Shout Out Monday Evening This Has Interesting New Gadgets - Duration: 9:01.
welcome to another Shout Out Monday Evening and today's shout out we're not
going to talk about a Model Railroader we're going to talk about someone who
does designs and what he does is valuable to everyone in the model
railroading community so let's take a look at what he has to offer all of us
hi I'm Tom Kvichak and this is Toms Trains and Things this channel was
created to help other modelers who are need of guidance in pursuing their
dream of building a model railroad before we get started with this shout
out if you are still using YouTube's Video Editor you are going to need to
find another video editor before September 20th and here is why let me
pull this up this is what I saw a few days ago so we wanted to let you know
video editor and photo slideshow will go away on September 20th we've seen
limited usage of these features so we're retiring them to focus our efforts on
building new tools and improving on our existing features you will have two
months to finalize any video products before we turn off the features
completely but we are keeping the enhancement feature and video manager
okay so what that means is you're going to have to find your own free video
editor now just Google free video editing software and you'll come up with
over 10 million hits I just wanted to give you a heads up on that I know some
of you are still using YouTube's Video Editor so let's get back to the shoutout
and today's acronym for this shout out is something Shot Out Monday Evening This
Has Interesting New Gadgets and why I say this is because
today's shout-out is going to an industrial designer and why have I
chosen an industrial designer is because this gentleman has a lot of good
information that is pertinent to model railroading when I say he has a lot of
good information pertinent to model railroading he has some videos
explaining how to use styrene he has a series that he just started two weeks
ago he's got three videos on using foam core which I'm going to show you right
here okay now I'm going to bring it up right here and his name is Erik Strebel
now his last three videos are on the basics of foam core how to cut it how to
shape it but that's not the interesting part of it now he's got a couple of
videos on styrene how to cut it how to use it and other videos on now let's go
over to his video page on making molds now everything he does on here can be
used in model railroading now there's a lot of stuff on here that is way over my
head and probably over a lot of other people's head too but it's useful
information somewhere along the line but you need to see what this guide does
because it's very interesting now let's go over to his YouTube video I wanted to
show you just a little basic information about the last few videos that he did on
foam core now that's like the Gator board or the white board that you can
get in the craft stores he does very good
explanation of how to cut it the videos are very short they get to the point and
he's very good with the explanation of how to cut it into strips so you don't
bend it while you're forming it into different shapes all his videos are very
informative and get right to the point he has several videos that are very
useful for model railroading especially on styrene on these on the foam board on
making molds and general design principles I mean this guy is really
good and you could learn a lot from watching his videos so take a look at
what he has to offer you'll be amazed at what you can learn in a few short videos
but anyway let me show you a little bit more here he's got a a web page where he
designs a lot of stuff and he's got all the social media pages I'm not going to
go through all of that but I encourage you to go ahead and subscribe to him he
has a lot of good information you can learn a lot from his videos on here his
name is Eric Dremel and he's from Michigan he's an industrial designer
some of the information you can use it's very informative some of it you probably
would never use in model railroading but the videos are very informative and some
of the information that he has on here it goes over my head I mean I mean it's
like chewy like that but he's got a lot of good stuff on here let me tell you
and this guy is really good I don't know how he does the way that he does things
I mean it just amazes me so go check him out Eric Streblel got
all the links in the description down below subscribe to him tell him you saw
them on Toms Trains and Things give him a thumbs up on his videos comment on his
videos tell him how much you think that his videos are useful in model
railroading and while you're at it go ahead and subscribe to Toms Trains and
Things and while you're at it go ahead and check out my Patreon page where you
can be rewarded for the different tiers that I have on there and check out my
webpage Toms Trains and things dot-com and hopefully sometime this week those
parts will be in so I can be doing that power supply and next week is it next
week next week yes my granddaughter's will be here so the
videos will be at a bare minimum and Mark from M&M rail suggested that I
should do a shout out for Sadie right there so I might do a shout out for
Sadie one of these days she's the star of the show so we'll see you and go
check out Eric so we'll see you bye bye
I'm Tom Kvichak and this is Toms Trains and Things this channel was
created to help other modelers who are in need of guidance in pursuing their
dream of building a model railroad and today's acronym is something shout out
Monday evening
this is now when I say he has a lot of good information pertinent to the model
railroading he had now when I now everything's going off now

ALERT: Kid Rock's First Campaign Message Has his Challengers in a Full Panic | Top Stories Today - Duration: 2:22.
Anyone who dismisses Kid Rock's campaign with a laugh should be sweating under their
collar right now.
Kid Rock's campaign message just started out strong with, "I believe that if you
work your butt off and pay taxes, you should be able to easily understand and navigate
the laws, tax codes, healthcare, and anything else the government puts in place that affects
us all."
We've heard the few reasonable people in government complain about the length of bills.
