During the day, yeah I make my living as an acountement

(Music)

Because I love theatre, I have since I was a kid.

And I had the opportunity to do it in schools and professionally I just want to pass that love on.

And how about I Remember Mama this play, how do you compare to the other plays you have done? This one's

Um.. this one's first of all the story is very sweet.

There's a little bit of drama in it but mostly is a very sweet memory play.

The spirit of the show is also different. Say from a.. from (I don't understand this part

Just the energy you have doing the show is different.

Why do youfeel is better quality?

Bucause of the people here or ...? Yeah!

This year's group works together really well.

Um.. there have been otheres that were further behind.

When I said learn their lined they didn't listen as well as this group did.

How long does a play take from the preparation of the script to chooseing actors?

Okay, ah... choosing the script itself can take quite a while, I generally spend the summer

doing a lot of reading.

5 Fears About Starting Testosterone | Quinn Creates [CC] - Duration: 3:04.

When I was in my final year of high school I had spent more time researching

testosterone than any of my school subjects and despite my mind being totally made up about T being right for me

I still had a number of fears around it.

My hopes where that testosterone would help alleviate some of the gender dysphoria that I had, but at the same time

I was scared it would only increase the discomfort I felt about things that testosterone couldn't change for me I

Had spent so much time talking with other people; such as my parents, doctors, and counselors -

Convincing them that it was right for me to start testosterone

That it kind of felt like there was no room for any type of doubt so testosterone felt like a life-altering decision

That I would never be able to take back

if things got worse or turned out different than what I wanted it seemed like a permanent mistake that I was making

I had always fainted, as a kid, getting needles and now I was gonna have to give myself a needle once a week

Testosterone makes you lose your hair, have acne, and get a lot more body hair

I'm not saying looks are everything, but the possibility of other people criticizing the way that I look because of my changes

Was a lot for me to take in

my biggest fear around taking testosterone actually ended up being

How visual it is in a sense because there was no way of me possibly hiding

For- from all people I interact with on a day-To-day, basis that I had made this decision

Especially since all of those people knew that I was trans

So in that sense something that was such a personal struggle for me, to decide whether or not it was right for me,

was going to be on public display and of course I was

17 at the time, so people's opinions affected a lot about how I felt, so

having that- knowing that people will be watching and

Seeing something so private on display was a little bit nerve-wracking for me

Alright, so those are five years that I had before starting testosterone. Next week

I'll be discussing basically how I decided that testosterone was right for me

So why all those fears actually did not make me not take T?

Yeah, okay. That's if this week - Bye!

Alrighty, here's a tf2 glitch I found.

What you do is you sticky jump with 2 stickies.

DO THIS WHILE CROUCHED.

So basically what you've done is a cheat.

Your Demo will assume the crouch position, but his hitbox stays the same as for when he was standing.

Keep in mind, sticky jumping is still possible.

But when you stop holding down on the ctrl key, you will no longer have this glitch.

Welp, that's that. I can't edit for shit, so here's a subtitled thingy. Buh bye.

John Degenkolb's Domane: A Monumental Advantage - Duration: 1:17.

In general, I think the equipment and technical support is crucial to be successful.

If you want to try something new, then we just give it a go.

For the first ride on the Domane, I was so motivated because it felt great from the beginning.

It's possible to adjust the compliance.

For example, where you have you a lot of concrete roads in Flanders,

you don't need to have the most relaxed, soft bike possible.

If you go to Roubaix, you definitely want to have more comfort and compliance.

So, you put the level all the way down and you will feel the difference.

If you have more compliance and comfort, it helps you to save energy.

You'll need this energy at the end of the race to win the race.

When I ride full gas with the Domane, of course it's painful because you have to push a lot of watts.

At the same time, you feel that your body and the bike meld into one

and can produce more power than would be possible on a different bike.

Jet Airlift TLH under gravel system DIY | Tschechischer Luftheber als Bodenfilter - Duration: 5:46.

Hello Youtube. This week, I show you how you can build a floor filter system based on a Czech airlift. I want to demonstrate this at this 54 liter basin. If you are interested in the principle and the construction of a Czech jet lift click on the INFOBOX at the top right corner.

