BEST & WORST Korean BB Cushion! ENG SUB - Duration: 19:27.

Hi guys!

Welcome back

First of all, if you're not an Indonesian

Please turn on the English subtitle on the setting, right here

Because i'll be speaking bahasa for the rest in this video

Thank you

In this video, it's about best and worst Korean cushion foundation

Sorry for waiting so long as the preparation for this video is quite much

And as this is a base makeup

So, i really wanna try them again and again until i get the accurate reviews

So that i can share them to you

This video is not sponsored by any party

These all are my honest reviews from my personal experiences

I also wanna point that everyone has different skin type

So, it doesn't mean that it'll be suitable for you if it's suitable for me

And the reverse things

I have 20 different brand of cushion in total

I'll share the reviews by category

We'll start with the category of best for dry skin

The cushion in this category has dewy result

Or more glowing, more moisturising

So if you have really oily skin and don't like glowing result

Stay away from this

For this category, the first one is April Skin, Magic Snow Cushion

The packaging is considered to be very simple

It's only black matte and there are words of April Skin

For the content, the cream will come out only if it's pressed

The benefit is it won't be dry quickly

Honestly, i had bad impression with April Skin at first

As many said that it's only good at the coverage

And it's soggy, not long lasting, thick, cakey, and bad

Mine is the 2nd version of April Skin

So after trying this, and i think it's right that the coverage is really good

It makes our skin looks smooth, no marks and flawless

All the time of using this, i have no problem with it and there's no glob

The result of this is really moisturised, so dewy

But doesn't really look oily

I had used it for 5 to 6 hours and it's still as moisturised as at first of using

The good thing is it doesn't wear off and is long lasting

And it doesn't adhere or stuck in the pores

And the bad thing is it's too moisturised

So i don't move so much as it may transfer to other

Overall, this is okay for me

The next one is W.Lab W-Honey Beam Cushion

I can't give review about the packaging as i only have the refill

But, there's one thing that is similar to April Skin's

Which is it'll come out only if it's pressed

I think the coverage is just so-so, like low-medium

This cushion claims that it contains honey, so it's moisturising

So the result is dewy

The durability is so-so

Not easy to wear off but it's not very long lasting

For the tone, i chose no. 21 and it's a bit bright for me

It's slightly greased but not so bad

I think this product, W.Lab, is just mediocre

So, i don't really recommend to try this as it's nothing special

Next is Missha Tension Pact

Mine is perfect cover

I really love the packaging and it's pastel

It looks clean and neat

There's rose gold nuance and that makes it look elegant

There's net filter inside

Net filter is to make the cushion cleaner, not messy

Also, when we press it, the cream will be even on the puff

Those are the benefits

As its name, this cushion is full coverage

The result on the face is nice

And i rarely put concealer on when i apply this cushion

Because i think it's enough

I love the finish of this as it's not glowing, not dewy

It's more to moisturising

So our faces look like watery, like moisturised

For the tone, Missha usually has brighter tone

Mine is no. 23 but the tone is brighter than my skin tone

If you have darker skin tone, Missha is not for you

After long hours, it's still long lasting

But our faces will look shiny, a bit oily especially on the nose area

It quite sticks on dry patches

It doesn't stick to the pores but on the dry area

Also, it's quite transferable

If you touch your face after applying this, there'll be finger print marks

But i don't know why even there's a lack, this is the one that i've been using for recently

Because i love the result

Next is Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Brightening

The packaging color is silver

This is the most expensive among all the cushions

No need to mention about the packaging

As this is the most elegant, the most classy

The coverage is lo-medium

This is quite light, so the result is natural

The thing that i don't like from this cushion is it's too dewy

Too glowing, too moisturised on my face

Moreover, i bought the wrong tone, which is no. 23

This is too dark for my skin tone

My face will look tan and oily after applying this

At any rate, it's ugly

But maybe the result will look good if i buy the no. 21

I don't know

The choices of colors for Sulwhasoo are darker compared to other brands

Like for the no. 23, it should be no. 25

For this brightening version, it's quite long lasting and doesn't clog on the pores

But the fill of this is not that much

It'll be a bit dry after few times of using

Next is Pony Effect Everlasting Cushion Foundation

There's no need to mention for the packaging, it's so elegant

But the shape is square

The coverage is medium and the result is beautiful dewy finish

As what you see on Pony's skin

Yes, the result is like that, like really smooth, shine, dewy and flawless

It's not very long lasting, but still on standard or okay

It's neither very light nor heavy

But it's medium, on average

But i don't recommend this for those who have oily skin and pimples

Stay away from this

I recommend this for those who have dry skin and normal skin

You will like it

Next, i have Innisfree Waterglow Cushion

I only have the refill for this, i don't have the case

And i think the coverage of this innisfree is low-medium

So it's more to natural

The result of this is dewy, glowing but a bit watery

But i prefer to set with powder after applying this cushion

Honestly, i'm still confused to say whether this is a really good cushion or not

I think this is more to everyday kind of cushion

The result is more natural

That's all for the category of best for dry skin

Now, we move to best for oily skin

For this category, the result of the cushions are matte

The first product is Etude House Real Powder Cushion

This is the thinnest case, the most compact and the easiest to bring anywhere

There's no refill for this cushion

But the fill is great

You can see from its pores

This is wet

So it's worth it, doesn't finish quickly

The coverage is quite good

It's medium to high coverage

As its name, this real powder has powdery finish

If you have many dry patches or large pores

This will stuck on those areas

But if you have oily and smooth skin, this will look so good on your skin

This cushion is long lasting as well

Next is the cushion from Chica Y Chico, Mat Fix Cushion

The packaging is quite simple

All is black and there's a word in the center

But this is more elegant than April Skin's

This one has medium coverage and can be built to high coverage

This cushion is really matte

Unlike the one from Etude House which has powdery result, this has a really matte result

This cushion also is long lasting

So overall, this cushion is really good for oily skin

The third one is Hera Age Reverse Cushion

I think the coverage of this is just so-so, natural to medium

Actually, i'm a bit confused that this Hera Age Reverse is for aging people

But why this has a matte result

Actually, this is not suitable for me as it doesn't make my skin lives

Like dead skin and the color is red to brown

So i don't really like this cushion

So that's all, best for oily skin

There are only 3 products

And the rest is for all skin types

For this category, it's more to satin finish

Not too dewy, not too matte, it's on the average

The first one is 3CE Fitting Cushion Foundation

Mine is the limited edition packaging, the barbapapa

Actually, it's quite cute in pink color

The coverage of this is medium

It's really good on our skin, like natural but still can cover

It also makes my skin looks smooth and poreless

Like it can cover the pores

I personally really like this cushion

Mine is no. 1, which is too bright and i should take no. 2

This cushion is long lasting that's why i love it

I like the 3CE puff the most

Among all brand, i think 3CE puff is the softest, smoothest

And this is the easiest one to blend

For me, i don't really what it lacks of

But, this cushion is considered expensive

But there's refill as well

So yeah

Next is Clio Kill Cover Kiquid Founwear Cushion

The packaging of this is like solid and firm

Heavy and quite big

This cushion has full coverage, the result is really good on skin

It's semi matte and the good thing is it's very long lasting

Also, this cushion has the fill at the most among all the brands

Just slightly press and it can cover the whole face

The bad thing is the choices for tones

All of them is too bright

So if you have darker skin tone than mine, this won't be suitable for you

Next is The Face Shop, Miracle Finish CC Long Lasting Cushion

The packaging is quite classy but it looks a bit adult

The coverage of this is also good, it's medium

The result of this is really good as well

It's smooth and not cakey

Not clog on the pores

So far, i really love this cushion too

This is really long lasting too

For the choices of color, mine is natural beige

The tone of this is nice as well, not grey at all

So it's really matching to my skin tone

The following is Hera UV Mist Cushion

The packaging of this is simple but yet classy

It's not full coverage but gives just enough coverage for your skin

Not excess but also not shortage of coverage

It look glowing at first application

But it'll be semi matte if it's dry

This is long lasting too and is the most favourite of many people

This cushion is always on the top 3 when i read any review

If you have enough money, and wanna invest on the better cushion

I recommend Hera

Next is Solwhasoo Perfecting Cushion

This has gold packaging

This is not for brightening

The packaging is kind of classy but i prefer the silver one

Which is more for younger ones rather than this, for elders

This coverage is higher than the other version

This is medium coverage but you can apply more layers up to full coverage

And it's not cakey

The result on the face looks smooth, flawless, natural

And feel luxury too

I was so impressed by this cushion at the first application

The result is really great

But after long hours, i feel that this cushion can clog on the pores

That's what it lacks of

But i don't whether it's only on me or not

If you have ever tried this cushion, please give your reviews on below

The result of this is satin finish, not dewy but a little glowing

So it's really nice

Next is VDL

The packaging of this is quite unique because it's metal inside

So you have to press to get the cream, and then apply on the face

But actually i don't really like it as it gives me an impression of getting dirty quickly