It is impossible for politicians to read these things, so how can average Americans, with
real jobs, keep up?
The point of government is to serve the interests of hardworking Americans–not to confuse,
belittle, or regulate them to death.
Every American adult should feel competent interacting with the government, which shouldn't
happen all that often.
The first step is repealing a ton of burdensome regulations.
President Trump has already begun to relieve this burden, and from the sounds of it, Kid
Rock is in full support.
Michigan has suffered greatly under Democrat policy, at every level of government.
Every year, it gets harder for those in Michigan to navigate the maze the government sets before
them.
It's about time someone honest stepped up to help the state in the Senate.
Rock has never been afraid of displaying his patriotism and conservatism, despite working
in the liberal-controlled entertainment business.
He's not afraid of his Democrat competitors now, either.
The typical snotty liberal response to Rock's statement is that government has to be complicated.
They've implied Rock is an idiot, or incapable, or just not intelligent enough to get it.
The liberal elite simply has an inflated sense of self-worth from their time in the liberal
brainwashing factories–our universities.
Rock is of the opinion that government does not have to be, and should not be, complicated.
It doesn't have to be wordy and obtuse.
The government is not for people with five useless degrees–it is for We the People.
It is about time the government reflect that, not just in the Presidency.
Next, the Senate, and on down to every level of government!
What do you think about Kid Rock's first campaign message?

Have better conversations using the FORD method - Duration: 18:02.
Hello.
My name is Emma, and in today's video I am going to teach you how to be better at conversation
and speaking.
Okay?
So, in this video I'm going to teach you about how to become better at conversation with a technique.
We call the technique "F-O-R-D" or "FORD".
This technique will really help you if you're shy, if when you meet people for the first
time you don't know what to say, if you feel very uncomfortable at parties or in meetings
or any social events.
This is a great technique.
Even if you're amazing at socializing, this video can still really help you even improve
more than what you already can do.
So let's get started.
Okay, so the first thing I want to talk about is we use FORD as a way of small talk.
So, what is small talk?
Okay?
Small talk is the type of conversation we have with people we don't know well or strangers.
So, you might make small talk with your neighbours, you might make small talk with your boss,
with your colleagues, maybe if you're, you know, going to a coffee shop you might make
small talk with the store clerk.
So, you make small talk with people you don't know well and it's just a way to make people
feel comfortable in conversation and to create a connection with people.
A lot of conversation is small talk.
If anyone has ever talked to you about the weather, sports, you know, all sorts of different
topics - these are usually small talk topics.
So, again, you might make small talk at parties, in elevators, at meetings, even if you're
taking English classes you will probably make small talk there as well.
So, how do we get good at small talk?
What do we talk about when we don't know what to talk about?
Well, that's where FORD comes in.
FORD is a technique which will help you know what to talk about when you really have no idea.
So maybe this has been you before.
Okay? Maybe this is you: "What should I talk about? Ah."
Or, you know, maybe it's just a bunch of question marks.
"I don't know what to say."
It's totally silent. It's awkward.
So, how can we fix this situation?
Well, FORD stands for four things.
"F" stands for "family".
You can talk about family, and I'm going to give you some great questions you can use
to ask about somebody's family.
"O" stands for "occupation" or job.
I'm going to give you some great questions about occupation that you can ask somebody
you don't know well to keep the conversation going.
"R" stands for "recreation", this is like hobbies, sports, movies, Netflix, TV. Okay?
So I'm going to give you some great questions for hobbies or recreation.
And finally, "D" stands for "dreams".
This is when you ask somebody about their future goals or, you know, something they
want to do.
This does not...
Dreams does not mean when you go to sleep, if you have some weird dream and you share
it with somebody.
I'm not talking about that.
I'm talking about your dreams in life.
What are your goals?
Okay?
So using the FORD technique will make you better at small talk.
So, now let's look at some specific questions you can ask when you're socializing with somebody
who you don't know that well.
Okay, so again, the "F" in FORD stands for "family".
Family is a great thing to talk about, but remember to keep it light and easy.
Okay?
You want to talk about things people are comfortable with.
So don't ask them any private questions, you know, like:
"Oh, is it true so-and-so cheated on so-and-so?"
No, no, no. Keep it light, simple, and easy.
And also share about your own family, too.
Okay?
That's also very important.
You don't want to sound like the FBI interrogating somebody.
You want to have a conversation, so each time they say something, you can say something
about yourself.
So keep it kind of balanced.
Okay, so one easy question you can talk about: "Where are you from originally?"
Okay? "Where are you from?
Are you from Toronto?
Are you from Tokyo?
Are you from Istanbul?
Where are you from?"
This question is great because you can really talk about the difference between your cities
and, you know, maybe some of your experiences growing up.
Similarly: "Where did you grow up?"