I use a PVC pipe with 25 mm diameter and two 90 degree connectors. I saw the first tube at a length of just under 50 cm and drill 22 holes with a 5mm drill in a row. All drill holes are later deburred with abrasive paper.

On the opposite side I drill another 22 holes. The second tube, also 25 mm in diameter, is sawn to approximately 10 cm in length and connected to the two 90-degree angles. In the background you can already see the pressure chamber, a 35 mm tube about 5 cm long and drilled with a drill hole 5 mm.

About three inches from the lower edge of the second tube I drill two rows with a 1mm drill each 30 holes per row. I have also deburred all holes with abrasive paper and re-drilled, the 60 holes have a diameter of 1 - 1.4 mm.

About the 2 drill rows I adhere the mentioned pressure chamber, here with aquarium silicone, in previous projects I have already used Tangit to glue. In the borehole of the pressure chamber I later stick the standard 4/6 aquarium hose.

Then I have two suction cups with cable ties prepared to attach the air lifter later stylishly to the side disc.

As a spout I cut off a third 25mm tube on 5 cm and bevelled at 45 degrees angle. Here at the upper angle to recognize. The suction cups with cable ties fixed at the two 90 degree angles. The pressure chamber with glued-in hose inside the 60 drill holes.

And here the intake pipe with the 5mm holes. The cat, by the way, was described by me in the last video as a cat and would like to be called again in the future Mr. Kater. The kater has checked everything here again and would now like to be fed again.

The suction tube and the lower angle I now glue with aquarium silicone in the middle of the basin. Allow the silicone to dry.

Now the air lift can be installed ...

ready for the first test run ... in this case with a bucket and normal tap water.

As pump I use a eheim 400. This pump has advantages and disadvantages, because of the low volume but here my first choice.

As you can see, the under gravel filter works perfectly, here you can see the typical little bubbles of a Czech airlift. If you want to know how a Czech airlift works and is built, check the Infobox.

Right behind the Jet lift you can see little bubbles rising, the air lift was still leaking, it was very important for me to be able to easily remove the Jetlift in such a case. This works very well even one-handed as you see here, the air lift I have glued again and now everything is 100% dense.

How I set up the aquarium, you see in one of my next videos so stay tuned. What I would like to show you is the zeolite, with a grain size of 6 - 10 mm, it protects the gravel from being sucked in, it also filters pollutants from the water.

If you liked what you see, support my channel with a thumb. I say thank you again for watching, come back soon, until next time.

SCP-2569 Blood Lamp | Object Class Safe | Biohazard / Appliance SCP - Duration: 4:00.

SCP-2569 "Blood Lamp" object class: safe

Item #: SCP-2569

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-2569 is stored in an unpowered state in a standard

secure locker at Site-15.

Experimentation with SCP-2569 may only be performed with prior authorization from Level

3 security personnel and may only be performed in a prepared testing chamber.

When powered on, no more than one (1) personnel may be within the 5 meter Red Zone of SCP-2569

except with prior medical clearance and Level 3 Senior Researcher authorization.

Description: SCP-2569 is a "Lava Lite" decorative lamp manufactured by the Lava Manufacturing

Company circa 1968, and is composed of materials consistent with other Lava Lite lamps produced

during that period of time.

SCP-2569 is distinguishable from similar appliances by its unusual mass (which is approximately

21% higher than normal) and lack of an opaque wax solution which normally gives such lamps

their distinctive appearance.

The words "we are all blod [sic] relatives" have also been inscribed onto the base using

pink glitter glue.

When SCP-2569 is powered on, a small amount of blood (approximately 5 mL per minute) is

drawn through unknown means from the aorta of all living human subjects within approximately

4 meters and into the glass vessel of the object.

This continues until the mass of blood present within SCP-2569 reaches the volume of wax

that is normally present within such lamps, after which blood continues to be drawn, but

an equal amount is returned to the superior vena cava of all affected subjects at an equal

rate.

Due to the heating of the lamp, affected subjects report feeling an unusual but not uncomfortable

warmth within their chest after SCP-2569 reaches its cyclical state.

When SCP-2569 is disconnected from power, all blood contained within it will return

to its affected subjects at its normal rate of flow, regardless of distance.

