Gowdy Found One Text Message That Will Bring Down Robert Mueller

Robert Mueller's fake news Russia investigation is imploding.

Virtually every day that goes by casts further doubt on his investigation.

And Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) just found one text message that may be the last straw, and

could bring down Robert Mueller's entire Russia investigation.

While speaking with Fox News, along with Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) Gowdy dropped the hammer

on Robert Mueller.

Gowdy brought up a text message between disgraced former FBI agent Peter Strzok and Lisa Page

that imply a "secret society" of federal agents who worked to prevent Donald Trump

from being elected President.

Strzok and Page were outed as fierce anti-Trump deep state operatives within the FBI weeks

ago.

But the newest set of evidence goes even further than past evidence, that was mostly the two

of them texting back and forth about how much they hate Trump.

The latest texts released prove that there was a coordinated effort among Obama-era federal

officials to shut down President Trump.

This "secret society" evidence is coming out just as evidence of FISA abuses on President

Trump's campaign are in the public spotlight.

Could this "secret society" be behind the Russia investigation lead by Robert Mueller?

he accidentally sliced off a part of his nose when he jumped through a window during a burglary.

By the 90's, he had taken over the organization, and although he was briefly imprisoned in

1993, he was back out on the streets less than a year later.

Currently, it's believed that he's about to retire and has been prepping a new boss

to take over for him.

Obviously, the details are a bit unclear here, since it's not like The Outfit does any

That's what many people believe Semion Mogilevich to be in the Russian Mafia.

As the leader of a massive criminal empire in Russia, the FBI has described him as the

His rap sheet includes things such as racketeering and weapons trafficking, all on an international

scale.

He's reportedly worth around $10 billion.

Not only is he a powerful crime boss, but he's known for his business sense.

Apparently, his business smarts has allowed him to get away with wire fraud, money laundering

and securities fraud.

Mogilevich is known to have a friendly relationship with Vladimir Putin and other powerful politicians

in Russia, which has allowed him to live freely in Moscow and run his other business ventures.

While his criminal career began in the early 70's with petty theft, he quickly rose through

ranks of Russian organized crime.

It's gotten to the point where he wont even travel to the west, as he's been on the

FBI's Top Ten most wanted list, so he plays it safe in Moscow.

6 - Dawood Ibrahim It may be surprising to see how widespread

organized crime is.

It seems like every place around the world has some sort of seedy underworld.

Mumbai is no different, and it's a place where Dawood Ibrahim is one of the most feared

crime bosses.

Well, he was once based in Mumbai.

These days he's rumored to be living in Karachi Pakistan.

Apparently, he's pretty elusive.

In the 70's, Ibrahim founded the D-Company, the organization that made him rich.

And by rich, I mean he has an estimated net worth of around 7 billion.

On top of that, he's mastered the art of transferring massive amounts of money.

Through a system called Hawala, Ibrahim has managed to move around lots of money illegally

around the world to support his criminal network.

The U.S Treasury Department considers him a global terrorist, and back in 2011, he was

number three on the FBI's 10 most wanted criminals.

Like many bad guys before him, Ibrahim has been somewhat romanticized and vilified at

the same time.

Films such as Company, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Shootout at Lokhandwala were all

inspired by Ibrahim.

But despite his infamy, he's alive and well and living it up in Pakistan.

5 - Wang Wei As the founder of the mega successful SF Express,

a Chinese delivery firm, Wang Wei is worth $20 Billion.

While some billionaires might be tempted to live a fancy lifestyle complete with Yachts,

champagne, and private jets, Wang Wei prefers to keep it simple.

As one of the world's most secretive billionaires, Wang rarely gives interviews to the media

and pretty much never interacts with the public.

For fun, he's known for going on bike rides and hiking by himself.

Sounds like a pretty regular guy to me.

In one of his rare public appearances in 2017, Wang told a panel in Hong Kong that he feels

like his reclusive lifestyle has perhaps hindered his business.

He said quote "I used to think it's enough to produce a great product.

But ten years later, this resulted in the difference between two companies, one worth

$2 trillion Hong Kong dollars and the other worth $200 billion Hong Kong dollars."

Wang was referencing the difference between his company and that of Tencent, a giant Hong

Kong tech company run by the more outgoing Pony Ma.

For you guys that are wondering, 1 US dollar is worth around 8 hong kong dollars.