The coverage is medium and can be built to high

This the cushion that i'm wearing right now

Actually, i really like this cushion because the finishing is natural, smooth, flawless

However, it's a bit glowing but not oily

At any rate, the result is nice and there are many choices of tones

Mine is 205

This is really matching to my skin tone

Like it brightens my skin but not too fair

There are still many cushions left, but my voice is about to run out

Next is Heimish Cushion

The case is beautiful, it's classy and the color is pink

So it's quite feminine

This was my favourite cushion before i have the other cushions

The finishing is really good

If i have tired and dull skin, and i use this

It directly makes my skin look good again

But if you have pimples, this will make the pimples more visible

So, it's not really the recommendation for rough and pimple skin

This is good for those who have normal skin and suitable for daily use

Next is Laneige BB Cushion Whitening

I'm interested in this cushion because the packaging is so beautiful

This has a really light and slight coverage

Can't be built to medium

This is only suitable for those who good skin

Laneige has 2 versions, which are pore control and whitening

Some said that the pore control is more matte and the whitening is more dewy

But it's not dewy on my skin, like semi matte

It's not that good on me

Next is IOPE Intense Cover Cushion

Just like the Laneige one, this makes my skin look dead, the tone doesn't look alive

I don't know why

Whereas, these 2 cushions are the most well known

The most reviewed and loved by people

But somehow these 2 don't look good on my skin

Others look better instead

It makes the small dots on nose area more visible

That's why i don't like

The main thing is it makes my skin look bumpy

It clogs on the pores after long hour of using

I had been trying to love this one

But after few times of using, this is not suitable for me

Next is Missha Magic Cover Cushion

The packaging of mine is minion, so yeah super cute

But if you're mature, this is too childish for you

This has a great coverage, medium and can be built to high

Also, this has a good result

Our skins look smooth, flawless

This is quite long lasting but it'll a bit shiny too

The bad thing is don't apply too much because the face will look cakey

But overall, i really like this cushion

Next is TonyMoly Spoiler Cover Cushion for Flawless Complexion

This is the smallest size

For me, actually there is nothing special on this cushion

The coverage itself is just so-so

And the color is so grey

This is the most grey in color among all the cushions

This is nothing special

So, i don't really recommend you to try this

It's better try the others

Okay guys! So that's all the best cushion for all skin types

Now i'm going to divide into few categories again

The first one is best coverage

For this category i have 5 cushions

The first one is Clio Kill Cover

And then, April Skin

Then, Hera UV Moist Cushion

Also, Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion

And Missha Tension Pact

These 5 are classified as best coverage

The following category is Best Price

Which is the affordable cushion and worth it

Okay, the first one that i think it's the most worth it

It's Clio Kill Cover

The moment you buy, it's below Rp400.000 or around Rp.300.000

It's indeed quite expensive

But, the fill in this is really considerable

And the refill is really big, like 1 bottle of foundation

There's also a free primer that is considerable in fill

That's why i think this is really worth it

It's indeed expensive at the beginning, but you can use for a long time

And there's Missha Tension Pact

The Face Shop Miracle Finish Cushion

Etude House Real Powder Cushion

This also has a considerable fill

Many of you request for best for sensitive skin

This is the most difficult as everyone has different sensitive types

It might not be allergic for you, but might be allergic for the others

So i couldn't make this category because everyone has different skin type

Also, the category of best for everyday makeup is also quite difficult

Because everyone of us has different makeup for daily

The office workers might have heavier makeup

While those who don't work might have a lighter makeup

In that way, i think it's better you choose by yourself which one is suitable for your needs

Now, i'm gonna tell you which one is my favourite

Honestly, not being arrogant

But, these cushions are just okay or suitable on my skin

All is acceptable, there's none that is allergic or problematic for me

But i'll choose 7 of them that i use for often and i like the most

The first one is Hera, i like this but actually i rarely use this one

Then, Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion

I love the finish

Even though it's always clog on my pores but i'll try to apply primer on first

But i like it

Next is April Skin because this is the best glowing BB cushion for me

So i like it

Next is The Face Shop Miracle Finish CC Long Lasting Cushion

I love to apply this one when i want a natural makeup

And, the tone of this is really matching to my skin tone

And then, i have Missha Tension Pact

I love this as this makes my skin looks watery, moisturised

Love it

And these 2 are the top favourites

I think i like this one the most for now

Really good on my skin but a bit troublesome as have to press to get the cream

I also really love the 3CE one

But the thing is i bought the wrong color, i bought no. 1 which is too bright

I think i'll use this everyday if this is no. 2

Now for the category of hates, that is not suitable and not good on my skin

But this doesn't mean that they won't look good on your skin

This is just my personal opinion

The first one for the category of hates is TonyMoly Spoiler

This is because the tone of this is too pale

Like a corpse pale

So, it's a no

Next is IOPE, i'd been trying so hard to love you

But you made my skin look bumpy

So, no!

Next is Sulwhasoo Perfect Brightening

This broke my heart because i had high expectation on this

But i bought the wrong color and it's too soggy on my skin

Next is Hera Age Reverse

I'm so confused why all the expensive cushions are not suitable to my skin

I don't know

This is also really bad on my skin

The tone is too red, the finish is dry

No no

Alright guys! Thank you so much for watching

Burger végétalien de pommes de terre et lupins | Riche en protéines - Duration: 5:30.

Hello and welcome to my kitchen

today I am going to prepare potato/lupin-based burgers

particularly rich in proteins

ingredients: lupini beans or lupin flour (100g/3.5oz)

and potatoes (600g/20oz, boiled leaving the skin)

let's begin by preparing lupin tofu

Cook the lupin flour in a pot over low heat

add water (30 cl / 10 fl oz), stir continuously and let cook for a few minutes

Do not let the tofu stick to the pot

The final product should look like this

let cool down (I already prepared another portion 1 hour ago)

now boil the potatoes leaving the skin

you need hard potatoes for this recipe

with a 200g/7oz potato you will be able to make one veg burger

grate

Take a handful of grated potato

shape it like a nest

fill it with tofu

and cover with more grated potatoes

you can make different burger sizes

Now it's time to fry the burgers in olive oil

You can of course stuff the burgers with ground lupini beans instead of flour

I hope you enjoyed my recipe, until next time!

She also splits off to do her own solo works

Umu: And this is her most recent- Lindsey: And Shake that Brass

Umu: Yes and Shake that Brass

Shimon: Yeah th- th- their popular in Japan. I've heard of them

*Says GG in Japanese* (I'm an English captioner so don't expect translations lol)

Naoki: What's that

Shimon: *Girl in Japanese* Naoki: Oh Girl

Naoki: Yeah

Shimon: *Continued Generation in Japanese* Naoki: What's jidai, something question?

Shimon: Generation

Naoki: Oh ok

Shimon: Yeah exactly Naoki: Oh they have a separate Korean and Japanese name is what you're saying

Shimon: Yeah yeah yeah yeah Naokie: Oh

Emiel: I Got Love

Umu: So this is her most recent one that also came out a few days ago and I was just like this is different (Note: this is old footage)

Like I mean it's a little bit more American pop-y but still I just really enjoyed listening to it and it would be cool if you guys explained what you liked about it too

Kevin: Dabaga go

*Click*

Gwen: Oh f*** me up first of all those boots Hugo: F***ing glitter

Kevin: Tch that's pretty Yunyi: Spark-

Henry: Wow! Fiona: Oohhh

Kevin: Acoustic drum

Hugo: Oh f*** Gwen: Yeah

Kevin: Oh yeah

Yunyi: Oh it's like modern cabaret

Lindsey: Immediately oh woah

Kevin: Oh filters

Henry: Wwwwow

This is pretty intense

Naoki: I mean the voice is completely different

Hugo: Damn!