It is not known why blood drawn into SCP-2569 behaves as the normal wax mixture does, regardless

of the difference in chemical composition.

SCP-2569 came to the Foundation's attention in 2004 during a police investigation of an

incident in which a young couple discovered SCP-2569 while searching in the attic of the

husband's deceased parents' home.

From post-incident interviews, it was determined that they had found SCP-2569 among the parents'

stored possessions and had powered on the object to test whether it still functioned.

The female subject was determined via medical records to have Type AB-positive blood type;

the male subject was determined to be of Type O-negative, and he died of massive acute hemolytic

reactions to his wife's blood leading to acute renal failure and cardiac arrest.

All witnesses were administered a Class A amnestic and the official cause of death falsified

under standard disinformation protocols; a search of the home turned up no additional

anomalies.

Wits Bits: Tips on Bread Choices - Duration: 9:28.

People are always asking me

Do my kids eat a plant based diet?

Well, I wouldn't say they eat a plant based diet all the time.

Because if they are going to school

I'm going to make them lunches. So what am i going

to give them for lunch. Obviously we give

them sandwiches. So how do we make

choices on bread. So today's Wits Bits is

going to be on how to make good bread

choices. Obviously like when we're

looking at all food that has labels you

never look at the front. It doesn't

matter how beautiful they try to make

their packaging you always have to turn

it over and look at the Nutrition Facts

label. That's where the answers are, and

in the ingredients that's when you can

find out what is actually in the product

that you are buying. So here we have two

different kinds of what look like very

healthy bread. You can tell they look

healthy because they are brown

so it's obviously made from

wheat. They say whole wheat on them or

multigrain on them. But let's dive into

the Nutrition Facts label and find out

what's going on. The first thing we

always look for is the serving size. I

talk about that with all the nutrition

facts label. That's important so you can

interpret what the numbers are saying to

you. So here both of these say that the

serving size is one slice, so at least

we're comparing apples to apples. The

next thing I like to do is look at how

many calories per slice. This one here

from Sarah Lee has 80 calories per slice.

Check that 60 calories per slice. This

one from Arnold has 100 calories per

slice. So you have to think of that

because when you're making a sandwich

and you're using two slices of bread

that is an 80 calorie difference per

sandwich. So I would say this would be a

great choice just based on the calories

for a sandwich. This would be a great

choice if you want to have a slice of

toast maybe with some peanut butter for

breakfast or for a snack. You know,

because it does have more calories you

probably just want to have one piece.

[Pam] Well yeah but are you going to get a lot

of calories if you put the peanut butter

on. So maybe some avocado spread or

hummus. [Dr. Dan] Avocado spread would be something good, hummus would be

good but peanut butter isn't bad either.

Because even though it does have

calories, 100 calories per

tablespoon, you know it still is a good

choice for snack and it keeps you

satisfied but let's just move on. What's

the next thing I look at when you're

talking about bread. When you want to find

out if it's truly whole wheat bread you

go right to the ingredients and you look

at what the first ingredient is and if

that first ingredient just said wheat

flour you want to leave that one alone.

You want to make sure it says whole. W-H-O-L-E.

Whole wheat flour. Whole wheat flour

means they're using the whole grain and

that's what we always talk about. Whole

grains give you the proteins, the

nutrients because you don't get rid of

the husk, you don't get rid of the grain

that's in the whole grain.

[Pam] I do have a question here from

Meaghan. And Meghan's asking what about the

high fructose corn syrup? And the

other ingredients we shouldn't be eating.

Dr. Witkowski, can you check these

particular brands to see if they have

any high fructose corn syrup in them?

[Dr. Dan] Thank You Megan that's a great idea I'm

going to find my glasses real quick

because the print is so small.

But high fructose corn syrup,

thank you very much for bringing that up, very

important because what I wanted to bring

up next was the total carbohydrates that

we see and when you're buying bread or

even breakfast cereals. For breakfast

cereals you want your total

carbohydrates to fiber ratio to be less

than 10. And for breads you want your total

carbohydrates to fiber ratio to be less

than 5. So that's kind of hard to find

but let's take a look at these and that

will also reflect on how much sugar that

they put into these breads. Because wheat is

really difficult to eat without

something to sweeten it. It doesn't taste

good just to have plain wheat, so they add

a little sugar. Now if it's high fructose

corn syrup that is a very dangerous type

of sugar. And in here. [Pam] And these would be going

right in the bucket in that case.