So with his new perspective, maybe Wang will be a bit less secretive moving forward.

4 - Diezani Alison Madueke On one hand, Diezani Alison Madueke has a

very impressive resume.

Be appointed Nigeria's transportation minister?

Check.

Become the first female president of OPEC?

Check!

Survive breast cancer?

Check.

However, she's doesn't exactly have her hands clean.

She's been charged with the loss of $20 billion from the Nigerian National Petroleum

Corporation.

Also, she's been accused of personally divesting around $6 billion from the Nigerian Treasury.

She's been accused of awarding multi-billion dollar contracts without recourse to due process

and of recklessly spending government funds, as well as of wasting billions of Nigerian

dollars inappropriately on private jets.

In 2015, she was arrested by the National Crime agency in London for corruption and

bribery.

And in 2017, a federal court in Nigeria seized $21 million from her personal bank account

along with 56 properties linked to her and some of her associates.

It's estimated that she's embezzled billions of dollars, but it's unclear what her exact

net worth is.

3 - El Chapo As far as crime lords, El Chapo is pretty

much at the top of the list.

Born Joaquin Guzman some time back in the 50's, he became known as El Chapo, one of

the most feared crime lords in the world.

As the head of the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico, El Chapo amassed a wealth in the ballpark

of a few billion dollars….but obviously no one really knows how much he really has.

He's definitely a little bit ingenious when it comes to prison.

When he was arrested in 2001, he managed to bribe Mexican prison guards to escape.

Then he was arrested again in 2014, but escaped in 2015 after he somehow made a tunnel from

his cell to freedom.

The guards were probably in on it again?!

In 2016, he was arrested by the Mexican Marines.

After weeks of monitoring what they figured was a safe house for El Chapo in Sinaloa,

they made an attempt to arrest him in what's known as Operation Black Swan.

He actually managed to escape through a tunnel into the sewers!

However, local cops were finally able to arrest him in Juan Rose Rios.

On January 19, 2017 he was extradited to the U.S and housed in a maximum security prison,

where he's currently awaiting trial.

2 - Ismael Zambada García Also known as El Mayo Zambada, he's now

the head of the Sinaloa Cartel, a position he's held ever since El Chapo's most recent

incarceration.

El Mayo Zambada was once a skilled farmer with a vast knowledge in agriculture.

Eventually he teamed up with the Sinaloa Cartel and started making a whoooooole lot of money.

And with El Chapo behind bars, El Mayo Zambada is now one of the most powerful kingpins in

the world.

He might even be THE most powerful.

In 2016, Newsweek called him "Mexico's Last Hug Kingpin."

Not only has he managed to elude arrest even after nearly four decades of crime, but all

of his money laundering fronts are still thriving.

His wife and daughters still run shell companies.

While his exact net worth is hard to predict, it's estimated that El Mayo Zambada and

his family are worth billions.

With all his money, he keeps a pretty low profile.

Rarely seen in public, he runs one of the world's premier drug trafficking operation

in the shadows.

1 - Vladimir Putin If you're looking for the most powerful

person in Russia, all you'd have to do is just look for Putin.

While he's relatively popular in Russia, many people around the world view him as a

threat to democracy as his government has been accused of meddling in elections.

He's even been accused of squashing any and all opposition to him in power.

After all, he IS a former KGB agent.

In addition to all that power, he's also super rich, even if you're not gonna find

him on any Forbes lists.

If you ask him, he's obviously not telling.

His reps would like to remind people that his income and property are published annually.

For what it's worth, Putin's reported salary in 2015 was roughy 137,000 US dollars.

Whether he's worth only a few billion, the $200 billion, or even more, what we do know

is that we'll probably never find out the real number.

Trump Uses Photo Of Shooting Victim In Fundraising Email - Duration: 3:11.

Just when you thought the Trump administration could not sink any lower, this past weekend,

they decided to send out a campaign fundraising email featuring a picture of a Parkland school

shooting survivor in a hospital bed.

The message along with that photo said that Donald Trump is working to keep our schools

safe.

He's working to ban bump stocks and increase background checks for people trying to buy

guns.

So please, donate to the Trump campaign, and just in case you forgot, here's what it looks

like when a student gets shot in school.

Now, again, this is absolutely disgusting by the Trump administration.

The students at Parkland have already spoken out and said that it is absolutely atrocious

that the president would use this image in a fundraising email, and they are 100% right.

