We have Larry, Moe, and Curly.

That's how we keep them separated.

This stuff gets shipped all over North America.

A lot of this stuff is gonna be going into New York tomorrow.

-That's if they, if the divers bring them in,

but you guys also farm oysters here, right?

-Our oyster farm is about 10 miles southwest of here.

Those oysters come from seed that we produce here,

in our West Sayville facility.

We take them out to the farm,

then it's an 18- to 24-month process to get them up to market size.

-I hear Lizzy is in charge of that, right?

-Yeah, that's where she spends a lot of her time, in the algae room.

-The oysters in the Great South Bay were over-harvested.

And then we had toxic algae blooms come in,

and they would wipe out the good algae blooms.

So if the oysters have nothing to eat, then they're gonna starve,

or they're gonna suffocate because all the bad algae starting to die

release ammonia into the water. So nothing survives.

-So, this is basically oyster food.

-It is our algae lab.

And it's where we cultivate the algae to feed the oysters

when our bay water isn't optimal.

So in our hatchery, what we do is we "force-spawn" them.

Life begins in the maternity ward.

We keep the newborn larvae in there.

From the day an oyster is spawned, it takes about two months

for them to reach half an inch, which is seed size.

Then it goes out into the farms, and they're there for two years.

The oysters that are at the farm,

that are in the cages right now,

are eating our waste.

They like the phosphates and the nitrates.

So they're eating all of that,

consuming it, and what they're putting out is actually beneficial to the area.

-Yeah, so that's good for the whole bay.

-Oh it's great for the whole bay.

It's the only way, really, to clean our bays.

I was born and raised on Long Island,

so I've been around shellfish my whole life.

My dad did oysters when I was little.

They're my babies.

-We've seen how you dive for oysters on the North Shore in the Long Island Sound,

we've seen how you farm oysters on the South Shore in the Great South Bay,

but now, we have to do the most important thing:

eat some of these things.

So we're meeting up with local restaurateur and Blue Island customer Bobby Gulinello,

to see these things at their very finest: on the half shell.

-We get all of our oysters from Blue Island Oyster farm.

We are always going to have one or two different varieties of oysters on,

they're always gonna be fresh.

We are able to get them in smaller quantities

because I skateboard up the road to pick them up.

We're right by the Great South Bay.

The reason oysters were an important thing for me when I opened up South Shore Dive,

one is because I personally enjoy oysters.

Especially as a kid, I remember going with my dad,

and we would go to these like little fish markets.

We would always get a dozen oysters,

we'd sit on top of one of the little wood pylons,

and we'd shuck oysters with some fresh lemon.

They were always local.

These, these oysters come from the Steamboat Channel Oyster Company,

the guys are New York City firefighters that live in Bay Shore,

and we get their oysters from Blue Island Oyster Farm.

The beers that we have in front of us are from Montauk Brewing Company,

and you're drinking a Greenport Tidal Lager.

You know, I know these guys.

These guys come in my bar.

They drink beer.

-They eat oysters.

-They eat oysters!

Uh, there's not a lot of things left that are as pure as a fresh oyster,

and especially an oyster that is from right up the road.

Oysters are like the last bastion of food transparency.

You go out, go into the water, dive down, pick 'em out of the sand,

you clean them off, bring them to me, and we open them up and we eat them.

It doesn't get more transparent than that.

This is it.

This is Long Island. You're eating and drinking Long Island, right here.