A lot of people have moved a lot, so maybe they were born in this city, then they moved
to Mexico, and then they moved here.
So that's also another interesting question.
"Do you still have family there?
Do you still have family in Tokyo?
Do you still have family in Istanbul?"
Okay?
"How did you meet your boyfriend?", "How did you meet your girlfriend?",
"How did you meet your husband/your wife/your partner?"
Okay? Even your friend.
So this is a great question because it makes the other person tell a story.
You know, and usually the stories are quite interesting.
You know, so this will make the conversation a bit longer which is good.
"Do you have any brothers or sisters?",
"Do you come from a big family or a small family?"
Okay?
This is a great opener, because then people can talk about their cousins, their aunts,
their uncles, what it's like to grow up in a big family.
Or maybe they grew up in a small family.
And you can compare your stories.
If you grew up in a small family, maybe you always wondered what it was like to grow up
in a big family, or vice versa.
So it's a great way to show similarities and differences.
"How is your family?"
So if you've met the person before, you can ask them this.
"How's your family?
How are they doing?"
If the person has children, people love talking about their kids usually: "How are your children?"
Okay?
"How are your children doing?
How old are your children?"
These questions are really good to ask.
Finally, some people might not have children or maybe, you know...
Maybe they have different types of family.
Maybe you're on an elevator with somebody and you see they have a dog.
People also love talking about their pets, and pets are family, too, so feel free to
ask about: "What's your dog's name?
How old's your dog?"
You know, all of this...
All of these are really good questions to ask.
Okay, so now let's look at the "O" which stands for "occupation".
Okay, so "O", "occupation".
What is occupation?
Well, usually when we talk about occupation we're talking about jobs or careers, or sometimes
even education.
It's pretty much what you're doing to either make money or, you know, towards a career,
although it doesn't always have to be.
So, we like to talk about occupation because people know about what they're doing; they
know about their job, they know about what they're studying.
So it's good because it makes the person comfortable with a comfortable topic.
So, again, that's the purpose of small talk.
We're trying to keep the person feeling comfortable.
Now, the question I like to ask people the most is not: "What is your job?" because sometimes
people don't have a job or sometimes they're between jobs.
Sometimes...
It happened to me once, the person had just lost their job that day and it was a very
awkward, not comfortable discussion after that.
So what I prefer to ask people is: "What's", so: "What is"
or "What's keeping you busy these days?"
This way this gives the person the freedom to talk about what they really want to talk
about.
Maybe they have a lot to say about work, maybe they don't have a job so maybe they'd rather
talk about a project they're working on or something interesting they're doing with their time.
Or, you know, if they're in school maybe they want to talk about their course.
So I think this is actually the best small talk question:
"What's keeping you busy these days?"
And after they, you know, talk about what's keeping them busy, you can ask a follow-up question:
"Oh. That's interesting!
How did you get involved with that?"
Or: "How did you get started in that?"
You know, if it's work: "How did you get involved in that...?
With that company?"
Okay?
So this is a good follow-up question.
You can also, if they are talking about their job, you can ask them:
"How long have you been in your field?"
You know, maybe they've been doing what they're doing for five years or 10 years.
Okay?
So you can ask more questions about their job.
"What's the best part of your job?"
Or if they're a student: "What's the best part of, you know, your course?
What do you like the best?"
Okay?
So it's good to get people to talk about what they really like.
Okay, this is very, very important: In Western culture we do not like talking about money.
In other cultures it's okay, but in Western culture it's considered impolite or a little rude.
So, if somebody tells you: "Oh, yes, you know, I'm a doctor", and you really want to know:
"Well, how much money do you make?" you cannot ask that.
Okay? So no questions on money, no questions on salary.
Even if you really want to know, you can't really ask that.
So, again: No talk on money or salary.
Okay, great.
So now let's look at the "R" from FORD, "recreation".
Okay, so recreation.
When we talk about recreation what we're really talking about is things we do for fun, usually
hobbies, interests, anything you really like to do for fun.
So, the key here is when you talk about recreation what you're really trying to do is you're
trying to find similarities with the other person.
Okay? So, you know, for example, if you like soccer or football,
does the other person like that, too?
If you really like Game of Thrones and you're, you know, really watching it all the time,
does this other person have that similarity?
Are they the same?
How are you similar?
So this is great for really bringing people together.
A lot of the times people really like talking about their interests and hobbies, so this
can get somebody to open up.
Okay, so the question I would ask is: "So, what do you do for fun?"
Okay?
This leaves it wide open, and the person might say:
"Oh, you know, I like sailing. I love watching soccer.
I'm a huge soccer fan."
Okay?
And then you can ask them a bunch of follow-up questions and keep the conversation going.
You can ask them: "Do you play any sports?",
"Have you seen any good movies recently or any good TV shows?"