Keep in mind I just picked these

up just as an example for our Wit's Bits.

[Dr. Dan] So the Arnold brand sugars

are molasses and dates, and that's

about all iI see. No high

fructose corn syrup.

In the Sara Lee I see, I see

some datum, monoglycerides I don't see

any high fructose corn syrup in this one

either. I see some cellulose

gum but no high fructose corn syrup so

thank you Meaghan for that. But still when

we look at the amount of sugar in the

Sara Lee remember it has the 60 calories

per slice, it has 1 gram of sugar, that

is really good. If we look at the Arnold

whole wheat it has 3 grams of sugar

but what the total carbohydrates in the

Arnold is 18 grams with 4 grams of

fiber. They give you a little more fiber,

a little more robust. 4 grams of fiber is

a nice number for one slice of bread so

the 18 grams divided by the 4 is a

little over 4, about 4.2

for that ratio. Under five this

passes the test. If we look at Sarah Lee

it has less sugar only 1 gram of sugar

per slice. It has 12 carbohydrates and

although it has just 2 grams of fiber

because it's so low in carbohydrates

that gives you a ratio of 6. It doesn't

pass the less than 5 ratio. Less than

5 for the ratio of

total carbohydrates to grams of fiber.

But it's really close. Not a bad choice.

I've seen worse, I've seen some breads

that are over 10. But however it really

wouldn't pass a Wit's Bits bread challenge

with a ratio of 6. The Arnold although

more calories passes the test. [Pam] Well let me say

this and somebody brought up the point

of the Ezekial Bread.

And before you

comment on that I just want to say,

this is Pam Witkowski by the way in

the background, this is Mrs. Witkowski.

We're talking right now

especially about the kids and the kids

eating this bread. And my kids, I have

tried, they will not be the Ezekiel bread.

I'm talking about my younger kids. My

older kids yes. As you know our kids

range in age from 17 to 31. Of course

my older kids because their palates have

already changed and they know the

difference they're good but the younger

ones are not inclined to eat the Ezekiel.

And also I just want to say that there

are certainly heartier breads.

Even better than these two brands we

have. But I'm talking about you know

something that you know that you're

going to trust that your kids will eat

when you make them their lunch and

that it will you know it won't be

harming them. [Dr. Dan] Even something like

the Arnold bread I know when these are

heavier breads and a little more robust

the kids don't enjoy them as much as the

lighter fluffier bread that they're used

to. You know, almost feels like the Wonder

Breads. But all you want to do is read

those labels. [Pam] Debbie mentioned that

the Pigs Fly has like 5 ingredients. That's awesome in fact that's one of

Dr. Witkowski's

nutrition less than seven

ingredients on any packaged foods.

Debbie it isn't perfect that is

absolutely right it is not a perfect

bread but I wanted to

raise the issue tonight because this is

an ongoing problem for a lot of parents

who are trying to feed their kids you

know sandwiches. Sandwiches are a real

handy thing to feed for lunch or a quick

snack, especially those athletes who need

to eat a lot and in between games,

practices, whatever and I just wanted to

help you guys with that a little bit so

I hope that this helped. Is there any other

questions? Is there anything else Dr. Witkowski

that you want to add? [Dr. Dan] Just in summary. The first thing you

want to see is that it says whole wheat

flour. W-H-O-L-E. The second thing you

want to look at sf you want to see how many

calories per slice. That's really

important or should even say how many

slices per serving too really important.

The third thing would be look at the

total carbohydrates to fiber ratio. For

breads you want that to be less than

5. For cereal let's say like breakfast

cereals that you're choosing for your

kids you want that to be less than 10. So

a couple little tips I think they help.

Sometimes you can't always

find the bread that's perfect as Pamela

was saying, but what you don't want to do

is you want to find some breads that are

better than the others and those are some

of my best tips on how to find and pick

bread for your kids. All right talk to you

guys later bye bye bye

Tracy O'Rourke and Alex Ogunji - Embracing employee ideas - part 5 - Duration: 4:06.