But more importantly, Donald Trump is trying to gloss over the fact that he is the one,

who in February of 2017, rescinded the Obama era rule that made it more difficult for people

with mental health issues to get their hands on assault rifles and other guns here in the

United States.

Donald Trump did that, and now we have these republicans out there saying this is a mental

health issue.

But you made it easier for them to get the guns, though.

You did that.

Don't sit there now and try to misdirect us, saying we've got to do something about mental

health, when the only thing you've done on the issue is make it easier for them to get

guns.

Donald Trump is doing exactly what republicans have accused democrats of doing in these situations

and he is politicizing it.

He is trying to raise money off of this tragedy.

There is nothing off limits for a guy like Donald Trump, even using the image of a person

who was just shot in a hospital bed to try to get people to give money to his campaigns.

And as for that bump stock ban, well guess what, the ATF this past weekend said they

don't even have the authority to ban those things.

So so much for that talking point.

As soon as this dies down, if it dies down, Donald Trump is going to back off all of these

proposals that he's come up with, and that is why this cannot die down.

People have to remain outspoken.

These teenagers at that school have to be heard because if they aren't, if they're forgotten,

if this issue dies down, so too will the call for increased gun control here in the United

States.

They have to keep talking.

We all have to keep talking about this, and we can't let Donald Trump try to politicize

this tragedy in an attempt to raise money for himself.

Sessions had met with the Russian Ambassador – as well as other nations' Ambassadors

– but that was in his capacity as Senator from Alabama.

Schumer claimed this amounted to perjury.

The Washington Examiner reports:

SCHUMER, D-N.Y., SAID ON THURSDAY THAT PERJURY COULD BE IN SESSIONS' FUTURE.

"IT'S SERIOUS STUFF," SCHUMER TOLD MSNBC HOST RACHEL MADDOW AFTER SHE LAID OUT THE

HISTORY OF SESSIONS' EVOLVING TESTIMONY ABOUT HIS COMMUNICATIONS WITH RUSSIANS AND

WHETHER HE KNEW THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN HAD BEEN IN CONTACT THEM.

SESSIONS, PREVIOUSLY A SENATOR FROM ALABAMA, SERVED AS A FOREIGN POLICY ADVISER TO PRESIDENT

TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN.

"PERJURY IS A VERY CAREFUL STANDARD, BUT IT'S SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE LOOKED AT,"

SCHUMER ADDED."

But there was one email that proved Sessions innocent.

The FBI informed him when he was completing his security clearance forms that he did not

have to disclose the meetings with the Russian Ambassador because they occurred in his capacity

as a government official and not a member of the Trump campaign.

CNN reports:

"A NEWLY RELEASED DOCUMENT SHOWS THAT THE FBI TOLD AN AIDE TO ATTORNEY GENERAL JEFF

SESSIONS THAT SESSIONS WASN'T REQUIRED TO DISCLOSE FOREIGN CONTACTS THAT OCCURRED IN

THE COURSE OF CARRYING OUT HIS GOVERNMENT DUTIES WHEN HE WAS A SENATOR.

THE FBI EMAIL FROM MARCH BOLSTERS THE EXPLANATION BY THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT FOR WHY SESSIONS

DIDN'T DISCLOSE CONTACTS WITH THE RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR IN HIS APPLICATION FOR A US SECURITY

CLEARANCE.

WHEN THE OMISSION OF THE FOREIGN CONTACTS ON THE FORM WAS FIRST REPORTED BY CNN IN MAY,

THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT SAID SESSIONS' OFFICE WAS ADVISED BY THE FBI THAT HE DIDN'T NEED

TO DISCLOSE THE MEETINGS.

AN FBI AGENT, WHOSE NAME ISN'T MADE PUBLIC IN THE DOCUMENT RELEASED BY THE BUREAU, WAS

RESPONDING IN MARCH TO A QUERY FROM SESSIONS' ASSISTANT.

THE ASSISTANT SOUGHT CONFIRMATION OF WHAT SHE SAID WAS AN EARLIER CONVERSATION ON THE

MATTER.

AT THE TIME, NEWS OF SESSIONS' RUSSIAN CONTACTS HAD RECENTLY BECOME PUBLIC AND PROMPTED FIERCE

POLITICAL CRITICISM.