Ungh

Yunyi: That bass is overwhelming but in the best way

Henry: Is she like lowkey running a very very lucrative yet very very illegal diamond- Emiel: this is like the most diamonds

Emiel: -I've ever seen in my entire life

Henry: Trade or something Fiona: She's beautiful

Hugo: Music wise, holy sh*t! Gwen: Teehahah

Kevin: Suspensions overload

Gwen: You know those songs that when you're wearing six inch heels

Gwen: You put on and you're just- Hugo: Yeah, f*** yeah!

Fiona: Yes Henry: So much gliteeerrrr

Gwen: And you like- you walk and it's just like, murder

Emiel: Wow

Kevin: Of the kpop songs we've heard this one borders on American pop a little more than the others Yunyi: It does

Kevin: Yeah

Fiona: Oooh Henry: Oooh I see

Yunyi: OOohhhh Woah! Kevin: *flips out* that's-

Lindsey: I like how it seemed like there should be a drop but then it just went ptttptp

Gwen: And it's like- Hugo: I love this minimalism here

Naoki: There's guitar with like a modulator thing

Kevin: It's a very filtered Umu: Saxophone

Kevin: Saxophone Yunyi: It sounded almost like a flute

Kevin: Yeah

Naoki: Does it sound like a wind- It doesn't sound winded like a wind instrument Shimon: No it was definitely plucked

Emiel: This song definitely has an acquired taste to it Henry: Yeah

Henry: I don't know if I have the taste Emiel: If you don't have the taste for this, you definitely don't enjoy it

Emiel: as much as you should if you had the taste for it

Henry: Do you have the taste for this kind of music Fiona: I think I kinda like it Emiel: See I'm kinda half way which is why I'm not really gettin the full of it

Lindsey: Oh there's no beat anymore now

Umu: Is her voice good?

Yunyi: I love those fourths Kevin: Blown by the instrumentals

Yunyi: I love those fourths

Kevin: Yeah it's pretty well done

Gwen: It's- it's good for the style

Hugo: It's lower

Hugo: It's lower than most kpop artists we've listened to Gwen: yeah it's- she's- she's hella alto

Kevin: Duuuuut

Hugo: She knows how to use her range though

Kevin: I like how the- the note's a little sharp

Yunyi: Yeah yeah yeah

Again, microtonal composition

Kevin: It's almost a half step sharper

Umu: *yawns something* Yunyi: Almost Kevin: Yeah

Yunyi: It's like a little past a quarter tone Kevin: Uh huh

Henry: Ta- there was just drums for no reason

Ooh

Hey now

Kevin: You're right, harmonically it's as simple as it gets

But it totally captures the vibe

Lindsey: It- it like- It just like slightly scoops up a little it's like BWAAH BWaah Bwooh bwuuh

Naoki: It's almost jazzy with that kind of range

Like that kind of sound as well when she's down lower

Henry: I love the diamond imagery of like all- like

You know like the multiple frames, like the sort of kaleidoscopey sort of thing

And then there's the ff- the shot where she's like in the mirror

Hugo: Ooh that was good that was really f***ing good!

That vocal line had just the right amount of resonance to it

It was like, it wasn't belty but it wasn't screaming

Lindsey: You- It like-

When you're just listening to the backgrounds you almost don't really feel a strong

Naoki: Is it plugged I can' tell

Lindsey: Key or like

Whatever but I mean there definitely is one

Emiel: Sharp four

It's like sharp four to five on the top line. It's kinda uhggmh

Gwen: Hell yeah

Hugo: It was

Different but I liked it. It was definitely different than anything we've watched so far

Umu: Ok but yeah what did you think overall of that song?

Naoki: Yeah that was cool

Shimon: Very different Naoki: I'd like another listen to it I think

Hugo: This is empowerment Gwen: This is like a woman who's like rich husband that didn't really love her died

Gwen: 4 months ago and she's not sad about it

His massive champagne collection she's just like bathing in it and she's just like soooooo- Hugo: What the f*** are you talkin' about! (Same)

Gwen: Cool Hugo: What the f*** are you talking about Umu: I can see it, I could see it!

Gwen: She's a badass woman

Hugo: I d- no that I do not argue with I'm just like how did you get to that storyline

Fiona: She's fabulous she's like *sassy snap* I'm in charge

Henry: That definitely was like- Emiel: Took control of the stage Fiona: Girl you got it

Hugo: It was a really cool song, it was kind of- Gwen: I liked it!

*Hugo so done*

Gwen: That was on- Hugo: Yeah

Gwen: That was on purpose Hugo: Yeah yeah

Hugo: Ok you know what else is on purpose *Pretend punch*

Umu: HAHAHAHHAHA Gwen: :000

Umu: But she's never done this type of video. She usually does like very nature, natural

Lindsey: Oh then this is an awesome contrast to that Davis: Oh ok Umu: So this is new

Davis: Then this is incredible Lindsey: Then this is like- this is like I am woman

Lindsey: Hear me roar

Lindsey: Awwrrrrrrr hehehe Davis: Yeah that's where I'm getting all the beyonce from

Umu: Ok LIndsey: That's- that's what I'm getting from her Davis: Very female empowering

Emiel: Bass was good, the mids and the highs were eennnnggg a bit questionable

Emiel: But it was good

It was kinda- it wasn't as enjoyable as it could've been if I had like the taste for it

Umu: Mhm Henry: They used a synthesizer that kinda sounded like a very distorted guitar but it was so like

I thought that was Fender Rhodes that was really really distorted

Umu: Oh Emiel: It could've been too Henry: The Eeeng eenng unng unnnngg

Umu: It sounded like backwards saxophone to me Emiel: Honestly you can make any-

Henry: Fender Rhodes

Umu: But honestly like just what you said, you didn't get tired of it

Umu: Because I was listening and I'm like this is repetitive but *Whispers* I like it Kevin: Exactly yeah Yunyi: Yeah

Umu: *Whispers* What the f***

Yunyi: Cuz it's so funky that you just want more of it each time Umu: And like the video was so cool

Kevin: Yeah, I like how it uses video effects more than just like glamorous background

Like sometimes you know there's the little *noise* the little mosaic that kind of appears for a little bit

Kevin: It's- yeah, nice for retro Yunyi: It was so- It was just so classy

Kevin: Mhm I agree

Umu: Let's do, let's do Taeyeon I

So this is her original style. She's more of like a natural, naturey type of person *Reaction filmed a few weeks later, hence the change of clothes lol*

Umu: and this is very more acoustic and- Shimon: nature

Umu: Wait, first introduce yourself while you're feeling Gwen's hair

*WOOOO ANOTHER PERSON*

Jeremy: Hi I'm Jeremy, I am subbing for Hugo right now

I am a freshman vocalist and I have participated in the vocalists react *Ep 2 coming soon*

before but you have not seen that yet so stay tuned

Umu: Hugo is super busy (dead jk) for the next few weeks with opera

Gwen: Sooo we kicked him out Jeremy: Even though I'm in the opera too

Gwen: Yeah basically subtweet Hugo

Gwen: Get your life together Jeremy: Like @Hugo come here (That's not his handle btw)

Gwen: Hey at least he won't

Hate me

Umu: You've seen I Got Love Jeremy: I have

Umu: What were your first thoughts

Jeremy: Uh well the video was like

A little

Jeremy: Odd but Umu: Hyaahahahaha

Jeremy: Not out of line of what a lot of people are doing with American pop music as well

And the music I liked a lot except for like there was this one part of the chorus that just like

Was a little freaky

Jeremy: I don't know Umu: Freaky, is that the part where she stops singing and then it was like the weird synth part

Gwen: Nyewww

Jeremy: Yeah it's like a weird sound I don't know what it was

Umu: Yes I know what you're talking about Jeremy: Yeah it was a little freaky

Umu: Let's go

*Misses click*

*Click*

Umu: Tah XD

Henry: Look at all that ocean

Gwen: One, Taeyeon (Gwen she just told you it's I)

Kevin: Portland?