I know in Canada people really like talking about Netflix, as well as, you know, different
TV shows and movies.
It comes up a lot in conversation, so, you know, if you're in Canada this is a really
good one to use, and I think US and many other places, too.
You can also ask another follow-up question:
"Oh, you know, you like snowboarding.
How did you become interested in that?
Tell me the story.
How did you become interested in snowboarding?"
You can talk about music: "Did you hear Radiohead's new album?
Did you hear Drake's new album? Taylor Swift?"
Okay?
So you can talk about music.
There's so many different things you can talk about.
One tip about this, though, think about...
Remember I said you want to share about yourself, you want to talk about yourself, too?
When you talk about recreation, make sure you're not taking over the conversation.
Okay?
For example, if you love soccer and somebody asks you these questions, make sure you don't
keep the focus on soccer for the next hour.
Okay?
Make sure that there's a...
It's a conversation, you're both asking each other questions and, you know, pay attention
to the cues.
Maybe somebody wants to talk a little bit about something, but not for the whole time.
Okay?
So when you talk about recreation, it's really good, but also pay attention to what you're
saying about yourself.
All right, so now the last one is "D".
"D" stands for "dreams".
Okay?
So let's talk a little bit about: What questions can we ask about dreams?
Okay, so dreams.
When I talk about dreams what I'm really talking about is motivations and goals.
What do you want to do in your life?
Okay?
So, again, I am not talking about the dreams you have when you sleep.
Usually those don't make the greatest small talk.
So these are your goals in life.
Okay?
So, one thing I wanted to say before we get into these questions is small talk can be
a great opportunity to learn about other people.
Okay?
So, I recommend smile during small talk because that will make that connection.
Listen, you know, instead of being so focused on stress and:
"Oh my god, what if I make a mistake with my English?"
Or, you know: "Oh no, there's a silence."
Sometimes it's nice just to focus on what the other person is saying.
Learn about the other person.
Okay?
What motivates them?
What gets them up in the morning?
What is their...?
You know, what are their dreams?
These can be very interesting things to learn about.
So, smile, listen, and learn.
Okay, so when we talk about dreams you can talk about short-term dreams or long-term dreams.
For example, the summer: "Any plans for the summer?
Are you going anywhere this summer?
What are you going to do this summer?"
So that's kind of a short-term goal or dream.
I find people love talking about travel, so I find that when you talk about travel it
can really open up conversation.
So: "If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?"
You know: "What are your top three countries to visit?
Have you been to any countries before?
Is this your first trip?"
People really like talking about where they want to travel, what they want to see, and
what they want to do.
It really excites them.
You can also talk about, if somebody's been talking about a project that has to do with
work, maybe they've been talking about their job, maybe they're a student and they've been
talking about the TOEFL or university, or a course they're taking, or maybe...
You know, maybe there's just somebody who's been making something, you know, somebody
who likes to paint and they've been painting, you know, or taking photos of things.
You can ask them about their projects.
"What will you do once you finish this project?
What will you do once you finish the IELTS?
What will you do once you finish your course?
What will you do, you know, once you finish this book?"
Okay?
So asking them about the future is a really good idea for dreams.
You know, if somebody talked about how they love watching movies or if they love reading
books, you can ask them: "What do you want to read next?
What do you want to watch next?"
You know, if somebody's online watching a lot of movies, you know:
"What's next in your list of things to watch?"
Okay?
So talking about people's dreams is a really great way to connect to people, and it will
make the conversation more interesting than just talking about the weather.
Okay?
So I hope you find...
You found this video useful.
Again, "FORD" stands for "family", "occupation", "recreation", and "dreams".
By knowing this, this will make you better at small talk and you won't have to think
so much about: "Oh no, what do I say?" because now you have something to say.
You can talk about family, occupation, recreation, and dreams.
So it's very simple, but it's something that's very powerful.
Okay?
I want to invite you to come visit our website at www.engvid.com.
There you can actually find a quiz where you can practice some of the English in this video,
as well as some of the ideas to make sure you've really understood what you've just watched.
I hope you also subscribe to my channel.
We have a lot of great resources there for you on all sorts of different, wonderful topics.
So, until next time, take care and thanks for watching.

Why Michael Bay's TRANSFORMERS (2007) Works - Duration: 11:36.
Look, I know exactly what you're thinking after reading this videos title, but yes
Transformers well the first one at least works
And there is a very specific reason as to why that is Michael bay's transformers franchise is one of the most insane and unpredictable
franchises around
Honestly who would have thought a movie based on toys from the 1980s would have grossed 700 million worldwide
What bay has done with this franchise is genuinely astonishing and in my eyes admire to say the least?