THE AGENT DIDN'T RECALL THE EARLIER CONVERSATION BUT AFFIRMED THAT "HE WAS NOT REQUIRED TO

LIST FOREIGN GOVERNMENT CONTACTS WHILE IN OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT BUSINESS UNLESS HE DEVELOPED

PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS FROM SUCH CONTACTS."

THE AGENT SENT AN EMAIL TO HIS SUPERVISOR DESCRIBING THE NEW INQUIRY FROM SESSIONS'

ASSISTANT."

For months, the media and Democrats hyped the revelation that Sessions did not disclose

his meeting with the Russians as a major bombshell.

They claimed it proved perjury.

But just like many of the Russia stories the media has published, it turned out to be a

big, fat, nothing burger.

we went to YouTube's resident vegan superstar, Edgy Veg.

- Today on "The Edgy Veg," I'm going to show you how to make

bean and cheese taquitos, pumpkin chili,

black ice cream, because it's cool and gimmicky.

I'm Candice, The Edgy Veg, and I just wrote a cookbook.

It has really good food puns.

- [Lee] Is there, like, a recipe

that doesn't have a pun in it?

- No. I just did a pumpkin video and I said, "Oh my gourd".

- [Lee] That's a 10 out of 10.

- [Candice] Thank you. - [Lee] Mmmmhmm.

You know about our friend Mel, right?

- Now I think I can relate to Mel a lot,

because I have friends that eat meat.

You know, when you tell someone you're vegan or plant-based,

right away they're like, OK, you eat, you know,

salad, and granola, and I think when people think "vegan,"

they think that you have to buy

really over-the-top ingredients.

$8 almond milk. - Yes.

- But you can actually make a lot of this stuff at home

from scratch, using ingredients

that you already have in your home.

So I think we could definitely

nail like a really good dinner party for $30.

- Hi!

- [Candice] Hi!

- Can I hug you?

- [Candice] Of course! - [Mel] I'm so excited!

- Thank you so much for coming.

- I'm nervous but I feel like

it's like you have a very chill vibe,

so I feel like I'm absorbing it, or trying to.

So I feel like as a plant-based person,

a lot of times I'm super excited about,

you know, the newest seitan or tempeh recipe

and my friends are like, "That sounds disgusting."

- We're trying to convince your friends that,

like, plant-based is awesome and cool,

and can be really hearty, so,

like a pulled jackfruit sandwich with some slaw --

really meaty, lots of barbecue sauce.

- That's a rule, I think that every meat eater

loves barbecue, that's a fact,

We can all agree on that.

- And then, like, a nice salad, but like a good salad,

not a boring salad, so like a kale salad?

Maybe with some pesto? - Yeah.

- [Lee] That's nice and hearty for a salad,

I like that, that's pretty good.

- So for the dessert I'm thinking something

really quick, easy, cheap,

we could make a coconut-based ice cream?

Grab some fruit, strawberries.

- I don't know if on $30

in New York, that's gonna fly.

- I'm a bit skeptical myself,

but I think we can pull it off.

- I'm willing to try.

- I'm a little nervous.

- I know what this is, but do you?

- [Lee] If I smell it, I'll know.

- [Candice] Smell it.

- [Lee] Horseradish. Actually it just smells like dirt.

These are those kiwi berries!

- [Mel and Candice] What? - [Lee] You bite into it

and it's like a baby kiwi.

- Stop.

- It's the cutest thing ever.

- This is like the size of a child. Like you could like...

- [Lee and Mel] Yep.

- [Candice] Let's go get some greens.

- Let's start with the salad.

Let's start with the pesto for the salad.

You can buy a smaller amount of basil

if you use the entire thing.

The stems taste exactly like the basil itself.

Half the sunflower seeds here,

and then we'll use the other half as a nice crunchy garnish.

Some salt, and about a quarter cup of oil.

My favorite way to cut kale is

to roll it, and then cut it on an angle.

Most people find kale to be bitter, the typical heath food.

- [Lee] Yeah, but then Beyoncé wore a sweatshirt

that said "kale" on it, and now...

- Now everybody loves kale.

- [Mel] I feel like kale kind of is like

the hip and trendy thing, so I feel like my dinner guests

are gonna be excited for a kale salad.

- Hip and trendy.

- Hip and trendy!

We're so hip and trendy!

- That's what it should be called,

"Welcome back to 'Hip and Trendy.'"