Henry: Are they in Portland?

Kevin: Oh my gosh

Henry: I love Portland, Oregon. Its- tha- that was the state of Washington (Henry you just said it's in Oregon)

Gwen: Grass

Hnenry: Aw Emiel: Got some nice photoshoots here

Henry: Oh it wasn't the state of Washington. It was Portland... Oregon

Shimon: Oh I remember her last intro too Naoki: Wait is she speaking English

*Swooned*

Henry: Wow Fiona: Is this country haha Emiel: Good voice

Henry: Is this country XDXD

Jeremy: She sounds a lot more natural here

Naoki: Man this is pretty cool

That bass, I'm liking that bass

Emiel: Yeah her voice is really good

Yunyi: Oh Kevin: Oh no what

Henry: Sevenths unnng that's beautiful

Shimon: I like that

Gwen: Also

This guy's

cool

Emiel: Some good rapping

Shimon: White people (Omg lol)

Yunyi: I just kinda wanna listen Kevin: My chem- I'm getting My Chemical Romance

Yunyi: How? Kevin: Vibe

Yunyi: Oh the duh diguduhduh Kevin: Yeah, yeah yeah yeah

Gwen: Oh don't yell at her she's really cute

Henry: What's the deal with him Fiona: You jerk

Naoki: What's that, I don't remember Shimon: SHEEP!

Naoki: SHEEP IT MUST BE FILMED IN NEW ZEALAND Shimon: SHEEP SHEEP SHEEP

Gwen: She- yeah she has an actual like

Resonance in this style

Davis: Wow I don't know how to describe this music right now

Davis: You know what I mean. What are- it sounds like

Lindsey: The whole thing's like over a tonic pedal

Lindsey: You hear like NNnnngngngnng

Jeremy: This style of music is much more suited for her voice. I'm not saying the other song wasn't it's just that they're such different extremes

Kevin: The melody is still very kpop though

Dun duh dun duh dun dun dun dun

Naoki: OH WAIT WAIT GO BACK I HAVE TO STOP IT Shimon: No no no no we can't

Naoki: Yes we have to go and see that city Shimon: We can't go back no no we're already recording

Naoki: Ok we're checking after Shimon: We can go back after we're done

Kevin: Like you don't hear that in American

Kevin: It's like so based on a pentatonic scale, I mean there are a couple of other notes but there's like a pentatonic skeleton Yunyi: You're right

Kevin: I like pentatonic skeletons

Davis: This is like straight up Caucasian, just American pop music right now

Yunyi: What is even happening harmonically

Yunyi: Has it- I feel like it just- Kevin: I think it's intriguing

Yunyi: Bit on one and moved

Kevin: Yeah Yunyi: From ch- like third relations

Emiel: There's nothing that pops out like it usually does you know there's always something weird that sticks out like right off the bat

Kevin: My life is so beauti-.... ful

Ful? *looks to umu for reassurance*

Umu: Are you liking the instrumentals and the melodic lines

Jeremy: Yeah, I liked it more so in the beginning Umu: Mhm

Jeremy: But I still really like it Gwen: Well I really like- I like the kind of strummed electric guitar in the background a lot

Henry: Is she just about to quit

Henry: Do it, Do it! Fiona: Quit your job. She's quitting her job Emiel: Oh

Fiona: She was inspired by the magic butterfly I told you

Henry: I'm out

Henry: Adios b*tch Emiel: Butterfly changed her life Fiona: Screw you

Fiona: I'm stealing your car Henry: I'm ta- hah I'm steal Emiel: Hahahaha

Henry: *gibberish*

Fiona: *Gibberish*

Davis: Yeah it's pretty vanilla I think they something to spicen it up here

Umu: Mhm

Lindsey: Do you he- There is seriously a tonic pedal going on in the entire thing Davis: Oh yeah, yeah

Naoki: That looks like a New Zealand pay machine. Like it actually does Shimon: MMMMMMmmmmmmmmm

Kevin: Oh my gosh Yunyi: Right

Yunyi: Beauty standards

Yunyi: Out the roof right now Kevin: Yup

Yunyi: Sev, one, five, three

Fiiivee, threeee

Yunyi: Seeevvveeennn Kevin: It's interesting how-

Kevin: Unlike other pop songs this one substitutes a five chord with a five like-

Naoki: She's gonna eat the flower hah Shimon: Hah I thought she had butterflies

Naoki: Oh haha

Kevin: Six four chord, one six four chord. So the bass is still five but it's like

Shimon: It's squirming inside her mouth Umu: *is eating salad and dies* Oh my god HAHahahah Naoki: Waaaiiit that acutally looks really fa- familiar

I feel like that's in Paihia (I looked that up guys I'm proud)

Gwen: Wait it has very rock vibes, like very soft rock vibes but then there's the electronic beats and

stuff like that under it with some synth

Yunyi: yeah this ch- this ch- Kevin: Product placement XD

Gwen: If she was a waitress how does she afford a BMW (She stole her boss' car remember)

Umu: Heh

Jeremy: Rich daddy (That word causes me physical pain but lol)

Yunyi: This song is like, exploiting

how the major seventh chord on one utilizes like both tonic and dominant functions (This honestly sounds like math)

Umu: It was shot in New Zealand

Naoki: I told you

Gwen: It's just so powerful

It's like overwhelming in a good way

Kevin: I guess so Yunyi: It's kinda cool cuz if you just play within the major seven chord and add in like, add in a nine

You get like scale degrees one, two, three, five and seven. And then so you can build dominant and tonic- SO IT CAN BE DOMINANT AND TOMIC!

Yunyi: Dominant- Umu: YOU DID IT AGAIN!!

Yunyi: Dominant and tonic!

Shimon: WOooooaaaaaahhh Naoki: Wait what

Yunyi: At the same time

Naoki: What

Fiona: -a minute, wait there's two of them!

Kevin: Woah

Henry: What Fiona: Did you just see that

Kevin: Oh double the beauty standards

Gwen: I'm confused she's lookin at herself

Yunyi: Woah

Gwen: She's lookin at herself

Naoki: Wait are the- they representative of two different styles or something

Lindsey: Oh she's living two different liiiveess because that's the one in New Zealand and the one in f***in Portland, Oregan Davis: But she's saying, I

Kevin: Wumppumpumpumpumpumpum (Yes I counted the pums)

Kevin: It's just me myself and I (Oh my gosh)

Fiona: AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

Jeremy: Yeah there were two different storylines

Fiona: So she was missing her inner self, she just met her inner self on the beach because

She- she lost herself by going and taking that crappy job, by putting up with stuff she had to change herself as a person to make others happy

And she quit everything, she came to that beach and found her- her real self in the wild with sheep

Emiel: Wow

Shimon: You wanna check the city scape

Naoki: Yeah yeah let's do that

It looked like the Auckland city scape just putting it out there now that I know it's in New Zealand

OH!