[Music playing]

>>Tracy O'Rourke: Can you describe the Idea Board meeting?

>>Alex Ogunji: So, very quickly.

The Idea Board meeting is something where you don't want to do project work.

It's not a Kaizen event.

It is primarily to instigate conversation about new problems and ideas.

So, you want to think about it in terms of like a huddle, where you're bringing folks

together and you're saying,

"What's going on?

"Does anyone have any new ideas?"

If there are already new ideas on the board, you want to address them.

And by addressing them, we mean discussing what the problem is behind

just the little two sentences.

It's like a Twitter thing, 120 characters.

It doesn't give you the full depth.

So, we want to get that information and then we want to record it.

So, one of the three folks that work on the board, we always designate one

of them as a note taker.

It doesn't have to be the same person.

They can rotate.

And they want to capture what's being discussed about it right then,

because you can see that the To Do column can be very large.

But we don't want to lose that discussion.

So, once we do that, we record what's going on there.

We then take that information and we put it in some sort of existent system.

We use Trello.

I don't know if any of you guys have heard of it.

Trello.com.

It's beautiful.

It's free.

It's basically an Idea Board digitally.

And we go and type the notes in of what was discussed on this idea so when

we come back six months later to talk about this one, it gets done.

So, it's really updates and discussion about new problems and ideas.

The meetings are 30 minutes to one hour, depending on how much drama you have.

[Laughter]

>>Tracy O'Rourke: Drama?

[Laughter]

>>Alex Ogunji: Yeah?

>>Tracy O'Rourke: Yes, question in the front?

>> Audience Member: At what point, and how, do you escalate an idea from

Just Do It to the Summary, the charter, and all of that?

There are a lot of...

>>Alex Ogunji: Right.

>>Tracy O'Rourke: The question is, at what point and how do you escalate

project ideas from the Idea Board to the project charters to the summary sheets?

>> Audience Member: Or to the Just Do It's?

>>Tracy O'Rourke: Or to the Just Do It's?

>>Alex Ogunji: Or to the Just Do It.

Okay.

So, all Just Do It's and all projects that get

completed, we fill out a summary sheet for.

So, the reason why we do that is because we'll never know that

it happened if it was just a Just Do It.

We have to share it.

So, the -- some Just Do It's, we'll go to a section and they'll say,

"Well, we do process improvement all the time."

I'll say, "Tell me about it.

"Let's put it on a summary sheet, and let's share it with everyone else."

It doesn't have to be done through our process.

This is where the rigidity doesn't work.

So, that's just really important for us to do it that way.

>>Tracy O'Rourke: Someone else had a question.

They raised their hand.

Yes!

I'm going to be Oprah now.

>> Audience Member: How do you prioritize the ideas?

>>Alex Ogunji: We like to leave that up to the folks that run the board,

and also the folks that participate in the board.

So, I'll give an example.

We just had an Idea Board meeting another group just kicked off.

They had a bunch of ideas that had been piling up over the past,

and they just had their first meeting.

We asked the group, "What's a priority to you?"

"What are the things that annoy you the most?

"Which are the things that frustrate you the most?"

And we tackle that one.

And then, we also always try to get a quick win, or a quick hit, as we call them,

so that we can have some kind of success to demonstrate early.

>> Audience Member: Did you have a problem that the ideas were solutions, not problems?

>>Alex Ogunji: Yes.

All the time.

And still today.

And that's why we're training our consultants to become better at

identifying what the root problem is.

If someone's bringing a solution, that means they're talking about

solving a problem.

So, we say, "What problem are you trying to solve?

"Why does that problem occur?"

And you guys know about the five whys.

We'll do the five whys to go down the causal chain to end up at

what's really going on.

So, we'll approach it with the DMAIC mindset.

Just because they're throwing a solution, we say,

"That's a great idea to solve this problem."

And then, we will consider that possible solution when we get to the

analyze and improve phase.

The female subject was determined via medical records to have Type AB-positive blood type;

the male subject was determined to be of Type O-negative, and he died of massive acute hemolytic

reactions to his wife's blood leading to acute renal failure and cardiac arrest.

All witnesses were administered a Class A amnestic and the official cause of death falsified

under standard disinformation protocols; a search of the home turned up no additional

anomalies.