- [Candice] Toss the dressing in there.

We're going to wash our hands and start massaging.

- OK, let's make some pulled "pork" sandwiches.

This is young jackfruit, and you can do it in water or brine --

just not syrup, or else you will have a syrupy, sweet,

disgusting mess.

Salt, pepper, little bit of cayenne pepper,

and then some garlic powder.

And toss it right into the pan here

with a little bit of oil.

Cook that down, and make some homemade barbecue sauce.

Because we're on a budget.

- [Lee] We're gonna start with a ketchup base,

and then we have some maple syrup.

Most barbecue sauce has Worcestershire -- anchovies

in that -- so instead, we have liquid smoke, totally vegan,

[and] just a little bit of soy sauce.

Some white vinegar, some hot sauce.

- [Candice] Take half of this beautiful homemade sauce,

and once we've thrown that into the pan,

we can turn it down, and just let it simmer

for about 15 to 20 minutes

or until the fibers start to fall apart a little bit.

Mash the heck out of it. You can also do this with a fork,

but I find the potato masher is the quickest and easiest

way to do it. Plus, you can get out some aggression

that you've been holding on to from a long week.

So for the slaw, you can just buy a super-cheap slaw mix.

And then we can put together a nice little dressing,

with just some apple cider vinegar, some oil, some salt,

and some garlic powder, and some cayenne.

- [Lee] This is breaking apart really nicely.

That's amazing. - [Candice] Right?

- [Lee] Yeah, it looks like pulled pork, that's so cool!

- [Candice] Isn't that wild?

- [Lee] Yeah!

- [Candice] Nature is amazing!

So for dessert, we are going to make

a super-simple strawberry ice cream.

Start with the strawberries. To help it break down,

you can add a little bit of sugar.

And then squeeze some lemon juice on there,

some coconut cream.

You want to incorporate half of this into the ice cream

so there is a consistent strawberry flavor throughout

the whole thing, and then a little bit of vanilla extract,

about a teaspoon, and then blend it up again.

So you can pour that right into the pan,

and then we are going to fold the remainder

of the mashed strawberries into the ice cream.

And put it in the freezer, for I would say at least

four hours, but it's much better overnight.

OK Mel, I have all the confidence in the world

that you can pull this off.

I know your friends will love this meal

that you're putting together.

- [Mel] Hopefully I can convince

some non-vegetarian or vegan people that eating that way

is awesome and tasty and just like what

they're eating every day.

- [Candice] Exactly, and you know what? I know you will.

- I'm a little bit nervous, I'm like really excited.

I love dinner parties, but I really don't know

how my non-veg friends are gonna feel about this meal,

I think it came out really well, and I think

Candice had some really good tips

but we'll see what they think.

- I'm a little skeptical, I don't know what's gonna happen.

- I'm a little on edge.

- I definitely think you can make a really nice

gourmet dinner for $30,

you just have to be really smart at the grocery store.

- Tastes like barbecue.

- [Friend in black shirt] Yeah, that's so good!

This is really good.

- I think it went swimmingly, I mean,

everyone seemed pretty well-fed, it was on a budget,

I think it's safe to say that we won this one.

How to Get Rid of Bags Under Eyes and Dark Circles - Duration: 3:10.

Swelling under the eyes can appear at any age, and is annoying since the skin under

your eyes is always exposed.

This swelling makes us look older and, in most cases, is a sign of fatigue and lack

of sleep. It can also originate genetically, or due to water retention, allergies, or reactions

to medicines.

If you suffer from this problem, here are some natural alternatives that can help you:

Potatoes

Potatoes have anti-inflammatory and calming properties, which help reduce swelling. You

can slice a raw potato into thin slices and put them in the refrigerator to cool. Then

place them over your eyes, making sure to cover the affected area. Let the slices sit

there for about 15 minutes before removing them.

Cucumber

Cucumbers have similar properties to potatoes and are considered to be great natural remedies

for anyone who wants to improve how the skin around their eyes looks. Repeat the same procedure

used for the potatoes, but this time leave the slices on for 25 minutes.

Cold Compresses

Cold compresses can greatly help anyone looking to reduce swelling. Here's what you need to

do: Soak a washcloth or cotton pad in cold water and place them on your eyes for a few

minutes.

Green Tea

Due to its anti-inflammatory substances, green tea is great at treating this kind of swelling.