Hang on

*Click*

Naoki: That's the sky tower, that's the ANZ building (I had to look the 2nd one up too lol)

That's the ver- That's the toilet seat building! (Vero Centre, it does kinda look like one)

So that means she's probably filming ooonnn the north shore like at Devonport

Umu: I wonder if they did film in two places, No when I looked it up it just said New Zealand (It was a bar in New Zealand called The Portland Public House)

Umu: But it could be like- it could be like Lindsey: Well it said Portland cafe and everyone was super American so (Her older brother was in the cafe apparently)

Umu: What did you think of this song musically, her voice

Gwen: Oh it was pretty, it was just really pretty

Jeremy: Yeah I think her voice is really nice

I- I mean I would want to hear something acoustic

Of her

Jeremy: She sounds really good Gwen: Well this, was comparatively pretty acoustic but Umu: Right

Umu: We're definitely gonna be hearing more of her Um I'm just running a few things by Kevin and to make- to double check like to make sure like hey is this musically interesting enough for us to react to

Davis: Oh you can hear it going where it's gonna go Lindsey: Oh I agree, the whole thing seems very Americanized

Davis: I don't know there's just like a depth that isn't really there it was just a little underseasoned

Umu: Did you at least like her voice

Davis: Yeah she had a good voice Lindsey: Oh yeah no she's great but it's just the song itself, like the overall song was just meh

Lindsey: I didn't- it's not that I didn't like it

I just

Didn't like it

Kevin: I don't think it's that American Umu: Ok

Kevin: It's definitely that pop rock area like maybe a little towards the Coldplay side

Fiona: I like that the chorus is really catchy, *Sings chorus*

Which got kinda old

Henry: That was some pretty aggressive seventh motion happening Fiona: It was- it was so powerful

Emiel: Her voice is just really good too Henry: Her voice was really good

Umu: Can say like why out of first listen someone might think this sounds American-y

Kevin: The chord progressions for sure Yunyi: Yeah dude it was just kind of on one chord the whole time

Yunyi: But then, the major seventh chord Kevin: It kind of- yeah the thing is

Kevin: Dominant is the chord that wants to go to tonic

But in this- Ugh I'm gonna, i'm gonna come on do the thing do the thing

The chorus goes like

The bass notes are

just very very

Simple

And most artists would do

So we hear this chord we think it goes either to here or here because...

That's the dominant chord, it likes to go places

But in this song

She substitutes it for

It's like a six four chord

And it doesn't want to go anywhere, it- just the whole song just feels like you know it feels more mellow, it feels more vanilla and it feels like

Not directionless because of the rhythm still leads it but like it's just

Harmonically not as driven

Dude I didn't even hear chord changes in that song, I- I heard everything- Kevin: Really it's because you see the seventh

yunyi: yeah I heard everything

yeah I heard everything as suspensions or appoggiaturas of the major seventh chord

yunyi: cuz like the....root was like hammered in like the

whole song umu: *sings* root root root

umu: rooooot is this rooot yunyi: yeah that's root

kevin: root is one, but the chorus actually doesn't have the root...you see the chorus just goes umu: still singing root

umu pls

yunyi: in the instrumentals it wasn't there

kevin: because there's no dominant, everything feels like one

yunyi orr- like but the things is it's not like totally placid

because like again you know, kevin: sounds pretty placid to me I think

Yunyi: Well it's obviously not just

Yunyi: one one one one one one one one it's because like she sings on like, she sings on the appoggiatura

Yunyi: and suspensions which makes it feel like there's not a dominant Kevin: So maybe the whole piece is plagal because it just goes foooouuurrrr

Kevin: Like four is literally the only other chord- well there is the minor, nevermind

I think we're making this pop song too- we're going a little too far with this pop song

Umu: If we're comparing this to I Got Love, which one do you like better

Gwen: This one Jeremy: Uhh yeah this one

Naoki: Oh this one is way better, it's way more authentic. Like I'm not biased at all Shimon: Hahahahaha

Shimon: Hahahaha Naoki: It could be filmed in Australia and I'd still say the same thing

Umu: But only music-wise

Naoki: No I actually really liked it, it like

Shimon: Was peaceful

Naoki: Yeah it conveyed this kind of like natural kind of atmosphere

Shimon: I like this one better, it was laid back and you know we needed the variety of intense music and peaceful music, it's a nice balance

Umu: Ok so right after that you guys already like I Got Love better?

Davis: Oh yeah Lindsey: Oh yeah yeah yeah

Fiona: I like this one more

Umu: Ok so both of you I Got Love better?

Kevin: Yes Umu: Even though it was like a style that isn't her usual

Kevin: Oh yeah Yunyi: I Got Love for love, like I got- I love

Kevin: You got love for I Got Love Yunyi: W- I can not talk today

Kevin: I got love for love XD Yunyi: I think I'm having a Hugo and Gwen 3 hours of sleep moment

Open Access: Major FERC Orders: Part I, Order No. 636 - Duration: 13:20.

Welcome to Open Access, the podcast series of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission,

or FERC.

I'm Craig Cano, your host.

Our goal here is to have a conversation about FERC, what it does and how that can affect

you.

FERC can get very legal and very technical, so we will strive to keep it simple.

FERC is an independent regulatory agency that oversees the interstate transmission of electricity,

natural gas, and oil.

FERC's authority also includes review of proposals to build interstate natural gas

pipelines and liquefied natural gas terminals and licensing of nonfederal hydropower projects.

FERC protects the reliability of the high-voltage interstate transmission system through mandatory

reliability standards and it monitors interstate energy markets to ensure that everyone in

those markets is playing by the rules.

The evolution of wholesale energy markets in the United States has been a remarkable

achievement.

But the open, competitive, and reliable markets that we rely on today could not have come

about without a major policy shift that occurred in a pair of landmark FERC rulemakings in

the 1990s.

The rules cracked open the monopoly hold that electric utilities and natural gas companies

had on the transmission of those commodities that are so critical to not just our economy,

but to everyday life.

So we begin a two-part series on these decisions, Order No. 636, which, among other things,

required gas pipelines to provide interstate transportation on an open access basis, and

Order No. 888, which did the same thing for the interstate transmission of power.

Today on Open Access, a FERC Podcast, Mary O'Driscoll and I are sitting down with Anna

Cochrane, Deputy Director of FERC's Office of Energy Markets and Regulation, to talk

about what prompted FERC in 1992 to require the separation of the natural gas commodity

sales from natural gas pipeline transportation, some of the hurdles the Commission faced,

and what has been the impact of Order No. 636.

Thanks for joining us today, Anna.

Now as I understand it, natural gas pipelines before the early 1990s not only transported

natural gas but also sold it.

So a producer would sell gas to a pipeline in the production area, then the pipeline

would sell gas to the local distribution company like your local utility.

Then the local distribution company would then sell that gas to the ultimate consumer,

you and me.

So today, we have a much different system in which the sellers of the commodity and

transportation been separated.

So can you walk us through those changes?

Sure, Mary.

Really it was is a confluence of events that prompted the Commission to reform its regulation

of the natural gas industry.

Today, we are blessed with an abundance of natural gas supplies, and it is one of our

most important resources for heating people's homes as well as generating electricity.

It's difficult sometimes to remember that in the 1970s, we were actually concerned about

running out of natural gas, and there were restrictions on its use.

Many pipelines lost significant portions of their markets to other fuels or other sources

of gas supply.

In addition, the oil embargo created volatility in energy markets.

So, is this when FERC got involved?

Congress actually took the first steps to attempt to address issues in the gas industry

as well as in other regulated industries.

At this time, Congress and the courts were restructuring or deregulating a number of

heavily controlled markets including the airline, telecommunication, trucking, and rail industries.

These efforts introduced competition with the goal of improving efficiencies and spurring

innovation.

Congress enacted the Natural Gas Policy Act of 1978 to address interstate natural gas

supply shortages by providing federal price incentives to spur production and by integrating

the interstate and intrastate markets.

And was that successful?

Well, these changes achieve the intended result of improving production, but the price incentives

resulted in above-market prices.

Many pipelines had already signed agreements with producers to purchase large quantities

of gas under so-called take-or-pay contracts and now they had to pay above market prices.

The long-term take-or-pay contracts required the pipelines to pay producers for the gas

supply even if the pipelines did not need the gas to serve their customers.

And, the pipelines were allowed to flow through the actual cost of their supplies to their

local distribution company customers, many of whom were captive customers, meaning they

did not have any alternatives.

Anna, exactly what did FERC do?

The Commission took a series of incremental actions intended to give the pipelines'

captive customers access to other sources of supply, to give sellers access to other

markets, and to introduce competition into the pipeline industry.

First, in 1985, the commission issued Order No. 436, which provided a framework for interstate

pipelines to offer transportation service on an open-access basis so that their local

distribution company customers could buy gas directly from producers and have the pipeline

transport it to their city gate.

Prior to Order 436, every transportation agreement had to be individually submitted to the Commission

for approval.

After 436, transactions were self-implementing, so long as they were reported to the Commission.