Now I have a bit of a hot take for you. I think the first transformers is my generation strata clark now
I'm not just saying that off the top of my head
I have genuine memories as to why I think that is I
Saw this film when I was 8 so watching this whole thing unfold for the first time was
remarkable to say the least
I recently saw the fifth film in the franchise the last night a few weeks ago, and I left the theater absolutely
broken
like
Holy shit. This was a bad movie as I was watching it
I could not believe how far we have come from the simple and effective story of a boy and his car
And that was only ten years ago it got me thinking why after ten years?
Four sequels billions of dollars and a ridiculous amount of product placement
Why do we still have such fond memories of Bay's original Transformers?
Why after all this time is it the first film that works?
I
Think the answer is a lot simpler than you think the first film was about a very relatable and human story a boy and his
Car sure there are government officials hackers and soldiers involved as well, but the film's heart lies in Sam
Witwicky
and Bumblebee. Bay, or the film's writers, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman
Provide the audience with plenty of scenes between the two in order for us to... you know care
I think the scene in which Sam meets Bumblebee is a really beautiful moment.
No
No, no, no no, Dad!
Think that's funny? Yeah, I think it's funny. What do you think I really gave you a Porsche?
For your first car? I don't want to talk to you for the rest of
The trip.
He's a loser. He doesn't have many friends. But, he wants this car.
I'm gonna buy you a car, but I want you to bring the two thousand dollars and three a's okay?
I got the two thousand and I got two a's okay. Here's the dream your b-
I'm gonna buy you a car, but I want you to bring the two thousand dollars and three a's okay?
Sir, ask yourself... What would Jesus do?
This yellow Camaro with quote unquote "black racing stripes."
Bobby Bolivia, like the country, states "Drivers don't pick the cars...
Cars pick the drivers...
It's mystical bond between man and machine."
Cars pick the drivers...
"It feels good..." Bay slows the moment down as
Sam touches the Emblem in the center of the steering room revealing the iconic Autobot logo.
He remarks
Another major Bay moment in the film comes with Megan Fox's Mikaela.
Sam touches the Emblem in the center of the steering room revealing the iconic Autobot logo.
And she is in every sense of the word out of Sam's League however now that Sam has Bumblebee
What could possibly go wrong?
The character and all his awkward Glory remarks: "So listen. I was wondering if I can ride you home...
I mean, I give you a ride home!"
I can't believe it in here right now... Sam responds
"You can duck down if you want, it won't hurt my feelings."
But the conversation continues when Michaela asks, "are you new to school this year? Is it your first year?"
Sam, once more in his awkward Glory response, "We've been in the same school since first grade."
And she is in every sense of the word out of Sam's League however now that Sam has Bumblebee
What could possibly go wrong?
After a party by the Lake, Sam spots Michaela walking home by herself.
The character and all his awkward Glory remarks: "So listen. I was wondering if I can ride you home...
I mean, I give you a ride home!"
After initially ignoring him Michaela hops into the passenger seat
But you have a nice and quippy conversation that shows how down-to-earth Michaela really is Michaela puts on a facade
There's you know more than meets the eye with her
Get it
It's a great little moment that gives the audience and insight into the chemistry the two characters have Michaela one plate remarks
I can't believe it in here right now... Sam responds
"You can duck down if you want, it won't hurt my feelings."
I know I became a loss and shrunk of the whole thing off
But the conversation continues when Michaela asks, "are you new to school this year? Is it your first year?"
Sam, once more in his awkward Glory response, "We've been in the same school since first grade."
Sure logged on the character then proceeds to list all the classes they have together before much other attempts to pronounce Sanders last name
Yeah, sam. Yeah, and wilkie
With Ricky. I'm sorry I did not
Recognize you know well. I mean that's understand all of this is happening the audience almost forgets
But we are in a transformers move bumblebee being the lovable character
He is attempts to get Sam and Mikayla together as he purposely breaks down begins playing sexual healing application of this go
After this Mikayla storms off Sam in a fit of panic pleads with his car to work
And it does no no no no no no come on please over here
In a very personal moments and drives became a home and once there she asked you anything
I'm shallow Sam of course remarks the most absurd compliment in cinematic history. There's a lot more than meets the eye
with you
Okay, once they Kayla leaves Sam celebrates with bumblebees saying that he loves this car
It's a really beautiful scene that shows the connection between Sam a bumblebee
But also gives us a really nice back story
Into Mikaela later in the film the Autobots are attacked by sector seven led by agent Simmons the heroes refuses to harm the humans despite
the abuse humans throughout them probably the best moment of the film
Bumblebee is captured Sam and Michaela is struggling to save their loyal friend who is trying his absolute hardest to break free
but remain peaceful. The character's whines and moans are
Astonishingly human the pain he feels is immense and real Sam's reaction to this is all the more crushing the character States
"Look... He's not fighting back!"
The film's composer, the incredibly under appreciated Steve Jablonsky
crafts a melody that sends chills down the audience's spine. Sam breaks away from the guards and
rushes over to his guardian.