Soak two tea bags in room temperature water then place them on your eyes for around 15

minutes.

Resting is the most important step. You should get at least 8 hours a day. The fatigue that

comes with a a bad night's sleep is one of the main causes of swelling. If you don't

rest, none of these remedies will be able to help you.

You should also avoid eating salt, since it causes water retention. You should also drink

lots of water.

If you normally rub your eyes, try to stop. This can irritate your eyes, making the problem

worse. Since this problem can also be caused by an allergy, check and see if any of the

cosmetics that you use are causing the swelling.

Always get a good night's sleep and try to follow some of our tips. The swelling will

reduce in no time.

Hello, I'm Jeff Burton from California.

I'd like to talk to you a little bit about DRAGONGLASS.

You may have heard

that I was a co-founder of

Electronic Arts, thirty five years ago.

I've been in California

for over fifty years

and have been watching

what's going on in

high technology ever since I

graduated from the Stanford Business School.

I want to tell you three reasons

that I'm really excited about DRAGONGLASS.

First reason is that

as a non-technical person,

the entire industry of

cryptocurrency and blockchain

has been fairly difficult for me to grasp.

That's an important aspect

of what DRAGONGLASS sets itself up

to do and that is to spread the awareness

and proliferate the participation

in this new industry

throughout the world.

The second reason

is that DRAGONGLASS

is involved in the gaming industry.

That's where I got my start in my career.

First at Atari and then

as a co-founder of Electronic Arts.

One of the unintended consequences

of creating Electronic Arts

in the first place was that

we encouraged or we inspired people

to learn about programming.

The result is that large numbers of people

throughout the world have began

their technology careers by playing games.

They were able to understand and be inspired by the games.

So I wanted to learn more about that.

I think the same principle would go for and and should be involved

with people getting involved in the

blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.

The third reason that I'm interested in

working with DRAGONGLASS

is that they have a fantastic team.

Over dozen people, who are technically superior,

who understand smart contracts and UI/UX.

They have graphic designers, they have PR people, that are involved.

It's a very experienced, excellent team.

DRAGONGLASS has everything it needs in order to succeed.

They've non-technical approach to a very complex industry.

That will make it much more transparent and understandable for millions of people

They are using the gaming medium to teach people

how to engage with this industry.

And finally, the company consists of a very talented

experienced team, who can make this company succeed.

I'm really proud and pleased to be a part of

the effort that DRAGONGLASS is making

to bring clarity and enjoyment to an industry

that I think has a terrific future.

How To Meet Cool People After College - Duration: 7:17.

For better or worse, when you're in school, your social circle is kind of on autopilot

in that your friends are gonna come from the class that you're in or at least this school that you are in but

once you graduate, it can be very hard to figure out where you're supposed to go to meet cool new people

or how you're supposed to actually make them your friends.

And that's why in this video I want to give you three awesome ways to meet cool people

after graduating and this is gonna be really useful if you've just graduated or

you may have graduated a long time ago but you're moving to a new city and you have to start over

or quite frankly, anywhere in between; because these are the principles for making friends in any situation.

So first one is this — be the hub.

Now, what I mean by this is if you think of a bicycle wheel,

it's got a bunch of spokes coming into a central hub.

And the question is — in your friend group, are you more like the hub — the person who is organizing events saying,

"Let's go to my house," or "guys, do you wanted me to this restaurant at 7:00?"

or "go to this movie on Wednesday night," — or are you the person who is the spoke?

— sitting at home waiting for the text to come in which sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.

That is the downside of being a spoke. Yes, you don't have to take charge

of organizing events but you're only invited some of the time and even worse,

when one of the other spokes has a party or a cool event

and they can't invite everybody, who is the person that they invite?

It's inevitably the person that invited them; it's that hub.

And this is why people who tend to organize events or just have dinners

where they invite a bunch of people over tend to make friends

exponentially faster than the people who are just invited.

So if you want to kickstart your friend group, this is a really easy thing to do

Think of something this week that you can invite your immediate circle of friends to

or even your family and also encourage them to bring anyone that they might like —

it could be a dinner, could be movie, or it could be game night.

The second thing — I'll admit is the one that I do because I'm not an organizer;

I hate planning things and I've really almost never do it so I have to rely on this one —

and it's to be the beacon.