Pipelines were provided the opportunity to offer new services and price them flexibly

in order to meet competition and improve their throughput.

The result was that local distribution companies can more easily buy natural gas directly from

producers.

New entities came on the scene - natural gas marketers - and a vibrant spot market

developed.

This, however, only got the industry so far.

The Commission had not yet address the growing take-or-pay problem and producers argued that

they were not able to compete fairly with the pipelines' bundled sales function.

OK, so I see where this is going.

So this created two distinct markets: one for the spot market dominated by non-pipeline

suppliers and then one for the firm supplies dominated by pipelines.

So what was it that finally prompted FERC to go in the direction of the major rule like

Order 636?

Well, the time was right to make the natural gas transportation system more efficient.

And the Commission needed to tackle the problem that the pipelines were saddled with high-cost

and long-term supply contracts but could not recover all those costs from their customers

especially now since their customers had other alternatives.

The Commission encouraged the pipelines and producers to enter into settlement agreements

to buy out or buy down the take-or-pay contracts, and the pipelines were provided an opportunity

to recover the settlement payments from their customers.

So Order 636 came after that?

No, there were a few other fixes that Congress and the commission made before the commission

issued Order 636.

A key piece of legislation was the Wellhead Decontrol Act of 1989, which removed all regulation

of first sales of gas.

In other words, the Wellhead Decontrol Act removed the high natural gas prices that had

been put in place in 1978 to incentivize production.

And, as part of that law, Congress directed FERC to regulate pipeline capacity to, quote,

"maximize the benefits" of decontrol.

The Commission issued a few more rules that, while helping to fix individual instances

of problems in the market, did not change the basic bifurcated nature of the gas market.

And that was, most firm sales continued to be made by pipelines at high cost above market

prices that were flowed through to captive customers, while spot sales were made by others

at highly competitive prices.

OK.

And so then Order 636 fixed that.

Yes.

As we've discussed, prior to Order 636, pipelines sold the natural gas commodity and transportation

as a bundled service.

The most important element of Order 636 is that it required pipelines to unbundle, or

separate, their transportation and sales services back to the wellhead.

So if a pipeline wanted to continue to sell gas, it had to sell it in the production region,

in competition with other suppliers, and then receive transportation on its own pipeline

on the same basis as its customers.

As a practical result, pipelines generally decided to leave the sales business.

Because transportation service was now separate from the sale of the gas commodity, Order

636 allowed a customer to purchase the natural gas commodity directly from a producer and

marketer, and still receive the same level of transportation service from the pipeline

as the customer received when it bought the natural gas commodity from the pipeline as

part of its bundled service.

Well that sounds like unbundling was a pretty big change.

Yes, it was.

After decades of authorizing bundled sales, as the Commission moved toward opening up

the pipeline industry, it became concerned that the pipeline had an incentive to favor

its own merchant business over other shippers on its pipeline.

In Order 636 the Commission said bundled sales cause, quote, "considerable competitive

harm" to all segments of the natural gas industry, and those bundled sales amounted

to a, quote, "unlawful restraint of trade."

In other words, the Commission concluded that continuation of bundled merchant or sales

service would violate the law, the Natural Gas Act.

So that statement was pretty revolutionary because it meant that all interstate pipelines

had to unbundle their sales and transportation services and to offer each service individually

on a nondiscriminatory and non-preferential manner.

OK, so tell us some other important elements of Order 636.

Sure.

Order 636 required pipelines to redesign their transportation rates so that the majority

of fixed costs, which are those costs related to the physical pipeline facilities, would

be recovered through a monthly reservation fee, with variable costs, or those costs that

change based on pipeline usage, being recovered through a fee charged on the natural gas actually

transported each month.

This new rate design helped promote competition among natural gas suppliers.

Next to unbundling, in my opinion the most influential change made in Order 636, was

the creation of the capacity release program.

For the first time, a secondary market for pipeline capacity became available.

This provided the pipelines' firm customers with the opportunity to resell unused capacity

to others.

OK, so Order 636 made some fundamental changes to how pipelines operated.

Did the customers have any concerns about how this would work?

Yes.

During the development of Order 636, some of the pipelines' historical customers were

concerned that they may lose some of the flexibility they were used to, as a result of unbundling.

In order to address that concern, the Commission required pipelines to develop what was called

a no-notice transportation service intended to retain that flexibility.

Similarly, pipelines expressed concerns that they would lose the flexibility that they

historically had to operate the pipeline flows during periods of stress.

In response, the Commission gave pipelines the ability to issue operational flow orders,

or OFOs, when necessary to ensure reliable operation of the system.

Order 636 also improved transparency by requiring pipelines to set up electronic bulletin boards

to provide customers with timely access to information about the availability of service,

and to provide transparency on the services the pipeline offered.

Finally, after Order 636, interstate pipelines were no longer under the obligation to have

transportation rates examined by FERC every three years.

Okay, so now it's 25 years later.

So what does this mean for us?

Is Order 636 still important?

How's the rule held up over the years?

Yes, Order 636 is widely considered a success.

It fostered greater competition among natural gas suppliers and pipelines in the creation

of a vibrant secondary market, means that shippers now compete with pipelines.

As a result, pipelines have incentives to operate more efficiently and to lower costs,

which have translated into significant cost savings for customers.

Increased competition among gas suppliers has also resulted in increased efficiencies

in the natural gas market, lower wellhead gas prices, and reduced delivered gas prices

for customers.

Improved pricing and market signals also indicate areas where infrastructure is needed.

OK.

Former Obama Official Describes Last Minute Rush to Spy on Trump Team, Conceal Intel Sources - Duration: 17:20.

Former Obama Official Describes Last-Minute Rush to Spy on Trump Team, Conceal Intel Sources

A former top Obama administration official made a stunning admission during a panel discussion

on MSNBC's Morning Joe this week.

Evelyn Farkas, a former deputy assistant secretary of defense under Obama, openly admitted that

her colleagues had gathered intelligence on the Trump campaign's alleged ties to Russia

before Donald Trump took office and then tried to hide the sources of that intelligence from

the incoming administration.

"I was urging my former colleagues and, frankly speaking, the people on the Hill,

it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you

can, get as much intelligence as you can, before President Obama leaves the administration,"

said Farkas.

Note that by "the Hill people," she means congressional Democrats and their staffers.

"I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior [Obama] people

who left, so it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy," she said, adding that if "the

Trump folks" found out how they knew what they knew, "they would try to compromise those

sources and methods, meaning we would no longer have access to that intelligence."

The comments come as lawmakers on Capitol Hill clash over House Intelligence Committee

Chairman Devin Nunes' claim last week that surveillance operations incidentally collected

Trump team communications during the transition.

Critics have accused Nunes of carrying water for Trump and called on him to recuse himself

from Russia matters, but Nunes and his congressional allies have pushed back.

Aside from questions over whether communications were improperly gathered during the transition

and before, there is speculation over how widely such information was disseminated.

Farkas described a rush to spread the material before Trump took office.

"So I became very worried because not enough was coming out into the open and I knew that

there was more.

We have very good intelligence on Russia," she said.

"So then I had talked to some of my former colleagues and I knew that they were trying

to also help get information to the Hill."

"That's why you have the leaking," Farkas explained helpfully.

According to Powerline's Scott Johnson, Farkas "all but outed herself as a key source" for

a New York Times story earlier this month that detailed the Obama administration's

efforts to undermine the incoming Trump administration.

The March 1 Times story ran under the headline "Obama administration rushed to preserve

intelligence of Russian election hacking" under the byline of Matthew Rosenberg, Adam

Goldman and Michael Schmidt.

The Times reporters noted that they protected the identity of their sources because, you

know, their cooperation with the Times was criminal or because their actions were otherwise

legally problematic.

The Times reporters put it this way in their March 1 story:

More than a half-dozen current and former officials described various aspects of the

effort to preserve and distribute the intelligence, and some said they were speaking to draw attention

to the material and ensure proper investigation by Congress.

All spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were discussing classified information,

nearly all of which remains secret.

Jordan Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice recently argued on Fox Business

that Barack Obama should be subpoenaed to testify before a closed-door committee hearing

to get to the bottom of the spying allegations.