It is a moment that shows the sheer humanity of the transformers franchise
in this brief little scene you learn so much about Sam and Bumblebee. We learn that despite all the might and power of being a
Transformer, Bee is powerless all thanks to his bravery and heroism.
Now, here's where we sort of forget all of the personal stuff because this film's final battle is
Bonkers it brings together every character
We have met the Soldiers Hackers teenagers
And of course the titular transformers. it is a battle of good versus evil all aboard first Decepticon and it is
glorious
The final battle here clocks in at about 25 minutes. While some filmmakers would be terrified that'll sequence but it at Long Bay
Embraces in all his macho Glory they never forget Sam the Bumblebee they are, despite the huge battle going on, the focus point.
Bay cuts back to these characters on many occasions
And it helps keep the battle down to Earth and real. without the continuous cut to Sam and Bee
We sort of lose focus on this film. We don't care because it's all just CGI monsters hitting each other
Yes, Bumblebee is technically a cGI monster here
But Sam, and their relationship, isn't. Their relationship
Couldn't be designed in a computer. In the dying moments of the battle Optimus Prime tell Sam to place the Allspark in his chest
Destroying himself and the cube. To the audience's surprise, Sam places the cube in Megatron's chest
Destroying the Decepticon foe and the cube.
It is a moment that leaves the audience thrilled. Our main character has come an extremely long way.
Sam's character has evolved in such a progressive and natural way especially
Considering the sheer unnaturalness of this film. When the film ends, Bumblebee finally speaks he remarks:
"Permission to speak, sir? Permission granted old friend..."
"I wish to stay with the boy." It is a moment, and line, that comes with the utmost sincerity
We've spent the last few hours of Sam and his car and now they have saved humanity.
I Don't want you guys to think I'm calling Transformers a masterpiece because it
Isn't it has flaws, of course, as any blockbuster, but this film changed the game.
It showed the potential of CGI in ways that people had never seen before. So going back to the topic at hand
Why does Transformers work?
Well, It is because of the emotional connection the audience has with Sam and Bumblebee.
Without that, we wouldn't care about anything.
The fifth film has no heart.
Sure, it has human characters, but they are lifeless and dull.
This film's relationship was relatable, despite the fact that you've never had a Transformer.
The past few films have really missed this human connection.
Despite the billions of dollars in revenue, the first film is still the most well received of the lot.
I think the Transformers franchise is desperate for another simple story of a person and their car.

About the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity - Duration: 4:29.
Cybersecurity is undoubtedly one of the greatest challenges our society is facing in the 21st century.
The Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity, housed at UC Berkeley's School of Information, is dedicated
to addressing the challenge of cybersecurity by thinking about how humans and technology interact.
We think that broadening the cybersecurity problem and going out a little bit into the future tense
might just give us a handle on, where can we stick the lever today, and what solutions can we
start to work on now, that a couple years from now, we will have wished that people had been working on.
The truth is, security is much more than just a technical problem. Looking at the big picture
and the long-term trends that are affecting people's safety online I think is the only way that we can
make sure the technology lives up to the promises that we make to actually make people's lives better.
We need to get ahead of this problem. We need people to think boldly, to think big enough about the long-term
large changes that will really make a difference here. We need a grad student to spend five years
working on one problem. We need a professor to think 10 years out about a research portfolio
that'll really make large changes here.
The Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity focuses its work in three primary areas.
First, we sponsor research at UC Berkeley and beyond, not just on computer science and engineering,
but in fields like political science, economics, the law, and other domains.
One research project that I'm working on is helping develop techniques to allow people
all over the world to access the Internet, even in countries that restrict its residents
from accessing the Internet, countries like Iran or China.
A grant that we received from the Center for Long-Term Cybersecurity funded research looking at
bio-sensed information. Right now, there's this emerging class of sensors,
both wearables that we can put on ourselves, but also devices that can sense remotely.
What are the security implications of this new, emerging type of information class?
CLTC has funded my work in spearphishing detection.
Spearphishing is a very very popular and common attack right now
against enterprises and governments. With a center focused on long-term security,
you can be a lot more ambitious in your goals and really sort of go for these moon shots that you know,
maybe it'll take some time to work, but when they do work, you know
it's something we can count on for the next many many years to come.
CLTC is also training a new generation of cybersecurity professionals
through educational programming dedicated to increasing the number of
people in this field and ensuring that they have a more diverse profile.
I'm really happy to hear that Berkeley has created a new Master's degree program that will deliver well-qualified
students who both understand technology and policy issues.
Third, we regularly engage with cybersecurity leaders from government, companies, and beyond.
What are the signal ideas that can form the basis of a sentinel program for the next five to ten years?
We believe that the cybersecurity challenge is actually an existential risk.