And what I mean by this is to stand out in a way that makes you stand out

in people's minds as a little bit different but then they associate you with other people like you concretely.

When I first left my job along with Ben,

we were dealing with a lot of conversations from our friends trying to talk us out

of quitting our jobs becoming entrepreneurs and moving to Brazil with no plan.

When that inevitably failed and we said, "No, we're going,"

they said, "Alright, at least talk to my buddy who quit his job last year

and is an entrepreneur" or "alright, you should talk to this guy

who moved to Brazil last year; he can help you sort of get your bearings."

And that's how we met our best friend in Brazil and I've met countless entrepreneurs

from other people who maybe didn't necessarily approve of what we were doing

but because we were so different in their mind, they kind of set up like friend dates

where they put us together and that had never happened to me in my life until I started to stand out.

Now, you might not be an entrepreneur and you may be wondering how do I do this.

If that's the case, there's actually a very easy way.

And it's to take a hobby of yours — preferably something you really like or

that is very different — and put it early in conversation and I've seen Ben do this a ton.

People say, "What do you do?" when you can of course say your job

but then you can say, "Also, on the weekends, I like surfing.

Now, some people won't respond to that but some people very enthusiastically will go,

"Oh, my god, man. Me too. I've been looking for a surf partner. Do you want to go sometime?"

They go surfing; if they're friendly, they hang out outside of that.

Or they'll say, "I'm not into it but my buddy is. You guys should meet," and the same thing happens.

Quite frankly, this is how I have met 95% of the people in my life;

they have come into it through Charisma on Command since I graduated college

and I am forever thankful of this — those of you who have emailed me,

my friends and my roommates, guys who came to the first ever class that I held,

a guy one of my roommates was a guy who came to the first ever class

of Charisma University which is our online course. Shameless plug —

But all of these people came in because we were the beacon and I highly recommend doing this.

If you're curious for more, I'm also going to put a link to a video

that is on finding and identifying your passion so you can put it out there —

in social media, Instagram, blogging, and YouTube.

You will be surprised and you can feel awkward and strange putting your music out there

or whatever it is that you love but inevitably, over time, people do tend to go

to the one that's raising their hand and saying, "This is what I like."

So consider being the beacon.

The third thing is going to be the easiest one and also one that can have

the funniest events which is saying yes to things that you'd never say yes to.

And when I got to Costa Rica, this is exactly what I did. I thought salsa dancing

was super lame and I also had no friends when I got to Costa Rica so

I kind of had to do what they did and I took a salsa dancing class.

I wound up meeting almost all of my friends in Costa Rica and the girl that I dated.

Later on in life, there's a ton of things that you can do; you've got improv comedy,

you've got rock climbing, you've got theater groups, and you've got all sorts of things

if you go to meetup.com and just sign up for something that you wouldn't before.

I actually did this — I went to meet up and it was called Skillshare back in the day

and there was a class on life hacks and it was held by this guy named Scott and

it looked like a cool class; it wasn't something I do but I decided to go.

And I got there and was a cool class and I actually really liked the guy giving it; I wanted to be his friend.

Now, at the event, he was the beacon.

He was the person standing there, everyone liked him, and after class, like eight people

ran up to go talk to him which I was like, "Alright, this is not me," so I had to leave.

And this is what happens when you say yes — friends aren't made automatically

just by showing up to Toastmasters or improv or some Meetup but

a few weeks later, I came across an interesting life hack and I emailed him.

And then I went back and I was the hub; I said, "You and me and my buddy should meet

up on dinner and talk because it sounds like we have a lot of common interests."

And so me and him and Ben went out to the club and went out to dinner together,

became friends... long story short, he eventually quit his job and moved to Brazil with us.

But the point of that story is that you can't just say yes.

When you go to these events, you eventually have to be the hub.

So if you go to improv and there's a handful of people you want to make friends with,

the way to do it after is to say, "Hey, my friend" or "I" or whoever it is "is going to go out

to dinner after class next week; do you guys want to come?"

If they say yes, you go to dinner; now you're the hub — you've started a new social circle.

So we have those three things — be the hub, be the beacon,

and say yes the things that you might not have said yes to before but

what that does, of course, is it puts you in a circumstance where you're surrounded by new cool people

when you're still going to have to make a good first impression on them.

So in order to help you do that, we have set up a video

that teaches you the four emotions you can make in any individual in any culture