"He is the one through his associates saying, 'I had nothing to do with this,'" Sekulow

said.

He added that other Obama officials who had that power to "unmask" Americans should also

be subpoenaed.

"Why don't we also bring in some of his top officials like John Brennan, Clapper, Loretta

Lynch -- let's ask them -- Ben Rhodes..." he suggested.

"I believe it's time to put some Obama officials on the spot.

If they refuse to cooperate -- including the president himself -- I think that's telling."

Congressman No, Conservatives Didn't Bring Down AHCA

The presumption upon which much analysis and recrimination has been built since Friday

is that the American Health Care Act lacked support due to the intransigence of the House

Freedom Caucus.

Conservatives, standing their ground in allegiance to principle, brought down the AHCA we have

been told.

Indeed, that notion has been seized upon by the Trump White House to justify opening negotiations

with the Democrats.

One problem: it's not true.

Joining me on "Closing Argument," a local radio show broadcast on Twin Cities News Talk,

Congressman Tom Emmer told listeners Tuesday night that moderates -- not conservatives

-- brought down the AHCA.

He should know.

Emmer serves as a member of the deputy whip team for congressional Republicans.

As such, he personally spoke to members and had access to the actual whip count, something

which no reporter or commentator has seen.

Tom Emmer: ... I get up and I see a headline that says

something like...

"Epic Failure Caused by the Conservative Freedom Caucus..."

[The article] went on to talk about how the Freedom Caucus brought this bill down, and

they go back in history and try to suggest that [the Freedom Caucus is] the reason that

[former Speaker John] Boehner resigned.

... actually, it was the moderates ultimately that brought the bill down.

There were probably ten to fifteen members of the Freedom Caucus that were still a no.

Keep in mind that [the Freedom Caucus] reported their [total] numbers as close to forty.

So you had the vast majority of the Freedom Caucus that was already a yes.

And then you had probably the same number, ten to fifteen, of the Tuesday group -- which

are called the moderates.

They were also a no.

So, really, I think we were within a handful of votes.

But it was pretty evenly split between the most conservative side of our caucus and the

most liberal side of our caucus.

And it just wasn't being reported that way.

Emmer later added:

I won't give you names, because it's not fair.

I'm not going to share private stuff.

But I absolutely can tell you that there were two-thirds to three-quarters of the Freedom

Caucus [who] were yes on this bill.

Now, the reason I think it's not getting reported this way is -- one -- I think it's intentional.

It always has been this way.

You've got to marginalize the conservatives as much as possible.

I think this is done both by liberals on the Left as much as liberals on the Right, Walter.

The more you can marginalize this group, the less influence they can have, right?...

... I don't give the mainstream media this much credit, because I think they're both

ignorant and lazy.

I don't know where they get this information that they've reported as if they've got an

inside track.

I showed [a group of Republican activists] Saturday morning...

I pulled the list out of my pocket.

I had a whip list in my pocket, and I know the people that I talked to directly, and

I can guarantee you that the reporters in the mainstream media did not have the same

conversations that I did.

But I truly believe they have -- one -- they want to marginalize the ultra conservatives.

And two -- what they're doing is, they rationalize the fact that some of these moderates were

a yes until the conservatives started getting things taken out of the bill, the last of

which -- I told you -- was the Obama-titled "essential health benefits."

Those are mandated coverages imposed on insurance companies by Obamacare, which the AHCA initially

maintained.

Emmer contends that the removal of so-called essential health benefits from the AHCA lost

at least as much support from moderates as it gained from conservatives.

Therefore, the dominant media narrative that intransigent conservatives killed the bill

is incorrect.

That narrative has been echoed by the White House and leveraged to justify negotiations

with Democrats.

Emmer warns conservatives to be wary.

They should be very concerned.

First off, Walter, I would say to anybody that's listening; did you really think that

Donald Trump was conservative when he ran for president?

I mean, I don't think that's why he was elected.

He said the right things.

I think he was elected, not because he was loved, but because people across this country

are looking for the biggest baddest whoever that will grab these legislators in the swamp

by the ears and start shaking them around so that they get something done.

He came here to get something done.

And he's told us, those of us that consider ourselves conservatives, "I'm willing to work

with ya.

I'm willing to pass your entire agenda.

But you gotta work with me."

And his threat last week, when he said, "I'm all done negotiating....

I've done everything I can do.

We're done now....

Look if you're not willing to work with me, I'm going across the aisle and I'm going to

start working with Democrats and, by the way, you're not going to like what we do."

So, I guess what I say to Republican voters is, you knew what we were getting [in Donald

Trump].

I knew what we were getting.

But this is our chance... he's telling you that, if you don't start working with him

to get the things that we want, then he's got no choice because he's made these promises

and he's going to keep them, even if he doesn't honor it the way you or I would want it done.

We bought it.

We own it.

That's the bottom line, according to Emmer.

You're not going to get Trump to value conservatism over "getting it done," no matter how misguided

the thing ultimately done is.5-Year-Old Suspended from School for Pretending a Stick Was a Gun

Absurd.

In North Carolina, five-year old Caitlin Miller was playing "Kings and Queens" with her school

friends when she picked up a stick and pretended to "shoot" an intruder who had entered her

"kingdom."

Caitlin was a "guard" in the imaginary kingdom and her job was to protect the royals.

Below, first-person-stick-shooter Caitlin

Things quickly went south.

"Hoke County Schools said Caitlin posed a threat to other students when she made a shooting

motion, thus violating policy 4331."

The school district clowns offered a statement about the suspension: "Hoke County Schools

will not tolerate assaults, threats or harassment from any student.

Any student engaging in such behavior will be removed from the classroom or school environment

for as long as is necessary to provide a safe and orderly environment for learning," the

school system says.

This ABC11 video shows Caitlin describing her "crime."

Really?

ABC11 reports, "Miller says Caitlin was alienated by her friends and teachers as a result of

the suspension.

She hopes that the school will issue some sort of apology to her daughter."

This is terrible.

What sort of idiots are teaching America's children?

A teacher had to decide that Caitlin's pretend behavior was dangerous and a threat to those

in the school and then school administrators had to agree to suspend her.

The anti-gun left has schools so spooked and scared they are punishing 5-year-old girls

for playing.

Fox News judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano was back on the air as a contributor Wednesday

after a ten-day suspension, standing by his claim that Obama used a British intelligence

organization to spy on then president-elect Trump.

"Yes, I do and the sources stand by it," Napolitano told host Bill Hemmer when asked if he was

sticking to the story.

"And the American public needs to know more about this rather than less because a lot

of the government surveillance authority will expire in the fall and there will be a great

debate about how much authority we want the government to have to surveil us, and the

more the American public knows about this the more informed their and the Congress'

decision will be."

Napolitano later said that "a lot more is going to come" on the issue.

The judge dropped his bombshell on Fox News March 13, saying that "three intelligence

sources have informed Fox News that President Obama went outside the chain of command.

He didn't use the NSA, he didn't use the CIA, he didn't use the FBI, and he didn't use the

Department of Justice."

Instead, Napolitano said, Obama used GCHQ, a British intelligence and security organization

that has 24-7 access to the NSA database.

"There's no American fingerprints on this," Napolitano said.

"What happened to the guy who ordered this?

Resigned three days after Donald Trump was inaugurated."

"He used GCHQ.

What is that?

It's the initials for the British intelligence-finding agency," Napolitano said on Fox.

"So, simply by having two people saying to them president needs transcripts of conversations

involving candidate Trump's conversations, involving President-elect Trump, he's able

to get it and there's no American fingerprints on this."

After White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer repeated Napolitano's claim during a press

briefing, the British government denied having anything to do with spying on Trump, calling

the allegation "off the scale crazy" and "very hard to understand."

National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers also denied Napolitano's assertions.

According to the Daily Mail, Spicer and General McMaster, the U.S. national security adviser,

later apologized for repeating the claims.

Napolitano was temporarily suspended from Fox News soon after that.Wellesley Faculty

Says Free Speech Infringes on Liberty

The left doesn't use fixed definitions, but rather uses propaganda terms that can be twisted

and manipulated into anything they need them to be at any given time.