I like the idea of a place like CLTC as a place where you can bring practical research
together with those of us in industry who are facing these problems.
I think it is great to have a cybersecurity center in the context of the overall
tradition of service that we have seen out of the students and staff and faculty at Berkeley.
Many of the problems we're going to have as a society moving forward
are going to be cybersecurity related. Unfortunately.
And so the great thing about UC Berkeley is that it really challenges the status quo.
In order for us to really have true security, we really need to be not only one, two steps ahead,
but in fact many steps ahead of the different types of threat.
We've been able to start to build a community and an institution that we think is
going to help us get some traction on what it was going to mean to actually make digital networks secure,
and to do that in a way that made human beings safer and happier.
CLTC was founded through a generous grant from the Hewlett Foundation.
We're always looking for new partners to join our work, including through
our Corporate Membership Program, where companies get early access to our research and talent.
To learn more about working with us, please visit our website at cltc.berkeley.edu.

ITS STARTED! The Bifurcation Of Time - Duration: 3:38.
ITS STARTED! The Bifurcation Of Time
by Nikki Colombo,
Time as we know it is splitting. Its called the bifurcation of time. The vibration of
light and sound frequency is splitting, so basically those who havent awakened will
disappear from your reality. Youre heading into a new reality that will surround and
encompass you. It was also called dimensional blending. Ir looks like weve just come
out of that and now that the dimensions are splitting, we will probably find more strange
anomalies happening too.
Reports are coming in about time distortions. Heres a recent experience from a client
of mine:
All the clocks in my house are either going back in time or forward in time and Im
on my third wrist watch, a brand new one in three weeks the third one!
Here is an excerpt from Ashayana Deane explaining the Ascension Mechanics:
At the height of the morphogenetic wave crest, during the half-point in the cycle, there
is an approximately three-day period when Earths magnetic fields temporarily collapse
as the spin of particles and anti-particles slows, polarity again reverses, and the angle
of particle rotation shifts back 45 degrees to its original position. Within that three
day period, particle Earth returns to its Harmonic Universe 1 (HU) time cycle in the
particle universe, and anti-particle Tara (original Earth) returns to its HU-2 time
cycle in the HU-2 anti-particle universe. There will be difficulty with the functioning
of earthly electrical and magnetic devices during this period, and the human mind and
body will experience an excessive feeling of tension, pressure and fatigue. Strange
atmospheric anomalies may occur, including a prolonged period of darkness and daylight,
and the possible appearance of a double moon, depending upon the balance of the Earths
grid. These symptoms will release as soon as the transfer of time cycles is completed,
but during the three day period tremendous stress will be placed upon the humans body,
mind and emotions.
My advice as these Full Moon energies and the cosmic alignment increase these energies
is:
Go to the beach and swim in the ocean or have a salt bath
Get some Sage and or Frankincense and burn it through the house and breath it in
Take yourself to a movie Do the 12d shield
12-D Shield by Lisa Renee
This means unity between male and female, the geometry directs balance between the masculine
and feminine energies that exist within every human being, whether male or female form.
All humans are intrinsically made up of gender principle energies, masculine and feminine,
of which are designed to come into Unity and Harmony.
I love you ALL
Namaste

Your Life Will Change 180° If You Let Go Of These 20 Mental Barriers - Duration: 7:33.
Your Life Will Change 180 If You Let Go Of These 20 Mental Barriers
By consciousreminder
One of the biggest lessons to be learnt in life is to travel light in our journey of
life and enjoy good peace of mind.
Our mental health dictates every action and reaction.
Useless ideas, things clattering around us drag us down and we get into unnecessary hot
balloon situation which is big mental barrier creating negative vibes.
We clinge too much on things that weight us down, and the real strength lies in letting
go.
We must be brave enough to stop things that weight us down.
We may have wings, but we will never soar like eagles if we keep the strings attached
to the ground.
And believe it or not, you are just a click away from it by choosing what you really
need to focus on.
Just stop for a minute, and if you havent started already, start meditating.
You will never truly see what weighs you down unless you truly see the, pardon my word,
retarded things that go in your head.
We keep thinking many useless things, and I am afraid we do it a lot more than we need
to.
By meditating in a peaceful place, you will focus on your thoughts, and it is only then
that you realize you are burdened with useless thoughts, and you keep doing it constantly,
through the ENTIRE day.
Here are 20 mental barriers that one needs to let go of:
1.
Let go of attachments: Attachment is one of the roots of all suffering.
Let us not take pride in our possessions which are of temporary nature.
One has to be grateful to the higher power bestowing on us with these possessions rather
than taking pride and feel too much attached to them.
This should be the priority number one on the list of things to be let go of.
2.
Let go of guilt: Feeling deep sense of guilt in our mind will distract positivity.