It's like there isn't a single leftist in the world who owns a dictionary.

The latest example of this is actually a retread of a classic: professors at Wellesley College

are claiming that non-politically correct speech is an abridgment of liberty:

In a faculty listserv message obtained by the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education,

the two-year-old Presidential Commission on Race, Ethnicity, and Equity said the recently

invited Laura Kipnis and previous controversial speakers were exhausting students with their

offensiveness.

The six faculty on the women's college commission cited the left-wing historian Jelani Cobb's

theory that certain ideas "impose on the liberty of another" if the person hearing

those ideas is "relatively disempowered":

There is no doubt that the speakers in question impose on the liberty of students, staff,

and faculty at Wellesley.

We are especially concerned with the impact of speakers' presentations on Wellesley

students, who often feel the injury most acutely and invest time and energy in rebutting the

speakers' arguments.

Students object in order to affirm their humanity.

This work is not optional; students feel they would be unable to carry out their responsibilities

as students without standing up for themselves.

Apparently referring to campus reactions to Kipnis -- the subject of a two-month Title

IX "inquisition" at Northwestern University, where she teaches film -- the commission members

said "dozens of students" have told them "they are in distress as a result of a speaker's

words."

What the professors should have done was tell these children to shut up and deal.

Not everyone in life is going to give a flying fig about how they feel about things.

If my words are capable of imposing on someone else's liberty simply because they dislike

them, then I should be able to make the exact same claim, correct?

If it's dehumanizing to claim that someone needs to get a job or should be deported because

they entered the country illegally, then isn't it dehumanizing to compare me to a Nazi?

We're all guaranteed equal protection under the law per the Constitution, and that's because

the Constitution is intended to protect our natural rights.

If mere words can be claimed as an abridgment of liberty, then everyone can make that claim

against everybody, and all free speech is canceled out.

So no more complaints about which pronoun I must use, no more claiming that those who

own guns are violent criminals in waiting, no more accusations of racism based on a policy

disagreement, and so on.

See how that works?

The reality is that when the left makes these claims, they never think about how their ideas

are dead on the drawing board.

They never think about how authoritarian these policies are.

They simply assume they get to be the ones in charge of vetting what can and can't be

said.

I hear thunder, I hear thunder.

Don't you too? Don't you too?

Pitter, patter raindrops,

Pitter, patter raindrops,

I'm wet through; so are you.

I hear thunder, I hear thunder.

Hear it roar! Hear it roar!

Pitter, patter raindrops,

Pitter, patter raindrops,

I'm all wet! I'm all wet!

I see blue skies, I see blue skies,

Way up high, Way up high!

Hurry up the sunshine,

Hurry up the sunshine,

We'll soon dry! We'll soon dry!

Coniglio porta uovo all'uncinetto - Crochet bunny egg cover (EN subs). Tutorial Pasqua - Duration: 18:55.

Hi everyone!

Today I'm going to show you my Easter 2017 tutorial

This adorable bunny which covers...an egg!!

It's very easy to do!

You need just some cotton or thin wool, like the one I used.

And a crochet hook n° C/D USA (11/10 UK)

So, choose a yarn suitable for this type of crochet hook.

Color of your choice... I used a light purple yarn for the body,

a brown yarn for the eyes and a pink yarn for the nose

The gauge is not necessary.

But it's better to compare the dimensions of the work with an egg progressively,

to understand if you need to do more or less increases.

But don't worry because it's a very simple work!

Let's get started!!

Start with a magic ring

1 chain

6 single crochet inside the ring

one...

two...

three...

four... work other 2 single crochet

Now you can pull the thread and close the hole

2 single crochet inside each stitch of the former round

(I'm showing the st.s of my former round...

...and then I insert the hook inside the first one to work 2 single crochet).

One single crochet is done, now I work the second one.

And also the second s.c. is done.

Now 2 s.c. inside the following stitch.

one... another one here...

complete the round in this way: 2 s.c. in each stitch of the former round

= 12 total st.s

Following round: 2 s.c. in the first stitch

one... another one here...

and 1 s.c. in the following stitch

and again 2 s.c. in the following stitch

one...

and two...

1 s.c. in the following stitch

complete the round in this way: *2s.c, 1s.c* = 18st.s

Grab the egg and check if the dimensions of your work are ok.

It's better to check sometimes during the work,

in this way you understand if you need more increases or not

New round: 2s.c. in the first stitch

one...

another one here...

two...

2 s.c. in the following stitch

one...

two...

and 1 s.c. in the following 4 stitches

so, 1s.c here...

1s.c in the following st...

1s.c in the following st...

and 1s.c. in the following st (and that's 4)

complete the round in this way:

*2s.c, 2s.c, 1s.c, 1s.c, 1s.c, 1s.c* = 24 st.s

Now, 2 rounds without any increase...

so, 1s.c. in each stitch.

2 rounds in this way

Following round: 2s.c. in the first stitch,

one...

two...

and 1s.c. in the following 3 stitches

Complete the round in this way:

*2s.c, 1s.c, 1s.c, 1s.c* = 30 st.s

Now work 6 rounds without any increase.

So, 1s.c in each stitch.

I already worked these 6 rounds...

and now I check the dimensions of my work with the egg...

I'm going to work some increases now,

beacuse I reached the wider part of the egg.

After those 6 rounds without increases...

2s.c in the first stitch

1s.c. in the following 5 stitches

Complete the round in this way:

*2s.c, 1s.c, 1s.c, 1s.c, 1s.c, 1s.c* = 35 stitches.

Now 1 round without any increase: 1s.c. in each st.

Following round: 1 decrease

1s.c in the following 5 stitches

and then another decrease

1s.c in the following 5 stitches

another decrease...

Complete the round in this way:

*1 dec, 1s.c x5* = 30 stitches

Following round: 1dec,

1s.c in the following 3 stitches

another decrease...

and 1s.c in the following 3 stitches

another decrease...

Complete the round in this way:

*1dec, 1s.c x3* = 24 stitches.

Following round: 1 dec.

1s.c in the following 4 stitches

Complete the round in this way:

*1dec, 1s.c x4* = 20 stitches

The body of my bunny is ok and I won't work any other round.

Check your work with the egg and decide if you need to work another round or not.

As you can see the egg leans against my work and it doesn't fell

Let's see how to close the body.

Close the round working a slip stitch.

Now you can cut the thread.

Let's start with the ears.

Make a slip knot.

Chain 4.

1s.c in the second ch. from the hook.

1s.c in the following ch.

1s.c. in the last chain

chain 1

Turn your work

2s.c in the first stitch

one...

and another one...

1s.c in the following stitch

2s.c. in the following st

Now we have 5 total st.s

Chain 1

Turn your work and 1s.c in each stitch

1s.c in each stitch for other 3 rounds.

So, chain one

turn your work

and 1s.c. in each stitc.

Repeat these passages for 3 rounds.

Then, chain 1.

Turn your work.

1 decrease

1s.c in the following stitch

1 decrease

Chain 1

1s.c. in each stitch

Chain 1

1 decrease : 3 stitches together

Cut the thread living a long tail.

With that tail we're going to sew the ear to the body.

Hide the other thread through the stitches by means of a needle.

So now I can sew the ear...

Ok. Now go back to minute 11.07 and repeat all these steps to make the second ear.

Let's do the eyes.

You can use the eyes for dolls if you have them.

Anyway, now I'm going to show you how to make eyes using some thread.

Grab a brown thread and make a knot .

Hide the thread inside your work.

And go on with the second eye...

And this is our Easter 2017 tutorial!

I hope you enjoyed it. I think it's really cute!

I think it's a good idea to create several bunnies of different colors,

and decor your Easter table with a group of bunnies!

I'm arranging an Easter video for kids,

I'm going to issue it next week, so all kids are invited!

It's a sort of game, so, anyone who wants to have some fun shouldn't miss the video!

Otherwise, have a look to my Easter 2016 tutorial!

Last year I made those nice baskets....

If you subrscribed to my channel or liked/shared my video, thank you!

Happy Easter!!!!

And see you soon with new videos. Byeeeeee :-)