Needs to shun instantly.
What could guilt possibly solve?
If you name a thing I will agree with you and pull back my words yeah, thats what
I thought.
3.
Let go of self criticism: A constant fear of self-criticism turns one to a situation
of disempowerment.
Those who are deficient in self esteem are likely to be carried away by any self- criticism
and return to self pity mood and suffer mental agony.
Remaining inactive is the instant solution for those who suffer from the risks of self
criticism.
4.
Let go of prejudices: A prejudiced mind is another serious mental barrier that promotes
ill feelings, resentment, turns risky and becomes a serious road block for a good relationship.
Need to be shaken off to promote good relationship.
5.
Let go of Negative thinking: Negativity creates a dark aura that does not permit optimism
to seep in.
Such persons always have a jaundiced view of things, causing all sorts of problems.
6.
Let go of compulsive thinking: Let us learn to avoid compulsive thinking and concentrate
on the utility, efficacy and usefulness of it for long term relationships.
7.
Seeking others approval: It kills your initiative and drive and makes you look small
in the eyes of others.
A state of inferiority complex sets in.
8.
Let go of grudges: Keeping grudges is not only a bad habit; it is bad for one health
and well being.
Research indicates the close relationship with heart and mind, and it can cause serious
health problems.
9.
Let go of limiting beliefs: Some beliefs are self created and self imposed.
One has to retrospect them to arrive at their utility.
Just grasp the idea that everything you can imagine is real.
10.
Let go of postponing things for tomorrow: Postponing things that need to be done today,
rather than tomorrow is a laid back approach.
Time and tide do not wait for any one.
Doing it today rather than doing it next day is a wise dictum.
11.
Let go of anxious thoughts: These thoughts are borne out of inbuilt fears and anxiety.
Distract one goal and determination.
12.
Let go of heart break: As our heart locks our mind, heart breaks do create a mental
vacuum.
We need to forget such incidents and move forward for a new inning.
13.
Let go of bad memories: It is better to forget bad memories and keeping them at bay.
Learn from them, dont keep them locked in you.
They can create an enormous damage in every sphere.
14.
Let go of useless things: One must master the art of discarding useless things, including
people.
Art of Discarding, book by a Japanese author speaks about the importance of letting useless
things go.
The wording useless explains it all.
15.
Let go of bad company: A man is known by the company he keeps is a wise saying.
As a rotten fruit spoil the rest in the basket, keeping bad company does the same.
It takes away the sheen in the quality of friendship.
We should appreciate various shades of friendship and choose shades judiciously.
Throw all the negative people away, no matter how hard it is
16.
Let go of past: Let us learn to forget the bad experiences of the past and learn lessons
from past mistakes and misadventures.
17.
Let go of identifying with role: Identifying ourselves with a particular role limits our
scope of work and we miss our identity.
We will eventually become a typecast character.
It is better to come out of this rut as quickly as possible.
18.
Let go of taking things personally: Taking things personally to ones heart is a bad
personality trait.
It is counterproductive to one positive behavior and well being.
It kills all the initiatives and drives.
19.
Let go of the ticking clock: this can accumulate the biggest stress as it makes us slaves of
the time we have.
This devours one genuine freedom.
Respect the time but not the ticking clock.
20.
Let go of counterproductive habits: Those habits that distract or obstruct your productivity
have to be let go of.
These are some of the most important factors that act as our mental barriers.
Have a mental free barrier to reboot your life.
It is a mental discipline to be cultivated and not a rocket science.
The world will salute to those who learn to shake off these imaginary and reckless barriers
faster than others.
If one is able to do so, he is expected to attain ultimate peace and reboot his life.

Okay?

Blood Chip - In Memory (Official Music Video - HD) - Duration: 5:20.
All the fears that you could not hide
All the fears that you kept inside
Even those fears you'd never known
Now everything
Everything is gone
I walk these lonely streets
That tell me old stories
That time did not teach me to forget
I know we'll meet again
I know we'll meet again
Somehow we'll meet
my friend
I know we'll meet again
All the tears that seemed to have no end
All the tears that fell down in vain
Even those tears you shed alone
Now everything
Everything is gone
Your smile still shines lost in time
The chords keep on rambling through my mind
They don't lie in the silence of cold graves
This light will never waste away
I know we'll meet again
I know we'll meet again
Somehow we'll meet
my friend
I know we'll meet again
I see the same old sidewalks passing by
my dirty boots every day
I see the same old houses creeping slowly
out of the corner of my eyes
We used to walk these streets together
Now you walk on mysterious trails
But I know that we'll meet again, my friend
I know we'll meet again
I know we'll meet again
Somehow we'll meet
my friend
I know we'll meet again
Your smile still shines lost in time
The chords keep on rambling through my mind
They don't lie in the silence of cold graves
This light will never waste away
